1:05With us right now, Adele Viechka. Adele, you are the founder and creative director with Live Large Design. Your website is livelargedesign.com. Adele, it's great to have you. Thank you. Thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here. Well, before we get going and talking about your superpower, which I love, I like your philosophy here, just to tease a little bit. But in terms of like what you do, like when no one's around, like what are you into lately? Like either hobbies, movies, TV shows, music. What are you into lately? Aside from your cute little puppy who keeps making a cameo appearance.

1:44Yeah, absolutely. Well, I hang out with him a lot and actually live out of a truck camper. So this is a pretty big part of my life. And I would say, yeah, most of my like free time is outdoors. Him and I go cruise around and I built this baby. So, um, yeah, I'm always kind of working on it and like working on it. And, um, that's become more and more fun for me. So I know that sounds like really nerdy, but like, I'll go to like Home Depot and walk every aisle to figure out some little thing to add. I just got my first living plants. I'm going to try to keep it alive. Yeah. Yeah. That's pretty much my fun and anything outdoors.

2:19So hiking, skiing. Yeah. So do you have, um, content where you kind of show off all of your, um, cause there was a, I had a phase. I don't think I necessarily wanted to do it, but I was just fascinated with people who take other, you know, kind of conventional large box vehicles and they convert them into mobile living living spaces. And some of the design is just gorgeous. Totally. Yeah. Yeah. So I have another platform. This all was birthed out of necessity more than anything. So it's a whole different story, but it's called West End Normal. And that's where I'm developing my own podcast just for like interacting with people on the road because I just love the people that I meet like I had guys help me weld on some stairs on the back and they're just like the coolest guys and you want to sit down and have a beer with them so that's kind of you know my my side gig and then yeah just being a female solo traveler builder type person I think it's fun to share you know essentially I'm a lot I became a lot more capable in like the building side of it than I realized.

3:22And it's just like really empowering. So that's something I really do want to share. So I'm kind of diving a little bit more into into those pieces to more for fun than like, you know, business. Yeah, yeah. Well, and you're originally from Anchorage. And currently, we're recording this and you are where in the world? Yes, I'm in Winter Park, Colorado. So just about an hour, hour and a half west of Denver, but I prefer like kind of the mountain areas. And I'm in the truck rig. So kind of cool. I'm working off my truck Wi Fi and my little truck office scene. Very, very cool. Have you done any like video of like giving a tour?

3:56And I'm sorry, I'm completely selfish here, but have you done like a video tour of your rig? Yeah. So Western Normal is kind of, I'm like putting it together. I spent, I'm going to give you the 30 second synopsis, but last year, everyone else is like, man, just get to like our superpowers and stuff, you know, but, but I'm sorry. I'm like totally geeking out on this. Cause I, I love this topic. And again, like I said, I will watch hours and hours and hours of people kind of taking these vehicles and how they do it and like what the final product is. So I'm sorry. This is my show. That's what we're talking about.

4:30Yeah, exactly. Well, and don't be sorry. I mean, I'm a creator, right? So like when you create space and when you create your life, that's what my business is all about is creating a business to serve my life. You know, I really do think they're closely connected. But yeah, I've been doing it about four years. So last year I upgraded, bought a brand new camper and a new truck. And the builder of the camper never followed through. He's in jail now. It's like this whole story. And so I got scammed. I never got my money back. And so I ended up buying a used camper and had to renovate it. And I just was like heartbroken, you know?

5:03So now I'm like 350 hours later. It's freaking beautiful. I love it, you know? But I had to learn like all the pieces. So I put in my own 12-volt and like learning just, I mean, I hadn't understood a lot of that in my old rig, but I hadn't built it from scratch. So this one has like really impacted me and just like my passion for this lifestyle. Because now I'm like, ooh, like I'm super unstoppable because, you know, I built this thing. I love it. Adele, your website is Live Large Design. Do you mind just give us an overview of your superpowers, what you do? Yeah, sure. So, I mean, I'm an artist at the end of the day, at the beginning of the day.

5:45Went to art school for graphic design and did all the things, like kind of started my business as a freelancer, built it into an agency, had in the heyday of it, had like, you know, more of a team, project manager and all of that. And then probably the last like five or six years, I niched in e-learning. so I build like the e-learning platforms for my clients who want to scale beyond six figures without adding more hustle more grind typically they're booked out one-to-one and just kind of are hitting a wall with how to scale for more income more impact and that's something I was really excited about you and your audiences I know you guys really care about like how you serve your audiences how you're impacting the world and my clients too like everybody We're teachers.

6:29I have mystic clients working in the spiritual world. I have doctors, just really amazing clients. So I'd say one of my superpowers is definitely branding and then bringing that into these e-learning platforms in a way where we don't have to spend 10 years doing the branding piece. Let's get this stuff out there, create some functional funnels and help people scale. Yeah. And so what would be examples of the type of work that you've done? Who do you typically work with? Yeah, I actually work a lot with doctors, so a lot in the medical field, mental health. I had a professional, she works with families of autistic children.

7:10And she essentially said in her mental practice, you couldn't even get in for six months. So she wanted to create a course to help support families who have autistic children in a more obtainable way. And so her platform did really well. And then that's really close to her heart because her brother was autistic. So just like really, really cool people who like, you know, when we talk about story branding, just like juicy stories and they care about the clientele. I work a lot, I would say with the mystic side as well. So I have a client who, you know, does like breath work and somatic work with her clients and she does these retreats and then also has, you know, certain programs that she does through online courses and then kind of everything in between as well.

7:52So I have an ongoing client. He works with masculinity with men, you know, just like really interesting stuff. So I think it's really fun for me because every client brings like a different texture to what we're doing. And so are you, how much of your work is on kind of the brand and design aspect of it versus kind of the functional, okay, we're going to build this thing for you. Yeah. So I love this era of business because we have all these really cool tools now. Now, when I started, you know, 13 years ago or whatever, it was like dark nights of the soul with WordPress. And like, I am not a developer by trade.

8:29I always say I steal code. But what I have been able to put together is my natural strength of branding with really cool tech and automation. So now I feel like I'm really bringing a comprehensive package together where we're doing both. I mean, what good is beautiful branding if you're not getting it out into the world? Like, it's not helpful. It needs the tools, the accessibility, the marketing, you know, the funnel pieces. So, yeah, I build the system for them. So typically, like my leanest package, we're doing at least a lead magnet funnel into an email list into like, you know, a website structure so that they can, you know, come in and get to know that entrepreneur and then see if they want to move into their programs or get, you know, some valuable content otherwise.

9:16Hmm. Um, Del, on your front page, I really love this. You've got, it's pretty prominent here. You say the hustle era is over when you align with the right strategy, business flows naturally, sustainably, and on your terms. Do you mind talking about why you're a big advocate for that? Yeah, sure. So I've made all the mistakes, like, and it's so funny being an artist in this life because like we're kind of shit entrepreneurs. And so I really had to work hard at the business side of it. Like, I mean, I have a master's in fine art with zero business support in that program. So what I kind of did was outsourced a lot in my business career.

9:57Like, and when I say that, I mean, I would go to some guru, learn some strategy, read some book. Well, after like years in business, I'm learning that we actually can scale the best if we understand our true nature. And we do that in alignment with our goals in life, but also the way that we're built. So I'm a little bit rebellious. I will always be an artist. Like if you tell me to do something, I probably won't, you know? Like, so I have to really finesse that dynamic in the way that I grow my business because I get like defiant in my own business. It's really interesting. And I've seen it with my clients too.

10:31You can't take like the mystic client and have them try to scale in this influencer model perspective. Like we really have to align with these strategies that we use. So I've created, I call it the spirit brand archetype quiz where you can go through that. And there's seven archetypes that I've created. And even that I think is putting people in a box. But there's seven different blueprints that you can actually work on scaling your business in a way that feels more in alignment with like who you naturally are as a human and as an entrepreneur. Yeah. And so speaking of which, you've got these archetypes.

11:09You've got the healer, the mystic, the visionary, the rebel, the specialist, the steward, and I'm waiting for it to come around, the artisan. And there might be one more. I was just kind of reading as it's kind of scrolling along. I think I got them all. How does knowing your archetype, like why is that valuable to know that? Yeah, so I started my business in Alaska. A lot of outdoor companies, I have a background in environmental education. They would probably fit in the steward. they're going to scale really differently like an NGO or nonprofit or, you know, even an individual consulting in that arena is going to scale really differently than the healer or the mystic.

11:47So there's a different marketing strategy for each archetype, which I think is really fun. So it's not just a visual aesthetic. It's how do we actually find our people? For me, I love guesting on podcasts. Like I like longer form content, you know, and that's a lot related to the artist and like the way the artisan is the archetype there. And because I want the space to kind of share my thoughts on things shorter form, you know, you won't find me on TikTok dancing. There's nothing wrong with that. It's just not how I relate to people and feel about like level of connection. So I think, you know, it's something I really like about you as well.

12:23And your audience is you guys care about connecting and like true relationship. So that's, I've tried to bake into these strategies. How do we build that true relationship? You know, in this, we're in an interesting era where there is a lot of noise. There is a lot of like infiltration of the strategy. Like if I see the same sentences anymore, like I'm just starting to gag with some of the marketing stuff out there. So I'm trying to just, Oh, I'm sorry. Just starting. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. I know you're being polite. I'm sorry. Inside joke there. I'm sorry, Adele. I interrupted you. No, no, no.

12:58That's perfect. Well, I want to make sure in our last couple of minutes here, share, you know, to our friend that's listening, like, who would be the ideal person? Like, if they're listening to our conversation right now, what should they do so that they can either get more Adele in their life or, you know, maybe they should reach out and have a conversation about potentially working together? I just want to make sure we're kind of aiming for the right folks. Yeah, for sure. I mean, I'd love people to take the quiz and give me feedback. Let me know if you think, you know, if it spoke to you, if it didn't, I think that's a fun way to kind of just get introduced to like the way my brain works.

13:34And I just love the psychology of branding and marketing in a way that feels aligned. And then, yeah, you know, you can certainly follow me on Instagram and I love conversations. So on my website, I, you know, things are a little bit in flux, but by the time this comes out, it should be really clear where you can get a free assessment with me. if you feel like you're in that space where you want to scale to more revenue, more impact without adding more grind to your day. And that's where I think the tech, the automation and understanding that archetype can really come in to support you while still having like a lean business.

14:08Like I have a very small team right now and I love utilizing these other tools to help support my business. Adele Viechka, again, your website, Live Large Design, of which you are the founder and I guess, what was the term? You're like creative director. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, wonderful. Well, Adele, thank you so much for the conversation. Oh, me too. I really enjoyed it.
