In short
The Friday Club | Thick as Mince is a comedy chat mixing pop-culture banter, pub-style “wanker” slang, and several guest-submitted horror/awkward stories.
Guests/backgrounds
No named guests appear in the transcript; it’s mainly the hosts trading stories and arguing. One recurring “Wedding singer” narrator tells a long story; another “Patreon/email” narrator tells a chat-room/sex story.
Key claims
- “Soft-top wankers” are people who immediately drop the roof when the sun comes out.
- “Gilet wankers” are real-estate/paddle/project-manager types wearing waterproof vests.
- Vintage clothing “character” is worth it, even if it’s dirty/used; others argue you should wash first.
- A wedding singer’s “active shooter” style instructions caused panic during a pheasant/shoot event.
- A teenage chat-room voyeur later meets a webcam performer years afterward.
Notable examples
- McDonald’s “battle for the fans” breakfast-meal tie-in.
- “Thick as mints” vs “Garibaldi” biscuit confusion.
- The wedding: ~25 shotgun blasts, guests crouch, then staff reveal sheep were shot; ~40 sheep killed.
- The chat-room: “Linda” (Colombian) recognized in Spain years later and becomes a real-life hookup.
- “Bathroom Olympics” holiday tradition: stealthy shower sex while kids sleep.

Your lucky jersey, your chairs, and your big cooler fit perfectly in your even bigger cargo space. And when it's go time, your 11.3-inch diagonal touchscreen's got the playbook, the playlist, and the tech to stay a step ahead. It's more than an SUV. It's your Equinox. Chevrolet. Together, let's drive. K-pop Demon Hunters, Haja Boys Breakfast Meal, and Huntrix Meal have just dropped at McDonald's. They're calling this a battle for the fans. What do you say to that, Rumi? It's not a battle. So glad the Saja boys could take breakfast and give our meal the rest of the day.
0:44It is an honor to share. No, it's our honor. It is our larger honor. No, really. Stop. You can really feel the respect in this battle. Pick a meal to pick a side. Ba-da-ba-ba-ba. And participate in McDonald's while supplies last.
1:05Hey, hey, it's the Friday Club. The weekend's here, get in that pub. It's Friday Club. Bing, bang, bosh. With all of your favourites from under the cuss. So if you want to share a story or relive a formidory, butter the wheat or clapping them cheeks, maybe you got caught by the mother-in-law having a wank. It's all here on the Friday Club.
1:30It's all here on the Friday Club. Soft top wanker. go on is that a new one i'm thinking about it earlier on well i saw one down or up it's been nice day not nice enough not things no it's not been warm enough to drive around in a soft top today if you had one though soon little as soon as it comes through clouds you're gonna want it down i once had one chris and unless it was really hot i'd not have it down yeah i'd be like that I don't know what positives there is. Wind in your hair. Yeah. That's a negative. You know, when you see people in a coat and a scarf with a roof down, they're soft-top wankers.
2:18Basically, as soon as a little bit of sun comes, it's down in it. Yeah. I think if I had one, though, I'd... Would you bet it down today? Yeah, I think I would have done. You're a soft-top wanker. Yeah, but I ain't got one. But if I had one, then I'd be like, oh. Tell you what they are good for. You know, if you've got rubbish in your back. No job. I know, and I'm not proud of it, but back in the day, you know the burger wrappers from McDonald's? They don't have fly out at speed, them bastards. What, would you just put your foot down knowing that they're going to blow? See, that's terrible. I know, and I'm not proud of it, but...
2:58Or if it's dusty over the winter, when the car's getting dusty. Yeah. So put it down just once, or the dust blow out. So you're basically cleaning your car. Then you've got to be a soft top wanker. Because you've got to put your hat and your scarf on, just dust your car off. And then somebody's going to go, look at that soft top wanker there. Do you not agree that it's a thing? People in coats and scarves with the soft top down. I can't remember seeing any. Oh, well. Yeah, I've seen them before. Yeah. I don't think it's wanker though. Someone mentioned Strava wanker as well. Yeah. What about the gilet wanker?
3:37Yeah. Somebody's mentioned that. Yeah, you're one of them. They've called it wanker's waistcoat. And they've gone on, the description, it's a noun, a black puffer vest, a waterproof gilet worn by real estate agents, high rocks trainers, paddle players, project managers who turn up to a site in a clean pair of boots. Right, yeah. A little life jacket for big four accountants that are drowning in emails. And the one that he's pictured is your exact one. So you're a gilet wanker. Paddle. Paddle as well. I've ticked two boxes. I must admit, I have worn my gilet this winter more than normal. because I was going to invest in a nice big coat but then I thought it's going to be too big for me next year, isn't it?
4:29So I've managed to get through the winter without getting a big proper jacket. So I've worn the Gillian more than... You'd have waited until next year. Yeah, when I can just get a normal size. Matty, can you just do a bit of zooming, please? Have you ever... Just waiting to get this out of the way. Have you ever seen six-inch turnips? like them oh there's a six inch one and a four inch yeah stand up and just work
5:01I like them so have you bought them that big no one fine well you want to turn them up or have you put them on a thought or they're a bit big you know what I did when I tried them on they were already turned up like that oh yeah where did you get them from the shop so don't look new the Levi's which is obviously a very, very good brand. No, I've gone from a second-hand shop. A what? A second-hand shop, or as I like to call it, a vintage shop. Can we call it a charity shop? No, it wasn't. The funds didn't go to charity. It was a... Ah, right. It was a second-hand shop. How many were they? Did you go in there?
5:3920 quid. So did you go in there thinking, I'm going to buy some trousers? Dirty, dirty trousers. I thought I need some pants, so I got some. But the dirty, like with somebody else's... somebody else's muck on. Character. You're not doing any good for your scruff reputation, Chris. They're just, yeah, they're vintage. See, I do like the fact that people are not throwing clothes away. Yeah. I do like that, but I... They're not my only second-hand put. Like, none of my jackets are new. It just blows my mind. What, not somebody else owned that one with E-Man on that? Surely not. That must... No, someone made that one.
6:18through that one. Someone wear that one. But my black one, and two black ones, and the blue one. The smell of that, like somebody else is sweating. It's been in somebody's house for years and years, and you're buying it and wearing it. In our company. Somebody's had them on, somebody else's crotch has been around them jeans. Well, yeah, I suppose. They've been washed, like. When? I'm assuming they wash them before they sell them. So you've not washed them? I've not washed them, no. Since you bought them? No. Nah. I don't think it's worth a zoom on the muck on the front. I can't believe how flabbergasted you are.
7:01I mean, obviously they've got a hole in as well, haven't they? Do you think that's original hole? Well, I've not made the hole. No, but when Levi's made them, do you think they'll put a bullet hole here? Oh, no, that's wear and tear, that. that so why not just go to M &S or top man is the top man still going now River Island River Island they just go I want to what size a waist 32 so you can't get to waste 28 leg would you be yeah but Sean like a short like short leg you can do that and you can brand new I could do yeah but I like these I like them character well well I tell you you can buy some new ones and put another in yourself and met character and put some dust on the front but then that's just extra work that i don't need doing he's looking at us as if we're stupid yeah wear them all on what's your thoughts about it honestly they're dirty and you paid 20 quid for the privilege but you know if i do you know if i went to a shop and i seen a garment that was somebody else's that i liked yeah and i bought it the first thing I'd do will be through the wash yeah but if I walk into a shop pick a pair of jeans up and the dirty I'm going oh they're dirty I'm putting them back yeah not part in my 20 quid no I'm going to next door to H &M and go and I'll just buy a new pair for 15s fast fashion though isn't it do you know is it so do you think do you think every gammon that's in one of these shops has been washed.
8:33Help us out here. I'm starting to question myself here. Like, am I snobbish? Yeah. How old are you? Some bit 42, I think. And you're earning a steady wage. Yeah. And you're buying... I like them. If he says, I like them one more time, I'm going to fucking hit him. But you can get them in your own size for probably a similar price. Yeah, but I put them on with the turn-ups and I thought, oh, I like that. i like that i'm gonna go with it well your taste is a disgrace then i'm gonna go with it i like a six inch turn up yeah you know if your mom sent you to school in trousers like that you you'd got bullied you'd be raging i've never seen getting bullied now honestly no i don't mind i think remember them evisu ones yeah they weren't that big and that was how you were they were worn yeah yeah so do you like them you know I told you it was the no party I think I'm gonna treat myself to a new fresh no pair of jeans in my size if I really like the whole I'll just put me on in no I was I was I stayed in London the after the Redding show I went to what's it called brick lane area it's all vintage shops in it so I just thought I'm gonna get some bumps did you need some like what did you leave i lost my jeans dinner i told you i lost my jeans last week you've lost a pair of jeans i'm just honestly so you've got somebody else we're in the wrong tell us unwanted dirty jeans on you've not washed them oh you keep asking it some questions anybody out there shine to them that could become that chris honestly Oh, you could be, actually, yeah.
10:19Anybody out there who goes vintage shop shopping, do you wash them before you wear them? I just needed some pants, didn't I, so I got some. Well, if you go into the letter of the law, you did need some pants and you did get some. Exactly. The fact that the mile's too big for you. Thanks to everybody who came to the Reading Live show, by the way. And, yeah, I'm still regarded as the most attractive amongst the three of us. as we learnt at the Reading show. Francesca.
10:53The lovely Francesca. I think she was a pillar, Kim. So we went off script, didn't we? And John's getting a lady, lovely lady out of the crowd. Put her on the spot, by the way, and said, go and sit on the lap. What was the terminology you went with? Might have been vulgar. Who you most want to wallop you? Maybe. I think you were a bit pleasant to you. I think you said if you had to have a one-night stand with her husband.
11:28You got the nod. Yeah, even in the second-hand jean, she'd come and sat on the lap. I think it was sympathy. You think? Yeah. You can't even give me that, can you? You can't even give me that. When she was walking off stage, I did see her go like that to me. She just went, oh. the waft across the front of the nose one as a fly in a way we've been called thick as mints last week, we're an episode ahead aren't we, so it would have been two weeks ago knowing what Gary Bould was a biscuit thick as mints I'd like to know what the terminology behind that is, thick as mints I have heard it before it's quite thick mints isn't it if you get a 500 grammer but there's nothing thicker things than a slab of mints.
12:17There are a lot thicker things than a slab of mints. There are, indeed. But it was just the fact that he came for us that we didn't know what a Garibaldi was. Is it an actual biscuit? I still don't know now. I think it might be a little bit like one of these breakfast biscuits, you know, with little bits of stuffing. I might be wrong. It might be thick as mints. I think we are thick as mints by the sounds of it. Yeah. Oh, it's one of them. Oh, I don't like them. have a look you know with with like raisins in ah soft i think that's even questionable whether that's a biscuit because they're soft aren't they that's very harsh so they're they're italian so um the gary baldy as well but i was assuming like gary it's spelt g-a-r-i-b-a-l-d-i all one word i was thinking gary baldy gary baldy yeah what did i say it was pasta yeah you did yeah thicc as mints thicc as lamb mints not just normal mints how furious we were yesterday talking about mints so I've done a spag ball yesterday like started at about 9 o 'clock at morning, you know so it got all day to simmer and mature and all that sort of stuff, so I've got I put everything in it, I mean Worcester sauce, I put my red wine in it, my herbs, everything she's come home from work and I looked at it it's a different colour what the fuck what you've done what you've done what you've done here she went oh there was some of that pasta sauce in the fridge nah I went what she said oh I just thought I'd put it in I went it's the fucking last one I'm doing that's outrageous yeah I went like that's been bad tackle that I went like are you actually fucking taking piss well you just needed using dinner I went well don't use it on my spag bol what like a jar of don't know yeah no meal but like it's just one of these pasta sauce job is a santa whatever it is yeah but not even not just a tomato sauce it were like a mascarpone sauce maybe a mascarpone is you can't it's too smooth and cheesy anyway she puts from it in it that what what what in it when I when I cooked it fix me for it still think it's all right do you know I don't put a head in it fucking make it yourself then looking forward to it we may have a tell me over there talking about that he they were going to a wedding last week not last week all this is months ago and then they pulled up at Tesco you know as you do go into a wedding or we've got a present so nipping for a bottle of a bottle of champagne or something a card one of them so he nips in she said oh get some mints as well while you come out with champagne a card and a 500 grabber she's like what's this he said you wanted some mint no all on some mints i know i can understand what he's done but at the same time why on your way to a wedding would you want 500 grams 20 fat mints when you get to the aisle and you see all the meat you've got to what does she want meat for this yeah this time of day in this point of his life going to a wedding she made him take it back in yeah she made him take it back the refund get a refund and a packet of wrigglies i'm going back in for the mints fair enough but i'm not i'm not about taking mince to customer what you're gonna do you're staying over at night well i tell you what you should do put it on your back tire keep it cold keep it cool and if summer comes and eats it from it comes and eats it or if you've got a soft top leave it down it'll blow all dust out while you're at it and you mcdonald's wrappers yep a celebrity spot on our way back from reddin at Paddington Station.
16:33I thought you were going to say Paddington Bear then. He gets him out, doesn't he? One of them were a bit, you know, starstruck. A Famous Jones. See if you can guess it. Indiana. No. Kenwin. No. Sharam. No. Aled. No. Somebody else said Aled when I said I'd seen a Famous Jones. Tom. I don't think I'd know what Aled Jones looked like if I woke up next to him. Tom would. Tom. It wasn't Tom. That would be a good one. I've got a feeling this is going to be underwhelming. Yeah. Well, we've just said Tom. Well, this is why I wanted to ask, because I was like, I walked into the wrong tube station, because I was like, no way, I've just seen X.
17:11And then I was just wondering what... I think John might be more impressed than yourself, maybe. I don't know. But I don't know. I'm thinking after then. No, not soaps. I'm going to say National Treasure. Vinnie? No. What is that, while misery? Toby.
17:36Toby Jones. I've never been this deflated since you told us that Robbie Keane fact. No! I'm not a good actor, so I'm not putting this on. I've got no idea whatsoever who Toby Jones is. If I don't know his name... Dobby. National Treasure. He was in the post office. I honestly wouldn't recognise him if he wore passes in Paddington Street Station. No. I might recognise him, but I don't think I'm getting hard on. Oh, I was like, oh my God, it's Toby Jones. Is he injured? He's small. He's very small. His wife is very small as well. He is very small. But is Dobby in Harry Potter? Never watched Harry Potter.
18:31He's in that metal detectorist one with Mackenzie Crook. See, if he'd have been dressed as Dobby walking through Parryton Street. Well, he only does his voice. He doesn't put the suit on. Oh, right. Right. Yeah, underwhelmed. Right, sorry. Massively. Massively. I was, like, really impressed. We've gone from Tom, Vinny, to this little hobbit. I do like small actors though I like Warwick I don't know why You like what? Small actors? Yeah You don't watch some of my Instagram reels Some small actors Warwick No I'm not No Oh well It was worth a try I was really impressed I think I would recognise him Yeah But only if I was If I were face on But you'd have been like that then Like Or you'd have to be on your knees Yeah Only I wouldn't like I don't think I'd recognise him on a glance, just walking past.
19:27Another side effect of the killer man read its ugly head at the weekend. What have I done there? Turned up at the venue, me, him and Glenn Little. And there was two young security guards. We got there. Doors were half six. We got there. Must have been about ten to six o 'clock. And we walked in and two lads didn't have a clue what was going on, but they just said you're a little bit early for the show him taking a step forward before he says another word I can tell you now I did not say it in the way that he's going to make out as I said it he's taking a step forward we are the show see what I mean he mustn't have heard or understood because he went pardon took another step forward we are the show and I've just carried on walking and thought I want nothing to do with this and I don't think you're meant to be to come across as how you did but we are the show we are, it was the emphasis on our we are it yeah, collective I think I was at the back and I did hear did he not say the show we are the show I'm sure it was something like that.
20:51You just said, did I hear it? No, you've just said. That's what I mean. This is why nothing that comes out of your mouth can be like, it's gospel. You weren't even there. So you're just making lies up. He's told a story, you're making lies up after it. And you know for a fact I did not say, we are the show. I just went, oh, we are the show, mate. See, what? You've not Defended yourself there You can imagine, and this is true He didn't hear slash understand what he said So he said it louder and more With more emphasis More emphasis on R And I thought, oh he's gone again And I just carried on walking And what was his response?
21:34Did you see? Or did you just get out of there? I got out of there and thought I need to get this out of John's personality And you know what I did? I went to see the manager of the venue and I said Can you please remove that bouncer outside side because he does not know who we are so if he does not know who we are I don't want to work in our gig that's exactly what I said get him out out we are the show we are the show we are the show pal how did he respond fucking let me in we got in so he it worked yeah bit diva-ish would you
22:07say do you know I am kind of a tackle in it we are sure doesn't suit him does it anybody less diva in your entire life since the flippin the killer man without me there is no sure we are the show it's bad it is very with us I agree if I went, we are the show. But I didn't go, we are the show. I went, we are the show, pal. No. So I didn't. Even just that choice of words. Maybe the choice of words were the best. But I didn't go, we are. You emphasised are. Nah. You could have been burying him gifts and singing it. You'd have still come across as a twat, I think, saying we are the show. there's other things he could have said really yeah oh yeah it's our gig part of the show yeah I'm actually part of a collective who was it was entertaining people in the venue this evening yes so yeah don't do that again please no problem say what I won't do again fucking go with you I'm wearing a different sexy on me oh yeah thanks everybody who come to the Reading show yeah really enjoyed it is that it for the shows Cardiff tomorrow which is a few might be a few tickets left that's the last of last of us tour this yeah block in it should we go more back end of the no October November I think Dublin Dublin make Dublin happy happen happen and happy maybe because we are the show you're in your teeth whitening no I'm due with them just brushes them you should try it once in a while as if that's gone he was really happy with it as well as if that's gone hygiene to me that is one of the biggest insults I've ever had in my life

So, yeah, if you haven't listened to her, she's a wedding singer. Yes. Really good wedding singer, she says. Yeah. The just... Posh douche. A little recap. The story before was that the bride was in a kilt. Sorry, the groom was in a kilt, sat on the bride's knee. He was pissed and arrogant as well. They said, oh, the wedding's not started yet. He'd come in and went, I am the wedding. And then he grabbed the tongue. That was a proper laugh, Matt, again. But during the course of the evening, he sat on the bride's knee and left a skid mark on a dress.
26:02Oh, I wasn't expecting it. I think that's why you got us. Right. Hello, lads. Wedding singer here again. Thanks for reading the skid mark story. I've got another horror story for you, which happened a few years ago. Sorry it's a long one. There's no sex or skid marks in this one, but it does involve something rather gory. I was singing and playing piano for a couple ceremony on the interim period before the wedding breakfast, where you have photographs taken, guests have canopies, etc. Situated in another beautiful Georgian stately home that stretched over a thousand acres of farmland, woodland and cottages.
26:47alongside the wedding on this day there was also a shoot occurring in the private woodland a shoot is basically where people usually posh usually posh twats i forgot that dress up in tweed and shoot pheasants in a designated woodland area they're also usually accompanied by a game keeper and retrieval dogs i'd asked the organizer about the shoot occurring at the same time as the wedding, worried that the two events happening simultaneously might cause some disturbance, which is a fair enough argument, I think, isn't it? Loud, aren't they? Loud, yeah. Loud, like shotguns. But she assured me that the woodland was far enough away and the ambience of the wedding wouldn't be ruined by gunshots.
27:33Fair enough, she said. I played and sang for the ceremony and transitioned to the space where guests were having canopies, drinks in the spring sunshine. She's very professional, isn't she? Because that's not really a question to ask, is it? No. She's getting employed to sing and play piano and whatever. Surely it's the bride and grooms. Well, there's a show on and we're getting married. Is there going to be any... If you're the singer turning up, you assume that all these questions are being asked. Yeah, you're just there to sing. Yeah, so even if it is banging in the background, it's not on you, is it?
28:06She's experienced, isn't she? Many weddings under her belt, she's... Is that not going to cause a problem? Mm-hmm. It's a beautiful day, everything a newlywed couple could wish for. The mood was relaxed, with my mellow background music reverberating in the tall halls of this stately home and out the big open windows, amidst the quiet hum of guests, chatting pleasantly and drinking champagne, until, boom, gun clicks. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. I want you in my room. about 25 gunshots in succession. Piercingly loud, absolutely terrifying. That's going to be loud. And that many? She doesn't sound like she exaggerates.
28:58No. That's a lot, 25s. A terror attack. Have you got 25 booms? She only put five, so I thought, I'll just go with fives. An active shooter. What the fuck is going on? everybody started panicking and I realised that I had a microphone in front of me. I'd worked as a high school teacher before in the States and while I'd never experienced a terror threat or an active shooter before my instincts and previous training kicked in. Boom, boom, another few shots. I need to work on my booms don't I? My gunshots. I turned the mic up as loud as possible without feedback and announced calmly and clearly get down and stay down keep your heads down do not run do not move a script I learned four years prior that I would have to chant to an American school kids to American school kids in the event of an active shooter give us it again the instructions get down and stay down keep your heads down do not run do not move She's better.
30:07Yeah. No, it was good the first time. I just started whispering now. Yeah. I was now regurgitating to terrified middle-class Brits, shaking like shitting dogs. I repeated the message a few times. My heart was pounding the whole time. I was in absolute shock, sweating and shaking and frozen, but somehow outwardly remaining calm and chanting instructions. She goes above and beyond. Let's get that on there. Yeah. I'm just running. had come from behind me and my back was to a large open window. I was positive that the gunshots weren't far away. Everyone in the hall was crouched down, silently comforting each other and muffling conversations.
30:49I was actually surprised that people had listened to me. I wonder if people go to the table and you can just see one arm come up and get the pints. I was up at the table. You have a window and a window. Or a bread roll. Yeah. I'm going down with a pint in my hand and a sandwich it's probably one of them trays without canopies just
31:12can't find it
31:16another gunshot ran out then accompanied by a new sound a sound I'd recognised from watching Clarkson's farm a sheep bleating crying out oh no what the fuck's going on Do you like the hump? I think that's my favourite noise you've ever made. I think your detail is even better than hers. It sounded like Scooby-Doo. Oh! Scrappy! I knew as soon as I said it. The spinnacle. Oh!
31:51Let me at him. Let me at him. Realising that I hadn't moved from my position, frozen with fear I slid down to the floor and curled up while still repeating my instructions in that moment I just wanted my dad, I genuinely thought that I could get shot at any time I witnessed someone get shot and all I could think about is wanting my dad to run in and save me I was 25 at the time absolutely terrified I know we're laughing but this seems pretty full on there a few minutes later one of the venue staff members came into the hall and loudly announced that everything was okay. There was no threat and people could get up and continue the day.
32:39Continue the day? There's just been fucking gunshots within 100 yards of us you daft bint. And now that's alright? I like this. Sing that. Over the next hour a few members of the wedding party received medical attention for panic and shock. Some guests Some guests even left, and some just went straight back to the bar the minute the green light was on. Oh, bar. Yeah. Soft sods going home. I was asked to continue to play music to calm guests down, a bit like them geezers who played a string quartet while the Titanic was sinking. I politely refused, and the venue staff made their best efforts to get started with the wedding breakfast.
33:23I packed up my gear and loaded my car ready to get the fuck out of Dodge. I wasn't playing at the night do, so no need to stick around. I went to find the organiser to tell her that I was leaving, but naturally she had bigger problems at the time, so I caught another staff member and she gave me the lowdown of what had actually happened. The party who were doing the shoot were a group of Eastern Europeans or Middle Eastern men, that's a direct quote, I never saw them, who had, and this is all in bold, abandoned their assigned gamekeeper, driven back from the woodland and shot about 40 sheep at point-blank range with shotguns in the field surrounding the venue.
Read the full transcript
34:0340 sheep? It's been a lambslide. That would explain the sheep noise I heard. I can't imagine the sound like nice. Shot sheep. They don't give a fuck with them Russians. I will shoot what I want. I caught a glimpse of the bloodbath on my drive out of the grounds. All I could see was a sea of dead white sheep bodies with their heads blown off and pools of blood litter in the field. Because it was spring, there were lambs too. An absolute horror show, she says. Whether the shoe party had misunderstood what an English shoe was or just didn't give a fuck, I have no idea. What? What do you mean I cannot shoot sheep?
34:53Maybe they didn't realise that there was a wedding going on in the building next to where they were murdering. They weren't giving a fuck. Yews. Maybe they thought that was the animal they were supposed to shoot. Maybe they thought it was a shotgun wedding. Was it just free reign? Did they just love mutton? Who knows? Who knows? I didn't invoice the couple for my services. Didn't? Didn't. as I just wanted to forget the whole day. Yeah, that's where you need to still invoice. You've done your bit, haven't you? Yeah. I was, however, asked to give a statement to the police about what had happened and later learned that the shoe party were reprimanded and charged.
35:33It's like... Oh, yeah, they've blown a lot of sheep away. Like, obviously, the gun licences are for certain areas, I think. Yeah. And, like, serious. And animals. You can't just be blowing sheep away, whether you've got a licence or not. No. Is that jail, Lenore? Just put him in a pen. I'm happy to say that the event didn't put me off performing, and if anything, made me realise that I can be a real leader in a crisis. I was later thanked by the event organisers via a kind email. Sorry it was a long one, lads, but this and the skid mark are definitely my worst stories. As always, carry on the great work.
36:11Incredible story. So what do you think's happened, though? They just thought, fuck it. I think Vlad and the lads, we've seen them, haven't we? You know, when we were in London, we were in that kind of Eastern Block cafe, and early morning, vodka, brandy, a fag, fag on. They've had a couple in the morning before the shoot, and then they've just gone rogue. Fuck it. Shit shooting them pheasants, innit? They're always slow, aren't they? We need bigger prey. Because they've ruined the full day, haven't they? It's got to be on the venue's head as well, just out of the fact that they've got a shoot happening.
36:48Has she over-exaggerated a bit? Do you think she's caused... I think she's caused more hassle than what really to be caused, I think. I'm really sorry about the noise, but then there's some dickheads shooting outside. Get down, do not walk, do not eat, do not... Just stay exactly where you are. Down, down, down. Brenda, get your fucking head down. Fuck off the miniature Yorkshire. Puddings have just come out. Just pass me on a tempura prawn, will you? I'm going to go again with the warning. I think I'm leaning towards what you just said, Johnny. I think she's caused panic. Yeah. Get down and stay down.
37:24Keep your heads down. Do not run. Do not move. I think she's caused too much bollocks there. Just like, I'm really sorry about the noise in the background. I'll get someone at the venue to... What does she think? Jackal.
37:46he's a one-shot man jackal he's not spraying so yeah we're only joking aren't we yeah dad dad she's caused too much he should be a flipping thingy writer yeah you know she's added the the drama so are you with me a little bit yeah she's caused too much bollocks you think if they should have just carried on singing I'm really sorry about the back I'll get somebody from the venue to go and see what's going on get down retreat retreat get down do not move but I bet they were loud oh are they loud loud shots 25 of but when you've heard 25 shots and you've not heard glass you know it's not going for you don't you yeah it's so out of the expected 25 shots yeah if we had 25 you think and I'm telling you now right I'm a bit deaf me and I'll be able to tell the difference if there's a shot out there or a shot in the all the year even if it's just I think she's a drama queen if a diva so what you're saying is she's ruined the wedding just fuck job up there.
39:08There's people having ambulance assistance. They could have just signed Corner Sound. But there's people getting treated for shock. And panic. She's played part in that shock. When somebody declares up microphone, get down! Mass shooter! Get down, get down! Are you with them as well? She's caused a bit of trepidation, haven't she? That wasn't necessary. She's had the full room taken care of. I imagine there's glasses getting knocked over They've rolled up for cover Red wine on a table that's been knocked over There's three of them looking for a bunker
39:47I'm assuming this isn't the response you were hoping for Or expecting Can you imagine when they've turned tables All glasses, you know, for a barrier For I'd be like All champagne on the floor Because there's that much panic Anything goes now, isn't it? Oh, yeah, your grandma's fucking Fuck grandma off Sure, she's declared World War III. You can use other people's guards, bodyguards and everything. Human shields. Yeah. You can throw knives about. Yeah, people are running to the door. You're tripping loved ones up, aren't you? Oh, yeah. I'd be like, I'm right in a fire. Stand and take somebody out, I'll wink.
40:26Cake's gone. Yeah. Somebody's gone for a knife, you know, for arm himself. just smashing smash your champagne flute yeah yeah yeah why you're a little bit startled but to ruin the wedding it's a bit much love but we're only joking thank you very much for emailing again i know it might be that there are two best stories but i think that might be the last time she emails in. I think she's not going to listen to us anymore. We've lost a kosher. We've lost a kosher. In battle. Yeah. Do you not need a single foot wedding? Not one who's fucking overdramatic like that. We don't need somebody who makes a mountain out of them all, he'll know.
41:13Some tuning might be off on speaker. Fuck me. What'll be up? Cancel! Cancel! My bass has run on my speaker.
41:25No, like you said, we're joking. That was a good story, that. And to tell you what I feel sorry for, farmer. Well, sheep as well, but I expect it were quite quick for them. But the farmers, it's fodder sheep now. Yeah. Lambs. Yeah, the lads have gone rogue, haven't they? I think then. They don't give a fuck. Yeah, they've had a few drinks in the morning. Yeah, they're not bothered. I don't even know if she's meant to be kept anonymous, but I think I bet that. She might not get another job. I wonder what... Well, can you just email us in again, please, and see what reaction were from your friends when you told them?
42:03Mm. Yeah, but she should be some kind of flippin' thingy writer. Just like that, wanting my dad there. Jessica Fletcher? Mm. Yeah. Mountain Smallville. That last thing on it.
42:23Hi lads, long time listener, Patreon blah blah blah. Been pondering whether to send this for a while because parts of it are a bit embarrassing, so please keep anonymous. When I was in my teens, already getting bored of watching Frankie Vaughan, I stumbled across a chat room site. Not one-on-one chat like Omegle, is it? No? No. with fellas ripping the head off it, but a chat room with cam girls who basically got their kit off for tokens. Do you know them? No, but what's the first room? Amigle. Amigle, what's that then? I thought they were only cam girls. I think Amigle's like, is it a bit like chat roulette?
43:10Remember chat roulette? Where you can talk to somebody and then whenever you want to move on, you move on. Well, then you just talk to somebody new? You just, yeah. What about old? Or sex? Yeah, it's just anything. That was what chap roulette was. I don't know what a meagle's like, but it's generally just full of blokes having a wank. What, chap roulette or a me? Well, both of them were, really. You used to go on. You know, there were a few of you at house. You've done it. You've done chap roulette. I've done chap roulette years ago. You know, like when you're at somebody's house. Go on, stick chap roulette off and you get some right weirdos.
43:45Were you all wanking at the same time? No. You just said it where people were wanking on you. No, but that's what I mean. It was for people just to chat to each other, like random people, and you'd have a laugh and whatever, but then a lot of people on there were just bloke-wanking. I did go through affairs of cam thingy, you know, like random websites and girls with a webcam, and I convinced myself that I'd unearthed a hidden gem, that nobody else had found this particular site. Right. So it just came up there in my head. what were they doing? She used to phone in they were free loads of private freebies like was that one where you pay on tokens I think if you want an extra Bing what so you were talking to just random birds?
44:36no it was like a chat thing you got a type? you got a type? yeah years and years ago but obviously if a thingy drops where somebody paid a few quid they'll have a request or they'll have a phone call or something so there's multiple people watching yeah everybody so there's 20 people around England watching this bird and one of them says I'll drop you 20 quid to finger your arse and you'll get to watch that for free and you should probably turn it off and just get and he just gets the private show I think so yeah it seems to be quite professional I think I think so Omegle with fellas ripping their head off it, but a chat room with cam girls who basically got their kit off for tokens.
45:21You could watch up to four girls at the same time. I never paid any tokens, put my camera on or said anything in the chat. I just sat anonymously behind the screen until it scratched my itch. So he's doing similar. He's just hovering, watching what's going on. I go on the site a couple nights a week and after a while began to build up a roster of favourites. One of my favourites was a Colombian milf, let's call her Linda. I think we could probably call her a proper name though I don't think there's many Colombians listening. Pretty face, dimples, olive skin, a big set of lovely tits and a tidy snatch.
46:03After a while Linda wasn't online as much and eventually seemed to drop off the face of the calm girl earth. Shortly after, I started to get bored of the sight and eventually stopped going on as well. Happened to me, that. Yeah. Fast forward about six... Long three years, wasn't it? Fast forward about six years later and I went to the Costa del Sol with a few pals. We were in a bar and I noticed one of the waitress there looked awfully familiar. It was Linda. What are the chances of this, by the way? I'd never told anybody about the campsite I used to go on, as I thought it was a bit embarrassing, and I didn't know whether to go over and speak to Linda.
46:49We've only just found out about it, haven't we? I mean, years on. Not really knowing how she'd react to me, basically telling her I'd taken one off the wrist to her many times and never paid a penny for it. After a few more beers, I thought, fuck it, and headed over to the bar where she was serving. I said that I didn't know how to say it but I'd recognised her from the site. She was slightly embarrassed but we had a laugh about it and she said it was something she did years ago back in Colombia as it was much better pay than the average wage. Afterwards I eventually had to tell my mates how I knew her and to be fair to Linda she came over and served our group all night having a laugh with us and just being generally sound.
47:35As it approached closing time, at this point being very well oiled, I came out of the toilet and Linda was at the bar. She called me over and said she was finishing in half an hour. How would I like to see it all in real life? This is like bingo for him. To say I jumped at the chance is an understatement. She took me back to her apartment a short walk away and gave me the ride of my life. I couldn't fucking believe what had happened. In the morning, she kissed me goodbye and said it would only be a one-night thing, but we were welcome at the bar any time. To this day, it's got to be the best night of my life.
48:22And it all came from being a teenage pervert wanking over Colombian milfs on the internet.
48:33I think it's touching touching story touching story fair play to her as well she's far tell you what she don't know he's not given all money over here's a shit you think you know he's probably paid me rent hmm I'll fuck him yeah I'll give him one and she see he's seen her and he's for a few minutes like who's that is and then he's really excited because he's realized it's like we see Toby Jones at Paddington station he's made I got a clue he must have been into a deep direct like even to recognize a six years later yeah you recognize any of the audience you used to watch I want to go yours by the way 20 20 years ago?
49:20I don't think I had a computer back then. Did you not? Probably not, no. Did you never do any? Would you have been there? Aye. You'd have been all over it. What about Babe's Station and them, you know, with phone? No, no. I've obviously watched it. I was never an investor. No. One of the ones, obviously, when we were in my local, we phoned up. What are the chances of that? I know. Like, the odds are astronomical. Fair play to her. She sounds like a lovely, lovely woman. Lovely Linda. I don't think that's a real name.
50:00By the way, another one I was raging with you for yesterday. She's raging with you, though, isn't she? Oh, yeah, she's. I told her about the hat trick, and she's like, we've got family in Scotland that listen. Sorry, I love it. I'll take it off with you. I did bring you down with us. So yesterday I went to the fridge to butter some tiger bread to have with the spaghetti bolognese. Yeah. John. You could eat some tiger bread, couldn't you? You mean erection here. Yeah. You are hungry, aren't you? So I've opened the lure pack.
50:35None left. So that's sound. Obviously we've run out. So I went to get the replacement lure pack. No pack. No pack? from Aldi. So Aldi's version of Lurpak. I went, what the fuck is this? Some things should not be messed with. Yeah. I said, what's this? She went, what do you mean? She said, well, Norfolk, it's not Lurpak, is it? She went, oh, well, I went to Aldi. I said, I'm not bothered, love. Do they still sell Lurpak at Aldi? Not sure. I think they do, don't they? But is Norfolk nowhere near you? Well, no. It's not margarine, is it? No, it's like the fake Lurpak. Yeah, but it's still Yeah, still butter, but it's a fake Lurback.
51:18Yeah. But some replacements are all right. It's all right, yeah. But not Lurback. But listen to her. I don't fucking drive all the way around Gundry, right? Busting my balls grafting. For you to fucking scrimp up Lurback. This is another side effect, isn't it? Told you. Yeah. Hey, I'm fucking, I'm travelling all over England, right? Grafting my tits off. And you're fucking, you're turning that out. our pack yeah so up and down being the show yeah coming back so she got a fucking for that at all it's only small things but i am with you a bit though i should not be messed with might be another four might be another four four quid maybe but if you've got it for a month it's a pound a week in it it's 13 14 pence a day yeah so come on something's katie come on some things are worth investing in yeah and not not like a lurpak is one of them yeah i'm with you and a good bed good bed yeah yeah so not only actually fuck my spaghetti bolognese up then the tiger bed i would have him with it had got no pack on not lurpak and could you tell like if she did the the butter and served it up would you notice the difference probably not but that's not the point Chris I'm with that was out the bag we not grafting and one of the things that when he looks is in life is low back mm-hmm she's fucking not pack me off what's your biggest luxury that your class I don't think I've got any Candy Crush?
53:01Yeah, I'm still spunking my balls in on candy. No, I wouldn't say I've got any luxuries. Have you? No. Vintage clothing? Is that a luxury? It is if you're a tramp. What would you say your luxury is?
53:22Clothes. Clothes, yeah. I buy them new for a start. You fucking snob. You fucking changed you. As soon as you start going cross-fitting, you've changed. But, like, you probably spend a lot on clothes. Yeah. But only cost you the volume. Yeah. You don't, like... It's all cheap shit. Yeah, I wouldn't pay something ridiculous. Like, you won't buy a belt at 500. What's the most you've spent on one item of clothing?
53:56probably £500 for a suit is that an item are you giving us that well I'll give you a suit yeah but apart from that not a suit I spoke about when I paid £800 for a mask face mask can you remember can you remember that I used to wear it in the quizzes I'll get a picture that like old man one the old man £800 800 quid. You paid 800 quid for it? Mm-hmm. It had to be shipped over from America, but I've watched YouTube videos, and what they wear in films, it was that realistic. Right. And they, like, stick to your face. Like Mrs. Doubtfire. I used to wear, I remember going into the gym. I bought an old man's outfit, baggy trousers, shoes, turn-ups.
54:43What were you doing like that weightlifting fellow? Scruffy coat. Similar to that, but I'd just walked in, mask on and a thingy and just sat in reception like fucking Freddy Krueger and the owner shit his pants he walked past us three times like giving us the side eye and I'm just sat there staring and he's like I could see him out in my peripheral he walked round the corner and he was giving it one of them like so I thought right and I've gone for a little warm up pretending I'm here for a class and just started jogging up and down the gym. And people were coming in for the start of the class and just going.
55:24And when people are nudging each other, I'm like, what's that? When did you get a pull-up bar? I just carried on jogging. I had an old man walk. And then I just sat back down. And everyone was just stood looking at us. How long did you leave it? I reckon five, ten minutes. Just sat, legs crossed. And then I went for the big... Big reveal. And I ripped it during lockdown on the quizzes, pissed. I've got to take it off. You know what? Fultured. It's just a big rip down middle. See, I think you've got to go to the point where you stay there until somebody comes and approaches you. Yeah, and see if they're really buying into it.
56:11I wore it at the pub. Me and Nana and Granddad were alive. They came down for the weekend with me mum, and I said I'd meet them in the boathouse. you know the yeah you still live and I got in there first and I've just sat there reading the paper I mean Anna's come in and again and again she was literally over there and I'm just sat staring at them and we got like I'm ready for a fight have you see that video that was the idea with the old man mask or man oh yeah tumble down there's hundreds of people there and I remember people running over are you alright sir you alright do you know what I paid again yeah extortion about I had some laughs with it I think we've all been here bathroom Olympics anonymous please lads morning gents fairly new kosher here got dragged in by a mate and now Friday morning work drives are done with a laugh and a blah blah blah.
57:20Right, story time. And possibly one of the cautious courtroom. Bathroom Olympics. You know what it's like on holiday. Bit of sun, a few beers, smell of sun cream in the air. Suddenly, you're not operating with a nine iron anymore. You've got a full big dog driver. You've got the horny holiday. We've spoke about this, haven't we? The sun cream. Tuck it into the swim shorts. Yeah. Problem is kids nothing kills the mood quicker than dad can we go to the pool dad I'm hungry dad why are you in the bathroom again so about seven years ago a family holiday in Turkey we accidentally discovered a workaround get back to the room about 5 p.m.
58:07lads absolutely cooked from the sun quick shower after sun slapped on like we were in the pits at the f1 and he's called out with minutes. Mrs jumps in the shower then calls me in. More after sun. Can you do my back? Now lads, we all know that it is never just about the back. Bit of after sun, bit more after sun, quick glance in the mirror and suddenly the driver's out the bag and asking for a tea. Quick VAR check, kid's still asleep. Door shut, lock on, game faces. Honestly, unreal. Something about having to keep it quiet makes it ten times better. Like you're in the Champions League, but VAR's watching.
58:56It's happening in the shower, over the sink, one foot on the toilet, sat on the toilet, more rounds than the decathlon. Quick, cold shower after, walk out like nothing's happened. Straight into mini-disco like Model Parents. Mini-disco. And just like that, Bathroom Olympics was born. Been a holiday tradition ever since. Rain or shine, all-inclusive or not. Fucking love it. Fast forward a few months back. My mate's 60th birthday. Options. £50 taxi each way or£60 travel lodge? No kids. Travel lodge. All day. You're always going with travel lodge there, aren't you? Even if it's£100 travel lodge. Yeah.
59:43It's just easier, isn't it? Luxury. Lads, don't overthink it. We're already mentally packing the gold medals before we've even left the house. Rock up to the travel lodge. Receptionist says, apologies, we've had a mix-up. Only room left is an accessible one. Is that okay? Obviously, one of them in the bigger bathrooms. Disabled. Disabled. Disabled. Yeah. Me and the wife try not to look too eager. Yeah, that's fine. Walk into the room, big bed, standard stuff Few comments flying about Then she opens the bathroom door Stops, turns slowly Eyes lit up like she's just found buried treasure This is not being wasted Lads, walk in shower, fold down seat Loads of room, big rainfall shower head No banging elbows, no dodgy angles No careful the sink and best of all, no need to keep quiet.
1:00:43Fucking jackpot. I mean, they've obviously got a bit of a bathroom kink now, haven't they? Because, I mean, they've got a bed and no kids. Yeah, a big bed. A big bed. But yet they're both collectively more excited about the big bathroom. They've had some nice times in the bathrooms abroad, haven't they? They have. I just like how thorough he is in expressing his joy. Yeah. You know, like the detail of bathroom. Fun. At this point, we're not in the Bathroom Olympics trials. We've gone full Olympic final. Primetime. World watching. National anthem ready. What a day. Night and morning after. Unbelievable.
1:01:25So here's the dilemma. What's the move going forward? Do we start requesting accessible rooms like it's a preference? Develop a suspicious limp at checking or borrow a wheelchair or just walk in and say any chance of the looks performance sweet because lads once you've gone gold medal it's hard to go back to qualifiers keep up the great work up the fucking gold medal cosh they have got a kink with it haven't they it's what got a kink with it yeah and they're going to have to stick with it now like you said and we've all been there on holiday haven't we you know we're just getting at any sexy time in it mhm When opportunity knocks, it's difficult as well.
1:02:09I know I've spoke about this numerous times. I think it's when they get older that it gets harder. 14, 15, because they're not sleeping then. That is the golden hour, isn't it? When you've been out in the sun all day, get back, and everybody's getting ready, and that's when you've got the horny. I still think I'm going up bed. In the travel lodge? Yeah. You've got the big bathroom. I think it's only a needs most kind of situation for me and if you put in the shower out if you put the shower on it then becomes a health hazard slippy yeah and knocking your top set up I tell you what you've got to be careful of the cord the emergency cord you don't want to pull in that what about the emergency seat would you give the seat to go yeah but i think i don't know more hygienic than the toilet oh he's on about hygiene again here fucking hell fire mag kim and maggie's on about hygiene rich uh i wonder what the weight could be snappage yeah especially
1:03:25do you know no the reinforced if i'm sat on the chair so there's 18 stone on it now Right, and then I've got Katie jumping up and down and me chucking her up and down like a... working a circus. I don't think there's snaps. Do you think? Yeah, then how do you explain the snaps? So what do you think they need to do? When booking again? What about... Are you in a wheelchair? No, just ask for an accessible room. Yeah, just say... Yeah, but you're going to make it. oh yeah let's put a stone in one of your shoes yeah that's part of the fun mm-hmm did a wheelchair feeling her in you know if you're going to a wedding then you've got to put a back she's got to sit back in it get in a car got a book a special time you've got to get a special taxi they're gonna have a bash on your wedding day or like day day
1:04:28for that day slip off why I wonder when the parks are you consummate the mario be a window of opportunity ah to work like it might a woman get to bed once you're tired I will be moody yeah probably that's it diva ish yeah then it's better put some gear on you'll be slipping off don't worry about that I'll give you a standing ovation highlighted to everybody I'm thinking the moment opportunity but just when you start in your speech come on love I've not even thought about to not get married till three hours or sixes what wedding toilet paper what's got your initials off I think it has yeah so the toilet paper like you said is that for I don't know the day I don't know if it's everybody who goes for a shit so I'm gonna smile when I'm helping myself with I don't if it's for our house in the week leading up or what just as a build rules if it's gonna be for our outfit we leading up we're gonna be talking 12 14s and how's your paddle yeah good although I bought a new racket.
1:06:09Yeah. Can I find it? Weighted screws at the top weren't captured. So I've emailed them back. This is why I don't like fucking internet shopping. Wank. I like to just go to a shop, speak to somebody, buy it and leave with it. Why don't you go to the shop and buy one then? I don't know where the paddle shop. What, do they not sell them at the paddle place? Nope. Well, they're missing. There's definitely a gap in the market. They're missing. If I've got a paddle place, I'm selling paddle rackets. all right fucking Bannan time are you now huh Bannan time so I've emailed them back saying on me brackets faulty oh can you make can you can you send us a video of the problem right so I've now got to screw this thing in and obviously it'll sure that it's not catching with somebody videoing me to send the video in to see what next thing is next action we achieve by twice yeah you told them how many followers you've got that us
1:07:26so yeah so that's uh i know i mean i like this one at shop buying it leaving the problem with I'll go back to the shop, tell the guy or the lady, and he'd make my rackets fuck. And I'd say, right, sound, I can see that, and give me another racket and I can go on my way. Now I'm going to have to fuck about sending a video, sending emails, I'm going to have to fuck about packaging it up, taking it to a post office. Why did you go to the shop and buy one? I did not. Well, when I got my... I only bought it because I lost the game and I lost my head, so I bought it in the pub after. Oh, did you? Yeah.
1:07:57Well, you've no one to blame but yourself then. If you've rage bought, that's your own fault. changing the subject. I was on the way here this morning. I pulled up with some lights on the way back from Louisa's. And there's a fucking SUV pulls up.
