No guests appear in the transcript; it’s hosted by two parents (Jules and Harrison) with their dog (Ginny) and family referenced.
Guest backgrounds

Key claims
- 90% of adult brain development happens from ages 0–5; repetition “wires” neurons and unused skills fade after.
- Babies in weekly swim sessions develop faster (coordination, balance, body control, faster walking).
- Toddler “um” is framed as developmental/phase-based, not a bad habit.
- Parents shouldn’t wait to start making memories; development starts at birth (and even pregnancy).
Notable examples
- Tate (22 months) copies hand/leg actions and adds “um” as she plans movements.
- Travel from DC led to a “developmental leap” (new words, new play behaviors).
- Water safety: avoid blue bathing suits in pools because kids are harder to see; neon orange/pink (and lime/yellow in lakes) are suggested.
- Pepsi acquired Siete; ingredient list changes are discussed (adds extracts/preservatives).

She's going to stay, but if she doesn't calm down, she can go. We'll see if the listener, are we recording? Yeah. We'll see if the listener can differentiate between Ginny's breathing and my breathing. Do you think they can? No. Ginny's looking for lips. Ginny is so cute Ginny like loves a man Ginny is Jules' dog Hi Ginny Bears If you're listening on audio And Ginny's in the office today Ginny's in my grill Ginny is all of Juan Harrison Ginny's in my grill So this is what they were just talking about Ginny gets very excited for the first 5-10 minutes of a new person coming Like it happened when I came in and then she chills Yeah She'll get very underwhelmed with me quickly So we're late today No no no that's a pronoun issue Whose fault is it that we're recording late?
1:38Yours. Okay, I agree. But we're not late today, honey. You're late. We were all... We're starting recording late. Okay, Ginny Bears, we've got to go down. Okay, we're good. And the mic. You're late today. Got the ASMR can opening. Okay, we're going to open up the gloom. Ooh, spicy. There we go. So if you're just going to do glooms, you should stop ordering your coffee. I had a coffee this morning already. But you have one right there. I'll have it. you're gonna have it all maybe okay um i have two things to talk about off the top do you want me to welcome us or do you want to do those first you're calling okay we're gonna i'm gonna welcome you welcome back to another episode of two parents in a podcast it's friday what's it it's friday we shake them up oh that was from high school football players used to do that yeah that at assembly for a football game i thought you were about to start singing rebecca black Wait, no, what's the song?
2:37It's Friday. Friday, Gotta Get Down on Friday. I'm not going to sing it. I know all the lyrics, though. The football players used to get in a huddle. They say, it's Friday. I have three things. You shake them up. It's Friday. Okay, what? I have three things. Go. You can choose. One, why I'm late. Two, dad injuries. And how embarrassing they are. three uh west update i saw the post i saw his post wait i didn't i choose that sorry we'll take the west update for 500 okay so what jumped out to you west did a big photo grid what jumped out to you about it okay so slide number three was uh you it's like is that something like you guys are screwed whenever i figure out how to articulate my thoughts and somebody commented Like you're not going to be able to articulate your thoughts until the cows come home or something or pigs fly.
3:32Okay. Oh, that was funny. He did bury Amanda in there around, you know, photo five. Yeah. And that was all. And Jesse's in the photos. Okay. That was what jumped out to me. Do you think he knew he was going to be in the photo grid? You know, I thought about this actually. I love the Nora Brains went to the same place. You know, I think Jesse is an honest guy. and I think Jesse was like, I'm actually hanging out with Wes and if Wes is going to post that, fine. So you think he knew? I don't think he knew. I don't think he cares either way. I think he's okay with it. I think Wes did it as, I think, I don't know.
4:12Wes is a bit old. That was the most loaded photo of it all. Well, the comments agreed. They were like, is this a soft launch that Jesse's back? I think it is. I think it is. and you know what where west isn't very smart is like not that he's not very smart okay because i do think we should maybe stop piling on the west and the man that thing here but now we can look at it from we can no longer be mad i think now we can look at it from uh we're analyzing it so i keep going well we can we can analyze it now i'm not that's always been our take is analyzing it because it's such a unique i think we're allowed to do that i don't think we need to be like no more west and a man like we got to move on okay because we're all adults here so let's so the so my one thing is i think jesse would do candid interviews or heck even turn his phone around and talk to the camera and just be like listen west is my friend do i support what they didn't know but like west is my friend and i'm choosing to like still be friends with them yeah i just think it's it's it's interesting to find out that way like the totally and and And yeah.
5:22But how else were you going to find out? So invested in their lives. How else were you going to find out, you know? I wonder if...
5:34I mean, if Jesse would have posted it. Is Jesse active on socials? Yeah, of course.
5:41Opportunity there? I don't know. Wasn't his move to do. I don't have a hard take. I just saw it this morning and... I'm fine with the way it went down. It made its way to Twitter. Of course it did. Yeah. No, I don't see a lot of this stuff on Twitter. I don't. That's just your feed. Oh, really? Yeah. Okay. I was like, ooh. I was doing a little Twitter desktop scroll this morning. Well, you also do a scroll. Your desktop is your social media right now. Yeah, but I didn't see it. I'm saying it wasn't last night. So why were you late? Tell the class. Some backyard updates. Oh, we know. We heard the jackhammer.
6:19it's yeah so we're getting rid of the concrete today so i did a little i actually filmed it for the audience okay just so everyone knows what so impervious cover is a very um it's a very big thing in residential austin real estate and it's how much of your property or your home needs to have grass on it so with adding that's the drilling yeah um just for me and rocky and tate this morning Oh, here's a great question for the audience. And I know you want to talk about your previous cover. And I do, too. I'm dying to. But what I'd like to discuss first is we live, we're city living, so we live very close to all of our neighbors.
7:00And we are jackhammering up a good amount of our yard today. Should I give the surrounding neighbors a cute little something with a tag that says, wow, that was louder than I thought? And like a little, like, cookie? Yeah, that's really nice. Okay. Absolutely. I was thinking about that today. Everyone should get a little, wow, that was louder than I thought. and that's what i'm going to put on it and then maybe some cookies great call okay great call um so everything's going great i just what i what my biggest takeaway from these from doing work on your house is how like when you get one thing wrong like if you move into a house and everything's already done the chance that something drives you nuts is a lot lower than if you're building it from scratch and they don't do it the optimal way correct and so my realization this morning was about our posts okay define posts okay so basically our fence we're gonna have an iron fence and we're gonna have brick posts throughout it they should get it from exactly and i like the way that they built the retaining wall the brick posts they don't where they're going they don't really make a lot of sense so what are we gonna do redo it so we're gonna have to redo the retaining walls great no problem yeah right but i need i need to sign off on this um and it just like it is it is decision overload on the housework which is like not what i expected like this is this is taking a lot of energy and it's fun energy but like it's it's a lot choosing different heights and i mean it's gonna be like should it be two there two stairs or three stairs i i don't know should the stairs go down the back or off the right and so you can just put your brain goes in a pretzel on every decision so you're bored okay moving on it's just it's gonna be awesome our back it's gonna be everything we're not gonna know what it's gonna be like to be able to open the front door and tate just run outside like it's all gonna be gated in i'm so excited yep as am i as am i um okay great then the other piece my neck is sore today why because i slept funny why'd you sleep funny i don't know but what i the realization i had between myself and my dad friends or my dad friends and i is no matter what injury you get as a dad it's embarrassing yeah there's no cool way to get injured anymore like oh your back's hurting why oh i tweaked it picking up my kids right oh okay like oh oh, your shoulder's hurting?
9:41Why, I've been carrying my child too much. Or, yeah, I was doing a workout class and I tweaked it during the workout class. Well, it's just a sign of aging. I'm trying for a high, it's like, yeah. It's just like old. Oh, you tweaked your neck? What happened? Oh, I slept funny. Like dork. It sounds like, right. Or even if you're doing something extreme, like you blew out your knee skiing. I don't know, I just, I find like all injuries now are. Silly. we had a friend who he slipped in the shower and he was like I slipped in the shower and we were just like oh dude it just sucks these days just sucks to be like a dad slipping in the shower he's like talking about slipping in the shower I'm like we're just we're here we reached a level of what is going on yeah I know the bodies aren't the same we can't carry we can't carry I feel like one consistent theme between me and the dad guys is like our shoulders are now always hurting from all the kid carrying and it's sweet on one end But on the other hand, it's like, come on, we should be able to carry our kids without our shoulders hurting.
10:42Tate was wearing her bucket hat again this morning because Maria, who we now call Mimi, by the way, gave her the option of going to Peace Park or the mall. And the mall they go to has a park. And Bubba was like, mall, mall, it was so cute. And she's like, do you want to wear your hat? And she was like, yeah. So she put her little hat on. And out they went. I almost want you to look at the nanette and see our interaction this morning what tell us about it She was full of energy this morning and I walk in there and I go good morning Tate and she goes good morning Oh It's a really fun age Such a fun age You say that every week You say that every week It's so true But I feel like the developmental ramp over the past two weeks So It's been noteworthy But do you know why it's been noteworthy and I've said this on the podcast before and I want to double down on it it now when we travel and you take kids out of their routine it's really good for them developmentally am i going to give you a massage just a little i'm giving him a little bit of a massage massage a little harder sorry please oh oh okay i just needed you to power through so we went to dc and when we came back there was a noticeable developmental leap and actually my friend nugget texted me this and she said okay i'm listening to the podcast i feel like Like Avery and Tate are doing a lot of the same things.
12:03Is Tate saying um? And she is saying um. And I noticed it because I started mimicking everything Tate was doing one day. Like she put her hand on her head. So I put my hand on my head. And she noticed I was playing copy. So then she put her hand on her knee. I put my hand on my knee. And then she goes um. Because she was thinking about where she wanted to put her hand next. So should we not say um? No. Because I know that. So I don't think I'm a big ummer. Do you think you're a big ummer? as considering we oh jules has given me a jules has given me a um head trick so you think you do say i'm a lot oh don't put that now now we put that into the ether i can never say it again because it'll drive the listener nuts i don't think either of us say i'm a lot have i told you guys about my speech class in college how you're not allowed to say um we had to do an um speech and every time you said um the whole class goes um back to you and i just said um every other word as a result of like thinking about it so much.
13:00How many good classes did you take in college? A lot. Really? I liked school. I took one good class in all of college. Public speaking? Negotiations. It was truly a fascinating class. You learned about the power of giving the first offer versus the other person giving the first offer. And it really opened my eyes in negotiations that you can't – around people's different priorities and identifying the priority of the person on the other end of the table because in many cases, you both can have a win-win. And what matters to you may not actually matter to them and vice versa. Love it. So in negotiations, you learned you give the first offer.
13:48so I I don't know if I want to say my negotiating tactic here because I use it and I'm not going to show my hand on this because I love it okay all right but I love it all that to say it was a good class great class my best class was at that I took was at um it was at the junior college because I needed to fill the credits I took it at OSU OKC and I had to go in person and it was public speaking and I remember you just stand up and you had to give your speeches and it was really hard and tough but like it was good and it made a big impression on me made your podcaster look at that look at that um the other thing oh um the other thing i think you both say um because p and i edit on a transcript and like um is in the transcript quite often okay so here is what we are going to do but hold on um just for tate it is not a bad thing it's not a habit it's developmental it's a phase very good to know we are going to pull the transcript from two episodes ago okay and we're gonna throw it into chat gpt and we're gonna say who said more ums well it's it's not smart enough to know the difference between the two speakers so oh okay maybe apparently only let's only do it if it would take it takes three seconds 30 seconds yeah a couple minutes if it takes under five minutes let's do it it's worth it p can do it and raise your hand at me okay so she's gonna do it right now okay great So we're going to get the info on that.
15:1089 % of dog parents consider their dog their best friend in the world, and 31 % say they would let their pups eat off their own fork. That's a lie. It's got to be higher than that. I think that'd be very nice. I don't know if we want to put out into the universe that our growth has slowed.
17:31Well, our growth, the viewership numbers have not slowed. But the subscription numbers have not been climbing at the rate that I would have thought they were. The views are actually very, very good. So thank you all for viewing. Thank you for being here. And if you're viewing, please subscribe. Yeah. Thank you. Since you're here. And if you don't subscribe, I'd love to know why. Comment why. You know what? I have two podcasts I love to listen to. I love to listen to The Toast and I love to listen to the Morgan Stewart show. Why would I not subscribe? Am I subscribed? I wonder. Am I the problem?
18:01I think you are subscribed on Spotify. I would think both. I get a notification. Then you're subscribed. When they drop. Okay, so I'm subscribed. So I'm doing. Okay, so yeah, you guys. You guys subscribe to us. I'm subscribed to one podcast. All in. All in. We know this. The all in pod. All right. I want to talk to you. So this episode's got some really good stuff in it. Okay. But I want to explain to you one thing that I find fascinating. All right. Bear with me here because this is interesting. On the back of this developmental leap once we travel. Okay.
18:40So first thing we learned, I'm going to take you through this. Okay. And I'm going to do it in, I think, a very clear and concise way. Whoa, Ginny in Paris. There's a train. It's the train. Bubba does that too. She says choo-choo when she hears the train. Jenny's investigating. Hi, Jenny. That was the train. You know, I need to think of the right way to say this, but we do need to land the plane. Me? If you would say. Okay. Yeah. All right. So I posted. I'm going to start talking about something different. Okay. I posted two bathing suit options. One was pink. One was blue. Yes. And people in the comments will never pick the pink one.
19:12People in the comments are saying you should not put your kid in blue for the swimming pool. Makes a lot of sense. Because then, and this is a water safety thing, you guys. So I really do think you should pay attention to that part of it, which is don't put your kid in a blue bathing suit because you can't see them in the water as easily. Okay. So in pools, what are the two safest colors bathing suits to wear? Guess. Orange. Yes. Neon orange. Pink? And neon pink. Yes. Wow. Yeah. In lakes, lime green, yellow makes a lot of sense, and neon orange. Okay. Now on to swimming. On the back of that. babies who swim develop faster so they looked at infants and weekly water sessions versus infants not turns out the ones that were taking the swim lessons developed faster basically they had better coordination balance body control they walked faster okay how interesting is that well it's great to hear because i think we're going to do a prediction okay i think we will over the the seasonal supporting months be swimming five times a week.
20:17But here's the other thing. So we did, we call them La-Di-Dah swim lessons. Like learn to book. Those count. Just getting them in the pool in general counts. Of course. Of course. I do want her to learn how to swim very soon. Yeah. We were thinking about doing that. We always tell you this. We're thinking about doing ISR. Our new updated plan on it is whenever Rocky can do it, which I know Rocky could technically do it right now. We're going to wait until the pool is ready. I got this lady who's apparently like. The lady. The lady. She's booked, so we need to get a hold of her. She's not ISR. It's kind of like a hybrid.
20:49A hybrid. I'm down for that. Yeah. Okay. So 90 % of your adult brain develops between zero to five. Following me? I thought it was zero to seven. Nope. It's zero to five. 90 % of your adult brain develops between zero to five. Okay. So the TLDR here, neurons that fire together wire together, which is also why they say surround yourself with people who light you up because that applies to adults too but basically repetition equals permanent wiring so what you do from zero to five you got a you're like a sponge from zero to five okay so let's say we do a lot of swimming and we do a lot of playing catch which we've been doing we do a lot of kicking the ball we do a lot of spanish speaking and english speaking all of that stays from zero to five and you create the neurons for that when you turn six and seven, the things you weren't practicing, they go away.
21:40Boom. They go away. They're just like, get them out, get them banned. So they don't stay. So it's very important what you do from zero to five. Now, this is the part that I find the most fascinating from zero to five. Your brain is in something called the theta state, which is the state that monks try to achieve whenever they're meditating. And it's literally where your brain is a sponge. So, so it's like very easy for you to hear a Spanish, like watch a Spanish speaking show and then boom, turn around and regurgitate it. Cause it's always like, why can my daughter learn Spanish faster than me?
22:11Like she, I had to label what paper towels were yesterday. You guys, it's a, see, I can't remember it. Savvy, Savvy. I'll remember in a sec. Servietta. Servietta. Yeah. And Bubber says servietta. She also says paper towel. She knows paper towel in both languages. I'm still trying to remember servietta right now so basically that may not even be the right word zero to five they're in there like a constant absorption state from six to seven they switch to the alpha waves which are relaxed still yeah okay but they're a little more intense then from that once you hit puberty from there you go into the beta waves which is like the adult analytical mode yeah and i know we're not allowed to talk about santa on here because we got in trouble again for talking about you know who I'm talking about?
22:58Yeah. Ho, ho, ho. Him. But that's why people, their little kids are able to - Jules realized how long it clocked for me to turn the letters into the thing without saying it out loud. The guy with the red. Yeah. Who delivers presents. Yeah. Him. It's why kids are able to believe in him and not analytically be like, that doesn't make sense. Because that's just an example. Okay? And they can learn languages effortlessly. Here's what really lands. here's why this really lands for me is it's a very very good reminder that as a parent we can't wait for our child to develop before we start making memories with them oh Harrison what a lovely take away it truly starts the day they are born and frankly I'd argue it starts the moment that your partner gets pregnant well I think that there's okay so tate is at this 22 month age right now where we're watching a lot of development happening but it is really important that we get there with her and we review triangles and we play catch and we go on walks and she gets to run and you do all of these things because she's she's just a sponge right now yeah and what's so like what dynamic is so unique to me is like being away from her for a night was a lot and i wouldn't have thought coming into parenting that would be the case like i would have thought coming into parenting like you know and i'm sure we'll get there at a point but we'd really like you know the like let's get away for for five days it's like being away for a night is is too much i don't want to miss a moment in in in this time so and then i really i don't know why I'm kind of hesitating why when I'm saying it like I don't being away from from her and him for one night is too much well she's in she's I mean her verse him right now is very different he's doing the same thing when you come back but if you miss a night you miss a day with her you come back and we've learned five new words and we're now playing catch and we now jump on the couch every night like it's just there's so much happening with her and it's really fun to witness so Jules had sent me this video it's actually really funny though like I was talking to
25:23I don't know if I want to put his name out there so we'll see a friend who's coming into town and he was like because we have a work thing going on and I was like are you coming in Monday night or Tuesday morning and I was like alright cool why because I don't want to be away from my little man for an extra night It's really, I get it. Yeah, he's like one night's enough. I really get it, but that's what's changed about even the way you travel. So Jules sent me this video, and it was a mom being like, normalize telling your kids what they're doing is not cool. Like, I don't want to watch you jump off.
26:00Not special. Not special. I don't want to watch you jump off the diving board again. It's not interesting. And I told Jules, I completely disagree with that video. Parents, normalize telling your kid that something that they're doing is boring and not worth witnessing. Elio just asked me to watch him jump down from a rock, not even an impressive rock, a small rock. And I looked at him and I said, no, why? I'm not sending another man into the world who thinks everything he does needs witnessing. I think this is very nuanced. I think this is very nuanced. Well, maybe her kid was older and she's watched him jump off the diving board a million times i don't know but for me when bubber is like what she's always like watch me kick the ball she doesn't say that but like kick and then like mama and she wants us to watch it is but i think to encourage growth they're gonna need to delineate between what is like a true everyday um action versus what is is something different and over time it it gradually scales and i don't want to say i disagree with that mom's video because like she's also like i like the first time bubber jumps off the the diving board it's going to be a massive massive moment because it shows her overcoming fear and doing something new etc etc but like yes eventually it's going to get to the point where like bubber that was once special oh no i don't agree actually we've now grown no i'll watch every time honey to the next phase of you of you learning and developing and maybe it'll be Are you diving off of the diving board?
27:35Oh, I will watch her every time. Every time. You know what? When I played volleyball in high school, I still used to look in the stands and see my parents making sure they were watching. I didn't want them to miss a play. And that was in high school. So I actually will plant my flag in the ground and say every time she does something, I'm going to think it's cool. Even if I've seen her do it a million times. I think that saying that in theory versus living in reality is you want your kid to grow and by saying that it doesn't encourage growth what think about her first step yeah like and how you celebrated the first step versus her walking now but if she wants me to watch her walking i'd love to watch her she was yes but we're we're not talking about watching and giving them attention which i think that was the video critical that's we're talking about telling them it's special no no that's not what i was told i was told telling your kid something special versus giving them attention.
28:32That's very different things. Well, the video itself, the lady or the kid was like, watch me jump off of this stoop, essentially, like a one-foot stoop. And I would watch them and I would explain to them. That it wasn't that cool? Why I would give them the context around it. Absolutely. You know what I learned from Alex? The power of commentating to your child. We narrate Tate's life 24-7. like we narrate we are narrate that for them we were getting ready yesterday and harrison put on jean shorts and she went into her room and brought us her jeans and she wanted to put on the jeans because he had on the jeans and the minute she put the jeans on she kept trying to lift them up to make her shorts because his were shorts but hers weren't you know obviously jeans and we were just narrating to her like yes dad has her short yours are not but we have a pair that are shorter do you want the no she wanted her she couldn't it was like the brain watching the short circuit occur from like she had the jeans on but when we brought her the jean shorts she couldn't swap the jeans for the jean shorts because like she already had the thing that that i had on it was like it was adorable but harrison was like wow we narrate to her 24 7 and we do we're just constantly talking to her like if you heard the three of us in the room you'd think harrison and i were having a conversation we weren't talking to each other at all we were just talking to her like we're playing catch right now as you saw yesterday i did and so we can't we narrate that and right now the that ability to make that simple catch is it is very special and cheerworthy and we and we tell her that accordingly versus when not like i don't know it's just this phase it is so dang cute um would you like to know how many times you say um yes while narrating yes podcast p said p didn't say P said estimate.
30:24I'm saying directionally. Harrison said how many times last episode? Oh, I'm going to say 19. 42. Lower. 28. Okay. As compared to Alex. Oh, no. Come on, Alex. Any guesses? 12. 32. 16. Yes! Okay, so can we do this? Because in this episode, we can't do it because we used it too much as a subject. Yeah. But next episode, let's have a encounter and then the loser needs to do something on the next episode. And the next episode, are we recording in Atlanta? No. We're not. I don't think so. We're recording when we get back? Aren't you coming back on Sunday? No. We're coming back on Monday. We just caught something.
31:22Well, I already had it caught. I thought we were recording it. We're going to a friend's birthday party in Atlanta for their kid. It's a one-year-old birthday party. So we'll record Sunday morning. Okay. We're going to figure out where we're recording, but the episode will obviously, it will come. There's the... You're losing. Wow. Tragic. Anyways, we're going to Atlanta. We're leaving tomorrow, Saturday. Flying with the kiddos. Going to a circus-themed birthday party. I actually can't wait. It'll be fun. I've never really been to Atlanta. Look, I've flown through there. I was there for the national championship in 2018, Alabama, Georgia.
32:04Who won? Alabama overtime. Roll Tide. Tua Taguay-Libella. Very hard last name to pronounce. Overtime touchdown to Devontae Smith. How about that? Good memory. So let's discuss this. We need to stop saying to moms that they have a good baby or a bad... What? You know, this is a very kid-heavy episode. Can we look at a non-kid subject now, maybe? Siete was bought by Pepsi. Did you know this? Siete chips, which I'm obsessed with. Yeah,$2 billion. So when were they bought? Oh, 18 months ago. Okay. And now the Siete founders were from here, Austin, right? I believe it's an Austin company. It's an Austin brand.
32:47so how old were they the business how yes i think maybe i would guess 10 to 12 years old it's so funny because i feel like siate came out of nowhere and what was their first was it the chip and then they started doing tortillas then beans i mean now they have salsa the whole thing so i have no idea what the first product was this is going to be a point for siate and pepsi all right So the headline was Pepsi Acquire Siete and Changes All the Ingredients. So you're like, oh my gosh, come on, because Siete was your healthy chip option. You could pronounce all the ingredients. All right. Well, let me explain to you.
33:27You didn't say what the headline was. Yeah, I did. Well, it's cut off. So it's actually, but Pepsi acquired Siete. She did say the headline. What was the headline? And they changed the ingredients. Siete was acquired by Pepsi and they changed the ingredients. Okay, sorry. All right. Ingredients that have changed. So the grain-free almond flour tortillas. The original ingredients. Almond flour, tapioca starch, water, sea salt, xanthan gum, which honestly is incredible that they were able to make a tortilla out of that. All right. Now the new ingredients. Well, I got to kind of call and push back on that.
34:02Okay. Push. Well, you can make a tortilla out of corn. Okay, great. All right. All right. Almond flour, tapioca starch, water. These are the new ingredients. Almond flour, tapioca starch, water, sea salt, Zantham gum, apple cider vinegar. I'm not mad about that. Berry extract to preserve freshness. Not mad about that. Oregano extract to preserve freshness. Not mad about that. And flaxseed extract to preserve. What a crazy headline. I thought I was going to be reading this and it was going to be a bunch of stuff I couldn't pronounce. Yeah, I think that, once again, it speaks to the power of reading beyond the headline.
34:41And I think on one end, you do see times where companies get acquired and you see a pretty big swap of ingredients. But I think that in this situation, what the Ciete brand stood for was so clear. and I'm sure that the founders did a really good job at fighting for and recognizing the importance of their clean ingredients and also recognizing when you get bought, minor tweaks are going to be made, but those tweaks can't affect the integrity of your products and it feels like this is a situation where that occurred. I agree. Let's talk about hers, you guys. If you've tried everything to lose weight and you still feel stuck, this summer can be different.

37:47Organic corn, water, slaked lime. What does that mean? S-L-A-K-E-D, lime, and kosher salt. Wow, those are great ingredients. And the flour one has? Five ingredients. Which are? Wheat flour, cassava, avocado oil, salt, and water. That's a good one. There we go. That's the one I think we were buying. And that's a which one? That's the flour. Vista Ramosa. Vista Ramosa flour tortilla. I love a flour tortilla anyways. Me as well. Are you getting corn or flour? Flour every time. What are you getting? Because I'm always ordering fajitas. What do you want? Flour or corn? Just answer with one word. No, it's not one word.
38:29Okay. Okay. For beef, shrimp, and chicken fajitas, we're doing flour. For when we get pork in the mix, little al pastor, we go corn. Okay. Okay. There was a mom hack, and I know we're a little heavy on the mom stuff right now. By the way, Alex asked me. We were at Matt's last night, and Alex asked me what I was getting. I've only gotten over the past 12 times to Matt's I've gotten the same thing. To the point, my friend Nick sitting across from me replied with my order. Yeah, because I know what he's getting. He's getting the rib eye tacos. Why are you asking that? Yeah, and I was like, thank you.
39:07You're correct. He was very upset. This is really funny. So most unhinged mom hacks. I want to do this and then I want to jump to book club because we have book club tonight. And it's really funny about what we're doing for our book club. I'm also reading two new books. So we can discuss that in a moment. But most unhinged mom hacks. Are you ready, Harrison? This is good. I told my kids the Tooth Fairy bases payouts on tooth quality. Better tooth quality, more brushed teeth, more money. I know I'm just pleading the fifth on these parents. Like I still don't know my view on this. My baby refused to sleep without holding my hair, so I bought her a wig to sleep in the crib with.
39:43Isn't that cute? This is my favorite. Sorry, can you repeat that one? Her baby refused to sleep unless she was holding her mama's hair, so she got her a wig. That doesn't sound very safe. I do have questions on the safety of that. We are not endorsing that, but I do think it's cute. I put myself in timeout. Sorry, mommy was not kind and got loud. She needs a five-minute timeout. That's pretty funny. But was it because she was not being nice? Don't talk to me because I need to find my calm. I turned my TV volume down to five so my kids are forced to be as quiet as possible to hear what's happening.
40:18I like putting yourself in timeout. Like, you also go to timeout. Mama also goes to timeout. But was the mom misbehaved? Well, she said that she was not kind. She was trying not to be misbehaved. Maybe she got a little overwhelmed. Yeah, I think that's great. But, yeah. This is the best one. Ready? Yeah, my neck is just... Calamari round chicken. salmon pink chicken shrimp small chicken everything is chicken i hate that that's so funny no i think that oh yeah i i just i'm i'm like anti like i'm i'm anti not telling the truth to your kids well i like it i think it's cute and then for us i said one of our hacks is now like with bubber how she sees stuffed animals in store she just gives him a hug and puts him back back so i i have a great great great take on this okay great take on this better be good it's self-proclaimed great because we go to to the clugsville market pretty consistently and they have beanie babies there and bubba always gets those beanie babies and she gets one for everyone that we're with yeah so if we're there with the neighbors and For dada, for mama, for Wawa.
41:27Baba, everyone, she gets them. But she always knows to put them back. And she puts them back in an organized way every time. Because we've never, ever bought her one. The minute that we buy her one and she realizes she can take one home, the whole thing goes up. So we can never buy her a stuffed animal out and about for now. Out and about. We can't buy. we want to buy our stuffed animals no problem she can't be there with us but i think she can't be there that's fair or else every time we go in i think it's really good actually i'm very we just got to know like we have a line and that's why it works so well and the minute that we to use your words get off that line i think we're gonna those that whole interaction is gonna change in dc we were waiting on the tour bus because we were doing like one of those on off buses and there was a bunch of hanging um stuffed animals and i let her get them off give it a hug and put it back.
42:23Give it a hug, put it back. And she hugged each one. A Brasso, she pointed to the next one. If she would have known that she could have taken that thing home. Nope. So is that a lie, I guess, on the topic of all this? No. Because we're not saying she can't take them home. We're just telling her to put it back. Well, she can't purchase it. That's not a lie. She's not allowed to purchase. She doesn't have money to purchase it. So no, that's not a lie. Here we go. I do think I would love to hear how people do handle in the comments, if you're older than us on this parenting journey, how do you handle buying things with your kid?
42:51Like how do you go to target and she sees the easy bake oven or the baby doll it's like you can't have that well i just think developmentally that's something that's very hard for her to grasp right now but as she gets older she's going to be able to grasp that so part of me saying why what i'm saying is because like i understand i look at how she processes things yeah i assume in three months six months she will very much be able to grasp the concept that sometimes you you're able to buy things and take them home other times you're not that just won't land today it's just a slippery slope though if you buy them one thing because then she knows like you can buy stuff but she's gonna she knows we can buy stuff like she's gonna be able to click in like we go to target and we get like an air fryer but like you just can't buy the toys like she knows she's going to and we're gonna want to buy her the toys but right now she just can't i i don't think she can process that You can get them sometimes and not others.
43:47Yeah, but I want to have a good relationship with this. Like, I don't know how to do it. Okay. I trust you'll be able to figure that out. We don't want to talk about, you know, the hypotheticals. All right, we got book club tonight, guys. And there was a photo that I came across online. I have done God's work. My wife had her friends over yesterday for book club. There's like probably 18 bottles of wine. And he said, apparently the book club was 750. Apparently the book was 750 milliliters and everyone finished it. that's funny I I'm the whistleblower on book club I've discovered that book club is is being masked as girls night and book club is otherwise known girls night is being masked as book club girls night is being masters book club I think that every time I go in golf now I'm gonna say I'm going to book club it's that simple it's that's the book but tonight so tonight is just the book club players it's the book club group text but we've invited the husbands and we were going to do a boat day a boat night about 4 p.m that's what the time the call time was 4 p.m they've closed lake austin for now the the second day yeah the lake is closed i think all the water um all the rain from the past week puts a bunch of debris into into the lake when it gets jammed out from like Travis.
45:07Yeah, so there's no, so we had, I guess I'll explain it further. So we know Shannon is moving and she's moving next week and I'm very sad about that. So we got these cups made for the boat and they say keep Kansas City weird. Yes. As an ode to keep Austin weird. And everyone was going to bring stuff and blah, blah. It was going to be great on the boat and the boys were going to come. But now, since the lake is closed, pivoting to, I don't know what we're pivoting to, but I'm upset because I am a bathing suit. A simple suggestion. What? Like, I don't get why we just don't Uber to ski shorts. It's just, like, not nearly as fun.
45:45It is the best option. What if you fettied to ski shorts? What's a fettie? Like, everyone go to ski shorts together. I agree with Ubering 30 minutes to ski shorts isn't fun. Fettie? It's like a Uber of a party bus sprinter van. Like, you could put all 12 of you in it. How do we get that? The Fetty app? The Fetty Wap? That's what I was going to say. Is it? Fetty Wap. He has so many good songs. Sometimes I get on like the Fetty Wap. RFG Island, is that him? So the listener is going to be into, they're going to have a funny experience there, the social listener. Because normally they only see one angle.
46:30Okay. But we're doing a new clipping strategy. Yeah. Where basically you're just going to be able to get clips more quickly. Okay. But there's going to be less editing in them. Right. They're just going to be through. Yeah. And I've been doing a lot of like things this episode. You're a consumer. Oh. Like a lot of neck rolls. No, not picking my nose, Alex.
46:58Airsten would never do that. The clips are going to be funny. Because like this neck situation is a disaster. I know, but you just got to get over it. Also, let's talk about your over-consumerism on the high rocks, too. What was wrong with the pink ones? Why did we need the blue ones? I wore them out. Okay, that's fine. If that's the answer, fine. Yeah. And did you throw them out? I struggle throwing things out. That's your problem, honey. Yeah. You're never going to wear them again. Let's get rid of them. Yeah. There's a donate box. Do the donate. You know, these, it's funny. I like the pink ones.
47:28Let's just get them up for the camera. Beautiful. I like these much more. I like the pink ones way more. but the pink ones are a little like it's funny they are lime green but the pink ones are a little more aggressive in your face these I do feel are a little more subtle better for day to day wear it's Hirox X Puma yeah Puma is the Hirox shoe they're really doing a good job with the Hirox stuff okay so we're gonna get the Fetty app and I'm gonna suggest that we go I can't believe you guys never heard of Fetty though this is one I'd love to make nevermind we're just gonna keep going uh sprinter van uber okay so we can all fit in there and every this is like how people go out to like what is it what's the far lake lake austin travis lake travis like everyone fetties out there okay so we'll i'll suggest because what we're gonna do now is maybe we go to taco flats because like we're all obsessed with taco flats okay and then maybe we could fetty to ski shores yeah because we all have a babysitter at four like that's so i texted everyone yesterday and i was like all right here's the thing the lake is closed which is very sad but we all have our sitters lined up okay so we're doing you send them the screenshot that we got from the boat club no i okay i wish you did why because like saying the lake is closed sounds like a bit of a like you know where did you hear that lame excuse versus the boat club sent an explicit email clarifying that the that the city of austin closed the lake and that everything was canceled i don't want like it to be like harrison didn't want to take everyone on the boat and i think alex has built enough goodwill with her friends that also like you're gonna drive by the lake and see no one is on it no because you are gonna see people on it why well you can tell them all tonight why are we gonna see people on it because people some people are still gonna go in the lake like if you live on the lake you're still gonna probably take your boat out it's closed
49:30what i don't know how they're going to enforce no boats out there they'll have the police the water police okay so we'll see send me the email i'll send it to the group i sent you the email for this specific reason well i will distribute it speaking of distribution let's discuss the distribution of formula in the airports okay this this is far and away our most like kid parenting heavy topic episode ever all right let me think of a non-parenting heavy well why don't you bring one to the class okay let's talk about the ai hack okay okay oh yay well i mean like i love i love the kids topics and the parenting but i love diversity of topic mix but why didn't you say this yesterday when we were planning the episode correct can i say too i'm craving ugh, I'm literally addicted.
50:20I don't wanna talk to you, not just keep like ripping through these topics. To the flock chicken sticks. They are so good, I'm having one a day. Sometimes two. Thank you. Alright, go. Well let's just talk, I love you. I feel like you and I haven't talked all episode. I feel like we're just following the agenda. Do you want me to tell them about what I said to you last night? I wanna hang out with you more. I wanna go on a date. Look at that, let's hang out on a camera in front of a ton of people. Okay, I just... What do you guys normally talk about on a date? That's a great question, Jules. I mean, there's a lot of talk about how amazing Bubba is.
50:56But if we ban child talk, if we're doing no child talk, sometimes Harrison's really good at doing check-ins. He'll be like, how are you feeling about life? How are you feeling about, I don't know. You asked me a lot of in-depth questions. Let's do a live check-in. Okay, do it. Okay. Well, why don't we finish? So I think. How are you feeling about your friends? Great. Okay. Really great. And what is your mix of dad friends versus non, like entrepreneur friends, social friends? Right now, it feels pretty well distributed. I'm surprised at how many non-dad friends I have that I still keep up with.
51:38And not necessarily in quantity, but that hasn't been as much of a different line as I would have thought. Okay. And how are you feeling about your health? Very good. And the biggest breakthrough for me is non-alcoholic beers. I think I had six non-alcoholic beers last night. And I wanted to talk to you about this, Jules. I woke up today. Here's why I loved it. Because I felt like everyone last night was drinking with the exception of one other person. And I just felt like I was fully there, not missing out on anything.
52:20And like I woke up today, worked, had a breakfast, met with the contractor, and I'm now here. Like I am fully locked in today. And if I had six beers last night, I just wouldn't be. Right. So non-alc beers have been a breakthrough. because normally when I'm not drinking, I don't want to be social. And then I like all over swing back. So I'm feeling really good about the health. Too many dad oriented injuries, but that's life. What is going on with the shoulders? I took my neck sleeping. There's nothing worse. Okay, so you're feeling good about your health and you're feeling good about your friends.
52:58How are you feeling about work? How's flock? Feels like there's been a lot of flock buzz this week. I would say for lack of a better term, we're humming. It's a very exciting time. It is. I'm telling you, it's humming. And the reason why it's an exciting time at Flock is because we spent the first, call it five, six years of the business focused on one product, which is the skins, building a brand in chicken and poultry. And now, both on the combination of the brand we built and the consumer recognition we built, as well as like the increased awareness around the importance of protein consumption and protein consumption of of animal-based proteins it's allowed us to now go into all these other categories like sticks like turkey bacon like some other things that we're going to announce and so I feel like we're really starting to see like or reap the the fruits or the benefit that reap the fruits of our labor is that how you say The bags of your chickens?
54:03They are the fruits of our labor. I feel like we're – what's the saying? Whatever. I feel like we're really – no. I feel like we're really starting to see the benefits of the years of hard work and brand building. And I think the next 12 months are going to be huge for us. And you always told me you can't buy? Momentum, and there's a lot of momentum right now. So let's tighten it up a little bit here. Let's get that down to one sentence. Do it. Like, yeah, there's a really exciting time at Flock right now. We've always been obsessed with chicken and poultry and protein, and the industry is starting to catch up with us.
54:44The world is catching up with us. Yeah. Flock. Sorry, you lost me. Well, I was just trying to tighten up these things you're saying into one sentence because as we discussed yesterday, any good product can be sold in a subject line. Rose breast chicken products. There you go. Done. Boom. Boom. World's best chicken skins to world's best chicken snacks. Nope, chicken products covers it all. That's the beauty. World's best chicken products. Poultry products, actually. Yeah, poultry, exactly. Correct, correct. Good line, look at this. Chicken is a better name than poultry, though. Yeah, but the turkey bacon is so good.
55:15It's a beast. The turkey bacon. Very good. It is. Can we get more of that? Can you order it on Amazon, or do I have to go to Target to get it? We have more coming. Target. Okay, because I'd like to get my hands on that. Do you ever go out to eat and feel stressed out or disappointed because you know you can't enjoy the foods without worrying how you're going to feel afterwards? I know we all know that feeling. I know how frustrating it can be to feel off after eating. And you've tried different diets or cutting out different foods, but nothing seems to help you guys. Well, that's where Fodzyme comes in.
55:46So what is Fodzyme? It's a tasteless powder and you sprinkle it right, literally right onto your foods, okay? and it helps break down the FODMAPs that are in those foods because they can cause occasional bloating, gas, and actual pain. And so you're like, okay, well, what are FODMAPs? They're the hard to digest components in food like garlic, onions, wheat, beans, and cheese. And essentially, FODZYME makes it easier to digest these foods. And so you can eat more of what you love. And so if you're wondering, how does it work? Think about it like a lactate, okay? Because I'm lactose intolerant and I can't break down dairy so lactate helps me do that but this is for those tricky FODMAPs.
56:25It mixes in fast. It comes in portable packets so you can take it with you everywhere. You literally just sprinkle it, eat and you feel great and here's the reason it matters. You don't want to restrict yourself whenever you're going out to eat and you want to be able to travel without wondering what's on the menu and the best part about this is every customer gets a free product consultation with a registered dietitian. So that helps you build a plan that will work for your life. We're so excited to partner with Fod Simon, offer you guys 30 % off your first order when you go to Icaneatagain.com slash two parents.
56:59That's Icaneatagain.com slash two parents for 30 % off your first order. Finally, you guys, you can enjoy your favorite foods without the pain. Just go to Icaneatagain.com slash two parents. So what else should I check in with you on? And it would be non-parenting. Harrison should check in with you. Jules, I was about to do that. Alright, let me check in with you. Okay. Okay, how are you feeling? Well, I gave you specific niches to answer. Well, yeah, but you know what? I'm opening up the floor. Okay. I'm gonna give you an opportunity out of the gates to talk about anything you... When I say how you're doing, what comes to mind?
57:37Okay. So, I'm doing good. I would say I feel better at this point in my postpartum journey than I did with Tate at this point in my postpartum journey. I would actually say they are light years different. In terms of the breastfeeding, I still feel that my mind is preoccupied a lot. And I can notice some things with my body. Like I'm really hungry. Sometimes I get shaky. like there's a lot of that happening with the breastfeeding component, but breastfeeding isn't bothering me. Okay. Wait a second. This is good. I'm glad you asked the generic question. Cause I did have a breakthrough the other day.
58:20I was breast or this morning I was breastfeeding Rocky and then I started pumping and I thought, you know, your goal was loosely three months and we've just passed that. Why are you going to keep going? Cause I am going to keep going for now. I'm just going to take it day by day. And do you know that I have a lot of sadness around stopping because to me that feels like the acknowledgement that he's getting older like I don't have my little newborn anymore
58:45that makes a lot of sense it also like comparing breastfeeding as an observer Rocky versus Tate I feel like with Tate it was always a countdown and I've never heard the countdown brought up once so to me that is reflective of the toll that tate was taking on you breastfeeding wise relative to rocky and so an added layer i'm in a really good place with the breastfeeding with rocky right now um and it's very manageable and i i just love doing that with him right now so yeah that's in a good spot um health wise i have found just this past week did i i had a zoom call yesterday at 10 and i was like i'm gonna get up i'm gonna get dressed i want to do this downstairs like i finally have the pep in my step coming back a bit with energy and i felt like for the first three months I very much so what my body needed was like rest and I feel as though I'm a bit less desiring rest does that make sense yeah and I see it I really feel like with my body like for the first three months it was like I really got to be like I was craving working out and building muscle because I think that's where a lot of energy comes from too and I want to be able to like lift Tate and hold her for a long period of time that's important to me but also I noticed equally my body was like okay we need to rest but i'm starting to feel a little spark of energy come back which is nice you're doing phenomenal in terms of my friends i have found i love i love my mom friends here they get me through so much like we have this this book club group text everyone's a mom in it and like we're just putting stuff in that chat constantly about motherhood or pregnancy or this or that and like it is i really really love those girls equally i have my non-my social friends as i call them no no my social they're my they don't have kids yet um i don't know if they will have like they just they're they don't have kids and they i've seen them twice this week and they are so much fun so i'm gonna really i'm gonna really happy spot with my friends i think what's it's great to hear i think what's really nice about having both parent friends and non-parent friends is I feel like inherently when you're hanging out with your parent friends you default so much of the conversation around to your kids but my mom friends don't that's why I love these girls they all are doing something really kick-ass so I agree with that but like there's an over there's an over like there's a a broad thematic of of of that drives a lot of the conversation Yeah.
1:01:49But like I think about Shannon and Olivia. I'm like, okay, so tonight we're going to talk about how's Anadea doing? The skincare brand that she launched. We're going to talk about Evlo. Like these – and we're all going to be yelling at each other. I'm not saying you don't talk about things that aren't parenting related. No, but I'm saying I think a unique dynamic with these girls that I do love is that we really talk about both. Okay. So I'm going to spin it. Okay, spin it. To not – because – to not be defensive. I find that with my dad friends, a lot of the conversation is around, a lot of the themes of the conversation are kid oriented.
1:02:25Because that is something always going on and often the kids are there. Right. Okay? Yep. And when the kids are there versus what's really nice is the conversation with our non-parent friends, or you say my non-parent friends, flexes different muscles. and that's not to say there is an overlap and that's not to say that we only talk about one specific thing and not the other and even to the point that with my non-dad friends we also do talk about parenting and fatherhood I wasn't being defensive it felt very defensive it felt very defensive can I say this I would like to first off apologize for being defensive because that wasn't my intention maybe I over read it judge Jules well the internet's gonna judge so judge Jules has to judge okay so non-event she's gonna chalk it up to a non-event I just got what she was why you were saying what you were saying there well I but I think one thing is I'm gonna count how often the kids come up tonight that's what we're gonna do well I don't think that's necessary there's nobody that's right or wrong in this I just think one thing that I've noticed is I I am attracted to moms who are also work.
1:03:44They have more. They have different things to talk about. Yeah, of course. As a love. But yeah, we sit there and we analyze the milestones we're at. The sleep. The sleep. You know, you're doing something that you don't like. I'm hedging. No, you're like flip floppy flipper over here. I think you're being maybe a little hard on me right now in this conversation. maybe i could just think freely and just like i could have the ability to say to say we do talk about those things but i also love moms that yes have other things of course thank you there we go there it is look at us we're back there's my boy there was a lizard in our house last night which i can't believe we didn't start with this wow i was downstairs getting my pumps and i said to harrison and i was like you got to get down here right now because i had my eye on this lizard he was a little guy i was calling him like a little rocky like he was like little and i was like we got and then diana came up she was like what's going on i was like there's a lizard and we followed the lizard because i was like we can't go to bed we are not catching this lizard he went we found where the lizard came in and out of the house oh yeah yeah so that bad boy is getting sealed up today okay today i don't know how we're gonna i was not catching that thing can Can you catch a lizard?
1:05:03I feel like you can kind of like sweep it out the front door. We were going to put the cup over and then put it out the front door. Yeah. Yeah. I just think you should have more of a desire to catch the lizard or get the lizard out of the house knowing how much it really hurts my feelings. Anything for you, my love. Thank you. Thank you. I have something. Okay. You know how you're talking about how people from Minnesota ask the best questions? Yeah. it everyone is commenting that this is called minnesota nice it's like a stereotype and it it's they're nice and they're curious but there seems to be some sort of like darker layer to minnesota nice they're like maybe a little passively aggressively judging you like i didn't spend enough time there to get the feel what i will say is the amount like what blew my mind was it's like one thing when you're driving and like when we were going up to Lake Minnetonka okay we're up uh Wysada we went up to Wysada this is where all my friends are from that's so funny okay really yeah we went to my best friends a couple places I'm forgetting the names I forget them too you were sending photos it's like I want to say Smith or Studio 6 or something I thought there was a McCormick McCormick was a pub yeah to three places it's one thing when you're driving up there to be asking questions hey when you tell we're out of town like the like the um guy did about the twin stadium right like would have been fun to go to twins game when we're here he jumps in where you're from that makes sense when we are very clearly prepping for a meeting and like we have slide presentation pages on the table we have samples out like that was where it was like the the one question hey what are you guys prepping for oh just uh uh just it was a lot that was a lot or when we were leaving the the restaurant and we called it short it was just it was a lot to ask like hey we're in a rush we gotta go to ask why we're in a rush when we're in a rush it was it was a it was a big question but i didn't realize it was just like it had a name and so i don't know what my question is if there's there's other ones like that i i like that i like no we're almost done i okay i like that there's a name to it minnesota nice that's really cute yeah um i think that we on harrison just went to the bathroom and i think it's been a lovely episode and i think that we've done it okay don't you agree yeah for the most part well that's not good I don't know I actually don't have anything else well the one thing I want to discuss next week so let's let's put this docket on the next is um formula in the airports like and I posted this on my insta story but I I've had to buy diapers in the airport I've had a friend recently had to buy diapers in the airport too because you think you brought enough and it's just the day goes a little different than you planned but I've never seen formula sold in the airport and I saw a mom post a video about you know everyone was really helpful to her finding the formula.
1:08:12And I think it's a bigger issue. It's like a... It's a... Necessity. Yeah, what are the things that they can't tax? Like a necessary good or whatever? Yeah. It should be in the airport. Yeah, it should 100 % be. And I guess maybe in DFW there are some formula vending machines, but unclear. So this will be discussed next week. Okay. All right. Well, tale's old as time. The boys, they got to pee. they gotta go. Apparently. We love you guys. Thank you so much for listening and have a happy weekend. Thank you for listening. That was my best Harrison impression. Welcome back to another episode of Two Parents & A Podcast — it's FRIDAY (and yes, as promised, Harrison has brought his Friday energy!!!). For our listeners who like a parent-heavy episode more than Harrison — this one is for you!! (lol)
OK so - did you know 90% of your adult brain develops between 0 & 5?! WE DIDN’T! So we dug into a few child development topics on this episode: First… your toddler saying "um" isn't rude (side note: is it rude for adults to say um?!), it's actually an important development milestone. Other interesting things: babies who swim actually DEVELOP FASTER (better coordination, balance & body control, and they walk faster too!) and why kids in the 0-5 range absorb language SO much easier than we do as adults (it's a brain state thing called theta and it's genuinely fascinating).
Since that was “too much parenting talk” for Harrison, we did one of our date night check-ins live on the pod (ok guys, this is Jules now — would you imagine their date night convo has much to do with kids?? and when they said "kids aside," the updates also primarily revolved around parenting LOL. But no, we get a really good Flock update and a feeding journey update from Alex in this section).
Other stuff: West & Jesse are friends again?, PSA on why you should never put your kid in a blue bathing suit (safety!!), Siete is (kind of) changing their ingredients after being acquired by Pepsi, there's a LIZARD in our house, and Harrison is still on that book club is just girls night in disguise.
OH and Ginny made her pod debut!!
LOVE YOU GUYS!
