0:03Jackie Oshry:Good morning, girlies. It's the toast. It's Jackson Claude and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show. The fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly. It's the toast. I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and happy Tuesday. Yeah, you're listening to the podcast of like the most interesting girl on the planet.

0:33Claudia Oshry:Claudia's in the news today. You are in the stories.

0:35Jackie Oshry:You are the stories. Do I have like a different energy? I hate this phrase, but I do feel like I have main character energy right now. Like, do you feel like everyone's talking about me? I feel like it's my birthday. The amount of people like blowing up my DMs and my texts.

0:47Claudia Oshry:I feel like I don't even know how many people are talking about you. And we'll get into it because I saw you in page six this morning. and I've been seeing you in my algorithm from accounts I don't follow talking about influencer Claudia Asher being body shamed by the new Real Housewife. Yeah. It's such drama. Okay.

1:05Jackie Oshry:I don't want to spoil it, but like I did make some news yesterday. I posted a TikTok. There was a lot of news in the Bravo universe and like it kind of had to do with me. So I spoke my truth. People were interested in my truth and hearing it. And we'll talk if you aren't on TikTok. I did post it on TikTok because I was like, you know, give me the real fans first. And so I will tell the whole story from the beginning, but I don't want to talk about that right now. I just want to say, yes, you are listening to the podcast of the girl in the news. And we will talk about the thing.

1:28Claudia Oshry:The big thing. We're not going to skirt around it. And how I'm feeling. Yeah. No, I will.

1:33Jackie Oshry:One of my high school bullies.

1:35Claudia Oshry:A 10-year-long bullying campaign. Is becoming famous. I'm really excited to talk about it. I really need to dig into this, get my teeth into it, and sort of try and wrap my head around what's going on here. Yeah, and I feel like a lot of people are going to be surprised at my take. I think we're going to wind up giving grace. No, I'm not going to give grace. You'll see. You're going to forgive her? Let's not spoil. We have so much to do today. I feel like you're going to forgive her. Sort of. You'll see. We'll see where the conversation goes. But yes, we have a lot.

2:04Jackie Oshry:And I just want to say, I'm forgiving someone who has not apologized. No, no, no. We'll talk about it. We'll talk about it. Let's talk about you. Me? How are you? I'm good. This is the most famous girl in the world.

2:15Claudia Oshry:I know. Olivia's doing major things in advertising. She actually is. And Satchel. Don't get me started on that. Don't get me started on Satchel. I actually conversed with Satchel a lot yesterday because we did Redheads. Oh, wow. We recorded Redheads. It was a great, fantastic episode. So many changes are like a brew at the Redheads. Every episode is sort of like. Rejiggering the format. Sort of like when they invented the internet and like everything was just like new and different. And there was no format. That's sort of like Redheads right now. We're changing everything up. It's a very exciting time to be a part of the community.

2:47Claudia Oshry:I agree. and how were the gals? the gals were great the book was fun lots of humor and a bomber talk Margot also shared at the end of the episode that she didn't know that she didn't know and I don't know why I expect that she would

2:59Jackie Oshry:and you know what I'm glad we clipped that moment yesterday because the comments did make me feel less alone like I like to pride myself on like being a decently smart person like I know what goes on in the world I don't like walk around with like my head always up my ass and so I did feel like a little bit of shame that I didn't know who that was but shout out to my fellow millennials excuse me you've heard of him right From you.

3:18Claudia Oshry:Like I've heard the word Unabomber. And the red light thing, right? No, what's that? I told you about this once. And we were talking about it on the episode. But it was also in the show Manhunt. Like, you know, the Unabomber is like a crazy individual. However, like there are like small. Parts of his manifesto. You know, like technology. We should be wary of it. Right, right, right. Doesn't mean we should kill people. But like, you know, limit your screen time. Of course, of course.

3:44Jackie Oshry:I want to say like Jonathan Haidt is kind of the Unabomber of our time.

3:47Claudia Oshry:Well, that's what I said in the show. I was like, that's like a nice medium of like, you know.

3:53Jackie Oshry:Well, no, you can have like radical thoughts on anything. You just can't kill people who disagree with you.

3:56Claudia Oshry:But also it's like, you can't stop progress. You can't stop technology. You're supposed to live in the stone age forever. No, that's not good. But parameters. What's red light? Boundaries. Okay. So in the show, like one of his things, it's like when you're at a red light and there's no cars. Yes. Oh my God. I love this. Either which way. No, don't. I feel bad loving it because it's like a Unabomber theory. But like when there's no cars coming any which way and it's like you don't go because there's a red light telling you not to go. And like you could just go. Yeah, but that's what separates like man from monster.

4:29Claudia Oshry:Yeah. And that's what's like being a civilian in a civic society. That's always what I think when I'm driving.

4:34Jackie Oshry:Even when I'm not driving my best. It's like I know that the other people around me also don't want to get in an accident. So even if I'm wrong, like they're going to get out of my way.

4:41Claudia Oshry:No, but that's not what this is. this is like there's no reason why you can't go other than just like a red light telling you the law but in this moment like you could technically go i mean i would never and i don't but when i'm like there and i'm like i could go but i'm not because of this like red light what does that have to do with the unabomber that was like something that he was like saying in the show you know why are you staying at the red light when you can just go like he's anti-government anti-law got it got it got it got it and actually in the show the guy who is investigating who plays a unabomber in the show oh someone like that we know like someone famous he looked more like him hold on unabomber manhunt unabomber cameron grant no so i don't think we know him okay oh richard jewell remember him no yes you do i'm on imdb

5:34Jackie Oshry:give me a second.

5:37Claudia Oshry:Paul Bettany. Oh my God, I forgot about Richard Jewell. I'm just, I've been transported. Who's Richard Jewell? Show me. Claudia, remember that with the, um, Chris Noth is in Manhunt. There's a couple different iterations of Manhunt. Claudia, remember the movie Richard Jewell? No. Yes,

5:54Jackie Oshry:you do. It may be, I think if you think that if you keep saying it, I'll remember, but I don't.

5:59Claudia Oshry:You will, Claudia. Can you show me? Yes, yes. remember he got like of course richard jewel what was the story again they thought that he planted the bomb at the olympics in in georgia and he was just a guy and it wasn't him yeah and his whole life was turned upside down richard jewel fucking those are the kinds of kind of

6:23Jackie Oshry:stories like i love not obviously that that happened to him but like these random niche

6:27Claudia Oshry:yeah oh my god so yeah richard jewel is like associated with the you're a bomber as in just Just like crazy times. Yeah. Anyways. The redheads are doing well. The redheads are doing well. Oh, but just to finish my thought, in the show, the guy who's like investigating the manhunt, the Unabomber, like sort of starts to like take on his beliefs a little bit. And by the end, like he's living out in the woods. And that's just like Hollywood. Like.

6:51Jackie Oshry:Because that definitely didn't happen. Muronic. Yeah, that's moronic. Yeah. Muronic. Yeah. I watched Real Housewives of the... Oh, I did something crazy last night. Crack? Crazier. Mad? I caught up on The Real Hot Sites of Beverly Hills, and then I watched Watch What Happens Live, which was such a lackluster episode with Amanda Francis, which was crazy, because she actually wasn't in this week's episode of - They obviously just didn't program that. Yeah, and then GoldenEssa, because it was the finale of Shaz, and the two of them are so polar opposite. And even though Amanda wasn't on the episode of Beverly Hills, it was her first time on Watch What Happens Live, and she's kind of this interesting character, so there was a lot of attention being paid to, and I feel like Gigi was hating that, She kept like talking about Amanda's questions.

7:34Jackie Oshry:But I will say it was kind of a good showing for Amanda Francis. Like she's still like nutty and whatever, but she dressed very head on, like that people say her business is a scam. And like all the things we kind of think about her and like how she walks into the room purse first. You know, I have sunscreen in my Chanel backpack. Oh, I have that bag. And she was like, I'm sorry. I thought that's what we were doing. Like this is a show about affluent women. And like these women do it all the time. Like every time they're on TV, it's like they show how much their purse costs. So I don't know. It was kind of a good showing for her.

7:57Jackie Oshry:They're more subtle about it, though. Of course. She's just like tacky by nature. it was just like a weird episode of Watched Rapids Live but I kind of liked it oh and then my favorites were bartending it was such a crazy episode who was that guy? a twink and a redhead

8:11Claudia Oshry:you know their song? no the redheaded girl I saw his Instagram post he said that he accidentally like insulted Amanda did he? yeah they didn't even talk like Andy never gives the bartenders a minute to speak but he gave them a particularly small amount I didn't realize this happened last night and I saw it this morning he but this wasn't

8:31Jackie Oshry:from last night this was from last week

8:32Claudia Oshry:okay so from last week when Andy threw to the bartenders they were like what do you think about Amanda and the redheads like love you whatever and he's like I've been seeing all the comments but I think you're great and he like came on and she was insulted she like turned around he was like I didn't need to clock her like that I don't even know her

8:46Jackie Oshry:no and it's crazy because they got three seconds of air time and like he's like I'm so sorry like no funny and I really like that they make like funny you know TikTok content I feel like I've sent it to you before so yeah watch watch times live i feel like that was really crazy of me ben was out so i had nothing to do i

9:01Claudia Oshry:always like to watch watch what happens live it's a little more subject material on the subject yes exactly contextualizing the context yeah uh secondary and tertiary sources yes and i prefer primary sources obviously in the mla format yes of course and did you give me do you write your

9:14Jackie Oshry:bibliography today or are you gonna give it to me tomorrow it's pending i am so glad i never have to write another fucking bibliography like those were some of the like the lowest points of my

9:23Claudia Oshry:entire life is like an extra page like maybe we can make it go longer no but like they knew in hindsight like why was it so hard there's a format you get your book you put in the format i know i

9:34Jackie Oshry:would be struggling because i feel like the bibliography like you because i was never one who like wrote amazing essays i feel like if you looked at my bibliography like you could it was kind of like a window into like how little i cared like and how bad the essay truly was like you can hide but like the bibliography shows facts i understood but you should need to just

9:51Claudia Oshry:like get a random text take one piece of information and cite it and like for a couple of random texts and even though you got your whole paper from like one book of course you have a bunch

10:02Jackie Oshry:of random texts and I just don't feel like getting so lost in the minutiae of like the MLA formatted bibliography really prepared me for life in any meaningful way what about JSTOR remind me like

10:15Claudia Oshry:where you would go and read like pdfs like j store do you remember yeah s-t-o-r and yeah and

Read the full transcript

10:22Jackie Oshry:you would just read like somebody's work like i said some of the worst fucking times of my life like lowest points of my life was like midnight the night before a paper was due like just getting the bibliography together oh i have chills just thinking about it the reading is on j store good luck with that i don't even think i had an account you know like i was not participating in the readings what does j store stand for just seriously kill me now like i don't know i just feel like i'm doing really well in life for like never having done a proper bibliography like i was

10:53Claudia Oshry:always losing points on the bibliography you know yeah i feel like the bibliography wasn't my favorite but it wasn't my least favorite well the bibliography like when you got to that point like it was the beginning of the end yeah and it's like okay i just have to plug in names and numbers like i don't have to think but i was somehow always doing it wrong yeah yeah well Well, now I'm sure you can just like do like chat. Plug in my bibliography.com. No, chat probably has its own format that would keep you away in two seconds. Oh, it's in person. Yeah. Like I said, sometimes when I'm like, I can't sleep or whatever, I do think about like the

11:27Jackie Oshry:fact that I'm so grateful I never have to go to school again. Like school was really just like the worst. Like homework papers. But then you go to sleep and you're back at school.

11:34Claudia Oshry:I know. I have so many dreams that I forgot that I didn't take four classes this semester. Yeah.

11:40Jackie Oshry:Yeah, my dream is that like I signed up for a class in college and like I went to the first couple of. Yeah, I went to the first couple of sessions and then like I forgot all about it. No, I don't remember if I dropped it, if I stayed in.

11:55Claudia Oshry:Did I ever graduate because of that one class? No, and I never went back. Some of it, it's like I dropped it, but I never picked up another class. So I will be one credit short. And some of it is I never went to class ever again. did I do they even count me anymore because of my did I submit any and how am I ever gonna pass the final 1 ,000 do I even have to take the final those are the fucking worst and it's like did I ever even have to do that that that's in my subconscious where I had like drop a class you mean yeah like no no and then watching tell me lies like didn't help it just like brought all those feelings back I was having the dreams a lot yeah no but that's recurring but for everyone too and I don't know what you know that's like a universal I wonder like if you didn't go to

12:35Jackie Oshry:college do you have that dream you have it about high school or like whatever your most recent schooling system was you think i don't know sound off in the comments like a reason to not go to college just to save yourself the trouble yeah sound off in the comments if you didn't go to college what are your nightmares about yeah love that um we have two toasters today we have like stories about turd self so i'm ready to dive in if you are i'm ready without further ado to do it

We have some very exciting news on Roback's behalf. If you are a regular listener, you know that we talk all the time about Roback because we really love their stuff.

14:35Jackie Oshry:And if you're into the Princess Diana aesthetic of like mock necks, biker shorts, just like very 90s glam, very, honestly, Carolyn Bissette. This is exactly what Roback is serving in their new drops. So their mock neck is back in stock. Mock necks are having a really big moment right now, and Roback's is one of the most popular ones. Like all the cool girls on TikTok are wearing them. It's very cute embroidery on it. It comes in navy and ivory. The last time they dropped this mock neck, it sold out in under a week. So if you've been waiting for it to come back or you couldn't get one last time for whatever reason, now is the time.

15:01Jackie Oshry:Roback also just launched biker short sets for the very first time. So they come in classic staples like blue and navy plus a new, very pretty colorway. It's a blue called Bunker Blue. Their sets are very comfortable, very flattering. And then you throw a mock neck right on top and you're very chic, very sporty princess, very Princess Diana. And we've been partners of Roback for a long time. We're big fans and they always give a really generous discount. So if you've been wanting to get something, use our code toast at Robac.com. Thank you, Robac, for your longstanding partnership and your commitment to making pargy wears that are both comfortable. Oh, and check out the men's stuff. Really cute, especially like for a man who like you don't want them to look like a slob when they're wearing sweatpants. Today's episode, excuse me, I got emotional. Today's episode is brought to you by Clear Stem, a pargelicious skincare company. And we are really excited to talk about their newest launch, which is the Glass Effect Instant Hydrating Face and Neck Mask.

16:03Jackie Oshry:So I'm a neck girl. Like, I'm always worried about my neck. I have, like, fine lines in my neck. I spend a lot of time on my phone. If you work at a desk, you might have a thing called tech neck. So we should all be in this day and age, like, as women of a certain age and as women in the digital landscape, we should be taking care of our neck. And so, like, neck creams, neck masks. I love this Clear Stem product. It's a new sheet mask. It supports your face, but also your neck. This mask creates a perfect canvas by smoothing the skin, fixing texture. It's very smoothing. So it's ideal if you have irritated skin from breakouts or harsh treatments.

16:32Jackie Oshry:We should just all be taking care of our necks. I feel like neck is a very forgotten about area when it comes to skin care. And I think a lot of people have a lot of dirt, makeup that they leave on their neck throughout the night and day. And so just taking care of your neck is really important. And ClearSem is a great brand. It's the first acne brand that connects internal and external skincare through supplements, topicals, no pore clogging ingredients. Most anti-aging products will break you out. Most anti-acne products age you. But now there's Clear Stem. They target breakouts inside and out with a full routine, nutrition, supplements, and clinically effective topicals.

17:32Claudia Oshry:You're welcome. Our first story, new Roni cast members have been revealed. Part one of first story. So Real Houses of New York and Bravo announced yesterday the new cast members for the new season of Real Housewives of New York. Some familiar names, including Aaron Leachie, Jessel Tank. And Cy. We know Jessel very well here. Of course. I'm sitting next to her. Jessel. And Cy Da Silva.

17:55Jackie Oshry:So it seems like everyone else from previous casts has been, Uba's gone, Jenna Lyons is gone. I forget who, I don't even know. Oh, Rebecca Minkoff. Okay. So it's just these three girls

18:05Claudia Oshry:from the original reboot cast. Okay, and then they've added Erica Hammond, who is a celebrity fitness trainer and friend of Claudia's. She's a great casting.

18:15Jackie Oshry:She's very pretty. She's very wealthy, her husband. Oh, they're one of our sponsors, Built. Built Rewards. It's like the rewards company that gives you points for paying rent. He started that company. Actually, he's one of Ben's really good friends. They're like a very interesting couple. They're like very well-traveled. They're very, very wealthy. And she has like such an interesting background. She's one of the co-founders of Rumble, like the popular boxing. And she used to be in the WWE. So like that's the type of gal we want to see. Like it's literally a perfect casting. And I knew she was going to be on the show.

18:41Jackie Oshry:I found out a couple of months ago. and I thought you know what hope reigns eternal like oh you knew that I did know that and I thought it was really a perfect I didn't know that was happening when they when we talk about Real Housewives of New York we're always talking about affluent women interesting women and I thought great maybe her and some of her like wealthy friends will be and it seems like they got it right with Erica and I genuinely don't know where they went with the rest of them so then the

19:03Claudia Oshry:other lady is Daisy Toy who's a celebrity makeup artist I think she does Martha Stewart and then And Haley Glassman, who is a public relations professional.

19:13Jackie Oshry:And I think her claim to fame is that she used to date John Gosselin. Oh, yeah. Ex-wife, I think. Oh, really? I don't know. I thought I saw ex-wife. I thought it was girlfriend. Whatever. Ex-girlfriend. I was so confused. I feel like the Roni reboot really got it wrong. Like, from the start. And they kind of refused to acknowledge that. So I think people have been saying for years, like, please boil down the original cast to jessel erin and si like those were the three who were most liked um and so they finally like listened to the fans a little bit i don't know why they had to like go so random and also like so all over the place right because like i said erica's the perfect person for this why is she on the same show as john goslin's ex-girlfriend like yeah i'm so confused like i'm so confused but then like obviously to make everything about myself I had known Erica and then I was curious I didn't know the other two people and so I was like doing a deep dive and when I saw I literally saw it on Dumois before they announced it it said Haley Glassman and I was like that name sounds so familiar like I saw it it didn't sound familiar it looked familiar like I'd seen that name before I was like who the fuck why do I know this name went to her Instagram and I was like oh wait I think I know so I went to our messages and I was like yes you know we have people who like troll us professionally and like we know their names that girl Megan like

20:35Claudia Oshry:yeah and there's not that many that I book. Yeah. There are a couple names that I'm like, this one's trouble.

20:41Jackie Oshry:Yes. And I was like, oh my God, yes. I scroll up. We must have like, well, not we. She has messaged me probably like 50 times since 2017. And the crazy thing is I noticed she unfollowed me before I made my TikTok or anything. So like she. She's done with you. She's done with me. She's been a long time fan. And she's always like trolling me. She's making, mostly about my weight. She's clearly like one of these like just weight obsessed people. She was always commenting on my weight. I think her family owns a plastic surgery company. Yeah, they must because she was hashtagging glassmanplasticsurgery in the DMs to you.

21:16Jackie Oshry:She was sending me messages being like, wow, you've lost a lot of weight. When you need a neck lift, I'll find the right doctor for you. I'm like, oh my God, okay. She was calling Ben Fat. Her DMs to me over the course. And some of them are also really nice being like, so happy for you when I got pregnant. Which is true like crazy fan troll behavior. Like your biggest trolls are your biggest fans and your biggest haters. So like that's always like a trope. But like when you respond to like a hater who's like calling you ugly, you were like, excuse me. And they're like, oh my God, I'm so sorry.

21:39Jackie Oshry:I love you so much. It's like a real mental disease where like you're obsessed with this person in both positive and negative extreme ways. So I was like, how is this person a real housewife? Like you've been trolling me for almost 10 years, but I don't even know what to call it. Like because is she a fan or is she a hater? Like I couldn't put it together. She's like a bit of both, like really a bit of both. And it was reminding me of Monica from Salt Lake City. like a crazy internet troll becoming a housewife. Yeah. And I was so honestly obsessed. So I'm not going to lie. Like not this like being about me having to do with you.

22:17Jackie Oshry:Of course I made a tick tock about it. I wasn't sure if people were going to care like at all. And the tick tock blew up. It's everywhere.

22:21Claudia Oshry:I just think that's really crazy because for a real housewife, like you expect that it's like a dignified individual who's hopefully too busy to even be engaging in a behavior like this. That's not what we expect from real housewives. Of course. It's supposed to be. We always say it's like a very.

22:39Jackie Oshry:Why can I never remember this word? Aspirational. Thank you. It's supposed to be an aspirational show about women who are successful, women who are wealthy, women who are fabulous and women who we would like to be. Now, obviously, the show has taken a turn in recent years where it's very just like reality TV. So I feel a little conflicted because while like, you know, this is not the Real Housewives I grew up with. In this day and age, like the crazier you are, the better TV you make. and like a really crazy deranged person is what it takes to like be a professional troll for almost a decade

23:08Claudia Oshry:that I kind of feel like she's going to be amazing on the show. Maybe, because like those DMs were like wild. They speak to like some sort of wacky personality that might make for good TV. And when we think about like the greats in terms of like the last, you know, amazing season, like we think of like the Ashley Jacobs, like that was crazy times. Like you think of like the truly crazy people. I don't consider Ashley Jacobs one of the greats. I think - No, but that was such a fun time. I don't know it was really dark it was dark actually you're right it was really dark I don't

23:36Jackie Oshry:know I just think like in order to be like a successful reality tv villain you have to be like a legitimate crazy person and I think they might have found one in her yeah so people are

23:45Claudia Oshry:like leaving my comments who are willing to just like not look so amazing all the time people who have nothing to lose yeah and but but not that they're putting it on like oh I don't care how I look I'm gonna be the villain it's like they seriously can't help themselves correct like very

23:58Jackie Oshry:tom sandoval very narcissistic so a lot of my um almost all my comments are like flooded like probably fire her i just want to say i do not want her to be fired like this franchise is so random and weird like sure throw in a crazy person like maybe that's just the thing they've been missing maybe everyone maybe everyone they've cast have been like a little too sound of mind

24:17Claudia Oshry:yeah and then safe and nobody wants to like ruin their lives so i wasn't making the tiktok like

24:21Jackie Oshry:calling for her to be fired i just want to say like please don't fire her like she's sounds kind of interesting like sounds perfect yeah because like it's not like it's this perfect cast already like i don't know what's going on with the franchise and why they kind of refuse to call it but sure let's throw a crazy person in there yeah i agree i don't think she needs to be fired no

24:40Claudia Oshry:don't fire her i wonder if she'll reach out to you oh sorry she blocked me she blocked the toast she blocked my like personal instagram club with her again i mean i understand imagine she's having like a big day yesterday and like but the thing is like she's she's just she just owned it you just like told everyone who she is like it's not even like she did something that like once that was like oh yeah no and i just want to say like i forgive you even though you haven't apologized

25:07Jackie Oshry:like you understand yeah no no i wasn't um i actually really do not want her to be fired i don't think she's going to be but i don't want her to be yeah no no and now because like now i'm honestly intrigued yeah oh wait and the other part of this story is that carol radswell So they announced Carol coming back as a friend of Roni Legacy before they announced the cast. So it's like, oh, one of the new girls must be a friend of Carol.

25:28Claudia Oshry:No. What the hell is she doing on the show? I don't know. And I heard that she like sued Ryan Murphy into not using her name in Love Story. That's why she's not in it at all. Oh, interesting. Although I will say Ryan Murphy doesn't give a fuck.

25:43Jackie Oshry:Did you see what he said about Jack Schlossberg? No. Jack Schlossberg is like, you know, doing like press. Jack Schlossberg is talking shit about the show. Well, so it pre it's Jack Shostberg just did a big interview, which is why this is coming back. But when the show was announced and those paparazzi pictures got leaked, he was like, this is my family, real people. And Ryan Murphy was asked about it on a podcast and he was like, I don't really care what this person thinks. Like he never even met John F. Kennedy Jr. And now, yes, Jack Shostberg was really young. It's kind of a crazy fucking thing for Ryan to say.

26:12Jackie Oshry:But Ryan doesn't give a fuck. That's what I mean. So I doubt he could be intimidated by Carol Radswell. Like just saying. Yeah. If he wasn't intimidated by an actual Kennedy.

26:21Claudia Oshry:I don't think people are intimidated by Jack. I think that's like an easy one to go after.

26:25Jackie Oshry:Yes. I just want to say like Jack Schlossberg is pissing me off because like he's doing all this press about how bad the Kennedy show is and it's mean and yada yada. And it's like, sure, well, maybe Ryan Murphy like could have spoken to more Kennedys about it, like involve them more. But he's really like riding the coattails of this Kennedy resurgence. Like he has this like campaign for Congress. and he's like living it up, dressing like JFK, doing events like JFK Jr. And the only reason people care again is because of this show. So like you're knocking it so much when you're benefiting so greatly from it.

26:56Jackie Oshry:Like why don't you just like quiet?

26:59Claudia Oshry:Yeah, I'm not paying that much attention, but I do feel like, and I have to watch more episodes, but I don't know. I do feel like they don't know the first thing about those two. I agree. Because I'm sorry, like the more I think about the fight in the park, you're well into your 30s. You've been a public figure your entire life and you're fighting with your girlfriend, the love of your life physically in the park. Yeah. That's like a crazy person.

27:22Jackie Oshry:Yeah. And that's what I feel like Carolyn specifically was so private. Like there's only like two on record interviews and they're 30 seconds long. She's just like being paparazzi. Nobody really knows her personality. So we're just sort of making it up as we go. There's like a couple of biographies written about her and they all say conflicting things, mind you. So like nobody knows her. And the version of JFK that we know is like the presidential polished press version. And that's not who he really was. So we're just sort of guessing and like fictionalizing.

27:49Claudia Oshry:Which, okay, sure. But I do feel like this will be the record. What's on record about who they were. And if we don't know, it's kind of crazy to just put that out there and say this is who they were. It's kind of like how the crown represents the royal family. And I feel like they did a pretty good job. But that's how we think of them.

28:10Jackie Oshry:There's so much source material on the royals. There's nothing.

28:12Claudia Oshry:No, and so I think they did a pretty good job portraying everyone, given, like, you know, they are an enigma. But here it's like, I don't know. I'm not saying you shouldn't have made the show, but. No, and back to Carol.

28:25Jackie Oshry:Like, what is she doing on this show? Oh, I don't know. As far as I know, she's not really friendly with any of the women.

28:29Claudia Oshry:She'll be on Rony New, but she won't be on Love Story.

28:34Jackie Oshry:And I was shook at the comments. People really hate Carol. They call her Carol. Carol Epstein. Oh, oh, so yeah. Yeah, she's like a... Galane's BFF. Yeah, so it's... Not only does her casting make no sense, it's sort of like a controversial thing for them to have done. For what? Like, for what purpose? Yeah, wait. It doesn't even make sense. I forgot about that as well. She's very heavily... Like, there's a lot of... She's heavily mentioned in Epstein files. In regards to Galane. Yeah. Like, Galane is her girl. There's a lot of emails of her and Galane being like, I love you so much. Like, that's your girl.

29:06Jackie Oshry:No, that's crazy. Yeah, it's a really crazy casting.

29:09Claudia Oshry:I would hope that I had a best friend and they were like involved in human trafficking that I could sniff that out. So Carol's a really crazy casting given that and given the fact that she has no known ties to this cast. Yeah. No, it's really. But forget known ties. Like she's downtown and like she could throw herself in the mix, whatever. And I'm sure she's glad it's not like Bethany and the ladies who like don't like her anymore. Epstein. I'm sorry. It's really crazy. We just missed the whole point.

29:34Jackie Oshry:Yeah. So this was such a weird announcement. I don't know. I don't watch Rony Legacy, so I don't feel like I have like a leg to stand on in terms of how the cast. So if you are like if you watch a show, like, what do you think?

29:44Claudia Oshry:Right. I don't feel like I. I don't know what's right for the show. Newbies. Like, I don't know what's right for the show either. I can't help you guys. You can't help yourselves. Yeah. Everyone's like, bring Jenna Lyons back. I don't know. This is where I leave you again. You know, yeah.

29:58Jackie Oshry:And it feels like in the last two, three years, they've been obsessed with getting people with names. Right. Like Jenna Lyons, who contributed nothing but was a name. Rebecca Minkoff contributed nothing but a big name. so now they're going like maybe like the opposite like names that you don't know sort of like John Gosselin's ex-girlfriend yeah we're crazy because Rebecca Minkoff doesn't want

30:14Claudia Oshry:to tarnish her brand right as she shouldn't even though I want to say Rachel Zoe is proving like

30:19Jackie Oshry:you can be a big wig a big name and contribute to a show in a really meaningful way yeah but

30:24Claudia Oshry:you have to be it's it's a hard line to walk yeah agreed um and are you gonna be on the show now with no drama no I'm not um I what if they called you in and said we want like we heard you

30:40Jackie Oshry:and we want you on the show an idea was floated to me about like a dinner and I said no like I first of all all I do is sit on this podcast talk about how bad the show is and then I'm like yeah

30:49Claudia Oshry:I really have no desire to be on like a Bravo show so um okay what if okay what if they seriously not just a dinner what they said to you like full cast member no oh my god that's worse

31:02Jackie Oshry:No, I really don't. I really don't want to be. Okay. Like, I think whenever I read the comments of like a Bravo Leberties Instagram, I'm like, oh my God. Yeah, you don't want to put yourself in that world. There's very high highs when it comes to being a Bravo Leberties. But like, seriously, it's a very impassioned fan base. And like that comes with both positives and negatives. And I seriously want a part of it. I'm really happy on my corner of the internet.

31:22Claudia Oshry:Also, I imagine you would not ever do reality TV. But if you were to, it certainly wouldn't be Roni.

31:29Jackie Oshry:No. And if it was going to be Roni, like, I'd have to move to Beverly Hills. You know what I mean? Like, of all the franchises, it's not going to be New York. What do they call that one? Reboot? Legacy? I keep calling it Legacy, but that's the old one. Yeah, everything's OG Legacy. What's the new one? Roni. Roni Reboot. Okay. So, yeah, it wouldn't be that.

31:50Claudia Oshry:Nana. Okay. Well, the games begin. This is all good for Roni Reboot. It is. Our next story. Story. Alex Earl is sobbing over Taylor Swift song after seeing Braxton for the first time since their breakup. So Alex posted a TikTok of herself sobbing in reaction to a fan's comment about her video last week in which she spoke about seeing Braxton for the first time since their breakup last year. In the original video, she admitted it was really hard and really weird to see him again. She said it was really emotional the first night we were like in the same place, but we didn't say hi to each other just because I didn't want to like go up and annoy him.

32:23Claudia Oshry:I don't know. She said they eventually briefly greeted one another on the second night of the event. it's weird when you go from someone being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room so that was tough and by tough I mean terrible yeah I just want to say um this is gonna be like

32:37Jackie Oshry:an annoying thing to say but I've never like experienced a breakup like it's so crazy like especially like if you're in like the same friend group like this is a person who like was you like your best you're like your husband like you live together like told everything to

32:50Claudia Oshry:like couldn't have a thought without sharing it with them and now they are a stranger that's really crazy it is really crazy i appreciate her sharing this and like what if you just got back together right it seems like she didn't just like dump him for greener pastures right or if she did she might be like regretting it i don't think she did i wonder what happened i also you know what i watched a little bit of yesterday very very young and on trend of me oh my god what her youtube yeah it's good the new hot mess what's it called get ready with me get on oh oh you mean her like podcast show podcast show which one did you watch saucy yeah and she was saying that she had a really a cute conversation because she was saying that, you know, she was admiring Stassi's brown hair and how she's like thought of, you know, eventually going on that journey for herself.

33:31Claudia Oshry:And Stassi was like, you should. And she was like, I can't right now because I'm seeing my ex next week. And so if it doesn't look good, like I don't want to see him like that. That's so funny. But maybe now that she's done seeing him, she'll dye her hair.

33:41Jackie Oshry:I talked about this with Danielle Carolan when she was on the podcast because she shared that she's not a natural blonde. And I was shocked to hear that. There is a pipeline of like successful women who have been like blonde most of their life realizing like that they were always meant to be their natural hair color, which is brown. I feel like Stassi's having that journey right now. I think a great example of it is Danielle Bernstein, who was like bleach blonde for many years. And now we look back, we're like, what the hell was she thinking? Like her hair is so meant to be the color that it is now.

34:06Jackie Oshry:And I wonder if that'll happen with Alex Earl.

34:07Claudia Oshry:It's one of my favorite arcs. It happened with Sally Carson on Southern Charm. Beautiful. She was blonde and then she discovered she's a winter. Yeah. And she looks amazing. I think people, and then we did FaceApp on Danielle Caroline and we made her brunette and actually I don't think she should go brunette no I like her as a blonde but then if she went brunette I'd also say this is great but I also think like you can be blonde for a time and then go back to your roots like I think Stassi being a blonde in the early days of Anna Prump

34:32Jackie Oshry:Rules like was necessary necessary yeah and when you are like really young like the phrase blondes have more fun I don't think it's that I think it's that like you are special like you're the blonde girl you're the girl who took a chance you know yeah who put herself out there creatively yeah

34:48Claudia Oshry:so maybe that's next for Alex I could actually see that but also like get back together with Braxton if it hurts so bad I know like what like I don't know what the proper timeline is for

34:58Jackie Oshry:a breakup but if because it was New Year's right and it's almost three months later like I guess it was the first time that she saw him like maybe this is normal but like maybe just

35:06Claudia Oshry:like get back together but then someone commented saying you just described the lyrics of New Year's Day by Taylor Swift and then she posted a video responding to that saying of her sobbing yeah saying Alex hasn't been posting as much probably because this is me spiraling every night

35:22Jackie Oshry:I also feel like Alex um just in regards to her posting um because I saw like a TikTok she made like a week ago being like I haven't posted in so long she was like doing her makeup I feel like she's doing the reality show she's doing her podcast and like when you have so much content like different places I feel like it's like well what do I post in she doesn't right and she doesn't want to like spoil something on the show by posting it on TikTok and I feel like she's kind

35:45Claudia Oshry:of in a tough spot with like what to post yeah but i also really and it used to be get ready with me but now everywhere she goes she gets glam like i commend her for sharing that she's like sad about braxton because i just like would have assumed that when you're a celebrity like you don't like talk about your feelings because the other person's gonna see it you know like you're just talking to your girl you have to like be cool yeah and she's not being cool but i think that's like another reason why people love her i did not expect her to like be crying on the internet about Braxton because we all know it's about Braxton I hope Braxton like saw and texted her and get back together maybe he needs to propose I shouldn't say like you know I've I haven't been rooting for them

36:21Jackie Oshry:but like this made me like really sad and I kind of think they should get back together I think so too she was so happy what could have went wrong I don't know I do feel like she thought maybe this relationship was holding her back like from something I think that would be very and then it was just becoming a lot of work with him being in Houston like it wasn't worth it anymore.

36:41Claudia Oshry:Love is always worth it.

36:43Jackie Oshry:Well, that's a lesson. Maybe she's learning the hard way.

36:45Claudia Oshry:Okay. Well, I'm holding out hope for that. Me too. Are you ready for our next story? Another memoir forthcoming. It wasn't a big announcement. It was actually announced in a different sort of way. Dax Shepard shared on his podcast that he is writing his memoir, which will cover his child sexual abuse. He's also sober, right? Is he? Yeah. Yeah, so he has a story to tell. He has a crazy story. He had Marcus Mumford on his podcast and Marcus was talking about his child's sexual abuse and that's also referenced in his song Cannibal. And then Dax revealed that he has been documenting his own story in a forthcoming memoir.

37:22Claudia Oshry:He said, I want to bond with you on this experience, which is I have for years on here been acknowledging that I had been molested and that was its own hurdle to just say that. And I got quite comfortable being able to say that. That was fine. now I'm writing a memoir and last year really the whole year was about do I have the balls to write down the details of this because the details were always going to be mine I didn't want anyone to be envisioning me it's weird that right that was still some wall between my shame oh well first of

37:49Jackie Oshry:all it's like a soft launch like we didn't get a cover and title or anything but what do you think

37:52Claudia Oshry:I think the title should be armchair expert oh like in the armchair like something about how he's now telling his story where he usually has people in his chair like yeah but also it's like how he became the arm like he is the armchair expert like how yours is girl with no job before

38:08Jackie Oshry:the chair like no no just no i think he needs to reference the chair but i don't think he should have it be the same name as his podcast especially because like we're assuming an armchair expert someone else's story like now it's his so it's like in my own armchair in the okay in the arms of a chair i like that but like how yours is girl with no job because that's your pronoun online yeah yeah yeah yeah that's my pronoun girl slash with no job I like that his is arm slash chair yeah that's a good title no I think I think the arm chair has to be in there I do I need to say something okay so I've been getting tagged a lot I think with like the resurgence of Reza Farhan being on tv again a lot of people are tagging me in his memoirs being like oh my god Claudia he named his book memoirs of a gay shot because he's Persian and he's gay um being like that's your dream because we're always saying the perfect title is memoirs of a gay shot um that's where like the whole joke started from like with us like I knew he teased his memoirs like 10 years ago I don't know if it came out already or he did oh so he's just like

39:14Claudia Oshry:continually promoting it yeah no people know because people think it's like a new book yeah and they just comment do you guys know Reza's memoirs we know that's where like the whole thing comes from. And it's very exciting for us. One person who did what they needed to do. Yeah, and so he inspired our... We didn't inspire him. I think, but also we were both inspired by memoirs of a geisha. But of course, an inspirational tale. I need to read it. I need to see it. I feel like I would love it. I think you would too. I think it's like world renowned. Yeah, everyone loves it, but I also think I would like it.

39:45Claudia Oshry:Everyone loves it! Everybody loves us! They do. So excited for Dax's memoirs. I feel like

39:52Jackie Oshry:it'll be strong memoirs yeah i mean between his celebrity marriage he's on like one of the most i hated it but one of the most acclaimed shows for many years parenthood that people are like

40:01Claudia Oshry:obsessed with the lore of um addiction childhood molestation but also he has like just big personality and insights like and then building like a really really successful podcast read it

40:12Jackie Oshry:yeah and mark me down we were just talking about how them as a couple like they have an insane net worth right like they're both kind of crushing it um and i would like to know a little bit about i'm I'm sure he'll talk about it because they're always talking about like the awkward dynamics of their relationship. Like when you marry someone in the same industry and like he was very much like when they got together, like the lesser earner and the lesser everything. And I think she sort of lifted him up. So I'm just curious about them in general.

40:36Claudia Oshry:Yeah. And I'm sure he'll also talk about like being a parent, which is subject material that I'm very interested in. And I think he's just sort of like polarizing to people.

40:43Jackie Oshry:And people like that always make good books. Is he? Yeah. He's like always saying stuff on his podcast that like people hate.

40:48Claudia Oshry:I feel like only one time he did that.

40:51Jackie Oshry:Oh, what are you referencing? like Jonathan Van Ness okay so if we both have the same one do you have a second that's not yeah it's just the thing with Cher and Kristen Bell showed up like he's always he's sort of like toxic masculinity like oh really yes he's very guys I'm not wrong about this he's very I have no problem with him I don't know what the hell what he's talking about

41:07Claudia Oshry:I don't listen but I think of divisive podcasters I don't think of him because they're so oh no Jackie he's like up there what yeah he's America's sweetheart everybody loves him should I ask Chad no I feel like is Dax Shepard and his podcast considered polarizing? I feel like the commenters will let us know, but I, especially because the podcast realm has so many polarizing characters that when you compare him to the others, he's so lukewarm.

41:34Jackie Oshry:So funny. When I asked chat, of course the Jonathan Van Ness thing comes up, but a lot of his comments about personal topics get criticized for being cringe and awkward moments to discuss on social media. Um... Okay, maybe it's like my own perception, but I'm always seeing people hating him.

41:56Claudia Oshry:I feel like haters are going to hate, but like -

42:00Jackie Oshry:No, I think I'm right.

42:01Claudia Oshry:But I just love, love, love.

42:03Jackie Oshry:Okay, Teresa. I think I'm right, but let me know. Sound off in the comments, please. Am I just sensitive?

42:10Claudia Oshry:Or maybe like sometimes you see something one time and it's just really colors. You know what I was thinking about this morning? Like my theory that I now - You've told me I'm wrong, but I still believe it. oh let's hear it that long live is written about taylor and joe like she wrote about joe jonas and when she performed with the jonas brothers and you said it's for the fans but i i one time heard that like it was about them performing and i just believe that okay and as many who am i to like stomp on your belief i'm so i'm just saying like sometimes you just see something and like doesn't matter what anyone tells you that is what it is to you rascal is a name of course Of course.

42:47Claudia Oshry:Are you ready for our fourth story?

42:49Jackie Oshry:Harry Styles concert coming to Netflix. You know, I saw that when I was watching TV last night. Like I went to Netflix and I didn't choose anything. So then they put up like a screensaver of all their comings.

42:58Claudia Oshry:One night in Manchester, right? Yep. The superstar show from the co-op arena in Manchester in which he will play his new album, Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally, will be beamed out worldwide on the streamer this Sunday, two days after the album drops. He records the show on Friday. He's recording Friday for Air Sunday. Okay. I love this. Okay.

43:17Jackie Oshry:I love a concert DVD. I love this new format. So it's not live streamed because it's airing Sunday and recorded Friday, but it's like a live to tape thing.

43:24Claudia Oshry:It is. And I like that one. Like, you know, I don't want to see all the mistakes. So feel free to take those out. But I also don't want to see something heavily edited and produced that feels like fake. Right.

43:32Jackie Oshry:Like the 1989 concert DVD that was literally destroyed by Apple TV because like it cuts every two seconds. Like you can't even see anything. Love this. I'm just confused about the timeline. Is he only performing his new music? Because I'm like, I need to wait until I like learn the album to like appreciate it. Or is he just singing like his one new song and then all the old music?

43:48Claudia Oshry:I think he's just singing the new album. I think this is solely in promotion of his new album. That's cool. And I think it's a cool way to promote your album. He obviously saw that we said that he's doing press like a new mama. And he said, hold my scarf. Doesn't it feel like this was like kind of thrown together at the last minute? Yeah. I like this. It's new and inventive. And I'm not saying like if this were, I'm not like, I don't know that I'm a big enough Harry Styles fan to actually watch this. But if it were someone that I were a huge fan of, like I'd be so sad. And I'm not saying I'm not a fan of Harry's, but like to get me to watch someone's new album concert, like you have to be Bruno Mars.

44:21Jackie Oshry:Yes, of course. I hope that this is successful for Harry and Netflix. I would love for Netflix to do more of these. I love concert films, like whether it's like partial documentary, partial concert. I don't care. Like this is my favorite type of content.

44:34Claudia Oshry:And I feel like people are always trying to do something different, like visual album. Yeah. But doing it like this where we can like. Where does one watch a visual album? Ask Miley Cyrus. Right. Where we can see the songs in the context in which he wants us to see them, I think will do a really good job of getting these songs to the fans. I agree.

44:54Jackie Oshry:I love this. Netflix had like an era where they were doing this a little bit. Remember Ben Platt live from Radio City? Yeah, I never watched it. Oh, my God.

45:02Claudia Oshry:Actually, not because I'm a hater, but because I was such a big fan. I wanted to save it, and then I never watched it.

45:07Jackie Oshry:I, at that time, was probably the biggest Ben Platt fan when it came to his music, which is insane. I'm literally Haley Glassman, like a big fan and I'm a big troll because and I wanted to see it, too. Like, unfortunately, her name is now a verb. Great. I wanted to see it also. And now in hindsight, it makes so much sense. But like he was playing Radio City, like his hometown show on Rosh Hashanah, like so no Jews could go. Probably how he prefers it. And so I had to watch it on Netflix and it's incredible. Like that's what it's so hard to be like a Ben Platt hater for because like he's so insanely talented and it's one of the best concert DVDs.

45:41Jackie Oshry:Like, it's so good. And I feel like they did someone else. They did maybe Olivia Rodrigo right after. And then they stopped doing it. Like, these concert DVDs. Bring that back. I love that. Love. Me as well. Oh, and speaking of streamers, I don't know if it's a story, but do you see Paramount and HBO announce that they will be merging? And I don't know if it's, like, a new app that we all have to, like, download. But if they want to get in the game, like, do more concert DVDs. I love that. Yeah. Yeah, we'll see what the new app is. Which name should they stick with? I feel like HBO.

46:10Claudia Oshry:HBO, though, you just think it's like Sex and the City and Sopranos and Game of Thrones. Well, then there's an opportunity to like introduce a new generation.

46:17Jackie Oshry:I think like the name has such history, which is great. It's like I love the acronym. It's the home box office.

46:22Claudia Oshry:I know, but I feel like it can't be HBO. But I like they need to take elements like maybe box.

46:28Jackie Oshry:I was thinking that, too. Also, I don't think that they should go with Paramount. Like I think like Paramount has become like a controversial like title. Like they're always like getting involved in politics. Like they are. But Colbert. Colbert? His boss is like Paramount.

46:43Claudia Oshry:And then what happened? I don't know. He's always like doing monologues about them. All I'm saying is like, if you're very, it can't be that bad if you're talking shit about them on TV and they let you stay there.

46:51Jackie Oshry:If you're heavily involved in politics, like you might not sign up for a Paramount subscription. So like box, sure. Although it does have like the sexual.

46:59Claudia Oshry:Oh yeah. But like. HBO. Something new. No, no, no, not HBO. I'm telling you. I don't know if we can handle something now. I think we can handle one more new thing. It has to be the final new. The final new. We cannot handle one more regurgitation of the old. This would have been a good time if they hadn't grown their load for Max. Yeah. What if they went back? That would be crazy. What about Maxie? Maxie Lou. Max.

47:26Jackie Oshry:I like that.

47:27Claudia Oshry:He's my favorite streamer. Maxie. If it's okay with you,

47:34Jackie Oshry:might I let everyone know? Maxie. That today's episode is brought to you by Bowling Branch, where we like to cuddle up with Maxie. Okay. Bowling Branch. We do love watching Maxie. Today's episode is also brought to you by Neuro, memory and focus gum. So when we talk about energy, when we talk about focus, when we talk about memory, I feel like a lot of the options out there are like heavily caffeinated. They leave you feeling really crappy and maybe it's like a momentary fix, but you end up in the long run feeling worse. So enter Neuro Gum and Mints. It's an energy and focus gum and mint that give you clean, focused energy without the crash, sugar, or the sketchy ingredients.

50:55Jackie Oshry:Neuro ran a pilot study on their energy and focus mints, and in one cognitive task, participants reached a high attention state 21.4 % faster. So it's time to make the switch to good energy and faster focus. If you've been trying to decrease your coffee intake, just find better alternatives that aren't really sugary drinks or really crappy ingredients. I love the idea of it being in a gum and a mint. I feel like that's such an easy thing to carry with you all day. And the benefits, the results, they kind to speak for themselves. It's really a go-to when you need sharp, fast energy. You need to feel good.

51:25Jackie Oshry:You need to feel strong. You need to feel capable, whether you're working or being a mom. You just need to, unfortunately, have strength, and sometimes we don't have that. So they also offer caffeine-free options for all-day wellness support. Their Memory and Focus gum is made with American ginseng. It supports mental clarity. It does not have jitters. Their sleep and rechargements offer melatonin and chamomile to help you unwind and rest without pills, or if you get addicted to one of those sugary gummies, you'll just have to take them every night. It's just not good for you. So you can find Neuro at CVS Amazon and at NeuroGum.com.

51:52Jackie Oshry:And for a limited time, when you go to their website, N-E-U-R-O, Gum.com, use code toast, you can get 20 % off your first order. NeuroGum.com, code toast. That's NeuroGum.com, code toast to try it for 20 % off.

52:03Claudia Oshry:Thank you, Code Turin. You're welcome. Our fifth and final story, Justin Timberlake is suing Sag Harbor over his DWI arrest in a desperate plea to save his reputation.

52:15Jackie Oshry:Yes, I saw that page six, like really kind of slammed him in the headline. Because the news is just like that. He's doing the town. I don't know what his motives are, but they're saying it's to undo the damage.

52:26Claudia Oshry:Well, so actually it is because he wants a judge to block the video release of the dash cam footage of his arrest. Oh, it must be really bad. The recording, which was captured by officers during his arrest in June 2024, is currently part of a Freedom of Information Act request filed by members of the media. so he argues in the lawsuit that he is depicted quote in an acutely vulnerable state during a roadside encounter with law enforcement the court documents also claim that the body cam video captured quote intimate details of his physical appearance demeanor speech and conduct during his field sobriety test arrest and confinement the his lawyer claimed the release of the body cam footage would cause quote severe and irreparable harm to his quote personal and professional reputation and subject the singer to, quote, public ridicule and harassment.

53:14Claudia Oshry:So actually, Page Six was not exaggerating. His own lawyer said that. Well, now I need to see it.

53:19Jackie Oshry:I don't know if what the right way to have handled this was, but by drawing so much attention to it, like I might not have even cared. You know, this is a two-year-old thing. Like I would have watched it and like moved on with my life. But now I need to see what he's talking about. I need to get in the weeds. And the thing is, he's probably not going to win. Like say what you want about this country, but like the Freedom of Information Act is like kind of rock solid. it like nobody really gets around it not even like really famous people um I don't know what grounds it wasn't recorded illegally like he just wants it dismissed because he doesn't feel like people seeing it well that's kind of like too bad like what's his reasoning I don't I mean it will

53:53Claudia Oshry:cause personal injury to him but I want to say even if he is successful in blocking this video coming out like these quotes just he said he had a martini and drove home so they already just like upend whatever story he was telling because how could it be so bad that you want it like if he had a martini and drove home then it's just like an embarrassing dash cam like what did he do

54:15Jackie Oshry:yeah no all the attention being drawn to it like i do feel is a mistake reese witherspoon's dash cam footage like almost took her down but she's come back bigger and better than ever um like this is over i haven't really thought about him or his arrest unless i'm in sack harbor i'm like always thinking about it at the bar that yeah the american hotel i had a margarita there as well i didn't feel like driving home I actually took an uber I took an uber um so drawing a lot of attention to it it would have made waves but now it's like a big thing I feel like people don't really care anymore like the whole it ruined the world tour like it was fun it's over people really have moved on um if it could be the video I think the video is coming out regardless so now knowing that you tried to stop it you tried to like use your money and status to get around the law that like literally everyone like every that's the whole thing that the celebrities have issue with is the freedom of Information Act like their birth records their addresses like it's all just public record it's like kind of this annoying thing he's really not special these circumstances are not special I don't think he was recorded illegally like this is just what what it is it wasn't recorded illegally but so he's requesting he's trying to sue

55:20Claudia Oshry:or whatever for on what grounds like was it recorded illegally no that it will cause harm to him to have it out it has So intimate details of his physical appearance, demeanor, speech and conduct. Like, is he naked? Right. That's what it sort of sounds like. And if he was naked, I imagine they have to release it blurred. Yeah, of course. But then, like, we'll all see him like his naked form. Like, no, that will be. Well, that causes harm for sure. But so does drunk driving. Like, I literally don't give a fuck. I'm just saying, I just can't even fathom what's so bad. And, you know, I don't know.

55:52Jackie Oshry:I don't know what his hopes were for a comeback. But, like, I feel now, like, I'm getting re-mad all over again. no and I hope the people in the town like fucking hate him like I don't think that they're going to take this lawsuit lightly I don't think the judge like the Hamptons is very small town very like they hate outsiders like the fact that all these people come every summer like they hate like it's very local strong local proud so I feel like they're not going to take lightly to like this big celebrity trying to intimidate them

56:21Claudia Oshry:yeah we shall see if he's successful it still doesn't bode well because what did you do after one martini now it's not one martini of course not and if he's not successful like oh maybe there's like a woman in the car with him

56:35Jackie Oshry:hmm i don't know but when do we know that from like the police yeah the descriptions no now see look at me now i'm coming up with theories yeah he should not have done this because he's not gonna win either so it will have been for nothing and now we just like hate you even more well good job we'll stay tuned for that let's dive into dear toasters our weekly advice segment so every Tuesday, Jackie and I help out our Swirlies in need. You know, you guys do so much for us. You support the show. We try to support back by helping you out. So you can write in to us, deartosters at gmail.com, or head over to our website.

57:03Jackie Oshry:There's a little submission box. When you scroll down, it says, Deartosters. Both of the methods. You have just as much of a chance getting on the show either way, and they're both totally anonymous, so don't worry about that.

57:10Claudia Oshry:We don't discriminate based on method. No, we don't.

57:11Jackie Oshry:They all go to the same inbox. Just content. Based on method. So thank you to everybody who wrote in, and here are today's submissions. Hello, girly Swirlies. I just want to say I love you all so much. You seriously put a smile on my face every day. That's really sweet I need your thoughts Is this a red flag Or am I overthinking My boyfriend Flipped out on me For getting a little Botox For my little forehead wrinkle That was starting to show I paid for it myself Because we keep our finances separate But his reaction Really made me worry That he might try to control What I do with my body Or my money in the future Especially if we ever get married And share finances Would love your perspective

57:43Claudia Oshry:Okay Boys like think Botox Is a big deal And they love Taking a moral high ground Like you're beautiful You don't need these things And let me tell you If you never told him you had Botox, he would never even notice. Good on you for being honest, but like, what's the lesson here? No, but he just like, I think this is something like every boyfriend has to go through where they think like, don't do Botox. I love your face the way it is. And then like your face doesn't change at all.

58:06Jackie Oshry:It's a rite of passage for them to like, seriously, like, do you need me to pick you up? Like insane. They think it's just, I don't know why. Maybe they think it's filler or they were misunderstanding. So I can, it's very sweet. If he continues to like torture you about it in the years to come, like he needs to fuck off. But for right now, this is not a red flag.

58:23Claudia Oshry:And you don't even have to tell him that you're doing. Now, he knows that you're a woman who does Botox now. Great. He should know, you know, like we've said, transparency in terms of like medical procedures in your relationship is a good thing. But you don't need to tell him now every time you get Botox. And if you're worried about like combining finances and how he might like micromanage what you're doing with shared finances. You would know if he was micromanaging like finances in other ways. I feel like this is the Botox talking. I agree. But no, then you know that whenever you do join finances that maybe you guys each need your own little thing so that you can do what you want if he is going to be overseeing everything and having something to say.

58:58Claudia Oshry:Yeah, no, but like plenty of people have joint finances and still have personal accounts. Of course, and every woman should have a knipple. But that's like if you need to flee. Yeah. Not for Botox. No, no, no. That's like an emergency. This is just like daily living. Yeah. You don't need your daily living policed.

59:11Jackie Oshry:Also, if he is policing what you spend money on when it comes to cosmetic surgeries, he will need plugs. And you just have to keep up that energy for him. Right? What are we getting hair plugs for? Oh. You know? And it's like every man needs plugs. And a lot of them do it now. Okay. Yeah. So it's like, oh, I can't get Botox. You can't get your plugs, baldy. You love plugs. I just want to say. Because it's the one thing that men have to deal with. You know what I mean? We have to deal with wrinkles and skin and sag and boobs and pregnancy and belly. like everything they just lose their hair and they can't handle it like yeah they can't fucking handle it and they all consider getting plugs and a lot i feel like most men now like get plugs he can't if you can't get if you can't get botox can't get botox he can't get plugs yeah and i just keep bringing it up because it's like we're not the only ones you love hugs yeah ready for next one dear toasters i'm 23 married three years together for eight okay we met in high school when i was a teen i went through a cancer diagnosis he stayed through it all with me.

1:00:08Jackie Oshry:We share a very deep love and bond. He's very loyal. He loves me deeply. But for years, I've asked him to grow in areas like discipline, career goals, household responsibility, spiritual leadership. I eventually stopped asking because I started to feel like an Aggie bitch wife. I'm a travel nurse now. I'm still in school. Sometimes I feel like I'm managing him instead of partnering with him. We've had serious conversations about these issues over the span of the four years. He's not a bad guy. It makes me feel so terrible for even thinking this. I'm scared of hurting him and being the one to leave.

1:00:35Jackie Oshry:But even my family has brought up concerns to me about his behavior, my happiness. So how do you know if this is something to work through or if you're just misaligned? Sincerely, a confused and empathetic toaster. Oh, that's really tough. I know because obviously like a man who stays with you through cancer. Oh, you know, I wasn't even thinking about the cancer. No, because I'm thinking about it differently. I'm giving different advice to someone who just like, let's say without the cancer, got married really young. And it's like, yeah, when you get married really young, you run the risk of growing into different people that aren't well matched.

1:01:06Jackie Oshry:Yeah. But this is different because we always say like, you know, you're Bridget, choose your husband like your life depends on it. And so like in a darkest moment, like you had the husband that you deserve and like the husband who did everything right. And so like, are you giving up on him? But I don't know how many times you can have a conversation with someone before like they take you seriously.

1:01:25Claudia Oshry:Yeah, this is tough. One, because he was there for you, but also just because he loves you and he's devoted to you and he's an otherwise very good guy but like lack of motivation and ambition and desire you don't even have to be the most successful person but like a desire to be your best and and learn and grow and in all areas of life like that that's bad yeah I would because it's a

1:01:51Jackie Oshry:marriage because you guys have been through a lot together I would take your concerns seriously I would like continue to talk about them in like a serious way maybe like counseling but maybe like spiritual counseling yeah um he's a good man savannah like yeah but you get to see and so

1:02:09Claudia Oshry:there's good stuff here as and it's hard to find a good man like oh my god like the important boxes

1:02:14Jackie Oshry:are checked here no of course because then you have a man who might be like you know very disciplined career gold ambition takes and then it's a terrible husband no one needs sheets on you right in like the way in the places that it really matters so i feel like in the things that really really really matter like when you boil it down to like life or death he is a good guy and so there's a relationship worth salvaging here so whether that's counseling spiritual maybe starting

1:02:37Claudia Oshry:to go to church together and unfortunately i do feel like the onus is going to be on you to help try and break him out of his shell but i also feel like we need to be giving advice as if he might never break out of his shell and then what well then you can go absolutely but you have to give

1:02:54Jackie Oshry:it like a full full full shot because i feel like it is a marriage worth saving just based on what you've said about him yeah in other aspects of your marriage yeah it needs like a life coach

1:03:04Claudia Oshry:you know but like not a turnt one i know it's impossible to like find like that like if a if there was a life coach the concept of a life coach is such a good idea good idea the execution

1:03:14Jackie Oshry:of it is almost always grifter like 1000 and it's like the people who have the worst lives telling

1:03:20Claudia Oshry:me what to do with mine like uh no thanks no and when anyone says they have a life coach it's like eye roll yeah the concept is so strong agreed like what i guess but it's not even therapy even

1:03:32Jackie Oshry:though i want to say the real housewives of beverly hills did you watch last week no erica had a therapy session and it was like literally half the episode um and i hate when people do therapy on reality tv it's just like it feels too intimate first of all it was such an amazing scene and this I feel like this therapist has to be like having a three-year-long wait list. She's the most amazing therapist.

1:03:54Claudia Oshry:Yeah. She's been working with Erica for a while.

1:03:56Jackie Oshry:Yes. I look if I ever go to therapy I want to see her. She was amazing. Sorry. So what's our advice to this girl? Like I would really like I don't give up. Don't give up. I don't think he knows the seriousness. So like sometimes when like your wife is nagging you like you're not listening but maybe if your wife is nagging with like a bag packed maybe you'll listen.

1:04:15Claudia Oshry:Maybe talk to members of his family. You know, really, I guess, try every avenue before you were to give up. But I would be, that would really be my last, last thing to do. Our third and final is a little bit of Mahjong drama.

1:04:31Jackie Oshry:Hey, Swirlies. I have a little bit of Mahjong drama. I'm hoping you can help your girl out. I've been begging one of my close friends to join me at my weekly Mahjong club. And after a couple of months, she finally agreed. And to no one's surprise, she loves it. I've continued to invite her weekly, to which she has declined. But instead she asked me on four occasions now if she can borrow one of my sets to play with Her and a group of girls always post pictures playing together with my set and I've never been invited to join Also, it always takes me asking multiple times to get my set returned to me I have my own group of girls.

1:05:00Jackie Oshry:I regularly play with so it's fine But for some reason this just really rubs me the wrong way 1000 % Am I justified in being a little hurt by this and when can I tell my friend to buy her own set already?

1:05:08Claudia Oshry:Tell her today You don't have to tell her to buy her own set but she can't use yours You know she cannot use yours to a game that you're not invited to that's just like the rules of feminism.

1:05:16Jackie Oshry:It's the rules of feminism and it's certainly the rules of Mahjong. Now the thing about Mahjong is that it being a four person game like you're limited in some ways, right? So like you can't be invited to every game but if you're always inviting someone to play and you have a pre-established game and you got her into the game and then she's like flourishing and never inviting you back and then is also using your set and not even being a good borrower by giving it back in a timely fashion say it with me, fuck this bitch. Fuck this bitch all the way. Yeah.

1:05:39Claudia Oshry:Don't give her your set anymore. Do not give her your set. Like we're done with her. Do not give her your set anymore. Say, no, I'm using it. No, I can't. Ben always says like that. I'm so quick to like cut someone off, but I'm sorry. This bitch needs to be cut off. Yeah, that's really bad form, bad friendship to not invite you to play with her when you're the one who got her into the game. And you know what? I feel like sometimes games just like come together in a natural way where you have like a game, but that she never even invited you and gave you a chance. Even if you have your own game and you're fine.

1:06:07Claudia Oshry:Like I feel as though that's rude. Agreed. Especially the set. Like maybe you have your game and she has her game. But then like you also could have a game together with, you know, two other parties. One person from your group and one person from her group. Right. Or other mutual friends. Not cool. No. Stop giving her your set. Oh my God. You're so nice. People are so nice. I know. And also people are so awful. I would never give my set. So you could play without me? Are you fucking kidding? Never.

1:06:35Jackie Oshry:Absolutely not. I love my set. Me too. My set is so personal to me. I feel like I'm ready for my second set. I have three now. actually four if you include a travel because I have like I had to get one here and then I have one in New York and then I got another one here because like somebody sent me one and then I got the travel one in case we like want to play at the beach

1:06:49Claudia Oshry:like I have one I love it I love it so much like it it's like purses right it makes my heart sing and it's like an accessory so yeah and I love when we play with it I feel like everybody it's a good vibe it has like good energy it's from Oh My Mahjong and I just adore it we played with my set yesterday I love yours and being the girl to bring the set like it's just such a good feeling I'm always the one you guys need cards you need a rack I have I love yours too Me too But I feel like I'm feeling like Itching for my second Do it I need like So I can keep one in the car And one in the house And one in the house I'm not always like Oh it's in my trunk Oh my god she's always Making us go into her car And like take my phone So you can open the car It's so annoying Just a whole thing

1:07:23Jackie Oshry:So tell that bitch To get her on set Yeah

1:07:28Jackie Oshry:Roll or Roll or That's do toasters Thank you to everybody Who wrote in Roll or greater than Roll tide Wow I feel like you just Offended a whole fan base and I'm not getting involved.
