New setup for us. I mean, it's amazing. I love checking out new hotels. I know. I've been doing podcasts with so much light. It's always amazing. Yeah, the full 360 panel of the windows is so nice. So obviously we are at the new Mandarin Oriental downtown, which is amazing. It's such a beautiful hotel. Their pool is incredible. How insane is that pool? You can see it right from the window. Right before starting this podcast, we were just standing outside and people were like, check out the pool.

1:56It is insane. Because there's a huge lap pool, but then there's an oasis around it that looks like you're on the beach. Literally on the beach. But you're in the middle of the city. So awesome. Amazing.

So you don't feel like, they can be a summer pair of pants. Yeah. And I always size up two sizes when I wear jeans. yeah and then i tailor it because i like the idea i mean i've mentioned this before but i like the idea of like a loose fit yeah i'm i'm i don't do actual fitted jeans never no just not your thing yeah yeah it's not my thing either it's also very uncomfortable because denim in general i mean i'm not a denim girl yeah i don't think i've ever seen you in jeans i've seen her in jeans once i only wear jeans i can't remember where when it's like a cord yeah yeah denim on denim like a canadian tuxedo yeah i love those looks but yeah i'm not i'm not very much a denim girl just because i feel it's very restrictive unless you wear an oversized denim yeah but yeah i don't like the tight fit i don't know how people travel where i travel in jeans do you travel in jeans

3:31Hebah:yeah like if it's not a super long flight i'll wear jeans i'll wear barrel leg jeans if they're like loose yeah but that's fine yeah i i sometimes see people wearing jean shorts no plane no with hard no no open toe no guys are you an open toe person when you travel no are you because i feel like you're thinking there's a calibration no no i was just thinking i'm barely an open toe person in like life yeah i can't do open toe on a plane like the amount of like things that are bacteria luggage hitting your feet oh no yeah yeah and it's cold and it's cold like guys it's so cold on the plane 100 % agree yeah speaking of jeans being restrictive i'm gonna totally side note here have you watched apex the new charlie's theron movie on netflix oh it's really really good very scary and she basically is like a traveler a hiker and she goes to australia i'm not going to give it away but there is a scene where she is hiking up a mountain in jeans no that sounds like my worst nightmare yeah how can you do that no how can you do an incline yeah yeah yeah like they were like super nice jeans and all i could notice was just like how chic her bob look she is really chic anyway you should watch it you guys should watch it we're gonna go into what we're watching because i have a lot to share about what i'm watching but you guys look so gorgeous please tell your outfits let's talk through uh i'm wearing origin studios oh so beautiful she is a dubai-based brand obviously with palestinian heritage and she always tries to incorporate palestinian heritage into her collection oh i didn't know yeah so interesting beautiful like dresses caftans and like i obviously love this prince it's like gingham with it has these little fish and there's like little pockets on the back as what does it say on the shirt origin studio origin studios just so beautiful and also she made it with yellow and then the green trim as well so you can mix and match you can wear the top of the other skirt she's she even made it in a mini and it like immediately sold out as well she's an amazing designer because she has range with her designs like she does like caftans more conservative pieces but then now she's into the summer which is amazing and obviously the material of this is incredible and super flattering and i love like cotton how hard was it to iron actually fun fact it was very quick i mean i talk about this a lot where ironing is our biggest nightmare air of life it is so intense it is yeah it's a hassle some people iron before they sleep who but i i don't know what i'm gonna wear oh you mean their outfit their outfit oh i thought you meant like for fun oh my friend every time she does the laundry she irons everything wow and then she puts it in the closet yeah and i was like oh wow is she dedication is she also a friend that unpacks her suitcase as soon as she arrives yeah but i do that for a good week definitely i unpack as soon as i touch down yeah it's weird you i unpack my suitcase but i don't put it away yeah so i'll remove everything which will pile up in like on a chair or on the floor if it's like just dust bags and the designated chair yeah we all have a definitely although now i'm remodeling my home and there's no chair there's no chair anymore she removed the chair from my bedroom so I'm like putting it on the dresser.

6:58Yeah, there's going to be corners. Oh, I need to find some sort of solution. I need to do like a poof something. A poof. A poof. Or even if it's like a rod that hangs on my wall, something to put some clothes. That's a good idea. You should see my, so obviously we shoot content every Wednesday. Wednesdays, my husband Rami knows that it is just a disaster tornado situation because I'm like pulling out things. I'm like, what am I going to wear?

7:20Hebah:Get the IKEA really easy to make. it's like a little uh holder yeah for your clothes it's like a little it's what i used when we would do pop-ups for the for the brand yeah but i just feel it's not it ruins aesthetic of the room yeah it's definitely not a study no it's happening there my interior designer will definitely disagree she'll be like absolutely you're not gonna have this in the middle of the room i have a couch not a chair in my room for sure and the couch like it's always my issue where it will just compile so I'll have my new self on the couch to see that I should wear these things I wouldn't put it in the closet yeah you want to be able to look at it so have you ever seen your couch that have you I've never actually sat on the couch just like your clothes it's just a clothing rack just accumulate so now I have I don't want to talk about it it's giving me anxiety every day I'm like one day one day it's a lot although I did for I did I did hire someone for by the way my biggest thing is I hire everything for everyone I'm just like outsource outsource outsource um i hired someone to do my kitchen um organizing amazing and so she also does closets wow so the thing is then i'll need to unbox the closet monster yeah and it's like there's too much that it gives me anxiety yeah rather it's another step you have to be ready for it what what i'm waiting for is like let's say i'm manifesting moving into a bigger house which eventually would have more space to have a lot of doing the organization and decluttering will limit that manifestation which makes sense so just somehow that makes sense to me that makes sense leave it as is yeah like it's a later later yeah it's a later problem what about you tell you look so colorful thank you um it is ghani and i got it from unass um i just love the silver buttons and the color i just thought like it was a nice statement piece to have forever yeah essentially and the jeans are the barrel from uniclo i haven't taken them off since i bought them i love them and my pink barbie shoes were given to me from a friend they're paris texas really cute it's really like elwoods yes that's very elwood coated i love uniclo jeans i have a pair and i went to us yeah and i went to my cousin's baby's birthday this past weekend and it was at the paint house okay and kids are painting and i got paint on it and i put it didn't come out didn't come out why don't you splatter it like yeah i could yeah yeah i could i'm making your own version but i wanted that pair of pants because they're a specific color similar to this okay but uniclo but uniclo and so it's like a white denim it's like a almost white cream denim and i really wanted a pair but anyways yeah that's that's my next trip you go to london or the state

10:12on to our first topic things we love anything going on that you want to talk about Hiba we'll start with you I mean there's so many collabs happening right now and I feel like now everyone's steering into that direction which is crazy but it's also interesting to see what they come up with yeah so there's obviously the Zara and Galliano collaboration there's a Swatch and AP collaboration yeah crazy the mayhem for that that was so funny people dubai specifically lined up for hours and then they ended up saying yeah it's a globe like they canceled it everywhere because there was so much even in italy like there there was a fight between security it's like the people which i mean it's just but we can't control the pocket watch though you can't even i know it's about the resale value yeah like the resale value it's the fact that you have the branding i mean it's why people following too right yeah so it's limited edition so you can resell it later yeah a lot more so for people it's like investment piece yeah yeah for sure but it's like crazy what it did and then now they're like marking it up even more yeah which is crazy yeah yeah it's wild and then i just saw also that balenciaga just did a collab with manolo

11:19Hebah:blana oh that's nice yeah did you what are the shoes look like so it's the same shoes so they're both spanish houses yeah so he like pierre paulo really said i want to do something with him because it's such an iconic shoe and it's from like a spanish with a spanish brand as well so they did i think it's two different styles a pump and a slingback okay and like their core colors and it's just it's a beautiful shoe i mean nothing different from manolo but yeah i think it's nice that Balenciaga is trying to make it look more elevated and it's very feminine and you have the Diamante details on it as well.

11:58So say it less. I think, yeah, yes, Diamante, Talar's favorite thing ever. I think that's, again, like an iconic collab to have if you have it in your wardrobe. I feel like that's something you carry forever. Yeah, that's really cool. That sounds nice. Speaking of high street brands, like the Zara Galeano, did you see Hayley Bieber on Mango? Yeah, she did the campaign. Beautiful. And it happened at the same time as the Alaya campaign. Yes, yes, when Hailey did Alaya. She's mixing it up. She looks really good in Alaya. Yeah, she looks amazing. And she looks very barefaced. I had to do a double take to see if it was her or not.

Yes, she is collaborating with Bieber. on the pimple patches yeah yeah the the the cute shaped ones yeah no her her stuff is great and i yesterday i went into the bathroom and i noticed that my road barrier cream was near love sink and i was like i was like are you it was half empty i was like you know i got this from new york and they don't sell it here well actually they sell it on noon minutes they do Yeah, yeah.

13:15Hebah:I'm going to reorder. He's like, I don't know what Rode is. And I was like, babe, Rode is Hailey Bieber's brand. You need to know this. Yeah. And you still haven't tried any of her products. Oh, my God. Yeah. I mean, I love them. I know some people don't think they're worth the hype. No, I love her pocket blushes. I love the eye patches you got us. Oh, the eye patches. They're nice. My friend loves the glazing milk. I haven't tried it. A lot of people also use the Refai one. Yes, also. Refai as a? What? It's like the primer. Yeah, the primer, exactly. Oh, okay, nice. I started using it just because I see people, because I have it.

13:51Hebah:Also, I just saw this morning that you'll be happy about, Miss Flip Flops, is Javiana and Isabelle Maran are doing a collab. Oh, wow. So they're launching, going to launch two different styles in the, like, basic, standard Javiana form, but I think in, like, her cool colors and patterns. Nice. Yeah. I love a flip-flop. Yes, you do. Tal was telling me earlier. Yes, you do. But your hot take was that you don't like people wearing flip-flops outside the beach. Yeah, or pool area. Or pool area. Yeah. Sorry, my bad. Or pool area. Beach or pool. For sure. I wear flip-flops to the pool sometimes. Yeah.

14:34Hebah:But I just think if you're in a city, girlfriend, I don't want to see it. It's a really hot take because I wear flip-flops sometimes with a balloon trousers and I wore them in London and I was like. But they were leather. So it was like. I get a pass. Yeah, yeah, yeah. A little bit of a pass. A little bit of a. But if you're wearing the plastic ones in the city with jeans. Jail. I'm on board with you from a standpoint of like wearing a flip-flop with like a blazer or whatever. Unless it's like a leather with a kitten heel. I don't mind it. Oh, yeah. Kitten heel. All the sandals are cool. Kitten heel is totally, totally great.

15:11Hebah:It's just the plastic. Yeah, yeah. I just think, like, you can do better. Like, there are a plethora of options. Like, there are so many shoes in the world. But I get the ease of a flip-flop and, like, it's just chill. Sometimes there's a cool effect, but it depends on what you're wearing. I totally agree with that. Yeah, it depends on what you're wearing. Now, every time you wear it, you're going to be like... I'm going to be thinking about you. Trust me. I've already thought about you when I was in London. I was thinking about you when I put them on. I'm sure the UK team are going to probably disagree on that take.

15:41Definitely. Can we just take a moment and discuss your Crocs?

15:45Hebah:Yeah. I mean, like, I guess people will actually talk smack about me now. Because, like, I was hating on Crocs my whole life. Not allowed XXX. They are for just, like. Children. They look so cute on kids. Or nurses. Yeah. Like farming. I don't know. Farming? Yeah. But now you're a Crocs converter. Well, I was watching my Korean show and the main girl who's super chic was wearing the crystal crocs. Oh, yeah. Anything embellish? With all the embellishment. And she was wearing them. And I was like, oh, my goodness. Could I pull this off? You see what I mean? But I will say, disclaimer, only for the beach.

16:26Hebah:I can. Or only if I'm, like, going to a workout class and need to slip them on. Because it's like a pabooch, basically, right? It's like a slipper. It's like an easy place. I would disagree with you and say, yeah, go for the flip flop. Over the croc. Never the croc. So yeah. Bedazzled croc. And their platform. So their platform bedazzled. Yeah. And when I wear them, Lev literally walks 10 feet in front of me. Man repeller. Yeah. And we were at the beach the other day and they were there just shining brightly in the sand. And the guy was moving the umbrella and I was like, yeah, I don't mind if you put it on top of the shoes.

17:05and I was like okay note to self not gonna wear these around you I'm sorry you have no weight in this conversation you're gonna talk about bedazzled crocs versus my foot flops they're just not not normal crocs crocs because you know I have a pair of crocs and gingham I have a pair of blue crocs in the gingham prints yeah that's fine are they platform no they're not platform they're kind of cool like but I only wear them for very specific outfits I can't wear them yeah most things yeah that's fair but the bizazzle croc with i feel like because i have small feet i can do it okay guys last night after just starting this season like the the beginning of this week i finished the show called million dollar secrets have you ever million dollar secrets i watched season on netflix you watched season two as well yeah yeah yeah how good is this show i prefer season one i loved both yeah season one had better characters maybe and i think for any new show season one's always the best because you don't know what to expect it's the first time yeah you're watching the second time everyone comes in calculates yes and they've watched season one so true they know what to do there's expectations and it's very conniving because traders is like for me the best show so i didn't i need to watch traders because i the uk raves about that i know it was like all over and now there's celebrities so you there are people that you know which is interesting so is it similar to million dollar secret yeah but even better i need to watch it million dollar

18:29Hebah:secret where people are trying to keep the secret in a house and whoever wins gets money sort of they they're they get a million dollars in their box in their rooms and they're trying to keep that million dollars but oh yeah yeah yeah it is such a thrilling show i was on the edge of my seat last night i was watching the finale i was like it's such a good way to distract oh my god like it's but high anxiety yeah did you expect the winner like did you expect to won um i at the end of it I was like okay this person is going to win although I didn't feel it was deserved even though that person is smart I just felt like out of all everyone's circumstances yeah this is the thing it's like everyone has circumstances in a sob story yes oh my the sob stories every you have to come in with a sob story yeah yeah that's how they pick the people exactly yeah so it's like we were talking about love is blind yeah instead of putting people's name and profession you need to put what their sob story is because everyone has a sob story that's how they recruit for reality tv to make it interesting so true that's they don't put emotionally available yeah has their together goes to therapy no really wants to find love like yeah what no not at all what issues do they have exactly let's bring it out entertaining so we need to trigger that response so even with these shows everyone has such a soft story but again everyone's in there for themselves and you will be selfish and i know in a certain point in the show someone was like oh yeah but you're not being a team player you're only thinking of yourself and one of the guys said well obviously we're all here for ourselves and they were so offended yeah and they wanted to vote offended though that's because you build alliances and you're in this house for and you're like we're They're all here to support.

20:17But like at the end of the day, if you had the million dollars, you would lie. They're just here for the money. Absolutely. You're all here to win a game show. Let's not forget and lose sight of it. Yeah. It's such an interesting perspective. It's a US show? It is a US show. It's on Netflix. Rami told me, he's like, how good would this be in Arabic with Arabs? So... I'm like, this would be a very heated... Yeah. He's like, they would fight and if they want to protect themselves, they would swear on God that it's not them Or their family members. Yeah, yeah. And I was like, oh, it would have been so funny.

20:50So I think they should bring it to the Middle East. I feel like it would be so funny. How interesting. Maybe I'll give it a shot. You have to watch it. I was contacted to join a TV show, which was a game show. And they were saying we're bringing it to the Middle East and it's going to be huge, whatever. And it's one of the biggest game shows. And I was only considering doing it if it was Squid Games. You would do Squid Games? But then I don't think I could do it. It's actually scary. Squid Game is so intense. It is. Just like high anxiety, high pressure. What I like about Squid Game is you can't tell who's, it's based on your skills, but also alliance.

21:26But like, there's also so much that goes behind winning. Yeah. And you're so many people. So for you, the likelihood of you winning is so small. Oh my God. So it's like really high, high, like very hard to get. Very intense. I recently came across this pop-up at El Sercal called House of Habanero. Oh yeah. yeah oh my god i stayed there for a while it's so good it's just like a spices shop it's in the glass in the glass pop-up yeah that's where the the energy healing yes they had that exactly they had incense and they had different things and now it's a new shop called house of habanero and it has all these amazing spices if you're someone who likes spicy things i bought like four jars to go i bought a place i bought it from a place called shosh i bought it from a place i I got it from Shosh.

22:13I got it from House of Habanero. They did a collab with Eat On. Bala spices. Oh, nice. Oh, my God. I put it on. Yeah. I'm really halfway through the jar.

22:22Hebah:She did such a great job with her chili, didn't she? Yeah, I need like a whole jar versus like this. Yeah, I go through it so quickly. I love it with like a bit of cottage cheese. Delicious. Yeah, so good. Rogue cottage cheese. Yeah, do you like cottage cheese at all? I love it. But I would never think to like pair it with the spice. Oh, everything is spice for me. yeah cottage cheese do you have a good cottage cheese bronze because like i find it hard i actually do unprocessed is it the russian one i don't know if it's unprocessed but mine is like less five percent fat like it's quite low low cal but i don't know if it's processed how would i know if it i don't know yeah what do you mean always check how processed if it's really like if there's a lot of additives in it ingredients yeah i mean i buy them on a noon minutes it comes in five minutes is it graham yes is that processed well no that's healthyish healthy ish but it's creamier than the what's it called graham graham graham the uk it's a uk based yeah i buy the low fat one yeah me too but that's out of stock maybe because of you tomorrow's buying them because i was gonna place an order yesterday because i'm trying to so there's actually a very big thing of like it's so difficult trying to like eat cottage cheese no just maintain your protein intake oh yeah like it's honestly so daunting on me especially as a vegetarian i don't know how oh my god i find it hard as a non-vegetarian i can only imagine how hard it is for a vegetarian yeah someone posted something saying like no one talks about how hard it is to like track your protein intake it's just everything i'm eating i'm like oh i didn't have enough protein but like also what else do i do because you need to have like 40 to 40 grams and it's a lot yeah even more probably more if you yeah it depends on your your macros but yes you need and you also need to have it when you wake up as well you eat eggs right yeah i do but guys have been eating so much eggs but eggs also don't have that much protein like in comparison to other forms yeah that's why protein shake is the best way to go but it's again like do you want to have a protein shake every single day well i i'm forced to yeah because it helps me add creatin and obviously i put collagen super green so chia seeds all of that jazz and And how fun we saw yesterday the new endorphins website.

24:36I was just going to say. So cool. Such a great thing. So for those of you listening, there's a new platform called Endorphins in the Middle East. And this founder, Athena, she brings in brands from abroad, supplement brands from abroad. And she vets like everything to make sure it's like not processed. like and instead of giving so much variety so there's like 10 different vitamin c's she picks like a few just to not confuse people because like everywhere you look online yeah there's just so many options i heard for example i mean yeah it's a great platform but i'm overwhelmed with choice like which one do i pick so the fact that it's curated is amazing yeah and she brought happy aging which obviously is such a big brand it's um owned and founded by martha yes it's a brazilian And honestly, like such a beautiful woman.

25:27Martha Graff. Yes, exactly. No, she's I mean, she takes so much care of her health and what she listens to her body. And she's even more fit now than she was before. 26:14Hebah:I have spotted a very, very fabulous pair of denim from a brand based in New York, but everything is made in Kosovo. And it's called Lyrica Matoshi. Nice. And it's white denim mid-waist. And she has put different kind of gemstones all over the side. I was going to say, I'm sure they're lying. It's embellishment. It's towel. But I'm just like, what a fun pair of jeans that you can wear during the day. You can wear it at night with heels if you want to jazz it up. Nice. And it just took me back to like being a 90s kid when we had sticker books. Yes. And it was just, yeah. Also, apart from that, she has a lot of other beautiful pieces.

27:01Hebah:And there was also another jacket that I found on a UK-based brand called Home of High. Oh, yeah. Have you heard of that? I feel like, yes. I feel like I have a very pretty, like dainty, kind of whimsical pieces. And they have this white kind of see-through silk blazer. Nice. That you can wear with like a tank or something for the summer. I just thought it was so chic. Very nice. So there's a lot of cool. There's a lot of things on the hit list at the moment. It's going to be hard to add to cart. This time of year is when I shop the most. Yeah. Yeah, because I'm getting into summer and outfits and I'm like, I need to have a lot.

27:42I'm racking up the after carts. Yeah, it's a lot. Yeah. I've come across a lot of South Asian brands recently because obviously my algorithm keeps giving me more brands to look at. But I bought these brands yesterday when we were working and I immediately purchased the item. It's this brand called Kords. It's based in India and they have the most beautiful prints on their clothes. It's like prints of like people. Oh, amazing. And I know when brands do like just really cool artwork on their pieces that it's like a skirt or a wrap top and they mix prints so well. So it would be like a striped pants with an abstract top or like a gingham print with something else.

28:25And I just love I looked through the whole website and I wanted to buy everything. but I actually purchased this top that the girl was wearing in the video which was you know how like now there's a lot of tops and jackets that are inspired by the mandarin color yes like the button detail yes so it had the abstract print of like people and a face but then it had this sounds so nice button detail and then there's fringe just going down oh and it's just such a cool color like just the whole top in itself these are like really statement pieces where you can like that makes the outfit exactly everything else can be so minimal and that just pops out and I was just like adding to cards I'm like where do I find it so they targeted you well

29:06Hebah:yeah every every brand is targeting him at this point I'm like stop talking to me stay away from me but whatever it's I always love finding new brands and then there's this brand that keeps popping up that I just ended up following them they it's called Nuria which is also an Indian brand and they have such amazing cords so nice so with different prints and stripes and everything but then you can buy like a dress like a cape with a dress under like they have really cool nice pairings very nice pairings and I love that they're all quite affordable like especially coming from India their pieces are so unique pieces that you wouldn't find here typically yeah um prices are amazing so obviously it's i get so when we're so when i always get over stimulated on the website because i'm like i like this no i like this no i like that especially if it's like within price range you're within your budget like you want to buy everything yeah with you i recently tried the new bamba sleepwear collection oh how is it so amazing it's like fully 100 cotton and it has this beautiful like musical it's so it's such a dainty piece and if you know you have a friend or someone that you love that loves pajamas I feel like it's such a nice gift idea is it a pan a pants and top yeah okay nice top and pants and even though it's summer it's very light so even wearing it at home is really nice on that note so I'm very into wearing pjs out yeah obviously but now they're also launching I just bought a pair from H &M yesterday which is like a cotton poplin oh it's just a short sleeve whites and short sets with scallop details that's very cute nice summer outfit yeah and even you know it's 9 p.m yes this brand that's the brand is like a i haven't heard of it brand yeah based in the uk as well they do such cool pjs and crazy yeah and prince as well they just did a collab with ocean us yes oh lovely which is like a silver brand yeah shopping to do embellished ocean us dresses but now everyone's kind of like steering into that pj but like where it's outside yeah scandinavian look you know you said h &m did you see that h &m that that sailor top but they recently launched h &m studio a new a new h &m studio drop they have a sailor top with like that collar detail that's wide that kind of gives me i think you showed it to me with the tie yeah it's so nice i love that yeah it's even Even Origin Studios did a dress that has that sailor.
