In short
Celebrity culture and entertainment, with a focus on whether celebrity weddings are getting out of control, plus film/TV recommendations and travel/food talk.
Guests
Charlotte Collins (host). Alex Steiner and Billy Batia (co-hosts/guests). They discuss what they’re watching, recent trips (Austria; Salzburg), and their favorite late-night desserts.
Key claims
Celebrity wedding photos can miss the “real” vibe; Juergen Teller’s Ronaldo/Jorgina wedding Vogue cover photos are criticized as “quite shit,” despite the wedding being a private religious ceremony at home. Tom Holland is often dismissed unfairly; he’s shown range beyond kid roles (The Crowded Room, playing Fred Astaire). Robert Pattinson is tipped for Oscar multi-category eligibility due to 2027 rule changes.
Notable examples
Spider-Man (Tom Holland) at the cinema; The Crowded Room (schizophrenia role); Furious (Emmy Rossum); FX’s The Shards (Bret Easton Ellis adaptation); Ronaldo/Jorgina wedding Vogue cover; Austria’s Steyr and Rosewood Salzburg; Fruit Pop frozen cherries and Gelato by Arvo.

0:50Get started at ChatGPT.com by selecting work mode available on Plus and Pro plans. On this week's Chillax podcast, I'm joined by Alex and Billy and it's almost something of an accidental celeb special. We run through all of the films that you need to have on your radar for the season ahead as well as the TV shows that we are hooked to at the moment. There was more to it than just the action. It was quite moving in parts and quite poignant about like you can't be a human and be alone and think that you can manage everything on your own. You do need people, you need community, you need emotions and you need friendship.
1:25There's been yet another celebrity wedding this week and the photos don't necessarily do it justice. I mean, I don't want to smash Jörg and Teller, but the pictures are quite shit. They're really shit. So don't go anywhere. It's a goodie.
1:49Welcome to the Shirlux podcast with me, Charlotte Collins. This week, I'm joined by Alex Steiner and Billy Batia. Hi, both. Hello. This is fun. Have we had this combo before? No. We've had it many times off camera. We just thought we better bring it to the people. Everyone looking very stylish. What are you wearing, Billy? I'm in ASOS jeans, arranged top, Miu Miu sandals, and these earrings from Alana. Love them. I feel like they're sort of dull silver, which I really like. Into it. I love the sandals. I'm in, my shirt is by H &M. Such a goodie. Is that new? such a good shirt thank you yeah a few weeks yes I mean a few weeks yeah I never know when things because things sell out so quickly yeah they do it's particularly because you're selling them out so quickly I can't get my hands on them but I love this I thought it's very pod appropriate my black these are my favourite black trousers they are from wardrobe NYC but I did get them 70 % off on the Netoporter sale which is a dream and then just like the easiest ballerinas by Massimo Dutti they are so comfortable You look very grown up today.
2:58Yeah, you do. Well, you know, it's because I can't get into my jeans yet. It's too hot for jeans. I'm waiting. It's too hot for blazers as well. Hey, I've got jeans on today. These are jeans. Okay, well, I tried. But for me, I'm too, it's too hot for me still. But they're like a baggy jeans. So I feel like the airflow is still there. And they're a good colour as well. Yeah, they are a good colour, actually. They're really nice. Thanks, guys. I'm sort of, I'm straddling autumn. I'm like, I've got one foot in autumn. She's trying. She's trying. She's trying. This blazer is Atelier 95. The belt is a brand called Below the Belt.
3:31See what they did there? They do really good belts. This, the skirt is Zara. I think it's actually, I bought this in like January. So transitional. And Loewe sandals, which were, I think these were my purchases of the summer. They're really good. And I love the pedis, the pale blue pedi with brown. Thank you so much. Looks nice. Listen, it takes quite a lot for me to deviate from my core colors, but this little icy blue was calling my name for the end of summer. It's good with the brown. Thank you so much. Thanks. My school uniform was brown and blue, so it does sometimes give me PTSD, but that's okay.
4:01We're rolling with it. Let's start. Oh, I haven't done a call to action to subscribe. So if you like what you've heard so far, because so far the chat's been awesome, do please subscribe wherever you are watching us or listening to us.
4:19Things we love. Let's get going. What are we loving, ladies? Billie? Okay. I just should caveat that my things are quite basic that I'm loving at the moment. Oh, this is okay. We're all basic. I've not been very well. So I've had a low key week, but I went to see Spider-Man with my dad, which was quite sweet. And I really loved it. Are you into the Marvel world? Yeah, I'm like, look, I'm like Marvel adjacent. I like it. I'm not like, oh my God, I'm going to queue to watch the newest thing. But I feel like it's obviously Tom Holland's and Day of Summer and I wanted to see it. And I thought it was actually like, there was more to it than just the action it was quite moving in parts and quite poignant about like you can't be a human and be alone and think that you can manage everything on your own you do need people you need community you need emotions and you need friendships like it was i mean it's not it's not like that deep but but it was an it was nicely done have you seen the other this is the fourth tom holland's end of right one yeah have you seen the former three yeah okay okay It's a good bonding with my dad activity.
5:21That is really sweet. I've never seen a Marvel film, ever. Not once. No. None of them. No, not Iron Man. Yes, I have. But I know I saw a Spider-Man, but I don't know which one. The one that Jake Gyllenhaal was in. I dip in and out. I'll definitely watch it at some point. I wouldn't go to the cinema to see it. I think you would love Iron Man. I'm not disinterested. It just feels like, how many films are there in this world? 35 or something. You don't need to watch all of them. But then how do you know which ones you do watch? I'll tell you. Okay, thanks. I know what you like because it all connects though doesn't it don't need to like know the whole world but you don't need to watch all of them okay however if you do yeah there is a there is a function on Disney that gives you like the chronological order why is Iron Man the best particularly one oh I think you would like him he's the best character oh and Gwyneth's in those yeah okay he's like the spunkiest the funniest okay you would like those films I just can't keep up with what is Marvel and what is DC yeah okay what's what what's that Anyway, I saw a, like a grid swipe thing about the increase in Tom Holland's salaries over the course of his acting career.
6:26Because obviously he's not actually done that many films. He's probably done like 10. And I don't know, he got paid like 100 grand for his first film. And then the Spider-Mans are where the big jumps are because the last, the third one, it was something like 10 million. And then this one was like 100 million because I think they get covered with their residuals. It brings in so much. I mean, speaking of him, I'm so excited for him because I think he's playing Fred Astaire. He is. And that I'm really excited about because I watched, I loved watching, you know, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers growing up.
6:55So I think he'll be great for that because also maybe for him also it'd give him an ability to do something, again, go back to his dancing, but also do something, you know, very different. You could see the Odyssey maybe was, but I think that'll be, I'm going to look out for that. I feel like he gets a hard breath actually. And it was funny when the film came out, There was loads of like Vanity Fair and kind of, I think like airmail also did a thing about like how Tom Holland just needs to grow up and he's never going to get out of these like kid roles. But like he has done other things that aren't this.
7:28And I think people are very quick to dismiss it because he's just like quite endearing and sweet. I agree. We spoke about him on the podcast when we did it with the SL men a couple of weeks ago and I thought he was really bad in the Odyssey. I spoke about them, but have you seen this show on Apple TV? The Crowded Room where he plays schizophrenia he's amazing and I also think mate sorry if I was being paid 100 million I'd also keep paying the children characters whatever do one more film but also for me often like I think that people can be a bit snobby and I think especially in you know like film critics certain film critics but it's like what's wrong with making people happy often I feel like I'm definitely a candidate for things that aren't depressing I can't watch horror movies or like super depressing things.
8:14But like, what's wrong with entertaining the masses? I mean, I think that's great and it makes people happy. So I think people can be snobs. But you know, again, you're an actor. He's an actor. Yeah. He can, he will do, I think he'll do really well in Fred Astaire. And I think he was really good in Quote Room. So, you know, he's just doing his character. The perfect lunch combo. That first bite of your favorite sub, followed by ice cold Pepsi. Add a couple of friends and now that's next level. Suddenly, the laughs get louder, the stories keep flowing, and the food tastes better. Because Pepsi brings out more flavor, more fun, and more of the moment.
8:52Food deserves Pepsi. Grab a Pepsi Zero Sugar today. This episode is brought to you by ChatGPT. Hey, it's Bill Simmons from the Bill Simmons Podcast. Have you guys heard about ChatGPT work? Get started at ChatGPT.com by selecting work mode available on Plus and Pro plans. We really well. Yes. One of the things I wanted to talk about later was some of the movies that are coming out over the course of the next couple of months.
9:36And Robert Pattinson is having a year. because obviously he's had the odyssey he's got june coming out at the end of the year june 3 which that now that i am invested in oh me too i saw june 2 by myself me too like i'll just i've seen it more than once yeah i love yeah do you like game of thrones yeah okay so you're like i will like it i just haven't like gone there i haven't been dedicated to it that's fair and also they have such a weird film and also he had the drama with zendaya earlier in the year you said it's a weird film it's such a weird film yeah i had to when i first saw the trailer i had to look up what she had done because i was like i don't need to see this movie i just i just need to know the answers anyway and then he has this film coming out um which is premiering at venice uh in a couple of weeks called prime time i don't know if you've seen the trailer yes i'm very excited for that it looks so good there was a reality tv show called to catch a predator hosted by a guy called chris hansen who would basically set up these stings of people like pedophiles online and robert patterson is playing this guy chris hansen and he's produced this film as well anyway speaking of a career that allows you to do mass the guy was in harry potter and twilight and june and the odyssey but then also they're talking about oscar noms obviously already for this role and you know the drama which is something a bit more niche a bit more different also worth flagging while we're talking about this that robert patterson could be about to make oscars history because they have changed the rules for the 2027 oscars basically now any one single actor or actress can be nominated in the same category more than once.
11:05With all of these films that he has coming out, he's tipped to be the person most likely to be eligible to be nominated in multiple categories. He definitely takes himself much more seriously. Do you think? He's funny. He's funny. In interviews, he is hilarious. Interviews with him and Zendaya. Oh my God, he's very funny. I enjoyed all his junkets this year. I just don't think he's, I'm being really mean. I don't fancy him anymore. You surely don't fancy Tom Holland. No, but like, I feel like I've fancied Robert Pattinson so much because he was like Edward Cullen. Yeah, that never did it for me.
11:38And then, you know, so I'm with you. I'm like a pale face vampire. Yeah, we're not into pale anymore. He was like peak yearning. Do you know what I mean? Like, I think for the love of girls, he was, he was a thing. Vampires have never done it for me. Like I've seen, I saw the first Twilight, I think, when it came out. Get some fake tan on. Yeah. I like hockey players, but we'll get to that. So do I. Right, preferably gay ones. Yes. Billy, anything else you're loving? Okay, no, I went to Alex's homeland. I went to Austria for a long weekend. Please tell me you had a good time. I had a great time.
12:10I went to Steyr. Yeah. What's in Steyr? Okay, well, first of all, we had to hike to our accommodation, which was like an hour. Standard. And it's, by accident, I've had mountain summer and I really rate it. But it was like, it's gorgeous. And instead of going to the beach, we went to the river and we like hung out there and it was really cold and really refreshing and like I don't know Austria's just really beautiful and I think there's lots of you know everyone's going to Saint-Tropez and McAnon's and Capri Do you know I love the fact that people are now discovering summer in the mountains like definitely obviously that's what I grew up with and I've always said give me a mountain over a beach any time and I think for a while people are like and it's really become a trend this summer Yeah Well the Dolomites started trending last summer didn't they So now I'm like go away leave me my mountains and my lakes but yeah I mean I love it much more but then you know how I feel about being hot in summer in general so that could be a whole podcast just being hot how much I hate summer so you know but I'm so happy this feels like manageable Austrian summer because you're like yeah yeah it's a better climate what food did you get did you like the food we actually did can find it no I don't like the food now what kind of what are we eating hearty but like in summer like what's it's still quite starch yeah yeah bread I guess because people are so active like they really are I mean everyone everyone else hiked up to the arm I passenger princess I was like I'll take over the luggage and the babies and they got to the top and it like rained and it was lightning and they were like bruised and cut and I was like thank god there was another option but I do think you like need the sustenance yeah I mean it's not a light fare no for sure I like the thing that's like it's like macaroni cheese but it isn't it's like the little Spätzle yeah that's delicious yeah I mean that's Swiss Austria like with the bacon on the top.
13:56It's basically like mac and cheese with bacon bits. But like less cheesy and a bit more dumpling-y than pasta. Wow. Would you recommend if people are looking for an Austrian mountain summer it's Steyr? Steyr? Yeah, there's so many nice places. But I mean, I actually haven't been to Steyr. But like there are, I just think there are so many nice places. And I mean, it just depends how bougie or how basic you want it, I suppose. We kind of middle grounded. Like the arm was like not bougie. That was very much like Like you're in a wooden chalet on top of a mountain. But then we stayed at our friend.
14:28He's got like beautiful apartments that we stayed at. But what I will say is that the history is incredible because you go to America and they're like, this building is like 50 years old and this is the oldest thing in the entire town. They were like, this is a building from the 1400s and it's still standing in its entirety. This was the iron road that like was one of the biggest passages through Europe of like trade and the Roman Empire. And you're like, okay, wow. but there is a huge amount if you like history and a bit more culture than yeah and the countryside really is the countryside like there are some areas that are really not at all like gentrified like it's very like the villages are also like full hands like in a movie yeah like it really is like that but i will say there are a lot of places that are super luxe as well so like you can have like the most advanced like you know resort with everything you can imagine and then you have the more rustic I just I just love it but you know there are there are villages where you go through and people will not speak a word of English like you know to communicate sometimes you think in Europe and I'm only saying that because you think in Europe everybody sort of speaks you know English but there are places turns out they don't yeah but you know but there are places were literally there's like there are hardly any um tourists so i did the um the train over back in march the train overnight put the belmont train from the orient express from paris to venice which is about 25 hours and you go through five countries you go through france switzerland um austria italy and oh my god what's that really tiny one um lichtenstein Liechtenstein.
16:10That must be like... Yeah, that was quick. I think that was while I was asleep. But you go through these chocolate box towns and you see, particularly in Austria and Italy and kind of on the borders of those two countries, all these, like, I mean, as you say, Hansel and Gretel, like, it just looks like it couldn't possibly be real. And, you know, gorgeous sunshine, but snow-capped mountains and these little... Just so perfect, so haven't they? I mean, there's no spraying of champagne bottles on the tables yet. Although in some of the ski resorts, It's starting. There is. It's starting. As we know.
16:41So Ben came home the other day and was like, okay, the most insane new Rosewood has opened. Like, we have to go. And I'm like, well, where is it? He's like, I'm just gagging to go to Salzburg. I was like, well, do you know what happens if we go to Salzburg? We went to that Rosewood. It's not only that if it's that new. Yeah. The Schloss, something Schloss. Maybe, yeah. Everything's a Schloss. Does that narrow it down? It means Castle. Yeah. so we went to what was hilarious is when we me and my friend Julian when we were in the hour and we were like basically let's bougie it up well there was eight of us in one room like we were in like double bunk beds when is this?
17:19on this trip just now? yeah just on one night so it was like kind of part of the adventure sure and me and Jules were like putting these fitted sheets on these bunk beds and we were like not at the fucking Rosewood anymore are we? because we'd been to Salzburg before which is gorgeous and to your point it's like Like, it's really randomly bougie. Like, it's a really tiny town where there's not very much stuff. But then there's, like, a huge fritton. Yeah, because they get the tourists, right? But it's super famous. Yeah, it's so famous. Because of Mozart and everything. And one other big reason.
17:50And that Rosewood is stunning. We went for, like, a big walk around the lake and then we stopped there for, like, coffee and cake. No, listen, I'm sure Ben has a point. But, like, as in, I don't think he's ever seen The Sound of Music. I haven't. Billy, what? I'm not white like we didn't grow up with those things I will stop watching The Sound of Music at the wedding after that yeah there's a point in that film where you can end it as like a lovely happy ending or you can keep going everyone dies and it gets quite no one no I mean no no no it's traumatic it's a certain point in history that isn't glorious no and you know it's a true story as well about a family and what happened to them I mean they weren't necessarily singing as much I don't think it was quite as much singing you didn't sing like that when you grow up I don't think the dad was quite as handsome as Christopher Butler.
18:35Oh, that man. I think you'd enjoy the movie, though. You must watch The Sound of Music. There's loads that I haven't watched. Interesting. I never watched The Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music, like Chitty Bang Bang, any of those films. I mean, there is a lot out there. I mean, I'm sure there's things that I've missed. There's a lot I've missed. Have you seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? That's a classic. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I know the song, but you know, sometimes I don't remember if I saw it or not. I definitely saw The Wizard of Oz. Have I really aged us in this podcast? You know what I love from 1950?
19:06Right, we must move on. Fred Astage and DeRogers. We are by my era. Alex, tell me, what are the things you're loving right now? August is real downtime for me. So I haven't been doing that much in terms of being very active. But I, TV-wise, so I haven't actually been to the movies because I don't know, for me, going to the movies is more like an autumnal thing. I don't know what it, in my mind. It's cozy. So there's a TV show I've been loving, which is called Furious. And it's a female FBI agent chasing a female serial killer. And you know who the killer is from the beginning, so that's not the point.
19:42But it's very interesting. It's really strong female characters. And I thought it was really interesting. It's still ongoing. And I really am into it. Like, it's really gritty. And it's Emmy Rossum. I like her as an actress. So I've been watching that. And while I was watching that, I have developed an obsession. And it's actually not to be laughed at because it's truly a problem. I'm eating these chocolate-covered frozen cherries from this brand Fruit Pop. I have a bag a day. And it's actually a problem. So I know this sounds a bit stupid, but I go home. It's my pleasure. I watch my show. I cannot stop eating this stuff.
20:27It is so delicious. But I think I actually have an addiction. I need to stop. Every time I say I'm not going to get. I order it on Zap. And every time we do an order, I'm like, I'm not going to order it. It's like, you know, that's what an addict is. I'm actually completely addicted. Listen, there are worse things to be addicted to. Is it like a true fruit? There's some fruit in there. Yeah, it's cherry. It's a frozen cherry covered in white and dark chocolate. Yeah, like a true fruit. I'm not joking. Like, I know it seems ridiculous, but I eat a pack a day. Are you worried about yourself? Yeah, because I don't eat meals because of it.
21:00Because I'm so, that's my sustenance. That's for me. No, no. It is so good. You guys have to get onto it. It is so delicious. She's trying to make us all out of it. Yeah, it's amazing. And because that's not enough, do we all love, you know when you're in Italy on holiday, that late night gelato run. I mean, there's a theme here. I love ice cream and sweet things. And I found a place in Promo's Hill. So it's this new place that opened in Promo's Hill. and it's specifically, it's like, it stays open late. So it only opens at like lunchtime and it stays open late. And it's like an Italian late night gelato vibe.
21:32And it's so nice. It's on the high street. Yes. And it's called Gelato by Arvo. Okay. And it's so fun. And it literally feels like, you know, that thing when you're like, oh, let's just go for a walk in the center of town after, you know, in Italy. That's the vibe. Oh, I love that. So me, it's all about like, I'm going to end up with like a big sugar problem. but that's okay those are the things that i'm loving at the moment because you know i like going out after like even if you're at home going for a late night ice cream there's a place opposite electric in notting hill which stays open till nine it's not that late but you can you know that's like post dinner and also some of the new fro-yo places that have opened in london so there's go greek which has just opened that's very healthy mica it doesn't it doesn't have to there are ways um mica which i so i had it in miami it's actually this is a madrid-based brand it might yes yes so i had it in miami in january changed my life had it in new york in may it was fine had it in london last week also it's good it's good you can only do can only life changing the first time i think you're right but it's just nothing's quite as good as that time in miami but i do like that these frio places and that stays open till 10 i love a frio me too and And that's a fun, Ben and I, we went, add lots of shit to it.
22:44Yeah, it does. Preferably frozen cherries and chocolate. But Micah, they do, they do really good like compote. So there's like a fig compote or an orange one and there's a pistachio. You know, they're quite, they're quite like bougie toppings. It's grown up. It's grown up. No smarties. It's not a smarties. It's not like a, like a cookie dough smarties situation. It's not about that. But it's so, it is really good. I highly recommend it. And yeah, and we just, we got in the car after dinner. we sat in the boot of our car we like popped the boot and sat in the boot with our friends I love it talking of TV can I talk to you about The Shards oh my god yes okay so The Shards has had a lot of press you said this to me before you were like they've been everywhere this cast they're everywhere so this is an adaptation of a book by Brett Easton Ellis who also wrote American Psycho and I read the book about two years ago so I was so excited for this to come out because it's one of those books that you picture the cast so clearly you know there's ones where you're like who is going to play this and who is going to play that.
23:38They're so viscerally described. And you were talking before about the fact that you're re-watching Gossip Girl right now. And this is Gossip Girl set in the 80s with a bit of murder, right? The storyline is - Oh, juicy. Yeah, totally. It's written from the perspective of Brett as a teenager. He is part of this cohort of kind of Beverly Hills teenagers whose parents have all the money in the world. They all work in Hollywood. The parents fuck off and leave the kids. So the casting is on point. The casting is on point. Because of art reflecting life, exactly. And a new boy turns up at school, a mysterious, handsome new boy, at the same time as lots of people start getting murdered in Hollywood in dark, mysterious ways, particularly young girls kind of of school age, the age that the cast of characters are at.
24:25And I should say that Brett is very suspicious of this new boy, Robert. That's the premise. Which one does Homer Gear play? Homer Gear plays new boy, Robert. Everyone sort of falls for his chance quite quickly, but bread is quite suspicious so kaya gerber plays susan who's like exactly what you'd imagine kaya but you know she's like the popular one the hot one and i was nervous to watch the adaptation because obviously when you when you've loved a book and it's one of those but it's about 800 pages and you just oh wow it's big it's a it's a beast but you fly through it because it's it's well written and it's juicy and it's the world that he builds of this kind of gorgeous oh i mean it's not quite old hollywood but you know that 80s hollywood glamour and there's there's some nostalgia in it you know they're listening to tapes and they're calling the landlines and it's the music all of those elements make it make it something that's really visual the the show is better because they actually it's ryan murphy right so obviously it's so visual it's so it's so true to the time but like so heightened and so you get you get all that glamour and all that drama that you love in the book but you get to actually see it and these people are almost 10 times better looking than you could even have imagined them to be in the book it's gory because what happens in the book and in the story is is a little bit gruesome and gory but that's quite good shock factor but you know you've sold it to me fx is the shards is streaming now on disney plus so i'll be watching you go and give it a watch the perfect lunch combo that first bite of your favorite sub followed by ice cold pepsi add a couple of friends and now that's next level Suddenly, the laughs get louder, the stories keep flowing, and the food tastes better.

26:45Okay, we've got to get into celebrity because we have to talk about... Actually, do you know what? It's been a big week for celebrity photo shoots, hasn't it? We've got to talk about the digital Vogue cover for September, which is Juergen Teller's photographs of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jorjina's wedding. Is it Jorjina? Either way, it's not Georgina. Anyway, receiving some flack online, these photographs for... Listen, can I start with some positives? I really... They could have done... They could have had the most ostentatious wedding in the whole world. and they did a really private religious ceremony at home with their children.
27:22It was really sweet. I love that. I think that's really cool of them. I mean, I loved it. I wasn't there. I loved what I saw of it. The photos. Interesting. I don't know whether it's like deliberately lo-fi to be in keeping with the wedding and possibly with them wanting to still maintain this grounded family unit, even though she is dripping in her incredible amount of diamonds but I mean I don't want to smash Juergen Teller but the pictures are quite shit they're really shit they're really shit I just think you don't understand there's a very many look I've seen very many amazing Juergen Teller shoes but if you remember this one where he did the cover of ES magazine and it was like shot on iPhone.
28:16Do you remember this? Yes. Agentele did it. And it was one of the worst things I've ever seen. I'm like, you are one of the most incredible photographers in the world. You should be able to use an iPhone as a tool. See, what I will say is like, being a wedding photographer is a separate job. He's obviously not a wedding photographer. No, sure. But this was like, I'm just like, yeah, you're right. Maybe he shouldn't do weddings. No weddings, please. Just stick to high fashion. There are so many amazing and god obviously ronaldo is not going to get some wedding photographer off the internet i understand why if you're ronaldo you're employing jagantela or similar for this kind of event but if you want lo-fi there are people who do that incredibly well yeah this is just not good strange it's just they're not they're not photos that i think if it was your big day you would want to look at and be like wow wow this has encapsulated it so well okay here's a better question then who if you were getting married next weekend who are you having to shoot your wedding it's funny how the trends for i think photography more than any other wedding trend evolves quickly and so you know there's obviously every year there's such a sort of type of wedding photography that exists and weddings in general i'm sorry i know we're not talking about wedding it's gone the wedding the whole wedding everything has gone beyond i mean it's much insane like it's just like what I mean it makes I when I got married I eloped but you know I that was many years ago to be honest with you I probably do the same something lucky I would do I would do I would do a Cristiano Ronaldo no but I love I love I would do a September vote cover I would do just do like a little I would do no I would do a her Brits uh vibe yeah she no but I I would definitely elope again.
30:09I was ahead of the times, but I will. You always are, Alex. Thanks, babe. But the problem is there is not one photograph of my wedding, by the way. Are we okay with not having the photos? Me in the Elvis Chapel. Did you? You did Vegas? I'm married in Vegas. Yeah, yeah. It was actually a really cool wedding. That is really cool. Yeah, but you know, my parents weren't so happy. It's another story. Anyway, moving on. I would have Tim Walker. Oh, yes. I want a fantasy, drama, escape. Because like, look, it would be lovely to have Annie Leibowitz take my photo at some point in my life. Would it? Maybe not actually, but like, oh yeah, I'd love a Pat, but not for my wedding.
30:41I want an Annie Leibowitz photo where I'm like in a suit. Yeah. In like a really sexy office. For your LinkedIn. For my LinkedIn. Yeah. We'll have Annie for LinkedIn. If she can do my headshot, that would be great. Tim for the wedding. You guys are too much. Tim for the wedding. Imagine just like a veil and some like incredible tree and playing with scale. Like Ben could be like a little small thing there and I could be this bit, yeah. Tim Walker, hit me up. That's what I do. what about you I did like whoever shot Tommy Paul and Paige Lorenz's wedding that was beautiful that was really beautiful that was probably slightly less ambitious than mine I mean I think you could get him can we have Mario you can get him can I have Mario yeah you can have Mario you know what I was actually thinking to myself you know whoever did Dua Lipa I want to be glossy because I loved the vibe right I think we've all been sweltering down here for long enough I think that's all we've got time for thank you both so much and thank you for listening don't forget please to subscribe wherever you are listening to us from whether it's Audible, Spotify, YouTube.

There’s also a deep dive into The Shards, Ryan Murphy’s glossy, dark adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ novel, complete with 80s Hollywood glamour, Kaia Gerber and plenty of drama.
Elsewhere, they dissect Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest wedding photos, debate the rise of mountain summers and share what they’re shopping as autumn approaches. Expect skincare recommendations, the foundation Alex calls one of the best she’s ever tried, new-season leather, cashmere and some seriously divisive shoes.
