In short

The SheerLuxe episode covers wardrobe “elevation” basics (especially ironing), travel inspiration, and dating/social dilemmas. Guests Lucia and Lou (plus host Nalara Champong) discuss monochrome and colorful outfit styling, including a TK Maxx campaign built around “treasure hunt” shopping and investing in timeless silhouettes.

Key claims

ironing a simple outfit (e.g., white tee + white trousers) makes it look chic; first-date pay should follow who initiates the date, but ongoing “expectation” is a turnoff; there should be no age limit on clubbing—it's a mindset.

Notable examples

spontaneous Cotswolds day trips (diddly squat, trout farm, Newt gardens, fairy-tale Castle Cary station), Cornwall girls weekend (blankets, Sex and the City), and V&A East in Stratford. Celebrity talk includes James Bond casting rumors (Callum Turner/Harris Dickinson/Idris Elba/Theo James) and Taylor Swift wedding guest-list speculation (Karlie Kloss, Blake Lively).

While supplies last, all rights reserved. 2026 McDonald's at FIFA World Cup 2026. On this week's Sheerlucks podcast, we talk about the items you need in your wardrobe to instantly elevate any look. It's not really an item, but I would say it's ironing.

40Amen to that. I will iron like a sarong if we're going to the beach. Also, who should pay on a first date? Is chivalry dead? If I've come up with a date, then this is on me. Do you know what I mean? I actually enjoy that feeling. And lastly, is there an age limit on when you should stop clubbing? I think it's so mean to put an age limit on that. It's a mindset thing. If you want to be out partying till 4am, dancing on the tables, amen to you. I was dancing on the tables in Saint-Tropez last week. Make sure you tune in. It is a great episode.

25Welcome back to the Sheerlots podcast. I'm your host today, Nalara Champong, and I am joined by Lucia and Lu. Hi, ladies. Today we're going to be diving into the latest beauty news, breaking down celebrity stories and everything everyone's talking about. Plus we are going to be talking about your dilemmas. But before we get into that, please make sure that you press the subscribe button. It really does help us out wherever you listen to your podcast and all of your comments really do help us as well. So thank you. But before we get into it, let's talk about what we are wearing today, ladies. Lou, I'll start with you.

04What are you wearing? I have got a very monochrome palette on today, very matching with Lucia. I've got a lightweight cream cashmere V-neck knit on, some cream satin pants, black ballet pumps, my husband's black knit around my waist, and one of the sort of pendant thong necklaces. I love it. Yeah, I love that necklace. It's gorgeous. Lucia? I've got this lace blouse situation with frog buttons, which everyone in the office is loving. Daisy has a Zara version. And then black sand pants and my ballet pumps, which I've done a million miles in. I have gone for all the color. Surprise, surprise. So I've got this amazing blue technical jacket, blue leather skirt, and blue mules.

54what's so amazing is that you're wearing from three different brands yeah and the colors just go doesn't that make you feel so happy when you buy yeah i can't say happens all the time where i like match my colors yeah but um where they're like the perfect perfect shade yeah no definitely glowing blue yeah it really is so much oh thank you lady oh yeah and i've also got on some tortoiseshell aviator glasses that are kind of slightly tinted so cool they they just like fit your face perfectly i actually didn't even register that you were wearing sunglasses inside well i thought i feel like if you were doing that i would be like do you not think they're tinted glasses or do you think they're sunglasses they're definitely sunglasses you think i don't know i think i think because i can see your eyes i'd say they're tinted glasses yeah really yeah but i but i think hot debate let us know in the comments whether you think I'm wearing sunglasses.

49I'm going to start wearing my... I know what you mean, that sometimes it feels a little off-brand to wear colored glasses in the office. But I feel like Nana gives celebrity presents. Yes, you do. I didn't even register it.

08Now we've broken down everything we're wearing, we are going to get into things that we're currently loving. Lucia, I'm going to start with you. okay so obviously I'm making my personality that I just moved to London which it hasn't been that long it's been a year now and I'm still going on about it but the nice thing about moving country is that you have this new lease on life in the like fact that you want to go exploring everywhere I never had that desire when I was in Sydney and Henry and I like last Friday night we were watching Clarkson's Farm which I've recently gotten into as well and we're like you know what like we have no plans this weekend we should just drive down oh my god i love that so much i love a spontaneous activity especially on a weekend yeah i think it's the best part about being an adult oh my god i mean a spontaneous trip we actually the bank holiday weekend on when it got to the wednesday i was like i'm not staying here there's going to be a heat wave yeah yeah yeah yeah so on the thursday at five o 'clock we booked flights to go to italy and went to italy the next day literally so much fun yeah we're just allowed to do that because well you can also like you could never do that in sydney obviously because you don't have europe on your doorstep yeah i always like the idea of doing it with paris as well but like yes yeah let's just go to paris except the euro star was like 300 i know but also we just rented a car for the day like we didn't stay overnight yeah so what did you do when you got down there we went of course to the i think it's called diddly squat yeah the like shop we got a burger it was so good a rhubarb cider and we got a beer and then we went to another sort of area of the cotswolds i can't remember what it's called but we went to a trout farm i fed the fish oh it was i was like that's such a wholesome day and we was like i feel like i'm taking my child i was like throwing out the fish and then i was like oh my god we could feed the ducks as well and i got my hand down then the ducks I bit my hand so that kind of ruined it.

09So then you were like okay that's it. The Cotswolds is so so big though like it's such a vast advance to explore it's like it's one of my favorite parts of the UK it's so nice. I'll go back for sure. Oh yeah we actually I went to the Newt on a brand trip and I've never actually been this been on my wishlist to go for ages and they have the gardens that you can go to which I went in like pre-lockdown I think. and going this time of year it is so beautiful and also like the food the produce is so good and also I don't know if you got the train but the local station is called Castle Kerry and that is the chicest train station I've ever been to there is like no Greg's and W.H.

52Smith there, it is like the most beautiful farm shop, they have this creamery there's like an old Pullman train which you have like afternoon tea It's kind of like a fairy tale train station. And there's a sign that says like footpath to town centre. I just thought how cute. Just kind of walking through the side. I was like, I love it here. You're like, I've made the right decision. Yeah, like walking through Bristol Night Club and I'm like, oh, okay. Yeah, that's a different sign. And it's raining in June still. It's quite different. Lou, what are you loving at the moment? on the topic of travel i actually did a girls weekend trip to cornwall and it was with two of my oldest school friends it was just us so like no husbands no boyfriends no babies and it was heaven i can't express how slow time felt like there was on the saturday day honestly it was like someone just kept pushing the clock back we were like how is it only 11 we've done so much like just to be on your own schedule and I was like I can't believe this is what our life used to be like yeah free responsibility and anyway it was so nice my friend lives right towards Penzance like Newland right at the edge so we went to Sennon we went into Newland we just kind of potted around we did a little coastal walks and just that time with I felt I don't know about you guys but i feel like when you try and get a dinner in after work it's quite rushed yeah you know it really depends on what your day has been like you know what's going on i so agree it's like you're not your best self totally any kind of two hours can go in and you're just like i'm starting to flag i've got a long journey home whatever yeah but i feel like a weekend away you are all peak yeah yes completely and you can like fully relax and you just have those moments of just like hanging out rather than having to feel having to like catch up and have conversation and we watched Sex and City box sets and sat on blankets in the garden and just felt like reminisced about being 14 and it was just like so good for the soul having that time together and it was heaven.

59Also nice being by the ocean Oh my god and that area of Cornwall is so beautiful. That's another I was saying to you I've never been to Cornwall I really yeah it's amazing go together on Nana and Lucia on tour love that we'll do our own girls trip Nana and Lucia take Cornwall it's also like a microclimbing like always the weather looks like it's going to be shit it looks so it's going to be cloudy and rainy in the beginning in the morning it kind of looks like that and then it just always ends up clearing up and the sea there when the sun comes out it is crystal clear it is so beautiful that's it pictures and videos that I've seen like you can't you look at it and think you can't believe this is England.

38It's like you could be abroad somewhere and that's like I really want to experience that. It's really amazing. Go off season as well. It's really beautiful. Get a date in, babe. It's all in. What about you, Ben? I am really loving, so it's not super new, but the V &A has opened in East London in Stratford, which is basically - Oh my God, it's the most amazing building. Isn't it gorgeous? Yeah. So they've opened an East London version. And it is stunning. Like the money that they've put into that. Oh, it's insane. Really great for the area. I live in East London, so it's literally like on my doorstep.

16Whereabouts in East London? So it's kind of like near the Olympic Park, in between the Olympic Park and Westfield, I would say. So in Stratford, yeah. But it's like right by the canal. Like Charlotte and I went to, we did a talk at LCF. Yes. And we kind of, I hadn't realised that it was there. And I was like, wow, the V &A is here now. Yeah. And, you know, there's a really lovely restaurant and people just sat out in the sun. Yeah. Like such a lovely place to just go and spend their day. Yeah, completely. That area, especially like now that we are going back into summer. Yeah. It'd be really nice to, yeah, just walk around the canals, sit around there, exhibitions that they've got on.

54There's one that the music is black, which is about the history of black British musicians, which I'm really excited to see. I've not been yet. amazing um but yeah i just think great that the vna is now in east london i'm really excited

14let's talk fashion ladies i mean this is basically our specialist subject this is all we do all day every day in the sherlock's office we're obviously constantly trying to build wardrobes that feel really elevated and kind of say to our readers this is what you need to be buying um so we're really lucky that we've actually been working with tk maxx and we've come up with this massive campaign lou you're actually going to speak more on this so they basically came to us to create a shoot obviously the thing with tk maxx is every store is different there is obviously every store has different products it's not about like a certain capsule or a certain trend that's coming in so it really is like such a treasure hunt going into those stores and finding those pieces like you never know what you're going to get so um when we were working on the shoot we kind of couldn't really come up with the concept until we knew what the product is so emma went in i think she went to like four different stores to pull out the best product and then we did this beautiful shoot and it was really about sort of highlighting that tk maxx can be your go-to for everyday polished items and full outfits so we had this really beautiful like drop hem white dress with this racer back which is like the perfect holiday wardrobe this beautiful like lemon and cream striped shirt with cream tailored trousers this amazing boxy brown blazer which we was like a very nana inspired we just had these kind little shorts and the focus was all about the blazer yeah then we had this sleeveless blazer sort of not really waistcoat because it was much more oversized but then with the big balloon pants and so many kind of not you know like on trend pieces but without feeling like that's gonna date yeah sort of making those pieces you can invest in exactly and make them for capsule but obviously tk maxx kind of comes at like a fraction of the price and just so fun hunting for those pieces so the shoot was amazing the model is incredible when adam and i were going through the edit yeah day i was like i want that skirt i want that jacket i want that blazer so yeah super proud of the final outcome yeah and can't wait for everyone to see how amazing it's i'm so excited to see it because I know like you say, Emma would have done like an amazing job on styling and it is like a treasure hunt.

29Like you've picked out all of those like incredible pieces and putting them all together. Yeah. I live near the one on Kensington High Street. Oh, that was so good. So good. I went in the other day. I feel like everyone has their favorite. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, this one I found a bag and I've been using it. Like I can fit so much stuff in it and it's so nice. My best TK Maxx wind pair of heels. Oh, heels. Heels. Honestly, Chuck was like just impeccable. It's also so fun because you never know what you're going to find. No. Like you probably go in looking for some bubble baths. Yeah, literally.

04I've gone in for some bath salts. They have the gold label, which is their designer highlights. And I found a pair of sunnies in there. And I was so excited. There was one in Clapham Junction. And I remember once my train was really delayed. And I was like, okay, well, I'll just go and have a little browse. Yeah. And came across these sunnies. And I was like, what a win. Yeah. And that's the thing as well. If you spot something in TK Maxx, buy it there and then. Oh, yeah. Don't think about it. No, don't think about it. Like, literally just get it. And you also won't regret it either. Like, that's, it's literally, like, you kind of feel like you've won, like, a little bit of the lottery.

38Oh, yeah, it's so proud. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. Like, it's a really, it's a great feeling. Also, the fact that every store is different and also online stock is different. Like, it really is just, like, such a fun hunt. Yeah. Trying to find those key pieces. So, yeah. So, I want to talk about the art of styling when it came to the shoot what can you tell us about that in this instance i would say it was kind of less is more i think we went for a slightly more like paired back approach to really give this kind of aesthetic of kind of minimal clean beautiful elevated um without it being too fussy like sometimes i think you know it's all about adding like the power accessories to really like build upon a look but this was really about focusing on like the silhouettes and the structures of the pieces and like the beautiful like craft friendships and the colors and not over complicating it which you know is not something i think there's not like a hard and fast rule of what you should do i think it was more about the vibe and that's what we wanted to do for this so yeah just really highlight the the pieces because like they were so beautiful sometimes they kind of didn't need we didn't need to over complicate it yeah i would love to know what is the one item that instantly elevates an outfit.

50This is really random and it's not really an item but I would say it's ironing. Oh my gosh. I hate men to that. Honestly, no one, my friends laugh at me because I will iron like a sarong if we're going to the beach and they're like, but we're going to go and sit on the beach. And I'm like, I don't care. I'm not leaving this room if it's not ironed. It just, like if you had it, I saw an influencer post an outfit the other day and it was literally just a white t-shirt and white trousers. and it was like, the caption was something around like, it's really simple but I just ironed it and that is what made it look really chic and I think that is, can honestly make or break an outfit.

30Actually I'm wearing these trousers today and they've been pressed and I can see there's a line here and it's really irritating me that I haven't pressed it out so I didn't see the side of it so it hurts me. I'm now like self-conscious, how far I'm on that? Some things, like this for example, I did iron it but it just creates it so. No that's fine, yeah, yeah. You're fine, you're fine. If we've learned one thing from this campaign, it is that you can buy some amazing designer pieces for a fraction of the price tag. So if you are feeling inspired by all of that fashion chat, you need to get yourself down to TK Maxx or online or they've got an app.

11Let's get on to celebrity guys. What celebrity topics are we loving this week? James Bond firstly yeah there's been a lot of buzz again I feel like what's the newest in the last couple of years it's been there's been a lot of chat about who it's going to be a lot of polls Idris Elba he was dropping Idris yeah Stamps and Idris there were talks of it being a woman as well at one point I think the rumor mill has been going yeah what's the latest that you've heard the latest at the moment I think is Callum Turner is hot apparently it's between four people yeah so we did we did a little poll in the office the other day.

48I think it was Callum Turner. Yeah. Jacob Lordy. No. Okay. Aaron Taylor Johnson or Harris Dickinson. And I think between Harris and Callum Turner. Harris is an interesting one. But if I had to pick someone, if I was casting, I would say Theo James. Theo James would be a good one. Yeah, that would be a really good one. I mean, he's like very classic James Bond. They're not trying anything new whatsoever. but he just like gives James Bond energy. Yeah. He so does. Why is he not in the ring? I think he has been dropped in. Who knows? Also, when is this happening? Like I feel like Daniel Craig that last show, it was so long ago.

29Like when are we getting a new James Bond? I think they've only just started casting. I don't know. I feel like it's just rumor mill, but who do you guys think would be the best? Callum. Callum. Callum Turner. He's such a funny. Because obviously there's so much talk about them at the moment when Julie Poe and their wedding whether there's like too much noise around him. But I feel like I can't name, like I know he's an actor, I can't name anything that he's in. So I feel like it would be quite good for him to imprint or, do you know what I mean? You have no previous conceptions of him. I think you do want that with someone actually.

03I think maybe that Athea James has been like cast. Like White Lotus or Aaron Taylor Johnson is too much. Yeah, like he would be great. I just still see him. what was it like super bad yeah super bad yeah like i just see him as this little 14 year old yeah i love that film angus songs in the perfect yeah yeah yeah yeah so maybe not aaron i would still go with idris elba would you yeah he'd be great he's just a bit too old now i think he's too old like you've got someone that's got like like how many james did daniel craig do like five so yeah i guess maybe i don't think jacob i don't think it can be someone that's not british no no And I think he's also too well known.

46Yeah, has done too much now. He's got his Bottega campaigns. I think it does need to be someone that is sort of like clean slaves. Sorry, can I just talk about, can we talk about Kendall and Jacob for a bit? I saw this thing and it was like when I asked God for something, he doubles it and gives it to Kendall Jenner. And I don't really get jealous of anyone. I was like looking at these pat photos of Kendall and Jacob and I was like, you have got it all. Do you know what I mean? She's a supermodel. This guy, she's got big eyes flocking to her. Who was her previous boyfriend, Dennis? Yeah, Bad Bunny.

24But also her black book of boyfriends. It's incredible. Go her. Go Kendall. Speaking of Bad Bunny, actually, I am going to see him at the end of this month. Are you? Yeah, he's playing at Tottenham Hotspurs. There's so much going on. I'm really jealous of everyone going to Harry Styles. Yes. I am going to that a lot. Yeah. Nana's going like four times. Four times. Share. I know. Okay. So, Nana, I know you're not a. I'm not a Swifty. I know where this is going. But Taylor Swift's wedding, when do we think it's going to be? Do you think it's this summer? Oh, yeah. There is. I think it's definitely this summer.

02But people are debating whether it's in New York or Rhode Island. I think Rhode Island. I don't think she'd do New York. Are you great? Yeah. If you had Rhode Island, why would you do it in New York? I think she needs like space. She needs space. And countryside. And yeah, it's not giving New York energy to me. And apparently Karlie Kloss is invited. Is invited. Yeah. So I don't know the beef of this. Can you fill us in? Yeah, you need to fill me in. So they used to be best, best, best friends. I remember that. And then they had a falling out. I don't know the intricacies of it, but it was quite like they were seen everywhere together.

32And then she was seen at a concert. Karlie Kloss was. The Taylor Swift concert. But she wasn't in the VIP section. Interesting. she was in the crowd so then there was rumblings of is she trying to like reach back out because Taylor's obviously going to find out about that and now they think that she's invited to the wedding. Okay. I would love that I would love that for them. Yeah I'd love that. What about Blake? I would really, the Blake thing I'm more upset about. Same, I think Blake should be invited. And also like she's godmother to her children I think she will be invited, I don't think Taylor would do that my close friend Taylor wouldn't do it like that She wouldn't do it.

11So I'm excited for the wedding to happen. But more excited about the guest list. Yes. Of who's going. That would be. It's going to be a who's who. If I could pay any amount of money to go to anything, it would be Taylor Swift's wedding. Seriously. Probably not. But I would like to go. But it would be up there. Yeah. How much would you pay to go? I don't think I'd want to go. I love her music. Do you think she'll sing? No. I think I go to Sharon and I'll sing. I reckon she'll sing. Maybe a weird duet with Ed. I don't think she'll sing on her own because that's weird. Yeah. To get up and do a performance at your own wedding, surely.

47I would. I actually probably will. You definitely do. I'm not Taylor Swift. Are you a singer? Are you a singer? No. But I would love to perform. Have that moment. Because there's no other time when it's all about you. So I want to bang out some. I love that. Bang out some hair. I want my moment. I'm going to be in a I think you get that at your birthday as you're my man you're getting married at my birthday it's not undivided attention it would be weird if you broke out into something at your wedding wait so you so you think your wedding day is more about you than your birthday yeah really yeah I'm just agreeing surely that's like about you guys as a couple it's about me no it's 15 % him 85 % me do you think do you not think that no But see, you'd be a lovely prop.

40Lovely and equitable. She was a lovely bride. It was a 50-50 split. I didn't get a full wedding, so maybe that's why. Oh, yeah, because you were during COVID. Yeah, we were COVID, so we were like, let's, a lockdown. Let's throw you a wedding. It's going to happen. Let's do a 10-year wedding. I want to do it next year. Yeah. Oh, that would be amazing. Yeah, I'm really ready. I need a proper hen party. Oh, my gosh. All of that. a wedding dress yeah um yeah so i'm gonna join the other five brides we are going on to hot topic okay so i had a phone call with my mum the other day and i was like oh you know do you have any chips coming up yeah what are you doing and she was like I was kind of expecting her to say no.

35And she was telling me, she was like, yeah, we actually do have a trip coming up in July. We're going to Europe. It's like my family lives in Australia, by the way. Like I haven't seen them since January. I was like, oh, am I coming? She was like, no, no, no. This is just with Craig, my stepdad. And Sabella, Nicholas and Alex. And I was like, those are my three other siblings. So I'm one of six. And I was like, oh, fantastic. I want to know at what age is it okay to not invite some siblings? So do the others all live at home? I'm quasi yes. So two of them do. And Sabella, my sister, she's at uni, but she comes back during her mid-semester break.

16So she'll be on mid-semester break. I would say if you're living at home, you're invited. Yeah. If you don't anymore, maybe then that's another conversation. But like I come from a spot, it's only me and my brother. So like the idea of like one of us being invited and the other one not. That would be brilliant. So I'm the same as you are. So I'm one of five. And we would always do family holidays together like when we were younger. But as we're all adults now, like no one lives at home. The rule is, my mum and dad's rule, as long as they have at least one kid each on a holiday, they're fine. So like my dad will sometimes have like two, my mum will have three.

55Wait, so your mum and dad would do separate holidays with separate children? Yeah, because they don't always, like, it's not everyone can, like, we can't, our schedules, we can't all go on holiday, like, together. But do your mum and dad don't want to go on holiday together? Yeah, they do. Okay. But they'll go. Okay. But then if it's, like, a family one, like, a prime example is Christmas. We are always split on where we want to spend Christmas. So, like, some people want to do it in Ghana. Yeah. Some people will want to do it in America because we've got family there. So my dad will have my older sister and my little sister in Ghana with him.

29And then me and my mom will go to America. Wow. Wait, but then your mom and dad don't get it together. Yeah, no, they're fine. They have the rest of the year together. They're just like, yeah. So that's like an example. And is there like politics around that? Is there ever like, no, like I want to go there or like. No, it's just whoever wants to go on holiday at whatever time. you're like, oh, I'll come on this one, or I'll go on that one. Maybe that's what I'm moving towards. But would you like the option? Would you like to have been asked? Hell yeah, I would have loved to. But then in that instance, would your parents pay for them?

05And then would you be expected to pay for yourself? I would hope not. I would hope that would not be the case. Mother, if you're asking, I really hope not. Would you then call your siblings and be like, guys, we're not invited? no because I'm I'm acting in self-interest I just need to make sure I'm sorted I'm not worried about you guys mom can I come I really want to come join you yeah like I could be invited no no but she'd probably be like no oh we have a great relationship I go on plenty of holidays so I'm not feeling too and to be honest yeah you're not hard done yeah but I just was a bit like oh great oh yeah i know it has it's like happened to me before where i've like found out like other siblings on holiday and you're like but why has no one told me about this like i would have wanted to have come like as well whoever doesn't want to go on holiday no exactly or even like again it's like even if my mom and dad go on holiday like just those two i'm like but did you not think to ask me.

11Like, I could have come as well. We would have had a great time together. You guys don't need a couple's trip? Yeah. Not me. Your poor daughter. Literally. No, what's your hot topic? Okay, so, do you guys know William Henson? Yes. So, he is, so he's like the etiquette expert. Oh. And he is like a true English gen. He actually went to my school. Did he? Unpacked. And he, Anyway, go on his Instagram or his YouTube. He just does a variety of topics from the correct way to eat a scone to a finger sandwich to putting a napkin on your lap. Anyway, I saw a segment with him and Alan Carr and they were talking about who pays on first dates and traditionally in a heterosexual couple, the man is expected to pay and Alan was asking in a gay couple who should pay.

08and he said that whoever initiates the date should pay, and actually that should also be the same for heterosexual couples. Yeah. Discuss. No. No, just no. No, I half agree, but I've never asked anyone out on a date, to put it that way. And would you never, like out of principle? I've just never had to. I don't know. You don't love it. I don't know. Would I ask someone? I think I would. Or if you were dating someone, and then you were like, I don't know, say if it's not the first date. Yeah. Say it's then, you're making plans. Oh, I get that. Yeah, yeah. After the first date. After the first date.

50Yeah, yeah, no. Then would you? Or would you still expect? No, I wouldn't. I would always offer. Okay. I hope that they wouldn't take me up. Is it an offer of like, let me get the best. No, I actually, I really enjoy when you're dating. Like, if I've come up with a date, then this is on me. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, that's lovely. I actually, like, enjoy that feeling. Yeah. So I definitely would pay. I think first date. First time. Chivalry. For some reason, that's still so ingrained in me. Yeah. The idea that, like. That needs to be shown. Yeah, I definitely wouldn't be then. I wouldn't like the expectation that they have to.

28And I also wouldn't like if they just, like, continued to push that, like that's what they must do. Yeah. I don't like that. No, so agree. That is then your role. Yeah. Like I think it's really nice. Like I love like treating like my parents or something or like paying for dinner. Yeah, that's it. I really like you say, I just enjoy that feeling. Yeah. So it's actually, that's a nice way to show like love and affection. But you also then, I think if you're continuously expecting them to pay, it's a bit like freeloader-y vibes. Yeah, I agree. Also there's things about sort of like being a gentleman that don't, don't mean that like a woman is weird and like has to do everything.

10Like there's, there's very much different things that I think that can mean. And it doesn't need to come down to monetary value. No. This episode is brought to you by Google Chrome. 31:47Moving on to dilemmas, my favourite part of the podcast. Number one that I've got here, what age should you stop clubbing? I think there is one. I think it's so mean to put an angel in there. Yeah, completely. It's a mindset thing. If you wanna be out partying till 4am, dancing on the tables, amen to you. I was dancing on the tables in Saint-Tropez last week. I was gonna say, I feel like you, maybe as you grow older and mature, the clubs become slightly more elevated. So instead of being in Inferno's, you're at Luggering's. Yeah, maybe, yeah. I'm in Saint-Tropez in a bougie beach club. Yeah. But is that a club?

29Yeah, would you say? Yeah, I don't know. No, I know what I mean. But I honestly, again. In my head, like nightclub is like a dirty dungeon. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But like Ibiza. Yeah. Yeah, that's it. You could be in a super club in Ibiza. Actually, Georgie's in Ibiza. I just saw, I've seen Georgie posting from like BTS, the DJ at Solomon or something. Yeah. It has no limit. It's cool. Totally. It's all about the music as well. I don't know if you are, music is obviously ageless as well and timeless. So go and enjoy the music, go and dance. Exactly. Also like, don't put age limits on anything. No.

04Just like, if you want to live the life you want to live, you should do it. Yeah. What is the fashion trend that you would never wear? I know what yours is. Capris. Capri pants, yeah. Why? I think you have to have, I'm like a fan believer in dressing for your shape. Yeah. And I believe you have to have a certain shape to wear capri pants and them to suit you. Yeah. Right. And I don't have that shape, so. You could definitely pull up. You definitely, yeah, you definitely do. I'm going to try a capri. I think you need a heel, though. I don't know. I don't agree. No, I think you can. I've seen looks with a ballad feathers.

40Yeah, I think you can do a little thong or a little tiny kitten heel. Yeah. I think, I really appreciate it. I can see the vision on someone else. 100%. I'm slightly scarred by my pedal pusher days. of like the early 90s. I used to wear denim pedal pushers. Wait, sorry. That counts as jeans. I know, I know. Oh, that's crazy. No, do you know what? I did wear jeans probably up until like 13. Okay. Okay. Are they going to say like 27? 13. Almost missed years we had together. Well, and then at 13, that's young. And you'd be like, I'm not doing it. Yeah, I'm not doing it. So you found yourself. Maybe that's the age that you became.

18Yeah. Stylist Nana kicks in. But yeah, I'm also scarred by that chine. So you have to have, I think, just the legs to pull it off. And yeah, I can really, they look really good on - Yeah, I appreciate them on other people. Like it's not even that I'd like, hey, but for me personally. I feel like I'm not really a trend, trend person. No. Probably the crop tops, anything really short, like that's kind of giving, show your tummy. and actually really, really high-waisted trousers either. Oh my God, that's a whole outfit for me on holiday. I love our high-waisted trouser and a little crop top. Yeah, they're just, again, it's more of a, just a body shape for me.

03It just doesn't make me feel good about my body or how it sits on me. So it's more, yeah. So yeah, it goes back to what I was saying about just dressing for your shape. I think it's like so important and people kind of neglect that. When you know what shape you're kind of sorted, like when you're shopping, it's just so much easier. Like, you know, I can look at a pair of trousers and jeans and know that they won't fit me. They will, that's my vibe. Yeah. Do you remember, sorry, this is like not a trend that is around or hopefully come back anytime soon. Do you remember knitted vests? Yes. Oh my God.

39Yeah, that was. We used to go out clubbing in knitted vests. What? Did you? A knitted vest? Yeah. Who knitted it? Like not knitted like like almost more like fisherman nets. Oh. Yeah. Yikes. Yes. I know. Honestly, I even like at one time had a glove. A glove? A glove. A knitted glove to accentuate the knitted vest. Wow. Do you remember like leg warmers and arm warmers as well? Oh, guys. That was sad. When was that? That was like early 90s. And like, 90s had some really shit fashion. Yeah. I remember going to a roller disco party and I was like, oh my God, this is peak. I can wear my orange American apparel, like hot pants.

25Yeah. American apparel. Like, doesn't that take, I feel like you're too young for that. No, I was in that era. I like coveted their stuff. Ladies, we could sit here and talk all day about 90s fashion and what we shouldn't be wearing now. But thank you so much. That was such a great chat.
