0:00Jackie Oshry:Today's episode of The Toast is brought to you by Dolglax.

0:05Jackie Oshry:Good morning, girlies, it's The Toast. It's Jackson Claude and we're your hosts.

0:15Claudia Oshry:It's your favorite show, the fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly, it's The Toast.

0:25Jackie Oshry:I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and happy Wednesday. Yeah, it's Wednesday. Humpty. No, Wednesday. That's a win. So much TV to watch last night. It's obviously a Wednesday. I would know it's Wednesday because of the amount of time I sat on my ass last night and watched TV.

0:41Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

0:41Jackie Oshry:So many hours.

0:42Claudia Oshry:Summer house, transition in the city, watch what happens live.

0:47Jackie Oshry:The Knicks game, off campus. I'm seriously like a brain rot Gen Z teenager.

0:51Claudia Oshry:How'd you watch Knicks game and off campus?

0:53Jackie Oshry:The Knicks game went really late. It was kind of like.

0:56Claudia Oshry:I knew Zach was out with your husband and I went to sleep before he got home.

0:59Jackie Oshry:So I was like, they were out. But once I didn't watch Watch Happens Live once in the city was over, which by the way, towards the end in the city, I was getting so bored.

1:05Claudia Oshry:I'm like, I've been bamboozled into watching a show that I actually didn't really want to watch.

1:09Jackie Oshry:I probably wasn't going to watch it had it not been for Skamandoval. But like meeting new people, like I was just getting so bored at the end. And honestly, I don't know how many times we could beat the dead horse of like Kyle and Amanda. It was not some great love. Like I was just I found it interesting in the beginning. And then I love seeing the girlies and Lindsay. But like towards the end, I was like.

1:24Claudia Oshry:It's hard to meet new people, you know?

1:26Jackie Oshry:Especially when, like, these are the people we're meeting. I had a lot of issues with some of the people that we met.

1:31Claudia Oshry:Like, who? Actually, let's start with the positive. Was there anyone that we liked?

1:35Jackie Oshry:You know who was, like, looking good and not bothering me?

1:37Claudia Oshry:Andrea?

1:38Jackie Oshry:Danielle. Always. Danielle was looking good. She, like, I don't know what she, I think this Bob is, like, really serving her. And I don't know what it was about her, but she, like, wasn't bothering me in the way that she usually does. I thought she was being cute. Her boyfriend's spelling of his name is... It's my personal Super Bowl. It is bar none the craziest thing that's ever happened on this show.

1:59Claudia Oshry:It is the Super Bowl of name spelling and extraneous vowels. So and it's also just like it's Owen. E-own.

2:05Jackie Oshry:But no it's literally just Owen. Why?

2:07Claudia Oshry:I think I'm calling him Owen for one second.

2:10Jackie Oshry:I can't imagine that we're actually going to be calling him a lot. Like I don't foresee him being. She's pregnant then. That's what's crazy.

2:16Claudia Oshry:I think they're the central drama because he's married.

2:19Jackie Oshry:Oh right. Right. Right. Right.

2:20Claudia Oshry:We just learned that.

2:21Jackie Oshry:I was like exciting excited when we were meeting new people and it was like like Lindsay's mom friends. Like they just seemed like interesting, cool girls. That's what I thought the show was going to be. And then like the more we expanded, I got such, such bad vibes from Kenny. And like I was excited because I knew Whitney from The Bachelor.

2:35Claudia Oshry:What's so funny is Whitney was on The Bachelor. She made it to the top eight of whose season was that? Nick? I think it was Nick. Okay. Because it was like Astrid. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because Whitney and Astrid were like best friends and they looked like. And we actually don't know anything about her personality because like she never spoke on The Bachelor. Yeah. We just like know that she's very beautiful. so when she came on the show and she was like I'm this positive like girl I'm like I didn't know

2:57Jackie Oshry:that about you it just it wasn't working for me one I think they're just super mismatched and when they introduced Kenny as like Kyle's friend who has a lot in common because they love to party I was like oh yikes um I just got really bad vibes I I liked Lindsay's read on him also like yeah we're just like she did move across the country for you it is a really big deal so I'll just say like by the end of the show like once we were out of Amanda once they went back seven months it's just a show like it's just an episode of the valley yeah and i was like i can't believe

3:27Claudia Oshry:i'm watching this now that's like not what i wanted to watch but i'll watch it because like

3:31Jackie Oshry:it's germane to west mandeval then that's why i then started watching the nick game because ben was out and they were like losing by 20 30 points so i was like slowly falling asleep because like it was over um and then i felt ben get into bed i don't know how many hours later and he was like i don't know who he was talking to because i was asleep he was like they won i'm like are you talking to me and I was like wait they did so I must have missed something major because Timothy Chalamet posted an Instagram no oh that's why I didn't know anything about it you think Kylie and Kimothy I cannot say their names Kimothy Timothy and Kylie are gonna get married like

4:06Claudia Oshry:you think they'll get engaged this year I don't know if marriage is on the table for them at all for Kylie or for him for Kylie I guess like why not I just feel like I never would have thought

4:16Jackie Oshry:But like this year, I don't know. They feel so serious. Like all the, and now it's just like, she talked about.

4:21Claudia Oshry:I definitely think they're going to have babies. I don't know if they're going to do the marriage.

4:24Jackie Oshry:But her and Travis never got married.

4:26Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

4:26Jackie Oshry:The Kardashians like don't get married. Yeah.

4:28Claudia Oshry:They don't.

4:29Jackie Oshry:Because when they do, it's so bad.

Read the full transcript

4:30Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

4:31Jackie Oshry:I wonder like if there's a poly market, like what are the chances that Kylie and Timothy are going to get engaged this year? Hold on.

4:37Claudia Oshry:I don't see engagement for them. So I would be on like the opposite. You know what? What are they saying?

4:41Jackie Oshry:33 % chance they're saying. That's really low.

4:43Claudia Oshry:That is low.

4:43Jackie Oshry:I kind of feel like a little bit higher, but I guess more so. Just because Kylie's like not marriage girly is what I feel. I love these pop culture predictions.

4:51Claudia Oshry:Yeah. I feel like that's not her benchmark, you know.

4:54Jackie Oshry:For like what is a successful relationship or like, yeah, definitely having kids. And did she say on therapist that she wanted to have more kids?

5:01Claudia Oshry:He didn't ask that question, but she has said it before. And I feel like asking it now would be like pointed. Yeah. And it's like, are you looking for kids with your boyfriend, Timothee Chalamet? Right.

5:10Jackie Oshry:Well, you can download the app now on Polly Market and use code toast to skip the wait list and be the first in line when those pop culture markets hit live.

5:19Claudia Oshry:I love that.

5:19Jackie Oshry:Yeah, me too. So I watched so much TV, like seriously, Gen Z brain rot. I also finished, I actually didn't even finish off campus, but I finished my journey with off campus. Yeah. You know, I hate to be a naysayer because I know so many people are liking it. Like I get it. Sometimes you like brain rot stuff, but you guys, it's bad. Like, I'm sorry. And people did not like when people didn't like when I said that, like you have to.

5:40Claudia Oshry:It happens all the time where like the thing is actually bad. like not all the time actually not with everything we have a high bar we have a high bar this is

5:50Jackie Oshry:really not good you guys like it's so corny it's hallmark but then like we got into lifetime because like there was some like they you know they covered the topic of domestic violence like it's degrassi oh my god it's degrassi like it's so fucking corny i can't take it and like it's

6:07Claudia Oshry:just not giving anymore so i again if degrassi came out today like you guys would be sad you

6:12Jackie Oshry:Oh, absolutely.

6:13Claudia Oshry:You 35-year-old.

6:13Jackie Oshry:Degrassi did come out. Today. It's called Off Campus.

6:17Claudia Oshry:Right. Yeah. Right, and that's what you're watching.

6:19Jackie Oshry:Two episodes left. I'm personally, maybe I'm too old, or maybe I'm too mature. Maybe I'm too wise. Like, I'm done.

6:25Claudia Oshry:I'm happy to hear it. You have to know your boundaries.

6:29Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

6:29Claudia Oshry:And your limitations.

6:30Jackie Oshry:I also feel like I, so I'm pretty much caught up on my content plate, of course, for the three books that I have to read. But also, I have two episodes of Rory to catch up on. And this fight between Kelsey and Rosie, did you watch it?

6:40Claudia Oshry:No, but everyone's talking about it.

6:42Jackie Oshry:I will get caught up by the end of the week so we can talk about it, but everyone's talking about it. And Rosie was on Watch Rebens Live.

6:47Claudia Oshry:It couldn't have been last night, but maybe tonight.

6:50Jackie Oshry:Yeah, maybe tonight. I love to see that, like, I think Rosie won the fight.

6:55Claudia Oshry:I'm seeing that sentiment, yes. But I don't really want to, like, engage too much because I really want to have my own opinion.

7:01Jackie Oshry:Yeah, I agree.

7:02Claudia Oshry:So we'll watch it at some point, hopefully.

7:04Jackie Oshry:Before the end of the week, yeah.

7:05Claudia Oshry:Yeah, maybe tonight.

7:06Jackie Oshry:Yeah, because Thursday there's another Knicks game. Like, I'm literally Samantha from Sex and the City. I'm actually Kylie from Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

7:13Claudia Oshry:What did Samantha do?

7:15Jackie Oshry:Samantha starts dating this guy in this one episode that's, like, obsessed with sports, specifically the Knicks. And she says she doesn't get laid unless the Knicks win. And so she, like, gets really into basketball. And, like, finally the Knicks lose, like, for the season. And she's kind of relieved. And then he, like, turns on baseball. Oh, that's funny. It's a funny episode. People always, like, compare Kylie to that. But, like, also me.

7:31Claudia Oshry:Yeah. Oh, that's really funny.

7:32Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

7:33Claudia Oshry:Well, I want to get into the stories because I want to talk about Summer House. Yeah. In an official capacity. The trailer came out and like that's just.

7:41Jackie Oshry:Did you feel like it was a really long trailer, which I appreciated?

7:44Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

7:44Jackie Oshry:Just in terms of like.

7:45Claudia Oshry:It felt long because I was like watching it on my phone. So I was like, is there a time limit here?

7:49Jackie Oshry:It also felt long because like I literally kept pausing. Like I had to like see people's faces. And you know what I'm just now realizing? West was not in the inaugural episode of In the City.

7:58Claudia Oshry:He's not on In the City. He's not like a singer. Oh, I don't know why I thought he was. Maybe he'll be on it like when him and Amanda get together because she's on it. Now they're eligible. But he's just a random single. like Jesse Solomon's not in the city. Carl's not even on. Right. Yeah. Oh, we did get to see more of Lindsay's apartment.

8:15Jackie Oshry:It's so nice. It's so nice. Gemma's so cute. I found that interesting that Gemma was on the show because she's like a swirly who doesn't put her baby on social media.

8:23Claudia Oshry:So Andy asked her about that on Watch What Happens Live. Oh. He said we've had many conversations about it. Andy has spoken to Turner about it as well because Turner is the one who doesn't want Gemma on social media and otherwise. I think if it were up to Lindsay, she would have Gemma on social media. so she said one like this is her job she can't embark on a show about her as a mom without showing her being a mom and she decided to just like pick her battles like she's fine to keep gem off of social media if that's what turner wants but she's putting gem on tv because that's what she needs to do in order to provide for her daughter i feel like she is like interesting and

8:55Jackie Oshry:beloved enough that she could have gotten away with not putting on i don't think it's that

8:58Claudia Oshry:important to her it's not yeah it's her verse turner not turner and lindsey verse the world

9:02Jackie Oshry:yeah okay interesting and andy cohen doesn't show his kids either right he like stopped

9:07Claudia Oshry:Did he?

9:07Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

9:08Claudia Oshry:He doesn't.

9:09Jackie Oshry:But like when they were, I think the first one when he was little, Andy did. And maybe like something happened that like he got a bad vibe because now he doesn't at all. Like we've never seen the girl.

9:16Claudia Oshry:Oh, interesting.

9:19Jackie Oshry:There aren't a lot. Oh, I was thinking the other day, do we think Alex Cooper is going to show her baby on social media? No. I don't think so either. Especially after you've been through like, not that she's been canceled, but once you've been through like a scandal. Once you've been scorned by the internet. You see a really ugly side of it that you would never willingly. put the most precious thing in the world to you. So maybe before this, she might have one day, but now I don't think so.

9:40Claudia Oshry:I'll be curious.

9:42Jackie Oshry:Me too.

9:43Claudia Oshry:But she also just doesn't share that much personal stuff. It's true. And I don't think she wants her Instagram to be, first of all, she's not like an Instagram content creator. She posts - She doesn't share her life. She posts like produced, her produced content.

9:52Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

9:53Claudia Oshry:It's not like daily stories. And so I think she can get away with like not, she doesn't want to make her whole thing like a motherhood page. I actually don't think it's germane to her Instagram account.

10:02Jackie Oshry:Yeah. No I agree So I'm Polymarket predicting That she's not going to Okay yeah we can dive in Because we're just like Sort of circling The summer house stream

10:11Claudia Oshry:We're just like talking about the thing So let's just talk about the thing Oh we majed yesterday That was like the only major

10:16Jackie Oshry:We did maj

10:16Claudia Oshry:Thing that we did yesterday

10:18Jackie Oshry:I love majong I can't believe like What did I used to do before majong

10:21Claudia Oshry:I don't know

10:21Jackie Oshry:I like literally forsake All my responsibilities To play for majong In the middle of the day

10:25Claudia Oshry:Like I definitely puttered around And like put my piles away more Like right now I have a pile in my bedroom That if I wasn't playing Mahjong yesterday like I would have put away

10:34Jackie Oshry:I was definitely just like really prompt with answering like all my texts and emails that's no longer who I am

10:40Claudia Oshry:it's just like a two hour gap I know but it sort of spills into

10:44Jackie Oshry:because I can't do it before and I can't do it after of course and like sort of recover from like all the winning yeah it's a lot

10:50Claudia Oshry:you need to put out in your OOO

10:53Jackie Oshry:I need to have a daily bounce back email that's like sorry don't expect to respond I'm playing Mahjong.

10:59Claudia Oshry:Send your email again in an hour

11:00Jackie Oshry:try again later.

11:01Claudia Oshry:Okay now Now, without further ado, dot, dot, do, here are the Fast Five stories that you, dot, do need to know.

And too often, the options out there, whether you're feeding a baby, a toddler, or a big kid, just don't meet the standards of what you want for your child. You know, we're constantly having to compromise on ingredients, nutrition, transparency, even safety, especially when it comes to convenience.

And you know that you're helping set up your kid with healthy habits for life, which is the kind of peace of mind that matters most.

14:44Jackie Oshry:So whether you're in the baby stage, they have tons of different options, like first bites, first spoons. They have baby blends, pouches, puffs. Once you enter the toddler stage, they've got the biteables, which are cut to size pinchable meals that make the transition to table food much easier. All of their baby and toddler recipes are tested for over 500 contaminants, including heavy metals. They also have the puffs, which are the perfect snacks for toddlers. And then once you get to the big kid stage, as their opinions and appetites grow, Little Spoon does too. They have plates that are heat and eat with superfoods and hidden veggies.

15:12Jackie Oshry:Great for picky eaters. It's just peace of mind at every stage, whether it's snacks, meals, blends, whatever you're doing. You can feed your kids and it doesn't have to be complicated. Little Spoon makes it easy with real nutritionally balanced meals and snacks designed for every stage. 15:59Jackie Oshry:Okay. So the finale. I don't remember in seasons past where everybody cried so much at the end of summer. I know. It almost felt like they knew something. Even though I'm not trying to be a theorist. But like a lot of the seasons end. Sometimes like the girls give like a long hug. But it's never so drama. And I'm not even talking about Kyle and Amanda. I'm talking about like Sierra and Amanda crying, hugging. Like why?

16:19Claudia Oshry:I don't know. Like maybe, maybe for them, like they knew that, you know, Amanda has to go do this big thing and divorce her husband. So like they're crying for that. But it did also feel like everyone was just like sad to be leaving each other. Yeah. They were also probably like hungover and just like emo. Yeah. But it was really last day of camp vibes. I also think that on the whole, aside from Kyle and Amanda, like everyone really bonded this summer and like really had a good time, had a lot of fun. They were very like enmeshed in each other. and I don't know I'm trying to like not be judgmental that they were crying

16:49Jackie Oshry:no me neither it's just they never do I don't care that they were crying no I'm just like

16:53Claudia Oshry:but you're just going back to the city where you could see a person the next day like what are we so sad about

16:58Jackie Oshry:I think that they had a really good summer and I think in seasons past they've sort of looked at this as like a job and they don't really like hang out as a group a lot they don't go out a lot this year Sierra was saying like I went out so much this summer yeah it was more of like a camp and you know when you leave camp you cry you do cry when you leave camp

17:15Claudia Oshry:But also friends are going like all across the country. Right. It won't be, you know, you have to go back to school. But like these people, they could rent the house next weekend if they wanted to. Yeah, if they wanted to.

17:23Jackie Oshry:It was weird. So it did feel like foreshadowing something. It was like spooky. It did.

17:29Claudia Oshry:A lot of people. And even Kyle, I mean, I think they used this specific audio because it was sort of like how Lala was foreshadowing the end of income rules. Like how the group will like never be the same. And like, yeah, they I don't know when Kyle spoke those words, but they put it at a very apt time because it really foreshadowed the fact that things will never be the same.

17:47Jackie Oshry:Oh, Sierra and Wes hooked up like they made out the last night, which obviously makes this whole Amanda thing. Like we've been sort of waiting. Like, did they ever rekindle? And I don't know what happens after the summer, but I do believe they went on a date or two because Dumas spotted them out.

17:59Claudia Oshry:Well, like, of course, because so here we are now. They leave the Hamptons. They just had like this makey outie night. They like each other. They're back to being friends. Like they're going to like text that day, the next day. They're going to see each other in the city. Like I need to know and we'll find out what happened next. Because something more happened, whether it was another breakup or they tried to give it another go. Like more has happened. You don't just like have that sort of night with your best friend that you love.

18:23Jackie Oshry:And it was hard to watch that scene of them kissing. Like it was just painful. There was a really bothersome scene where like West, I think he thought he was being like really open and vulnerable with Ben when they were at like that snow party. and they're laying there and he's talking about how like he's you know so glad that he's back on good terms with sierra and he like doesn't really want to rekindle things just was like you know like last time his mistake was that he didn't tell her that he couldn't do a serious relationship but it's like do you have a disability that you can't do a serious relationship you're talking about it like you physically cannot do it when it's like this is a girl you literally said in one breath i'm so attracted to her we have like the most amazing chemistry she's my person she's literally my best friend but you know i have this disability what do you mean like why i know i wish i think that was him thinking he was like being evolved like owning

19:04Claudia Oshry:that but like wait why no i wish ben had said like why not is there something being serious

19:10Jackie Oshry:barring you from physically being able to do it like he just kept saying that being like and we're supposed to think he's like mature for understanding that but like what are you talking about this is a girl you're sexually attracted to you're emotionally attracted to you're literally in love with her you guys tell each other that you love each other you like make out all the what are you talking

19:25Claudia Oshry:about no i don't understand people who are so like allergic to monogamous serious relationships because and I'm sure one day when he enters one, maybe it's not with Amanda because they're having a terrible time. But I think one day when he enters one, like he will realize it's actually amazing. It's way more fun than watch parties and hooking up with fans. Like it's great.

19:45Jackie Oshry:But is that why? Like because he wants to hook up with fans? Look at Kyle Cook, a 43-year-old who hooks up with. Does anybody look at Kyle Cook's life and think, yeah, that's where I want to be at 43?

19:55Claudia Oshry:I don't know. But what's so crazy is like West is Kyle 15 years prior. The staying out late, the refusal to get serious. And it's so crazy that like Amanda is going for the exact sort of guy. But that young Kyle is going for the same girl that young Kyle went for when it doesn't work out for old Kyle.

20:17Jackie Oshry:The thing, the difference between old Kyle and current West is West is worse because Kyle was always very clear about who he was. Like, that's why I kind of like I do blame Amanda. Like we knew, you knew, Kyle has not changed. He is who he is. West is this truly awful guy under the guise of like woke. Like he's like, I love women and we need to respect and boundaries. He uses like therapy talk while quite literally being the worst human being alive. Kyle was very upfront about he has not changed one bit. Like you can say all you want about him, but he's consistent.

20:54Claudia Oshry:He's just like the same guy, different generation. They just have different generation.

20:57Jackie Oshry:They just have different words that they use for it in different like. No, but Kyle was never trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes about who he was. Like for real.

21:03Claudia Oshry:I guess. But what I also don't understand is in this city, like they're in therapy. Their relationship is done. It seems like Kyle does not want to get divorced. Yeah. Watch what happens live. Like he's talking about Amanda like he would take her back.

21:13Jackie Oshry:I just want to say how he's treating her post West Mandeville. Like I never thought I'd say this, but like it kind of points to him being a good guy because he could so go after Amanda, be the hero that. But like he I don't know if you saw like she was at the in the city premiere and like obviously everyone like she's like a radioactive. Nobody wants me to hear. And he's grabbing her like taking all the pictures. He made her come. He keeps talking to press being like he's really worried about even when she walked into his apartment. He was like, you're so skinny. Like, yeah, I don't know.

21:40Claudia Oshry:It's getting good guy. Also giving, there was so much hatred in their marriage and it wasn't coming from him. Like he does not hate her.

21:46Jackie Oshry:No.

21:47Claudia Oshry:He loves her.

21:48Jackie Oshry:I know. It's really sad.

21:49Claudia Oshry:And he hated him. Oh, so here's what I was saying. Like what I don't understand. So they're in therapy. They're not living together. He wants to stay married. Truly. He loves her. And she just like can't deal with, amongst other things, the partying, the going out, the staying out late. So the night before therapy as a DJ gig, which I forgive him for being a DJ personally, because once I, now I understand more about these financials and I want to talk about them. He needs to be a DJ. That is where he's actually making money that he can use to live his life. Or funnel into the business. No, but I think the summer house money goes to the...

22:19Claudia Oshry:Right, right. No, he needs money. He needs money. So he's a DJ. Fine. Forgiven. He's DJing until 2 a.m. Then she said he stayed out for another two hours and didn't come home until 4 a.m. when you have therapy the next day and you're trying to work on your marriage. And that's the exact thing she wants you to stop doing. I would ask him... Like a toddler. Why did you do that?

22:37Jackie Oshry:Why can you not stop doing the thing that she wants you to stop doing, but you want to be married so bad.

22:42Claudia Oshry:Why can't you stop being out past 2 a.m.?

22:44Jackie Oshry:You're like 45.

22:46Claudia Oshry:But I just don't understand it.

22:47Jackie Oshry:Yeah, it's like Wes, like do you have some sort of disability that stops you from going home before 2 a.m.?

22:51Claudia Oshry:What is it?

22:52Jackie Oshry:I don't know.

22:53Claudia Oshry:Like that, I can't understand him. If I'm Amanda, I'm like, well, there's no working on this if you're going to be out till 4 a.m.

23:00Jackie Oshry:Yeah, and also I think that like Amanda's pretty much made up her mind but she doesn't want to say it yet and so she's going through the motions therapy, taking some time apart, me moving out. And I think that's making it worse because I think it gives Kyle hope. And then not only does she, I don't think that her and Wes cross timelines. I really don't. But it looks like she moved on so quickly, but she's been checked out. I feel like she decided at the end of summer. And they don't really technically divorce till November. January. I think that they separated for, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then the statement.

23:29Jackie Oshry:Right, the statement was January. So it's a lot of months of like her being, you know, kind of on the road to recovery and he's still in it. Yeah. So her like her decision paralysis is, I think, making it worse.

23:39Claudia Oshry:Yeah, but I think sometimes you have to slide and do a decision. You can't just flip a switch. Otherwise, it's too startling. So I understand why for her, but for him, he's been in denial the whole time.

23:51Jackie Oshry:The reunion trailer is giving Scandaval. Everyone's obviously coming, mostly for Wes, just because he's really left Amanda to hang out. He doesn't say one word in the trailer. He didn't say one word in the leaked audio. He's not speaking. And I need to know if you knew about the grandma. I feel like everyone's moved on from the grandmother. I personally haven't. And yes, it's a huge factor here. Although I will say, like, and I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but like I really seeing Amanda not only in the city premiere, but also showing up at Kyle's apartment, like weighing three pounds.

24:21Jackie Oshry:Like I do feel bad for her. And like it's like I feel like she's been punished. Like, yeah, she's been punished. And like, it's OK.

24:28Claudia Oshry:Yeah, I think the reunion will sort of like be the last thing. I mean, the film. So now watching it and then we can like start figuring out where we go from here. What does next summer look like? How did the fans feel? but like we have to I need to hear what she has to say how she can remotely justify this when the person she was this summer to Sierra like ride or die would do anything for her would kill West if she needed to how that person then becomes the one sitting on that couch like mad that you're mad at me that I'm dating the guy that you liked all summer that you cried over with me it's it's I need to see the reunion because right now it seems like she's had a brain injury Lobotomy.

25:05Jackie Oshry:Yeah. The viral moment from the trailer that everyone's talking about. And I think everyone's like, yes, Sierra X-Lay is like Sierra's talking to Wes and Amanda being like, Amanda, you think he loves you? Like he's literally only with you to spite me.

25:17Claudia Oshry:Yeah. She said over the past six years, I've been your fucking champion. I couldn't fathom that I'd be sitting here pissed that you're fucking my ex. He wants to embarrass me. He wants to get his last little word. And I hope it works because he's with you to spite me.

25:29Jackie Oshry:and I do feel like that really points to just like a genuine misunderstanding on Sierra's part like of this whole West saga. I feel like her issue with West is that like he never considers her. He never fact it's very big and carry coded like we're so clearly endgame and you don't even consider me. You don't even think about me. So to say that like he had this elaborate relationship to get back at Sierra like if only he cared that much. That's like our issue with him. So that's not it at all. It's just him being honestly a thoughtless little pig.

25:56Claudia Oshry:yeah however if what she's saying like I need to see what happened what's the context like what happened after this summer is he mad at her do he want to date her and she said no and now he's trying to spite her like what happened I'm looking why is she saying that as to why she would say that because based on what I've seen so far it couldn't be further from the truth I wish he like

26:14Jackie Oshry:was that thoughtful and elaborate to hurt her like that means you care about her and the whole thing is like he really doesn't because if he did he never would have hooked up with her that night yeah you can't she's so clearly in love with him it's like literally you could see it in the air

26:27Claudia Oshry:like it's so palpable giddy yeah and it just means something so he's happy he's happy it means

26:33Jackie Oshry:something so different to them it's so sad yeah it was very hard to watch and then in the city like i'm sorry i was bored but only because like it's new people and you know me i'm like so stubborn yeah i'm sure it's gonna be a good show and i will watch it but like seriously just give me lindsay like i don't care about anyone else um i know but you have to like put in the work to

26:49Claudia Oshry:like come to beloved you know new lindsay and i literally like had one of my birthday parties at the Garrett like in another life I would have ended up on the show totally yeah also that couple where she like left for a few days and he didn't notice Yvonne that was weird that was weird

27:05Jackie Oshry:they're getting weird yeah and that's actually what we need like that's the type of shit I like to watch but I was so sort of like blown away by Whitney and Kenny like I couldn't get over them I think that they're such a bad couple like pairing wise um somebody said it's giving Jackson Brittany like you know sweet girl moves out to the big city for you and you're like we're

27:24Claudia Oshry:just taking it day by day I just want to say Whitney has been an influencer for like almost 10 years now she knows what she's doing I think oh I didn't get the vibe from her personality

27:34Jackie Oshry:that she's like real like killer you know I don't think she's killer but I don't think she's like so

27:38Claudia Oshry:naive like I think that maybe she moved to the city to be on the show with him yes like which is also giving Brittany Cartwright it's a good comparison somebody made on Twitter I think Britney's been living in LA like she said she was a Midwest girl she's from there but I think she's been living in LA since The Bachelor how do they even mean I don't know I just got such bad vibes around no I think um it's not Britney Cartwright who literally came like fresh off fresh off the farm yeah right into Hollywood I thought it was a good comparison his sister's a really big influencer right did I make that up I think her sister is an influencer like in the same way that she is or is there an influencer who has the same last name as her no no I think that what's the name of the sister Jacqueline Franz way yeah yeah yeah is that her sister I think so I think she lives in Florida Jacqueline oh of course Instagram doesn't let you actually

28:31Jackie Oshry:like see people's handles just they'll give you an AI generated description of them and where they

28:37Claudia Oshry:went to school she's 22 boom oh on TikTok she's 270 on Instagram anyway so like she's of this world is all I want to say. Oh yeah. She's not like you know bright eyed bushy tailed. I don't know.

28:50Jackie Oshry:It's giving bright eyed like her walking through and like talking to her dog while her dog makes a poop like it's giving bright eyed and bushy tailed.

28:55Claudia Oshry:I think she also just has like a really bubbly and lovely personality.

28:57Jackie Oshry:I think she has like a soft voice. I mean we'll see how it plays out and like how he treats her. And like could he call her a

29:03Claudia Oshry:doll one more time? I don't know why that was really giving me the ick. No and like even he was like saying describing her to Kyle. And comparing her to Amanda that really bothered me.

29:13Jackie Oshry:Yeah I don't know he gives me really bad vibes.

29:14Claudia Oshry:yeah he does I did not like he does um but it's promising maybe she's using him by the way I think

29:22Jackie Oshry:that's entirely possible which I am also down for yeah um so the show is promising I just have like high expectations because like I watched it after the summer house finale and it's like and now I'm watching like these randos in a bar like I'm you know yeah a little bit I'll obviously keep watching.

29:39Claudia Oshry:A little bit just because of Wes Manderval.

29:42Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

29:43Claudia Oshry:So Summer House reunion next week. Like can't wait. Seriously can't.

29:47Jackie Oshry:Like literally having a watch party Wes. I hope you come.

29:49Claudia Oshry:He will love it.

29:51Jackie Oshry:Yeah. I'll send him an invite.

29:52Claudia Oshry:Are you ready for our next story?

29:54Jackie Oshry:Mm-hmm.

29:55Claudia Oshry:In no particular order I would say. That was like the main.

29:59Jackie Oshry:Yeah. No that's like four stories in one. Yeah.

30:01Claudia Oshry:Harry Styles tour stage setup is being reviewed after fans have trashed the viewing experience.

30:05Jackie Oshry:I was wondering if like any of the feedback had gotten back to him.

30:09Claudia Oshry:Well, so this is like not about anything that we've all said, but just like, I guess he like tried to like, re like reinvent the wheel.

30:17Jackie Oshry:It's the biggest thing I've ever seen his stage. Like he doesn't need to be doing all that.

30:22Claudia Oshry:Yeah. So, um, he's, it's bigger.

30:24Jackie Oshry:It looks bigger or around the same size as the arrow store.

30:26Claudia Oshry:He's reviewing parts of the stage set up for his tour. After some fans complained about restricted views from certain sections in the stadium. So rep for the tour told TMZ. He did this like this floor concept was designed to give fans freedom of movement and the ability to experience the show from different positions rather than being confined to one fixed viewing angle. That open, free flowing floor experience has always been an essential part of Harry's live show.

30:48Jackie Oshry:Yes, like they all do the dance like and they do a mosh in the circle.

30:51Claudia Oshry:A small area of the staging in specific floor positions appears to have had restricted sight line. Those areas are being reviewed carefully and adjusted where possible in compliance with all safety restrictions.

31:00Jackie Oshry:Yeah, no, of course. Even though restricted view is just a part of tour life. It happens. And a lot of times if you go to the box office, they'll move you around. I just feel like that's not what we're talking about.

31:11Claudia Oshry:It's not what we're talking about. Also, I guess it's like there's a reason that things are the way they are in terms of layout. This is a stadium. Right. We have to consider speakers and fire exits. Reinventing the wheel here maybe was not necessary.

31:24Jackie Oshry:Yeah, I just feel like of all the things that people were.

31:27Claudia Oshry:Is it different than GA on the floor?

31:28Jackie Oshry:I don't know. he's talking a lot of words about just people standing around like which sounds like ga which

31:34Claudia Oshry:ga is like a pit commonplace pit yeah yeah i'm gonna be in the pit that's very commonplace so

31:40Jackie Oshry:um i do wonder if like any of the feedback like when you're an artist at that level so i guess it's just like person dependent like do you want to know the feedback after opening night and like you adjust or you're just like they don't understand me well i would say if i were him like i would go by how it feels on the stage like does it feel like everyone's having a great time

31:58Claudia Oshry:and the vibes are high because that's what matters. What people are saying online about a little clip that they saw, I wouldn't let get to me because I know what we experienced all there together. So I wonder what the energy is like in the stadium. That's what I'd go off of.

32:12Jackie Oshry:Yeah. Obviously, I'm like Harry talk now. I watched this insanely long video of a girl who was there being like her criticisms, you know, like the set list. I was like, why am I here? So good luck.

32:26Claudia Oshry:What was her criticism? the set list the movements the set list he has two albums like yeah i don't know but that was

32:32Jackie Oshry:like real niche fan stuff like yeah i could have nitpicked taylor's but that doesn't make the air store bad she was like it just like wasn't my personal vibe i think that like the stage was really really big and he's like running around huffing and puffing and like even the graphics i think they were even complaining that like the images like the graphics were like really um and yeah i saw like a an unfortunate clip of his graphics where he had like he's obviously a runner He had like taken videos of his feet running Like that's really crazy Yeah

33:00Claudia Oshry:Okay so the graphics I guess it's like hard when people pick apart You're like what you work so hard on

33:06Jackie Oshry:Like sorry

33:06Claudia Oshry:They do it to Katy Perry all the time

33:08Jackie Oshry:They do it to all female artists So like I am bringing the same energy Because people are like you're being really hard on Harry I'm like no I'm actually being turdy Like if I was saying it about Katy Perry Like you guys wouldn't have cared You remember all those clips of unfortunately And I'm sorry she was doing a lot Like her vocals were on point Sorry one thing about me Like if your vocals aren't on point when I come to see you sing or if you're doing the whole like passing the microphone to the crowd during the best part of the song. Like that's one of my biggest criticisms. So like I saw a lot of videos of him like not hitting his own notes.

33:33Jackie Oshry:And that's just totally unacceptable to me, honestly. So the same level of critique we all gave the Ares tour and like literally every female tour is the same energy we're bringing for Harry Styles. Sorry you don't like it, but if a woman ever put together like such a shit show, honestly, Katy Perry is a great example.

33:45Claudia Oshry:I don't feel like Ares tour got this level of critique. The difference is there's always going to be haters. She raised a bar. Trolls online, whatever. her own fans when they went nobody was like because by the way because there was nothing to criticize but like what's this is like the people there are complaining it's not just haters online

33:59Jackie Oshry:no no it's like people left the experience being like i mean it was good but like yeah that's like

34:04Claudia Oshry:anyone who went to the errors tour did not come away with something negative especially he's just

34:08Jackie Oshry:sort of shot himself in the foot because the pricing was so it was like i remember people talking about it before i the tour even started so that was the same thing with the errors tour Like she did all that because people were literally like selling their cars to go and you have to give people a show. And so the expectations were high because of the pricing. And I just feel like maybe, you know, the show fell flat a little bit. Okay.

34:28Claudia Oshry:Well, we'll see what happens next.

34:29Jackie Oshry:It's only the first show. So it obviously gets better. But yeah. Yeah.

34:33Claudia Oshry:Our next story is some very exciting news. Love Island USA star Jalen Brown is married.

34:39Jackie Oshry:What?

34:41Claudia Oshry:Jalen Brown. We remember him as the. Of course, he was there for one night. He was there for one night.

34:45Jackie Oshry:The truck driver who was in love with Olandria. And think if we were doing like Joe Landria right now instead of Nick-Olandria.

34:52Claudia Oshry:I know, but he's married. To who? To his girlfriend.

34:56Jackie Oshry:I'm sick.

34:57Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

34:58Jackie Oshry:That's like actually a really quick turnaround.

35:00Claudia Oshry:Had a courthouse wedding ceremony on May 15th. I mean, he means business.

35:03Jackie Oshry:He's such a serious guy. Remember all those brands? Because he had said, this is his first time leaving the country. And he got sent home on the first night because of fucking Olandria. I'm so mad at her for that. He loved her so much. and he said it was his first time out of the country and then all these brands were like well it won't be your last and like hilton american express everybody got a million followers he got a million he was the first cast member on the show to reach a million followers on tiktok which

35:26Claudia Oshry:when he was on we watched him on love island for one night because he came on he said i'm here for

35:32Jackie Oshry:he came on in leather underwear remember he came on during that with pepe with pepe so Wait who did he marry

35:40Claudia Oshry:Yeah wait here there's a clip Her name is Joya This is what he posted on his Instagram I'm seriously so happy for them And he said the Browns 515 Oh my god them doing Courthouse

35:53Jackie Oshry:Like I feel sick she's the luckiest girl in the world And that could have been Olandria

35:56Claudia Oshry:I know and what's so crazy is like He is who he said he was

36:00Jackie Oshry:Absolutely true look at him and not a year later He was really looking for love

36:04Claudia Oshry:Yeah and that it could have been Alandria. And like,

36:08Jackie Oshry:I wonder if like for one second, she regrets that decision. No, cause like she's the most famous girl in the world. I'm like a part of power couple, but like,

36:13Claudia Oshry:but imagine what sort of couple they'd be like, we would have loved them. They would have won the show because they were both so beloved. Right.

36:19Jackie Oshry:Nick brings her down. Jalen would bring her up.

36:21Claudia Oshry:Yeah. And she would have love instead of being like single and trapped in Nicolandria.

36:26Jackie Oshry:Trapped in Nicolandria land. Like totally. Nicolandia. She would have actual love, like with a man who would worship her.

36:32Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

36:33Jackie Oshry:Like, I don't know how you just can't even give someone a chance to literally comes on the show for you and she didn't how you can't and by the way she was she didn't even like choose nick over him she chose taylor and then taylor you know very famously i picked clark picked clark you know they're still together i know i picked clark no and like they got so much hate he got so much hate for picking clark and i just want to say they're the real deal they are i see them on tiktok all the time they're like so in love but also when we poke holes in nick

36:58Claudia Oshry:alandria like we often cite like their you know combined lack of interest in each other nick literally had a girlfriend.

37:04Jackie Oshry:Alandria being obsessed with.

37:05Claudia Oshry:We never talk about Alandria being obsessed with Taylor.

37:07Jackie Oshry:Because Taylor and Clark are so OTP like we forget about it.

37:10Claudia Oshry:She's hung up on Taylor. If she couldn't even give Jalen the time of day but now she's with Nick.

37:15Jackie Oshry:Yeah the crazy thing was that like she wouldn't give Jalen the time of day because of Taylor.

37:19Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

37:19Jackie Oshry:Who like had no riz and like very clearly didn't even like her. Yeah. I pick Clark. I pick Clark.

37:29Claudia Oshry:That's sad. I pick Clark. Well I'm so happy for Jalen. Me too. Great end to the story. Love always wins. No and it's like it's nice to see someone go on reality television like their life isn't ruined. No not only that. It's just like an added benefit and then they carry on regular scheduled programs.

37:45Jackie Oshry:It's also nice to see somebody go on reality TV like saying that they want love and then actually like making moves in their life that prove that they did in fact want love. That never happens.

37:52Claudia Oshry:No it's nice to see someone going on reality TV and like being who they said that they were on reality TV.

37:57Jackie Oshry:I knew it. Like he was so pure.

37:59Claudia Oshry:Yeah. we chose the right one okay what's a million on tiktok which brand is like sending them on a honeymoon i don't know but can you check his tiktok and see if he's like activating and

38:53Claudia Oshry:He met before Love Island. Like, he went on.

38:54Jackie Oshry:Maybe she's just a girl from his hometown. They met on a cruise. Oh, my God. Maybe one of his sponsored cruises.

39:01Claudia Oshry:They met on a Royal Caribbean cruise in 2025. I'm sorry I ever even entertained the idea.

39:06Jackie Oshry:You did doubt them.

39:07Claudia Oshry:I just wanted to, like, cross all my tees down.

39:10Jackie Oshry:This is how me and Joya got this thing started at Royal Caribbean. This is my version. This is my side of the story on how me and Joya met. I'm sorry. So, of course, we met in 2025. in the summertime. I love his accent. I got invited by Royal Caribbean Cruise. Stars of the Sea. Shout out to Royal Caribbean. Royal Caribbean has to do their honeymoon. So I got invited out. It was like a content influencer type.

39:39Claudia Oshry:I love him so much. So it was right after Love Island, one of his sponsored trips, because remember a bunch of brands were reaching out to him to let him see the world. And he met her there, so it couldn't be more pure and beautiful. it's beautiful like it's just he hadn't gone on love island he wouldn't have met her

39:55Jackie Oshry:yet because of his sponsored gig it's not a girl from home like it's someone he only could have met because of the platform so we all did that like this is the greatest news i've ever i know i miss the days where we were all like talking about jaylen wait by the way love island premieres

It's not trendy, but it might be one of the most important and overlooked parts of your health. Nearly 95 % of people are not getting enough fiber. Modern diets and busy lifestyles make it really, really hard to get enough consistently. And that's why Momentus has launched Fiber Plus, which is a triple action formula combining soluble and insoluble fiber with prebiotic resistant starch to support gut health and digestion to help your body absorb nutrients better, stabilize blood sugar and improve recovery.

43:02Jackie Oshry:If you're on a GLP-1 journey or if you're starting a GLP-1 journey, shout out to Dr. Gizu who told me like the most important thing is fiber. So whether you can get that in food or through a supplement to do it. and Mentis is such a great like trusted supplement brand and get on their fiber. Even if you're not on GLP-1, obviously like you gotta keep things moving in your body. Fiber's always good to have but really if you're on GLP-1, trust me, biggest tip, drink a ton of water and have your fiber. Most fiber products are not evolved, single source and full of gut disrupting additives but Mentis took a totally different approach with the Fiber Plus and they combine three types of fiber helping close a major gap in modern nutrition.

43:34Jackie Oshry:So if your gut is functioning better, everything else you're doing, your diet, your workouts, your recovery just becomes more effective and we choose Momentis because they hold a higher standard. Our promo code is TOAST for up to 35 % off. Promo code TOAST. Today's episode is also brought to you by Branch Basics. So Branch Basics is a company that makes cleaning product in a really great way.

44:04Jackie Oshry:So not only, I think it's like super affordable and like organized because they have a concentrate and you mix up the concentrate, It makes the refilling really easy. You can use it on all your surfaces, but it's also a really clean brand. So I think a lot of us, when we get pets or have babies, become really conscious of the crazy chemicals we're bringing into our house, especially in cleaning products. And Branch Basics is just a great clean alternative. So the counters where you prep your food, the laundry detergent that soaks into your clothes, the floors that your kids and your pets crawl on.

44:29Jackie Oshry:With spring seasoning being here, it's worth asking a simple question. Do you actually know what you're cleaning your home with? So a lot of conventional products look clean, smell clean, even say natural, but a lot of them still contain ingredients that are linked to hormone disruption, skin irritation, respiratory issues. Well, Branch Basics is changing that entirely. It's a female founded brand, redefining transparency and eliminating toxins from homes, starting with the products that we use the most cleaning products. So their premium starter kit comes with one powerful concentrate that makes everything from laundry detergent, bathroom cleaner, glass cleaner, even pet wash and vegetable rinse.

44:59Jackie Oshry:So it's one formula. There's no mystery ingredients, no unnecessary fillers. Spring cleaning is not just about decluttering. It's about upgrading what you allow into your home. and once you see what's inside those conventional cleaners, there's really no going back. So it's made from plant and mineral-based ingredients. It's human-safe and fragrance-free. It makes it perfect for families, especially those with babies and kids and pets. Branch Basics was founded by three women. They each have a transformative personal experience that inspired their mission to create human-safe cleaning products.

45:24Jackie Oshry:And the good news is that Branch Basics is now available everywhere you shop, Target, Target.com, Amazon, and of course, BranchBasics.com. Tossing the toxins has never been more convenient and for anyone grabbing the premium starter kit, you can still get 15 % off at branchbasics.com with code toast. Just use code toast for 15 % off premium starter kit at branchbasics.com. After you purchase, when they ask you what you heard about it, make sure to let them know that it was the turst. Thank you. The turst. You're welcome.

45:48Claudia Oshry:Our fourth story, the house made franchise is expanding with a stage show after the hit. Okay. From the page to the stage. Well, from the page to the screen, to the stage, Lionsgate is turning the housemaid into a play. The psychological thriller based on the Frida Rita is being developed for the stage by the producer's melting pot, a British company. Congratulations.

46:14Jackie Oshry:I mean, if you know the premise of the book, it actually does sound like a good play. Is it a musical? I can't watch plays that aren't musicals. When they say play, it's giving not a musical. And I can't see the housemaid singing. Actually, I can. I just want to say it would make an amazing musical. I'm personally just not interested in live productions that don't have music. But that's just me. And I know that I saw one. I took a theater class in college and one of the assignments was to go see a play that wasn't a musical. So of course, you know me. I had to see like, you know, the hit show on Broadway that year.

46:44Jackie Oshry:Rachel Wise was in it. So fucking dreadful. And actually I got yelled at for eating my popcorn too loud. Like just awful. Like really.

46:52Claudia Oshry:Two days in a row of bringing up Rachel Wise.

46:54Jackie Oshry:I know. When it rains, it pours. When it rains, it pours. So also to say, while I would love to support my local theater. If there's not going to be songs, like get Pasek and Paul in there. Yeah, they need to set it to music,

47:07Claudia Oshry:be a musical, have it be amazing and then make a movie musical. Oh, I love it. The Housemade movie musical. Yeah. Amanda Safery can be in it.

47:13Jackie Oshry:Housemade the movie, the screen, the musical.

47:15Claudia Oshry:Amanda Safery can be in it because she sings. Things, yeah.

47:18Jackie Oshry:I don't think Sydney Sabini sings. I don't think she does either and it's a great opportunity. Honestly, like a Renee rap.

47:22Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

47:23Jackie Oshry:Like a young ingenue.

47:24Claudia Oshry:Yeah, I love that.

47:26Jackie Oshry:She's got Broadway history.

47:27Claudia Oshry:Just like keep running it through the rinse cycle. Yeah, right.

47:29Jackie Oshry:Nobody can create anything original anymore. So like, sure. Make a play. What the hell?

47:33Claudia Oshry:Maybe Legally Blonde, the musical, the movie.

47:36Jackie Oshry:I actually don't know that we do. Like, Legally Blonde, the movie is perfect.

47:39Claudia Oshry:I know everyone loves it. Legally Blonde. Oh, my God. Oh, my God, you guys.

47:43Jackie Oshry:Yeah. I happen to like not like that soundtrack. I know. I know. And I saw the play. I was like, this is dumb. Give me Reese Witherspoon.

47:52Claudia Oshry:I don't even know if I saw the play.

47:53Jackie Oshry:Even though, of course, if they did Legally Blonde, the musical, the movie, we could have Ava Phillippe play a young Elle. I wonder why she didn't cast Ava as Elle.

48:02Claudia Oshry:But does Ava sing? She would be more likely to play the Prime Video series. I feel like Ava, you know, wants to do her own thing. She really wants to make a name for herself. Doesn't want to be in her parents' shadow. Big mistake.

48:12Jackie Oshry:Couldn't be me. Good luck with that.

48:16Claudia Oshry:Are you ready for the vinyl? Some business news.

48:21Jackie Oshry:Chilling. I like the way you said that.

48:22Claudia Oshry:Yeah, because it's a chilling story. The Mango fashion tycoon family has been embroiled in a bitter dispute. Have you seen this story?

48:30Jackie Oshry:No, I only recently started shopping at Mango. It's kind of parchy.

48:33Claudia Oshry:Okay, so the founder and CEO of Mango fell off of a cliff.

48:37Jackie Oshry:Oh my God.

48:38Claudia Oshry:A couple of years ago. Died? And died, yes. So obviously he was shoved. So his son took over the business. He has a couple children. The son that he works with the closest became the CEO. But now it's coming out that the son and the father were embroiled in a bitter business dispute at the time of the father's death. when he plummeted off of a cliff after going on a hike with his son, who his son suggested that they go on a hike.

49:02Jackie Oshry:Did nobody think anything of it at the time?

49:05Claudia Oshry:I guess, no, they didn't. It was just ruled as an accident.

49:09Jackie Oshry:Billionaires don't just fall off of cliffs, I just want to say. But not to tell you guys how to do your job.

49:13Claudia Oshry:So the son, Jonathan Andik, appeared in court in Barcelona. Andik? A-N-D-I-C. Tough name. I don't know how to pronounce it.

49:20Jackie Oshry:Andi? Maybe the C is silent.

49:22Claudia Oshry:Yeah. Yeah. He appeared in court in Barcelona on Tuesday after he was named a suspect in the death of his father, Isaac, founder of fashion group Mango.

49:29Jackie Oshry:What were they embroiled in? Like, what was the issue?

49:33Claudia Oshry:So Jonathan, like, took over at the company while the father was still alive. And he brought in an outsider to be the company's chief financial officer. And so that, like, started a falling out between the two. I guess, like, the dad didn't like how the son was running the company. Instead, over the next three years, the company lost around$116 million, forcing the father to come out of retirement and return to the company as non-executive chairman.

49:56Jackie Oshry:I think that that's fair.

49:58Claudia Oshry:One of his moves was to remove his son as CEO in 2020. In 2024.

50:03Jackie Oshry:It's giving succession. Like, your kids are morons who can't do your job, but like, you think that they deserve it. And they think that they deserve it.

50:09Claudia Oshry:So in 2024, the father died after plunging down a 320-foot ravine in the mountains of Catalonia during a hike with Jonathan. at the time of his death he was worth 4.5 billion dollars a report from the judge in the case said that the dad was trying to change his will to create a charitable foundation at the time of his death and jonathan the son had allegedly proposed the hike together yeah me when i want

50:31Jackie Oshry:to kill someone let's go on a hike yeah that's really what i want to know is like why now are they opening it back up like what it sounds like they just found out that there was like an issue

50:39Claudia Oshry:between the dad and the son like how did they find that out and why some emails or something It was like, he's closed.

50:44Jackie Oshry:This is like so TV show.

50:46Claudia Oshry:Yeah, it really is. I didn't know things like this actually happened. And then have you heard about the Hailey Bieber like involvement?

50:53Jackie Oshry:Oh, that they posted a picture of her like wearing a mango bag or something and like made it seem like they were doing like a Hailey Mango, a Hailey Mango. Yeah, Hailey Bieber ex-Mango collab. And so she posted on her Instagram story like, love the bag, but this is not like mine.

51:06Claudia Oshry:Yeah. So she like made it clear that like this wasn't a collaborative line that she's like the face of Mango in this moment. and people think that maybe not only was she trying to like explain her role in the campaign, but maybe like distance herself from this.

51:18Jackie Oshry:From the drama. I'm going to opt to say that that's not the case because I actually hadn't even heard of this until this morning. Oh, really? Yeah, the Mango drama. I saw it. Can I see what these people look like? Yeah, sure. What else does Mango own? This is the father. Classic.

51:33Claudia Oshry:And then this is Jonathan.

51:35Jackie Oshry:I'll tell you if he's a killer. I could tell within two seconds.

51:37Claudia Oshry:Here he is like in cuffs looking like a killer.

51:38Jackie Oshry:Oh, okay.

51:39Claudia Oshry:You're definitely going to be like persuaded. He looks like the sort of killer who would just give a light shove to an old man. Well, only from the back.

51:49Jackie Oshry:He doesn't look like the type of person who's – because he looks like a coward. That's what I was going to say. But I guess shoving someone off a cliff from the back so they don't even see a kind of – that's a definition of a coward.

51:57Claudia Oshry:Yeah.

51:57Jackie Oshry:So, yeah. If they can prove that he was pushed from the back, then he did it. From the front, he doesn't have what it takes. They should be able to prove that. They have trajectories. Right. Or just like a bruise or something.

52:09Claudia Oshry:yeah but also like the way that he fell given his right weight oh god please never push me

52:15Jackie Oshry:off a cliff if my weight ever becomes and like the wind right of the day right um the santa anas yeah because this is extremely sus oh yeah i mean it's sus before billionaires just don't go flying off of cliffs like they just don't so even before we knew that they happen it's so rare

52:33Claudia Oshry:to billionaires yeah like you have to be pretty smart to become a billionaire and you have to be

52:37Jackie Oshry:pretty dumb to fall off a cliff. No, I'm kidding.

52:39Claudia Oshry:But he's like older. It could happen. Yeah, I guess.

52:42Jackie Oshry:But don't people like that like go on walks with like security? I mean,

52:45Claudia Oshry:you would hope so. But like, I don't know. I don't know. So we'll see. So it could be a little bit of patricide. What's that? The killing of the father.

52:56Jackie Oshry:Patricide? Is there matricide? I believe so. I've never heard of that word before. Like suicide. yeah, matricide. Homicide. Homicide.

53:06Claudia Oshry:genocide genocide patricide matricide definitely definitely what about like and then if you're gonna murder like both parents like like the reiners oh um that like latricide also sounds like patricide because like parents right patricidal matricide is the actual killing

53:28Jackie Oshry:one's mother jesus christ who's coming up with words for this double patricide double parasite is for both parents wow chilling vocab lesson of the day well that's our show thanks for the international business news i appreciate that i do feel like that's no by the way i love it and when you well not that i love it in a documentary now you know where you heard

53:50Claudia Oshry:it first like you'll be like oh yeah and yeah that's really crazy i feel like we're gonna be

53:54Jackie Oshry:hearing more of it oh i just want to like kind of address some of the rumors um i really think I'm pregnant.

54:00Claudia Oshry:Oh yeah.

54:00Jackie Oshry:Because I said the other day, like in all of my pregnancies, when like, Oh my God, I can't flub a word. You guys, I'm not pregnant. Like seriously, leave me alone. I'm just bad.

54:08Claudia Oshry:Let me just tell you if she were pregnant, we would have cut that out.

54:11Jackie Oshry:Oh, right. That's the other thing. We'd be on red alert for like any slip up. Yeah. Like obviously the fact that it's in there is

54:17Claudia Oshry:only further proof that I, and I just want to say like, I can't deal with like everyone always being on pregnancy. It's so annoying. Like women of a certain age who are married and want children. Like, yes, eventually they will hopefully be pregnant. And you're not a genius for figuring it out. You crack the case wide open. So like every other day, oh, I'm a little bird. She's pregnant. Yeah, right. Like, please. I can't have a flub of the bird. She's pregnant. God. Can I just fucking live? Like, seriously, stop. It doesn't make you cool to have figured it out, even if you figured something out, which you didn't.

54:46Claudia Oshry:But I just want to take this moment because we're not pregnant. Because if I was pregnant, I wouldn't be able to say that.

54:50Jackie Oshry:Of course, of course.

54:51Claudia Oshry:But speak your truth. I just want to take this moment like it doesn't make you cool or interesting to predict that the married woman who wants children is pregnant. Who already has.

54:58Jackie Oshry:yeah okay so can I just fucking live

55:00Claudia Oshry:and we didn't even mention the fact that we're twins today

55:02Jackie Oshry:oh yeah that's like a weird coincidence you're actually like

55:04Claudia Oshry:complete twins I actually thought for a second it was the same sweater

55:06Jackie Oshry:I like yours thank you it's Renly mine's nudes

55:10Claudia Oshry:I love yours and yours is a set

55:12Jackie Oshry:yeah mine is matching like I can only wear things that have matching bottoms like I don't have

55:14Claudia Oshry:usually when you get like something from like nudes or PR it's on the way it's in my mailbox yeah right it's in my foyer I can't wait to wear it tomorrow
