0:03Jackie Oshry:Good morning, girlies. It's the toast. It's Jackson Claude and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show. The fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly. It's the toast. I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and happy Thursday. Hope everybody's having a partalicious, definicious, and also a fergalicious weekend. Or Thursday? Just, oh, Friday? Wait. Thursday. It's Thursday. I kind of thought it was Friday all morning.

0:37Claudia Oshry:Oh, that's a bummer for you because I was about to say, I didn't want to jinx it, but I felt like this week was kind of like cruising by in a timely manner, but not if you think it's Friday.

0:47Jackie Oshry:Yeah, like up until this very moment, it was Friday.

0:51Claudia Oshry:But we have our music class, and our music class is on Thursdays.

0:54Jackie Oshry:Yeah. Hmm.

0:57Claudia Oshry:Interesting how the mind works. Well, it is Thursday if that changes your feelings. Yeah, worse for sure. Yeah, but you have more time to accomplish the things that you need to accomplish this week. Sure. How does that sound?

1:08Jackie Oshry:Yeah, I have more time to finish Love Story, a John F. Kennedy Jr. and Caroline Bissett story. You're watching it? I am. I got like hoodwinked. Everyone was talking about it, and you know what? Like, and everyone's saying it's so amazing, it's so amazing. And I've kind of been off Ryan Murphy for a while. I don't do American Horror Story. Like, all of his shows are, like, so freaky. I loved the O.J. one. Or, yeah, O.J. and Monica Lewinsky was very good. So, you know, he does, like, these historical things really well. And this is kind of like a blind spot in American culture for me. I wasn't alive.

1:35Jackie Oshry:And, like, I just, I don't know. I never got into it. But everyone talking about it, like, it's so chic. It's so chic. I'm like, you know what? I kind of need to watch it. And I started it with Ben. It was so funny because the first scene is, like, the very end of their story. And then they go back in time. Okay. And they're, like, getting into a plane. Yeah. Ben has no idea. He's like, this show is amazing. And like, he's like, oh, he flies. Like Ben has no idea what happens. And it's so funny. And I really don't know a lot about her, about the Kennedys in general. It's just like not like a rabbit hole I've ever really gone down.

2:04Jackie Oshry:Now I'm obviously like obsessed. And I just want to say like the show is really not good. The acting is so corny. It's almost camp, like how bad it is. but the story itself and these two people are so inherently interesting and like the time in New York the Calvin Klein like it's so chic the show is amazing because of that but don't get it twisted like it's not it's not a show that's I think done well it's not a job well done no but it's very hard to fuck up they got two actors who really look like excuse me I'm sorry Naomi Watts sucks as Jackie O I do believe it's very hard to play Jackie O I made fun of Natalie Portman too like jock like you have to talk so yeah hocked um and she's not doing a good job either um but i think anyone who does that accent like i would have thought jackie o playing it was weird yeah it's a weird way to talk maybe she's a weird lady um so like i have problems with like a lot of it and it's not good but it's so good and the crazy thing is the carol radziwell erasure because i feel like ryan murphy watched housewives and like hates carol radziwell because like he literally cut her out and I don't think because Lee's in it not Lee her Anthony yeah yeah he is JFK Jr.'s best he's in the scene I've only watched two and a half episodes he's in it ten times already so and I've heard that she's not in the show at all but like she was there I thought maybe in Housewives she was like lying about her involvement and again I didn't really know the players so her saying like she was best friends with like Jack Jack like sure no she was there or maybe she wasn't

3:32Claudia Oshry:according to Ryan Murphy

3:33Jackie Oshry:you know Ryan Murphy hates her for sure

3:36Claudia Oshry:Oh, that's so interesting.

3:37Jackie Oshry:And now I'm just putting all the pieces together because he keeps going to, you know, dinner at home with Jackie O and his sister Caroline. Caroline, Jack Schlossberg's mom. So, like, I didn't really understand, like, the Kennedy dynasty and, like, who's married to who. Yeah. And I know that, like, Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife is in there a little bit. Like, I need to learn a little bit. There's a lot of kids, like... Actually, it reminds me of my favorite TikTok.

3:58Claudia Oshry:You would love this. There's a lot. I don't know which generation it is, but, like, RFK's siblings. He has a lot of siblings.

4:06Jackie Oshry:Oh, right. And then RFK. Right. Okay. Do you know these? Okay. This is my favorite video. They like do singing. They make songs about like big families. They did one about the Kardashians. Yes, I've seen them. Kennedy, Big Daddy Kennedy. Had nine Kennedys. Joseph John Rose Mary Kick. Eunice Black Bobby Jean. Dan Kennedy. Here we go. John F. Kennedy. Fenty big presidee of the United States of America. Mary Lady Jackie. Passion like I'm Jackie. We love you, Lady Jackie. Jackie. Oh, Eunice Kennedy. John's little sis. Come in the special.

4:54Oh, the Cuomo!

4:57Jackie Oshry:Oh, the Cuomo! RFK.

5:08Jackie Oshry:So like the lore on the Kennedys, I know I'm not the first person to ever say this. That's like the point is really crazy.

5:16Claudia Oshry:I've not really gotten into them either. Yeah. I did read one book that was like fan fiction of John and Harrow in the meant to be. I think it was called Emily. Yeah. Oh, it was so amazing. You know, I think I like that version. I need to get into it. And then, of course, the Taylor Swift of it all.

5:34Jackie Oshry:Yes, yes. There's just a lot of them. I think you would like the show. And also, like, you learn about Carolyn Bissette. Like, she was kind of plucked from obscurity. Like, she was working at the mall. I learned about Carolyn in Meant to Be by Emily Giffen.

5:46Claudia Oshry:Correct.

5:47Jackie Oshry:No, it's really, like, it's good. And not because I can't stress enough. Like, the show is, like, the acting is so bad. But I also, like, Ryan Murphy's, like, clearly taking out personal grievances. Like, based on his interpretation of, like, their relationship, like, John F. Kennedy Jr. was, like, such a loser. Like, he could not get arrested. He failed the bar exam two and a half times. And he was like, this isn't district attorney, but because of who he was. And they have a rule, if you're in the district attorney's office, you have to pass the bar within three times. So when he didn't pass each time, it was like big headline news.

6:15Jackie Oshry:So he was just a loser. He didn't know who he was. He wanted to start a political magazine called George. I don't know what ends up happening with that. This whole thing is like a spoiler-free zone for me because I have no idea. And then Carolyn Bessette was just like, she was that girl. Yeah. But also I was reading a TikTok. Yeah, I read TikToks. Reading a TikTok about how Carolyn Bessette never did any interviews. Like nobody really knows her personality. So the girl playing her is just kind of like making shit up. Yeah. Based off of like photos. She's like very cool girl. She was like having sex with a lot of people.

6:41Jackie Oshry:And like you see her boobs in the show, which I thought was weird. Because that's so not Carol I'm a set.

6:43Claudia Oshry:No. I know. So like. That's kind of like undignified. Like for. Yeah.

6:47Jackie Oshry:I've seen her boobs twice already.

6:49Claudia Oshry:She didn't ever even give an interview when you're showing us her boobs. I know. She wouldn't like that.

6:53Jackie Oshry:But like I don't know where they're getting this information from. That she's a cool girl. Like out every night. Like she never does cocaine. Like everybody around her does cocaine.

7:02Claudia Oshry:Probably from like the people who knew her, you know, probably after everything happened with them, like people shared like tributes about her.

7:08Jackie Oshry:Oh, well, OK. So I'm like learning a lot. And Justice for Daryl Hannah, who was like an actress at the time who was dating JFK for like many years before. And she's like Ryan Murphy hates her. Like she's such a loser. What is Ryan Murphy like? It's a love letter to Carolyn Bessette. She's so fucking cool. Except the actress has to stop doing this. She's always biting her lip. And it's like, girl, there are other like gestures. She doesn't stop doing it. I don't even know what's trying to convey. It's not like sexy. It's like she's thinking. She went to the Carrie Bradshaw School of Acting, the girl.

7:35Jackie Oshry:Like it's so turnt. She's like jogging around New York City with her curly blonde hair. Whatever. Back to what I was saying. About what? Oh, Daryl Hannah. Oh, and so then like they haven't even gotten together yet. It's like the love story of like how they got together. And she is like this big head honcho. She like discovered Kate Moss at Calvin Klein. She's like always discovering people and she's like seeing this guy. And she decides like she just wants to make him the next. They had to replace Mark Wahlberg after his like slur drama. Do you remember that? No. He was the face of Calvin Klein.

8:03Jackie Oshry:Like he was also like a rapper. And then he said a slur and they like had to get rid of him. Marky Mark. Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. So they had to get rid of Marky and the Bunch. So they were looking for a replacement. And she's like this guy, she's fucking, she's really handsome and like a model. So she makes him whatever. And I was looking like, who is it? Is it like Brad Pitt? Who is it supposed to be? And it was this guy I never heard of, Michael Bergen. Of course, he wrote a memoir after Carolyn died saying they continued their relationship during her and JFK Jr.'s relationship. Now, he was giving like Starfucker.

8:28Jackie Oshry:Like, if that's the case, like, don't put it in a book. The fact that you're putting in a book makes me think that it's not true.

8:32Claudia Oshry:No, and like have some respect for the spoiler alert. Oh, yeah. Right. You know? Yeah. Like, we didn't need to know that. Yeah. I just kind of like need Carol Radswell to speak up. Maybe she has. Would you even know?

8:44Jackie Oshry:No, I don't follow her on platforms. But like the erasure of Carol Radswell.

8:48Claudia Oshry:Okay. Is real. Okay. I think you would enjoy it. Maybe I'll watch it. I have so much on my plate right now. Last night, I watched Summer House from the night before. and I'm continuing my journey through Southern Charm of getting caught up. So I was very much in the Bravo sphere. Summer House is as predicted. It's just going to be like copy paste every episode of like Kyle and Amanda fighting, making the house uncomfortable until they eventually divorce in four months from what we're watching now. They're going to live like this. And then there's another TV show. They're going to live like this for four more months where they literally like, they don't like each other.

9:17Claudia Oshry:It's so painful to watch. Like it really is. And they're both so sad, you know? And it's just sad. It's not like tea or anything. Summer should be fun. It's just a sad thing to watch because like she's obviously like very alone and very depressed and like she can't change this person. And he is just like he's alone in this world. Like he's very sad and, you know, separating the art from the artist. Because I know we have personal beef just watching this character on a TV show. I'm like sad for both of them. And it's clear that they can't make each other happy. So like why? Why are we still trying?

9:49Claudia Oshry:But then she'll like say nice things about him. She'll be like, I can't help but I'm in love with him.

9:53Jackie Oshry:Well, that's what I was saying. like before they announced their divorce i actually like stopped thinking that they were bad for one another because their love must have been so great to carry them through like really unforgivable things and she must have loved him so so much like so at that point like i almost was rooting for them yeah but the love wasn't enough the love wasn't enough is it ever because that was like really all they had at the end i don't think they were like a well-matched couple they don't have love that's not sorry not at the end like but for the most part like that was all they really had like they just loved each other no i don't yeah i mean why else would you stay

10:27Claudia Oshry:like seriously why else i don't know maybe just because like you can just like be comfortable with someone like they're your best friend and like and she keeps saying that's my best friend i'm like no sierra's your best the way you talk to sierra like you're so happy you're so engaged the way you talk to him that's not your best friend they they had a fight last weekend and they didn't talk about they didn't talk all week and then when they came out he like goes to apologize and she's like why don't you talk to me all week and and he was like you know and he's like you wouldn't talk to me whatever but it's like you're living in the same apartment you didn't talk all week and then you only talk on tv that's really bad yeah they're in a really bad place and i think if they wanted to they could you know work through it but what why work through it there's nothing when you are who you are and she is who she is and you're both going in different directions

Read the full transcript

11:09Jackie Oshry:like seriously why work through it yeah and also like kyle is who he is he has been who he is and like he's been really upfront about who he is for many years i feel like she went through a transition and sometimes you just change in addition to all the other things that are wrong with the marriage. I think she evolved past him.

11:24Claudia Oshry:Yeah, and evolved past putting up with it.

11:26Jackie Oshry:Yeah, which is good.

11:27Claudia Oshry:Yeah, but it's going to be a long summer.

11:30Jackie Oshry:It's going to be a long hot summer. We should be together with your feet up on the dashboard now. Oh, I wonder what Keith Urban thinks about Paul Salem. Oh my gosh. We should have a rival photo of Keith Urban. We should have musician of the week along with businessman,

11:45Claudia Oshry:but he's probably sick when he watches the toast when he sees his girl's new man. And one thing about the toast,

11:49Jackie Oshry:we are Keith Urban first show. We love Keith Urban. You're Keith over Nicole? Actually, like, I don't know. Let me think really hard. I have to think about all their past history. I mean, her step forward wives. Him, somebody like you. The fighter. Like, it's her, Big Little Lies. Like, I actually don't know whose cultural impact is personally greater.

12:11Claudia Oshry:And then, like, on a personal level, they both seem lovely. Yeah. I don't think we have to take sides. But what about like if Keith and Paul are in a duel?

12:24Jackie Oshry:Oh, I'm rooting for Keith. You're rooting for Keith.

12:26Claudia Oshry:Even if it breaks Nicole's heart.

12:28Jackie Oshry:Correct. Maybe that's like the journey back to one another, you know? You think so? Yeah. I do feel like I'm still holding out hope. Like they are OTP.

12:36Claudia Oshry:No, sometimes when a couple, like whenever I get past the shock of a couple divorcing and then like, I'm like, okay, they're split up. I'm like, how were they ever together?

12:45Jackie Oshry:Oh, no. I thought what you were going to say and that I think is that when a couple splits up and then gets back together, like, I don't know how you could lay with someone who you've been broken up with. Like, I think that a lot about, like, Greg and Nene, even though I do think they were one of the greatest love stories of our time. So, like, you went all the way to get divorced. And when you get divorced, you see, like, truly the worst side of someone. Then you get back together with them. That's crazy behavior.

13:03Claudia Oshry:No, that I wasn't even saying because that's so crazy. I just mean, like, wow, there was a time where Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were together. I'm still living in that time. What a time. But that's how I feel about, like, Kyle and Amanda. Like, how are these people ever together? Kim and Kanye.

13:17Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

13:18Claudia Oshry:Lala and Randall.

13:19Jackie Oshry:Lala and Randall. Yeah.

13:22Claudia Oshry:One of the greats. One of the famous couples throughout history. Oh, for sure. If we have a famous couples throughout history party, I'm dressing up as them.

13:30Jackie Oshry:Oh, you are. I like that. If we have a famous couples throughout history party, I'm dressing up as Joe Mancinello and Sofia Vergara.

13:37Claudia Oshry:Oh, that's nice. It's just like, I know that Randall is like. Bad. Bad. But I'm still like living in like the fantasy of what I thought their relationship was. Of what we were told. Yeah. I know like logically I know. But like when I think about like the trope of Lala and Randall, like I think it's what I thought their relationship was. Like that sounds nice. Yeah. Like everybody doubted them, but it was a true love until it wasn't. No, and it was nothing of the sort. No, it was literally a nightmare. Not funny. And you saw she's doing a podcast with his ex-wife. I did see that. They're making a lot of news.

14:09Claudia Oshry:I see a lot of clips. Is it hard for you not to choose them as stories? No, no, no. It's nothing like, there's not like big bombshells being shot, but it's just like the way they interact and like talk about stuff. And I think the ex-wife talks about how it was like so good actually when Lala was with Randall and like having her in the house and like for her kids. Like it was actually really. Positive thing. Yeah, nice. Beyond like the betrayal. Once they got past that.

14:31Jackie Oshry:Yeah, that Amber Von Tussle is a bigger woman than me. Yeah, Amber Von Tussle. That's a famous couple thread history, Lincoln Amber. Are you more of a Link in Amber stan or a Tracy in Link stan? What do you think? Amber. Like, if you had to boil down our personalities, it's literally Tracy be Amber. It's just, like, not true for me. No, it's not. But just, like, aesthetics-wise. Yeah, like, on the surface, you wouldn't think. Right. But who do you think you really, are you a penny? I have bits of pennies. Like, who do you really, in your soul, not aesthetics, like, in your soul, who do you see yourself in when it comes to the cast of Hairspray?

15:07Jackie Oshry:Because I actually see myself as Courtney Collins. I was going to say the same. Okay.

15:11Claudia Oshry:I was going to say corny. That tracks.

15:13Jackie Oshry:Yeah. Just like affable. Sound off in the comments. Who do you see yourself as non-aesthetically, but spiritually in the cast of Harris Bray? I'm also like Motormouth Maybell to my core. You're also Edna Turnwad. Don't be rude. We said in spirit.

15:27Claudia Oshry:Don't be fucking rude. We said in spirit. You're kind of Miss Pinky. Mr. Pinky. Mr. Pinky. Yeah. Pinkerton. Jerry Stiller.

15:35Jackie Oshry:Love him. There's really no bad answers. there is except Amber Von Tussle's mom like she's legitimately evil and like racist as hell like she's awful she is that's also the weird part about Hairspray is like it's such a swirly movie but there I feel like I've said this before I'm having deja vu but it's low-key like addressing like a very difficult time in our country there's like you know segregation and we're like singing

15:56Claudia Oshry:about it it's crazy no but I think that's like a great way to like you know learn the lesson is through music. I also feel like I relate to Seaweed's little sister, little Inez. Yeah. Is she in the original

16:08Jackie Oshry:or was she like a character they created when they redid the movie?

16:11Claudia Oshry:She's in the original because when they go to...

16:14Jackie Oshry:Oh, she wins the pageant.

16:16Claudia Oshry:Yeah. And when they go to Motormouth Maybell, like she's there. But in the second movie, they gave her her own song. They explored her a little bit more. Yeah, they developed that character. And I think it was a value add.

16:27Jackie Oshry:Everything. Okay. We're going down the airspace round at all. I just have to say. Everything they did in the modern adaptation of Hairspray that like, you know, sometimes they write new music like Wicked wrote original music and they changed the original storyline. Almost always. I think those are mistakes. Like the Wicked songs were terrible. But Without Love, which was a song they originally wrote for the new adaptation and like the little script changes, little line as his backstory. Run and tell that, I believe. Run and say the black of the berry, the sweet of the fruit. Like every decision they made in perfection.

16:59Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

16:59Claudia Oshry:Who made that movie? i feel like sean mcnamara for sure no i think it was um oh was it the guy who does all the all of them adam shankman you know him oh he go adam shankman is the paul mcnamara of movie musicals okay so adam shankman has done rock of ages yeah that's not what i'm talking about

17:20Jackie Oshry:hairspray what men want which i don't think that mel gibson movie is what you're talking about the pacifier a perfect movie oh a walk to remember cheaper by the dozen two bringing down the house Oh, he obviously loves Steve Martin. The Wedding Planner. Step Up.

17:32Claudia Oshry:Step Up.

17:33Jackie Oshry:All the step ups. The Last Song. 17 again. The Last Song. That's amazing. Hairspray. Wait, you guys. Hairspray 2? White Lipstick. What is Hairspray 2?

17:43Claudia Oshry:How have we not seen that? Oh my God. He did He's All That with Addison Rae. Oh. That's a perfect movie.

17:49Jackie Oshry:I don't know why she stopped making movies. Oh, it was a working title of a now canceled sequel to Hairspray. It was ordered by New Line Cinema and written by John Waters. John Waters. Dunwatersworth, the original Hairspray. It was set to star the original cast, minus Michelle Pfeiffer as Velma Von Tussle, so I guess she didn't commit to it. But it never, it was called Hairspray 2, colon, White Lipstick. What the hell does that mean?

18:13Claudia Oshry:The last song. I feel like you haven't fully ingested that.

18:16Jackie Oshry:No, no, I ingested it, threw it up, put it in a blender, gave birth to it.

18:19Claudia Oshry:Like, amazing. Like, just for that alone. Yeah. So add him to the list of people who can direct our right story. Yeah. It's a short, short list. Sean Mac yeah who is it just Sean McNamara and what's his name Adam Shankman for the time being yeah that should I start a list of great directors oh and Kenny Ortega oh of course so he's a choreographer no but he directs too because he did high school musical yeah he also did Dirty Dancing

18:45Jackie Oshry:which I feel like is his like greatest claim to fame which is crazy because like I don't care to

18:49Claudia Oshry:that's his flop era.

18:52Jackie Oshry:1000%. Best directors.

18:55Claudia Oshry:Adam Shankman.

18:57Jackie Oshry:Sean McNamara.

19:03Jackie Oshry:Oh, and then also like, no, it's not even the, the list is not best directors. It's like. The only directors we would trust with our story. No, no. Because it's like people who will be involved in our biopic. because also I'm trying to remember this guy's name. Hold on.

19:25Jackie Oshry:Who is it? Remember we were talking about that songwriter who's written all of the songs that we like?

19:32Claudia Oshry:Yes.

19:32Jackie Oshry:Was it like the guy who written One Direction? Or The Climb. I looked up he could be the one. I thought that's what we were talking about from Hannah Montana.

19:38Claudia Oshry:I feel like it was The Climb that put us on this rabbit hole. No, his name sounded so familiar. I think it was a woman. Only a woman could write the climb. I think it was like Jesse something.

19:50Jackie Oshry:It wasn't the climb. I think we looked up like who wrote most of.

19:52Claudia Oshry:Jesse Alexander. No. And that's a woman.

19:55Jackie Oshry:No, it wasn't. It wasn't that person. Do you know that Ed Sheeran wrote 18 by One Direction?

20:00Claudia Oshry:I feel like I do. That's something like they're always trying to shove down my throat. Like fun facts. Yeah. Like we don't care. All right. What I'm looking for. Like when you're on an airplane and they have like pop culture facts. Right. Right. Okay. Let's get into the stories. We haven't even started the show. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Rabbit hole. 25:55Claudia Oshry:Our first story, major news. Ex-Prince Andrew arrested on his 66th birthday following Epstein Files revelations. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been arrested over his ties to... Sick that he has that name. I know. Over his ties to convicted rapist and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The former prince was arrested Thursday, which also happened to be his birthday, on suspicion of misconduct in public office for allegedly forwarding confidential trade documents to Epstein. if convicted he could face a maximum sentence of life in prison it's crazy like what he actually

26:28Jackie Oshry:got arrested for i'm not complaining obviously i think it's great but what he got arrested for is like not like the crimes on the island it was like because he happened to have like a special title which was like a business envoy and forwarding the email is like mail fraud or whatever so they got him on like a technicality i'm not upset it's like al capone they got him on taxes right it's like theresa judice you know no i'm kidding um so it's like really crazy that from the Epstein files like there still have like no arrests been made for like the actual crime right

26:55Claudia Oshry:up until now no actually no he's not arrested for human traffic for participating in like

27:01Jackie Oshry:prostitution child endangerment like no child across state lines like none of it having said that like a win is a win I'll take it would love to see him locked up so glad little Yvette is not alive to see this yes because you know like low-key her fatal flaw was that he was her favorite but like so her greatest crime is loving her child like I can't fault her yeah no it's very conflicting

27:20Claudia Oshry:I'm glad she's not around to see this too. One thousand percent. You just know Harry and Meghan are like having the time in their lives with this piece of

27:25Jackie Oshry:information. For sure. And I just know they hated him.

27:29Claudia Oshry:I think probably like everyone hates him. I don't know. He was like loved until he wasn't. I guess the way they portrayed him in The Crown, which is for me like, you know. He was barely in it by the way. As close to what history was. Was that like he was very like affable. Like the funniest, most fun guy in the room. Yeah. Like party hard. I believe it. Yeah. and I think party too hard.

27:51Jackie Oshry:I do feel bad for his daughters because they seem like nice girls but I'm sorry justice must be served and I love this. I would love to see him in a jumpsuit. Like yeah. And King Charles has I forgot that there's a king.

28:03Claudia Oshry:Issued a statement and this is his brother. Oh my God. Yeah that's his brother. Yeah so his brother's being arrested. He's you know head of State. State. So this is what he said. He put out a statement. I think it strikes the right note. He said I've learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office what now follows is the full fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities in this as i have said before they have our full and wholehearted support and cooperation let me state clearly the law must

28:31Jackie Oshry:take its course not the law like andrew god like they do not give a fuck they're not dying on this hill oh sometimes the royal family like goes to bat for their people and i just don't feel like charles and camilla are like going to bat for this predator like they gave up on like trying to help

28:48Claudia Oshry:him many many years ago even Queen Elizabeth did she had to like sort of boot him out yeah he like got moved from house to house yeah and he like walks at the very end I don't even think he walks anymore yeah and he he wound up still in a big house but it was like he lost his home it was I

29:03Jackie Oshry:think it was a home that they had to like pay for privately not like a publicly funded yeah he said

29:08Claudia Oshry:as this process continues it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter meanwhile my family and I will continue in our dirty duty and service to you all so he said I'm still the King don't bother me with this mess.

29:18Jackie Oshry:Oh yeah like I waited so long for this title I'm not getting bogged down brother brother you're out brother yeah lock him up yeah um I am curious if he'll go to jail um and it's crazy that like you know forwarding an email will get you life in prison again I'm not complaining um just like happy birthday you know yeah maybe more will come out

29:38Claudia Oshry:like with a trial maybe but yes six unmarked police cars surrounded his residence in Sandringham. I wonder if you know.

29:45Jackie Oshry:Are there pictures of him like walking out in cuffs?

29:48Claudia Oshry:There are pictures of like the operation. Nothing like it's hard to see. But actually there's like pictures of the cars.

29:57Jackie Oshry:Yeah. I wonder if the media stands outside of his home all the time or if they knew he was getting arrested.

30:03Claudia Oshry:Yeah. I feel like based on TV shows, like they know that something big is happening, you know. And also if they got a tip, something big is happening in the royal family. Like yesterday or the day before. they would know is Epstein related and like Andrew because that's what everybody's there's not a lot going on in the family now right everyone else is laying low they have a lot going on I mean

30:20Jackie Oshry:he's really gotten away with so much and we've known he got like booted out like years ago so he's sort of been probably like living in fear of something like this happening for like five years

30:30Claudia Oshry:now yeah yeah maybe it's maybe it's a relief for him yeah path to healing even though I agree it's like not even for what you like i literally don't care that he sent an email but is there like hard evidence yeah it's like in the files of sex crimes in the email you know when everything is hot dog pizza right no you can't explain you could say i really circumstantial yeah it doesn't hold no

30:56Jackie Oshry:yeah so even the ones that like didn't use the code names it's all circumstantial yeah and it

31:01Claudia Oshry:would be hard to like really nail someone for that plus like photos and videos but yeah that might be tough to do.

31:09Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

31:10Claudia Oshry:So that's why the internet's just taking it upon themselves. I'm looking forward to the wheels of justice doing their thing. Yeah. Really crazy news. I don't know why. I thought he was like done. Done. I thought like publicly just like disgraced. Yeah. I didn't know there were further consequences waiting for him.

31:27Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

31:28Claudia Oshry:Love that. You'd love to see it. Are you ready for our next story? Mm hmm. Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season four trailer dropped. You didn't see? No. Oh, yeah. Season four trailer drop. They're talking about. Come ye saints and come ye sinners. Hallelujah. They're talking about The Bachelorette. Dancing with the Stars. Oh, oh, oh. And Harry Jowsey makes an appearance. Of course he does. So it's going to be the best season ever.

31:54Jackie Oshry:He makes an appearance like in what capacity?

31:56Claudia Oshry:So it kind of the way that they framed it in the trailer, which all trailers are lies, is like he's Taylor's date for an event. Oh, that's cute. Ship? No. So toxic. Beyond toxic. Beyond. But maybe if like the two most toxic, chaotic people in the world got together, maybe they would neutralize each other.

32:14Jackie Oshry:Like that's never happened. And when it does, like they temporarily neutralize one another. Like it's not a permanent solution. Maybe they could like out toxic each other to the point of exhaustion. Maybe they just get so tired they fall asleep together.

32:26Claudia Oshry:But anyways, always happy to see Harry J around. I know.

32:30Jackie Oshry:If Harry Jassy has zero fans, like check on me because Jackie's passed away. Yeah. And she'll miss her sister. Desperately. like um so yeah we're getting dancing with the stars they turn these around quick yeah it does

32:42Claudia Oshry:now feel like a little bit behind because now I'm like what about Chicago and I'm really curious

32:46Jackie Oshry:like what Whitney's future is on this show because she's kind of like a media darling in New York just so they did a huge piece on her in the cut um and how like New York is like so her and she's leaving Utah behind like a lot of sort of messaging I think it would be a huge mistake I think so too

33:02Claudia Oshry:I feel like she's getting like all these accolades and stuff from like corners of the world where she never would have if she just stayed on Mormon Wives. But I don't know. And she continues to do more than I think is possible. And I fully support her. So it's not like I'm doubting her. But it's like I would say what comes after Chicago on Broadway? Really? Like you kind of have to go home. Right?

33:22Jackie Oshry:I don't know.

33:23Claudia Oshry:But I could see her proving me wrong. And then she's like booking another, you know, playing Amber Von Tussle. She's so Amber. she's playing fanny bryce she ain't she ain't playing fanny bryce but do you know what i mean like i don't even want to put limitations on her because i think she just continues to like break out of every box but if it were me i would be like okay it's great to like be able to do all that but like go back to the home base do secret lives and then like dabble in this other world

33:54Jackie Oshry:but maybe secret lives like up until this point has been the engine that has fueled her getting on Dancing with the Stars, booking that role. So I know I worry about like, where is she without the engine? But she's kind of defied the odds. Sorry, defied the odds. Of boring. Yeah. Thus far.

34:09Claudia Oshry:Yes. But Chicago and Dancing with the Stars are both like guest things. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like, it will be very interesting to see what she does next and how she parlays both of those things into like, you know, the next phase of her career. Yeah. Because being Roxy in Chicago is like just a stepping stone.

34:27Jackie Oshry:Right.

34:27Claudia Oshry:like erica jane has done it ariana it's not a landing no it's a short thing even though she announced something yesterday i was watching with my volume off what did she say let's see i i from my volume being off i was getting the feeling that it was like she's extending her run oh that would be good that's like the tickets but i'm making i'm completely making that up no okay i'm hearing that that's not true no don't trust me what i watched on mute yeah yeah yeah no subtitles She feels nothing.

34:59Jackie Oshry:She is on the cover of Brides as of 23 minutes ago. Her and Connor. But she's married already. I guess like you could be married. It's the love issue. Celebrating stories that feel timeless and of this moment. That's a good choice for Brides.

35:12Claudia Oshry:I don't know about timeless, but definitely of this moment.

35:15Jackie Oshry:And then she did a CeraVe ad and then she had the thing in the cut. Oh, here, her in Chicago. Secrets out. Hold on. Let me see it. Let me. Oh, yeah, this. What did she say? It turns out New York wants a little bit more than just a Costco sample. I'm not going anywhere, baby. Right. Officially extending as Roxy Hart in Chicago. I think it's been, I think they have a lot of people come to play the role of Roxy Hart. Like I said, Erika Jayne, our animatics. And I don't think there's really, I've never seen people like all over my social media being like, can I get a ticket? Oh, they're so expensive.

35:55Jackie Oshry:I've seen clips of her like going really viral. So I do think this is, she's probably the most successful Roxy Hart. You think? That they've plucked from like reality TV influencing. Who else has played Roxy? Lisa Ranna. It's like a, it's like a thing that you do. Yeah. Women who have played Roxy Hart on Broadway. You should play Roxy. I want to say going on Broadway, like literally looks like the worst job ever. Like I would never want to do it. I understand. Brooke Shields. Okay, no. But like it's in New York. Yeah.

36:25Claudia Oshry:It's in New York.

36:26Jackie Oshry:Yeah. You don't want to do it. Alyssa Milano.

36:28Claudia Oshry:Rumor Willis. It seems like a lot of dancing with the stars winners. Mira Sorvino. Go play Roxy. And Ashley Graham.

36:37Jackie Oshry:Debuted as Roxy in 2025. Hmm. So. Yeah.

36:46Claudia Oshry:Roxy. I've never seen Chicago. Me neither. The name on everybody's lips. Roxy. And all that jazz. Yes. So you don't want to play Roxy if they can.

36:55Jackie Oshry:No. Do not come to me. Please don't ask her to make that decision. No, no. I will say no. Broadway is back-breaking. Eight shows a week. I'm good. And you make like$3. You don't even get your own dressing room. I am good. I do not want it. My dream job, as you know, is to be a judge on The Voice. That you can come to me with. Oh. That's big. Yeah. Because they need a Simon Cowell over there.

37:17Claudia Oshry:Would you do it? You want to be loved.

37:19Jackie Oshry:No. And the whole thing about The Voice is that if you make it in front of the judges, it's because you're decent.

37:23Claudia Oshry:Right, there's no like your trash. Yeah. But say you were on a show where like you needed to be the Simon, would you really do it even if it made you like the villain? Yes, because I think

37:33Jackie Oshry:like Simon was mean. I don't think it's mean to say like you need work, your pitch, like you were off key. But I love your dress.

37:40Claudia Oshry:But Simon was interesting because like he did say it in a very honest way.

37:44Jackie Oshry:Yeah, you can be honest but he was also mean. Was he? Like you don't have the look. Like okay, did you just call me fat? It's a singing joke. Yeah, like he's crazy like that because he was looking at it like from a full you know artist yeah yeah no i would just be like vocally i don't think this is for you and i would hate for you to continue wasting your time like on this dream that i don't think is i'm sorry that's paula oh my god paula was so not that it's giving paula like

38:06Claudia Oshry:like just the sweet honest but like no but she was like she would always say like come back next

38:11Jackie Oshry:year i would say like don't come back like go become a cpa like this is not for you okay

38:17Claudia Oshry:So a blend of like Paula and Simon.

38:19Jackie Oshry:Yeah. Okay.

38:21Claudia Oshry:Are you ready for our next story? Our third story? Yeah.

38:24Jackie Oshry:What was the first? Oh, so yeah. Secret Lives. Sorry. There's a lot going on. The show is so good. It's one of my favorite shows. I can't wait to watch. It comes back. It's crazy that we've gotten like three seasons of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives since the season premiere of Love Thy Nader. Like where's Love Thy Nader season two? March 12th. It comes back. Right. That's so soon.

38:42Claudia Oshry:Well, we started watching Love. I guess it was like October that we were watching it. September, October. Bring it back. Summer joggers.

38:50Jackie Oshry:Just bring it back.

38:51Claudia Oshry:Yeah, it feels like any day now. Just bring it back. And they also teased the second half of the show. Yes, it was already filmed. It was already done when they premiered the first half. Like, did the show not do well? Is it getting canceled? I thought it was a huge, you know, it went platinum in my house. But even if it's getting canceled, you already filmed it. Like, just put it up. It costs you nothing.

39:07Jackie Oshry:Put it on YouTube or something.

39:08Claudia Oshry:No, but just put it up like you already paid for it. Yeah, agreed. Our next story, clearing up some drama between Leighton Meester and Ariana Grande. day Leighton Meester is defending her awkward exchange with Ari at the Critics Choice Awards and explaining what she thought was going on so we discussed this red carpet exchange between the two of them people said like Leighton was being condescending because Ari was like oh my god I love you wow wow wow and then Leighton turns to her publicist like wow wow wow and it felt like she was like mocking her but I believe that our take was like I'm gonna trust that Leighton like wasn't being a bitch and that there was like something lost in translation here yeah I'm pretty sure that was the take turns out yes no we didn't think no and we gave grace because I was like I don't know I'm not gonna just assume that she's ill-intended correct we were right how right we were happens so we're kind of used to it at this point you know like Lane went on pod crushed which is also like it's the big story Dan Humphrey's podcast which um is crazy that Blair would like

40:01Jackie Oshry:throw him a bone like that I don't know I feel like at the end she was like so like yeah like she loved Dan she did love Dan kind of a fatal flaw in the end of the show yeah they would never no she would never that they dated yeah and like it was like a real and it was kind of like right person wrong time you know it was like this big great love it wasn't just like a hookup so she

40:19Claudia Oshry:was asked about the situation and she cleared up what she thought was happening so she said where's this like jump in the article she said she was with her publicist when Ari said something to her she didn't uh she heard her and then she turned to her publicist Kate and we both heard that hi I love you wow wow wow not wow wow wow wow like crying she said I couldn't hear her she was like walking away and I was like oh she's kind of a comedy queen she's just being funny like I love you wow wow wow like I thought that would be something she would do and so I was like

40:51Jackie Oshry:oh my god that's cute and funny so I just want to say like I'm more confused than ever I don't feel like this clears up anything like I still don't believe it was a malintended thing but I don't really understand what she's saying here. So I actually do. First of all, this happened in a split second.

41:09Claudia Oshry:Yeah, no, and we're studying it. I say weird things all the time and I move on with my life. So when someone says something to me and I'm doing an exchange of cordiality, if you said, well, not you, because I would just like, we would see this. You'd like punch me in the face. No, no, we just like, we can understand each other. Yeah, we have like a subliminal link. If someone else said something to me and I was in passing, I might repeat exactly what they said. You know what I mean? so when she thought it was like wow wow wow it's like wow wow yeah yeah it's just like how you communicate so she thought she didn't even think because there's not a moment to think here

41:43Jackie Oshry:she heard wow wow wow she goes wow wow wow i know and sometimes like i really want to be famous and then like i see the level of discourse about like the most nothing moment like if that was me i i don't even know what i say half the time what i do have the time who i'm talking to like i'm just trying to get home you know i'm always just trying to like get home especially when you're

42:01Claudia Oshry:like in a sea of people like saying hi and bye it's probably very stressful like you're just like repeating what the person said to you and that this person's so famous like i have to like now

42:11Jackie Oshry:you're studying everything i'm saying and like probably like a like a very pivotal moment for

42:15Claudia Oshry:me it's like you look amazing you look amazing like it's just an echo chamber the next time i

42:20Jackie Oshry:like complain about not being famous enough will you just like slap me in the face like remind me

42:22Claudia Oshry:of this i yeah i but i do feel like you wouldn't complain about that anymore like i feel like you've

42:27Jackie Oshry:I'm actually really good with where I'm at. Yeah. Yeah.

42:29Claudia Oshry:The Masked Singer like really healed you.

42:31Jackie Oshry:Cured me of ever wanting to be on TV.

42:32Claudia Oshry:It healed your inner Claudia.

42:34Jackie Oshry:Yeah.

42:34Claudia Oshry:Little Claude.

42:35Jackie Oshry:Little turd.

42:38Claudia Oshry:So also say turns out she didn't say that. But I still want to be a judge on the voice. Layton added that she saw her like the next week and attempted to explain the embarrassing mistake. And she's like, you thought I said, wow, wow, wow. That's so funny. Well, what did she say? And wow, wow, wow. Because it's Blair. So she was. And then Blayton was like, no, it's an old person not being able to hear. Like that is so embarrassing. So I think she's handled this very well. Yeah. I didn't. She took the like, she like made it about her being old. So like, what are, what can you say? Did they talk at like that gossip girl?

43:07Claudia Oshry:Like not in a meaningful way. But I didn't see it anywhere. This is the headline. Right. So, well, you know, Leighton. I know.

43:14Jackie Oshry:I have to pry it from her cold dead hands. I know. Like I kind of prefer to just like vibe with Blair, you know, like not Leighton.

43:22Claudia Oshry:I prefer to have separate relationships with each of them. So I have my relationship with Blayton. We're very close. Yeah. And then I have my relationship with Leighton. And, you know, wah, wah, wah.

43:32Jackie Oshry:And then you have your cousins.

43:33Claudia Oshry:And then you have your first cousins. Yeah. And I think that's how Leighton likes it. And that's how Leighton sees it. I love that.

43:39Jackie Oshry:Are you ready for our fourth story? If it's our fourth story, that's brought to you by Booking.com. Booking.com. Yeah, yeah. Booking.com offers an extremely wide array of hotels, vacation rentals across the U.S. So you can find exactly what you're booking for. There's something for everyone, even those who are impossible to please. So whether you're booking for yourself, your partner, your family, picky teens, or a very, you know, sleep light, rise early mom, or your very high maintenance group chat, you can find exactly what you're looking for. I feel like as I get older, like my specifications for what I need in a trip are getting so much more specific.

44:11Jackie Oshry:And actually, you know, Ruta doesn't have a passport. So we're always looking for like good US trips, like things in the States. I'm also just like not in the mood to leave the country. And booking.com has so many options. We're very much like a house rental family now because we need a kitchen, you know. when I was breastfeeding, like I needed a fridge for the milk. So you just like need more stuff. Like a place for a high chair. So if you can find exactly what you're looking for on Booking.com, Booking.com, yeah, you can book today on their website, which, can you remember, what's the Booking.com website?

44:39Jackie Oshry:Oh, I love that because it's Booking.com. Oh, right. Thank you for reminding me. They also have an app, Booking.com. So it's Booking.com, Booking.com. Yeah. Today's episode is also brought to you by Rocket Money. They offer, first of all, everything you can need. If you're a cardboard cadet, listen up. But they also help you cancel them, which is so great. And then that's kind of a gateway drug to the rest of the app because they have a ton of premium features that help you monitor your spending, lower your bills, grow your savings. They track the subscriptions and then they also have the ability to cancel the subscriptions within the app with just a few taps.

45:34Jackie Oshry:So it saves you time, money, and avoiding those monthly charges. 46:32Jackie Oshry:As you know, pets are some of the most important things in our lives and what you feed them is super important. So there's two different types of dog parents. You know, the normal ones, Like I would say that is Jackie and I, you know, we care a lot about our dogs, but, you know, we're just normal about it. Or there's the, you know, Magnolia mom, right? You know, very obsessive soul dogs, if you will. Whatever dog parent you are, no matter your level of obsession, Ollie gets that the best way to treat your dog is through food. But not just any food. We're talking fresh human grade meals for your pup crafted with vet nutritionists and made with the highest quality ingredients.

47:10Jackie Oshry:At Ollie, their team of dog-obsessed experts use science and data to deliver the best possible experience for you and your dog. It is a food revolution. So they have redefined dog food. It's human-grade recipes backed by vet nutritionists and crafted with culinary experts. Dogs love the taste. Even the pickiest eaters will show more excitement during mealtime. I've actually never had a picky dog until Romeo. Like, for the most part, any dog I've had, like, will eat anything. Romeo, when he first came home, was, like, leaving bowls of food for days at a time. It was actually really scary, so we did have to switch to human food.

47:38Jackie Oshry:And Ollie's a great option. It's a tailored end-to-end experience. Tailored meal plans meet your dog's specific needs. Perfectly portioned meals come in mess-free packaging. And it comes with a scoop for easy serving and storage for zero refrigerator stank. Feed the obsession. Head to ollie.com slash toast. Tell them all about your dog. 48:07Jackie Oshry:ollie.com slash toast. Today's episode is also brought to you by Roback. Toasters, if you're having, you know, one of these Arctic-like winters, if you're having to brave those temperatures every day, know that you are not alone. Feeling, having to get dressed in the tundra that is the Northeast or anywhere really cold, it really can turn on, turn into a layering battle. You want to be warm. You still want to look put together and that is not always easy. And that's where Roback and their jogger sets come in. They just launched new colors this weekend, ivory, bright green, and navy. And it is the perfect layer over your workout set or whatever you're wearing.

48:43Jackie Oshry:But you got a layer. And sometimes layering, it's like you just have to forsake fashion. You have to forsake looking good. And it's just not as fun. But as soon as you get yours in the mail, you're going to understand the vibe. Put them on, run errands, grab coffee. I've been reaching for them constantly ever since I got mine. The joggers are very soft and comfortable. They do not feel baggy. And the hoodie is a great second layer. And sometimes when you put on like a hoodie jogger set, you do look like a little unkempt. The ones from Robac are super tailored. So next time you're suiting up to head out into the tundra, do not forget your Robac layers.

49:12Jackie Oshry:It's a winter wardrobe essential. So be brave out there and use our code toast at Robac.com for generous 20 % off your first order through the end of this week. That's Robac, R-H-O-B-A-C-K.com for a generous 20 % off your order when you use code toast through the end of this week. That code is T-O-A-S-T. Thank you, T-U-R-T.

49:29Claudia Oshry:You're welcome. them. Our next story, Amanda Seyfried says that she didn't know she was a producer on The House Made until three weeks into filming and says that it's a vanity credit because she didn't do shit to make the movie. She only acted. So Amanda Seyfried was on the Graham Norton show and was being asked about the movie being a boost to her career, not only as an actor, but also as an executive producer. She later admitted that the title is a pure vanity credit. She said, I'm a producer on it and I didn't know until three weeks in. I saw the call sheet and I was like, executive producer I didn't sign up for that I called one of the producers and was like you guys have me on as an executive producer and he was like that's what your agent negotiated and I was like well this really better be a hit then it was one of those vanity credits because I didn't do shit to make that movie I only acted in it that's the thing about vanity credits I don't want people to get it twisted what Margot Robbie does is really intensely develop movies from jump I just jumped in had a bunch of fun and left and now I'm like they're sending me on a vacation

50:26Jackie Oshry:every time i hear amanda seyfried speak like i just like i don't know what i mean i just kind of roll my eyes you know i feel like first of all this is like a really poor reflection on her like how little do you know about your business you don't even know you're an executive producer of a huge movie and yes i feel like her saying this like makes other i'm like if you're not as media literate like you would think oh like sydney Sweeney is also you know just like doing when there are actually a lot of women who take on like very creative roles outside of acting on the movies that they star in and it's not a vanity credit like Sidney Sweeney is one of those girls who I feel like she has a lot to do with the projects she signs on to beyond just acting she like funds a lot of the movies she's like as a production company she's like I think taking um Margot Robbie as a you know like a role model of hers and then yes Margot Robbie so I'm glad that she made that distinction but it's like okay

51:18Claudia Oshry:Yeah. It does sort of minimize like people who are in movies that have executive producer credits.

51:25Jackie Oshry:Not a lot of people know about like the whole vanity credit thing where it's like almost all the time when I'm watching something and there's like a big star in it. When the credits roll, it's like executive producer. And it's like, well, I know you didn't produce. But not a lot of people know that that's like a fake title. So, yeah, kudos to her for being transparent here.

51:40Claudia Oshry:Yeah, I think people would appreciate the transparency. And the point of a vanity credit and like having your name as a producer is you make more money, right? If the movie succeeds, then you get like a... And that's a good thing for her agent to negotiate. It sounds like she's a stellar team. Yeah, it is crazy that she wouldn't know that and that she would also share that. And I guess that's what makes her authentic and relatable for those who love her. For the Ming... What's her name? For the Mingys. Mingy. For the Mingy stans. Yeah. Okay. Cool. I've heard Housemaids was really good, though.

52:09Jackie Oshry:There's so many things I need to say. I need to see Housemaids. I need to see Wuthering Heights. I heard it was amazing.

52:14Claudia Oshry:Wuthering? Yeah, what if it was called? Marty Supreme is on demand now. Is it? Okay, I'll watch it. I'm actually going to start a lot. You're going to start a content plate? Because I've been meaning, and I just see a lot of movies. Housemaid is on demand. Let's have a movie night. Okay. Oh, my, I have a really good idea for a movie night.

52:29Jackie Oshry:Housemaid, Marty Supreme, Wuthering Heights. Okay, what's your idea?

52:35Claudia Oshry:Oh, well, like for us to have a swirly movie night. I'll tell you about it later. Okay, I'm scared. It's going to be amazing. Great. Like pajama party. Great. I love that. Are you ready for our fifth and final story? Some more actors being weird news. Oh my God, what now? No, it's weird. Okay. Sophie Turner and Kit... I haven't heard that name in forever. And Kit Harrington are starring in a movie together where they play lovers. And they said they gagged after kissing each other on screen while making their new horror movie. Because they once played siblings. Because they once played siblings.

53:04Claudia Oshry:And I guess they became to feel like siblings while playing siblings on Game of Thrones. So the two actors who grew close playing siblings, Sansa and Jon Stark on Game of Thrones, evidently struggled while sharing an on-screen smooch in their new movie The Dreadful. Oh, I love the title.

53:18Jackie Oshry:The Dreadful.

53:19Claudia Oshry:In a video shared by Entertainment Tonight, they can be seen kissing in character poor, playfully retching after the director calls cut. The crew then can be heard laughing as the two actors are pretending to be sick. So in Vogue last year, Sophie had jokingly said that she's like apologized to Game of Thrones fans by saying it's really weird for all of us that her and Kit are playing lovers in a new horror film. she also said she um recalled like looking at the script for the movie before shooting she saw nothing but kiss kiss sex kiss sex I'm like oh shoot that's my brother well I do appreciate

53:53Jackie Oshry:anytime actors talk about like the weirdness of having like not being like it's normal what are you guys talking about like no it's not so I do appreciate that here I do also think like that's kind of the curse of being in such a popular show I can't we talk about this all the time it's almost like a career ending show aside from Sophie Turner who after that like did go on to do other things a lot of them like were sort of crippled by the bigness of that show and you're just like stuck as Sansa stuck as John um and like yeah this is yucky and I think it's a big mistake on

54:24Claudia Oshry:the casting director's part but what's also weird is she put him up for this role she said she like thought he would be really good for it whatever happened to the guy who played Robb Stark he's in like the bodyguard yeah one show like a million years ago he's always nominated for shit no like he was when his show comes out you know shows come out the show hasn't been on in like many years he did okay for himself he did fine and he was in cinderella he had a couple of good

54:51Jackie Oshry:years but i don't know emilia clark where in the world is daenerys targaryen well she did a couple

54:58Claudia Oshry:like rom-coms but she also has had some health issues has she yeah jason momoa like was barely

55:04Jackie Oshry:on the show which is why i think he evaded the curse oh nicolaj was in the other woman

55:09Claudia Oshry:he went on to do amazing things peter dinklage always was famous before always slays was famous before yeah but i think also the sort of things that these actors might be in now like you know we don't watch mount batten oh oh also yeah that the person who played prince philip

55:30Jackie Oshry:no the person who played

55:36Jackie Oshry:what the fuck is his name

55:39Claudia Oshry:oh Charles um Charles the person who played played Tywin Lannister Cersei's dad yeah Tywin Lannister played yeah uncle Mountbatten thank you but also the person who played Prince Philip young Philip is David. The person who killed old Philip. Yeah. Is the guy of the seven scepters. You know, that like crazy priest.

56:02Jackie Oshry:But of course, the seven scepters. Shame, right?

56:07Claudia Oshry:Yeah, yeah. Of course. Who could forget? Yeah, so I think if you watch more like British. British time piece, like yeah. You will see your people. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's true. They don't like make swirly romances. No, they don't make swirly romances. So anyways, yeah, this is like weird for the viewers, weird for the actors even though it's like you guys played brother and sister but they could have dated on just because they were playing siblings like doesn't mean they couldn't have

56:30Jackie Oshry:fallen in love and did kid harrenting uh marry that wildling yes in real life ross ross leslie she was in downtown abbey she got out yeah she did um yeah like the british world like they all overlap over there yeah and you know who's a part of that world who joe alwyn barely please he's

56:52Claudia Oshry:flop that's why you don't see him around if joe owen is he's like i'm fucking dead he's tucked

56:56Jackie Oshry:into those movies i've never seen him in anything except the first couple of episodes of normal people which i did not enjoy and he was having sex and i said get out of here people conversations with friends which was the way worse version of normal people yeah joe owen is not in that crew

57:14Claudia Oshry:what's unfortunate is that this movie like doesn't sound good yeah because well i don't like horror movies i've never seen one but like if this was like and never seen i've never seen a horror movie or like a scary movie have i i think i saw the grinch you saw the grudge you and margo one time and like we were terrified for life i've never seen one and also i never saw the ring but i used to do the ring thing oh you love that and you also who am i the ring you also love here's Johnny. You've never seen The Shining? Nope. It's spooky as fuck. I've never seen it. That's crazy. And Red Rum you've seen?

57:50Claudia Oshry:That's The Shining. Okay.

57:51Jackie Oshry:Yeah, no, I've seen The Shining. You, like, need to watch it.

57:55Claudia Oshry:I don't think so. I've made it all this way in my life. Because I've recently been saying, actually, a lot. He has.

58:01Jackie Oshry:Because he goes cross-eyed.

58:03Claudia Oshry:Here's Johnny! Did you go cross-eyed? I didn't get to see. You did light. Light. Okay, you can stop now. Yeah, no, what I have to just always... No, just go back. Stop. I hate you. Just go back. Yeah, so I won't be seeing this, but if it was a swirly flick, I would love to watch it. Yeah, my two faves back at it again.

58:26Jackie Oshry:Like, make more swirly flicks. Yeah, and I guess when you come from the world of Game of Thrones, you watched Cersei and Jaime have sex, you watched Daenerys and Jon have sex, so incest is very much not a big deal. It's sort of the name of the game. I'm surprised Sansa and Jon never got it on. and they weren't even blood-related.

58:42Claudia Oshry:They were half. Actually, not even half. They were cousins. Right. Because he was the sisters. He was raised as a sibling. But he was the sisters. Baby. Baby. They're cousins. That's nothing. Literally the least big deal ever. You have your cousins. Then you're first cousins. And they were first cousins. That's nothing. Nothing. Especially not in Westeros. That's a match made in heaven. Right, in medieval times. That's literally an ideal marriage. Yeah. Did they? Who ended up with whom? In a romantic sense? Yeah. John, he went, killed no he went north of the wall and he killed oh no but who did he end up with romantically nobody and sansa she's queen of the north single very much like matriarch energy okay i love that she's a single woman respect however like who's gonna carry on she'll figure it out okay maybe she'll get a surrogate or something i don't know okay just i feel like they didn't think that through like all these years are still like a lot of time they always they emphasize so much there's always been a stock in the north and now we're gonna end the line now did she have a baby at any point in the show no she was like very busy

59:49Jackie Oshry:she was like ramsey bolton's like prisoner yeah joffrey she was like stuck little finger

59:55Claudia Oshry:she was stuck yeah no she had a hard time for sure i would have hoped she would have found love

59:59Jackie Oshry:that feels like a plot hole no it feels like we're just supposed to believe like she ends up with a happy ending it doesn't matter who like she'll figure it out okay now that there's peace in the

1:00:07Claudia Oshry:realm now that they're and she can focus on things like romance itself like a dalliance but she's been so burned by what she thought was love oh sansa spoiler alert yeah about that

1:00:22Jackie Oshry:well that's that yeah on that guys it's just been beautiful to spend this time with you

1:00:28Claudia Oshry:it's been a pleasure a true pleasure why don't you wrap us up today in my own fashion if you must thank you so much for listening to the toast we love you so much make sure to like subscribe follow wherever you can find us it's pretty self-explanatory the toast claudia sherry jackie sherry girl with no job etc and we will see you tomorrow because we love you bye we'll see you tomorrow because it's not friday it's no because tomorrow we're here love you bye
