In short

Cassidy and Will (and their close friend group) unpack a chaotic, alcohol-heavy weekend and the emotional fallout—hangxiety, jealousy/insecurity, therapy habits, dating missteps, and “therapist” style reframes—plus stories from New York, Miami, Atlantic City, and college.

0:25Surprise pussies! Welcome back to Therapus. Today we have on two of my very best friends, Cassidy and Will. You might know Cassidy as the one I always prank on my TikToks and Will as the very talented singer and one of my dear best friends as well. I love them so much. They're so important to me and we had so much fun filming this. I'm just letting you guys know in advance, I've never been more hungover while filming an episode of Therapist in my entire life. I have like a gauze around my arm because I got an IV. I was shaking. Like, I just need you to prepare that this episode jumps all over the place.

1:02I've never experienced a hangover like this, but I'm putting it out for you guys. Just enjoy it. I love you all. To submit Tell Me What's Wrongs, go to pastthatpuss.com, click Tell Me What's Wrong, and leave a name and number if you're feeling fancy. Okay. I love you, pussies.

1:18Are you nervous? A little. What do we have to talk about? Wait, is this what it's going to be like for two hours? Has it been rolling this whole time? Yeah. Do you not do an intro? What? Hi, pussies. Welcome back to Therapist. Today we have on Dr. Cassidy Brown. Dr. Brown to you. Dr. Brown. She's a physician. Where did Dr. Brown come from? It was the Cheerwine flavor. I don't remember that. Dr. Brown soda? Yeah. Dr. Brown soda. Yes. Are you going to introduce me? It's just like crazy. And we have Will. Seriously? Yeah. It's nothing else. Hi, folks. Welcome back to Therapist. Today we have on Cassidy and Will.

2:03I'm going to cry. Hi. Why are you being so quiet? I don't know. I don't really know what to say. I'm nervous, too. I feel like you're nervous to do it with Will and I right now. Are you? Okay. I'm really excited for our dinner tonight. How spicy are you going to make your soup? Really spicy, but I honestly don't know if I'm going to have time to eat it. Why? My flight's at 930. So is everyone okay? Like, really quick. No one's okay. They have rice with grilled shrimp. Yeah. And like a dark sauce. Absolutely. But Cass can't get it. I also can't eat it, so I don't know why you're telling me that.

2:35I thought you were moving your flight. No, I'm not moving it. He lied. I don't even know why he said that. I also, should we just tell the camera why we're all in a little bit of a miserable state right now? I think that's important. Yeah, that's fine. Because no one has anything to say. We slept for three hours. I slept for one. I actually don't think I slept. I haven't had scaries this bad. I can feel your, like, I can feel your scaries. And I think you should have them today.

3:03Not going to lie. I kind of agree. Wait, why? You were a little tyrant last night. He was a tyrant. What do you mean I was a tyrant? I mean. Should we go from the beginning? Have you not? Have you not told me everything I've done? There was something we honestly didn't want to tell you. I know. We were debating telling you, but we didn't. You're going to panic. Are you kidding? are you pranking me we're pranking you we're kidding see that joke can't hit when we're feeling like this are you no we're fully kidding i actually we're fully kidding okay but you were he was insane last night for sure um i haven't seen that energy from you in a minute should we give an example of what you did or do you not want to talk about that right now would that be what so last night do you want to explain or do you do i you can start and i'll add in okay real quick though just before we get into everything jake louise just texted me she wants to let you know that we did get aristotle confirmed for no way that's epic 11 a.m tomorrow no way that's epic oh my god i'm so fucking excited do you want to come over to meet him i would love to i'm obsessed with him fuck that's awesome he's gonna do 12 30 tomorrow is that fine yeah that's perfect okay i can be there how would i intro him though i don't know because you've had like Jay Shetty and Mel Robbins on and stuff.

4:21So you can like, when we film the intro, be like strapping for another one of those types of episodes. I don't know. Yeah. And it's at 1230. It's at 1130. 1130? 1130. You would honestly love this guy that I'm having on tomorrow. Wait, I'm actually just upset and I cannot leave. Oh, you have to change your fight. I'm having like really bad anxiety. Wait, Sarah, we just, we booked, we have a cool podcast guest coming tomorrow. Have you, do you know Mel Robbins? Yeah, I do. Okay. Have you ever seen her podcast with Aristotle? No. It's like they do, like he does this philosophy talk, and he's coming on tomorrow.

4:57Honestly, I don't need to be there for that. You think I would like to watch that tomorrow? Does that intrigue me? You've seen Aristotle's shit. I don't even know who Aristotle is. Are you guys fucking with me? I feel high right now. Jake's making me feel high. You've never seen his shit No Are you fucking with me Am I crazy I've definitely seen you His stuff We love him On the calendar Can I see him He's hot too Can you He's really cute Yeah If he's hot I'm down honestly And he's like Philosophy vibes You guys get along really well I feel like You know me well enough To know that's not my vibe I'm a little confused Yeah I'm scared

5:51is everyone is everyone fucking with me i feel like i'm on like a who's aristotle okay just we'll come back to it later history what

6:04yes can we come back later yeah i'm feeling my shot are you um no i'm not gonna lie that was huge that shot maybe maybe that was a reflection of me that was a big shot I mean do I finish mine cause wait what the yes I'm literally gonna get blacked out and you're gonna be sober okay yeah I mean I had one shot but still it's pretty big okay you'll know who this is Jake are you angst why am I feeling like you're giving you look like you wanna kill me you look green are you okay he's single dude you guys are totally totally messing with me right now no we're not Who is Aristotle?

6:45He's a philosopher, motivational speaker, and he has a book of poetry. Okay, well, I can skip that. I think I'm okay. I do need some motivational energy in my life. I'll read you some of his work. I mean, I'm burning up. We can get back to this because we should always start that show. Can we start the show? I think we should too. Okay, I don't think I'm ready to talk about last night. You are kind of in denial. I can feel like you have – I feel your scaries right now. but like I have scaries like the whole night was scaries but I thought it was funny I thought it was really funny also like it was really fun well and I got in a fight we did about what I mean like I was at the day party party no I wasn't wait why would I be oh Cassidy Brown I was not mad at you why the fuck was I mad at you were mad at him oh yeah he's always mad I wasn't mad at you that's he's doing this for the show because I don't, I wasn't mad at him.

7:40You were mad at me last night though. Why was it? I was, but that was stupid. I was like paranoid. Because I was feeling insecure. Insecure. So it wasn't a me thing. Not at all. I was making things up. I told you. I mean, I can't say exactly what I was talking about. I was making shit up. This is what I do. Like I literally make things up when I'm drunk. No, a thousand percent. You know, but you did nothing. Hi, can you explain? I wasn't mad at him at the date party I saw it I think I made it up He did I was like wait He likes to stir things and I know that You know I wasn't mad at you I was like whoa No wait I wasn't We left and he was not happy I was just unhappy Oh he was pissed and left early I was with him I went in the car What did he say about me in the car I didn't say anything bad about you We were honestly blasting music Yeah we were playing pyramids You think you could hit the high note in pyramids Hit it.

8:37Your voice is right there. Pyramid. That one. Have you ever heard it? Wait, I don't know how the song goes. Can I play it? No, sing it. Sing it. I can't sing it. Just hum it. Hum it. I can't. Please, please, hum it. Please, we'll close our eyes. I actually don't remember. We'll close. Everyone close their eyes. What do you want me to do? Sing it? No, just hum it, Cass. Hum it? Just hum it. Can I just play it? No, sing it or hum it. Dude, hum it.

9:05Pyramid.

9:09do you know what song we're talking about i think i do it is can i say one thing that that song i will say goes down in history that's the best song ever i know i know the glee version do you know which one it is no frank ocean okay well frank ocean is also awesome it's charise Ayaz fucking slaps. Holy shit. What does Ayaz sing? Reply. Yes. That's your one. And cheerleader. I don't know which one that is. Can you hit that note or no? In Pyramid. I actually don't remember how it goes. One thing I will say. One thing I will say. Will played his music when I was in New York. And I actually freaked out because I was weak in the knees at your voice.

9:52Did you promise? Swear to God. Okay. Yeah, it's amazing. It was really pretty. We'll serenade you anytime. I was weak in the knees. We kind of have a thing for each other. Well, we do. That's just obvious. It's just Will and Cass. Do you get jealous about that? No. Not even a little? I'm happy for you guys. That's sweet. Thank you. So what should we talk about? Jake's like literally, I feel like he's not having it with us right now. I know. I'm having a great time. Nolan, are you having a good time? I'm having the best time. Are you having a little bit of anxiety? Nolan, I love you. What? Are you just having anxious thoughts?

10:26You still have your band on. I know. I'm having scary. I know. I feel it. Like, I know when you feel that way. I didn't even get to like laugh at you last night because honestly, I was running back and forth from a fucking car because Jake - You have to give context, please. I'm giving context. Okay, just give context. Can I, I'll give like a little, yeah, I'll give something. Honestly, Nolan, you'll love to hear this story. I, Jake all of a sudden was in protective mode, which I actually love when you get protective, but that was crazy. How did this happen last night? I don't know why. We got home at like five in the mornings.

10:59Like how did this happen last night? I didn't go home with you. I literally didn't go home with you. Did he drive you home? Who did I go home with? Jake, did we go home together? What did he play? What type of music does he play in the car? That was it. Future. That's hot. Also, my kids will be blasting Future when they're younger. I will be turning that shit up in the car. Yeah. Obviously. You know, Cassie was playing music off SoundCloud, like regular songs. I still use SoundCloud. That's epic. I'll explain why. When you use SoundCloud, they don't have a volume limit. You don't every day get the like volume needs to be turned down.

11:31Like this is fucking dangerous. I play it the loudest it can be on SoundCloud because it's louder than Spotify. Why is SoundCloud weird to you? You can't cue anything. It's like. It's kind of weird. I guess I only do it for volume. I like the orange factor of it. I think it's like cooler. What? Wait, seriously, what? Could you elaborate? What? That just reminded me of the comment I made in the seaplane, and I actually wanted to cry because I was so embarrassed. You weren't there. No, it was actually embarrassing. We were on the seaplane from New Jersey to Boston, and the guy goes, all right, we're landing in Massachusetts.

12:15It's like, is this home for any of you? Cass goes, it's home to none of us. wait can i just give context i was there was no context for that i was yes there is i'll get this sound so fucking good should we do that instead cast you're not here for dinner i'm not here for dinner um hey it's really hot in here i'm like actually dripping i feel like jake's miserable right now having a very good time can i go back to that comment i made yeah the reason i made it for two reasons. I glitched in the moment because I actually was so hungover. It was insane. And I grew up going to Boston twice a year. I was born there.

13:01I know. I honestly like even more of a reason for us to be together.

13:08You have great teeth. We share a lot of similarities. Are you sure? Yeah. They're a little small. They are, but they - Have you noticed that? Well, now I am, yeah. Okay. Mine are really small. My teeth are like yellow. though. No, they're not. Oh, we have similar teeth. You guys do have similar teeth. I have big teeth. Remember when I brushed my teeth in college five times a day? No, guys, it was... Cass was addicted to brushing her teeth. I had to. People are addicted to washing their hands. And then she would wear white strips every night. Wait, that's kind of epic, though. I missed that phase because now I feel like my teeth are getting yellow.

13:40Like, I think the worst thing you can do is have bad breath. Totally agree. That's my pet peeve. Like, I'd rather have BL. I have bad breath. the god no wait really no you don't remember how sometimes he doesn't brush his teeth that's maybe he's gonna cut that out but he that freaks me out when you don't brush your teeth i get it though sometimes i'm just like i can't do this right now i get that but also don't you feel dirty yeah and then i brushed them who had bad breath last night nope wasn't last night holy shit. This was the worst thing ever. My plane ride here, the guy next to me actually had the worst breath ever.

14:20Ever. And it actually, like when someone has bad breath, it's just like. Wait, you could smell it just sitting next to him? Yeah. He probably had a cavity. Probably had a cavity. Maybe. Have you ever had a cavity? No. Hello. I actually haven't. Well, that would check out actually. I am insane about brushing my teeth. That's kind of a flex. It is. I've never had a cavity. I do not believe that for a second. You've never had a cavity? No. You don't push your teeth? Yes, I do. You've had four cavities? I've had four cavities, yeah. How bad does it hurt? Pretty bad. It's not great. Hey, I feel god-awful.

15:02I'm not going to lie. I'm, like, crashing out. Can we please talk about last night? I can't, Cass. Like, I'm freaking out about it. we just have to let but you have to set the stage agree like so basically we need to let them know why we're feeling the way we're feeling cause we went out and drank and we were together Alice answered the phone today and goes I just feel like every time you and Jake go out together it just never ends well it doesn't it doesn't it's actually really bad I've never seen you drunk is he being for real wait what yes you have sorry last night did did but you weren't drunk last night Yes, I was.

15:39I think he was, yeah. Are you drunk from that shot? Hello? So Jake tried to kick. Wait. I asked you a question. What did you say? I said, are you drunk from that shot? No, but I think I might need to take another one because I'm feeling pretty god awful. Okay. Do you want one? Jake tried to kick who? Kick Cassidy's mans out of the party last night. It wasn't even a party. He just was being protective and he said, hi, wrap it up. You need to go home. Thank you, Nolan. and I think that was honestly pretty sad. Thank you. I did feel bad about that. Are you not going to do another one with me? Do you want me to?

16:22Kind of. Can I do half? Like a little baby one? Thank you. I'll do a baby. Jake, you're making me anxious. I'm really anxious. I know, I'm feeling it. It's giving me anxiety. I tried to get in the car with you and him. So, Will, thank you. Will tried to get in the car. Also, this is like, he's so chill and so easygoing. If this was any other guy, he probably would have never spoken to me again. Did he do you dirty at all? I think looking back, no. I don't think he did. He didn't. I'm very pro him. I kind of am too. I kind of like him. Well, I know that, puppy. I honestly am not going to lie. After last night, can I say one thing?

17:00He earned a lot of respect for me. Yeah, he - Honestly, same. He earned a lot of respect for me. He held it down. He could have handled that and literally looked you in the face and like, fuck you. I mean, he could have beat you up. He could have literally beat you up. And also looked at me. Me being like, also like, to preface something, I'm like, come out with me and my friends. Like, these are my best friends. Best people ever. Yeah, bad. It's okay. Cass and I started the day. Why am I always so left out of these? I was with you guys the whole day. You didn't. It's just crazy. Sometimes I feel like I don't exist.

17:31Sometimes I feel like you laugh at just anything I say. Am I dumb? No. You're a doctor. But it is time to tell you that Aristotle is an ancient Greek philosopher. I said that. See, you guys gaslight me. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I knew. I knew he was someone in history. Well, actually, I didn't know. She said history. I did say history later. You clocked that. I did clock it. Cheers. Back to the pre. Do you want to take this first? I think we have to. Okay, do you have the poppy? Yeah. Cheers. Go first, though. Oh, God. Okay. My heart is just racing. Oh, I feel better now. Okay, what should we do for dinner?

18:09I don't really want to talk about dinner yet. Should we talk about our dating lives? You should. Go first. So I went on a date with this guy. Or like three dates with this guy and I was in love with him. Sorry, what? I have to talk about this. Are you fine too? Yeah, obviously. The hottest bitch in this game. He is seriously the hottest person. I wish he was straight because I'm not going to say anything else. No, it's crazy. I wish he was straight. Continue. But we went on three dates. And on the third date, he said, isn't it awesome two gay guys can get drinks with one another and not have to kiss?

18:42I'm not sure how I would have taken that for real. It was bad. What did you say? And then Jake made me cry. Oh, my God. What are you talking about? No, I didn't. How did I make you cry? I might be misremembering. But I think I called you. You called me crying in the rain. Oh, you didn't make me cry. I just cried. Yeah, what? That's crazy. Oh, sorry. Sorry. You called me sobbing in the rain. Oh. That was a different story. Holy shit. Yeah. That's crazy because I hadn't met you yet. Oh, Cass hadn't met me yet. So I'm like, this dramatic ass motherfucker. Me? I'm kidding. It's Jake. No. I walked miles in the pouring rain to get to you two.

19:29And Jake said, oh, we're only going to be here for 15 minutes. I said, well, my walk is 15 minutes. We'll tell you why we were there for 15 minutes. Did you see where he took me? Well, I was soaked on Fifth Avenue. That was like one of the best weekends we've had. Ever. Wait, can you tell me more about that? Gas pedal? Gas pedal came on. Gas pedal by John Summit came on. Do you know this on Gas pedal? Absolutely. Okay. Wait, like the gas pedal? Yes. It came on and Cassidy started crying. I was shrooming galore. Like, sorry, it's a good song, and I was emotional, and I was at my peak of happiness.

20:10Like, shit happens. I get it. Honestly, seeing Jake rave was awesome. It was the best night of my life. I loved it. You know, we had fun in Aspen. We did have fun in Aspen. I was dancing all night. But it was the biggest show of his life. Why are you so anxious? I miss Fanny. I do, too. I miss her, too. I really miss her. She makes me feel so much better. Do you remember when I met her and she sang to me the Chad Nugachuchu? Yeah, because that's just the type of person she is. She is the best person ever. She's seriously one of my favorite people on God's Sweet Earth. If I were her, I'd feel like such a good person all the time.

20:41Yeah, she's awesome.

20:45Everyone okay? Pulse check. Pulse check. Are you okay? Like, what's happening? I don't feel good. Yeah, everyone's... What are you... Okay, well, we could... What are you guys therapists about today? Because I know mine. Do you want to start us off then? Yeah, you start. I need to think about this. I'm like upset that I left the house yesterday, to be honest with you. But we had so much fun. I agree. It's not worth how I feel right now. No, but I think you forget how much fun we have together. Like you let the negatives outweigh how much fun we had. Can you give me a highlight of yesterday? Let's reframe the narrative.

21:20That bar. No, Secko. Secko. That was really fun. Ew, I wasn't there. I wasn't there. It was really fun. It was cute. Wait, don't tell me that. It was a good-ass time. I thought you were mad at me at that point of the night. No. Peyton kept texting me photos of bags to get her for her birthday. That's iconic. That is iconic. She kept sending me links. She's perfect. Wait, that's hilarious. And looking across the table going... That's so good. So what are you guys therapists about? I'm therapists that you guys left me early at the party yesterday. I can't believe he told I can't believe he told him I was mad at him sorry were you mad that we left?

22:04a thousand percent was it fun? didn't get fun? was I mad? you sat down next to me and said please god don't leave and you did was it fun? I had the best time you're a burpy little baby I've never seen I mean I've seen you down bad but this is crazy you know that's right this is like pain why are you sitting so far away from me? no I'm scared of you right now like are you okay? you're really not having it right now I'm not sitting far. Are you gay? Are you gay? Remember when we came back to the bedroom? He was sleeping? What bedroom? Wait, what are you texting about? You're bi. You're bi. Wait, did I text anything?

22:45Are you texting me? I don't know. She pulled out her phone and you pulled out your phone. And you guys do like to leave me out sometimes. No, we don't. What the hell is wrong with you right now? I'm not okay. I know. What the fuck? I take it too far. That's what I'm fucking therapist about. But so do I. Like, we both don't know how to stop. What? Don't you think? What? I love it. I think you guys are so much fun. Like, I had a ball last night. But then when we tried. When he was outside telling him to roll down the window and say, hi, you need to leave. What's wrong with me? But the thing is, it's like when we try to find him, it's like the little timer is gone.

23:23It's like I could not find you anywhere. You're by. You're by. you're bi um will convince me i was bi two weeks ago are you the funniest one in your family i don't think i'm funny i know you guys think i'm funny i mean i think you're one of the funniest people i've ever met i appreciate that i just don't think i'm funny what were you like in high school it's so weird when you ask me that because you meaning it's weird that you didn't know me like i feel like i've known you forever i know i what were you like wasn't funny like i feel like I think my dark humor or like my humor came after like going through like shit you know what I mean like you were funny in college Cassidy I don't know why you said like maybe I feel like all of your friends describe you as funny that's so crazy I don't think I'm funny but like that's that's nice of you yeah but like are you laughing at me or are you laughing with me a little bit of both that's so offensive wait but in like a great way no no not at you ever just like at the things you do sometimes.

24:26Okay, yeah. Yeah. You were on the 405 the other day, respectfully, and asked if it was PCH. It looked like PCH. What do you mean? I was literally, we looked like we were driving down PCH. Did we not? To be fair, like, what in it could have, where's the beach? We were, like, I think we were in West Hollywood. I thought the beach was on my right, but honestly, I was so blacked out, I don't know. And it definitely wasn't. It's the PCH. That was crazy. That was crazy. Okay, Should we do the tell me what's wrong? Sure. Are we all okay though? We're all a little bit anxious. I'm so down bad. I've never felt this way in my life.

25:01I do feel like shit. And this room feels like a sauna. I do feel incredibly, incredibly anxious right now. Yeah. My sister is planning a breakup party for herself. And I don't know how to tell her that literally no one wants to come. No offense. I wouldn't want to go either. Like why would she want to go? Wait, but what does that mean, break up party for yourself? Oh, like she's breaking up with her boyfriend? Like she's newly single. Like let's celebrate. Why would anyone want to go? This is like Julianne Payton's goodbye party. I would totally go to a breakup party. That's epic. Oh, that's so horrible that no one wants to go.

25:39I like totally get it. Did you say that's like Julianne Payton's going away party? Yeah. Are you going to come back for that, Cass? So it's next weekend. I think I would be crazy to fly back, but I honestly want to. Is it on Saturday? Yeah. Just do it. I think I might have to. Yeah. Like at this point, like nothing else is going on in the city. I'm kind of miserable in the city in summer. Like you guys know that. I feel like it's not the best place to be. It's the worst place to be in the summer. Fall is the best there. Fall is the best. I'm coming for two weeks in September. It's time for you to come back.

26:08Not during my birthday. Why don't I know when your birthday is? September 22nd. Where are we celebrating? Here. Okay. Are you gone? Are you gay? You're by. You're by. Are you gay? His birthday's the 22nd. I'm going to be in Austin the 20th. Why are you in Austin? I'm like doing this thing for the podcast. What's up with you guys not planning a New York weekend together soon? I said I'm coming in September. I know, but you need to hop on board. He said I'm coming. He said we're not going together. Yeah. Also, it's July. I feel like you're due for something sooner. When? August. Late August. August is the worst month there.

26:45I mean, yeah, honestly. It's like a waste of money. I'd rather spend the money in September. No, I love it in the fall. You make my day when you're in New York. No, literally the second I land it, I have to come to you. It's crazy. When you're together. What do you think? Exactly. We do more than just hump.

27:07Nolan, do you love our group chat name? I do. Nolan, you icon. Remember the things you were saying to me in New York? What? What were we saying? Nope. And I don't think I want to know. What did they say? So my heart just dropped because I have a way of saying really rogue shit when I'm drunk. It was not that bad. What did they say? It was just a lot of like, can't wait to go. What? That was not for me. No, no, no. Will to you. Oh. Okay, yeah. I was like, wait, I said that to Nolan? No. Wait. You're saying that to me? Perfect. Okay, ready. I'll get that. Every time I have to go poop on a date, I say I'm going to go check my makeup and then I go blow up the toilet and come back with mascara on my forehead to sell it.

28:02Recently, I was on a double date and my friend was so drunk that when I went to go do this, she told my date. How do I go about killing her? That is something I would do. Oh, a thousand percent. And I'd be the one that did that. You'd be the one going to the toilet. You know what Cassie and I used to call it in college? Slipping Jake would text me every morning He'd wake up in my bed Because obviously I would wake up next to Jake Every single weekend in college And he'd be like gotta go slip I said not in my bathroom Also when he visited Because Cosby once said it's slipping It's slipping What the fuck What the fuck That's disgusting I was not the one to start that Yes you did I never said that that was Jake ew can we cut that I'm really embarrassed that's pretty gnarly that's disgusting moving on moving the fuck on my boyfriend cried when I asked him to start therapy he said that's so much pressure

29:14wait do you go to therapy I do you know I go to therapy me but jake i honestly felt like you recently i've been ghosting my therapist she has texted me five times i don't reach out to her don't respond whatever all of a sudden i go into my email i have five emails from her i am making sure you're okay she's like i know you went to your sister's wedding like no there is some whatever family drama are you alive and well like what's happening still do you remember when i took therapy in the car with you and your car alarm went off sure do i honestly like that's when i wasn't in therapy yet and i was like why is jake in therapy like is he okay but now i'm like we were uh we were 21 we were jake needed a lot of therapy can i ask you guys something we all do this to each other we like to pick fights with each other i have noticed that us three you do it to will i do it to both of you you don't really epic fights.

30:11I feel like I'm Switzerland. You gotta tank it. Like, everyone just says shit to you. Can you say, oh, Will, like, first impression of Will. First impression of Will. Okay. Okay. What was your first impression of me? He's small? You were Pikachu. No, I met you the night before as Miss Americana, and I was the Heartbreak Prince. Oh, that was a good costume. Thank you. What was I? Do you remember what I was? Yes. What was I? You were a race car driver. I was. Okay, good. Yeah, he looked amazing. What were you the next night um a cowboy my first impression of you i was like oh you're so funny really yeah you want to sing for the podcast yeah can you please sing pyramid i don't know that song i don't know the word it's a really i don't know that song okay what can you sing for us you know he serenaded me when he sang for me two weeks ago i was like pregnant after i'll serenade you any day so do it now Sing the climb.

31:10Oh, my God. I just woke up. Always gonna be another mountain. In the mic. I'm always gonna wanna make it move. Hey, Will. Can you, like, really sing? Please don't make me sing right now. Please, like. You guys made me hum. What? You didn't even do it, though. What? You asked me to hum Pyramid. Oh, I thought you said hump. Oh, hum. You didn't even hum it. Should we talk about me and Will grinding it up at Atlantic City? Atlantic City. Do you want to explain what you saw, Jake? Yeah, I'll post the video right here. Oh, God. Wait, can you not do that? Oh, okay. That was like - No, it was epic. I looked like - Phenomenal.

31:45You looked phenomenal. I felt good. It was awesome. You're like a wind-up toy. Well, let's talk about you getting active behind me. Thousand. Thousand. He was like, I've never seen Will's face get dirty. I locked in. What face was he making? He's like, do it. like ladies like thrusting you guys remember in miami there was a guy at our hotel reception that will thought was hot give me a fucking second so we saw him the first date reception i thought he was so cute i was like so what do you do around here he was like we go to the clubs i was like okay cool we're going to where did we go space yeah and lo and behold cassidy brown no cassidy splat on the floor you splat on the floor and then cass was so pissed because nobody helped her like oh my god hello i see cassidy eat it and i'm like okay i was like wait everyone saw me just i'm in my silver high ass motherfucking louis vuitton and this wasn't like a casual fall like you you really could have heard yourself this was not casual everyone saw me fall fully saw me fall someone spilled something on the ground i was like head back into the fucking floor all of you literally this was actually rude all of you look at me what the What the fuck just happened?

33:03I was like, everyone hates me. I go up to Jake and I go, do you want to pay attention to me for once? Wait. Wait. Did you give him your number? Oh, did I give him my number? Trying to find the picture. I forced him. He did not want to give me his number. And I said, give me your phone. I think I really scared him. Trying to find the picture. But he was really cute. He was really cute. I'm trying to find the picture to make us all. We saw him exiting too. Fully. I frequent this coffee shop and kept asking the barista how their day is going. And now they fully trauma dump on me every morning. I want out, but I love this place so much.

33:35What's your vibe on trauma dumping? I don't mind it. Well, you do it. Sorry. No, I don't mind it at all. I don't really mind it either. I feel like I do it a little bit. But, like, explain trauma dumping. It's like, how's your day? You know, because of, like, I have a hard time connecting with people because of my parents. I think it depends on the relationship with the person you're talking to. A thousand. And you know what? you could just be like oh okay I'm sorry and move on like you don't have to hang out for it's just what do you do is trauma dumping generally considered a bad thing I feel like maybe yeah I don't know I think it's more just like whoa like if you meet a new person and it's like oh you're telling me all of these crazy things why am I scared now I feel like I definitely trauma dump a little bit I mean I do you do yeah but with like certain people you're not just trauma dumping on random like individuals that you're meeting.

34:37Maybe. And a hush fell over the crowd. I feel like that's the whole bit of this podcast. Yeah. I know. What has been happening? I told at least every single person that's come in here that I did not have sex for two years. That was like the first thing out of my mouth and they just say, oh, okay. But that's different. That's different. That's not trauma dumping. That's just like, yeah. Thank you. It's a tough boat to be in. It's just a fact. And I'm right there with you. honestly you are I am you're bi

35:13this is the hardest I've ever laughed in an episode I think back to back to back to back you would have loved to go to college with Cassidy one time she hooked up with this guy on a ring

35:25I can't talk about this I need to find the video There's a video of cast hooking up with this guy for 20 minutes. First of all, I was thinking I was being sneaky and I was like, move to the right. I think I would have been eating alive at USC. Probably. No, you would have been fine. Do you think so? You would have been just fine. Do you think I would have been in your friend group? Yeah. I was your first. Was I your first gay friend? You were my first like real gay friend. Yeah. Like I have gay friends. Like you're like actually like I hang out with you every day. I didn't have that in college with anyone.

35:56That's sweet. Yeah. You're my first gay friend. Oh, I love you. I love you too. Thank you. Did Jake ever tell you about the pink heels? They're Cassidy's favorite thing. I don't know why they're not your favorite. I bought pink stripper heels. Fluffy pink stripper heels. And I would wear them and Cass would make me put them on when we were drunk. Cassidy and I had some real funny moments. Cassidy was infamous in college for me.

36:25You've seen her drunky, right? she once ate ashley's dog's food okay that did happen in my defense the dog's food was white rice so obviously i'm literally so drunk take the first thing out of the fridge that i see which was white rice and just pound it like literally oh my god actually funny story after this she literally looked at me and was like that was fully my dog's food how am i supposed to know And the Cassidy special is hot sauce on anything. Everything. Cholula on everything. Frank's hot sauce is honestly so good now. I love Cholula. I really want you to stay for dinner. I do too. I think you can.

37:03Should we order right now? Let's order now. I don't want pho. I definitely have time. It's six. Okay, what? Should we order pho? I'm sorry. Ready? I am so... Ew. Oh my God. Oh my God. I smell it. Nope. I'm going to... Wait, I'm actually going to throw up. I don't want it. I'm not gonna lie I couldn't have held it in if I tried I've never had the instinct of bringing the microphone I'm not gonna sing but I will burp for you Help us all I'm a burpy baby today I told my therapist I was seeing signs from the universe And she said no that's just your anxiety I don't know how to answer She keeps rubbing me It feels really good right now Okay wait read it again The therapist is saying that she's just anxious.

37:54Now she's like. Sorry. Sorry. I'll stop. I need touch.

38:03You don't like when I touch you. I don't like being touched. In general. Unless it's by a guy. I'm touch starved. Yeah, I guess that would make sense. Same. I'm so touch starved. I love touch. I am touch starved for sure. I love my friends, but every time we go out, they are taking so many photos and I am not photogenic at all maybe i'm just insecure but it's literally is just when they're taking candid photos of me how do i change this i think you adopt the cassidy brown mindset mindset what's my mindset just continue taking photos jake literally told me that this whole podcast i'd be staring at myself in the mirror the whole time and i was like is that how you see me no what were you about to say i was gonna just say maybe put the phones away oh yeah you you're a big proponent you're good about that it's my biggest thing but i also get if you're feeling insecure and like everyone's taking pictures then that'd be kind of annoying i don't like taking pictures before i go out it makes me feel insecure sometimes i actually like taking pictures do you feel fine for me to tell this story well i don't know what story you're talking about when will was in the hospital he got he was like a make-a-wish kid i did i got a make-a-wish he got a he legitimately got a make-a-wish you didn't know this like in what way sorry like in what way you gotta shave your head

39:32cut that

39:38no I did not have to shave my head

39:46holy shit Yeah, it's time for a shot. I still don't understand what I said is bad, but like, can you just like elaborate? Because people have other illnesses besides cancer. I just didn't know. I thought Make-A-Wish was fully for that. For cancer only? Yeah. No, it's for all chronic diseases. Okay, continue. And that I do have. So Will was in the hospital and he got a Make-A-Wish. And they were like, do you want to go to Hawaii? Like, didn't they offer you like Hawaii? do you want to go to Hawaii? Putakana? I was like, I don't think I want to do that. He asked, all he wanted to do was meet Adam Levine.

40:27Oh, that's really cute. And so he met Adam Levine and Adam Levine brushed past him and he got a boner. No, no, no, no. No, no, no. Let me tell you. Adam Levine gave me a hug and called me handsome and I got a, I was rock hard. He's so hot. He signed a guitar and sent it to me. Wow. And that was your wish? Yeah. I would do it again. Can I just tell you one thing? Every time I've taken a shot, it's coming out of my mouth. I have like water shots down my chin. Yeah. Observation. How are we all feeling? When you got to make a wish, were you like, let's go? Cool. Yeah, I was pretty happy. I was like, this is sick.

41:05Did you debate anything besides the Adam Levine thing? No, I was pretty sad.

41:13Yeah.

41:19I'm about to crash out.

41:26You're right. I know you're going to say. You're right. This has been one of my favorite episodes. But why don't you like to do your handshake with me every time I try to do it? What handshake? What handshake? Are you kidding? Oh.

41:41I kind of feel weird that I'm not included in a handshake with you guys. Cass, would you ever do that? nope and i just saw and honestly cringed cringe it's very fair i feel like i cringe at a lot yeah like i kind of get the ick easily tell us in never from you guys yeah you just can't get them with guys it's the weirdest thing no i get the ick pretty quickly too i mean this one of the guys you saw i got the biggest ick from when i spoke like spoke more than three words to him which one do not we'll believe it perfect i'm obsessed with him See, that's crazy. And I honestly liked how you did because I think he's like so hot.

42:20Look, I'd fuck him. Yeah. Yes. I know you would. Guess who else would? He was literally next to me while this was going down. It was the most epic. But what part got, like what gave you the ick? The way he spoke. I did get the ick, but it wasn't in a way like I would entertain it. I would keep entertaining it. How good does a hot dog sound? Beyond. I'm the glizzy gobbler, so. I'm kind of fixating on Chinese food now though Okay There's like multiple routes we can go down And I think we finally reached the point in the episode Where we can talk about dinner I just don't want pho But you don't listen when I say that Okay I honestly don't really want pho I want something more filling I would like Chinese food I've said this five times now We could do noodles, ramen You're by

43:08I'm a little tipsy We am tipsy for sure I want to like swing my mic around right now Like I'm like feeling weird I mean Cassidy you've just been on a roll I'm not really a comedian though But I do love TV Like I do It made sense in my head when you said it You watch the same show every day No I don't I go to her house and I hear people talking Oh it's Gossip Girl in the background I don't watch Gossip Girl anymore Or friends. And also, it is friends. I did see something where it's like if you watch the same TV show and put it on in the background as like just like background noise, you have really bad anxiety because it's like what's the – it's like – Comfort.

43:53Comfort. And I was like, oh, sweet.

44:00Would you like to finish your shot? Oh, I did. Next. Honestly, that gives Nolan so much wiggle room. Should we just all say next a bunch Next Honestly yeah Okay Casco Do I look fat from this angle? No You look gorgeous Thank you What am I saying? Wait what? This isn't You know what I'm having so much fun This can't be the last I know We low-key have so much more to talk about Than we ever anticipated I know Guys what are we leaving out though? So do you want to talk about New York or Miami? Let's start with Miami We went For anyone wondering We went to Miami for the new year to celebrate together.

44:40Obviously, we're celebrating together. We're celebrating together. Us three. We all stay in a room together. I think that should be a tradition, by the way. Obviously. 100%. Every New Year's, we're spending it together. But I think we should leave the country next time. Oh, you were my New Year's kiss. Obviously, you were my New Year's kiss. We've kissed a bunch. We tend to do that. Mommy and dad need a break. I feel like it's getting more real. I do, too. No, I think I'm so gay now that I would, like, hook up with a girl. Well, if you hook up with a girl, if it's not me, I will actually come up.

45:11Yeah. Would you be upset? I would be a little bit jealous for sure. Anyways, so back to Miami. Us three stayed in a room together. Yeah. And how would you describe the trip? I mean, diabolical. Remember when we said it. It was insane. Did we have fun? Oh, I had the best time of my life. Night one was the best night, by the way. I agree. What was night one? But remember when we told Cassidy the boat was going to be? We told her the boat was going to Pearl Harbor. How was I supposed to know? Cassidy, how far is that? How was I supposed to know where the boat was going? Cassidy, that's not even the point of that.

45:46Whatever. Also, you didn't join our boat today. I know, I couldn't. I read my book. Will was reading on the beach. He was busy. I needed a long time. That first night, that cost a two-a-dinner straight into that night out, best night. Yeah, I lost my purse. I don't remember that. Yeah, Cass lost her purse. It was in the blanket, the entire time. Cass lost her purse and we went to the beach. And let me tell you, they were tweaking out, telling me like, it's okay. Like, it's going to be okay. I had the one form of identification, my passport. Let's get into that story later also. My passport in my purse, I actually wouldn't have been able to go home.

46:22I wouldn't have been able to find the ring. Cass has a knack for losing things and she recently lost her passport. And the way she lost it actually might shock you. It fell out of her hands at a bar. she looked on the ground and continued talking and the guy said to her did you just drop your passport? and she still didn't pick it up apparently like it dropped in front of me and I think I was just having fun and I kind of looked down and like looked up and was like gonna grab that later I never did and then the next day I was like and one thing about Cass is she'll live in the moment for sure isn't that a good thing?

46:56I think it's a great thing but like I should probably like pay more attention to my belongings. They're lost every weekend. That's a good goal. I just ripped off dead skin from my foot. Ew. Disgusting. I can't believe your toes are out. So and what else? Oh then Sally and Ashton came to Miami. That was really fun. That was really fun. We were at space. How long were we there? Three nights? You're by. You're by. You're by. We were there for three nights. Three nights too many. I was miserable by the end. I was ready to go. Yeah. and then our New York trip which was one of the most magical weekends I wish we could relive that wasn't that a week every day of my life yeah it was a week Will and I had were together 24 7 24 7 it was lovely it was lovely we had the greatest time you came over that was the first night we went to Shea Margot yes okay I really so do eventful things happen or do we just go out and like think we're crazy I don't know my thing is like I feel like I watch a lot because like like you do yeah Will, like, you really don't understand how bad the trip was the next day.

48:01Like, I don't think it's, like, it's not clocking to you. No. It was the worst day of my life. I will say it was kind of like today, but, like, going to Boston. Like, we were seriously. I don't know how you guys did that. It was bad. I had to. He had to. I don't know how you guys did that. I had to get a seaplane. The video of you with the pussy hat on. Nuts. Doing the interviews. I've never left. Immediate repost. That video had tears in my eyes. We were not okay. Allison. Shut it. I don't know how you put on a whole fucking show that night, which is crazy. Yep. I worked for four hours. You're a different beast.

48:34He is. Oh my God. Thank you. Yeah. You are. I was tired. Yeah, but you didn't show it. It was a 3 ,000 person show. It was epic. Oh my God. Can we please talk about where did we go in Atlantic City? Memories. I want to have my birthday there. Wait, you should. Memories. Sorry. I just like. Glitched. Glitched. Yeah. Memories is the best place on planet earth. It's in Margate, New Jersey I think that might have been one of my favorite nights It is so fun That place is so fun And the staff is amazing Everyone's so nice They played Virgin They let us sit in the fridge when we were hot And the fact that you came with me to Boston Is crazy Was so amazing That's a loyal friend move of me I looked at you in the morning though And I did say can you please understand If I don't come and you said go get your bag I was like Okay.

49:26The cheetah duffel. Obviously. My favorite bag. I know. The cheetah fucking bag. The cheetah duffel. The cheetah duffel goes everywhere. What are you doing with your feet? The toe, it's freaking me out. It's all freaking me out. Oh my God, guys. Oh, I'm having memories. Can we order dinner? Yeah. No. Okay. I don't want to order dinner yet. I really just am hungry. Can we just do Chinese food? House of Wings. I think that's House of Wings. Let's take another. Let's take another. You guys. Yeah. Nolan, can we do one more shot? Yeah. Maybe like a half. Do you want to join us in this endeavor? I'm working.

50:03Ugh. Thousand. Nolan, wait, are you driving? I just come in your car. You can't take a shot. I can't let you drink and know that you're driving. I definitely am working. I want to do that. Thank you, Nolan. You got to do one with me. The first time Will and I met, I had. It was special. It was really special. You had pink hair. I had pink hair. Oh, my God. You picked him up in an Uber. no he picked me up his head out the window first thing he says to me I've never met him holy shit your pink hair is so cool and I was like this is my best friend absolutely it really was a love story for you two no sparks flew we slept next to each other the first night and it's so beautiful that that happened what did I say last night about Cassidy to you do you remember what did he say he's ordering food I couldn't tell you with my life depending on it are you serious he doesn't remember shit this was before you were that drunk What was it?

50:56I said Cassidy Brown has become one of my best friends. Oh, you did. You said it's crazy how important to me she's become. I'm going to cry. Also, like, if I wasn't one of your best friends, I'd be so by her. No. You're one of my best friends, obviously. Cheers to us. Do you guys think you're going to be friends forever? Yeah, I would be. Like, why is he saying it like, why is he saying it like, he doesn't want that to happen? Like, what do you mean? Are you going to be friends with us forever? Yeah. Do you think you'll be at my wedding? For sure. Will, yes. What if the wedding is you two? Cassidy.

51:31Cassidy really does try to set us up every five seconds. Every time. I'll stop. She did it last night. Oh, I know. And then she said she did it to you too. Yeah, she does that. Every time. She does that though with every guy. I will see a guy. She'll go, you gotta meet Will. Okay. How did you do this? Oh my God. What about you gotta meet Jake? No, no, no. I do that. She does do that. Also crazy because that was really embarrassing. saying i was texting will about will i feel like he's not paying attention he's not no you were texting will about will i'm trying to find us dinner i was texting will about will being like hottest guy ever like all this stuff and will's like hi it's me sorry i was literally trying to set you up i appreciate also like you should appreciate that yeah yeah she said it oh i he really has to leave the room what is your guys is like when you go out how many drinks does it take to like fuck you up to like get to this point i just like to dance it's really impressive and honestly something that i wish i like being with people no i know you that's your love you love people i do you i've never met a more genuinely genuinely social person in my life like it's genuine too you actually enjoy speaking to people yeah and like I oh my god you used to say a friend to all is a friend to none and I by the way still believe it yeah still fucking believe it that quote kind of scares me though because I feel like someone can be like but I do feel like I have genuine friendships you do you do which is why it's crazy but a friend to all is a friend to none but why do you say that why is it scary because it's like I feel like everyone tries to be friends with like not friends with everyone but kinda like I feel like that's a good thing but then at the same time it's like I do understand the meaning behind it.

53:22But I don't think, I think it like depends how you look at it. I agree. You know what I mean? Like it depends on the person. Damn, you really are a doctor. I know. Sometimes I like become kind of intellectual now. No, you are. You're smart. Sometimes you'll say things and I'm like, you are super emotionally intelligent. I am in touch with my emotions. Remember when I accidentally called you a narcissist in the car? Well, he is. For the chapel fight? Yeah, I am though. He is. Am I? I don't think I am. I don't think that you are. At the end of the day, I don't think, I have feelings. I feel for people.

53:52Narcissists don't feel anything. I just like to talk about myself a lot more than the average person. But you've gotten better. It's the no weed, dude. I think that's why I'm so hesitant. I know. The weed made me super manic. Yeah. Legitimately manic. Like, I'm manic. I was manic. Did you choose a place to order from? Because I'm hungry. Okay, what do you guys want? I don't want food right now. Five times. I'm not saying it again. The beast is out. The beast is out. Jake is our little tyrant. The beast came out last night. Obviously. He's literally like next. That was next level shit. What? What?

54:37You're not telling me what? Telling her. What did you say to her last night about me? That you're a lot. Oh. I think it was more than that. No, that's what you said I said. I don't remember what you said, but it was funny. I was like peeing myself. Yes, I said fighting with you was a lot. Yeah. Because you take it. Oh, wait, what did you say? No, please say this because it's like, okay, I actually don't care. What was it? What did I say that you clawed? Oh, when we get in fights, I just go mute. Because you take me and go, it's just. But I feel like it's a good thing because we're expressive. I'm mute.

55:13Yeah. It's hard to get a word in. And I take a second to process. Yeah. I'm a fragile little bird. So am I. I'm very fragile. I will say one thing. We, us three, collectively are very sensitive people. For sure. So I think when. Yeah. I don't know. I can't tell. I can't tell. Because sometimes I'm like, do you care? He is like iffy. Wait, what? What do you say? We're talking about sensitivity. Yeah. I'm very sensitive. You're sensitive. I said that originally. I'm very sensitive. I said that originally, but then I kind of like took back my words. Worse. I'm like, I. You are the most sensitive.

55:50The most sensitive. So is Will. Will is incredibly sensitive. Yeah, we both are. Okay. Like I can say that about myself, but why do you think I'm sensitive? Why? You guys are sensitive with each other. It was a very sensitive response to that. Yeah. For sure. I am sensitive. For sure. You are. Just never know with you. I had something to say about last night. You. And now I forget. What do we want for dinner? I'm starving now. Wait, wait, wait, wait. I think it's that you're by.

56:22You guys are too good.

56:27Are you okay? I just like, I will order us food, but I want to hang out more. This is fun. But I'm very hungry and I'm on a time crunch. And you're by.

56:42This is crazy. I mean, it's bonkers. Maybe we shouldn't have taken... Are you guys drunk? Maybe a little. A little. I'm about to start. I think I've just lived today off of delusion, though. Yeah. Ooh, do you want ground chicken with scrambled egg over white rice? I mean, that sounds... Wait, I can't tell if you're kidding. That's like my wet dream. I'm going to give you two genres. Okay. To order from. Okay. That a thing. Genres? Or genres. Cuisine? cuisine

57:18I'm gonna give you two cuisines and then you're taking your on your toppings add to cart add to cart add to cart and then we're getting this shit done okay what's please please just order this is the what

57:34no in a really good way who what are the cuisines Chinese or Thai please please. You're by.

57:47This is too much for me. Thai maybe sounds the best. I kind of agree. Then order Thai. Do you know what good food is? I'm going to order you guys food. What do you want, Thai? I'm going to get you Thai right now. I'm going to panic. I feel like it's been two hours of this decision. All right, where do you want Thai from? You really don't want pho? He doesn't want it. I don't want pho. I don't like eating a soup for dinner. I'd rather have like substance. Does that make sense? like every time I go out and eat sushi sorry I don't know why I'm talking about this but like every time I go out and eat sushi if I get a miso soup I don't just want the miso soup so then I'm like why did I just eat that and get full tender thinly sliced beef simmered in a savory sweet soy base served over a rice bed finished with pickled ginger a sprinkle of green onion order it can I see a picture a visual yep can we just make a decision though because I have to catch a flight I think I'm gonna order us Thai Okay You know what you guys I just love you guys I think I really do love you guys I really love you guys This has been It makes me sad And you know what Sometimes I get so anxious to record But now that I know with us If it's like this every time I'll never be anxious No That's really sweet I think that was I've had such a lovely time Also why would you be anxious with us I feel like we're just like I live with anxiety Yeah I get it Also we did I'm sensitive to that now We did not sleep.

59:08Like that did not make anything worse. I am. You're bye. You're bye. I'm just talking to myself. Okay, well, what did we learn today? I learned that you're bye. We've really run that bit. Okay, yeah. To the ground. I've learned that we need to figure out how to go home earlier. I've learned that I'm not a healthy drinker.

59:40and I've learned that you're by. You're by. Okay, well, I think it's time that we finally order dinner. I do too. I really, Cass, I think you should sleep here. I think you should move your flight. We'll talk about it after the podcast. Okay. I will book your flight tomorrow. I am freaking out. Like, I am not going to lie. I'm freaking out. I don't think you're going to make the flight. I have to. I don't think you're going to make it. Okay. I'm saying otherwise. Okay. Okay, well, do you guys want to give a little bye, pussies? Were we funny? Bye, pussies. Wait, you have to do it together. Yeah.

1:00:14Ready? Go. Bye, pussies. Here, bye.
