0:18Claudia Oshry:We'll start your day off swirly. It's the toast. I sound amazing.
0:24Jackie Oshry:welcome back to the toast and happy tuesday that feels like a monday at least for me because i have so much to do i feel like ben was just like i'm sure he did his best i didn't watch it welcome back to the turt i think is what you mean sure welcome back to the turt and welcome back i have so much to say you know and i tried to like offload all this information to ben but he did
0:42Claudia Oshry:great i know but you should have watched he was insistent on forming his own opinions i'm like i had the opinions i just like wanted to give them no i want his unbridled opinion did anybody else
0:50Jackie Oshry:feel bad for Justin Timberlake? No.
0:52Claudia Oshry:Yeah. No, we didn't. I was cracking up, like not Ben saying you can drink and drive if you're stranded. Oh, is that what he said? I need to watch. I sent him the videos before. What he meant, but like the way the words came out, it did sound like he was giving permission.
1:07Jackie Oshry:He was giving grace. He was giving permission to someone who is stranded. So I sent him the two videos and I was like, you have to watch this before. Cause like, here's what happened. The video was trying to like subpoena to like get it, whatever. And so I think he called me thinking I would have the same reaction. He was like, that video was horrible. I'm like, I agree. He was like, no privacy. I'm like, well, he didn't get the video released because he's a celebrity. Everyone gets their videos released. It's like the country that we live in. That's the rules. He was like, really? This just feels so wrong.
1:31Jackie Oshry:I'm like, okay.
1:32Claudia Oshry:Well, the first story today is going to be your take on the stories from yesterday that I need your takes on. Because there were a couple things that happened that we needed to hear from you. It was funny to hear from Ben. We had a grand old time. but um justin timorlake's dui video like just need 30s take of course and so sorry like of all the
1:50Jackie Oshry:days i was so sick yesterday like actually you know i'm kind of like a really like i have an amazing work ethic it takes a lot for me not to come yeah i was so sick i don't know what the hell's going around i feel like i had covid like it was so bad um and i'm feeling so much better so i really i'm like the type of person because like i said about my work ethic once i feel a little bit better i like go back to my normal level of activity and then i never get better so i was like i just need to i was so sick at disney on ice also need to talk about disney yeah
2:13Claudia Oshry:So we'll talk about the stories and the stories. Want to catch up with turd self? How are you feeling?
2:18Jackie Oshry:So much better. Did you have this? Like, this is like the illness that's been rocking our family.
2:23Claudia Oshry:So I don't want to jinx anything. And right now I'm having the sneezes, but I do think it might be allergies because it's allergy season. And so I'm just going to like back. I'm not going to say I didn't get it because then I'll get it. I don't really know what's happening.
2:36Jackie Oshry:Oh, my God. It was extremely rough. Like, it was just like. You needed aunties, bodies, aunties. I was actually thinking of even drinking your milk. like that's how desperate I was I could not breathe I'm better but like it did hit me the hardest at Disney on ice and I shouldn't have went but like oh my god we have to go and like I just had to go even though I did leave like right after intermission because I was dying um it was quite dazzling I we put on like a Disney on ice playlist in the car and like some of the songs I didn't recognize and we were like wait is this like new age Disney like I forget that like the Disney that kids love today is like not the shit I grew up with like I grew up with the OGs, you know, like, like for Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast.
3:16Jackie Oshry:And now I think kids are all about like Coco, Frozen, Moana, which are great. But like we when I turned on the playlist, I'm like, what the hell is this shit? Like, so I was a little worried it was going to be like woke Disney, you know, like new age. No, it was very much some things about Disney like are timeless. Mickey.
3:32Claudia Oshry:Yeah. You know, classics. They had Beauty and the Beast. There was a Coco. I've not seen Coco.
3:36Jackie Oshry:Yeah, but it was pretty dazzling. The Coco. I hadn't seen it either. Remember me. I don't remember the song. Requiredo me. Requiredo, I remember that. Requiredo yo. Yo, Requiredo. So I didn't see the second half, but it was really amazing. It's kind of crazy that like these people like are professional figure skaters. Like why aren't they at the Olympics?
3:58Claudia Oshry:When I saw Disney on Ice the first time, I know you weren't interested. I wasn't. But my takeaway is like, who are these people? Where did they come from? That's what I felt about the circus. What's their background? because they're amazing figure skaters. Not good enough to go to the Olympics, but like they're touring figure skaters. And it's like, what path brought them to Disney on Ice? Probably like the Olympic path. Right. So it's like, if you don't... But that could have been Simone Biles, you know? If you don't hit the Olympics as a figure skater, and a lot of people train for the Olympics and don't make it.
4:28Jackie Oshry:You either like just give it up completely and like go to school. Or you do Disney on Ice or maybe like ice capades. Right. There are a couple of like professional figure skaters, yes, who aren't Olympians. That's how I felt about the circus. Now, the traits that you have at the circus are a little bit more freaky. I think there are less opportunities for trapezists and things of that nature. And I think if you're going to do an activity. But also, you can be a gymnast.
4:51Claudia Oshry:There's a lot of different ways you can make it to the circus. But if you can't skate, if you can't skate, you can't skate.
4:57Jackie Oshry:No, it was really impressive. I don't think Disney puts out anything that's not top tier. And Ruby was a little young for it, so we didn't really need to be there, and I was seriously dying on the way home.
5:07Claudia Oshry:I just want to say Griffin was loving it. When Ben was here, he was saying how you guys left early. I was like, yeah, Ruby was not feeling it, a little fussy. He was like, Kojures was not feeling it.
5:17Jackie Oshry:Ruby could have stayed for 30 more minutes, but I was not okay. And then Justin Timberlake's video came out, which was obviously deeply moving for me, which I'll save for the first story. And then the continuation of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. What did Ben have to say about Solano? Whose team is he on? Does he have hard takes?
5:36Claudia Oshry:What did we say? Oh my gosh, we were talking about the drama with me and the Matthews family. Oh, I saw the clip. Oh my God, laughing so fucking hard. I can't believe that happened to me. Like seriously. But I will say.
5:47Jackie Oshry:What are the odds that I spoke about them when they heard it? I appreciated a lot of people pointing this out in the comments. Like a lot of times clips will go viral and like the person who's the subject of the clip will like comment at the podcaster and the podcaster like always like curls up like, I didn't mean it. I was having a bad day, you know. You very much stood your ground. Like because we don't say things on the show that we really don't mean. Unless like the next day I'm like, actually, I changed my mind. So I respect you not being like, well, it's unfortunate that she saw it, but she did put it out there for the world to like discuss.
6:13Claudia Oshry:Yeah, to like talk about her marriage. What I was saying, though, is like sometimes people put out clips and they're like, oh, you don't understand. You don't have context. Well, it's like you put it out without context. Right. And that is sort of what I did so I can take ownership for that. Because like if you don't follow the show, like just hearing someone's my weenie of the week sounds like really nasty. But it's actually a compliment. It's only mildly nasty. Yeah. And someone pointed out in the comments, like you actually like being the weenie is really like a lesser evil compared to like actual bad people.
6:40Claudia Oshry:Like, I don't think that terribly. It's just weenie like behavior. So and but you know what? Then I saw people commenting like, no, I'm glad you posted. I found you guys. You guys are hysterical. Well, so and this is actually the basis of the article. The article that I was talking about like a week or two ago that like I didn't read but wanted to reference, which was like women who hate their husbands. and so it's like this is the exact type of situation where this happens all the time on
7:04Jackie Oshry:the internet where someone would be like my husband did the craziest thing and it's like actually what your husband did is so evil and the comments are like divorce and break up with him in the next video it was like you guys don't understand it's like well stop putting shit out there for us to comment on and then being mad at the comments like you have now shared this deeply intimate part of your marriage we are giving our takes on it because you put it on a tv show and on tiktok and so it's like if you don't like it well don't put it out there you know so it's like that shit that was like the whole article it's like sharing like the worst parts of your marriage or your husband and then being mad when people like say you should leave him he sucks yeah
7:34Claudia Oshry:well like not understanding why you're then associated with this person right it's like why are you making this our problem no and like we're just part of the ecosystem of tv recaps like we all exist to stand on each other's shoulders like we lift each other up you know what i mean at the end of the day i'm like talking about your show i can't stop fucking talking about it like i want everybody to watch it that is a good thing if you are interested in the success of your show.
7:55Jackie Oshry:Correct. So rising tides, rise all shides.
7:57Claudia Oshry:We're all simpatico here.
7:59Jackie Oshry:I feel like we're just sort of diddly-dallying. You want
8:03Claudia Oshry:to get into stories? Oh, there's something else I need to discuss that I... Your shirt?
8:06Jackie Oshry:No, why? Because you're wearing a specific type of shirt today?
8:09Claudia Oshry:Chessie?
8:09Jackie Oshry:No! No, no, no, no. You're wearing a specific type of shirt for a specific reason?
8:14Claudia Oshry:I'm wearing a button-down, mint, green, and white shirt because Claudia thinks I'm wearing it because of my colors. Yes, did you talk about that? No. and you're wearing your colors but no I actually I got this shirt before the colors and it's just been like I just got it and it's been sitting on my chair and I was in such a rush this morning I'm
8:30Jackie Oshry:like I guess I'm wearing that shirt so on Friday we had a color analyst come to the studio and do what's it called like a color analysis oh getting your colors done we got our colors done people have told us for years to do it apparently it can like make a difference in what makeup you wear what clothes you wear just basically how your face looks overall um it was very insightful I am a bright spring I'm a warm a soft autumn I thought you were also a spring
8:54Claudia Oshry:no I wound up being autumn you sure soft okay it looked like I was trending towards spring but then also people were commenting that like
9:00Jackie Oshry:we didn't let her do our job I know people said like you girls didn't shut up like we wanted to hear the but I thought she was like guiding us I felt like multiple times I was like we need to shut up yeah what do you think and I feel like at the end like she agreed with her analysis right I don't think yeah I don't think she would have given us the wrong one yeah we were just being chatty like sorry So do you feel like you did? Have you done anything differently since you found out your colors?
Read the full transcript
9:23Claudia Oshry:No, I kept it in mine. But also, as you saw in the podcast, she didn't have the exact booklet for mine. She's mailing it to me. So I'm like waiting for my exact booklet.
9:29Jackie Oshry:I did change my blush. So let me know if you feel a difference. And you're wearing your color, Bright Spring. I am wearing like a Bright Spring color. Yeah. Even though this is like not really.
9:36Claudia Oshry:The other thing that I wanted to mention that I keep forgetting to mention is our little sister, Margot. Oh, yeah. Let's talk about our little sister. The coolest thing ever this weekend. And on Friday, I didn't like realize like what was happening. Me neither.
9:47Jackie Oshry:She also didn't make it a big deal.
9:48Claudia Oshry:No, she did. She said she was going to Vegas. No, she told me it was a big deal, but seeing it in action was so sick.
9:54Jackie Oshry:Margot was hired as the official correspondent for the Luke Holmes fan club and literally got to go to his opening weekend in Vegas, interview Luke, make content with Luke, go to the show.
10:03Claudia Oshry:She hosted his fan listening party for the album on Friday night. She got to go to the rehearsal, which she said was the coolest thing she ever did in her life.
10:10Jackie Oshry:I didn't even know that that was something you could go to.
10:11Claudia Oshry:So she experienced a Luke Holmes concert alone in a stadium with her best friends.
10:15Jackie Oshry:With her best friends and like the 10 people who work for Luke Holmes. Like it was insane.
10:19Claudia Oshry:Like in an empty stadium. Then she went to opening night and had like full access. She's literally in Luke's bathroom. Running around. Taking pictures. And I'm just so proud of her.
10:28Jackie Oshry:That's like literally our sister who works in music. Like that's our little sister, you guys. Not so little. Our little sister. She's going to be like, did you call me fat on the podcast?
10:37Claudia Oshry:No. We're just like, remember the time we told Emma Chamberlain our little sister was a big fan? And she expected us to bring like a bassinet in the room.
10:43Jackie Oshry:And we had this grown woman watch out. She was like, oh, that's your little sister? She's older than I am. We were like, our little sister loves you so much. Wah, wah. And she was like, oh, I'd love to meet her after the episode. And we like brought her into the Zoom. I think she was expecting like a 12-year-old. Yeah. In comes this 25-year-old bitch. Like it was insane. We're hilarious. The lore of the show like seriously never ends. No, it doesn't. I was actually thinking on the Patreon we should do like an up-to-date lore. A day lore? You know, ever since Michaela Matthews, you know, left us a hate comment.
11:11Jackie Oshry:We have so many new listeners who maybe don't know the backstory of like all of our funny inside jokes and stuff.
11:15Claudia Oshry:Yeah. It really should motivate us to post more hateful reels.
11:19Jackie Oshry:Oh, no. I will never get into the business of hate.
11:21Claudia Oshry:That wasn't even hateful. It was funny. No, you know. But you know. You're not hateful. Like trolly. Trolly. I will never be that. Hot takey. But no, you have to suffer through an hour plus of this show to get the goods. To the weenie. Yeah. No, but like if you are like seriously hot takes. Yeah. Like you have to put in the work. Yeah. You don't just get it for free.
11:42Jackie Oshry:It's true. Or you can pay for it at patreon.com.
11:44Claudia Oshry:Oh, for sure. But like, no, you've got to clock the hours. So anyone you want to say anything nasty about Justin Timberlake? Without further ado, do, do, do, do, do, here are the fast five stories that you do need to know.
11:59Jackie Oshry:And the fast five stories that you need to know are brought to you by Pepsi Prebiotic Cola. Now coming in two flavors, Original Cola and Cherry Vanilla. So it's got your classic great Pepsi taste, but now with even more to love. It has no artificial sweeteners, only five grams of sugar, just 30 calories and three grams of prebiotic fiber. So Pepsi is constantly innovating. Their new product, Pepsi Prebiotic Cola, is delicious. You know, fun fact about me, and people think I'm lying when I say this, but I'm not. Like, I have decidedly enjoyed Pepsi more than any other beverage for years now. I just, like, I go with taste.
12:28Jackie Oshry:I think a lot of people get bogged down by labels, like, what does this mean? What does it say about me? For me, it's always been about taste. And I realized a few years ago, like, I think Pepsi is the best tasting cola. So I drink Pepsi. Now they have a new product and it's so delicious. So it's a prebiotic cola. Comes in two different flavors, original cola and cherry vanilla. Cherry vanilla is so Ben. Ben loves cherry vanilla like soda and he loves the Pepsi one. I'm much more original. There's something just very classic about it. And I believe I'm a classic beauty. So that makes sense. It's available now.
12:55Jackie Oshry:You should definitely check it out. It has just 30 calories, five grams of sugar. And of course, those great prebiotic fibers. It's got three grams. It also has no artificial sweeteners. So it really just tastes like Pepsi, but with so much more to love. I have tried it. I really do like it. It's the Pepsi Prebiotic Cola. Again, two flavors. Cherry vanilla, very Ben Safra coated. Orange cola, very Turdy Lou Freebush Asher Safra coated. Try to pick some up if you haven't already. Perfect for a little get-together, a little poured out over ice with a nice metal straw. Enjoy it. Don't rush through the beautiful things in life.
13:23Jackie Oshry:Have a nice Pepsi on Turdy. Check it out today if you haven't already. Available now. Today's episode is also brought to you by Wetter Spoon. Perfect timing. It's been like a very trendy wellness thing for many years, but it's been very hard to like find. It's not just regular honey that you get at the grocery store. It's very nutrient dense. It's really, really good for you. And Wetter Spoon is the number one selling Manuka honey in the U.S. Once you try it, you'll know why.
13:50Jackie Oshry:Manuka honey, if you've ever been looking for it and you don't know how to get it like outside of like making it yourself, Wetter Spoon is making it really accessible and it comes in a ton of different products. Obviously, the actual honey, which you can put into your yogurt, put into tea. I like to just put it on a spoon when I'm sick and take like spoonfuls of it. It really helps my throat. They also made like different innovative products like lollipops, honey drops. They source their manuka honey exclusively from New Zealand. It has naturally occurring wellness benefits from the compound called MGO.

When it comes to certain categories, you can trust Jackie and I to be experts on them. And when it comes to bedding and things for the bed, look no farther. Bowling Branch signature bedding is something I've had in my home probably since we started this podcast. So like almost eight or nine years, I can never remember.
15:19Jackie Oshry:The signature sheet set, the waffle blanket, everything I get from Bowling Branch wears really well. I've had the same sheets for like many, many years. They get softer with every wash. And then like the more aesthetic things like the waffle blanket, I love. Oh my God, that used to be Theo's favorite blanket. Like you literally would sleep on nothing but rip. It's loved by millions of sleepers. It's woven by artisans with the finest 100 % organic cotton and the highest level of craftsmanship. It's designed for breathable sleep so you can add more layers without making your bed feel heavy or hot.
15:43Jackie Oshry:It's made to get softer and loftier with every wash. And they're also designed to mix and match. They have over 300 color combinations. I had white for many, many years. And then one day I was like, what if I did off-white? And it kind of changed everything. Like going from white to off-white is true like maturation. You feel that? I think the color I got was like natural or sand. One of those. Your first night sleeping in Bowling Branch sheets, like you'll see the difference. You'll feel the difference. I will say Bowling Branch is probably the number one sponsor that I get like text messages about from my friends being like, what was the code for Bowling Branch? Like it's most used by friends of turning. So you think you could call it Turden Branch? I don't know if the legal team over at Bowlin Branch would like that very much. Thank you, Turden Branch.
16:38Jackie Oshry:You're welcome, Turden Branch. Turden Branch. Sounds like someone we went to high school with. Turden Branch? No, it sounds like Turden Branch. The rural juror? Yeah. Oh, did you just see Tina Fey hosted the first inaugural episode of SNL UK? We did.
16:53Claudia Oshry:Okay.
16:53Jackie Oshry:It was actually crazy because it was like, I love Tina Fey. And they say she's like prized to take over for Lorne Michaels. when, and this is like sort of a signal of that. Would she want that job? I don't know, but I think she would be great at it. You'd make a lot of work. It would also be like a self-fulfilling prophecy, Liz Lemon, like becoming Liz Lemon. And I do think like SNL desperately needs like a something. And I think while Lauren has done amazing work, like maybe he's just not in tune with like what's necessary. And they say that like her hosting SNL UK is like a big step in that direction.
17:22Jackie Oshry:It was so bad. Like I love Tina Fey. I think she's actually funny. It was so corny. Like, I don't know. there's something so weird about it.
17:31Claudia Oshry:I don't think that Lauren is not in tune with what's necessary. I think he knows like what people would want and he just wants to do what he wants. Like I don't think he like tries to win back an audience. I think he's like this is the show I want to put out.
17:44Jackie Oshry:I feel like actually like recently they cast people like they cast people for like a younger generation. The three boys project something. They like make the skits. And then like they cast like this girl Jane who was like very big on TikTok. Like I do feel like they lean in a little little bit to like but it's just they're so all over the place and I don't think they know who's like watching their show I don't know who's watching their show um and I do think like Tina Faye really could bring but I don't know the SNL UK that I saw like the clip was so yeah yeah it was bad and I like I seriously love Tina Faye damn well our first story is
18:18Claudia Oshry:30s takes because a couple things happened yesterday and we need to know your thoughts so first the Justin Bieber DUI video came out after much Justin Bieber I said that yesterday too okay he's gonna sue me and he should he's gonna sue me okay just timberlake yeah do you i said that on my instagram story too yeah um timberlake dui video he didn't want it out it's
18:41Jackie Oshry:out what'd you think of it so i stand by what i said that he shouldn't have made it such a big deal because barring like him whipping his penis out like what could have been so bad that he was running naked through this yeah like the way that they were being and now it alerted us all it was I don't know if I would have been looking for it if he hadn't and maybe I would have seen it come across my desk it wasn't that crazy that like I actually would have moved on we would have talked about it for one day and like so he shouldn't have made it a big deal because there was no way that video wasn't making it out um although I will say kind of net net I actually think the only place I can personally go up with Justin Timberlake oh the only place I can go with Justin Timberlake is up yeah um and I thought the video was like kind of endearing like humanizing not only was it humanizing I think a lot of people like Reese Witherspoon like when you're a celebrity you're very disrespectful.
19:24Jackie Oshry:Like, you don't know who I am. There's so many awkward moments like that. He was extremely humble to the point where he couldn't even explain what he did. He was trying to be like, do you know who I am? Without saying it. And he ended up just coming off like kind of modest. And I don't know. And he made that funny joke. He was like, what? I don't know. I kind of actually think the video was like good for him. I thought it was funny. And when they locked him up, he was like, I have to stay here all night. I was like, oh no.
19:49Claudia Oshry:It literally never dawned on him that he was getting it.
19:52Jackie Oshry:It was all fun and games until they put him in. He was like, we'll come get you tomorrow morning. He was like, wait, I have to spend the whole night here.
19:57Claudia Oshry:No, the entire time, like, he really thought this was about to be over.
20:00Jackie Oshry:Yeah, and even when he realized, like, the realization that he was spending the night in the slammer, he didn't get angry. He goes, you guys are wild, man. Like, he was so drunk. Like, he's obviously a nice drunk, and that's the other thing. Like, when you're drunk and then you're getting arrested and you're a celebrity. In vino veritas. It is a recipe for, like, the worst, most evil side of you to come out. and he was so down home shaking everybody's hands like i don't know i kind of like it was a kind of flattering video by the way but also he was wasted like oh my takeaway was like maybe he wasn't oh no he was blackout taking the breathalyzer oh no no and when you deny your breathalyzer which i did see a video on tiktok like 10 years ago that stuck with me it was like when you get arrested for a dui you have to consent to those um field sobriety tests and like you can say no and i think you should say no because then it's like literal proof that you were drunk driving unless you weren't drunk oh right sure blow away um so obviously like he was experienced and he knew he saw that tiktok video too he was wasted like that that's the only thing the video didn't do well is like you drove not only did you drive drunk you drove blackout i thought there was a path to sobriety although he did have like kind of a good excuse he was like oh sorry i was like following my friends in front of me and like they were driving just like fast and like i couldn't follow them like okay if that was maybe like oh okay that makes sense bye yeah all in all i thought
21:17Claudia Oshry:was pretty good i thought so too i'm surprised to hear you you know i thought we were waiting
21:23Jackie Oshry:your great condemnation well the thing about me is people try to put me in a box right like is my gay it's like no you know or yes right um and so yeah obviously everyone's like making fun of justin timberlake i don't like to like hop on the bandwagon i was onto justin timberlake before everyone else you know um when he was asked what he did for a living and he was like i'm on a tour which is not an answer to the question. He didn't say, what are you on? He said, what do you do? Yeah. And he was like, I'm on a world tour. Like as if that clarified it. And the guy was like, what? What do you do, sir?
22:01Jackie Oshry:And it's just like, it's not even like he has a hard job. We have a hard job to explain. I'm a musician. Like that's literally, I'm a singer. I'm a performer.
22:08Claudia Oshry:I think he's so removed from like reality that he actually doesn't, like he only sees himself as like a celebrity. I don't know how that he would like know how to describe.
22:16Jackie Oshry:I think that was maybe like proof that he was actually really drunk. Cause like what you do is really not hard to describe. I'm a singer.
22:20Claudia Oshry:I think he was having a hard time, like waiting for the guy to like figure it out. He is. Yeah. But as we reported, like the arresting officer was really young and didn't know who Justin Timberlake was.
22:29Jackie Oshry:I want to say something about the arresting officer. Cause there was two cops in the video. The arresting officer is the redhead, this like young hotshot who's like now made a real name for himself at the force. And then this other guy who obviously knew who Justin Timberlake was. and I did feel like the redheaded cop look at me I'm like defending Justin Timberlake now because he was wrong he should have gone to prison but the redheaded cop like definitely was like a real stickler like the other cop was like excited he was going to follow the law but he was excited to be following the law with a celebrity the other guy was like too cool for school you know like he knew nothing oh you mean like wasn't
22:57Claudia Oshry:giving him any special treatment and he deserved like a little more special treatment no I don't think he deserved special treatment I'm just saying like he was just like doing his job
23:03Jackie Oshry:to the letter I think a lot of people who maybe would have recognized a celebrity in that moment but still had to do their job just like maybe wouldn't have like cuffed him to the wall you know he was like up to the desk like I'm sorry um I'm sorry so like I do feel like the red-headed cop was definitely like looking to make once he figured out like that this person was famous I'm sure the other cop was like do you know this and he's definitely like a star hater yes yes and you know I think a lot of that's actually the mentality of a lot of locals in Sag Harbor this is like a very small beach town that's been infiltrated by like wealthy people and celebrities and they like hate summer people and Justin Timberlake is sort of like the quintessential walking celebrity who just has like probably like a 20 million dollar house here and has no connection to sag harbor and it's like this old historic long island fishing town he's like you don't you know so i could see them hating him but i did feel like the redheaded guy which he by the they had to arrest him he was a danger to the world to himself um but i could see him like being like like an ass you know yeah all in all not bad don't put turdy in a box yeah okay like drinking and driving like how stupid are you i'm sorry how stupid are you but what if you're stranded sleep on the like seriously sleep it off in your car yeah not off in your car for two hours yeah go get a coffee at the place you got a margarita and drive like i think what ben was
24:18Claudia Oshry:trying to say is that there's never an excuse to drink and drive but justin bieber jackie seriously we're gonna get sued cut that out never an excuse to drink and drive i think justin bieber actually did drink and drive but justin timberlake had less excuses than most than most that's actually a good point that's what ben was trying to say okay that's beautiful also we need your take on chapel rhone oh and jesse draper and um oh we'll talk about slam
24:45Jackie Oshry:who later in the show but chapel rhone i can't even tell you like how much joy the chapel rhone saga brought me as somebody who's like literally hated chapel rome from the second i met her face you know and i feel like she was definitely foisted on us like i remember the summer before last we were doing episodes and i remember people commenting like how are you guys not talking about Chapel Rhone. I'm like, what the fuck is a Chapel Rhone? And it was like, you don't you're not in tune with what's necessary. So I started to get involved with her. Such a regret of mine. And I do feel good about the fact that she clearly hates being famous.
25:14Jackie Oshry:You can't blame me. I never streamed. I never stand. I never went to a concert. I never listened to a single song of hers outside of my own free will at the grocery store or on TikTok. And this person is so Fabissina. And I loved the boy George tweet. Did you see he tweeted about the saga? Not this saga. The last one. Which one? Chappelle, Chappelle. Yeah, Chappelle, Chappelle. When she had like literally another famous breakdown two weeks ago. Can you pull up the tweet from Boy George, Dorit Kemsley's friend? Well, actually, ex-friend. He tweeted about the situation offering just like a wiser, older, you know, mentor's take.
25:46Jackie Oshry:But it was so good. I can't stand this bitch. Like, I really can't. He said he told her to own her fame.
25:56Claudia Oshry:He said, it's probably not helpful, but I have been doing this fame thing for a while. and you learn slowly and painfully that you don't get a free pass once you turn yourself into a bird of paradise. I watched Chapel Rome filming the Paps in Paris and I laugh because I've kicked off at them many times. Yes, it's annoying at times, but so is being ignored and told you're a has-been. Life is always now and I think Chapel looks great, but cheer up, girl. The world is at your feet. Stop kicking it. It takes so much more time to say no to a picture or a signature. Boundaries are boring. Break them with the magic of kindness.
26:26Jackie Oshry:The world is at your feet. Stop kicking it. Like, great quote. And that was before this whole like child saga. And so obviously now people are going back and forth. It was like the bodyguard wasn't mine, yada, yada. Please. What do you think? Bodyguards just like roam around random hotels yelling at little girls. Like even if you weren't directly paying him, you were headlining Lollapalooza. Like obviously either the concert, your management, somebody, this random security guy, she's saying he has no connection. Like, please. She's so awful. Like I cannot stand this girl. And what was my take when I saw the whole saga?
26:56Jackie Oshry:I felt good about myself and my decision making up until this point for never having cared about this person. Who doesn't even care about her fans. Team Jorgingho? Obviously. Team Jude Law's daughter. That was the craziest saga about this whole thing. How did we not know this queen whose stepdad is the most famous athlete in South America and whose biological dad is the hottest man alive? And who's the mom? Catherine Harding. Slay mama. I don't know who she is pulling all this dick. I love her. It was a crazy saga. The kid is so cute. Did you see like the picture with Lewis Capaldi?
27:29Claudia Oshry:That's my king right there.
27:30Jackie Oshry:Like making it right with Lewis Capaldi. Making it right. Such a weird saga. Obsessed.
27:36Claudia Oshry:Yeah. Yeah. Okay, great. Now we can move on to today's stories. Well, Jesse Draper.
27:42Jackie Oshry:Is that a story?
27:43Claudia Oshry:We're going to talk Slot Moo a little bit later in the show. It's getting pushed back like every day. You know, it can be the lead story every day of Slot Moo. Okay.
27:50Jackie Oshry:But like even though you're Jace Matthews is my Jordan Draper.
27:53Claudia Oshry:No, agreed. and Taylor Franke like this is the biggest story of the year I'm sorry nothing can happen that's bigger
27:58Jackie Oshry:I actually feel bad for people who don't watch the show
28:00Claudia Oshry:yeah and we will of course discuss but first the other stories of things that are happening today Miley Cyrus premiered in Montana 20th anniversary special red carpet so the special is now it's out I haven't watched it yet I'm looking forward to it the last night was the premiere the stars were out the carpet was purple Miley was there in a custom Pokoroban chainmail gown With her mans and her Cast members and her family Except Emily Osmond and Mitchell Musso Emily Osmond put out a statement saying She loves Hannah, she learns so much She's sick or whatever Girl get up I don't think she's sick There has been rumored beef I think that she It's not her favorite thing anymore She probably doesn't get along with Miley or talk to her anymore and like she's just like on the outs and I feel like she didn't realize that this is like bigger than her and her personal needs.
28:57Jackie Oshry:Yeah, right. Like we don't care. Get to the carpet, Lola Loftnagel. I think Mitchell Musso wasn't invited because he like did Crystal Meth that one time, right? Well, maybe more than one time. Not like family friendly.
29:06Claudia Oshry:But he's like not, yeah, he's not, I don't know how well he's doing.
29:09Jackie Oshry:Is he in prison?
29:11Claudia Oshry:That's like assorted. Mm-hmm.
29:13Jackie Oshry:But everyone else was there. Rico. Rico Jackson, of course. Jason Earls. Like Jason Earls is the heart and soul of the show. And I feel like maturing is realizing like it should have been Jackson, Montana. You know?
29:26Claudia Oshry:100%.
29:27Jackie Oshry:Jackson, Wyoming.
29:29Claudia Oshry:Jackson, Wyoming.
29:30Jackie Oshry:Like where's the Jackson spinoff right now where Jackson's like a dad? Jackson. And I think Jason Earls like loves the, never stopped loving the franchise, never stopped loving Disney. He did, they're just a spinoff. He just, by the way, it's never too late. Like Zendaya went back to Disney Channel. Like bring Jason Earls back. Like I would watch that shit.
29:45Claudia Oshry:Mm-hmm. I really would. Yeah, where he has a daughter who's like, who like be having a pop star
29:51Jackie Oshry:yeah and like yeah yeah and Miley I feel like is in a place now where she would like do a cameo 100 % why wasn't Dolly there don't you feel like actually in terms of like talent from just like in general like this carpet was kind of lacking
30:02Claudia Oshry:so I've only seen bits and bobs as I wake up this morning a bunch of influencers were there yeah but like influencers go to Mikaela Neguero put on a wig
30:09Jackie Oshry:okay so Mikaela Neguero
30:10Claudia Oshry:posted this TikTok
30:12Jackie Oshry:being like she hired a stylist because she's so excited she flew to LA with her best friends like this is the biggest thing that's ever happened to her she's like so excited I was actually like her energy for it. And she hired a stylist and she did a whole video about how like the meeting with the stylist was catastrophic. Like seriously. And she's like making this video voiceovering and the stylist is like in the video and she's like, he did such a bad job. Every outfit didn't fit. Every outfit was worse than the next. I feel like he did not understand like what I was going for. She had sent him a mood board of like literally pictures of like Hannah wearing like a belt over her dress, you know, and like that's the pop star 90s vibe that she wanted.
30:42Jackie Oshry:And he came with like literally the most like ugliest, tackiest looking, like I can't believe she hired a stylist and that's what she ended up wearing. I think I did see that. The comments were like shook, being like, girl, literally rent a Zara. Like there's nothing that you – like you don't have to wear something from this rack. And I don't know why she insisted. So one of the dresses that he pulled for her was like a green corset and a green long pencil skirt, like lime green. That was like cute if you were going out in Miami and not on theme or whatever. But it fit her. She was saying like nothing fit.
31:09Jackie Oshry:So of the rack of like 50 things, she literally had three items to choose from. Again, literally go to Old Navy. Like go anywhere. And so she ended up choosing that green corset dress thing, but she took the bottom of the dress off and just wore blue jeans. She looked so, and then she put on this like blue wig. She wants to put on her old blue jeans. Oh, she wasn't giving a nod to her old pal blue jeans. She then also wore like a blonde wig with, um. I saw. And like, people are like clowning on her. And the thing is like, one thing about me, you will never find me hating on Mikaela Nogueira. Like she rides so hard for herself.
31:39Jackie Oshry:And like, she liked the way that she looked enough to leave the house. And it's like, what's worse than like not being sure of like how you look? And then everyone on the internet being like, I hate this. I hate this. Like, seriously, leave fucking my kid nigga alone. I think she looks cute. I love the wig. It's like fun. It's like, first of all, for people our age, this is like.
31:56Claudia Oshry:And I was going to say like, her look surfaced for me. I don't know who else was there, but. It didn't surface. It didn't surface.
32:02Jackie Oshry:Chicks in the office were there, I saw. Do you like what Hannah wore? She wore like a Miley or Hannah Montana concert t-shirt under like the chain mail.
32:10Claudia Oshry:Oh, okay. I missed that. Now I'm looking and yeah, she's just being Miley. Like I can't ever tell this girl what to wear. Yeah. And I think she looks great. It is crazy how ageless she is. With the wig on. With the wig. And she did like Miley Cyrus and you're watching Disney Channel. She did like a fresh version of it. And she literally sounds and looks exactly the same. That video could have been taken 20 years ago.
32:31Jackie Oshry:Yeah. Something about that wig. It's like the sisterhood of the traveling wig.
32:35Claudia Oshry:Yeah.
32:36Jackie Oshry:Oh, that's her real hair. I'm hearing. That's her real hair. From last night.
32:38Claudia Oshry:I could see it. Yeah.
32:39Jackie Oshry:Yeah, and that should be a look that she should rock for a little while. And maybe she should also sing the climb. And maybe she should go on tour as Hannah Montana. Yeah, so I'm going to watch the special tonight. I'm very excited. I like that this is being given. This is being made into as big of a deal as I feel it is. And I can't wait to see it.
32:55Claudia Oshry:Miley also reunited with her original Hannah Montana co-stars. Cody Linley, Jason Earles, Alona Marr, Lainey Wilson.
33:04Jackie Oshry:Somebody fucked up at peoplemagazine.com. Alona Marr. I just think Moises Arias. I just think that like they were in attendance, not those two names are sandwiched between legitimate co-stars.
33:17Claudia Oshry:It's obviously like, it's obviously an error. You think so? Or was Lainey Wilson on Hannah Montana? And I miss that. That's possible. Alona Marr. Alona Marr was not on Hannah. It's giving error. Okay. I didn't mean to call you guys out. I'm just genuinely confused. They don't expect people.
33:33Jackie Oshry:Nobody reads the articles.
33:34Claudia Oshry:To go all the way to the bottom. Right. Okay. are you ready for our next story? Okay, we'll do Salamo. I won't torture you anymore. Couple things, couple things. Jordan filed for divorce from Jessie. We talked about that. We talked about that. She is going on Call Her Daddy. That should come out tomorrow. And word on the street is that there's a spinoff in the works with Jen Affleck in L.A. Jen Affleck in L.A. and a new cast. But then also that Jordan filed
34:00Jackie Oshry:a restraining order against Jessie yesterday. which could mean a lot of things. Right. I think, I mean, I saw it obviously as like, oh, some legal like between Dakota and Taylor, like being getting involved with like legal drama is making them more famous. I think Jordan's like, let me copy and paste restraining order. That's really what I think.
34:19Claudia Oshry:I feel like it's more of like a gag order. Like he doesn't want her to do this podcast.
34:23Jackie Oshry:Well, I did then read some rumors that like allegedly, allegedly, allegedly, like when, you know, something's coming out in their divorce. It's like he was, you know, stealing money from her and buying strippers, you know, like really bad. Allegedly.
34:33Claudia Oshry:Also in the promo for the Call Her Daddy episode, it was like a truth box. and it said like I'm getting a divorce. I'm not the only one who cheated.
34:39Jackie Oshry:Well, I feel like if there's any world in which her prenup doesn't hold up and she has all of this on him, I would like literally say fine. I won't tell anyone like all this freaky shit you did. Just like let me keep my business and my money.
34:52Claudia Oshry:I don't know.
34:52Jackie Oshry:He's so crazy. I feel like he would actually say no.
34:54Claudia Oshry:I feel like we're thinking that the prenup is holding up.
34:58Jackie Oshry:I don't know why. It wouldn't be wise of her. That's sort of where I land. To make such a public enemy. If she needs him to agree to. but if she if the prenup is holding up like also i feel like for him too as much as it's like
35:12Claudia Oshry:he just wants to be talked about he's so it like he's so like textbook rather have her go on call her daddy and say the nastiest shit about him than not then she doesn't realize like if she yeah right like i think he will be happy about that good because it's happening and i i mean i don't know what's going on between them at current at present but sometimes it seems like they're working in lockstep like you know she still has like videos like promos with him for like her hair stuff like i don't know there's just i feel like they change every day like their relationship yeah and like and how like on the same page they are even if they're getting divorced you know maybe they're just like we're getting divorced let's let's make it yeah well i hope that they
35:52Jackie Oshry:get their like financials and custody squared away before they start like slinging mud but it's all happening really quickly.
35:58Claudia Oshry:And I feel like things are squared away. If she's going on call her daddy and she's going to spill the beans. Right. Right. Right. I mean, although what more could she say?
36:06Jackie Oshry:Like, I feel like she literally hates him. I feel like she's been
36:09Claudia Oshry:protecting him for years. Well,
36:10Jackie Oshry:if there's real stuff there, like the hookers thing, which I heard twice.
36:13Claudia Oshry:No, but like also she's alluded, like everything that she shares, she talks about how mean he is, but like she's just like been sort of vague, like just says that, but like I think the first four years,
36:21Jackie Oshry:the first four years,
36:22Claudia Oshry:the details and also what's happened in the last six months. I feel like the last six months have been insane over there in Salt Lake, like between Dakota and Taylor seems like there's more with them. And that's what I was talking about with Ben. It's like, I don't think the bachelor was canceled because this video leaked. I think more is coming out. And Miranda has said that. Well, Jace DM someone like who was like, why aren't you supporting Taylor? Like no one. Jace. You heard me. Someone DM Jace saying, why aren't you supporting Taylor? You all like they all have platforms because of her. Like you should have her back.
36:54Claudia Oshry:and he like wrote back being like there's more that we just found out that's the horrible indefensible then someone commented on yesterday saying that dm from jace's ai i'm sure it is i'm i'm sure it's not i actually who would go out of their way the salamo fans the salamo fans would
37:15Jackie Oshry:jace's number one hater to make up a fake dm from jace from jace okay well i feel like if that's true what's even crazier is that taylor frankie paul is like very much active on tiktok right now like not posting leaving comments on people's tiktoks people who are like making you know uh giving their takes on the situation reporting she's reposting stuff yeah she's like very active in like defending herself her sort of party line is like you know this has happened years ago everybody knew about it and we've all really healed from it so like why is it coming up now but then other castmates saying like there's more things that they're finding out
37:48Claudia Oshry:doesn't really yeah and then um miranda said there's yeah it seems like there's more and so i think that abc canceled her show because of what's coming well then the rumors of the spinoff
37:59Jackie Oshry:being based around jen affleck not not being based saying that they're casting a whole new show out of the nine castmates only one of them is from the original franchise jen affleck but what's weird is that mikaela's been posting that she's moving to california because it's like helping her healing and then macy was like just let me know when we're actually moving like i'll pack my shit So it's like, are they gunning for, are they jumping ship? Like, does the Utah show exist anymore? Yes. It's on pause. We've not heard anything beyond a pause. And like, as long as they don't continue to platform these two crazy people, none of the other girls did anything wrong.
38:30Jackie Oshry:Like, they shouldn't have their show canceled. And there's still a lot there.
38:33Claudia Oshry:They won't film. They were the ones who called for a production. I'm saying, without Taylor and Dakota, they would film. Yeah. I don't know. They asked for, they had a meeting in early March, like, flagging all this stuff. and pretty much like the Hulu executives were like, we don't want to know. Like, seriously. Oh my. Yeah, and that's when they - Seriously, shut up. Yeah, that's what they said. Got it. Yeah, they just wanted to bury their head in the sand and they didn't want to know.
38:57Jackie Oshry:Well, I would respect if they like burned the show to the ground and then never filmed again. Like, I feel like the show's been so bad for them. Their personal lives, their marriages, their families, like literally everything.
39:05Claudia Oshry:So what, they should move to Hollywood and do another show?
39:07Jackie Oshry:No, no, so I'm saying like burn it down and like just go be successful influencers. You can all pay your bills like that. Yeah. And then some. I don't think they should move I think they should stay So did Jen Affleck move to LA? I hope not That's really lame of her Because like It wasn't a good It wasn't a good season for her
39:22Claudia Oshry:No and it wasn't like It didn't seem like they were thriving in LA It was bad for her family
39:25Jackie Oshry:And also like If she's been in LA this whole time Like Has nothing come of it? Like Where's the shows? Where's the bookings? Where's the cameos? Yeah Like Whitney moved to New York And it's boom bop I see her every day She's doing like posts In her Hollywood Reporter article She was featured in Vanity Fair She's doing all these collab posts with these like things are happening yeah her opportunities yeah i don't i don't think this
39:48Claudia Oshry:is like an amazing idea though like spinoffs would be great if they can find like other groups of
39:52Jackie Oshry:women like yes except like there is something inherently interesting about utah there's there it's not a surprise why all of this is happening in utah like it's a sort of and that's what that really turned new york magazine cover with rachel parcel was like trying to allude to there's something just deeply fascinating about mormon culture and yes there is mormon culture in la I'm sure they're going to find Mormon wives in LA, but it's not Utah.
40:13Claudia Oshry:This spinoff is set to be in Orange County. And I think that Orange County is also very, is it? Yeah. There's plenty of things. Oh, I thought you were saying it's a very Mormon. No, no, no. But they don't necessarily have to be Mormon. Say they weren't. Isn't it?
40:25Jackie Oshry:It's a secret lives of Mormon. If it's a spinoff, it could be the secret lives of. I think it's a spinoff. Real housewives of Utah. Real housewives. Like secret lives of Buddhist wives. Oh, they're changing the religion, not the location. Maybe they. Who knows? Interesting. Interesting. I kind of would love Secret Lives of Buddhist Wives Right Please don't do a Jewish franchise Like we don't need that
40:44Claudia Oshry:Please no Please
40:45Jackie Oshry:Please no
40:47Claudia Oshry:Orange County is the source of a lot of inspiration Yes yes The original Real Housewives The OC Laguna Beach Yes
40:55Jackie Oshry:Sorry I thought we were like I thought it was staying Mormon Well then it's just another reality show Sorry like
41:01Claudia Oshry:Another reality show that focuses on young mothers who are influencers We like that Yes and for some reason
41:08Jackie Oshry:bravo has like skipped that generation like real housewives is just older women which is very and has worked for them for a really long time but it's like not really working so much anymore and their attempt to like capture that sort of like erin litchie like child rearing years it's like it like doesn't work and that's not like i love erin litchie yeah they like don't know how to
41:28Claudia Oshry:highlight oh the valley yeah yeah yeah shaz persian style and the city perhaps though i think it's more about divorce. So maybe they are sort of like like leaning into that age because it works so well. I think they're trying to capture what Salamu did. Yeah.
41:43Jackie Oshry:Okay. No, you're right. You're right.
41:44Claudia Oshry:There's potential. All I say has nothing to do with Jen Affleck though. Oh, nothing. She's just a cog. And I want to see Jen and Zach back in Utah. I need to see them like, you know, back. I need everybody besides
41:54Jackie Oshry:Taylor and Dakota. Like I need cameras up now. Like we.
41:58Claudia Oshry:Yeah.
41:58Jackie Oshry:Like how are we not filming?
42:00Claudia Oshry:I want to know how Jace feels

45:18Claudia Oshry:Travis Kelsey signs a$57.7 million contract to return to the Chiefs in 2026, so he is not retiring yet. Travis Kelsey is getting paid a pretty penny to remain with the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2026 NFL season, at least on the surface. He officially signed a contract extension with the Chiefs on March 23rd, a person familiar with the situation, said the deal will be worth a maximum value of$57 million over three years if the full value of Kelsey's deal is realized. He would become the highest paid NFL tight end. in terms of average annual value. However, his deal is backloaded, so it isn't clear how much, if any, of the future year money he will receive.
45:52Claudia Oshry:All that is currently known is that he will make$12 million in guarantees and has$3 million in potential incentives for the 2026 season.
46:00Jackie Oshry:Well, I'm feeling, you know, two ways. Obviously, I think this is very good and hopeful for the future of his relationship. It's not good to just be unemployed when your wife is killing it. It's going to create resentment. It's just bad.
46:11Claudia Oshry:At the outset of your marriage, be unemployed and useless. in a couple years, but you're still in courting mode.
46:18Jackie Oshry:So while I'm hopeful for the relationship, I'm not really hopeful that he's going to slay the house down boots. He didn't. And I don't know why he would then like a year later when he's a year older. But like slay, you know, never give up on your dreams. Yeah.
46:30Claudia Oshry:No, I think it's good. And he's still a great tight end, even if he's not as great as he once was. Yeah.
46:35Jackie Oshry:And that's just exciting also for us. That means like every Sunday, more outfits,
46:39Claudia Oshry:who should bring to the box. Like that's fun. I also imagine it's good for the Chiefs to have him on the team. he's a revenue generator yeah audience sales jerseys like taylor yeah and he's probably getting paid a lot for that yeah in addition to his skill yeah yeah and i think you know what he seems like the sort of person who's not care yeah well that's actually like i want you to see me for
47:00Jackie Oshry:me it's like that's not your dream dad it's mine like what about my talent yeah and i will say that actually i think is what will make him like a good partner it's like she's obviously like a wonderful person but i mentioned it's difficult you know to be married to like a woman who's like no matter who you are, like, she's never gonna, you're never gonna out earn her, earn her, you're never gonna out hustle her, like, that just is who she is, and not everyone could do it, I think it's actually probably been, like, a source of, like, issues in her past relationships, so, like, the fact that he can, like, be fine with that is huge.
47:26Jackie Oshry:He's never gonna, like, look at the 57 million and be, like, what's this for? Right, and, like, the fact that he definitely knows that, like, you know, his, this is actually a really high paying, making him the highest paid, he's not the best tight end, why would you be the highest paid like because it's a lot of things it's image it's PR it's sales it's
47:44Claudia Oshry:jerseys it's viewers it's a lot but it's also not that amount of money unless he like hits of course benchmarks and is the best title right otherwise and then you do deserve otherwise it's just a
47:53Jackie Oshry:measly 12 minute mil a year which is crazy actually because I do think at least maybe not now but at the height of like the whole Travis Kravis not Kravis that's Courtney Tavis I don't like that nickname by the way. Lervis. Yeah I don't like Tavis. I like Lervis. It's also too similar to Kravis and Kravis they did do it first. Travis. It was crazy because even like his last contract which was very well paying was like pennies on top of the commercials that we were watching in between Subway, State Farm, Pfizer. Like insane like 60 million. I heard he got 60 mil or 40 mil for Pfizer like and that's what he was making in like two years.
48:28Jackie Oshry:So he does like need to continue being a football player. So like I understand but it's actually crazy how football is like his smallest form of income.
48:34Claudia Oshry:I think also, even though if he doesn't play well, this will wind up being like a smaller contract, not the biggest for a tight end, but like he gets to lead with this of like biggest contract in tight end history. You know, because I think even though he's easygoing, he still has an ego. Yeah, yeah. We all watch Catching Kelsey. You know, he still wants to be the big dog. So I think that this headline is really good for him even if he doesn't wind up actually earning that. No one's going to follow up. He sounds like, you know, the goat. It's a goaded. Goaded. Goaded.
49:05Jackie Oshry:Bestie. Did you see that the MLB is now on Netflix? That's exciting. I feel like that's huge. Like, no one's talking about that. Yeah, you didn't see it. Like, no one. I actually saw it in a TikTok ad. This guy who, like, paints. It's actually good to know. This guy, like, painted a picture of Aaron Judge, and it was, like, in partnership with Netflix. That's how I found it. And I just thought that was crazy. I don't think it's crazy, but I think it's great. Yeah. Out with the old. I don't know if that means it's exclusively on Netflix. Like it's not going to be on cable ever again. Like that means the World Series.
49:36Jackie Oshry:Definitely not.
49:37Claudia Oshry:No, no, sorry. It's definitely not exclusive to Netflix because even like football is sometimes on YouTube TV. Amazon gets a game. Yeah. It's not exclusive. Okay. There's a million games. Got it.
49:46Jackie Oshry:So you can now also just like, okay, fine. So it's like less of a big deal, but.
49:49Claudia Oshry:But no, that's cool. Yeah. One less reason to have cable.
49:52Jackie Oshry:Yeah.
49:53Claudia Oshry:One small step for streaming kind.
49:55Jackie Oshry:Oh, I caught up in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills while I was sick. Like what else is there to do? I was two episodes behind. the mother god thing like I literally was so excited to hear Erica talk about it it was kind of a first of all I am like 100 % clear on why Natalie got demoted because she had like one scene with a fight and she was like kind of the biggest loser I've ever seen in my life she like really buckled under the pressure and she was like what I don't know what you're talking and she like straight up lied like she did and it was like a frustrating episode to be like team Bo's Dorit because like Bo's did make that joke and like it was mean and like nobody remembered it and they can't understand the joke they're calling her a liar Who's Pinocchio?
50:28Claudia Oshry:No, but they said first it was like she's the one who would wear a mask.
50:31Jackie Oshry:No, that's how Amanda interpreted it because nobody will tell Amanda. Because she wears a mask because she's bigger because of COVID? I was so confused. They don't remember what the joke was. So they're like all sort of paraphrasing and changing it. Whereas they just called her a liar.
50:45Claudia Oshry:Yeah, but I feel like they don't remember. They're not like lying. Bose and Dorit aren't like not telling the truth. They just don't remember. It's just like you can't. An offhand remark. Like remember every single thing that you said. Like it was they make fun of her like they breathe. I don't remember what I said.
50:59Jackie Oshry:And the thing is, it's now sort of looking like they are being mean.
51:02Claudia Oshry:It's only looking like that because it's week after week after week. In reality, it was a span of like four days or whatever. But for us, it's like, wait, you're still hating this girl?
51:10Jackie Oshry:And like Amanda really hasn't done anything. It's just like every time she speaks, everyone hates what she says. And like, I agree. But it is starting to feel like I actually do feel bad for her. And I'm sure they're all like feeling and reading something that we can't see on TV. She must be just like fucking awful. I feel like we can see it.
51:25Claudia Oshry:But it's like we need more. It's intangible. But also it's the way that the show is playing out week after week after week. Yeah. When these are just a consecutive few days. Because I'm like, wait, we're still on Amanda?
51:36Jackie Oshry:And that fucking Kyle. Like she is so nasty in her confessionals. And now it's starting to like happen in real life too. But like up until this point, she's really just been like so mean in her confessionals for no reason. I'm not pretending she's a friend to Dorit. Right. And I just want to say, Dweem team, Dorit Boz and Rachel Zoe. Like I love them so much when they like all got together after dinner. And like Dorit's late. The late thing really Dorit does need to work on. because she's indefensible in that.
51:58Claudia Oshry:Especially when she's not with her kids. Like she's on a trip. Yeah. Get yourself together. If you're trying to get out of the house with your kids and your custody and your everything, fine. But on vacation, get your ass down here. Yeah.
52:09Jackie Oshry:It actually is one of my pet peeves as like a chronically early person. So I actually can't defend her with that. It's obviously being made into a bigger deal because like it's something just Kyle like has to go on and she just like is obsessed with Dorit. But this trip is really fabulous. Like I love watching them shop. Like I need to know like who spend what I need to know what they spent at Dolce. They didn't give us the total.
52:30Claudia Oshry:Those women are crazy though.
52:31Jackie Oshry:Jennifer Tilly. I just love her. I just love her. And Kathy was cracking me up. Oh, not Kathy getting involved. Oh, yeah. When Erica was like, Kathy Hilton telling you to know your place and read the room? I kill myself. It's so true. Kathy's never gotten involved. It's actually crazy that she's getting involved against the side of her sister.
52:49Claudia Oshry:It's not crazy. Don't forget Lisa Rinna. Trying to admit that she slurred.
52:53Jackie Oshry:It's so true. It's actually like Kyle doesn't get enough hate for that. Like that was insane what she did to her own fucking sister.
52:58Claudia Oshry:Yeah. To like try and like. Get your sister canceled. Yeah. Yeah.
53:02Jackie Oshry:Yeah. Kind of crazy.
53:04Claudia Oshry:Really crazy. Our fifth and final story is just some interesting news. The creator of Love Story is hinting at a second season featuring a beloved American couple, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Oh, you were right. Well, just hinting. He just like threw it out there.
53:18Jackie Oshry:So I would love for them to do a series on a couple where there's like a lot known about them. because I do think it's a tough couple for them to have chosen just in terms of getting it right because quite literally nobody knows there's been like two books written about carolyn beset she was like notoriously private we don't even know her personality right and so they're just kind of like making it all up and I will say that has really chipped away at the show for me I caught up um a few nights ago with ben like we were it's dreadful first of all there was like a whole episode of just one argument like it was insufferable so it's just and also and then I'm like watching the show that's sort of like dragging on and I'm like wait it's like not even real no
53:53Claudia Oshry:It's not even real. You're actually getting like bad, false information. It's like, yeah, I would love to learn about JFK and Carolyn Kennedy, but I don't think I want to learn like a fake.
54:01Jackie Oshry:Yeah.
54:02Claudia Oshry:I feel like I'm wasting my time.
54:03Jackie Oshry:I think I'd rather know nothing. Yeah. So I don't even know if I finished it. I don't remember if it was over. Like it's bad. It's just, but the whole concept of like reviving an iconic couple, I really do like the casting. And I think it would be far easier for them to get it right with a couple who was very public, like Elizabeth Taylor. And I do feel like kids these days like need to know about Elizabeth Taylor.
54:22Claudia Oshry:And I also feel like Elizabeth Taylor probably has written memoirs. And she was not like a private person.
54:27Jackie Oshry:And she has children. She has an estate that like runs her TikTok. Like they're always like making videos about her. Like there's a lot of publicly available information. And I think there actually probably would be a lot of people who are still alive willing to speak to their marriage. Good and bad. Yeah.
54:41Claudia Oshry:I think Kim would try and play her.
54:43Jackie Oshry:No, please. That would actually be bad.
54:45Claudia Oshry:That would be really bad.
54:46Jackie Oshry:No, that would. I didn't even think about that. Like, no, no, no.
54:50Claudia Oshry:But, you know, like Ryan Murphy, of course.
54:51Jackie Oshry:and he would love it. Like, I could see him saying yes if Kim was down.
54:55Claudia Oshry:Please, no.
54:56Jackie Oshry:I hate that you put that out there. Like, you need to cut that out.
54:59Claudia Oshry:Don't give anyone any idea. Correct. No, I feel like she's doing all of this acting work to one day. For the dream role. The dream role for her is Elizabeth Taylor. Just like for Ari, it was like Glinda. Yeah. Elizabeth Taylor.
55:12Jackie Oshry:Oh, God.
55:13Claudia Oshry:Yeah. So maybe they shouldn't do. Elizabeth Taylor,
55:17Jackie Oshry:do your thing as forever.
55:19Claudia Oshry:Where was I? Wait. and taylor could sing on the show well then she wouldn't no but kim would taylor wouldn't right right right kim's like yeah we're great yeah all good over it she's like i've forgiven that's my favorite she's holding she's having the cocktail she goes like this over it i've forgiven her for
55:37Jackie Oshry:ruining her life that's like kind of kim's like that's like a huge flop for kim like that interview what do you mean we're like it's so like read the room read like that was not the question What was the question? Like, where are you at with Taylor? Like, still beefing or whatever? And she was like, over it. Yeah, we're good. Kim is over it.
55:56Claudia Oshry:There's nothing for her to be over. This is why she answered her truth. Right. I guess it's easy. It's hysterical. She's like, I've forgiven her. There's nothing for her to forgive. Over it. The only thing that had to be forget, I was actually just thinking about this stupid Kanye thing. Right. Like the made the bitch famous. Yeah. And they're like both arguing different things. And they're both right. in what they said.
56:19Jackie Oshry:What is Kanye arguing? I know what Taylor argues. Like she never consented to be called bitch. And then the music video. Sorry, not the music video. The art installation. Oh yeah, that was disgusting.
56:28Claudia Oshry:I can't, I can't remember my head. Yeah. That was like after. But first he put out the song. Then she put out a speech saying if anybody tries to take credit for your fame, like no, no, no. And then he's like, wait, you said. That I could. That I could. And Kim played the clip where. She's like, oh, I love it. She was like, I love it. Yeah. Taking credit for, I made her famous. The bitch wasn't in there, though. But it was a sentiment. It made her famous. Right. And then Taylor goes, I never said you could call me bitch. It was like, but oh, that's what you were mad about? But you said in the speech it was about the famous.
56:57Claudia Oshry:Right. So they're both like arguing their truths, which are true. Yes. You know? Yeah. Yeah. She did never say she could say bitch. But that's also not what you said you were mad about in the speech. You didn't say, if anybody ever calls you a bitch. Right. Get mad. Get mad, bitch. Where did she make that speech?
57:12Jackie Oshry:It's like ingrained in my mind. Well, at the Grammys. With Calvin Harris. When she won for 1989. nine when you wore the pink yeah um there will be people who try to take credit for your success um but i think that was i thought that was a knock on i made that bitch famous
57:28Claudia Oshry:yeah but at what point in the saga was that that was the beginning oh was it that was that's what set it off okay well i feel like they didn't like need to respond to that because it wasn't like so clearly about kanye oh i feel like it was i don't love to like relive it like the time yeah how many weeks apart did a song come out did you say that right oh at least wow we have and then like the
57:51Jackie Oshry:whole naked body well yeah i don't know they lost video coming out and i'm just dealing with the lyrics yeah yeah yeah you're just hilarious the surface lyrics yeah um so anyways kim's over it
58:02Claudia Oshry:so it's good yeah yeah thank god those are the fast five stories feel well a fast like 10 because
58:08Jackie Oshry:we also had to get turdys take yeah so for the second week in a row dear choasters will be tomorrow just because like we had a lot to do today and didn't want to be bogged down with like rushing through like my Justin Timberlake takes.
58:17Claudia Oshry:100%.
58:18Jackie Oshry:Justin Timber take.
58:19Claudia Oshry:I'm like, I'm happy for Justin Timberlake that he has like a very small W.
58:23Jackie Oshry:No, and he's got Turney on his side. And when Turney's on your side, like just so you know, like you will always lose.
58:28Claudia Oshry:I feel like the last few days he's made himself sick knowing this video is going to come out like the end of his career. And like.
58:34Jackie Oshry:It's literally the least big deal.
58:35Claudia Oshry:The least big deal.
58:36Jackie Oshry:I think videos of him dancing on stage are like more embarrassing. Honestly. Like I've seen more embarrassing videos of Justin Timberlake on stage than I did his DUI. I thought he was like decently respectful. Yeah. He followed the law, even like wasted. And he was like shaking hands. And even when it like really dawned on him the full consequences of his actions right before they literally locked him up for the night, he said, you guys are wild, bro. Like you guys are wild. Yeah. So I really can't be mad. Okay. So happy for Camp Timberlake. Yeah. It's very small win. Long, long road ahead of them.
59:14Jackie Oshry:yes yes
59:16Claudia Oshry:good luck to you yeah long road ahead of them don't drink and drive
59:21Jackie Oshry:right very simple actually
59:23Claudia Oshry:down the long road head right oh
