In short

Extra Shot covers several sports-and-crime oddities. The main football true-crime segment asks whether Celtic boss Martin O’Neill is “serial killer vibes” because he’s a true-crime fan who visited serial-killer sites and watched Peter Sutcliffe’s Yorkshire Ripper trial (May 1981, while O’Neill played for Norwich). It then recounts Norwegian footballer Paul Enger: a midfielder from Vålerenga who turned to organized crime, stealing cars and robbing jewelry shops, then obsessing over Edvard Munch’s The Scream. Key claims/examples: he first stole The Scream in 1988 but grabbed “Vampire” instead; hid it in his pool hall ceiling; later stole The Scream in 1994 during the Lillehammer Olympics using a ladder and recruited a homeless man; left a “thanks for the poor security” note; taunted police with ads and tips; was jailed (6.5 years), escaped in 1999, and was re-caught after wearing sunglasses. The episode also discusses: Louvre crown-jewel heist; Wolves’ Vitor Pereira clashing with fans after a 95th-minute loss; Jorginho’s partner Catherine Hardin’s sardine-juice “smelly prank” viral video; and Australian surfer Ellie-Jean Coffey accused in India of defecating in a sacred lake after a crocodile-infested outback “pissing” video went viral.

Storm. Good energy in, good energy out. Energy for life. Welcome back to Extra Shot, the show about the funniest stories in sport. This week on the show today, the midfielder who stole the second most famous painting in the world, and Australian surfers despicable deed outrages India. And is new Celtic boss Martin O 'Neill a serial killer? My name's Jack. Hello, Zach. Hello, JP. Buongiorno, Jack. All the big names on the sofa today.

52And speaking of big names, yeah, Martin O 'Neill's back in management. Mental. Biggest name in football for me. We had a recent Patreon where I was talking about the fact that I want to see him back in management. And lo and behold, it's happened. Yeah. It was a bit of a surprise. He hasn't managed a team for like six years, is it? Yeah. He's a wonderful manager. I think it was 2019 he managed Forest for a season or less. Wait, is he interim? Yeah, he's keeping it warm, as he says. Martin O 'Neill, I've mentioned this to Patreon listeners, he's a big true crime head. But like, to quite a sinister degree.

26so he used to visit crime scenes from serial killings so like 10 Rillington Place was a famous series of murders yeah the Christie murders I think it's called yeah he visited there and he used to sit in courtrooms watching murderers get sent down he queued up to watch Peter Sutcliffe's two week trial the Yorkshire Ripper and I checked the date so Martin O 'Neill was it was in May 1981 Martin O 'Neill was playing for Norwich who were in a relegation battle at the time no wonder though did he have a bad leg that day yeah he just went and watched the Ripper trial and much like the Ripper Norwich went down that's quite I guess what you do in your free time is yeah maybe it helps you switch off yeah sort of ahead of his time really because now there's such an obsession with true crime I guess it was kind of always like that instead of TV we were saying that he's sort of serial killer vibes I think he's massively serial killer vibes yeah I think he's detective.

24I made this point before. Yeah, because he's this sort of studious professor with little thin-rimmed glasses. No, but I think that's what he wants you to think. I think he's... The glasses are quite serial killer. And the deadpan voice. He never fucking smiles. Nah, for me he's the detective. I picture him saying no comment 130 times in a row. Yeah, I see him more in like long trench coat interrogating somebody with a real just like just staring them down where are you? he's that hero at the night in question well anyway if the Celtic lads are wondering where he is this morning when they're about to do their shuffle runs he's nipped down for Rose West's pearl hearing sorry boys it's a biggie can't miss this one yeah speaking of crime see the story on everyone's lips last week

23last week was the Louvre heist which you know is a mad story these thieves got a ladder went up to the window smashed the gallery made off with the French crown jewels so basic it's highly plain sight yeah I like it it's crazy well actually we'll come on to it in a bit but it reminded me of another famous heist involving a sportsman so in 1994 a promising Norwegian footballer broke into the National Gallery in Oslo and stole Edvard Munch's The Scream. You know the painting. Oh, I know. Of course. One of the most famous paintings in the world. We're looking at a picture of it now. I would say second most famous.

02Mona Lisa. Mona Lisa. After the Mona... Yeah, I think I'm with you. So the thief went by the name of Paul Enger, and he was from a pretty rough neighborhood in Oslo. Came through the youth ranks at Norwegian giants Valarenga in the mid-80s. and he was a good player midfielder played in the top flight for them turned out in the uefa cup as well but while he was on track to make it to the top of norwegian football he was climbing even faster through the ranks of the criminal underworld so he fell in with this gang in his neighborhood who were involved in organized crime um his teammates apparently would be surprised when he'd rock up to training in these fast sports cars, rocking this designer jewellery.

50Turned out he'd nicked the cars and robbed jewellery shops. Also got done for blowing up ATMs. Wow. So as you can imagine, with extracurricular activities like that, football started to fall by the wayside a little bit. And while robbing cars was fun, he sort of had his sights set on something higher. in particular one idea stealing the scream painting so so he'd been obsessed with this painting ever since he was a child he went on a school trip to see it and since then he'd visited the national museum twice a week every week to just to just to look at this one painting probably lost his mind do you think he was properly into art or he was always just thinking he wants to Robert?

37Yeah I mean he was just obsessed with this one painting really that was all he'd go he just went to the galleries supposedly it has sent a few people mad that painting hasn't it? Yeah I think there is a slightly dark underside to it I think he had like an abusive stepfather and this painting resonated with how he felt basically but anyway he became really obsessed with it and in 1988 when he was 21 he made his first attempt to see that So actually much like the Louvre thieves, he just used a ladder to get up to the window of the gallery. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Exactly. Window. It is broke.

18Yeah, got this ladder up, smashed the window and went in to steal it. Middle of the day kind of vibe. No, I think it was in the night. But he made a miscalculation and he ended up in the wrong gallery. So went in and was like, fuck, where is it? and obviously he's pushed for time. The alarms are going off and so instead he just grabs another one of Moke's paintings called Vampire. Okay, it was a monk. It was an Edmund Moke, yeah. Shit. Might as well chuck the Ralph. Yeah, so you know, obviously he's a bit disappointed. He hasn't got the painting that he was after but it's still a nice one and he decides to keep it and hides it in the ceiling of this pool hall that he owns and this pool hall was a bit of a favorite spot for these off-duty policemen who go after their shift go shoot some shoot some balls and paul even starts offering the policeman free entry to his pool bar because he gets a real kick out of them coming in after their shift they're in the bar you know they're chatting about this big case of the the stolen painting from the museum it's And little do they know, it's hanging a meteor above their head.

31That's great. He's a bit of a twisted cookie, isn't he? Yeah. He really, you have to root for him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like a movie. Yeah. Eventually he is caught actually and jailed for three years. And while he's inside, you know, some people might study for a degree or, you know. Teach you other mentioned. Think about turning their life around. Instead, he spends his time plotting how to steal the scream again when he gets out. Oh, he's undeterred. No, he's undeterred. And he's going back for it. And when he eventually does get out, he manages to revive his football career for a bit. He goes back to that.

04He plays for a team in the Norwegian third division. It's all really just a stopgap, though, until he can pull off the big heist. And he sees his opportunity in 1994 when Norway hosts the Winter Olympics. And his calculation is that, yeah, it's a big event. The police are going to be preoccupied. so on the night of the opening ceremony when the whole police force is is over in lila hammer at the national stadium he goes back to the national gallery to steal the painting again and he employs the exact same mode of entry clearly they haven't improved their security he just uses a ladder goes up to smash the window the only difference this time it's not him doing it he's recruited a homeless man and an associate of his to do it for him clever boy yeah yeah and this time he's he's calculated everything perfectly they get into the the exact right gallery grab the scream and make off with it it's valued at 55 million dollars wow at this point i think now it's worth even more um and he actually he also leaves behind a postcard with a note on the back that reads thanks for the poor security.

17He really likes rubbing them up. He really does. He's got a bit of Jack the Ripper about it. Taunting him. It gets worse. So obviously, given his track record of stealing Edvard Munch paintings from the National Gallery in Oslo, attention immediately turns to him. The police call him in for questioning. But he knew this was going to happen and he's confident that they have no evidence on him. He's so confident, in fact, that when his baby son is born a few weeks later, he takes out an ad in a national newspaper announcing the birth. And the text says that his son has come into the world with a scream.

00Oh my God. He also, he'd also call up police with anonymous tip-off saying that the painting was hidden in his car and then he'd watch them swoop on it and obviously find nothing. So he's tormenting them. Has he hidden? Where is it hidden? It's hidden. I don't know where he hid it this time, actually. Not in the car. Not in the car. And eventually, you know, Norwegian police are at their wits end with this and they end up drafting international colleagues who go undercover and end up catching Paul Enger's associate who leads them to him. So he's been done for it. They recover the painting and he's jailed this time for six and a half years.

43I think it was the biggest sentence. It doesn't feel like the long. No, this was the biggest sentence for an art theft. Really? Yeah. Wow. Wasn't the highest security prison he was in. In 1999, he escapes. He's in a low security prison and he just escapes from it. And while he's on the run, he keeps on giving interviews to TV stations and to newspapers. And the police are just infuriated. They can't find him. Eventually, he's rearrested after attracting attention by wearing sunglasses late at night. that old chest which is looking shifty standing on bridges you could steal the second most famous painting in the world but it's the sunglasses that brought him down don't wear those lenses at night yeah and after that he does eventually get out kind of continues doing low level crime bit of robbing here and there he's back in jail in 2007 actually takes up painting himself he has his own exhibition oh yeah I suppose when you rob that many you might as well yeah learn how to do it yeah i mean stealing is still really his passion though actually as late as late as 2015 he was charged again after stealing 17 paintings from a gallery in oslo 17 17 this time let me guess broke the window yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah pretty rude one for him uh but yeah he's he became a bit of a celebrity in norway like this after all these cases really because it's i feel like art theft it's quite a romantic crime isn't it all of that sort of stuff the great train was it great yeah gold heist people love them but what I don't get is so when you do the like the Louvre one for example they're just going to melt it down and sell break the diamonds up but with an Edvard Munch painting how the fuck are you selling that was it even about the money for him or was he just obsessed with it no I don't think it was I don't think he was even planning to sell it I think he was just obsessed with it to possess it and he liked the fact they were looking for him yeah sometimes you'll get like a bent collector that's willing to pay for you to go and do it.

42But that painting's too famous. That's too famous, yeah. Way too famous. But I think that's part of why this case captured the public imagination so much. He wasn't doing it for the money, he was just doing it because he loved this painting. Quite a Halloween-y story for us, actually, because there's a spookiness to the screen. And to Norway in general, I would argue. I'm creeped out. And to his psychological state. Yeah, he actually died last year, sadly. and the chairman of Valeringa, his old club, did a bit of an obituary. He said, while he was not the best soccer player, he was the best criminal.

17So that's the path he chose to take. Do you think all the galleries that he robbed in Norway went to the funeral to pay their last race? Yeah, it's like an Insta post. So his coffin was actually draped with a fabric with the scream on it.

35Took it to his grave. wow that's so good have they upped their security system in his honour I imagine the art gallery is having all the fucking lasers usually they do but like coming back to the Louvre I can't believe they literally just got this was while the museum was open they just got a cherry picker up and had like high vis jackets and just smashed the windows and went in and stole the crown jewels yeah how the hell is it not is the Louvre thing a bit of that thing that like if you look like you're supposed to be there yeah a bit like that Stanley Milgram experiment where they got people to electrocute each other yeah because you look like a figure of authority people just like yeah and also sometimes just doing it so blatantly in broad daylight yeah it looked like they'd be cleaning the windows or something what happened when the windows broke though surely that would have triggered some kind of imagine it was just some like dozing usher on like a chair in the corner just like nodded off with their like cucumber sandwich in the box Mr Bean he works in an art gallery in the Bean film that's who you're dealing with yeah wasn't it like a marketing girl that was like video recording the cherry picker oh really yeah it was like someone in head office was like is that cherry picker supposed to be are they are they are they replacing the they're just replacing the windows yeah they're just taking the paint out yeah oh they're running uh oh oh fucked yeah I don't know it's hard not to root for them yeah oh god with it but like the case like this because obviously they stole what was it like a crown or some like some jewellery and because it's such it's so glamorous really stealing these things you're picturing them in a casino in Monte Carlo just putting putting it all on black whereas I think in fact they've probably already been melted down right now crunch up those diamonds into tiny ones yeah did you see the the detective the guy they're saying is the detective yeah this is so this picture go around Sherlock Sherlock Hermes yeah so for people not watching on YouTube we're looking at a picture so it's like all the police on the police line around the Louvre and then this guy and he's got he's got a waistcoat suit tie he's got he's holding an umbrella and then he's got his hat what is that type of hat a fedora a fedora yeah but it's even tipped over one eye he could not look more like a detective out of central casting do you think he's gone there to try and get papped or is he just generally a very well dressed French gentleman apparently he I don't think he was the detective he was just a passerby yeah no just a random guy he looks like he is a sleuth he's just a cigarette in the mouth a pipe in the mouth is always missing there.

04Tobacco pipe. Very well-dressed gentleman. So good. Yeah. That's a great case. Haven't some of them already been caught? Yeah, they arrested. Charles de Gaulle's, right? Yeah, they arrested them at Paris Airport. What the hell are you doing? Okay, you could go into Europe. Yeah, you're in France. Just get a train. Just drive to, yeah, you can, you can just open borders. You can just drive, drive to like Albania and get a flight from there. They pick the one place there of order checks. Like, what the fuck? Do you reckon? at least go at least go stay go to like a small provincial airport in France to fly out from there rather literally Paris airport but at least you just drive all the way to yeah like somewhere far away in Europe and you've literally done the hard bit right it kind of makes me question them because everyone's like it's so clever just route one but it's like actually maybe they've just got that thing of like they're such simple blokes they were like let's just smash and grab it they were just thinking like on a Sunday night like fuck it should we just go judging by their escape plan but have they caught all of them no I think two of them have been caught how do they know it's there yeah but it'll be dominoes now it'll be absolute dominoes what do they turn on each other of course they're great train guys I don't think did yeah but that's like fucking 1950s English gangsters what are you saying there was honour among thieves of course but I guess there's a few how do they even know that they've done it have they found stuff on them yeah I think they left behind some gloves or something eBay listing come on guys eBay listing brand new with tags 18th century crown warm once

33despite a may show signs of superficial wear and tear come on lads better than that back in the Premier League it was another tough weekend at the office for the Wolves gaffer Vitor Pereira so they lost they lost a thriller to Burnley on the weekend 3-2 last minute winner 95th minute and that means Wolves are they're rooted to the bottom of the Premier League they've only got two points real fall from grace isn't it yeah and after the game Pereira had to be dragged away from a fight with his own fans so the fans were singing you're getting sacked in the morning his own fans and we've got a clip here which I'll link to it's like hammering his fist into his palm in anger and then he moves towards it's never a good look is it it's never a good look but I do love the fact that he's all or nothing in it yeah really because also the thing the fans are complaining about it's no passion which is just what people always complain about when you don't get results and I guess he's trying to show passion what's he hammering his hand in his fist for just to be like oh fuck it he's just trying to get his point across yeah what is his point it's a far cry from when he joined so we talked about back in April cast your mind back to those heady spring days there was blossom on the trees it got dark at 7.30 in the evening and Vitor Pereira had hauled wolves out of the relegation scrap they won six in a row Yeah, he rescued them.

59And do you remember he went on this tour of black country pubs, mostly Weatherspoons, where he'd just be pictured boozing and dancing with fans while they chanted. Man and the people. You've got a clip actually of him conducting some cheers, the Aztec fruity machine in the background.

23It's the ultimate in how it started, how it's going. now he's just hammering his fist into his hand and being pulled away yeah it's now been six months since Wolves won in the Premier League that's pretty much since then isn't it are we thinking he's gone yeah I mean we are recording this on a Wednesday they're playing Chelsea tonight need a win there he's also just signed a massive new deal he's got a new contract really recently so yeah I think they should give him a bit more of a chance but didn't he sign a new deal when they were on the slide as well Yeah, at the start of the season, they'd already lost four or something.

00Come on, lads. Yeah. Do you remember when he was doing all the pubs and it was all fun? He coined a catchphrase, which was first points, then pints. So yeah, he must be gasping at this point. It's been good for his liver, this form. Yeah, not a jug of woo-woo in sight. He actually wasn't the only one clashing with the fans at Molineux. So the goalkeeper, José Sarr, was driving out of the ground. And you know when your club's doing badly, the fans sort of wait for the players to drive past and hammer on the car and shout at them. But Jose got out and started arguing with them. And there's a pretty good clip of that as well.

40It's quite heated. Yeah, it's really heated. You are right. We don't see enough passion on the bench. But I'm trying to... I quite rate the fact he's got out of the car. I rate it. And so do the fans. They actually end up applauding him. Which I also find so weird. That's how you turn an audience. Yeah. He basically said, they're like, players don't give a shit. And he's like, I'm trying. Yeah. I'm as annoyed as you are. Is he then being like, I'm just the goalkeeper? Yeah, kind of. Also just being like, I give a shit. Yeah. But it's just that thing of like, it's a bit like when you're in the pub during an England game and a tournament and they're always like, where's the passion?

18Play quicker. Yeah. Don't pass it back to the keeper. Quicker, quicker.

27but yeah they wanted passion and to be fair Saar did show passion there he's not going for it unfortunately he's not showing much passion to his wife so in the same clip he said he's like trying to explain to them how much he cares and he goes when we lose I go home I don't speak to my wife you know why? because I'm sad we are playing shit so yeah he clearly cares yeah poor wife yeah just not speaking to her that's quite a nice insight into Premier League footballers Because sometimes people do think they leave their work at expression. Yeah. Good to be passionate. Yeah. I kind of feel like to be a professional footballer, you have to be so intensely competitive that you are going to be someone who lets it take over your life.

12But people, that's not the public perception, I think. People just go, there's no passion. Yeah, exactly. Go quicker. Good on him. So there are a few worse things and a bit of silent treatment from your missus, as Jorginho found out this week. So he's now applying his trade for Flamengo in Brazil, and he's moved his family and his new missus, Catherine Hardin, over. And it looks, in general, like they're having a lovely time. You know, they're out on the beach, dining in some lovely restaurants, etc. Is it Rio? I think they're near Rio, yeah. And I'm unsure whether Catherine is bored or maybe she's looking for a new career, maybe posting some niche videos on the internet.

57But she posted a video this week of her spreading sardine juice on her private parts to her 90 ,000 Instagram followers. What, is it just like the water in the can? Yeah, I'll let that sink in. God forbid I go have hobbies, Jackie. The pause you left after the word spreading was really worried there. Right, so the vid starts of her in a changing room and we see a slight pan out and she opens a tin of sardines and sort of massages the oil with her index fingers and then proceeds to sort of rub the juice on the area close to her lady garden and trousers. Well, like over the trousers. Over the trousers.

39Over the crotch. Maybe a bit on the crotch. She then gives her fingers a good smell, like a gags. and then the camera then pans out to poor Jorginho in the living room where he's just sort of sitting on the sofa and I think that maybe she said that she wants to do some gymnastics with him or something. Anyway, she then starts doing some manoeuvres on Jorginho and manages to get herself up onto Jorginho's shoulders. So she's basically sitting on Jorginho's shoulders and her crotch is very close to Jorginho's nose. Now, if this couldn't get any more weird, Jorginho's kids are also involved. So I think she's told the kids that week that mummy's going to play the smelly fish prank on Jorginho.

30And we've got a photo of it here. Oh, it's like a handstand, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But she must have good abs because she kind of gets herself right up. Anyway, Jorginho being the disciplined midfield general that he is manages to go through this whole thing kind of deadpan despite the situation absolutely honking. And then after five minutes, she reveals that, you know, can you smell anything, honey? And she's like, no, you smell great. And then she's like, I've got sardines down my trousers. And it's like, okay. Anyway, she then, he then excurses, oh, baby, I'm dying. And it's like, oh, oh, God.

08And then it's like, I think that's quite a bloke code. Like, thank fuck for that. He shared a dressing room with John Terry, so it's probably missed all sorts of smells. Is he relieved when he realises it's a prank? Yeah, I think he's like, and the kids are like laughing and stuff like that. And it's quite a weird one because after the prank finishes, she then gets the kids to smell her trousers as well. Right. Which is a bit of family banter. Does sardines smell that bad? I don't know. It's fishy. I don't know. But so done a bit of digging and basically this is a new viral TikTok prank. Ah, okay.

40Okay. She's lost her mind. Yeah. currently at 96 million views on TikTok and the gag is basically to trick your partner her video has got 96 no the kind of combined views on this hashtag yeah and the gag is to trick your partner into thinking that you've got a smelly downstairs and then the reveal is hasn't done much in the UK yet but knowing the internet it will be here in due course have you tried it yet how are your handstands I'm not sure if it works for blokes but yeah why not what's the worst outcome in that video is for him to be like actually I have been meaning to talk to you about this some months good entry point yeah glad you're raising it down do you think this is going to start to become like a shortcut for people who sell their underwear online to yeah maybe just a quick one rather than having to go through the fuss of having to wear them for a whole day you can just just buy a whole pack of underwear and just post them straight off sufficiency I did see a few people on TikTok doing it to their mums which is a bit weird.

41How are you how are you getting your mum to smell your crotch? Do a handstand. Do a handstand. Do a handstand and then climb up the top of them. That's what Jorginho's up to in Brazil. Yeah, I think they look like they're having a great time. She's keeping busy. He did look relieved when she told him it was Saturday to be fair. I guess she would be but yeah. Actually speaking of niche videos on the internet I was chatting to you know the live recording we did recently with the Patreon guys I was chatting to Alex, one of the guys there, he's in cyber security and he said that you know all the UK porn sites, you have to do a face you basically have to take a photo of yourself right before you wank.

23It's like that, I want to have a wank I want to have a wank, please can I please have a wank photo? I think you'd be more angry, wouldn't you? Just me holding my passport, like come on! And I was thinking like, obviously that's going to get hacked and apparently already it's been hacked. Really? The faces of wank are already like the hackers have got them and that's not what they're doing, blackmailing people. If you are wondering about who's monitoring your online browsing, then NordVPN can do you a solid because it lets you switch your location to anywhere you want. There's some pretty good little tricks you can pull with it to get content that isn't available in your region.

01Let's say. So then you can stream your favorite shows, sport, whatever. And got a discount for Upshot listeners and viewers what are we giving people four extra months on a two year deal with NordVPN and a 30 day money back guarantee yeah that's great I think you know you know you should you know you should take us up on that is the the Louvre heist yeah not let him know if you just pretend that you're in Peru flogging the the crown jewels already yeah when you're doing your eBay upload yeah don't set it to France yeah don't set it from Charles de Gaulle yeah China somewhere far away. Yeah. Yeah, definitely.

42They're not up to date with that kind of technology. They don't strike me as NordVPN guys, no. Based on the fact they got caught in an airport. Yeah. It's very hard to work out if they're geniuses or not. Complete idiots. What can we follow in the case? I think they're just four lads that have had a bright idea on a Sunday evening and it was like, right, let's just... Should we go to steal the French crown jewels? And they did. It's going to be a good movie, actually. Anyway, yeah, NordVPN. You can get it. NordVPN.com forward slash upshot. There's a link in the description box as well. So you can follow that and yeah, then you can browse freely without any of the checks.

18You know what I mean? Wink. Now, when Australian surfer Ellie Jean Coffey hung off the back of a six foot schooner and peed into a lake in the outback, the worst she was expecting was a hungry snap from a nearby crocodile. She certainly did not expect to become public enemy number one in India, where she was accused of shitting in one of the country's most sacred lakes. So basically, Ellie Jean, she's quite well-known in the surfing world. She's sort of doing the competitor slash influencer thing. She's an OnlyFans model, isn't she? Yeah. Influencer. She's an online digital creator. Like ourselves.

06She's an artist. Like ourselves, she's an artist. Is she full-on OnlyFans vibe? I think so, yeah. I don't know how I know. Yeah. I don't know how I know, Jake. Once you know the details of the story, it probably isn't a huge shock, but she's basically doing this trip across Australia. The world's biggest soccer tournament has arrived, and you can trade the entire tournament on Kalshi. On Kalshi, you can trade every match from the opening stage all the way to the final. 32:55and uh on one of them she went on a boat ride with a friend in the western australian outback like really remote and she needed a piss on this boat so she just like you know how like people do sometimes you hang off the boat because it's crocodile infested water you can't just jump in like you're doing like margate or something you will get eaten and there was a crocodile in the clip i'll show you the clip and she posted it being like oh the croc almost got me it's a bit have a weird thing to post online it's her pissing off a boat but i think the crocodile's sort of interesting there it is lurking waiting so do you reckon this is sort of clickbait anyway like she's trying to get more followers and stuff yeah i think it's like it's like um perv bait yeah yeah but i read that she was on this trip with her family as well yeah like her dad and a bit weird to do that in front of your dad yeah that's just a wee guys we all do them yeah i think the crocodile made it quite funny video.

49Obviously there were some quite weird replies from her OnlyFans pals. A lot of them were basically along the lines of, I wish I was the crocodile. I was going to say, I wish I was the lake. Yeah, no, there was one saying that. A lot of that sort of vibe. Yeah, the piss goblin popped up in the comments. He was the crocodile. And yeah, and then obviously you can imagine in the DMs it was even weirder. But then some even weirder ones started popping up. Basically along the lines of you have no respect I'm going to kill you because an Indian Instagram page, massive page took the clip and re-shared it but they changed the caption and they put American tourist pooping into a lake in Udaipur and in the caption they described it as a sacred and scenic site and added can she be deported?

39So basically saying this is like a holy site, there are these lakes near Udaipur that are like yeah so this was sacrilegious yeah and obviously all hell broke loose so soon she was going viral in India she starts getting death threats there were calls for her to be like arrested and imprisoned deported she ended up posting online being like I'm Australian I've never been to India you can't deport me this is happening in Australia I'm not there yeah but the damage was sort of done because it was already going viral and the even when she did the denial the Indian press sort of made it look like she was guilty so the I think it was the Hindustan Times the headline was Australian woman refutes claims she defecated in a daipur lake sort of makes it sound like she did it it's like influencer forced to deny didn't do it do you think India one of the most scary places to become public enemy number one yeah there's so many people there's a lot most populous country on earth yeah generally they get quite angry yeah and also you've picked religion to offend people about yeah Yeah, don't do that.

45There were a lot of Indians in the comments being like, loads of people shit in the lakes. Yeah. Basically being like, what's the big deal? Yeah. I mean, if it's a sacred lake, I'd say a number one is obviously better than a number two. That's what she was like. By the way, it was a number one. I'm at pains to point that out. I mean, yeah, maybe this is what happens when you upload videos of yourself pissing. There were some people then being like, doesn't matter where the lake is, it's disrespectful. Yeah. Which I think is. Yeah. Anyway, the headlines, the Indian headlines are probably still better than the Daily Star who just straight up made it sound like she did it.

20It was just, surfing's Kim Kardashian gets death threats after pooping in Sacred Lake. Straight to the point. You can't just say, they've put pooping in Sacred Lake in quote marks. Yeah, they did. Which is, that is like... Yeah, the old quote mark trick. Yeah. But like, you read that headline. I mean, I clicked, that's why we're talking about it. I'm doing my rounds of the Daily Star. there was another Aussie site as well that did truth behind Aussie woman's viral poo video I didn't poo yeah it must be quite annoying when you like from now on if you google her name that's what's coming up but surely this is her this was her end game I was about to say this could not have gone better for her really yeah you know because like I mean we are now talking about her yeah JP subscribed to her sounds like he was already subscribed to be fair on the lake

13my only disappointment about the whole story is normally when you become public enemy number one in india the insults are really good because they've just got a different set of insults to us yeah like i only really know this through cricket but last year england toured india and they they beat them in the first game and the indian fans like turned on their own team they were burning pictures of the captain some mental blokes and uh i in the comments online two of my favorite insults I saw. One was they called Rohit Sharma the captain a motherfucking son of a jackal. And the team were described as overpaid bandicoots.

45So good. I looked up like bandicoots and jackals, they're just vermin. It's like being called a rat. Overpaid bandicoots is great. Bandicoots is so good. I've never come across a bandicoot outside of Crash Bandicoot. I didn't realize they're a real animal. In Australia and also there's a form of rat in India that's a bandicoot. I think that's right. Yeah. Not related. Not just your childhood video game. No. You love to play that. Just running through kicking boxes. Now, there comes a time in every professional athlete's career when it is time to give up the ghost. And for some, it's a recurring groin injury.

23For others, it's the birth of their first child. So will somebody please give boxer Jake Pollard a bell and tell him that his time might be up? because poor old Jake made it to a century this weekend. A century of defeats, that is. So Jake's professional record now stands at 1-100. It's 1-1. 1-1 match. Lost 100. 100 bouts. How is he still getting matches? It's a very good question. Yeah, he's lost four bouts this month alone. Which is insane. Are these professional fights? I don't know who's putting him up for these fights or why he keeps signing up. It is a thing, isn't it, in boxing, that like you just sometimes want like a practice match.

06Yeah, well he's just like a meat puppet to beat. A tomato can, I think is the term. God, that's awful. Unless you're there, you're just a stooge to beat, collect a bit of purse, like keep it all ticking over. Bit of a confidence boost before your big fight. Apparently boxers who only fight easy opponents are called canned crushers.

26But yeah, he's at 1 to 100 now. His single win came in his 50th fight which was over two years ago god you'd be guided if you were the geezer that lost it he then beat him in a rematch so yeah although if it was his 50th fight he's actually due another he's due he's due a win any day how old is he don't know actually wait so is he full-time professional boxer he's a professional boxer he's getting like high profile fights so this this hundred well his hundred first fight hundredth defeat he was on the undercard for how old is he he's 33 he's 33 but the fight was on the undercard for look at his forehead poor bloke looks like he's got a battery in it he's taken a lot of punches hasn't he wow but yeah this latest fight was on the undercard for Fabio Wardley against Joseph Parker at the weekend which was like big fight so Fabio Wardley won and he's now facing Usyk for the heavyweight title so this is this these are like high profile fight nights that he's don't worry if you miss Jake's fight because he's fighting again tomorrow and every night and on Friday yeah I don't know I mean on one hand it's like surely at some point you can kind of see that maybe you're not cut out for professional boxing but at the same time it's like I do respect him for sticking to it yeah absolutely I suppose if he's still getting a payday out of it as well yeah I don't know what he's doing for his long term I was about to say as long as I'm in health.

58Does he get knocked out a lot or is it like point stuff? I don't know. He bit both. He likes both. Everything's fine. I did see on his page we just looked at it and said KO percentage zero. Because I think he won his one fight on points. It was his birthday. I think he's now along with Fraser Clarke obviously my favourite boxer. Get him on the undercard Fraser if you're listening. Yeah. Keep on going. Wow. I've also started getting excited for the Wild Darts Championship. Yeah, we need to go. Yeah. If anyone has an angle for getting tickets, then please do. I think you've already done that with Oasis.

39You do this every week. Stop milking your fucking podcast. If anyone has a fucking ticket for me. No, come on. I'd love to go. Yeah, we go. Any day. I'm looking forward to seeing the Australian Tim Pussy, who's set to make his debut this year. although Tim has just had the devastating news that he's been banned from using his nickname The Magnet so good he's known as Tim The Magnet Pussy that doesn't even work that's just so good it's meant to be like Tim Pussy The Magnet that also doesn't work yeah I saw his name's Pussy you don't need Magnet yeah I saw Ray Parler and Ali McCoy were batting around some new nicknames for him today the other day they were calling him the Brazilian sardine or octo octo yeah that's nice and clean yeah but looking forward to seeing him and what other new nickname he comes up with and actually before we go you know we were talking the other week about Donald Trump meeting Sheikh Mansour a few weeks back and just as he was like sitting next to him he's just like this guy a lot of cash so much cash so much cash anyway I saw a video this week of him meeting Erdogan the Turkish Turkish leader and obviously he ended up talking about his favourite topic about how the election that he lost to Biden was rigged and this is what he said to Erdogan unfairly as it turns out rigged election you know he knows about rigged elections better than anybody

17he knows about rigged elections I love how Erdogan just looks back at him like completely blankly. Yeah. He knows about rigged elections. He just says whatever. I love it. Whatever comes into his head. Mental. Great place to end, I think. Yeah. We're going over to Patreon where we are concluding the wild saga of the Kentucky Colonel. Colonel Sanders, the man who brought KFC to the world. He's got an absolutely mental life. I'd like to do that as like a film or a mini documentary at some point. It's fucking nuts. So if you're not really a member, patreon.com forward slash Upshot Towers. both parts are on there right now otherwise we're back on Tuesday for the rest of the Silvio Berlusconi saga and it gets a lot seedier in part two it really does it's Bunga Bunga time alright thanks guys pleasure as always thanks a lot thank you
