0:20I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and happy Monday. I'm so excited to be sitting down with somebody who's like Gen Z it girl. We are extremely young and hip here at The Toast. But somebody we talk about all the time on The Toast because we're just sort of in awe of her. Everyone, it's Zandra. Welcome to The Toast, Zandra. Oh my goodness. Hello, hello, hello. I was just saying to you offline, I cannot believe I'm seeing your hairline in person. Your hairline is so insane. It's so straight and full. I can't stop staring at it. And you were saying that people online think it's like, you know, fake.

0:49Fake. And I'm like, it's not fake. You were born with that. Show the camera. Like, that's insane. It's so thick and straight and full. I don't know. My mom has the same thing. I hate Jenette. Yeah. I remember when people started talking about it online. They were like, your hairline, hairline, hairline. My mom called me and she was like, you know, that's because of me. And I was like, oh, oh. And there she goes. She made sure you knew. Yeah. She was like, no, that's definitely not coming from your dad. That's me. So we talk about you all the time on the toes because you're just so cool and fun and fresh.

1:17And when you were on Sports Illustrated and you wore that star dress on your boobs, it was amazing. It was giving OG Kate Upton. we're like so jealous and happy for you um and it's so exciting to be here you know we have a very unique audience we're huge with gen z but a lot of our listeners are um kind of anti-tik-tok so for anyone who's not familiar with you like give everyone your little rundown your shtick dj it girl university of miami like you go okay oh my gosh this is hard how do i like it is hard sorry that's like not a cool i'm like and you talk so fast and you learn how to like get on your level i'm like okay so you know what when i started following you you were still a university a Miami student.

1:49You were like getting ready to go out and DJ. When did you start DJing? I started DJing when I was 16 years old. Damn. So like in high school? In high school. Yeah. Where are you from? Ohio, Cincinnati. So random. That's so random. I would have thought you were from like New Jersey. That's what everyone says. They're like, you give like East Coast energy. Yeah. Maybe it's because I'm like a little bitchy. Like, I don't know. What was it like growing up in Ohio? That's so random and like glee of you. Imagine just, it's so glee. It's so glee. Did you go to Lime Heights? I did not go to Lime Heights, sadly.

2:18I wish I did. I was just not a good singer, so maybe that didn't work out for me. But I imagine growing up in Ohio, one of those basic, boring movies. Right. Very regular. Just the most regular experience. That is what I had. Yeah. Nothing special. And so why'd you start DJing? I started DJing because I was always in music festivals. I loved going to them. And I had such an amazing time. And I went to Lollapalooza. I think it was my junior year summer. going into my senior year and I saw Allison Wanderling performing and that was like the first female DJ that I ever saw and I was like wow that's what I want to do that's who I want to be I just thought it was the sickest thing ever I've never saw a female DJ it is really cool so I was telling you a little bit before I also in college actually a little after college I had like a brief like career time as a DJ I thought first of all like it was fun you know and I love to party and I was like, well, I can also like get paid.

3:18It's actually really hard to DJ. And let me tell you, I took lessons. There was a place here. I think it's still a business called Scratch Academy. I like I didn't know where to start, you know, like that's true. What did you like teach yourself from like YouTube videos? Yeah. Yeah. YouTube videos. So I was like, let me just buy the equipment. What's that thing called? A board. No, but like what's the one like that everybody has? Like it's like like the 100, like the small one, like the big one. It had like the turntable. It had like one turntable. Oh, yeah. I went to class and I took a bunch of lessons and I got like one or two gigs and I realized very quickly it wasn't for me.

3:49Because I think a lot of people think and myself included that like you could just like drink and get fucked up and like party. But you're you're working. Right. And it's actually most people. Do it live. Yeah. Most people. You know, I see I see a lot in your comments. People are always accusing you of like not mixing live, which is kind of offensive to women. It's so annoying, but it's just something that I'm just used to at this point. Like the top comment, DJ Pressplay, or what is the other one? DJ Pressplay. This is about Paris Hilton, too. I see that all the time in her comments. Yeah. So uncool.

4:17It's so, I mean, they'll say it to any female ever, but it was so funny. I actually posted a video playing Levity. They're like these crazy dubstep DJs, and they also did a collab with Crank Dot. And I posted something to the remix, and everyone was commenting, like, oh my gosh, DJ Pressplay. and then Levity, who's like one of the biggest upcoming DJ groups right now. Oh, my gosh, this is so hard talking. By the way, I do talk really fast. Holy moly. I'm trying to keep up over here. Oh, my God. And I think for a lot of people, they're really surprised at how like fast paced the podcast is. I apologize.

4:52I'm going to slow down. No, no, no. You do not need to slow down. I'm going to keep up with you. I have some questions for you because I've been following you for so long. You like came up for me when you were like doing your makeup in your door. And you were like TikTok famous in college, which I feel like is the most cool, fun thing ever. Like, did everyone on campus just like was like talking about you guys? Like, what was it like? Because I knew I experienced it on the Internet, but you were actually experiencing it in real life, like instead of having to go to class and stuff. It was I mean, at that point, I was a senior.

5:18So I feel like everyone like we already it's a very small school. University of Miami is like very, very small. So I feel like people think it's like this like massive school. But it was only kind of weird. Like the freshmen would only say things, but everyone else were like, we've been seeing these people for, you know, the past three, four years. We really do not care about them. How long were you TikToking and making like Get Ready With Me's before? Because I remember when it all started. Everyone has like an era, like their Emily Mariko era, where everyone's talking about it. And like literally my older sister, Olivia, who has two kids and is not to be rude.

5:49Sorry, Olivia is 34. She was like, are you seeing Zandra? Like it really took off to the point where everyone was talking about the University of Miami girls, like getting ready. And Olivia was explained. And Olivia was the one she was like, and Zandra, she's a DJ. And like she gets ready. And so it was just like a cultural moment where everyone was talking about it. And so I feel like I've been following you since that moment. So I have so many questions for just like what it was like. And now you're just like an it girl and you're DJ and you go to Sports Illustrated. It's amazing. And we love it.

6:13But I feel like it was when it was all happening, like you had to be there almost like to experience it. It was so fun to just. And I think a lot of people, myself included, were just living vicariously through you guys because it was like, you know, I haven't gotten ready in pregame. You guys literally party so much. Every single night. And it was just like, how is this real? And then you took a really different approach from some of the other girls and you were DJing. And it was so cool. to watch your rise and now you do DJ festivals you're here in New York for a show like it's so fun to watch so I apologize for my fast-paced questions I've just been kind of wanting to talk to you for a while I know I feel like people would always send me a kiss from the podcast whenever you talked about me and I was like wait I love that my need to go well we also you know much like a lot of the internet users we are kind of like obsessed and curious with a lot of the uh like the drama with the girls in college because you and Alex came up together I feel like you guys don't necessarily have bad blood but you don't like fuck around as much as you used to and I always I'm kind of like a troll like I'm always in your comments and I like to see what people say because like I said they're always accusing you of not playing live and they're always accusing you and Alex of having bad blood and it must be really annoying to like not be able to move past that I'm a part of the problem now because I'm like bringing it up it's like all in your comments all the time and do you feel like you can't move past it I mean I feel like there's certain things there's no bad blood There's no problems.

7:31I feel like you're in college and you're really close to people. And then, yeah, you graduate and everyone's kind of going their own separate directions. And that's life. And I'm so close with a bunch of my other college friends. But, you know, it's people are always going to be curious. People are always going to bring stuff up. It's always going to be like a part of my story. But I feel like, I don't know, I'm doing so many other amazing things. And I live an amazing life and have an amazing friend. So whenever people say that, I'm like, I get where you guys are coming from. but it's really just not that deep.

8:01Okay, that's really good to know. Yeah. Does it feel like you're, how old are you? Sorry, if that's okay that I, I just turned 25. Hate you. Okay, so, but you're, and you've been TikTok-ing and publicly, like people have been paying attention for what? Like three, three years? I'm trying to, like halfway through my senior year is when things kind of. And that's just such a important time in a young girl's life, right? You know, there's lots happening. You're dating. You had a boyfriend, you guys broke up. And then, you know, everyone wondering, Danny Amendola, like. How does it feel to like have these public moments documented?

8:33I, you know, started Girl With No Job in college, but I didn't have as interesting of a life as you did. You know, me and Ben met when we were 18 and we've been together for 100 years and now we have a baby. Like you're experiencing all these sort of canon events as a young woman in front of so many people. How does that feel? That's a big question. It's interesting. You know, it's one of those things like because you want to be reckless. You want to do all those things. But when you know that there's so many people watching, you kind of do have to check yourself. Yeah. And you do have to grow up quicker in a way and just understand that there are repercussions for your actions.

9:06And I feel like that's what I've learned because I feel like all my friends were like dating, going around, doing all this stuff. And at first when I had a boyfriend, I would go online and I would just talk about stories about us because it's really hard to understand like how many people are watching. I know. And how many people are invested. I feel like I was really, really good about it for the most part. I mean there was definitely some moments where I was like was that necessary to tell but I mean those are things though that you really have to learn the hard way like you will get to a place where you know what the right balance to share is but like you kind of have to like fuck up before you realize like that you don't have to share everything exactly and that's what for the people that I've been talking to like recently and the new dating and all the new stuff I've kind of been like holding back a little bit yes we did notice that you were not being clear with us whether that was Danny Amendola's Dancing with the Stars apartment but we knew that it was and that's okay we knew that it was and we were happy for you and i feel like i was part of people being like guys be cool like be cool yes i was like everyone just like be chill about it just like can i have my moment you know what i mean like do i need to like spell it out for everyone right you gave us what you gave us and we saw it we understood it yeah i was like just please bear with me are you dating right now uh dating as in like are you seeing one person specifically no no but are you seeing multiple people love that no not like not really 25 and i had your hairline girl like you would not be able to keep me out of people's jam not not the hairline no but like it's like you must be having so much fun I for a while I wasn't having fun I'll give you that like getting over yeah getting over the breakup and just I had to deal with all that trauma and I feel like I was really really good at height not I don't want to say hiding it but again what I said is as soon as you bring things to the internet then boom there's you know there's no going back.

10:52And so I really took my time with kind of explaining everything that happened in my past relationship. And I had to deal with it personally before I dealt with it publicly. And so it really took me a long time to get over that and to deal with all those traumas. Can I tell you that the internet is so crazy because now coming up on my TikTok and correct me if I'm wrong, is your ex-man like now like a TikToker, he's like dancing? yes yeah see that's him okay that's what i thought i like recognize his face i'm like why do i know this guy and then of course like i said i'm a troll who just reads comments and i learned everything i say on the podcast i'm like i read it in a tiktok comment that's why i'm always like full of misinformation you should never listen to anything i say um but yes the comments did confirm that that was sandra's ex-man how do you how do you feel about his new digital footprint um you know there's certain things uh i i it's a little you know you just gotta let people do their thing yes I love that that's a good response you know I they're just having their moment and I think you know he when we ended things I said he pleaded with me to you know not talk about all his atrocities that he did with me and I said you know what for the sake of our relationship and like how long we were together for like four years yeah and it was a very traumatic four years but I was like you know what I did love you for a very long amount of time and you were a big part of my life and he was like I do not want to be online please like just let me have this one thing can I go and have a normal life okay that's like a fair ask even though like he was atrocious like you said yeah exactly but it was like we had all the like I don't know it was like I loved him a lot at one point even though he did all those awful things so then I was like you know what fine you don't want to be on the internet don't bother me yeah and I won't talk about you and all this thing.

12:44And then all of a sudden I was like, Oh, interesting. But you know, everyone's doing their own thing and like, I'll let them cook. Well, that's an interesting perspective. I didn't realize that. I think it's a fair thing for someone to ask. And Jackie and I talk a lot about how like in this day and age, you know, people are in relationships and then like, you know, they go and like tell everyone everything that ever happened in that relationship, bad and good. And sometimes people deserve it. Zach Bryan. But it does feel like now it's like a thing people do where they just like tell the worst things, the people's worst moments in a relationship and like, you know, go on a podcast about it.

13:16Now, obviously you're on a podcast. I'm like, oh, it's happening. But I actually really respect that you didn't do that. I imagine that was hard when you just wanted to like scream it from the rooftop. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. It was, you know, it was a lot. And I went to like therapy and I tried to figure a bunch of my stuff out. But definitely when I seeing this and like there's a whole another. I mean, it's just a bunch of lies. But, you know, like I said, if that is what they want to do, I'm letting themselves through dance. Yes. Dance, dance, dance away. Are you a big pop culture girly? Kind of.

13:51You love Dancing with the Stars, right? Yeah, I love because I feel like were you just there at the taping? Yeah. Got it. And of course, you spent a lot of time there last season. I was like behind the scenes. And you're best friends with the former winner. Yes. And he also ran the marathon. You're in town with the marathon, too. Yes. Because your brother ran the marathon yes so crazy i went to see the marathon yesterday and my friend emily ran slay um and go emily it was so emotional like i literally the second i got to first avenue to go see her i was like immediately this happens every year where i'm like i'm gonna run and i'm obviously not even though i did run a run a 5k two years ago and it was kind of like my whole personality and i crushed it um wait i like want to see the you know i'll show you i have a medal too wait i want to see it Yeah, it was really sick.

14:33And so, so many celebrities are on the marathon. We're going to talk about that. Sandra, what's the longest you've ever run? What is the longest I've ever run? I used to be, like, a big runner. Were you? Yes. Do you ever do, like, an official run, 5K, 10K? I did a 5K when I was eight years old, and I threw up. Am I not me saying I did a 5K, like, a year ago, and you did it when you were eight years old? No, wait, I played soccer my whole entire life. Oh, I know that. So that was always a big thing. but I actually you're such a soccer girl right? I mean like people say that it's my the legs no I didn't mean physically I just meant like vibe wise like you're so wait do I give soccer?

15:07you're so soccer you know what I mean I feel like I definitely I definitely don't give like I hope I don't give I don't know you don't give DJ though really? yeah but maybe it's just no that's why no people say that all the time though I'll go up the amount of security guards that I've gone up and I'm like oh I'm DJing they're like yeah yeah yeah I bet that's funny what's your dream gig? dream gig Like, ooh, I feel like I've done a lot. Like my dream, dream gig was to do EDC Vegas. I did that this year, which was a lot of fun. But I'd love to do a headline slot like EDC Vegas, which is pretty much one of the biggest you can get.

15:41Or Tomorrowland. I really want to do Tomorrowland. I'm familiar with Tomorrowland. So sick. Let me ask you a question because we were talking on the toast last week about DickJerry.com released the word of the year, and they made it 6-7. And I was with my sister Margo. It was during Halloween. And we were, like, trying to understand what's – and she was, like, trying to explain it, but she, like, low-key didn't know. and every time I don't understand something, I ask her because she's like young and hip. Yeah. Can you explain it? I have no idea. Oh, okay. That makes you feel better. I have no idea.

16:03What like, and I feel like everyone's like 6 '7". It just popped up out of nowhere. I thought it was like somber because he was like 6 '7". I thought it was 7 '89". I'm so confused. Like I really, I was not under, don't listen to me. No, no, but I still, like that's one of the things, like I have no idea. None of my friends have any idea. And we talk about it all the time. Okay, so even young people don't know. You're not brain rot. I'm not bringing up. So where do you live? You live in Miami. That's fun. It is a lot of fun. And so when you like party professionally, has it become less fun to like party regular?

16:34Um, I'd say definitely it's changed my clubbing experience. Right. Because I work at the club. Yeah. I say, I always say that I have the same hours as a hooker. Yeah. Nights and weekends. So I'm like, you will not see me out and about. But it's, I don't know. it's still a lot of fun but I feel like most of the time when I hang out with my friends in Miami like we're on a boat it's a house party I try to avoid clubs the clubs because it's like how somebody feels like when they walk into a corporate office yeah or like a doctor walking into a hospital right like that's how it feels yeah that's how it feels and you love living in Miami you don't think you would ever move I love it I mean I just got a house there so I'm stuck there until I find a husband of course so are do you want to get married like soon well I have You have to find a boyfriend first.

17:22We're talking about husbands. Everyone is getting engaged. Can we talk about it? I mean, I don't feel that way because it's like I'm not in my engaged area. It feels like everybody's having babies. That's how I feel. Oh, my gosh. So what kind of like timeline are we working with, you think? Well, I had it. Well, my ex-boyfriend. I mean, I feel like whenever you have a boyfriend for a long amount of time, you always think that you're going to marry them. Of course. So I was like, oh, my gosh, I'm going to get. Yeah, I was going to. I was like, oh, I'm going to get married young, like all the stuff.

17:49And I'm like, whoa. Yeah. I don't know. I'd love to find a boyfriend first. That might be helpful. I would help to get the husband's age. Yeah. Now is your full name Alexandra? Yes. When did you start going by Sandra? It is such a cool name. I feel like you're super talented, but I think a lot of like your charm and your success when you were first, I never heard of anyone as Sandra. Like it was kind of like a stage name, especially as a DJ. It's great to have. Um, where did that come from? Uh, it came from, honestly, I was looking for a DJ name. Yeah. And so I, when I was growing up, my full name was Alexandra and then everyone always just tried to short my name to Alex and my mom was like I just don't like I named you Alexandra for a reason I was like oh my gosh this is interesting well yeah because imagine like but I was like mom you chose like the longest name right no and I just named a baby and like you always think about like what they're gonna call the baby and I imagine Alexandra like she would have known like they're gonna call you Alex exactly and so I was like I don't know and then I was called AP in high school I was called April in grade school and so when i came to college i was like wow everyone's gonna shore my name so how about i just put some like i just choose what it is because honestly that's so sick i feel like people a lot of times i get nicknames that they're stuck with and they didn't choose those nicknames and yeah it sucks um and the fact that you chose your nickname was kind of my dream when i was in the eighth grade i really wanted like a cool nickname and so i had everyone call me juice box like nobody called it yeah i thought it was like such a dj juice box that would have been I'm really like, wait, that's actually like obsessed.

19:14It did not catch on. It's like hard to later in life get a nickname. But college is a great place to like start fresh and be like, hi, I'm Zandra. And I love that it took off for you. Like, I'm so jealous and happy. Well, it was the reason how you do it. If you ever want to like re-invite yourself. Yes. Change your Instagram username before you go to college. OK, that's actually really smart. I think that also happens like when girls get married. Like if I've known you forever, like I'm never calling you your married name. Oh, yeah. But if you change everything, like shout out to my friend Dana, formerly Holzberg, now Webman.

19:44The night she got married, she changed her Gmail. Like everything. And you know what? I kind of always forget her maiden name now. She's Dana Webman. Stop. Yes, you're right. It's all in the Instagram handle. It's all in the Instagram handle. Because when I came to school, I was introducing myself as Alexandra. And people were like, no, you're Xandra. And I was like, whoa. I love that. Yeah, right. I should have changed my Instagram to Juicebox if I wanted to. Yes. And then I guarantee every single person would have called you Juicebox. Wait, I kind of love that. I am. It's a hack. It's a hack.

20:09It's a hack. Well, Zandra is here to do the Fast Five stories with me. What are you currently obsessed with in pop culture? Like, what TV shows are you watching? Like, what are the young kids watching? Ooh, what am I? I don't know. I'm, like, really weird. I love, like, Law & Order, SB. Oh, obsessed. Also, sorry. And CIS. We have a lot of stories today about Halloween. I just want to say your Pamela Anderson costume was such a sleigh. Thank you so much. It's hard to be original. I feel like everybody, like, does the same couple of costumes. Loved. Thank you. Thank you. I have an amazing, like, team of stylists, and they basically were, like, you're going to be this and this and this this year.

20:39I do feel like you really actually look like her in everyday life. And the costume was such a slight. Thank you. So we have a lot of Halloween stories, a lot of celebrity costumes. It's not Halloween if a celebrity doesn't offend you with their costume. Now this year, thankfully, nobody did blackface, but Julia Fox is like kind of being crazy. So Zandra, I have a question for you. Are you ready for the Fast Five stories? I am so ready. Okay. Today's episode of The Toast is brought to you by Skims. So everything I get from Skims, I absolutely love, whether it's loungewear, whether it's undergarments.

21:09I especially love their sleep sets. You know, sometimes we find ourselves sleeping in things that aren't so pargy. And I feel like how you sleep is how you wake up and how you wake up is how you meet the day. And Skims is such a great sleep set, pajama, loungewear place. Everything I've gotten from Skims, I just like love and live in so well. It wears really well. It gets softer with every wash. It's lightweight. It's comfortable. The item that I'm talking about is a Skims soft lounge sleep set, it's really taken the place of like my favorite Jama set. You look really put together. You sleep like a nice girl.

21:40If you're sleeping with somebody else in your bed, you know, you want to look nice, but you also got to be cozy. Well, the Soft Lounge Sleep Set from Skims is everything. Read the full transcript

25:35People are really upset at her because she dresses Jackie O, not my sister, Jackie O, Nasus. but she dressed as Jackie O in the mere moments after her husband JFK was shot so there's like the iconic everybody saw the Natalie Portman movie where she was like my husband she dressed as Jackie O on the day of the assassination Jackie O famously like didn't change her clothes after JFK was shot she was wearing this like gorgeous pink suit it was covered in blood and then to like make a statement Jackie O never changed and for some reason Julia Fox thought that would be a good costume to not only dress as Jackie O but to wear like the blood now of course Jack Schlossberg is very upset.

26:11I kind of agree with him. It was a crazy costume. And I just want to say I'm kind of over Julia Fox. But she's raising eyebrows for her viral Halloween costume. The actress slash model dressed up as a bloody Jackie Kennedy Onassis after she survived the assassination of her husband. She wore a replica of the famous pink suit and the pillbox hat, complete with blood stains while attending a Halloween party in New York City on Thursday. So people were very upset. Jackie Onassis famously said, no, let them see what they've done to Jack. And I think Julie Fox got like a lot of hate. Rightfully so.

26:43And then she released a statement just sort of like trying to placate being like, no, you guys don't get it. Like, I'm here. Like, this is a statement for women. She was like. After the backlash, Julie Fox posted a statement on Instagram defending her outfit. She said it's not a costume. It's a statement. Oh. She said when her husband was assassinated, she refused to change out of her bloodstained clothes, saying, I want them to see what they've done. The image of the delicate pink suit splattered with blood is one of the most haunting juxtapositions in modern history. beauty and horror, poise and devastation.

27:11Her decision not to change clothes even after being encouraged to do so was an act of extraordinary bravery. It was performance, protest, and mourning all at once. A woman weaponizing image and grace to expose brutality. It's about trauma, power, and how femininity itself is a form of resistance. Long live Jackie O. So while I really respect her use of language here to defend herself, I think she really wasn't expecting people to be so offended by this because it really is like - Was that Chad GPT? It's very Chad. Right. I do respect her like attempt to be like, no, you guys don't get it. Yeah.

27:46Sometimes when somebody like you get hate, it's a good response to be like, no, you guys just don't understand it. I'm really not buying what she's selling. I'm just going to say it's not a good costume. I just I there's no reason. I feel like that was like such a traumatic time. A thousand percent. In history. And it's like, it's like, yes, assassination, not cool, especially with the way. Not cool. Not cool. Not cool. It's not cool. It's getting the X for me. It's getting, yes. I just really actually don't like this costume at all. I do think it's hard to be creative when it comes to celebrity costumes.

28:17You know, Heidi Klum is always doing the most, and I feel like she doesn't really need to be doing what she's doing. The lizard tongue was insane. So I feel like it's definitely hard to stand out and come up with a unique costume. Not everybody can be Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah. I get it. That was so good. And I feel like this is just a result of people trying to do the most and have the best, most original costume, so much so that you get to a place where you don't realize you're doing something incredibly offensive because I don't think she was like trying to be offensive. I think she was trying to be different.

28:42I feel like she's always trying to be different. I feel like that's her thing. Like that's her shtick. And it's like a little annoying. It's like sometimes be normal. Just be normal. Maybe be Pamela Anderson. Just be a little basic. Bring back normal. Like be a nurse. Like a sexy nurse. I feel like that is so, you know, it was so cliche that nobody does it anymore that if you were to be a sexy nurse now, it's kind of original and creative. Yeah. I hate this costume. I hate her respond. and I hate to be such a Karen, but it is tasteless and it is offensive. I don't like it. Well, a costume that is not tasteless nor offensive and I think wins my best costume of the year, besides your Pamela Anderson, was Justin and Hailey Bieber dressing their son Jack as a young Justin Bieber.

29:23And so Justin Bieber's son, Jack Blues, adorably channeled his pop star dad in Halloween 2025 by dressing as one of Justin's iconic looks. On Friday, Hailey Bieber shared a carousel of photos of their toddler to Instagram and she wished followers a happy Halloween. Here is the photo. He's wearing the iconic purple hoodie and white denim jacket. I just want to say, there's so many things I want to give Haley Bieber credit here for. One, she famously does not share her son on social media. So I feel like it's hard to create content with your kids. Everybody's always exploiting their kids for likes and it works.

29:54Shout out to Haley for making news without ever showing her kid's face. That is such a slight. She's so cool. Oh my God. Me and Margo, when she hosted with me last week, all we did was talk about Haley Bieber. Like there is seriously nobody cooler, better, more beautiful, more stunning, more successful. Like I just love her. She's really I mean, I I've seen her in person a couple of times, too, in her skin. She glows. The road is working. She's a walking advertisement for her own brand. I'm a big fan of the road glazing milk. I agree. Like she is so successful and she's a billionaire because she works hard, but also because like she is the embodiment of her own brand, you know, like slay.

30:28I love this costume. I think it's such a cute, funny way to pay homage to Justin's pop star roots. And we don't get to see the son. And I don't want to. I respect her privacy. I kind of want to. But I love that he literally has Justin Bieber hair. I know. And the little proper. I wish they did a TikTok with him, though. I want too much. I'm in the stage now where, because I also don't show my son on social media. And now my whole For You page is like moms and stuff. When I see a mom who doesn't share her kids, I follow them. because it's so hard to like, you know, you want to make mom content, but you're limited.

31:00And I think it's like a really hard, but like good choice to not show your kids. So I'm always like trying to support mamas who don't show their kids. So if you like randomly got followed by me, that's why I'm always following people. You're like snaps for you. It's hard. You want to share the journey, but like it's really tempting to show your kids because like that content gets really, you know, good engagement. And yeah, there's a lot of like kind of nefarious things going on on the internet. And like, I understand why a lot of moms don't. And that's like, I cheer you on. So Haley's kind of our leader, our fearless leader and look at her making news slay I know with the back of her son's head that's all you need the back of his head is ridiculous this is so cute seriously best costume goes to this two year old I know and he doesn't even know it he doesn't even know how famous he is no he has no idea imagine just popping out of the womb I think the Kardashian kids know how famous they are especially like the older ones like North is like she understands she knows that she's a cultural icon yes it must be so crazy to be so famous and like not know and I think that's probably Justin and Haley's kids experience too 100 that's so crazy it's so crazy what's your favorite justin bieber song to play like what gets the people going oh i don't really i don't really play a lot of justin bieber myself do you play the most you know i have a song if you ever want to play it it's called yeah it's oh wait no with your uh theme song okay well we do have our theme song yes but i wasn't recommending you play that it's not club friendly i would never say that no no i imagine that was my intro i have two songs one's called toast and one's called 100 they're both like honestly dance EDM bops can I play it for you wait yes stop I'm dying okay so I released Toast which was kind of like my my like our it really should be our theme song but it's not I don't know why um so this was my first song it's called Toast like it's literally hard to find on Spotify because there's so many episodes of the fucking Toast I love that I had no idea that you were I'm learning so many new things about you okay so my music that I've released my two songs it's actually it's not DJ songs it's like I sing too because you know I live for singing oh my goodness okay ready yes I'll play for you guys too I'm dying Sandra you have to play that like live okay no I will I will it's good it's like you like the beat

33:11okay like you got the vibe wait no that's another song called 100 % that's like a little bit more um very hailee steinfeld like oh i actually don't like the beginning of the song sorry wait you're a really good singer oh yeah i feel like the thing wait she's really good she's really good like this is like you play this at the club right yeah dancing with the boys and the girls i'm inclusive ready yeah doing what we do in the world this would go crazy at tomorrow oh my god yeah wait you know what that reminds me of like oh gee there was a song called gold that i listened to like forever and ever and ever and ever ago like i was like oh my gosh i forgot her name it was like brit nicole it's like a christian song is it okay like was it in the movie the other woman because if you just brought up like my favorite song i would die gold how does it sound like it kind of sounds like that like the verse kind of like the chorus kind of has that big opening moment okay if there's like the song i'm thinking of the christian song is like not at all but like maybe maybe other people know what I'm talking about.

34:12We could circle back on that. Yeah, we'll circle back. I don't think that's what people are talking about. So yes, if you're ever looking for a couple of bops to play at Fountain Blue, just know I give you full artistic control. Thank you. Would you ever remix one of my songs, Andrea? Should I? Do you do that? Yeah. Because I know you released your own song, Body Says. Yes, yes. Do you remix? I mean, obviously, you like remix while you're DJing, but you should release remixes of popular songs. Honestly, you could. I actually just did one of Take It Off and I made one to Actually Romantic by. Oh I'd love that Are you a Swifty?

34:42Like yeah I'd say okay I'm not like a die hard Like crazy I actually respect your honest answer Because I do feel like people on social media Like will cosplay as Swifties Just for likes And it's really You can always tell who's like a fake fan Who joined last year Exactly I actually really respect your answer Thank you I mean I used to go to all the Taylor Swift's concerts Growing up Like that was She For me I wasn't that big into Justin Bieber I was like way more into Taylor Swift Got it But as you've grown up Like your music taste has evolved a little bit Yeah, well, now I listen to like Dubstep in my free time, so it's a little bit different.

35:13But I do love a Taylor Swift moment, like her new album. Like, I love it. But I kind of go through like the ups and downs. Like, I wasn't like actually crawling to go to the Aeros tour. But I do. But I do love it. Let me ask you a question. Dubstep. Yes. Is that music without lyrics? That's music with like big, big bass. Like, got it. But that doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't. No, there's some lyrics. Okay, because like music without lyrics, like DJ music without. is some of my least fucking favorite music. Oh, just like chill, like. Like beats. House, yeah. One thing I mean, like I love to sing, I like to chant, like, oh, we're in the club.

35:47If you're playing music without lyrics in a club, like, I'm going home. Yeah. Is that a hot take? It's not, there's just different kind of realms in the music space. Like, let's be real. Yes. And I'm like, I'm not in the drug era of my life. Sorry. What do you mean? What do you mean? I'm not doing drugs. I'm so sorry. I'm so crazy. I'm not doing drugs. I'm breastfeeding, okay? Like, let's be fucking real. Yeah, no, that's good. That's good, yeah. What do you think about Tate McRae? Love. Love too, but she's like kind of in a little bit of hot water. Did you see that video of her with the microphone?

36:17No. Okay, so she just had a show and she picked up the microphone to start singing and she was holding the microphone upside down, but like the track was still playing. So now there are lip syncing allegations. Very Ashley Simpson SNL. Now, I just want to say, I don't believe she was lip syncing. Yeah. I don't. But the video is extremely compelling. But I think a lot of people don't fully understand on like how little even like the biggest pop stars sing live like there's so much backing and track so if you do like mess up there is a track behind you but that doesn't mean that you're not also singing live well yeah and i feel like she's dancing a lot too so you kind of do need a little something if she's not so out of breath and you know that you like probably would be but like that's kind of annoying to me though because it's so obvious that she's such an amazing singer like have you seen her when she does the sound checks at the beginning and does like the 100 i'm like she sings live with her phone you know she like sings someone else's song and she reads the lyrics exactly i'm like are you guys seriously coming after her for this like let the girl live a little i actually really respect like she puts on a show right and so that's dancing and that's singing and i think probably what separates her from everyone looks pop girly has their thing right and hers is totally dancing so if she's putting on a show like she does need supportive elements and if she has a backtrack just so she can like pop her pussy i am okay with that because that's her thing like yeah like taylor swift's thing is her songwriting like everybody has their thing and so all the britney comparisons between tate mccray yeah she's popping her pussy and she's dancing and so like she can't be singing at a level 10 i think it's fine i also think like the video is a little misleading i need to see the video now so i mean like everybody has a back track right like you yeah you know music yeah it's like a track and back nobody's singing completely raw no and they're like what people don't understand like what they're hearing in their ears is like something crazy and if their ears aren't working then they can't they can't sing right um so i know she's just like kicking herself for that little flop because now the videos like going so viral and all it takes is like one video it's so annoying your whole career it's not insane i don't think that's what's happening here like tablecrate is gonna be fine oh yeah but it is really crazy how just one video taken out of context 10 seconds can like literally destroy a person i know tiktok is so great for so many things but it's also so horrible for so many things i mean it's just so and i feel like before it used to be like news and all this stuff but now it's literally anyone can get online and say anything and obviously people are instantly gonna believe it.

38:29What's the biggest lie you've heard about yourself on TikTok? Oh, wait. There's been so many. That's like so tough. What's the one that like bothered you the most? Because it was so untrue. Oh. So many. Wow. That I did really awful things to my friends. That just never happened. Oh, I know what you're talking about. I kind of do. Is it about like a naked picture or something? Yeah. That was not me. That was not you. No. Oh, okay. Thank you for setting the record straight. I think a lot of people assume that it was you. No. Okay, Slay. Yeah, it was not me. I know who it is, but I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever say that in a million years.

39:07I won't make you say it, but good on you for clearing your name. And why did you not clear your name for so many, like, months, years? It's just because I didn't, like, at that point, it's like, why would I have to defend myself for something that I didn't do? do. That's like the frustrating thing. And I feel like it's something like you just kind of get jaded with. But at first, when you get a platform and just people start saying things, you want to like point out every single thing that people are saying about you big and small that's wrong. And then you sort of just have to like learn to live with it.

39:36And like things really do work themselves out. And like the truth does eventually come out. But I'm shocked that you let that go on for so long. I'm not gonna lie. I thought it was you. No, it was not me. Wow. Like, but yeah, I I mean, there's just certain things where I was just so focused about like my career myself. And like there was a moment where things got a little crazy there for a second. But I told myself I will always rise above. Yep. I'm never going to talk poor or ill about someone. I'm never going to do something that I would not be proud of later in life. And I was like, if I come out and I, you know, there's obviously things that you want to like say or do.

40:16but like I'm all good now and everything ended up working out for me yeah but wow I'm really impressed I can't lie like no I'm part of the problem because I totally thought it was you no it's okay I mean like most people I apologize no it's okay it's okay I feel like it always came up in like private conversations and I feel like no it wasn't me and they're like well why didn't you why didn't you say something and I'm like because well like what what am I what am I gonna to say, what am I going to do? Like, I would I would never like, you know, I was really close with these people. And like sometimes like people just have moments where they go and they do things and they regret them and then they can't go back.

40:52Right. Because then then they seem like a bad person. They would never apologize. So then I was just kind of left like, OK, I guess I'll just take take that one. Take it. Wow. OK, Xandra, Alexandra. Today's episode of The Toes is brought to you by Merit Beauty. When it comes to makeup, what's in the formula matters just as much as how it looks. Fourth story. Meghan Markle is like upsetting people again. And I'm at a place in my life where I'm like kind of becoming a Meghan Markle defender because people are just like coming at her too much and it's annoying and I wish it would come at her husband because like he's the annoying problematic one it's not her I'm telling you um however with this new video that she put out like I do understand like why people are freaking out so she posted this like really cringe um like celebration video that she like propped her phone up and her and Harry and some other lady I don't know who that was we're watching the Dodgers in the World Series they won a game and they're like celebrating and it's just like a cringe video um unfortunately like Megan is just an influencer and I do believe that she like runs her own Instagram account like this is what we're gonna get from just like this is someone's mom like yeah she's not thinking about it when you put out a tiktok like how many times do you watch it before you put it out like a thousand you look what no no you just like post it raw i like i'll watch it through like once that's it for my but when you don't think about like how does this make me look or like like what kind of thought process what's your creative process i don't i try not to think about it too much because i feel like when i think about it too much it just like if you won't post it right Well, I feel like Megan just like post things like she she probably needs to like take a second and be like, wait, I'm married to, you know, a former prince.

45:34Right. A former prince. I guess I should probably look at this. So she posted a black and white Instagram story of her shrieking in delight and then ran over a hug. Her husband, Prince Harry, who was sitting in a reclining chair with his feet up. And then after bending down to give him a hug and a kiss, she continued to jump and down, jump up and down with her close friend Kelly in excitement. Oh, my God. She squealed. And Harry just like sort of like chuckled. now the thing is if you were to just watch this video and you don't know who these people are you would think that like this is a man who hates his wife like he's so not she's like being cute and funny and sweet one thing about me I'm always gonna see the worst in Prince Harry I cannot stand this man I don't think he like I think Meghan gets all the hate for their relationship when it's him if you watch the documentary like it was him who didn't protect her at the royal family it was him who should have hired her a stylist it was him who should have taught her all the rules but no he just like threw her in and she's like sitting next to Queen Elizabeth as this like Canadian slash American like of course And so like all the hate that got sent her way, like I really I blame him 100 percent.

46:26And so she's the one like posting them on Instagram. So she's the one getting the hate. But like watch a video like he's so mean. She's like excited about something. You know, it's like that Taylor Swift quote like about cake pops. Like when someone's excited about something and you like kind of make fun of them instead of like getting excited with them. It's such an annoying fucking thing. And he's just like kind of you could tell he's like he feels like annoyed with her. Now, again, it's just like a 10 second video. Maybe we shouldn't like look so much into it. And there's like a window into their marriage.

46:48But like, sorry, like this is what she gave us. And we have to now looking into it. and what I'm seeing is not good. I really, really don't like Prince Harry. So I am always just going to see the worst in him. But this video is not great for him. I'm sorry. But she looks fine though. Yeah, she's like, she's like a happy-go-lucky, like fun-loving gal. I feel bad. I loved her in suits. Of course me too. She was like the biggest baddie ever. And so, I don't know. But when they got married, I thought it was the coolest thing and then everything kind of fell apart. Really bad. I was like, wait. I know.

47:16She was on top of the world and everyone thought she was so hot and so cool. And then I feel like that's such didn't like Princess Diana, like didn't. Yes, there are a lot of parallels. I do wish that it had worked out for her. Like, that's kind of my biggest gripe with the whole situation and why I like hate Harry. Because like it would have been so cool for there to have been like an American divorcee half black woman in the royal family. Like, why couldn't. And I think like everyone had a part to play, but Harry doesn't get enough shit for like it not working out on his behalf. Like earlier, the tabloids were bad and I don't think everyone was super nice to her.

47:45But like Harry should have protected his wife more. and I really like I watched the Netflix show I'm not obsessed with this era for her like I think she's like kind of free falling she has a shot my like it's weird yeah do you think it's weird she has a shot my I mean like a little don't you have like better things to do no and like you're royal why do you have a shot my yeah like you're royal you're a duchess you are a duchess and your children are like princes yeah and princess yeah it's just weird why are you trying to get like that's for other people except we did get her jam jam oh and my husband ate it he said it was fucking amazing and my husband has like a very high culinary bar um for jam or just like all things and he comes into the house he doesn't realize like i got sent this in pr i'm like we're not supposed to eat it we're supposed to save it it's from a princess like fuck and he's like did you eat this apricot jam i'm like did you eat this apricot jam he's like he posted on his instagram he's like i don't know where this jam came from it's so good i'm like it's like it's royal jam we're supposed to eat it but he said it was so delicious like for real and did you try it i'm not like a big apricot girl sorry they should have sent like strawberry 1000 obviously the person packing the pr doesn't know that i like have the palate of the like a sixth grader yeah what our fifth and final story is about all the celebrities who ran the marathon so the marathon was yesterday like i said i was like on tiktok all night crying and i swear to god like i will run it not anytime soon but like i will and a lot of celebrities ran it which is just another reason to do it you know you never know who you could run into.

49:08So true. Here are the celebrities and their times. Now I, what was your brother's time? My brother's time was 4.10, but he had a lot of problems at mile 12 and it was like a whole thing and then everyone was like. What kind of problems? He was just, oh my goodness. He, uh, thought like the whole like right side of his body started to go numb and he's run like 12 miles every single time. He was running with his best friend and they were supposed to do 3.15. Oh, that's what they were like pacing for. Yeah, that's what they were pacing for. And so they were good. And then And he just lost like all feeling.

49:38But he finished. He finished. Yeah. He finished at 425, 420. Okay. 15. So my friend Emily, who is her first time, she ran in four hours. So like that's my benchmark for like these people. Because like honestly, some of these times are all good. Anthony Ramos from, everyone knows her from In the Heights, original cast of Hamilton. Four hours and 44 minutes. Okay. 44 minutes and longer than my friend Emily. Yeah. That's not so good. Everything. I'm like, literally, literally. Baseline. So these two guys, I don't know them, but they are Death Cab for Cutie. Ben Gibbard and Dave Pepper, 336 and 354.

50:11Okay, that's really good. Yeah, that's good. But I feel like it's easier for men to run faster. Like there are biological differences between men and women. Sorry, there are. Claire Holt, Slay, three hours and 39 minutes. Everyone knows her from H2O. Nor, Emma Nor. Clior. Clior. Exactly. A lot of people from Broadway, including Jordan Litz, he's in Wicked. he ran it in three hours and 40 minutes and then he did wicked that day i heard i think he did too yeah how do you do that that's insane that's how i'm like yes all people are created equally but like we're really not that's insane call radke from summer house four hours and four minutes four minutes longer than my friend emily but that's still really good and then a lot of people from the bachelor and the bachelorette tyler cameron uh five hours and 38 minutes that's kind of long like not me saying that as it would literally take me a whole day to run 26 miles um I think like didn't he I think he was like walking for her I think he was helping his girlfriend agreed agreed I saw that too I wish I was like that's very cute it's totally fine you know what I'm like being a bitch I'm being a bitch sorry that was like actually me to me no no but you never know you're right you're right you're right Joey your friend yes I think you say his last name Grazade Grazade but it's like Grazade I mean I was gonna say Grazade so I'm glad that I asked you he did it in 4 hours and 29 minutes 29 minutes longer than my friend Emily Matt James he's like a professional He did three hours and 31 minutes.

51:31That's really good. Joe Amabile, grocery store Joe, three hours and 49 minutes. And then Tanner, I don't know who that is, four and a half hours. That's Joey's friend. Oh, that's Joey's friend. So Joey. Tanner Cotard. Oh, they did it. Oh, by the way, their times are three seconds off. They obviously did it together. And then three people from Love Island. Nick, who's dating Alandria, four hours and 42 minutes, 42 minutes longer than my friend Emily. Brian, who I hate, four hours and 32 minutes. And then Elon, the cutie Jewish man from Canada, obsessed three hours and 20 minutes. That's why. He's like a big runner, too.

52:01I didn't even know that. I don't know. I feel like he just looks like a runner. I feel like whenever people talk about certain reality shows, your name gets thrown around a lot, like Summer House. Would you ever? No. No. Would you ever do any show? No. Not dating, just like any sort of reality show. Any show? Possibly. I mean, like, there's ones I feel like I would always talk to Kelsey about. She was like, you should be on The Bachelor. And then she was like, you should definitely not be on The Bachelor. Yeah, I feel like you shouldn't, actually. No, I'd be like, no, no, no, no, no. The only thing I could see you doing, because I do feel like you have a similar vibe, although you don't live in New York, is Summer House.

52:36Really? Yeah, because it's about fun young people going to the Hamptons for the summer. You do go to the Hamptons for the summer. Yeah, true. I think they could use a fresh energy like yours. And you're a DJ, and they're always playing music. I don't know. I just feel like it'd be a good fit. I'd be playing music for all the parties. Yeah. They invited me to a ton. I obviously run into the people. No, I run into them all the time. So there's a connection. It wouldn't be like a random casting. Think about it. I don't know. Maybe, maybe I'll think. Maybe. I don't know. I don't know how well I do.

53:02You think you could live in a house though? Like you always stay in your own house in the Hamptons. So like, how do you then like stay in a house with like other people? No, I don't think that. You're kind of spoiled. Yeah, I'm so spoiled. I'd be like, no, no, no. Like I'm just gonna. I'm gonna stay at my house, but I'll see you guys tomorrow. Yeah, I would be like, oh, see you guys at the pool party. Cause that's what they always do. They throw these like parties. They don't really go out a lot. it's hard for them to get permits in the Hamptons. Like a lot of the, I think they stay in Sag Harbor and like the townships really don't like that there's a show so they don't give them permits to film anywhere.

53:27That's why they're never filming anywhere besides the house and like random restaurants. Yeah. They can't go anywhere cool. I feel like, yeah, no, I don't think they do. Because I imagine like the big cameras, it ruins the vibe. Yeah, it ruins the vibe. And you know, Montauk and all these, it's like small town energy even though it's become like an influencer hotspot. Yeah, but the Hamptons like hate when people come. Like they literally, even when I go there, I've been going there since, I think like five years or something because my ex-boyfriend had a house there. So I went there every single summer.

53:54And then when we broke up. It's a good type of boyfriend who has a house in the Hamptons though. Like, you know, say what you want, but like, you know, it's nice. It's nice. No, it was nice. And then when I broke up with him because he cheated on me, I was like, you know what? There's one thing I'm not losing out of this relationship. It's the Hamptons summer. Yeah. So now you rent your own house? Yes. Also good. Which is like. Independent woman things. Because like he did it with his parents and his parents were there. And I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was like, no, no, no. Like, I'm too grown for this.

54:19I can't be hanging out with your parents anymore. I have to tell you, you slayed your first time at the Fast Five. I know you were a little nervous. You absolutely crushed it. No, I was scared. No, no. Not like scared, but I was like, you talk really fast. It's a lot of pressure. I feel like not getting on the pace. Yeah, but you're really keeping up. I'm really proud of you. I'm trying to. So are you doing more shows? Where can people follow you, come see you, promote, do your thing? Oh, my gosh. Okay. I have a song coming out very, very soon, which I'm very excited about. So go stream it. go check out my Spotify, my Apple Music.
