3:21head now everyone's having their opinions on it and i'm being made out to be some sort of villain yeah okay we're going to get to it can i say i was shocked yeah i was shocked yeah and there's two sides to every story isn't there there is there is all right can we start with this is why did you decide to join the show you know me and Biggs we always kept in contact after our relationship came to an end so I ended things with him not sure what he says about it but I ended things with him because I didn't want to continue the relationship just kind of felt like It just wasn't what I wanted anymore.

4:10Okay. As time went on, you know, I'd been single for a very long time. We kept in contact. And I always had this doubt in the back of my head, you know, why did I let something good go? And then the show came up as an opportunity to see. It just, it fits so perfectly. I see. So you felt like there was just unfinished business with Biggs. and what was the unfinished business that you had with him? I mean, there was allegations in the press that he had been cheating and when I was with him, I just, I never got into it too much. Like, I thought it was just like, you know, being in the public eye, people were just like putting things out there and all my friends and family were like, nah, that's not true, we would never do that.

4:59I asked him about it, he's like, no, Rebecca, of course I didn't do that. So I kind of just let it slide. So I went back and I see you and Biggs. You have like hundreds of TikToks together. Hundreds where you're dancing together. And it looked like you two were best friends. Yeah. Yeah. I think that's what it was like. Like best friends. Rebecca, you may not know this. I'm an emotional guy. At my wedding, I cried the entire wedding. That was before I started drinking. Right. So I definitely get emotional. There were two moments in this show when I watched it back that I started to get emotional.

5:36And one moment was right at the beginning where you were doing your interview. When I watched it back, I started crying. And I think one thing as well, when I said to him, would you ever have told us, if we were to get back together, would you have told me you cheated? And he said no. And I was like, no. so not only can you not be honest with yourself you thought you couldn't you wouldn't have been honest with me but then you tell us straight up in front of all these people i was like wow yeah yeah really took his back so there are many people who believe that once a cheater always a cheater yeah i think and and that becomes a big reason why they would never entertain someone who's cheated on them.

6:23Yeah. What's your take on that? I don't know. I just feel like I couldn't look someone in the eye and be the way I used to be with them, knowing that they're really hurt. So eventually, in the villa, you came and you told Biggs. There was a moment where I felt like, in essence, you were breaking up with him again. That's how it felt. But you tell me, because there was a moment where he was in the bed, you walked over to him, and you said something along the lines of, you know, this will never be romantic again. Yeah. Remember that moment? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What was the drive for you to tell him?

6:58I felt like I needed to be honest with Biggs because I felt like he was putting in some serious work. So I felt respectfully I needed to go say to him, Biggs, I don't see this going in a romantic way again. And I think for me to say that and do that, that made me feel better because then I knew where I was at instead of just going around in me head and around and around thinking, could it be? No. I think I made it very clear. Have you watched the show? Do you know what? I actually thought it was a good show. I actually enjoyed it. At what point did you see Craig as someone other than just a housemate, but that he could be more than a housemate?

7:44You know, we just got on really well and like there was chemistry between us for sure okay maybe when dad mentioned it and i thought maybe it's okay maybe this is yeah is it all right so when when that happens you think okay this could be a thing is there any moment where you're thinking wait hold on for a second this guy craig is here because he was living a double life i know i know it sounds it sounds crazy The way him and Jazz went on in the reckoning, I was like, wow. Like, I didn't like the way they were speaking to each other. I thought it was very, there was a lot of anger between them.

8:24And I thought, that's not for me. I mean, even after the show ended, I remember Craig coming up to us and being like, let us take you for dinner. I'm sorry that went that way. You're talking about, like, after the final reunion? The final reunion, cameras went off. Everyone left and came up to us apologising. And like, I want to take you for dinner and make this up. I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's wild. It's so wild. So, so wild. But, I mean, I think he just lives in his own little world. I think it's just Craig's world. It's wild. You know, that does surprise me because of how that final reckoning went.

9:12Yeah. which was the most probably explosive one hour of my life. That was... It was like a volcano erupting. It just went boom. I mean, me and Jazz were both played, really. So now, looking back, do you feel as if you cheated in the retreat? No, I don't feel like I cheated But then even for me Really I should have took a step back He was just like a little sneaky fox So do you feel like Craig cheated while he was in the retreat? I feel like Craig was just playing a game Okay, so he wasn't cheating then? Well I mean he wasn't in a relationship with me And he wasn't in a relationship with her I don't think he was trying to make it up with Jazz but if I hadn't have been there, it would only have been someone else.

10:13Like, he would have only been flirting with someone else. Okay, so this is interesting. So you're not calling it cheating, but you're saying that he, did he betray Jazz? Yeah, 100%. Okay. He wasn't being honest with that. He was a compulsive lion. He broke, would you say, either an implied or specific boundary that they have created? yeah in my opinion that's cheating okay so that's infidelity yeah that's infidelity I always look at it as if you as you and your partner if you have an implied boundary or if you have a specified boundary and that is crossed you have cheated on your partner So, Paul, do you think that I was in the wrong?

11:03Do you think what the situation with me and Craig, I should have handled it different? Yes. You do? I do. Okay. I think there's one part that the viewers need to understand that I don't think they're giving you enough credit for. And that is that Craig was telling you specifically that he was not in a relationship or breaking things off with jazz, etc. etc. So you hearing that, you're thinking, okay, this is all good. But I think the problem and where, you know, where you let me down, Rebecca, you let me down a little bit, is that you heard the words, you believed the words, but you didn't see the action.

11:43You didn't follow the action, because what he would do then is walk into the reckoning room and show up differently and present like he was fighting for jazz. So I thought you would have picked up on that and said, hold on, this is not right. How do you feel about seeing the other cast today? I mean, I actually feel nervous. I mean, on social media at the minute, I'm being called a homewrecker, like a homewrecker. And I'm like, I didn't do any homewrecking. Like, if Craig wanted to be with Jazz, he would have been with Jazz and made that very clear and not have been flirtatious behind her back or when he thought the cameras were turned that he could, you know, have his little fling with me.

12:36Like, if a man wants you, he's going to prove to you that he wants you. And, I mean, him saying to Jazz, like, oh, Rebecca's being clingy and stuff today. Like, I absolutely was not being clingy. but you're obviously leaving a door open to be like, come on in. Yes, yes, exactly. When was the last time that you talked to Craig, Jazz and Biggs? Never spoke to Biggs, never spoke to Jazz. And Craig texted us the other week saying happy birthday, but I just ignored it. Wow, he's still trying to get in there. Yeah. I mean, for me, Paul, like, from that retreat leaving, yeah, I think my standards are so high.

13:25And I would never be in a situation where a guy's giving us, you know, this flirtatious banter. And I'm like, my life's so different now. And I'm so happy. Can I say, I love that you're walking out with higher standards. I love that you're walking out with, I can see you even show up different today. Yeah. You know, can I get to some audience questions? Yeah. Are you ready for these? I am ready. All right. And you just speak from the heart on this. So one question is, Rebecca, if Biggs had not cheated, do you think you guys would have rekindled your relationship? I think I'm really struggling to answer that because I was, I say, he's cheating.

14:09Cheat. Cheat. I don't know. Yeah. So right now I'm going to say no. Okay. All right, next question is, why didn't you leave earlier if you knew you wouldn't forgive Biggs? I don't know. Maybe I should have left sooner. Okay. All right, that's an honest answer. But I think even if I did leave sooner, I still don't think Craig's and Jazz's relationship would have worked out Okay, okay Alright, so these start to heat up now Oh my god, you're scaring me Next one Why did you speak to Biggs so disgustingly? Wow Wow I mean, let us just say one thing Obviously, we're being filmed, yeah there was a lot said back and forward.

15:06My blood was boiling. And when someone's trying to shut you down and forgetting what they've done, it just made us so mad. I mean, coming back to the jazz thing again, like, when I watch the show back, I do feel bad. Okay. I think that's the beauty of this is so, you know, this whole platform is about what we need to talk about. We're talking about infidelity, but a big piece around infidelity in terms of how we get through it is healing. Yeah. And part of what I feel is my responsibility is to help in the healing that's happening among you all. Yeah. And so that's why I think this conversation is so important.

15:49Let's bring Biggs in. Okay.

15:54My man. Good to see you, man. Good to see you. Good to see you. You good? I'm good, I'm good. Okay, come on. Have a seat right there. Thanks. All right. Biggs. The first thing that I have to say is I noticed that you two did not acknowledge each other. Okay. Okay. There seems to be a lot of tension, you know, between the two of you. And what I didn't realize is what Rebecca just told me is that she hasn't spoken to you in 10 months since the last time we saw each other at the reunion. That's right. One thing I also mentioned to Rebecca that I didn't realize too is I've been looking at a lot of your TikToks.

16:43Just talk from your perspective about your relationship with Rebecca when it was good. So my relationship with Rebecca was different. It's something I never had. My family loved her. and I know her, her family loved me. Yeah. So if you think about what quote-unquote went wrong, from your perspective, what was it in your relationship? The main thing for me was we wanted different things. So I wanted a family and she wanted to party and live that kind of lifestyle. Especially the age gap, the difference. You get me? She was still young at the time. I met her when she was 22. Okay. And what was the age gap between?

17:42So it was six years. Because when we broke up, it hurt me, but it wasn't that deep because already I checked out. You get me? So I used the cheating to make myself feel better. Yeah. You know, on that note is I saw some comments, not a lot, but some comments on social saying, what is he talking about? Like, how do you cheat to avoid, you know, your hurt? And what I think people need to understand is that is technically a category or a reason why many people cheat. You know, I think one of the top researchers in this area is a woman named Shirley Glass, a psychologist who's phenomenal. And she has different categories around why people cheat.

18:24One category is called conflict avoidant. someone who is trying to avoid what they believe conflict could be, that is the category that you're talking about, is that it is a self-protection mode. Now, there's other categories. There's people who cheat because they're just dicks, like they're narcissists. There are other people that cheat for situational reasons. There's some people that cheat for retaliation. These are the main categories, and conflict avoidance is one. So this is what you're saying, is that you were cheating almost as a self-protection, you know. So tell me about the breakup.

19:04How did you two break up? It's an awkward one because it wasn't official. We didn't officially say, this is over. It was more like, I remember packing my car. You get outside Rebecca's place. I put all my stuff in my car. and like we were meant to see the following week but then I remember she posted an Instagram story saying we split up so yeah but we had a conversation about it on the post he not that day remember the day I left Newcastle yeah I remember you were going to come back from Scotland and you were going to say don't bother coming back mmhmm

19:52Okay. So when the show comes up, why do you get involved in the show? To see if there was anything there. I needed to get the answers I needed. I just wanted to know if this was real. I feel like she expected me to wait for her. You get me? So you had a lot of hope going to the retreat? Sort of, yeah. Okay, I did. You did, yeah. You were entering thinking, this is someone who I want to be in my life. Does she want me in her life? Is that fair to say? That's fair to say. And also, I'll keep it real, that because there's been speculations that she cheated. that Rebecca cheated so that was the main reason as well that I wanted to come on the show to find out because I genuinely thought that you were going to tell me that you cheated okay this is a fair forum Rebecca you can ask Rebecca if you'd like to I'd like to know honestly no I never I never cheated I wasn't taking you on the show to...

21:13wasn't coming on the show to tell you that I had cheated. I never cheated. This is your time. I never. Because I told my story and I was honest to tell you. No, I never cheated. Leaving your kiss. You kissed. You guys did kiss. You did. I didn't. If it's the person that I'm thinking that you're thinking of, this was before we were actually together and then he said he cheated. towards the end of our relationship so I'm confused all right so so because when you came in there you're saying that you thought you thought Rebecca had cheated so I thought we were going to start afresh tell each other the truth okay so tell tell each other the truth and then start again well if that was possible you get me all right I see I see so is that why right from the beginning that first reckoning you went right in and told her yeah okay because if you remember amanda asked rebecca so why are you here she rebecca said i'm here to get back with biggs and i was like what fair but i thought you were going to tell me that you're cheating then i was going to use the opportunity to tell you and then build on that okay but you also said that if if we had have got back together you would never have told us about the cheating anyways so that relationship would have just been a whole lie the thing is i could have lied and just but i just see this show i used it just to set myself free and just be honest oh you were honest yeah yeah i mean you were really the first bigs to come right out with the truth you know among everyone there and i think you deserve a lot of credit for that because you didn't have to start that way but you did.

23:10Did you feel like, okay, now I have a shot to win Rebecca back? I did. I really thought I had a chance. But watching her back, oh my God. Watching the show back, there was... I'd like to know why you did what you did. Was it to get back at me Or was it to make yourself feel better? I wonder why you did it. I think it was a bit of both.

23:46Or do you actually love him? No, I don't love Greg. No. I think... Yeah, I think it was to get back at you and it was just... He was... He was being flirtatious with me. And it just kind of, that's just how it went.

24:12Rebecca, that's interesting what you just said. You started out by saying it was to get back at you. Maybe it's a little bit, yeah. It shocked me. When Jaz said, oh, I put Rebecca on the test, I don't know, my mind was just gone. I just heard flirting. And not one person told me. I never knew. I knew by the way Rebecca was acting on the show that something wasn't right, like she wasn't there but to watch her back and to see they were flirting the whole time and especially Craig, he should have told me like he should have spoke to me I just felt like I didn't need to be open and tell you that I was flirting with someone else because I made it very clear to you that I didn't see it going in a romantic way with me and you so yeah Okay.

25:02Now, there's a question. I've asked Rebecca this, but I'm curious what your opinion is. Do you believe that in the retreat that Rebecca cheated on you? you know what I would say Rebecca did even though she didn't but I felt like I felt like you were playing me because yes you said I don't think I can get over this but I just thought that was you protecting your heart so I would have to break it down keep working hard grafting to get her but if she said I'm not interested in you like I like Craig that would have been my sign to leave okay all right so you're saying that if that would have been your sign but then let me ask you about this so there's a clip that I want to play that remember when we were doing the group uh exercise yeah all right that in my mind was when I thought Rebecca was done okay all right let's just play it and and give me your thoughts on it so it'll play it'll play right I actually feel a little bit uncomfortable yeah you're looking I feel very uncomfortable.

26:12Yeah. It's not a nice feeling, obviously, but the thing is I can sense it. I mean, typically when we can't look at someone in the eye, it's because we can't trust that person. Yeah. And sometimes you can't look at someone in the eye because they disgust you. Exactly that. You're hitting the nail right on the head. I disgust you. Yeah. because for being in a relationship for nearly two years and then single and acting like friends for three years just goes to show, like, you've got no respect for us because you've just lied to us for three years when it acted like everything was fine, when really nothing was fine.

26:51I just think I deserve to have been told. And then now I'm here like fucking idiots at you, like, trying to look you in the eyes, holding your hands. I just... I'm struggling to do it, Paul. Yeah. All right, so tell me about that, Rebecca, in that moment. Did you feel as if it was done then? Yeah. How would this ever be able to be a relationship when I can't even look him in the eyes or hold his hand? So I think this is a great teaching moment for everyone, you know, watching, listening, is that, you know, our body typically never lies to us. But rarely do we listen to our body because we use our mind to override what our body's doing.

27:38If you cannot hold your partner's hand or anyone's hand, if you cannot look them in the eye, your body is telling you you're out. And it was that moment where I thought, wow, Rebecca is gone. This is it. You know, Biggs. I felt for you in that moment. Watching her back. Let's keep her real. you would dip in because there was another guy there. If Craig wasn't there, do you think this situation would have been different? You tell me. You tell me. What do you think? It would have been different. And also, let's be real, OK? You are known as well to be, like, moving here and there. So you didn't care about me, you get me?

28:20I'm not for moving here and there. What? Like, like... I like drum shit, but, like, kind of... Like, you let guys drop quick. Because even when you and me got together, you dropped somebody to get with me, if we are honest. So... OK. But... OK. So if Craig wasn't there, do you think the situation would have been definite? No. I don't think we would have got back together. Yeah. You know what I'm like. Like, to be told I was cheated on, that I wouldn't have moved past it. Now that I think about it, no chance. Yeah. Like, especially when you turn around and said you didn't know the person and it was just like a one-off thing, like it was just like a quick hit.

29:09Like, I just, it just made us feel a bit worthless that you would just go do that with anyone. With anyone. Can we unpack that a little bit? Because this is, we're also talking about infidelity just in general. And, you know, I posed this question on Instagram and the response was really interesting to me. I asked, once a cheater, always a cheater. You can either say yes, you could say no, or you could say depends on the reason. The majority of people, what do you think they voted? Depends on the reason. Depends on the reason. So is that your thought too? Depends on the reason? What's your response to that?

29:48I feel like once a cheater, always a cheater is a cop out. Because... It's so tough to say. Like, you wouldn't cheat on somebody you really love, but then, I'm not saying I didn't love you, you know I did. The thing is, I maybe fell out of love because the difference... She was young, I know she needed to party and, like, enjoy, experience the world. And you needed to do that. So let's see if we go deep on this. So there was some friction in the relationship. You felt as if you two had maybe different life goals. How does that then drive you to have sex with someone else? I feel like I was preparing myself for a breakup.

Read the full transcript

30:37Okay. So the day we broke up, because people thought I didn't care, but I was, so I cheated. I picked myself. I got the ego that I needed. I'm seeing girls, this, that, whatever. So the day it happened, it wasn't that deep. I was already gone. Okay. All right, let's, if I could jump into your mind a little bit, right, on this. So you feel like you were preparing yourself for the breakup. You tell me the relationship or how it happened. So it was a one-night stand and then obviously some texts after, but. Okay, so a one-night stand. And so you meet her, you meet this woman. And are you thinking in your mind, okay, I'm going to have sex with her tonight.

31:21Or are you thinking, let's just see where this goes. Like, what's in your mind? I was just being an idiot. I was just trying to, I was drunk. Okay. So then after you do this, if the idea was to protect yourself, why not just tell her? I know I should have. I should have I should have told you and that's one mistake I'll never ever make again I was just young and stupid

31:57Rebecca when he you know Biggs did say this at the retreat he did apologise have you fully accepted his apology? No

32:12No, I don't accept the apology. It's what you wanted to do at the time, you've done it now. There's no way of going back from that. If you feel like stuff's going in the wrong direction, then address it and be done with it. I find you two so interesting. The more and more that I saw information about you two, TikTok, et cetera, I thought, wow, they're very similar. even to this day you realize you two are matching you realize this seriously i didn't notice bigs walked in he was like oh my god she's got the same thing isn't that long literally your color patterns are the same this was no plans but but think about that i mean normally like even with my wife Like we end up dressing the same because we're so in tuned.

33:10And for so many people, I say they shouldn't even be friends. But you two, I'm going on the record saying that I hope you two become friends. I hope you do, because I see a friendship here. I can see you both going on with your lives. But I think it would be a shame to have shared so much, to have so much love between your families and not still have care for each other. I still care for Rebecca, for sure. I know you've got anger. I feel like you've got too much anger towards me. Because end of the day, we did a show. You get me? You did a show with me. I told you what I did. To then get back at me.

33:54Even at the day, the reunion. You get me? The reunion was crazy, that's for sure. So you didn't feel bad? because when I watched her back, I was like, damn. I think I checked out of the relationship the way you did when you cheated. Fair. But, OK, I came here, openly told you, and I felt terrible. Whereas you did it back to me and you didn't feel bad.

34:27Yeah. There's no reason why I had to tell you that I went on a date with someone else or even that I was flirting with someone else. The thing is, though, like, you asked me on the show, what did you expect?

34:45Truthfully, like, what did you expect? Because... I thought we were going on to talk about the cheating allegations, not to talk about that you actually did cheat on it. A lot changed when you hurt your arm, your shoulder. A lot changed then. Yeah, I know. I know it did and it didn't change for the good for me it was it was hell. Rebecca can I ask because I wasn't able to in the retreat but I feel like this is a better environment to do it is how dark did things get for you during that time because it sounds like you pushed away everyone in your life. Like really bad Paul like to the point like I didn't know who I was anymore like I actually reached out for help got help because I was waking up seeing black tunnel vision so basically what happened is I fucked that and dislocated my shoulder and ripped all the ligaments so I was in a sling for like five months like couldn't do anything for myself like I just signed a modeling contract and thought that my life was going to be like all into modeling and then I was told I was going to be deformed and I had all of this awful stuff like I couldn't do anything for myself and I just felt so isolated obviously I couldn't go out anywhere because I was in a slit like it was just the worst time in my life like even now when I think back when you know when people used to say like oh I'm depressed like things on go my eyes but you know like tomorrow's a new day you'll be fine until you experience it yourself it's so hard to relate with someone.

36:21Yes. And then here your partner then at your lowest point betrays you. Yeah. I think this helps, this whole context, this helps people to understand the demise of the relationship. And even how you entered the retreat, there was hope on both sides. On that note, we have viewer questions. Okay. For you Biggs, you ready? okay first question are there still feelings for rebecca

36:57see i've got such a big heart weirdly i'm not angry at you i was when i was watching the show I was going to come here blazing. But, like, I just came here and I just forgot everything. So there's some sort of feelings there. Are there still feelings for Biggs? I don't feel like I have feelings, no. Okay. Okay. Next question for Biggs. do you regret giving Rebecca another chance? Ooh, good question. The old me would have said yes because I would have tried to protect my ego, like, to be a man, like, oh, I don't care about her, this, that, whatever, but I don't regret it. I'm going to be honest.

37:56Okay, that's fair. Just one thing to correct, because I always like to correct when I hear something. That would not be being a man. That would be being a toxic man. Fair, fair. Okay. Fair? Yeah. Fair. All right, cool. Okay, so this is the clip where Biggs, you find out for the first time that Rebecca is flirting with Craig. Basically, Rebecca G has been trying to flirt with him.

38:28but he shut her down very quickly like immediately and was very very transparent with me about everything and i just feel like that's growth and i feel like it's really really positive

38:45okay craig i wouldn't say it was flirting i mean those words did come out of your mouth I think me and Rebecca Gio got a good friendship

39:01but I'm here for Jazz and I feel like I made the right steps in sort of just telling Rebecca I think for me personally, respectfully it wasn't my place to come and say to Jazz how me and Craig have been flirting so you've been flirting with him

39:26Well, flirting, it takes two.

39:31I see you lurking around him all the time, so obviously I do clock things myself. Listen, it wasn't my place to see what's it. All right. So you find out. You can see some of the reactions around the table, right, where it's clear some people know. Mm-hmm. so did you have any conversations afterwards with them to let them know how disappointed you were? Yeah, I spoke to Steph and I said to her, she should have told me because I would have just made it easier for them and just left. Okay, okay. When was the last time that you talked to everyone else? A few days ago. Yeah, we speak often on the WhatsApp.

40:13Okay. So Jazz. Yeah, Olivia. Olivia. Andre, Sean, Stephen, yeah. All right. When's the last time you spoke with Craig? I've never spoke to him. Okay. Okay. All right. Makes two of us. So I've never spoke to him like that. Look at that. So was the beef with you guys? Nothing. No? Nothing at all. Absolutely not. Okay. Anything else that you two would like to say to each other before we bring on our next guest? You know what? I forgive you. I'm a changed man. I forgive you. All right. So on that note, we're going to bring someone else on. How do you feel about us adding more guests to this party?

41:05Amazing. I'm ready. All right. Truly, I mean, how do you feel that we are going to add, you know, someone else to this conversation? How do you feel about it? I mean, I think it's going to be good to have a conversation with these people away from the retreat. Times went by. We've all had time to process what's happened on the show, watch the show. And if people are back together or not together or what's going on. What's going on? That's true because you haven't been talking to anybody. No. No, no. Look who it is. Jazz, welcome. It's good to see you. Good to see you. Really good to see you. All right.

41:40I think you know these two. You're looking good. Lovely. All right, come on, have a seat, have a seat. Welcome to We Need to Talk. Thank you, thank you. All right, so, Des, I have to start with, I noticed that you and Rebecca didn't greet each other. No. Okay, so let's unpack the why, all right, around this. Your situation, should I say, and how you got onto the show is very interesting. And I saw someone on TikTok mention this as they said, you know, jazz is an example of why you can't always blame the side chick. Yeah. All right. So if you could talk about how you became the side chick, you can't blame.

42:29So basically when I first got with Craig, we were dating and we spent loads of time together. So I didn't have any suspicions, but it turned out that he was living with his ex, so the mother of his child and his daughter. And he said that they worked together. They were going through a breakup. up he was in the process of buying a new property so that he can move out I was like okay cool so once that goes through then you'll be out so we live really close to each other and we would go on like date nights and restaurants and stuff like that like really close to his house so I'm like okay well if you're with your partner there's there's no way that you can be because you're taking me to local restaurants you're introducing me to the kind of the owner of the restaurant as your girlfriend you know I was meeting all of his friends all of his friends he made a point of like introducing me to all of his different friendship groups as well okay so it was just in my mind like his story was true because there's no way you would go to these lamps and introduce me to so many people and go out so locally if you were in a relationship with someone else yes yes so the only thing that wasn't happening you thought was you were not living together yeah okay yeah so that was kind of the only strange part but again he was able to make an excuse for that um you know the house was taking a long time and he was having issues with the solicitors and you know like more and more time kind of lapsed and I was like okay this is a bit strange um and then after a while I was like okay something's not right here all right and what did you do?

44:17Did you give him an ultimatum? Did you leave? What did you do? So when I found out, it was hard because I didn't really know what to do in that situation. Obviously, by that time, I was, like, completely in love with him. And, you know, you're cheating on me, but actually you've got this whole happy family. You've got this whole happy family. And I, like you said, I went from being a girlfriend and being like the only girl in his life to actually just being a side chick. But yeah, in the end, I just. You just left? I just left. You just left? I was like blocked, deleted and just needed to just cut all ties completely because I just couldn't do it.

44:59So then how is it that you and Craig then come on to the show? I was with another partner beforehand and he was quite horrible. And kind of some drama happened, which involved Craig. And then Craig was there to be the shoulder to cry on. And then he actually expressed to me that he wanted us to kind of get back together. And then, you know, we were seeing each other. And then one day we went on a night out. We had this massive argument. And then the next day I saw an advert and it was like, have you been betrayed? Do you want to get back, work and get back with your partner? And I was like, I said this to him as a joke.

45:41I was like, maybe we should do this. Wow. And he was like, yeah, you know what, let's apply. And here we are. Wow. What were you thinking was going to happen in the relationship? And what do you think he was thinking would happen by coming on the show? I, well, if it's true or not, I don't know. But I thought that he wanted to prove himself kind of to me and that he was being serious. But, yeah, I didn't end that way. It did not end that way. When I was there, when we're filming this at the retreat, I'm watching also some of the bits that are happening. And what was interesting, and Rebecca, you mentioned this earlier, and I think we saw this play out in the show, is that there was a fine line that Craig was walking in the house.

46:36And your hope is what's your hope, your dream of what's going to happen, best outcome for you? I think the best outcome was we got to talk about all of our issues from the past. And I was able to heal from it. He could, like I said, prove himself to me, prove that he's serious, prove that he has changed. And we can get the help from you to move past everything and build a life together. when I saw you all in that first reckoning room he got emotional he did and that was a big moment for me because you remember because you said you've never seen him like that no and like it really like he'd said all these things like he said he wants to get back with me he said he's wanted to marry me have kids and like just do life with me spend the rest of his life with me but I'm thinking even a gift he gave you yeah he gave me a gift what was the gift?

47:31it was a passport holder and it was basically, it was like a matching one to his and it was like kind of to represent like the future we're going to have together, the holidays we're going to have together, like places we're going to go. Wow. Yeah, so everything seems really sincere. It did. I mean, I think that it felt so sincere that you had no issues. There's a clip that I want to play. This is it right here. Can I just sleep with Craig tonight? In the same bed, obviously. Yeah. Okay. You're going to stick to the bear with that, ain't it? I don't think I can. I'm not.

48:11No chance.

48:17Am I going to get jealous? I hope so. I hope so. I'm going to get jealous. I hope so. You're a little shit. I don't know if I'm ready for this. Obviously, you're buzzing because you get to see the person that you're here for, but I think Rebecca D is an amazing person. Just got so much time for us. It's a hard one. This is dangerous. It's over. Isn't it? It's fun, though. I know. I like getting away. What's so wild to me about that is you both are just a stone's throw away from that conversation. Yeah, completely oblivious. Completely oblivious. So when you saw this for the first time, jazz and bigs what was what did you think um I feel like I'm feeling the same thing now I just feel like a fool man yeah I remember saying to you like why isn't he sharing a bed with you yeah well because I said I'm not having I'm not doing anything on TV I'm not having sex on TV like I work in a corporate job I'm not doing I'm not that type of person to be doing that like it's not me so he used that and was like oh if we sleep in the bed you know I'm going to be so tempted I'm gonna be you know trying on with you all night so I think it's best we slept separate but that wasn't the real reason I wasn't the real reason but I didn't have any reason to question it I just thought okay cool he's just trying to behave himself he's you know you know little horn dog playing a game was he is it's it's you know what so to me was so incredible about this is that I I think that, and I don't know, this is a question for Craig, but I wonder if he believed, and you can tell me what you think, but if he believed that the cameras weren't picking it up because it was so nuanced.

50:11Is that what you're thinking? I think it's I believed him. Of all the boys, I believed Craig the most. I thought, because he reminded me of myself, of like, I just thought this guy is really here to change. Yeah. He was playing everyone. Playing everyone. Like, all the girls were using him as an example in our house. Even me? They're like, I just want a Craig. I just want my partner to look at me the way Craig looks at you. Like, that's what I would say. Like, I want a Craig. Because I knew everything. I knew all of the kind of the cheating and everything like that. We didn't have any bombshells at the beginning.

50:46We was just there focusing on our relationship. and I felt a bit smug at the beginning. I was just like, we're way ahead of what the other couple is. But yeah, it's, yeah, it's been a bit belly up. Watching that clip makes me feel sick. So that one, I could see how that, there's a reaction, right, that you get. And then we were at the reckoning, we were in the reckoning room and I felt like you were very proud of Craig and you thought, okay, this was a test basically that he passed. And then you come to find out that the flirting was happening two ways. And there was a moment in there where you say, hold on, Craig, this is your moment to defend yourself.

51:30When you said that, take me back to that moment. Did you then, was that the first moment where you thought, hold on for a second, he may be living a double life in the retreat? I don't know like at that point he had made out as if it was just Rebecca and it wasn't reciprocated so finding that out I was like confused because I'm like we are only here for two weeks how are you not able to behave yourself and like it just it made me feel quite overwhelmed because I'm like you were in the reckoning room crying like two days ago telling me how much you want to marry me and have my kids and then now I'm hearing that you're flirting with someone else like can you not behave yourself for for two weeks then I also felt confused as well because I didn't know the extent of the flirting and like he said that you know it was banter and I spoke to other people and they're like oh it's just flirty banter and I'm like well maybe he is flirting but then she's taking it the wrong way and it was kind of innocent on his part so it was just it was really confusing.

52:40Okay, so this is interesting. So because it was confusing to you, that's why you thought, okay, let me stay. Yeah. Yeah. Because I was like, I just had so many questions and I just wanted to get to the bottom of it. I still had hope. I had hoped that, you know, it was just one-sided and she'd taken it the wrong way. So I was like, yeah, we need to have a conversation about this. Okay. So you thought, okay, that it was one-sided, maybe Rebecca took it the wrong way. But it was this moment that took me. Tell me what you think. Okay. Jazz, what's the point of me coming here, then? What's the point of me coming here?

53:19Because I stayed here for you. You're going to fucking embarrass me in front of everyone. I know you flirted with her. Jazz, don't be silly. Don't be silly. Everyone can back me in the house. No, they haven't, actually. Do you want to put... I promise you. They've actually told me. Dude. They kept it real. I promise you. I brought you here. So you can work on our relationship so we can get back together. You best be and yourself. Would you like to talk or not? Go on, then, talk. How dare you? We came here because you had a double life, yeah? You're the same thing. OK. I'm literally in the next room and you're flirting with another girl.

53:55It's everything we've been through. Jazz, please do not do that. I left you because you had a double life and then you're trying to do double life in the villa. Jazz, please. But I'm in the next room. Jazz, I'm in the next room and you're chatting to another girl. I only want you, Jazz. there's no one else. I cannot let you go. I don't want to. All you had to do was keep this shit together for two weeks. I kept it straight. Jazz, listen to me. My first pretty girl that comes around, I'm in the next room. Jazz, please don't do this. Like, I promise you, I didn't need to flirt back on that. And then on top of that, oh, if we break up, I'll message you.

54:28I didn't say that. Oh, me and you can be friends. Why would you want to be friends? You know what that means to her. What does it mean? You know what that means to her because she fancies you. You gave her a hug. Jazz, jazz, jazz. Okay, cool, cool. You know, that's actually a betrayal. I promise you, how you're wording it is totally wrong. You humiliated me. Jazz, I didn't... You've embarrassed me. You've embarrassed yourself. That's what you think. That's exactly what I think. When we finished here, me and you were done. So you're going to fuck off to Newcastle? No, because I want to work on us.

54:55That's why I'm here. That's why I stayed. I've done that because I love you. Oh, shit. So you're willing to throw everything away? You haven't changed. Are you willing to throw everything away? Yes. You're done. I'm absolutely done.

55:09You'll regret this. You'll regret this. You're an idiot. We don't have to talk again. We're done. You will regret this. You'll regret this. Me or you? Because you'll never find a man that will try and help you as much as I can. No, I'll find a faithful man. How about that? I'll never disrespect you. Yeah, right. I honestly wish you the best in life. Yeah, good luck. You're going to need it. Just remember you threw all of this away, Jazz, yeah? I wish you the best in life. I loved you with all my heart. Remember that. Okay. The guy's running. He's horrible. He believes his own lies. I think so.

55:42I don't understand. Don't get it. There were certain moments where I was incredibly sad, actually, for each of you. I mentioned one right at the top with Rebecca early on. It really got me. There was a moment with Steph and Dre where she said, you know, you were my best friend. That really broke me. That broke me right there as well. specifically jazz when you you got emotional and it was interesting is i noticed that you held it together you held back your emotion and in that moment you just you you you let it go which which i i love by the way for me for someone who is on a cheat retreat this is just like you're on a retreat because you have cheated to then do it again cheat like again in front of everyone in front of everybody in front of cameras like you try to lie to the cub like it's just so confusing like there's cameras everywhere so i just for me i'm like how do you think he's gonna get away with this what was the end game here my mind is blown in the final reckoning yeah for many reasons but one reason is that you say that you get basically you got back with craig after yeah that after that you got back with them not my proudest you had sets with him yep can i just find out why um he is good at what he does He's a pro at lying.

57:23When I left the show, like, I was still... I think I still just had hope, if I'm going to be honest. I think I just had hope that he wasn't actually flirting. It wasn't... Like, it was still one-sided. And he'd kind of... He'd called me, we'd spoken after the show, and he basically said that I got manipulated by everybody. The flirting didn't... It was just one-sided and everyone's bone-out proportion. So he put it all on Rebecca? He put it on Rebecca. He said that he wasn't seeing her. He said, you know, I could show you essays and essays of kind of messages of him wanting to get back with me and saying everything that I wanted to hear.

58:02He said that the show manipulated me. He said that, you know, the people around the show were saying and doing certain things to kind of turn me against him so that we'd have drama for the show. So he, like, every person kind of in that situation, he said that they were lying and that he was the one who was telling the truth. You know? And you believed it. And I did. Well, I was confused. And he wanted us to get back together, but I was like, I can't do this. And so then I ended it from there. So when I went to the reunion, I just thought that, you know, it was just going to let bygones be bygones.

58:49Like, I thought it was... I wasn't nervous. I thought it was going to be hard to see him and maybe... and obviously hard to find out if he actually had been flirting, but I didn't think that what was about to happen was going to happen at all. So when you then watch the show and you see this, I'd like to know what your response is. Now, what happened? So you left the retreat. Then you met up with Craig. Yeah, so we've been texting, FaceTiming every day. And then obviously I went and met up with Craig. We had a date. I said, what's been going on with Jazz? Anything he said? No. That's what I was taught.

59:28So you went over to have a date with Craig? Yes, I came to London, actually. Did anything happen with Craig? Yeah, we had a great night. Well, I've used to live with him as well. She must have looked at him. Wow. Craig. Oh, my God. What a dickhead. Biggs, Biggs, Biggs, Biggs. Oh, my God. I mean, you can't say anything, Biggs. Shut up. No, that is nasty. See, you tell us to shut up your rooms. You are the most evil, nastiest, lying, manipulative person I've ever met. I lie, bro. I gave you the benefit of that. Wow. I was over it. I was actually in your corner. Nasty. I love it. There's a lot of judgment on here, but I wasn't with you.

1:00:07You are so nasty. I'm literally in shock. I'm just not sure what kind of game is being played yet, cos... It's a double life. It's a game, a double life. It's the double life, it's what he knows. OK, well, OK, the girls have spoken. Let's get some clarity from you, Craig. So after retreat, Jazz reached out. She said she wants to talk to me, so she came round. I had a lot of feelings for Jazz at that point. It happened... I didn't tell Rebecca. Obviously not. But then what happened after that is Jazz came round the next day, We spoke again, and it was concrete that we didn't want nothing together.

1:00:40No, it wasn't. No, it wasn't. Everything that's coming out of his mouth right now was a lie, but go ahead. Craig, what the fuck? I've never said to you again since we've come back that I wanted to get back with you. He gave me the key to his house. You had a key to my house. Yes, you gave me a new one. You had a key to my house. Don't do that. You gave me a new one. You're lying now. Are you being serious? You've had the key, Jazz. I had the key, and you changed the lock, then you gave me a new one. No, I didn't. No, I didn't. No, I didn't. Oh, my God. You're lying. You're literally lying. You're lying now.

1:01:04Absolute scumbag. You are lying. You're saying I'm lying? You're 100 % lying. I'm sorry. Well, let's give Craig a minute.

1:01:43All right. nasty when we were in a recording room so you were really like i felt attacked by you which is understandable but you never like you were believing craig and that it was all me and i was just trying to get across that it takes to flirt but then but realistically i was a trifle and bitch i was this i was that and i was and then you deserved all that you did i think fraig deserved more but you didn't deserve any less you both deserved the same so the only way i messed up is not being as horrible as I should have to him, but you got exactly what you deserved. OK, that's your opinion? Yeah.

1:02:20OK. And, you know, to then... Because I've called you horrible words because you've gone after my partner that I want to... I didn't want to say a partner. You can see it. No, but you can see it. You can see it on the show. No, you can see it on the show, though. Honestly? No, I'm talking about on the show. On the show. You can see it on the show. You're literally like, if she doesn't if she doesn't want you i'll have you like you're going off you know um and it wasn't actually so yeah but then that just shows you kind of what kind of person you are i can speak okay so all right why don't why don't we do this is rebecca why don't you because you mentioned this when you and i were talking is there are bits that we didn't see yeah that helped to inform your relationship with with craig so what were those and let's let's listen he was telling me that he didn't want to get back with jazz and blah, blah, blah, and then we're going into a reckoning room and it'll be the complete opposite.

1:03:14And then turning around to jazz and saying, Rebecca's being really clingy today. No, you were leaving the door open, telling us that you were so done with jazz. So I was just acting, just cracking on quick the way we were. But then we was doing activities and stuff and you saw him doting on me and saying that he wants to be with me. so why would you not believe that or why would you... Well, I couldn't believe it because, as you said, he was living a double life, he was playing you, he was playing me, playing the current, he was playing everyone. If I saw a man doting after another woman and saying, I want to marry this woman, I want to...

1:03:53And then he comes to me after and is like, and I don't mean any of that, why would that be someone I want to pursue? Why would you want to be with someone who is trying to get someone else in your face? As soon as I had that date with them and I realised that is not the kind of guy that I want. But this was happening throughout the show. I felt like you were enjoying the sneakiness. Yeah. Like, you knew he was trying with Jazz. He was just lying to Jazz. He was lying to both of us. He was lying to everyone. Ask anyone on my side of the truth. I've seen her coming from a mile off and they always used to be like, Craig, like, he was putting it on me.

1:04:26And in my opinion, I felt a little bit vulnerable just finding out my boyfriend had cheated on his and I was getting a bit of attention of Craig, which was just flirty banter at the start. And then it became something like, I'll hold my hands up, yeah? Maybe I should have told you, but I feel like Craig was coming to make things work with you and he wasn't honest with you. He was just living this double life, what he has done repeatedly numerous times, clearly. This was before the final reckoning is when he called you to say he left the show for you. As soon as he got his phone back, he rang and said that.

1:05:02and then when I did go meet and meet all his text messages but obviously again being a sneaky fox he's managed to show like without their conversations You also mentioned Rebecca that after the final reckoning he reached out to you again When that final reckoning happened after all that drama, all the explosion he come up to us and was like oh let's take you out for dinner I'm sorry blah blah blah I was like are you actually okay Yeah. Absolutely not. No. I would be offended if I was you, the fact that he thought he could do that to you because he knows he could never do that to me. So I would be offended by that.

1:05:41Well, I don't know what made him think that I could, but absolutely not. When was the last time, Jaz, that you talked to Craig? The reunion. The reunion. He has reached out. But he has reached out. He sent me, on my birthday, which was a few months after, he sent me a massive bouquet of flowers to my house of a single black rose which was really weird it's one of those roses that lasts like a year and he sent me a moon pig card um the pictures of me and saying to the love of my life and then inside he wrote like an essay apologizing but not directly apologizing for what he'd actually done just being like a really airy flurry apology yeah okay okay i know he just wished you a happy birthday yeah but i ignored that okay and you haven't spoken with him no all right so i want you to watch this and tell me what you think of of this okay i mean me connor and craig are pretty tight um i haven't had any hookups from the show so yeah not me some other people maybe though I don't know if I should hear that bit it's not my place to say there has been just not me but I'm guessing you can guess who.

1:07:15How do you interpret what you just heard Dan say? Someone's been hooking up. Someone's got together. Not me. Not me. Okay. I'm innocent of this. You ever heard something, Craig?

1:07:35All right. Is this not as wild to you as it is to me? Who is it? No, no. Wait, so does this mean that Craig's got with someone else on the show? Dan has... OK, this is... Oh, my God. What? What? The boy don't rest. Wow. So help me understand, who could it be? If it's the case, who could it be? Is it the case? That is wild. If it is, who... Like, laughing wild, like crazy. Tegan? That's all you got. Because the other girls wouldn't. Because Olivia would then, Lucia, nah. No. Rebecca's your friend. Mm-hm. Steph, yeah, obviously not. Wow. This is one where... Sorry, I have to laugh. It'll be Tegan.

1:08:29What? It'll be Tegan. When I saw that clip, I thought... What? It'll be Tika. Do you know who it is? No. Oh, I'd love to know. Can I say? I feel like we will know soon enough. That being said, we see there's another chair here. Yeah. But I have some news for you.

1:08:54Craig won't be sitting in that chair. Oh, okay. All right. Craig cannot come today. But let me say he wants to be here. but he cannot be here. I know he will be watching. So I'm curious what you each have to say, given everything now that you've gone through. Do you have anything to say to him? I learned from my mistakes. I just don't get why he never. Because I believed in him. If you watch the show, they cut out a lot, But I was, like, rooting for Craig. Yeah. I kept telling you, like, you guys are the strongest. I believed him. You get me? Like, I looked up to him, like, I see this guy's changing.

1:09:46Yeah, and it was all fake. It was all fake. I think the only regret Craig would actually have is getting caught. I don't think he actually regrets his actions, because I think he loves it. I think he really enjoys it. He just, like, says ego is strolled. Yeah. It's like he can't help him. I never came. I thought he would have pulled up. You would come to try and get your point across and just lay it straight. Do you all feel used by him? Yeah. Do you, Rebecca? I'm a little bit embarrassed, to tell you the truth. I mean, I fell for it. Obviously, didn't be honest with Jars, didn't be honest with Biggs.

1:10:29And then to hear what Dan's just said on there makes you think, who else was he doing it with? I don't want to set you up for this and you have the right of denial, but do you feel like you owe Jazz an apology? Oh, absolutely, of course. I'm sorry, Jazz, for not being honest with you. Like, really, like, honestly, because if I put the shoe on the other foot, like, I would, I wouldn't feel great about it. I'd feel hurt. I'd feel upset about it. Do you know what I mean? and the last thing I want is we're both being done over by Craig, do you know what I mean? I don't think... I mean, I get it. I'm not going to be your biggest fan, you're not going to be my biggest fan, but I don't want it to be like that.

1:11:15I am, sorry. Yeah, I accept your apology. Just try to find a guy like me. You've got the show too. You need all this, man, OK? I personally didn't know that this show would get the reception. that it's getting. I mean, right now, as we're filming this, it's top 10 in 26 countries. 26? 26 countries around the world, United States. I'm most happy about Jamaica. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I love that. I love that. JA is watching. I've actually had some messages from Jamaica as well. I'm like, okay. Look at that. Look at that. I mean, it's a global hit. And so knowing that the world has eyes on this, what's your response to the world?

1:12:07I hope people are watching it and they can see themselves in everyone. You get me? There'll be guys watching and thinking, oh, I'm exactly like Big Sister, the way I used to be, and I want to change. You get me? So I would say just to the women out there that are going through similar situations, stay strong and just always remember your morals, your values and don't settle for less. What did you learn?

1:12:38Well, I think for me, you know, two wrongs don't make a right. Like finding out being cheated on and then also me keeping a secret from another woman who I should have maybe been honest with. and also believing lies like you know I didn't see past those lies when it was their first time right in front of my face like how could I have been so so stupid to even go along with it to be honest you know like the last thing I want to be is the villain do you know what I mean like Rebecca I'm glad that you're here too because I didn't even want to come nah And I could see that there's been a, you know, there's an acceptance happening among the three of you.

1:13:27And that, to me, is the most important for us. So I'm thankful. Now, that being said, Biggs, we're going to lose you. All right. So, Rebecca, Jazz, if it's okay, I'd love to keep you for a little bit longer. That's okay. All right. Biggs, thank you so much, man. Thank you. Say thank you to you. And yeah, love. Safe flights. All right. Look at this. I appreciate it. I appreciate it. Yeah, thank you. Have a safe flight. Take care, okay? See you. Take care. It's progress. Yeah, it's progress. Yeah. All right. All right, so Rebecca, Jazz, before we bring in Olivia and Liam, I'd love to keep you here for a little bit.

1:14:14Is that okay? This conversation is not just about the show, but it's about infidelity because I will say looking at the comments, what's interesting is I've noticed what I feel is a disproportionate number of comments on, uh, with regard to Rebecca, right. Um, versus the guys in the show, right. The double standard though, to me feels like it exists in society. And when I see women who have cheated on in heterosexual relationships, women who have cheated, to me it feels like they're ostracized more. And when I look through history, it seems like this has always been the case. So what's your take on that idea?

1:14:59I think people just assume, like, because women are much more emotional beings, that there's more emotion behind it, so it's more malicious. Whereas, you know, with men, if they have that excuse, like, oh, well, men will be men. They have a higher sex drive, they can't help themselves. yeah whereas women as a woman does it yeah oh my god yeah right why would she do that yeah right right right so yeah i do think women are judged differently to men if a woman cheats i'm with you but i've heard more of men cheating than i have of women yeah so i think that's where that comes from as well so it's more of a shock when a woman does it interesting what about can Can we talk about social media?

1:15:44Okay. All right. So this is a stat that blew my mind. In the UK, 45 % of divorces involved some element of inappropriate behavior online, mainly through WhatsApp and Instagram. So what do you feel like you learned, maybe in the retreat, even outside, around social media and infidelity? I think it just makes everything a bit easier and people are more accessible. You know, like, you can be sitting on your sofa watching TV and you have access to a beautiful woman or a hot guy and you can just be in the comfort of your own home finding new people to talk to. And some people actually don't post their partner on their socials.

1:16:36So they're able to do it. Yeah, that's true. which is this is what happened with Liam and Olivia you know, he wasn't posted not having it on the socials, people are going to think you're single yeah but in the sea of private life it's a happy life so yeah it's a hard one isn't it yeah, I mean I think it's a fine line I'm pretty sure you have a lot of women in your DMs trying to you know, you're a handsome guy I've had a lot of guys oh okay or plot twist. You know, can I say this? This is wild. I've never said this. I don't think I've ever said this, but this is wild, is the first, like, nude photo I had was a dick pic.

1:17:24No way. That was the first... That was my first... That was my first introduction to it. Yeah, I was like, okay. Okay, this is good. I see, okay. Okay. But, you know, that actually makes me think is that since the show has aired, have you received some sliders? Some folks who have slid in? Not as many as I'd like. I'm single now. But you've had at least one. Yeah, yeah. Okay. What did they hit you with? What was their... It was a nice, cute message. It was like a picture where I looked absolutely hideous on the show. It was like a screenshot. But they said I looked really pretty. I'm like, aw.

1:18:14Rebecca. I've had messages from men like, you need a real man in your life. What were you thinking with these? It's like loads of crazy messages like that. And then I have had some messages saying, like, about the way that the shows went and how I've handled it. I handled myself well, finding out what I did. And then obviously some disgusting messages, actually, like awful messages. I just delete it, but yeah. Yeah, yeah. I always think like how, you know, how miserable is someone to sit there and type out like however many words and specifically find you and then send you that message. Yeah. It's just the highest level of being unkind.

1:19:10And I just, you know, I almost feel sorry for them because I think you must be so unhappy to have to be firing all this negativity at me. Like, I get it, I have your opinion, but some of the comments that people make is unnecessary, you know? Yeah. Everyone can have their opinion. Yeah. We're sat now all having our opinions. Yeah. But we're not being nasty to one another. Yeah, I agree. We're still being human beings at the end of the day. Yes, yes, I agree. I agree. So before we wrap up here, what was it? I mean, not to pry into gritty details, but what was it about that date? We actually just had a great date.

1:19:54And like I say, we spoke every day beforehand. And, like, it was going in a direction where, like, I thought it was actually going to be something. But until I spent that one-on-one time, no one around us, and the next day when I went home and would communicate a little bit, it's like, when are you next coming back? And I was just like, nah, this just, all just wasn't setting right anymore. OK. Sorry, I'm just being nosy. So what actually happened on that date that put you off so much? I think the conversations we had didn't align in the retreat you know it was flirty whatever a bit exciting and then we had a good date but the conversations the distance and stuff it just was never going to work and I think the saying like showing his messages and stuff like between him and Jazz Like, what are you trying to...

1:20:55Like, show me messages of their relationship? Like, that was your relationship with them, like, together? Right. Why do you want to... Like, I don't know, I just found it all a bit... Oh, interesting. So he was showing you messages between him and Jazz on the date? Like, can't prove a point, but I'm like, you was together at some point and you loved each other, like... I don't think so manipulate it. Basically, it was after I told him I can't do this anymore. And, like, he'd obviously wanted us to be together. and I would like message him like I just because obviously I still cared I just dumped the boy kind of thing um and I'd and he I would message him and then he would just like it like the message or he'd call me oh my gosh so you so you're saying he he was doing it he intentionally yeah so that he almost knew he was going to show it to somebody like he's already thought this through beforehand.

1:21:45Yeah, and then when he wasn't, like, getting, like, responding or just liking it, I thought, oh, he's really upset. He's not taking this well, but actually he was setting himself up to show you later. And when he showed you, he said, what, like, look at how... Like, look, it's not me. It's Chaz. But I, like... So calculate. Oh, my God. I didn't want to read messages between Craig and Chaz. Like, I was just like, no, like, whatever that's between you's two but literally the day after the reunion I sent every single screenshot of our conversations, the key that him like sending me essays and our futures together I put that straight into the group chat the team Rosa group chat never understood the thought process behind it all you know what I also think too is think of how much time and effort and energy is going in to doing all of this versus you could put that into another passion in your life.

1:22:47I think this is his passion. Cheating is his passion. I think it's his passion, yeah. I think that's what he loves. He's doing what he loves. I genuinely believe that. Which is sad. Jeez. Jeez. Okay. I want to know who this person is that Dan's on a boat. That's what I want to know. Man, I want to know too. Do you have your phone on you right now? Yeah, can you can you call and called on seriously right here? This will be epic. Yeah. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh

1:23:28Hi Dan, it's Rebecca Yeah, yeah, I'm good at you Yeah, what's going on? um i'm just on the podcast with paul paul we need to talk and we have just watched your video that you sent right um we're all just curious as to who the person is oh i don't know just trying to stay at the pot i can't wait to watch the party All right, Dan, we'll see you, man. Bye. Take care.

1:24:13Can I say, I enjoyed this. I learned a lot more about each of you, right? I love how we unpacked all of these questions that so many viewers have and will have after they watch the show. I love that there's been an apology, right? And I love each of you individually. And thank you for really thank you for doing this this project and being vulnerable. I don't think that there's enough credit given to you and each of the contributors about coming on to a project like this, being incredibly vulnerable and now having to live through millions of people. seeing your vulnerability, right? Seeing your mistakes, seeing your ups, seeing your downs.

1:24:58I think you deserve a lot of credit for that. It's something that many people couldn't do. So thank you. Look, we have a lot of reality TV stars on We Need to Talk, and I'm always talking to them after the recording about what's happening in their lives. And you know what always comes up is that they all are building their own businesses. They are their own brands. And what amazes me most is between filming, interviews, events, and creating content, they actually have the time to run a business too. But when I ask how they do it, almost everyone gives the same answer. They're using Shopify, which also happens to be a sponsor of this show.

1:25:39You probably know Shopify as the platform that helps you sell products around the world, managing things like shipping, inventory, and returns. But what I didn't know is how much more it can do. Shopify's AI integration writes copy, enhances photos, and even creates campaigns. If you're starting your own business and need extra help, visit shopify.co.uk slash need to talk to sign up for your one pound per month trial. I was talking with your show sponsor, Tinder, and they wanted to know if you've ever been on a date that ended up in an unexpected way. Do you have anything like that? Oh, absolutely.

1:26:18Endless, endless stories. I mean, one in particular is that when Jill and I were dating, we went to a slam poetry competition, which I will say I knew nothing about slam poetry. And that's when I learned that you snap your fingers, right, when you applaud. I specifically went there because I wanted to impress Jill so that I can get a little, I'll say, bonus afterwards, you know. But what I learned through one of the poets is that we are all artists. The poet specifically said we are all artists. And that triggered something in me. It made me click to the point where I realized that I wanted to create.

1:26:53I wanted to figure out how to do that. So afterwards, we went out to eat, Jill and I, and we started talking about creating art together. And I learned from that date that, you know, the date isn't just about the other person. It's not about your physical pleasure. It's not about their physical pleasure. It's about what you can learn about life, about yourself. It was an unexpected outcome from a date. So wherever a date may lead, it starts with a swipe. That's why you need to download Tinder.

1:27:25There she is. There she is. Come on. Good to see you. Give me a hug. It's so good to see you. So nice to see you. You look amazing. It's so cute. Oh, you look gorgeous. Thank you. You present well. Thank you. Thank you. Yes. You're always a pleasure. I appreciate it. I appreciate it. So welcome. This is my home away from home. And what I didn't realize was how close the two of you were. And that's the reason why I'd love for Jazz to stay with us for a little while. Now, if we can, Olivia, I would say that your relationship with Liam is one of the most talked about topics on this show. So I'd love for us to be able to unpack it all.

1:28:10okay and if we could let's start with the fact that you you Liam were in a relationship for 10 years prior to the show yes what do you believe kept you coming back those 10 years what do you think it was for me I think it was love like and not only that I just feel like Liam has such a big heart and that's the only thing that really kind of kept me going back because I know he's not a bad person he makes mistakes I feel like everyone makes mistakes but I feel like it doesn't define him and that's why I kept going back what do you think inspired him to do it because you know I think a big question that comes up I see the social media is why would you come on a show like this So what do you think inspired him to want to come on?

1:29:05I think he just wanted to be better, and I feel like he wanted the guidance to make him better in a relationship. Do you think he would have come on if he knew about the text messages? Yeah, I think so. All right. On that note, let's show that clip. Oh, okay. I've noticed that this is one of the most played clips and commented clips. so let's take a look and then let's unpack it okay do you know this girl

1:29:43no you don't know her no you slept with her and apparently you messaged her after as well and she didn't reply to you i have no clue what that is no idea what i'm talking about no idea my best friend went on night out with this girl she said that she slept with liam when me and him were together please if you have done this to me be open and honest like this is the place for it this is the only way we can move forward please

1:30:20that's bullshit

1:30:29that's serious yeah the best way off watching that that's serious olivia in that moment if you can go back to that moment which i know when you see clips like that you probably start to get the same feelings yeah that you had yes you know what were those feelings what was going on for you in that moment? I feel like it was like confusion. I was confused. Did you doubt yourself at all? And did you believe the tears? I did believe the tears. I've never seen Liam cry. We've been put in like hard situations. We've had conversations in the past who's never cried. So that was a massive shock to me. And like knowing that I was going to like pull out the phone on him and say, look, I've got evidence, I almost felt not guilty, but I just felt like I've never had these emotions before.

1:31:24So I'm like, oh, I just didn't know how to be in that moment. From my opinion, observing that, that was textbook gaslighting. And the reason why is because what was being said, we now know was true. It was true. But there was a denial, and not just a denial, but then an effort to make you feel confused, to make you doubt yourself, to make you doubt the evidence. Gaslighting is designed so that the offender can create enough confusion so that their offense isn't noticed. When you look at that now, do you believe that was gaslighting?

1:32:19Yeah, I do see how it was like kind of gaslighting, I guess. Yeah. When we went out and asked for questions from viewers, Olivia, you got the most questions out of everyone. And so I want to go through and let's just discuss some of these, okay, openly and honestly. Mm-hmm. Most popular question. Can you hand on heart say that you trust Liam now? No, just because I feel like I can't fully trust him right now because we're still building the trust. So I guess, like, I do trust him in some sort of sense because he's taking the time out to, like, make sure that I feel a certain way with everything.

1:33:08However, I don't fully, fully trust him yet. Yeah. Do you love him? Yes. Okay. So honest question. How can you love someone that you do not trust? I feel like for me, I know hand on heart that I love Liam with all my heart. I wouldn't be here if I didn't. And I feel like in relationships, I feel like you can build trust as long as you're both choosing each other and you're both willing to put the work in. Of course, like I feel like you can you can build the trust back up. The last time I saw just you and Liam. Yes. We were in good old South London. And you were telling me about how friends and family at that time.

1:33:58Yes. Had not been supportive of Liam. Yes. So has that changed? Yes, massively. OK, how so? Before, we had very separate lives when it comes to friends. And now we've kind of all come together. He now comes to events with all my friends and stuff. So I feel like they're getting to know him better. We've obviously had tough conversations with both of our friends and families. But I feel like it kind of made it easier, especially for us kind of stepping into our new journey together because we needed that support. as well okay when i look at the comments on the show what i i feel like there's a lot of comments around your relationship olivia and liam your relationship have you seen these yes okay so what is it that you're seeing and what's your opinion on that i feel like everyone is just taking the situation and running with it i i get it people are overprotective me and they've seen things they're like, Olivia, like, come on.

1:35:03But I'm choosing him. And it's really hard to see people judge him when they don't actually know him. So what are those comments that you're seeing that's making you feel overprotective of him? I feel like, you know, people saying that they hate him. They think he's the worst person in the world. He doesn't deserve me. You know, I'm 10 out of 10 and he's like three like that's really hard to kind of say enough fair enough so this is probably the best time to bring Liam in definitely bring him in sir we don't do that you're good yeah i'm good yes better now versus always yeah sorry sorry yeah

1:35:59lovely girl i know yeah i'm loving the career man liam welcome welcome i know you said you feel a little nervous. I think it's fair to unpack why. Why you feel nervous in this moment. You know, it's been a lot. And seeing you again, you know, like when you feel all the emotions and stuff, it's just, but I'm good. Yeah. Well, I'll tell you what, mate, you're in a safe spot. I mean, there are definitely topics that I think are challenging. You know, anyone who's watching a program has is they don't see every second or every minute of what's happening. They get little snippets along the way. So basically it's a highlight reel, right?

1:36:47When we were going through this process, I was seeing you all and trying to engage as much as I could. But I also was thinking about the audience's perception of each of you. So to everyone watching the entire series, and says, you know what, I still don't believe this guy. What's your response? Well, it's the growth that I see. Even though not everything was shown, I just know where I was at each point. There's a lot of things that wasn't unpacked in the show and a lot of things that we've been through personally. So I feel like at the end, even when I looked at her, when you see the way we look at each other, there's nothing to act.

1:37:32You can see the love in our eyes. You can see where we was at. I would like to think the viewers could see that was authentic. You know? I don't know if that answers your question. It does. It does. What's been your feeling around the impact of the show and the response that the show has had? Obviously, of course, I'm proud, like in a sense of being a part of something that was so intimate and personal to my life and her life. but it's also good to see that you can come back from a bad situation and make it good and I feel like it's I learned a lot about myself going through that journey so what would you say your your top lesson or lessons have been through you know through the retreat transparency be just don't don't willy-nilly as they say or go around it just be direct now Liam we asked the audience for questions.

1:38:30You have many questions. Oh yeah, I bet. I did too, don't worry. Yeah, you have a lot of questions. He has a lot of questions. This is one of the top questions. I'm going to play a clip and then have you answer the question. Yep. Okay. All right, so let's play the clip here. Like, be honest with me and tell me. Just want to know, like, the truth.

1:39:02It's easy for everybody to say, yeah, you should know, you should know. It was one of them things where it was a drunken night out and I don't really recall it.

1:39:14I am guilty of it, yeah.

1:39:25All right. The question that has come up time and time again is, Liam, in that moment, did you truly not remember having cheated? I want to know this a lot, shouldn't I? I think what's important to first address is where I was at, like, in my life. So that year in particular, like, I'll be honest with you, I wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for her that year. And that's what makes it worse, because I buried 12 people that year. And I had issues, like, drinking a little bit, you know, and I made some bad decisions and there was times when I would drink too much and I would like kind of try to erase the mistakes I made so it was like I would drink and then I'd like wake up next day like you know nothing happened and it's not right and it's not good and there's no excuse for it.

1:40:37That's the main thing, there's no excuse for it. But, of course, I know and I understand that that must have been so hurtful for her to watch because, of course, nobody has a sexual interaction with someone who completely erases that. So if I'm honest, in the sense of what was seen there, is, of course, I recall it. So, yeah, I just want to say to you now, Like, I really do. Like, from the bottom of my heart, I apologize for that because there's no excuse. And every man that has to do something like that has to be man enough to admit that and not go around the roundabouts, you know? So I just want to let you know, like, of course, I didn't mean to do that.

1:41:21I hurt you like that. Thank you. Well, one is thank you for that, right? Two is I find that cheating, a lot of cheating does occur when we're going through traumatic events in our life. And there's various reasons for it, but a lot of it does occur. But the third thing, and this is very important, especially as it comes to healing, is that when your partner is asking the questions, you have to give them all the answers. And if they want to know, it's important to tell them, even though you feel like it's actually placing you on a back foot. But you've made this a big step by saying this. And that answers a lot of the questions I think that folks had, you know.

1:42:09So thank you for that. All right. So let's go through some more questions. All right. And everyone can respond on these questions. Liam, would you have ever told the truth independently if you didn't get found out? If you asked that version of me back then, I'd say I probably would have lied. And that's honest, because if we're going to lay it all out now, the same thing you say now, we can't move forward. Right. So that's like, I would say yes to that. I would have lied. That's real talk. That's real talk. This is a whole new Liam right here. This is what happens when you know that you can lose a diamond, you know, and I feel like I can't do that again.

1:42:59Yeah. I really can't. Man, you know what? That's so real. That hit me when you said that because one thing that I joke about all the time is I know more single women than anybody in the world. This is my joke, right? And I say this is the truth. It's because, you know, I had a matchmaking agency. So it was part of my profession. Also, the industry that I'm in. So my joke is there's nobody that knows more single women who are looking for somebody. Right. So then people will say, well, Paul, like, so how does that work with your relationship? Like, that doesn't make sense. And I say, you know, I've got the best thing that's ever happened to me at home.

1:43:42Why would I risk that for anything in the world? Why would I risk that? I wouldn't. I'd be crazy. I'd be crazy. So the way how you just said that, I know you're in the zone. Don't always like to be out of the zone, though. Yeah, yeah. Never get out the zone. Never get out the zone. All right. I do have a surprise for both of you.

1:44:09Celine has sent us in a video message and you let me know what your thoughts are. Me and Olivia are no longer friends, which has been very, very difficult. I'm grieving someone that just doesn't want to be my friend anymore. I'm very hurt with the way it's kind of been handled. No message since the show's come out. she's really you know I'm being portrayed as a bad friend and that's what I'm obsessed about because I'm not a bad friend I was a very good friend and I've come out there and kind of you know he's the one that's cheated on you and I've backed your corner and gone what are you doing and I think you know he's now told her that if they're to stay together she can't be my friend that's where I think it's coming from I could be wrong um I think he's a bad person I think he's bad I think he will cheat all the time I think I'm more I'm very riled up now I've watched the show and I've seen the way he denied it and then you know he did go oh yeah okay I did do it that's who you are that's that's what that's the that's you that's you um and the audacity he had to create a narrative of the kind of person I am that I'm the one that has a bad rep or bad track record, whatever he said.

1:45:30And I just think, who are you talking to? Unreal. Wow. What does? What did she make there? The Celine show. Crazy. When that camera comes on, the woman, I understand that. Of course, I've not been the best man, and she has all the rights in the world to be angry. But she's never, ever said anything to me for 10 years. She never pulled me up once, never said how she felt, never told me her concerns. Because as a best friend, you pull somebody up, you talk to them if you feel like they're not treating your best friend right. You don't see me in the club and say, Hi, Liam, give me hugs every time you see me.

1:46:20Can you get me a drink, please? And sometimes it is awkward, though, because with you and Olivia, you go through your bad stages and then you always get back together. So to be a friend and navigate that is hard because she's going to go to you, have a go at you, there's going to be loads of animosity, you're going to be in a really bad place and then she's going to get a phone call from Olivia the next week and be like, oh, we've actually made up, but you've just had a shouting match in the middle of the club. I understand it, but the girl, as you can tell, she's not shy of words. And in that moment, I needed her the most, I needed her support and I didn't have it at all.

1:46:53She made it about herself. Can I ask Liam a question? Sure. Because I haven't had an update unless I'm obviously as well. I go, did Olivia come over for Christmas? Because I think that was a massive issue on the show. Did you come over on Christmas? Christmas Eve, yeah. Yeah, Christmas Day was a bit sticky. Yeah, we couldn't make it happen on Christmas Day this year, but we spent Christmas Eve together, didn't we? And that was really nice. And New Year's Eve. Yeah, and New Year's Eve. Just coming into the New Year together, Yeah, but that was really special. Yeah. You know, there was times where Liam would need his space, for example, because I'll be too clingy.

1:47:32I'll be like, no, I don't want to do this with my friends. I would rather do it with you. And now I found, you know, I found, like, a new source of life, I guess, and that's thanks to you, Paul. Aw. And I think, yeah, honestly, and, like, I'm so grateful to have had this experience, especially with everyone involved, like you, Jazz, as well. Thank you for having my back all the time. And thank you for choosing me every day and us resolving everything and you being patient with me and giving me the room to express myself. I really appreciate it, so, yeah. Thank you, baby. Thank you. But that doesn't mean it's easy, all right?

1:48:15I see Jazz going, you said enough nice things, now chill out. But that was lovely. That was lovely, Olivia. I think this has been, you know, when you look back throughout your life, there are certain moments that, you know, you'll never forget. This is one of those. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Olivia. Thank you. Thank you, Leah. Thank you. And that's it for the reunion of Cheat Unfinished Business. The first thing I have to say is thank you to the cast for presenting their vulnerability and their honesty. And thank you to you for watching the show and making it a top 10 trending show in over 26 countries around the world.

1:48:59And last but not least, if you have not yet watched Cheat Unfinished Business, I encourage you to do so. You will be entertained and you just might learn a thing or two.
