1:29And you know what? I can't. I can't be in another state alone. That's a lot to wrap your head around. Of course it is. People also have asked me like, have you experienced any sort of like postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety? And up until this weekend, no. Anxiety? Like, oh my God. What? I don't I haven't really had like a lot of experience with it. It's horrible. Oh my God. What are you guys living through? My God, it's seriously crippling. Like not me breathing like one, two. 3:39That's great. Listen, if you want to cut out early, I'm okay. And like in the past, I've always felt like I want to like have a hard stop so I can say my peace and say my goodbyes. And then last time I did that and I still had like five more. I went five more days and I was like, oh, well, I could have just been podcasting. So like. And the days are like long and boring when you're doing nothing, just like waiting for a baby to come. So I will be Irish exiting this podcast. We're not going to have like an official. I love that. We're not going to have an official changing of ceremonies. And also, no, if I do stop podcasting, it doesn't mean necessarily that I gave birth, but I just like.
4:14Gave out. I gave up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I gave up. So. Well, the good news is that I have not only. I'll check and jive whatever you need. But I also have a Halloween plan. So if Jackie's still here, I have an amazing costume that also works just as good if Jackie's not here. Don't worry. In some ways, it works better if I'm here. but actually in other ways it works better if I'm not here. Yeah, yeah. No, guys, don't worry. And it came from one of our listeners who had the most amazing idea. As they always do. So I didn't even come up with it myself. A thousand percent. How was your weekend? I know you were like traveling and having anxiety.
4:50It was horrible. Was there any joy? I watched Chad Powers last night. And not only am I loving the show so much, I found out the craziest thing about the show. Okay. So there's a love interest. She's like the coach's daughter, of course. Sorry, the coach's daughter. and she looks so familiar to me. She looks like a mix of Taylor Donahue and Aaron Andrews. But you know what I found out? Why she might look familiar to me. Do you know who she's married to? No. Okay, but I want you to guess. I don't even know who she is. Somebody in sports that we've actually been talking about in an extremely derogatory way.
5:21Mark Sanchez. Yes. They're married. Yes. She's been like hiding out. It's his wife. She's on the show. And I was shook because she looks so young. I thought she was like 19. interesting isn't that's a good fact no yeah that is pretty good and have you and your husband started the show no we haven't yet I've been catching up yet by the way there's only four episodes out like we're now watching it episodically which is so annoying I've been catching up on like everything on my content plate that I always put there just to like you know it's a graveyard of shit that I like I don't know how to end a conversation um but I picked it up and I watched DCC season two finally because all summer we like planned to watch together but then we were all like grandmas at eight o 'clock going to bed and um what else did I watch something nobody wants this oh I did finish nobody wants this but you guys know when the new season comes out this week like I'm so relevant and on time I finished love is blind well like I'm caught up I'm caught up as well and then what I didn't realize that Molly Mae's new doc like is out now so that's probably what I'll do tonight but it's also I actually saw a clip I saw a clip that's making the rounds on tiktok from Molly Mae's new doc she's kind of like losing her shit about it was so relatable people were like she's being rude i'm like no she's being real they were they were getting her dressed for the big l 'oreal show and like she hated everything i'm like she's like her body her legs she was too covered up too sexy she was being so real she was like not being the nicest but like you know when you get in like a state like that like there's no talking to you no it's true and that's like when i say when it's like hard to be a model like a thousand percent i know it's a joke but i wouldn't want to do it i know it's a joke to say that like Like modeling is hard, but yeah.
7:03I wouldn't want to do it. And they're always asking us to do it. And we always have to say like, no, we don't want to model. Like the two times that we did it, I was like, I'm glad this is my job. And just know, like Kendall Jenner can't complain. Like the models can't complain. No. Like nobody wants to hear how hard it is to be a model. But just know, I know. Yeah, we've modeled twice. Wait, when you say twice, what are you talking about? I know the one. The one for Children's Place. Yeah, which was like, ended up so cute, but like the day itself was hard. And I just assume there's another one.
7:43But it's like, even when we do our photo shoots for like toast. Oh, for merch, please. It's in my backyard for 30 minutes. And that's so hard. But even that is horrible. That's what I'm saying. When we did our photo shoot for our new album cover. Okay, but that was actually fun. Everybody came. All your friends came. We had lunch. Like, remember? Lunch? Where'd we have lunch? we like brought food in we ate oh that's good when we do that do you remember when we ate yeah i actually don't remember the food that's really sad all your friends stopped by kellyanne was there carla yeah makeup that was fun yeah we were like cute and twirly but still it's a hard by the way yeah that one was fun because like that was a photo shoot we paid for so like we could leave whenever we wanted but yeah contract we're not really modeling we got to like call the looks too like if you don't like what you look like we were in charge of everything yeah and mind you it was like three hours most photo shoots like a whole day it's horrible it's horrible you guys so like stop asking us to be in your phone it's so annoying check on your local models so true um so yeah i caught up on love is blind i didn't really do much this weekend except just like pace back and forth yeah and come home she's coming home now let's talk about home home is where the rodeo is oh and Romeo came home that's how you know I needed like a full fucking factory reset that's how you know citrusy she's like I miss Romeo so when I got home yesterday Ben was already home because he was here for the wedding and I was like I think Romeo can come home and I swear to god I don't know what he thought I was going to say but it certainly wasn't that so Romeo came home last night shout out to Bruce and Ava for taking such good care he I'm in a place to receive him do you know what i mean i'm yearning for just my home and romeo is my family and you know what it was good you missed him that little bugger i didn't miss him but i missed like what he represented yeah now like now the the puzzle is complete yeah no we're a family there was like a tiny piece messing tiny loud barking piece yeah and you know what it takes you need to leave your home to appreciate your home you know ain't that the truth even though i feel i always appreciate my home but more so like my hometown yeah you know you're always like a new york this new york that oh please you should see what the people in la are loving like horrible horrible well we're happy to have you back romeo it's so much better this way like i don't i don't have anxiety about like rushing the episodes out like they're gonna come out at a normal time and everybody can eat lunch and now you could say you tried like when people are like turdy like why don't you bring your talents to Hollywood?
10:18Yeah. I did. You tried. And Ben was like, fine. I mean, you were there for like two weeks. That's a long time. I was there for about like 12 days. That's a long time. No, actually like 12. Yeah, 12. And it wasn't what Ben would have decided. But he supported. Once I said, I'm like, I'm having anxiety. He was like, okay, we can go. He was like, you're having anxiety. I'm just not anxiety girl, you know? The town got, that's LA's effect. like made him a drug addict and you have mental health issues a ball of anxiety yeah yeah no not me struggling with my mental health like seriously it's hell i'm like seriously i feel like someone vials like it's horrible yeah for real now you know what everyone's talking about yeah yeah so i'm just ready to slay like i want to come here and like do my podcast and slay Slay all day per se?
11:13No, not all day. I'm tired. I have like a lot going on. Slay for the next hour and 50 per se? Yeah, or like slay the morning away. Just the morning. I agree. Just the morning. I've got lunch plans. I want to thank you for being supportive of me in this sort of transatlantic journey. And I promise I won't do it again. Okay, but you know, don't make promises. Like, you don't have to promise anything. Just see where the wind takes you, Toby. I like that, too. We've got a lot of stories. It's actually going to be like... Our first story, some like major international news that spans art, fashion, history. Oh my God. The Louvre was robbed. Jewels with an inestimable value, a word I never even heard before because it's never used, an inestimable value, stole from the Napoleon collection at the Louvre.
17:09So this weekend, several people disguised as construction workers broke into the world famous Louvre Museum in Paris on Sunday, cracking open display cases and stealing jewelry that once belonged to Emperor Napoleon and his wife, officials said. At least nine pieces of jewelry of inestimable heritage and historical value, including crowns, necklaces, earrings, and brooches, were taken in the brazen heist before the thieves made their getaway on motorcycles, two ministers said. Investigations have begun and a precise list of the stolen items is underway. They also stole a tiara that they dropped on their way out and broke.
17:44Yeah. So many thoughts. It's literally a movie. Yeah, it is. Obviously, I thought of them at Gala. What was that movie called? Ocean's 8? 11? No, I think it was 11. Yeah, whatever. Ocean's 14. And of course, you know, never to victim blame. I blame the heist men wholeheartedly. But the Louvre is supposed to be impenetrable. And if you're going to house great works of art, jewelry, the fucking Mona Lisa is there. and some construction workers like how dumb are you all you need is to buy like a construction vest on amazon and take like a forklift up to the second floor and break a window right so it's giving like two kids one on the kid's shoulder wearing a trench coat trying to get into the movies like how dumb are you yeah that it could be so easy it was done like in a matter of minutes it was like right before the museum opened no one was harmed it was like so quick they just like took everything and ran off and it was also it didn't seem like i mean what do i know but like they made a lot of like mistakes they tried to like set their little crane on fire on the way out maybe it has like a serial number whatever they were not able to do that they dropped the crown they dropped one of their like vests they left some evidence um macron has said that he will put the full weight of the french behind this ah not the full weight of the french like please to find these perpetrators and bring them to justice.
19:11Do you think that's, they're going to find them? They might find them, but I don't believe that they will find the jewels. Like I think, you know, they take them apart and sell them for parts. And I think like they're already on the black market. Do you know what I mean? It's been 24 hours. Interesting. That would be really crazy. Cause like, you can't really sell this stuff. Like, I guess, yeah, you could break it down and sell the necklace, like sell off some rubies. but no like real buyer is going to buy stolen. But there are people who don't care. Yeah, there are people who don't care. Not only that, like these things get flooded back into like the art market and people don't realize they're stolen.
19:49That happened with a lot of like Nazi artwork. Yeah, but no, but like, I mean, anyone who's like looking could, you know, realize that this is a significant. Of course, not like the black market being so busy this morning. All of a sudden. Well, all I know is that, I mean, I'm just terrified at what these, these people must be shaking in their boots not the full weight of the french country like you mean the same country that just like rolled over and took it for the nazis please i'm petrified yeah he's he's saying they're gonna get him sure okay get him like oh you didn't and you know if you don't get them immediately like you're not getting them do you know what i mean yeah but i mean one time the mona lisa was stolen for two years and they recovered her what yeah like a years ago a worker at the loo like stole the mona lisa it was like an inside job and they it was missing for two years how'd they find it i don't know they should make a movie about that like that actually sounds interesting but also it's not like you would like cut up the mona lisa for parts like i actually think it's harder to move so it just wound up sitting in someone's house it's actually such a good call like stealing it for what to look at it and low key it's like not even that nice it's tiny that's sweet but you work there already like right you can look at it without going to jail um but the jewels like I actually do think that you're right that they you sell them for they're a goner yeah oh I didn't even think about that like what's the point in stealing priceless artwork like you literally can't sell it imagine having the Mona Lisa hanging actually I guess if you were like a like a cartel or like somebody who like lives in a legal life yeah you would buy it like not to show it off but because like you have it yeah if you live in a legal life but there's like four people four potential sellers and you would have to find them without getting caught yeah or be the one to steal it yourself this is different this is like I'm not even one who like cares so much about like culture and history and like the preservation of art but like this is disgraceful yeah this is disgraceful like you have a responsibility you've been in charge with all of this historic significant you're the stewards and you did not you know what I don't know if I feel like I've told this story I went to a wedding once at the Met and I like took a picture and it's like do not touch and I had like my finger like I wasn't touching but I was like ah you know like a dumb picture on my Instagram with millions of followers like not somebody finding me at the wedding who like works for the Met and telling me to delete it like they were like being annoying and like had sticks up their butts but at least like nothing gets stolen from there yeah yeah until it does yeah um just really bad yeah bad for napoleon and his wife josephine well i'm sending my thoughts and prayers to josephine josephine must be feeling like so you know it's such a terrible feeling to have your privacy invaded um praying for josephine sending lots of love.
22:45Yeah. How do the kids do? Wait, I know we have this conversation. Obviously, millennials do these hard hands. What do the kids do? Oh, they do this. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, they do like that. No, they don't. Yes, they do. No, they don't. They don't do it like this. No. They take their index and middle finger. Yeah, they do this. It looks like gang signs when they do it. I don't know. Send love to Josephine. But you know what I realized? So this generation of like teens and stuff, they do it like this. But the next generation, like of our kids, are going to do it like this because we do it like this.
23:23Because we taught them. Because I'm always going like this. So then like they're going to go like this. So we're going to bring it back. Yeah, it's cute. It's beautiful to think about. Yeah. It's the circle. The circle of life.
23:40Are you ready for our next story? the girls are seemingly fighting again selena and hailey oh i have to i can't believe this wasn't story number one i have to talk about this well story number one is the international crime news like it just has to be you know this is bigger this is also an international crime selena and hailey seem to be beefing again no selena gomez is beefing with the mirror okay yeah so hailey bieber gave an interview to wall street journal and she was asked about being in Sephora um she was asked about potential comparisons between other brands and Haley said it's always annoying being pitted against other people I didn't ask for that when people want to see you in a certain way and they've made up a story about you in their minds it's not up to you to change that um she also had said something well I need to find the exact quote give me a second um yeah it's in our chat yeah we were talking about it yeah I'm gonna surface it one second She was then also asked, like the reporter was trying to start stuff.
24:46Haley did not give in. They didn't even mention Selena. But then in the article, when the reporter was transcribing the answer to these like sort of pushy questions, the reporter brought up Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty. That was never brought up in the interview. Yeah. So she said, I ask if Bieber feels competitive now that her products have to stand up against other Sephora brands. Quote, I think there's space for everybody, she says. she's most competitive with herself she adds i don't feel competitive with people that i'm not inspired by she said then the reporter said so nothing there had anything to do with like rare beauty yet then the reporter wrote is she nervous that sephora shoppers might compare road to rare beauty the brand from selena gomez that's also sold at sephora fans have suggested there's a rivalry between the two gomez used to date justin when they were younger before she can respond to publicists sitting nearby tells her to skip the question hailey says quote it's always annoying being pitted against other people.
25:38I didn't ask for that. When people want to see you a certain way and they've made up a story about you in their minds, it's not up to you to change that. Literally talking to you, reporter. Literally. So literally she did not bring up Selena. The other reporter did. And then when the reporter did, Haley did not mention Selena at all. Selena then took to her Instagram to like respond, even though Haley wasn't talking to her. And will you read what she wrote there as well? Yes, she wrote on her story. Just leave the girl alone. Oh my God, it reminds me of leave the mouse alone. Leave the mouse alone.
26:15Let the mouse go. I love that. Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants. Doesn't affect my life whatsoever. It's just about relevance. Lies. It's just about relevance, not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There's room for everyone and hopefully we can all stop. Not her calling Hailey Bieber stupid and then saying be kind. I'm sorry. If Selena Gomez has no haters, I have sadly passed away. Give my best to Romeo. I can't. Like, seriously. First of all, this is such an intentional, like, reporter being a shit starter. Yeah. That she can't see through that or doesn't want to.
26:50I'm sorry for it. As a woman who's been in the media for so many years. Like, sorry, who's the not intelligent one? First of all. Leave Haley Bieber the fuck alone. I seriously had to fuck enough of these people. Selena's so desperate to be a victim. I cannot take it. If Selena, like, I really need to calm down. I just really thought she had moved on from these sorts of antics. Like she just got, I just, I just assumed that like in the marriage and I saw these interviews between her and Betty and he just seems like a really great partner for her. Great guy. And that the two of them together like are stronger together that you don't have to like resort to these like victim antics.
27:24She's so desperate. But that's what happens when you assume. She never said I'm good now. I'll stop doing these things. This isn't just like harmless beef. Like we've talked about this at length, but like it could seriously be studied how horrible the internet has been to Hailey Bieber for an actual decade. And while it's never been Selena Gomez like outright doing it, it is her fans doing it on her behalf. And she's never discouraged them. Right. She always does it in like a cloaked veil way where it actually incites more hate towards Hailey Bieber. And this is just like another instance of her doing that.
27:57And like, I'm so fucking sick of it. Like seriously, Selena Gomez needs to be held accountable for her actions. I mean it. Yeah, but also this reporter with this stupid fucking question. There's a hundred brands in Sephora. And Hailey Bieber saying like, I'm not like, you know, competitive about people I don't feel inspired by. Like, I think it's very like just honest and straightforward to say that you wouldn't be inspired by every brand in Sephora. There are so many. And to be clear, she said that before the reporter brought up Selena. So she was not. Selena is saying what Selena is saying is take out the rare beauty of it.
28:28I'm inspired by everyone. I'm better than you because I'm inspired by every brand in Sephora. Well, that's not good. You should have standards. You shouldn't be inspired by everyone. Other people are stupid and ugly and make bad shit sometimes. Like, I'm not inspired by every podcast. I've listened to some of the worst, shittiest podcasts. Like, I'm inspired by the good ones. What a dumb thing to say. That's where she gets, like, very, like, high and mighty. Holier than thou. I'm inspired by all. Ugh, I'm so over this. Like it's, it's hella problematic behavior for real. Yeah. I just can't believe like people are like falling for it still.
29:05Like both Selena self and then also like the fans who like are now taking up their picture reports. I guess that means us too. Since like, yeah, no, by the way, I'm a Haley Bieber stand till I die. And sometimes like I'm always going to defend her and I can acknowledge my own bias, right? There's no bias here. I'm sorry. Like her responding to something that wasn't about her and like sending more hate Haley's way, like shame on her. what is she doing this from her fucking honeymoon get a life yeah she's really an unstable and i'm so mad she wants to come for hailey just like go like say what you mean you stole my boyfriend say what you mean like stop it i'm talking about everyone yeah be kind be you're not intelligent you're ugly you're fat you're stupid be kind like just that's what she said i will have so much more respect for her if she just let it rip owned it instead of like hiding behind all this like victim language picture at the lacma well that's our next story is lacmer jackie lol yeah hate well i don't know if it was lacmer but the academy museum gala 2025 red carpet took place this weekend so this is always the event where everyone who's anyone goes everyone brings their We don't know what it's for.
30:22It's for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles in support of the museum's education initiatives, public programming and future exhibitions. So it's like a charity gala that's extremely well attended because it has to do with movies and the arts. Motion pictures. Got it. Everybody shows up. They have a pargy red carpet. And everybody really always looks their best. Yeah. They bring. It's kind of like a smaller version of the Met Gala, crazily enough. But it's not costume. And also other award ceremonies, I feel like people either play it really safe because they don't want to overshadow their night with a bad dress or they're just trying to do something big like at the Grammys.
31:03This is one where it's like, we're just going to look beautiful because it's a beautiful event. It's like high society. Yeah. So attendees included Kim Kardashian, who made news by wearing a sheet over her face in Margiela. And it's so stupid because she wore a sheet over her face for the second time. But it's also stupid because she was like so close to slaying. And I feel like we've been really hard on her. Her fashion like low-key sucks for somebody who's like so obsessed with fashion. She like never slays. And the dress was sick. She just took the bag off her head. She would have looked amazing.
31:34I don't get it. Like, I don't. And I don't want to. Sorry. I don't want to be like. I'm not like woke in culture and I didn't get it. And I don't want this to be like my next favorite thing. And I go out with a bag on my head. yeah no i i'm woman enough to admit like i don't get it and and and that i don't want to participate and i didn't get it it's not a trend i'll be following i didn't get it when she did it on the met gala red carpet and and that was way uglier yeah yeah so um she made news with that jacob alorty was there he does always get out on this night um i feel like he has a different girlfriend there every day it's true kaya gerber speaking of kaya gerber was there best dressed best looking best new face best everything she somehow like looks more beautiful than ever like it looks like she had work done but like how do you tune up a picasso perfect i actually don't think she had worked on it's crazy to say i think she like lost a little bit of weight which is insane um and i feel like she slayed the house down boots on her glam like maybe she had a new makeup artist because she doesn't do like high high glam like contour smoky eye yeah she did like full beat and she looked sick yeah she looked sick it was something was different manish tana ha yeah winds in the east storm coming in like i can't figure it out but i love it it's just like more beauty i love it and i've been seeing a lot of footage of her her boyfriend they were like out and about somewhere recently her like no no name boyfriend i'm obsessed lessons in chemistry yeah right i'm obsessed currently unemployed yeah it's okay he's an epobaby and love he was really good in lessons in chemistry that'll tide him over for a while it was enough to carry him through um hailey bieber was there selena was there hailey bieber looked amazing she did kendall was there not my favorite outfit from her but she's just so pretty and tall like who cares yeah yeah i think she likes being looking like serious like yeah eyes up here yeah right like that ask me what i'm reading i'm like kind of a nerd a lot of people don't know about this like me my friends we're nerds and he's like weird sure sure we like to sit around and like paint um bunch of other peeps attended it looks like oh yeah she was and who's her man yeah you know lewis partridge but i don't know who that is thank you yeah he's from a show that we don't watch but like people love him okay cool i i want to say stranger things but i also want to not say to say or not to say that is lewis partridge so it was a big night always a fun night to see the pics from it's kind of an ideal red carpet like i just want pictures i don't want to telecast i don't want to like you know okay that's so funny that you brought that up because they did have the chicken shop girl there yeah and i thought that was like extremely like a lowbrow decision not that there's anything wrong with her but like to have like an internet show doing questions like no what's cool about this event is like we have no idea what it is like don't open the curtain and we don't know know what they're saying like don't speak yet actually smile yeah i saw one interview from chicken chop and i didn't i was like oh no who was that the vibe hailey bieber oh i that's what i saw that too i love to see hailey i mean i love her but like it wasn't about her it was just like this is not the format like we're not joking this is not a joke also just like shh you know shh hush hush little celeb just walk I've had enough of these celebrities talking like I've literally some of the most unintelligible people shh what if you just shh I love that and it's such an important thing in life to know when to shush yeah speak don't speak smile don't smile I agree we're in agreement good we're so agreeable are you ready for our next story is it sabrina on snl no it's not did you watch i did i saw the clips um i did see some clips because i follow her all of a sudden my whole algorithm because she was collabing with every sketch i wound up watching very generous with those collaborator posts i mean i think she just loves snl and SNL loves her she's the perfect person to do it they need her so bad yeah she really um like her Disney Channel upbringing really shines through because you have to act you have to sing and you just have to like do everything slapstick comedy which is what they do which is so Disney yeah and even the sketches that like weren't good they weren't bad like she's great like she can't nothing she does is bad her performances were super cute like the first one was man child which at this point like i'm kind of over the song but she did it fresh like i loved the whole concept she was in her undies like being like you know slumber party singing with her hairbrush so cute the second one i didn't fully understand the theme was karate yeah no but you know what when she in the song like there's a lot of like yeah right ain't no pain no bed so
36:58So cute. She's just, I just love her. Yeah, she's just adorable. So just to circle it back to something from two months ago, Lur did not come out to perform Life of a Showgirl with her, which I really thought that she would. Oh, and the next three weeks of SNL were announced. No Lur. Glenn Powell, Miles Teller, Nikki Glaser. Yeah. somber somber um and who was the other two I'll tell you two just class nothing like that like shook nothing major but it looked pretty good yeah yeah but not like nothing groundbreaking
37:39or none of our like you know who posted it how do I find I think like if you go to ABC SNL page like they probably posted in feed before Brina. Okay like that's where I went first and I truly can't find it. Brina Brina. I mean Kelly posted it because she's like so supportive. Brandi Carlisle. Oh and Olivia Dean with Glenn Powell. I ship. Well I'm gonna be watching. I'm gonna be watching. I ship. Yeah Miles Teller, Brandi Carlisle, Nikki Glaser and Somber. Glenn Powell, Olivia Dean. That's strong. I'm happy for Nikki Glaser. I feel like that's like a huge thing for her yeah really cool here we go again crying in bed um but i did see some of brina's monologue i mean does she it's like very it's a very obvious call but like she's so house bunny i love that when she was like you know a sexy yeah by the way she's so out of pharise she's so out of pharise i feel like when she does like that bit like i do feel like she's inspired by her in a totally healthy way.
38:42She definitely watches, like the House Bunny is definitely one of her favorite movies. Yeah, no, she's so out of Paris. I was like, I feel like I'm watching House Bunny. That's an amazing call. Oh, I thought it was so obvious I felt stupid saying it. No, and do you think that Sabrina's inspired by everyone, all movies? No. Me neither, and it's clear. Yeah, she's not the elk of such. She has standards when it comes to inspiration. Are you ready for our fourth story? If it's our fourth story that's brought to you by today's sponsor, the ASPCA Pet Health Insurance Program. It is. Oh, I wanted to update you on something. so in the journey for a good instagram bio i changed mine over the weekend i don't know if you saw did you see no it says tenured professor at gargi pargi university which i thought was like cute and fun i love that but i did and then i put like a little graduation cap did you come up with that i did oh my god at first at first i wrote student at gargi pargi university and somebody dm me love it but it should be professor so i was like oh duh but then i i thought it was funny to make it tenured professor but i did think of a good one this morning okay it's because i'm like this is one of like my i don't know if motto is the right word and i couldn't remember who told it to me i think it was tinks and i'm like tinks did you tell me this and she said yes i'm like is it okay if i make my instagram bio and like steal it like make my personality and she said yeah um because this is so me ready strong opinions loosely held like that's kind of the essence of who i am what you're doing on the platform if you don't know me and that's like the point of an Instagram bio so while tenured professor at GPU was like very funny and inside baseball what do you think I think it's strong better than GPU I mean you know me I'm always gonna yeah like you're the CEO of turning the globe I'm a tenured professor like it's funny it is really funny but I do think in terms of like capturing new audiences showing what you're about what you do on the platform like I think it's perfect and I will I'll leave it you will okay so let me just see how it looks you guys sign up in the comments which one do you like better than i promise like i'll leave you all alone you don't have to help me with this stupid thing anymore and like what are we capitalizing is it like strong opinions period loosely held period strong opinions comma loosely held period and then is there a period at the end if you want one no it's not like a whole sentence is that let me see like how it looks
45:36I'm not loving it but like I'll sit I'll sit with it for a little bit yeah okay I'm happy for you great update great update thanks our fourth story Kylie Jenner was supported by her famous family and friends as Kylie Cosmetics celebrated its 10-year anniversary with a King Kylie party a throwback to back in the day more notably Maddie Healy was in attendance oh yeah as were some other creators and celebrities but that was very interesting and I just I mean it's weird but Kylie's like in this circle now like this Charlie XCX 1975 circle she's like working in close with Charlie Charlie's husband is in the 1975 Kylie also was like partying with Gabriette at Coachella like they're friends it's not weird it's just like what the hell is Maddie Healy doing at this losery ass affair no it's not weird but it's just it's making me sad not even that I need her to be to Taylor I never would have she never would be I would never she's not but like I just don't like this team either yeah no this is like okay I feel like I've come on the show I've been like so negative today like clowning on the Louvre clowning on Selena like I'm clowning on the celebrities like telling them to be quiet and I'm sorry I'm just gonna like keep up with that theme today like I'm hating everything Kylie's doing this week like hate hate it she's so much better than this I feel like she was just at this like elevated level with her bouncy blowout and her like cool you know boob job going to basketball games with timothy chalamet yeah like they were going to new york basketball games like i don't know what the hell she's doing like having this party that's like filled with tiktokers like it's horrible it's so tacky and now she's doing arthur george like i get it it's a throwback but like i'm hating it i'm hating it i think maybe it's me maybe i think of i put kylie on a pedestal i think of her as like such a more elevated she's like even in her own family like she's always like you just didn't film the show like she's so high brow i'm like this is what she's coming down to earth for like i'm hating it i as someone i don't know if we're just so similar and we have this hold the same opinions we are i couldn't be a bigger fan of hers and i want to support everything that she does and the first time i hear anything she does like i'm gonna be like oh my god that's the best idea but as i've seen you know uh content matriculate from this matriculation has been triggering from this idea it's hurting me yeah and are we haters or because everyone's like laughing it up like yes Kylie Cosmetics like no Kylie Cosmetics what are you doing and I feel like these are people I'm a true Kylie fan like I'm actually today wearing a brand new Kylie Cosmetics skin tint it is the best skin tint nobody talks about it like I'm a consumer I buy stuff like I'm an actual fan these people who are like living for King Kylie they don't buy Kylie Cosmetics yeah the whole thing really is such a mess and the girls like guys sound off in the comments are we being haters or does this suck like universally and like this is like what we like she's always you know withholding from us she's so private and she doesn't need us anymore and like and we understand like go fly like with a billion dollars on kylie air and you come back to us for this like no no like nothing is giving to me like even her in the wig like no i like your bouncy blowout you look so sick these days like don't go back go forward don't go back go forward uh and speaking of king kylie era another throwback related is that Blac Chyna is hinting that her and Rob are have a future perhaps.
48:55Blac Chyna hinted at a possible future with her ex-fiance Rob Kardashian whom she referred to as her person. After sparking reconciliation rumors last week Chyna was asked about the status of her relationship with Rob at the LA Women's Expo on Saturday. She explained that she wants to expand her brood. She's the mother of two. She admitted that she'd rather have more kids with Rob than with Tiger in a video obtained by Tennessee. Oh, that's funny. So I just want to say when I heard this, like I'm kind of here for it exponentially. Like I think that they're both like really broken people who might actually really be right for each other except the lawsuit.
49:34I don't know how she really moves on with his family after that, even though like, you know, he got with her at the worst of times. Like I think that he doesn't really care. It's so complicated. And my initial reaction was like, yes, actually they share a kid together. They've both been on such journeys. They're both like completely different people than they were. I could actually be here for it. I think that like it would be great for a dream. But there is just like that small thing of that big ass lawsuit. So much. It was such a big like they get sued all the time. But they talked about it in the show.
50:11Like it was actually really big and really bad. and it ended up working out fine for them. Like they won, but it was really tough for them to go through. And I don't, I do think too much has happened with his family for them to really ever work, but I'm here for it. I agree. They are very forgiving bunch, especially Chris. I could see like Chris moving forward. I could see some of the girls, especially for the sake of Rob's happiness, not wanting to, but I think like two people can become the best versions of themselves. But like, that doesn't mean that they should then be together. I don't think like what they had in the beginning was like so strong.
50:45It was really like saving out of spite. And the last thing you would want is for that person to like remind you of how you used to be and maybe bring you back to that place. So, yeah, I don't see how this could work because it's not like it was a great love that they like, you know, just were too toxic to enjoy. Wrong place, wrong time, right person. Right. So I'm glad that they're both in a better place. And I wouldn't be against it. I'm just saying I don't think it's like, well, finally, Rob and Chyna get their happy ending. No, but it does kind of make sense because I've actually been seeing a lot of clips from Black China social media where she's like either on live or she's with Dream.
51:21And they're talking really positively about the time she spends with her dad's side of the family. And Chyna's like, no, no, you can say it. You can say it because they were like, who's your favorite grandma? And, you know, Tokyo Tony is like so nutty. And I don't think her and Chyna talk anymore ever since Chyna like found Christ. and I think Lovey who's Kris Kardashian is like an amazing grandma and I think that Dream spends more than half her time with the Kardashians maybe not now so much that like China's healed but she still has all her cousins like she's always you know at Chloe's house and I think I don't know where Rob lives and it's just like that's just her life now I think Rob lives in Kylie's old house right like the house that was on the show like that cute little black and white one not little but you know i mean yeah maybe last we heard and yeah arthur george for your king kylie merch and i think arthur george is now like owned entirely by chris jenner i don't know it's i just want to be putting one step in front of the other one foot in front of the other making steps towards the future yeah i don't want to go back i don't want to go back i'm not living in the past nope like i'm just not liking it but maybe i'm just being like a hater but i don't think that this is cool or good i don't i'm not inspired by this you're not and it's okay to say you're not inspired by it i am not inspired by this though i am by the way i like that's like gonna be my new thing like when i hate something but i don't want to be mean i'm gonna say like this isn't inspiring though i am so inspired by kylie in general yes but this particular project is not inspirational matriculation the uninspirational matriculation title yeah of kylie nation and hailey beaver well she's she's been inspiring i'm actually endlessly inspired by hailey beaver like yeah she's been inspired she didn't do anything uninspiring i think she's actually the definition of like of an inspiration like she's like extremely trendy she's a taste or that's like called being inspiring.
53:26Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Thank you for that vocab lesson. You're welcome. Matriculation. Are you ready for our fifth and final story? Mm-hmm. One of our favorite swirlies is in Vogue sharing her battle with cancer. So content creator Bridget Ball started IVF and came away with a cancer diagnosis reports Vogue this morning. So Bridget, we always call her at Bridget. She does have a first and last name. She is, no, she's Bridget. To me, she's at Bridget. I can't say it without the app. That's funny. She is a content creator. She's a designer. She owns the company, The Bar, the bar sweatshirts that everybody wears.
54:03And she just is like a swirly who was like sharing her journey online when she got married. She had that insane wedding. Remember, she closed down a street in Soho for her rehearsal dinner. And then she was sharing her journey through IVF and she had to stop in the middle of IVF because they found out she had breast cancer like through that journey. Yeah, so now she sat down with Vogue. It was a really like beautiful piece on just like her. I loved what she was wearing. Very Jackie O. Yeah. She looks so pargy and she's out of radiation now. So just sort of like updating on the last year or so and like what she has to look forward to.
54:35And it was just a very surprising, beautiful piece. And I know everyone like who follows Bridget or knows her is just like has so much love for her and everyone has been praying for her. And like just to be at this point, it's just like as a fan of her is very exciting. Yeah. I don't know if this is like the new direction of editor in chief, Chloe, what's her name? But like, these are the types of stories Vogue needs to be at. It's like Vogue is a women's magazine, right? We're supposed to be telling women's stories. And like bash it. Like Bridget is all like, she's a brand owner. Like, yeah, this is exactly what Vogue publication should be publishing.
55:12And like, if you're on the internet and you follow like, you know, the influencers and the girls, this has been like one of the biggest stories of the last year. just like everyone praying for Bridget and like and being up she's shared a lot of updates like in her health and also just in her life and her lifestyle and her like everything that she's been going through so like we've all been along for a vibe like this is what people have been talking about not me knowing what cold capping is like she's trying to preserve her hair while going through chemo right doing this thing called cold capping and it's working like this is what everyone's been talking about so it's like good when vogue's talking about the things that like yeah like welcome we've been talking about this for a year but welcome are invested in yeah it was really beautiful like a tribute for like this journey she's been through i don't know exactly like what is next for her and her journey but like finishing these 15 rounds was like a huge thing i love her love her and i love the journey and honestly words i never thought i'd say kudos vogue and she's really inspiring she is inspiring a lot of women i'm say that in earnest to get checked and to do self checks put her on the cover no i mean it for real like is this chloe's influence i feel like it's a good guess yeah because like this is vogue considers themselves like too high brow to like do internet stuff but like this is what women are talking about yeah and this is supposed to be an issue like a magazine that talks about women's issues this is a huge issue yeah yeah i love bridget like sir wait sending love to bridget i think this is how they do it oh wait oh wait i don't think that's how they do it no i'm pretty sure it is I'm 100 % sure Just go like that Yeah they're over complicating Like something so simple They are Those are the fast five stories You deafs needed to know them Deafs Do you want to talk about Love is Blind?
57:00Ugh Yeah okay because once again I feel like I'm so unique in my takes And I don't really have anything to say About the rest of the show Except for Madison and Joe's breakup And it was so deeply uncomfortable because she's just like begging for clarity and at a certain point i do feel like you have a responsibility as a human being like just like being a decent human in a relationship like not to tell the person exactly what you're thinking like i don't think you need radical transparency in a breakup because it's clear what he was saying was not sufficient it was definitely not you know it was confusing like him saying i just don't think it's right i don't think it's right i won't i shouldn't right and she's like i just need more clarity i just need more clarity and he just keeps saying that and i don't think it's because he doesn't have a reason it's because the reason it's probably gonna hurt her feelings and so everybody like i don't know am i in the minority where i'm like kind of team joe he's allowed to break up with someone and you're allowed to tell a little bit of a lie in a breakup if the truth is just mean right like it's not like i cheated on you or what like there's no reason because he's not that into it like how does he how many times is it different ways should he say that before you just get it yeah and it's not like he's giving you like mixed messages at this point like he is up and adam and leaving and I agree.
58:13Like not her crying on the floor and he's packing his bags. Like it was painful. He should be like, I don't like you. You. And that would be better? No. No, it was just so frustrating. Like, and I guess he's the villain. Not in my eyes. Like the villain. She's like, and you let me try on wedding dresses? What, you want him to let you go to the altar? Like that's what this process is for. Yeah. And if he broke up with her before that, it's like you got down on one knee. You should. Right. No, no. you you met my family and then you break up like there's no good time to end in engagement yeah and you're just not gonna catch me like being on madison's side i'm sorry i don't know if that makes me the bad guy here you're not like he did the right thing he saw it through and it's not that i'm on joe's side i don't think joe is like an amazing guy i think that he's a little too shallow and surface level for a show such as this really couldn't handle like what it means if love were to be blind right no he's so not the elk of a blind now it's two weddings he's called off that's not like commitment that's not your man right um however the more she speaks and cries and like whines the better he looks yeah because like this is gonna be really mean but she was giving like whiny little bitch like he people and this happens a lot with especially Especially when it was like, we've all been here this whole time.
59:39This isn't a shock. Like, this is actually at last, not at once. And you are not surprised. You literally were accusing him to the night you got home of, like, not liking you enough. So, like, now he's, like, telling you, like, hey, I don't like you enough. And it's like. It's like Annie and Joe. Yeah. Is that a thing? Well, one, you've made this a self-fulfilling prophecy. But not to say it's your fault. Because we can all see they didn't. Actually, Nick liked Annie enough. Yes, yes. She ruined that completely by herself. But we could all see that Joe like wasn't all the way in to Madison. And the thing is with the show that I often like have like a difference in opinion with the discourse is that somebody becomes a villain when they break up with someone.
1:00:18And I'm sorry, you are allowed to break up with a partner. You are like that doesn't make you a bad person. I haven't been looking at a lot of the discourse, but I am pleased to see that like people are not like turning against Nick. Like, I think people actually appreciated his breakup with Annie. And that, like, she was. Is that his name? Mick? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. It's, like, so Jonas Brothers coded. I'm so confused. I'm trying. I feel like people, like, could see that for what it was. And I was shocked. I thought for sure, like, she had, you know, got the victim. Victim complex, yeah. Yeah, she crushed that.
1:00:55Yeah, no. She was insufferable. I just. like what are you saying about joe madison it's just like he was the worst he was the worst like yeah she's a little annoying but he was the worst it's like well no no go back rewind she refuses to see that like the guy in front of her is like so not the guy like let it go let the mouse go yeah and at that point it's like would you even say yes to this person like and if you did you're the problem i'm judging you a hundred percent i remember that night in the honeymoons when remember how they even are still together after that her waking him up being like you're scaring me joe she made that you're scaring him because he's literally half asleep he's a zombie like that's on you babe that's on you joe you're really scaring me you're asking me the same four questions yeah he's black out you just woke him up you just woke a sleeping dog like of course that's scary one of my core tenants in life is like you never wake up a sleeping person of course so for me except that's so funny because i was on the phone with jackie yesterday you guys and i was like sorry i gotta go i gotta wake ruby up and jackie was like what i was flabbergasted she wakes up ruby from his naps because like he naps so good and he's but I wake up Ruby in the morning too.
1:02:22Like not, you know, I need to stop bragging because. No, you seriously need to. Actually, you know what? It's good. You should share these anecdotes of like of good sleep that it could happen to you. It can. That it could happen to someone out there. And it's not all just like you'll never sleep again. No, but I also want to say like this happened to me. But I also think I did some things. Like I worked really hard at breastfeeding Ruby and like getting him to be fat as fuck. Like getting him to like be above that birth weight. I did the sleep training like that was a little bit hard I let him cry a little bit you know yeah oh yeah I let him cry not a lot you guys know like a couple of minutes um it was really hard but like I'm sorry I did some things I do think like as much as I don't rub it in my face like I do think you should share that with the audience because I think that's like a really reassuring for people to hear that like you might have to wake up your child in the morning and they're not going to wake you up and be your alarm every day no there was like that good three and a half months though where it was like it was that when he was born yeah yeah when he was born but three and a half months of his first days of his life where he was a baby like no i'm saying it's not like you know he was born and we slept no it's like that newborn thing yeah but honestly like doing the wake-ups with a newborn is easier than doing it with a four or five month old when you're like i thought no i saw someone on tiktok say that like having a six-month-old who sleeps through the night and a six-month-old who doesn't sleep at the night are two completely different versions of parenthood yeah of postpartum too i think some people still feel like they're really in the thick of postpartum when they aren't getting a restful night now ruby likes to wake up at five in the morning and cry a little bit it's not the biggest deal like doesn't he's he sleeps through the night like that yeah um no completely different versions of life yeah so just a little positivity after a negative episode yeah but not gonna lie felt like one of our funniest yeah it needed to be said kind of the theme of things that needed to be said yeah that's a good title we have a lot of good titles I know and it's like with titles it's like sometimes we just quote something random and funny that we said like the matriculation and speculation or whatever but I like it better when the title is like a theme of the episode and the theme of today's episode is things we needed to say okay it sounds like a Lucy scorebook things in which the light should say things that were left to be said like things that were left unsaid colon nothing we'll workshop it yeah yeah yeah thank you guys so much for listening to the Toast the Monday morning show where we deliver the fast-life stories that you need to know every Monday through Friday on YouTube so if you're watching this on YouTube please subscribe and give this video a thumbs up we're also available as a podcast anywhere podcast on Spotify iTunes Stitcher or public video I already cast box all the places that visit podcast find us to be five-star review about how beautiful about how stunning and of course curse about how wickedly talented we are.
