In short

The Toast (fast five) episode focuses on pop-culture chatter, especially Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce’s July 3, 2026 wedding at Madison Square Garden, plus sports and celebrity news. Hosts discuss how Love Island recaps will move to Thursdays and complain soccer coverage lacked English commentary/graphics, making the World Cup feel confusing. For the wedding: they claim leaks were prevented by watermarked e-vites naming recipients, and they debate whether Taylor invited Blake Lively (they argue no, since not inviting is “friendship-ending”). They address rumors about police/security costs (they say MSG pays the NYPD out of pocket) and that the event ran on generators. They also mention debunked claims: a “documentary” about the wedding, long buffet lines, and auctioning items; they note a raffle of a Chanel bag/convertible tied to charity is rumored. They cite Gracie Abrams posting a carousel photo of Joe Alwyn from The Favourite as “cut off-worthy.”

0:03Jackie Oshry:Good morning, girlies. It's The Toast.

0:08Claudia Oshry:It's Jackson Claude and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show, the fast five things you need to know.

0:18Jackie Oshry:We'll start your day off swirly. It's The Toast. I sound amazing. Welcome back to the toast and happy Tuesday. Hope everybody's having a great day. My flu-like symptoms have subsided minimally. Minimally. No, you've like crossed over. God forbid. You've peaked. Yes, yes, yes. And I'm back, ready to go. We have like not actually a lot to discuss today because Love Island last episode could have been an email. Was a piece of garbage. And I like our Love Island takes are so deeply unpopular. it's insane that like people were so mad what we said about carlin and aya really you guys weren't

0:55Claudia Oshry:ready for that but come back in a year and let me know how those are the amaya papaya stands yeah yeah they are feels good yeah we will bore you with love island at the end of the show

1:06Jackie Oshry:right as just want to remind everyone the weekly programming has updated slightly since love island dear toasters which was originally on tuesdays is now on thursdays to make room for our hugely unpopular Love Island recaps.

1:17Claudia Oshry:And after last night's episode, I've doubled down on the fact. On everything I felt. That I will not be watching automatically next year. Yeah.

1:25Jackie Oshry:Last night's episode was particularly bad. We'll save it for the Love Island recap. Before Love Island, I tried to watch soccer. Right. I was so bored. And I was getting annoyed that Love Island was ruining my life because it starts at 8.35 and the FIFA World Cup started at 8. And I really wanted to be a girl who watched sports. By 8.35, I'd really seen everything I needed to see. Soccer is so boring. and I feel like we were talking about why has the whole world become obsessed with soccer and just like hasn't taken in America and it's not for lack of trying Messi plays for Inter Miami David Beckham came to LA like it just hasn't taken off in the way that other leagues have and it's because it's boring like that's it's as simple and as complicated as that

1:58Claudia Oshry:I just feel like you sort of have to be there in what sense

2:01Jackie Oshry:like to be in the stadium

2:02Claudia Oshry:and feel the energy

2:04Jackie Oshry:oh and we lost by the way

2:05Claudia Oshry:but I also find like a lot of sports watching on TV like boring now I can find the joy in it because But now I like watching football because there's all this lore and the players and stuff. But I think the way it felt watching soccer for you yesterday was the way it felt for us watching football five years ago. It's like, I have no idea what's going on. And also, I actually know the rules of soccer. I know the game. It's taken me a really long time to understand football. At least if I'm watching soccer, I know what's happening.

2:29Jackie Oshry:So I think that when Taylor Swift started going to football games, the MCs, everybody stepped their pussy up. The networks had more graphics. They were like explaining it to people because a lot of people were new here and they weren't understanding like the rules and stuff. I have like a lot of criticisms for also like the MCs and the Fox network. Like bad job. Bad job all around. Like where were the graphics explaining it? Like a lot of people watching in America. This is our first time. Like we have no idea what's going on. We needed that like that Taylor Swift level of introduction. We needed interesting graphics.

2:56Jackie Oshry:Perhaps a chart. They do that for the Olympics too. Like they explain every athlete.

3:01Claudia Oshry:Instead it was just like a live stream.

3:02Jackie Oshry:It was a live stream with some like grumpy old men in the background who I wasn't even listening to. Like it was so boring. and color me so confused because I thought the World Cup was streaming exclusively on Peacock and I could not find it in English and I was like where is the English it's streaming exclusively on Peacock in Spanish everything else is on Fox so it took me I watched first 15 minutes in Spanish that is confusing it was extremely confusing and overall like not a positive experience I really wanted to get into it but then we lost so like I don't think we're going very much further

3:28Claudia Oshry:yeah I think that's it for the U.S. from what I saw this morning we're eliminated so I'm good yeah I tried who's everyone rooting for Argentina still I genuinely don't know enough about the lore so I can't really make an educated decision yeah I don't know any like I didn't even watch as much as you did last night I haven't watched anything so boring as I've said like you can't have a family

3:50Jackie Oshry:watch Love Island run a business run a business have a job three meals a day have friends make

3:55Claudia Oshry:sourdough play mahjong sourdough every other day mahjong every other day try being an and watch the world cup like it's true it's not gonna happen for me and that's okay it's no your limits you

4:07Jackie Oshry:know and i tried i just really wasn't into like all that much so i did watch love island love island prevailed as it always does i'm counting the days till it's almost six more and what are

4:18Claudia Oshry:the stories today like anything no it's giving summer tuesday you know everyone's sort of i guess coming back from the wedding.

4:25Jackie Oshry:Right. All those who weren't invited are on European vacation.

4:28Claudia Oshry:And I think everyone who was there is just sort of like gleaning how much can I post? Yeah. People are starting to do. It seems as though I can post a carousel with my outfits and reference TNT and also post other things from the week in there. And that's the extent of what people are posting.

4:44Jackie Oshry:I want to talk about like one of the major feedbacks we got from yesterday's episode because a lot of people when discussing like the Blake V. Taylor discourse, a lot of people were like, you guys didn't even consider the fact like maybe Taylor invite I never considered I considered it people were commenting maybe you guys didn't consider the fact that Taylor invited like but Blake declined like you're telling me Blake who's like seriously working overtime these days to get back in the good graces of the public post on social media go to events wear her outfits get paparazzi she wouldn't go to this like

5:08Claudia Oshry:beloved affair beyond that I considered it I didn't the wedding because sometimes you can't go to every wedding you can't dance at every wedding like things happen people have lives even though like 1500 people like did find a way to make it to Emma she she lives in New York City You can make that argument if the wedding was somewhere very inconvenient.

5:26Jackie Oshry:Oh, and she was spotted upstate New York. She was in the state.

5:28Claudia Oshry:She has a place in New York City, and when she's not there, she's in New York State, upstate. Like, it couldn't have been more convenient for her. So while I considered it, I tossed it out because it's not the case.

5:39Jackie Oshry:I didn't even consider it for half a second. Because if there's any sort of remnants of a friendship there, like, not going to someone's wedding is, like, the final nail in the coffin. Not inviting someone to your wedding is the final nail in the coffin. So, like, there's, I'm sorry, there's no way.

5:51Claudia Oshry:Yeah. There's no way.

5:51Jackie Oshry:no there's no way but thanks for bringing it up because i didn't i actually didn't even consider it it never even crossed my mind that someone would do that people also said that like if you

5:59Claudia Oshry:read all the legal documents it's clear why taylor is done with her which i'm not going to be reading all the legal documents but they said that in the legal documents like blake threatened to release all of the text messages with taylor so like that would be friendship ending for taylor in addition

6:16Jackie Oshry:to the person that she murdered correct correct and i'm not going to go like deep into this because people once again like hate everything that I say but I just want to let you know like no matter how many comments you leave no matter how many videos you make I don't care but people are using

6:27Claudia Oshry:the fact that Taylor has clearly turned on Blake yeah no to support it does it does support that

6:32Jackie Oshry:and I don't even really people like Claudia writes so hard for Blake I actually don't in Taylor v Blake I'm talking more in like the Baldoni case like I'm telling you I know you know I don't want

6:40Claudia Oshry:to get into it but this is what people are saying I just I'm curious how you would respond like Like Taylor discarding Blake due to the aftershocks of Baldoni v. Blake. Like does that not change how you feel about Baldoni v. Blake if even Taylor is done with her?

6:56Jackie Oshry:Because I don't think that Taylor and Blake's relationship ended because of Blake's role in the Baldoni case. I think it ended because Taylor brought, Blake brought Taylor into it. So it's like I think Taylor would have had her back in the case even if everyone thinks she's wrong and she made up all the accusations or whatever. I think Taylor would have had her back. Like, that's her friend. But then Taylor, like, bringing her into it, having to get deposed and threatening to release a text message. Like, now Taylor's personally invested. And that's where she draws the line. That's what I think.

7:22Jackie Oshry:Got it.

7:23Claudia Oshry:But. But that doesn't even seem like the whole story. Not separately. That doesn't seem like the whole story. People have no idea what actually happened. Because, like, Taylor, I'll go depose for my friend. Yeah, put me on the stand.

7:35Jackie Oshry:I don't know.

7:36Claudia Oshry:Like, if my friend's telling the truth. And I was there the whole time. And I was in the apartment. Doing the Bialdoling meeting. I was there for the shakedown. Yeah, right, right. the great chick down. And now you need me as a witness. I'm there. The godmother?

Read the full transcript

7:47Jackie Oshry:Yeah, no. Something else happened. Like, people don't really know. She murdered someone. She did. Yeah, no. And I don't know what that is. Yeah. Because Taylor's, like, the girl. The loyalty girl. Like, Taylor wrote a whole album about the people who weren't there for her when it was unpopular. Like, that is her least favorite quality in another person. So to assume that she did that to Blake, it's unconscionable.

8:09Claudia Oshry:So I think she hates murder more than she hates disloyalty. Crime is bad. Like, we all agree. I'm against crime and I'm against murder.

8:18Jackie Oshry:That's very brave of you to say. And you're just brave for that. I know, but I have to speak my truth.

8:25Claudia Oshry:You know what I mean? Like, you just can't silence me when it comes to important stuff. Important things like crime. Yeah. Of course. So there's a little more, like, wedding, you know, bits and bobs. Yeah, people are, like,

8:37Jackie Oshry:putting their carousels and, like, putting little Easter eggs, if you will,

8:40Claudia Oshry:at slide four or five yeah slide four or five is where the easter eggs are found yeah are you

8:45Jackie Oshry:finding that like there is a decent amount of or is it just like the sides of twitter and tiktok that i'm on that there's like a decent amount of negative response to the wedding in general

8:58Claudia Oshry:i there's always gonna be like you know haters hating haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate hate i actually think there's something that's like not being said which is which is like what the fuck they raffled off chanel bags in a car yeah and not being said by like real people of course trolls are gonna say but like we're not listening to them i'm saying like what the fuck

9:20Jackie Oshry:yeah the chanel bag when when i saw so they have debunked a couple of things right like they said that there was a documentary tree of pain came out and said that's absolutely not true but there have been other rumors that they auctioned off a car a chanel bag and i'm like there's literally no way like tiller doesn't even wear chanel like there's no way and then i saw a girl put in her carousel a black chanel bag and like she's the winner with the little raffle

9:39Claudia Oshry:ticket that said tnt on it yeah and that seems to be factual they raffled off the getaway car the convertible from their first like sorry and it's like where's the money going to the cost of the wedding to a charity raffle at their wedding yeah no the chanel bag and i heard that like people

9:53Jackie Oshry:were waiting in lines for the chanel bags like what and it's like a carnival that's actually not true not everyone there can but like it's like a carnival like that's not a thing you do at weddings

10:05Claudia Oshry:no and also i imagine if it was like a three-day wedding you have to like sort of you know build up the activities absolutely you get desperate this was like a normal length one night only started at like four or five o 'clock and ended around one two like when's for every wedding i've gone to in that hour i i don't know when there would be time for like a full-on raffle and i've actually been and they talk about like the 40 minute vows and everything was long of course

10:27Jackie Oshry:ceremony cocktail hour when is the raffle when and why is the raffle yeah and it's like is brad pitt and inez i just followed inez de ramon on instagram highly recommend like highly recommend i don't know like i know she's technically a jewelry designer but now she's a socialite right she's brad pitt's grandma oh my god she's like audemar paquette like she's so sickening and she gets like fully dolled up for every event um was she waiting in line like who waiting in line for the raffle i heard that the chanel bag raffle like had a huge line oh like a silent auction I'm not entirely sure. Yeah, so it's like, that's what you do at a charity event.

11:00Jackie Oshry:What's the charity? And they gave to charity. Maybe it was for charity.

11:04Claudia Oshry:So they made everyone else pay more. Oh, also I did get some -

11:07Jackie Oshry:In addition to$26 million. Some helpful feedback about the NYPD police presence. And I guess this happens at all large events for Madison Square Garden. If you need to close streets, if you need a major police presence, Madison Square Garden actually pays out of pocket for that to the NYPD. So it is actually a good thing.

11:23Claudia Oshry:Included in the cost of the venue.

11:24Jackie Oshry:So Taylor did not use taxpayer resources. is I also heard that the event was completely run on generators so as not to like take anything from, like she was trying to dodge any and all sort of accusations. And yeah, you do pay for the police presence. You pay for the street closures. You pay for the permits. And you pay, I guess, for the energy used.

11:39Claudia Oshry:Yeah, but like she pays the venue and the venue handles. Right, the venue, right. It's part of the cost of the wedding.

11:44Jackie Oshry:So like the criticisms, because I did think like actually like a valid criticism is like what is like police resources being used? You call the cops in the city, it takes like 35 minutes for them to come, but they're at Taylor Swift's wedding. So for her to not use like city resources and then of course the$26 million. She's really trying to get ahead of everything. And you know what? So far, every criticism has been, I want to know what the raffle, is that for money? I mean for charity?

12:07Claudia Oshry:Yeah, I'm going to reserve judgment, but that's the only thing where I'm like, what? That's a weird thing to do at a wedding, I agree. What in the what? That's what you do at a carnival. Yeah.

12:15Jackie Oshry:Or a charity event, which this is not.

12:17Claudia Oshry:Yeah. Unless it was. So I'm seeing not an overwhelming.

12:20Jackie Oshry:Maybe it's going towards the Donna Kelsey Renovation Foundation. Maybe it is. Because she needs new windows for her home in Orlando.

12:25Claudia Oshry:maybe it is but so no I'm not really upside from like you know basement trolls I'm really not seeing like hate everyone's like excited but there's also not a lot to work with so what's to hate no one's gonna cloud on her dress we haven't seen her dress we haven't seen decor we haven't seen anything yeah you would just be you would be hating me just because you're a hater

12:41Jackie Oshry:they have like come out and debunked several rumors one the documentary two I love a documentary I just want to say I'm very upset that that was debunked two that I guess one of the rumors was that like the buffet lines like the lines Oh yeah, I saw the lines were so long. People's feet hurt and that they were eating standing up. Standing up because, you know, a 1 ,500 person wedding. And that one, Tree Payne, also was quick to debunk. I heard it, you know, ran. Dumois actually had to issue like a. Correction. Saying that it was the most well-run buffet anyone had ever seen. They did buffet? In the history of event making, yes.

13:13Jackie Oshry:They did buffet. Yeah. You know, actually, if I were to be getting married now, one of the things that would change in addition to getting my mole removed would be having a buffet. It's such a vibe. It is. The order, it's like very formal and traditional. We sit, we have a speech. Yeah, but like you want people to have fun. Anytime I've been to like a most fun wedding ever, it was a buffet.

13:33Claudia Oshry:Yeah, I do see the merits of a buffet and I'll never knock a buffet. I also love a buffet. I do also love the seat of dinner, assuming like it's a pargy, three-course meal.

13:43Jackie Oshry:Of course, which I assume Taylor had great offerings. I heard shrimp was being loaded in and lobster and Sartiano's truck. Oh, interesting. Caviar.

13:50Claudia Oshry:the marine life that was killed i'm ready for more think of the marine life i'm ready for more

13:56Jackie Oshry:like i've only i've sat here now second day in a row like grasping at straws we're just like making stuff up pulling from carousels that's why there's not a lot of hate because there's nothing to hate

14:05Claudia Oshry:right i just need a picture of her dress up or down bangs or no bangs i think she wore up with

14:11Jackie Oshry:bangs up with bangs during the uh ceremony no no down for the party no no opposite that is the move

14:18Claudia Oshry:by the way. Yeah. Down for the ceremony up for the party. Definitely. That's the move.

14:23Jackie Oshry:Hair is up like you're sweating.

14:25Claudia Oshry:Yeah. And you don't have to worry about like do my hair fall. Of course.

14:27Jackie Oshry:Of course. You just like

14:28Claudia Oshry:slick it all back into the bun.

14:30Jackie Oshry:And apparently their car was seen like going about in New York. Assuming they're in this one vehicle that everybody now knows. They like were going out last night. So they're not on their honeymoon? I don't know. Maybe it's a decoy. It's kind of helpful to them that everyone knows that this is their car because they can say oh we're here but we're there. I think they're probably on a honeymoon. Yeah. You just getting pregnant?

14:52Jackie Oshry:I feel like when we've watched her documentaries in the past she always stresses that like her life is planned three years in advance like album tour album like you know you can't it doesn't make way for like romance or spontaneity and I feel like since she met Travis like a lot of that has gone and especially since the Ares tour was so successful she's not one of these artists that has to be on the schedule it's like we will come when you decide it's not like you know sometimes if you don't stay on the hamster wheel like you get so I think a lot of that is no longer the case

15:18Claudia Oshry:for her so I'm ready yeah I think she could do it like I know everyone thinks like oh you know I can't right now my career it's never a good time but it's always the right time but but I do

15:28Jackie Oshry:want to that's beautiful but I do want to say I do think it's also the right time yeah but you

15:33Claudia Oshry:know but it's never like it's a good stretch of 10 plus months of course of course but it's always the right time chilling well I guess we could get into the stories because we already have the wedding some more. Without further ado, it is time for the Fast Life Stories that you do need to know. Everyone's going to have a field day with this one.

22:41Claudia Oshry:Thanks, Tertseries. You're welcome. our first story just finishing out our lurdvis wedding conversation i need more because this is

22:49Jackie Oshry:like the type of thing i could talk about ad nauseum for two weeks and it's day two and it's like there's nothing left okay did you see the invitation i did see the invitation and the person who told them themselves yes okay so like we said yesterday it is really impressive given how big the wedding was how little has leaked even after like we literally like we said we're grasping at straws so um things like this systems put in place makes sense this guy is like a brother of a

23:14Claudia Oshry:childhood friend yeah and uh travis is ashish ferguson so basically they sent out an evite

23:21Jackie Oshry:and on everyone's invitation it said their name it was watermarked watermarked all over in a way that you couldn't crop it out so if you sent the picture to anyone it was very clear who screenshotted who snitched who leaked and i guess that's why nobody shared anything nothing till We did not see the invitation.

23:37Claudia Oshry:And we had heard, you know, it just said when and where, but not the exact location, which it did say, you're invited July 3rd, 2026, Manhattan. It's actually so impressive. Love, Taylor and Travis. One night only, early evening, black tie.

23:49Jackie Oshry:People, you know, because there's literally nothing for us to talk about, people are theorizing that Taylor actually painted it because, you know, we've known that she does watercolor and actually in one of her lyric videos, this matches the style. I'm cracking up. There's nothing to talk about.

24:03Claudia Oshry:There's nothing to talk about. But like if this vibe of the picture of the painting like sets the mood for the wedding. You know, sometimes.

24:08Jackie Oshry:Which we were told the mood was like a garden.

24:10Claudia Oshry:Sometimes the invitation's a little taste of the wedding. Yeah, a lot of times. If you can get your ducks in order.

24:14Jackie Oshry:If you have like a vision.

24:15Claudia Oshry:Yes. Yeah, but like sometimes you do the invitation. You don't know what's happening. It's just kind of invitation's out. Like, yeah. But if you can tie it back to what people can expect at the wedding, that's really beautiful. So I love this vibe. You know what it's giving? Secret garden. The lakes. Well, hopefully not.

24:31Jackie Oshry:But yeah.

24:32Claudia Oshry:the um the yeah the lakes right

24:35Jackie Oshry:it looks like more like like a romantic let me see but there's like a lake there is a lake but it's giving like a lake it's giving um is there a lake like a lake more like a pond

24:44Claudia Oshry:like a lookalike the pond you know walled in pond

24:47Jackie Oshry:take me to the lakes where all the poets went to die I don't belong and my beloved not sincere ruining the word beloved can I borrow your lip gloss yeah cause oh the gloss yeah sure

24:58Claudia Oshry:I just need something like

25:00Jackie Oshry:I looked sickly on yesterday's episode I mean I was sick but like I was wearing no lipstick.

25:03Claudia Oshry:We're perfecting the lighting.

25:04Jackie Oshry:When I don't wear lipstick I actually look like genuinely ill.

25:08Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

25:08Jackie Oshry:Like I belong in a hospital not a podcast studio.

25:10Claudia Oshry:Yes as in I as do I. Oh you don't agree.

25:13Jackie Oshry:But you also you can agree. It's okay.

25:15Claudia Oshry:No yeah but I wasn't saying it in that moment. Okay. But I just think lipstick just gives a nice touch.

25:19Jackie Oshry:Lipstick lasts longer.

25:20Claudia Oshry:She has a sheesh Ferguson is going to jail.

25:24Jackie Oshry:I wonder if Taylor and Travis are mad or like they got they actually got away with so much. The fact that they had a 1 ,500-person wedding is insane. And really, before it happened, nothing was leaked, except that it was Madison Square Garden. But, like, nothing consequential.

25:38Claudia Oshry:So now, do you think they care? I definitely think, like, Ashish, who wasn't super close with anyone to begin with.

25:45Jackie Oshry:He was generous to be invited.

25:46Claudia Oshry:Will stay not close.

25:48Jackie Oshry:Damn. You know?

25:49Claudia Oshry:But, like.

25:49Jackie Oshry:We appreciate you, Ashish, but I'm sure Taylor doesn't.

25:52Claudia Oshry:Yeah. This is a good way to, like, know who your friends are. But who knows the manner in which Ashish leaked it? Like, maybe.

25:58Jackie Oshry:Maybe he just sent it to his girlfriend. and like his girlfriend was a snitch. Right, right. But it doesn't matter because it's his name on the invitation.

26:03Claudia Oshry:And it's like, did the person who leaked it not realize that this was... Going to destroy Ashish's life.

26:09Jackie Oshry:That it says your name. How can you not notice it's everywhere? It's really smart.

26:13Claudia Oshry:Yeah, it is really smart.

26:15Jackie Oshry:That's what they do when you get like a screener to a TV show that hasn't aired. Like we get them for Bravo and they have my email like all over it. So I could never like leak a clip because it's very smart. It traces right back to you. It keeps people honest for the most part.

26:27Claudia Oshry:Mm-hmm. Also, Gracie Abrams posted a carousel of like her wedding look. And there's a photo of Joe Alwyn in the carousel. What? Wait. What? In the carousel, she took a picture of her TV screen watching The Favorite. And it's the scene of Joe Alwyn and Emma Stone. What's wrong with her? I don't know. And also like she was with Olivia Rodrigo. Okay, that's not her fault because that was like a work thing for. She's just engaging in traitors behavior.

26:54Jackie Oshry:Carousel, okay. Red dress. I'm so ready for her to get the boot. who crazy from Taylor's life why I don't know I just like drama she wore the red dress

27:09Jackie Oshry:yeah the screen capture of Joe Alwyn from the favorite in the same carousel as the outfit you are to Taylor's wedding is crazy yeah bye bye great this is so crazy Joe liked this post Joe liked it that's what someone commented that people are also meant she's smoking a cigarette. Like seriously, girl.

27:29Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

27:31Jackie Oshry:Wait, I just want to go back to how weird this is. I did not see this. And I just think, what can you expect? What type of behavior can you expect from someone with that haircut? Dead ass.

27:41Claudia Oshry:Yeah, I feel like Gracie gets away with a lot. And I think her days are numbered.

27:46Jackie Oshry:Wow, I mean, this is really weird.

27:49Claudia Oshry:And like Taylor did the song, I Knew It, I Knew You. Like she obviously didn't care. But she invited Gracie. She did, because it's not bad yet. but it's going down. Damn. Her days are numbered.

27:57Jackie Oshry:I just want to say, I think that this is like cut off worthy behavior.

28:02Claudia Oshry:Yeah. Yeah, I agree. What the fuck is wrong with her?

28:06Jackie Oshry:Unless that's not the dress she wore to the wedding and because people are just assuming if you're posting a carousel and in one of the pictures you're wearing a gown, we are assuming Sabrina Carpenter just did that. We're assuming that that's what you wore to the wedding.

28:17Claudia Oshry:Yeah, I think that she did because she also posted this picture of like her in a car. You know, page six is reporting and it's like that's, this is her wedding. It totally was.

28:24Jackie Oshry:yeah what the fuck and it's not like the favorite is like an insanely big popular movie that like everyone i couldn't help but to post it i couldn't help but to watch it and also like she could have posted a screenshot from a scene that he's not in um no gracie everyone's like you're weird for that your days are numbered a thousand percent and taylor's generous with gracie like taylor has a lot of friends that she who are also musicians who do you think it's because gracie's dad is jj

28:48Claudia Oshry:and she's getting like nepo treatment within yeah like she's powerful sort of she's not No, but she could be. One called a J.J.

28:57Jackie Oshry:And what? What is the director of Star Wars going to do to Taylor Swift?

29:01Claudia Oshry:And Lost.

29:03Jackie Oshry:Such a good show. But wait, just really quickly.

29:04Claudia Oshry:I think Taylor respects powerful directors like Steven Spielberg.

29:08Jackie Oshry:She definitely does get nepo treatment within the Tay daughter universe. Because there are a lot of, I mean, think of Haim.

29:13Claudia Oshry:Like if Olivia Rodrigo was the daughter of a famous director, I think things might have been different.

29:17Jackie Oshry:Like Taylor has a lot of musical friends. Selena Gomez. Have the two ever done a project together? not only does they have the song on Gracie's album which is a bigger thing than having someone on your album it's like such a they're always writing songs together like

29:29Claudia Oshry:she gets special

29:30Jackie Oshry:preferential treatment for sure

29:32Claudia Oshry:I wonder

29:33Jackie Oshry:do you think Selena Gomez is like miffed that like they have done one thing together and it was iconic I mean I could but why would I want to at the 1989 tour and like that's literally it

29:43Claudia Oshry:yeah

29:44Jackie Oshry:imagine Selena's not

29:45Claudia Oshry:easy to work with no no no she's better as an actress

29:49Jackie Oshry:I actually agree yeah

29:52Claudia Oshry:shut the

29:53Jackie Oshry:yeah yeah sure sure I'm just yeah yeah I'm trying to say something and the combo yeah okay Gracie Abrams you're weird for that like you are on the list

30:03Claudia Oshry:yeah are you ready for our next story number number two oh yeah Prince Harry is having drama oh I'm obsessed because Prince Harry um has been disinvited from staying at Buckingham Palace so Prince Harry it's actually very unclear what happened like I read it and I'm not sure I'm gonna tell you everything that has been said to have happened. He arrived in London on Monday afternoon. I think his trial was ongoing. He was supposed to bring his family, and I remember seeing articles a couple days ago, like they're all going back to London, which is very big. No, he wound up just going by himself. And what's the trial?

30:35Claudia Oshry:Like with a magazine, right? Yeah, I think so. He was like suing the tabloid. His reps on Monday said that he had accepted an invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace this week after finalizing his security plans, only for palace staffers to brief that it would be impossible for him to stay there because he missed a July 3rd deadline to let them know that he was coming. Yeah, I heard he waited like weeks to respond.

30:57Jackie Oshry:And he said, I was getting my security detail in place. So you couldn't accept? So sorry, yeah, the beds need to be made. I can't believe they invited him to stay. It's actually insane. We have this conversation every time he goes back to the UK because there's always drama. He wants his and his family's security detail paid for by Buckingham Palace, aka the taxpayer. It's like, why the fuck would we spend$3 on you and your family when you guys wake up every day thinking about how you could destroy us? It's crazy that he even wants to stay there. It's so weird. Like, they don't hate him enough, honestly.

31:27Jackie Oshry:No, they don't.

31:27Claudia Oshry:And then, like, some, you know, insiders are like, if they wanted him to stay there, they would find a room. They don't want him. Even if he arrived in the middle of the night, let's face it. Spoiler alert, they don't want him. Would you want a rat in your house? Let me tell you how I love this. I hope you invite him all the time and then rescind every day. Do it every day.

31:44Jackie Oshry:This is so drama, always. there's never been a trip where he goes and there isn't drama with his accommodations or his security he's such a diva it's like you wanted to be independent now you want to come home and have everybody wipe your ass and put diaper cream on it like stop yeah i there's no one on this earth i actually hate more than him yeah so they didn't go the kids it was gonna be a big deal that the

32:01Claudia Oshry:kids are going back yeah and not that i saw that they did not go like genuinely i know he has to

32:05Jackie Oshry:go for work even though like you have lawyers and stuff he doesn't have to go he's like unemployed he's obsessed with like going back and getting attention and starting stuff because i think he He wants to reaffirm his victim narrative in the States because people are onto him. When they first left, people really believe. What do you mean onto him?

32:21Claudia Oshry:It's over for them.

32:22Jackie Oshry:Right. People really champion them and really believe him. And slowly but surely, he was like, I kind of think you're the problem. And I think he goes back to sort of get more. Look, they won't let me think.

32:31Claudia Oshry:They remember what they did and they won't pay for my.

32:33Jackie Oshry:They locked me out of the house.

32:34Claudia Oshry:They won't pay for my security.

32:35Jackie Oshry:I think that it's a strategic thing for him to carry more feedback back in the States. And drum up more sympathy. But people are so over them. like nothing they do is gonna work except go away going away is such a powerful thing and I think that about Blake Lively too like people are like she'll never come back they say that about people all the time and people come back they really do there's something very powerful about going away for a long period of time reputation like Taylor was really hated we forget because she has come so far but like she was really really disliked by even a lot of her own fans they felt it was like very duplicitous and like this narrative was being painted of her going away is such a powerful move that they refuse to do.

33:14Jackie Oshry:They need the money, I know.

33:15Claudia Oshry:Yeah, and they've sort of quieted at times. But every time they pop up, it's never long enough. Every time they pop up, it's like whack-a-mole. There are a lot of people who seriously need to go away.

33:27Jackie Oshry:Just... For a time. It worked with Anne Hathaway. Yeah. She went away for a long time. There needs to be like a retreat where celebrities go. That's like image rehab. We just like, you can enjoy it. You just need to go away.

33:38Claudia Oshry:I just feel like Meghan and Harry's like, the size of and the scale of like their their scandal or whatever you want to call it is just

33:48Jackie Oshry:so big like global historic it'll it will be in textbooks you know like there's no like oh this too shall pass i know but i'm talking about it's not like oh i made a cringy speech at an award show case in the uk which i don't think they care about anymore in the states i think americans are

34:03Claudia Oshry:done i feel like i think they think americans are stupid we all feel used here oh i don't because

34:07Jackie Oshry:I never really bought

34:08Claudia Oshry:their whole shtick. But we had to, you know? Like, how are you going to say, like, oh, you're lying when someone's telling you these horrible things? It's true. Like, you wouldn't, and you wouldn't even think that. Yeah. But then you see their character over time, and it's like, oh, it's not the most honest.

34:23Jackie Oshry:I just know that that William and that Kate, they just fucking hate him.

34:26Claudia Oshry:Yeah, and they're just on top of the world. Like, he's starting stuff. He's never come, and there hasn't been drama. It's true, but I hope that every day you guys invite him, and then every day

34:35Jackie Oshry:you rescind the invitation to have gotten invited and not responded within the allotted time is such crazy person behavior very sincere energy and then playing the victim they kick me out it's like no these things have rules like you you've told us many times the firm is very strict and there are all these rules and policies and protocols so like you know yeah and you just are like letting the invitation hang in the air you're so fucking lucky to get it you shouldn't even be invited in the first place literally that would never be that's like literally me inviting like taylor lorenz to come stay at my house right only something only a crazy person giving her like a wide berth of a

35:09Claudia Oshry:window take as long as you want to decide up until two days before i need to know you know just to order food yeah and then she accepts yeah why would they let him stay there and i know like

35:22Jackie Oshry:the palace is so big and it's like this it's a cottage by the river or whatever but like so that's my property line bitch you're not coming you're not coming no no they're too forgiving They are too forgiving. And they don't even. I think it's Charles. Like, that's very much his energy.

35:37Claudia Oshry:Really?

35:37Jackie Oshry:Not for Harry, but in life. He's like a big softie.

35:41Claudia Oshry:Yeah, in life. But I think he fucking hates Harry.

35:43Jackie Oshry:Well, I think he's got a sneaky suspicion that ain't his boy, you know? So it's like, why I gotta be nice to the stranger? Yeah, yeah.

35:50Claudia Oshry:Like, we're done here.

35:51Jackie Oshry:Allegedly.

35:51Claudia Oshry:You're done. We're done here.

35:53Jackie Oshry:We're done.

35:54Claudia Oshry:Are you ready for our next story? Good day, sir. Are you ready for our next story? Some more family news. Jonas Brothers announced a return to Madison Square Garden. They have announced the Burning Up tour all over again August 20th and 21st at Madison Square Garden.

36:10Jackie Oshry:A lot of action for the garden this week. I think I have to go. Like the Burning Up era like was the peak of my Jonas Brothers fandom. And I'm like really hard on the Jonas Brothers. But I am like actually a fan at heart. We all are. Yeah. Does this mean they're like only playing old music? What is the... So is it a reunion tour?

36:29Claudia Oshry:created as a celebration of the music the memories and the connection that has spanned nearly two decades this special event brings one of the jonas brothers most unforgettable live experience back to the world's most famous arena with arena with celebrating everything that has followed

36:42Jackie Oshry:you know people say like bruto mars isn't dead he's like chained to the bottom of the mgm casino because he's like owes him so much money people like need to start saying that about the jonas

36:50Claudia Oshry:brothers so this is like a uh a recreation of the original burning up tour which was an exhilarating time in their lives go to that as kids i don't think so i don't think i did maybe you did and getting to the chance to relive that with the fans while celebrating everything that's happened

37:02Jackie Oshry:since means the world bless i appreciate that like they everything that's happened since is giving like new music but right we can we can forgive it i feel like you know every time i go on tour like watch so many tiktoks and i always like end up wanting to go but i don't so i would

37:15Claudia Oshry:like to go this one is it august 20th and 21st that's doable i'm gonna be like no but that's doable yeah i appreciate about the jonas brothers that they have like all this lore

37:25Jackie Oshry:and like these fans who really love like from when they were teenagers. I think a lot of people feel too proud and they want people to like listen to their new music and people do listen to their new music and their new music is very good, but they're never afraid to just like do Jonas Con, you know, to like lean into the lore. And I appreciate that. I think it also pays their bills. So like it's a smart thing to do because they have like a big fan base, but so many people like just like this is the new me. It's like we don't care.

37:47Claudia Oshry:No, this is like a couple million dollar weekend for them, which is great.

37:50Jackie Oshry:Great, because they do have to split everything three ways, which is exhausting.

37:53Claudia Oshry:And I think they like nice things. And I think their wives like nice things. Did you see that the girl from off campus,

38:05Jackie Oshry:she was like a supplemental character in the first season. And now she's the star for the next season. Like, we're following her story. So everyone's obsessed with her. She's also, like, dating one of the guys from the show. So, like, she's really, like, she went on their podcast. Like, their podcast really confuses me. They have guests. Yeah. And they have, like, guests who, like, are on press tours. They're just, like, a Jimmy Fallon. Okay. Like a smart list. She maybe is just like a big Jonas Brothers fan, like that girl from White Lotus, like Haley Joel Richardson. I don't know. I didn't watch that one.

38:30Jackie Oshry:But she was like the biggest Jonas Brothers fan. So like after she became famous, she just like used her fame to like go to Jonas Brothers concerts.

38:37Claudia Oshry:That's really funny. Yeah, it is. Yeah, maybe like a smart list. Yeah, I guess like the three of them just maybe like I've said enough to one another,

38:48Jackie Oshry:you know, it's time to start bringing in guests.

38:50Claudia Oshry:Yeah, that was quick. That was quick. are you ready for our fourth story ariana grande has been seen on a streak of outings with her

38:58Jackie Oshry:ex-boyfriend ricky um whole foods what is she buying at a whole foods probably some whole foods

39:05Claudia Oshry:probably some yeah probably some fruits and veggies i was gonna stop yes sorry we're not

39:09Jackie Oshry:commenting on women's bodies but like she looks like she looks terrible here she looks really sick

39:12Claudia Oshry:like she it's really sad no and i keep seeing clips from the tour like Like, how is she not collapsing?

39:20Jackie Oshry:I don't know. Do you know what your energy takes to do stuff like that? Like, dance, sing, outfit change, makeup. Like, it's an all-day thing. You're up at six, you're rehearsing. Like, she must be so tired.

39:28Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

39:28Jackie Oshry:She is just going to fall one day.

39:30Claudia Oshry:No, and now, I don't think she's, like, back with Ricky. Oh, really? But so Ricky's the one. That they lick donuts together. Of course. Of course. Of course. She shouldn't be seen with him again because of that, because that was so bad for her image.

39:41Jackie Oshry:He was also in the lyric. You saw some songs about Ricky. Now I listen and laugh. which is dead ass one of the meanest things like you could say about someone she did end up changing that lyric right wrote some songs about ricky what did she change it to um i have no idea oh no she changed her dad never mind he's trash remember that was at first and then she said now i listen and laugh she said never mind he's trash and then she changed it to now i listen and laugh interesting so like i don't know how ricky could take her back because that's fucking mean like

40:11Claudia Oshry:yeah but i feel like you could it could be interpreted like now i listen and laugh to those songs about Ricky because like we're friends and it's like funny that yeah but her initial

40:18Jackie Oshry:song and then when the song was the most biggest song in the world remember it broke every record never mind he's trash was the lyric that's upsetting are you sure positive or did she

40:27Claudia Oshry:like just change it once I don't think it was the original lyric I think it was I'm looking up the

40:33Jackie Oshry:lyrics but there's no way to know chat will know I don't think chat will know oh really I don't think chat like that's supposed to know what was the original lyric about Ricky in Ariana Grande's song thank you next thank you next i wasn't sure if it was uh but honestly like ricky in these

40:52Claudia Oshry:photos is he's a dancer i don't know he looks very chivalrous in these photos i thought he was like a bodyguard because he's like carrying the bags he's got the sunglasses around the back of his head he means business you know sometimes you just need an extra set of hands i mean he's

41:07Jackie Oshry:carrying the groceries which is nice like that's always what you're looking for in a man he means business he's there to help okay in the original version of our gana grande's thank you next the lyric about ricky was wrote some songs about ricky now i listen and laugh i just feel like that's not

41:18Claudia Oshry:true i she said she definitely called someone trash but like maybe it was during a live performance

41:24Jackie Oshry:wrote some songs about ricky never mind he's trash i just want to get down to a lot of this i'm sorry

41:31Claudia Oshry:okay

41:35Jackie Oshry:oh yes it's a viral tiktok sound she's in an interview she said i could have said write some songs about ricky never mind he's trash but i didn't i said thank you okay i knew it was in my head for some reason that's also a mean thing to say in an interview yeah but we

41:51Claudia Oshry:need more context like why did she say that yeah where was the interview uh glamour magazine oh Oh interesting. But anyway she's obviously not offended. He's helping her out. It's not like giving romantic. It's giving like I'm helping you know my girl because she doesn't have a boyfriend right now. And like who's going to carry the groceries. You think he's hired help. Like I think he's hired like friend. I think he's really being a friend. I'm not getting romantic but I don't know why.

42:15Jackie Oshry:Why else would they be together. I don't know. She always has a boyfriend. She cannot be alone.

42:20Claudia Oshry:No she can't.

42:21Jackie Oshry:She's hella toxic. I'm sorry. Like yeah. We she's like the Lily J. like we as a society moved on from that too quickly because like Wicked really helped actually because the narrative just like became so big and different

42:34Claudia Oshry:but now it's almost like now that she's back on tours it feels like the last three years didn't even happen of like Wicked and everything but didn't she like

42:40Jackie Oshry:forsake her pop stardom yeah and she said like she was gonna like

42:43Claudia Oshry:do theater and acting and but I also said like I think that's how she felt when she was with Ethan like when you sort of like take on your man's hobbies personality and now so what she's gonna be Spongebob on Broadway Spongebobina

42:55Jackie Oshry:oh my god like sponge roberta that was so crazy that was spongy on a grande yeah so

43:04Claudia Oshry:i don't know knowing her knowing her it's romantic but like it just isn't looking romantic i think

43:09Jackie Oshry:people cared less about ricky and more about the fact that she was at a grocery store yeah it's like there's instacart and no not only that like you don't eat oh oh no people thought it was performative like i think a thing when you have an eating disorder interesting i'm not like well versus on eating disorder culture because sometimes I get like you know in that content it's like very upsetting but there's like a thing when you are anorexic like they say that being an anorexic person and going on tour and having like to show off your body and like people comment on how skinny you are like is like the most gratifying thing you can do when you're anorexic so she's like living a dream and like her going to this is what people in the ed community say her going to a grocery store like pretending to eat while wearing oh I'm all covered up in a hoodie but her collarbone is showing like it's like a flex it's also like 100 degrees yeah like you girl you don't need a

43:53Claudia Oshry:hoodie no it's upsetting the pictures are upsetting i actually can't look at her i i feel like sick yeah i don't know no are you ready for our fifth and final story if it's our fifth and final story

44:53Jackie Oshry:Actually, outshine, most of the bars are under 100 calories. This just makes it the best part. And it's also a great way to get your fruit in, you know, because fruit is hard. You got to slice, dice, peel, throw out the garment, you get all dirty. Well, actually, just have an outshine. It's made with real fruit and fruit juice. There's no peeling, slicing, or dicing. Just real fruit and fruit juice transformed into refreshing bars that taste like biting into a ripe piece of fruit. So it's outshine. It's snacking made easy. It has become a staple in the skincare routine and shout out to TikTok for introducing me to it. If you are looking for a brand to help manage your acne without drying your skin out while also doing you know anti-aging properties, Clear Stem is a great brand because when I think of Clear Stem I think of a skincare routine that protects me from acne and aging at the same time. So I would say I'm a woman of a certain age. My skincare now, like a real priority is anti-aging. And I find that when you go to other products that are more for acne, they do forget those anti-aging properties.

47:22Jackie Oshry:And that's why Clear Stem is so great. While most anti-aging products will break you out and most anti-acne products will age you, now there's Clear Stem, the first acne brand that connects internal and external skincare through supplements and topicals without the pore clogging ingredients. So Clear is more than skin deep. Clear Stem's viral TikTok bestseller, the MindBodySkin, targets hormonal acne at the root without the harsh side effects. So if you have acne on your body or your face, Clear Stem has a product for you. And I love that they combine the power of anti-aging with anti-acne because sometimes I feel like that is a trade-off for people who suffer from acne, but also prioritize anti-aging in their skincare.

49:30Claudia Oshry:domain thank you turt main also it seems as though the verdict is out in prince harry's case and it was dismissed he lost in full yeah yeah the 50 million dollar pound phone hacking case brought by prince harry oh and a couple other high profile figures against the publishers of the daily mail was dismissed in full today the judge accepted that every article complained about was lawfully sourced oh in an executive summary of his judgment he said associated newspapers which owns the Daily Mail called journalist witnesses who gave lawful explanations for the sourcing of the disputed articles and incidents.

50:07Jackie Oshry:Oh I guess Harry had thought that his like the information that they had could only be sourced if they had hacked his own but they proved that they didn't?

50:15Claudia Oshry:I guess so. Also he was suing them It's a big L on this trip. He was suing them with six fellow claimants including Elton John and Elizabeth Hurley.

50:23Jackie Oshry:Oh my god.

50:24Claudia Oshry:Yeah. I don't know what the article I guess if I looked into it it would be more interesting. Breaking news. This is crazy because I feel like this case has been following him for the last few years. And he's always going to London for his case. And it's a case in the case.

50:35Jackie Oshry:And all of that just to lose.

50:37Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

50:38Jackie Oshry:Expensive. They really can't afford it. Yeah. Interesting. They can't afford to be taking on frivolous lawsuits.

50:43Claudia Oshry:Yeah. Our fifth and final story was some exciting food news. Girl Scout cookies are coming to Krispy Kreme in a dream collaboration between... Well, think about Krispy Kreme.

50:51Jackie Oshry:They're always qualifying for the fifth and final story.

50:53Claudia Oshry:Girl Scouts and Krispy Kreme donuts. Yeah, a fun fact about... Look at those pargy thin mint donuts.

50:58Jackie Oshry:A fun fact about me, just like, I think given the fact that I love stacking. Don't say it. I don't really mess with Girl Scout. That's disgusting. I know. I don't know why. I didn't grow up eating them. I tasted like a couple. They don't really do it for me. They're not like savory. They feel kind of healthy. They're so good. I don't really mess. Like this genuinely does nothing for me.

51:18Claudia Oshry:I like the Thin Mints, of course, because I like, you know, like a mint chocolate.

51:22Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

51:22Claudia Oshry:Which you don't. I know you love a York patty. I do. I got those little mint chocolate balls at HomeGoods yesterday. and the Samoas are so good. I love a coconut.

51:31Jackie Oshry:Ugh. Like, seriously, just fun fact about me, I'm like a cookie connoisseur. I love snacks. I literally never turned down a cookie. I've never actually, like, sought one out. And I've eaten maybe a couple in my life. It's always because, I feel like I was actually recently at the Taylor's, and they had them in their pantry. Like, I've never sought one out.

51:46Claudia Oshry:Yeah, and I don't know, aside from people, like, coming to your door and selling them. Right, which, have they? No. Yeah, no, this... well beginning on Tuesday today the donut chain is introducing these limited edition collection inspired by three iconic Girl Scout flavors so we have the Thin Mints we have the Caramel Delights or Samoas and we have Lemon Ups which I'll skip I really respect that like the marketing and the

52:11Jackie Oshry:partnerships department at Krispy Kreme like takes no days off they're always doing stuff always making waves in the food news industry always qualifying themselves for the fifth and final story on a slow summer day yeah and I really respect that they don't just rest on their laurels

52:23Claudia Oshry:like of course they have a perfect product but it's like we're always talking about people like

52:26Jackie Oshry:who aren't doing good at their jobs. Like the agency that was hired for HBO Max to turn into Max to turn back into HBO Max. We don't talk enough about the brand partnerships team over at Krispy Kreme because like they're crushing it. Yeah. Race. Let's talk about Love Island. Last night's episode was like definitely the worst of the season in the sense that like really nothing happened. Yeah, not in the sense of like

52:44Claudia Oshry:people were, you know, enraging, which they were,

52:46Jackie Oshry:but it was bad in the sense that it was boring.

52:48Claudia Oshry:The scavenger hunt was so stupid. It was not even, I wouldn't even want an email. Like it's an episode that shouldn't have been an episode.

52:55Jackie Oshry:Yeah, and I guess the only real,

52:56Claudia Oshry:like god forbid okay so they have this day that they need to fill where they're not having a recoupling right there's not a real challenge why not send two people on a date and literally

53:04Jackie Oshry:anything else the hideaway could open like anything i guess like the big story of the episode is that kenzie and dylan are now on the rocks and i will say like i've been critical of kenzie because she didn't move perfectly in in the house and at some point like she just started like acting slutty for no reason but the way like we're having this referendum on kenzie everyone in the house to talk about it while like literally she's doing exactly what sincere did in a more earnest way she never lied except she kissed corbin in secret one time that everybody can't let go she's just i don't know she came at it from a place of like genuine exploration whereas we're letting sincere sit here like they're fully back together you have to make you my fiance when he said you're gonna be the mother of my children i'm sorry i now officially dislike melanie i have given her up until this point like a lot of leeway in her poor decision making because I do believe she's like a victim of sincere craziness but at some point the show was so frustrating because never not once has anyone here and that's why I actually respect Casey because like while he didn't move perfectly he always stands up for himself like no one is standing up for himself Kenzie's like getting like like really her character being called into question so deeply and so frequently by everyone by her partner by the girls by the guys and it's like stand up for yourself like just defend yourself nobody stands up for themselves it's like irritating so I'm over here like defending you and like you're not even defending yourself

54:17Claudia Oshry:No, and it's like, I disagree with what Kenzie has done, but I more so disagree with what Sincere has done. If we're not criticizing Sincere, and the villa's not criticizing him, and his partner's not criticizing him, then we can't criticize Kenzie because she's done what he's done on a much smaller scale. So if Sincere is absolved, then everybody is absolved.

54:38Jackie Oshry:Even like with Peta. The thing is, Dylan has every right, though, to feel the way that he, like he's in a partnership with a girl who he just found out, like has this kind of weird pattern, and he might just be another cog in the machine.

54:46Claudia Oshry:I'm not having an issue with Dylan raising his concerns. Me neither.

54:48Jackie Oshry:But at some point, like, he does have to get over it.

54:50Claudia Oshry:No, get over it or don't. And don't trust her and move on. But like, Kata.

54:53Jackie Oshry:I'm actually starting to feel bad for her. Like, she's just, she's obviously in hell. She wants to go home. You can tell she's really not having fun. And like.

54:59Claudia Oshry:No, and she is getting shit on constantly. Yeah. And it's like. I think we need to. We need to shit on her. Yes. And that's it. Like, not constantly. Not every single day. Making her feel like the worst person. She's always in the bottom. Let's talk about it. And then let's move on. Yeah. Especially if we're not having that same energy for everyone.

55:14Jackie Oshry:It's insane the level of criticism and we're looking so deeply into everything Kenzie has done. Is this a pattern when there's an actual like register fucking sociopath?

55:22Claudia Oshry:Here's what's crazy that Kate is flipping out that they're in the bottom and she's like, how are KC and TT not in the bottom? Like, how are they higher than us? And it's like, you're so mad at KC. Why are you not mad at Sincere? Why are you not saying how are Sincere and Melody? She did say that.

55:33Jackie Oshry:She did say it, but she didn't harp on it.

55:35Claudia Oshry:She's raging about KC. Yeah, it's interesting how like the audience feedback is making everyone go crazy.

55:41Jackie Oshry:And I guess it is like very disconcerting that like you're having this whole experience and like, you know, in the back of your mind, everyone's watching, it's going to have their opinions.

55:47Claudia Oshry:Like does the whole country hate me?

55:49Jackie Oshry:Now you get faced with that possibility. I think Kenzie's really taking it to heart.

55:52Claudia Oshry:For Ken, for Kada, it's two options. Either like America hates her and like you're going home to being like the most hated person in America. Or we're seeing something about Zach that she doesn't see. And so it's destabilizing to think that there's even more that she doesn't know. But what's so crazy is like Bryce, when he spoke to Zach, really touched on exactly what our issue is with Zach.

56:11Jackie Oshry:TT told Kata, by the way, I think people don't like you because Zach went to the hideaway with you and then said he wanted to keep exploring. And she was like, oh, really?

56:17Claudia Oshry:I don't think that's it. Yeah, no, and then Kata totally brushed it aside. But when Zach was like, should I close off with Kata? But not be a girlfriend, but be exclusive. No, but then Bryce was like, what do you mean close off? The experience is over. That's a moot point. Yeah, it's a performative gesture. Yeah, and he's like, so do something more serious. Would you ever make her your girlfriend? He's like, well, that's a big step. Why? What do you mean this girl's your girlfriend? What is exclusively dating if not being boyfriend or girlfriend? That conversation, while we see he's trying to like repair how we think of him and like insist that he has strong feelings for Kata, that conversation sets him back.

56:47Claudia Oshry:It did more damage. Once again, because it's the same thing. And then he finally has a conversation with Kata and it's like, I want to be exclusively dating. And it's like, again, no, too little, too late. And now we hate you even more.

56:58Jackie Oshry:But she's so excited. Like, sorry, this is what I mean. No one like demands more from their partners. All the girls. I'm sorry. Nobody demands anything. And it's like, they're all such big fucking talkers. Like, I can't even deal with them. Even Kata was like, I'm going to make Zach my, it's like, girl, you're not. I would have had more respect for Zach if he said,

57:13Claudia Oshry:I'm not closing off or getting official in the villa because I want to do it in real life. And I don't want to do it in the villa. It's not as serious. He could have had a reason for never doing it in the villa. But he wanted to do a big gesture just to curry favor with America. But he didn't want to actually do anything. How stupid are you that you're going to do it right after the vote? How stupid do you think we are? We see right through you. A thousand percent. That's so embarrassing to do it right after because you were voted in the bottom.

57:37Jackie Oshry:But Kata was literally going to cry. She was so happy. Like, I'm just really done, like, wanting more for these girls than they want for themselves. Like, they want to be treated like doormats. They all talk so big. Like, the villa's going to shake. Kada said something last night. Like, when I talk to Zach, I'm going to talk. Girl, you literally, like, they all just fold, like, what is that phrase? Like a cheap suit. I love that. They fold like cheap suits. I'm sorry, I'm not going to demand more of you. Like, sorry, these girls, girls. Like, I'm sorry, none of these are my queens right there.

58:03Jackie Oshry:These are not good role models for women.

58:05Claudia Oshry:Also, Anaya still likes Casey. Oh, yeah. during the challenge that she chose KC that she went to KC to have him look for her sunglasses like it's actually very very sad so the scavenger hunt was stupid

58:15Jackie Oshry:but there were a couple of things that we should and could look into and that was one of them

58:18Claudia Oshry:yeah and when we're talking about couples who aren't compatible not only are Karlyn and I not compatible because they're not compatible and she didn't choose him when she had the chance to she didn't choose him he never should have been brought back and like he's obviously like mad at her and who wouldn't be butthurt about not being chosen and he never even like made her work for forgiveness or anything

58:34Jackie Oshry:he didn't even talk about it

58:34Claudia Oshry:he's just like moving on because he just like wants to be there

58:37Jackie Oshry:he wants to be on the show it's a red flag actually how chill he is yeah but they're not

58:41Claudia Oshry:compatible because she still likes Casey and that's what people should be saying I love that

58:45Jackie Oshry:TT and Casey like we're so surprised that they were not in the bottom and at the end of the day they're like that's great but like we don't care like I think that they are like they're my winners sorry of course no Bryce and Trinity are great I really have no problem with them and I'm glad

58:57Claudia Oshry:that like even though I disagree with my fellow voters and the Love Island viewers like I think They will win and they should. We all agree that Brinity is the winner.

59:06Jackie Oshry:They're so nonpartisan.

59:07Claudia Oshry:Thankfully, because I can't deal with another undeserving winner.

59:09Jackie Oshry:No, I could see people thinking that Anaya and Carl should win and they absolutely should not. You guys have Anaya? Nobody else deserves to win, but honestly, if Casey and Titi, everyone's going to think this is the craziest thing. They aren't going to beat Bryce and Trinity because Bryce and Trinity are just a better couple and they've had a better track record. But I'm sorry, they're the Clark and Taylor who are still together, mind you, from last season. they are the Clark and Taylor of the season I'm glad that people have sort of let up on them yeah I feel like let up on I know I feel like America's learned a little bit from that situation

59:39Claudia Oshry:because when it was Clark and Taylor they would have been voted in the bottom and this time they

59:43Jackie Oshry:weren't every now and then someone leaves their partner from someone from casa and there's really no good way to do it and even if there was a girls in the villa would find a way to like defend their friend and hate the guy so it's like just you might as well choose what makes you happy and that is what Casey did and again he wasn't perfect and yada yada but I'm sorry him and Titi are so

1:00:00Claudia Oshry:cute yeah I've moved on from a couple of disrespectful comments and so has Anaya by the way so like well yeah because she likes him she loves him she wants yeah right um such a boring episode a complete waste of time and brain cells yeah it was like frustrating to feel like my life

1:00:15Jackie Oshry:was being wasted on this episode that's how I felt yeah and they didn't even give us a preview for

1:00:18Claudia Oshry:tonight yet did they they just said like there's going to be a vote coming vote is brewing yeah meanwhile Ian Sterling like stays cracking me up we don't even talk about how like he gets the episodes like probably the day before they have music already set to them and he just has to like add over his voiceover and he's like writing those jokes on the fly he is insanely talented he is i

1:00:36Jackie Oshry:think shit like that is so corny usually and when i first started watching love island i was getting like getting ready to skip the way it's so funny it's very quick it's very sharp it's very clever it's like mean without it's funny without being mean and it like he has like a general understanding

1:00:51Claudia Oshry:of like what the audience yes feelings are like a voice a little bit to how we feel i love I love him. He's insanely talented. Yeah. That's my king right there. That's the only nice thing I have to say about the show. Yeah.

1:01:05Jackie Oshry:All right. Well, that's your Love Island recap. That's your episode tomorrow. We're back. Reminder to your toasters has been moved to Thursday.
