In short
The episode is a mix of personal relationship fallout (ghosting and emotional aftermath), reality-TV strategy talk, and Rob Rausch’s background and interests. Rob discusses his experience on The Traitors, including how he voted and why certain banishments surprised him. The hosts also cover life updates, anxiety, online scrutiny, and fun “Therapist” segments (airplane pet peeves, love language, dream wedding, and a snake-focused Q&A).
Guests
Rob Rausch (The Traitors winner/contestant; previously on Love Island; from Alabama; played football; dyslexic; anxious; into conspiracy theories like Agartha; keeps in touch with some Love Island cast like Kendall). Peyton “Peyton Birther Boy” (co-host/guest in the intro story; shares a recent experience of being ghosted by a man she DM’d; describes crying for 15 hours, seeking an exorcism/crystal protection, and a supportive surprise from Jake and Julia).
Key claims
Rob says his plan was to vote out Tara first, then Eric, and win; he frames Lisa’s banishment as a strategic timing move based on voting history. He claims Love Island prepared him by making online criticism feel worse. Peyton claims the ghosting happened after her DM and that she was used as a “yelp account” for men’s travel recommendations.
Notable examples
Peyton’s “he never came back from the bathroom” dinner/club story; Rob’s “shield” confusion and strategy around voting patterns; Rob’s Birkin purchase plan (Madison Ave Hermes/Couture store) and snake Q&A (Asian vine snake; “cloaca” sex explanation).

0:42hi pussies welcome back to therapist tonight we have on rob roush but first for a special intro we have peyton birther boy oh boy how are you doing girl i mean am i ever well for a moment you were I feel like I'm constantly losing the fucking plot. This weekend was bad. Every time I'm on Therapist, something like groundbreakingly awful is going on in my personal life. I was just, you guys, like I don't even know how to put it. Dogged. I was disrespected. Payne and I have a lot of alone time this week together, so. Also, whenever Jake and I are left alone, it is just the roguest, most outrageous thing ever.
1:35Jake and I, like when we are alone and we've only had a handful of - We have baby weekend. Nights out alone and the world - Shifts. Stops. It stops and shifts. It stops and shifts. I don't even know if that's the same thing, but it does. And we're coming up on one of those. A man came to the city. a man that not, I wouldn't say he disrespected her in the past, but I would say things didn't end the way you would have liked them to. Right. You were ghosted. Like kind of. And Peyton, when this happened, went mute for three days. I didn't speak. She sat in the corner of our house, silent, silent, waiting for him to text me.
2:21He didn't. And he didn't. And then I texted him and he like barely replied. So then how did this pick back? Oh. Hi, it was all my fault. But this, the OG crash out was Jay Shetty was on the podcast. And Peyton sat barefoot. Barefoot. I was literally grounding myself bare feet on the hardwood floor. And I was like, I need a moment of your time alone. And you need to guide me to do something. Yeah. The camera stopped rolling because I had to go pee and Peyton went to him and said, please help me. I was in desperate need. So basically this man comes back to the city. No, but why does he come? Like, let's.
3:11I DMed him.
3:15Oh my gosh. God forbid a bitch is moving her thumbs. She said, she said, she said, she said she sent him a meme she found. She looks at me yesterday. She goes, bitch, I searched for it.
3:31I lied to everyone. And I said it was on like my, you know, when you're scrolling Instagram and it's suggested. An explore page? No, no, no. Like, you know, when your feed's done, like you've done the damn thing. Your feed is over. It's like all suggested. I was like, oh yeah, like screen rant was suggested. No, it wasn't. Right. Screen rant. Screen rant. So she sent him a DM and then he was like, I'm going to come to New York this weekend. He was giving you everything. Okay. You need to validate me because I also, the worst part about this, and I had therapy this morning and last week I just did not want to hear a damn thing she said.
4:08And like, sometimes that's okay. And I get on this morning and she's like, and I was like, rough weekend. She goes, yeah, I can only imagine how upset you are. And I was like, yeah. But she was like, well, you know how we spoke last week and you told me that you messaged him and lied to all of your friends about it? I was like, yeah. She was like, well, that means you knew something bad was going to happen. I was like, no, I didn't. You didn't. You didn't. You just, as we said, Peyton was moving in silence. And I honestly was just like, I moved to New York. I feel like it's going to go my way.
4:45And it didn't, which is fine. he basically used payton as a yelp account and this has happened to me before too which is like is some do i give like trip advisor i don't know do i give google because the amount of men who text me and they're like there was this guy a few months like last month and he was like hey like where should I go on vacation I was like um I was just in Tulum and Cabo he goes great I'm gonna go to Cabo back to your crash out back to my crash out and I really really really want to just moment of silence for this yeah let's all take a moment of silence right Moment of silence for this.
5:39Should I just like say what happened? Let's just like start from start to finish. So basically what occurred is this man is texting me like, I have dinner at this time. And then come me and my friends got a table at the club I recommended. He's like taking all your recommendations. Come meet us after dinner. I'm like, honestly, perfect. He tells me he's going to the bathroom. He never came back. I know. You're like, that's really bad. It's really bad. It's really bad. There is no way to like sugarcoat it. It's really bad. And Peyton texted him, did you just leave? No response. No response. No, he texted her the next day, what are you doing today?
6:27Probably for Rex. I wish you guys could see Louise's face. I'm on the phone with Peyton and I've never heard her like this. There's only been one instance where she's cried in my arms on the way back from the club. Hi. Shocker about another man. Yeah. She is on the phone. Her voice is like breaking. And I'm like, I've never heard this before. Like her voice is like legitimately breaking. Also, you know, it's bad when you wake up and you're sober and it's just like. You're still crying. She cried for 15 hours straight. I was really fucking sad. Honestly. I just like even if this was a random man I had never met it's a really horrible feeling it's the worst feeling you feel so gross also I just like felt like shit about myself honestly and I felt very rejected and I don't think I was ready to feel that way since I was also coming down from being fucking fouled left right and center again I'm like it just made it 10 times worse so then I go to lunch and I am quite literally unwell.
7:31It's Saturday. The sun is shining, but I am not. I am being just like the absolute worst vibe. And you know, I am usually like the one person that like doesn't get in like a bad vibe. You're always like, it's Saturday. We're drinking. Let's And I'm always like, you know what? You guys, like, life rocks. Like, let's just, like, be. It takes a lot for me to be a bad vibe. So, me being in this state is really bad. I get home from lunch. I will say. Like, I did have a thought go through my head. Like, Jake has not checked up on me nearly enough. I totally thought that. And I was like, hmm, noted. Fucking asshole.
8:20But? But then I go back to my apartment and I open my elevator and there's flowers on the ground. My first thought is, are they from him? And then, but then they were from Jake and Julia. And then the note was really funny. But when I saw the flowers, I started crying because I was like, wow, I really needed this. And then the note was really funny. Also, like, not that anyone needed more perspective. Like I'm sure everyone can really just understand and see clear as day how down bad I was. I walked into a crystal shop and said basically like I need an exorcism. And what did they give you? They gave you a crystal.
9:01They gave me a little amethyst mushroom and said this will protect you. And I have been holding it ever since. You know what? You tried. I tried. You tried. And that's fine. That's fine. But I also feel like there's something going on. Well, obviously Mercury's in retrograde, but there is something really about this weekend. Every single girl I encountered from Friday to Sunday, whether it was at lunch, out, a friend I was meeting for a drink, every single girl was like, I cried myself to sleep last night. I was like, what? Me too. Damn. What else should we talk about? God, we could just talk for hours on end, huh?
9:45Hours on end. Yep, yep, yep. Oh, tonight. I have new cotches. The bunnies, the foam bunnies with the little like jelly. Never had and I will be having. You'll sleep over, bring a sleepover bag? Yes. Oh, can I invite you to something while we're on air right now? Yes. Sweets and treats snack expo in Las Vegas. in May. I will fly you out. We'll go together. We'll stay at the wind. We'll go clubbing and we'll go eat conscious all day. I mean, yes, I love Vegas. There is no one who loves Vegas more than I do. Last time, me, Peyton, Julia, Louise, 7 a.m. Smoking cigarettes outside the darkest hours of my life.
10:31But honestly, it was beautiful. It was so fun. It was so fun. That was like a really good morning. Also, some Vegas nights, they're really hit or miss. They're either like euphoric. That was a hit. First of all, and you want to know why it was the best night of our lives? Alice was on amazing for him. Alice was being so fun. Everyone was just having like the best night ever. And it was just like everything was going right. I will say when Alice didn't get on the bus, that's when I started to struggle. But that was the next day. How was the tour bus ride back? Was it a little treacherous? Your bed.
11:08So comfy. Jake has like a 14 inch mattress topper and a 19 inch duvet. Yeah, it's pretty sick. Oh my God. You're going to die for my new sheets in my New York apartment. Which speaking of. Shut up. The news is in. Check your phone. What? Give me my phone. Approved. Seriously? Seriously? Shut up.
11:34when can we start moving in get your bags and run she said i said when can we get oh my god i'm so excited hi jake's a resident my day is made wow that was beautiful you guys beautiful i can't believe we got that on camera i know oh i'm so happy i'm so excited i'm still an la boy i'm la through and through don't get it twisted do not get it twisted i'm an la man okay I will spend most of my time in LA sorry not happening wow and on that note wow enjoy tonight's episode with Rob Roush he's amazing he's hot as fuck he's a traitor he is lovely and I am about to go buy a Birkin with him for Maura I love you Pi I love you I've missed you so much I missed you Maura okay let's go get lunch and see my new apartment thank fucking god okay I love you Say bye, pussies.
12:33Bye, pussies. Missed you. Hi, pussies. Welcome back to Therapists. Today we have on the most strategic, thoughtful, and conniving traitor of all time, Rob Rauch. Hello, Jake. Hi. Are you shy? Yes. Oh, okay.
13:02I like your shoes. Thank you so much. Tell me, how are you? How are you doing? I'm good. I'm kind of sleepy. You're sleepy? Well, they've been working you like a dog. They have. I know. Are you upset to be here? No, no. I was happy to do this. I've been wanting to do this for a while. I know. We've been talking about it since we saw each other at the Pickleball Celsius Classic. Yes, you did so good. No, I didn't. Did you win that? I didn't play. You were trying to get me to take your spot. Oh. I was like, no, it's all you. Okay, tell me everything. I watched that final roundtable, and I was really gagged.
13:43That was really good television. Yeah, it was crazy, right? It's you, Tara, Maura, and Eric. That's right. What was your plan going in? My plan going in to that fire pit was to vote out Tara, and then Eric and then win the game. Really? Like, yeah. Yeah, at that point. Like, you weren't like, you weren't like, Eric, it's us? No, I was like that. But then when Maura, like, came to me and she was like, Rob, you have to promise to get Eric out of the game. And I was like, I was like, no, look at me. I mean, it was the opportunity of a lifetime. Exactly. That's exactly what it was. It was like, well, are you going to buy her a Birkin?
14:27I am. I'm getting it today, actually. Do you want to come with me? Really? Okay. You can probably come. Where are you getting the Birkin? Madison, Fifth Avenue. Are you going to Hermes? It's Couture Store, I think. Ah, shit. I should probably know this. Are you going to go after this? I think 2.30. Okay. Do you know what Birkin you're getting more, huh? Yeah, it's a size 30 burgundy with gold accents.
14:57Good for it. And what a man of his word. Right. She deserves it. She deserves it. Like in my opinion, she was the best traitor. I don't think so. She was. She was on my team the whole time. If anyone brought my name up, she would like snapping them. Like Rob's not a traitor. But she was a faithful. But she was a traitor. She just didn't know. She was a secret traitor. She was like a double secret traitor. Okay. So tell me what you think the biggest mistakes that people made in the show were. Because I know my biggest mistake. Like, when Candace gave her throwaway vote for you. Yeah. Like, at that point, were you like, Candace, we're still in this together?
15:33Or were you like, I'm done with you? Oh. Because she was so defensive of Lisa. I had, the first time she voted for me, I had a little bit of hope. Like, I was upset about it. But then when we got to the turret, and it was like, she's lying to me, I'm lying to him. Because we both need shit. Like, it was like, we were not telling each other. I was like, it's over. I was like, there's no trust here in this turret. Well, because you know housewives don't go against housewives. I know that now. Uh-huh. You were so good. Did anyone here watch the show?
16:05Okay, so I've never seen traitors before. But now that I have seen it, do you think I would be a good trader? Or do you think I would be a better faithful? I don't know. I think it depends on, like, can you remain cool under pressure? Nope. Not at all, really? Nope. Yeah, you'd be a bad trader. Like, you really, like, kept it down. Like, I, and it just, it ate me alive. Everyone was like, and there's no way it's Rob. Like, behind the scenes, did you watch the show? I did. I watched it because I didn't tell any of my family or friends what happened. So, it was so fun to, like, watch them watch it.
16:41So, would you just be like, you have to watch? They weren't, like, so, you didn't tell your family that you won? They all assumed I won. But they didn't know how, so they were trying to watch. But yeah, my sister accidentally found out. She read an email. She helps me with like business stuff. Got it. So she accidentally found out, but no one else knew. They didn't want to know. How many siblings do you have? I have two older sisters and a younger brother. Who is gay. He is gay. I had no idea. Wow. So you're like, you know. Ally. Ally. Yeah. Would you ever go to the pride parade? Yeah. My brother wanted me to go with him, but I feel like.
17:19Would you wear rainbow overalls? Yeah, if I was at a pride parade, yeah. Okay, okay. So on the show, does anyone ever, like, hook up? No, I mean, you can't really, you know, it's very, like, once we're off camera, it's like lockdown. Like, you can't talk to anyone. Oh, really? Okay, so, but you... Well, not really supposed to talk about that. It's like Disney World. Don't talk about what happens behind the animatronics. What do you think happens behind Disney World? Well, there's just a bunch of like machinery and stuff that makes everything move, right? Hydraulics and whatnot. You think it's like the back rooms?
17:56Yeah, it's like the back. Is that something? I feel like that's something. I don't know what that is. It's a cultural reference that I just referenced that I am also not sure what it is. Okay. I think it's just like satanic underworld. Yeah, no, it's not like that. Do you still live in Alabama? I do, I do. Roll Tide. Roll Tide, yeah. Roll Tide. We have a Bama girl in here. Raise your hand. Roll Tide. Roll Tide. Tuscaloosa. Tuscaloosa. What's the taco place? Taco? Taco Mama. Taco Mama. You go to Taco Mama? It's not my favorite. I've been. You know what? Thank you so much. We were in Alabama for one day, and she's like, you got to go to Taco Mama.
18:35You got to go to Taco Mama. I'm looking up the reviews of Taco Mama, and everyone's like, I shit my pants. It's nostalgic. It's the picture of Margarita. Exactly. That's like it though. But what do we say? I hate fun. Well, well. You want to go out? How long are you in the city for? I'm here till tomorrow. Tonight's my last night. Should we go out? Sure. Really? Yeah, I go out with you. Really? Yeah. I feel like we'd have the best time. I think so too. Oh my God, I love you. Okay, so what's the difference between that you found on Traders vs. Love Island? Oh, like with Love Island. Well, I think.
19:20I'm sorry. Can I answer the question?
19:24Yes. Okay. With Love Island, I think it was just the main difference was my mindset. Like going into Love Island, like I'm like, oh, I'm in Fiji. I'm going to talk to like pretty girls. It's going to be great. I'm going to find someone. Maybe I'll get a girlfriend. But it's not like that at all. It's like it's like psychological torture and you don't sleep and it's like, okay, yeah, you really like this girl. Well, she's dead. we're taking her out of here you know it's crazy but you're not really playing a game but going into traders i'm like in my mind i'm like these are not your friends these are your opponents you know you're here to beat everyone at a game and win so i just had a very different mentality around the fireplace when you it was just you and mora and she looked at you and she said no I'm a faithful and you acting down we're like um you were like no like in your body were you anxious or were you like I'm about to fuck this shit up like no I was very anxious I was like oh shit oh shit oh fuck oh shit I gotta tell her that I'm a traitor was she angry in the moment she was she got over it so fast like she was she she literally looked like she went through every single emotion you could possibly have and at the end she was like Like, well played.
20:41I would have done the same thing to you. Exactly. Yeah. And so tell me about the strategy with getting Lisa out. Because that came as a surprise. I would say that was a surprise for me. It was that moment I feel like of like, okay, are we traitors together? Or like, is it any man's game? Yeah. Yeah, it was any man's game. But I think that she was going to go. like she wasn't convincing a lot of people that she was a faithful and so she was going to get banished it was a matter of time and something that was referenced a lot they didn't really talk about it a lot in the show but was something that was referenced all the time when we were talking in the castle about who could be a traitor who could be a faithful blah blah it's uh they talk about the history of the voting and like people that voted for donna night one they're like they have to be faithfuls because they voted for a traitor like immediately and so i wanted to kind of replicate that with Lisa.
21:36I wanted to vote with her as soon as the suspicion was on her so that when people looked back, that would have been like, well, Rob's a faithful. Like he voted for Lisa immediately. A traitor wouldn't do that.

23:01You were so smart. I didn't go to eighth grade, but... What? Oh, you were homeschooled? Till high school. I went to a real high school. Okay, and what was real high school like for you? It was a learning experience in many ways, more than just academics. What do you mean by that? I was just weird. I was weird, you know, because I didn't really have social skills. I still don't really have the best social skills, but yeah, it was a... Yeah, I didn't understand. I pretty much never wore clothes growing up. I just wore boxers or just shorts. I pretty much never wore a shirt. So when I started going to school, I didn't realize.
23:38I think, honestly, the biggest thing where I was like, these people are so different than me, was I would go to school, and if I had my body covered, I thought it was good. It's not really what it is. I would wear striped shirts with plaid shorts. I wore crazy outfits, and it was all hand-me-downs for my cousins and stuff. So I just kind of threw clothes on, went to school, never did anything with my hair or anything. I just went to school. and then I was like looking around I was like you know like I would really stand out. Right. Did you make many friends? I did. I did. I made a lot of really good friends in high school.
24:08You play football? I did play football. You like? I loved football. I loved baseball. Was it like Friday Night Lights? You've never seen Friday Night Lights? I've seen Friday Night Lights. Okay. And it wasn't really like that because we weren't that good at football. But was it still exciting like every Friday like the game? Yeah. I mean, like, in the South, like, football is, like, big thing. Like, everybody comes to the games. Everyone's family. Random guys you see at gas stations will be there for some reason. Aw. Yeah. What's your favorite Southern delicatessen? Delicatessen? Delicatessen.
24:44What is the word? Delicacy? Shut up. What is your favorite Southern delicacy? Oh, goodness gracious. is probably like biscuits and gravy. Do I know mine? Yeah. Gumbo. Ooh, that's a good one. Do they have good gumbo in Alabama? It's more of a Louisiana thing. I know that. But there's a lot of folks that can cook good. My best friend's dad makes a mean gumbo. He puts okra in it. You like okra? Fuck no. Oh. I hate okra. I like fried okra. What the hell? You can't hate okra but like fried okra. Because I don't taste the okra when it's fried. That's not true. It's true to me. What are you tasting? The fry?
25:30Like salts, salty. Yeah. Do you smoke weed? Rarely. You a fun high? No. You know what? I can see that. Yeah. I can see that you just get quiet. You're quiet. You're a quiet sweet boy. I go nonverbal. Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely I do. And then I just, I'll come up with the craziest conspiracy theories. I have to smoke alone or with one person that I trust with my whole being. What's a conspiracy theory you believe? I don't have any that I really believe, but I am interested in them. Okay, tell me some you're interested in. My favorite one is Agartha. Are you familiar? The Earth is Hollow. There's aliens in there.

26:10Oh, come on. No, I'm telling you. I'm telling you. Listen, okay, Antarctica. Convince me. Antarctica, right? Yes. Ever been? No. No. No one's ever been. and you can't go and even if you're a scientist and you have all this clearance you can go but it's like this little tiny part of Antarctica you can go you can't go there and you can't fly over it with an airplane and if you do they'll take you the UN every country owns Antarctica isn't that weird? isn't that kind of weird? who the fuck wants Antarctica? that's not true it's not like North Korea it basically is so no one lives in Antarctica There's a small scientific guild in Antarctica, but it's a very small piece of the land that's there.
26:55And you can't go anywhere else? You cannot go to Antarctica. You can't go. Please, someone fact check this. Look it up. You can fly over Antarctica, but it's rare that commercial airlines do. So it's rare that commercial airlines do, obviously, because they're not collecting a check because who the fuck wants to go to Antarctica? The airspace is not public domain. Oh, my God, Rob, I am just having a golly G-old time with you. Me too. With you, though, not me. And you know what my favorite moment in all of Traders was? What's that? You needed to get a drink. You picked up the glass, threw it in the air, caught it in the other hand.
27:28I said, oh, hell. I was like, did you see that? I didn't even see that. You didn't see that? You go, I need a drink. I was like, oh, my God. I do have pretty good hands. I've got good hands. Uh-huh. I did notice when I got the coin I like threw it up and flipped it I was like I got a shield and I was like why did I do that that was a little more true can you explain the shields I still don't understand I do feel like the challenges and stuff are super complicated but okay so shield basically is if you are a faithful and you have a shield you cannot be murdered that night so why I don't understand then why people aren't like give me the shield it's all so clearly like I'm a faithful I want the shield I don't understand why people were like, no one's going to take a shield tonight.
28:13Why? I completely agree. I thought that was the dumbest thing ever. Yeah, the one challenge where, I don't remember who it was, someone was like, no one take a shield or you're getting banished tonight. I was like. How would you get banished if you have a fucking shield? Yeah, I was like, hashtag, well, you can't get banished. You can't get banished. But you can't get murdered. But I was like, hashtag, thank you. Now we can murder whoever we want tonight. Right, exactly. I thought that was a crazy move for the faithfuls, but it worked out for me. Are you and Lisa still close? Yeah, I love Lisa.
28:40I die for Lisa. She's hilarious. Because she's such a good, she's been on the show. Oh, shit. Yeah. She's going to kill me for that. Why? Because I'm supposed to know everything Lisa's ever done. Is that what she says? Yes. She's one, she is, you know, she is such a professional. She's so one of a kind. Did she give you any tips on how to be on reality television? I know you had already done Love Island, but was she like, just, this is a different, because it's a different ballgame. Did she ever give you any advice? A ton of it. Not while we were there, but after, like, post-show, she's called me, like, several times and talked to me.
29:19Because, like, I get anxious. I get anxious about being talked about online and stuff like that. And, yeah, she's been so sweet, and she's called me and spoken with me about it and told me. Because she's been through it all, you know? I mean, she's a veteran. Well, you know what's interesting that I always find interesting about reality television is that reality, television stars, and I don't know if you've found this, are spoken about online. Oh my god!
29:51I didn't even see this. What is this? It's me. Obama!
30:05Who put this up here? We can just get rid of it. We saw. We saw. Yeah. Hi. Say hi. Hey. Can I give that to my mom? She would love that. Really? Yeah. Yes. This is for your mom.
30:26Okay, so what I find interesting about reality television and the way it's discussed is that it is discussed in the same way that you would go on Twitter and talk about a character on Grey's Anatomy. the difference with reality TV is that is you. Like you are, you are a character, but that is you as a person. So it hurts 10 times more. You can't be like, that was written into the scene. You're like, that is me. So do you feel like, obviously your season of love Island was the biggest to ever do it. Do you think that prepared you for what people were going to say about you on traders? Or did it, did it hurt just the same when people would say not nice things?
31:10yeah no honestly I think it if anything Love Island made it worse I think it's just like the kind of like just trauma from that like it because I'm not really someone to really care about what people think about me that don't know me but I mean I'm sure you know how it is like when when people say things about you over and over and over again online like you just it just gets to you more and more and more and then like things had settled down from Love Island to like a certain degree. But then, you know, this show was a hit and people are just talking again. But yeah, it's not fun, I guess. Of course not.
31:48Yeah, it's fine though. I'm okay. Yeah, you're okay. Yeah. You look good. Oh, thank you. You do too. Okay. Whoa. So it's so funny you say that. Have you ever gotten Botox? No. Have you? Wow. what's Beachwood Clinic? Brightwood. Brightwood Clinic. I went to go get a facial the other day called an Aqua Gold Facial. So it is a facial where they like inject little bits of Botox into your face, but it's not like Botox. Like I'm not getting Botox in my face. What is it? No, that explained it pretty perfectly. It's like a just teeny amount of Botox that they... But it's not like I can't, like I can still move my face and stuff.
32:33But as I was getting it I'm like hey So I've been seeing this thing that I Really want And it's Like neck Botox that Like pulls up your neck So you're like like this a little Like it makes your jawline more Defined and they were like You just want it and I was Like like right now and they're like yeah Just right we have it you can do it right Now so and I've always been so Hesitant to do Botox so I did it the other day And everybody keeps saying my jaw online looks so defined. It does look defined. Yeah. No, it's... Yeah. But when I go, it's a little tight. It's a little tight. I can't, like, you know, like, it's like...
33:17Yeah, really. Yeah. Do you feel like you don't have good mobility? No, I can do that, but I'm on Broadway now, so, like, you know, I gotta show my facial expressions. When do you leave tonight? I leave tomorrow. So do you want to come to the show tonight? What time is it? 7.30. Can I do that? Take a turn around. You know what? Don't you worry about it. I'm sorry. I'll get you a recording. Yes. Thank you. Of course. Where are you going next? Where are you off to next? I don't know. Watch what happens. Who's the guest? Who's the guest with him? Just me and Maura. Got it. Well, final two. Yes. Top two.
33:57What was your favorite part about filming Traders? What was your part where you're like, I am having fun right now? Um, probably the car ride out of there after I won. I was like, hell yeah. I'm done. Stop lying. Is it two weeks? Just two weeks of filming? Three. Three. Let me ask you something. Okay. The smoked salmon. Oh, yeah, yeah. What is the whole hullabaloo with the salmon? And why do they have so little? I don't know. Everyone gets their first, like, oh, the salmon! What would you eat on a night-to-night basis? Okay, dinner time, what would they serve? Chicken. There's a lot of grilled chicken.
34:33And you know that shit's been sitting the fuck out too. Yeah, it was usually cold. Ew. But I'm telling you, it was a huge step up from Love Island. Love Island was like, every day it was grilled chicken, and it was always somehow undercooked and overcooked at the same time. I felt taken advantage of. Okay. Slightly. Yeah. I mean, I think you were too. I mean, I think everyone felt that way. A little bit, yeah. Do you keep in touch with any of the cast? I know you keep in touch with Kendall. Yeah. I talked to Kendall, Kayla, talked to Serena sometimes, talked to Janae sometimes. But, like, I got love for all of them.
35:11Like, we all went through that together. And I really messed with everybody from that show. I mean, that show was, that summer, Rob, like, to me and my heart. Like, oh, my God, you guys couldn't hear Brat when it came out, could you? Mm-mm. We were having a Brat summer we didn't even know. Oh, my God, I'm going to start crying. Like I was in New York when Brat came out and I went to go see Louise and she looks at me and just goes, it's just so cunt. And like that moment for me, like shifted my life. Love Island was out. We were going out every night, listening to Brat, flying across the country, doing whatever.
35:50And at the same time, every single night we had you. It's true. When's your birthday? September 1st. Virgo? Yeah. That's why you want traders. Yeah, really? Very in control. Likes control. It's the only thing I know about Virgos. I feel like everyone always tells me I must be like super organized because I'm a Virgo. I'm not at all, though. I don't know how true that stuff is. Are you really into astrology? I mean, like I say I am. What do you think I am? You're probably a Cancer. You're probably a Leo. You're probably a Sagittarius. Pisces. I think that's all of them I know. Keep going. I don't...
36:32Libra. Come on, Rob. Come on. Taurus. Come on. You know these. My brother's really into astrology. Well, yeah, he's gay. And we'd love that for him. He lives here in New York City. Hi. How old is he? He's 25. Is he having the best gay time of his life? Yeah, he lives here with his boyfriend. They're the best. Are they so in love? They are. They've been dating for forever. How'd they meet? They met forever ago in Alabama, of all places. They found love in a broken place. Is that what it is? Hopeless, but you were there. Do you still listen to Beba Doobie? I do. I do listen to Beba Doobie. Beba Doobie.
37:24Beba Doobie. I said it right. You said Beba Doobie. Okay, whatever. Do you, what else have you been listening to these days? Do you know Ash Tuesday? Mm-mm. Do you know Brian James? Mm-mm. Well, you should listen to them. They're really good. Country? No. They're like indie, I would say. I love how much you love indie music. I do love indie music. Do you like Bon Iver? Mm-hmm. Have you heard his new album? I don't know. Maybe a song. No, no, no, no, no. Do you like the idea of like, do you get deep in your mind? Yeah, 100%. Okay, so this album is so spectacular. It's like, I don't know if I would describe it as a concept album, but it starts very melancholy.
38:05There's side one and side two, and it starts very melancholy. And then the second side, there's a song, and he says that this one lyric, like, that's a mood shift. He says, like, a hopeful lyric for the first time in the album. and when he says that lyric in that song on the second side of the album, the beat shifts entirely, and the rest of the album is very uplifting. That's cool. It is one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard in my entire life. I'm going to have to listen. It's called Sable Fable. Okay. You have to listen to it. I'm on it. I'm on it. What other indie artists do you listen to?
38:42Can we look on my Spotify? Yes. Hi, Spotify. Oh, I've been listening to Oasis recently. Top 10 Anime Betrayals by Ash Tuesday has been on repeat Dumpster Diving by Brian James has been on repeat these all sound like these all sound like songs that I think I would like Gucci Mane Swing My Door that's a little I don't like rap music a whole lot but that one how does it go? you want me to play it? sing it burn one burn one I'm a don't don't know definition of the south My vodas in our hand There's some holes in this house Swing my dough Swing my dough And you know they swing my dough I count 18-5 Every time they swing my dough Swing my dough Yeah, that's pretty It goes hard That sounds good Do you like listen to it as like a pump up song?
39:33Yeah, yeah I listen to it on the way to the gym And then at least once or twice while I'm at the gym Hey, so what do you do in the gym? What do I do in the gym? I lift weights Okay, how Like what is the timing of that? Like how long do you say you lift weights for? One to two hours What?
39:50Okay, so I do 30 minutes And they're like, you did so good, Jake What do you do? So do you want to know what I did today? Yeah, absolutely I had a push and pull day Okay, good So I did chest Bench press Bench press, and then I did incline press Yes, good And then I did cable flies Okay, good And then I did pull-ups One round cut it at that. How many pull-ups can you do? Eight. That's good. That's really good. Shut up. That's good. Should we go do pull-ups in the gym after this and see how many can you do? Right now, max 12. And I can do eight? Yeah. Not me gagging. Wait, like, so I'm like strong.
40:37You're super strong, Jake. You can, you can, you can only do 12? All right, now that you're talking all this shit, I could probably do 15. Okay. But I don't know. We'll have to see, honestly. Okay, so what made you decide to do... Wait, sorry, sorry. Before we move on. I can do pull-ups with just two fingers. You can now keep going. What do you mean you can do pull-ups with two fingers? I can do pull-ups with just two fingers. That's all I need. I got really good grip strength. Test it.
41:08Okay. Okay. Wow.
41:18what made you decide what made you decide to do Traitors over Beyond the Villa there was no chance I was doing Beyond the Villa I mean respect yeah I mean like not because of like drama or like anything to do with the cast like love them all it was just like it was in LA and they were like yeah like just move to LA it's a docu follow I'm like brother that's not what docu follow means like I don't live in LA and they're like no but like you're going to be coming to visit all of your friends. And I'm like, no, I'm not. I know. No, it's not real life. I love how true to yourself you are. Thank you.
41:53Do you still like call Alabama home base? 100%. 100%. I'm going there tomorrow. What are you most excited about to go home to? The warmth, ride my motorcycle. And it's like just about time for the snakes to start coming out. Tell me about the snakes. What do you want to know? Why? well I think that they are misunderstood creatures and I think they're really beautiful and I am passionate about sharing that with the world honestly what is beautiful about them they're gorgeous can I show you some pictures okay but how do you know like I'm confused like oh my god they scare the shit out of me like how do you how are you not like oh my god no I'm gonna show you the snake and you're gonna be like this snake's about to beat my shit up look at this thing.
42:42Look at that. Oh, wow. That is not the most beautiful. Oh, that is just gorgeous. That's like an alien. Yeah. It's an Asian vine snake for the folks at home. I hope you find such an amazing life. Thank you. I really like, wow. You are a good person, aren't you? I try. I try. I try my best. Do snakes have sex? How? With their sex organs, cloaca. But like, how do they like have sex? it's a lot of wrapping around. Do the snakes have brains? Yes. Do they like communicate with each other? Somewhat during mating season, yeah. What is the most proud you've ever been of a snake you've caught? I caught the rarest snake in Malta on accident.
43:36It was awesome. And what do you do with that snake? Just put it back where it was. So you have a good day But you took a pic It's like a meet and greet It is like a meet and greet For me it is It's a meet and greet And I get very excited Say hello Take a picture And let them go Okay so We have a fun new section That we're introducing To the show It's called Manny's Corner Manny raise your hand Hey Manny Manny likes to just Write a few questions out That she would like The answers to Okay It's Manny's Corner It's Manny's Corner How did Manny get a corner? Because Manny is one of the most funny and talented writers I've ever met in my entire life.
44:18That'll do it. If your trailer suddenly exploded and you had to move, would you get a house or still pretend to be humble? Yeah, I actually live in a house now. Breaking news. What kind of snake do I remind you of? The ones that have a whole egg in them?
44:38Sure, yeah. Egg eater. Go for it. You caught your first snake at four years old. Were your parents proud, scared, or absent? They were present and scared. Okay. Last one. People say you're hard to read. You were also homeschooled. Is it also hard for you to read? Yes. Okay. Well, I'm dyslexic, so. You are? I am. So is my brother and my mom. I stand with them. And that's Manny's Corner. That was great. Good job, Manny. She's quite the scornor. Okay, so Rob. Rob, what are you therapist about today? Therapist about? That's like angry, right? Yeah. People that stand up on airplanes right when it lands.
45:26You do that? Brother. Beep. Up. Why? Why? Because let me get my bag first. Why, though? You're not going to get off the plane any faster. Yes, I am. No, you're not. Yes, I fucking am. Maybe max three people faster than you were going to. We're taxiing. We're taxiing. We're taxiing. Beep. Oh, hell no. And this is me. This is me. You just wait? I just sit there until they open the door. Why? Because what is the point? I've been sitting for five fucking hours. Let me get my app. Oh, my gosh. So let me ask you a question. Let me ask you a question. We're in an airplane. on the aisle. Okay. Ding. Yeah.
46:13And then I'm like, fucking hell, okay. Your turn. Yeah, and then I get up and then I let you get out. Yeah, no. And then I'm like, do you want to get your back first or do you want me to step over you? No, I'd let you go and then I'd sit back down. Wow. Yeah. What a gentleman. What is your dream wedding? I don't think I have one. I think... You don't want to get married? I do want to get married, but I think, I guess my dream wedding is to marry the love of my life and it works out forever and we have beautiful children and a meaningful marriage full of love. My dream wedding is that I marry someone that I think is attractive, that is funny, but not too funny.
46:55You have to be funnier than... I would like to be funnier. I would like to make... I want to wake up every day and make them laugh, but my dream wedding would be like 150 to 200 people. Depending on who wants to come We could reach 250, 300 But I'd rather max it at 200 I would like it to be abroad Okay, destination wedding with 300 people You're a little selfish Okay It's a little rude 150 You know what? Maybe I'll do like a Charleston wedding Sorry, that's me I don't want to do Charleston I love Charleston, I don't want to do Charleston I think I want to do a wedding in Do you know what your dream wedding is?
47:38I want to do a wedding in Italy No I hate the food in Italy What the hell? I think I want to do a wedding I also Maybe No You should do it at Gulf Shores Alabama On the beach Oh my god That's her dream wedding Floribama She literally loves Alabama It's the best Do you know she has a group of girls from college? What sorority were you in? I was a cap at Alabama. What the hell? What the hell?
48:15She, like, really, she loved Bama down. Like, that is her Roman Empire. I think she will look at you and tell you she peaked in college. Oh, I would not say that. Okay, sorry. I think that me going to Alabama is, like, your Roman Empire. For me. Why? You know what I mean? Like, I feel like you love talking about the lore that I went to Alabama. You survived. She had this group of girls. Imagine having a friend group of 20-plus girls that all get along. No, that's not true. That's what I said. She goes, you're just toxic. There's no way. They're called the Peppas. The Peppas? Like the pig? Yes.
48:54They're going to love it. Say hi, Peppas. Hey, Peppas. They always come to my show. Do you know, by the way, I just saw this. One of the Peppas that she went to go see my show with, they posted a photo of Louisa at dinner and wrote, give her a raise. You know I saw that, right? I saw that and I was like, oh, this is public. Yeah. I love the Peppas. They really have my back. But you know who my favorite Peppa is? No. Put it out there. The one with that thick fucking accent and blonde hair. Oh, Ella? I don't know. Did you meet her at an airport? No, I met her at a show. And she was like, girl, I just love you so damn much.
49:32Claire Burton. that's for sure she's like i am louise's best friend we are a peppa like that i love her yeah alvarez she loves you yeah it's my favorite papa and vr i love that he's like are you looking for love right now no girlfriend tell me everything well i'm kind of just like keeping it like no no no no no no names no identities but just tell me like how you fell in love she understands me And she's very similar to me in the way that she communicates her emotions. And that is something I've, it's been hard to find for me. How do you like to communicate your emotions? Like what is your love language?
50:16My love language is quality time. Okay. And acts of service. That's really how I give love more. But yeah, I would say. What would you think my love language is? Gifts. receiving or giving both okay I think that's pretty valid I also think my love language is like affirmations words of affirmations like when I'm with a guy and he's telling me that he thinks I am attractive like it really makes me feel good inside or that he's more specifically like I am enjoying spending time with you okay can we FaceTime Lisa yeah she's not gonna answer I have wrinkles let me see no those are beautiful you might want to go into acting one day thank you text her and say important she'll answer trust
51:14obviously everyone has heard about poppy i feel like the soda market is such a hard market to infiltrate and poppy like has now i'm just preaching about poppy but they like really have become like a staple. If you don't know what poppy is though, it has five grams of sugar, ingredients you can love and prebiotics. Like I drink one a day. Honestly, I have one right here. The Shirley Temple flavor, which is my favorite flavor besides cherry limeade. Back in the day, when I used to post like a million times a day, I used to like do these like poppy jingles and I used to like sing about poppy. Like there was one that was like, do you like poppy?
51:47It's so good. Do you remember that? We are so lucky to have poppy as a new sponsor on for the season because I love them so much. I was in their Super Bowl commercial, not this year, but last year. It was like one of the coolest moments of my life. If you haven't yet, try the new Shirley Temple flavor. It is actually incredible. I felt like I used to have this thing where I would everywhere I would go, I would always get a Shirley Temple, but it wasn't like that big of a bit until someone I went on tour with, Meg. I love you, Meg. She photographed all my shows. Everywhere she went, she would get a Shirley Temple.
52:14So now Meg can always have a Shirley Temple with her because Poppy just released an incredible, incredible flavor. So thank you, Poppy, for sponsoring this episode and this season. I love you. You can literally find Poppy in probably any store near you. Oh, Rob, I really feel like we are, like, friends. Yeah, I thought we were before this, but... No, we were, but, like, I want to hang out. Dude, I'm down. Well, we're getting more as Birkin. Yeah. And is that Lisa? No, it's Sean. Who? Sean. Sean who? Sean, I know your last name. I can't remember it right now. Is it someone that I would know? He's just my friend.
52:55Like, we've been snowboarding. Okay, can I ask you a question? Red Motorcycle. Who has been styling you? I'd like to give them credit. Annie and Nora. Annie and Nora. Yes. She has been doing an excellent job with your outfits. I'm going to have to agree. Because they are still true to you, but you're elevated. So Annie and Nora, shout out you. Yes, shout out Annie and Nora. How long has she been styling you for? Twice. Okay. Right? Yeah, yeah. No, like, twice is in trips. Like, everything I've worn the whole time I've been in New York has been Annie and Nora. And then also some stuff in L.A., right?
53:32Yeah. Some photo shoots. Okay, well, what's next for you? I don't know. I know that's a weird question, but, like, do you want to take a beat for a second? I would love to take a beat. like dream dream scenario would be I don't do any shows like in the next year and then maybe I do a show after that but I just don't know how realistic that is because like here's the thing with me like basically what I'm like I don't want to do this forever I know that for sure but like I don't want to also kind of half-ass it and not really do as much as I can and then and then look back in 10 years and be like damn I should have done more I could have used this for my kids college you know what I mean like a thousand percent yeah and and then regret not capitalizing on momentum and you know all this stuff would you ever dwts was dancing with the stars yeah maybe you would I can't dance but that's the beauty of it all I've seen high school musical though so like I feel like no I think you would learn they they like when Alex did it she was in that dance studio seven days a week like you if you I like I'm a firm believer is if you like dedicate yourself hard enough to something you will get better you will do it you will you will improve that's true and I'm very competitive like I know if I did I know you're competitive I would give it my all like I would and that would be even more embarrassing because I probably still wouldn't be good.
55:02No, you have pretty privilege. Yeah, I know, but I'd want to be good at it. I don't like doing stuff I'm not good at, and dancing is one of those things that I just don't, I wasn't born to be a dancer. I recently started learning to wheelie motorcycles, and it was really hard. That is very dangerous. I would just like to tell you that gives me a lot of anxiety. I really don't want you to get hurt. I'm being dead serious. That freaks me out. No, I'm very safe. How can you be safe while wheelieing a motorcycle? I take it slow. Okay, I get better and better and better and better, and now I can do it for like a whole minute.
55:31That gives me really bad anxiety. Please be safe. Of course. Always wear a helmet. Always a helmet and maybe like a steel suit. I'll look into that. Oh, speaking of like fast moving cars, have you seen any of the Oscar noms this year? No. Not a single one? You're not a movie guy? I like movies. I'm just not like a big like pop culture person. So funny. because you're kind of like the face of pop culture sometimes. On occasion. I'm in the conversation, but yeah, no, I'm not really big on it. Do you watch any television? Do you watch any movies? I love, like, I like animated stuff. I like some anime.
56:17I love Avatar, Lester Bender, Parks and Rec. I loved that show. I like those kind of like The Office type stuff. I like funny stuff. but currently really haven't been watching too much television. So when you go home at night, what do you do? At night? Because you're not on, I assume you don't scroll TikTok. I don't get that vibe from you. On occasion I will. It depends. Like at the airport, that's what I'm doing. I'm on TikTok probably. Okay, but when you're in bed and you're sitting alone, the day's over. I'm probably going to sleep.
56:55Is that a foreign concept? Wait, I'm confused. Like, you just like, okay, sleep time. And you shut your eyes and you go to bed? You don't take anything? No.
57:08What's that like? I don't know. I just like, oh, I play Fortnite. I play Fortnite. Okay, there we go. Sometimes I'll play some Fortnite before bed, yeah. How do you deal with anxiety? Yeah, riding motorcycles is a huge help. It's like free therapy. And then, like, doing anything that doesn't have to do with me is also really nice because I think that's really can be sometimes hard to do especially when your job is like fucking like go talk about yourself on a podcast or like go do like be on a show or something you know whatever but yeah I think like doing something that has nothing to do with myself like helping someone being with my grandpa helping my mom with something doing something like that like is so good because you're like holy shit like oh we're all in this like we're I'm just a person I don't know does that make sense at all?
57:54It reminds me of that scene in the Beyonce documentary on HBO. I forget what it's called. It's like if I something about dreaming and she says that she stands by the ocean sometimes because, you know, as a public figure, sometimes you can feel like everything you do is so important, but she stands by the ocean to like remind herself that like it's nothing like you're nothing. Yes. And so just is that is the mom is helping your mom and your grandpa your ocean? Yes, and the creek and space. I think about space sometimes. That calms me down so much. What do you think about space? It's kind of the same thing as the ocean.
58:32Just like thinking about how insignificant I really am in the big scheme of things is a very peaceful feeling. But can I ask you a question? Because I struggle with this a lot. Yes, it's like, okay, who cares what anyone has to say about you? But then when that's our job and that's how you make money for your kids and your life. And if people hate you, then you can't, then your job, then you don't have a job. It's like, what do you do? Like, does that not give you anxiety? It doesn't. That doesn't just because of the simple fact of like, if you just are being yourself, it doesn't really matter.
59:10You know, at the end of the day, like if people end up hating me and I know like things can get twisted so easily, especially with reality TV, you can be villainized or made look a certain way. But like if you're always being yourself and you're true to yourself, then you really can't go wrong because if that ever does happen, then it's like, all right, I just move on. But if I ever start trying to act a certain way to get people to like me, to do, you know, performative type of thing, then that's when you, I think, will really get into trouble with that kind of stuff. Because it's like, oh, you're fake.
59:41You're fake, which is going to hurt you on the inside, But then also it's like everything everyone says about you isn't even true. Anyway, you're not even real. It's not even you. What's the most, what's something you've read once and been like, that is so far fetched and everyone believed it? I feel like I've had so many of those things. I can't think of anything on top of my head, but I've definitely seen that quite a lot. And do you interact or do you just let go and let God? I pretty much never interact. I did recently though. I was on a snowboarding trip and I was playing poker and I got really drunk.
1:00:14and then we quit playing poker and I got on my phone and I was just like keyboard warrior. Just like, no, no, no, no, no. It's crazy. It's bad. Did you regret it? I woke up and I was like, shit. But I had to snowboard so there's no time to think about that. No hangover? Tequila soda because like no hangover. But then also like. Sorry? Tequila soda. Okay, I've been struggling so much with my hangovers. I went out last Friday night and then I had two shows the following day. I was Are you drinking like sugary No I drank dirty martinis with vodka all night Yeah I feel like that would be not that bad Maybe try a tequila soda I'm gonna do a tequila soda I think it's also kind of hydrates you a little bit Because it's water with it And also what I'll do is if I'm gonna be drinking a lot I will drink a glass of water in between every drink And that'll also No hangover What's your favorite place to visit Am I asking the most random questions?
1:01:13I just want to get to know you. I'm here for it. I'm having a good time. What's your favorite place you've gotten to go to because of starting from Love Island to now, what's your favorite place, you can't say Fiji, that you've gotten to go to? For work? Yeah. Like work only? I mean, does catching snakes count as work? No, just for reality. Okay, yeah, yeah. No, no, no, not just for work. Not just for work. Just like you've made money. even if just like you made money you could take yourself somewhere that you never thought you could take yourself i mean that's hard because i i traveled so much before all this like for snakes those are my favorite places but i but like for work like that i've been to i don't know i mean like places that i would never go like i would never go to london on purpose i would never go to scotland on purpose because it's like cold and stuff but like those it was cool to see all that stuff uh and i'm like grateful that i had the opportunity to like go and get paid to do that right because i wouldn't ever go there right you know just for fun so it's that's cool like i do appreciate that what is your favorite meal in alabama probably sonic oh shut up uh no it's probably yum yum thai sushi it's a it's really if you ever come to florence if i ever get you down there to catch some snakes and hang out you know what though is i can't i've been kind of of like ruminating on doing, I take the show on the road sometimes and I take it on tour.
1:02:38And we kind of overdid it last time. We did like 50 something dates over the course of the year. It was a lot. But I'm thinking if I do like one night only in a few places, Alabama would obviously have to be one of them. Fayetteville, Arkansas would have to be one of them. If I do that, I would love to go to Yumtai Sushi with you. Have you been to Yumtai Sushi? It's sick. I graduated from Prattwell High School. Oh, okay. Mountain Brook. Where'd you graduate from high school? Shoals Christian. Do you know that? Mm-mm. A lot of people went to Alabama from there. Yeah. Do you ever wish you went to college?
1:03:14I did go to college. What? I went to college. What the hell? Where'd you go? University of North Alabama. We're rivals? U and A? No. No. We are, like, newly D1. Okay. Did you have fun in college? Had a blast. And then what made you say, let's do Love Island? I just was like, okay, let's do it. Did you apply like on a whim? I didn't apply. They DMed me on Instagram. Shut up. You were recruited like Cindy Crawford. Yeah. Wow. How beautiful is that? It was beautiful. It is crazy. I was actually thinking about that. She posted, the girl that recruited me posted on her story, like, never know when a random DM is going to go.
1:03:59because I was on Fallon. And she was like... How was Fallon? That was so cool to see you on Fallon. I saw all the photos and everything. You looked amazing. How was it? It was cool. He was really nice. He seemed like a genuine person, which was surprising and nice. He was cool. My sister cried. And that was very sweet. Yeah, my family was really proud. My friends from back home were really proud. I think for them, they were like, wow. Late night. Yeah. Late night's like the crumb de la crumb. I just did my first late night as well. Yeah? Yeah. How did you feel? I felt, I got there and I was really, really, really quiet because I was super anxious.
1:04:43And then I drank a Celsius and I kind of like opened up a bit. I got excited. And then right before I went out, I did. Do you ever do like these breaths where you go. I do that and it like calmed me down. Let's try that. And then I walked. I always think of anything scary. I learned this from like when I went on tours. Like you're just jumping into really cold water or like ripping a bandaid off. And like once you're in the water, like you're stuck. Also, like you have to remind yourself that like sometimes I know this is a toxic way of thinking. But if you're just like, no, like you are stuck.
1:05:23Like you have to do this right now. You can't turn around and not do it. Like you have to do it. So put on a fucking smile, act relaxed and do it. Cause you're here and you're doing it and there is no turning back. Like when I would do a show, I'm like people bought tickets to this. I'm not going to be like, I can't do it. I'm doing it. So just like you have to like set your mindset. Like this is happening. I'm also on really, really, really, really heavy medication. Are you? No. Would you ever? Yeah. It seems like you don't need it honestly. Yeah. Did you ever answer what you were therapist about?
1:05:59Yeah, people standing up on airplanes. Right, right. Okay, I'm going to go pee really quickly if that's okay with you. Go piss, girl. I thought you'd like that one. You knew I did. And then we're going to do the tell me what's wrongs. Okay. Do you know what those are? I think I could figure it out.
1:06:21Hey, Lisa. How you doing, sweetheart? I'm with someone that wanted to talk to you. We were just talking about how much we love you. Shut up. All my boys are together. Are you kidding? I love this so much. I miss you. Hi, I miss you, Broadway star. How is it? It's good. It's good. But I want, Harry needs to make me pasta. Oh, honey, done. I'm going to have you boys over. Should we both go over? Can Rob and I come over together and Harry can make us pasta? Done. Anytime. Morning, noon, or night. Yes, absolutely. Wouldn't that be so fun? That would be so fun. Oh, I miss you so much. I miss you and you know I love both of you so much.
1:07:14What are you doing together right now? The podcast. You're on the podcast. I am? Yes. Oh, I'm looking so cute. Thanks a lot, Rob. No, you look fabulous as always. Yeah, I was about to say, your skin's glowing. You know, I got Botox for the first time yesterday. Look at his jawline. Congrats. Wow, it takes a minute to kick it. Yeah, that's what everyone's saying. That's what everyone's saying. But why did you get Botox? Because I was at a facialist, and they were like, we have it. And I was like, fuck it. Exciting. Exciting. exciting. I love it. Well, you're so gorgeous anyway. Oh, well, I love you.
1:07:58And I miss you. I love you. I miss you. I'm so thrilled that you called. I get a text message from Rome that's just as important. And I'm like, what the fuck is that? I go, is this for me? Hi. And he's like, yes. Cutest thing. I'm so happy you picked up. We love you so much, Lisa. I love you. This made my day. You made our day. We love you. And I'm going to see you soon. I hope so. For pasta. Yes, for pasta. Harry Hamlin's pasta. And is the Birkin bag in the works? Is it working? I'm going with him. I'm going with him to get it. Oh, my God. You're kidding. Yeah, I'm excited. Thank you again. Because, respectfully, he needs a gay man to show him and make sure that it's correct.
1:08:39Okay, I am so happy about this. I need to see everything. I'm sure I will, but I need to see the whole Birkin situation once it happens. We'll record it for you. Okay. I love you, boys. I love you. All right. Love you, Lisa. Bye. Thanks for picking up. Bye. She really is the best. She is. She actually is. She, like, when she came on my show, like, it was one of the best episodes I've ever, like, it was some of the most fun I've ever had. She is so professional. And, like, you know when someone, like, is professional, like, okay, so, like, she plays on Housewives, right? Like, somebody that, like, fights with people, right?
1:09:15But you can tell for her that it is a job and that she's an actress. And it is her, but it's also a job. And you can tell that in her heart, she is a really good person that really, really cares about the people she loves. I completely agree. Yeah. Yeah. No, she's great and she's hilarious. I'm constantly laughing whenever I'm with her. She's so funny. Okay, well, are you ready for the Tell Me What's Wrongs? I accidentally Venmoed my very recent ex$300 instead of$30 for something I owed him for. We broke up on bad terms and haven't been talking, but I am a woman of my word. He is not. Now he is ditching my calls, texts, et cetera.
1:09:56What the fuck do I do? How does she get that$270 back? I would start telling all of his friends. Like get him to pay me back. Yeah, because that would be embarrassing probably. If she knows his friend, she'd be like, hey, your friend is like, he stole my money, so I can have it back. Also, maybe we can take a moment right now. I don't know you, but Venmo, if you are seeing this, please help this girl get her money back. $270, but please, please help this girl get her money back. Wow, that was very good of you. I told a guy I loved hiking to seem outdoorsy, and now I'm on our second seven-mile hike on an incline with no service.
1:10:40By the way, I'm wearing platform Converse. How do I survive this? And this is why it's important to be authentic in relationships. Yes, 100%. This happened to me once. What happened? A girl said that she loved hiking, and I took her hiking, and she had never been hiking. I hate hiking. And I respect that, honestly. like you know what i would like you to sit here and tell me what you enjoy about it so to be so so for real i really don't like hiking that much it's just necessary to do what i do want to do which is find cool snakes you know like that's the mission but i wouldn't go like if we were somewhere where it's cold and they're like let's go on like a four mile five ten mile hike i'll be like I'm good like there's no snakes like I'm not gonna find anything cool like I'll take a picture of like something right I'm not really trying to do all that for real with the snakes like do you like would you in a dream world like host like tourist like tour groups on like snake tours is that like what you would want to do it would be cool but like I feel like it would get redundant I'd get bored of catching the same.
1:11:52Because even now, like, I've caught the same species in Alabama so many times. Like, I still enjoy that. But, like, I get so excited being in range, like, in habitat for, like, a species I've never seen before. Finding that, like, oh, it's just so exciting. It's like Pokemon, you know? So would you say the dream is to make enough money to be able to provide for your wife and your kids and travel around the world and just catch snakes for the joy of it? Yeah, yeah, straight up. Yeah, that's perfect. That is really beautiful. And I really, really think that that will happen for you. I think you're right.
1:12:28Would you ever want to do a show where it's you traveling across the world catching snakes? Maybe. It would have to be the right thing. You know, it'd have to be authentic. It'd have to be real. Because with these kind of like Docky Falls and stuff, a lot of them are not really real. It's all set up and like... So could you self-fund it? and see I think I think almost a better thing would be just a YouTube channel right yeah right but I'm just really bad with all that stuff so I need to get like a production company or someone that would help me make a really good YouTube channel and do that and then I could bring people like like would you go snake catching with me for like a YouTube video I would love to go snake catching with you it would be a blast I feel like I would are you like around in the next few months yeah I'll be here I'll be in like where would you want in America yeah where would you like where If I'm like Rob, let's go take a trip and catch snakes, where would you want to go?
1:13:18I would say let's just go to Miami. Let's go to South Florida and let's find some pythons. And then go to 11 after? No. I've never been. What? No. Everyone says you got to go. 24 hours. Scary. It's scary. It's drinking. Oh, I'm having a time. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe. Okay. We'll do the snakes and then we'll talk about 11 maybe. I will go to the Hard Rock. I like... You like the Hard Rock Cafe? I like a little bit of blackjack, you know? Okay. I like the one where you spin it. Yeah. You like gambling? I actually quit gambling. I lost$20 ,000 in Vegas last time I was there. Rough. Yeah. This girl in my class has a huge crush on my professor.
1:14:07She won't stop asking him random questions in the middle of class at the top of her lungs, including asking him about his family, girlfriend, etc. I know this is annoying, but it's at a point where we're actually missing information. Bitch, really? You care about missing information in class? We need because they keep chatting intermittently. The teacher isn't immediately shutting this down because she's hot as fuck. Do I slash we get involved? Why would you ever snitch? Yeah, no. Why would you... First of all, first of all, Is the information really that important? What are you learning? And who's winning here?
1:14:46You know what I mean? Let the girl get her bag. Like, if they keep, I mean, I guess he has a girlfriend, but it was always, always, always my dream in college to fuck my professor. Like, always my dream. Like, I wanted him to take me, like, for, like, notes and then, like, fucking, you know, like, that video, like, where the gay guy got fucked in Congress. Like, that was, like, my dream with a professor. I don't know that video but yeah no I'm sorry you didn't get to fulfill your dreams no my professors were like 80 and they would always fail me so was it more of a hypothetical thing she's like should I tell on her for like wanting to fuck a professor in your situation was there a specific professor no I wish I still get butterflies thinking about it I literally but back in the day I've learned how to be a better flirt.
1:15:39Like once I, I have gay friends now. I used to not have gay friends. Right. And having gay friends is very important because like, you know, there are certain questions you can't ask your girlfriends and your girlfriends will be like, ew. But, cause you know. Yeah. Up that. I get it. Yeah. But like, when you have gay friends, you can ask them like, how to flirt? How do you do? Like, and so it's very important and I think if I had gay friends back in college, I would have been able to find a professor to fuck. I think, I think he might be, I think he might be right. I don't know. Yeah. But yeah, no, I'm against this.
1:16:11I'm against the snitch always. Always. Have you ever snitched on someone? I don't think so.
1:16:20Actually, you want to do me a favor really quickly? Oh, yeah, whatever. Do you see that camera right there? This one? Ask Matt. Say Matt. Matt. Is it true? Is it true? And now do that all at once. Matt, is it true? Did you do it? Or are you? Or are you? What is this about? It's a long bit. I just did it on the news, so don't worry. Okay. I found out the guy I've been hooking up with has a girlfriend because she requested to follow me, and her bio says two years with my favorite person. With his at? I mean. Get out. I've been seeing this man for a couple of months. She must have requested to follow me because she's suspicious, as I would be, or he's been talking about me.
1:17:07Do I tell her or just ghost him? So I would double check. I would check my facts. Yeah, 100%. I would check my facts. Do not go to the man first. Do not give him the upper hand. Check your facts. Check your mutuals. Check what's going on. If she's dating him, DM her and say what's going on here. I'm with that. And that's that. Yeah. I moved to a new city five months ago where I didn't know a soul. One of my girlfriends knew a guy that moved here recently too, so she connected us. We quickly became going out buddies And when we do it's usually just the two of us Last weekend after a night out We hooked up I was in a long term relationship for about three years before this So I'm super confused I've death caught feelings for this guy But I can't tell how he feels I'm not the hooking up type at all And I'm worried I'm about to be in either a situation Or have to cut him off entirely He's one of my only friends here Making girlfriends postgrad is hard help So to make girlfriends I don't know what city you live in.
1:18:07I know this sounds like intimidating. I would really see if there is a run club in your area. My best friend Brett met so many friends doing the Venice Run Club in California. Really and truly go and find a run club to make girlfriends. It really is just such a way because like that it's a bunch of people that also like want to make friends. I think open communication in any relationship, whether it's an actual relationship or just hooking up, is so important because then that's going to cause hurt. That's what causes hurt, basically, I think, when something like that's happening is when one person is thinking one thing's going on and the other person is thinking something else.
1:18:48So it's just better just to talk about it, even if it's awkward, get it out of the way. Are you on the same page or are you not on the same page? And then if you're not on the same page, maybe you should cut it off. Yeah. I faked knowing how to play guitar to impress this guy, and now he wants to jam with me this weekend.
1:19:10I feel like that's such a girl thing to do. No, this seems like a gay man. I don't know. Maybe it's a girl. I don't know a single chord. Do I come clean or learn overnight? Hope I'm so stressed. I think it is so endearing if you tell him that you were lying just because you liked him so much and you wanted to impress him. 100%. It is so sweet and so endearing. Yeah. Come clean. It's endearing. Is there a prescription I can give for that? A prescription is like a piece of pop culture, a movie or something that we give people. Like, is there a movie that somebody pretends to do something or be something that, yes, Louise?
1:19:4427 Dresses, the sister. 27 Dresses, the sister does what? She pretends to like be a vegan and love hiking. She pretends to be a vegan and love hiking. I would watch 27 Dresses. James Marsden. He's in that movie. I met him one time. Oh, okay. I was very confused as to where you were going with that. Do you watch Paradise? I don't know what that is. What is that? Oh, my God. That was really horrible, what just happened. It's a show. Just go into it blind. It's the best show on television. Not even kidding. You would love it. James Marsden's in it. It's amazing. Yeah. All right. And that was it for the Tell Me What's Wrongs.
