Yeah, when you came in in jeans. i thought okay in england that we get 33 degree heat and you can mix it up like you were just on holiday too like did you not well that's why because i came back late last night and it was kind of cool so i was like okay i don't know what 33 degrees feels like in london because it's been a year so i was like look i'll just wear this top and jeans also i haven't unpacked like there's just so much too much exactly so i was like jeans this top blah blah um step out the house it was boiling couldn't turn around because i was running late but anyways my jeans are from zara love them I'm wearing these wedge sandal thingies from Lindsay.

1:30I love them. They're quite high, but they're very comfortable. And I can't walk in high heels, so these are great. And then my top is Reformation. I love the pink and the sleeves. Thank you. I don't have any pink in my underwear. That color really suits you. More pink this summer. More summer pinks for India. Also pinks. Anjali, what are you wearing? I've got these really cute ballet flat pumps type things from Suzanne. I love that. These are my babies. I these are my ladies ladies this skirt polka dots of course from naked nice and then the top is the one I wear all the time from uniclo kids section and then the kitchen yes it's my favorite thing to do just be like what do you guys because always so much cheaper yeah cropped fit because this is like maybe I should get on the way I think you should in your you know why are you not shopping in the children kids because it's the same like erism yeah Yeah, no, Lily, it's so good.

2:25And it's so much cheaper. Zara men, Zara kids. The whole chain. Zara is just for you. Oh, nice. Where's your necklace from? Oh, necklace. I actually got last summer when I was in Lisbon. I walked in this random little jewelry shop, and they had a charm bar in the back. So I put the charms together and chose the necklace. Oh, that's really cool. Yeah, and then these earrings are from Mango. I got them two years ago, and they're generally just my summer earrings. Love it. Which I went kind of just comfy today because I saw the temper and I just thought, if I get hot and bothered. So I'm literally just wearing a plain black tank from Zara and then these really nice flowy white shorts that have thicker polka dots on them and then my trusty ASOS black ballet flats and then my earrings are from a small business called Mamara.

3:10Your whole outfit is just like slain. I love the jewellery. It's so simple but you look so good. Oh, stop. It looks great. Thank you. You're welcome. I don't even know what to say. She's speechless.

3:26Right, well we've got a lot to get into with the hot list and the TV, everything that's going on at the moment. Firstly, topic of the office, off campus. Yay, hockey players. Like, honestly, do you know what it is? It's giving heated rivalry, but Gen Z version. Yes. Also like straight. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just straight heated rivalry. Yeah. It's really good. First up, cast. Okay, they're all so fit. I think that's why everybody's so hooked into the show. Because every character, or even not just the men. Even like the dads. Yeah, yeah, even the dads. Kevin Ball, I was like watching this and I was like, hold up.

4:00I know like BookTok is all over, of course, because it's a book adaptation. Whole series, there's several books for like, I think pretty much each character's love story, but they've decided to break it up. So each semester is a season and they'll focus on a couple of different couples. They don't think they're going to go the Bridgerton format, which is like each season, different couple. So next season, I think we're getting Dean and Ali. Of course we saw a bit of them. Yes. You're on episode two as well, aren't you? Yeah. I'm sorry guys. I'm literally doing this. It's actually kind of fine because I've been sucked into the TikTok edits that I've accidentally seen the odd thing.

4:34And I also saw, I'm at the point in episode two where Ali and Dean end up dancing. He tries to kiss her and she's like, she's in the jacket. That outfit. Oh my God. You know when you play on the floor on Spotify now, the video is them. No way. No way. It's so good. I was just like hot and flustered. I want that stress. I want it and I want it now. They custom made it for her. I was like, ship me one, I beg. Please, guys. I saw her and I thought that is the best looking. I would normally find that scene cringe, but I was like, you actively look insane. And she's just so hot. The dancing, she was really controlling the floor.

5:09And I would never dance alone in the middle of the dance floor. But Ali makes me want to dance in the middle of the floor. I want to be her. And the way she just marched off and thought, get back. I was like, come on. It was a lingering look, and he was like, damn, I've got to get to her anyways. I'm excited to watch the rest, because I'm in episode two. It's pretty good. I mean, again, I kind of love that playboy turned lover boy type of thing. I think it's so cute. So that's next season. And so you know John Logan, the brunette one? Yes. Okay, so apparently his love interest also, we might get a bit of them next season, because they've announced the casting for her.

5:44Oh. So that's pretty cute as well. I'm quite excited. I actually didn't really know like much about him, but him, himself the actor, he's Renee Rapp's ex-boyfriend. What? So apparently, you know the song - Is this before she came out? Yeah, like before. But you know the song, I Hate Boston? It was from like her album, the Snow Angel album, and In the Kitchen, apparently the songs are like, she said that, she has said in interviews that like, oh, no songs are like specifically about specific people, because it's just her process, but most people suspect. But they were like both on Broadway. like so they were like so he can sing I like watched a video the other day of him doing it's a song from tangled though now I see the light or something of him saying that yeah I think he needs to be Flynn Rider guys like actually oh he's a great video later I'll show you guys because he is so good but so if you've read the books I've not I just I don't know if I will a lot of people are saying that this show is actually better than the books really There's like two camps of people right now I've been seeing on TikTok is you've got the diehard book talkers who are like, they changed this, they changed that, I don't like this.

6:53And then there's some people being like, I've read the books and I think this actually fits the cultural context now. I see. I think the books were set like 2014, 2012, like a bit a while ago. So there's certain things that happen in the books that people are like, that would be quite toxic now and things like that. So for example, one of the things that people are kind of upset with or happy about is when Hannah and Garrett break up, he invokes a campus hands-off rule. Right. So no one can go near her? Like nobody. No one else can get with Hannah because I've been with her. Basically she broke up with him under the guise of like, we should see other people moving too fast.

7:27So then he invokes a campus-wide hands-off rule. Of course he's like big star hockey player. Oh, campus-wide. Like their uni. I was just thinking their house, like none of the boys in his house. No. He's thinking no one could, yeah. Oh, wait. So everybody's like, that's so toxic, right? So now what they've done is they've kept it in there. It happens, but he's actually not the one that invokes it. It's like a rumor that starts. Somebody gets it misconstrued. And then she confronts him. He's like, I would never do that to you. Like you can go with whoever you want. Like he seems actually heartfelt about it.

7:56Oh guys, I can't wait to watch it. It's so good. I love that. I'm like, oh my God, get me. And also imagining Bauma, I'm like. Oh, he's unreal. If my ex invoked a campus wide hands off rule, I'd be flattered. you're that obsessed with me that you want no one else touch obviously i'd be a bit i'd be pissed yeah i think also like of course you wouldn't want somebody else taking control of her autonomy and stuff right so i think changing that flows a lot better yeah so that's what people are kind of happy about i would say like we don't need toxic romances because a lot of these shows like romance ones like tell me lies and all that they're popular but there's also like a huge toxicity element but we don't need that do we like this show is still really good well i like how they've adapted it to like the current time and yeah that would not fly now and we would all be quite angry about that and upset yeah that's good I love the show so when does season two come out they're meant to be starting filming apparently like maybe end of the year like who knows but they're meant to be doing that so probably like late next year like I'm not thinking I just this is why I'm almost dragging it out because I don't want to do I don't want it to end I don't want to just bomb it out.

9:04Then you're just stuck like me. Just like, I want to try and time it so as I finish, then Love Island kicks off. So I've got like a week. I mean, you've got a week. I've got a week. That's smart. That's a good piece. Do you know what I mean? So is everyone back next season? Is it the exact same cast again? Sadly, for fans of Josh Houston, who plays Justin, are gorgeous. 12:50I need to show you have you seen the tickles actually you're so beautiful it's unreal there you go actually maybe I don't listen to that wait wait guys that's way more ronchy than I thought yeah I know so Charlotte and Lou listen to this yeah Charlotte's talking about it on in Paris and I was like well It says May 28th, guys. 13:27Literally, I'll sit right here right now and he's just doing it into a mic. It would actually make me itch. I'd be the person on the screen watching it like that. On the topic of young love as well, have you seen that Alex Earl has posted a TikTok of her crying over Braxton, her ex? Oh no. And everyone's giving her such credit for being so vulnerable. And basically, it's kind of caused a bit of controversy because they're at parties together and it's for the guy who owns, I think, Sit Marg. So obviously Alex is a rep, but he's also one of Braxton's best mates. I see, yeah. So they were both expected to be there anyways.

14:02They go and there's loads of videos of them chatting, dancing in similar circles. and then when she gets home and she's taking off her makeup, she puts her phone up and she just talks about how they were getting on really well and they're in a really good place and they're really civil but then she was like, oh, I then found myself when I'd lost him in the crowd being like, oh, where is he? And looking around the room and then she basically starts getting upset and talks about how hard it is to actually get over an ex and basically the story is he left the party and his girlfriend, that Holly Ford girl that's been here in the room Well, we don't know.

14:36I think so that's been rumored to be seeing him landed in Miami that evening. So everyone's like, I think he left the party to go pick up Holly. But then everyone's like, is that peak on Holly that he's, she's arriving and there's just mass media that he's just been at a party boogieing with his ex. But then a lot of people are like, Braxton has handled it maybe in the best way he can. But then it is just really sad for Alex. I'm like, she seems to be the one having to go and put on a brave face and if he is seeing someone else. Yeah. I think it always sort of been worse if he had like actively ignored her and like yeah it's so civil it seems to be but it's so hard but i do get alex like i don't know about you guys but we've all been in that situation where you like come into contact with someone that you were seeing or were dating in like a group setting with all your friends and you kind of have to play it off like you're cool and you're chilling and then they leave and you're literally like where is he where is he where is he where are they and it's just like the rest of your night is ruined because you're just thinking about this guy when they leave it's where have you gone yeah and also it's the stab of they've gone it's like oh did you not want to stay here yeah she might be like did you not want to stay at the party like karen chad yeah like i look sick i look hot as fuck i'm really great i've got a great personality why would you not want to stay here with me yeah are you guys an ignore or say hi to an ex oh depends on how it ends oh give me scenario when would you say hi when would you air it okay if it was like amicable and we have like similar friends and things like that like i knew i'd be seeing them yeah i'm cool with saying like hey how are you chatting and stuff like that.

16:03If it did not end well I would duck and run. I am duck and hiding, I'm running away. It's just so criminal. And I hope Alex is coming there now. I know, me too. I also just really think, I mean I literally don't know the girl but I'm like I hope she finds someone. And she also posted on her story the other day like what do people actually want to see in reality shows. Oh really? And it was like do you want to see family drama? Do you want to see BTS of really cool work events? Do you want to see Love and My Dating Life? And she like screenshotted the poem reposting it was something like 80 % of everyone said love relationships.

16:33You're dating. Their show is going to be on Netflix, right? And then she replied back being like, well, there is no one at the moment. But I'm like, interesting, you know, maybe this is another, not PR stunt, but like. But is it going to like pivot the direction of the reality show to be more like, where's Alex Love Life? I think it just might be like segments of it. Like maybe they'll try to film. I wonder if he'll be in it. No. I think they started filming after they broke up, right? Oh, really? Or did they start? You know, when they like sit down, it's like Braxton Berry. Congressionals! Yeah, and he's just sat there like, so.

17:06So nice. It's just silence. Before we get into another TikTok drama, Patrick Tarr's blush situation. Can you talk us through, Angelina, what the four and the five are? Yes. Okay. They're my new favorite TikTok it girls. Basically, there are four girls living in the five boroughs in New York City, and they've created a group TikTok account. Same. And I think they must have started this in April, and they've already surpassed, like I swear they have over like 40 ,000 followers. Like for something. Like they're like skyrocketed. They're getting brand deals. The other day I saw on their TikTok, they got invited to a private shopping event at Polen, like just for them.

17:42No way. Yeah, in New York City. And their lives are just so cool. So basically it's just like a group TikTok account and they all post content on it like individually. But also like when they hang out, they do little vlogs of like, this is what we're doing today. And they're all in their 20s, working in different industries. I think that some of them, one of them's in finance, one of them's in account executive, corporate marketing, content creation. So like they're all in different industries, so you get different bits of their lives. And I'm just so obsessed with them and they're just so cool.

18:08I'm like, I wanna go to New York City. That's so smart. And be friends with them. I think like group social media accounts are kind of genius. Yeah, I've never seen that. Everyone's saying that that's the new thing of this year. Really? Like the solo influences like Alex L, Jake Shane, they've had to slowly adapt into bringing like, Alex L's got her family and friends. Jake Shane's got his friends famous. And like the squad mentality is like what everyone's loving because you can see the different characters and you can see the different angles. Like let's say Sally's doing a video of Ashton's birthday.

18:39You're also getting a different side and take that Ashton might not film. Yeah, I'm really loving that bit of it. Like you get all of their accounts as well, like on their individual accounts. That's what I like. And they always do this thing with like a narrator in some of their videos, like that little, you know, that TikTok narrator. Yeah, so it's like, welcome back to the four and the five and it's the sex in the city like theme in the background so it really reminds me of like sex in the city all that show girlfriends like in the 90s that tracy ellis ross was in oh yeah that type of vibe like i really like they're just cool effortless like okay this is our day and like them on nights out they film like all the funny tiktoks but also it's like okay we're getting ready with me and you can look at each other get ready with me it's so cool it's so smart though because there are so many like established as you were saying single content creators that have been creating content since they were teenagers.

19:26It's so hard to get up to that level now or in the 21st century knowing that people have been doing this for ages and it's taking them time to get there. If you want to blow up overnight or just get a following quickly, I guess it's easier to do it in a group. You need a niche. This is a niche, but no, their videos are pretty good. I love them. I can't wait to stalk them. I know, they're just so cool. Which one would you be? Ooh, okay, I think my favorite is Ivana. She's a content creator and like a model. So I really like her. But also I really like Gabby's content because I kind of like the finance but also like fashion girly.

20:01Wait, so do they edit it themselves? So is it like a different editing style based on each person's video? Cause that would be - No. I'm not gonna lie, those vlogs must be a lot of admin. Yeah. After all filming, who's editing this? Yeah, like is there a key, is the content creator? Is she key editor or? I wonder if she is maybe she is because that's like her thing yeah also it's so relatable because like us in our early 20s everyone going into different jobs in different areas of like life everyone's like doing something different and I always want to know what my friends are getting up to but like I can't talk to them every single day maybe you've got like a group so it's actually really cool like even this bank holiday like the way people have done different things I'm like and you know how everyone always says like oh god our friendship group could be a reality show I'm like that's the kind of thing I want to see I want to see that in my friendship group I know, I kind of love the vlog, so yeah.

20:49That's my new favorite content creators. Okay, so, well a content creator who's got a bit of controversy around them. Oh, here we go. Patrick Tarr's Blush Drama. I love beauty guru drama, guys. It goes way back. The golden age of YouTube. Who was the woman who fell out with James Tarr? Tattie, yes. Bye sister. The world was shocked. I was so into that. Oh my gosh. No way. So Patrick Tarr, bit of hot water. So what's the, what's the crack? What happened? And so there's two parts of this drama. First is the product itself. So he's released a transition blush system. And to get that, you know, that like sweeping, like under eye blush to like heavier blush effect.

21:28He's said that like, oh, these are the three products that you need to recreate this look. And you can buy it as a set on his site. But that's like almost 100 pounds. And on top of that, he's also released a brush to get the specific look. So if you get the full set to get this look, it's kind of like, why? You're spending 130 pounds just for a blush. Exactly. And the transition blushes themselves, they just look like the major headlines blush, but with a lower pigment load. So some content creators I followed showed like they are actually quite sheer. Oh, really? So it really kind of acts more as like a tinted setting powder to match the blush.

22:00When in reality, you could just use like, I don't know, like put a peach pie. Or you could like to use the original blush. Yeah. You could just use less blush. yeah so that's what people are a bit upset about because it's got the blush duos and then also the liquid blush bit but people are like again the liquid blush isn't even that pigmented yeah because you're meant to put it with your concealer and people like well you don't even see it especially on deeper skin tones it's like disappears you're talking about and then on top of that he recommends you use it with his major headlines blushes and then you can get them okay now he's taking the Everybody's like, come on now, Patrick.

22:35You can get this look. It's been around for a bit. People have been doing it. And they haven't had your whole collection. I really want to see what this look looks like. I'll show you guys in a bit. Tyler had this, like, I don't know what. Concert looks are always kind of like that. Her makeup looked amazing. But it's that technique. So is it really bright here and it just goes out? No, it's brighter here and it's, like, softer diffused. Yeah, it's just really diffused into your concealer, into your under eye. And it goes a bit, like, harsher towards the end. or tools like and it looks great but then that takes you to the second part of the drama because Painted by Esther actually does Tyler's makeup and Painted by Esther or people are saying that Patrick Tarr has taken this what's it called?

23:18The transition blush look I guess she like popularised it right you would say? People are saying that Painted Practic Tarr has taken this transition blush look from Painted by Esther and has stolen that because she's been doing it for years and he's come out and done it literally the same week she has done a brand with coasters so that's why people are kind of like what the hell's going because didn't she come up with a response video yes so she'd come up for the response video and that was a bit i felt bad for her because in the video she even says like she's a bit scared to talk about this because she's one singular makeup artist patrick tells like a massive makeup artist and a brand so she said somebody from patrick's team had actually tried to book a makeup session with her and she'd accepted it and then i guess like a week before the actual booking her team was like oh the person wants to record you doing the makeup and she was like that's a bit iffy like no so she canceled the booking and basically speculated that they were just going to use that so in the video that patrick tar has now i guess like explaining the transition blushes and how to use them one part of it he says like oh he created this like category like oh this is a new trademark like i think he's trademarked the name transition blushes which is like crazy i don't know how i feel about this what do you think i love patrick tar like i've loved him for ages i love his makeup i love him like he's just so cool and i think it looks really bad that she posted her tutorial with cosas with this transition blush technique on like i don't know last wednesday and then patrick tar came out with his video on like the friday or saturday yeah that does look bad but i was reading his comments and obviously he had loads of up and down comments some were like this is terrible you stolen this whatever others were like oh actually she never said that she created this look no he never said that he created this look yeah this transition blush look has been around for ages and maybe painted by esther popularized it but it doesn't mean that patrick patrick tar hasn't been doing this for years before yeah so just because it's been popularized by esther it doesn't necessarily mean patrick tar has to give credit to esther because it's not her so that is where it takes a long time to produce my thoughts because of the product he's not seen in the video and gone right team exactly that's exactly where i saw it actually it's a bit he's not copied her directly like us working social media we know how long it takes for videos to get approved be edited for all you know he probably filmed that video two weeks before and he she just happened to release her video two days around the same time before he did so there's a lot of like back and forth in it yeah i think i guess like the main part again like how expensive the product is.

25:55I guess that's more. But like nothing. And then I guess, yeah, people are a bit upset because then in the comments, I think he was quite fiery about it. And then also her response again in the video being like somebody from his team wanted to watch me do makeup. I think that's weird. And film it is like slightly sketchy. I don't know what happened to that. Because if the product's been in development for like a year or something like that, I guess the other thing is like Esther has been doing this makeup style for like quite a bit. And she even says in her video like, oh, I didn't invent this makeup style.

26:20I know that guys. Because she says that like it wasn't my makeup style. I think she's like Kevin Aucoin like makeup artist from years ago. Like that's where she started learning that from. So I think she was just a bit like, I guess they're like a bigger company. Yeah. She doesn't know how to like navigate it. Which is quite sad, I guess, in terms of like she's one person. It's interesting. Would you buy the transition? Yeah. Would you buy the transition blush? I don't like hate Patrick Ta. I want to try it now for the banter. I want to see how to do it. I want to pay 100 quid for it. Well, Patrick Ta, I do love you, but I don't know what's going on there.

And I think it's worked like pretty well. because I was out yesterday like all day came home makeup still looked nice and glowy not melted off my face it was great so the Say City setting spray I never really used a setting spray but in the heat I've been using the L 'Oreal one that literally looks like a hairspray oh the one Lola showed me yeah and I'm like that one's surely locking it in but the beauty I've got two beauty favourites and one of them Steph got me on Twitter has she ever told you about the Huda Beauty lip stain and shade cinnamon no no oh my god so every time I've seen Steph just around the office I'm like your lips like god forbid it looked incredible and so i asked her multiple times because i can't forget you know when you're like wait what is that again yeah yeah and then in the week on the weekend i was out shopping and i saw it in real life and i didn't want to risk ordering the color and then not liking it yeah so i saw there in the shop and i was i'll give a bit of a test and i absolutely loved it i've forgotten it today in my bag but i used it all over the weekend because it's lip stain it does last really well and it's not one of those ones we have to rub something off or peel something off you just put it on give it a bit of a smudge and it is the nicest colour looks natural lasts all day like you know when you're like I found a good like this is just taking my makeup from a 6 to a 9 yeah it's like nailed in the shade and then the other thing that I've been loving is we all know I'm a bronzer gal I'm a fake tan bronzer gal she is tagged and summer Fridays have just come out with a cream bronzer ooh nice yes and I normally use the Chanel one but I hit pan and like can't be buying one of those every week yeah no anyways so I went and got the Summer Fridays one and I can't remember which shade I am but I got two just in case.
