Welcome back to the toast. I was stuttering because what day is it? Thursday? Thursday. Oh, wow. I mean, well-earned. Ladder half LH. LH levels are high. LH levels are high. We are coming to you live from a Pardy Day in New York City. and of course Florida. Pardy day per use. Pardy day per use. I have so many things I need to talk about this morning. Oh wow, so you want to dilly-dally today. Not dilly-dally. Well now that Dear Toasters is behind us and we do have Summer House Recap which the TV recap obviously is going to go off without a hitch.
1:09Don't worry. I do feel a little bit more relaxed than yesterday. I also think we satiate. I don't know if you saw the commenters. Like they, the DTQ put down their pitchforks. For now. No, no. So the GTQ put down their pitchforks and the people who do not like your eh pick those pitchforks right back up. Do you have something to say to your haters? I do. I do. I hear those complaints and all I have to say is eh.
1:34Great response. Thanks. Like you guys, everything's a phase with me. If you don't like this one, just wait for the next one. Like don't you know that by now? It's a wave. You just got to ride it out, you guys. Like eh. Like I didn't even realize how much I was saying it. Now I'm so aware of it. So hopefully I don't start saying it more. but like it's funny you'll be okay everyone you guys she might start saying it more i don't want to threaten you but just roll with it you know like imagine like everything that came out of your mouth someone was like i don't like that one i don't like that one and i don't like that one no as i have to be free to be me like are you guys crazy it's like that song free to be me it's like that song um so that's actually not what i wanted to talk about but it did come up nicely.
2:16No, but the DTQ has been satiated until Tuesday. Like, every Tuesday is ground hard to stay with them. And, like, all the goodwill we've earned will mean nothing on Tuesday if we don't hit them with another DT. Three. Three. That's not what I wanted to talk about. The first thing I wanted to talk about was I got Cloud Popcorn. Mmm. Cloud with a K. Of course. It was delivered, and I tasted it. We talked a lot about, extensively I would say, about Khloe Kardashian's new popcorn protein company. and I was a little skeptical. I was. You guys know me. And I wanted to see, first of all, so important how it tastes.
2:53I got three flavors. They come in three flavors, but I only tried the white cheddar, which I had heard was the best. And also what I'm going to open three bags of popcorn. That's just wasteful. They'll all go stale. They'll all go stale. They also sent one to Ben. Ben, it arrived. Ben was like, oh, this is for me. I'm like, no, it's not. He saw like food. He's like, he thinks he's like the food influencer in the house. I'm like, no, that's mine. But there were two. There were two. Yeah, one was his. Let me tell you what's delicious, actually delicious. And I'm not in a place right now where like I'm needing protein snacks.
3:22Like that's just another Turney's time. This is not current Turney. Current Turney needs like mid-fat snacks. I had a cupcake for dinner last night. But I could see a time in my life where I would be munching on cloud popcorn. And it was very good. Okay, good. I'm waiting for my delivery. Should be any day now. We got delayed here on the East Coast. Like everyone out West is eating their clouds. gorging on it. PR went out like a second wave in New York. I heard that New York was delayed. I actually did hear that from an influencer. I mean from an insider. And I'm actually, let me tell you who told me that.
3:57Okay? I know who it is. You know who it is? How do you know? Yeah. Because I just have a feeling does her name start with an E? No. Oh, okay. Gotcha. It was very good. I'm excited for you to try it. Maybe you try a different flavor even though it's widely. I'm eating all three like tonight. Oh, tonight. If it arrives. Like I'm going to turn on what's Paul American. New episode drops. I'm going to sat down with my cloud popcorn in my prime. Jackie, are we going to start updating the weekly schedule to include Friday's Paul American recap? I just want to say in all of my love for Paul American, I've been a weekly watcher.
4:33I rarely actually watch it on Thursday nights. I'm not watching it tonight. It's something I enjoy so much. Ben enjoys it. We need to save it for like a Saturday. It's like it's a treat. And I have to pack. I have so much to do. before I come to New York to see my swirl. Ba-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. Jax is coming to NYC. Oh, that's exciting. I also thought you were coming a day earlier, so I've been, like, preparing all week. I'm like, oh, my God, she's coming. And it turns out you're coming the day after. So I, like, my whole weekend just got fucked up, so. I'm sorry, but we will have a lot of fun when I do arrive.
5:04Yeah, we will. And that's a threat. Yeah. So I have a lot to do. So Paul American, like, might be my treat for a job well done. Okay, I can also, we can watch it together. You want to come over on Sunday? Zach and Ben like we could literally have the whole family yeah let's do it they they would love it you would love it um speaking of Zach and Ben more specifically Ben huge night last night for the Brunson boys not only did they win and I like I've been pretty hard on basketball because I'm really into sports like I'm very sporty basketball is definitely the most boring one like it's seriously not a cool sport like run up and run down and run up and run down and they like are embarrassing themselves like they get like a little bit of a shove and they fall on the floor they call it like a flop or whatever you make yourself look so dramatically injured so that you get the foul and it's like oh okay is this mcbeth or basketball like they're being so dramatic yeah it actually gives me the ick i saw lebron do it last week that one went viral yeah and it's really icky lebron is also like known it's it's a good skill to have you're getting more points because you're getting the free throws but like when you have to do what What about your manhood?
6:08Yeah, right. When you have to do the art of flip-flopping, like it's actually disgusting looking. And so these are like big macho men. And I just see that. I'm like, get up. I feel like the single players don't do it. Only the ones that are married in a long-term relationship, they know their wife has seen them through worse. But like if you're trying to get a lady, like get up, take it on the chin. It's humiliating. So I found basketball to be like really boring recently, but it was a fabulous game. And what I'm learning is like in the playoffs, so you play like two games at home, two games away, and you're expected to win your home games.
6:41So when you lose one, it's like a really big deal. The Celtics now lost both, which is really crazy because they're just like a better team. They're higher ranked. So Ben was freaking. I was actually like really into it last night. The Brunson boys were popping the fuck off. And it was kind of a thrill. I'm not going to lie. And I was being such an active participant in my husband's life. Is he going to the games at MSG? Yes. I told him to go this weekend because you'll be in town to babysit me. even though that was when I thought you were coming a day earlier. So I did prematurely tell Ben he could go, I'll figure it out.
7:11But with you in town for the next couple of weeks and obviously when you come to town, Ben doesn't exist. And it's like I have my nephews. I have a lot of responsibilities. And he's only Uncle Ben. Unless he wants to be an uncle, husband duties, gone. Correct. Brother-in-law, gone. If you love something, set them free. So I told him he could go to the next two games. But he is, you know, every time I look over at his phone, He's either in the Brunson Boys chat or on StubHub. It's like, he's like, you have to check every 30 seconds. You never know. Yeah. I'm sure it'll work out for him. Those things do work out for Ben.
7:43For Ben. And Ben alone. So it was a thrill. Although there was, the third thing I wanted to talk about, a little bit of a dent in our evening. Because Ben and I did discover we think we're pretty sure Romeo has cancer. Now that's obviously a huge. You guys are pretty sure that every dog has cancer. You've tried to convince me Bruno has cancer. I do think Bruno has cancer, but let me just say that. And that was over a year ago when you made your prognosis. And I just want to be clear. And he's still jumping on the bed. I just want to be clear. From the first time that Theo started acting weird till the death, like it was over a year.
8:21We couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. So it starts out like these little weird things that Bruno was doing. And last night, Romeo was doing. So me and Ben were freaking because this whole Theo thing started. He wouldn't jump up on the bed. He was like afraid of our bed. And then he would go and hide in our bathroom. We were like, oh, he's having some behavioral issues. And they thought it was arthritis. It was like a long journey to figure out that he was actually just dying of cancer. Last night, Romeo was like sleeping on the floor. Okay, like, what are you? A big dog. No, it's not.
8:50Romeo's not a dog. Romeo's not a dog. And then he was hiding in the bathroom. So me and Ben were like, oh, he's cancer. and we said to one another like if Romeo has cancer we are never getting a dog like ever again like because it would be so right like it would be it's us like we're killing these dogs like what is it no I that's not even why I think that's fair I just think like you can't go through this again no no when you start your family like to have like it's just trauma upheaval and trauma yeah like you're not doing it again no so tbd on if his actual prognosis is cancer but like i'm telling you i'm sniffing some things out and it's giving cancer well keep us posted i have some theories okay i would love to hear them i just we'll talk offline you know because they're not fully fleshed out so i don't want to sound like crazy oh okay you're a romeo conspiracy theorist is what you're saying i think it's bigger than romeo oh you think it's the elements you think New York City's making him sick.
9:55Hmm. Well, that wouldn't explain Bruno's cancer.
10:02If we don't laugh, we'll cry. Do you think Magnolia has cancer? No. That's okay. That's what I said to Ben last night. That's so funny that you said that. Because I was like, what is it with like these dogs that we get? Like they all have cancer. And Ben was like, yeah, but we also get like the most special dogs. I'm like, it's so true. Magnolia is going to live forever.
10:25which was mean, but hysterical stuff. No. And you know what? Magnolia will live forever. Yeah. Magnolia's got something, but it's not, it's not what Theo and it's not cancer. Yeah. Yeah. So that's what's going on in my home. What's going on in yours? Well, I made a beautiful soup yesterday. I saw a chunky soup. It was very exciting. I had literally had six bowls, like breakfast, lunch and dinner. And it was exactly what I wanted. so because it's the one you got yeah no so i was very happy about it i made it from the magazine that i bought at the grocery store i always buy those magazines i only made a few recipes i do i do wonder who buys those they're so fabulous they're not as heavy as a cookbook and they're not like typical magazines it's not like people and okay no it's like all rest they're made by allrecipes.com but there are also like celebrity ones too oh yeah like joanna gains like has a magazine no this is just like a recipe magazine and whenever i see a good one i pick it up and I add it to my cook like it's brilliant.
11:24Archie. So I really loved my soup. I'm thinking I mean I have enough for today but also I saw a pasta fajol that looks good. Pasta fajol. Yeah. Oh speaking of pasta fajol something I like didn't even talk about but two nights ago me and Ben started The Sopranos. No that's weird. Yeah I know. I just like I'm in this ever since Paul American ended and after Desperate Housewives we've just kind of been untethered. Yeah. And I know that this era of my life coming up I need a big chunky show. Claudia you know what you should watch. It's not going to be a big, I know what you're going to say. Love Island.
11:56No. Um, I said, it's not a big chunky show, but Jake Paul. Sure. Sure. But that's not, what's it called? Untold. Untold Jake Paul. And you know, that put me into labor. Did it? Well, I went into labor the night that I watched it. Well, I kind of like want to go into labor, but like, I also don't. It's not really convenient for you, but just know, like if you're trying to, like some people say like, walk on the sidewalk, eat spicy food, have sex. watch Untold watch Untold it's that disturbing but you love him like you'll learn so much more about him yes but that doesn't solve my current issue which is like I need a big chunky show to sink my teeth into for the next like month I thought the Sopranos would do it and we're actually enjoying it it's just moving very like tell me how I'm on episode two I've been watching for three days like it's thick might I suggest once again Royal Pains no that's it doesn't feel like it's gonna help me okay so you're just being an a-saker sure sure yeah let's let's go with that classic and then i went to the doctor yesterday and i had lots of questions about my mucus plug um he says it's possible that i've already lost it but he knows that like i'm on the lookout for it you haven't i haven't except like sometimes when i pee in the night like i don't like study the bowl and maybe i flushed it i don't think you did i don't think i did either there was like the incident uh like a week or two ago no how many weeks ago was that two or three yeah sounds right where i actually called you with my toilet paper and of course sent a photo dr fox he said that could have been it i don't think it was he also said it could still be coming i think it's coming did you ask him what happens if you get a c-section and you haven't lost your mucus plug yet like no um oh can they fish it out for me like when will it come out?
13:42Right. If I do end up getting the C-section. I didn't ask that. I didn't. I think that's something that we need to know. It is something that we need to know, but I'm not living my life like I'm getting a C-section. You know what I mean? Oh, that's good. Yeah. It's all very much up in the air right now. Well, one day at a time. Truly. Truly. What else can I tell you? You seem so interested in everything that's going on in my life. There's so much going on. There's only one other thing that I'm interested in, It's your adorable dress. Oh my God. I'm so glad you asked actually. Are you a Victoria's Secret model?
14:14It's a romper. It's so cute. Where's it from? I'm so glad you asked. I've hit a new low, obviously, in looking for maternity wares that won't break the bank. These clothes are disposable because I sweat them. You're not going to wear them in a month. Correct. I'll give you three guesses. You're never going to guess. Give me a clue. Just give me one clue so that I know which path to go down. I bought it on my phone. Like on a website? Timu? You're so close. Shein? You're getting further away. Fashion Nova? No. Okay, I'll tell you. Amazon? The TikTok shop. Oh, I was never going to guess that. No, you weren't.
14:57The TikTok shop. It came up and I was like, okay, I'm going to buy this romper. And I bought two. Now, not that making maternity clothes in sizes small through large. Like that's fucking crazy. Why? But there are people who are small who literally just got a belly and they would be a small. I'm sorry. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a small. You need XL. I'm saying XL. I need four X now. Like especially this is supposed to be like oversized. I thank God not to brag like I did fit into the large. It looks like it fits perfect. It doesn't. But thank you. Yeah, I bought something on the TikTok shop and honestly, 10 out of 10 experience.
15:32This is actually the second thing I bought on the TikTok shop. Well, what, you buy that humping saddle? No, that was Instagram Reels. I bought a t-shirt with Charlie from Twilight on it. It was, you know, those like old school, like band t-shirts. Yeah, I know. I've seen. Yeah, I bought it for our mom because she's obsessed with Charlie from Twilight. She's a tryhard. So that's actually my, it's my second purchase. I didn't want to be dishonest. So you're two for two. I'm two for two. Sweet. Even though I don't want to engage with the TikTok shop because I don't want TikTok to like think that it's working.
16:05you need a burner phone then like they keep pushing the tiktok shop on us it's so annoying you need a separate account like on your ipad yeah like you like i don't even have one on my ipad anymore you remember what happened she's free i wonder if i do actually i did and then what happened let's see i feel like we've all collectively given up on like trying to get jackie to re well the real reason why even if they could if they sort out their privacy issues Their national security issues. Yes. Oh, there's my sister. Oh, no, there's not. Did you get logged out of your finster? I got logged out. So there wasn't my sister.
16:42Okay. But even if they sort out their privacy issues, two issues remain. One, I really don't want to devote more time to my phone. So like I would have to deal with that. Two, I got logged out of my TikTok permanently. Like my sickening TikTok where I have the handle Jackie O like is connected to my college email that they disconnected. So I can't get back into my TikTok. If you guys were ever alive or present for the Jackie O TikTok era, it was so brief. She was doing dances. It was before she became a mom. You lived in that apartment with Zach. Like I remember I was in a couple of them. You had a bob.
17:18No, I didn't. No, you had like you had a short hair. Shorter than I do now, but not a bob. Like shoulder length. It was 2019, 2020. No, no, no, it wasn't. I'm sorry. I wish it was for the lore. I do. For the lore. but if you were there like it was the 80s you know it was it was a time like she was crushing trends she was having fun and it's kind of she did go viral like twice i did it was kind of like perfect like now if i came back to that like literally five years have passed it's two different people like here's my sourdough i just want to say like it's a piece of herstory if you got access to the account and posted a tiktok like i'm telling you it would go viral well I'm going to work on I'm gonna work I'm gonna work on getting access to your account you can work on it and if you do like I will log into it on my iPad you know what I I know a guy but I want you to know like I have genuinely tried maybe now we're more connected maybe there's more like TikTok reps that are looking to get premium podcast hosts back on TikTok after they lost access when you reach a certain level of like TikTok fame you get like a TikTok manager it's someone from TikTok who's like your point of contact.
18:25They invite you to events. They help you with any sort of tech issues. And I have one. I just like never reach out because I'm like such a low maintenance client. But I'll be like, listen, we need to get this handled for my swirly sister. Yeah. But then I also have so much peace not being on TikTok. Like you tell me about all this stuff, like all this drama that's going on with other people, like with us. And it literally doesn't exist to me. And it's a beautiful way to live. And I don't want to like get into the gutters i really don't and i also sometimes feel like you'll send me a tiktok and i like really want to comment on it but i can't and it's not unreal so i can't and like i feel like i would start stuff in the comments we're ready that's not what i need in my life but like i see some of these tiktoks and i'm ready to rip them a new one yes there's a lot of like brain dead folk on the platform excuse me i've seized on it it's true brain dead who could use big sis guidance you know Like some tough love from Jackie O.
19:19No, I know. But then all the other commenters would like flood in and then I would be involved in all this drama. Like I think I would get involved in too much drama, honestly. And you know what? It's kind of nice that whenever anyone's like looking for anything toasty on TikTok, they're forced just just to engage with me. So I'll stop pushing the issue. I think it's good for my engagement. I think so, too. And like you get to post all of our viral reels. Clips. Yeah, it's true. It's true. Make sure to follow me on TikTok at Girl With No Job. The Toast is also on TikTok. The Toast Pod. The Toast Pod.
19:49That's what I just got logged out of. And make sure to follow me on Instagram. Jackie Oshay. It's a fun time. It's a fun, And you can also follow me on Instagram too, if you wanted. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like you're good on followers. Yeah. No, I don't actually, I feel really good about where I'm at. No, I don't. I don't. I'm good. I'm good. Follow Jackie. Like you have a lot of followers on Instagram. Yeah. I do. Thank you for saying that. You know what I mean? I feel like we forget that sometimes. I'm constantly forgetting. Oh my God. Also, wait, drive to the doctor so when we were driving home I was like Ben you know our car seat just arrived maybe we should just like put it in the car you know and he was like okay Ben like hates when I want to like do projects so of course if we're gonna put the car seat and we gotta clean out the car so I'm like on the side of the road huffing and puffing me and Ben are fighting because I dropped these like spritz buckets and they cracked like and I'm yelling at Ben because I'm like this is how you treat our car like it was seriously like one of our lowest moments as a couple sweating fighting this girl comes out to me I love the toast I was like oh my god thank you so much and she was like really like excited like wanted to chat like she couldn't have found me in a lower moment like in my marriage in my personal life like oh and there's trash everywhere all over oh and I had just spilled this huge bag of Romeo's food our car was like such a dump and she's like asking me like questions can we take a picture i'm like oh my god of course i'm seriously like i'm sweating i'm crying ben is so mad at me i'm so mad at ben there's shit all over the street and we're trying to install a car seat like seriously that girl like she managed to find me at one of the lowest moments of my life do you have a doji moment no i'm a delight oh okay that's good yeah do you do as doji's response a story yes we are great following the story closely here.

Today's episode is also brought to you by Hiya. Hi, hi, hiya. Typical children's vitamins are basically candy in disguise. They're filled with two teaspoons of sugar, unhealthy chemicals, and other gummy additives that growing kids should just not be eating. And that's why Haya was created, a super-powered chewable vitamin. While many kids' vitamins have five grams of sugar, they are known to contribute to a variety of health issues, Haya is made with zero sugar and zero gummy additives.
23:41But it tastes great and it's perfect for even the pickiest of eaters. Haya is here to fill the most common gaps in modern children's diets to provide the full-body nourishment that kids need with a yummy taste that they love. It's formulated with the help of pediatricians and nutritional experts. It's pressed with a blend of 12 organic fruits and veggies. And then it is supercharged with 15 essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamin D, B12, C, zinc, folate, and so many others to help support immune system, energy, brain, function, mood, concentration, teeth, bones, and more. I feel like a lot of parents worry about what their kids eat, and this is just something that you can do every day.
24:11It's like a really low lift thing. Just to give you peace of mind, making sure they're getting their vitamins, their nutrients, and all their vitamins are non-GMO, vegan, dairy-free, allergy-free, gelatin-free, nut-free. So if your kid has any sort of allergy issues, it's pretty much free of most crapola. It's designed for kids two and up. It sends straight to your door. Parents have one less thing to worry about. I've seen it in action. My niece, Michaela, is obsessed. The bottle's really parchy too. It's like a toy. They put stickers on it. It's really fun. And we've worked on a special deal with Haya for their bestselling children's vitamin.

Timothy Chalamet holds Kylie Jenner close in a red carpet debut after two years of dating. No way has it been two years. It's been almost two years of dating. they attended the David D. Donatello Awards in Rome on Wednesday holding hands as they made their way to the step and repeat once on the carpet they struck various poses together he wrapped his arm around Kylie's waist as she held her hand up to touch his it was giving pregnancy announcement oh it was a little bit but it was just giving like so comfortable they knew what they were gonna do I'm so thrilled that they've made their red carpet debut because I feel like the first one is the hardest and now it will be like a normal thing for them to walk red carpets and we'll have that so random the David DiDihanatello Awards.
Read the full transcript
27:10So we thought it was going to be the Met Gala. We thought it was going to be the Oscars. No, it's the David DiDihanatello Awards. I don't know how we missed that one. But you're right. It actually makes sense because there's weirdly been like a lot of pressure put on it. I didn't realize it had been two years. That's why. I put all the pressure on them. I'm not sorry. No, but the internet too. The internet too was like waiting. And so for it to be this like random award show is probably way less stakes and it's actually a really smart thing for them to do. It is. Like it's a great rehearsal for the next big one.
27:35She looked insane. She looked insane. She is insane. Just the way that she like carries herself. Yeah. And it's funny because when you watch Kardashians, like she's actually has a lot of insecurities. But when I watch her out in the world, like this is the most confident woman in the world. And to me, that makes her the most beautiful person on earth. Even though she is also the most beautiful. But plenty of girls are beautiful, but they walk around hunched, like scared. Don't look at me. And for the first time, maybe not the first time, but like I say this every time. We see like a really cute video or photo of him.
28:05Like he becomes way more attractive to me. I've never been in the boat of people who like thought that he was an attractive person. I've actually always been confused by him and his looks and his ability to pull these insanely beautiful women. And watching Kylie just like leaned up against him and his like very casual hand around her hip. Like it was giving spot, first of all, like those little details like from the female gaze that like only a woman writer could write. It was giving that. She looked fucking insane. And I was like, oh, OK. He's cute. Like, he is cute. I still don't think he's, like, the hottest man who ever lived.
28:36But I just like when a woman lifts up a man, you know? Yeah. I have to be honest. I did not look at him. I have not looked at him. I'm looking at, like, her and the figure behind her. The side boob is insane. The side. Everything. And I just want to say, she's a tall girl. And she's wearing heels and standing up straight. And he's taller than her, which I do. He just reads small to me because he's skinny. So seeing him next to her standing up like in full glamour makes him look like a big, tall, attractive man. So I had a similar thought about his height, but it's you did say one thing incorrectly.
29:14She is not standing up straight. She is leaning a little bit. I feel if she was standing up completely straight, she would be a little bit taller than him in heels. No, but OK, well, this picture where they're walking to the carpet holding hands, she is one step behind him and actually makes him look so tall. she's 5 '6", he's 5 '10". She's 5 '6"? Shorty. That's what Google says. Shorty. Shorty get down. Wait, how tall is Kendall? I thought they were like the same height. Kim is 5 '2", Kendall's 5 '11". Kendall is, when I see Kardashians, one of them doesn't look five inches taller like between Kylie and Kendall.
29:53Let me just like look up a picture of them, but you never know if they're wearing heels. Remember their clothing company, Kendall plus Kylie? It was good stuff. It was good stuff. No, here's them at like in the Metc Alley a couple of years ago where they're both obviously wearing huge heels. Kendall's like a good six inches taller. Oh, wow. Okay. Well, Kylie just comes off as a tall person. Tim Lacey comes off as a small person. Yes. But together they fit. They fit perfectly like a puzzle piece looking for its mate all this time. And they also sat together through the award show. He won some award.
30:23The whole thing was in Italian. Did he win the David DiTanitello Award? I don't know if it was that one specifically, but I'll have to double check. And they, the whole thing was in Italian and he like had to go up. I don't know if it was like for a sketch or a skit or whatever, but they said, I saw. And she just was like, hi. Um, I just want to say, I believe that the awards, like everyone wins a David at the David Atano because he wanted the David for cinematic excellence. So the David is like the Oscar. Yeah. So they went to the, so when they're talking about it, they're like, we're going to the Davids.
30:57Got it. Got it. It doesn't roll off the tongue quite as well as the Oscars. Not like David Protein. No, it's just a kind of clunky. The Davids. They should have been sponsored by David Protein. 1000%. That should have been on the step and repeat. And what was so great about this is that we weren't expecting it, right? We were all kind of coming down from the high of thinking that maybe they were going to be together at the Met Gala. Or the next Nick game. We weren't even looking. I was off guard. We weren't looking. And it was in another time zone. So it's noon here. Yeah, it was right after the toast.
31:28And my girl is out. I loved it. I will love it. I loved it. I hope that they go to the MSG next. Yeah. I hope they never lead each other's side. Do you think like the floodgates are just completely open now or they'll still continue to be quite measured in their public appearances? I think measured. It reminds me a lot of Kim and Pete when we were like, when are they going to walk the carpet together? Even though they didn't date for nearly this long and they wound up doing some like weird carpet. They did the Met Gala. In D.C. first. That was their first one. Oh, oh, oh. At White House Correspondents Dinner.
31:58Was it White House? I feel like it wasn't even. It was like the losery one, like not White House correspondents, like White House. It was like five thousand correspondents. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But it was like the same backdrop. Yes, totally. But it was, again, like a dry run. And then they did the Met Gala. But it's not like all of a sudden we started seeing them and then they got married and had children. So I do think this is like a special treat for us and we shouldn't get used to it. And I hope by me saying that, that I'm completely wrong and that we get it all the time now. It's possible we have been wrong before.
32:26praying praying this was a great little wednesday treat thanks kylie truly she did it for the fans like she knew how desperate we were club chalamet not taking it well club chalamet had also like been on hiatus before the met gala i think in anticipation that they would walk the carpet together and the second that they didn't club chalamet made her return to social media for those who don't know what club chalamet is can you just give like elevator pitch it's a twitter account that has now become like synonymous with timothy chalamet um because it's just this older woman who's dedicated her like a fan club for timothy chalamet run by one woman one mentally ill woman and up until recently it was just like a twitter account like any other celebrity twitter account that like updates you on the comings and goings of your favorite celebrity but people started to notice like a year ago like some of the rhetoric the language being used was like really fucking crazy.
33:20And so people became obsessed and she started to spiral when Kylie came into the picture. She fucking hates Kylie. She won't even say her name. It's giving Susie Peppers from Glee. Of course she's also in love with Timothy, right? She would hate anyone who's with her man. She's a much older woman, which is just like funny to think about. So she went on hiatus. She said like, I'm taking time off. And it was a couple of days before the Met Gala. And I think everybody was like pretty much, it was like understood that Kylie and Timothy were going to be walking together. Um, so she thought she was being slick, but she just didn't want to have to address it.
33:51And she, every time Kylie and him are spotted together, she writes like these really fucking crazy subliminal tweets being like a woman scorned is a woman from hell. Like she's really nuts. Um, the second they didn't walk the back out of the red carpet together, she said, I'll be returning tomorrow. Then this thing happened. I don't know what ended up happening with Club Chalamet, but I'm genuinely wishing her the best. Yeah. Well, I'm thrilled for the rest of us. Yeah. Sad day for Chalamet. Happy day for us. It's true. So we'll take that win. Are you ready for our next story? Dochi is responding to her Dever outburst at the Met Gala and downplaying the situation.
34:29So she posted a TikTok with a song. What was the song? Oh, The Commodore's Easy. Easy like Sunday morning. It's a trending song right now. And the trend that goes along with it is like where you're like, how do I explain it? It's like you're talking about like something crazy or like one of your bad traits being like, God forbid, a woman is in business, you know, like, yeah, you're just like making excuses for like a crazy thing you did one time, you know, like God forbid a woman says. Right. God forbid a woman expresses herself. So that's how you would do it. Yeah. She said, God forbid, a girl needs more umbrellas.
35:09Umbrellas. Then she posted saying, all jokes aside, this was such an overstimulating night, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. This was the night we all dreamed of and my team killed it. Umbrellas aside. Crying emoji. So it's a strategy, right? Like when everybody's talking about this big scandal, you can either get in on the joke or pretend. I feel like it reminds me a lot of, and she's just now making news. Lea Michele is on Therapist. Yeah. Talking about. Reading. Reading. and remember when that whole thing was actively happening we kept saying on the toast we were like lia michelle like running from this rumor makes everyone think it's true like it's a better strategy to just lean in sometimes but that rumor was so harmless like it was funny it's not the same it would have been more comparable to the lia michelle bullying rumors right it's not the same so i feel like doji's like downplaying what actually happened and that's why this is not a good strategy normally i'm a big fan of this strategy like get in on the joke it this too shall pass but she's actually making it worse I think I agree and I know my advice yesterday was to just like like lean into this not be like I'm so like pretend like you're not that person because like we saw who you are but I wouldn't have said to do this I if she would have been better off ignoring it and posting like a long thing about the Met Gala long to the point of boring all of us which is a good strategy about how she was so like happy to be there and was such a special night and thank you to everyone and like just literally glazed over it yeah because now it seems like you know we all heard the way you spoke to people and now it seems like that's something that like you're like yeah it's I I'm like I would have been able to get over it but now I'm like okay well if you're gonna talk about it like let's talk about it yeah I agree not the greatest strategy and I don't think it's playing well either for other me neither because I think the people who are like in mad like it mad at her in earnest like this is really offensive pissing them off um and then everyone else it's just like well that's not really the way to handle things right like I'm not mad at her no um but I think this is a bad response like really bad that's that's how I feel like I'm not mad like so you're so you're a diva like so you yell at people okay pop off just like make sure to not be so phony all the other times that yeah like going forward just be yourself you know 100 that's really it but no i'm not like mad no me neither big mad but yeah not i wouldn't have advised this but nobody listens to me nobody listens to us yeah and that's the problem therein lies the issue are you ready for our next story some major tv news because bravo announces literally bravo woke up yesterday and said how can we make the swirly so happy like what would just make their life how can we cater to getting jackie and claudia back to being obsessed with bravo how can we get jackie and claudia to do four bravo recaps a week and this is what they literally this is what they put together and i have to say a plus a no notes no notes they are introducing a new real housewives called real Housewives of Long Island.
38:19Parjalish. I always give a new franchise a shot. I love a first season. 1 ,000%. I think there have been so many cities where people have been begging, like, give us Nashville. Give us Chicago. And it's almost like there's too much pressure now. And people have precast those shows in their minds. So for them to go totally rogue Rhode Island, there is a lot of money on Rhode Island. It's also like a very niche subculture. It's a perfect selection. With like a distinct style, a distinct way of life. I think it'll be. And it's very trendy right now. like that coastal grad it's really smart I'm like I'm excited love then they're doing wife swap with Real Housewives edition which I feel like in all of our discussions over the years we have suggested a version of this this is just another uh they've actually recently gotten very good at and I think that was kind of the impetus behind a lot of the the shows that they announced yesterday is that they have these like well maybe the shows themselves didn't work they have an abundance of like stars right like Resafarihan like they don't know what to do with these stars so we were just talking earlier in the week about Bravo's Love Hotel like these sorts of quirky concepts when Sonia and Luann went to the small town and be lake but like did anybody watch I can't I don't know if you could I did it was good oh my god it was the funniest like I was actually howling it was the funniest thing I'd ever watch okay people loved it it was like a peacock exclusive ways to repurpose their own talent and their own shows and make it new again.
39:41Exactly. And so I think that Wife Swap is and there are so many husbands too who everybody loves. So that is actually like such a no-brainer. Hysterical. Then they're bringing back Ladies of London. I mean that's another Caroline Stanbury. Like people love her and there's so much demand for her and there's no show for her. Yeah well I just want to say they said it's going to be all new people. Meaning like Caroline. But I don't know I feel like Caroline might hear this and her and Sergio might move back to London and I do think. Right she lives in Dubai now. Yeah so let's just wait and see but the other they actually had a lot of good people on the show like Juliet and Marissa doesn't live there anymore the sandwich lady Sandwich Caprice Caprice was only on the first season she hated it Don't forget Caprice Sophie Stanberry I personally would love if they brought back some of the ladies but you know what like I'm gonna trust them they're bringing back ladies of london that's enough for me i feel like i have been shouting into a void for so many years like ladies of london was not recognized in its time it wasn't and they they're bringing it back like oh my god okay i'm fucking sat london is just a great city for like there's such wealthy beautiful women there like we have to do something and then shahs of sunset they're doing a spinoff called the valley persian style so this like you guys don't know what this means to me like I I didn't know this somebody told me and I was like sworn to secrecy did I tell you no but I also feel like you hear rumors like this all the time and like until it's announced no like like it was like like I knew like it was real like it was from a legit source um so I wasn't but I didn't know that it was going to be branded as like a spinoff of the valley which I actually think is brilliant because the valley it's kind of filling this like niche generational gap between like Gen Z reality TV watchers who love like Netflix's shows and then like the OG Bravo fans that are kind of aging a little bit.
41:39So where these like young families, like where do young moms go on reality TV? The Valley. And I think that them branding it as the Valley because like Gigi, they all have kids. They're all like growing their families. I think it's so smart. And this is exactly like every, I don't know who is confirmed. I know Gigi, Reza, and MJ are. I'm sure Mike Shoehead is not involved. These are like professional reality stars. And think about how much everybody loved MJ on Traders. They didn't even know her from Shaz of Sunset because everybody slept on Shaz of Sunset. And I also think like the way Shaz of Sunset, like we don't talk enough about Shaz of Sunset's cultural impact from so many different angles, right?
42:21Like people don't even realize like it was at a time towards the end, not so much, But like for so many years, it was really about their cultures. And this was like a group of Jewish and Muslim best friends. They went to Israel. Like they were having hard conversations. Like it was kind of doing the most from a million. And then also being like such a good dramatic TV show. Like they were having conversations nobody else was having. Like let me tell you, there was no greater show on TV than Chalice of Sunset. And I stand by that. Yeah. Maybe that will be the healing that we need. Yes. So I'm telling you, like the way like these conversations were being had, these bridges, these gaps were being bridged.
42:56Like you look like a piece of wood. Like bring back Vita, obviously. The show. Like, thank you. Like, seriously, thanks to whoever's idea this was. Yeah. I feel like they could feel us. Obviously, we have strayed from many franchises. We've been recapping Bravo a lot in the last few weeks. And maybe that's been really great for their ratings. And they're like, we need to keep the girls recapping Bravo shows. They've stopped watching literally everything else except for Summer House, Southern Charm, and Beverly Hills and the Valley. No, it definitely felt targeted towards us. In a good way. In a good way.
43:28And even if it wasn't, even this is just some coincidence, which, you know, is God-winking, really. I'm going to take it as this. Like, yeah, we're coming back. Next, work on Andy's attitude. 1 ,000%. And if you're interested in watching The Valley, like, highly recommend going back and rewatching Shots of Sunset. The first couple of seasons, remember the Lily Galici, like, era? It seriously wasn't real, you guys. And it got the Asa, her diamond water. Bring back Asa. Okay? Bring back Asa. She's dating, like, Jermaine Jackson. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She made her caftans. Like, if you were there, I was obsessed with that show.
44:09Who were the siblings? in the most recent seasons oh Mona and um Shmona no with an N the brother the brother he by the way when they arrived like the show was on its last leg like they they remind me of like the twins from Jersey you know yeah like they were just kind of like a curse on the show remember Bobby and Asifa yeah they were that couple that got cast that were so miserable with each other and then they came on the toast. Oh no, they came on the breath back in the day and we interviewed them. And then I guess she had like never watched our Shots of Sunset to recaps. So like three days later, she wrote me a nasty message being like, had I known what you had said about us on our show, I never would have agreed to come on.
44:48I'm like, okay, I'm like, whose problem is that? Not mine. Yeah, but also I barely remember this, but I feel like she came on and like we liked her. So like that's a good way to get us to start saying like better things. Her and her man were just fucking Miz. They were honestly like an early version of Michelle and Jessie. Hmm. Yeah. Because I think they were married. Yeah. Well, this is all very exciting. It is. We will. Don't take too long. You know, don't let the grass grow under your feet. Agreed. Like, let's get it popping. It's my understanding that Shows of Sunset is already in the middle of filming.
45:21Great. And the fact that they're calling it the Valley is great. But, like, we are going to be calling it Shows of Sunset. Shows of the Valley. And Real Housewives of Rhode Island, I saw, like, a collage of six ladies. So hopefully that means, it could have been anyone. But hopefully that means that things are progressing. Like hopefully these are like actively in development, not just ideas. Yeah. I don't think they announce ideas. I think that like this is what's happening. Yeah. So we'll keep you posted. 48:57Today's episode is also brought to you by Taylor Farms. A very Jackie O coded ad break if you ask me. Well I integrate all of our brands into my everyday life. Yes and especially like when with the salad company like Taylor Farms it's salads are obviously good for you like physically right. Nutrients important but there's also some a mental game going on when you eat a salad right. You think everyone's looking at me. I'm eating a salad. They know I'm a model. I am like a vision of health and like I will donate my body to science long after I'm gone. That's kind of the best part for me of eating a salad.
49:28It's like what it implies to other people. It's like when you're reading Demon Copperhead. Exactly. Reading Demon Copperhead and eating a Taylor Farm salad at the same time, peak human experience. So Taylor Farms Chopped Salad Kits, it's so easy to get your salad together. They come in so many flavors. Sweet kale, Caesar, avocado ranch, Mediterranean crunch. They're super fresh. They're crisp and delicious. The whole family will love them. Also, they're just easy. Because sometimes when you think of a salad in a bag, you're thinking brown. You're thinking crusty. You're thinking wilted. You're thinking wilted.
49:57You're thinking, how long has this been sitting on the shelf? With Taylor Farms, the ingredients are so fresh, pre-chopped, pre-washed. You could literally eat it straight out of the bag. A lot of people like to do it up. I've seen people rip up turkey slices and throw them in the bag, just shake it. You can. I don't judge. How you eat your Taylor Farms is more personal than comedy, but I like to plate mine. So grab a Taylor Farms chopped salad kit and get your salad together, okay? Slay. Slay. That always makes me hungry. I am always hungry. Like that's just like a fact of life these days. That too.
50:29But now specifically I need a Taylor Farm salad while I sit beachside. I try to put all of our like food related ad copy at the end of the show. Because if it's at the beginning we won't be able to focus. Because we're so fat. We are fat. Are you ready for our next story? Mm-hmm. Shifting gears. Liam Payne's ex Cheryl Cole takes over the singer's$32 million fortune after he died without a will. So Liam Payne's ex Cheryl Cole was appointed an administrator of the late singer's$32 million estate after he died last year without a will. The TV personality Cheryl Cole, who has an eight-year-old son with Liam, and music industry lawyer Richard Mark Bray were named as co-administrators in court documents obtained by Rolling Stone on Wednesday.
51:13the duo will determine decisions regarding Payne's money, property, and belongings. I mean, this is really shocking that A, a celebrity, but B, a celebrity with this high of a net worth, like this much cash, would be left without a will, especially when you have a child. Like, I think most people only have wills once they become a parent. But in this particular industry, when you have a lot of money, you just create a will. It's like sort of what's done for you by like your lawyers and your business managers. So I find this really shocking. I think a lot of people are like thinking it's weird Because him and Cheryl aren't together And like what about Kate, his fiance But I do feel this is appropriate I feel it's appropriate too They're also going to be managing the money They have limited authority And they can't distribute it So it's not like she just earned$32 million And I imagine like most of the money is going to go to his son And that's what he would have wanted And it is, you know, a little crazy That someone with his net worth Who has a child like didn't have a will However, he's really young and I feel like it's actually it's not as crazy as if like a 70 year old doesn't have a will like it's just something that I feel like you think oh yeah I'll do that I'll do that and then if you don't do it and it's too late like I I could see how it's when I saw that I was I wasn't so shocked it's unfortunate but hopefully it was like a tragic untimely death right but hopefully between Cheryl and the businessman like they will do it it'll be well taken care of I don't think this is going to be like shady or anything Liam would have wanted anyway I also like just because I'm nosy I do find it interesting like what life as a former One Direction member who didn't like go on to do a million other things like you know I think maybe 31 million of his 32 are from One Direction and then the other million is like from various things he's done and I would say much more than I thought it would be yes and I think that like Harry and Niall probably have way more money but knowing they all walked away from this band with something like this and he's probably done well for himself just like investing and like you have people for that to take care of your money um i found that like not to be nosy i just found it particularly interesting especially because we've been told that like those x-factor contracts those simon cowell contracts are like predatory yeah and you get no money but they had such unbelievable success that like i think they eventually a short time period and i also want to say i actually feel like there wasn't that much investing in people taking care of his money i feel like if anything there were people taking advantage of him like he was you know not sober all the time like that's the people like that's when people around you just take everything from you so i think maybe it was even more at a certain point right but it is very interesting because also when i think of fifth harmony i don't know why i assume like they're all destitute they are but like what they were i one direction was bigger but like still split five ways by the way one direction no i'm sorry you can't compare the two but what we know about those x-factor contracts we know from fifth harmony we know from like how terrible their experience was how little money there was and how much like seriously was being stolen from them.
54:03When you think about like they were also a really short like period of time. So many hits. Hits like no other. Hits like no other. And I think that like the members who aren't actively working like seriously are on the brink of poverty. That's how I feel. Yeah but I would have said not poverty for One Direction but like they have to work. They have to get up and make some sort of living. I wouldn't have thought that. I would have thought that like if they're prudent they could live off of they could live well off of the money that like I think Louis Tomlinson, Zayn, and what's the other one? Liam, excuse me.
54:35I think like none of them went on to do major things in the music industry. And I think they all live very comfortably off of their one direction. I'm curious if they still make money. Because I mean, I'm streaming. I'm streaming as well. I think they must get like 100 million streams a year. Like, and yes, they have to split it five ways. But there's still people buying merchandise. Like there's still money to be made. And there's so much demand. That's true. Also, when someone dies in the UK without a will, their children will typically inherit the fortune if there's no living spouse or civil partner.
55:05I think that's appropriate. I think so, too. So, yeah. Not actually the worst outcome. No, could have been so much worse. Oh, my God. And Cheryl Cole seems... Sound of mind. Yeah, she doesn't seem... Even though, like, there was a weird element to their relationship. and she was a judge on his season of x factor and like she was much older and there was like a little bit of a predatory element you grew malish um but let's not go there you know this is a nice story she's 41 how old was leo 32
55:44okay but he was probably what is that eight years when they had a child eight years ago right and they dated for a while so she was like 30 and he was like 20 and then like a few years before that like he was 17 on x factor and she was a judge like it's weird yeah yeah yeah for sure uh let's just you know our fifth and final story our fifth and final story which will lead into our tv recap is actually a confluence of everything that we've been talking about in the last few weeks the beckhams summer house lexi wood because lexi went on vial files and she was asked by the By the way, I just know that if Brooklyn and Lexi had ended up together, they would all be getting along so well right now.
56:23Yeah. But she was asked about David and Victoria, given that Nicola and Brooklyn was just like fire line of questioning to the Vile Files. I want to say I've actually seen a lot of hate being sent Nick Vile's way for his line of questioning on this episode, specifically about Sierra. And I'm sorry. I actually think Nick was like asking the questions that a lot of viewers have been thinking. They're like kind of unpopular. But I am curious about Lexi, the Beckhams, too. So I want to say kudos to Nick, actually, even though he's getting a lot of heat. Tell me about that later on the show. I want to hear what he asked.
56:55That's so crazy. But she said, Lexi was asked about Brooklyn's family. She said the family is just the nicest, despite claims recently that David and Victoria are actually toxic. Oh, my. She dated Brooklyn back in 2018 when she was just 20 years old. And so she opened up about her relationship with the family to Nick Viles. She says that because she was so young, she and Brooklyn didn't spend a lot of time with his entire family. But she adds they're just the nicest. She he prays on David and Victoria specifically saying they're so cool. And Victoria is a style icon in her opinion. She also had kind words to say about Brooklyn's wife, Nicola, saying she and Brooklyn have a wonderful relationship.
57:32So you're not going to catch Lexi Wood talking shit about anybody. No, Lexi's extremely media trained. And you're seeing that in a lot of the interviews that she's doing as it pertains to Jesse and Sierra. Now, in the last couple of days, it has finally gotten to a point that's a little contentious, but I would have expected us to get to this level of contention like a while ago. And I think that's what I was saying before is like so much of what's gone on between Lexi, Jesse and Sierra. Lexi's sort of like done the right thing and the thing we always wish a girl would do. And it's like just blaming the guy.
58:01Right. It's like it's Jesse's fault. Jesse's the one who has responsibility to the girl. And like Sierra is, you know, they're just sort of like orbiting around each other in the house. It's kind of weird. but recently through like various questions that she's been asked on different podcasts but I think also like it's escalated personally like her and Sierra have had words she's starting to just like be a little bit critical of Sierra and I think that's also happening next week in the conversation because up until this point it's we're always saying it's like yeah but it's Jesse and we wish the girls wouldn't fight it's the guy's fault like she's doing exactly what like a girl should do.
58:33She's literally having these conversations about Jesse and all of his issues in front of Sierra even on last night's summer house when she's talking to Lindsay and Sierra about how Jesse's treating Sierra like at no point it's weird it looks like not until next week as at no point has she been like critical of Sierra because Sierra's just like she owes Lexi nothing Jesse's her friend this is how she talks to her friend and if it doesn't work for the girlfriend that's on the boyfriend to change 1000 although there is an argument to be made it's just like as a girl and as like somebody who's been through like these toxic Bravo men multiple times like you would have Lexi's back a little bit more yeah and like just offer you know be be more of a friend than a foe and like and she's just sort of like this roadblock in their relationship and and I actually think last night's episode was a real like a really bad look for Sierra I thought especially at the beach and it's hard because I feel like I have never had a critical thing to say about Sierra when I think of like all of her big scandals I was riding that scandals excuse me dramas I ride so hard for her especially like her verse Danielle like I'll never forget that I was Lindsay she she's been so right in everything.
59:35Austin and Lindsay. In the case of Austin Kroll? Wes. She has been just like she's kind of had an amazing time on reality TV because she's found herself at the center of the drama and she's always been right, which is very hard to do. I do feel like that's not the case this season. And I don't know how she's going to react to it at the reunion, but I think during the filming, she still thinks that she's like, you know, people are going to be agreeing with her. And I've seen people, especially just because she really likes, she's sort of been the poster girl for like toxic bravo relationships that you would just expect her to be more supportive of this new girl who's sort of been like left hung out to dry except for amanda patula which has been very nice to see amanda sort of step up no and the idea that ciara would even flirt with no pun intended like the idea of another bravo relationship with the kind of guy who's already acting this way towards a girl that he literally loves like it's not for lack of liking her this is how much he likes her and this is also how he treats her so that she wouldn't run from that and instead like her and the girls are giggling like jesse loves you ha are you guys gonna and it's like yeah run no it's so true like have we learned nothing yeah so that's where it's like just you're so unsympathetic it's like he's literally west 2.0 it's true in turbo mode it's also hard to watch lexi because she's very she has a backbone but she really likes jesse so like to see her it's kind of like a stereotypical trope you know like this guy's terrible to you you're making it so far like you're gonna get out and then you get back together with him and they walk in the house together it's sort of like a rite of passage for a young girl especially like a new one on a bravo show it was hard to watch and i do think that next week they officially break up which is good but i am okay i mean it's funny that they couldn't even make it a week but like when they walked back in together and the last clusterfuck of the last few weeks between the sierra flirting and the toe and the talking shit like all of that i was i was okay with her giving him one more chance like i think that if he could have learned from all of that like learn i need to completely change how I behave, how I think, how I speak.
1:01:32Like maybe he could have like, I understand why Lexi gave him one more chance. She likes him so much. We're going to throw away how much we like each other. They're literally like fireworks in a bottle. Magnets. We're going to throw that away because like we got off on the wrong foot. We're like on a TV show. It's a very high stakes situation. Like I will give you one more chance to like act right. Maybe, but then watching him sit, watching him sit and talk about her mom and her sister, whatever you make of like, people have criticisms of how close she is with her mom or sister and that they go out to clubs together like if you're if i'm letting you into my family unit we're all like hanging out all the time and you're running like talking shit to your friends about my fucking family like sorry we're done yeah we are done yeah i don't even care what you if what you said was valid or if is it weird that my mom went out to a club at four i don't give a fuck don't come don't come and do not speak about my fucking family to other people no i totally agree especially like in a conversation that had like a negative slam to it.
1:02:27I wonder what, she obviously didn't see that. So I wonder what will be the thing between this week and next week where she does end things with him. And it does seem to be more about Sierra. And finally, the girls are going to have words. I do feel like, you know, back in the day on reality TV, it was like, you wanted to be the biggest, baddest bitch you could be. And then like times change and trends change. And I'm like, nobody wants to be a bitch. Like nobody wants to be seen. No, you want to be seen as a girl's girl. You don't want to be a mean girl. You want to be a girl's girl. Everyone is like passive aggressive.
1:02:53no one like wants to go there unless like you're an actual crazy person who like would do anything reality tv and it's like you don't care how you come off like i'm getting paid i'm gonna provide entertainment like a jacks taylor sort but most of these girls just like want to shoot brand deals want people to like them they don't want to deal with hate they don't want to fight with other people in the house who like every who are cool and everybody likes so like they've really been skating on thin ice and it seems like next week like something happens where they her and sierra have words but they have to have a conversation it's so weird in real time I think one of the biggest catalysts for now Lexi and Sierra speaking about each other was Lexi's birthday that she invited Jesse and Sierra to her birthday neither of them came in instead they hung out together and Sierra says that that's not true yeah and vile files asked her be like Sierra said that what you said is not true so how do you respond to that and she was like well I did invite them both to my party they were together having lunch I have screenshots of both of those things but I'm not going to talk about it because Sierra has told me to stop talking about it.
1:03:53And to stop talking about her. Her. She hasn't talked about her that much. I know. And I feel like Sierra, like honestly, it could have been so much worse for Sierra had Lexi placed any blame on Sierra. And Jessie, not just Jessie, but Lexi's like doing the right thing. Girls, girl, yada, yada. And Sierra's like still mad. Yeah. which I think if Lexi had placed any blame on Sierra earlier than this in the season like I don't think it would have ended well for her like I think she was right but let's see what happens next week that causes Lexi to like be more activated but there's such a weirdness like when when Sierra came into the room with Lindsay and Lexi with the martini and Lexi was like oh martini she was like oh I like would have made you one but I didn't know you were up here like they hate each other they hate each other but they can't nobody wants to be the first to start it because one it would make sierra look really bitter and jealous and two lexi that's not very girls girl of you like it's jesse who's the one who owes you loyalty no and like sierra has so many friends in the house so if you come in and you fight with sierra like you have no friends and now the only person you have is jesse who also talks shit about you behind your back and loves you up during the week like it's a very confusing spot to be in one thousand percent so um the rest can we quickly talk about soft bar can we can definitely and we also need to talk about her getting up from the table when west was talking about his friend who passed away yeah that was bad was so crazy and i thought maybe she was getting up i was giving her the benefit of that like maybe she's gonna go cry because like she it was too much it was feeling emotional and she doesn't want west to even know that she has any softness in her heart for him but it like wasn't that it was really unkind so i I thought 100 % it was edited because like it was so crazy.
1:05:36I'm like, that's fake. Like it's literally fake. But then later in the night, Amanda was like, by the way, did you get up when Wes was – so they referenced the get up. I'm like, oh, I thought for sure it was spliced together and they were just making her look bad. And I honestly thought it wasn't true and I didn't give it another minute's thought. And then they referenced it. And I'm like, oh, she really did get up in the middle of this like really emotional moment where everyone's like talking about their feelings. And obviously Carl has experience with grief and like – Lexi. Yeah. And it was kind of beautiful.
1:06:00No. And I understand that you hate – And unexpected from Wes. I understand that you hate West and like literally you don't want, but there are moments in life where you just lay down your arms and just, you can provide just a smile, a comfort. Like even Lindsay and Carl, when it was the anniversary of his brother's dad, we had a different Lindsay that day. Like we, it's detente for a day. It's so true. And the fact that she couldn't do that. And especially after just being so cold to him all season, like she gives him the leftovers, her martini and she doesn't even look at him. And it's like, I'm really over it.
1:06:31You know, I agree. Like after everything he did, like the reunion and the public berating of Wes. He got what he, he got punished. I was all in. But like, again, we are on the show. You have to move on from things. And like, even in her conversation with Jessie, and I understand like really getting so mad at someone because I get really mad too. But the moment someone gives me a sincere apology, especially when it's someone that like is in my life, my friend. And someone you once like had love for. Yeah. Like, I don't know all this, not expecting everyone to be like me, but like I can forget, I can move on from something.
1:07:00like no but even just like human decency even if you still can't move on and you still hate them they're sitting there crying about their friend who passed away like even if you have mean thoughts just sit there yeah that was weird but also in her conversation with jesse it's like there's nothing that he could say to like soften her heart towards him when it's like last week that was your best friend no and like i get why she hates jesse um but like i i don't i can't get a read on what does she want out of all of this right like does she want a relationship with jesse does she want to be cool with lexi like i she's just kind of like being a little all over the place but also her her attitude is very much like i don't care i don't care about you i don't care about this i'm done with this i'm done with that you care a lot she said in it i just was reading something that she said like whether lexi comes back to the show great and if she doesn't i'll never see her again like what do you like what do you care like this whole like attitude of like taking early like we're excuse me this is a show like what do you care about to be clear I think Lexi has had a stellar first season.
1:07:58I do think she'll be asked back. I think if she doesn't come back, it's because she doesn't want to be back. Yeah. Not because they didn't ask for her back. She was a great cast. She's super young. She goes out when everybody stays home. Like all the girls stay home. She's one of the few girls that goes out. She like crushes it on social. I think she was a great ad. I was actually thinking last night about how for like so many years. Summerhouse could not get arrested when it came to hiring good people, especially men. and over the years like they've gotten lucky and accrued a couple of good people like Paige and Sierra but for the most part like think of how many people have come through that house and in the last like two three years Jesse, Wes, Lexi they've actually done a great job at bringing in like younger newer talent who do go out and do start stuff because I've seen a lot of people being like I'm so over this Jesse and Lexi stuff okay sure what else is going on that we need to be talking about.
1:08:49It's like so Sam and Ron like this is what we want to watch. Young people falling in love what would the storyline be no but like this is the type of like you come to a share house you're single maybe there'll be some matches in the house drama starts like that's the show that's what we want to watch and Lexi was on watch what happens live last night I did not catch it unfortunately but she was literally on two weeks ago three weeks ago so I thought that was interesting she's on again she's she's a major player yeah um let's just really quickly talk about soft bar please like that conversation was really hard to watch like and for the first time ever I saw like up until now everybody's been like that's so great Carl that's so great that's so great that's so great that's so great and for the first time ever nobody said anything but you saw it on their faces when he was just explaining the finances of signing a seven-year lease for a space that's ten thousand dollars a month that requires almost a million dollars for build out so we saw it on Jesse Solomon's you're giving them too much credit yeah we saw it on Jesse Solomon's face Carl did not turn his head so he did not see it on his face and all he heard was words of encouragement from jesse and from kyle what a bad friend like i'm sorry this is so real now nine hundred thousand dollars in build out seven year lease ten thousand dollars a month what like is anybody gonna stop like say that's not a good friend i completely agree it was so sad of being a bad friend not supportive you are every single one of you who supports this in its entirety without giving like a one red flag is not a good friend.
1:10:20And you know who is a good friend? Lindsay Hubbard. Agreed. Lindsay had a great episode last night. She's so fucking funny. Yeah. I love her. I love her. And like, I think everybody's loving her this season. It's because she's sober. It's an annoying thing to say. But I feel good about the fact that like we've been Lindsay fans now for like two years. Like we were a little bit early. I haven't been a day one Lindsay fan because she used to be really fucking crazy. But I saw the good in her before most people did. And I love that she drove out with Paige. Like she's really having such a great season.
1:10:48Yeah. And she's obviously staying like above the drama because she can't get into the weed. She can't be stressed. I'm sure not drinking. But just like her position on the show of just like being a supporting cast member with a sense of humor. It's really enjoyable. Carl's assessment that Lindsay is still carrying a lot of shame and embarrassment from their breakup a year ago. I actually thought was just like a bad analysis. like you can harbor any ill will and like say mean things about lindsey sure but i actually don't think she feels that way i thought like i mean obviously she's so moved on she's already pregnant and in another relationship but i actually think her takeaway even when they were like hashing out the breakup on the reunion i never thought for one second she felt shame so one of the things i love about lindsey is like she's not easily embarrassed yeah i wouldn't say that it's that but i can imagine like if I was in her position no no shame no what I would hate Carl you know I'm sure there's anger and like resentment like you wasted my time and made me look stupid but I don't think when he identified he thought he slayed he was like I think she's embarrassed no I think actually I don't hates you yeah yeah she just hates you and like you were being hateable even in the last few months of your relationship and then you did what you did even though she stayed with you while you were hateable yeah i now officially fucking hate you and i think that's a really fair feeling for her to feel i think so too and i think it's also not even been a year so like i think over time it will turn to indifference but it's still fresh i hate you so much and that's okay yeah and like time will heal all as it does and i'm sure her having her baby she's me like carl who like Like, that would just - No, like, we're so done.
1:12:33She will take leaps forward in terms of her strong feelings about Carl. But don't get confused. It's just pure hatred. That is our Summer House recap. Tomorrow is our last show of the week before Jax comes to town. Jax and Gladys coming to town. We also have Queenie and Weenie. So start ruminating on that. I already have mine, unless something major happens today. Hold space for a new Weenie entering the villa. the weenie is flex and it is open to interpretation until I sit down in this chair on Friday morning. By the way, Love Island US is premiering in June. That actually might be a really good thing for you to watch.
1:13:12Oh, good call. I just saw that. Just because. Okay, I'll try. Weenie's entering the villa. Oh, right. Love that. Oh, also Molly posted Tommy. I know everyone like once Molly posted Tommy. Yeah, she did. She wished him a happy birthday, but it was like from the POV of Bambi. It was from the POV. Thank you. Like, I'm sorry. It wasn't from her heart. It wasn't a picture of them kissing. It was like, happy birthday, Tommy. Bambi loves you so much. No, I don't. Maybe you do, but she didn't say anything. It was from the POV of Bambi.
