1:17This week, on the show today, Michailo Mudrick is banned again. Todd Bowley's Epstein meetings. and Lewis Hamilton finally gets with the girl in the year above. This is coming out to everyone, this extra shot. This is what we took from them. This is what is on Patreon every week. But now and then, about once a month, we're giving it to everyone because we're not complete money-grabbing cunts. Give you a little tip bit. Contrary to some of the comments made at the time. So yeah, hope you enjoy this. Is someone going to mention the elephant in the room? Which is, I could barely get to work this morning because the fucking paps were harassing me so much.

1:57Yeah, your cameo, you've been... Yeah, so I had my cameo on HBO and BBC show industry this week. Seen by millions, I imagine. How is life post-cameo? It's, I sort of get what Diana was going through now, yeah. I very rarely give you any, like, sort of positive feedback, but your one line was pretty good, mate. I think it was fucking bad, actually. Can we watch the clip? Is the phrase, PowerPoint, powered by Tinder, so prominent on the UI? Whitney cleared that. this is his brainchild has been for some time. Okay. I like that the top comment there is, is that the best take? I now realise acting is fucking hard.

2:35Yeah. Should we talk about some actual sport? Yeah, go on then. Got you a story about our old pal, Michailo Mudrick, the Chelsea, disgraced Chelsea winger, who he's been having a miserable time really because he's been banned since December 2024. 14 or 15 months. Yeah. And it's a bit confusing. Like he's been charged, but I don't think there's been any like conclusion on when he's banned till. He failed a drugs test. That's obviously why. So it's been pretty tough for him. Although there was one upside, which he could focus on his true passion in life, which is slaughtering noobs in Counter-Strike 2.

3:09He's a big gamer. So he's got a profile on the site FaceIt, which is like a site to play against other people. And since he was banned, he's racked up about 700 games. I suppose he has got a lot of time on his hands. Yeah, I mean, a lot of time, I think a game is roughly about an hour. So on that assumption, he's done a month of straight gaming. Good to know he's looking after himself while he's been in it. 15 % of all time, including time he should be asleep, is gaming. Sitting there fucking eating Pop-Tarts gaming. Yeah. Pissing into an old water bottle. I mean, yeah, he's got a lot of spare time on his hands.

3:46I imagine like even as a footballer, you've got your afternoons always free because they all love gaming, right? Yeah. I mean, I guess he's doing other games as well. This is just Counter-Strike. He's got a 1.2 kill-death ratio, if you're wondering. That is good. Really cool. But now, poor old Mikhail has been banned from this as well. What's he going to do now? So it emerged in the gaming world. My sources in the basements of their mum's houses, the Upshore Sticky Sofa Bureau, have informed me that he's serving a 28-day ban for toxicity on FaceIt this gaming platform isn't that sort of a given on those things like I remember my my little brother was very into gaming for a while and he he made like a YouTube streaming channel and he was about 13 at the time and I stumbled across it on YouTube and there was like there were words that he was using that I had never even heard just like the swear word thing yeah It was like just constant, just like weird abuse.

4:56Yeah. I mean, our producer Jack, who's not pictured on screen or mic'd up, you are a member of the sofa masturbator community. And you informed me that, yeah, it's like anything goes on these platforms. Like people are, it's like 4chan-y kind of. There's racism, all that stuff. But Mudrik crossed the line. So basically he lost to some Polish guys, some sort of clan of Polish blokes. and they started taunting him saying, go play football and do less drugs. Root one. Know how to get him. Not that offensive. And Muldryk in his sort of rage quit, red mist responded by referencing Volinya, which was a massacre of Poles by Ukrainians in World War II.

5:38Pretty bad. Doesn't do himself any favors. He said to them, you so bad. And then he said, lucky Volin, Volin next map. I think you can actually play on a related map or something. so anyway yes it's your classic bit of terrifying eastern european ethnic tension on a gaming platform but he got banned for it um i don't know what the process is there of how you actually get banned but we're looking at his profile which is mudrick one so i did check because i was like maybe this is fake but mudrick has previously posted pictures of himself playing with that username looking at pictures so he just goes under the name mudrick on on this yeah like If that was me, I'd want to like keep a bit more of a low profile.

6:19Yeah. Yeah. Keep your, keep your business and pleasure. But I think it's like a flex, isn't it? It's like an Instagram handle or whatever. You like want followers. You want to show off. Like he definitely, he's definitely going for that rather than like, oh, they caught, caught me being me. Yeah. If you're a celeb on the platform, it's probably quite fun. Yeah. Yeah. Surely you could just create a new account if you get banned and play again. Or do you really need the account? Yeah. Well, you've got your history. Yeah. You know, it's your, it's your like ELO score is how good you are. so you get matched against good people.

6:45So you're losing all your progress. Are you on the platform? I'm just curious. He has now changed his username after obviously work got out that he'd been done for toxicity. So his new username is 123456678. Nice and original. If you're looking. And some other bloke, a Polish bloke has claimed the Mudrick username. No, no, got him there. But yeah, it's obviously tough. It's his second ban. Actually, it's his third ban because he's also banned from driving for speeding. We talked about this before. He got banned, I think it was last year for speeding. And then he got caught driving while banned.

7:23So he got 60 hours of community service, which to be fair, he has got 60 hours available. But yeah, he got pulled over because his windows were too tinted. And then they were like, hang on, you're banned. He has those really like awful raps on his car. Has he? Yeah. Well, what? Of what? Like driving around Kensington. Well, like Chrome. chrome wraps yeah I mean he's got he's got the minion tattoo as well doesn't he he's got the like gone outro he's got that thing which is like if you gave 10 million dollars to an 8 year old boy what would they do and it's like this is what it'd be chrome wraps on cars as much gaming as I want get your hair tinted no bedtimes hair tinted and then tattoos of cartoon characters no bedtimes no parents he must be absolutely fuming he's actually quite quite well historically informed though if he's able to cite massacres from 80 years ago to bring down his rivals.

8:19Yeah, well, it's quite an erudite bit of pooning. Yeah, I mean, maybe it's well known on the platform. Like, I was thinking about the real name, the fact that he plays under his real name thing. Do you remember Jadon Sancho also fell foul of that? When he was at Dortmund, there were all these stories that he kept coming into training late and that he, like, was up late in the middle of the night gaming. And then one bloke posted a screenshot and he'd just beaten Sancho and had just written, go to bed, bro. Training in morning. It was like 3am. Good job he's only got five years left on his fucking contract.

8:53Oh my God, yeah. But I think if he's done properly, they'll have a clause to rip up the contract. What is a typical drug ban? What did Pogba get? Three years? He got three or four. He's back now, isn't he? Yeah, so he must be halfway through a ban. But when Mutu got done by Chelsea, not only did they rip his contract up, that they sued him for his transfer fee. So I think maybe you can sack someone. Just FYI, you can be sacked for drug use in the workplace. It's gross misconduct. Chelsea's still paying Mudrick his full salary. And he's on an eight-year contract. He's done three years. I mean, he's laughing, isn't he?

9:29Yeah, well. Just sat in his bedroom playing cutthroat. He's not paying it now, is he?

9:36Is Klan still paying him? Yeah, I think somewhere close to my dream life is footballer salary, gamer in the wanking dungeon lifestyle. That's perfect. Best of both worlds. Yeah, because after that, you'll have earned so much in that eight years that you could basically just retire after that anyway. Yeah, just balls deep into Counter-Strike. What a life. On the absolute opposite end of the spectrum, do you see Lewis Hamilton is going out with Kim Kardashian? Wow. Power couple. Sorry to sound quite okay magazine about it. I only bring it up. Like normally we wouldn't just do celebs dating stuff, but it is the logical conclusion of what we've always said is Lewis's entire life goal, which is to show off to girls in the year above.

10:23She is the ultimate girl in the year above. Kim Kardashian. Probably is even a little bit older than him. And he's, you know, his whole shtick is like backflips. it's having an insta account for his dog where he writes captions in a dog voice the wacky clothes do you know i mean all of it is just about getting attention yeah from the girls near above also in comparison to kanye lewis is pretty fucking normal yeah that's what i was thinking it's quite it's quite a hard x to follow i know she's had others yeah but like lewis likes doing wacky dressing and kanye sort of wrote the book on that yeah but that's about as crazy as lewis gets so in it is dress sex yeah i mean he's not going to release a song called harl hitler or actually do you know the like the b-side to that harl hitler song carnie did is is about sucking his own sucking his cousin's dick really was in a dark place yeah he has apologized now and i've forgiven him do you think that releasing that song on the back of a track called harl hitler is basically the equivalent of burying bad news it's like he's like look i've just there's something i've got to get off my chest i did suck off my cousin and his agent's like Kanye like you can't put that out you can't like he's like look man I gotta I gotta put it out I'm a genius I gotta do it I'm a genius I gotta tell the story man and his agent's like look okay Kanye I'll let you do it but can you put it on the B side of Heil Hitler because no one's gonna be fucking listening to that it's a stalking horse Heil Hitler yeah it's burying the unemployment figures on 9-11 isn't it by the way it also sucked off my cousin anyway Heil Hitler didn't he take a two page ad out in the FT to apologize.

12:02Yeah, he's sorry. For what Sucky's cousin built for. Just for all that. I got something to tell y 'all. They're not going to apologize for Kanye. Crack on me. Me and my cousin. No, I think for all the, you know, the anti-Semitism and stuff. Yeah. He was, you know, he took out a two page. Two page ad in the middle of the FT. He's sorry now. To say I'm working on myself. Just like, sorry about that. It wasn't that much, wasn't it? I mean, it was. looking at Kanye in one of his fashionable outfits. He did a big balaclava thing for a while, like all face or wolf suit. It's got so bad with him though that I don't know what's AI.

12:39Yeah, I know. I had an original one of him in a massive coat that turned out to be AI. It was Hamilton's though. They're not like, we're looking at the one of him in a pink tea cozy with daisies on it. That's vibes. I'd wear that to class though. Far left one we're looking at is sort of like bloke in Bristol who only wears hair. Bristol bloke who smokes weed into his 50s, lives in his mom's basement. Middle one is he's in a suit, but his leg is wearing like a bridal veil, like lace veil. Yeah, very 2026 wedding. I remember someone saying it looks like one of his legs is marrying the other.

13:15Sorry to listeners here, but if you're on Spotify, you can look at the video of this. I think the one on the right is the weirdest of all, I think. Sort of skater boy. Yeah, it looks like he's dressing up as a child who's borrowed his dad's clothes. It's got that big sort of like skater 90s huge shoes yeah oversized oversized check shirt kids shoes the far left one i'm also getting a bit of a playgroup assistant yeah again in bristol yeah purple hair that that one on the left is definitely a stonehenge for the solstice the one on the right reminds me of the mum from about a boy yeah you know yeah the hemp mum um yeah so he's his wacky dress has caught the attention of the most famous woman in the world you'd probably say yeah uh to be fair lewis he's he's a lovely fella that must be a lot more relaxing than going out with kanye

14:07he's a bit much i think kanye has got to be one of the worst people to go out with yeah yeah exhausting i think he's proven that i don't need to explore that idea maybe his cousin would be worse yeah that cousin by the way is in jail for murder really yeah he's doing a 17 stretch get sucked off a lot of good place if you like to get sucked off you know Kanye's my cousin that's gotta get you some favors in prison actually yeah speaking of uh speaking of getting favors in prison uh there was another round of releases from the Epstein files you see this week still no smoking gun on Trump although a lot of other new sporting figures were dragged into the mix you see toboli popped up in it he had a couple of meetings with epstein apparently um this was pre him buying chelsea but post epstein being convicted as a nod so just just to put that in just meeting up with nonsense to be fair he didn't visit the island or anything like that they look quite businessy yeah they i think they were a business meeting they were introduced by a guy called david mitchell presumably not that david Mitchell.

15:15He's very well networked, David Mitchell. There's a really good website where you can go through the Epstein files and it's like a Gmail inbox. Jmail is called. I wouldn't recommend it. Quite a few F1 figures as well popped up in it. Flavio Briatore and Bernie Eccleston. Of course. You'll be surprised to hear. Jacques Villeneuve as well and Eddie Irvine. Again, I don't think there's any suspicion that they've done anything wrong. Are they even meeting up with him or are they just sort of... This is just a mention, right? Yeah, they're mentions. I mean, I feel like him Flavio and Bernie sort of moving similar it's like Tommy Robbins I'm not so sure about yeah it's the billionaires yeah quite a damning one from Richard Branson because I think he had hosted Epstein his island and then sent a follow up email afterwards saying like oh it was it was lovely to have you there you'll have to come come again as long as you bring your harem and what to to neck her island yeah neck her island when you say harem like his wife's or just women I think he's referring to yeah I mean again no proof that they were underage yeah I mean the Harims but pretty bad people do sort of use the words more like as a kind of joking way but yeah but Jeffrey Epstein's Harim yeah he's quite different to a normal person this is the second Richard Branson dirty dog story we've had on here because there's that one about him motorboating that woman you know who performed do you remember long story short she performed at his party on Necker Island she was like a singer oh no she was a backup singer for a famous pop star i forget which one and at the end they're all saying goodbye and she had really big boobs and he'd been a bit obsessed with her big boobs all weekend and he just goes i'm sorry i have to and just buried his face in them motorboating mental um anyway yeah what's this got to do with sport there weren't any of this got to do with sport we'll get there in a bit there were actually so this is this is not necessarily incriminating but just embarrassing Casey Wasserman popped up in it so he's the chair of the organizing committee for the LA Olympics in 2028 and he'd exchanged some some pretty saucy emails with Jisane Maxwell back in 2003 uh so he he said that his desires include you me and not much else uh and then said I think of you all the time so what do I have to do to see you in a tight leather outfit whoa sauce pot and then And Jisane replied saying that she can give him a massage that can drive a man wild.

17:45Oh, so she does massages too. Oh, I think that was part of the deal. Really? I didn't know that. Yeah. Also, were they together? No, he was married at the time, which... No, but as in Jelaine and... Epstein. Epstein, yeah. She was his ex-girlfriend. Right. Oh, did they sort of stay together? She went from ex-girlfriend to like... Pimp. Yeah, basically. Right, right. Yeah, yeah. Tale as old as time. Yeah. um there was another one she sent to him saying it was he was coming to visit i think and she asked whether will it be foggy enough that you can float naked down the beach so no one can see you until they're close up steamy it's intense i'm impressed these people have got such sort of it's just they're such like sex addicts yeah it's just just horny horny rich people um new york giants co-owner steve tish popped up in it as well so he'd um epstein emailed him saying i can invite the russian to meet if you like and tish responded is she fun uh another time epstein was they were talking about another girl who epstein said was from tahiti and said she speaks mostly french exotic and tish replied working girl uh another time they were talking about another woman and he asked pro or civilian i say he's just brass yeah yeah this is proper brass yeah so very grim yeah it is um this isn't the biggest tragedy the whole thing but it's a shame we're not an american sports pod because all these fucking nfl owners obviously we just mentioned a couple are they all in yeah he's an nfl owner and there's a few more as well whereas yeah the the european sport world is pretty clean yeah i heard a little one on todd bowley this week it's only it's only a bit of a tit bit but my mate's a mortgage broker and He works for like a, like an ultra high net worth mortgage broker.

19:37So you don't always know who the end client is. And they said that they had this application through and the introducer just wouldn't tell them who it was. All they said it was sports and related to Chelsea. So they'd done all the paperwork for the mortgage and they then go, oh, can you produce some bank statements? Cause we've got to prove that you're worth this much to buy the house. And all this stuff was coming through and it just didn't add up. And eventually they found out that it was Todd Bowley and he didn't have enough money to buy the house. because there's all this stuff that he is just a front and there's no money behind him.

20:05He's got assets though, hasn't he? Oh, I guess so. He's got McCartney Midrick on an AIA contract. Can I mortgage him? No. They rejected the application and never went through. There's all this stuff floating around Chelsea. Is he actually worth anything or is Blueco just a front? And he is the front of it. He's the face, isn't he? He's probably got some money, but yeah, he's not the big money. Interesting. Waiting for his exit. Yeah, I guess that business deal with Epstein never went ahead. Six Nations starts tonight You guys are fucking buzzing You two ruckabuckers Chasing the old egg around are we Will you be watching?

20:40I'll watch, why not It's the sort of thing, I would never sit down To watch it really I'd rather die If it's on in the pub I'll watch Six Nations I'll be watching You'll be splitting the G on Saturday I'm going on Saturday England-Wales you're Wales Colorado yeah they're all sort of biggies aren't they there's no like well that's the point that's what's so good about it but like what is the what's the what's the big what's the one that like England fans are looking forward to most Ireland or France just because they're the they're the better team they're all good because Wales and Scotland hate England so that's quite fun this is a big game tonight Ireland France yeah really big I mean of recent years they've been the two best teams bit weird it's on a Thursday it's the first time ever but that is because it's the Winter Olympics opening ceremony on Friday and you can't clash with that.

21:30I find that mental. But I guess in France, it's quite a big thing. Winter Olympics is a thing, right? They've got snow sports there. I reckon it is. Because the Winter Olympics sort of is, it's the Olympics for like about 200 ,000 gay Swiss dukes and their girlfriends. Do you know what I mean? It's people who go to finishing schools. Yeah. That's my perception of it. Quite a fun, it's on a Thursday though. Yeah, I guess. yeah yeah but anyway so the yeah the Winter Olympics we're actually doing a special for the Winter Olympics next week on Tuesday got Hitler's mistress we've got hot tub orgies the real cool running story it's a goodie I saw there was a figure skater who was his outfit for his figure skating routine is he's dressed as a minion and he was doing it to the minion soundtrack and he he's now been allowed to perform but there was some like copyright intervention from like Universal Studios wouldn't let him play the music.

22:27Is he Ukrainian? They have no background. I can't remember where he's from. He's Spanish, I think. Do you see also the, in kind of a cool running's parallel, the Trinidad and Tobago bobsleigh team have got a ginger bloke from Yorkshire, who to be fair, has a very Winter Olympics name. His name is Axel Brown. Axel's a very Winter Olympics name, isn't it? His mum was born in Trinidad and Tobago, but yeah, he's from Yorkshire. That's fucking unbelievable. Filt at rhythm, filt at rhyme. Ayup, it's bobsled time. off to Bob Slayer

23:01looking at a picture good luck to them they're wearing medals in that picture they look like bronzes I hope they win that'd be amazing yeah me too we'll be watching anyway on the rugby for Ireland tonight Sam Prendergast is starting for Ireland at fly half which great for him teammates will be pleased he's sort of one of those ultra professional players although I did hear a story about him that makes him sound a bit more sort of old school rugby, dark old days. So apparently, like years ago, when he was a youngster, he was at some training camp with a lot of players who were just nowhere near his level.

23:38And he was like really pushing everyone. And at some point, the coaches took him aside and said, can you just play at their level, please? And he was like, fuck off. They should be playing at my level. Really annoyed. Starts clashing with his teammates. and so he decided to basically play a trick on one of them. He got the bloke's gum shield and you know they come in those little boxes like just that pop open. Yeah, the little blue boxes. Little plastic blue box. He pissed in it. He filled it with piss. Why do you always know with rugby? It's going this way in there. The story ends with piss. Sorry about drinking urine.

24:13So he pissed in it and the bloke got to the next game or training and just opened it because obviously I think they're sealed. yeah I don't quite remember but uh so you opened it and apparently it just overflowed with piss fucking man and then your gum shield's been marinating in it for like what like a week certainly a day or more um yeah so beware yeah beware of pissy gum shield yeah I should say that is in the unverified rumour category but uh thanks to Jack who told me it and do actually do do send in do send in your story tips yes at Upshot Towers DM us contact at upshot.email we will cross your palms with silver not literally but we'll sort you out with something voice notes are welcome yeah you can do that on DMs can't you yeah we'll give you some sort of tat from the upshot yeah you can have some pens once we order them yeah the JP's trip and flip pens by the way Zach I forgot to say JP's agreed to do them but he can't be totally naked it just has to go down to like tight underwear just because my mum's going to want one and I don't want if she's writing to just sit there seeing my cock.

25:18So what, it's going to be, it's going to be you and your, your nice blue shirt and then tip the pen. You tip the pen and then it's down to your speedos. It's like a thong. Yeah. Okay. Mankini maybe. Yeah. Like maybe you can see a bit of side ball. We'll see. I've actually just trademarked myself and I'm doing a licensing deal with the Upsort to get this done. So. Manscaped are very interesting. You need to leave something for your only fans. Yeah. Monster Energy. Everybody knows White Monster, Zero Ultra. That's the OG. It kicked off this whole zero sugar energy drink thing. But Ultra is a whole lineup now.

25:51You've got Strawberry Dreams, Blue Hawaiian, Sunrise, and Vice Guava. And they all bring the monster energy punch. So if you've been living in the white can, branch out. Ultra's got a flavor for every vibe. And every single one is zero sugar. Tap the banner to learn more. So good, so good, so good. Hey. did you see that boxer he got his wig punched off his head on Saturday night got a clip of it here well I've never seen this before but a real fighter is getting the hair off his head Sergio commentary's good wow that is going to make the rounds on social media that's like a cartoon Jarrell Miller Jarrell Miller you've got to really hit someone hard to get rid of that doesn't he then throw the wig into the crowd yeah he then So I think he like sits down in his ring and he said that he, he sat down and his like coach is there just like giving him his pep talk between rounds.

27:15And normally his coach is really just like straight into his eyes, really to the point. But the guy just seemed kind of distracted. He kept on like looking, looking up at his head. And at some point he was like, is everything all right? So that's when he realized. That's great. So he was just like, fuck it. Just ripped it off, chucked it into the crowd. And then won the fight. Great. I bet you'd be so angry because you paid for your fucking helmet to get it done apparently he paid seven seven hundred dollars so his his um excuse me well he said he said that a few days before the fight he still had a full head of hair but he'd gone and stayed at his mum's and borrowed some of her shampoo and that had caused his hair to fall out on the eve of the fight um which i don't know i mean i don't know what kind of shampoo she's using because i was more like hair removal cream yeah um oh yeah inadvertently side problem is that he now knows his mum is smoother than a Porsche bonnet.

28:11Sorry. I say that one. Yeah. It's quite - Yeah, he's - There really were no winners that night, weren't there? Jerome won the fight, but did he really? And his opponent lost it. What about if he ever caught the wig? He's laughing. Oh, mate, that'd be worth saying in a few years time. I'm sure it will, yeah. There's the sort of thing, you leave it in your car and it's just stuck to the seat. You just can't get it off. I thought that sort of thing only happened at the Simpsons yeah what toupees coming up yeah it's a sort of memorabilia that'd be quite good for an ear wouldn't it if we had his toupees yeah oh yeah if the owner's watching or listening get in touch yeah there was that pic of the Arsenal fan a few years ago do you remember he celebrated he was at Arsenal Watford and Odegaard scored in the fifth minute and he got a bit over the top in his celebrations and his toupee peeled off the back of his head we're looking at a picture but does he know it's peeled out he's like standing upright revealing it he's got a perfect right attack underneath the um the son tracked him down afterwards somehow I did an interview with him he was like yeah I've got gotta be less frugal with the glue next time that's good so Jarrell is saying that he has hair but he has it was an accident and it's so he had to cover up but is he blaming it on his mum well he's blaming it on his mum it's very childish to blame it on your mum his mom's shampoo weirdly his hair fell out in the exact place of male pattern baldness it's actually not jorrell's first brush with a dodgy home remedy though because a few years ago he he served this ban uh four years he was banned for uh for failing a drugs test which he blamed on what's called a black ant pill which you know some you know sometimes in you go to like a really ship hub or a motorway service station and they have condom machines with these like dodgy viagra alternatives i've never seen them it's one of them basically jp knows his way around a dodgy viagra around a dodgy pub toilet yeah nearly had art we've got a picture in the packet here this is the the black ant king pill that jorrell blamed his failed drugs test on the packet describes it as the best sellable product of the world.

30:29You just wouldn't take that, would you? No. It looks like the kind of thing, elite athlete. It looks like the kind of thing that you're either going to have a heart attack on the spot or you're going to have a boner for the next six weeks. I think you'll have a heart attack and a boner. So best sellable product of the world. That just means like best selling. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it says underneath, make the penis larger, thicker, harder and stronger. Where's the, why the ant reference though? What's that? Black ant. they're strong it's probably made from like ground up insect or something it's like chinese medicine isn't it right it's a bit ancient larger thicker harder stronger sounds like a daft punk song jp you just said you nearly had a heart attack on camagra oh for fuck's sake yeah i used to when i was at uni i occasionally have taken it and uh one time i took it with a load of booze and it's so fucking strong camagra it's like you're supposed to take like half a packet i took a whole one and i fucking thought i was gonna have a panic attack passed out yeah literally passed out what is Kamaga is a pill.

31:25No, it's a jelly. It's a fire so dangerous. You apply it directly to the sauce. No, you put it up your bum. You eat it off my knob. Cousin. Kanye, Kanye, sir. It's oral. You just smash the lubricant and then... Yeah. How long? I mean, I was out of... I wasn't out of it. I was, you know, fully... In it. Fully masked, but just incredibly dizzy and felt incredibly faint. Because they think that's what killed Shane Warne. Yeah, yeah. Because it's everywhere in Thailand and that night he was... It's really dangerous. Imagine if you had like those little bottles of Red Bull and then a couple of those fucking Camagra, you'd be well on your way.

32:04You're dead. Yeah. But Black Amp Hill, I think, you'd assume, yeah, I don't know. Does it work? I think we should... I mean, I'm sure I'm a way to find out. I'm sure it does work. Should we try and track some down? We'll double drop before the live shows.

32:20Right, lads. turn out all of us have got a ball pack

Read the full transcript

32:27but yeah I haven't seen it it's pub and petrol station yeah I presume he picked that up along with a a chewable toothbrush and some condoms that expired in 1999 yeah I wouldn't take that just the colouring of the package all of it just looks very unnatural they should make it a bit more palatable uh talking of dodgy cocks javier tebas is on his high horse again this week and you know hospitality is really on its ass right now you know utilities are going up wages are rising and you know the spanish economy is on an absolute knife edge and you know hotels bars and pubs they're probably just trying to make a little bit of extra money to get by at the minute and really just living day to day.

33:17But Javier wants the Spanish people to take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask themselves a very simple question. Do they A, support their local pubs by going down on a Tuesday night, taking part in the pub quiz, having some scampi fries and a nice cold pint? Or B, stay at home with a warm can of beer and grass up the pub for streaming football matches without a proper license? surprise surprise Javier Tebas is hoping you go with option B so to remind people he's the head of La Liga right head of La Liga and he's obsessed with piracy this is his thing yeah he is obsessed with trying to get people done what was he doing before he was like lurking in forums yeah yeah he was tracking people down on forums and he even he I think Vinny Junior posted a Instagram video of himself watching a football match while he was back in Brazil and Javier was like ah that wasn't that wasn't available in your region and sent uh sent video fine yeah vinnie's team had to find his like subscription and send it to have you got the sky login so what now he wants people to dob in pubs that have got yeah so he's gone public so he's asking the spanish public for help and he's offering a 50 euro bounty to anyone who reports their local pub or bar for broadcasting La Liga games.

34:44Anyone who puts their local business out. Yeah. You literally get your pub closed for 50 euros. What sort of cunt? He genuinely feels like that prefect at school that would dob you in for having your Reebok classics on. Do you know what I mean? He's just such a little shit. It's more like fucking Stasi in East Germany or something. It's mental. Yeah. Anyway, according to La Liga Barres, which is like the official website where, you know hotels and pubs can upload their information and actually buy a license Javier's created this form which citizens can submit and dub in their pubs and it's a three stage process so first of all you've got to send a photo of the screen showing the unauthorized match then you've got to show a facade of the venue and then you've got to show a photo of the interior that shows the broadcast only the first thousand valid reports get the money a thousand per pup no a thousand valid reports can be submitted and then he's cutting it off he's got a budget he's got a 50k budget for this I'm not betting loads for this so is he seeing it more as a symbolic thing yeah yeah yeah he wants people to be with him I guess no one under the age of 18 can be a snitch he doesn't want he's got there's some rules and regulations around that and a maximum of four bonus payments per establishment so you can only dob in your local pub four times oh my god little shit bag uh i would love to see how this would go down in the uk i can imagine like the landlady at mine and jack's local in kensel would probably smash you around the head with a cricket yeah you know what i mean um also how much did it cost to stream football and because it's the the price of it is insane yeah i don't know about in spain but pubs in in the uk thousands thousands yeah but like even to even to stream at home because I hear it's like what 100 quid or something if you want to get all the Premier League games at home it's a grand a year do you do that or you could or dob in your local pub where you could go and watch it 50 quid so you get half a month's cost yeah is this but I think what you're going to get is most people are like fuck off that's awful but you're going to get bounty hunters you will get a few people that are going out there who basically tour ideally dressed as sort of the cowboy bounty hunters from the mid and westerns going into Sophie sticks on the door.

37:04Swinging. Phone is in a little gun holster. Tying up his horse outside. With the old black cowboy hat. Why are you walking like John Wayne, mate? Good day, ma 'am. There's only room enough for one of us in this town. Just taking a photo of the screen. Looking for that little pint glass logo in the corner of the screen. yeah this is some of the worst people on earth then yeah yeah streaming bounty hunters is he thinking symbolically this works or is he actually trying to i think he's obsessed i think he's generally obsessed with this and i don't think he's going to get a hold on it either there's so many ways football authorities are out of touch with fans but i honestly think this might be the biggest one like how can you not see yeah but you know we're so loyal to pubs in the uk i'm sure they must be loyal to their local little town owners do the spanish love their pubs too They love a little bar Don't they Yeah I'm sure You're definitely not getting A little bowl of nuts and olives With your next pint Are you Yeah If you snitch them in Yeah It's going to get a bit like Paranoid in the pub If people are taking pictures You know what I mean Like people do just take pictures Of screens Screens The score or whatever It's going to get a bit like Maybe that's what he wants You want to rip the soul Out of communities Yeah Good start What's the matter Liga boy Afraid we might stream something

38:30i'm actually again gutted we don't have this sort of bloke in the uk yeah this would be a great villain in the premier league premier league's a bit faceless isn't it who is it i was trying to think who it was i don't actually richard masters yeah i don't think he's a cunt i generally don't want a javier in this country like that no but it'd be a villain yeah yeah this is going even You know the anti-piracy ads that were like, you wouldn't steal a car. Yeah. This is next level. You wouldn't stream a football match. I'm actually talking out of touch blazes. Infantino is calling on Russia to be readmitted to world football.

39:07He's like, we need the boys and girls to be allowed to play. Yeah. I don't think he's thinking World Cup. Surely it's too late for that. But it's a bold move. I mean, him and Putin love each other, don't they? Yeah, but he was quite pro-banning them, I think. Was he? I mean, I get it. We're all tired now. Did he not ask for a ceasefire during the last World Cup? Yeah. He begged, he implored the Russian and Ukrainian authorities to do a ceasefire just for the length of... No, I think it was the Euros. Just while the Euros is on.

39:40Guys, we have a festival of football coming up. It's just really not the vibe. Maybe for Eurovision as well. We can't do war in a sponsorship contract, guys. So we're going to need you to stop. Call off the fighting in the Congo Delta just for AFCON.

40:00Budweiser have asked if you could stop shooting each other. So could you guys stop? Is that right?

40:07Just while we're launching these NFTs, it would be great.

40:14if javier tebas rides in on a horse and shoots out your pub's tv then there is another way to access content not available in your area that's nord vpn it's never been more important to have a vpn as the various authorities wage war on our internet freedom i've actually been using it a lot recently because the epstein files stuff a lot of the like good coverage where they've cherry pick the best bits is on American websites. And a lot of them block UK for some reason. That's why you've got a VPN. American websites that I trust. I think his wife has turned safe search on at home. He's like, Nord!

40:53Yes! She won't tell me the pin. Luckily, mum. She's got it behind the brick. Mudrick's got NordVPN, hasn't he? That's definitely what he invested in. Yeah, it's actually great. when you go on a website that you can't use and you just literally two seconds, change location, USA or whatever. And I'm in, I'm laughing. Um, and yeah, it works for anything that's available abroad. So yeah, TV shows, sports matches, something fruitier. Whatever you want. Choice is yours. I think it is at the point now where if you don't have one, you're browsing the internet, you're a mug. It also does various security shit that I don't really understand, including it tells you if your password's been leaked online.

41:34Really? It's quite good and says like, change it. It's like a shield. So if a website's been hacked, you know, and they get hacked and all their passwords get leaked. If you, one of those, what was that site for people who wanted to cheat on their wives? Ashley Madison. And then someone leaked all the data. If you've been leaked for cheating, Nord will probably sort you out. Yeah. It's a sort of condom for the internet. In this age where you can catch all sorts of nasty stuff online. Spunk away, lads. Yeah. And it lets you just do what you want. Watch what you want. Much like Mikhailo Mudrik. No parents, no bedtimes.

42:08And there is an exclusive discount for Upshot listeners on NordVPN. Go to nordvpn.com forward slash Upshot and you get an extra four months on the plan and a 30-day money-back guarantee. 43:05now when the police pulled over hamburg winger jean-luc dompe recently for driving erratically they already had a few preconceptions about him back in 2023 jean-luc had challenged an 18 year old teammate of his to an illegal drag race in the streets of saint pauli in hamburg he had lost control of the vehicle uh crashed into a bus stop and destroyed his bmw before fleeing the scene He actually managed to get away with that one, though, because he said that it was a friend of his who was behind the wheel. Obviously, both of them had scarpered, so there was no real way of proving it. But this time around, there was no getting away for Jean-Luc.

43:44So the police pulled him over, breathalized him, and he was twice over the limit. So they hauled him back to the station where they ran a few more tests, gave him a dressing down, confiscated his license. and eventually they handed him back his shoelaces and let him go and Jean-Luc walked down the steps of the station and hopped on an e-scooter to get home at which point one of the police officers spotted him out through the window and did him again for driving an e-scooter drunk wait you're a professional footballer surely just get a fucking cab he lived 900 metres from the police station just walk five minute walk i can see why you would e-scoot to that yeah that's the sort of distance that's quite good on lime isn't it but you've just been done for drink driving yeah but you probably wouldn't think i mean to be fair like have you ever done one of those drunk lime bike tests yeah no whenever you get a lime bike at like 2 a.m they always make you do like a reaction test on your phone really it is the most bollocks test ever yeah one of the most drunk i've been in a very long time i got on a lime bike and passed the test first time did you drive did you cycle all the way back to yours yeah i wasn't that far away from the house uh it's really fucking dangerous mate don't do that well okay no seriously get out uh yeah but i don't but i don't think here you get done by the i've never heard of anyone being done for being drunk on a lime here no but maybe you do i think you can but but what in europe it's a bit more enforced apparently so like in australia i think they just i mean they normally like you probably the police will probably let him go but they'd literally just brasilized him it's like that guy's twice over the limit so you walk out of the station see him through the window getting on a bike i just love that he's got those two charges now within like 45 minutes of each other that is bad um have you ever heard that i my mate claims this is his friend this drink driving story which obviously I don't endorse during driving, but supposedly this guy was, he was driving home drunk and got to a roundabout and he was, he missed his turn and he was so hammered and it was the middle of the night.

46:01Instead of like just going back around the roundabout, he stopped and reversed. And as he reversed, someone was coming around the roundabout and he smashed into it. That's fucking bad. Which is fucking stupid and presumably possible jail. And then, anyway, so then the guy we hit into was like, what the fuck? and the guy obviously rang the police and was like, wait there. So both waiting there, this guy's like, fuck. He's like, I'm going to go and sit in my car and wait for them. And so he sat in his car waiting, the police arrived and first they're talking to the guy he hit behind him and eventually the police come up to him and he's about to be like, I did it, I'm sorry.

46:35And the police go to them, don't worry about it, mate. That bloke behind you, so over the limit. He thinks you were reversing around the roundabout. And they waved him off and he went home. And drunk drive home. I mean I don't know if it's another beer that's fucking insane because why would you call the police if you were over the limit yeah that's great

46:59so just got away with it yeah live to tell the tale don't drink drive you're a fucking cunt if you do yeah actually speaking of speaking of boozing Nick Kyrgios it kind of seems like for most of his career he's been on this one man mission to prove that you can stay out partying all night play basketball whenever you want and still win Grand Slams. Turns out you can't. But it's good to see that all these years later, Nick is still plugging away. So he's 30 now and he was in Melbourne last week for the Australian Open. And most players, I think, were knuckling down, early bedtimes, salmon fillets for dinner.

47:37Not Nick, though, who decided to use the middle weekend of the tournament to go on a big old bender. so he was out at a club on saturday night and he was filmed being booted out by security at 7 a.m because they were closing i think no i think they were still still open for bad behavior yeah yeah because he then so he was filmed outside on the street kind of arguing with security his his mate was kind of trying to hold him back and be like look come on let's go home he goes and goes on a goes on a big rant about anthony albanese the the prime minister and his mate's just like Nick on a beach come on just shut up as he has let's get home he then gets on his knees appears appears from this photo that he's begging to be let back into the club it's 7am oh yeah it's daylight it's daylight oh he's on his knee has he got his trousers sucked into his socks yeah he's got in his training kit is that a sort of sarcastic kneeling like oh fucking please if I fucking beg you let me in yeah please miss yeah he is showing us up hello fuck you miss Please let me back in.

48:45You were going to your fucking stupid club anyway. Fucking shithole. What is he talking about Anthony Albanese? I don't know. I think he's just just drugged. He smashed. Anyway, eventually the security are not letting him back in and he does make his way home. Presumably then spends most of Sunday curled up on a sofa eating Tim Tams. But then on Sunday night he decides to hit the clubs again. And he was filmed in the early hours of Monday morning partying with this group of girls who who post this video online captured tennis what tennis the curious life of the party there it is yeah i'm loving this doing yeah which footballer is it that does that celebration oh yeah i also learned that one yeah um anyway it kind of seems like a good time is being had by all especially nick although spare a thought for nick's doubles partner leila fernandez who had to share a court with him on Monday afternoon.

49:44So that was like, he was out Sunday, Sunday night, Sunday morning, 7am. He was in the club Monday morning in the early hours. Again, he was in the club and then Monday afternoon, he was on court with Leila. You don't really see his behavior anymore. I kind of rate it. Yeah. How did they do? They lost in straight sets. 56 minutes. They lost. Also, she's probably like, fuck yeah. I've got Nick Keros as a partner. He's an Australian Open doubles champion. yeah got a chance here Mick's got other ideas so he's fully back on his old thing because this was like back in the day when he was a promising youngster at Wimbledon he like went out the night before yeah he was going out before a match there was that there's a really good clip of him so he'd been in the pub the night before a match at Wimbledon and he was hanging out with a load of journalists and there's a press conference where a journalist asks a question and he just like looks at her and he's like you were at the pub last night I know you you alright bro it was great so he's fully back on that he's back on maybe he's thinking he's like hit 30 fuck it he's kind of given up hasn't he I mean he's just having a good time it is kind of a shame you can't do that and go out and win he did come close he got to grandstand finals but never quite made it past is he still in the Australian no this is over ignore me he wasn't in the singles actually he was just doing doubles easy barely doing that he was drinking drinking doubles acting single what's the third bit seeing treble what is it acting single seeing double drinking treble or something yeah no titles that'll be my t-shirt next week new wins I kind of feel like that running into a bad Nick Kyrgios in the smoky era of a club at 7am is sort of the golden ticket really for Australian Open autograph hunters got your high five from Carlos Alcaraz There's slightly too much eye contact from Boris Becker.

51:41Homophobic rant from Margaret Court. The other biggie, obviously, is a foul-mouthed bollocking from John McEnroe, which is exactly what one selfie hunter got when he ran into John at Melbourne Airport on Monday. We've got a clip of it here. Will you stop? Stop! Jesus Christ! Shut it back. Not right now, mate. The kid's being quite nice, just uh, he is a child. I mean he is following him around. I reckon he's harassed him. Yeah, it's like... You've got the right to say no. I think you've got the right to say no. That'd be you to cut the weight, Jack. I need you to stay away from me. Jack walking to Tesco's on Monday in the post office queue.

52:28Stop!

52:41It's a bit much.

52:46Will you stop? Stop! Jesus Christ. Are you kidding me? You're my hero.

53:05i'm sorry but if you just got off a flight you're fucking tired and someone's being like that he was going to the going to his flight yeah i mean i'll be in the mood for it yeah he did very nearly say you cannot be serious when he's like you gotta be kidding me he's like go on go on just say the fucking line it's probably what they were well yeah it was quite difficult to hear but my favorite bit was when the fan eventually after being rejected multiple times says i still love you john and john says go fuck yourself also uh he's got a guitar on his back yeah he is i do feel like john mackenroe is the sort of guy you can imagine around the campfire he does music doesn't he liam gallagher has some story about john mackenroe like playing him his music really yeah i think there's some bag involved yeah he's probably gonna write a song about all this running now yeah i think that is you're right that is what you want from john macker isn't it that's what they go also are those guys the professional autograph hunter guys who just sell it that kid looked quite young he looked yeah i think legit um reminds me of those guys that got told off by pep guadagnola he's like what is your dream what is your dream and they're like footballer he's like work hard try better do better yeah you're not getting that from john mackenrow are you um all right finally uh on our graham soonest pod we were talking about tender stem broccoli jp you would have missed this huge scoop but um a lot of people don't know it's a brand it's a brand name it's trademark yeah i did know that that's a uni all right well it's actually a japanese company who owned the trademark to tender stem broccoli broccoli or tender stem Like tender stem is a Japanese invention.

54:49Wow. Done by breeding broccoli and kale. Oh, really? I didn't know that. Okay. Well, yeah. What about, what's the other one? Purple sprouting broccoli. I don't know. It's so similar, isn't it? I thought that was like how broccoli is. That's the actual color, isn't it? Yeah, because it looks a bit more rugged, doesn't it? Yeah, I think it's sort of, well, can I just shock you? Can I just shock you? You know, the James Bond films, they used to be produced, the early ones, by a guy called Albert Broccoli. Have you ever clunk that? His daughter owns the, I think she just sold the rights to James Bond.

55:21Barbara Broccoli. Barbara Broccoli. Great name. Yeah, it's good. I think growing up with the surname Broccoli, you'd get teased a lot. Yeah. And so you would want a sort of like cool story that makes it, you know. Legit. Legit. And they actually claim to be descended from the inventors of broccoli. So that broccoli is named after their family, is their argument. Wow. So I looked into it. It's a bit, bit murky, but broccoli, if you think of like classic broccoli, not tender stem, right? So picture like, you know what I mean? Yeah. It's like little trees. Yeah. It's like a little forest of trees.

55:54So that is actually, broccoli's been around for a long time, but that form was achieved by breeding cauliflower with broccoli rabe. You ever cook with that? No. It's a more like leafy sort of like kale-y thing. And they bred them together. And so her family invented broccoli. Wow. Really? As we know it. Yeah. Wow, good. Well, you've got something new on this podcast. And then I was also thinking about the carrots thing, because, you know, carrots used to be white, and you often get them purple, but they became orange in the Netherlands. They bred them to be orange, and that's the dominant form, obviously.

56:29And I always heard it was in honour of the, like, William of Orange, the Dutch crown. So we were lucky. We spent quite a lot of time on it. Oh, so that's what you were doing yesterday. different vegetables don't worry I've got more I'm not done wait till you hear about the bananas yeah so so obviously the original colours of carrots are sort of whitish or purple and they then bred them to get orange but yeah it's often said that it was in tribute to William of Orange and they did originate in the Netherlands around it was actually it was before that oh so okay maybe they got it from the carrots and you both don't know why they're orange do you no that's that's the answer you can see in the dark oh really no that's so i then went down that rabbit hole so that myth was invented in world war ii because the british pilots had radar and they didn't want the germans to know they had radar so they publicized the idea that the british pilots the reason they were so good at seeing in the dark it's because they ate loads of carrots really so my question for listeners who aren't in the uk is do you have that myth as well like is it just a british yeah surely i guess maybe germans too because they're like well my furor the reason the luffafer are struggling is this the carrots uh but yeah if you're abroad i'd like to know what about the whole um popeye spinach is that true i think that might be bollocks that's true that is true potatoes this is true obviously came from the Americas to Europe.

58:02I never knew that. And for about 150 years, they were just a decorative plant. They have flowers. And then someone was like, should we eat these? And then I think within a hundred years after that, they were a quarter of all food in Europe. They were like, fueled that massive population boom. Wow. Stop me if this is getting too boring. So people were just starving before that. It allowed people to have bigger families and stuff. So millions were born off the back of the town. Things you find out on this fucking podcast. I'm so interested to see the retention graph on this episode to see what percentage of people are still with us.
