45I felt invigorated. I could have kept going and going. I don't even know how long the interview was. It was like over an hour and I knew I had to end it, but I wasn't done. She won't be done for quite some time. This is like years worth of pent up conversations and questions. I'm glad. And I just could ask the person anything I wanted. How freeing is it? At any time. And I asked some really crazy questions. That's what you can come to expect from Jackie Owen Friends. The maternity leave special. What I also realized about the guests that I've chosen, because I'm like the interview from yesterday I'm like so up this person's butt like literally up there like hey look at me coming out their mouth and that's the kind of energy you can expect because I really chose to only book podcast with people who I either I'm friends with who I really like or I really admire and want to meet so it's not like I'm just up anyone's butt just know like these are a select few people who I really love I wouldn't just be like that for anyone yeah yeah well I'm glad that you're kind of like having your fangirl moment I feel like people who have hundreds of guests like if you're up every guest but you can't be up hundreds of butts and it gets old quickly like you're not obsessed with everyone at some point like a guest is a guest and then i'm not saying that's like always like my interviewing style but so many of the people that i've chosen to have on are just people that i'm really obsessed with and i follow them as a fan too so you will find me up there but you will and you know where else you will find around the corner do you know where you will find me at choptoesmerch.com tomorrow at 10 a.m eastern time now jackie and i are headed usually we like to wear our merch on the show to promote the job like we are headed to just like fancy business meetings all week long we haven't been able to like you know wear our merch because it's not like appropriate where we're going um but just even though it is chanel and i do think like the restaurant that we're going to does like it's more like of chanel leisure line and not appropriate for our business working lunch yeah it's the resort collection from chanel yeah so tomorrow eastern time we have a spring merch collection you can check out our Instagram for all the pieces our iconic t-shirts that everybody's obsessed with we are bringing them back in three new designs we have crew necks we have sweatshirts we have phone cases we have hats we have tote bags um and so it'll be 10 a.m eastern time tomorrow you're not gonna want to miss it you're really not no don't you dare and then I'm sure it's a story so like I won't really get into it about Kylie and Timothy but last night was the Knicks game last night was the Knicks game it kind of took over the city this was like the first Knicks game that I've been in the city for and it's electric now it's electric and everything I was just like very aware that the Knicks game is on.
03Like I came home and Zach watching the Knicks game. And then I know he wanted to go over to your place because Ben was having the Brunson boys over. The Brunson boys did watch the game together. My husband went. I don't know if you know. I didn't know that. And I said like, was there like some sort of ceremony inducting Zach into the Brunson boy hall of fame? And Benson knows like very chill. The Brunson boys are very low key, you know? They don't like to make a big deal of stuff. But they're not exclusive. I didn't ask him how the dynamics were. Like if he felt as the only one who wasn't a Brunson.
28Because I asked him, I was like, by the way he was going to Ben's and he was like the Brunson boys yeah and it was literally the four of them yeah so maybe he was an honorary Brunson boy for the evening yeah yeah he's also a Mavericks fan so of course he can't be a Brunson boy but last night he was a Knicks fan and it was a great game the Knicks won the city was alive every celebrity on the planet was at the Knicks game I was like honestly except for us I never up until this point every time me and Ben watched together I'm like seriously so happy for the people there I'm like I'm so happy to be in my bed I have no qualms but last night I was like I should be there well sitting with your arm around me because of story number two because of story number two obviously kylie and timothy but like kendall was there like literally every celebrity on the planet like we think we're new york socialites well i do and i'm not at the knicks game no and i don't think anyone invited us to their suite but we also didn't check yeah but also like it doesn't matter like i should have been there in some way yeah i'm kind of like a new york like seriously like a staple of new york city and you know who else we should have reached out to like game time totally you know like game time app maybe that's sponsors.
27I know we're just so lazy. Our presents could be guaranteed. But there's another game. There's another game this week. In Boston, no? Oh. Yes, you're right. I think I'll go to Boston. Okay, vibrato. I think I'll start a new life. Get out of California where nobody knows my name. Oh yeah, I think I'll go to Boston. Yesterday, you weren't there. Do you think Kylie and Timothy will go to Boston? No. Do you think Margot Washtray will go to Boston? Because she loves an impromptu trip to Boston. So you weren't there last night because me, Ben, and Zach were like with your boys while you were. Mommy was working.
08Mommy was working doing your interview. And oh my God, we were being so funny. So like when Zach was leaving with the boys, we had like a little sing session. You know, Zach is like very musical. Yeah. And Ben loves like old timey, like nostalgic songs. So we did like an actual like three man band interpretation of out of the box. You know, like that song, so long, farewell. The boys were loving it. From The Sound of Music? So long, farewell. No, no, no, no. You're seriously a grandma. Like, I can't with you. No. Out of the box. Like, the Disney Channel, like, short program. It was, you don't know this?
42So long, farewell to you, my friend. The time has come until we meet again. And then, like, it's a guy and a gal, and the guy, like, plays the drums. and it's like very, it's like children's entertainment. You don't know it. No, it does sound familiar. Zach knew it. Of course. Every person our age knows it. I can't believe you're not familiar. And we did like a real, like everybody had a part, you know, like Ben was on the drums. Zach was doing like, you know, it was so funny. I was cracking up and I'm telling you, the boys loved it. So if they asked for out of the box song, that's what they're talking about.
16Okay, good to know. Every song has a code name. Yeah, right. And they were like staring at us. They like wanted to leave so bad. And we were standing by the door and we're like, out of the box. I'm sure they didn't want to leave I'm sure they had a great time at coger we had a big night at coger's we made burgers we had so much fun we did bath time oh my god being on my knees in the bath time I was not okay what you think no no bath time is like a better idea in theory yeah no Zach like at home that's Zach's responsibility it's not a pregnant person's job whatever it falls to me like it's not my favorite one no I think I'll be the type of parent with their children is that gross like no but like eventually they do get too big and they're so dirty like but when their baby yeah in the baby stage like that's so nice yeah but eventually like it's just not once in a while actually it's a nice treat but for every day it's not the vibe you need a better system I think it's a lot of times the husband's job because it's very physical it's back and that works for us like when I was so sad to see them go obviously like when Zach left I was devastated did.
18When I tell you I didn't get out of bed for five hours I was not okay. No they'll take everything out of you. Everything. It's so crazy. Everything. They have so much energy. Yeah it's kind of exhausting. I know but you work your way up to it. Yeah right right. Like my tolerance is high now because it's like every day was a little bit more a little bit more for the last few years but you can't just like wake up one day and have like two toddlers running around. A thousand percent. We do have like a lot to do today. It's Tuesday. There are lots of stories and there's year toasters they are so crazy okay and one of them is about us i love when this happens cool like the toast either helping or like hurting someone's life and like how to navigate that okay well let's get into it shall we so now without further ado dot do dot do it is time for the fast five stories that you dot do need to know and the fast five stories that you dot do need to know are brought to you by hulu and the secret lives of mormon wives so the wait for more episodes of the secret lives of mormon wives is almost over it's coming back to hulu with an all new season on May 15th, which is literally two days away.
17We finally get to find out what's going on with our favorite saints and sinners. Come ye saints and come ye sinners. The commercials have been like really gassing. You know what he's saying in that? Hallelujah. That's what he's saying. Okay. So Taylor and Dakota, are they still together? Jen and Zach, have they worked through like their major issues? There's a lot of drama that's going on with Demi and Jesse. It's happening like actively on social media now too. um so it's a tangled web of jealousy exes and drama we cannot wait to binge watch it's gonna be pure insanity it was actually jackie and i's one of our top five shows from the year 2024 it's such a good show they're just like they're good reality stars yeah and there's so much that goes on it's not that hard so much that goes on um outside on social media too so like once you're done with it you can like follow them it's like a whole world and it keeps you updated even when the show isn't on and then when it comes back for season two you're just so excited like we are and maybe we should watch in my theater yes and i do hope that this season answers the question like finally we'll put it to bed like will mom talk survive this i think at this point it's a safe bet yeah they're kind of like a cockroach like they can survive anything and with the show at stake like right mom talk will don't miss the new season of the secret lives of mormon wives coming to hulu on may 15th today's episode is also brought to you by true fruit jackie and i are like we've been true for ambassadors before we were being paid to be true for ambassadors we are obsessed it is the most delicious sweet treat on the planet and as of may 4th target now has all the true fruit flavors in the freezer aisle.
42So as you know, the girlies in the true fruit office are huge toasters and they wanted us to tell you that true fruit is now available in all their flavors at Target. Sometimes like you go to a grocery store and they have the one that you like or the one maybe like not your number one fave and it's hard to find all the flavors. Well, starting this month, all the true fruit flavors will be available in the Target freezer aisle. So they get asked all the time, like where to find specific flavors. This is really perfect for all the true fruit stands and the Target stands. If you haven't tried true fruit, but you shop at Target all the time, like head over to the freezer aisle.
08Your life will seriously never be the same. And if you're obsessed with true fruit and you never know where to get the flavors, now you can get them at Target. And if you don't know what true fruit is, they take a perfectly ripe fruit. They coat it in insanely delicious dark and milk chocolate, and then they flash freeze it to lock in all the goodness. There's no artificial flavors, no weird stuff, just real fruit. It's a snack that I discovered when I was being really healthy. And it's one that obviously now I'm like not prioritizing, you know, the calorie deficit, and I still eat it. It's like a good snack, no matter what era of like diet you're in.
38perfect post-dinner treat perfect midday pick-me-up you can find all the flavors of true fruit in target at the freezer aisle and actually to thank miss jacqueline foley added to the list of things i you know for i don't like sometimes don't believe fruit belongs in dessert and true fruit is out here negating that belief for me and jackie was the one who introduced me to it she keeps the raspberries at her house raspberries my favorite 100 same same today's episode is also brought to you by skylight say goodbye to sticky notes and calendar confusion with skylight the Skylight Calendar is here to help your family stay organized.

38Brilliant look. And the calendar couldn't be bigger. Right, 15 inches. Color-coded per child. Our first story, that was going to be our second story, but it's our first story because I know we really want to talk about it, which is the Knicks game last night. Kylie Jenner and Timothy cozy up at the Knicks game after their first red carpet debut. So we know Timothy is a big Knicks fan. They played at MSG last night, so his lady love Kylie supported him courtside. With Kendall. With Kendall. I was shocked to see Kendall. And there's so much to discuss. But one of the connections we really haven't spoken about is the Jordan Woods of it all.
10So I've told you guys, and I know everybody's like, dirty, broken record. And I'm so glad I've said it so many times. Because I'm sure the toasters understood. If you've been paying attention, then none of this was surprising to you when you saw the video. Jordan Woods' man is a really good Knicks player. His name is Carl Anthony Towns. He had a great game last night. And Jordan's been at every game. She's so waggalicious. She, like, wears such cute outfits. She sits courtside, even though, like, a lot of the wags don't. and she was sitting in the same row as Kylie, not with Kylie, but like probably like five or six seats down.
35And they were like interacting with one another, but it was probably just like such a fun night for Kylie. Yeah, for sure. Because they won. Her man was so happy. She's with her man. She's with her sister. And then look, her bestie's there. Her bestie's man is having a good night. Yes. Like except he's not on the court. It's giving girl gang. Except not to nitpick. Don't nitpick. Why was Timothy sitting in between Kylie and Kendall? That's really interesting. Isn't that weird? so perhaps Kylie has a side and she knew she'd be looking at Timothy all night and like the pictures and she and she wanted her left side to be her dominant side because let me tell you those photos she looked insanely gorgeous well yeah when you're that insanely gorgeous like I really don't think you have to like fear a side no Jackie everyone has their things but even on the red carpet she was on the other side of him and she did want to be looking to her
23right then she could have sat in the middle Timothy here Kylie Kendall there yeah I just think that's like a little random like if i went to the game with you and ben i want to sit next to my sister yeah yeah i mean they have been together for a long time so like they'll probably knows timmy pretty well it's it's an interesting point but also maybe it had to do with like the view of the game and no one else oh no one else was next to kylie technically kylie's seat was the best because like she's on the aisle so there's only one person next to the hoop right those court side seats are fucking tiny like you're literally asses on top of asses so for Kylie to only be sitting next to one person it's the best seat because she has the biggest butt you mean well no just because like it's uncomfortable I'm kidding who knows it's an interesting point you make but not to nick pick but also not to nick pick either look they're talking behind his back like it's just not conducive Kylie definitely wanted to wanted to sit on the aisle like some like me and Ben fight over the aisle the aisle's the best seat yeah I guess I don't know it's just really inconvenient also i found it interesting because like so many celebrities were at this game that there are only so many courtside seats right and then there are like people who actually pay like regular people yeah who are just rich who have season tickets courtside right so there are only so many seats to go around like kylie's weren't amazing she was behind the basket which is not it is courtside it's not like a 50 yard line right your feet are on the wood it's courtside but like when you think courtside you think the sides not behind the basket so i thought it was interesting that they didn't have like the best seats but like the ogs like spike lee tracy morgan like they get yeah mariska hargitay has been at like every single game and she also gets booted to behind the the basket but still it's it's good it's fine i'm just glad that they were able to procure courtside seats considering they are so desirable yes and for nonetheless and i i don't know when they made the decision to go who was the fourth kendall brought a friend oh that maybe also impacted the seating arrangements oh i see so long i see they made it really seem like they were a trio yeah no they totally cut the other guy out but um there was another person there i'm cracking up it's like the trio arrived in right but they did arrive separately well kendall i mean kylie and timothy first and everyone saw that video and then i saw the video of kendall i'm like oh maybe she's there with someone else like i didn't think that they were going together kylie and kendall like they don't do a lot publicly together yeah well you know that's like kendall hates that right because kylie's ashamed of her yeah that like kylie doesn't hang out with her more sounds like kendall is a chip she should come on the toes and talk about it.
53For sure. Yeah. So fun night in New York. I love when things happen in New York. Like it's so fun. And that means probably like Kylie's here still. Yeah. Yeah. Probably. Kylie doesn't stay in one place for long though. No. But I think she has a place here. Do you think that that well Timothy definitely does. I think she does. I think that's like we learned that a while ago. Do you think they went from the David Awards in Rome straight to New York or think they've been back to LA? No because I saw another headline of her in the ocean. She had a mother's day getaway maybe they went to florida i don't know where they went maybe like turks and caicos they like love it here let's see what they went on a tropical getaway oh to be so in turks and caicos good guess to be so wealthy beautiful and young like you would almost hate her like if she wasn't so fabulous you know yeah well she's doing it right she has her own plate she's doing it right sick why didn't these pictures get more well that's the other thing that i was Because then the Knicks came.
52I'm sure if the Knicks didn't happen, then like this would get more. Kylie looked so insane last night. Like not even in like a dramatic way. She didn't look super glamour. She was just wearing like a black tank top and jeans and her hair was down. She looked like such a bombshell. And it was actually really nice to see someone who's like done having kids looking the best they've looked yet. You know, it's inspiring. I know she's actually 17. But like she's had her kids, you know, like. She's not done. Don't say that, Claudia. But I'm saying you don't like envision that you're going to look the best you've ever looked after you've had one or two kids.
21That's the plan. Well, that's the plan for me as well. That's the plan. That better be. Like, I don't think I've ever seen Kylie look better. I agree. And she's been looking this way. And she's so young, so, like, we can't compare, because, like, she had kids at, like, what, 21? But still, it was inspiring, nonetheless. But she's not done. Don't say that. I didn't say done. I'm waiting for Kimmy. I didn't say done, but, like, she's, like, if it's possible that, like, these are all the kids that she has. But she said a lot of times she wants a really big family with Timothee Chalamet. It's possible.
47And that she wants to have Timothee's babies. I'm having his baby That's a direct quote No I'm not And I'm sure she's just like Soaking up all this awesomeness Like before she does Fall pregnant with Timothy's baby I wonder if she Like likes all the attention She's so weird with like fame And her own celebrity And her and Timothy Like people are obsessed with And I think to a point Where they weren't with her In her previous relationships Like Travis and Tyga I wonder how she feels About the public perception Because she does have a very complicated relationship with like people talking about her she like loves to be famous but hates it i think at the beginning it was probably harder i think people talked more shit about her in the beginning and now like everyone's been silenced so it's probably fun today but i think like the last year or two years were harder people probably saying like mean stuff that i would never say or even think but i could imagine what a mean person would say about this yeah i can't even imagine now they've all been silenced because i'm not mean the power of timothy's love has silenced them like are they gonna get married no they're gonna have babies yeah Kylie's not um she's not traditional like that yeah and she's too wealthy yeah I don't think she has great aspirations for like you know a big fairy tale white wedding that's so not her it's just too complicated yeah watch they're married ah anyways really cute no they don't the only thing is they don't act like a married couple like every time you say they've been together for two years it shocks me because they really act like a couple in high school yeah like they like each other so much they're like always on top of each other and it's like married people don't act like that and they've actually been spouted out at so many things like that are hours long things where we never got one miserable looking not one like well not one wimbledon bradley cooper irena shake yeah shocking yeah are you ready for our next story it's not gonna last what the relationship because they're not miserable enough maybe not yet you know i'm ready for our next story yes i just want to warn you it seems like you have some lipstick on the back of your iPad and if you put the iPad on your white pants it's going to transfer.
46The lipstick has been here since my last New York trip. Oh so it's not going to transfer on your pants? No it's like it's part of the. Oh great great. I could probably use a certain type of wipe and get it off like a magic eraser. I was just looking out for your pants. Thank you to my children. We have a business meeting so like you can't show up with like crap on your pants. No no no this has been here for two months now so I don't think today's the day it's going to choose to come off. Great. Our next story Kim Kardashian testifies she thought she'd be raped during her Paris robbery and fears that her sister Courtney would find her shot dead so Kim took the stand to testify nearly nine years after she was robbed of millions of dollars of jewelry in Paris we had reported that the trial was starting and now Kim testified in court on Monday that she feared she would be raped and fatally shot during the burglary she said he grabs my legs and pulls me I'm naked and my everything is exposed I was sure that I was going to be raped I absolutely thought I was gonna die she said when she replied to the judge's question about whether she feared for her life to me every time we talk about this robbery it's such an indicator of how quickly time moves because you saying this was nine years ago like i remember where i was when i found out you know and were we not doing the toast during this robbery i guess not like for eight years yeah so then no damn yeah i can't by the way and i know they say like the wheels of justice turn slow like this is unacceptable this is incredibly slow but i think it's a while to like track everyone down there were a lot of people involved so she showed up at the courthouse like looking seriously insane like best she's ever looked like audrey hepburn hair big diamond necklace which obviously was some sort of metaphor um chris was there supporting wearing like a fuck-ass bob um everybody looks great kim looked amazing it's one of my favorite kim looks and is this like a new is this her new stylist at work because honestly i like what i'm seeing i like what i'm seeing too but i do think like courthouse glam is a very specific lane and it when done right like it always looks good yeah no the bodysuit was bodysuiting the necklace was sick the hair but that's still Chris like and the glam and the sunglasses um I'm not gonna say like this like the stylist like did well on this but it bodes well for their future like an easy um lay up an easy ask yeah but I really do think that she looks great I'm sure this is like really crazy for her and she's putting on a very brave face like acting like I don't give a fuck and here's all my diamonds again I do feel like she's healed from it like I think it took her a really long time um and i think if had this trial been like years ago it would have been traumatizing and now i feel like it's like she feels powerful in in speaking against it like because there was a period of time like she was asked about it like years later the david letterman thing and she still cries when she talks about of course it's so traumatizing but she's like a very tough person as she says calmness is her superpower so i think now she is fully healed from it yeah probably i don't think this is re-traumatizing her no but i think it probably manifests itself like we saw in the season how she's almost like numb to life yeah because of her calmness like it doesn't manifest herself in her crying all the time about it and like being afraid but it does show up and it has like affected her long term i like like that's like like every person's worst nightmare yeah it's so crazy it's so crazy what was his name pascal that was the bodyguard at the time there was so much drama around that like yeah yeah you have to be there for the pascal of it all yeah very very crazy and harouche right yeah her stylist yeah it was like in the apartment building yeah was there with her yeah and courtney and kendall were at the club were at the club with pascal yeah she just went back and then the concierge of course yeah innocent victim in all of this innocent bystander they say oh you think he was a conspirator i don't know anything about it like seriously seriously i don't know um so the trial is ongoing and i look forward to justice being served speaking of some trial news the diddy trial is going on in new york right now it's a lot of like big trials and i feel like the diddy one's kind of like slipping everyone's talking about karen reed i'm seeing a lot of diddy i've seen this headline all day yesterday so a lot of testimony came out yesterday a lot of like gruesome details from witnesses and one thing that um has really shocked people that's why like i think there's like people tune into the camera trial every day it's in massachusetts and i guess the law is that you can have cameras there so like court tv you know law and order youtube i hope you feel good knowing that like i have not seen anything about the camera trial i have seen a lot of things about the ditty trial good i do wish we could watch it like i think that always gets more people his family was there one of his daughters had to like walk out at a certain point because it was like too graphic yikes yeah so one One allegation is that he allegedly forced an escort to perform a disgusting act on Cassie Ventura as she choked.
27And so that act was peeing in her mouth. This is just one of the flames. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I didn't see that. Yeah, it's just really. And then I also saw that Cassie is set to testify maybe even today. That's so crazy. Yeah. Like if this was being filmed. Oh, my God. Yeah. And there is a girl on TikTok who I follow who is like a court reporter. Not a court reporter. Something. so she's in the court how what are words yeah sure in the room yeah like yeah court room yeah court room she's there and then she like comes in like you know reiterates what she said like that's the closest we get but like it's not being televised is first of all the best thing to ever happen to diddy yeah because it's it's not blowing up as much as you know amber heard versus johnny depp where everybody was tuning in every day lunchtime let's go that's true that is fucking fucking disgusting i feel like actually sick yeah so um the assistant u.s attorney told the 12 person jury that cat cassie first agreed to participate in his now infamous freak offs to make him happy but the romps allegedly became violent over time with him beating his then girlfriend if she left earlier took too long in the bathroom during one particular incident he told a prostitute to urinate in her mouth which led to her feeling like she was choking the prosecutor claimed however i can't even begin to explain what is so fucked up about having a prostitute pee in your mouth like the obvious pee is gross right where has this prostitute been where did she come from i seriously i'm choking and it really makes you think because who can even come up with something so disgusting it's like if i was having a freaky party and i wanted the freakiest thing i could think of never in my life would i think to hire a prostitute to have her pee in the mouth of my girlfriend like no and it's just like fucking disgusting one small anecdote from like years of this and it's not like he's on he's being like accused of making someone pee in someone's mouth like this is it this is just an anecdote this is just like a crumb it's so disgusting it's so disgusting the details are really really graphic from the trial which i think everyone expected that they would be when it oh you know what i actually feel like vomiting sex trafficking no and it's like i'm waiting i'm having like jeffrey epstein ptsd where like jeffrey epstein got arrested and we were all like okay we are finally gonna find out like who all the pedophiles in hollywood are and it never happened but his defense team is arguing that like yes he has a bad temper and a history of violence but they argued that he's simply not guilty of sex trafficking that domestic violence is not sex trafficking because that's what he's on the stand for so right like having a prostitute pee in your girlfriend's mouth is that sex uh human trafficking Sex trafficking?
04No, no. That would have been like domestic violence. Right. Sexual assault. And you're telling me there's not a charge for domestic violence? Or maybe the statute of limitations has run out? Yeah, because then that would be like Cassie v. Diddy. And this is like the state v. Diddy. Yeah, for sex trafficking. Yeah. So, but all of this, like, we'll get, like, I'm sure there's, we'll get to the trafficking. Right, right. We're just like setting the scene. Right. Right. if there is alleged trafficking just to say yeah if there is which which there is are you ready for our fourth story the fourth story i am morgan wallen reveals the real reason behind his abrupt snl exit and it's not titillating whatsoever no not even close morgan wallen has broken his silence on why he made his abrupt exit out of the snl get me to god's country when he went on sunday conversation with host caleb presley and he asked him seriously snl did they make you mad he said no no i was just ready to go home okay the show itself if you guys haven't seen it's it's formerly a barstool show i believe that caleb actually recently left barstool oh no something like that um they like interview the interview style is like very dry satirical it's not like hard hitting no one ever really like shares a truth it's like parody yeah it's like it's comedy it's like between two ferns yes so exactly that's the perfect comparison so it's entirely possible that there's like a whole other story about get me to god's country um but this is the first time morgan's even like remotely addressing it he said ready to go home he said i'd been there all week right and that does to me feel answer the question of get me to god's country i feel like he wasn't calling snl cast members a bunch of godless heathens he was just like sick of new york okay which i could understand like when i'm done here get me to god's country how does that answer the walk-off i agree the what to me the instagram story was only curious because it preceded or what's the opposite of preceded coceded anteceded the walk-off the walk-off was what like led people to be like what's going on something's he's mad yeah and then we all flocked to his instagram and there was something there and he was flocking to god's country new york so i'm not convinced honestly i really don't think there's anything beyond like the obvious you know them sitting like keenan on good day new york no i'm telling you there was something there no i think it's like was nothing bigger than them being all different people he probably never like felt in play like that that was his place right and or his people and he did his job and he left and a lot of them had clowned on him over the years and the covid and whatever so he did his job he left no blow-up happened it's just like we're different i guess people really see like how detrimental it was like if morgan wallen ever performs on SNL again.
55Because everybody, even Lauren, I think everyone's maintaining, like, we're all good. Yeah. And if you are, like, the next time he has an album coming out, like, he will do SNL as a part of his promo tour. And if he does, then I'll, then I will buy this. But if he doesn't, and I don't think that he will. Nor do I think that he should. It's not a good place for him. I think that he will. And I think that he should. Wow. Yeah. What do you think about that? I think that he won't, and he shouldn't. But we'll find out. like the next time there's a 50 song album coming out right and we haven't even gotten this 50 song right no this is like a a toast um kind of like it's olivia rodrigo one hit wonder thing we'll have to check back in like seriously in two years and keeping up with sports yeah that's the list are you ready for our fifth and final story are you because it's our fifth and final story that's brought to you by little spoon oh so parents never want to sacrifice quality for convenience but so many kids food options just don't meet the mark and that's why we love little spoon they deliver healthy, ready to eat meals and snacks that your baby, toddler, or big kid will love and that you can feel good about.

Like if you do the baby blends for like real baby they have they have puffs if your kid's like starting to do solids or up until like lunches and snacks for fully grown kids like a full plate a little tv dinner right their snacks offer a wide variety of junk-free better for you alternatives um i've eaten some of them they're actually quite good yeah yeah those circles we've all been there and it's so true time we're like the bread baskets not cutting it um it all comes right to your door it's flexible it's easy and everything stores right in the fridge in the freezer you pick up the menu change up whatever you want every time the price is right.

43But like this year. In general. Okay. Like circumstances not with standing. Like yes I would like to see Sam Hunt in concert. I think like a nice outdoor venue with like a margarita. As long as I'm not pregnant. PNC. Yeah. Like an amphitheater. I could fuck shit up. I saw him at PNC once. I don't think though that like I could like look him in the eyes. You don't want to go backstage. No. No. Please don't invite me. Like I actually can. I feel weird. That's fair. Yeah. Don't worry. They're not inviting us. Yeah. our fifth and final story it's 11 11 by the way make a wish i wish like happiness for happiness like this forever i've made my wish thank you my wish for you is that this life becomes all that you want it to the final story more musical news oh i think this will just have to sing wicked live musical special starring ariana grande said the arrivo set for this fall on mbc a live musical tv special featuring wicked movie stars cynthia and ari singing songs from the universal pictures film is set to air on nbc this fall the wicked special event will take place at the peacock theater in la ahead of the november 21st release of the sequel film wicked for good the musical special will be broadcast live on nbc and stream the next day on peacock so it's around the same time as the second part of the movie is being released yeah i feel like they need to feed us like a little bit sooner because like we're gonna get nothing for a whole year and then we get like this big tv special and movie special in the same month i think we need nothing for a whole year they can't keep at this pace for the rest of the year like we definitely take off summer ramp back up in the fall it's okay we haven't forgotten about you yeah I know it's coming and Wicked Mania was so big and so fantastic that we'll be back and I just want to say I love this the last time they did a televised Wicked special I still listened to the Ariana Grande version of The Wizard and I and I loved it even though there was like a lot of performances and only the Ariana Grande one stuck with me like Idina Menzel like they kind of all stunk it up um so I need the programming to I think it will be good I think it'll be good too I love wicked like I love to hear people sing wicked especially people who are really good singers like Cindy and Ari like I'm down like another duet right hard deliciousness I mean think about how everybody like was so gooped and gagged over the Oscars yeah it'll be like that for an hour for an hour that's fun yeah I think that's a really good idea me too from all teams NBC loves a live musical special so I know they're creaming their pants it's been a while since Annie live that was the last one was it the last I don't think it was it 1000 % was because we follow every live performance.
06It's true. From casting all the way up until recording. It's true. And the last one we were gooped and gagged over was Annie Live. I know you loved it so much. So they, I don't know if that department of like, I don't know if that type of production is successful for NBC. I don't know if they make a lot of money from it. I feel like no, because they would have done one. It's been like, I want to say two or three years since Annie Live. Yeah, it has been. I'm trying to see like, maybe that whole like team at NBC like got laid off and now they're not doing those anymore it's impossible to search like what were the lives what everything is live on NBC what other plays do you feel like need to be done live they've done such good ones right they've done Peter Pan hairspray hairspray the whiz rent no they didn't do rent they did they did yeah Vanessa Hudgens.
57That's what I was thinking. Grease. Grease. Vanessa Hudgens was Grease too. Yeah. She also was Rent? Yeah, I believe so. She's a perfect person. Yeah. What other, like. Sound of Music. Honestly. Did they do Beauty and the Beast live? No. No. But they did something. They threw Josh Groban up there. And Josh Groban, yeah. We watched it. Yeah. At Olivia's house. The kids loved it. Yeah. Olivia and Michaela were obsessed. It was like an anniversary special something. Doesn't count. It wasn't live. Shania Twain was Mrs. Potts, remember? Right, right. It was not right. they should do Beauty and the Beast live.
27Yeah. I just feel like nobody wants to do live these days. Like nobody wants to work that hard. No, it's a thankless job because of course there's going to be errors and you're like, I'm watching this on TV. Why are there errors? But you just don't respect the magic of live. No, and like, yes, we could do it not live and it would be better. So like, why don't we just do that? I mean, that's called the movie. It's way less exciting. It's so low stakes. I agree. I need the live departments at these big networks to get back to work. Yeah, I think it's really good for humanity. Yeah, and it's like family friendly content.
53What about the Lion King? Yeah. Yeah. I'm gonna, I could see like Jacob Tremblay being Simba. Oh, crush it. Even though he's like literally 20 now, you know? And he doesn't sing. I feel like every kid who like acts, they also sing. Well, I feel like when you're a kid, if you sing, like you sound fine because you sound like a kid. There are no kids with bad voices. Right, they just sound like kids. Yeah. But when they're no longer kids, they're not singing anymore. They're singing it up. It's like Disney, classic Disney Channel. Let's dive into Dear Toasters, our weekly advice segment that we do every single week and specifically on Tuesdays where Jackie and I will take submissions from girlies who write into us like needing help.
26You can write into us two ways. One is our website, thetoastpodcast.com. There's a little Deer Toaster submission box or you can just shoot us an email, deertoasters at gmail.com. Both are totally anonymous. We never use names. Don't worry. Like we won't be blowing up your spot. We're just going to do our best to help and like jury's out on whether, you know, we can do that. We're about to find out. Usually we can. Hey girlies. I have a boyfriend, six months now. He's really a p-jom. He's shown me what it's like to be treated really well by a guy. While watching a show the other day, the topic of prostitutes came up and he reluctantly admitted to me that several times he has paid for sex.
Read the full transcript
57He told me this was a long time ago. Not the key job. Yeah, he told me it was a long time ago. We're in our 30s now and this was when he was in his early 20s while he was abroad in a place where this is legal. Okay. It's desperate. Am I wrong to judge him for this? Would you be okay knowing in the past that your man had been with a prostitute? I know that it's in the past but I cannot but think about if he would do that, what else has he done? And it's really giving me the ick. That is so icky. And I have to say something so crazy. Like, I wish he never told you. Yeah. I feel like ick culture, we're always talking about how like people be like, oh my God, like his shirt was green, ick.
28And this is an ick. I agree because not only does it make you think about like your own sexual health, like this is a person who's had sex with a prostitute and also with you. It also, you know, it's not every person would buy sex. So like it also is an indicator of the type of person this person is. And so I don't want to be judgmental, but like I am with you. Like this is concerning. Yeah, and I'm sure he's been tested since, and all of those issues should not be an issue 10 years later. I'm sure that part is fine. It's just weird to think about. But it's like if he's so past that chapter in his life, and it's like a regrettable thing he did when he was younger, and it has no bearing on his future, should he even have told you?
08It didn't sound like it was a regrettable thing, though. He didn't say, like, I did it, and I'm deeply ashamed. Oh. He just shared. Then you should leave him. And almost it was like, yeah, that's something I did. yeah like everyone just said it was like a long time ago like whatever i feel like probably a lot of people do this and then they just don't tell their partner and i ask you a question because what do we consider prostitution like do you consider going to like in a like a happy ending spa prostitution no me neither but like that would also give me the ick it would but i don't think of calvin harris as having been with a prostitute right never forget those pictures of calvin harris leaving a happy ending spa right that's a different like okay we'll deal with the happy endings but paying for sex right right and I guess paying for sex if being in a different country totally helps right like culturally like in America it's not legal well that I don't know if it's legal in other countries either it is like I'm thinking of Amsterdam like red light district that's I think it's legal okay so it's not so much about breaking the law though that's not where like I'm concerned it's just like go to a bar like it's not that hard for a man to get laid you know if you really want to but i feel like sometimes if people travel and they you know when in rome they want to try local experiences try the cuisine right try the prostitutes the pussy yeah but you could do that at a bar so it's not the same right um this would be difficult to reconcile with however to answer your question no i don't think there's anything wrong with you like being icked out and judgy but like if you're in a p-jum relationship with someone who's treating and like something they did 10 years ago it's gonna change your current reality now let me ask you a question because like i just wish we never knew yeah it wouldn't make a difference yeah but we do know so what do we do but i'm just saying like not only did he do this 10 years ago which was wrong to do he told you about it which was also wrong to do yeah and i'm not i have to imagine though she was like poking and prodding i don't want i'm not like a bury my head in the sand sort of person but this information does not serve you at all and it only icks you out i would just like seriously do some hardcore mental gymnastics and just forget about it yeah if he's the boyfriend you say he is the man of your dreams like fine he had a prostitute fine it sounded like more than one yeah it did actually several times yeah he paid for sex that's really crazy maybe he was just like ugly and shy you know yeah maybe like in order to move past this we need more information right right but let's just like cling to the fact that it was not in america like that that the second i read it like i unclenched a little bit yeah like sorry he's a cosmopolitan man you know no like sorry he cares so deeply about other cultures that he has to enmesh himself you know waist down this may make you feel better i feel like if you really got down to brass tacks like how many american men that have traveled abroad and visited and how many of them paid for sex most i think it's a lot and so just know you're not alone you're just a statistic that's always what you want to hear ready hey swirlies my husband recently found a small lump on his text on his testicle and his doctor ordered an ultrasound to see what it could be.
29Now I've had multiple, multiple ultrasounds at the same location. Every time I've gone to the ultrasound tech, it's just stunning. It's fabulous. Oh, no, no. Sorry. Every time I've gone to the ultrasound technician, she is absolutely stunning. They are always wearing like tight little scrubs. Absolutely beautiful women. Am I crazy for feeling like he should request a male tech to perform this ultrasound? The idea of him in a dark room with his pants off and a beautiful girl rubbing his junk just doesn't sit right with me. I'm currently newly postpartum and I'm just feeling a little bit insecure.
54Yes, his health comes first and I know it's not all about me, but for some reason this is uncomfortable for me. Am I crazy? let's say it together yes okay i'm like you are crazy the thing is beautiful no i was gonna say like first of all you can't request a different ultrasound no you can you can request gender like i feel like when you're a woman you can request a woman the thing is is like this tech ain't looking at your man like she only testicles she grabs all day like she literally don't care no she's checking out his testicles in a medical capacity i'm sure he's feeling weird yeah not and it's not like a little embarrassed like not that there's anything embarrassing but like he's not like hey look at my big testicles there's a lump on it like i let's just chalk this up i'm glad you wrote in like you can acknowledge like perhaps you're just like in a hormonal state all about surveillance yes of course but i think we can make peace with this i think let's chalk this up to like postpartum hormones like you have a lot going on your husband is completely safe he can be in the facility of a beautiful professional right and yeah I'm also not precious about medical stuff do you know what I mean like we have a male OBGYN both of us and like I was actually having this conversation with a couple of my friends I guess they all have women who like they actively sought out I'm like oh I didn't even realize like Dr.
12Fox was a man like it's just doctor you know yeah you need to look at it from a really clinical perspective no um I was having this conversation a while ago on the redheads about like women doctors and I was like I know they should be paid less than men I'm kidding if it's a comfort thing like for sure um yeah the best doctor for the job correct is how I feel but actually the other day um when I went to the doctor Dr. Fox was like if you might be like getting contraction soon and I was like okay what does that feel like he's like I have no idea that's funny yeah it is funny but I was actually thinking that I was like describing something to him like because i want to be like it's like when you have your period but like you don't know that either no and then i saw another doctor in dr fox's office and it was a woman and she was actually pregnant and i was like oh okay so like what does the contraction feel like um so it doesn't matter like at some point jackie's right the best doctor for the job and like what so you'll get the male technician who stinks and then they won't diagnose your husband properly like she's so beautiful what he's gonna have a boner like that's she would freak out like that is that's actually best case because then no i'm sure people get boners all the time and it's like so not a big deal yeah we can we can relinquish we can rest easy like and like it's not like a lump is like so sexy you know there's nothing sexy about what's going down correct you can rest easy all right this is the third and final dear toasters it actually has something to do with us okay dear toasters i'm looking for some advice my husband has recently discovered he has sat for the toast thanks to me to the point where he's plans his days and evenings on when we would sit down and watch it together we've been home together for almost a week now because we just had our first baby.
46By the way, Claudia, I can't wait for you to lose your mucus plug. The other day, I got up off the couch to shower. He paused the podcast about 10 minutes in. I got out of the shower and found out that he had finished the episode without me. His response? It was a great episode. You will love it. Which I think is so rude because I wouldn't do that with his podcast. I guess I'm reaching out for advice on how to unobsess my husband with the podcast. Listen, it's kind of the power of the toast. I'd love to see us. You'll never catch us giving out that sort of advice. No, but boundaries. break the spell will never tell you boundaries do need to be set on on content sharing right and that is irrespective of whatever you're watching like if you guys were watching a show together you pause and you wait that's actually really crazy um and you can play this for him and let him know we love you we love that you will love it the enthusiasm is so appreciated but wait for your girl you know she's been through a lot i would say no and i think that what i've heard is that the toast is sort of this like anchor for postpartum women.
43So for the fact that like you went to take a shower, like God forbid, and he went and watched it without you, like it's fucking disgusting. And it should be treated how you would treat any TV show. If you're watching a series with someone and like, you know, Ben goes to take a shower, like, okay, I'll pause. Like, well, I'm not gonna watch the episode without you. The toast is kind of like The Sopranos, you know? Do better. Do better, but enjoy. We're so glad to have you here. We're happy to have you.
