0:58India:Today I'm joined by India and Haria. Haria, it's your first time on our pod. Do you want to introduce a little bit about who you are? Yeah, I am the fashion assistant. I actually took over from your role. It's crazy. Almost a year ago now as well. Really? Yeah. You've been here for ages though. Really? Yeah. I feel like I've been here for like five minutes. But also five minutes. Yeah. Well, I love that. You're both looking incredible. So let me see. Let's run through the outfits first, ladies. India? I will start from my shoes, actually. These are new. I got them from Bista. They're the Marnie Mary Janes.

1:30I don't think I've worn the right socks, though. I feel like you can get away with it because they're dark. What socks would you wear with them, though? Well, because Lola was, like, white.

1:38India:I would go, like, you know, like an oatmeal, like a chunky, like that kind of, like an off-white mockery. Because I only really have black, white, or grey. I don't want to wear grey. Or I would go super bold and go red. Because then it's like, oh, I purposely did it. Fun, fun, fun. Okay, well, anyways, I've got my Marnie Mary Janes on. They're really cool. They give me a couple inches, so. I've got my Tommy Hill figure jeans on. And then this is actually a vintage find from Notting Hill from, I thought it was called, but it's an Acne Studios vintage top, which is great. Such a good shape. I love it.

2:09Did you roll up the sleeves? No, that's how it comes. Oh, cool. And also you can pop the collar up, take the button off. You can do that. Pop the collar up. And also these earrings are new. I got them from a brand called Seal in Gold. They're a bit chunky. love them. They're so good. Very good size. Harriet, another great outfit. What have we got going on today? Thank you. A lot of green, actually. So I'm just wearing these green sliders that I got from Coach for Christmas, which I love. They're actually really comfortable and just quite airy when it's quite hot. Yeah. Running around a lot. Then my favourite cargoes ever, which are H &M.

2:40And they're like, they've got like a buckle at the bottom so you can like cinch them in or like let them loose, which is quite cool. Then underneath this fringe situation, I've got this really fun graphic tee I love that from the Frolic via A which has come really in handy for summer because it's so colorful and then I've just layered it with this like crochet I love this it's really cool from Kiwi & Co lovely summer piece

3:05India:and I have got on I've started with so I've got my Topshop suede jacket that I love and then again another Topshop basic like long white tee and then these are M &S autograph suede like kind of jorts which I kind of love cute bell that I picked up from Mango and then my shoes are just some H &M very nice thanks guys, appreciate it

3:30India:well are we all ready to dive straight into the hot list? yeah there's a lot to talk about there's a lot to talk about but I want to say that the one thing that has been dominating our feeds recently, Monaco everyone and their nan you were in Monaco as well weren't you? I didn't go to the races but I was there on the Saturday for qualifying and guys the vibes the people the people watching is just like insane like the wealth there is just on a whole other level like people are flying in by a helicopter like oh my gosh private jets every two seconds like you see the helicopters landing on the yachts like it's just landing on the yachts yeah landing on like it's a whole other level um but yeah incredible and i love the f1 so we we just went to a bar and watched it there but like being there and hearing the cars like the buzz It literally goes through the city.

4:19So literally, wherever you are, you literally can hear the commotion. Oh my God. I think the coolest thing about Monaco is that, obviously, I can't afford a yacht. Is that people are just watching the F1 from their yachts. Yeah, it's wild. It is literally, like, Lewis Hamilton is driving past the canal or the sea. And people are just chilling. It's just like from your yacht.

4:40India:Louis Vuitton actually did like a whole thing for it where they moved loads of yachts into the shape of their logo. did you see it? It's AI. Is it? No. No, because I saw it too and I was like, oh my gosh, this is the sickest thing I've ever seen and then I like zoomed in and then everyone in the comments is like, if you think this is real, like, and I was thinking, to be fair, how would they have done that? I was like, good God, that budget's crazy but then I was like, well, it's Louis V. I was like, maybe. It's AI. Devastating. So I literally thought the exact same thing. I was like, gosh, how much money went into renting these yachts for the day and then also having to align them in the same.

5:17India:Well, part of me was kind of like, listen, if I've got a yacht Louis V's like, can we use it? I'd be like, you know what? Yeah, like, too short. I'll take it. Like, I just kind of thought they bought it with them, you know? Literally, literally. Bit of like haggling. I can't believe that. Sorry to kill everyone's dream. Oh, well, you know what wasn't AI? Kim K and Lewis Hamilton. Let's talk. Which is realer than we all thought. I've never wanted to be Kim Kardashian ever in my life than the past week. I've actually stalked her on Instagram every single day, even though I follow her. like I know who this woman is.

5:46India:Why did I get excited when he posted her like they're my first friends? With his helmet. Yeah. Like so cool. That was a great picture. She was so good. This is a hot launch. Yeah this is a hot launch. Also it was a clip of her like she was filming in a horizontal view and she was like pointed up filming him taking his second face like prize and I was like oh that's just so cute. She's like a proud mum, a proud girlfriend like screaming proud mum. She's in her lover girl era but like I think they work so well together like my dad hates them really? he's so like pro Lewis Hamilton and she's like she's gonna distract him he needs to focus to win the A championship I think my dad does I feel like also you're not gonna ship their relationship if you don't ship her and also especially F1 fans if you're a mega F1 fan and then you don't really like her then you're just not gonna get on board with their relationship because I have seen a lot of mixed comments like between that but do you also see the champagne spray when she got sprayed because the security guards didn't put up their umbrella Oh I didn't see No So you know how they do the bottle spray at the end of the podium Yeah She got completely laid Who was spraying it?

6:55Everyone I think it was Lewis I mean they were all spraying it but I think Lewis didn't Oh Lewis were aimed at her Scream She's in some hot water though Who? Kim K Over From F1 No

No No So there's two things First of all I don't know if you guys know who Marcus Brundle is Martin Brundle Martin he's always on the ground yes yes yes excuse me i'm actually nearly famous he comes with a different attitude no but you have to have some other level of like i don't know no shame because he gets rejected left right and center he'll walk up to people and they'll just be like yeah and you're like but i'm also like you guys know who this man is like he's a legend like he's great so she's not shy though he'll be like excuse me mate i'm more important than you i rate it but so she got into shit because she didn't respond to him basically i was kind of just smiling around like yeah and then also there's another clip of her taking kimmy anthony's towel off the first place podium and everyone's like you can't just take that like this is another like entitled influencer situation i in my eyes kim kardashian could do no wrong so actually take kimi atali's towel take mine sue me i kind of get it like i get both sides like don't get me wrong if i think you are like you said like if you're a diehard for like anything like f1 tennis wimbledon yeah you'd be annoyed if some random kind of you know to in their eyes nobody any more important than anyone else right they're just a normal person just comes in no if i'm kim k my man's running i'd be like i'm literally because lewis runs his place like basically if he's there i'm also running the place so actually i've not done anything wrong yeah but anyways i also think there's context to it because didn't she take the towel off after she got sprayed so like i don't think they weren't going to come back down to that area anyway so she can have the towel i always love logistics harry's like actually she wasn't going to walk that way she had a different way i actually know kimmy and i saw him walk the other way so like yeah it's actually not that yeah but no it looked like it looked unreal but the one thing that confuse me it's either happening at the same time or in a completely different place alex earl with the aloe trip that's also f1 i'm not entirely sure what's happening it's shape-shifting because alex is everywhere she's everywhere i don't understand i don't get it is there the aloe yacht yeah oh my god you know it started out at the can film festival and then went to monaco afterwards no way this is the world's longest branch i was gonna say so can was like three weeks ago i know and it's just been sailing but it's a cruise isn't it and has it interchanged with influencers or is it the same group?

9:27I don't really know. I feel like it has changed. Like the crowd that went to Cannes isn't always, because in previous years where Monaco has landed on similar time to Cannes, whereas now Monaco is a lot later than Cannes usually is, than Cannes was this year. So I think it probably has a different audience, which is probably to their benefit to have more reach for different influencers. Monaco and the F1

9:50India:does feel quite American these days. Yeah, true, true, true. I see why, but they branded everything the dumbbells were branded really jet skis everything no way and the crowd can we talk about the lineup we've got stussy baby stella jones jake shane alex earl who else was this apparently there are some other people because i was reading the comments someone's like oh i feel really bad for that other girl apparently there are some other people who have just not featured in content oh really which i do think that you are that person that's kind of like that's really like that's a tough pill to swallow to be there though are they thinking about that because they're on like a multi-million dollar yacht.

10:26India:Yeah, fares. On a branded jet ski, branded dumbbells, branded like breakfast plates. Like I think they're just... But did you see it really made me... Because obviously everybody wants like, yes, you see all the like professional photographs from it, great. But you know when you see all the TikToks that feel like you shouldn't be there. So Jake Shades yesterday, it's his face and he's filming himself. But Stas and Alex are obviously sat in front of him and they're both going through their camera wall and being like, delete that. Really? Your finger looks better than that. And like everyone's like, I love that.

10:54India:She's a real friend for telling her, her friend, her finger looks weird. And also, I suppose at the end of the day, they're actually just girls. Yeah, that's so us. Like, that's how we are with our friendship groups. Like, actually, you don't look that great in that. So maybe delete that and post that one instead. Yeah, that's a girl's girl. Yeah. Also, the content from Jake Shane. He's hilarious. So Stella Jones is a, I think she's a UK or British model. Yeah. Obviously, she's been in the limelight the past couple of days. Yeah, icon. Her TikTok is just Jake Shane memes. And Jake Shane is just like himself, but he's just hilarious.

11:21there's a video of him on her tiktok and he's done an ice bath and he's getting out and he's like oh i've never seen anyone react so badly from an ice bath and this isn't the first second or third time i've seen him do an ice bath and fail but also he does the pilates as well and he's like

11:36India:there and his legs are like shaking but also why does he go into the ice bath like he's getting baptized he goes head first i'm not like i don't think you need to put your head under i think you get the benefits without and no one he's honestly oh my god it's hilarious he's the funniest he's an icon like actually suffering yeah i actually feel bad for him but anyways kind of like an iconic crossover though between like yes the alex sales and the stars of the world like really weird but i mean i don't agree with this but did you see the comment and it was saying how um starcy is like the perpetual plus one i did but it to be fair but low-key she was third wheeling alex and jake like realistically but also like she is known for being kylie jenner's best friend yeah like i was like do you know what though sue me if that was me i'll take it yeah same at least i'm still in the group i'm still at the table i'm still at the table she can make a brand out there you can't hate to melt down the club exactly but i do think it's really funny that this whole allo thing is like brand is like a wellness retreat and they're going out till like 5am Yeah, I guess on the Aloe Instagram, it's like, wellness, peace.

Oh, actually, I was about to say, I wish I was rich enough. But I actually know this. You're on the table. they were spotted there together and I don't know if you saw the picture of Stas and she had like two watches on and one of them was Lando's and she's like this because it was her birthday and she's like this and one of them is Lando's watch what a great birthday card gosh I want to be there yeah who has he dated in the past?

13:26India:do we know? yeah it's like Maggie I think she's Portuguese and I don't want to butcher her name but that's who he's dated before but I think they broke up I think it was very on and off whether they were dating whether they were broken up and since Alex and Lando were spotted together at that beach club she's unfollowed Alex L tea tea that's crazy clearly more going on between Alex and Lando than we thought I'm also kind of like you've been broken up a couple months like I think give it a rest but at the same time I'm not in their relationship but like I do the same thing I will give my five cents but who am I to judge I love that one thing I think would crush me if like it ever came out that Alex L wasn't who we think she is if it comes out and she's like a mean girl or not a girl's girl.

14:10India:Like that would break me because the way I watch her videos, like she's my best mate down the road. It's unhinged. I feel like I'm one of her close friends. Amen, honestly. Speaking of celebs, have you seen that Madison Beer is kind of cancelled? No. Basically, Madison Beer has reported that people are passing out at her concerts and she's on tour right now. Wow. And people are saying that she's faking all of the passes out at her tour. Well, so people aren't actually... So apparently people aren't passing out at her tour and she's just pretending. so there are clips of her going around where she's actually had to stop her show she stopped singing and she's pointing out into the crowd being like they're passed out go help them to the security and she's like oh the security is so bad like they're not paying attention they're not seeing these people passed out but i can see them from the stage so like go and she's very like go find them find them find them wow district 12 go okay like they're passed out and she's um expressed her concerns and been like the security haven't been great in that situation because they've not helped them and i've had to stop the concert and point them out right and this influencer from america called noah miller has come out and been like who the hell is passing out a madison beer concert like it's all for publicity yeah at all because why would you pass that madison beer concert and i don't know how i feel i i don't think she's lying because that is a crazy thing to make up that people are passing out but yeah i do agree with noah miller who is passing out hardcore fans at the front i do think so obviously off the back of the tragedy from the travis scott and whatever yeah i do think celebrities use it to be to make themselves more likable because obviously the reporting i suppose there's this whole like your social reputation right it's all this discourse about what you're like and you're so overanalyzed right and obviously when people see that oh my god they're such an incredible artist they spotted so and so passed out they came and helped their fans sometimes they're just doing it to get good publicity on there so i kind of kind of could see who she is yeah we have seen like some viral clips of like i think when billy eilish was getting like dragged in the crowd and i think she called someone out for doing something bad and it went viral and everyone's like billy we love you like you're great blah blah blah so i guess i love fishing for that yeah i think those people would try and fish for that especially as you're saying in an age where yeah unfortunately we had the travis scott tragedy there are so many more eyes on like these concepts and tools that's so bad though to use that i know you're that desperate to get people to love you yeah you're pretending like a really weird it's so right i hope all the things you could try and get publicity from to yeah that people are passing i know that's just not like it's not even a positive thing yeah i hope it's not true and i hope people like well i don't hope people are passing out but like i hope it's just not for publicity india's just like where are the hard yeah like where are the hard Who and why is passing out?

She's allegedly Supposed to be getting married at Madison Square Garden Don't you think that's the oddest I get it from a sports And music fusion point of view but like still of all the places you can get married I would have heard to go back to the barn where she sang in the Hannah Montana movie and get married there go back to your roots remember where you came from that's what I'm expecting like a little like a wholesome like small kind of you know like old school small family vibe that's so random is it confirmed no but I did see a clip on TikTok that allegedly it's like a whole Wagatha Christie situation Wagatha Christie what is that you know Colleen Rooney and you don't know what that is Well, I know Agatha Christie, but I don't know Agatha Christie.

This like captivated the British nation like a year and a half, two years ago. So essentially what's happening with Taylor Swift is that she's sort of done apparently the same situation where she's trying to figure out who in her inner circle is leaking stuff. so she's told someone that madison square garden is going to be her like wedding venue yeah to see who's leaked it and it's obviously been leaked because everyone now knows my gosh i do think at that point though the trust must be so hard like so hard people are so desperate like people must sell like anything that you can give them that's crazy to me though like but at the end of the day like you are her friend like you are her friend why would you even want to like risk it yeah tarnish okay but moving on right i have one other thing on the hot list i really want to discuss have you guys kind of seen that in the beauty industry as of now skincare and kind of skincare beauty has honestly taken over everything yeah so like i don't know if you've seen it but recently refi launched these kind of water blushes so they're like watercolor for your skin so instead of like although they are really quite pigmented they're not kind of selling it as a really really pigmented blusher it's selling as almost like a light watercolor and a wash of color to your face so kind of when people would say like your cheeks are flush something like that this is the vibe and similarly so you know mary phillips she is kendall jenner and hayley boulder and hayley bieber's makeup artist she has come out with this incredible what looks like an incredible foundation but it's a skin serum and again the way that kind of i suppose those girls and the way she does their makeup everything is very much kind of skincare it's all very like sheer radiant and it's just been everywhere and i just wonder do you think that this is kind of like a fad or do you actually think that this is kind of here for like the longevity of it i think it is going to stick and it is going to be here for a while because i was just thinking of like the clean girl versus the non-clean girl maximalism yeah like aesthetics and i think like initially you're you would place like this sort of like makeup trend into the clean girl aesthetic yeah but i actually think it's more like the messy type b sort of makeup vibe because in my mind clean girl is going for like foundation actually more makeup just making it look makeup non-makeup yeah yeah no makeup makeup yeah yeah but then this like light watercolory like makeup trend is less energy yeah and lazy for the type b's and i think like the type b girl is in trend right now or like just being lazy being a bit bit messy and being the yeah the chaos yeah being yourself and just like not taking things too seriously is more in and i guess like that sort of makeup trend is a product so interesting actually that actually you'd put it in in the type of category of a type a that because i just think of myself i'm so type b and i would rather like i use a skin tint or i just use concealer over like an actual foundation or like i use a lighter um blush over anything or i use lip tints over lipsticks or just a lip line and lip balm just because i've not got time i literally sometimes have to put my makeup in my handbag as I'm leaving the house to do it on the tube.

21:39And so I'm like, what can I fit in here? It's got to be light, it's got to be small and compact and just quick. And I can use my hands. And exactly, less is more. So I'm just like, actually, that whole vibe is more for me as opposed to someone I could sit down and do their makeup. Interesting inside.

And it's so good for summer. like they have this like bambi print print like pink it's like the top's a bit satiny but the trousers like full bambi print sequins oh wow oh my gosh imagine going out and i've yeah yeah they do um they do maximalism so well so like they just strike the perfect balance like the sequin boxer shorts still obsessed i think that is their whole thing is like the box your boy stealing your boyfriend's boxer shorts thing but they've made it cool like they have this sort of waistband of a box that has their branding on it and then the shorts have really fun patterns yeah like they're just so pretty yeah and somehow it's still not overbearing like yeah i've not seen anyone wear anything from handover and i've been like oh that's a bit yeah how have they managed to put print on sequin on stripe on this on that and it still looks really cool it's right there's so many different textures but i suppose it's like i think i believe it's actually a spanish brand and the The girl who's the creative director, she's just got the eye.

And this is their first, I think this is the first time they've ever done bags. they come in loads of different colors it's a really cool shape so it's like a i don't know how to describe without showing you but it just looks like that okay so it's a really nice shape but the cool thing about it is they've got this like clear compartment at the front of your bag and the idea is to like dress it up with like really cool bag charms and like put photographs and like polaroids in that section like your chewing gum or like a haribo packet just to like add personality and make your bag really fun so it's really really cool they come in different sizes and loads of different colors and then also guys this film i watched on monday obsession oh i've heard i've not watched it because i'm not a scary film gal i think i went with my boyfriend he doesn't like horror movies but you need to watch it really aside from the horror and the scares and the jumps it's just okay just a few things aside from like the whole premise of the it's just it's just such a good movie the acting is amazing the cinematography like the way it's filmed I don't know anything about angles types of cameras they use but like as I was watching I was like damn I want to get into directing I want to get into filmmaking just because I was actually focusing more on like the way it was filmed as opposed to the actual film yeah there's just yeah there's certain scenes that you would watch and be like oh my gosh they did this because of this person or they did this because she's going through this.

25:44I thought it was amazing but also as a horror fan, I do love horror movies. It's amazing. The jump scares are great. I've not screamed ever at a horror movie in the cinema and I screamed. Really? Were other people screaming? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it's also really funny as well.

25:59India:That would set me off. Hearing other people scream would make me jump but I'd be like, no, I can't do this. It's so good. It's a bit gruesome. It can get a bit gruesome but it's so good. It's so, so good. You guys need to watch it. I can't. No, please. Do you know how I watch horror movies? Love. In the years? Love. In silence. It has to be in silence. That's the only way I'm watching it. I kind of get it. Like, in silence, with a blanket, like, volume has to be loud so I understand what's happening. Yeah, lights have to be on. Yeah, oh, oh. Lights have to be on. Are you joking? Are you watching it in the dark?

26:27I don't know why. The one time I did it.

26:28India:Yeah, I watched it in the dark. I don't know why. Dramatic effect. Oh, my God. No, I kind of agree with you. I find that slightly psychopathic about myself. I don't know why I'm watching it with the lights on. No, same. It does make it scary, like really, really scary because I think there's someone behind me, but like that's the whole point of it. God, you love a thrill, don't you? Yeah, I do. The thing I'm loving is the furthest thing from that. Okay. Like the girliest thing, no flip flops. I love flip flops. Because I am like 70 years old now, the fact that there is a brand that do flip flops, but with the inbuilt arch.

And you know what? there's this running shop like it's a legit running shop okay in leeds it's like serious runners go that they sell archies i was like screaming i have to go into a running shop wearing like my little girly outfit to be like can i just grab these people please like how jokes but i was just like when you're on a city break and like i want to look cute but equally i want to be comfortable yeah oh my god the ache that i get in my hips and my legs when i've worn like flat shoes all day i'm like this is this is not well that's such a good point i like typed it in And I was like, you know, with an arch.
