0:00India:Welcome back to the LuxGen Group Chat. In this week's episode we discuss how 2025 is a year of the horror movies. I watched Weapons over the weekend. Guys, it's so, so good. India and Elle tell us about the music festivals that you need to go to next year. Love International, I had probably the time of my life. Yeah, I think that was the happiest I've ever been. Okay, this is selling it. Would you spend$128 on an inflatable neck pillow hoodie? £128 is a bit crazy. It is, but for the comfort. I don't go anywhere without my travel pillow. Well, see. Fair enough, I do. And the pop girls are having a serious comeback.

0:31Do you know who is making a comeback, which I'm quite happy about, is KTB. Oh my God. Really? Oh my God.

0:37India:It's going to be a good one, so stay tuned. Hi everyone, and welcome back to the LuxGen group chat. Today we have got India and Elle. Hello everybody. Hi. How are we? Good. Feeling good. Feeling a bit sweaty. Yeah, braving the heat. I'm really struggling. This is one third, fourth heat wave in the UK. Yeah. I can't complain though. Last week it was raining and I was also complaining, so. That's true. I'll take it. I've got my toes out today. Before we get into it, please, please, please subscribe to our channel. It really helps us. It means that we can yap a bit more. And that's what we love to do.

1:02India:So please subscribe. But before we get into it, ladies, we are looking great. This heat wave has done you guys nice. What are you wearing? So I've raided my mum's closet once again. I'm wearing her like white tank. It's from by Malene Burger. Jorts that are from a thrift store that I got in Bath. But the brand is called Bum Equipment. I was talking to the girls before. Bum Equipment. And it's literally got like the bum equipment tag on the outside of the jean. please switch to video to watch India's bum equipment shorts let me just like turn around I don't know if you can see yeah she got some bum equipment going on also go to the LG Instagram page because then you'll see a better version of that and then I've got my Haviyanas on they're like a nice maroon-y red color they're so nice love that they're having a moment guys they're stopped in flannels isn't that hilarious are they?

1:47India:so my boyfriend has been after some Haviyanas for ages and we're going on holiday and I was in flannels and I was like so they have them here and I was like I'm just going to pick them up I was like, this is the only time I've bought anything from Flannels because I could afford it. I finally bought something from here. That's crazy. Elle, what are you in? You look so nice today. She's great. I love it. Thank you. Thank you very much. I am wearing a little white tee from Topshop. This skirt is from Dance and Murder. This is actually, I remember the name. Well, I checked the label. It's from Gina Tricot.

2:17India:Gina Tricot. Oh, my gosh. So I didn't know this store existed until I went abroad. And it's really big in, like, Copenhagen. They've got them in Spain. they're quite big I don't know about them I didn't either but I'm a big fan now and these are vintage and then jewellery is from a bunch of different places but the rings are from Loveness Lee what are you wearing I have got on my latest thrifted find this is so cool a 28 pound vintage YSL shirt very dad style my jorts are just some denim Bermudas from F &S again in the sale for£8 I love F &S guys the M &S I love F &S everything in there that just said sale.

2:54India:And I was like, what does that mean? She was like, oh, everything's 70%. I was like, everything? Everything with a sale sticker was 70%. Oh my gosh. You're joking. M &S just kill it though. They're so good. Yeah, it's really good. There's no age range on there anymore. Like there were this old lady next to me, child next to me. I was like, okay, they said inclusive. I saw a TikTok yesterday and this girl was saying that aging is walking past the Urban Outfitters into M &S. And I was like, that is literally me right now. Yeah, that is me. At three years old, I was shopping at M &S. 10 years ago, I would have thought that was for 25 and above.

3:20Amen. Which is like... Sorry, the X-Acto category. The over 25. The over 25. Louis Walsh's category, literally.

3:31India:Well, we have lots to chat about. Should we start with Copenhagen Fashion Week? Yes. I personally think Copenhagen Fashion Week is just so good because it makes fashion so accessible. People are wearing ASOS, Dams and Madders, had so much attention. Thoughts, yeah? I think it's very influencer-friendly. a lot of people are dressing a lot cooler and experimenting more with their outfits as opposed to like more traditional fashion weeks around other cities but I love the looks like yeah very much more accessible to the younger crowd as well I think it's amazing all the colors the brands like amazing brands are coming out of Copenhagen that I've never heard of yeah yeah exactly smaller brands not just you know oh everything's yeah exactly yeah I also think like that the fashion is a bit more fun yeah it seems to take it so yeah it seems to take itself less seriously than like the bigger kind of yeah fashion weeks and that way I think it's more accessible because it's kind of stuff that you could kind of piece together yourself rather than just like yeah super elevated luxury it's like fun beanies and like sparkly skirts and like big like puff sleeve blouses and stuff that we can all kind of find I feel like the way that people combine like you say like a massive puffer that might be you know skull studios or something yeah pair it with like ASOS chords and stuff like that and it just it works so well and it just feels like it just makes fashion feel like less scary yeah I think I've taken so much inspiration from it like especially going into autumn winter oh even saying that's making me itch going into autumn winter oh I'm excited but unfortunately it's coming yeah but yeah there's been so many cool looks from this season um Polly and Sapna went oh my god they looked so amazing they looked so good I remember for Saps I think it was Rotate the red yeah so good so like again you don't overthink it because you can pair whatever and you know So if you go out with a bit of confidence, you look great.

5:13India:And now onto something really interesting. I don't know if you've seen this. So Shay Mitchell, who is, you know, Pretty Little Liars. So she's got a luggage brand. I think it's pronounced B-E-I-S. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's like all luggage, like really nice. She's in a collab with Gap, right? But they have just released a$128 hoodie with an inflatable neck pillow. What? But when you're traveling, guys, when you see it, I won't lie, I was convinced. You just, it looks like a normal hoodie. It actually looks like a really cool utility jacket, right? Hang on. Yeah, I need a visual aid. I need a visual aid.

5:45But still,£128 is a bit crazy. It is.

5:48India:I don't go anywhere without my travel pillow. Well, see. Fair enough. I do. Last time I wore a travel pillow, I think I was like 13. And it was like a little toy cartoon one. No, no, no. But I think that's because in your head, you're just like, oh, it's such a faff to take with you. That's it. So I guess actually. But now you won't have to. This is the inflatable neck pillow, right? So it looks like a really cool jacket. and then they blow into it like a life jacket yeah a life jacket and you just blow but you can't see it and you just put your hood up so like you know sometimes I do get a bit self conscious when I sleep on a plane because I'm like school PTSD on the coach literally and then like that picture would be circulating around school because mine actually did mine actually did of course 10 years later I'm still getting these images why and that's what I mean it's the PTSD so you just put the hood up and you can sleep I'm sorry but I think that is life changing for longer flights okay I'm not gonna lie that looks amazing Would you buy it for 100 Come on you're a neck pillow president I am a neck pillow for instance I don't know I don't know I don't think that I would Maybe I'll ask for like For like a Christmas gift or something I think that is such a good present Yeah it's a really good present Dollars Dollars So maybe like I guess like 110 If you're someone who travels a lot And it's quite a cute jacket anyway I was going to say It's actually quite stylish It actually looks good As a regular hoodie regardless I think there's going to be so much more of this though Like practical functional wear Because I think people are kind of Running out of ideas of just like Another white t-shirt Or another pair of drawers And I think we're going to get like functional.

7:09I think our generation is also very much comfortability over like. We are the night tech. Yeah. Practical queen. Pretty hurts. But also I don't want to walk around in the shoes that are cutting my toes. Yeah. I agree. Also the idea that you can sleep anywhere is also kind of thrilling. Yeah. Imagine. On your commute to work. Seriously.

7:27India:That is worth changing for the tube though. Imagine. Yeah. That's so good. Wait. We've actually. Wait. How many people do you catch lacking on the tube? I always fall asleep on the tube. and then I've actually got neck strain from like bobbing my head all the time on normal trains on my board and the head jobs but the person in front of me watches you getting shook and you're like oh honestly I'm imagining and you're looking around to see who's sore that's why I like the neck pillow because it kicks your head in place see I think I'm sold Avanti West Coast if you want to do a little collab I'm ready to be fair I don't think you need it for Avanti West Coast it's for like Western Rail no West Midlands Rail that's what it is West Midlands Rail that's what I need it for You don't even get a pull-up train.

8:10Where am I putting my snacks? When I see that train pull-up with the green seats, I'm like, oh, for fuck's sake. Everyone's like ready to run. Why do people run? No, people even run for the Avanza West Coast ones. I'm like, we have assigned seats. Listen, that's really expensive. I'm like running with my suitcase.

8:24India:I can imagine you're being like, stop running. You've got assigned seats. I talk about this every single time. The panic when you're catching a train. And on Houston, on that platform, and everyone's like poised, ready. Yeah, yeah. Nothing gets my heart going. Houston is already hell. And then you add everyone running for the train. Yeah, yeah. It is hell in there. Terrible. It is hell in there. Anyways, I love the hoodie. Anyways. Okay, I love that. Anyway, we love the hoodie. Apart from the train line beef. Surviving Dijon. Oh my God. I'm sorry. Post Love Island thrill rollercoaster has been wilder than ever.

8:59His sister didn't rest. Immediately he came out the villa. I saw TikToks of this girl's book Honestly It is mental So have you seen this? I have checked out of Love Island this year Yeah So explain

9:10India:So essentially Obviously everyone's been saying Love Island's been really good You've got a lot of strong characters It's been great throughout the programme Loads of beef All that sort of thing But coming out of the villa Essentially I don't know if you know Women's Aid got involved at one point Because there was a lot of manipulation From the boys There was a lot of like You know just like ganging up And a lot of this like gaslighting It was horrific behaviour But one of the boys Dajon his family have been very vocal on socials throughout his journey and then he's come out I believe it is his I think half-brother or stepbrother's sister she has essentially come out and she's actually released a book on Amazon it's 15 pounds so my girl is also getting that's reduced it was 30 before was it self-published yeah she's published it and basically she is just describing all her encounters with him and I think there was some potentially sexual relationships underage with some of her friends.

10:01India:There's a lot happening in this book. But the fact that you would go and post that. I don't know what to believe. I think it's a bit outrageous. She didn't rest. Literally, a day out of the villa, this book was released. Surely, yeah. She must have been writing that while she was in the villa. But yeah, a day out of the villa, the book was released. Social media went crazy. Literally. Coming out of the villa, I get it. They have done, you know, they've made terrible decisions. I appreciate that. But there needs to be better safeguarding because people are still 20-something. And imagine like, that's like our group chats all being leaked.

10:29India:because essentially that's what it is not Elle going woohoo and that's what I mean imagine if that came out like the mental toll that it would take on you would be horrific and I think amongst our generation there is that you know social blindness it is horrific Dejaune's behaviour has been awful don't get me wrong but this is awful to have like a surviving Dejaune so come on the word surviving is with everything that happens in Hollywood that is a horrible yeah you know to have to put out a certain message even before reading the book yeah Has he released a statement? I think he did release his first TikTok kind of addressing that there's been a lot.

11:05India:And that's the other thing. He's now got social media and obviously that invites an influx of comments and attitudes. But I think it's going to be a case that they are going to have to have, that is a big press team that they're going to have to have. Yeah, I know. A lot of PR training. Turn off the comments. Yeah, 100%. Word to the wise. India's like from the social team, turn off the comments. But some different news kind of in the more food and drinks industry. So like we said earlier, Copenhagen is really having a moment these smaller brands are getting the spotlight so are smaller restaurants at LVMH which is Louis Vuitton, Moet Hennessy they are the biggest fashion house they've owned so much they've just invested in Dishoom what?

11:39India:yeah Dishoom in London is a London born small Indian restaurant I'm sure you've all heard of it it's now valued at 300 million pounds wow and it started off it was just a group of guys and they wanted to kind of build this empire and they've done it and they are the most down to earth people you'll ever meet they have like a pure passion for their company. They take their staff to Bombay and different parts of India. So cute. Every single day. It's really rooted in that heritage. But thoughts on it being having investment and it going US next year, hopefully. I feel like I do really well in the US.

12:11I'm not surprised about this investment. Like, I've loved Ashume for ages. Everyone I know loves Ashume. There's always a cuckoo at every single restaurant in London every single night. I hope it doesn't lose its charm. That's what I think. I know there's like a few and it is somewhat kind of a chain but it's still got this kind of like small restaurant mentality. So don't know. I agree, yeah. I just hope the Americans appreciate it. I agree in the same way.

12:36India:It's a bit of like a London identity. Yeah. People come to London to try to show. It's one of the OG Indian restaurants. And like the interiors and stuff. There's so much thought that goes into it and all of the places are obviously all different. And then the... Permit rooms as well. Permit rooms, yeah. Permit rooms. And that's, I agree, I think. As soon as you go global, whilst it's super exciting, it's always like you just worry that it's going to lose its charm so you hope that it doesn't I really hope people like appreciate Dishun for all it is but I think they're going to have to like work quite hard on keeping the interiors as it is and that's what keeping the Bombay potatoes let's hope that's the best thing but now okay I feel like we all know this Gen Z as a generation we catch a lot of heat yeah like everybody's always on to us and now Mark Consuelos has recently called us out saying that essentially we have a blank stare as a generation so apparently if someone says like hi to us and when they're having like a normal conversation apparently we have a blank stare as if we have like nothing going on and he thinks a lot of that is to do with our social media use really i disagree i disagree i've not noticed this black set in any of my friends or anyone and also if even if we did or if there's anyone that does i don't know how social media would contribute to that or like i guess from like the scrolling on your screens and stuff like that But our involvement in social media, we're so vocal and so we've got such big personalities on social media.

14:02We're quite active. We're quite active. Exactly. So I can't imagine that due to our presence on social media, that would lead to this supposed blank stare.

14:10India:Oh, guys, India for Gen Z's precedent. I'm going to stand up for Gen Z's. I love her. I disagree. I hear you are. I do agree. Do you? I can see where he's coming from. I'm not pausing the star of the video sometimes all night. Isn't that millennial though? It's the more pause. But I do think that, like, I can understand why he's saying it, because I think perhaps sometimes... Like, what's your take? I think we all need to stop spending as much time on our phones and, like, face our friends. And then the light will just come back into your eyes. Oh, my God. Okay. Interesting take on that. I think, yeah, don't.

14:48I think, yeah, stop staring at screens and then you won't be like... I love it.

14:53India:Elle's like yeah we've just lost the light in our eyes I swear we actually need this we have I think but I don't think it's just Gen Z specific I think it's anyone that spends so much time on their phone or like in front of a screen I think it does just suck the joy I kind of get it and I actually think there's more to attribute to COVID and that kind of yeah time than just us being like on our phones but I think Gen Z were affected by both and I think sometimes maybe like our social mannerisms aren't like the same as maybe like our parents would be like you know networking all the time at like events and all these kinds of things and our generation just isn't really about that kind of pointless networking as such I feel like it's actually it's all quite targeted yeah which is probably better in the sense that it's just slightly more efficient you're gonna waste your time well I don't want to say waste your time but you don't need to talk yeah I feel like the blank stone is just us vetting whether we want to invest our time in you that's all it is you know what I mean I need to see what this black sail looks like Is this like in response to like A question Someone looks up from their friend and they're like It's that Like a moment of reflection According to Ellis the moment of a light leaves our eyes Do you know what I mean Now that you've actually demonstrated it I do see what he means I take everything back Okay if you catch me off guard after like maybe like A good two minutes of scrolling It will take me a second to come back to the real world Do you know yeah I see it

16:23India:okay let's move on to things that we are loving and a quick reminder please please please subscribe because we love to yap and the more you subscribe the more we can yap and we are really good at that Elle what has been kind of on your radar? oh I have been out and about this summer not looking at my phone just come back from Gothenburg which is in Sweden I did not know where that was I was gonna say I was like I'm never yeah I didn't I really wrote you went there recently how really she said she loved it she told me to go oh god it's incredible the shopping apparently she was like it's amazing yeah no it is amazing and I went for Way Out West Festival Charlie was there honestly Fontaine's was it incredible honestly it's a spiritual experience hearing like 30 ,000 people scream Pink Pony Club was honestly like I was nixed it it was healing it was healing I had the best time Gothenburg as a city is so cool really big independency the food was incredible apparently there's like loads to offer for power generation huge tours to see loads of yeah and it's only an hour and a half from London like five so you and your neck pillow went for an hour and a half to go yeah I actually like I went on a press trip so I went with a group of journalists I had to explain that I'm borderline narcoleptic and I will fall asleep if I'm sat down do you not see this is the target market audience with a gut neck pillow I'm coming for you I love that You have loads of Gothenburg wrecks.

17:47I have so many Gothenburg wrecks. The secondhand shopping was dangerous. Yeah. I bought so much stuff. It was incredible. Yeah, they're like, as a city, it's really sustainable. Yeah, okay. And the whole festival was like sustainable. And there was no meat at the festival. It was all vegetarian. That's interesting. Yeah.

18:08India:So I suppose like sustainability from that element as well. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they're like big into secondhand shopping there and pre-loved and things. And so, yeah, it's just a really cool city. I'd really recommend just going. My next festival that I'm going to this summer is All Points East. Are you going on Saturday? I'm going on Barry Can't Swim Day. When are you going? We're trying to get tickets for Saturday. There are still tickets. It's Chase Estatus, Nia Archives, Santa Virgie. And those are like three of my favourite DJs. I was going to say Nia Archives would be like a cool thing.

18:35She is a lot of fun. I've seen her quite a bit. And like, she's just amazing. Like, I would see her again and again and again.

18:40India:Yeah. But the tickets are currently£100. And we're like... Resell, resell. We probably shouldn't have waited. so we're going to check resale hopefully and they're still available so hopefully I get tickets a day because we're going to FaceTime because respectfully festivals are getting too expensive yeah sorry £100 for a day it's wild I've done like eight this year my credit card is really hurting yeah I was going to say there's another festival I need to mention that I went to and I had the absolute time of my life is Love International in Croatia I'm going to that next year I'm going next year I got an early bird ticket really yeah yeah it cost me 160 quid for a week I'm like yeah that's so good 160 for a week abroad yeah that's amazing yeah yeah it was I cannot describe how much how much fun I had and I went on the recommendation of my friend and she was like overselling it and I was like yeah I was like yeah it'll be fun like it'll be nice and I went to Glastonbury last year and I loved Glastonbury but but cue the Glastonbury but no no I loved Glastonbury but if you're not into like huge the huge huge crowds was a bit much yeah but Love International I had probably the time of my life yeah I think that was the happiest I've ever been okay this is selling it because my friends went this year and they were like India you need to come with us this is so your vibe and so I was like when are we getting tickets yeah the music the music is so good and Horsemeat Disco is like one of my Horsemeat Disco Horsemeat Disco it's a DJ it's a Kate I love disco so much love that that is so on the brand yeah that's so bad that is so bad I love disco anyways the last night was like till 6am and I cried because I was so happy I was like I've had the time of my life and then I went and got on my plane with no sleep but it was so you needed your neck pillow but I needed my neck pillow I'm not getting commissioned just so can we have a date or how many times your neck pillow was mentioned in this book I will say I have seen so many like really wholesome like almost genuinely brings me to tears this TikTok trend where people are like in your 20s or you know in your lifetime you need to book a concert abroad with your 20s I think the key is just going abroad and it's at least just one the sisterhood that I felt with my like friends there and it was like all of us were like looking after each other like do you want some lip balm do you need some water do you need some water I love that when you do you want some do you want some sometimes when you're burning like it was all like helping each other but it's so nice for me it's like because obviously it's so like it's water time it was so cute similarly I was watching a tiktok and it was like you only have I think like 10 summers in your 20s yes yeah okay don't say it like that I know it's really scary that's why I've been like well must book everything yeah obviously does bring you back to the whole thing like money comes back around yeah yeah that's true my like life motto is you can always make more money you can't make more time you can't you can't it's so true it's true life is short life is really short so book the festival and if you can get it a festival and you will see india and elga they are clearly going yeah and also you guys obviously massive music heads um sorry the quiet and silent return of sceptre yeah the man is just blasting through my ears all the time and i'm like so when did you come back sceptre is like victory lap amazing oh yeah fashion music everything modeling beauty like he is multifaceted he's amazing and recently so sceptre came out with on the low with tiwa savage oh my god listen to it but the whole so the visuals for it are quite like you know they like look like they're a couple and she did an interview with zizi mills yeah they're talking to her like what was it like with sceptre imagine you're just like sceptre's touching you up like i'd be like oh my good lord but like take me to heaven honestly but like Victory Lap Absolute Tune that's like god that took so long to drop though it really teased us it really wound me up it really wound me up it was worth it and now there's like five remixes I did see that I'm like no please just give me the original I like all the remixes on my running place I was just like storming through London I love that but I just think he's like come back and I feel like every time we ask for like new tunes he's always in the studio but like it's just very quiet the way it happens Because it just kind of like...

22:56It just drops it and goes away.

22:57India:I was just like doing my makeup. I have like Radio 1 that comes on every morning. And I was like literally putting it on. I was like... Wait a minute. I was like, wait a minute. Is this Skepta? I was like, he's back. Yeah, is there any other albums that we are begging to drop? Kate Trenada's releasing an album. Yeah. On the 15th of August. Oh my God, that's sick. It's called like... Ain't No Way. I think I've butchered that. But yeah, I'm excited for that. Oh my God, I'm so excited. Also, I know that none of us are like massive Swifty. So, SAP, shout out. This is for you. Swiftie went on her man's podcast Travis Kelsey And announced that she's dropping an album Really Again I got this information from Radio 1 But like They obviously my informant for everything That's funny But the Swifties are going crazy Yeah I know I think it's bigger news that Travis Kelsey has a podcast I didn't know that Oh okay I also did not know that Yeah I didn't know But anyways I love that for her If you kind of get it It's kind of wholesome that like She's kind of bigging up her man Yeah I kind of love that It's quite nice that she's giving him the clout for that That is so nice Like giving your man the win Yeah I'm just like here you go come on that's really wholesome but you guys you're more Kate Tronarding than you are Swifting listen I appreciate Swift I love a bit of pop though you know Sabrina Carpenter's new album's coming out at the end of the month oh she's a new album oh I didn't know that did she just release one yeah no no so she released the album cover art and everyone lost their minds okay I remember that and then the actual album was coming out at the end of this month see and I feel like with her again I was like I'm not a big Sabrina Carpenter fan guys I love her like I watched her live and I was like mate she's just really charismatic she's got the pop girly thing down she's a performer I love it also can we talk about Zara Larson's new song oh I haven't heard it oh I don't know oh

24:34okay I won't lie to you it's what Midnight Sun honestly and also sorry she's opening for Tate McRae which I think is crazy why is she an opener oh I agree I think she's massive Zara Larson is huge I think she's been big for ages

24:47India:she's actually really sustained her kind of time around the scene. I was so surprised when she opened this song or she released this song on stage with Tate McCray and everyone went wild for the song but also the comments were like why is she opening for Tate McCray and that was my immediate thought as well. I think Tate McCray just got massive. Tate McCray got a real cult following and I feel like that kind of like. I was just so surprised when I saw her as an opener and I was like this is a bit absurd. Is it weird that I put her in the same category as Jet 2 Jess Flynn? No I do as well. I put them in the same category.

25:17India:Because why do we do that? I don't know. it's the same kind of vocals it's the same kind of vibe and symphony was like used for like symphony is like an unlogged memory and it just became a meme I think that's why we put her in the same and I can see them all being airline commercials you can can't you love it virgin palatable housey vocals yeah that kind of thing do you know who is making a comeback which I'm quite happy about it's Katie B oh my god I feel like coming back to Love Island whoever is about to kind of pop off Love Island will try and get them to be on their what do they call it?

25:55India:Island first or whatever it's called they have their little festival but they had Tiny Temper and I feel like that might mean that he is coming on a few more remixes because KTV was last year I'm not sure there is a bit of a revival happening with all the artists that we had like you say Zara Larsson, KTV they're all, you know what? They're coming back and I love that for them I feel like the UK based kind of housey grimy garage it's kind of bad it's really popular everywhere like the Australians love it as well which I always find quite strange yeah getting the clout and respect that they deserve from death yeah this kind of like slightly edgy grittier vocals yeah cheeky bit of dubstep in there yeah new TV and film what are you guys watching have we seen anything new I watched Weapons over the weekend guys it's so it's so so good so it's a horror movie essentially but it's not as scary as other horror movies I've watched.

26:49These kids in a small town in America, all from the same class, go missing one evening. They all just kind of run out of their houses and all the parents are like, where have the kids gone? There's only one kid left in the class and everyone's confused about what the teacher's been doing in the classroom, how the other kid who's left behind is involved. Long story short, actually, I don't want to spoil it. Don't spoil it. I'm going to go see it. Let me actually, I'll leave it there, but I guess the premise of the movie is just solving the mystery of the missing kids. Yeah. But there are crazy, crazy, crazy plot twists.

27:18Like, I did not. Yeah, I did not see any of that coming. I love horror.

27:22India:What horror film is it on par with? Like, come on. Give me like. Because there's a big caliber. This is a hard question. What's a horror movie that's like funny and scary? Get Out. I think Get Out was incredible. I would count Get Out as a horror. Yeah, there was a bit of comedy. There was a bit of comedy. There were parts in the movie where the whole theatre was laughing. Really? Parts like, the jump scares are amazing. I have not like actually screamed out loud. I was thinking in a theatre before. but I literally like jumped out and like had to grab my friend because I was like what the hell like it's so so good I think it's perfect so definitely go watch that speaking of comparing it to Get Out Jordan Peele obviously everyone knows who he is he got the script for Weapons really wanted it but lost out and then fired his whole team stop it seriously because he was so pissed about losing out on this script that's how good the script is so I do believe you that the storyline is going to be amazing yeah but being on TikTok I know No, actually, that's true.

28:15Yeah, but you're Jordan Peele.

28:17India:Imagine, though, just being like, well, I can't have it, you can't have it. Imagine, that is such a bargain. If I don't have it, no one can. Yeah, I mean, kind of fair. Yeah, like, valid. But after I watched it, I went on TikTok, and apparently, loads of people that have watched it as well have come out and said that actually, Weapons is so Jordan Peele, and they kind of wish that he had gotten it all. They would have loved to have seen his input in it. Like a different twist. Yeah, exactly, because it's very much his style. So, I mean, I guess he's never going to have that opportunity, but I guess that's them.

28:42India:They are saying that this year is the year for horror films. Yes. There's a new Conjuring coming out. There's a renaissance. Yes. Literally. I'm so excited. I love horror. Yeah. Yeah. I love all horror films. I love any kind of thriller. Do you go to the cinema to watch it? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I go on my own, which is quite weird. Always. I don't know about that. Okay, so I live in Brixton and there's a really nice cinema. Is it the Ritzy? Yeah. The best one. I grew up going to the Ritzy. So nice. So I go. I really want a membership. Yeah, I go on my own. I take myself out on a little date. I will say I love that I love that I know a lot of people that do it Steph does it I think that's a really I love going to cinema on my own because you don't sit there and talk through it anyway and it's very rude but yeah you switch off yeah yeah like I what did I last go say I went and saw Sinners by myself oh I love Sinners that was this year as well that was good that was actually I put weapons on par with that in the fact that it wasn't super scary but like the storyline was amazing was it more like creepy there was some jump scares yeah very creepy that's good but it didn't just thrive off like scaring you there was like a plot to it will you be going to the Ritzy to watch together it went in my TV guide I did it I'm so excited together is a new film that's come out that's about a couple who develop a anxious attachment style one might say it's Dave Franco and his real life wife oh my god it's a ten years it's the real life wife I love Klein.

30:10Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they're so cute together. But the way they, did you see the PR stunt that they did? Oh my God, you haven't seen this. Wait, where's this? The sweet thing! Oh my God.

30:20India:It's so good. It went viral on TikTok. This is disgusting. But like, it was a PR stunt. For the PR. So it's Dave Franco. He's got his, his missus is like, she's come from like a workout class. She's got a towel around her. It's really sweaty. And he wrings the towel into his mouth. Oh. basically just alluring to the idea that they are so attached it's all about unhealthy attachment to each other I don't know about that yeah the prosthetics that they were in there were two days that they were together for 10 hours that was the longest shot that they had to do they were prosthetically together they had to pee together they had to go to the bathroom do other things together like they had to they were attached but thank god they're actually married because can you imagine literally and that's what they said that's what made it easier apparently apparently I think that is like quite an intimate sex scene and obviously they spoke about it together but they were like it felt really healthy that they could speak about it as a couple but also like make sure that the crew around them yeah because there's a different level right in the sense that they're actually a couple yeah because it's not it's less performative exactly that's really intimate for you as well so it's quite a lot I'd be comfy if I was filming that yeah I guess that's still so challenging as a couple though like they've probably never done something like that ever in their lives even though they've probably been together for years 10 yeah over 10 years could you be like handcuffed or like attached to KK for 10 hours do you think you could do it?

31:39I actually don't know I'm so sometimes I almost think I'm too independent like I probably see him twice in a week I'm like I'm fine I'll see you next week like see you on Monday see you next week bye so I find it hard but I think I could do it but I'd very I'd really hesitate and question it before I do it India's like

31:54India:how much should I get paid? how much should I get paid for this? do you think you could do it with Jay? I think I could do it I think we would get really like maybe a bit irritated yeah but I think that after a certain amount of time you learn that person's like you know what annoys them what doesn't and I feel like if you've got the honest communication like he said in his interview with Ladbible he was saying that I could say to my wife like babe I love you but you need to redistribute your weight because he couldn't like feel his leg at one point I feel like you would need to be like that raw yeah honestly if you're gonna be like 10 hours that's a lot but I guess in the long run it is kind of healthy for their relationship in some sense opening up so much but I don't know there's a lot happening But anyway, any other horrors that you guys are going to be watching?

32:36India:I think that's all of the main ones I know. And then Conjuring when it comes out. Oh, yes. I'm kind of scared. I don't think I can hack it in the cinema. I don't know if I could watch it in the cinema. In the dong, in the picture. Yeah. I think all those like demonic type horrors scare me a lot more. And I try to avoid watching them because it actually just freaks me out so much. But I've watched every single Conjuring since I was like, since the first one. I think I was like 11 when it came out. Yeah, we were really young when this was so big. So I feel like I've just got to finish with a bang.

33:03I think this is the last one It's a really good like night in sleepover Yeah exactly All the lights on

33:10India:Sleep with fire with the people in your house Doors locked My ring is active Literally Another one of my solo ventures to the cinema will definitely include materialists I've seen I've heard I've heard that It's really good I'm very excited I love anything A24 does I was going to say A24's movies are amazing Yeah really good Also Celine Song who's the director it she directed past lives have you guys seen that i haven't no is it so good yeah you know it's good when i'll just go to but yeah she's directed my materialist and obviously the cast is insane pedro pedro pascal we love him yes yeah we love him chris evans and then dakota yeah yeah dakota and it's about choosing between like the head and the heart and she's a matchmaker Oh my god, I do.

34:00I have watched a trailer for this. Yes. Oh my god, sorry. I'm going to say. I know. I have, and like, Pedro Pascal's really rich. Yeah. And he's like the right type on paper.

34:08India:Chris Evans is the ex. Yeah. Okay, I know what you're talking about. Have we all been there? Oh my gosh. So yeah, I would definitely be going to see that. So that's another. I can't wait. I know. I'm so excited. Honestly, Pedro. Oh god, he's just having a real. He's really hot. He's just everywhere. He can do no wrong. Yeah, he's everywhere. He's everything. I love that. He's amazing. Yeah. Right let's move on To a bit of beauty and fashion What have we been loving So I've seen these shoes By this brand called Mr Okay M-I-S-T-A I think they're a shoe brand And they're kind of Basically I've been loving The like really slim silhouettes Like the tiny shoes And they're doing these Really cool like bowling shoes They're What are they I'm gonna need a visual aid Yeah sorry Let me whip out my phone Bowling shoes What do you mean They're like They're just very slim They've got like the Like flap over Oh Yeah Yeah just sorry that was like a terrible description van noten the car yeah exactly like those really slim shoes like the really cool laces they do loads of different colourways but I'm really liking the khaki and the brown I just think this is so cool very much my vibe I really want these I love the like whole it's a bit like sport chic isn't it because they're a bit like football boots they are like football boots yeah that's what my brothers tell me that I'm wearing every time I wear them oh they are they are really cool and then also beauty wise I ran out of my Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Skin Tint and I've been looking for a new one So I'm going to try the Kylie Skin one Because Satna was telling me about it the other day And she's like it's really light coverage I love light coverage Goes on really fluidly Amazing Soft Lasts all day Soft And it's Kylie So I'm going to try that And let you guys know how I think of it I love that I have a rep for you though If you want something a bit lighter Thank you I plug them all the time Because I cannot tell you how good it is Iborian Korean skincare They are so good I'm obsessed We talk about this all the time The CC cream I've been looking to try something new It goes on white like a normal cream And you can rub it in with your fingers Really?

35:56India:I know what kind of girl you are. I've seen this woman who slept in her makeup, so I know that any makeup you can rub in with your hands is a friend of yours. So honestly, it is so good though. Like if you're just like, you know, like if you're just running out of the house, I don't know, brunch, you can't be bothered to put it on property. You can just take it in your bag, you put it under your eyes, rub it in with your fingers and it just looks incredible. And if you're acne prone as well, I've managed to clear up my skin finally after maybe like six years of having horrible acne. Erborium was the only, the only base that did not break me out.

36:27Oh, wow. Okay, well, I guess I'll get that as well.

36:30India:There you go. There you go. Any of the bits? Yeah, so there's this brand that I've been seeing all over my Instagram called Enroute Jewellery. I've seen that everywhere. They look really cool, yeah. Yeah, so they do these watches that kind of like bracelets and they've got this kind of like vintage-y style and it kind of looks like you got it from like a really cool great aunt or something. Oh, yeah. Where's great aunt? Great aunt. They're like very vintage-y and they're all like gemstones and I just think like layered with other pieces, it would look really cool and then there's this brand called Maze and Frida but they do these like really really cool kind of suede and leather trousers that are kind of like tied up at the front I feel like good going into autumn winter devastating I know devastating but they're like rockstar girlfriend kind of like oh nice yeah like kind of 70s vibe she's got the disco in her guys you're a very rockstar girlfriend I love that for you oh my god thank you I feel like India you've seen this everywhere but Kai Collective are a really cool London based brand I love that they have released like the coolest kind of polo inspired again kind of sport chic that kind of coming in again the football jersey and it just says Kai on the front and I just think the fit is amazing whilst I do love like a baggy t-shirt a baggy shirt sometimes I forget what it's like to wear fitted clothes and you put it on and you're like she's in there she's in there somewhere and I just think that that top has been I've seen it on everywhere I've seen it on every body shape and it's so flattering it's so nice and the colours it's just a bit different but it's still a bit true to the typical to the brand like really nice like bright colours like kind of feel so inspired it's so nice obsessed with it guys I think that is everything that was a great yap and ladies I think we have one more thing to ask of our audience subscribe and guys this podcast is a video so watch it because you can see India and Elle waving their arms around okay you need to watch it thanks so much for tuning in see you later bye bye
