If you're not worth sacrificing, me being free, like I can run off to California and I don't have to text someone or be like, I should return in like a few weeks because he'll want to go on a date with me. It's just you. It's like, it's me and it's my girlfriends and like, when am I going to be 25, single, with my girlfriends in London ever again? Yes. Oh my gosh, you're going to have to slot in, pal. Back to the girlies actually, sorry. This episode has a little bit of everything, so stay tuned.
0:31Hello and welcome back to the LG Group Chat. I'm your host Poppy and I'm joined today by Emily Beeney and Angelina. Okay, so before we get into it, we have got a lot to talk about. We've just been debriefing about everything before we even start. What are we wearing today, guys? We always start with our outfits. So Emily, do you want to kick us off? It's flannel season. It is flannel season. It's autumn, it's fall. And so, yeah, dressed in a flannel. This one's from Weekday. It's the men's section. It's so nice. So good. Yeah, I've, for the last few years, been very stuck on the, like, square shirt.
1:03And now I'm starting to go back into the round ones. Ooh. The little scoopy scoops. And it's so versatile too. It's a big change, yeah. And then a little t-shirt. These are Variety. I love those. Ooh, there's such a nice texture. You've seen, like, the big camo shorts everyone's been wearing. Oh, my gosh. Same brand. Okay, I need to get some of those. And they've got the adjustable ankle. Yeah. Yes, adjustable. So if it's raining, I can... Easy. Oh, that's so good. Don't get it on the ground. That is a trouser. The bottoms of my jeans are just destroyed. Exactly. That's my problem. And then Steve Madden tabbies.
1:30Oh, so good. And then that's my favorite. And then this is from the vintage store. Guys, I bought 15 bandanas for one pound from the vintage store. Because they just put them all in like packs. Wow. I need that. So don't be buying those 15 pound bandanas. It's charity shops forever. Yeah. So good. Exactly. What are you wearing? Today, I'm wearing some print. I've got these tiger print trousers on from Zara. Love those. And then I've got this just like high racer neck vest on from Topshop. I actually really like their basics. Yeah, pretty good. This one's like a good thick material. Necklace is from ASOS Design.
2:04Love it. It's like a long tassel-y one. And then, ooh, everything else. We've kind of got on. Earrings are from Bershka. Just some silver hoops. And then a bunch of rings from literally everywhere. Nice. I love it. Oh, and my flats are from Shadavarius. Classic little black ones. I love those ones. You always wear them when I'm upset. They look like the Chanel ones. I know. Yeah, they do. I love them. but puppy you also got a crinkle outfit on thanks I've got a gray off the shoulder I have this top in pink it's from Zara and I wear them all the time it's perfect for the time of year when you're like I want to be light and floaty because it's a little bit hot but it's also quite covering so it's like a lot off the shoulder number and then I've got these jeans from Zara love a Zara jean and then my new cobalt blue suede ballet flats from Ballaret you know that new I love Ballaret I need to go there.
2:50So many nice colours, patterns, styles. My heeled ballet flats are from there and they're so comfy. Okay, guys, Ballarat trip soon. Yeah, and then I've got my brand new necklace from Bella Christie jewellery. Love their stuff. So nice and this bangle as well. I'm obsessed. And I wore it all the time in the scene on Holland Lane. It didn't go green. Come on. That's what I need. That's what I love.
3:12Okay, team. I was a Disney and Nickelodeon fan as a child. Have you seen they are releasing a spin-off to Victoria's good Hollywood Arts? Oh my gosh, yes. Starring Trina Vega Chicago
3:26She was an icon Underrated as a character Sister like that's who I wanted to be as an older sister I used to watch I used to think oh like not sure about her now I'm older I'm like icon She's so me and then mr. What's the teacher again? He's back. Yes, I know I can't I've seen the trailer okay i'm not sure how i feel because i love it for the nostalgia what it's bringing that they've actually got some of the iconic characters back and tory is meant to be this like major mega celeb at this point in time i think we all sing i think we all sing so she's gonna i am a little bit like guys be so for real like another sequel no i'm like be so for real they made tory the one that's made it like yeah in real life like be no it is you know it should have been cat or andre Andre was like let's all be honest the most talented just as well at the time Ariana has like done so much work and been most talented but at the time Andre he was doing it yeah either of you seen the trailer first impressions do you like it do you think it feels too similar too different I get it like I guess when we have so many sequels now right so I think it makes sense like what else are they going to do she's like a teacher like she's come back as like a teacher there or something which like let's be so real she was never getting a job there but yeah like that feels a bit random but i kind of like that whole like new generation of kids what happens but i keep they hope they keep the same spirit and energy of victoria's because it was just such a random but such a fun show i saw a tiktok the other day that said i'm so glad that i was the generation that got to see them before they were the sequels yeah and i feel bad for this generation i'm like make something new for them yeah agree like make something that's theirs that they can go oh my gosh when we were young we had this show but now it's like we had Wizard of Waverly Place we didn't need that we've got Camp Rock we don't need that and now we don't need all these things Camp Rock 3 everything is coming back like let's be honest no one's really watching them come back like admit have you watched Wizard of Waverly Place I've not watched any of the reboots I'm a Selena stan I'm a massive Wizard of Waverly Place stan but then I'm like am I actually sitting down and going back to watch it no if I was going to it's a watch it to just like check it out not like that's the TV I want to watch tonight.
5:43And is that going to actually resonate with these younger audiences? Because they're banking on the nostalgia but if we're not even going to watch it, are the little kids that interested? No. And it's like, we've even got a high school musical again. Like, guys, I need them to pick up a pen and paper and start writing their own ideas. I guess that did do really well though because that's how we've got Olivia Rodrigo, really. That is true. But I think that was a couple of years ago when we were still on the cast. Did anyone watch season two? No. No. It was season one and then we got bored. Is there a reboot that you've actually thought was like that was pretty good and I ended up really liking it.
6:13Do you know what I would like a reboot of? What? Cheaper by the Dozen. They did a Cheaper by the Dozen, but I don't know if it was like the same family, but it was the same like concept. That's not what I want. I want to see where those children are. Yeah, what are they doing now? I want to see the mum and dad, how they're doing. And I want that feeling, or like something like Father of the Bride. You know, I can't remember what his name is, the guy who acts in all those films. I know what you're talking about. to know how he is as like a granddad because he was like, in every movie, he's kind of like the frantic dad.
6:45Oh my gosh, yeah. But then in real life, normally the frantic dads become amazing granddads. Yeah. And I'm like, I want to see him be a granddad. Kind of like Meet the Fockers. Meet the Fockers. That was good. That's a good reboot. That was a good reboot. And they just kept going. But now I want that for like Father of the Bride. Yeah, that's good. You know, that sort of thing. Yeah, because I almost feel like you need to reach way back. Yeah. So then the reboot feels like it's traveled a long time. Exactly. some of these are a bit too soon almost. Oh my gosh, yeah, that's what I think about that.
7:13Like, it's too soon. But also, I guess the other thing is, do a lot of those actors want to come back? Well, look, well, it's like Princess Diaries, they don't have the Queen in it. What? Yeah, because she's retired. She's old. Yeah, she is old. But she, like, and I'm like, it's not Princess Diaries without her. I am quite excited for that one, though. I think that might be quite good. I feel like if they make it feel 90s, it'll be good. Well, sometimes when it's a complete reboot, like Elle the prime Amazon Prime Elle I really loved that so good I really really loved that I've actually not got around to watching that one I haven't finished it but that for me was like you've executed a reboot of like something that's on a similar vein it's not exactly the same but well but it reaches back you've done it well she acts Elle so well did you see I saw her audition video and I was like oh my gosh that's Reese Witherspoon so many comments that people are like she looks nothing like her are you blind yeah are you blind there were so many moments in the movie where I had to catch myself going this isn't Reese.
8:08It's the mannerisms. It's all that in the trailer. She's like, it's not the face. Yeah. But I don't look like my 17 year old self either. So true. And speaking of another reboot that sadly actually wasn't even a reboot, Hannah Montana. Oh yeah. Where was Jackson? Where was Jackson? Where was Rico? Where was, like I got her dad, I got a letter from Dolly Parton. RIP. We had like moments that were like, it was just random. Why was Chapel Rome there? I know. I was a Hannah Montana fan. Like Miley Cyrus, Stan. I went to her concerts when I was younger. Better t-shirts. Oh, I used to unironically say Sweet Niblets because I wanted to be in the show.
8:47I love that. I was obsessed with her. So when that came out, I was like, oh, I just expected a little bit more. I rewatched the movie the other day. Oh, really? Oh, that movie. I had those on DVD. Like where you cry at her and her dad just like singing together. Oh, singing in the shack in the rain. I'm there. And the love story when he's like, They're like painting the chicken. Oh my gosh. And her running back and forth from that date. Oh my gosh. But that used to get her, Miley. I was so stressed. And it's so sad that that girl watches her take her wig off. Oh yeah. And she's like. She's like.
9:19What? But no, Miley Cyrus. And her face. Disney queen forever. You know the classic. Yeah. It's just the face she does. It's come off. Yeah. Well, Miley Cyrus is in a new era team. Really? New era. She has stripped the Cyrus. And she's just announced her new album. bass persuades and apparently it's going to be on the vibes of like plastic hearts like kind of rock oh my gosh thank you like the photos i was so into the plastic hearts surely we call ourselves cyrus that would be sick that would be such a good rock and raw like i'm sorry i'm sorry no she's dropped it she's miley her website's changed it's the vibe is like red black and white punk rock okay guys and i was so obsessed with that plastic hearts era the cover she did of that blondie song yeah oh my gosh that was like probably one of my top songs on spotify that year but i think it's always fit her yeah rock and roll and i feel like 100 you remember when she first came out of um disney yeah is it can't be tamed yeah one of the articles is like it's a mixture of like that era and plastic hearts okay together that's what i want i think that's the natural that's not best time i loved when disney stars were just going crazy in terms of like music like they were just like i'm done with disney i'm gonna go full rock and roll yeah and i'm glad she's stepping into that now.
10:29But what do you think? Why is she dropping Cyrus? What's she trying to achieve there? I don't know why she's dropping Cyrus. we have heard stories that her and her dad are going on. Although he was in the reboot. Do we think she's doing it in the sense of like trying to be like a Zendaya where it's just like Miley? But Zendaya's always been Zendaya. Tell me her last name now. Go. Cormen. That's amazing. Okay, wow. Big Zendaya fan back in the day, guys. You win five million fans. I totally didn't have a fan page. Okay, we're going to leave that. Yes, her birthday. They know. I used to follow Zane's mum on Instagram.
10:58What's her last name? Coleman. Who are the other people who are just... But yeah, no, like you don't know. Who's another solo? Adele. Yeah, she's just Adele. She doesn't have a surname. Yeah, but she doesn't. I don't know her. No, exactly. No, it doesn't exist. But do you think it's harder for artists that have started young to try and reinvent themselves? Because Miley's had quite a few years. She's good at reinventing. But I think her fans like that. Because I think there's some artists that I know like Taylor had a lot of heat. but like to me she when she did go through that reputation era I loved it but like she to me is this kind of country cutesy lover girl Miley has done the reinventing really really well again back to like the plastic hearts era I think people were actually very into that and again she's gone through that and then we had bangers and again that was iconic so I think when Miley steps into a new era the fans like that because they know she always nails it yes I think that's quite good she goes full in yeah the extra mile Well, apparently she's also just turned down the offer to headline Coachella 2027.
11:57Why would you turn down? Maybe in terms of album, it's not. Maybe it's not the right vibe for Coachella. Maybe she's going to go proper crazy town. I don't know. Anything could go on at Coachella. I know. Oh, but I just would love to see her again. Yeah, I would too. Yeah, I feel like they were trying to do a Biebercella, Cyruscella. Well, now it'd have to be Mileycella. Mileycella. Oh, it just doesn't quite hear. Too many cellas. Too many cellas. okay and on to the new era vibe have you guys seen the september reset like second new year going viral on social media it's kind of overwhelming me i got the kind of back to school era yeah but the whole like reinvent yourself few months left i kind of like that for september though because i guess people are so used to like school new term starting but why not bring that into your adulthood so true like you get fresh for the new terms then why not bring yourself a bit of that i feel like a lot of people have been saying it feels like more of a fresh start than January.
12:48Why do you think that is? I think a lot's happened. A lot of people have gone through a lot of stuff in the last couple months probably. And I feel like the seasons change way more. Like New Year, it's like, oh, New Year, same weather, grey. Whereas now it's like, I've been out, we've got the tan, and now I'm ready to go into the new year, and I'm fresh, but I'm ready to be cosy. Yeah, it's so true. And it's really been like a summering summer. it really has all the memes everywhere it's going viral that everyone's been summering summered exactly and i think it's because in the uk we've had the best oh my gosh perfection everyone's just been like why not go for a drink it's sunny yeah like you can't say it's boiling you can't be inside so that's why i think we're ready to reinvent ourselves in september is there anything you guys are like personally leaving behind going into this new season for me i feel like i'm really like stepping into adulthood this season yeah being in this office is such a great place to be because you've got so many women who've gone through so many things yes so like this morning we were talking about stuff like that like me going through a breakup we were talking about that and we're like breakup has been hot topic this summer we're in our whole office all of the like older older ladies all the slt engaged engaged or married all engaged or married or a lot of them have been with their partners for so long yeah so whenever we as the younger lgs are going through anything we're like right team what are we meant to be with this person is feeling like this in a breakup normal.
14:12And when will we meet our husband? I went through one recently. Well, not recently. A bit ago, actually. March. March. March, fairly recent. Yeah, because that's when I joined. And then I went through one like a month ago. Yeah. I went through one a year ago. So we're in like, we're the different zones. Yeah, different zones. Oh my gosh. And I feel like a lot of other people I know have as well. Yeah, we've all been talking about it. It's also in this age bracket is when everyone starts to leave uni. Yeah. Shit gets real. It's the adulthood. It's the adulthood kicking in. because I was in a relationship from like 14 to like 20 or something like that it was like five years oh wow I was single like a few months to maybe a year got another relationship of three years that ended in March and here we are so maybe it's that time of like learning to be by yourself I'm excited for you yeah guys puppy actually no no puppy's already yeah I'm back in it see I think no but you know what do you know what this sounds really bad but I do genuinely think when I was going through the second one, I was like, what is the reason?
15:08Why is this all ending? Like, you know when you're like, when am I gonna meet my person? Not saying I have, wallop, let's relax. So there are other people out there that you can have better connections with. But after the first one, you're like, oh my gosh, after five years, I'm never gonna meet anyone like that, whatever. Met the second one, never gonna meet anyone like that. The third, I'm like, say best till hopefully maybe last. I think for me, my thing about this is like, again, like talking about never being on your own, like not being by yourself i think for me i was like maybe i do need to be by myself for a little bit because also again you have that like adulthood bit so i think like i said it's the perfect step into adulthood and figure out like who do i want to be not attached to anybody and i think that's actually been quite good for me recently yeah and i find that anytime you watch something tv shows things on the internet like it always centers around relationships yes and it builds this idea in our brains that if i'm not in a relationship i'm not doing enough i'm not enough life isn't worth living like i need to have someone that i'm crushing on or this episode is not interesting exactly but what i've discovered in this last year is my singleness is something that i'd have to sacrifice yes to date someone new exactly like if you're not worth sacrificing me being free like i can run off to california yeah and i don't have to text someone or be like I should return in like a few weeks because he'll want to go on a date with me.
16:30Or like, you know, my clothes are my clothes. What I do is for me, like if I cut my hair, I don't have to think, oh, my boyfriend likes this hair. It's just you. It's like, it's me and it's my girlfriends. And like, when are you going to be, when am I going to be 25, single, with my girlfriends in London? Yes. Ever again. Yes. Oh my gosh, Jen said that to me today. We can do this. Jen said, these are your single years. Do not waste them. But I do believe what you just said. I think that's the reason it sounds so cringe. The reason this third man might be working is because when we broke up, I was like, this is the first time I've been properly single as an adult.
17:07And even though it's only been a short kind of time, it's only been like five, six months, I'm like, in that time, I got to learn how to be actually happy on my own. I wasn't looking for anything, which is why, you know how it's so cringe. When you're not looking, it happens. But it's so true. And then like, funny you said that. like I was like someone's gonna have to really I'm gonna have to really want to be with them to end the single era because I'm actively having so much fun yeah and that's what I think is the good part I was even thinking like well every weekend I want to be with my mates so like I'm actually gonna have to schedule time because I've had so much fun yeah being with them every weekend like I'm not gonna be spending all my weekends with you like you're gonna have to slot in back to the girlies actually sorry no I'm loving that's where I think you've got to get to that era where you're sacrificing your single life you've got to be that good that I want to give up that to be with you Do you know what I love?
17:56Have you seen the girls who live in New York, the four in the five? Yes! I love them What I love about that is it kind of feels like a Sex and the City vibe where it's centred around friendship and we're these four girls who are living our lives in the five I need a TV series about female friendship oh my gosh where the main love story is my friendship and like the awkwardness of meeting someone at an event and then suddenly three weeks later they're your best friend or like friendship breakups and how do we get through those and all that that's a TV show that I'm asking for I don't need a new reboot I need a friendship series please someone out there can you do it for us please but you know the series Sterling Point yes my favourite part about Sterling Point was not the relationships I didn't really care who she ended up with.
18:48I cared about her friendship with her sister and her relationship with her sister and where her friendships went with all those girls and the guys. Like, I need friendships. I so agree. But yeah. It's also, because that's kind of a topic that's not really discussed that much. Like, when someone goes through a friendship breakup, like, I feel like people are embarrassed to speak about it because what if it's perceived that you're actually, like, in the wrong and then other people won't want to be your friend. And it's like, no, everyone's gone through it because naturally loads of people are different.
19:13You're not always going to work but it's sad growing up and, away i mean yeah it's so true like i've grown up like with me i've moved around quite a lot my whole life so like friendship breakups i think that's the thing nobody tells you about well on that note have you seen the kylie the stas female friendships female friendships here we go okay so obviously we've seen starcy has been hanging out quite a lot with alex arrell and during kylie's birthday celebrations people are like oh we're stars yeah so people are like what's going on and then the other day Kylie went on Stassi's podcast Better Half and everybody's like oh my gosh they're going to talk about the feud and turns out it was a bit they were just like laughing back and forth people speculating on the internet they were like oh my gosh they think we're fighting I could have bet that was happening exactly like that's such a bit but it's so true that they loved that like people out there pit women against women exactly Stass just has another friend team and Kylie also I think people forget she's also a mother she's a mother she's got other stuff like she's got multi-million businesses she's a mother she's got a new romance and she's got other friends too just because it's not plastered on the internet doesn't mean they've fallen out and I think that's the other point again like with female friendships people are so quick to pit them against each other when they could just be hanging out with other people yeah and that's alright because even Alex L brought stars onto her YouTube channel and they were doing like a get ready with me talking about it and they were even saying how like everyone thinks that this friendship's come out of nowhere and they're using it for like PR or whatever and they were like we've actually known each other for years we've met at loads of events but like now we're at the point where we're really really close that's why it's all over social media yeah like that's they're both single they're both youtube podcasters yes 100 and like for alex like they were obviously on that yacht together like if that was me and i was like oh god i'm with my new best mate or not even new but and we want to now travel europe together hate me because you ain't me exactly like why not and did you see um little stormy and kylie's interview so cute that child is so well behaved like i need kylie to give me a parenting like book no like i need like a little like why is she such a good mother she's so cute and like you can you can hate on anything you want you know oh that people talk about the plastic surgery the clothes they're like consumerism you cannot hate on her mothering no they are these children are so well behaved and so sweet and kind and generous and i'm like watching her like like you know you see like sassiness for kids like she's just like not even going to clock her mum on the YouTube channel she's going to be like okay okay yeah and you know that she doesn't agree but it's so sweet I also think it's quite nice that Kylie like I know people get a lot of hate for giving their children platforms but she's let her do this in a sense of like she lets Stormy write all the questions so some of the questions were really cute it'd be like do you prefer summer or winter like do you prefer matcha or coffee and it's like but you can tell she's just giving her the opportunity to like you know have experience doing a podcast doing an interview and it's good experience ultimately because they're going to be on the internet like yeah they are born into such a famous family do you think people seeing kylie interact with stormy has changed the way they see her oh i do think i think even me i loved her before but now i'm like she's oh my gosh you're perfect i think sometimes when i go on the internet people can be kind of hard on mums and like saying motherhood is like not a real job or like being a mum isn't like impressive i really love that kylie talks about how she always wanted to be a mum yeah and like a lot of the kardashians like I've always wanted to be a mom this is a dream of mine and it's actually okay if being a mom is your dream yeah like that's actually an okay dream to have some people be a boss be go do your thing like women can do have it flexible you can have it all like if you want to be a boss babe do it if you want to be a mother do it if you want to do both do it if you want to do neither do it like i'm like exactly i love that that's what we're seeing from them because she is doing it and celebrating it as well i think that's the really important thing about it too because yeah she she has it all she has it all talking about motherhood olivia rodrigo had her daisy chain fields festival and they supported a lot of like women's charities mother's charities planned parenthood i think they had a couple ones with like reproductive rights as well which again that whole festival itself her putting on a charity festival i said we don't see that happen as much general yeah and they raised 10 million dollars all the proceeds went to charity and then melinda gates got on stage and said actually guys i'm gonna match it and doubled it to 20 million dollars i've just got goosebumps right it's incredible like and again all female lineup it was inspired by the lilith fair which happened in the 90s which was put on by sarah mclaughlin and she actually made an appearance stevie nix was there oh no way bikini is a dream for me to see amazing like just such amazing powerful female artists so like yeah the entire festival i think we're not seeing that stuff as much anymore yeah I really loved I saw her post about the wishing tree afterwards where everyone could go and put like a wish for their life um on this like tree and Olivia was saying that she was reading them and it was like really beautiful things like really silly things like I hope my hair grows longer but also things like I hope I get into college and just like beautiful things that every woman who was at this festival can go I have a dream full of my life let me write it and I was thinking like I'm actually gonna like I love journaling and I'm a bit like I've taken that I'm like I'm gonna actually journal a little bit like what my wishes are yeah and then next year when the festival comes around again I'm gonna like check back on my dreams it's kind of like a way of like we're there but it's like you can check back and be like have any of the dreams come true are any of them dreams I need to like go after this year but I just I loved that idea and I love that she doesn't just care about one thing she cares about everyone who comes to this festival exactly everyone who's affected by this festival I we need more like this oh my gosh yeah charity festivals like especially with celebrities really like going in on the charity yeah I got a reminder she's only 23 I know that's mad yeah same age as me yeah she's on it she was like I care about this and I'm gonna set this up because it's important yeah that's a real encouragement to young girls yeah what you can do what you can actually at such a young age.
25:19Yeah. And I love seeing that. Also, it makes me like want to follow these people and support them even more. I love Olivia Rodrigo. So it's like immediately, yes. Immediately, yes. Okay. 26:04okay right guys what have we been loving actually you're gonna kick us off okay of course we're all in our autumnal vibes yeah i've been seeing this jacket literally everywhere from to leave the London the Romy jacket specifically the snow leopard it's that like military jacket feel that we both really love the brand I know it's kind of fluffy but it's got that like snow leopard print they've got also I think a zebra one and I think it's a leopard one yeah they're really really cool so cool and then the other one that we were talking about earlier is adults I'm so obsessed with this tv show and so are you I miss like hangout sitcoms it feels like friends I'm like It's all like kind of new girl watches.
26:40New world. I love New York. What's it on? Oh, Disney Plus. Yeah. Or Hulu. Yeah. Okay. It is such a good show. So the premise is five friends. All five of them live in their friend's parents' house. What? Why? In New York. In New York. Because they're like traveling. And it's cheaper. Yeah. So they don't have to pay rent. So they just live in this like house together in New York City. And again, they're all like in their 20s, like 25-ish. So they're all figuring their life out. Going crazy with jobs, relationships, like medical stuff. Lots of stuff. medical stuff. It's such a good show. What are your thoughts on it?
27:11I need to find out who, like, because obviously Paul Baker married, well, spoiler. Season two just came out. It's good 20 seconds. But season two did just come out. Yeah. Paul Baker married Anton. I know. And I'm like, wait, but he's meant to be with Issa. With Issa. This season's pretty good though. I'm like, wait, but who's he going to end up with? Oh my gosh, I need to watch this. It's really, it's like, you're rooting for people who are not together to be together. Yeah. And you're like catching it as you're watching. It's so good. And they actually reshot their pilot apparently to attract new viewers.
27:45Because I think the very first episode of season one didn't do very well. And they realized that. So beginning of season two, they reshot it. And I think that's actually brought up their views. Come on. And the new pilot is actually quite good. Like I liked both of them, but it is better. It is better. It makes more sense if you're the first time watching it. Another thing I want to talk about is dry shampoo powder. Guys. if you want your hair to bounce and stay bouncy dry shampoo powder is the best thing this one's from Adele but there's actually loads of different ones you can get but it is so good and this last dry shampoo cans I feel like they're gone in like two weeks this I have had for a month and a half and I use it nearly every day so is it just like a pourer?
28:28you go like this oh my gosh it sprays oh my god It's amazing. Like genuinely guys, your hair will bounce. That's such a smart way to do it as well. Do you know, there's a really good one, the K18 one. It comes out liquid and then turns powder. Wait, that's cool too. I know, but I'm in that era of the dry shampoo. I used to put baby powder in my hair. And then I found out it was bad for me. Oh really? So I've moved to this. Well now you've got it, recreating your baby powder. Wait, can you spray it again? I love it. Not on yourself though. Ready? Yeah. Wow! It's like snow. It's literally a cloud.
29:02Tiss the season! and so fun to apply yeah okay so i've got a really good one for like if you want like to look after your skin this hydro surge dewy face mask from the inky list i was breaking out really badly and i couldn't work out why because i haven't changed anything i haven't changed my diet and i was like you know what i think i just need to introduce something new and i found this and if you've ever heard on the podcast before i have this app where i scan every ingredient of everything I use. I need that. And I am very specific about what I put on my face and this has nothing in it that will make you break out.
29:36But it just like, it feels super fresh. It leaves your skin super glowy but it also cleared my skin. Okay, right. We're getting on that. That's been straight in the basket. We're getting on that. And it's small, you can keep it on you. She's cute. That's on the desk. In my shelf drawer now. It's really good. Okay, well, it's something I've been loving. I need to grab it off the side. Give me a second. Drum roll. Okay, wait, ready? Poppy drum roll, please. my new handbag yay okay so for those who can't see it that are listening basically it's cobalt blue suede it's from Parfois and also I literally got it at the airport last night me and Ellie were at the airport 1am but I'm obsessed with it used it straight away can fit my laptop multiple different compartments and it matches my shoes for those who can't see I have cobalt blue suede belly flats on do you know what it's got the thick strap that when we've got the winter winter bulge from the coats on the shoulder it'll be fine it's gonna be fine and it's big enough to fit my laptop and I love because every autumn we want to wear suede but this is like an alternative and it's a fun colour as well yeah and I feel like obviously she's not one I'm gonna wear every day but she's a good one for that and then the other thing I'm obsessed with going into autumn is the Summer Fridays lip liner in shade cinnamon you know Summer Fridays you've put me onto it as well honestly that shade is like the perfect autumnal slightly rusty burnty oh I love it I'm obsessed with it Summer Friday's everything I've used it so much though It's already going down And down and down We're going to be Chuffing out of it Yeah it's fine Okay guys We've come to the end How gutting This has been like A therapy session I've really enjoyed this Yeah We've really covered it all We've now got Everything we want Yeah we've got We've got our hair deodorant We've done therapy About our exes Well thank you So much for listening Remember to subscribe So you don't miss out On an episode We're back every single week Bye

From the publisher
Poppy and Angelina are joined by stylist and content creator Emily Beaney for a proper catch-up on everything taking over their feeds – including reboot fever, Miley Cyrus’s latest reinvention, how to navigate break-ups, friendships and your 20s.
First, the girls ask whether Hollywood needs to stop bringing back the shows we grew up with. With a ‘Victorious' spin-off on the way and reboots of everything from ‘Wizards Of Waverly Place’ to ‘Camp Rock’, is nostalgia officially getting out of hand? Plus, they unpack Miley dropping “Cyrus”, her return to a rockier sound and why some former Disney stars are better at reinventing themselves than others.
Things get personal as the girls discuss September resets, recent break-ups and why being single in your 20s can actually feel like something worth protecting. There’s also Kylie Jenner friendship drama, Olivia Rodrigo’s $20m charity festival and, naturally, the autumn fashion, beauty and TV recommendations you need to know about.
