0:28This week on the LuxGen group chat, we talk about King Kylie's 2016 era comeback. Anything for King Kylie. She used to be like my phone wallpaper. Did she? Back in like 2011. And I can actually really understand. I can see this. The Charlie XCX movie, we will not be missing. And the music. Shouldn't she release any new songs? Surely. Can you surely do the soundtrack for the film? And finally, all of the beauty we are swapping in this season. Well, maclip liners are always the best, but in the shade root for me. so I've usually been like a chestnut girl but Root for me is like a mixture between like a brown and a purple.

0:58It's a fun one, don't miss it. Welcome ladies, back to the group chat podcast. How are we? Good. This week I'm joined by India and Anna. We haven't had this duo in a while. No, I've never done a podcast with you. I feel like I always do a podcast with you. Yeah, I feel like Anna and I are always doing it. Yeah, I love listening to you guys. It's been a while since I've done it with you, Daisy. Yes, Anna, this is our first pod. Is it? I'm loving everyone's vibe today. Yeah, we're going for a cool shake. We've all gone quite different, I like it. India, kick us off. Emma said earlier that I'm giving like a Hype House TikTok lie, which I actually see, but like I've kind of feminized it.

1:33So I'm wearing these Steve Madden biker boots. And then... I love those. How high up are they? They're like up to here. Yeah, nice. So it's like the perfect length. And it's always like really nice with a skirt or shorts. Light blue jeans on. I've actually got a hole in the crotch. You had them on last time I was on the back of my life. Indeed you gave it to me. My sewing skills are unbelievable. I'm actually a great sewer, but I think I want to patch it up with like a different material just to make it different. And then I've got this long seat top on from Brandy Melville. Lovely. It's so warm.

2:00And then this hat is new. It's from a Japanese brand called Be Beautiful. Oh. Yeah, so it's like B dot beautiful. Beautiful with a dot after the B. Love it. But yeah, it's like a tartan, red, blue, white situation and I think it's really cool. It's got beautiful on the sides. It's got a heart somewhere. Oh, I haven't seen that. Love. Oh yeah, I can see that. I'm wearing, I'll start from the top. Glasses are from H &M. I have had these for so long, but they're like my favorite. Work glasses. This I bought ages ago. It's like a fisherman style turtleneck jumper from Stone Island. I actually got it.

2:34I love that, dude. You got the patch. You have to show everyone the patch. Yeah, like came into work and I'm like, no one must. It's getting colder, so I thought I'll try this on today. But it got this from vintage, and it was like, so like half the price of what you've got in retail. And then my linen trousers, I think these are ASOS. I just love a linen trousers. It doesn't matter what the weather is outside, I will still be wearing linen trousers. And I do have a little skirt on. I love that. You need to get that out. I know, sorry, can we see that? Yeah, I like that, get it out for the pod.

3:02Yeah, and I said, this is from HNAM. I got it in the summer as well, but I just thought layering. It's my favorite thing to do in the winter. And then my shoes are ASOS from their Arrange range. Well, that's hard to say. Arrange range. Like a suede brown, and yeah. All your nails are looking very good. I will go like this, because I'm missing this one. They're so cool. But yeah, no, I got these in a pop-up actually in Battersea Power Station. You got them? Yeah, like they're stick-on. Sorry, I should have rested. I bumped my hands in Battersea Power Station. What's the brand? Paws Up Studio. Okay.

3:30They look really nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're like good nails. And like, I'm an acrylic girl who threw them through and I was like, I just can't keep living this life. I need to do something else. It's too expensive. It's too high maintenance. I've actually stopped gels and nails now. Really? I'm like, who has the time to be sitting in the nail shop for two hours? Yeah, it takes so long. So I just, I saw these, took me literally like five minutes to come on an hour. I'm gonna jump on that. And they're so cool. But I think she is based actually normally in Portobello Road, but she was just in Best Apparel.

3:56Okay, we'll tag them below. Yeah, that's really cool. Cause I'm gonna pick them up. And then yeah, I think that's me. What were you? I have got pinstripe navy, like kind of suit trousers. They've got a bit of a waistband, which is quite cool. They're from Zara. I've got my favorite ever find from the Dubai outlet mall. So good. JW Anderson. Look, they're like, for those that aren't watching, those listening, they're a backless black loafer with a huge chain on the top. Yeah, it's a bit much. They're a bit of a man repeller. I can see guys on the tube. Guys on the tube look at them like, ooh. Don't want to mess with her.

4:27And then I have got this lovely little phone. This is Charlotte Simone. Obviously, it's quite an investment, but I thought I will get its cost per hour. Yeah, definitely. It is now officially coat season. I did the wardrobe swap at the weekend. Did you? Have you done it yet? No, I need to do that. No, I think I'm going to do it this weekend. I was like, because I've been staring at my wardrobe for ages and I haven't been able to find things quite easily for work. But I know I've got clothes. So I just need, anyway, I got it all out. I put a podcast on and did it at the same time. Tar stacking or something.

4:55When you listen to a pod and do it at the same time. Yeah, I do that a lot. When I'm cleaning my room, I have something on YouTube or a podcast. It's the only way. When I'm doing my dishes, podcast on or YouTube. It's just easy. It makes you more productive. My sister always says that whenever she has to do something like clean the house, she'll invite a friend over just to sit and talk to her. Oh, really? And she gets it done so much quicker when she just has someone else there, but when it's her own. Yeah, I can relate. I can relate. That's a bit too much for me though. I'd like to clean by myself, but not in silence.

5:24I feel like it's a bit boring when you're doing it in silence. Also, I just hop on my bed, go on my phone. That's why I need something. Also, another top tip, don't take your shoes off. When you walk through the door, when you get home, just keep your shoes on. Really? Because you will literally just blitz everywhere, because then you'll take the shoes off. There's something about it. When you take your shoes off, you're just instantly on the side. Yeah. I can't walk around my house without slippers on. Really? like bare feet in my house. Forget it. Yeah. No, it's slipper season now. Yeah, it's getting a bit cozy.

5:50That's the one thing I feel. I didn't sort of invest in like a nice pair of slippers for a while. And then as soon as I did, it just transforms your whole quality of living. Oh my God. I can't like Christmas time is used where I get like a new pair and like I have them for like going into the new year. So it's my favorite time. Zara Home do great slippers. Okay, good. Brilliant.

6:12Okay, moving on to the hot list. I feel like we have a lot to talk about. We touched base, didn't we, yesterday? So much has gone on, yeah. So much. To kick us off, the Victoria's Secret show. Who watched it? I watched more clips of it. Same. Because I feel like it comes a little bit later for us, though, doesn't it? Yeah, I watched it the next day. I was, like, falling asleep. So I was like, I put it on a bit, and then I was falling asleep, and I had to just turn it off. It did feel like proper OG bombshell vibes. But then they really, I like the way they mixed in athletes, creases this year.

6:38Yeah, so cool. Although the modeling industry are up in arms. Yeah, I've seen people aren't happy about the fact that non-models were involved in the show. But I feel like that's the whole point of the Victoria's Secret show. Or it has become in more recent times. I don't know about you. I am not interested in looking at completely unattainable beauty. I do think Victoria. Yeah. And, you know, the model industry are saying, oh, well, we wouldn't go for an Olympic gold. Well, it's not. Well, that's not the same. No, it's not the same. That's absolutely not the same. But also, you could totally argue now that like how important is it to like the Bella Hadid's of the world to participate, I know she did, in the Victoria's Secret show.

7:11Yeah. Whereas like think how much more of like a big deal this could be to like say people like athletes and other people who don't get these opportunities I feel like it's a nice in for them and that's what we should appreciate not the fact of like well we've seen these faces yeah for years and years and years and years yeah and I think I think they fail obviously because they've worked so hard to get themselves on yeah it's like why you know why should it just be given to these other people but we've moved on now yeah and I think also it's nice for like to see athletes on that sort of stage because just in general a lot of female athletes seem to be like masculinized.

7:44And so seeing this other side of them, which you probably wouldn't usually see because Angel Reese is a basketballer. You probably see her in her kit most of the time. Same as Sonny Lee, just in her leotard. It's nice to see them in like something a bit more flirty and a bit more girly. Don't get me wrong, like the Victoria Secret OGs, you can tell they are, right? They walk up and I was like, wow. It's the confidence, the strut. Like they will always be the Victoria Secret girls. It's just nice to sprinkle in a bit more. And I feel like the whole showing now of it is more of like an entertainment thing.

8:14Yeah, exactly. The performers and like how they walk. It's not like a - It's not like a New York Fashion Week show where you're going for the clothes. And I feel like that's what we should enjoy. And actually that's the bits we're interested in. Like how to watch who's performing. The snippets on TikTok the next day. Madison Beer. She was incredible. Oh my gosh. I'm now a Madison Beer fan. Wow. She's like so good. How does someone look like that? No, I saw TikTok that it was like a montage of all these different like men being asked I was like, oh, who's like your celebrity crush? Whatever. Every answer, Madison Beer.

8:42And I was like, you know what? Sign me up, pick me in that TikTok, Madison Beer. Madison Beer. Me too. She's unreal. I'm no better than a man. Like, I love her. She's freaking amazing. Like, you could walk, like, look, sorry. I need to cut them down. Like, you could genuinely sit and watch her and be like, who crafted this beautiful woman? Because when I was watching the show, they did interviews pre-show and they were talking to her like on the red carpet about her performance. And like, genuinely, I just, the whole time I was just staring at my screen. Yeah, wow. And her music was actually good.

9:09Who else performed? I only saw her. Missy Elliott. And Carol G. Missy Elliott's performance was insane. And there was a clip of Law Roach, Jodie Turner, and someone else on the sidelines. And they were really, really getting into it. It was so good. They looked so good as well. I don't know, that whole performance was insane. And obviously, they had to bring out Lars, save the best, most iconic woman for Lars. But then Carol G as well, her performance was so sultry and very nice. That's when Emilia Gray came out in the dress that had like the new back. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Was it all women who performed then?

9:41Yeah. One thing that did concern me slightly was Bella Hadid and her wings. You had the weight of 50 pounds. She was really struggling. Yeah. I even saw her Instagram post maybe like yesterday and she made like a note to it in her caption. But she basically was just like insinuating like, I love this show, like I don't know, I enjoyed it so much kind of thing. So she's obviously is fine. But it was visible. I honestly thought she was gonna faint. Oh no, really? You know, these wings looked heavy. And also, hasn't she just been struggling with Lyme seeds? Yeah, she's been ill, hasn't she? Yeah, like bless her.

10:13She's been in hospital for a while. Yeah, I mean, they could have probably chosen someone else for the 50 pound wings. Yeah, like guys, there's so many other women in the show. Yeah, like bless her. She looked unbelievable. But she looked insane. Again, she walked out and I was like, wow. Yeah, literally. And even like Barbie Ferreira was in it from Euphoria. She looked insane. Talking of performances, did you see Billie Eilish get dragged into the crowd. Like I had to watch her like three times but like where did she go? She got like dragged and then she was released and then continued to perform it.

10:43It was someone, she was wearing a red bandana. This girl managed, her reactions were way quicker than her security guards and she has now been given free tickets for life. No way. You know now she has like 100k followers. No, no, 700 ,000. And she started on like four. She had like six or something. What? Yeah, from saving Billie Eilish's life. That really upset me the way someone just thought they could just pull her like that. And I think also she hadn't been on stage for a while. And then this was like her, not her first performance back, but like it was one of the first she'd done in a wee while.

11:14And she came out and then that happened to her. But then she just carried on as well. Like how do you fight the urge to not? Well, I think the girl in the red bandana was amazing. I still understand why you do that in the first place. Like if you're there at the like barriers, you're obviously a fan of the artist. And like what do you gain from it? Do you think she's gonna come and be like, Hey babe, how are you? Enjoying the show? People just taking jokes a bit too far. Like, that's not even a joke. But I've seen clips before of her going across the barrier and people have not let go of her. Yeah, like, not.

11:41I feel like that happens to a lot of artists where like people will literally grab them. Because people start to view them as like not actual humans or they don't have like feelings or, you know, they're not like attainable people. But like, you know what I mean? Like, and then they think they can do these things to people. But it was just so aggressive. It wasn't like a walking person, like a tug. It was like, she was yanked. I was a guy. He would have been so... Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just don't understand why you would do that in the first place if you were a film. I don't know, really weird. Weird behavior.

12:07Very weird behavior. Kylie Jenner, King Kylie is back. 2016 is back. Kylie's team are engineering a comeback. No, they know what they're doing. Love King Kylie and her music as well. I'm not gonna say it's my favorite song ever, but I love the way that she, I just loved it all. I think people are taking it a bit too seriously because obviously she's not gonna be a musician. People are like, this is so bad. Yeah, but she's doing it for the nostalgia. Just calm down. Like Kylie Breeze. She's having some fun. This is the whole point of it. And Kris Jenner even made an appearance in the music video as well.

12:39Oh, did she? I haven't seen it. I actually haven't seen it. I can't. Oh my God. Kris Jenner reminds me of my own mother and I feel like it's just hilarious. I'm Kylie. Kris is my mom. I need to meet any mother. Anna, you kill me. But you know she was Forbes' youngest self-made billionaire. Incredible. As she should be. How nuts is that? And like her makeup is actually good. Like it actually is good. Oh yeah, her skin tint. Amazing. I'm raised by her skin tint. Lip liners. I actually dropped mine on the way to Sainsbury's the other day and it was like, no one moves. My Kylie lip liner is on the floor.

13:09I'm going to find my lip liner. No one's leaving. And the fact that it was all done through Snapchat. Incredible. That marketing, so reactive. So good. And like what a way because Snapchat, they're trying. Do we think though it is going to come back? Well, I don't know. She's obviously older. She's got like two kids now. Like she's in a different era of her life. And that era was like blue hair. Yeah. It was so crazy to what she is now. Matte purple lipstick, Kylie Lips. But do you remember the hype guys? No, that's true. Do I remember when the lip kits came out? Oh my gosh, I was crying. I remember some of my girlfriends were shipping them.

13:43Yeah, yeah, yeah. People went crazy. I had to ship them. Paying so much in shipping just to receive. I actually think I had the black one and I thought it was gonna rock it. Didn't, obviously. But I just had it because I probably was the one left and stuck it out. Oh my God, I guess something. Yeah, I know, it was not my, but anything for King Kylie. She is just, she was like, she used to be like my phone wallpaper. Did she? Back in like 2011. And I can actually really understand. I can see this. But I actually think it's more the nostalgia. Yeah, I don't think it's coming back to say it's gorgeous.

14:11Any brand that can work in nostalgia to their strategy just wins everyone over. Oh my God, it does. Because like, it's people like us that I feel like we're no longer like, to the people who would be marketing someone, say from like 2016, we are the people you would want to be marketing to. The people who are that age now maybe wouldn't get it quite as much, but we see that and we're like, oh my God. And the fact that it was on Snap. Bring it back. I'm so sad. And that was our era of being on Snap as well. I mean, I don't know. Actually, sitting next to Poppy makes me feel... Like, makes me feel...

14:41She still uses Snapchat. She is fucking up snapping all day, every day. I use it for select people. I don't talk to all my friends about it. There's probably three friends that I just entertain on Snapchat. But the streaks and all of it. And like, I remember you used to go away on holiday and be like, right, who's taking my streets? You have to give someone your login to be like, oh, I'm taking over her streets. I only keep mine now just for the memories. But apparently now they're bringing it back. You have to start paying. You have to see your memories. I know guys, I might have to do it because I have some howlers on there.

15:07Same, same. Absolute howlers. Like gold. My whole university life is on that. Low-key, I would pay like two pound 99 a month. Just to keep my memories. I think I'd pay seven. I've got some. I think I'd be 10. I'd pay 15. King Kylie's back. Bring back the mannequin challenge. Lux bringing back the mannequin challenge. Bring back all those old challenges. What else? Remember the plank challenge? Oh, the ice bucket challenge. That came back for the whole bunch. My name's Chantal. Do you remember that? What were the challenges from 2016? Do you remember? Do you remember the like ice on salt? Oh, when were you freeze?

15:39Mannequin challenge. Oh, mannequin. Dantale is a real crowd pleaser. Did you guys do it in your school? Yes! Yes, and then it was like battle of each year. You were like, who could do it the best? No, ours was in the gym. Like, so weird. Yeah, changing rooms. We did ours. a squash court and we all were like, okay, we've got to do it in here because no one had done it there. But then you'd pan and someone would be in the shower, like fully closed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The person filming that was always like elite because it was like, it was always amazing. And I bet now they are thriving on TikTok.

16:08Yeah. You can make a good TikTok. We did it on Christmas Day, a family Christmas Day one as well. She went around the whole Christmas table and then you'd have someone like pouring a drink and the wine would just be overflowing. And then the granny's like, what the hell is going on? Yeah, but the granny would be fully briefed. Like, I don't know if she's frozen. I actually think we should, I really think we should do one. Maybe we do an office one. What is with guys? There was a phase in lockdown where they would just down pints. Yeah, I did do that on my Snapchat. And then I'd tag on the boys.

16:40I fancy. Oh my God. No way. I had a boyfriend. I didn't do that. People would do that. God, there were so many. So many. But the plank challenge, I remember that at school was, that was, yeah. People got creative. Like, People are on the top of multi-stories. Gosh, I forgot about that. You unlocked a serious memory. Okay, TV. Yeah. The Charlie XCX movie, The Moment. So cool. I love her take on so many things. I love her production mind. And I think it's so good for people who are in that industry who have a mind like that because you can really tell with people when they're not reactive or they don't do stuff in their own way.

17:13She does. Down to the way that she does her show, carries herself, speaks, talks, dresses, everything. So I set it for the movie. Apparently Kylie Jenner is really good. Yes, she is. Yeah, Kylie. Yeah. I'll do that. I'll do that. But apparently it follows, does it follow her? No, it follows an artist. Yeah, okay. Coming into the limelight. Yeah, coming into, like stepping into the music industry for the first time and doing her biggest ever show. Yeah. So it's sort of like the pressures that comes with new artists. Yeah. And I feel like so topical right now. Which kind of, and also it's what happened to her.

17:44Yeah, that's what happened to her. Yeah, that should be. And the music, she'll release any new songs. Surely. That would be sweet. Can you surely do the soundtrack for the film? Oh, 100%. There's also, apparently, it's supposed to be another Ocean's 8, Ocean's 11. I saw this, so cool. With George Clooney, I think it's coming back into it. Matt Damon will be back. I think those are the only two confirmed actors at the moment, but that's in the works. So apparently it's been confirmed and it's gonna start filming within the next year. Amazing. So that'll be sick. And I've not seen George Clooney in anything for a hot minute.

18:14So I'm very excited for this. I really like it. Yeah, I know, Ocean's 8's good, I love that. And I haven't watched Bridgerton. I haven't watched Bridgerton either. Neither, but season four is coming out. Season four is coming out. I have some friends that are like, I've been waiting for you to watch it. I do feel like I just never really jumped on, I never jumped on the bandwagon. Now I regret it because. Same, I hate not being involved in things that we're talking about. And all the memes and everything. Like, I love it. It's me. Yeah. I don't know what's going on. Good luck anyone not watching Traitors right now.

18:38Oh, can't wait. I literally sort of wake up and I'm like, oh, maybe it Wednesday. We're nearly Wednesday. It's not happening today, I don't know what it is. But nine o 'clock is so annoying. Isn't it? It's my bedtime. Yeah, same. But it's quite good because I kind of race myself to be ready for bed. Yeah, same. But how much can I do? And it's like, jump in bed. We're ready for bed. And then you're like, shit, I forgot to wash my teeth. So annoying. Yeah, I know. I do agree.

19:05Okay, moving on to things we're loving. Should we chat, Beauty? What's everyone been purchasing? I have recently just purchased. They're from the Inkey List. And I think they come in like a step two. And there are like these pads that you can use, take your makeup off, you can travel in the washing machine. They're double-sided. So you get, well, one, two, three, four. And does that do your whole face? Because I sometimes worry. Yeah, yeah, exactly. And I wear like five coats of mascara. So like it takes long to get off. But you literally just put water on it, which was not going to convince me.

19:32And it really does. And it takes off well and does a really good, obviously double cleanse afterwards. But the good surface level really comes off so well. Okay, that's good. Because I'm trying to get off using like micellar water, those like pads you just chuck in the bin. so it's so much easier to do. That's good. Yeah, that would be mine. Love that. India. So I went shopping with my dad on the weekend and there's this really cool concept store in Brick Lane called Goodhood. Oh, I've heard of that. I love it when you go. He was like, oh, this is the only place that does this perfume that I like.

19:58So I was like, oh, let's go. And he was like, oh, try this. So it's this Comme des Garcons. It's called Concrete and it's unisex. Cool, love. But it's like, I don't wear fragrances. I don't really like fragrances. Oh yeah, I do remember you saying this. I don't wear perfume. but that is one I will actually wear really it's a bit of an investment but the bottle the shape of it is so cool obviously it's come to gas on yeah yeah and it smells insane I can't even explain what it smells like but it smells like concrete but like in the best way possible it's called concrete gift with it yeah it'll be a really good gift like for yourself yeah yeah and just I just love it so much and also that shop is just a really cool yeah really cool I've seen like them on Instagram yeah I just love men's fragrances yeah absolutely i love how it's like it doesn't smell too masculine it's like masculine enough for men but like not too masculine for women so yeah tom ford orchid as well that's i don't actually know if it's male or female but i love it i like i would actually harry styles is brand pleasing yeah their fragrances so good the one that's like the blue bottle with the orange top it's like unisex okay me and my boyfriend both share and we both love it i don't know he had a fragrance yeah i know yeah love that olaplex's new hair mask oh i don't know if you've seen it or heard of it they do twos they do like a extra nourishing one and then one that's sort of more for probably finer hair like mine and it lasts up to five washes but it just detangles it honestly makes your hair feel amazing i put it in on your hair looks saturday night yeah i put it on saturday night and it just it's given me such a refresh oh yeah jen was talking about this the other day yeah yeah yeah yeah they're really good i've struggled to find a good hair mask but i feel like this is a big tub it's like yeah like a sort of yeah you can get yeah oh definitely you could I'm sure you could get about 10 washes from it.

21:41Probably more. Oh my God, so good. I'm also loving the MAC. Well, MAC lip liners are always the best, but in the shade Root For Me. So I've usually been like a chestnut girl, but Root For Me is like a mixture between like a brown and a purple. It's really nice. I've got it on now. I just put it on with just a lip balm. So I usually just put it on with a lip balm, line my lips and just blend it in a bit so it's a bit darker. But yeah, super easy to put on. It lasts the whole day. That's what it does. It lasts the whole day. Like literally, I don't need to top it up that much. Even though I will bring it with me, but I actually don't need to top it up.

22:08So yeah, it's perfect. Just going on from MAC actually, they have like a shimmery bronzer and I can't remember what it's called. So annoying. But it's perfect for this time of year because I feel like when your skin's looking a bit more dull, you're not going to tan on and it gives you a bit of a pick me up. Yeah, it's nice. Oh, one more. Fenty Beauty Brown Mascara. Oh, I love brown mascara. I've converted. I think I've been about six months brown mascara now. Really? Yeah, I won't go back to black. Yeah, because I wear the Maybelline Lash Sensational one And it's like more of the burgundy one.

22:38So rogue for mascara. But black is too harsh on me now. So like a brown burgundy vibe. I love like a dark black mascara. I literally will coat. Sometimes I feel like I'm ruining my lashes. But you don't wear it every day. And then when you do, India's lashes look incredible. I don't really put it on that much. But when I do, I literally just like lather it. That's when we know she's going, oh wow. That's when we know.

23:06next segment we are going to talk about a feature that we are all obsessed with right now and that is google gemini if you're a student and you're listening to this podcast we're basically going to break down exactly why you should be using it and some of the coolest features i had this when i was in uni i was thinking the exact same thing yeah exactly and if you have a.ac.uk email address so you're at university yeah you can get it free for a whole year no way yeah google gemini pro plan we're going to start with gemini's unlimited chat image upload so this is really cool we've seen lola use it in the office yeah no basically you can take a photo of anything and upload it into google gemini and it will break things down step by step task by task so just to give you some examples so say you've actually got a physical maths problem yeah but you don't want to just get the answer straight away you actually you know because that's really we should be using ai to help guide us not just give us the answer it will literally break down exactly how to get to the the answer in a way that will allow you to learn.

24:00I love that. That's also the way I learned best as well. Yeah, yeah, just like how did I get to that instead of just giving the answer. Because then you remember it so much. Yeah, you do. And sometimes you do just need to know. You need to get to the crux of it, don't you? Exactly. So other ways you could use it, you could be in an interior store and you've got a photo of your bedroom already. You can upload a photo of your bedroom, then upload a photo of what's in the shop. And I guess you could also do it like you're in a food shop and take a picture of maybe like a couple of items you've picked up and what can I make with this?

24:26great for uni as well because your budget's tight. What's in your cabinet? When you're actually straight from the end of the month and you're like, gosh, what can I make? Yeah, I know shop's open. Because often you can. There will be something. Yeah, that's so clever. And you get unlimited image uploads with this plan. So you can just do it every day, all day. Love that. So basically it's like getting advice from your smartest friend. Oh, yeah. That's such a good way of putting it, isn't it? And it's so true. But it's basically like having a study buddy so you should be definitely using it in the library.

24:54Yeah, definitely. Yes, 100%. That would be so helpful. Okay, this one I think would be really good for university or A-levels or GCSEs, but the quiz feature. So Google Gemini can make quizzes out of anything to test your learning. Oh, that's perfect. I would do that myself. That used to be how I used to do flashcards. Same. But I actually spent way too long writing the flashcards. I really enjoyed designing them and just making them look pretty as opposed to actually learning. Exactly. So I've actually done one. I think we should do. And this is a fun one, but obviously you can use it for revision and that kind of thing.

25:25but I've done a 2025 pop culture quiz. Oh God, here we go. And it's so good because it literally breaks it all down. It has A, B, C and D and then you can click and then it tells you. Oh, I love multiple points. Also imagine this for like your driving test or something. Oh, I didn't even think of that. I didn't even think of that. I failed my driving test five times, you know. Anna. Okay. I didn't have you down for that, really? Did you pass your theory straight away? I know it took me a couple, but I had to drive and test. Fine. Apparently that means you're smarter. Apparently the... Really? I'm a great driver now.

25:53I hope so. Okay, are we ready? What was the name of the viral social media challenge in 2025 that involved users posting videos of themselves attempting to recreate a complex 15 second choreography set to a remix of a classic 90s R &B song? Was it A, the flip switch, B, the rewind routine, C, the sync step, or D, the echo dance? I think B. Okay, the rewind routine. No, it was A, the flip switch. Which beloved animated Disney film originally released in 2002 released a highly publicized adaptation this year? Was it A, Lilo and Stitch? B, The Emperor's New Groove? C, Atlantis? Or D, Treasure Planet?

26:30Is it Lilo and Stitch? Yes. Yes it is. I do. Good at this. But how good is this? So good. This could be on the periodic table. Exactly. Photosynthesis? Yes. Formation of a waterfall? It's brilliant. Or like quotes for like English students. Oh yeah. Literature. If there's like things that you need to include in your essays. So good. And I'm sure you could probably, You could probably say what exam board you're with as well. Maybe say take it from this AQA or whatever. So true. God, that's clever. Clever. Okay, this one's quite a fun one. This is for the creators. Okay. But for us, basically. Gemini image generation.

27:07So we can literally take a photo of ourselves and put ourselves anywhere in any outfit. Like Halloween's around the corner. Maybe we can see ourselves in different Halloween outfits. Before you even go, so you know which one. You know which one is. Have you actually seen that funny trend where people are doing it of like their parents, putting them so they're like dressing them up in an outfit they're framing it and then they're walking into a random store and they're just putting it down and then they're like oh mom why are you why are you in that frame and it's them dressed as like you know a viking or something and they're literally so confused that's so funny that's so funny you can even use that and like do it for like trends that you see yeah and then also you can take it a step further with vo3 and they create it into a video oh my gosh i feel like i love doing the video versions of these things nowadays and the quality is actually nuts yeah like if you want to try a new hairstyle but weren't sure before that is such a good point yeah just put it in but also you know if you're at university and that kind of thing you're a student say you're presenting an idea you often had to do things you could just present it as a video yeah you know it's a way of like you know if you've got an idea and you don't really know how to articulate it put it in vo3 present it as a video like you're gonna you're gonna win people over yeah i guess if you're a visual learner that's so much better and like easier just to yeah information yeah that's unreal yeah i really really really really wish i had that i know it's actually a game changer yeah so basically if you're ever in a situation where you need to call on your most intelligent friend yeah you need to go with google gemini 100 amazing well that was so much fun that was so much fun we had a lull didn't we i feel like i needed that tuesday vibes i feel like i've got some energy now yeah same go finish the rest of the day but for those listening or for those watching if you're on your little walk right now if past stacking yeah if you're if you're task stacking right now don't forget to subscribe thank you so much and we will see you next week
