0:00Welcome back to the LuxGen group chat. On this week's podcast, India is giving us a full debrief of her mega weekend at Venice Film Festival. Rosie Huntington-Wantley, Gemma Chan, Sapna, me. How the old school vintage camcorder has made a comeback. I was just recently in Beoritz and I used it in my vlogs. Love that. So I upload on YouTube and vlogs. And do you know what? I will say it was a bit shaky. And finally, if you were paid£80 ,000 a month to wear a designer brand, which one would it be? £80 ,000 a month? Yes. To only wear months? cream oh my god sorry getting paid to wear a sick brand that is so good it's a good one so enjoy welcome back to the luxgen group chat podcast today i'm so excited to be joined by india and steph we've not had this dynamic in a while ladies i cannot wait yeah ever we've never had this before i'm done for it buckle up yeah literally i was gonna say it's been a couple of months since i've been on the pod so i cannot wait to be back yeah because you've been away for yeah and i feel like before summer it was super busy yeah yeah so true can we run through outfits today yes i am wearing a like blazer jacket from mns but it's um love it like pre-loved off depot he's a zara which i've actually had to cut the bottoms because i'm too short my shoes are adidas they're like boxing slash football shoe take on them yes yeah the taekwondo yeah and then my regular jewelry but i got this new bangle from um remade jewelry which i really like it's like an intertwined so gold thing and then yeah everything else I usually wear no I feel very ladylike today I've got my blazer on which is Zara super oversized and then this tank top which I've worn the death out of it's from the colorful standard and it's like really perfect when you can't see your underwear underneath yes you know I think you've got to get the right thickness yeah and the perfect white tee they're very important but the colorful standard great tank top these kind of what would you call them pedal capris capris yeah from H &M and then these Prada she's you thrifted those I thrifted those yeah I got them in Margate I mean you must have walked in were they just like looking at you no do you know what my friend found them and she's the same size as me and she was like she was like I'm going to get them and I was like you get them and she's like you need them she's like girl you need and she actually was like you go for it that's so nice she's a better person than me because I would have kept them for myself no I get too awkward I'd just be like you have them you have them sure it's fine we'll share them We'll show them.

2:24What about you, Dace? I am wearing this Three People Butter Yellow Suede Jacket. I've actually worn this so much. It's been perfect for going into autumn. Yeah. This is a little mink-a-dink blouse. I love those tops. Yeah, they're so easy. Yeah, you can dress them up, dress them down. They're so light. Agreed. I just love them so much. Great quality. These are some speltum blue and white stripes. Basically, pajama trousers. Yeah. They're very comfortable. And then I've got my new M &S ballet flats on and they're like, you know, Calvary. Love. Which I've been getting loads of wear out of. I was just in M &S the other day topping up on my knickers.

2:52Oh yeah, of course. Yeah, absolutely. They do like an unreal deal. It's like five for ten pounds. Yeah. And I saw these hanging at the cashier checker and I was like... So cute. And then the girl behind me saw them as well and I was like, go on, do it. Yeah, do it. So yeah, that's what I'm wearing. Oh, and my H &M blue light glasses. Yeah, love them. We need to start with Venice Film Festival. Guys, I became a celeb for the weekend. Sorry, India looked absolutely banging. and if anyone has seen any of the footage, like two outfits, bang, makeup, bang. She was serving. Yeah, it was like... It was like A-list celebrities and then India and Sap.

3:26I was like, pop, yo. And India and Sap. It was such a surreal experience. Like I was calling my mum and I was like, I can't even explain to you what is going on right now. She's like, yeah, I can imagine. Like, I'm so jealous. Basically, we went to Venice Film Festival with Armani Beauty. We're so, so lucky and privileged to have gone and had the opportunity. Take us through from like the flight. Okay, so... Because so much happened at the airport. There's so much happened from the... So basically, from the minute I was picked up, it was like this really cool, like, AMG Mercedes coupe. Oh, bullshit.

3:53I was like, oh, okay, like, this is the night. Here we go. Anyways, get to the airport. Everything's good. We have some breakfast. Then we get to the lounge, and we're walking up the stairs to the plane, and we see Jude Law. Well, I don't see Jude Law. Sapna's like, is that Jude Law behind us? And I'm like, no. Like, I didn't even see who it was, but I was like, that's obviously not Jude Law, because why would he be on a commercial flight? We're in the aisle in the plane. And this lady right in front of me goes, and then takes her phone out and then starts filming behind us. And I'm like, okay.

4:20You've got to pay it cool. She was so like, and I was like, oh, queen. So then I was like, oh, actually, maybe it is Jude Law. But I didn't want to like whip my head off. When we sat down, I kind of stood up and looked around and it was him. We got off the plane. He was also picking up his baggage with us casually. He was actually right by us. He's just like us. He's just like us. Also, he could get it. He's like, oh, he's really fast. It's a stunt. Anyways, we also saw Molly Gordon, who's in the bear. We get to the hotel. Insane, like, boat ride from the dock to, like... Yes, so, I'm just going to quickly interject.

4:51Jack and I, we popped into Venice for lunch for the day when we were in Italy in August. Oh, really? And so I kind of, now I can really picture the boat and everything. But you're obviously in a lot of bougie boat than we were. It was like, yeah, the boat was so bougie. But obviously, that's all I've ever known. So this is what I think Venice is like now. But I feel like if I go back, it will not be the same experience. Yeah, my experience. You've started pretty high. But yeah, we get to the hotel. we're having lunch who walks up the boat? Keith Powers if you don't know who Keith Powers is he's basically one of my biggest celebrity crushes ever also he's there with Armani Beauty so we are with him like the whole time like I literally was like we spoke accidentally but also I'm not gonna lie he was glancing over to me a few times but only because I think it was like I think it was because like oh hey I recognised that girl because she was at the dinner she was at the lunch she was at the hotel not like a I'm checking her out maybe she's following Exactly.

5:41But he's like one of my celebrity crushes, which is absolutely insane. So to be there with him. Anyways, then we went to this dinner that Armani Beauty was hosting. That was where we saw Aaron Taylor Johnson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Sadie Sink, Kate Blanchett, Sophia Carson, Rashida Jones, like literally everyone, Natalie Emanuel, like all these people that I literally watch on TV. Like it's just like, what am I doing here? Aaron Taylor Johnson nodded at me. What? He nodded. He was like, he approved. well he knows I'm like hey I wonder what role he's getting ready for though because he's got loads of facial hair oh has he yeah I feel like his hair is his hair is like very yeah and then the next day we got glammed up oh I must say that we got glammed up both days by Armani Beauty like makeup artist like it was insane were you like this is my inspo or did you just say just do your best I literally was like just do your best because I don't know where to start I was like gosh I Isn't that always It's always weird When a makeup artist is like Well no your mum's a makeup artist So I feel like She is True But I'm just like Something I like natural makeup Yeah That's literally what I do But And then We started getting ready For the red carpet And I FaceTime you guys When you were in the hotel Which is like Unbelievable hotel The hotel The Venice Venice I think it's supposed to be One of the best hotels In Venice So Wow And the breakfast This is so plush in here Lobster for breakfast Lobster for breakfast Lobster for breakfast Lobster for breakfast I know we get to the hotel where you like sort of prep before you walk the red carpet again i'm with all the celebs that are like armani beauty ambassadors i was explaining to my friends that it's kind of like if you're going on a school trip and they group you into like group a group b group c if you're at group a you're with like the same people so you go to lunch together you go see the ice with our money you have referred to this like school i just think like no one could understand like as in we saw these people 24 7 like as in i turn and aaron taylor johnson was literally sat in that court like it was just and he was just talking to everyone like keith powers was stood over there wow glancing over at me and then we walk over to the red carpet so in between the hotel and the red carpet there's like maybe like 25 meters of just like the public it's a bit hectic this guy stuck his phone out at me like trying to get a picture with me and i was like Sir I am not who you think I am He was like She must be special She must be famous So I think he was just trying To get pictures of everyone So I was like You know what I'm gonna Yeah Did you go for a selfie Oh my god Screaming It was literally I was like Is this for me And he was like I was like okay Oh India I wish I could have been a fly No it was insane And like So when we were lining up For the red carpet Like literally Leslie Bibb She was right in front of us Ray Taliesin Whiteley Was right in front of us Like we were all queuing For the same red carpet Which You agree Like how How are we even with the same?

8:26Like, as in, it was Rosie Huntington-Wantley, Gemma Chan, Sapna, me. What the hell? I know. And then we get in, we see Jesse Williams from Grey's Anatomy. You are named after, like, Grey's? I know. And then we go and watch Frankenstein. Jacob Elordi is so tall. I was like, when is she going to get to the man himself? Jacob Elordi. I never really saw the Jacob Elordi hype up until I saw him in person. And I was like, I get it now. Did you see him in the all-white outfit? No, I didn't. But he was wearing this really cool Batego Mineta suit and the suit pants were really loose. He just looked very cool.

8:59And even though he was standing ovation, he was towering over Oscar Isaac. And I don't think Oscar Isaac is that short. It was insane. And 15 minutes standing ovation. I have a question about this. Are you just clapping for 15 minutes? Do you all collectively decide we've hit 15? We're going to stop now. So I don't know who started. The whole time we were like, who starts slowing down? We probably haven't even been recording for 15 minutes. And you've still been clapping. We were clapping. like my hands were getting tired my rings were on they're like clashing it's like when is this gonna end obviously amazing film like fully deserved it but I was like is this what happens all the time like they do they clap forever and it's a big thing it's like the longer the clap the more acclaimed the film yeah no but it was really really good like I never thought I didn't think Frankenstein could have been moulded or shaved into this version it's like scary it's sad it's really really really good absolutely amazing weekend thank you RMIBT oh incredible and if you've missed it head to Sheila Lux, head to Lux Jen.

9:53Yeah, there's so much content. There's a full vlog. Yeah, there's a full vlog for the weekend. So there's more in there. Yeah. Amazing. And Steph, you've just come back from your hauls. Yes. Oh my God. I actually put up a TikTok. Do you know that sound of Kylie Jenner? She's like, leave me alone. I'm summering. Yeah, that was really cool. On the motorbike. Yeah. Well, I still feel, I feel like it's been very clear in the office that people have transitioned now to autumn, but I'm still. I know. I feel like it's only just here. I'm clutching at straws. I've still got my ballet flats on. You've still got yours on.

10:20My dog's out today, yeah. But it was the best. Went to Ibiza with my boyfriend. It was his birthday trip. We stayed at a really nice hotel, Me, Ibiza. It's on like the north side of the island and it was just beautiful. Got a scooter, went around the explore beaches. That's the thing, I honestly feel like getting a scooter or hiring a car, it is just worth that. Like when you're allocating, when you're like saving for a trip, try and allocate a bit of budget. I think so. Yeah, it depends on who you're going with but I feel like being able to explore properly is the biggest thing. Like that was our favourite thing we did was go pick a point in the map and be like, let's see if we can get into that beach there.

10:51Because it'd be like, you could just see a little coast of water. Yeah. And it was so fun. It was the best, honestly. That's really nice. Did you pick up cars when you were away? So we, yeah. So I went to Greece. We went, there were six of us. And I went with a friend who was like, honestly, if you think I'm type A, she is like next level. Although I'm not type A in the office. I feel like I'm pretty type A. I feel like you're a bit of both. I don't get type A energy from you daily. Anyway, she was, yeah, she was amazing. And she was so like, we need tire cars. And I was like, oh, I don't know.

11:18like let's just get taxis it's more money it was the best decision we like found all these insane beaches we basically were going like off-roading down these tracks to find these beaches but so fun and we just ended up like yeah we had a rough normally I'm like okay we're gonna do this we're gonna go to this restaurant but on this holiday we were like let's just see where we go yeah that's nice spontaneity went to Paros the island oh yeah yeah beautiful and then we got a little ferry over to Antiparos which I feel like is quite Antiparos Antiparos even nicer than Paros and so it was a five minute ferry so it's really worth either going we went by foot you can't drive the cars on and we just went for lunch and then came back so nice that's so fun you had the best trip ever can we like okay we need a foot now we're four weeks away probably a highlight was the Dolomites I feel like it's on everyone's for you pages and it really is worth it the hype is real and it's just yeah the water is just so blue and the lakes and you can just hike and it's cool in the morning it's warm in the afternoon obviously you're in Italy so the food is banging yeah it's the best mix of everything it looks wholesome as well It was very wholesome.

12:18Very, very wholesome. Yeah, it was amazing.

12:24Shall we move on to the hot list? What's new? What's trending? What's going on? Yeah. Culture. There have been quite a few celebrity couples relationships. Steph, you flagged one yesterday. Yeah, guys, this is a bit random for me now. Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun. Are supposedly dating. What? Tots and opinions. Didn't, first of all, didn't she just, like, break off her engagement? Yeah, she did. It's been a bit of time. I think she's had a few months yes she had like hot girl summer for sure fair enough he has supposedly invested in her lingerie line and maybe her film company oh wow and I honestly feel like she's going to have to be hiring a PR crisis team literally as far as any further I feel like she is final boss of making poor decisions Scooter Braun like the amount of situations he's got himself yeah he is the one that bought all of Taylor's music and was the reason why Taylor had to yes exactly I feel like he's had beef with Justin Bieber recently as well They were in a lawsuit for years.

13:18Yes. I need a rundown. What else has happened? Well, he was his manager for years and years and years. Yeah. And then there was this big... He earned all the license for his music, didn't he? Which is like typical Scooter Braun is to have... Yeah. Yeah. But then he let this music video out and it was like very obvious that he was anti-Scooter Braun. Oh my gosh. And I think they were in a huge legal battle for Justin to claim all his music value. Oh, wow. I don't know if that ever... I don't know what happened with Justin as well. I know, crazy. Wow. So I don't know. I don't see the attraction to him.

13:42Why him? He's also not even... Not for me, is what I was saying. Not for me. Not for me. She's a baddie, though, so fair play to him. But also, she's had a sticky summer with controversies as well. I feel like it's just PR nightmare, PR nightmare. I'm like, girl. She just had an ad for Jimmy Choo, and all the comments are just not what I think Jimmy Choo were expecting. It's like, oh, well, what have you got on her? And I'm like, ah. I know. It's a great ad as well. I actually think it's really cool. I'm just like, ah. I know. Sorry. She's a few months under the rock. Yeah. Just stay quiet for a little while, and then maybe you can come back.

14:10I don't know. Exactly. Harry Styles has been spotted with Zoe Kravitz. When did that happen? Sorry, but she has her repertoire. Can we just go back? She was engaged to Channing Tatum. She was engaged to him. And then they were engaged for like three years. Or they were together for three years at least. And then they broke up like early this year. She started filming with Austin Butler. Also, that film, it looks so raunchly. It's so good together. So I assume that they'd come out being like, oh, we're together. Well, their chemistry. Their chemistry is amazing. And they're very, they've been seen but spotted.

14:38But that was at the same time as Austin was with Kai Gerber. so he then so maybe maybe something because I just don't believe that they've gone into that and nothing has happened because they just look so good together and on the red carpet yeah on the red carpet their chemistry yeah it's ridiculous and then so she was hanging out with Austin Butler on the Friday and then pops over to Rome with Harry Styles but they were just linking arms what are we getting they were just linking arms like it could just be no they've been seen spotted at Rita's in London Dumois told me that yeah really very upsetting for me Harry Styles is a type yeah and I love that film and he's dead right and he's dead right But listen, Zoe Kravitz had Penn Badgley.

15:13Wait, really? Yeah. Channing Tatum, Austin Butler. Oh my God. It's like every single one of the boys that I know. There's definitely another one. I mean, insane. Yeah. She's a lucky girl. Kai Gerber's roster, Austin Butler, Jacob Elordi. Now he's with Lewis Pullman. Like, what the hell? These girls. She's literally got my dream roster. It's insane. Is there ever a situation where we're just seeing them hang out with friends and we're jumping to conclusions? Exactly. because like the arm situation i do that with my guy i didn't want to believe it i didn't want to believe it daisy but i do think it's true yeah well the fact they've been spot in london as well okay yeah that's sort of yeah i know shame damn okay moving on you're probably living under a rock if you haven't seen grace beverly's recent wedding but did you see what her husband did for his groom's speech so cute okay i think you need to explain so the productivity journal have you guys used it?

16:05I have it by my desk I see it all the time he with Grace Beverly's team created the groom's journal so cute for the speech so perfect and this is the same guy that also planned a whole PR trip around the engagement like to the point of like the car collecting her the invite he worked with a brand to fake a whole press trip and then they arrived and he proposed he's literally like if he can he would like that is the poster boy one of the comments was he was written by a woman no he was he was literally the comments actually are really so good and have you seen that one she did a tiktok it was like a carousel of things he like the reason she's marrying him and i was just like wow he like these guys the bar is pretty high yeah i know i know so cute i'm intrigued by their wedding because they were like mic'd up a lot in these videos do you think it's going to be like a big long form potential yeah i mean maybe it'll be like a sort of docu-style yeah but i was honestly impressed at the rate in which this content was being churned out yeah who was who was on their social media I think maybe her team were there probably probably I mean great coverage and great for us because we've literally been following along the journey and seeing the final result it is quite fun when someone who's very online continues you through with such a special day that like Manny would like to keep private yeah huge pressure but so nice for the audience because I feel like that is how she's gotten to where she is and did you see the um camcorder no camcorders are back I saw one on your desk today camcorders are back Georgie Armani's latest campaign was shot with a camcorder as well yes it's so cool have you got one i have two really randomly i was just recently in beer it's and i used it in my vlog so i upload on youtube and vlogs and do you know what i will say it was a bit shaky i wasn't loving it i guess you have just like very vintage like i was watching my boyfriend he was like oh this is this looks not very high res it's a vibe it's like 50 60 pounds off amazon aren't they oh my god cheaper i think so it is cool i feel like it's a fun way to document like a summer trip or like with your friends but at the same time like it's not high res if you're looking starting more high res probably isn't it but I still like the aesthetic of like the rawness of it it's just so nostalgic that I do remember as a child like seeing my mum come round the corner like on your birthday with them and things like that so cute I was actually recently watching the Oasis documentary and the fact that they have this like old docu-style kind of footage of just them hanging in there oh I didn't know that yeah just kind of like their mum obviously videoing them opening Christmas presents I just love that with your YouTube channel you actually have long form documentation of your life of your life I've been making YouTube videos for like four or five years I love that yeah and it used to be pretty regular as well it freaks me out sometimes if I overthink it like if I overthink either who's watching or like what I've said but I just think it'll be so special in years to come to look back imagine showing your future kids totally this is what I did in my 20s just to even like look back at like times in California or like a trip I want to document more I do want to you should obviously you have your videos on your phone but everything's quite short form agree and I feel like things get disposed quite quickly via social media like just trends everything just moves so fast but youtube is such like a safe space where things like really can be nestled yeah i love that yeah so stay tuned we've ordered one for the social team yeah on that note have you also seen the brand that's launched a kid's landline phone that is sick bring it vintage so like no apps no strangers no internet just this is what we need that's good yeah that's safety as well and basically like their parents can choose like they can call their grandparents and call their friends and they literally just have the phone that's so cool so can they take it like with them out and about?

19:27I don't know. I've seen it. It's like really cool. Is it like a landline? It's like really vintage-y. It looks like a landline. And it's like actually big that you like, Oh, with the cord. Oh, that's so cool. I actually still remember my three best friends' home phone numbers. Really? Do you? I know them off. What the hell? Because you call them every evening. You call them after school. I never had that. Oh my God. We were probably the last of the generation to have the landlines. Yeah. We had a landline, but that was just for like when like random people would call. But if I was contacting my friends would be over email we'd email each other yeah yeah we'd email each other and then when we got phones then it progressed to like kick k-i-k you remember we had kick and then but we probably use that for like a month and then we started getting all the apps like snapchat and stuff yeah but like for a long time it was email you just text over email and then you'd see each other at school we all used to live in the same area so but then it was bbm oh yes yeah sorry bbm and then when you got iphone it was like i do remember the landline era that's when we were in primary school because you'd and then do you remember i always used to from the top bedroom i'd get the other landline and i'd listen in on my mom's calls and she would be like you couldn't tell if you were a eavesdropping mind so i used to eavesdropping my sister's phone calls all the time you would just quite pick it up wouldn't you and listen let's put it down slowly but i think that's really good because i was watching a tiktok today and it was like a stitch and this guy was like can someone tell me who the new it girls with disney channel are and this girl Stitch it was like there are no it girls because there's no good tween content like when we were younger we had like Zoe 101 we had Shaykata we had Nickelodeon we had like Disney Chains iCarly exactly but we had that transition we had that transition from like being a child to like oh I'm growing up and I have these TVs to watch and then to like older adult content but now the tweens want to be influencers or they watch influencers or they watch Love Island and like older content.

21:21So they don't have that tween face. So now there's no, there's no audience for like that Disney channel content. So there aren't any like Zendaya's, Bella Thorne's, Demi Lovato's that it's just like, just it gone straight from being a child to I have an iPhone. I do see 14 year olds now and I'm like, you'd be scared to see pictures of me. Yeah, no, at 14. Literally. I was so small. I had braces. It was weird. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, so those allies are going to be really good to kind of bring back the childhood yeah bring back childhood a bit more wholesome yeah Mesa Margiela have just tapped into Miley Cyrus for their latest Autumn Winter 25 campaign so cool and it's their first time ever like collabing with somebody well they've never really had any celebrity affiliation or anything no like faces or yeah I think they were quite against it if I'm right in saying that really so the fact that they have chosen Miley is like such an honour I feel like it's so fitting though for Miley like that's so her vibe she's quite grung but also if you saw that campaign imagery and you didn't know it was Mesa Margiela I think you would be able to work it out.

22:19Which is so cool. They obviously have such a strong tone of voice and imagery like in general. But I feel like the pictures were so cool. She looked amazing. She looked insane. Like the things that she was wearing were like absolutely incredible. It's just so her. So I'm really glad that she got that. And I'm pretty sure the designer had just dropped the women's wear collection for the first time last month and then brought on Miley Cyrus. It's clearly very big things to come. That's really fun. That's huge. I'm excited to see where it goes. I still want tabbies. I just can't afford them. I really want tabbies.

22:45I love them. I just can't afford them. Yeah, I'm very pro. Or do you like both? All of them. I love everything. India, it's so your style. I'm very pro tabby. It's just like£800. I know. There aren't really any dupes on the high street either. There's a few, but I feel like having a shoe like that. Yeah, I kind of want to wear the iconic. If I'm going to get it, I want to get my jellies. Maybe in a couple of years I can afford them. Maybe your mum might pass them down to you. I mean, honestly, your mum's wardrobe is absolutely insane. Yeah, she's saying maybe my mum will help me out with that.

23:18I saw a post that Outlander did yesterday. Tyshawn Jones is allegedly being paid£80 ,000 a month to only wear Supreme. £80 ,000 a month? Yes. To only wear Supreme? Oh my God. Sorry, getting paid to wear a sick brand. That is so cool. That's what I was thinking. So if you could choose any brand and you were paid£80 ,000 a month, what would it be? That's a great question. Yes, agreed. Mew Mew all the way. Mew Mew. I just think they're such an iconic brand. And they are able to tap into like our generation. Making it look cool, but then also appeal to like the older generation as well. It's so iconic.

23:50Like I just, yeah, if I could choose any brand to wear for the rest of my life, it would be Mewmew. And be paid for it. Yeah, and be paid. I would do it for free. I would do it for free to get paid as well. That is so sick. It would 100 % be Mewmew. Also, all the ambassadors for Mewmew are very cool. They're so cool. It's like Alicia Bowe, who was in 13 Reasons Why. Emma Corrin. Emma Corrin. Mewmew and Burberry have done very well. Yeah, they just got such cool ambassadors, actors, actresses, models that are part of their team. And emerging. They're culturally relevant. They catch people almost before they get really hyped.

24:22So I'd love to be a Mimu girl. That is probably my aspiration in life. You're a Mimu girl to me. Thank you. I love that. How about you? Do you know what? As soon as you said it, do you know what brand I love? And I wear so much of Koss. Yeah, fair enough. I can wear headstown Koss every day and get paid for it. I just was scrolling through their new season. Honestly, my favourite pieces are always cast. And it's high street and it's expensive high street, but it's such good pieces. Yeah, good quality. It looks amazing. Dream, dream brand, YSL. Oh, yeah. Yeah, that's very you as well. YSL is very you.

24:56Imagine being like, oh, what are you going to do? Head to YSL. And I'm being paid to work too. Like, whoa, that would be bad. Get to know YSL. Get to YSL. Fair brief for me. Oh, days, yeah. Yeah, no, fair enough. Fair enough. I see that. They're so iconic. So iconic. You just want to think of clothing that would also be comfortable. So you're going to wear it every day. Yeah. I have some comfortable options. But yeah. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Love that. So I can't believe if that's true, then wowsers. I would wear Supreme every month. Yeah, I would wear Supreme every month. Yeah, very cool.

25:24Supreme is also a very cool brand. I agree. Okay. I don't know if you've seen it. A girl on TikTok has been holding a millennial boot camp from a Gen Z. So for example, she's been saying as a Gen Z, she will always use two times Zoom. Yeah. When she's out for dinner. Valid. On the story. she'll always tag like either in the corner or just shadow tag like if she's with friends it'll be like in one of the sides yeah it's not like big yeah and like tiny oh I do like it in the middle no but it has to be small I like it in the middle small small small yes I need the allegations for my mother to be like I had to screenshot and zoom in to see this yes that's what you want okay also dead deceased throwing up equals like good that's good yeah it's fine it's not actually it's not like I'm actually throwing up I feel like I love it I feel like all the millennials at Sheerlux will know that okay another one is the Instagram fonts now there's like some absolute no go the ones that are like big and slanted terrible we can't be using that unless it's your personality yeah for example I think the creator Kate Park uses it and it suits her fair enough yeah it suits her the one that I can't get on board with is the cursive like so many wiggle-wigs everywhere it's not clean I can't even read the writing and you can't see it yes hate also hate on a font when people press it and it has like the outline yes I don't like it I don't want it yeah it can't be like shiny you know when you can be like glowing and also just white or black any of those features that make it glitter make it come in or come out when it's like letter by letter oh yeah the wiggle when it wiggles on offensive it's actually offensive I'd interested to know what your opinions are on the new one Instagram just released that's almost like a sketch oh I haven't seen this no come on have you not seen it it's like a thick almost like a chalkboard have you not seen it because I think I know what Instagram were trying to do but I don't think they quite What were they trying to do?

27:09They were trying to do like a nice squiggle that you might do on like an iPad or something No, it's just not It's just not going to work No, so I would avoid that as well Agree Unpopular opinion I think Boomerang should come back Oh, I totally agree If you use it in an unironic way Yeah, yeah, yeah I'd be like Do you know who's so good for it? Don't be serious with it but it's like jokes if you're like Yeah, yeah Do you know who's so good at it? No Looking for Lewis is so good for an ironic it's never gonna be yes no not for real not for real do you remember when everyone used to go boomerang yeah no no no and they'd be like we are young hey no do you know what song are you playing over it is that sunset lover biscuit song what is it

27:53sunset biscuit that honestly I also don't waste your time adding music to a story do you not sometimes I will I sometimes I will if it's a video if we're talking like a boot camp You know, yeah, yeah, definitely on your IG. Love it on a grid. Yeah, love it on a grid. Also, like if you're in a restaurant, don't pan. Never just like I fear. Stay still. Never. Or just zoom in. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Slow zoom. These are the perfect people to be asking. The pan in general needs to go. I feel like a pan makes me dizzy. Yes. You want to make it enjoyable for the viewer. So you just do three seconds of this part.

28:29three seconds yeah nice exactly just crisp clear and then you get like a bit of the chefs doing their thing behind like it's just really cool low lighting like oh that's another thing her story two times zoom and dim the light yes and to dim the light i feel like we might be being a bit harsh like a lot of people know the vibe yeah obviously a lot of people are excused yeah if you don't know that's fine but i feel like there's a very list there's a very obvious list of things that make it nice as a viewer yeah and this is why i get nice yeah and janelle farah who's done this boot come on TikTok.

28:58I'm just loving it. And I feel like she has just broken it down. Love that. It's amazing. Yeah. So good. Love it.

29:06Okay, we're going to move on to TV and products we're loving. Is anyone watching anything good at the moment? So I'm watching Hostage on Netflix. Ooh, I want to watch it. It's basically, without spoiling it, this prime minister's husband gets kidnapped whilst he's away doing some medical work in, I don't know what country it is, but I know it's French territory. essentially she's trying to get her husband back but there's loads of like obstacles that she runs into that prevents her from getting her husband back and they're threatening for her to stand down from the uk prime minister which obviously she doesn't want to do but obviously her husband and her like only the french prime minister can help only the french president can help but she she's being blackmailed so she obviously doesn't want to jeopardize her career for the sake of this british prime minister it's just i love like a british drama honestly they're so those netflix ones are always so good i am watching unknown number the high school catfish on netflix i cannot get a high school catfish no no india this is insane i don't want to spoil it okay okay but basically there's a teenage couple at school high school we're talking like their relationship started when they were like 13 so super super young yeah basically they both start getting these messages they're basically being totally harassed by text messages unknown number they try blocking the number the number gets regenerated and keeps going but it's like horrific abuse really explicit messages and just that you know awful things like kill yourself we don't need to go into what they are but it's awful awful harassment both parents of the of the couple get the school involved and they they try things like looking at cctv on school to see who's getting their phone out because it's happening throughout the school day it's happening late at night so it's all around the clock so the parents have been like well surely it's someone and also they're sharing details about like the basketball matches and things that are happening at the school.

30:52So it's got to be someone at the school. Who it turns out to be is insane. Extraordinary. Like worrying. Oh. So you must watch it and then let us know. Because it will blow your mind who it is. It's not normal. No, it's so messed up. Oh, yeah. Wow. But these documentaries, you honestly think nothing weirder could come out. What happened? What? You kind of, when you watch stuff like that, you're like wow like not everyone is normal in this world you kind of meet people like just like casually or like on a surface and you're like oh they're a really nice person but you actually never know what's going on behind closed doors you have I know you need to watch people like people are weird people are so weird that is really weird this is we won't reveal it because it's literally just dropped on Netflix but like please watch it I'm going to watch that tonight message us tonight it will blow your mind I'm going to watch that oh that sounds amazing okay are there any products you're loving Steph oh my god guys I got this delivery last week from Huda Beauty they have launched travel essential like minis and when I tell you I honestly was freaking out I had to give a piece to India I literally I messaged Steph I was like oh can I have one please I bet you brought it because I'm not oh let's see I think it's the cutest thing ever it's a mini powder puff it's a mini powder puff oh yeah sorry they sound not the cutest thing ever that's like perfect perfect it's also like you actually need it because you can never get into the crevice of your like eye it's so good and when I opened it I was like this is like a bit gimmicky a bit silly but then I was like it's been in my pocket every day so I absolutely love it I feel like all their minis are great.

32:16When you're traveling a lot, like for example, I'm going to Dubai tomorrow with work, which is really fun. And it's nice to have a travel bag ready to go. Do you know what I mean? Separate from your actual usual makeup. It's actually so worth taking the time to go shop for that. Literally. And just pulling things together that are small and having it all ready to go. I feel like I'm quite on it with that stuff. Love that. Love that. Dairy Boy, you know the brand? What is that? Obsessed with Dairy Boy. Their socials right now is so good. So Dairy Boy is a brand created by Paige Lorenz. American influencer based in Connecticut and she has like a full vibe she's very like has her horses very a little bit Ralph Lauren in a way her fiance is Tommy Paul the oh yes the tennis player yes so she has this brand and she has smashed it with the aesthetic her social team are so good and I feel like this perfect example is because I want to buy yeah one of their pieces they have these PJs did you see the PJ video they did they have like five PJs and each PJ is really cool I really like the like tartan pink one but there's like these striped ones and each one has a different vegetable attached to it so that I was like my one has like a corn and hers was like a tomato and they did this big campaign where you'd wear one of the girls was wearing the pajamas and she was surrounded by the vegetables so she was surrounded by tomatoes and they were all beefing with each other so tomato was like giving out about corn and then corn was giving out about eggplant and it was like it was such a good video and I was like wow I really need a pair of those pajamas now the tartan ones the corn ones are just so cool and i feel like we're obviously getting into autumn like cozy season those pajamas with these slippers i found from go to and they are called on written on top is like in cursive writing ceo of relaxation and they're like hotel slipper kind of vibe love it right yeah that is perfect for like this is really cool yeah i like that whole hotel slipper vibe with love a really cool piece and they're like 25 pounds oh wow yeah really reasonable price reasonable yeah i feel like a nice piece for like payday.

34:08But isn't it funny how a brand can have a bit of a surgence on socials like that? Yeah. It's such a hype that gets everyone talking. Literally across the world. The power of advertising. Insane. She has these pop-ups. For example, she had one quite recently in New York and there's like a line around the corner to get in. Like there's such a hype about Dairy Boy. And they did a cool series of like overheard in the Dairy Boy queue. Dairy Boy line. So cool. I love that. I love that. They're fun. India, have you got anything, any prods you're loving? Got it with you. I love when we have it with us.

34:33The Spex. Are these the ones? Sunglasses. Yes. Come on. I'm so obsessed with these. So my face, I've got a very particular face where I can only suit like big oversized sunnies and like thick frames. These are like Love them so much. Baddie. I saw them in the Venice vlog and I was like, oh my God. Yeah. So good. But I just, I love these so much. Like they're the perfect size. I love the tint because they actually protect my eyes from the sun. Most of my sunglasses are only like tinted with colors. Yeah. I just, I love them so much. and then also I keep them on for the rest of the pod um whilst we were in Venice I tried so the last pod I was looking for a new skin tint and whilst we're in Venice Armani Beauty actually just came up with a new Armani Beauty skin tint and so I was like oh because I wanted like a natural makeup look he was like oh I'm gonna go in with the skin tint you can have a go at it it lasted so well and the color match amazing it felt so light on but you know sometimes with skin tints like you actually you can't really see the product it's just like this is a swipe of makeup on my face.

35:31This is like a good, like a decent amount of coverage without looking too cakey. It's not a foundation, so it's super light. Like I absolutely love it. So that's my new favorite skin tint. And then also these earrings are tiger by the tail. I got compliments on them, but I just love them. They're like really good. They're very unique. Yeah, they're very unique. The shape, they're like kind of rigidness of them. And then they've got like a little gemstone in them. Really cool. I love them so much. That's what I'm loving. What about your days anymore? I have seen a really nice rugby shirt on Arquette.

36:00I've actually done a bit of an order. I think it's actually arriving today. Really? Yeah, they've got really, I'm loving blue. I feel like blue is, I always get attracted to things that are blue. Yeah. And there's a gorgeous blue knit that's sort of got a bit of a V-neck, so perfect for this time of year, so that's coming. Nice. Also a lovely blue, baby blue silk scarf, which I thought would just, yeah. So nice to jump in. I love any outfit. Laneige have launched a strawberry shortcake. Oh, wow. Lip butter. Cute. In like the tube or the pot? No, in the pot. In the pot. the iconic pot I love all their flavours I love that do you remember that show Strawberry Shortcake oh my god of course oh my god yeah I hope they do something with her that would be great they have you that's your social brain just kind of funny yeah it is is Strawberry Shortcake still up and funny it's just up and around it's just up and around yeah that girl's so sweet just like her name do you remember that sorry I just looked over at Indies still wearing her glasses and I'm obsessed do not take them off ma 'am amazing I'll keep them off for you any food anyone's loving I do love a food rack on this pod I always find something Okay, let's drink.

36:57I'm really in my true fruit era. Pretty much every night, which is kind of bad, but it's fruit. It's like 80 % fruit. It's a perfect post-dinner snack. Perfect. But guys, I'm on a smoothie. I've literally been telling so many people, it's so good. I saw it in a shop and I've replicated it at home. Okay, great. It's basically oats, banana, like a nut butter. Nice. Date syrup. Oh, syrup. Syrup. So it's easy and you have it in your... Date syrup. Date syrup. It's so good because it's a bit sweet but it's so healthy. And then coffee, a shot of coffee. Nice. Oh, unbelievable. Lots of ice. Lots of ice.

37:25It's so good in the mornings. Really good. And it's quick and easy. Like, once you get the date syrup, you kind of will have all of those products in your house. Perfect. Yeah. I've got a bit of a random one. Shitake mushroom crisps. I'm sorry. Ooh, nice. They are absolutely amazing. We did like a food dash with Nat, one of our food contributors. And we were like, ooh, that looks really good. So we both bought some. And I've literally never turned back. What's the taste? It's so crunchy. Because I think it's like, it's either air fried or like oven baked. yeah dehydrated oven baked it's like seasoned really well with truffle salt it's just so good and it's healthy so that's my favorite it's just but I like the taste before it's healthy I don't care about the fact that it's healthy the taste is amazing and the crunch you really get the yeah nice all the rivets of the mushrooms yes exactly so so so so good love that you didn't have me for a second but you've sold me I'm glad love that I've really enjoyed this me too brilliant and for those listening if you aren't subscribed please please please subscribe subscribe thank you very much and see you next week bye
