  5. Celebrity sightings: Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner biking on Citi Bikes.

Notable examples

  • “Login in the app girl” creator Deborah Quack Gilbert; “wake windows” and rotting while waiting for sushi.

0:03Claudia Oshry:Good morning, girlies. It's the toast. It's Jackson Claude and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show. The fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly. It's the toast.

0:22Jackie Oshry:I sound amazing. welcome back to the toast and happy thursday that does feel like a friday because today is our final episode of the week tomorrow is juneteenth and so today is the final day so if you've got something to say if you've got something to say say it i will say it code

0:43Claudia Oshry:jern a frederick okay frederick i'll say it say it and you know i get the sense that you've been wanting to say it oh oh no I'm literally coming into the show like belaying slate like mind cleared nothing on my mind I have so much on my mind but that's just sort of what happens when you are like a woman of a certain intellect don't you find yes I do find what's on your mind coach

1:11Jackie Oshry:or in your share everything like everything last night was my one night off from love island and like I didn't make the most of it oh I made the most of it I went out to dinner like a two and a

1:20Claudia Oshry:half hour dinner and I got home like around the same time I'd be wrapping up Love Island and that is how I spent my night off and it was like I wanted to see my friend and I literally told her I can only go to dinner like Wednesday and Saturday but like Wednesday's better for me I'm already wearing makeup from work so we made it work and you know what it was really great to see my friend and to have a friend and to have a life and I'll be back at the television for the next six nights it's nice to have a friend it really is have a friend once a week once a week

1:54Jackie Oshry:and that's because kind of my max yeah so I made the most you didn't make the most no I didn't like things just sort of got away from me I've been really kind of like nutty about my wake windows I find that if the second wake window is not five hours you are that girl that creator

2:09Claudia Oshry:her what's her name i just followed her she's my new favorite creator i just followed her too oh my god i actually laugh out loud i don't stop log in in the app yeah the login in the app girl that's her name yeah her name is hold on you guys just followed her like yesterday deborah quack gilbert if you are a mother you have to follow if you're you know if you like comedy you have to follow her but like you will seriously relate if you're a mom it's tears in my eyes yes

2:40Jackie Oshry:it's true so I am the login in the app girl I just like kind of really need my second wake window to be five hours because then I get to sleep till 7 7 30 like that's just sort of so when you wake up late from a nap like we didn't go to bed till 7 30 so then it was just sort of like already deep into the night at 7 30 and then like the sushi we ordered like was at the restaurant but the courier wasn't there it was just like drama by the time I ate dinner it was like nine o 'clock it was time for bed like I didn't do anything productive I didn't watch anything I didn't read anything I just like rotted and waited for my food it was just like a bad use of my time I'm sorry that happens I hate like it was upsetting I'm very sorry maybe next Wednesday you'll have better luck out there yeah I did actually that's not true I watched one thing I watched Emily Kaiser on Jay Shetty not the whole thing yet I just want to say because I don't feel like it gets said enough that I would lay my life out for Emily Kaiser.

3:30Jackie Oshry:I love her so much. She, it like shocks me every time someone reminds me that she's 27. Wow. And that when her, her, um, when that incident with her son occurred, she was 25. Like that's insane. It's also insane. And it really speaks to like the evil nature of internet. And I'm sorry, mainly women that like, she's somebody who gets hate. Yeah. You know, um, even the comments, like I, they're overwhelmingly positive, but like the fact that there is a person on this earth who could find one negative thing to say about Emily Kaiser and what she went through. Like it's, it really speaks to like the, the evil of human nature.

4:03Jackie Oshry:Like there are such evil people out there. I think she's so well-spoken in the interview. And I thought Jay Shetty did an amazing job. Like it's, it's a tough interview to, to conduct. It was just, like, it's heartbreaking. And she's so mature. She just says things. And I'm like, oh my God. Cause I think a big question is like, you know, this incident with her son happened while she was out of the house. Like, how do you forgive your husband? Yeah, I saw this clip. are like if that was my husband it's a girl shut the fuck up like seriously shut the fuck up i'm

4:30Claudia Oshry:about to choke someone no and i think you think like if that was your husband like you don't know how you could ever forgive them and and she explains how like she went through all of those feelings yeah but she also said like this was a preventable accident so like it literally it could

4:42Jackie Oshry:have been her like yeah that's what like sort of and she was like i'm trying to give him the forgiveness that i would so badly want him to have given me if it was me in this situation versus him and it's just like that's literally a 27 year old girl like it's just insane to think about her level of maturity and what she's been through and how she's handled the whole thing and like and coming back she has to work so like still making content like it's insane when you think about her age and I thought the interview was excellent and I love her so much and I will seriously defend her always like she's my number one and she's also my comfort creator like yeah and it's like we're talking yesterday on the toast about like doing the dishes like that's her I I know.

5:19Claudia Oshry:And it's like, aside from the fact, like who could have something negative to say to a person who's like grieving and so heartbroken, but it's like, even before all of that, like her content is just like pargy and lovely. And like, really what negative thing would you have to say about any of that?

5:34Jackie Oshry:And people find a way.

5:36Claudia Oshry:They do.

5:37Jackie Oshry:It's the whole situation has really spoken to how awful, like even when the situation was unfolding and we weren't entirely sure if this situation was about Emily, people were showing up at her house you know um going to the city hall trying to unseal documents like just genuine evil walks among us and it's chill this was a chilling reminder of that and i just love her like i will like seriously protect her at all costs yeah yeah that's what i

6:05Claudia Oshry:did last night no i've been seeing clips from and everyone is like sharing that it was just so

6:09Jackie Oshry:amazing it was amazing like it was amazing yeah that's a really great like place to go i know share I don't know if I knew that things did they announce it or anything or not until like the day before got it okay yeah I didn't know that and I yeah it's a perfect place he's so good yeah did you see he just signed a huge deal with Netflix I saw and he brought a tear out of turdy don't forget oh well a hundred percent I yes I also went on Jay Shetty yeah um and I cried the whole time I was pregnant not that I probably I probably would have cried regardless you know you do this

6:46Claudia Oshry:podcast every day you do this podcast every day you don't cry every day when you're pregnant i do cry a lot either from laughing or crying i guess you i guess you you have cried i wouldn't say you

6:56Jackie Oshry:cry a lot no i've probably cried on this podcast are we talking about like crying from laughter or no no no i've probably cried like 10 times over eight years no that's so that's not a lot no it's not it's not but i did cry on jay shetty um that's what he does he talks about like the hard stuff and I was also pregnant. Just like, I want credit for that.

7:15Claudia Oshry:No, but it was a very revelatory episode. Not to make it like about you. No, I would never. I did it. It was me. I did it. I made it about you. It was her. Mama's getter. Well, we have some other podcasting news today. The podcasts are making news while Love Island took a night off. Yeah, Olivia Wilde on Call Her Daddy mentioning it all.

7:36Jackie Oshry:Mentioning it all. Yeah, Love Island not being on was lovely. Although I did miss my peeps.

7:42Claudia Oshry:Like I know I was thinking a little bit like I was having a little bit of withdrawal. Like it's good, but it's bad. You know, like, yeah, it's good. It is. It's good, but it's bad. Yeah, we could say that. We could say it. And we are committed to watching and I've gotten to like a good routine with it. So like people are who are like, keep watching or stop watching. Like I'm keeping watching until further notice. Same. What else does it do with you, Jax? You're wearing all pink. You're looking like a little ballerina today. Thank you so much in honor of Ballerina Farm. What's new with me? I've got a pargy loaf started this morning.

8:16Claudia Oshry:I'm happy to say that the starter is rising. She has risen. Oh, yes. And I made a loaf a couple days ago with my new starter. That is like, you know, my relative but distant relative. And we are getting closer. The loaf was pargy. It always is. Thank you. And I've got one going again today. So I'm in loaf mode, you know? Oh, yeah. Rise and grind.

8:40Jackie Oshry:Literally. So glad to hear. Yeah. The starter.

8:43Claudia Oshry:Yeah. The starters come full circle.

8:45Jackie Oshry:Okay. Nevermind. I actually did watch something last night. I watched. And you know, I have this like toxic relationship with this show four seasons. I've seen it. The first season. Oh, did you? The second season is out. I'm telling you, I like this show so much. Like it's so not me. It is hysterical. Like it's very rare that I watch a show and I actually like laugh out loud. But there's so many. The writing on this show is excellent. I was like cracking up at multiple like just conversations it's such a good show I'm into spring so I'm in season number two I really like it also reminds me of postpartum because that's when I watched it the first time it was like such a sweet little show um I really like it why do you feel like it's so not you it's like Tina Fey I don't know it just feels not me it's also not

9:26Claudia Oshry:it's kind of like a show for boomers I don't think so because that's not the demo of like the people but like Coleman Domingo.

9:35Jackie Oshry:Yes, it's a much, it's an older show. And Coleman Domingo, by the way, is the star of the show. He's seriously so fucking funny. I don't know if I've ever seen him in anything comedic. Like in Euphoria, he's kind of like serious. Oh my God, hysterical. I'm always cracking up at him and his husband. I think the show gears more towards like an older gen. And I never see anyone talking about it. Like, is it popular?

9:55Claudia Oshry:I think that it is. What's that viral clip that's like, I'm looking, oh, from Lizzie McGuire premiere of The Little Brother. I'm looking forward to cracking up. Cracking up.

10:03Jackie Oshry:That's what I mean when I'm sat for four seasons. I think I'm looking forward to cracking up. That's me every day.

10:11Claudia Oshry:Like, I'm constantly cracking and or looking forward to cracking.

10:16Jackie Oshry:It's one of my favorite activities, cracking up. And I feel like a lot of times you say lol or LMFAO and like you're over exaggerating. Not me. When I'm cracking, I'm cracking. Yeah, I see you. I see you. I'm cracking up. Our new favorite acronym that we invented.

10:37Claudia Oshry:Looking forward to cracking up.

10:40Jackie Oshry:I really am. It's one of my favorite. Like my hobbies include cracking up. I agree wholeheartedly. Not my sister Olivia calling me.

10:51Claudia Oshry:Oh, pick up. Tell her she's live. Let's see. Let's get a new mama update.

10:56Jackie Oshry:Oh my God. She's so funny. She's right. she's like i realize you're recording but i reposted something really weird on tiktok and she was like you might want to unrepost this tell us what it is i didn't repost this it's like okay maybe she's like doing a prank no no she's right what was it thank you what was like low-key politics like i'm not getting involved it's politics i'm not even involved in like oh my third rail no no it was just like um drama what's the drama i'll tell you about it later if you saw me repost that you guys it was an accident i need to know what it was i was thinking like who the fuck is calling me everybody knows i never get calls during the toast everyone in my life knows

11:42Claudia Oshry:yeah do not look for me before noon no and i'm on do not disturb and then yesterday it was like three o 'clock and i just happened to see i had a missed call like while we were doing the toast from someone who like doesn't know me like that and i was like well oh my gosh i have to call this individual back it's very important and i got a hold of her but like i could have missed that

12:00Jackie Oshry:have i talked about drizzalicious here on this pod yeah we we talk about it a lot oh do we okay drizzalicious is like having a national moment i don't know where the fuck it came from but i just found out it's a jewish-owned brand slide i mean of course licious they should i should do a sponsorship with them lish i just want to put it out there that i would like to do a collaborative flavor um so the bodega by my house like is obviously like a supplier because they have

12:23Claudia Oshry:every flavor and every no the amount of shelf space this brand gets and even before it like this big renaissance like it just showed up one day and it took over the shelves like at public's like you had no choice but to buy it and i'm glad because i love it but like we did not have a choice

16:25Claudia Oshry:It's Crocs season. I'm finding my

16:28Jackie Oshry:shoes. Today's episode of the toast is also brought to you by the absorption company. So most people assume that if they're taking supplements every day, they're getting the benefits. But the reality is the vast majority of supplements have incredibly low absorption rates. So that means most of what people spend money on actually never gets inside their body. And the absorption company is focused on solving that exact problem with pharmaceutical grade absorption technology designed to help nutrients actually work. Because no matter how powerful a supplement is on paper, it only matters if your body is absorbing it.

16:56Jackie Oshry:And they have tons of products that are really popular. Most importantly is their berberine. I'm sure you guys have heard of berberine. It's called Nature's Ozempic. But a problem that a lot of people don't know about it is that most berberine absorbs at less than 1%, meaning that many people never experience the full metabolic and blood sugar benefits. And the absorption company developed a clinically studied berberine that absorbs over six times better. It helps people support cravings, insulin sensitivity, and blood sugar more effectively. Also, their magnesium is pargy. You know, we love the power of magnesium here at The Toast.

17:24Jackie Oshry:Magnesium is so good for you. It supports over 300 bodily function. It promotes better sleep. Muscle recovery regulates your stress, your mood, and so much more. But again, most magnesium absorbs between 4 % and 8%. And their magnesium absorbs eight times better than the standard one. So you get better sleep, better muscle recovery, just better everything, better absorption. Start taking your supplements that you can actually absorb and check out the absorption company. Go to absorbmore.com, enter code TOS at checkout for up to 35 % off your first order. That's absorbmore.com, Enter code T-O-A-S-T for 35 % off your first order.

17:58Jackie Oshry:Today's episode is also brought to you by Unreal. We are obsessed with Unreal. Unreal is the snacking company that's just like made for swirls, don't you find? I'm sure you guys have had their peanut butter cups, their almond butter cups. They have so many good products. And their new launch, Peanut Butter Drops, which I have been loving. That's what you put in your popcorn the other day. It reinvents the poppable bite-sized peanut butter snack that you grew up with with a taste that's even better than you remember. It has 33 % less sugar than the leading brand. It has organic peanut butter, four grams of protein per serving.

18:28Jackie Oshry:They're just doing the Lord's work by like making candy, iconic candy, nostalgic candy, but making it better. They have great ingredients. The crunchy candy shell is made with no artificial dyes or colors, turmeric, red beet, radish, spirulina. So it's made with real simple ingredients. It's fair trade certified. It's certified non-GMO and it's certified gluten-free as well. It's their first non-chocolate product made especially for all the peanut butter lovers out there. 20:56Claudia Oshry:Our first story aforementioned, Olivia Wilde on Call Her Daddy. She is addressing the Don't Worry Darling drama, her divorce, her relationship with Harold Stiles.

21:09Jackie Oshry:I also think that this interview is like, I'm back. I didn't know she left. But yeah, I guess she has been relatively quiet.

21:17Claudia Oshry:She has been quiet. I guess she has a new movie coming out. Directing or starring? Probably directing and starring. Doesn't she do both? She's so funny to me.

21:27Jackie Oshry:Like she kind of, I kind of like missed her. She has like a lot of guys, like dream girl. Like I don't really know where she came from. I don't. The OC. Yeah, yeah. She, I just kind of like, she sort of passed me by. In terms of fandom. But people are obsessed with her. Well, then she sort of took a left turn. Yes. And I think there was a lot. She's a good guest for Call Her Daddy because she has, like, a lot of things to talk about. She's got a lot of explaining to do. She does. Her public divorce, which was just so crazy, like the rumors about the nanny laying in front of the car, the divorce papers on stage, which she talked about on the podcast.

22:04Jackie Oshry:The movie. That felt like a real movie. Of course, the Harry Styles relationship. And then the movie, Shia, Shia, Shia. Miss Flo, when I talk about insufferable female females, like feminists, fake feminists, I'm always low-key talking about Olivia Wilde. She's the example in my head that I use for just insufferable women talking about women who are actually not those types. I think about Emily Ratajkowski, too. I think of them in the same bucket. So I'm really not her number one fan. I do think the interview was good for her. she came across really likable and honest. I think obviously the most important thing is her relationship with Harry Styles.

22:51Jackie Oshry:And what I wish she had just said is like a big fuck you to everyone because Alex is like, I mean, like, I can't believe, like, why everyone? And it's like, well, they're just jealous. Like, we wouldn't just acknowledge the jealousy thing. First of all, younger girls are jealous because it's like, this is my guy. Who are you? Older women are jealous. You're living my fantasy. Like, the element of jealousy didn't come up in the conversation and I wish it did because like, that was the whole thing.

23:12Claudia Oshry:No, and also just like they love Harry. That's not who they wanted to see him with.

23:17Jackie Oshry:Well, she did say, talk about the parasocial relationship his fans have. And she was very particular about her wording because she knows, you know, she's been, she's seen their wrath. And I don't think she wanted to feel it again. But there are a lot of mentally ills in that. It is, can border on being a toxic, sad community. And so I do feel for her, that could not have been easy, honestly. It's the idea of you. it's literally that book well yeah that was based on them right what came out before the book came out first it was art imitate no it was life imitating art it was kind of spooky how similar

23:52Claudia Oshry:it was yeah oh that's crazy well she talked about a lot she talked about the don't worry darling drama which was the craziest drama of its year she talked about how it was covid so everything was already like upside down i think it was like 2020 the film came out in 2022 i mean covid went When did it end? I'm sorry. That's not COVID. Actually, I think it was. I think it was like Omnicrom. No, I'm sorry.

24:17Jackie Oshry:When we blame COVID for things, you get 2020 and 2021. That's it. But when was Omni? Yeah, but Omnicrom. When was the Chrome? People were like, we were out. Like, we were being more careful. But like, everyone was out. Not everyone. I'm talking about being jailed. Like, that's COVID. Oh, you know what? I fell down a rabbit hole today. Are you familiar? Are the Redheads covering like the Amy Griffin drama? Who's that?

24:40Claudia Oshry:So Amy Griffin wrote a book. Yes, a memoir, but then her classmate said, this happened to me.

24:46Jackie Oshry:So it's the memoir about, like, discovering that she had been sexually assaulted as a child only because she did MDMA and the memories came back to her. Like, she had no memory of it. And then a former schoolmate of hers was like, excuse me, this happened to me. It's like a Jane Doe lawsuit. She was like, what the hell are you talking about? New York Times did, like, a whole investigation, like, supporting the Jane Doe's claim. Now the author's hitting back. And you know what? I'm just on the side of whoever's telling me their story because I was listening to like somebody break down Amy Griffin's version and I'm like oh I believe you so I'm not 100 it's kind of a crazy saga I need a movie about the saga to explain it to me fully and what did Amy Griffin say in her defense in her she poked a lot of holes in Jane Doe's proof making Jane Doe like actually look like completely like a liar

25:30Jackie Oshry:I don't know like she was also coming for the New York Times saying that the New York Times was like a little shoday in their investigation which I do believe as well. So it's kind of a saga I'm not 100 % kept up on. Yeah, I think you would also have to read the book. Yeah, no, I didn't read any of it. It was a Bell Burdens of its time like on a smaller scale. It was like the It book last year. Last year. I wasn't reading last year. She was like the darling of literacy and then this former classmate is like excuse me, this is my trauma. And it is very new. Is it possible that it happened to both of them?

26:01Jackie Oshry:So I think Amy Griffin is alleging like it also happened to me. Yeah, and who did it?

26:05Claudia Oshry:Amy Griffith. Who done it? Like what happened? Oh, I don't know. Oh, okay. Okay. Well, back to this story. Sorry, yeah. Olivia Wilde's talking about all the drama. I mean, that was the biggest story of its time. Yeah, it was. It was a little bit of COVID. She said, I've never felt more disconnected from the person that people were talking about. It's also very strange to see complete fiction traded as fact. There was all this public madness, but my private light was very far from it and very actually kind of wholesome and sweet. I had a lot of real joy and happiness during that time. It was like the tornado was right outside the door.

26:39Claudia Oshry:And if you were inside, you were like, it's so nice. Then you'd open the door and a fucking cow and a tractor would fly by. So I guess she's talking about like in her relationship with Harry at the time, she was in a happy place because they were together. And, you know, she's saying it was just like very misconstrued. And she wanted to be like, can I just talk to people? Can I go and say like, that's not true? And it was like, no, that won't help. And that was really hard. And now she sort of feels like she should have shared that at the time. She says, I think that in my own attempt to be strong and to kind of like rise above it, it came off as inauthentic.

27:11Jackie Oshry:Okay, like I don't really care about any element of this besides Shia, Shia, Shia. Because all of the drama up until that point that could be explained away. But it was, I feel very detrimental to her image because it was so incongruous with this. The future is female girl boss. But you're bringing in a predator and begging him to come work on your movie. even though your star Flo, Miss Flo, has asked you not to. And you're now caught on video begging this really abusive, ill actor to come on your movie. Yeah.

27:45Claudia Oshry:Yeah, so it's like, I wish she, so she's on the show like saying it's not true, but like there are things that we know as fact. What is not true? Oh, that like, you know, the narrative that like everyone was fighting on the movie that Florence, you know, had to produce herself because Olivia's off with Harry and like. Yeah, I want to say I don't believe that that was the case. But here are the things that are true. The video of her. The fact that Florence did not promote the movie. There was obviously a schism. Did Chris Pine spit on Harry Styles? I don't think he did. So, but like, can you address that?

28:22Jackie Oshry:That was such a crazy time. Yeah, I feel like she went into detail on a lot of stuff. Except this. She spoke very generally about it. And it's like, well, I would like to know more. to me the only thing she's really guilty of is the Shia thing and that's a big thing and I feel like it was very damaging like she was a lot of like a lot of swirlies like number one girl boss inspiring female director and it's like here you are being awful so she didn't really talk about that part which to me was the most damning part of the whole saga yes the spitting Miss Flo having sex on set but like no the Shia thing there were so many like iconic

28:58Claudia Oshry:things that came out of this saga shaya shaya shaya a movie that feels like a real movie even when she addressed the rumors she said as far as for the endless tabloid gossip and all the noise out there i mean the internet feeds itself i don't feel the need to contribute i think it's sufficiently well nourished

29:17Jackie Oshry:okay like yeah we're getting back to like that insufferable female girl boss

29:24Claudia Oshry:but this is a good get for Alex yeah no it's a good interview on both their parts I like I think a good interview in general is like someone who has been talked about a lot misunderstood in some ways who's ready to like speak their mind and and let people you know take it or leave it

29:41Jackie Oshry:yeah she has had so many arcs in her career because she was also talking on the podcast about how she was at one point McMaxim Hot 100 number one girl and it's like oh yeah that was like I I think on the heels of the OC and that's why she's like so many guys like dream girl. Yeah. Because she is also that. Yeah. Now she's like girl boss director, but the maximum to girl boss pipeline, I guess is a thing.

30:04Claudia Oshry:I do think that it's a thing. Cause you get like so objectified. Yeah. And like sexualizing. You're like, don't look at me. Look at the work. My work. Yeah. And so you're like off camera. Cause you want to show everyone the work. What's inside. Don't look at me, but I'm going to star in the movie, but I'm not filming.

30:22Jackie Oshry:but she's not filming.

30:24Claudia Oshry:Right. She talked about getting the divorce papers served to her on stage, like, and how shocking that was.

30:30Jackie Oshry:She said that Jason Sudeikis, like to this day swears that he did not tell the lawyers to do that. And she says, like, I do know that lawyers do get crazy. So for the sake, she said, I have to believe him. Like I didn't get the sense that she instinctually believed him. She was like, I have to believe him because if I think the alternative, like it will ruin her life.

30:49Claudia Oshry:Yeah. I don't know these people but I I guess I just like believe people you know yeah until you give

30:56Jackie Oshry:me a reason not to she thought she was in the clear because like while it was humiliating it was this like corporate no phones event so she was like all right that was humiliating but like it's in this room by the time she's off stage she's like it was everywhere so much so that like a few weeks later she met Tom Cruise yeah he was like I'm so sorry that happened to you yeah and she like didn't realize that tom cruise had seen it yeah that's how big it was it really was huge i forgot i forget like there was a time where on this show we were talking about olivia wilde every day yeah yeah crazy times crazy times anyway enjoy the episode are you ready for our next story lindsey hubbard is kind of coming for me huh for me but like lindsey invented me huh Lindsay was the one who like got, who started the whole thing with the horse hair tie.

31:46Claudia Oshry:Okay, it's all going down on threads. Lindsay is reacting to Sierra's, to Sierra, no, I have the screenshots. You don't need to download threads. To Sierra's cryptic post. But Cluddy, even if you downloaded threads, like you might miss this, so it's fine. So she's reacting to, Sierra posted a cryptic post and now Lindsay's calling out Mija. So Sierra posted an image, like a gif of like a girl, like sort of seeming like exhausted by something. Okay. And Lindsay replied, assuming this is because Mija is telling you one thing and still talking to West on the phone every day. Then someone else tweeted separately like a Bravo account said, Mija and West talked for six hours post reunion, girl.

32:25Claudia Oshry:And Mija responded saying, and if I want to yell at my ex for six hours straight, that's my God given right. Ooh, okay.

32:33Jackie Oshry:So, you know, we posted a clip of our conversation from yesterday. Yeah. Talking about how that was like a low point of the episode and Sierra's really above that. And I was a little afraid to post it.

32:43Claudia Oshry:I know, I was actually surprised that we posted it. I know, because I just feel like,

32:47Jackie Oshry:and rightfully so, like we shouldn't be criticizing Sierra right now. She is the victim. And it's like, it was a very hot take. And I feel like if you say anything in Summer House discourse, that's not like, slay, slay, slay, Sierra. Like you're the opposition. So I was a little afraid and I was shocked to see the comments like were overwhelmingly agreeing with us that like it was just a bad look for Sierra and that Mija is just kind of like, not the vibe. And so I think that the fact that the clip was so well received, it speaks to the general tone of like how the episode was received. And I think for the first time in this whole saga, it was the first time that Sierra got like something other than just unbridled support and love.

33:27Jackie Oshry:And so I don't know if that makes her hate Mija or, but she like, I don't know. She, I don't know. Like she did sit there and like support everything she was saying, even though, yeah, Mija, like,

33:36Claudia Oshry:I just want to say are not the same, but Sierra posting that gif. like there was nothing to do with Miha and her posting that it was Lindsay who made about me now maybe Lindsay knows more than we do and she knows that that is about Miha but like I don't even think it's Sierra turning on Miha yet I think it's just like Lindsay out of nowhere just really calling it like she sees it and I guess Lindsay's beyond the six-hour conversation which I can forgive a six-hour conversation like listen you apparently had a year-long relationship it's coming to an end the reunion was the final thing six hours let's get after it whatever but But Lindsay saying that Miha is still talking to Wes on the phone every day and saying that yesterday.

34:14Jackie Oshry:Yeah. I fear that all of this is only sort of supporting and furthering the idea that Miha will be a new castmate on Southern's house. And.

34:25Claudia Oshry:But the more that Miha engages with the show, the more it's clear that she should not be on the show. But the show is taking it as like, oh, she's the storyline now. But like, no, she's the storyline. and the line is saying no no because we felt that way other people felt that way I'm not seeing a lot of like love and love and and it's not even that I'm seeing hate for me I'm seeing a lot of disinterest and I said yeah which is worse Mija is the Dino of Summer House yeah like I care about

34:54Jackie Oshry:what's happening on this show yeah agreed and also her storyline is very much still connected to West who has been fired. So if we're not going to have West on the show and here's a girl who's like, whole thing is that she's still wrapped up with West.

35:10Claudia Oshry:Like that doesn't help. But I think probably the network and maybe some people would find it empowering that it's like he, you know, treated me the way that he did. Well, I think the network thought that that episode with Ciara would be empowering too and it fell flat. Yeah. Yeah. I think, you know, the idea that like she, he kept her off the show. He didn't want to put her on the show. He kept her in the dark and now she took his job is like. And she, but like the fact, Like, I don't see it that way, but that's also just because I'm a critical thinker. On paper, it's an empowering story. In practice, I'm not liking it.

35:42Jackie Oshry:No, what we're not seeing on paper is like this person who willingly accepted like offensive behavior from her partner. And thought that that was a relationship. And it's not. And the only pictures we have of you two are in bed was because he wouldn't let you out of the house. Like, he wouldn't be seen with you in public. like that's that is like genuinely like one of the most hurtful and mean things a guy can do to

36:05Claudia Oshry:you like not wanting to be seen with you yeah and I mean I can understand how in the beginning like a few months it's like we're keeping this under wraps it's just me and you like let's figure out what this is before we like let the world in but a year he never let the world in all of their pictures are indoors yeah there was like one that looked to be at a game or something but I'm sure it was like classic west with other people around too so it's like yeah inconspicuous very sinister

36:29Jackie Oshry:and what are we or they or someone like gonna talk about west's grandma like what happened to

36:36Claudia Oshry:that thank you when is someone gonna talk about west's grandma and especially for the aftermath for the aftermath episode that should have been included because i'm sorry his grandma was murdered by his cousin cousin the day that he filmed the reunion that's relevant yeah to your state of mind how's that affecting him and maybe his relationship like his that we need to talk about the grandma perhaps it can inform some of his behavior

37:08Jackie Oshry:during the reunion he was in a state of shock like literally anything no and it's like maybe

37:12Claudia Oshry:they don't want to complicate the storyline or maybe they don't want people to have any sympathy for Wes but like we are sorry it's relevant we are capable of processing multiple emotions at once it's relevant information sorry and it's really the craziest story we ever heard it was almost crazier than the fact that Amanda and Wes even gave it a go it was cousin killed the grandma step grandma who raised him the grandma who stepped up not the step grandma the grandma who stepped up she's the grandma who stepped up like i think she was gran like in their

37:47Jackie Oshry:lives i'm sure so i thought it was like i thought it was that grandma had passed away and so this

37:51Claudia Oshry:was just like the girlfriend no i don't think she was like a late in life girlfriend i think it was like a long-term girlfriend so not only have you lost the grandma who stepped up but your cousin

38:00Jackie Oshry:is a murderer that's the real shocker and if he's not that close with these people just say that and

38:07Claudia Oshry:We can move on, but we need to address it. It hasn't been brought up once. And I feel like collectively people have forgotten about it. I have not. I forgot. No, and then you reminded me, and we need to discuss it. Yeah. But I guess that's a wrap on West Wilson.

38:23Jackie Oshry:Right. So we'll never hear about the grandma. But I need one of those true crime podcasts to do a deep dive. Or his podcast. His podcast. Why doesn't he talk about it? Because he's too busy, like, being insufferable.

38:34Claudia Oshry:No, he absolutely needs to talk about it. even if it's just to say like why he's not talking about it like why he doesn't want to talk about it just be like it's been very painful curious now because no one's talking about it yeah even if he's like it's very painful it's ongoing investigation i can't talk about it but you just meant like that it happened or did it even happen no it did question mark it's a really what did sierra mean with by that jiff i don't know i don't know but Lindsay took it upon herself to you know I love Lindsay swipe at me from the side I love but I'm shocked that Lindsay's not like team me I know but Lindsay is a critical thinker and so not everything is going to be just like all or nothing all or nothing like okay I can support you but also call you out when you're acting wrong yeah even in her conversation with Amanda was so layered in terms of like it wasn't just all hate all criticism there was a little support there was support and and a love and tenderness while also toughness absolutely we'd

39:42Jackie Oshry:love to see that from our faves we do holding like and at a certain point like I I was looking for one person on this cast to show the tiniest bit of sympathy for Amanda like she's still a

39:54Claudia Oshry:human being who deserves like life yeah yeah so while yes Miha was treated wrongly by West for over a year and then ultimately cheated on and broken up by him like and I can have you know empathy for you why are you talking to him every single day continuing doormat behavior and just her tone well yes like kind of admitting what she accepted was a bad look for her her tone of the

40:19Jackie Oshry:whole thing wasn't giving mad it wasn't giving over it it was giving like very much petty and it was not mature that's what I meant when I said that it was very beneath Sierra yeah yeah Yeah.

40:32Claudia Oshry:Are you ready for our next story?

40:35Jackie Oshry:Little Nick's news. Oh my God. The parade is happening right now. I heard. First of all, I don't even know when it starts, but I heard that all the checkpoints were completely full by 6 a.m. I saw a video of people getting off on the subway station, not being able to go up the stairs. They're stuck in the subway station. Oh my God. My fucking nightmare.

40:55Claudia Oshry:Yeah. That's really crazy. The parade's happening today. big big news Alicia Keys is set to close out the parade probably it's gonna be sick with the rendition of Empire State of Mind that will be great yeah also Ben Stiller is doing a Knicks docuseries with A24 HBO and the NBA after the Knicks championship win so the series will chronicle the history culture and enduring legacy of the Knicks culminating with the franchise's

41:25Jackie Oshry:first NBA championship in 53 years so I love this like I do think that this it really the whole saga has felt like a storybook ending there's so much history so explaining it to the world in a documentary format with HBO is great I think we knew this because Ben Stiller was like granted access for the last like couple of weeks to the next playoffs he was at every practice he was like filming a lot of shit on his phone horizontally so people knew that it was a documentary coming And I just want to say like my level of interest in watching Ben Stiller's shaky, horizontal iPhone content is a zero.

41:58Jackie Oshry:Like, I love this concept. I think Ben Stiller being attached to the project is brilliant. But like when in terms of when it comes to like actual footage captured by him and his backpack and his iPhone, like I'm good. I could I have TikTok like I could do that on my own. Bring in a camera.

42:12Claudia Oshry:Yeah. He went on Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart's podcast. Oh, you're kidding. Called Roommates. and he said obviously I've been shooting some stuff on my phone but it's going to be all about all eras of the Knicks and this team obviously there's a culmination here of something that's been going on for a long time it's super exciting it's great to have had all this access to your team we're going to probably be shooting a little bit more during next season and I'm going to hit you guys up for some interviews it's going to be over the next year that we'll be working on it a lot of people have wanted to make it happen for a long time yeah no it's a story that I think like

42:43Jackie Oshry:people might not understand like hopefully so having but I wonder why it's like Spike Lee who's like an actual Oscar winning like director isn't attached to it I don't know but I'm not complaining

42:53Claudia Oshry:but A24 is also on it and so they're probably like the movie makers of this it sort of reminds me of that Cowboys docuseries that we had watched that like it was just like the arc of the Cowboys but it really like talked about their story especially in the 90s and their legacy and you know now they're like in a lull but just mapping out the history and like the arc of the team so i'm sure it will go from like you know the last championship till now and it'll just be like a lot more even more history than than ben stiller's iphone footage from your mouth to god's ears

43:29Jackie Oshry:maybe they should have gotten rick burns i mean there are so many famous nick fans like i'm sure Mariska Hargitay is doing the voiceover like just from the first like just Timothy was also filming horizontal just from celebrity row they could put together like a mean cast and crew yeah Tracy Morgan doing like stand-up for the team like a million things yeah but I do hope

43:53Claudia Oshry:it's like it's quality same the same the way the Cowboys was was really quality the way like you know the New York Rick Burns series like just like lots of archival footage yeah and and for everyone like not just not just like hardcore Knicks fans like a real storytelling yeah and

44:13Jackie Oshry:I think it's probably obviously because they want it's a good time but like so many of the players from the last championship that they won like 1972 are still alive like those Knicks legends and they like travel with the team and stuff so like getting those stories yeah like the Michael

44:26Claudia Oshry:Irvin of the of the Knicks that's like the the Cowboys had that documentary I was like I think

44:32Jackie Oshry:you're saying Patrick Ewing you said Patrick Ewing wrong like Walt Frazier and Bill Bradley yeah that's right I know the legends legends we were left oh also a little more Knicks news was

44:46Claudia Oshry:that Timothy Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were spotted um biking on city bikes oh yeah a little

44:52Jackie Oshry:more next news she's whipped yeah um she was city biking in ballet flats which like is so crazy yeah i will say like city bikes are like image wise very cool it's a well-maintained program we have here like the bikes i feel like a lot of times when you just like leave a bike out in the street like it becomes like an encampment no it's like very well maintained it's secure i wonder if like they did the one-time pass or if like timothy has an annual they're pretty clean given it's like public so like I think it's insane that Kylie's on a city bike but in the city like city bikes are very chic it's the great equalizer like kind of on the subway like you see celebrities on the subway like it is the most effective way of getting around the city like Andy Cohen's on it every morning you can see celebrities on the subway it's kind of the same goes for city bike like it looks crazy but it's actually not

45:44Claudia Oshry:no it's so crazy and she could have had like you know a Schwinn delivered to her door if like she had the idea that she wanted to go biking. I think it's absolutely insane that she's on the city bike. But like if you have a Schwinn. And she's so in love because you know this was Timothy's idea.

45:57Jackie Oshry:If you have a Schwinn, like then you have to park the Schwinn. No, her bodyguard just started in the garbage. She's done. This was definitely Timothy's idea. And I just want to say like, yes, I have city biked as well. So like Kylie and I have that in common. Where did you city bike to and was it your idea? It was, I don't know whose idea it was. Ben and I did it. It was when I was an NYU student, but I was, like, living uptown. So we were, like, should we sit in a bike? And we just, like, tried to get as much uptown as we could. It was, like, a beautiful day. And we were, like, obviously on crack.

46:28Jackie Oshry:I've done it a couple of times. I don't like, like, the thing where they have, like, a little area for your bag. And there's, like, a strap that goes over it. It's not secure enough. Like, if you have precious cargo, like, you really can't.

46:38Claudia Oshry:Yeah, like, oh, she's wearing a mini bag, but she did put it in the basket.

46:42Jackie Oshry:With, like, you see that, like, one little strap over it?

46:44Claudia Oshry:it's not it's not secure in my opinion no no oh my god she's so in love like seriously ballet flats like i just know she has blisters yeah yeah they do look cute though though they

46:56Jackie Oshry:always do i am i am looking forward to seeing the nicks parade like on tv i imagine it's amazing to be there but i saw a girl who like literally got front row bleacher she was there at 2 30 this morning like it was a hair name ben's offer yeah right life hack is like having an apartment that like looks over the street where the parade is. It's all the way downtown, like by City Hall. Yeah. So it's actually like, it's a lot of like public office buildings.

47:17Claudia Oshry:No, and it's like you would live there for 53 years before you get to see one parade. Just for one morning. Right. Or you could just wake up at 2.30 once and live wherever you want. I like that. That's a good trade.

47:32Jackie Oshry:Are you ready for our next story? If it's our next story, that's brought to you by Truvia. It's Truvia Allulose, Plastivia Sweetener, and Monk Fruit Sweetener. so with the familiar taste and performance of sugar it helps making cutting back feel easier rather than restrictive so it swaps in at a one-to-one ratio with sugar so you can use it confidently and your favorite recipes with no adjustments needed we are a trivia household we have been for a year shout out to jack's she did put me on to trivia and now this trivia plus stevia sweetener and monk fruit sweetener is so popular it's so good i love trivia i'm like a real believer and i love the the ratios being equal because if you're going to swap something like i'm just like I need a low lift swap.

48:10Jackie Oshry:I need you to make my life easy. So if I'm out here with my measuring cup, it's just not going to work. Well, no, it swaps in at a one-to-one ratio. And your calculator. Correct. It blends allulose with stevia sweetener and monk fruit sweetener. So it delivers a mellow, well-rounded sweetness, but without the sharp aftertaste. It's also very adaptable. So it works well in drinks and baked goods. I use it in my coffee, but it also does in sauces, savory meals. The trivia allulose plus stevia sweetener and monk fruit sweetener combines three complimentary sweeteners to create a sugar-like taste, but it has zero calories per serving.

48:39Jackie Oshry:it's delish if you're looking for a swap highly recommend if you're a trivia household or or not I highly recommend becoming one we're really big fans and this new trivia allulose plus sweetener and monk fruit sweetener is parjolish we love we highly recommend

Let's talk to the single gals or really anyone who's ever been on a dating app and felt like they had to create a polished, you know, fake version of themselves just to keep up. Because nobody has energy for that at this point. If you don't want to invent a new personality for an app because you already have one, we really like Haile Dating App.

50:47First of all, Haile is an acronym.

50:49Jackie Oshry:It stands for Hey, I Like You because that level of honesty I think feels really refreshing in the dating app space. What makes Haile Dating App different is that it's built for people who are over the whole pretending thing. you're not trying to seem cooler, funnier, or more mysterious than you actually are. You're just dating as yourself, which should be normal. It's not like a relevatory, relevatory? Yeah, relevatory concept. But somehow it does feel groundbreaking in the modern dating era. Clearly people are responding to it. Highly Dating app has been downloaded over 42 million times worldwide.

51:17Jackie Oshry:It has hundreds of thousands of monthly active users and millions of matches happening every year. It's also become one of the top five dating apps in the U.S. app store. We love that the app is very thoughtful. Their smart matching learns your preferences based on interests, compatibility, who you like, who you skip, and it just gets better over time. They also have Icks and Clicks, which helps you check compatibility beyond just photos, and they offer major crush, which lets you make the first move without making it into a hole event. Major bonus is that Highly Dating app has a consent guard, which blocks unsolicited, inappropriate messages right away.

51:46Jackie Oshry:Again, something else that should be standard practice in the modern dating era, but sadly, it is not. Download the Highly Dating app from the App Store or Google Play or visit H-I-L-Y.com, Highly.com, and date as you are with the Highly Dating app. Today's episode is also brought to you by Built Rewards. So whether you're paying rent, paying a mortgage, one of your biggest monthly expenses should be working harder for you. That's where Built comes in. It's the membership for where you live that rewards you with points on every housing payment wherever you live. So of course, we've been talking about Built for a while.

52:13Jackie Oshry:I've been a Built member for so long because I am a renter. We know that they reward members with points on their rent. But now, as of 2026, Built members can also earn points on mortgage payments wherever they live. So every housing payment earns you points that you can use towards flights and top travel partners like United and Hyatt, Lyft rides, Amazon.com purchases, and so much more. Personally, I always redeem my Built points for travel. They have amazing travel partners like airlines and hotels. I am friends with Brian Kelly, the Points Guy, so I do know how to make my points go extra far.

52:40Jackie Oshry:And I love my Built points because I do pay rent every month. It sometimes can feel so frustrating to rent because you don't get anything in return until you become a Built Rewards member. like your points can work for you. But one of the more underrated parts of Built Membership is getting access to the neighborhood concierge where they can make restaurant reservations, book fitness classes, find new local spots, all while being rewarded at more than 45 ,000 merchant partners. So it's basically like having a personal system baked into where you live. It's very simple. Being a renter and now a homeowner is better with Built.

53:07Jackie Oshry:Join the membership for where you live at joinbuilt.com slash toast. That's J-O-I-N-B-I-L-T dot com slash T-O-A-S-T. Make sure to use that link so we know that you sent you. 53:36Claudia Oshry:Our next story, Dancing with the Stars cast member announced they have added Jimmy Kimmel's sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez as a contestant for season 35. I love this. But yes, it's Guillermo's time. Yes, Guillermo shall be the Andy Richter of the season, I believe. A hundred percent.

53:56Jackie Oshry:It is like very ABC, Hulu, Disney synergy. He is a star on ABC. It's pargy. I'm so excited. Of course, I love when they pluck like influencer reality stars, but I do like... A well-rounded cast. Yeah, and I love this. It's an unexpected choice. So who do we know so far? Four. Rob Mora. Sierra. Guillermo. Savannah Bananas. Right. Five. His name is Jackson, I think. Jackson Claude. Jackson Claude Rod Stewart.

54:29Claudia Oshry:That's who's got my vote. Do we know Rob? I feel like we made that up. It's not confirmed. But Maura's confirmed. Maura's confirmed.

54:37Jackie Oshry:Sierra's confirmed. Like, honestly, my vote is up for grabs. None of my, like, absolute faves are in. Like, I love Maura. I love Sierra. But, like, my number ones have not been cast yet. So, like, last season, I was like, well, Alex Earl has my vote. You know, it's kind of obvious.

54:53Claudia Oshry:Well, we still have probably, like, ten more people we're going to find out.

54:56Jackie Oshry:Yeah. But you never can, like, guess who's going to be your fave. Of course, I fell for Andy Richter. Right.

55:01Claudia Oshry:Right. who was i voting for let me check oh yeah my texts are like i need to search like whitney whitney let's see

55:17Claudia Oshry:oh my god i found it okay i was voting for andy and jen andy and jen whitney alex oh you were voting for jen your postpartum like sister oh and elaine got a couple of my votes Elaine. Elaine, Elaine, Elaine. Oh, I really liked her that week.

55:34Jackie Oshry:They haven't announced athletes yet, whether they usually pluck from the major sports leagues, the Olympics. Maybe a FIFA World Cup soccer star will like someone from the American team. Maybe. Brooklyn Beckham. Wait, did you see part two? No. Part two of the commercial was released. There was no big reveal. It was the same thing. He basically orders DoorDash and gives the stack of tickets, which he had just thrown on the table. He gives it to the driver and is like, leave them somewhere fun. And I guess they're like giving away tickets. That's the whole concept. He's like, oh, I don't need them.

56:04Jackie Oshry:It's like, yeah, because you're an unemployed slob. I'm like. Hold on. No. I'm wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 at home. Not wondering. It's not like I don't have tickets. It's because the long story. For brother? Yes. These can go to someone else. Hey.

56:27Claudia Oshry:Put them somewhere fun. Why couldn't the driver have them? Oh, so the whole concept is that he's giving away his tickets because he doesn't want to be with his family because he's disgusting and great. Yeah, so you're saying your family gave you tickets and you won't go. Because you won't be near your family, so he's giving them to someone else. But why can't the door desk driver have them for him and his family?

56:49Jackie Oshry:I want to say that at this present moment, there is nobody in modern media or culture who I currently hold a lower opinion of than Brooklyn Beckham. He is the new - I was a little - I was on the bridge. I was on the fence. I was always Team David, but I could understand him. I now have a severe dislike for him.

57:09Claudia Oshry:He is Prince Harry. I think this is disgusting. Yes. Like, what they've done is the same, and then, like, what they're doing is the same. Begging for privacy, privacy, showing me your vagina. No, and, like, stop. You can have a rift with your family. You can find them to be, like, toxic, and it's not - It's not the right environment for you and your feelings. To tell the whole world, like the dirty details of what happened between you all is so classless. To monetize off of it. And especially at your such a high level. It's not like you're some like Z-lister who needs to keep the wheel spinning.

57:43Claudia Oshry:You're at such a high level. Your wife is a billionaire. You are a millionaire. Your parents, her parents, same with Meghan and Harry. They have, you know, opportunities for days. You didn't need to do it.

57:54Jackie Oshry:Yeah. And also the Beckhams are, I don't even want to say A-list. They are an upper echelon of fame. They're very global. He's, you know, knighted by the queen. Like they're on the same level as at one point, like Harry and Meghan, the Obamas. Yes. Like very upper echelon. So all in all, I've never disliked someone more. I, knowing that he doesn't need the money, a lot of times I can make more excuses for people who like need the money. Yes. This is the definition.

58:23Claudia Oshry:Like a reality star who thrives off of this and it will pay for their next thing. Like, okay. But they have so much money.

58:30Jackie Oshry:And it warmed my heart to open up the comments and see everyone agreed with me tenfold. Like just the disrespect. They're hard people to dislike. Like sometimes, like I think a lot of people with Harry and Meghan were rooting for them in the beginning. Because like you could come up with a million reasons to dislike the royal family, right? There's really not a lot you can dislike about the Beckhams. They're beloved in sports, in fashion, in music, in the UK and America. Like people just love them. So to go out on your own and never give us a good reason and not like monetize it and you just look like a spoiled brat.

59:02Jackie Oshry:No one. It's really hard to get people on your side here, Brooklyn.

59:04Claudia Oshry:And to like tell us the thing, some of the things that happened, which were clearly the worst things that happened because you're trying to get us on your side. And it's like that your mother loves you so much and did a dance at your wedding and you didn't feel like it was special enough for you. Like, shut up.

59:17Jackie Oshry:No, and also like everyone on a big and a small scale has like mother-in-law drama at their wedding. Like you leave it at the wedding. Yeah. Yeah. That's just what it is. Yeah. Sorry.

59:29Claudia Oshry:Yeah. That's really crazy. I hate him. What was the story that led into this? Guillermo. Guillermo.

59:36Jackie Oshry:Oh, yeah. Oh, so I don't know why I brought him up. Oh, because FIFA World Cup. Yeah, they're going to have athletes. What if they have Brooklyn Beckham?

59:42Claudia Oshry:I'm telling you, like that's the level that we're at. I mean, Meghan and Harry could be on next. she's apparently that would be good i mean i can't ever trust the headlines but like people are saying she's like really in like trouble because they have like five million dollars worth of as ever inventory that's about to expire because it's like oh i saw the as ever inventory

1:00:00Jackie Oshry:issue um it's possible although they were always selling out so how are they right a lot of people

1:00:10Claudia Oshry:fake sell out a lot of people fake sell out so they can create demand and then release it again that's like a normal business practice that's like a smart marketing strategy yeah it's marketing

1:00:20Jackie Oshry:um i don't know of all their like things i don't think like as ever is going to be the thing that like because also netflix what they had investors like i don't think as ever is going to be the thing that financially breaks them well no but like maybe i think maybe what's going to break

1:00:32Claudia Oshry:them is never fulfilling any of their commitments i don't think this will financially break them but like who's going to really take a chance on them again yeah all the inventory is paid for and she has investors and this I don't think but like this is if this goes down like it is such a stain

1:00:47Jackie Oshry:add it to the list of stains well yeah it's not a bigger stain than anything else but at some point they will have knocked down every door whether it's you know partners to stream with people to invest they're kind of running out of options but let me tell you Netflix they did the

1:01:00Claudia Oshry:Disney I'm on the website and the shit's pargy the shit is pargy I've gotten the jams they are so good. My husband devoured them. It is insane that she cannot sell these things and it just speaks to like the lack of relationship she's established with any fan base that she's had.

1:01:21Jackie Oshry:She did not cultivate. She did not move smart. I feel like after many years she finally decided to like lean into the home space with the cooking show and then the products but it was so fast. It was so quick. We've got one season here's my gems and my edible flowers it should have been a long slow roll post cook like over the course over the course of years that's yeah it was such a cash grab so clearly people did not respond to it because it was so but we were just doing books like it was just not cohesive if she had over the course of many years like started releasing like high quality instagram content recipes brought back the tig did more lifestyle then did a show then launched a brand it was like we went from one thing to the next you were also doing confessions of a female founder while selling jam.

1:02:06Claudia Oshry:Like it was so not cohesive. No, and like you're learning on the show. So you're not an expert yet. Your show is like explaining to us that you don't know how to do anything. Right. So why are we going to treat you like an expert? I just want to say I'm on the site, the complete as ever pantry box. So it's like one of everything. It's on sale and it looks really good. I kind of want to buy it. So here's what comes. But save that apricot jam. Ben loved it. Raspberry spread, orange marmalade, strawberry spread. Yeah. Oh, that was it. Orange marmalade. honeys lemon ginger tea there's a candle edible flowers candle uh flower sprinkles of course lots of teas you should buy it i kind of want it but is it like about to expire oh she has chocolates you have to buy it like just for the research maybe we'll do like an unboxing or something it's actually insane that this website looks so much like the buckingham palace gift shop website and it's like if you wanted to sell jams like you could have had a jam line over there yeah the final jam they are going back to the uk i don't know if you saw big

1:03:07Jackie Oshry:news they're taking the kids what are they doing there i'm not sure what it was for but it's like historic for them because i don't think they've brought the kids back yet i didn't last two or

1:03:17Claudia Oshry:the only two times they've gone yeah have been solo yeah because of like security right i didn't mean to like promote her products but i'm feeling very influenced right now like cream rises and

1:03:29Jackie Oshry:I don't care who you are, what you are. If your shit's good, your shit's good.

1:03:32Claudia Oshry:They have a bundle called the Go To Hostess Gift. And so like now I want to get it for like the next time I go to someone's house. What an amazing gift. It's on sale for$132.

1:03:40Jackie Oshry:That's just kind of how I feel about Ben Platt. You know, the cream rises. Like the shit's good. Like.

1:03:44Claudia Oshry:Yeah. But it's like everything here. She has everything that it takes to like, you know, she has the branding. The website. The infrastructure. Yeah. And the manufacturing and the production. She just doesn't have the customers. because it's like this should be ballerina farm yeah no and if she had been more thoughtful about it like from the get just wanted to become like a like a martha stewart she just should have been

1:04:08Jackie Oshry:more thoughtful they were just so obvious in their cash grab and i understand that they had needs security yada yada it was not thoughtfully done no she should like sell the definition of

1:04:22Claudia Oshry:overexposed yeah but like i don't know the entity like they should sell it like white label it to someone else yeah give the keys to someone who could like turn it on someone else to turn the

1:04:34Jackie Oshry:lights on someone else you like it should be as ever jacques with with love folet with love folet i love that i love that just something to think about oh my gosh me what was the story oh brooklyn

1:04:51Claudia Oshry:back on guillermo but that was the fourth story it was sort of the fourth story i do have another fifth one which is like the rumors are starting to come out about what happened between jelly roll and bunny oh my god what are they saying i haven't heard this so behind the scenes they're saying that it's due to changing lifestyles which some of this does like track based on what's going on in the public sources are saying some people around them felt there was growing tension as jelly has embraced a more faith-centered lifestyle while bunny continued building the outspoken and provocative brand that had always been authentic to her.

1:05:21Claudia Oshry:Whether that's fair or not, it became increasingly difficult to reconcile those two worlds. The insider claims a lot of people want to point to one thing, but it was really a combination of issues that have been building for years. They came from similar worlds when they met and bonded over surviving difficult circumstances, but over time their lives started moving in different directions. Jelly has changed tremendously over the last few years. His focus shifted to his health, faith, family, and the long-term legacy he wants to leave behind bunny on the other hand you know just two days ago sharing steamy photo of herself wearing satin lingerie um with like her strap coming down and she captioned it she's getting her sparkle back the person said bunny has always unapologetically been herself and while that's something jelly's admired about her there were times when it felt like they were no longer aligned with where he saw his life heading or what he envisioned for the future also she has opened up in january about how they were trying to have a baby via ivf yes so there were difficult conversations about expanding their family timing and what they both wanted their future to look like those discussions became more complicated as his

1:06:22Jackie Oshry:career continued to explode you know what actually that does make sense um I did think that a lot of his like transition to like faith music content like felt a little performative in the sense that like he saw a space for himself like in the music industry and but it's good to know that that was just like a wrong feeling that i had and it actually is how he's changed in real life so much so that he can't even be with his wife anymore because she's like not on his level um i thought it was like a little bit of like a career move like a convenient position for him

1:06:54Claudia Oshry:to take but good to know that that's wrong not true yeah oh i didn't i don't think too hard about his like values you know because i'm just like it always felt so corny like when even when he

1:07:03Jackie Oshry:made his speeches like i don't just like very drama and i'm here because of the lord like it was very like oh interesting it was such a quick change oh i was like oh you just like want to now be like he did a lot of music with um brandon what's his name like yeah hard for hallelujah yeah which was great i thought it was just maybe like he saw success there so he leaned more into it but no it's actually like a real change he's going through oh interesting i didn't like really

1:07:27Claudia Oshry:know him before he became like this guy so that's always like sort of what i saw him as i just figured like the the um enlightenment happened like after his incarceration and whatnot and he's just like been on this better path but also like it's evident that he's changing on his health like look at him he's a different person and he probably is he's doing five days with 30 like right has you know those sorts of things people grow apart in that way but it's really crazy to think about that they could like survive the craziest things but not just like a little

1:07:57Jackie Oshry:a little godly loving you know what's funny is that like jelly roll is like such a famous person who's gone through like such a dramatic weight loss and there's been like no think pieces or discussions made about whether or not he used ozempic like i imagine that he did right it's just funny like nobody cares like i think of like lizzo or like people who have lost as we are always did they did they're so like especially for like women like we're always obsessed with whether or not they did ozempic or weight loss surgery or how did they do it like how did jay jayle do it i'm sure he talked about it like i'm sure he like it's not a big discussion

1:08:32Claudia Oshry:yeah let's see has he just like said he's on glp ones and i'm sure he is like you're overweight

1:08:39Jackie Oshry:your whole life and like only recently you lost weight it's like because there's this new amazing

1:08:42Claudia Oshry:thing and that's also like everyone who's always been like you know extra 10 pounds like who's all of a sudden like rail thin glp one yeah katie berry that's the definition she's always been

1:08:54Jackie Oshry:fit yeah but she's she's never been this skinny she's lean she is she's not one ounce of fat on

1:09:00Claudia Oshry:heart so it's like oh what changed oh so jelly rolls approach to weight loss initially involved considering a glp1 medication but he ultimately decided to achieve his transformation naturally sure i mean that's like chris jenner saying i didn't like glp1s but i'm on a peptide

1:09:14Jackie Oshry:oh well peptides i just saw the funniest tweet you know they're selling peptides peptides are like about to become some ass market they're selling them at bodegas there was a bodega that had signed come get your peptides what is a peptide what the fuck is a peptide i don't know what it is but like when I'm done having babies like I'm gonna be on every single one like right now I'm a little bit more particular people will be like there's a peptide for your skin for your hair like there there's a what now wait I just saw tiktok there's actually a peptide because

1:09:40Claudia Oshry:okay what does that mean there's a peptide I think it means an injection okay but why aren't we saying and it's an injection because it maybe I think don't quote me on this it's a hormone but But also my Hailey Bieber lips are peptide.

1:09:53Jackie Oshry:Right. Well, I heard there's a peptide, an injection that like causes a melanin production. So it's like instead of getting spray tans, you can actually produce more melanin in your skin. Because I saw TikTok being like, I thought there was like a bad spray tan epidemic. But it turns out a lot of celebrities are now taking this peptide. I forgot the name of it. To produce melanin. Very interesting.

1:10:14Claudia Oshry:Any one that we can look to? I don't want to say who. Because it was just speculation. But who are they speculating of a ledge? Ella Langley. Ella Langley.

1:10:27Jackie Oshry:That's funny. Because if you look at pictures of celebrities in the past who were just like, you know, paler. And it's not a spray tan. But it could be, or it could be the peptide.

1:10:37Claudia Oshry:That is very interesting. Yeah. But so yeah, like, oh, so Jelly Roll's like not on GLP ones.

1:10:44Jackie Oshry:But all I'm saying is like, think about how many times we've like thought and talked extensively about like a public weight loss even if they denied it we're like well she's definitely on it like nobody cares how jelly rolls losing his weight like just men aren't really interesting to me

1:10:57Claudia Oshry:that's beautiful like personally that's why i'm not asking yeah no and men weight loss is not

1:11:02Jackie Oshry:personally male weight loss is not interesting because it's so simple it's like you eat less and you lose weight but you still get to eat a lot yeah right where the woman is like you have three grapes in a day and you gain a pound like it's just that's interesting yeah and i i can't

1:11:16Claudia Oshry:relate to male weight loss I don't find it interesting and I don't care that's why personally I'm harder on the women if you were wondering like my biases about you personally yeah yeah though I don't feel like I'm harder on I don't feel like I'm hard on anyone you know what's so

1:11:29Jackie Oshry:funny is it's true you keep your foot on her neck actually it's funny because I did a Q &A yesterday and somebody asked me a question and it was so true because like we're sort of like we're very desensitized now to Ozempic but there was a time where it was like a witch hunt right like Like, and I remember I used to like live in fear that people would find me out. And I was like, girl, it couldn't be more obvious. Like you've been fat forever. But like someone was like, do you feel resentful that like now people are on it all the time. It's like, we don't even question it. We don't like witch hunt.

1:11:56Jackie Oshry:It's like so desensitized. Whereas like when you were on it, it was like the speak, she was like, do you feel resentful? And I was like, well, yeah, now that you've put it that way, I do. Like I'd never thought about it, but it's like the way we, even just now, so casually, I said like Katy Perry's probably on his epic. It used to be this like very hot button issue. Yeah. Yeah. I guess it was. it's just deflated now it's like well yeah everyone's on it yeah and the thing that people said was gonna happen like did happen which is everyone is super super skinny like the body standard has really shifted the plus size movement is over we are not body positive like we're losing weight like everything they said was gonna happen because of ozempic did happen but also like obese people are less obese and like i think that's great yeah like people who clinically needed it Like, yeah, we're all talking about like Ariana Grande, but like, what about like the people from the special?

1:12:46Jackie Oshry:Yeah, right. What about Jelly Roll?

1:12:47Claudia Oshry:It's the Ariana Grande to Jelly Roll pipeline. Like, so we have to, and that's what you were talking about with her. It's like, you want to also be critical about very overweight people if you're going to be critical about very underweight people. And, and that's, if you want to name them, like that's fine with me.

1:13:02Jackie Oshry:Well, I'm not going to name them, but I did just see something that like, it was very much what I was saying. It was a video of like a severely overweight celebrity. And the comments were like, why aren't we like saying Ariana? Why aren't the comments here like Ariana Grande? Text me who it was.

1:13:19Claudia Oshry:And then like, if you're feeling brave, you could share because I'm never going to say it. Oh, my gosh. I'm so curious who it is. I kind of have a thought of who it could be.

1:13:34Claudia Oshry:Oh, interesting. I thought you were going to say this person's not severely overweight, but like. they've obviously gotten to an unhealthy place.

1:13:41Jackie Oshry:No, like there's, I'm talking about like being fat is like, I'm fat right now. Like being fat is not, I'm talking about like severe, like morbid obesity. Understood. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think if someone's like currently like, like carrying, I want to say up to 40 extra pounds, like they need their comments to be like, you're in danger. I'm talking about like how it's really extreme Ariana Grande, right? I'm talking about extreme overweight.

1:14:05Claudia Oshry:There's just not a lot of celebrities. No, there's not. Yeah, so there's like two. Everyone's going to know who I'm talking about. I actually don't think so. I never would have guessed. Okay. Okay, that's your show. Yeah. That's your show, you guys, and that's your week of toast.

1:14:23Jackie Oshry:Yes. If you're looking for more content, I just uploaded a new Patreon, not to be so drama, but people do always ask about my hair. And you have amazing hair. I try to do a hair tutorial every two years because it does change, and my hair tutorial has actually recently changed a lot. But for Dear Media, by night I got my hair professionally glammed. And my girl Allison, like, she was using all this, like, new stuff. And I had her send me links. So kind of major changes. I stopped using a Dyson Airwrap.

1:14:48Claudia Oshry:Yeah, it's all. And then I also, in part. I stopped using a Dyson Airwrap.

1:14:52Jackie Oshry:AMA. Yeah, and I also did an AMA. I answered a bunch of questions about, like, I actually shared some, like, secret project. I didn't even tell you about it. Like, I shared, like, a couple of secret project reveals. I was just kind of being a big mouth. And I shared just, like, some stuff. Q &A, hair tutorial in depth. I seriously can't with you. Yeah, I know. Like years of work. That's why I didn't tell you.

1:15:10Claudia Oshry:Just for you to blurt it out in your AMA.

1:15:13Jackie Oshry:By the way, I was very vague. Okay. So that is our show. Patreon is going to be popping off for the remainder of the week. We have a new episode dropping tomorrow and one that dropped last night.

1:15:23Claudia Oshry:Yeah, because even though we're not doing the toast tomorrow, we are going to be doing a pop culture episode for tomorrow to get you through the day. The weekend. Because we're very giving like that.
