In short

The Shearlax Team podcast discusses festive gift ideas, fashion finds, and a “new and noteworthy” culture segment, then pivots into communication/self-reflection advice and a media-chat about Simon Cowell’s Netflix boy-band search (including Lauren Silverman’s role) and Tom Hiddleston’s The Night Manager.

Guests

Georgie Corridge-Cole (founder/CEO) hosts with Hodge and Josh Smith. Backgrounds mentioned in-episode: Georgie is a fashion/editorial brand founder; Hodge is a style/content contributor; Josh Smith is a podcast host/author (Great Chat Show) and runs the Rain/Josh Smith’s Great Chat Show.

Key claims

Brands can “disrupt” (e.g., Lululemon leggings as wardrobe staples; Pears socks as a surprising hit). Social success comes from committing to “yes,” saying “no” early, and being present (not on phones). Communication skills should be taught to kids; conversation cards help cross-generational bonding.

Notable examples

Kate Hudson’s Song Sung Blue (New Year’s Day cinema release); Buckeye (Patrick Ryan) spanning WWII to Vietnam; conversation cards for grandparents; Lululemon styling; Discotec fragrance “Heathens Cowboys”; Pears socks; The Pantry Underwear (virtual fittings, inclusive sizes).

On this week's podcast, I'm joined by Hodge and Josh Smith. we talked about everything from Hodges' new girl crush. Lauren Silverman. Oh my God. I love her. So do I. Wow. Like she's the star of the show. The product the Sherlock's team are absolutely obsessed with and have been obsessed with for years.

0:42Sherlock's team have been such a fan. Yeah. Of this brand. But it just shows that there are brands that can disrupt. About the new series of The Night Manager. Hooray. if you never watched it where have you been? Tom Hiddleston is so good. Have you seen that dancing thing he does? Yes. Oh my god, hot. He is hot. He is hot. I know we shouldn't get like subjective about it but It is Christmas. Oh, it's Christmas. There you go. Ho, ho, ho. Ho with an E. Ho, ho, ho. And Hodge tells us an absolutely unmissable story. Don't hop back on the details. Wow. Wow. Cliphanger. Cliphanger to cliffhanger. And I love them.

1:26Wow. The end. The end. I haven't lost this much for a while.

1:42Today's episode is brought to you by Lululemon, the brand we turn to time and time again for leggings that work harder than anything else in our wardrobes. What we love most is how seamlessly they move from workout to real world dressing. We know they always nail it when it comes to performance. They are supportive and sculpting and unbelievably comfortable, but they've also become a serious wardrobe trend in their own right as well. And as such a fashion staple, you can dress up or down. The team has been tying them in so many elevated and fashion forward ways. It's actually given me so much inspiration.

2:12Think sharp, tailored blazer, sleek leggings for a clean pull together look. or on office days, I'm actually fully converted at the idea of wearing leggings with loafers with socks to give that cool off-duty edge. Whether you prefer buttery soft align or more supportive wonder train, Lululemon leggings are the foundation you can build countless outfits around. It's for the full collection, including new lengths, colours and fabrics at lululemon.co.uk. Now back to the episode. Hello, I'm Georgie Corridge-Cole, Shailux's founder and CEO. And welcome to today's Shailux team podcast. Woo! Woo hoo!

2:44We forgot the, forgot the dress code, Hodge. I know, damn. I've gone pure Winter Wonderland girls. You have, have you been? I haven't done Winter Wonderland, but I did, have you done Lapland UK? Yeah, yes. Oh my God. Amazing. It's the piece of resistance. Yeah, it's amazing. It's the best thing in the UK. I literally took my godson when he was like one and a half, so he had no idea what was going on. It was just me and my friend having the best time ever. It's so great, the little owls, and you like make the, you make the toys. It's amazing. I have to say it is run by the most amazing husband and wife.

3:15It's wild. It's like a family owned business. Yeah. Yeah. And it's like really small. And now it's like huge. Now it's in Cheshire. I mean, they're taking it. But it's so well done. They've got huge fans. Because you cannot believe it when you go to meet Santa. Not to spoil this to any kids listening to this. Please stop right now. If you are a warning. There's obviously about 50 Santas there, aren't there? In their little like huts. It's very well organized. And you never see another Santa. No, that's so true. Like it's so well done. And it's so bougie. So bougie. Like, it is the best. Yeah, even when you ice skate, you think these boots might be clean.

3:47Yeah. Yeah, they smell fresh. They should be. Yeah, exactly. It is so good, though. It's quite a long wait to go and see one of the... Did you say Santa? Yeah, Santa. My daughter came in from school and said, Santa, I was like, I'm sorry, we're not American. It's Father Christmas. No offence to Americans watching. It's Father Christmas where I came from. I always say Santa. I mix it up fabulous jumper so I'm actually going for like an alternative chic Christmas jumper today this is an Aspen inspired kind of like retro 1950s jumper from M &S get on your local high street I'm also wearing white cords from M &S autograph I tell you what I was dicing with death with these on the Bakerloo line the rusty old Bakerloo line sitting on these I can tell you right now why would you sit on the Bakerloo line because I had to babe I mean all of that That would be spinning out right now.

4:40She can't cope with anyone sitting on any line. Elizabeth Lines stand always. Elizabeth Lines is so clean. Laura gives you the ick about certain things. Like pre-cut fruit salad and stuff like that. Some germs are good for you. Do you know what I mean? But this was a bit dicey. I was like getting up like looking like, oh my God, am I dirty? But I survived. I'm intact. And I'm quite a messy pup. Are you sponsored by Martin Spencer's? Not right now, no. Okay. but he's open to a partnership I'm open to a partnership I mean I just did one for the Kelly Hopon candle which I'm obsessed with which we don't need to go all about anymore yeah so I hear I'm obsessed you should have brought one it's the best festive candle on the high street and she's only 25 pounds okay Kelly you need to send Josh a lifetime supply of your candle I have got a lifetime supply of it don't worry it's the best festive candle I'm telling you right now double wick who doesn't love a double wick I like a triple do you like a triple wick yeah okay kinky how did you make that sound sexy how it's a candle you went from candle to like freesome territory in like 0.2 seconds good lord okay you already wouldn't have anything to say and you weren't prepared we're fine Hodge what are you wearing today I am wearing a polo neck body from Novo R.I.P oh no is she gone I don't know no not the person but we love it's so good just really who's Novo?

6:10Novo London we did like is she gone? dear oh dear she hasn't died but I think the Brad might have well it's a shame because it's great anyway and it's a body and it sucks you in and it's a good neck yeah they're good though Georgie and I have a lot of discussions about the neck you also have a good neck I don't really no I feel like you have a very like long The neck is a good, we discussed yesterday that a roll neck that hangs sort of makes me feel like much as I love my mother, like I love my mother. Like a dip, like dips. Whereas this is sort of not tight, but it's got a structure. And a skirt from Ninooshka, which is a leather pencil wrap skirt, which is an oldie.

6:52I've had this for years. And then boots from Jennifer Chimanti. I thought you were going to say that. Yeah. You do look very sexy, Hodge. God, really? I have to say. You look great. Always. always. Really bringing it though. Thank you. God, I didn't feel that sexy this morning. Well, don't you worry, I'm here to be soon, darling. It's been a 10th December. And earrings are by Alana and then bracelets of Paolo Signofi. How long have we got to go through your jewellery? I mean, we'll be here all year. Can we have a shout out for Jennifer Chimrandi? When is her Leading Ladies episode coming out? It went live on Sunday.

7:23What are you wearing, can you? I'm wearing a maybe blazer. Molly May. Great shoulder. Oh my God, is that Molly May's bra? And babe, I thought you were going to say this is highly designer. Thanks. It's really stunning. Go on, Molly, babe. I know. It is really a great blazer. Yeah. She's got a new head of brand that's XMNM. And when they came into our office recently with Amazon Prime, she was wearing this blazer, the brand woman. And I was like, God, I love that. She said it's maybe. The shoulder is incredible. And the lapel. It's really good. Well, if you're interested in this maybe blazer, this is not an ad.

7:59And this is a size 8. And I am normally a 10-12 oversizer. But the 10 was a bit too big. So there you go. Yeah, it's really giving CEO energy. I think it's giving wardrobe and rice seed buys with it. Good, isn't it? I belted it with a dehorsh belt. Stunning. Lovely touch. And these earrings are from SORU. I love that they're silver and gold. Yeah, I love them. They are really cool. And they are really light. And I've got really, really, really stretch lobes. like super light yeah and I'm wearing Zara jeans and you know I had the H &M yeah dupes I've now got the Balenciagos oh and it is just such a good toe I know toes have gone a little bit square this season but I really like that serious point how far do they go at your leg I need to it's a good it's a good ankle isn't it it is good it's good for the legging we've got good ankles and good necks on this podcast anyway there we go

9:06new and noteworthy this is where we share the things we're loving at the moment from recent discoveries to stand up buys and bookings if it's caught our eye it's worth yours too wow love that wink wink so the things that caught my eye that i've been to recently that i've become obsessed with so i've recently got back into kate hudson in a really big way interesting so i am hook line sinker obsessive her because i saw her new movie song sung blue now bear with me because this is a niche i was gonna say okay so she stars in it with hugh jackman and she plays the husband and wife duo who form a neil diamond tribute act so we're like sweet caroline it looks amazing it is so amazing like honestly when someone said that to me like that's what the movie is about I was like Christ alive how am I going to get through this it was so amazing what happens to this real life couple it's a real life story what happens to them is unbelievable and she is so incredible in it like the performance is 10 out of 10 if she doesn't get an Oscar nomination for it I'm going to riot sorry can we have the name again I need to write this down Song Sung Blue it's out on the 1st of January Is it Song Song Blue?

10:22Is it like Song Song? It's coming out in the cinema on New Year's Day. I went to the premiere of it and she looks sensational. Also, he looks so good. Whatever he's done to his face, I need to know immediately. What, the husband in the film? Hugh Jackman looks amazing. That's why they came up on my feed. And they're, they're honestly, it's so incredible. Also, Kate Hudson's singing voice is so great. Yes, because she did that other Almost Famous, whatever it was. Yeah. Interesting in that. I'm obsessed with her. And then I've gone back into a whole whole of watching. I was obsessed with her mother, can I just say?

10:49Oh, Goldie Warner. I mean, she is like the ultimate babe, isn't she? I mean, when I... She is. She's the ultimate babe. I'm used. So make sure you go see that. Sorry, song song blue. You were going to say something else. I always get told I interrupted. It's super feel good. But also Kate Hudson, like, it's just maybe just fall into a Kate Hudson hole. I've been watching like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days again. Oh, we watched that recently. The best rom-com of all time. And she actually came to my podcast. It's not the best rom-com of all time. Oh, it is. It is not. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is one of the best rom-coms.

11:18I would say it's the best. Would you? Well, comment below. Comment below. We're going for engagement. So lots of comments. Tell us your best rom-com. But also one of the best dressers ever in a rom-com. I think we can all agree. That's that yellow one. That's different to the best rom-com. No, no, no. I think it's winning two awards there, babe. Okay. And Matthew McConaughey at that stage. Hot, hot, hot. Oh my God, chef's kiss. Carved by Michelangelo himself. He is so fit. So yeah, so I've just put Falling Into My Kate Hudson hole. And she came on my podcast about a year ago. Did she? And she was - Such a name dropper.

11:49amazing and she's also just full of great life advice and she said this really amazing thing to me which i think is actually quite good for us to all reflect on in the festive season um is if you're pointing a finger out what are the three fingers pointing back at you so if you're like she said so if you're saying that like this person's really offended me or they're acting badly no no no look inwards there are three look inwards what have you done what What have you done to bring that to the table? What kind of person are you even? And what kind of person are you? I'm not sure we need an explanation.

12:21I think that's brilliant. It's a great little piece of advice. I do type self-reflection at the moment. Babe, this is the season for self-reflection, honey. No, that's January, I think. No, I think we gear up. I do really lots of self-reflection in December. You do. What is your biggest takeaway on yourself this year then? That's I need to say yes more than I say no. What? I thought you were all about saying no. So I've had this whole thing recently where I think we've gotten to a culture where we were so obsessed with our boundaries. We are so obsessed with our boundaries. We talk about them all the time.

12:53And we've become so unaware of other people's boundaries in that conversation. It's like we never ever talk about other people's boundaries. Our boundaries, like I've been offended by this. I need to take this time out to do this. And you'll end up having people not showing up for you because they're like, oh, I'm going to say no to that because I'm tired. I'm like, no, no, no. You said yes to that. You need to show up for that. and I've actually had a little bit of self-reflection about that because I think I was quite a bad friend at different points in this year where I'd be like I'm sorry I'm just too tired I can't come and actually people want you there they want you to show up and yes is a full sentence and once you've said yes stick to the plan don't then back out of it if you need to not do it because you're worn down you need to say no great say no straight away don't say no later on down the line and I think that's that's a real self-reflection I've done this year when I need to say yes more than they say no yeah um and just weigh up what those yeses and nos are but turn up for your friends but commit to the yes and stick to the yes don't be a flake yeah don't be a flake i'm quite harsh on flake yeah i'm like two three strikes yeah oh it's 100 but we live in a flaky culture it's the season of the flake yeah literally pick your yes that this is new territory pick your yes yeah commit to it and go for it i think this year i've been better actually at being more selective and then going for it when I want to go for it.

14:12That's exactly what I'm saying. But, you know, to my, I mean, it's rare. I haven't been out this week and I'm in tonight and then I've got a really busy weekend. Like I can think of times gone by when I'd have had so many things I didn't really want to be at. And I'd be much better at thinking that's the stuff I want to do. So I'm going to be ready for it and enjoy it. It's about looking after your social battery, isn't it? And being like, right, I want to show up and say yes to those people. so I don't want to turn up and be a shadow of myself I want to turn up and be there and be present that's what people want from you I think you're right I think people have become slightly self-obsessed but sometimes you need to see the bigger picture and be a good friend and actually you get so much gain from being a good friend yes like I you know when people are like thank you so much for coming you know whatever or thank you for listening to me thanks for coming out for dinner we needed that that fills my cup presence is a present yeah right oh my god And it's a season of giving and receiving honeys and be giving that presents.

15:09Yeah. Show up. Don't just turn up. Also, what I hate is when you go out for dinners and people are on their phones or they're like thinking about the next thing or they're talking about the next thing they're doing. And you're like, be here now. I think if you pick the right people to be around, they should be on their phones. That doesn't happen since March. Anyway, good advice. Yeah, great advice. So we went from Kate Hudson to self-reflection. Presents is a present. There you go, everybody. You are welcome. Hodge, you're noteworthy. Mine is a book I've just read. Can we just also just talk about saying it for 2.2 seconds?

15:46I cannot believe how much you read. Like, when are you doing it? How are you doing it? This is a wonder to you. How do you get it in? I love reading. But when are you doing it, babe? It's my pure, like, pleasure. But when do you do it? I read every night in bed. but you must be getting into bed at like 9pm to get through those chapters she also watches quite a lot of TV and is very social it is it does play my mind also and you're a love but I get into bed at probably about 10.30 and then I'll read for half an hour oh god you must be a quick reader because you get through those books do you still read?

16:19no no you need it to switch my brain off that's why I do it and I need I know I should do it more I try and I think also I find such I'm quite nosy person and I quite like you know I want to know about people's lives and I find this is a great way to learn about different people's emotions and reasons for doing things but the book I've just read it's called Buckeye and it's a debut novel by an American author called Patrick Ryan and it's about four people and it's a multi-generational story there's four key figures in it and it starts with them and two of them a woman and a man have this sort of like massive thing happened to them and then it's the after effects of how that affects generations moving forward but it's set between the second world war and then vietnam and oh wow so it's sort of it's a little about you know women being um left to hold the fall and then what happens to them and their identity and then when the husbands come back from the war and how their roles have changed and it's very emotional because that was a really transformative time yeah wasn't it yeah that period after the second world when they had been involved doing whatever they were you know yeah they had jobs yeah and they're having their husbands be affected by second world and then their sons get called up in vietnam and they're seeing that and the worry and so that But it's very, you know, there's death and marriage and love and birth.

17:53But it's just, he weaves the story so well. What way do you read that? Where I do Pilates, there's a bookshop opposite. And it was in the window and it said, this is the book of the year. And I hadn't heard about it anywhere. It says here, praised by critics and authors like Tom Hanks. Because apparently there hasn't been a book that covers this topic. Yeah. From the Second World War to Vietnam. and it'll definitely be a movie. It honestly, it just, I was sobbing at the end. Oh, I can't wait to read this. Are you okay? But with like happiness because you're just, you're so invested in these characters.

18:30I'd really, it's quite a long book but I'd really recommend it when we switch off over Christmas. It's good for your soul. I've heard by the time I've read the papers, the weekend papers. You're over it. You're done. That's the reading. done i've still got the ft by my bed from sunday oh i can't read the papers in bed i read those on the sofa yeah um well mine you are noteworthy can i go over here i love how we like life advice deep moments about vietnam war i can't wait to see what this is gonna be mine's things okay call me call me shallow but mine is things and first of all i bought them with me a bit of show and tell love that basically r.i.p the show and things we love because that was always my favorite segment so i'm bringing it back to the podcast today and you're the boss babe oh exactly thanks josh i have got this bag which is from a brand called verified which is i think it's exclusive at selfridges but i think this is really good color it's like a pony skin clutch and i don't normally like pony but i actually do really like this and anyway check them out verified they've got affordable obviously you know everything is relative versus designer bags we're talking sort of i think three four hundred pounds yeah a really nice kind of nueve the row inspired stuff it's a good leopard because normally there's no yellow in it yeah i so agree i'm not a fan of that anyway i really like this as a clutch um so there's that um the next one is it's like brand called discotech oh my god i love this brand it's so cool my friend does the pr for it ap well shout out to ap he's gonna be thrilled with this credit babe he's gonna take you out for dinner he's always emailing you that is finally paying off

20:31just a little christmas pretty christmas present for ap i just say this took me by surprise because the packaging, the outside carton is quite extra. It's called Discotec, so you know, it's no great surprise. But I perhaps wouldn't have been drawn to the outside carton. The bottle's so chic though. But the bottle is quite retro, isn't it? It's cool. It looks nice on your dresser. Quite, yeah, 70s, quite art deco. Anyway, this one is called Heathens Cowboys. Yeehaw! And the Santa Anna Wins. don't know what that means no i can tell you that it smells up because i've used this already oh my god you're really getting through it babe i know how effing is that because it's all inspired by clubs of yesteryear isn't it this one oh my god my mom says if you're sporty you just naturally throw things i was like hr's gonna be called in a minute she's gonna be knocked out by that Can we just have a moment for how good it smells?

21:37It smells good. It is so good. I wouldn't normally crap on about a fragrance because I think visually it's quite hard. But I think this is absolutely amazing. Every time I have it on, people go, what is that? So good. I'm almost no tea. I also just think it's such a cool brand because it's all inspired by clubs of yesteryear. And I just think when 50 % of the clubs in this country have closed down, bring back the clubbing scene, babe. Do you know what I mean? Yes. but this there's a discovery this is legitimately in my bag okay oh my god i'm obsessed you working on a pyramid scheme or something for them babe you and that caliope from cancer sell sell sell anyway these have been sitting on my desk for ages i think people think i've got little sheet cigars i know um but do you look like cigarettes isn't that quite cool yeah anyway In it is a discovery set of all the fragrances.

22:34I have one of their candles, which is like called the Wag Club. The Wag Club. And I love it. The Wag Club. It's called the Wag Club. It's kind of fun. I love it. We need that. Yeah. Not that we are a wag. Anyway. We're independent ladies in our own right. Yes. With no wags. And my final thing. I have to have a moment for this brand. I'm just obsessed that you have all these pairs of socks in your handbag. They were in their office. No, no, they weren't. They were at home in my underwear drawer, and I actually picked them up and put them in my bag to bring in today. Because this is a brand that got in touch with us, I want to say around COVID time, and they were a really small business, like a one-man band.

23:13Maybe they still are, I don't know. But the point is they got in touch, and they said, I know so-and-so, and, you know, is there anything we could do with you? We're really small, we don't have much budget, but is there anything we could do? And I think it was COVID year, and we weren't having a Christmas party. And we had Christmas packages. And we had Christmas hampers. Exactly. And we did these lovely boxes with candles, socks, choni trocolonies. It was so sweet. Because that had just gone wild then. Champagne. And we sent them to everybody at home. Oh, my God. And it was a real hit. And ever since, the Sherlock's team have been such a fan of this brand.

23:47I cannot tell you. I can tell you that I'm also wearing these. Because they're long. They're really thin ones. And they're perfect length for your boot. And they're really nice with a heel. And I think everyone is loving that socks and slingbacks and heels is really popular right now. And if you get really cool toes like me, that is music to your ears. Anyway, they sweetly sent me, I think, a different style in every grey that they have. Like, those with some trackie buns. Oh, the fluffy ones are so great. Pulled over your trackie buns. Off to work. Had a shower. On the sofa. Do you know what I mean?

24:25Oh, delicious. I was wearing cream. I had one of these last night with my grey trackies, and I was so cosy. Anyway, they're a really good Christmas present. I mean, who knew we could get that excited over socks? No, but they're so good. But I would say Pears socks are really... But it just shows that there are brands that can disrupt, you know? Like, who would think that, as you say, we get so pumped about a sock? Like, truly, this is not an ad. Truly, they sent me those as a thank you because we've supported them over the years. And everyone genuinely loves them. And genuinely, everyone in our office knows the pairs and has their socks and loves their socks.

25:03Fashion finds. I've practically done mine. Okay, I'm actually going to shout out to my best friend's business because I do think in these times we need to be calling out independent businesses. Absolutely. Especially run by women. And my friend Ellie runs this incredible underwear store called The Pantry Underwear. Oh, good name. It is online and it's also in real life on your high street in Islington. And also in Saffron Walton. So any Saffron Walton girlies out there, get down there. So it's such an amazing business because she has all the brands under the sun. Goes from an A cup all the way up to a K cup.

25:37Like we're talking like she's got you covered. And her actual brand, she has her own brand, the pantry underwear brand as well. She has in there, which is incredible. and she does like stunning dressing gown sets pyjama sets for Christmas and also she does this really amazing service where you can do virtual fittings so if you're like a little bit conscious about going for a bra fitting she can do them virtually as well I know I didn't you can do that now yeah it's amazing yeah because it is quite it's a lot when you're shoved in remember back in the day oh my god when you go behind the changing room I only gave you my first bra fitting do you remember that it was such a big deal at school and so many women's really struggle with that still it's like they have those bras i mean girlies tell me you have the bras in those drawers for years and then you're before you're actually getting you're not doing that have a clear out you have a clear out darling get down to the patchy underwear yeah but she's amazing and off the back of it she's also started her own bridal range but it's amazing because what the reason why she started the bridal wear is because she had so many brides coming to her with like looking for underwear solutions for wedding dresses she was like I'm going to start designing wearing wedding dresses and they are so chic super modern wow if you can get engaged over Christmas get down to the pantry bridal okay honey super super chic wink wink Tom's not this thing super super chic and she does these stunning like sheer overlays over dresses oh wow like honestly oh I'm dying to see a picture now Hodge fashion finds fashion finds okay so I've just recently found a new pair of jeans revisited Aneen Bing I love Aneen Bing Anina.

27:14Anina Bing. I used to wear a lot of her jeans when it was sort of, I remember that really light pair I had. I had holes everywhere. I remember them so much. But they were sort of straight, a little, like not tight at the end. Anyway. Yes, I do. Do you remember? It's a quite summery pair. Yes. And I'd wear them with mules. Yes, I do. Anyway, I was really into her and then sort of moved on. We were all so into her. And then, yeah, I followed this stylist called Joanna Jacobson, she had this amazing pair of jeans on and I messaged her and I was like, oh my god what are they and she was like I can send you a link I was like god that is so it because obviously that's what she does yeah um so but she didn't she didn't because she was ill which was a bum up so I found them myself don't don't don't don't hold back on the details wow I found them myself so many details to that story but so many twists and turns I'm gonna start again it's like an EastEnders episode it's a fairy I think you should write it into a Nina book As well as read them.

28:13Yeah. It's so cute. Most compelling book I've ever read. Cliphanger. Cliphanger to Cliphanger. No, she didn't get the link. Plotswood to Plotswood because she was ill. I know, it's a whole saga. So you got them. I got them. And I love them. Oh, wow. The end. The end. And then Hodge and her jeans lived happily ever after. Okay, are we got anything else? They're a mid-wash blue. I think we've done enough on this. But they're a really good fit. And then the other thing is our great friend Tash has a brand called Desavory London. And I've just got a Mongolian brown short jacket from her. I love it.

28:52Oh, Maya's got that one, hasn't she? Yes, so good. So good. I really feel like if you were to look back on this year at independent fashion brands in this country, you'd have to give a massive shout out to Desavory. And I'm biased and they're a client of lots of K, but it really is amazing what she's achieved from her rebrand, which was last year, through to her pop-up on the King's Road and just being worn by so many incredible women. Yeah. I mean, not just in the UK. I mean, she's really gone to new heights. It's amazing. Yeah, this has been her year. And she's so sweet. We both got the sort of burgundy-coloured, cropped leather with shoulders, buckles.

29:34And the neck. such a goodie so good a goodie and also shout out to all the girlies running a business in this economy like it's hard in an independent business like wow yeah it's difficult it's really hard and we need to celebrate them get off Amazon get shopping on the independent yeah I know it is it's cool and we should support them you're quite right and last thing is massive shout out to the intimacy Ronnex that is where you want to buy your Ronnex I know the thermal cashmere blend because they're not tight on your neck this is where the track came from wasn't it yesterday I also think their lace bodies are really good the one I watched at Christmas party I had loads of comments about questions about and that was intimacy one of my fashion finds is well actually I'm going to sit here and be a bit smug because I was on a blush podcast with the lovely Alice Edit and she was taking the piss out of me for my leggings saying they're so uncool blah blah blah she might have said it more than once anyway I actually do love having the pussy taken out of me you rock a legging I always think it's the biggest compliment but she was like Georgie leggings like this anyway they are back are they yes sorry I feel like I literally woke up from a coma email the other day have you seen the Sherlock's lululemon yeah shoot that we did oh my god if there was a new and noteworthy that I missed it is that shoot that we did and I actually woke up Monday morning I was like what the hell am I gonna wear and we had posted on the friday our shoot which was the model in obviously very tight back leggings totem boots like quite baggy ones not like tight to the leg yeah totem boots a hoodie a blazer and sunnies it's so cool inspiration you needed though i thought you were channeling that on monday well i just woke up and was like right i've got meetings what am i gonna wear yeah and it's monday and it's cold and i'm tired and um it's really great your content really speaks to you both the walking amber i know but anyway i am here for the leggings yeah and i actually like them with like a boot like that yeah but you look good on it like a friday night you you know i like a legging with a heel and an oversized shirt so do i like that frankie shop shirt with stirrup leggings so good i feel like i like went to sleep in like 2005 and i've woken up again and it's still going on yeah the stirrup leggings back yeah it brings that brings me back like that's giving me ptsd from working in top shop back in the day like restocking those those stirrup leggings do you remember them with like the thick seam right tammy girl yeah so yeah and the really thick bit of elastic as well yeah it's just almost said at the end but anyway i'm here for the leggings i'm here for leggings and the intimacy bodies and roll necks yeah it's really good i also got some really good nightwear like silky slips yeah um i actually got them in croatia when i was hanging out waiting to get on a boat oh my god that sounds dickish doesn't it

32:42accessible yes yes could be in a ferry you never know yeah you never know um anyway Was it a ferry? Oh, no.

32:55I remember too. On a boat. Oh, God. Bring on the summer. Bikini tops. Please. Massive earrings. I'm ready. Oh, I'm ready. Be not. Okay. Well, she's off to Antigua, darling. So that's what she's going to be doing for Christmas long, isn't it? We have got serious problems over here. I'm going to have to mute you. I'm going to mute myself. Don't worry. thanks for doing the job for me

33:27so I've got some big news that's happening in January we are relaunching my podcast and we're changing the name so it's no longer gonna be called rain so after five years independent podcast and we're gonna be calling it Josh Smith's great chat show inspired by my book and also because it's a chat show so it works so well it's gonna be the same great conversations if you have listened to rain before you can also still catch up on all the episodes there's 150 of them babes don't you worry everyone from kate hudson all the way through to simpia revo uh plug plug plug like subscribe follow also like subscribe for this podcast too while you're here what doing it all yeah so it's gonna be the same great guests uh same amazing conversations it's going to be a bit more rooted in the power of communication and how communication can really help you with your mental health your well-being building connections in your life national curriculum it absolutely should and there is a book for that babe is there by me great chat make sure you get it this christmas yes great good i'll give you one i have it and i actually true story gave it to my nearly 15 year old to read i think it's criminal that our children are learning more about money more about communication more about entrepreneurship etc as part of a national curriculum there's loads of extra stuff going on at schools and i think it is fundamental to success particularly with ai coming down the pipes oh my god those skills and communication is yeah going to be so much more valuable than ever so i gave your book oh my god i love this to read and i was like this is what i'm on at you about this is what matters and the art of conversation and communication and curiosity and being interested in other people and having something to say when you walk into a room and striking up a conversation it's just it's just so important yeah I think the most important thing in life is to be interesting and interested right and as long as you're those two things you can get anywhere in life I truly believe that and I think like what you're saying is so true it's so hard to say to kids as well especially right now oh it's good to talk like talk talk talk but we're not teaching them how to talk how to talk or how to advocate for themselves and I can say that about my friends who I sit around with they don't know how to advocate for themselves they don't really know how to share they don't know how to listen like how many times do we sit around from people and we're like baby you're actually listening to me or ask a question or ask a question honestly and don't just ask like how are you because you're just going to get basic answers if you ask enough questions i think anyone and anything can be interesting and i think a skill to find common ground with with somebody is so important you've got to find something that you can chat about and find something better than the weather yeah And also if you sit across from someone for long enough and you ask enough questions and you listen, there'll be something about them where you go, oh my God, that happened to me too.

36:13Or you'll be like, whoa, I can't imagine that ever happening to me. Or wow, that's a great piece of advice. Like everyone's a teacher or a lesson to you. You just got to start talking and you'll find those connections. I listened to something recently. I always say to my children, if in doubt, talk about TV. What you're watching is like a great icebreaker and always sort of gets people going. The other thing I listened to recently was somebody talking about the question, what have you loved this week or what have you done this week that's been great or what are you looking forward to next week and and this person was basically saying that that question was such a good one to ask because the person you're asking that of or to will so remember because they will say something that's personal to them and that conversation will stick yeah yeah if you said what's happening next week that you're really excited about because you've and also you've made them relive a happy memory or something they've done that week so then when they think about you they think about yeah happy things yeah like you know positive emotion yeah so then that plays on it's like if you say to someone what have you been up to lately they're gonna be like i'm just so busy especially right now like we're in the mix of it right like how many times do people go i'm so busy i'm so busy i'm so busy but what have you done this week tell me something you've done this week what's been the most exciting thing that's happened to you lately and people like oh wow let me actually think about that it's so important and people will be like god they're really interesting exactly you know people will think wow like and they've changed the dial a bit because sometimes these things are so boring.

37:34Good chat. My favourite present is conversation cards. You know that. Rapid fire questions on Amazon. You're welcome. They're in an orange pack and they are so brilliant. So we went on holiday this summer and we took my parents and my husband's parents and they're sort of, they get on and actually it was magic because they got on so well. But they're quite different and we were like, gosh, we're going out for dinners and we don't want to just hear the same stories over and over again. So we took these conversation cards. Yeah. And my son Otto would be like, God, the grandparents, they're just not getting it.

38:10They're supposed to be rapid fire. And the question would be like, you know, what's the one place in the world you've lived that you've loved that you'd love to have lived in longer or whatever it was, or the place that you've never lived in that you'd love to. Cue a Hodge monologue. Yeah. And they would just go off on this tangent and have this, and I was like, darling, this is great. Look at the conversation we're having. but it was and cross-generational conversations in our whole oh my god it was so which is so important because we played a game like this in the summer as well I'm going to put it in the show notes because it's the best game I can't remember if it was Ava or Zach couldn't like get it but the point is to then ignite conversation and they kept going okay next and I'm like no no no it's the conversation starter yeah yeah yeah it's the starter exactly but one of them is if you had to choose somebody in your family to bury a party who would you choose oh my gosh it's so good that's a good one James we all said yeah obviously I would choose Tom but I think he would make a real big song and dance about it oh my god my husband would be great he's so thorough he's so good it would take him ages he'd be there with his white but no one's finding that body no one is finding that body it's squeaky watertight it's giving Agatha Christie but I love it it is but what's so great about that as well is I also had this statistic this week which really blew my mind that over half of men have never asked a woman out in real life.

39:30Oh, not our husbands. Can you believe that? We didn't have apps. So this is why we need to be talking about communication because you need to be getting off those apps, darling. And you need to be making those real life connections. And, you know, boys need to be able to talk to girls. Yes. And girls need to be able to talk to boys. Like, let's not advocate for each other more. Yeah. Art of communication. Tune in to the Josh Smith chat show. I love the name. You'll be getting it in mid-January. So get ready. Well done, babe. Subscribe to the podcast now. You've ended up banging 2025. It's been mad.

40:00You've had a great year. You need to tell me how you get these guests. Because I need them. I mean, it's been wild. I mean, doing that live show with Jodie Comer was like the best thing that I've ever done. Love her. And like walking out to the Dalphie Theatre with like 1 ,400 people. Like they'd see it. It's just incredible. Oh my God. And that's what's so good about it. And that's why I love what I do. Because you see that immediate reaction. Yeah. And you see how you can have these really powerful conversations with people and how it affects people. And it trickles out into their lives. and hopefully teaches them new things or encourages them to get out there and have more empowered and confident communication skills and to have conversations.

40:34I know, well done. Amazing, amazing. Proud of you. Proud of you girls. What a year for you guys. Yeah, we've had a great year. Yeah, we've had a great year. Because this is the last team podcast of the year, right? Yeah, 20, 20. So like, what are you proudest of doing this year, girls? It's been a busy year. For ages, I think, Sherlock's, everyone else was sort of over here and we did it our way and some people thought that was cool and they liked it. Others thought, no, no, no, we're just going to head down. And then there was this kind of sort of acceptance that the way we were going was maybe the way others should go and there was a bit of sort of tools down, we're going that way.

41:12And you sort of spend a lot of time looking over your shoulder trying to maintain your position in the industry. And I think this year we've sort of moved into a space again that is really ours, which is combining a media brand, the authority of a media brand with the creator economy and with people. And I don't think there are many other publications, well, there aren't any, where the teams and the people are so well-known and are amplified like they are at SharedArts and put on a platform like they are at SharedArts. I think the way we're combining media with creators has been really exciting this year.

41:50And I feel like we're really clearer than ever. Cleaver than ever that that is our USP. And that goes back to what we were saying a little bit earlier. It's about people, right? People connect with people. And that's why it's so important. That's why you guys are killing it. No, it's been a great year. I feel like we've got real momentum. And just more and more amazing opportunities are opening up. And our team works so, so hard. And they're awesome. And it's so great for everybody to be on that journey. I have to say, every single time I come into this office, it feels so great and I mean I've worked in editorial for like years before I worked for myself and those environments are like scary and you come in here and everyone's so nice it's even like your community out there who listen like whenever I come on the podcast I look at the comments and everyone is so kind and I'm like that says everything about what this brand is and how that filters out yeah and creates this amazing community yeah and the community of our readers and yeah you know the messages that we get I was doing an interview recently and someone and said, what sort of surprised you?

42:50And the mission has always been the same, to connect people with great products and brands and services. But this community that we built, I didn't anticipate. And we've got lots more up our sleeves. What were you proudest of, Harj? I think we've really refined our YouTube strategy this year. Like when I look back in January, where we were to where we are now, we've just streamlined it. We've moved away from having the show format, which was different sort of segments of content set within this package of a show which went out once a week and then we'd have a team pod but that was sort of it for YouTube and then we'd have sort of behind the scenes but now we try and put out content every day and the fashion content stands alone it's not within the show the beauty content stands alone we've really focused a lot on long form video as well we've done some amazing partnerships and we've done a lot of incredible videos with leading ladies and we've started some great new franchises.

43:45We went behind the scenes at Liberty, QVC, Netoporter, ASOS. And I think that's where YouTube is going. So I feel like we're there and we're ready to do some more mega things. Well done, girls. Thank you. And to you. Love that. Yeah, I have to just second that. The video space, the long form video is really exciting. The partnerships we've done. Yeah. No one else would be able to do is because we've got our people and they're the entertainment and the inspiration and we bring in other people in the industry and it's a really, really cool formula and yeah, more and more, more and more. Bring on 26, I'd say.

44:23Yeah, and our podcast we've loved this year, I must say as well. Oh, and I was just going to say, which is super gorgeous and everyone should watch it, we're putting out a home tour of Leoma Harper who has the most beautiful home and it's all of her Christmas decorations and she's just got some really gorgeous, easy tips and tricks to just make it, like, super chic. And then just, like, gorgeous, you know, ribbons around candlesticks, just lovely things that everyone can do. It would be easier if it was just a tree. You know, when I was a child, you had a wreath in a tree. That was it. And I used to hang the Christmas cards off a ribbon for my mother with sellotape.

45:00And they would all fall down. Oh, God, that was a ball. It's all got a bit too much, hasn't it? I know, but it is lovely. If you've got time and you're into interiors and decor, or then I would, it's just really good. I have to thank Chrissy Rocker actually. He said she did all her Christmas shopping by the end of November, which I've pretty much done this time. No, you have not. Laura Black is wrapped and bought. Me too. Sorry, so hold on. Sorry, you've done all of your Christmas shopping. I do have a bit of help. I'm not going to lie. And have you done yours? I've done most of my shopping if I haven't wrapped anything.

45:28Babe, I haven't literally bought a single thing. Not even a dime. Well, we've got children and a lot of God children. A lot of family. oh the god children aren't even gonna get a look at this right cash cash works cash is king i don't know what two-year-old's gonna do with a tenner anything for us better than a piece of they don't want james was out last night and this morning i was voice noting about things i needed to do and i went oh by the way babe thank you are you sure about that ring that is so kind no you didn't you can't bet any more on hodge are you sure let me know because that is so sweet you You're going to have to start going to the gym to keep the strength of these...

46:12So you literally conned him into thinking that drunkenly he agreed to get you a ring. He knows better than that, doesn't he? Because I was going to say, babe, you're going to have to start going to the gym to lift weights so you don't fall over the amount of jewellery you've got. You're going to be weighed down.

46:33Simon Cowell's new Netflix series. I watched this with Mimi last night. Have you watched it? I watched it last night, the first app. Right, it's terrible. No, but my hook is... It's terrible. It's Lauren Silverman. Oh, my God. I love her. So do I. So that's my hook. And I think they really love each other. I know. She was married when they met to a guy called Andrew Silverman, because she's from New York. And they met, and they had, reportedly, they had an affair. And then she left him, started going out with Simon. They became official. She got pregnant with Eric. And they're not married. They're engaged.

47:06so I always when people say her name amazing her he's quite negative because there's this affair and obviously because of like the press there was they seem really sweet so I had never really had an opinion about her and then wow like she's the star of the show yeah so is she like a talent judge now no no no but she is basically well she's involved yeah so the show is he's starting a search for a new boy band they announced the name of the band yesterday and the fan who's in it they're called it's a terrible name it's called December 10 what? it's called December 10 a new boy band no there's seven but it's the day seven it's the date the Netflix series launch that's the worst name I've ever heard for a band December 10 I'm going to constantly think they sing Christmas songs I know terrible anyway but I it was quite nostalgic he was like I K-pop has been crazy the last couple of years and I feel I've got another band in me and I want to show Eric what why I'm me and what made me just go on YouTube darling you don't need to give us December 10 he was like I'm going to put together a band and he gets all of these people on the table Pete Waterhouse oh my god from Pete Waterhouse from Popstars Popstars oh my god Popstars and Rivals you say your handsome we're going to be now if there's going to be a band you need to bring back just bring back here say and you don't need December 10 absolutely not by the way can I just say I think they're in pantos I had their album Babe of course We had the album I think I knew all the words Wasn't it like The biggest selling Debut album of all time Oh my god That's crazy Wow They weren't great I'm actually ashamed Of myself That you got the album I am ashamed of myself I can remember The track listing from that Girls and Al's The Underground Is one thing Yeah Pure and simple Sorry That is still about I listen to that Quite regularly Do you remember the name Because he just sang it I would literally Quite regularly listen To that song Optionally No way Yeah I would their album all the time and their cover of bridge over troubled water was so good do you remember that yes you do i know you do i'm actually blushing now such horrified with myself like a bridge i can hear them i can hear yeah the bridge of like yeah oh my god i was not invested thank god i was so invested but also like i'm sorry simon but no reality tv show talent show looking for a band is anything without Cheryl Cole.

49:31The scream is that he... Or Pete Waterman. Man. So the scream is that he... He puts out... You know, he goes on radio and he puts out a massive poster around the tunnel. And double the plies. And then they're sitting around. They're like, right, who is coming to Liverpool? How many people have we got for the first audition? And this guy is really quiet in the room. And this guy goes... No, but can we say... They've said you need a couple of thousand to sign up. Yeah, for one location. And this guy went, we've got 160. No, 136. And then he said, but only 90 because he had this on in the age range.

50:15Oh, no. So the rest are like your husband or something. I've still got a shot. Oh, good for you, James. You should. And he literally gets up and walks out of the room and he's like, oh fuck I'm really pissed off this could ruin me and then Lauren you know she's off for a tennis or whatever she's doing she comes in and she's like are you okay and then she says no I'm not okay this is a disaster so he goes off she comes into his PA and says what's happening Simon is really upset like she's very like I really like her so she's kind of like but they're very well behaved neither of them throw their weight around no he comes across He does come across as really nice.

50:58It's been absolutely... Canned. Flated, flat as a pancake, flat as Simon's hair. But what I'm really enjoying from it is Lauren Silverman's clothes and jewellery. Right. And amazing foundry neckline. That is on my ultimate wish list. She's my new obsession. I'm actually quite impressed that he kept the failure element in it. At one point he says, I'm actually really worried. And he's like, this isn't for the cameras. For the cameras. and I think but it is for the cameras because they're still rolling darling they are we know what you're doing Simon that bluff double bluff double bluff wink wink we don't feel sorry for you you're 600 mil yeah and then and then someone goes the thing is Simon I don't mean to sound like rude or disrespectful but I just don't think that that age know that you're responsible for One Direction they didn't watch X Factor they don't know who you are basically no one knows who you are just bring back X Factor if you've done that I would give it to him yeah I was quite enjoying it.

51:55So I watched it last night with Mimi. They're having quite a merry time. And then you sent me the notes to the podcast. I was like, I better just see what the general consensus is. I think it's probably not great. And they're like, flat as Simon's hair. Absolutely disaster. Flat as Simon's hair. But it's not because, you know what? It's super nostalgic for us because we grew up with Simon Cowell and X-Factor. So it's a really nice scene behind the scenes. Also, his house is insane. So if you like some house porn, it's your mansion in the castle. I mean, he's a man up to my own heart. They're not allowed to leave kitchen roll out on the surface.

52:27That's also brought up in the making of the bands. I'm with you. We had a dinner party the other day. We had some people helping with the food because I'm not a great cook and I work really hard and I'm a grown-up. There's a lot of people as well. So I got someone to do the food. A friend said he was looking around at one point and he was looking at his watch. Apparently he turned around to Don Lewin and he's like, Don, where's the food? It's nine o 'clock. There's no food. the oven's not on and Tom was like mate it's downstairs Jordan doesn't allow food in the kitchen oh my god I remember you don't allow food in your kitchen the next morning I saw them coming to pick up a plug-in oven so they plugged an oven in downstairs I have got a little kitchen downstairs so they were in the they were in a rusty old basement oh mate I want to come around George's to Christmas dinner it sounds like it would be great and we're not there it's lots of game we're not there I'm not cooking I'll just be in there my own babe don't worry bring your plug in over making the most of your kitchen bring your plug in over don't make a mess no crumbs no crumbs don't make a mess no cooking and I'll leave the kitchen roll out especially for you no cooking please do feel free to take the piss out of me in the comments below no doubt they will anyway that was your celebrity moment your hot topic have you got one I have become this is quite a niche celebrity one but has this is going to sound so weird but I've become obsessed with the Paddington Bear musical.

53:54Have you seen it? No, I want tickets. Guys, I went to go see it. It is one of the most exceptional musicals I've ever been to. And my boyfriend drags me to every musical under the sun. And usually about halfway through, I'm like looking around at like the ceiling being like, that's really nice chandelier. And this one I was so engaged with. There's an actor in the costume. And then there's a person off stage doing a singing voice and the voice of Paddington. and this bear is so real life like we were quite close when that bear was sad i was heartbroken you could see the sadness and the the way they have produced that show the songs are 20 out of 10 they're so catchy she take me for my birthday because i said you need to go you need to go oh i'm not sure no no because it's like adult like it's adult and it's great for kids too my mom if If you're listening, that's good.

54:46Is it Tom Fletcher? Tom Fletcher from McFly's written in songs. But his children's books are amazing. Oh my God, honestly. And the songs are so catchy. There's a whole song about marmalade. I'm not even into marmalade. And I was like, marmalade like this. I was loving it. Marmalade. Yeah, it was so, so good. Yeah, I've heard amazing things. And now I've just become obsessed with following Paddington Bear on Instagram. Like it's like my new influence. So I'm like, oh my God, look at him there. He's on Strictly. like two years to create the costume hasn't it and it's the same person who created the costumes for London 2012 so she is amazing whoever she is shout out to you you're a genius yeah she's a spread because the mechanics in the face and how they do it is just honestly unbelievable you can't believe that seems real yeah we need to go so that's my I don't think you can get tickets babe because we always take the kids on a Christmas day out and we normally do a musical but we were trying to do pantom and we couldn't get tickets so I think you can book for jam book now get them for Christmas present for literally even adults um you'll love it matilda's my christmas shopping yeah matilda's your top top oh no miss doubtfire oh miss nas was so good thanks to you i know oh no moulin rouge is our top moulin rouge oh really oh my god have you seen it yeah i have i thought cabaret was better oh no no i love it's more fun oh god it's so good my hot topic celebrity moment is the premiere of The Night Manager oh yeah literally last night which is back after 10 years yeah it's another one with Tom Tom Hiddleston and Olivia Colman Hugh Laurie Camille Marone isn't it now the hot babe Elizabeth Debecky you play Princess Di you know with the short blonde hair oh I love her I have just started re-watching The Night Manager which came out in 2016 which was the year my that's crazy My youngest daughter was born.

56:40And I remember on winter nights, and she was little and her, it's just, it's really nostalgic. It was so good. Anyway, I woke up this morning to my sibling's WhatsApp room. My brother had posted a picture of the premiere and we were all like, oh my God, cannot wait. So bloody, so bloody exciting. And it's him again, it's Tom. Yeah, and Hugh Laurie. I mean, so I started re-watching it this morning in the gym because I'd be meaning to rewatch it. Okay, yeah. For ages. Like, you know, there are those things that you think, what was it with Maggie Gyllenhaal? That was another one. Or something Scandal.

57:16Oh, that was so good. No, the one that she was in where it was like, that was really good. It was called The Honourable Woman. Woman. Yes, that's it. So good. We were going to do a quiz, but this is as good as it. That, if you can get your hands on that, that was a similar time to... It should be on BCI Play, right? we watched that in Singapore she plays Nessa Stein a woman who inherits her father's Middle East arms business and tries to turn it into a force of peace so good so good so good night manager if you never watched it where have you been anyway premiere was last night and Tom Hiddleston is so good have you seen that dancing thing he does yes oh my god hot yes he is hot he is I saw him in Much Ado About Nothing and he takes his top off and that body is banging wow I know we shouldn't get like subjective about it.

58:07But sometimes it is Christmas. Oh, it's Christmas. And ho, ho, ho. Ho with an E. Ho, ho, ho.

58:19I mean, time flies when you are chit-chatting with Hodge and Josh. But hopefully we've got time for a few listen dilemmas. Before we start your dilemmas, Hodge has got a dilemma. What is it, Hodge? Well, I've sort of gone too early with the Christmas money. And it's starting to chip. But I don't want to get it. It's bad. And you know, when you're off. She's also growing up half your nail. I know. You need to get that redone ASAP. But I've got, you know, it's not real. When you're off to Antigua, I need a break. It's a problem, Josh, you see. Babe, I just need to be honest. but if you're going to Antigua by the time you get by the time you get to Antigua they're literally going to be tips no no no I'll definitely no when does she go again I'll take it on before I go to Wales for Christmas oh they don't deserve good nails well poor old Welsh I mean you said it not me she is actually Welsh my poor man we missed the Welsh on a survey once they were furious so you're not going to have a nice Christmas nail they don't deserve nice nails in Wales well I'm not going to have time to have them done between Christmas to the 23rd of December and Boxing Day answers on a postcard leave them in the comments below what should Hodge do do I just I've got some with me today in my own do a little top up I'll do it for you I used to do everyone's nails at school I did you yeah list I love it I love you've got time for that but thanks well answers below what should Hodge do I think Hodge should do a little top up herself yeah and get them done on the 22nd and take those nice nails to your mum for Christmas honestly I haven't brought you in my house with dodgy nails on Christmas day Well, they'll be no...

59:57They'll be bare. They'll be bare. Yeah, exactly. They'll be bare, because they need a break. They're shellacked out. Are you going bare? Are you frantic? Wow. Look out, Antigua. Yeah. She's going bare back. Well, this is gripping chat, isn't it? Okay. No, I'm so gripped. Ripping onto the sofa. Do tell us about your jeans again. What happened? Don't worry, I got them. You got them? I was worried. That was it. Okay, a few quick dilemmas. I love this. A gift for a friend who has everything. Oh, wow. Presents is a present. We got time. Time. I think someone... Me. Yes. Give me in a bow. Stunning. I think that would be such a cute look.

1:00:46I just imagine myself turning up dressed as a present at my best friend's house being like, here's your present. You've got a whole night in my diary just for you. But I actually think the best thing to do for someone who has everything is give them an experience. So like when we're talking about giving people time, like take them to the theatre, book those tickets, do those things. We just got you a spa voucher. Oh, you did. That was heaven. Heaven. Yeah. A lovely, very lovely, kind girl got me a very, very nice treat. Well, I think the gift for the friend that has everything has to be a Kelly Hobbit candle.

1:01:22To be honest. Or a pair of socks. Or a pair of socks. Or some pair of socks. Yeah. Yeah. What is your favourite way? If you're watching this, go back to the beginning and drink a shot of tequila every time we say Kenny Hoppen. Kenny Hoppen's candle. I think we're going to end on a high. Oh. Also, I'm so glad we got to do this together for the first time. I know. How did you find the experience? Would you recommend it to a friend? I would, I think. Yeah. Think. I'll prepare some feedback. Oh, can't wait. V-Bout is the breakfast of champions there you go you're welcome I've given you one too it's been a wonderful exchange of advice that is it for today thank you Josh I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with you and you of course always always thanks for listening I hope you followed that I know Christ I feel sorry for the editor anyway have a wonderful Christmas thanks for listening wherever you are do please rate, review leave us a comment there were lots of questions that came up yeah what should Hodge do about her nails leave a comment below and we'll be back very soon yeah see you in 2026 woo thanks
