The Toast’s “Fast Five” pop-culture roundup plus a “Loser Sneeze” segment, covering TV/celebrity gossip, relationship/engagement discourse, sports scandal chatter, and entertainment news, then teeing up a Summer House recap.
Guest backgrounds
Hosts are Claudia and “Toast” co-host Jackson Claude. The episode also references recurring personalities (Ben, Charlie from Love Island, Lindsey from Summer House, Andy Cohen) but no additional named guests appear in the transcript.
Key claims

- White Lotus season 4 casting: Laura Dern is seen as a safe, uninspiring choice versus a more exciting Jennifer Tilly-type.
- Sports scandal: Diana Rossini allegedly shared a Spotify mixtape (“Turn in the Page”) to Mike Vrabel during a Titans losing streak.
Notable examples
- Ariana Grande album details: “petal,” July release; executive producer/co-writer includes Ilya and Max Martin.
- White Lotus: Laura Dern replacing Helena Bonham Carter; Jennifer Tilly discussed as a missed opportunity.

Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:03Claudia Oshry:Good morning, girlies. It's the toast. It's Jackson Claude and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show. The fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly.
0:21Jackie Oshry:It's the toast. I sound amazing. welcome back to the toast and happy hump day don't forget to hum someone you love i'm happy to be your host claudia who has such a wild side that everyone has gotten to know and speaking of everyone it's my girl not just anyone not just anyone not just anyone i do feel confident that
0:43Claudia Oshry:in today's episode you will continue to see claudia's wild side making good on the wish that Olivia, a young Olivia Ashtray wished for the world.
0:52Jackie Oshry:I'm just updating our whiteboard because yesterday was our second show. Without talking about the Licks vs. Lex drama in a formal capacity, the whiteboard now reflects that. Are there any stories about them today? No, there are not.
1:06Claudia Oshry:So I think we're going to go three for three on days without speaking about it in a formal capacity.
1:12Jackie Oshry:We'll see. Time will tell. Last night was the summer house, you know, day. watch summer house watch lindsey on watch what happens live watch the first commercial break
1:23Claudia Oshry:same it was boring oh it wasn't boring i was just it was getting so late i'm now in the phase of like you know charlie transitioning sleep and so he starts it like what i went through last spring with harry where like i had to fall asleep in the bed with him and then transfer him like now i'm going through with charlie which means i can't get to my shows till like 9 9 30 that's wild man
1:43Jackie Oshry:I did feel like it was boring. I think not every episode is going to be a banger. This one, like, I feel like people were sort of, like, grasping at straws, like, looking for stuff. I don't think there was anything. It was just, like, a fine episode. And it was the same for Watch What Happens Live. And Andy was, once again, like, being rude to Mother Hubbard. Like, he was just.
1:58Claudia Oshry:Oh, yeah. He was, like, he got really testy. He was moving quickly. He got testy.
2:03Jackie Oshry:I do have sympathy for, like, a live show where the guests have so much personality. Like, sometimes just shut up so I can move on to the next segment or cut to a commercial break. Like, people try to have, like, their moment on Watch What Happens Live. But he rushes people so, so much sometimes that it's just rude.
2:19Claudia Oshry:What about this? How about less segments? Like the segments are nutty. Yeah, they are. And we're there for the big personality who's trying to have a moment. Like, please, by all means, have a moment. Tell us something interesting.
2:31Jackie Oshry:Oh, I felt bad for the bartender. Because, you know, sometimes people don't realize.
2:34Claudia Oshry:Oh my God, the bartender who corrected Andy and let him know he has three restaurants.
2:37Jackie Oshry:The bartender sometimes is a sponsored role where like a brand will pay. so Andy has to legally like give them 30 seconds sometimes you could tell it's just like a friend of a friend and Andy just like really but this guy like I think he got contractually like one question he was having his moment and I did feel bad like I I do think it's a waste of a brand's
2:59Claudia Oshry:money to go and watch why I now know he has three restaurants one called the dirty one called Jack and Charlie because he should go on namesake he should go on namesake he should go on namesake I have been there. So the streets are saying that they like namesake. And by the streets, I mean Claudia's best friend's mom, which is a really influential figure in your life.
3:19Jackie Oshry:She's my Moroccan friend's mom. And I would say at this point, like she's my friend. And she was DMing me this morning about namesake because she has a son named Ruby. So her son could go on namesake. He could. I just want to say, I'm glad that the fandom is like growing for namesake because it's going to take a lot for me to, for me to get on board.
3:41Claudia Oshry:Maybe it's like my solo project. Passion project.
3:45Jackie Oshry:Like I've always said one of these days like I will do a podcast with Ben. Like one of these days.
3:50Claudia Oshry:It's coming.
3:51Jackie Oshry:And one of these days you will also host a podcast called Namesake.
3:55Claudia Oshry:I think it's a solo mission. I think I gotta fly solo and I'm okay with that. Like there's some things that like I could not do without you. But maybe I meant to do Namesake on my own.
4:05Jackie Oshry:And it's my dream, not yours. yeah no it's not my dream and in terms of like um interview formats one-on-one is so much better
4:13Claudia Oshry:than two-on-one yeah i feel like i'll really i'll get to the bottom of things with charlie pooth listen we should reach out to his team and like having a who do you think should be the first person on namesake who inspired it was it charlie pooth i think so but there's another person mckayla nagara she didn't inspire it but she was definitely a big get for namesake levi from summerhouse no she was a late edition it was like harry jousey levi from summerhouse is a late
4:45Jackie Oshry:edition yeah and um you could also now that i'm thinking about it i have my good friend harry styles yes i could of course prince harry i saw somebody post something really um interesting because it's so true not harry styles and zoe kravitz having to announce their engagement like to the public twice. It was like, it was reported in two waves. Like, people didn't care enough the first time, so then it was reported again yesterday. TMZ, like, it's confirmed. Like, you said that a few days ago. Well,
5:10Claudia Oshry:I feel like when I first saw it, I just, when someone puts out an engagement and it's like not from their Instagram or whatever, I just like don't believe it because like these rags, Just from a piece of jewelry. they lie, lie, lie. So, they did need to confirm it. I just think people don't care.
5:29Jackie Oshry:And I just want to say, I kind of care. I was talking about this. So yesterday I recorded in not skating, but not fat. We did like pop culture. And she was like, why does nobody care about Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian? And I'm like, they just don't. It's not interesting. Kim's not like having her viral moment right now. And she was like, and people also don't really care about Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles. And that's true. But I want to say that's not my truth. I happen to be like on ship for them. I'm excited about the prospect and I'm all good.
5:55Claudia Oshry:Yeah. But you're not like as excited as you could be, you know, like Michelle Sinai and Dr. Dre just because some things have that it factor and some things don't.
6:06Jackie Oshry:And some things are like kind of
6:08Claudia Oshry:obvious and a little boring but boring for a relationship is good. So that's good for your actual relationship.
6:17Jackie Oshry:Stability is hot. I feel like we live in a world where like people who are happily married like aren't the most interesting it's like the you're always saying like the Ariana Maddox trajectory like why can't married people get brand deals Like for me, like my idols, people get grand deals. And obviously I'm speaking for turd self. Like my idols, like people I look up to, like are stable. Like I only want to like watch content of people who like have shallow bite. Yeah. Inner peace.
6:48Claudia Oshry:Yeah. I find that very influential to me.
6:50Jackie Oshry:Yes. Me as well. Yeah. It's kind of how like when I became a mom, I stopped following or like engaging with any sort of like toxic moms who like make like oh can't we put my kid to bed so i can kill myself like you know what i mean like i fucking hate that shit i hate it yeah i want toxic positivity like i don't even want to talk about the hard stuff because it doesn't matter and like harping on it
7:12Claudia Oshry:just makes it harder no yeah and then it's like more time you spent in the hard yeah no and it's
7:17Jackie Oshry:like it was hard but it was us like who cares yeah um so i apply that also to like relationships I was like, I'm only, if you, I want boring content. I want peaceful content. I want people who go to bed at eight o 'clock and just like scroll and fall asleep together, you know?
7:32Claudia Oshry:Yeah. Yeah. Ben went to the Nick game last night and it was kind of a star studded affair.
7:36Jackie Oshry:I mean, Kylie and Timothy. So like when me and Ben go to Nick games, I take Ben's glasses. Cause I have like pretty good vision, but Ben wears like an actual micro, like a pair of binoculars. And so it helps me like look at the front row, see who's there. So I like my influence on Ben is like now he goes to the games with his friends and He takes pictures of the celebrities and sends them to me. And it was a packed house at MSG last night. You know, the usuals, Tracy Morgan, Ben Stiller. But Tracy Morgan was there with Tina Fey, Tracy and Liz. And then, of course, Kimmy. Tracy and Liz. And then Timothy was sitting next to Tina.
8:09Claudia Oshry:And Kylie was sitting next to Ben Stiller. Yeah, I thought it was weird. I thought they should have switched. I feel like Tina Fey has made jokes about the Kardashians. And that would be a little awkward. Kylie would have to. Kylie would always be polite because she's a queen.
8:24Jackie Oshry:No, but she's definitely, whether it's like in her.
8:27Claudia Oshry:She definitely gave Timothy a little pinch. He's like, no, I want to sit next to Ben Stiller. And it's like, get over there.
8:31Jackie Oshry:No, like a little elbow. Sit down.
Read the full transcript
8:34Claudia Oshry:You know she has sharp elbows too. Because she's so skinny.
8:38Jackie Oshry:Yeah. Also, did you see at Stagecoach, I totally forgot to talk about this when we were recapping Stagecoach, Brett Young, who's like was on his way to being a huge country star and somehow like fell off. He did his set wearing that t-shirt. shalom bite actually you do i do like he has a shalom bite he does but for a man like you don't have to make a choice you can have shalom bite and be a huge star like luke combs have you been
9:02Claudia Oshry:seeing like those reports about him like i mean because he's been doing interviews and stuff about how he prioritizes fatherhood he doesn't do any shows during the week he travels on the weekend but he is with his kids more than like 90 percent of fathers so shalom bite means um like peace of
9:15Jackie Oshry:the home which means just like inner peace and yeah like having a stable family life i totally agree and I just for a career like it's really impossible for a man to like lose his career because he was too busy being at home that's just like not how it works and Brett Young there was like an era and I think he was really like lifted up by Sam Hunt falling off like he was so up and coming banger after banger and he just kind of fell off and yes he does like get married and have kids but I don't feel like I think there's just like a lot of country guys and there are
9:46Claudia Oshry:actually a lot of even successful like if there's a hundred mid-country artists even like 20 of them will become huge but then just leave 80.
9:55Jackie Oshry:The reason why I brought him up is because he played his stagecoach set in that t-shirt that's like a mockery of the Beatles where it's like Kim John but it's Kim Kylie Chloe Courtney and Kendall.
10:06Claudia Oshry:I love it. That's weird. Yeah me too but like why do you do that? I mean personally I can't understand someone who wouldn't wear that shirt so of course to the biggest day of their career. I can't speak to why he wouldn't wear it, why he shouldn't wear it.
10:20Jackie Oshry:People in the TikTok comment section were guessing that maybe he lost a bet.
10:24Claudia Oshry:Oh, cool. Like fantasy football, maybe like March Madness. I don't know. I just don't think that's true because I don't think he's that big of a loser.
10:33Jackie Oshry:Loser sneeze. I could see him being a loser, to be honest.
10:36Claudia Oshry:Why? Why are you being so hard on him? I think he's such a cutie.
10:39Jackie Oshry:Am I being hard on him?
10:40Claudia Oshry:Called him not successful, lost a bet, But I didn't think he wasn't successful.
10:45Jackie Oshry:Okay, I guess I am being really harsh on Brett Young.
10:48Claudia Oshry:My bad, my bad. I think he's so great. I love his music. We saw him perform once at Surf Lodge. Oh, no, you weren't there.
10:54Jackie Oshry:You saw him at Surf Lodge? Why wasn't I there?
10:56Claudia Oshry:Me, Margot Washer, and Margot Lewin. I don't know what the circumstances were. That I wasn't there?
11:02Jackie Oshry:And you weren't there. Brett Young at Surf Lodge? They only have the worst people come perform at Surf Lodge.
11:08Claudia Oshry:Brett Young at Surf Lodge. I believe the year was 2019. That's when all the great things. was my fat ass socially happened i remember i was out east with the margos
11:19Jackie Oshry:yeah well that song of his sleep without you is literally the best song ever made as long as the night as if you in a yellow cap shooting me a texan coming home soon um oh yeah ben went to the nick game the next one next tape and um hopefully they you know Keep doing that. Continue to win. So we can keep getting Tylee and Kimothy. I don't know why I can't say their names. I'm having a stroke now for the second time. Timothy and Kyle.
11:48Claudia Oshry:Yeah, but you could have said just Tylee. Is that their name or Kimothy? I like Kimothy better.
11:55Jackie Oshry:Even though it sounds like Kim Kardashian's dating Timothy.
11:58Claudia Oshry:Yeah, it's Kylemothy. That's good. That's cute.
12:00Jackie Oshry:I like that. I like it. We've got a great, excuse me.
12:04Claudia Oshry:We've got a great sneeze for you.
12:06Jackie Oshry:We've got a great loser sneeze. we've got a great show we have our summer house recap we do we have stories like
12:15Claudia Oshry:let me let me refresh myself um what are the stories from amazon no avara oh i'm just like really showing myself oh i just have a similar shirt oh uh you know like actually like light bites i would say i would describe today's stories as light bites I like that Just like a little snacky chewy Little thing Snacky chewy? It's not a big meal The stories aren't meal like They're definitely sweet It's not like a celery stick
12:51Jackie Oshry:I would hope not
12:52Claudia Oshry:Sometimes we can have a celery stick If it's like I would call that a celery stick
12:58Jackie Oshry:I miss business I know
13:02Claudia Oshry:I don't know why I guess, yeah, everything's in waves here at The Turst, you know? It's so true. So, yeah, light bites. I'm looking forward to discussing and munching on these light bites. On these hors d 'oeuvres? In the Fast Five stories that, no, the PFFB is the hors d 'oeuvres. Yeah.
13:22Jackie Oshry:In the Fast Five stories that you do need to know. And that's how I ended up standing Pepsi and I'm so excited that they are today's sponsor. So their new product is a Pepsi prebiotic cola that comes in two flavors, original cola and cherry vanilla. It's got that OG great Pepsi taste, but now with even more to love.
13:54Jackie Oshry:It has no artificial sweeteners, only five grams of sugar and just 30 calories, plus three grams of prebiotic fiber. So it's really delicious. It delivers that great cola taste that you know and love from Pepsi because nothing beats it. And again, with just five grams of sugar, 30 calories, it has no artificial sweeteners, but it does have three grams of prebiotic. So it tastes just like Pepsi, but with so much more to love. 17:27Claudia Oshry:You mean this? Oh, yes. So a lot of women,
17:31Jackie Oshry:obviously, you know, you're supposed to be taking prenatals, pregnancy pulls from your, you know, the nutrients from your body and you're supposed to be replenishing. And Parallel is absolutely changing the game in an otherwise archaic industry, if I'm being honest. So a lot of women start pregnancy already low on nutrients, without even knowing. So it's always better to build it up beforehand. Actually, my doctor always recommended starting prenatals before I was pregnant. And I'm still on them. Like I take them pretty much year round. And the parallel prenatals are just so different. They make prenatals for different stages of pregnancy, like the different trimesters, because you do have different needs.
18:05Jackie Oshry:They created a conception support pack if you're in the in-between season. So if you're not trying yet, but you still want to be getting those nutrients, it's not just the generic prenatal that everyone takes for all three trimesters. It includes nutrients that OBs prioritize before conception, like the CoQ10, DHA, folate, choline. Parallel is founded by a practicing OBGYN. There's no downside to starting early. It functions as a really high quality daily multivitamin. If your timeline shifts, you're still supporting your body. I love this. My doctor always told me, like every woman in a certain stage of life, whether she's trying yet, should be on some sort of prenatal.
18:41Jackie Oshry:And I love Parallel's approach to this. So if you're pregnant, you're trying, or you're postpartum, definitely check out Parallel. We really recommend it. We have an exclusive code just for our listeners. New customers can use code TOAST to get 20 % off their first order when they go to ParallelHealth.com. That's P-E-R-E-L-E-L, health, H-E-A-L-T-H.com. 19:03Claudia Oshry:Great. Thank you, TurtleL. You're welcome.
19:09What?
19:10Claudia Oshry:TurtleL. oh like can you go can you say jordalelle it's really simple rolls off the tongue her first story big music news ariana grande announces her new album pedal and sets a july release date july so ariana grande has announced the title and release date for her eighth studio album called petal executive produced and co-written by she and ilia who like works a with Max Martin and worked on Eternal Sunshine. Yeah. So I feel like she made a whole big deal about how she wasn't doing music anymore. Yes. Because she's got the acting theater bug.
19:49Jackie Oshry:Yeah, but then I feel like she didn't get nominated for an Oscar and she was like, this whole thing was for nothing. I'm going back to music. You're lying. You really think that's what it was.
19:56Claudia Oshry:I really, actually maybe, like sorry to just, you know, debase her, but like maybe it was just because of Ethan. Like maybe she wanted to be an actress because she was dating an actor and she's a sort of girl who like - Are they not dating anymore? No, they're not together anymore. are you sure i'm pretty sure let's look i haven't heard that i feel like that that was
20:14Jackie Oshry:ariana grande ethan slater i think they are still together they are i'm fairly certain which like on one part like they have to stay together for their whole lives because of what
20:29Claudia Oshry:they did i thought so too okay so it's not just because she was like acting for him to be like
20:34Jackie Oshry:she's not publicly single she is still believed to be with Ethan Slater as of latest information according to chat
20:38Claudia Oshry:so it wasn't just to be his like dream theater girl
20:41Jackie Oshry:no no I don't think she was LARPing like you know when you get a new personality when you date someone new yeah no I don't think
20:46Claudia Oshry:and like you're in their world and he's like with actors
20:49Jackie Oshry:actors on actors I think maybe like Wicked was such a whirlwind and it required so much of her that she thought all movies would be like that and so she would have no time for music but then she did like Meet the Fockers which is just like a regular movie and you probably work for like a month or two and she was like wait maybe i can do both yeah and so now she's like never mind i do think the oscar thing like really pissed her off honestly interesting but she did get nominated for the first movie right so she no oh okay are you sure i don't think so no did
21:19Claudia Oshry:ariana because like at least she could then be like oscar nominated actress i don't even think she did let me just ask chat really quick well damn i also feel like someone needs to tell her She doesn't need to make like these grand proclamations. Sorry.
21:33Jackie Oshry:She did. She did. She did. She did. She's nominated. She did win. She's Oscar nominated. That's good.
21:38Claudia Oshry:That's pretty cool. You don't need to make like grand proclamations. Like I'm not doing music anymore. Like just see what happens. You know like wait and see. I feel like a lot of people do that and then they have to like undo what they said. And it's like just don't say big statements like that.
21:52Jackie Oshry:Just don't share your plans with us.
21:53Claudia Oshry:Yeah. Especially if you don't know what they are. Move in silence. But I mean she's a great. musical artists like a once in a lifetime sort of talent like it would have been sad if she wasn't making like bops anymore and she's a bop maker so i as a consumer of bops like i look forward to
22:13Jackie Oshry:listening to what this album holds yeah and i do think with the perspective of hindsight eternal sunshine well i don't know how commercially successful it was in the moment i do feel like as far as albums go it made quite an impact like i think it was very successful it's very good there are a couple of there was a lot of discourse about it at the time there are a couple of like
22:34Claudia Oshry:amazing songs on it yeah i think it did everything that you hope an album will do i watched a really
22:39Jackie Oshry:interesting tiktok about ariana grande's acting career from like a like an actor like like a film buff and i guess like ariana's thing is that she will do a movie but a like sort of a prerequisite for her rider and like contractually they have to agree like she handles her own glam because you know she has this thing where like she won't show one side of her face and she has to wear a hair a certain way she's like i don't want to use the word like insecure but like particular yes and when you're an actress like you just can't be that way like you just can't you have to be a chameleon and you have to let them like do their thing and so this tiktok was reviewing i guess they saw meet the fockers or whatever this new movie's called um and it's like this kind of distracting thing where she's like this pop star sitting in glam like when she's supposed to be like a daughter-in-law and i didn't know that that was a part and i guess she did it in wicked but wicked was so like big and theatrical that it didn't you know you didn't notice it but you could tell that she did in wicked yeah because she just looked just like herself like yeah i think kim also does that i
23:36Claudia Oshry:don't think kim would let anyone else touch her face even for yeah and so she's always going to look like kim kardashian in a movie it's limiting it's limiting i didn't know that like you have to be down to clown you have to be down to be ugly like for real would you gain weight would you gain weight for me not you these people these like would now does kim want to be an actress bad enough that she would get would would wait would ari no could she no she i don't think she would so like yeah i guess that's like you're not a serious actor if you won't do that you're not yeah i wouldn't be a serious actor i i i need my own glam actually there's this viral clip i don't
24:15Jackie Oshry:know if you've seen it it's like i think it's many years old but it just started resurfacing again i've now seen it twice where hillary swank is like doing a moderated panel or whatever and there's an audience q a and this woman gets up and asks her like quite literally the most unnecessary question i guess there's an episode of the office where the whole premise is everybody in the office is arguing whether or not hillary swank is beautiful like some people like no she's not and the question was like have you ever seen the episode what do you think which like i don't know what brain dead person thinks that's a good question and her answer is very much like i'm like I think I haven't seen it but I know that it exists and like my whole thing is like I just play real people and like some people are ugly and some people are not and so like that's why she's a great actress she's not afraid to be considered ugly even though I'm watching the panel I'm like no she's very pretty but she plays ugly people yeah yeah but she played like that kind of manly boxer yeah so million dollar baby yeah right range she's not afraid to get ugly no no but I think when you're like such a bombshell like it's not a question whether or not Sydney Sweeney is like insanely beautiful even though people like to be like she's not that hot it's like okay ugly whatever you say so it's like it's fun to play ugly because no one's really
25:27Claudia Oshry:gonna think you're ugly but like I actually am surprised I've like seen a couple clips from like euphoria and stuff and like she's not afraid to like embarrass herself as an actress and it's quite surprising especially with this like baby only fan stuff have you been seeing that like it's not on her because she didn't write that and she's just and we know that the people who do write the show are like freaky as disgusting but like she just like does it or I saw the scene where she's like the one where she went viral like I've never been so happy in my life like her face I've never ever been happy she looks crazy her character is a crazy girl
26:02Jackie Oshry:like a really desperate love struck loser but she's like the popular girl but nobody knows how
26:07Claudia Oshry:big of a loser she actually is that's crazy and then i just saw a scene from her and neat's wedding
26:11Jackie Oshry:where she's like dancing on him yeah they did like a choreographed dance and she's just like really like gets after it yeah she's a good actress she really is you would accept that movie anyone but you she should have that deleted from the internet it is the worst acting performance from a human being i've ever seen people liked it claudia i enjoyed the movie i'm not saying it was a bad movie her performance was someone's first time on earth like it was not it was bad well the place looks great it always does so new re music that's exciting like sure sure yeah sure
26:51Claudia Oshry:pedal pedal cute cute oh because pedal because i have this right here something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging what
27:05Jackie Oshry:a petal i can't think too hard about ariana grande because i just end up disliking her yeah yeah what she did like every time we talk about her and we say positive things we have to just bring up the fact that she broke up a family they both did they both did uh a family with
27:23Claudia Oshry:newborn baby like lily jay whatever that girl's name was like no that's not her name it's lily jay i think hold on on my way i'm on my way lily jay there isn't enough justice in the world for that
27:41Jackie Oshry:girl and i don't even think she got any like people don't believe in you know bow and yang's always like don't believe what you hear about ari and it's like no i do believe it just and she wrote a piece in like New Yorker pretty much confirming the whole thing yeah there isn't
27:54Claudia Oshry:enough justice in the world for that woman yeah I agree you got to keep it surface with Ari you
27:58Jackie Oshry:can't look beneath the surface you really for me at least like I unfortunately cannot stand due to my moral compass you cannot stand did I say stand you did I meant stand I can't like fully dive deep no no no surface I can stream I can have fun I can even go to a concert Wiccan can watch but i can't of course of course i can't give a part of my my soul you know like i do to
28:23Claudia Oshry:some of my faves like taylor you cannot ride i cannot ride i understand my energy my heart you
28:32Jackie Oshry:bitch yeah are you ready for our next story no i'm not because on my morning tic tac scroll today i watched just like 10 minute deep dive you know they talked about it on real housewives of beverly hills but i feel like like no one was listening lisa renner just shared the fun fact that her mom was actually like a victim of that serial killer, David Carpenter.
28:51Claudia Oshry:Yeah.
28:51Jackie Oshry:She was like the first one he tried to kill her and then went to jail for like seven years and got out and then became a serial killer. Well, somebody did like a whole deep dive on the actual incident of what happened to Lois Rinna. Let me tell you, it's the craziest story I've ever heard. I was like gripping my seat. Terrible story. She was like friends with him. He was like some loser from her workplace who had a stutter and she was nice to him. Big mistake. he like kidnapped her in his car and like drove out to a military base and started beating the
29:18Claudia Oshry:shit out of her trying to kill her oh my god i remember it's such a crazy story it's a crazy
29:22Jackie Oshry:story yeah and i guess he wasn't a serial killer yet right she was gonna be his first victim but she fought so hard he chopped off two of her fingers oh my god it was a crazy story oh my
29:34Claudia Oshry:god that's insane yeah it really was actually speaking of real housewives of beverly hills sort of our next story White Lotus season four cast sort of sort of because they've casted Laura Dern not to exactly replace Helena Bonham Carter but this new character that they're developing instead in place of Helena Bonham Carter however the rumor will was swirling at one point that it would be Jennifer Tilly cast as Helena's replacement and let me just tell you this is a
30:02Jackie Oshry:missed opportunity i completely agree with all respect to ms dern even though jennifer tilling is so similar to helena bottom carter that if what their statement said was true then they'd need someone different like laura dern is very different from helena yeah no and it would like
30:21Claudia Oshry:just prove that it was more of a personality conflict because here we go we have another quirky yeah you know uh ethereal actress yeah but this put like a seed in my head like I need
30:34Jackie Oshry:Jennifer Tilly on a season of White Lotus it doesn't have to be this but I'm so here for the resurgence of Jennifer Tilly's acting career she's one of my favorite people like I've ever discovered through Bravo and she has so much lore outside of her Bravo tenure it's like the least interesting thing about her the Simpsons Chucky like just everything did she win an Oscar I think So I remember she was talking about. Nominated for an Academy Award for what? Oh, Broadway.
31:05Claudia Oshry:She's also an Ace Ventura.
31:07Jackie Oshry:Oh, my God. She's an Ace Ventura pet detective. You're right. She's the love interest, right? Yeah. That movie is so good. First of all, no, she's so iconic.
31:18Claudia Oshry:Yeah, she really is. So Laura Turner, it just feels like she's already been in White Lotus. Like a thousand percent. She's an amazing actress. It's just like a little uninspired, but I don't want to like throw shade. It's just, it doesn't excite me, you know? And now it's like, instead of getting like a type Z character of the quirky older woman, like we're getting very type A, you know, she plays like Renata, like my daughter needs to get into school.
31:41Jackie Oshry:Amabel's mom, for sure. It's a safe choice. It's not going to be bad, but I liked the route we were going down initially with the more quirky, eccentric Jennifer Tilly type. but this just reminds like if you are a showrunner if you work in casting right now there's clearly huge demand for jennifer tilly so like put her in put her in coach i would even say lisa rinna too yeah even though lisa rinna is not a like extremely skilled actress and she's such a big personality and she's so recognizable with the lips and the hair i think it's very hard to suspend disbelief and watch her pretend to be anything other than lisa rinna now
32:22Claudia Oshry:yeah what do you think about back in the day though
32:26Jackie Oshry:well that was before she was like lisa fucking renna and had like the lips and like the cultural cachet yeah yeah i also think like the fact like
32:36Claudia Oshry:traders was like bad for her resume in terms of acting
32:41Jackie Oshry:absolutely that was one of the worst performances and you know who should go into acting rob correct literally anyone else colton like literally anyone but Lisa. Yeah. She should stick to hosting and reality TV and fashion. Yeah, not good for her acting chops. It was not a ringing endorsement by any means. That's so true.
33:01Claudia Oshry:Well, congrats to Laura Dern. The part a million girls would have killed for.
33:05Jackie Oshry:Quite literally.
33:06Claudia Oshry:Once again.
33:06Jackie Oshry:Once again. I saw something else interesting on my morning scroll. Vogue is really leaning into the Devil Wears Prada of it all. They have a podcast that's hosted by the new Swirly. What's her name? the new editor-in-chief chloe yeah that sounds right it's a podcast i don't know how frequently they release it's the first time i've ever seen it and she was sitting down with the real life emily and she was talking about lauren weisberg is that her name yeah the girl who wrote the book who's like the andy character devil wears product people might not even know is based on a book of like a real girl who was anna wintour's assistant emily is also a real person and she talks about how they found out about the book for the very first time.
33:48Jackie Oshry:Anna calls her into her office and she's like, do you remember a Lauren Weisberg? And she's like, yeah, kind of. And they, she's writing a book about us. And actually I only saw one clip, but it did look good. And it kind of made me want to watch it.
34:03Claudia Oshry:That does sound good. But she worked there a long time in the movie, right? Like maybe eight months or so. Andy? Yeah.
34:11Jackie Oshry:Yeah.
34:12Claudia Oshry:So they would remember her.
34:15Jackie Oshry:Yeah, I don't think Anna would have remembered her if not for this book.
34:19Claudia Oshry:No, no, no. Of course, the movie makes it seem like she would. You know, she's the one that got away. And you know what's so funny?
34:26Jackie Oshry:It's like I've seen quite literally no interviews with the author.
34:29Claudia Oshry:I feel like this day and age when a book gets adapted, they're everywhere. She's very quiet. I know. And what's also funny is she wrote a sequel. When Life Gives You Lululemons, it's like a sequel adjacent.
34:41Jackie Oshry:But Emily is in it. It's not a sequel.
34:43Claudia Oshry:No. Yes. Yes, it's... I read it. It's when they moved to Connecticut. They don't move to Connecticut. It's about like some senator's wife or whatever, but like she needs PR. And then I think Emily is like a big time PR agent. Oh, I think you're right. It's like a spinoff. It's a spinoff. It's so good, by the way. You should read it. I did read it. No, no, you, dear reader, should read it. And they should make that into a movie. Yeah, but not connect it with Devil Wears Proud at all.
35:11Jackie Oshry:It didn't need to be Emily's character. like it was just a girl who works in PR and it was a good book yeah it was it had like a cute
35:17Claudia Oshry:connection to devil wears pride and it's obviously a good author so it was good yeah but I would love
35:21Jackie Oshry:to hear from lauren lauren self and at the time of the film like the original movie was there any interviews with her ever about her time and her connection and what did she think of I would love to hear from these people right I have no idea I would love to know yeah they should get her on the vogue podcast but I'm sure she's persona non grata you think even though they're all like lapping it up they're leaning into like the fictionalized version but i think the actual book
35:46Claudia Oshry:like was quite scathing yeah yeah our next story a crazy update in the sports scandal that is rocking the world are you ready for today's news between diana rossini and mike vrabel i am but i have to speak my truth that you don't care not only is this story like do nothing for me like
36:12Jackie Oshry:I literally do not care I do not follow I do not know these people like I I actually hate it now why because I'm being forced to pretend to care you know on this show you mean I don't want to be like a naysayer so I will talk about it but I want everyone to know like
36:28Claudia Oshry:I hate these people and I don't care I don't know these people so I don't like it's not even about the people for me like oh my god a reporter and the coach like that's but just the way that they've gone about their affair over the last six years everything that comes out is crazier the next including the sun's spotify playlist and now it's the spotify playlist yeah so according to the spotify playlist diana rossini tried to help mike vrabel get over a four game losing streak with a mediocre spotify playlist at least that's what the internet believes after the nfl insider streaming activity surfaced on monday so someone found that she had made a spotify playlist into December of 2022 called turn in the page.
37:04Claudia Oshry:And she shared that playlist with a user named Mike. It just so happens that that date coincides with a four game Titans losing streak. The game, the team that he was coaching for. So she made him a playlist in 2022. She made him a mixtape. Yeah. A bunch of like inspirational songs to like get him out of his funk. And that's 2022.
37:24Jackie Oshry:Well, maybe if she had put the sun is rising by Brit Nicole on, he would have started winning. He could have turned it around. that is the most inspiring song if you need to listen to one song like to change your life like you're about to embark on this huge what's the most inspiring song you've ever heard i have a few brit nicole is up there i feel like that mary j blige song you said i'd never be a leader
37:46Claudia Oshry:doubt i think it's called yeah that's good that's a really good one of course like the climb is the most inspirational climb that should have been on her playlist taking chances by celine dion this is
37:58Jackie Oshry:our diana rubell whatever her name is this is our mix this is our mic playlist but you would just
38:04Claudia Oshry:think like two people and then sorry brokenhearted by carmen well that's only if he wants to go on the treadmill yeah right you would think two people engaging in an affair like would be a
38:13Jackie Oshry:little more covert to title the playlist mike they're boomers like they don't know that things can that their spotify podcast can be followed like they don't know these things i didn't even
38:22Claudia Oshry:know that honestly yeah but also they probably thought at the time they're known people but they're kind of private they're randoms like it's not like they're celebrities engaging in an illicit affair where they have to use code names and whatnot so like i don't think they ever thought it would get out there that anyone would care and so they were just the the breadcrumbs are loaves
38:43Jackie Oshry:as we say because they are boomers who don't know anything and like i don't think they thought people would ever care this much and to be clear i don't even like no i i care about the way that they've moved over the last six years it's really the craziest thing i've ever seen kind of ship it's like a very long-standing relationship but the kid thing is they're like
39:06Claudia Oshry:both married he's still married he was like just caught like buying a gift for his wife so i don't know business where do we go from here yeah business as usual yeah i actually had a dream that i was up for the job of um patriots head coach not you making this situation about yourself no I know but I just came back to me like I guess this story has infiltrated my dreams and I clearly and I had a dream that I was up for the role of head coach and it was a very did you get it it was I woke up it was very much like a Ted Lasso situation where it's like of course I'm not let's bring in the podcaster I'm not equipped for the role but like they saw so many of my other skills as being like really great for coaching right I kind of feel that right I think I'd be a good coach um better teacher coaches need like a lot of energy it's very physical a lot of standing i'd rather be a teacher yeah unless like is there a job where you could coach sitting down yeah they don't even have chairs yeah they have a bench that doesn't like a good back support i need a lumbar absolutely i need a pillow too are you ready for our next story our fourth story I am.
40:18Claudia Oshry:Just actors being weird. Actors being weird. Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton were, quote, forced to take baths next to each other while making their new movie.
40:28Jackie Oshry:What, like cold plunges? No, like there was one bathtub. I just want to say Charlize Theron is pissing me off. She said that Timothee Chalamet thing, and then I don't know if you saw that the next day. She was asked about it. What did you mean when you said AI is going to take the jobs of actors but not live performers? And she was like, I don't even really know what I meant by that. I was just trying to hurt Timothy. Like, okay, you're literally 20 years older than him, and you are not a part of this conversation. Trying to hurt Timothy.
40:54Claudia Oshry:Yeah, like leave Timothy alone. Timothy, there's no real path for him to be on me and take. That's a bummer. Let's think.
41:01Jackie Oshry:Well, I plan on having more children. Oh, my God.
41:04Claudia Oshry:Imagine. Well, then you have to have a Taylor.
41:08Jackie Oshry:So we could have Taylor Swift? Yeah.
41:10Claudia Oshry:Absolutely. I guess I know Kardashians could be on namesake No Okay It is what it is You know Let me think, hold on Any of the kids? I was just trying to think of the kids No
41:30Jackie Oshry:We should shut the podcast down Wait You have one? We could This is going to be a little controversial, okay we could have caitlin formerly shares a name with my father-in-law
41:47Claudia Oshry:bruce offer i think it works i think it works there's a very light connection but that is the tie and i think that's what's so great about namesake it's like you don't get to
41:59Jackie Oshry:choose who you're going to talk to because you don't get to choose your family you don't get to choose your name so it'll that'll be like the title like namesake because you don't get to
42:10Claudia Oshry:choose your name yeah and I also think like other shows that can have any guests on like it just becomes so like routine like I think having guests on is so boring like because you can have anyone on like yawn but I find when you have like parameters that you have to work within in anything that you do you know like a theme party like it's just there's so much more options for creativity as opposed to just having like your pick of the litter I was actually just saw a reel about like interior design and this designer was like oftentimes some of the projects that have like a lot of limits like whether it's like the spacing or the small space or you know there's a thing you're forced to get creative and that's what namesake is absolutely a forced creation okay well charlie's and taryn could not come on namesake but they did share in their new movie
43:00Jackie Oshry:by the way charlie's could come on charlie charlie also i got a text from our producer that um
43:07Claudia Oshry:charlie from love island charlie is what inspired it might have been what inspired
43:12Jackie Oshry:namesake okay but i think we could skip him honestly At this point.
43:20Claudia Oshry:Yeah, like now. At this point, I guess we missed the boat. Yeah. Okay, so they said that they were on set, the grueling New South Wales shoot. They found an unusual way to relax. Our one little bit of luxury that we had was we each had a bath. Do you remember that? We had a little bath each, a little hot tub. because we spent so much time in water that particularly if you're not shooting when the sun's high in the sky you get cold and you get sick so we had to sit in a hot bath we'd sit side by side that was cute and charlize would kind of feed me it's not jerky biltong traditional south african biltong and we would sit a non-biltong to try and keep in our suony sinewy climbers physiques
44:14Jackie Oshry:just think of brooks i find people stay strong for brooks it's actually i think stories like this are really important if i'm being honest because i think a lot of times especially us you know we wake up every day and our job is to like talk about celebrities and you know you sometimes you get swept up in it you think these people are so great and i just feel like it's important to be brought like moments like this like to bring you back down to like have these people are genuinely brain dead like and they're weird and they are weird and they like like to do things like this and make us think it's normal or they're either like dramatizing it like because
44:46Claudia Oshry:now i'm like well you naked in the bath right i would think so like what are you taking a bath in a bathing suit every night and like where are there two bath what is this a cialis commercial there are two baths next to each other like where else would you have two baths i don't know i'm I'm thinking it's like an outdoor bath situation.
45:04Jackie Oshry:So then it's a hot tub, right? Yeah, like a hot tub. So they're just like trying to be provocative. Like you were in a hot tub with your co-star. That's not that weird. You're taking a bath next to your co-star. That's weird.
45:13Claudia Oshry:Yeah. Yeah. And I just didn't even know how to report on stories like this. Like, okay, cool. I think it was before. You're cool. It was before he met Brooks, though. So hopefully she can straighten him out.
45:26Jackie Oshry:And don't you feel like Charlize Theron? I feel like I'm always saying her name wrong.
45:31Claudia Oshry:That's like me and Helena Bonham Carter right now. I say it different every time. Helena, Helena. Charlize Theron. Charlize Theron. I don't know. That doesn't sound right. Charlize. Go with Charlize.
45:45Jackie Oshry:Let's just say Charlize. Don't you feel, tell me if you agree with this, as a person that I am, the life that I've lived, her career, her cultural impact, her media, her art, has just missed me completely.
45:58Claudia Oshry:Yeah. she feels so random to me
46:02Jackie Oshry:but she's like literally one of the most critically acclaimed actresses of our time I don't think I've seen her in one thing ever The Italian Job never saw it you never saw it it's so good
46:10Claudia Oshry:really? you should watch it you would like it because it's like Kingsman sort of like if you're oh and I know you like Kingsman you're always looking for like Kingsman like movies I'm always I'm consistently chasing
46:21Jackie Oshry:the high that I felt when I watched Kingsman for the first time
46:24Claudia Oshry:yeah Kingsman 2 helped it did I think they're making a series also I hope so But yeah she's in like Mad Max Missed Us Atomic Blonde Missed Us What made her
46:38Jackie Oshry:Monster
46:40Claudia Oshry:Missed Us Fate of the Fast and the Furious Nope I also still didn't see Bombshell So missed me Oh I saw Bombshell
46:51Jackie Oshry:Yeah Yeah who does she play Not Megyn Kelly The other one uh i don't know i didn't see it yet she plays one of the one of the women yep okay i've seen charlie saran gretchen yes carlson no that's the country singer no i feel like that's gretchen
47:10Claudia Oshry:wilson gretchen carlson sounds right yeah i saw it it was a good movie yeah i agree i've missed a lot of this she plays megan kelly she does play megan kelly that's a pretty good casting
47:24Jackie Oshry:yeah and um it was a good movie i don't know why i felt i feel like i'm always talking about that

They don't satisfy. They don't even really taste good most of the time.
48:20Jackie Oshry:You go in thinking it's going to be perfect, exactly what you're craving, but a little bit more balanced. And then you take a bite and it just doesn't hit. It's not as creamy. It's not as satisfying. And it leaves you wanting more. Well, recently, well, not even recently. I'm sorry. Like years ago, I fell into Yasso and it's game changing. It's even, it's better than non-better-for-you desserts. It's just the best dessert ever. And it happens to be better for you. So they took everything that you want from a frozen dessert and they made it with creamy frozen Greek yogurt. You're still getting that rich indulgent taste, but it feels a lot more balanced.

Chocolate chip cookie dough, cookies and cream, fudge brownie, mint chocolate chip, and coffee chocolate chip. They're so good. 53:42Jackie Oshry:You're welcome.
53:45Claudia Oshry:Our next story, fifth and final, leading into the TV recap. Kyle Cook is blasting Wes Wilson for letting Amanda Batula take a brutal beat down at the Summer House reunion. So Kyle responded to a fan tweet. The tweet said, the fans said, Wes explicitly asked that any criticism or he'd be directed at him rather than Amanda on his podcast. Wes then proceeded to sit silent and all three audio clips leaked. Kyle responded saying, he's all PR and zero intention or integrity. The reunion was a brutal beat down and I can't
54:14Jackie Oshry:recall a moment when he had amanda's back yeah um i think that that was clear from the leaks even though of course it was you know three minutes of a 10-hour day i think it was probably reflective of like the overall vibe and we know we know that he does that he shuts down i just
54:33Claudia Oshry:would have thought he would have tried a different route because he did do that two years ago when he was such a loser sneeze for it so i would have thought and he like really his cue score obviously like a trauma response like he can't help it he's just like sad and sullen his Q4 went to a zero after that so I would have thought he would try something different this time but that is his reflex is to operate like that when he is getting criticism now this week's episode sort of further
55:00Jackie Oshry:cemented at least for me the theory that Weston Sierra are like well on their way to getting back together um and it's crazy how like the second they forgive one another there's no awkward period like they're just back like hugging and holding and lingering and staring and I I am really curious if if they decide not to because this is July but if take Wes Mandeville out of it if I'm just
55:29Claudia Oshry:watching the show like she is very silly for that I do I am glad that she forgave him I hope that they can be friends they can't but he does still does not want to date even when he's going on this double date with sabrina sabrina and ben he in his confessionals is reticent he's like this feels like a lot very soon you know he's still the same fucking guy he's not like please forgive me give me another chance i really like you he's just like please forgive me nice to me i like you and i want to be friends with you and i want to have my cake and eat it too but if she's not capable of not of speaking to him without really like falling for him then she does need to still have that wall up because they're literally just going down the same path a path that he still does not want to walk towards even in everything that he did he was never like I wish I gave us a real chance I wish I didn't can you give me another chance like he still just wants to like do watch parties and fuck around yep and so the it's just an impossible situation for Sierra because she has to work with
56:27Jackie Oshry:this person and live with this person so i do feel bad for her and yeah you kind of just want to shake her being like don't this guy was just making out with somebody next to you like don't give him the benefit of the doubt but she's just like so in love with him and that's really just what it's it's it's hard to watch she's so sweet and she's trying her best no it's hard because
56:49Claudia Oshry:in a regular situation like if you're in love with someone that doesn't want to be with you like that or that's just bad for you like you can walk away no you just like cut them off like you if you're not around them it doesn't hurt as much like you can move on it's really hard to just like
57:04Jackie Oshry:stop being in love with someone and she cut him off while also like being in the same house with
57:08Claudia Oshry:him it's impossible no it's hard enough to stop being in love with someone it's incredibly hard when you have to see them every other weekend be in the house with them do press with them all year long you're around them and you just love them more so i don't fault her i just feel bad for her I understand why she doesn't want to be in the situation of being mad at him still. Because like that's not. Who wants to be like the big curmudgeon in the house? It's not a fun way to feel. Everyone's having fun. And you either have to like ignore it. You know you want to be. And those are her friends too.
57:35Claudia Oshry:So like yes. And I think she should have forgiven him. But I don't know where they go from here. Because they can't be friends at this level. Because he will disappoint her and hurt her again. And look what he's done.
57:45Jackie Oshry:Yeah. So of course like now knowing what we know. But in this moment like I can't fault her. But it's sort of like watching a train wreck. Yeah. um i thought the soft bar opening was really sweet i feel very warm towards carl um you know personal biases aside i still don't think it's like the greatest business idea but like it's very pretty i don't you know as long as it's attached to summer house you know anything they do like will be successful for the time being but i just don't know like how successful a bar that serves no alcohol can be but the the meaning behind it is so beautiful that like I really I want it to be successful I hope that maybe I hope that it is maybe it will be it
58:27Claudia Oshry:seems like he has good like systems in place good infrastructure I think all of his fundraising and everything like amounted to everything that it should have amounted to he has a real space he really did it and you know like different strokes for different folks like people like stuff that you or I might not like and this could it's like in Greenpoint like there might be like a community
58:46Jackie Oshry:for it it being in Greenpoint like where people just think differently in Brooklyn you know like They have a very laissez-faire approach to life. It could work. I really wanted to. But I was also thinking, damn, if this place just sold alcohol, I feel like it'd be a really successful bar. Yeah, of course. A couple of things about the event. I guess they could always just sell alcohol. No. No. A couple of things. So many, actually. One, I love that they're not selling Loverboy. Because first of all, the whole thing is that it's functional drinks, and Loverboy is actually made of rat piss. like they absolutely shouldn't serve it or put it in their mocktails and i respect carl for not too it did feel like a launching pad for in the city you know we saw a bunch of faces yeah i thought it was very like sheena shay walking from sir into vanderpump rolls it actually would have been a great finale yes it should have and then we can leave with lexi and andrea andrea but also two
59:41Claudia Oshry:weeks from this episode is the like opening to the public so maybe it'll be another one
59:45Jackie Oshry:right right right um but carl's not on in the city i know and he was like talking publicly about how bummed he was about that yeah well then why don't you wife up bailey and get on the show get a girlfriend like that's the key and that's what we were saying like we're married people are becoming interesting things to like the valley shahs of sunset in the city type of genre secret lives of mormon wives um so yeah just get get a girlfriend and bailey they were asking her on Watch What Happens Live. Lindsay really endorses them as a couple. And I didn't have high hopes. She was like, oh, yeah. Like, I love him.
1:00:20Jackie Oshry:He's so sweet. Like, if you're dating someone, you wouldn't say I love him. I know.
1:00:23Claudia Oshry:And it's like so much time has passed since the summer when they were, like, burgeoning. So it's either gone nowhere or it's not going anywhere. Yeah.
1:00:33Jackie Oshry:I can't remember a time I ever felt such physical discomfort from watching something on TV than I did watching Lindsay talk to Carl's mom. I kind of wanted to shake her because she was being a little rude. Can you remind me what the text said? What text? It was sweet. It was like, after they broke up, it was just like a conclusion. Like, I hope you're doing well.
1:00:55Claudia Oshry:It wasn't bad. Okay, but at what point did Carl's mom talk shit about Lindsay? Because Lindsay obviously dislikes her for a reason. Was it when they were going to get married? It was on the, both. It was on the show. On the porch when Carl went home before the wedding. And they were like, yeah. Yeah.
1:01:10Jackie Oshry:And it's also just awkward, right? Like that's your ex soon to be mother in law. She was a little rude. Like this is like an older woman. Like you could be a little bit respectful. But I'm sorry. She's so funny. Like she really is so funny. And it was hard. It was genuinely like physically painful to watch. Yeah. I had to like unclench afterwards.
1:01:30Claudia Oshry:I have to refresh. I'm going to give Lindsay the benefit of it out. And I feel like if I got a refresher on what that woman did and also things that we don't know that her reaction would be justified. Yeah.
1:01:40Jackie Oshry:Yeah. I'm sure. And also like the business of calling off a wedding is super awkward with money and stuff. So I'm sure there's a lot that we don't know that would warrant that. Yeah. Because Lizzie's not like a mean person actually at all. She's drama. She's funny. But she's not mean. It was hard to watch. Yeah. It was just very awkward. And I loved her leaving without saying hello to Danielle. I just can't stand that girl. Yeah. Well, she'll do that on In the City. Yeah. Right. We'll save that conversation for next season.
1:02:04Claudia Oshry:So then there were a couple other breadcrumbs and Andy was doing this on Watch What Happens Live. They were trying to make more of it than what it was. It seems like the cast is starting to really suspect that West and Amanda had something brewing over the summer. Now, I think Lindsay makes a really good point where it's like, I do feel like maybe an emotional connection is blossoming. And maybe things did not get physical until after her separation announcement. But like there is some sort of pull between the two of them. And I also feel like Amanda's reactions to things that Sierra is saying about West are starting to change.
1:02:34Claudia Oshry:Or maybe I'll have to go rewatch the old ones. But like I. Maybe she was always. Or were we just like, you know, the benefit of like hindsight and we're like, oh, I see it on your face. You're not happy for her.
1:02:43Jackie Oshry:Yeah, because I feel like some of the things from last night's episode people are making more of. Like the text about the best weekend ever. I know what Amanda's saying. Like, oh, everyone's having the best weekend ever and I'm not there. Like and I didn't think it was like, West, you're having fun without me. I didn't think that. I just thought it was like the weekend I decided not to come. Everybody starts having fun. Like, excuse me. I know what she meant by that. so I do think people are looking into it into some things more than others
1:03:09Claudia Oshry:but I think that some people do need to ask themselves why it was the best night ever
1:03:15Jackie Oshry:like which people Kyle
1:03:16Claudia Oshry:no like yeah it's not a coincidence I just want to say loving Kyle like seriously loving Kyle it's not a coincidence she's been there every weekend they go out one time without her and it's the best night ever she is Fabissina obviously I don't think that's the energy like you really want to
1:03:34Jackie Oshry:to be around whether you're a friend or your husband it's so funny how like before west
1:03:39Claudia Oshry:mandeval when kyle said like i'm having the best weekend ever and it's because my wife's not here like yelling at me like people would be like you're disgusting and i was like you're right she's terrible she is the problem so you just can't take anything seriously but it is relatively
1:03:56Jackie Oshry:sweet that in his own way like he does still publicly defend amanda like even that tweet that you were just referencing is like yeah you are sleeping with my ex-wife but like and you don't and he's still defending her being like you're not even like gonna have her back yeah he definitely based on the clips it definitely sounded like he hung her the fuck out to dry and when we think about their crimes her crime is worse she does have more to answer for i think also as a woman like people just expect more of you they expect you we'd be smarter and like to not operate like follow your horniness wherever it takes you yeah that's what men do and right why they're low iq individuals like we expect women to just like control better to control themselves to do better to honor friendships to to to live by some sort of moral code and it's clear based on what we know about west he doesn't do that ever so we expect very little of him the bar is in hell and he told us that about himself multiple times multiple times um so she does get more of the heat but you would want your boyfriend i can't believe she left with him i would seriously like you hung me out to dry and we're leaving together but she's gonna fight with they have to yeah no they have to sorry if they have to they only have each other like and like she did all of this for him i've been seeing also some clips of jesse solomon on tour and i just want to say i'm also having a change of heart like i love him i think we should all stream his music like i feel bad for him like and the music thing is cute it is yeah yes i'll start and he just owes lexi an apology and then we can oh fuck i forgot about lexi thank you i'm back to hating him and it's the thing is no it's
1:05:28Claudia Oshry:like people can make mistakes sure and i can move on from it but like no one acknowledges that like wrongdoing was done to her so until we acknowledge it and at least apologize we'll never make it right because like you've ruined i just want to say everybody in the house owes lexi an apology
1:05:41Jackie Oshry:not just jesse i agree i agree completely loving sabrina and ben and like ben being so giddy oh that was weird like why is he so personally invested in west and sierra is it because Because Sierra and Sabrina are becoming friendly and he's excited about him and Wes, like maybe double dating. Like, don't you feel like the two of them are a little too personally like invested and excited in the two of them?
1:06:03Claudia Oshry:Oh, maybe I miss that because I was doing some like personal admin on my computer during the soft bar opening. But I my take was just like Sabrina, like it's just enthusiastic in general. Yeah. And does really like Sierra. So and, you know, Wes is his buddy. So like he's just down for I think he's just down for whatever Sabrina says is a good idea.
1:06:22Jackie Oshry:OK.
1:06:23Claudia Oshry:You know. okay what a weird one that guy is like yeah came on like bachelor of australia like well so a lot
1:06:30Jackie Oshry:of people just based on the timeline there is a conspiracy going around that like him and sabrina like weren't seeing each other before but just like to get himself on the show and like to be a little bit more attractive to viewers or to the castmates he played single and then brought his girlfriend in and now she's a full-time cast member and i love her yeah that doesn't bother me at all no do what you have to do yeah but it does sound like a a likely theory yeah because remember
1:06:56Claudia Oshry:last season's bailey got like kicked off her hiding boyfriend right maybe she just didn't play her cards right or maybe like her boyfriend wasn't as interesting as sabrina and then levi's like throwing a party for bailey i can't actually listen to you say call her levi because like That's her name. No, because, like, I'm just like, wait, Levi's having a party? Wait, when's Levi's party? Power Rangers theme.
1:07:25Jackie Oshry:So, like, it's like. That's where namesake becomes confusing.
1:07:30Claudia Oshry:Yeah. But I think that's where, like, that's where we grow. That's the beauty. That's the beauty. Like, when you, like, push through, that's where you get. Right. From the top of the challenging times. Yeah.
1:07:41Jackie Oshry:So, all in all, it was actually a boring episode. and we watch happens live was like not salacious and he was wearing the the the like i don't care
1:07:50Claudia Oshry:what yeah explain like when west was on watch happens live he wore this like horse hair tie
1:07:55Jackie Oshry:that like was just him being quirky and it was made by this girl who's like based in chicago and that was the episode where he just lied ball face line like really to everyone and turns out that the girl who makes the ties is like the chicago-based designer who west was actually seeing she's one of the girls remember when amanda was saying you know and it wasn't right because obviously i was still technically married and west was still seeing other people um i don't know if he's still seeing other people but she's one of the girls people put together they found her instagram that she wears a tie and he wears the tie and whatever so i guess lindsey's
1:08:27Claudia Oshry:just like wearing the tie she said like she's being a girl's girl which girl i'm not sure actually. I guess that's tea but like it was really ugly. I could tell Andy hated it. And it was really ugly and distracting to look at. Like it ruined her outfit. I agree. It's like pubes. It's disgusting. It's like a horse's tail. It's disgusting. So I don't know that the point was well made but I won't question anything Lindsay does.
1:08:57Jackie Oshry:Mother Hubbard does. Agreed. Yeah. Well that is your Summer House Recap. That is our show.
1:09:04Claudia Oshry:Yeah. Well, the place looks beautiful. It always does. How did we ever end without that? Like, what did we used to say? You know?
