In short
The episode is a pregnancy Q&A from Two Parents and a Podcast covering: how they planned and timed baby #2, when they’re due, induction preferences, gender reveal plans, wedding timing, desired age gaps (aiming for “two under two”), breastfeeding plans, and whether baby #2 joins nanny share. They discuss relationship changes while Alex is sick and in a “hermit era,” plus how their toddler Tate may or may not understand the pregnancy.
Guests
none; it’s just the hosts, Jules and Harrison (and they mention “Alex” as Jules’ partner).
Key claims
they conceived on the third cycle after two cycles; Jules felt ready around month four postpartum; they’re due in April and plan to induce in the 39-week range again; they’ll reveal gender next week/soon after; they want to breastfeed again with a 90/10 breastmilk/formula goal; baby #2 will not join nanny share due to age-gap/attention concerns.
Notable examples
Tate hugging a baby doll; the “no comment zone” for the guy about bump timing; their earlier pregnancy announcement due to Jules’ sickness; and the “wedding in or around a year” idea.

28No. I didn't think so. Not at all. Not at all. There was one I cropped in on, because you kind of could tell, but I think it's cute that you show earlier. It's nice. Last night at ACL. I don't... I was truly just plopped over, and it was nice to have the belly to kind of give me my reasoning. Yeah, but I'm on the Jules. train here. I think it's been, I haven't noticed it. I think you look amazing. You've noticed no bump. And you look amazing with the bump as well. That's what I'm saying. I like the bump. You look amazing with the bump, without the bump. You're not letting me have my dialogue here.
07I think that you show more. I have learned, not through the internet, but through life, this is just a no comment zone for the guy. Okay, let me talk to myself for a second. Ladies, if you have had two, three, four kids, I want, could you let me know if with each baby do you pop sooner because to me my observation just my observation a single observation on this podcast is that i think that i'm popping more sooner and my observation just don't respond you are the most beautiful woman in the world no no it's two parents sure is sure is um all right so today's the q a episode yes i do want to know if my volume's off My ears still haven't fully unpopped from my flights.
55You didn't tell them you went out of town. So I didn't post that Harrison went out of town because, well, I never post it when you do. And if I do post that you do, it's always on the wrong day, just so everyone knows. But he went to L.A. for two nights. But I feel like this is Thursday episode content. Oh, it is. So we can talk about it later. I had a bunch of things I wanted to talk about about my trip. And I'm like, you know what? We're going to save him. Bubba was so excited. Harrison got to wake her up from her nap yesterday. Da-da, da-da. But you could see her. She would get up, and she was getting up, and she didn't notice.
27And then she noticed it was me. Yeah. And she... Every time the door opened while you were gone, because when you open our door, we have this, we always call it Fort Knox alarm system. So it says front door. She would go, da-da. She thought you were home, and then it was never you, and then it was you. So that was exciting for her. But yeah, Harrison was gone, and he... his you're like a little sick mixed with like your ears haven't unpopped so he can't hear himself so at acl yesterday he was like do you want a burger and i was like what it's a disaster but we had a good night's sleep and so we've got a bunch of questions that you guys submitted we're gonna go through them and i just think that we're gonna go through them one by one i sort of put them in an order but mainly i mean the other i would say they're in an order but my favorite one is does Tate understand I'm pregnant, but that one's towards the end.
17Um, okay. So let's just get into it. Some of these are repetitive from last week from the Thursday episode, but was it planned? Yes. Um, it was planned. I had two cycles as we call it on the pod. And then we got pregnant on the third. Somebody asked me, did it take you longer to get pregnant this time than last time? And the answer to that is yes, it did. Right. Cause last time it was one cycle. This time it was two, got pregnant before the third. I feel very fortunate. Very, very, like you guys, we feel very blessed. But yes, it was planned. How did you know you were ready for a second baby? I love this question.
00We had a lot of this one. How did you know you were ready? So Harrison was ready month one. He was like, I want five kids tomorrow. And I was like, I can't even think about having another baby. and then I remember month four rolled around and I started to feel better month four I always say my postpartum journey was my turning point and then June I felt like myself so how how long was June postpartum nine months nine months give or take we're directional with our with our months yeah so give or take yeah September 17th to June into May beginning of June because I remember we went to Charleston or Kiowa, I really felt like myself.
46Um, so that's when I was like fully ready to be like, okay, I, I could definitely do it again. And it's so funny because the moment you feel good, right? You don't like enjoy the good for a year. I just said, no, I'm ready. I could do it again. And so the way I'm going to answer it is, it was a gut feeling. And my body people told me your body will tell you when you're ready for another one. For some people that's six years for me. I know I want to have, you know, three, four kids and I know that I want to have them close together and I kind of want to get the pregnant season over with. And my body was just like, I'm ready to do it again.
22I think the other factor is a lot of people around me are, are pregnant or having second kids and they're having them close together. And I, I do think that's a factor yeah i i remember when we were in kiowa and we were driving and uh you just turned to me and you said like hey you know i i'm ready to start trying again and um it you know it's it's such a um harrison was like yes yeah that was my immediate reaction was like oh my god i've been waiting for this conversation for um nine months nine months directionally yeah nine months directionally thank you jules brain is we'll get the brain firing on all cylinders but it is such a unique thing because like then you know it's out of our hands and it's like how you know you there's that that that mismatch between starting to try and and when it actually happens that's going to say starting to try is is one mentality right and you don't know when it's going to happen and I always say it's God willing truly um and I'm really really thankful that it happened when it happened and I just like you know I feel really blessed but the the big thing for me was like my body saying okay you can try you know and so it was a gut feeling in a body feeling Guys, let's talk about parallel.
55Ever wonder why your prenatal vitamin stays the same when your body changes so much during pregnancy? It's honestly a really good question. I realized my body and baby needed different support in my first trimester versus my third trimester, but I was taking the same generic prenatal the entire time. And that is when I discovered parallel. Actually, the way I discovered it, you guys, was I did a poll on Instagram and I said, what are you guys taking? And a lot of you said parallel. They actually change their formula as you progress through each stage of pregnancy and postpartum. Parallel is the first OBGYN-founded vitamin company.
32Each pack contains a comprehensive doctor-formulated routine. No need for separate bottles. Stage-specific nutrition that changes with you from conception through postpartum. It's clean label project certified. And it's perfect for busy lives and travels because you just take a pack, right? 9:16So the next one is when are you due? I'm due in April. I there's one on here that says and I'm just going to tack this onto the end of this like second baby birth plan. So I was induced with Tate. My doctor said you can get induced anytime after 39 weeks. And I went in at 39 weeks in one day and I got induced. And listen, my birth, they say if you do that, you know, your birth is going to be a lot longer. And my birth was longer, but that was the right decision for me. Listen, my epidural didn't work. I fainted. I pushed for six hours. It was a tough birth. But I'm going to get induced again in the 39-week range because that's just my vibe, and that's some people's vibe, and that's just mine.
05I don't know if we brought this up yet. Okay. But we are in the range of my parents' anniversary. They're the same, aren't they? that's the day kudos for you for knowing i'm good with dates and names you are so good with names i didn't know you were good with dates i saw somebody the other day say or it was a meme and it's a fire hydrant um leaking and then below it is a basket but there's holes in the basket and it's like me when somebody tells me a name yes and i thought that's not me that is 99 of the world remembering names is like topic for another time i cannot believe how hard it is to do do you know the trick when somebody meets you doesn't work say it three times doesn't work I spell it hey I'm Harrison and I'll spell Harry really quick your ability to remember names kids names parents names after one interaction it's a it's a really really great skill don't ask me how to do taxes like you know what I mean we all have our strengths and weaknesses that's your area but I got your name I'll know the accountant's name Oh, so I guess where this gets me Yeah, what was the point with the anniversary?
18Yes, so Is it better To have a birth date Overlap on another meaningful date Or have it be a standalone day? Well Listen, I always say my dad and I have the same birthday And I think that's really fun An anniversary is a bit of like a different like it's I think same birthdays are really fun so you like love it I have a take yes Jules with the induction since you're scheduling it I think it's weird to schedule it on the anniversary but if it's happenstance then it's a nice fortuitous moment scheduling it on the anniversary that's weird Jules could not have nailed that more what about scheduling it if it was another on another birthday no weird No, that's weird.
10I agree. It's weird to schedule it. Okay, because I do love... I'm so with you. But I do love having the overlapping dates. I would love to have the same birthday as a kid, like what you have with your dad. But it is a little bit weird if it is scheduled. I do agree. So you just trust the process. That's when you got to trust. Okay, so here's the silver lining. I am not pregnant in the March window of your birthday. Because he would like that. No, but I would have to talk... Then I would have to leave it up to chance and just naturally go into labor, and I wouldn't like that as much. I like to have an end day.
44We would also deal with. I'm an end day girl. My family has, we have four birthdays in March, and then I have three friends' birthdays in March. Well, the friends' birthdays, they have their work. And my birthday. Those are five. And Jules' birthday. You were grouped in that four friends. Oh, thank you. Amazing. Thank you. You see what I just did there? Yeah, you made it from three to four. Yeah. You know, it's not as good if you have to call it out. like you like the real cool thing the cool thing to do there is just everyone if people caught it great if not great you know just let it let it ride yeah okay we're looking at each other okay so do in april um will you find out gender yes we have the results we have not opened the results we'll probably open them next week and then let you know the week after, I would think, would be a rough timeline on that.
37As long as you don't hold, we don't have to hold to that rough timeline. I think one thing that Alex does is she'll say something on the pod, like a timeline of what we're going to do and then stick to it. I think I want to clarify, we should have the ability to change our rights, to change the timeline of how it's all done. Well, yes, correct. But I do like to keep my promises. It's like last week I said on Thursday I've been ordering a lot of clothes and I'm going to do a reveal. And then I did the reveal because I thought I should keep that promise. Now, we will reveal the gender. I can tell you that.
11Will it be in two weeks? I don't know. Thank you. That's all I'm looking for. But I can tell you that we will tell you. That's all I'm looking for. Maybe it'll be three weeks. Maybe it'll be a week and a half. People really want to know though. I know. I want to know. Do you guys want to know? We don't want to know. Yeah. Yeah. here's the thing so did people think that because we put her in pink in the no photos oh oh no they didn't think that i'm going off by people i'm going by me that didn't clock to me okay all all um bubber wears is pink so not not an anomaly there but the other thing that i'll say is i have a lot of dms that say it's definitely a girl because i'm so sick and i'll say this my cousins my mom my aunts on my mom's side pregnancy is rough no matter the gender is what i've is what i've deducted from talking to them okay like my cousin i was like okay how are you and she's a girl and a boy i was like how are you she's i was just sick with both so i don't know that that necessarily means it's a girl um my cravings are a little different i don't know i don't know i don't really buy into the wise tales i think they're fun i love i love like you know i think they're very fun i think they're really fun i love seeing like are you sick is it salty sweet cravings the chinese calendar like i love all that stuff um the obvious next question like tacked on to this one is are you hoping for a girl or a boy i am truly not hoping for either one like we know the girl vibe I was holding Bubba today and I was just like wow like I love having my baby girl but we don't have a boy so we don't know what that feels like and I would love love love love to know what that feels like as well so yes one thing I would like to do though on this topic is and I the way we told people we were pregnant this time was a lot more like I would say transactional in nature.
16This time? Yeah. Like I feel like this time like we told people, we told people really, really early. I sent some of my friends just the pregnant emoji. I felt so sick. I was like here. Then I finally took a photo of the thing. The photos. And so I think what I would like to do is for the gender, tell people in a more creative way. Oh, okay. Yeah. And do you want to spitball some of those ideas? I think, well, I don't want to ruin it, but I have an idea that I guess we'll have to bleep out. But what I would like to do is...
50I love that. Okay. So they have an... of their own. Exactly. That's cute. But I think... A reveal of their own. Thank you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, I love that. Yeah, I'm good with that. Because like this time, I think what's interesting to note, and I actually don't think this was a question on there, but it was like differences between last time and this time and last time it felt like we didn't tell people for a really really long time yeah and this people this time we told people so early on because you were so sick it was like rather than you know everyone's where's Alex why isn't Alex going to this just kind of being on the offensive like hey you know she's in the very early stages is a pregnancy and she's not feeling great.
37So she's, um, at home in bed. Totally. As a parent, I don't need to tell you how busy you are because you know, and here's the thing. 18:57And make sure to share our code so our show can get credit. Remember, put your little ones first with healthy meals from Nurture Life. Totally. And we told our people that we felt okay telling that too. But I think back to the gender thing. Yeah, it would be cute to tell them in a fun way. I'm very – I think I'm more excited to find out the gender this time than last time. Because I understand what all it entails. Oh, I'm the polar opposite. You don't care at all. Yeah. Really? Yeah. Oh, I care so much. I'm like, are we two girl? Are we a girl family? Like, are you just a girl dad? Or are we a girl and a boy dad?
40And mom. Like, that's what I need to know. I'm like, we got that pink wallpaper. We got pink striped couches. We got floral, the playroom. Are we throwing some blue stripes in there? But I definitely want to know. Blue drapes? We have an opportunity in the drape department. Our drapes in her sleeping room are not nice. Are they sharing a room? Do we do a boy nursery or a girl nursery? Because one thing I have in me is a second nursery. That would be fun. That would be really fun to decorate. Paint another painting. So. Oh, I'm excited. Love it. Love the energy. So I'm totally with you, though, that I do want to know.
20I just am completely indifferent on what it is. Same. For baby three, though, assuming we're blessed with baby three, I would be very open to finding out at birth. I kind of am, too. Now, especially if this one's a boy and we have a girl and a boy, I'm almost going to say now we're for sure going to do it. Okay, so that's it. If it's girl, girl, then I'm going to want to know 100%. But if this goes girl, boy. Split decision. You got it. Yeah, then finding out at birth is such a good move. Love it. Okay. Okay, deal. are we going to use that as one of the things where we set it so we need to now do it I think that's a good one to say and do we'll circle back in a couple years yeah we'll just clip that and then we'll save it and then we'll commit to it oh that'll be tough but I love it my legs are crossed so I can come back on it if I want oh my goodness but I have a double cross so there I ended it do you go by that well no because then it's a triple cross but then I did this one but then I go back we can't be superstitious wedding before or after baby so thought you'd never ask I'm going to say what I think very important to have a consensus decision on this and I haven't actually told you this but I've been getting really excited about wedding planning I got some ideas love it some some more grand than others love it but i do a lot of like daydreaming about this because i got a lot of time right now in bed yeah so i start to do some digging and some things like that i so i would love to get married well let me tell you what's not happening is like i'm not getting married i'm not wearing tight leggings from now on you know it's a lot of like we're just bagging it out.
16So I'm not like putting on a wedding dress because I read and I liked this. And what did I read it in? Maybe something. I don't remember what it was, but they said, it said, when you have kids together, that's when you're married. And I really felt, I was like, oh, I totally identify with that. Right. I love that we're engaged. I love that we're going to do the formality of it, but I don't need it. Right. I feel like totally complete with our family and our relationship however i do love like i loved doing bubber's birthday so i would love to do a wedding probably in or around a year from now because we'll have her in april then we'll do like the postpartum phase start to feel good again mentally and physically and i'd love to do it then yeah um but now will we go to the courthouse between now and then and get married we could is that is that an accurate answer yeah i don't know it was new information in that Well, basically, no.
09That you're daydreaming. I guess there's new information that you're daydreaming about wedding. No, I've never said that I want to get married after the baby. 100 % you have, and you said it on the podcast. Okay, well, great. Well, I said it twice then. Jules? I don't remember. No, I think that it would be wild to do any form of wedding or celebration or party when you're not feeling great. I agree. I think that if you were having a, you know, like if you were feeling great throughout this pregnancy, then maybe that could be on the cards. But and it's the same way, like to schedule it in those early months, given the last postpartum that you felt also just like doesn't feel fair.
50Totally. I want to have fun at our wedding and like really enjoy it. Yeah, it's and but now does something like there's the transactional actual like thing happened before that where you sign the papers like feels like that happened September 17th of last year. Oh, I agree. Bubber's birthday. But yeah, I don't know. I don't I don't think we'll go to the courthouse, but maybe we will, you know, never say never. But that's just my gut feeling right now. wait yours just did a good unpop that's so nice um okay how many kids do you want age gaps was this the age gap you wanted this time i think we want four but it's it's easier no it's easier to say that not pregnant what i have to remember is that this is a season this is a phase of life and it's a short period like nine months is a short period in comparison to the whole life that these kids will have so i would love to have four but it is tough to say i will sign up for this two more times after this one time but it's such a blessing to have these kids we've always wanted four so you know i would love to try for four yeah i totally agree that five is the number
15if there's a set of twins in there maybe yeah so twins i mean if if we could if we can have twins that would be unbelievable because i think if we have twins next then i think we call it we call it so then one more pregnancy exactly and and you know what watching how hard it is on you though like if you say hey it's two and we're done I'm totally on board and supportive I would I will want to try for a third I do want to break that's kind of the common theme when I talk to these moms around me like you know I think a lot of us are like okay two break and then we can go again but yeah this is what I'm excited to answer is it harder to go from zero to one or one to two I think the answer is going to be one to two because zero to one was like real fun for us no you don't think so I think it's different yeah okay why explain different like now zero to one is like you need to completely you do need to completely restructure your life okay where you go from zero responsibility to responsibility 24-7 but one person can have a break like this morning you took Bubber so I was able to walk yes with two there's no break because you got one i've got one
47but we don't know until we have that baby that i need to call it
54you know that's what i'm saying i'm excited to answer yeah like obviously it's going to be a lot more work it's going to be a lot of added work as we say to bubber uh but like we've already we've readjusted our life like we're not living in manhattan we're living in a home in austin we have like our community our like child care strollers are you know less unknowns we know we're gonna use the snoo we're gonna try at least you know we know the bottle i know what the pumping in the middle of the night feels like but when we wake up after that pumping in the middle of the night there's two not one I don't know I don't know we don't know yet we can guess what it'll be is anyone feeling like this year's flying by way too fast and you're always asking yourself where did the time go anxiety is real and it can leave you feeling scattered and behind calm app gives you permission to slow down even when everything else is speeding up guys the calm app is the best they have meditation they have sleep stories they have breathing exercises I've absolutely loved the breathing exercises while I'm pregnant.

30EbGliss can be used with or without topical corticosteroids. Don't use if you are allergic to EbGliss. Allergic reactions can occur that can be severe. Eye problems can occur. Tell your doctor if you have new or worsening eye problems. You should not receive a live vaccine when treated with EbGliss. Before starting EbGliss, tell your doctor if you have a parasitic infection. Paid partnership with Lilly. Respect your time. Ask your doctor about EbGliss and visit EPCLIS.com or call 1-800-LILLY-RX or 1-800-545-5979. This is what I read online. It was a post and somebody was talking about, is it harder to go from zero to one or one to two?
04And the comment section overwhelmingly said either zero to one or one to two, but from there, two to three, three to four, it doesn't matter. What I've read as well is when you go from two to three, the eldest can start helping, right? Yeah, which is great. And I think that's a very successful parenting technique that a lot of families use is looping that eldest into helping the family. Totally. Okay, so age gaps. Love this age gap. Was this the age gap we wanted? I wanted loosely to have two under two. Loosely. You can't get so sweet. You don't get to pick. Right. But I knew I wanted them to not be three, four years apart because I didn't want to do the pregnancy that far apart.
55Like I'm more of the school thought of like if I have to run a marathon, I'd like to get it over with if I know it's coming. So, yeah, in this age gap in and around it. But again, you really don't get to pick. And we're blessed that this is the age gap we've landed on. But, yeah, loosely this was the age gap we wanted. age gaps for the future I don't know it's gonna be again when my body says okay you could start to try I think that that's gonna be the most important thing is that like into kid three you're making that decision because we know after kid baby two um I'll be right at the front of the line ready to go again and maybe we maybe you know we won't be able to have three but it's critical that you're making that decision once you're back to feeling like yourself totally agree totally agree i i do love to think about being intentional about all of this think about your thanksgiving table and but you know we're lucky we're lucky to have bubber so we'll see how it all importantly we are very lucky to have to have bubber so we will we will see how it all shakes out she's so nice but this is just what we would like but you don't get to design your life yes so we will see um any names picked out so i've realized i have more girl names picked out than boy names but yes I now do somebody said somebody said do you want all of their names to start with a T and I was like what did I say the other morning when I woke up and this was my 3 a.m.
28thoughts like I was trying to pick out T names for girls and boys like I was like well what if I want to do all T's and then I was like well I probably don't want to do all T's I want to do all different letters so yeah this is like the stuff that keeps moms awake in the middle of the The big development on last filming versus this filming is someone sent you a name. I loved it. That we really like. I loved it. And we really like it for both genders. And yeah, it was a family member. They texted me and it's their nickname. And they said, don't forget, Blank is a really good name for a kid. And he sent me that at nine.
08Who sent you that? No, he sent me that, but we just said it's a good name for both. It's a gender neutral name. It's a nickname. Can we hear it and just bleep it? No. No. You can't. Look at Jules trying to take advantage of her. Jules is trying to get the name. No, you can't hear it. It was so cute though. And all night long I just was like going through these names. I'm just going to text it to Alex just to really mess with Jules. Just to confirm that we're on the same page. I mean, I know we're on the same page. So we've got some front runner names. This one's entering, but I have to sit on these names for a while.
43And what I like to do, like what I did with Tate is, um, Oh, your, your brother-in-law wants to know if his questions are going to be answered on the pod. Is that literally what she just wrote? Yes. What questions did he submit? I'd have to go find them. Um, okay. Thank you. Hammer source Rex. He has no profile photo. That's, that's his name and he doesn't use instagram other than so many questions and it's probably like are you going to name the kid dave if i have to guess what the question is you're having dave's burner account no that's just no it's not a burner account it's his only one account um we will answer your questions dave if we can find them how about that um i forgot what we were talking about names picked out you said what you did with tate oh yeah good job jules What we did with Tate was we picked three names we loved, and then we had to sear and make sure.

41Tate was our front runner, but we needed to make sure it felt right, and it did. Although it took us two days to write it on the paper. Okay, we've got some good questions here. Did Harrison get a new car? We're going to save answering this for another episode. But maybe. Why don't you like Odd Fish Restaurant in Vancouver? Tell us. Vibe is off. and they love the food Harrison hates the vibe who is Harrison's best friend there's only one answer here well this is tough because people know it's probably Alex cost it's I mean like but a close second is your brother-in-law there's he asked this is a tough one you only has one godfather and it's Dave so how about that how about that for the answer
35why you why did you get silent did you give did you because i'm not i like i love my friends and i i pride myself on on my close-knit circle of friends and i think that that do you want to list all of them right now yeah probably no but they know who they are and cost and i we just it's it's been it's a very different relationship than him and i have right but a brother-in-law is a sacred relationship between you two. Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely. And I love Nader. I know. We know you do. Okay, good. Good job answering those questions. Perfect time for them to text. Lately, we've been reaching for the same thing for lunch and dinner multiple times a week.
21And you guys, it is Goodles. They have the best mac and cheese. And now that I can have dairy, I can eat the regular dairy-filled Goodles. but they have a vegan one if you are lactose intolerant. And as parents, we often make sacrifices to save time, but Goodles cups are delicious and they are so easy to make. So they have the boxed Goodles. They also have the to-go cup Goodles. They're like individual-sized cups. You pop them in the microwave, you add water, boom, done. You have a delicious meal. Every serving of Goodles mac and cheese has 14 grams of protein, seven grams of fiber with prebiotics and 21 vitamins and minerals from real plant sources this is a pregnant woman's dreams because you can eat the carbs but you're supposed to also balance it with protein to help nausea so truly i have been loving these so do what we did and get yourself some goodles pick up goodles on your next shopping trip it's available nationwide at target and walmart plus many other grocery stores and retailers and don't forget the new single serve cups.
23Okay. Are you going to breastfeed? How do you feel about breastfeeding again? So it's funny today. I was walking on the treadmill. My shirt kept popping up because I think it's my stomach's popping out a little bit. And I said to myself, I feel like I was just here slash. I feel like it was seven years ago that I was pregnant and I feel the same about breastfeeding. Like when the time comes, there will have been nine months in between, right? because I got pregnant and immediately just like weaned. There'll be eight months in between actually. And, you know, breastfeeding pumping is mentally tough, but I've done it.
02So removing the unknowns, I think the second time will be easier on me because I do hear that your body produces more milk the second time because your body knows what's happening. So I hope that's true. if that's the case and somehow perhaps I made more than just enough I would be tickled pink but as we've discussed with Tate we did 100 % breast milk for six months with this baby number two jelly bean as we call it with jelly bean I'm not going to come home from a meeting you know if I'm if I produce just enough that's when I'm going to do a formula bottle so my goal with jelly bean is a 90 10 um which i think will help take the the pressure off and so yeah i i am going to breastfeed again how do i feel about it like fine i feel fine about it it's it i would rather do it than not and that's just a personal decision and like i'm ready for it i'm mentally ready for it so i feel completely fine about it pregnancy is harder for me than breastfeeding is um and Knowing what's coming is half the battle for me.
11Like back in volleyball days, whenever we had to run sprints, those were always hard. But after I ran the first one and I knew it, it felt like I always said like I'm good. So I'm fine with that. This isn't really your area. I don't know. Yeah, I'm here. I'm here to support you, whatever you do here. Yeah, that's how I feel about it. Doing it once was probably the hardest. And the second time from there will be will be just fine. Will this baby join the nanny share? so no but yes who no but no but yes okay very interesting so what's happened is so the neighbors have a second baby um and like recently they didn't just find it recently recently so winnie is winnie's already a big sister so tate's gonna get to learn from the best here and what's what's ideally gonna happen is Maria keeps Tate and Winnie for now right like she she's doing such a wonderful job with them like developmentally and like it's just that's the perfect fit so we're gonna get somebody else to come in and probably do baby number twos exactly um which a lot of people were asking you know will this baby join the nanny share I think they're too far apart Tate and Winnie developmentally you know they're two weeks apart and I think it's a big difference and what i think's really cool about tate and winnie is you watch them push each other you watch them not push you watch them learn from each other totally it's the sweet one will pick up a skill and then two days later the other one's picking up that skill they learn to share they learn that you don't get all the attention yeah you have to divide it but i think if you put in a newer baby that can't walk yet i think that would be hard so the idea is you know kind of Second nanny share.
59Yes. Sort of a second nanny share, give or take. And then I actually don't think we have this figured out. But will the nanny share rotate? That's what I was just going to ask. Like right now. That's so true. They bounce between houses every day. But will they all four be at one house and then all four? I don't think we've gotten there yet. I think that they should all be in the same house. But here's another thing that I think could be cool. what about well it wouldn't work I was always thinking like what if we rent another office space I knew you were going to say that I knew you were going to say that we rent another office space but you need water like you need a kitchen I don't know it would be cool for Bubber and Binkers to come up here you know and we walk them every day and we hold hands and walk them up here we got a lot to figure out but the answer is no Jelly Bean will not join the nanny share.
55The age gap is too far. It wouldn't be fair. Everyone wouldn't get the attention that they needed properly. So no. Um, but would be cool. Wouldn't be cool. Don't know. Not doing that. Um, does Tate understand you're pregnant? So when I first got pregnant she had a two-week phase where she was mama 24 7 and really cuddly what want to jump in okay jump in because this has happened one day and i i can't believe we didn't tell it last week okay what happened the day that you found out you were pregnant in vancouver that 24-hour period it was the craziest thing ever if you recall she wouldn't be held by anyone else yeah it was really really cute like i would hold her she would push away like anyone anyone she was so what's what did you call them what type of tales wise tales wise tales wives tales Wives.
04Wives. Okay. I have an embarrassing story after. The wives' tale. I like, whether or not it's true, I like the wives' tale that she knew and she wanted to be there for you. So I agree. And I like to tell myself that as well. Like, she knew when we were finding out. Like, she understood. Fast forward and now Bubber's got no idea. Bubber has no idea. She was throwing those fake eggs at me the other day. And I was just like, Bubber, quit throwing. and she's got these egg shapes that connect together. She opens them up. There's 12 and there's 24. If you break them apart, she was throwing them all at me for fun.
39And we were both laughing about it, but I was just like, she doesn't. This morning, she would take them and then smash them on me. It's so cute. Because she sees me smash the eggs. Oh, crack an egg. The other cute thing, though, our neighbor across the street gave her a baby doll and she says, Bebe. Bebe. And that's really cute. and then she gives her baby a hug. So it's kind of like prepping a bit for... It's why when I Instagrammed, I put the last photo up, which is her hugging that doll. Or it's a bear. Because it reminded me of her hugging her new sibling, which I thought was really sweet.
15She's a hugger. She's a hugger. So does she understand I'm pregnant? We kind of think she does, but has forgotten. Or doesn't care, but did know when we found out. Okay, so we've got one more, which is what has been the effect on our relationship finding out you're pregnant with baby number two um so like most obvious effect on our relationship is harrison now truly carries 99 of the load that's i need to just push back on that that is very unfair to say okay so i'm carrying the load because i'm making eyelashes as i say the non-baby responsibility but you're making we cannot minimize that you are doing all the physical labor around the house also being a chef for a very mind-changing client um and also like your your full-time bubber duties so that's that's been a big shift and then other than that would you how would you say i would i would have gone in a bit of a different direction with this and i appreciate you know you you you know speaking to to the roles i've taken on but like i i actually like no BS, like you are doing the real work and the real heavy lifting.
33I think a big change in the relationship is like the relationship has gone from being outside of the house, you know, 75 % of the time to now being fully in the house. Cause like, because you're, you're, you're sick. um and or or because like you know of of the nausea and and um and i'm in my hermit era how tired you are like yeah we're just are like the traveling is stopped and uh um and yeah everything is just in the house and so it's just kind of like a a a deaf a definitive different chapter yeah um and what i do love about it though is you and i are go go go go go and we feel good when i feel good right and when things are going like we you know we love to this summer i think people saw like twice a month like we like to go somewhere we would go do interviews we would go do trips like we that's kind of the way we like to live but i also appreciate the moment that we find out i'm pregnant saying hey we're not doing that anymore like you went to la typically i would have loved to have gone but like i didn't go at all right and so just being able to adjust our relationship like that and saying i love the phase where we're at home and every every meal's at home and for me it's in bed yeah you know like that's sweet and fun too because it's special in a different way for sure really just like appreciating the chapter and even though it's like not the traditional like fun that that it's still fun in a different way it's fun in a very different way.
06Wholesome way. Yeah. Um, okay. So that's, that's the episode, you guys. That's the Q and a, thank you for submitting the questions. You're doing amazing. You too. You too, sir. Um, but yeah, that was fun. Thank you for the questions. If you have any other ones, ask them and there's some other things, but I'm going to throw up. So we got to go. Um, you're keeping that in.
