3:36they are they are they're genuinely my favourite jeans and another stylish guy that I know he wears them all the time as well they are so good I've got so much now like the fit of everything like everything it's unbelievable like compared to when we were growing up yeah I know it's very different high school yeah was it like the topless models in ever crumbie sort of a very toxic culture yeah but now rebrand is great there's no topless 16 year olds in the shop which for most unless unless you're an american billionaire they'll be very sad that there's no yeah these are really nice and then i've got um this is what is this beckham boss Oh no way By the man himself Yeah sick Which one?

4:17Brooklyn No David Oh my right I think it would look a bit different If it was Brooklyn Yeah yeah His would be like holes I was going to say holes Yeah And then I've got Russell and Bromley loafers With the kind of Roosh Touch And I only found out recently That they've been Dissolved Yes Into Next Next yeah Crazy Go to Russellbromley.com Straight to Next Yeah, yeah, yeah. Really? They own everything. They're everything over. Reese, they own Reese 2 now. Do they? Yeah. Yes. Reese. They own Made.com. Somebody in the office told me that, so I'm just going to confirm yes. Okay. Because when I said about Rattling, they said about Reese 2.

4:57Yeah. They've got the furniture company, Made.com, as well now. Do you need to shop anywhere else? Other than Next. It's just Next. Just Next. One day it's just going to be Next and Amazon. That's it. Just competing. It's going to be a final title. Titan battle Jeff Bezos Hand to hand combat With whoever Who is the owner Of next That's the thing That's what I was thinking No one knows More evil than no one knows Yeah Yeah yeah yeah But yeah that's me I was actually going to say I was going to I was going to wear some like Slightly tinted glasses I feel that's quite a cool look For a podcast Yeah You know you can still see everyone But I took mine off Rockstar Oh yeah you had some yellow ones I have yellow ones Right yeah You've got to wear it with absolute confidence and so the second i was there like should i wear these for the podcast i was like that's a no because otherwise you sit there and you're constantly aware like i'm wearing glasses like you're wearing it with absolute i wouldn't even say i need to see though yeah yeah exactly and it looks amazing you wouldn't second guess it whereas if i was i'd be like really like furtively glancing around yeah yeah very aware of my tinted spectacles yeah so no no glasses yet yeah no one's complimented yeah your yellow ones are nice though i would have complimented you they They are nice.

6:09They're really, really nice. They're Ronny. Ronny's a nice one. Oh, nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We've seen that before.

6:17Let's get into things we're loving at the moment. So that could be books, TV shows. Ooh. The list goes on. What's everyone into? I read a book recently called Perfume. Okay. And I'm right at the end of that. It's amazing. It's like, it's about this. It's set in like, I think, 18th or 19th century France. and there's this like awful person called Grenouille. And he's sort of almost not human, but his sense of smell is so incredible. He can tell like, like he can tell who's in different rooms because he can smell every single object and it's about him. It's so creepy. It gets quite dark. It's really creepy and it gets quite dark, but it's unbelievable.

6:53So I've really enjoyed that. What kinds of things is he smelling in the book? So he'll be able to smell like, he'll smell every single texture of that picture frame. So he walks around blindfolded because he has a perfect picture of the world based entirely on scent. Wow. You can smell people coming from a mile away and like individuals. It's like, and the way it goes in and describes it, it's unbelievable. So when you say it gets dark, can you just give us a... It's what, the book's called Perfume, the Story of a Murderer. And so Grenouille is a murderer. He's not a good guy. You're not there like, go on, Grenouille.

7:23You're like, no, Grenouille. Ah, what are you doing? Grenouille, no. Can you smell emotions or is that a bit too far? Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's different effects you have when you smell, right? So it's like if someone's, like, your scent will slightly shift. And the way they describe it, and the writer makes it, what's it? Susskind. Andrew or Peter Susskind, I think it's called. And the way he describes it is, describes? The way he describes it is unbelievable. Yeah. What's everyone wearing today, scent-wise? Would Grenouille approve? He would. Oh, yeah, 1 ,000%. And I can tell, I can say mine.

8:04Oh yeah. Yeah, I can say mine. So Tunde for the longest time used to gatekeep his fragrance. Or maybe he's gatekeeping another one now. Yeah, I am. That's what I'm doing. There's always one being hedgered. It's quite funny. I'm wearing Chanel and a lion today. Ooh. Part of the L-exclusive range. You will 1 ,000 and get a compliment if you wear this fragrance. Really? Billion percent. One person will pass me. Yeah. One billion. I walked in through the office and Caroline said to me, I knew that you were here because you smell so good. That's great. That's a very good thing. Definitely a confidence booster.

8:36Yeah. When someone tells you you smell nice. Yeah. It's amazing. That's actually, you know what? That's another thing. You know how it's getting warmer? When I'm on the tube, right, and you've got your outfit on and your fragrance on and you're rushing and then you suddenly get onto the tube and it's like a million degrees. You're sweating your ass out. Yeah. I've got this like shark chill pill thing which is a little portable sexy little fan and it like mist you and everything. And so rather than getting on the tube, sweating and then like sweating through the fragrance and stinking, now I smell amazing.

9:06And you see everyone else suffering in their layers and layers and layers, like hating life. Like, ugh. And I'm sat there like I'm in a movie or a commercial misting myself. And like slow-mo, like misting, like whip hair in the fan. It's unbelievable. That's another thing I love. That sounds great. I did read somewhere about what people like to do to sort of like keep themselves cool. and I read somewhere that some people put like panty liners on their armpits. Really? How strange is that? But that's the levels you have to go through. What? What do you mean? You can just buy them, right? They're like the pads, aren't they?

9:46I don't know. What was the official term for them? Yeah. But like, that's mental. So strange. Just get a pad. Just get a chill. And it looks cool. My friends used to like, because sweat when you're a teenage boy yeah sweating is such a difficult yeah it is and obviously kind of smell from it as well so some people get really self-conscious yeah and my friends were trying like experimental ways to try and stop them from sweating and stuff and just yeah i need an example like putting mad chemicals on their armpits that basically just block all the pores that's so bad it's so bad as in a chemical that's not been tried and tested or just they just i don't know they're just going in the chemistry lab at school just working like right because i've been burning like i've used something in the past yeah he's a billy there now yeah it's actually oh no it's not all right i use something called like dry claw which um it's like an ant it's an antiperspirant and it does do that but it's like tried and tested and it does work so i was thinking are they just going and finding like zinc or something in the cupboard and then just bring on it yeah no but that was that was the fear of like getting a sweat patch was that strong you get so bullied if you yeah if you sweat oh man i think it was like it's my worst nightmare sweating it really is yeah oh fragrance i'm wearing lalabo which one another 13 it's classic you know what's really annoying though i've got beef with i think it's it's billy eilish and paul mezcal so that i've been wearing this for ages and i always had lots of compliments it's very nice yeah very nice and then i think either billy eilish or paul mezcal one of them like posted about it like this is what I wear and everyone's got it now.

11:24Hence why I gatekeep. I know, I know. See? Yeah, not quite comparable there. Yeah. But you are annoyed that everyone's got it now, right? Kind of. I mean, it still smells different on me than it would on someone else. It interacts with your pheromones. You know what I mean? Everyone loves it. It interacts with your pheromones. It's different on me than it is on you. Sorry. I don't know what that was. Is that true though? Yeah, it is. Really? Yeah, yeah. All fragrances are like that. I want to try that out. I want to experiment with the same fragrance on. I'll put some Chanel Alive on you later and you tell me.

11:56But that'll be mixing. Because I've got Osmanthus 19. Oh, an Abololabo, yeah. I've never heard of that. It's the new, it came out recently, right? About a year ago? Yeah, yeah. Oh, wow. I like your signature. That's like your signature fragrance. I love it. Yeah, you love it. You can have my bottle. I've got a bottle at home. You can have it. Really? Yeah. I was looking at it today going, bloody hell, I'm getting through this. It's literally just in the box at home. so it will say dark chocolate on there but if you don't mind that then it's all yours it makes it better okay it's all yours it's all yours nice so i'm watching a weird documentary at the moment called trust me the false prophet oh yeah i'm three out of four in so it's about to get real juicy but you've watched it as well right i finished it yeah you finished it yeah and i guess the brief synopsis is i don't actually know like what her job was before but she and her husband who's makes like music videos moved to this town in utah and it's kind of like a subsect of the mormon kind of um religion so this whole town was was run by this prophet who is now currently in jail for sex child sex abuse in the wake of him being in prison no one can have children no one can have sex yeah this whole town like it's just they're just waiting for him to come back then one guy just decides oh no his voice is coming through me now i'm the new prophet come and join me you can have kids and he basically starts slowly marrying like a whole load of women and then he starts marrying their children and starts building this cult but he is the weirdest like, soppiest, strange man.

13:42He's real? Yeah, yeah, yeah. His real lies? This guy's like an egotistical, megalomaniac, narcissist. So what? He's so messed up and he's so obsessed with himself that the camera that's what he's like, you know, he does a fucking music video. Yeah. He's so... So why is it allowed to happen? He does a music video to try and convince the Queen of England to come and visit him and become his wife. I'm nervous just listening to this. I'm like nervous listening to it. It's a lot. It's intense. Yeah. It's difficult. It's infuriating as well. So what am I loving right now? Yeah, what are you about today?

14:19Not that. That's for sure. Please something more positive. No, I am recently started trying this product from SkinCeutical. It's called CE. I'm sure I'm going to butcher it. The CE Ferulic Serum. And my skin, I don't know if you've seen how shiny my face is today, but I feel like my skin looks great. I use serum in the morning. as part of my routine. And just put a few drops on. And it's good for soothing the skin. It's like age of, anti-aging, is that the right? Or age-ifying? It's basically age-preventative. Like your wrinkles, they get really much wrinkles and your skin just is always just so smooth.

14:55That's so good. I think for me, when it comes to skincare, I like to use products that make, sometimes when I use products that absorbs in my skin and then I don't like it, I like it when it sits in your skin and just has a nice, shiny layer. That's when I feel like it works for me. So that's why I like this. You like a bit of shine. Love it. A bit of shine. A bit of glow. A little bit of glow. Smelling good, glowing good. Yeah. Glowing good. Yeah. I can't use vitamin C. It's too strong for my skin. Oh, really? I tried it once and I came out in like red patches. Wow. Because I've just got very sensitive skin.

15:28Yeah, I have as well. It's got to be nice to it. Things I'm loving. I went to a restaurant recently called Oma. Where's that? Oh, my God. That was a name drop. I was waiting for that. It might drop. Oma. It sounds, I reckon it's like Middle Eastern, not Middle Eastern, Mediterranean. It is, sort of. Greek Mediterranean. Okay, yeah. So Greek and then the kind of, I guess, what's it called? The seafood of the Mediterranean as well. So there's like, and now this is Peruvian, but they do a ceviche. They do like a crudo kind of section. Ah, nice. Where is it? It's in Borough Market. Oh, nice. It's in the, like above another restaurant.

16:05and I went there on Thursday with my new four-month-old baby. Oh, congratulations. But we had to take the pram up the stairs. It was the most stressful five minutes of my life trying to get into the restaurant. And then because it's such a busy restaurant, it's Michelin star as well. I was like, oh, I shouldn't be here. I'm ruining everyone's experience. What a bougie baby. Fucking hell. The finest milk. Yeah, Michelin star milk for the baby. That's mental. Delosford farm milk. That's what's right. but they found a nice quiet corner for us oh nice can you imagine taking that baby to like daycare it's like no no no he only eats ceviche they're like making little ham sandwiches you're like no darling I am slightly worried for him to be honest yeah he's had a bougie beginning what's he called?

16:51Casper oh that's nice we have the same birthday really? yeah no way it's a great name yeah it's nice so yeah being a Greek restaurant yeah flatbreads baba ganoush hummus were just incredible and this is going to sound weird okay but the baba ganoush tasted it was so smoky because it's like flame grilled it tasted like you were eating a fire but like in a really wholesome amount camping and everything you know they get that smell of like fire into your clothes and stuff and it just kind of reminds you of like child not childhood but just kind of good yeah yeah the smoky and it's getting that through the baba ganoush it's crazy that you can feel all that emotion from just one.

17:33Yeah. Of a fire. I would feel so much emotion eating a fire. But it's so delicious. That sounds amazing. I thought that was crazy, yeah. Actually, quickly, on restaurants, I wanted to talk about, have you been to Giuseppe's yet? You know the influencer Sepp's? No. He's got his own like restaurant in Box Park. Yeah. No, Box Park. Is it Box Park? Somewhere in Liverpool Street. It's like all these small restaurants but he's absolutely killing it have you been there yet no he just he's called he's called it giuseppe's um and it's just italian food and it's just insane he sells like every single day all the other sells out sells out yeah like he runs out of food every single day oh wow yeah mental giuseppe's yeah check that out only seven more days though why it was only there for 45 days i want to say or like 60 days then seven days left oh okay before we move on please do subscribe it's the easiest way to ensure that we're making the content that you love so give it a click cool let's move on to the fashion finds so that's stylish things that you've been loving oris star edition i went to watch some wonders last week which is like the watch switzerland yeah where they release all the new or most of the new watches for the year so it's a huge event and they're very expensive there but this one from oris was 1750 so not crazy yeah like kind of in affordability ish they passed the law to get swiss swiss watchmaking allowed this bit of technology to pass and then now it's just such a mainstay of um watchmaking so this is a really iconic watch but it just looks beautiful and it's like really vintage like black strap nice cushioned face that's a good idea yeah so that's on my list I'm going to need to look that up after this it's beautiful can you show me it I'll link you for me I am I've been obsessed with M &S's release like their new oversized t-shirt and they are the perfect fit the perfect weight the perfect shape the perfect cut everything about it good price as well I imagine £20 I bought five black five white nice £200 I need to check that out as well you should love an oversized t-shirt My affiliate link is coming along.

19:50Also a little skinny baby one. Yeah, you do. He does both. On baby ones though, Uniqlo, people are going to buy the kids t-shirts and get the biggest kids one. And it literally is like, ah. Ah, really? Yeah. I do quite like this t-shirt. You should honestly go there. It's so strange. I saw the advert. Does it show your nipples off though? Because for me, that's an absolute essential. I think it would. I think it definitely would. Yeah. Amazing. Mine are handbags. I'm loving handbags at the moment. So I've got a green one, alligator skin from New Project, Ronning black one, and a red one from Bolaire's, which my agent Holly also has, which is quite funny.

20:28She was like, wait, I've got that bag. I was like, twinning. And also every pair of Duke and Dexter shoes. I love these. These are my favorite. I wear them pretty much every day. That's solid. We love a lot of her. What do you put in your bag? Books, extra layers, portable charger, chill pill for the tube. What else do I put in it? sometimes I will just fill it for the sake of having it as a fashion accessory. So I'll be walking around like, what can I put in this? I've got like three hats and a spare boxers. I've got a mini handbag as well, which I love.

21:05All right, let's move on to the celeb and sporting moments that are going on in the world. So much sport. I love it. Arsenal suck. Arsenal. Are they going to bottle it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It feels like it. Yeah. When City gets in that mood. Yeah. There's nothing's on with them now. No. Nothing. Nothing will get in that way unless whatever's happening with them. The finances come. It's quite sad, isn't it? But I love to see it. No, it's not sad. I love to see it. You know what? It's sad for the players. Yeah. And the club. But the fans, the second they start to get any inkling of success, they lose their heads.

21:41And they come out with the craziest takes. And they get so overconfident. so purely for the fan base they need this just to ground them to lose or to win to lose to bring them back down the second they start to win I do feel sorry for the players though I feel sorry for the players yeah like you know how much it means to them and how much they've committed to it so it's kind of sad I do want them to win one thing though nah just one not at all I'm excited to watch it just play out yeah I was speaking to an American yesterday and she was there like I'm a diehard gooner I feel so bad for Michael Arteta it's just like this is like an insight to what the World Cup is going to be like yeah like Christian Ronaldo with the touchdown what a score from the team it's like ugh yeah Austin sucks I mean I'm a Leicester fan and we're also about to get double relegated which is well Tottenham are as well are you a Tottenham fan?

22:39I am not but I have enemies that support Tottenham so I'm happy so I am happy yes Enemies. Enemies. There are people that I don't like on this planet and they support. Really? I love that you've got enemies. That's like... No, I don't have enemies. There's people that I just don't like. You've got a list. Yeah, I was going to say. And a lot of them are Tottenham supporters. That's good. So I'm like happy. Yeah. A JB. See the JB? Oh, Bieber. He's back. Yeah. Obviously Weekend 2, brought Brilly Eilish up on stage. So they... Sorry, this is me being really dumb, but like, he's already played. Yeah, so Coachella is two weekends, right?

23:12So it's Weekend 1, Weekend 2. And then it's the same Line up Yeah Exactly the same Is it That people tend to do A different show On weekend too I just thought You changed outfit What Sorry You thought Wait wait Crisis off You thought People were chatting About it last week And now the chat I just thought The content's come out I was like right They're doing all this YouTube stuff now Surely you guys are joking I don't believe either of you Now the Billie Eilish One's coming out It's two weekends Two weekends Yeah we can one weekend too It's too much Well, I don't know, because you get, like, that's what happens on your phone.

23:46You just be like, oh, right, Justin Bieber's on YouTube. It was a completely different show, Weekend 2. Yeah, but it was in a different... I just thought he'd, like, changed. No, no, no. And Billy... Ah, okay. This is another reason to hate Coachella. No, because Reading and Leeds do it. Do they? Yeah, Reading and Leeds are the same, which is the opposite way around. No, but they're two different locations. No, they're two different locations. Yeah, but it's the same festival, though. Yeah, but it's one weekend. Yeah, but it's the same festival. But it's insane. It's the same music. Don't lower Leeds Festival to Coachella.

24:18Leeds is a prime institution of culture and sophistication. Right. Do not muddy it with an association to Coachella. Right. Should we talk about Live Golf quickly? Yes. I've been waiting all day. Thank finally. It's on its knees, isn't it? Yeah. Is it the end of the season? then it's then it's gone uh this is the new tournament right or there's a new league that someone made i don't can't quote on the year okay but i want to say like four or five years ago yeah oh okay fine yeah they they set up this new golf league or golf tournament to kind of rival pga okay and to give it more i guess like a modern feel like yeah a bit more kind of interactive more party kind of like bring golf into the 21st century so yeah so they said but it was funded by the saudis just an insane amount of money gone into it many many billions um but it was like it was very divisive because it was very different to the pga tour and what golf is traditionally built on and it hasn't worked out people don't care about it people aren't watching it the young people aren't watching it yeah that's what you need the golfers are going back to pga as well a lot of the big ones and i don't know golf that well but yeah i've seen full swing this is where all of my knowledge of live yeah yeah trying to remember yeah swing about four years ago um but yeah so i'm surprised they're allowed to go back because that feels like a you've you know flipped off pga and then you're just allowed back so i think they have and i think it is probably a bit difficult especially for the golfers that stayed loyal to pga because essentially these guys abandoned it got paid like hundreds of millions or billions and then have just come straight back and it's sort of like well why didn't we do that if we get to carry on but at the same time pga still needs to survive and thrive and you need the biggest stars the biggest names and the biggest golfers to not only provide the competition element but the entertainment element and i think it's one of those where the fact it hasn't worked out is good there's always going to be some kind of negative fallout in a situation like this but what's a waste of money yeah my god it's just like I think it's now proving that like you can just sink you can lose a load of money in sports you can have this incredible idea but didn't that happen before as well in football when they tried to make that super lose yeah I'm so glad that didn't happen yeah that was awful and it was added money again wasn't it then I'm not sure actually but yeah that will happen again glad that died a death yeah and they'll try and do it yeah because it's it's where the business side and the financial side overrides yeah the sporting entertainment element of it and luckily when you have such a large fan base like with football and like with golf and they react against it that will hold because if people don't watch Super League the whole thing crumbles

27:27let's move on to the hot topic so this is things that are going on in your life that you want to talk about that's interesting. I've just moved house. Nice. Congratulations. Thank you very much. It's nice. I'm really sort of fulfilling my own posh persona massively. A part of me is really enjoying it because it's so pretty. Yeah, it's nice. And the people can be a little bit stuffy. Yeah. But some of them are lovely. But the area is just so pretty. Oh, especially like spring, summer. Yeah. I used to live in in West for a year and it's beautiful like when the sun comes out yeah gorgeous and I used to live in King's Cross which I loved I lived there for six years I mean we did a whole thing on it yeah I know it was amazing I know and I do miss it it literally came out in January oh yeah you did yeah it came out in January I'm like we're going we'll book in the next one but it's so funny because like even on the way over here the guy in the taxi was there like oh King's Cross because obviously it used to be so downtrodden and he was like whoa that's rough what well yeah King's Cross before they like built it up.

28:29It had a correct station for like prostitutes and drugs. No, but it was really nice. Absolutely loved it. But it's such a switch. And so I'm just sort of, it's nice to experience a new area. I've not spent any time down there, but I'm really enjoying it. Nice. And I didn't realise how stressful and long a process moving is. Like I still don't have a sofa. I'm eating on my floor every day. Yeah. Not like the plate on the, like as in I'm sat on my floor. Yeah, yeah. Not just like chucking pasta on the floor. Did you buy or are you renting? Renting. Yeah, okay, yeah. Is it a new build or is it like a...

29:01No, it's a little muse house. Oh, beautiful. It's a little like... Beautiful. It's quite old, little cobbled streets. That's the dream. Yeah, it is the dream. Who the hell are you? Hey, you are rich. Genuinely, I'm like, who the hell am I? Yeah. Live by yourself? Yeah. One bed, two bed? One bed. Wow. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well done. Thanks, it's very nice. I just moved to you, so I know exactly the feeling that you're going through. You're down the road now, aren't you? Yeah, but mine did come furnished, though. so I get I have furniture yeah but I have nothing in my fridge or my cupboards like nothing at all I've been ordering in the fridge you can go to the supermarket I know I can go to the supermarket but it's just I live above Waitrose as well so like there's literally Waitrose is that a supermarket of choice it is not but it's literally I open my front door as in to my building and it's right there what's your supermarket of choice I am biased but I do love an M &S food like the picky bits in M &S oh fucking hell sensational mate they have this giant custard cream with chocolate on top no no no no go and try it I'll get it delivered to your house like this big it's one giant custard cream with chocolate it's unbelievable M &S it's not like a mix of a bourbon no no no no It's just chocolate on top.

30:25It's a gigantic custard cream. I need to try that. Honestly. You know what I discovered the other day? Whole Foods. What? That place. Oh, you don't have it in King's Cross though, do you? It's so dangerous. You don't have it in Leicester. I mean, it's so, I went in to get some chicken and I left and I spent like my life savings. It's so expensive. It is so expensive. But it traps you because you're like, oh, hot jalapeno honey. I need that. I really need that. Because everything's the best. Yeah. Yeah. They shot the one on Kings Road. Is there one? There used to be one, yeah. Oh, not Kings Road, sorry.

31:01By Fulham Broadway. Fulham Broadway, there used to be one. I still don't know the area. The one in Kensington is massive. Is there one in Kensington? Yeah, huge. Right opposite Uniclo. I don't know where that is. Next to Abercrombie? I don't know where that is. Equinox, Roof Gardens, next there? All right. I've been there too. I can give you a tour of your neighbourhood. Yeah, amazing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There is a video on Instagram that I've deemed the most unwatchable Instagram reel that I've ever seen. So it's your... It's two days, actually. It probably is mine. He hates all my content. Calvin doesn't like a single thing of mine.

31:35I'm going to get no engagement. Just look at him. Yeah. You know when you go on the followers and it's like, liked by you, liked by them. Yeah. His is just none. None. Yeah, yeah. None at all. I really just won't engage. He would unfollow me if he could. He's actually blocked you. Yeah. So this is... It's like an improv group in middle America and it's like a bunch of kids. I love this. The improv groups. I've not seen the kids one, I've seen the adults one. This is... World's worst superhero. I'll see you! No, I don't. Nice.

32:16With the power of intimidation! I love the sort of meek like well done man that was good but anyway Veronica is cool or so cool Veronica is so cool do you follow her? oh I love her she's amazing I've never seen her before and Kyle yes yeah yeah yeah she is one of the best she's so good her subway takes was yeah art yeah it was so good I've never seen these people Veronica is cool you should check out she actually did an SNL win to me Chalamet oh sick I think relatively recently. She's on the cast, I think. Oh, is it? The US SNL. Oh, that makes sense. But anyway, she did a parody of that video.

32:56I saw that, yeah, yeah. And I was about to show my girlfriend. I was like, no, no, no. You need to know the context. Yeah, yeah. You need to see this video. But yeah, the first time I saw that, I was like, I want to stab my eyes out. It's the worst thing I've ever seen. Have you seen the adults one? Yes. And there's like, the commenters get so engaged. And there was like, another strong show from Stripes. and then like there's one where like two new guys join and they're like you can tell stripes is threatened by the two alphas in the group who've come in with a strong debut it's about the commentary as well in the this is why we need joel golby just writing articles about all of these things i don't know joel golby is so good i was like joel golby sounds like you're coughing he's a he's a vice writer from like oh he's fine he used to do like world's london's worst property and just like he would do social commentary on just like weird leash things like this but it would be like a 7 ,000 word article just on this improv thing.

33:52Oh, I loved it. I like that. I think I'm finally maturing. Oh, go on. Right? I feel like I'm in my era where I want to wear suits all the time. Okay, I'm not wearing one now. I wore a suit. Yeah, the impulse is weak today. Yeah, today. But I wore a suit out the other day. I went to Ruth Gardens which is in your area and I fell on top of the world and obviously when I was a bit younger, I mean I'm not old now, but like when I was older, when I was younger, I used to look at people wearing suits and be like, what the hell are you doing on a night out wearing a suit? But I wore a suit out and I felt like, shit, I look fucking sick.

34:23How'd you style it? I just had rust and bromley loafers. There's like ones, and I just had a navy suit with a knitted t-shirt underneath. And then I had yellow tinted glasses. Stunning. I look sick. And obviously summer's coming and there's so much summer sport happening I just can't wait to have a suit on all summer what do you reckon suit and football shirt yeah is that a thing is that a vibe I think it could there's something I got a piece of advice from my friend Alex who's in fashion and he was like what looks really cool is three different items from three different types of suits or three different styles so if you get like jeans football top and a suit jacket for example that sounds like GFC or like three different styles of suit like waistcoat from one blazer from another yeah and it really works mate you see me this one so i think that's the look yeah i think you can rock that honestly there are so many suits i've seen recently and i hope my bank account what's like brought this on i don't know wearing the suit that day um i really felt empowered like i really felt confident and then i was looking at my diary i was thinking well i've got ascot then i've got seven weddings and then I've got, what else have I got?

35:37Well, there are other things I need to wear. There are other things I need to wear seven suits to, yeah. Everyone's getting married. So I thought, I don't like wearing the same thing so I need to think of all those different items. I saw this suit on Burberry. Oh my God. Beautiful, oversized pinstripes. I know, it's very expensive but I don't know. I do want to, but... Would you wear flip-flops with your suit? No. way on earth i want to get into the flip flops anyway i'd wear flip flops with like nice trousers and like a nice like tight cos top and it was like a suit it's being done this summer people are flirting with birkenstocks with a baggy suit oh yeah probably maybe i don't know i need to try which birkenstocks are we talking about boston's or the open-tone ones that's just the sandals the boston's i imagine just normal sandals like the clogs they do different types of Berkerstocks.

36:32Oh, not the slippers. Okay, yeah. Just a German sandal. A German sandal. A sandal, if you will. Yeah, a sandal. No. No, it might happen. Like a black tie suit with flip-flops, could you imagine? No, not that. Yes, Diana at a wedding, black tie. James Bond, black tie, and then you're just Haviano. Please, no. Maybe it's like a nice louchy linen number, like you're by the beach no occasion I'm like vehemently anti flip flop I like a flip flop I keep seeing it styled basically all the high street brands basically everything with flip flops because I'm seeing it so much I'm like is that good you know what though marketing styling is a scam because what they just do is they get a really tall ridiculously handsome person who just looks amazing in anything and then you're scrolling through online and you're like, oh wow, that shirt looks so cool.

37:35I'm going to get that. And then you try it on and you realise, actually no. I'm like Gollum compared to this person. It's not that the item's nice. It's just he's the most handsome man that's ever existed. And you just sat there in the mirror like, oh. So I think that's maybe the flip flops. We do street style. We go out and find stylish people and there is that dilemma where I'm like, is that guy well-dressed or just good-looking? Yeah, yeah, yeah. sometimes the line's quite thin. That's literally a modelling. You should let people know, you're so stylish, because you're so ugly, but you look great.

38:07Could you imagine? That's how I know.

38:15Let's finish off with some dilemmas. These have been sent in by our readers, listeners. Love these. So, number one, is it ever okay to ghost someone or do you always owe a message? I know my take. I think in-person conversation, a message at the very least, phone call, in-person conversation is the best. Even if it's going to take some time. It depends on the dynamic as well. It depends how long you've been seeing or talking or whatever. Yeah, if it's a first date. Like if you've never met them. On a first date, is it okay to just leave it if you weren't by them? No, I think you could send, you should send a message.

38:55It's not that hard. sorry not for me but people are human right don't get me wrong i used to be an avid ghost i did used to be used to be used to be but i've grown up now and i'm mature and i would hate someone to ghost me so like i feel like i need to respect that person why did you change um because i was in a relationship and then we broke up and i knew that feeling and i never i don't know I want that feeling. I want everyone else for that feeling. You've got a taste of your own medicine. Literally, yeah. You didn't like it. Didn't like it, no. Fair enough. So yeah, those ghosting days are past.

39:32So I'm now a transparant. I've been in a relationship for about 10 years. Well, I actually had an anniversary recently, 10 years. That's why I went to Oma. Congratulations. Thanks, guys. With your son, the friendly ghost. With the friendly ghost. Exactly. Oh, I love that. That's such an awful joke. But in my dating day, if someone was so awful, do you know what I mean? Just like the worst person you've met on a first date, it's almost like they deserve not to be texted and just to be let into the ether. That's the only scenario I could imagine. But then you also need to let them know that they are...

40:08No, you don't need that drama. It's just like... No, the drama. No, not even that. You just say, you're not for me. That'll kick him in the teeth. That'll feel awful. Full stop. Yeah, full stop. but you are not for me. Yeah. I actually quite like that. Yeah. Sassy. Very sassy. I mean, I've not used that just yet. I'm actually a lot more nicer than that. So as a ghoster, what would you say to this dilemma? As a ghoster? As a previous ghoster. Ex-ghost. Ex-ghost. Wait, as in now? What do I do now? Yeah, yeah. Oh, I'd message and just be like, just tell them how it is. You're not interested. They let them go on, do whatever they want to do in their life.

40:44Don't leave someone pondering because it's just not a nice feeling. never ghost never ghost unless they are like literally rude to you then you owe them nothing but yeah no then you say you're not for me full self yeah fuck you okay next one I want to become more confident doing things by myself i.e. going to the cinema to dinner have you got any tips to do that yeah I do that all the time yeah because I've got no mates no oh I'll go out with you no no I really like it please don't alright I fucking know, I should be nice. I love doing stuff by myself. I think the second you realize that no one actually cares about you, like when you first start, you're so self-conscious because you might think, oh, it's like dancing, right?

41:31People are like, oh, what are they thinking? They're thinking I'm a weird... And you realize that people are so insular. People are so focused on themselves. Everyone's having the same crisis that actually it doesn't really matter. You just go enjoy your own company and sit with yourself. Don't worry about what anyone else is thinking. and you just you really enjoy it it's really nice to spend time with yourself and your own thoughts you sort of become better acquainted with yourself and know yourself better and it gives you this quiet sort of confidence which you then carry through into social situations as well it's a really nice thing to do you know it's hard and i think some of that stuff is like rooted from like when you were younger um whereas like you'd go out with your friends and you'd see people who are by themselves and you'd all like laugh and joke about it i remember the first time i ever did that I went to Nando's first time by myself.

42:17I thought I was thinking, fuck, this is like actually quite nice to be by myself. I order for me, be my own thoughts. I had my notebook and I was writing. But definitely like growing up, you'd think like this is so, they're so weird. Like Billy Lane mates over there. But it's actually one of the best feelings in the world, doing things on your own accord and not having to like, what's the word? Yeah. Yeah. So you're writing when you're there. What do you do? Do you just kind of, It depends sometimes though sometimes I'll go in like if there's something to work on like writing wise or if there's lines to learn I'll do that like last night like I said, I still don't have a sofa and I wanted to go watch the Arsenal City game I didn't just want to stay in my bed all day So I just went to a pub that was showing the football by myself and because also it's South Kensington there is I could see there were some people like

43:09And you sort of notice it you think well what what does it really matter? happy and I'm really having a great time. It's just, yeah. I could not let the thoughts of other people, like, get into your own headspace. I would say actually one of the main things is don't hide behind your phone because it's very easy when you're by yourself to use that as a shield and to lose yourself in the digital world. Actually just sitting and doing nothing and sitting with your thoughts and maybe take a book, but just enjoying it, just taking it in because when you're by yourself, you feel like you need to be doing something.

43:44Yeah, the impulse is get out of your phone and scratch that itch, isn't it? Try to not. And it's a natural impulse that we have now, unfortunately, because it's so ingrained in our day-to-day routine. But try to push that down and just sit with yourself. That's good advice. Hold your own space. Right, last dilemma. What are your thoughts on leaving a party without saying goodbye? Is it rude or sometimes better to not disturb the host? Leave. Don't disturb me. Just go. Yeah. I'm a leaver I live with the the politeness embedded into me so I feel like I have to say goodbye but every time I don't and I just leave I feel so fucking good exactly it's so relieving do you know what you save in your life from not saying goodbye at parties yeah you what so much time you can save in your life it's also sometimes it's like yeah it does sometimes it's almost ruder to make such a big thing but you're leaving I'm going yeah yeah and interrupting the flow of everything when it's like yeah you're leaving because you're done with the evening if it's natural where you just see them and you're like i'm just gonna say thanks for having me yeah you say maybe but if they're in the middle of a conversation or there's loads going on you slip out and just say hey by the way just left like no one cares but when you make such a huge thing out of your departure it's like party's bigger than you babe i love an irish exit i love it I love it.

45:06Love it. Love it. I do. I love an Irish accent. Yeah. Just leave. Honestly, sign me up. Every single time. Wait, so what's a French accent? I think it's the same thing. Is it? Is it the same thing? Yeah, yeah. Oh, right. Right, well, that wraps it up. Yeah. Thanks so much for joining, guys. Really, really appreciate that. Thanks so much for watching, guys.
