0:00The Judgment Day is back and they are ready to take over Raw once more. The Vision has their eyes set on the WWE Championship, and we have a date. We know who the final two are in the John Cena tournament, and the Women's Tag Team division has never been this explosive. This is the Raw recap of WWE and Fanatics Original Productions.

0:32Megan Morant so much went down on Monday Night Raw tonight that it must be recapped so thankfully we are here we are back we are back back to recap we're so back I've got a lot to say about Liv Morgan and her impact on the judgment day her impact on Monday Night Raw I cannot wait Star power beyond star power beyond star power. But when you talk about star power, you have to talk about the vision. I think coming out of War Games, the conversation that was on a lot of fans' minds was who was that masked man? Paul Heyman said to Adam Pearce's face. And Paul Heyman is not one to lie. Come on. Paul Heyman said to Adam Pearce's face, I do not know.

1:25Who was under that mask? I don't know who that was. I feel like if it really was a situation where Paul Heyman had nothing to do with that, he would be a little more or a little less, I would say, lackadaisical about finding out who exactly it was. But maybe he goes, look, I don't know and I'm not concerned. Listen, Paul Heyman had an agenda, a very specific agenda to get to tonight on Monday Night Raw, and that involved Braun Breaker. Yeah, I understand. I understand. And Adam Pearce had a specific agenda to get to, which was who interfered in the War Games match, which, by the way, we still don't know who that masked man was.

2:05We don't. Eddie, who is at this point the most dependable referee. He's not, you know, being involved in questionable matches with an intercontinental championship. He's not refusing to count for other intercontinental champions. That's right. He's just there to do his job. He's not cheap like other referees. Danilo? No, he is not. He doesn't mind spending. But in this case, Eddie was sent on a specific assignment to get in, like to get into these locker rooms and figure out who is saying what. And all he came up with was that nobody on that roster knows who the masked man was. But people keep bringing up the fact, and I saw these photos, people keep bringing up the fact that Seth Rollins was photographed in the building in the building no sling at war games no sling on his shoulder now look he's got every reason to be at war games his wife was in a war games match but odd that he didn't have the sling and odd that he was uh that he was in the building coincidental Seth Rollins it couldn't be I mean it could be Seth Rollins but based on what happened between Braun Breaker and Seth Rollins why would Seth Rollins help Braun Breaker maybe he wasn't doing it to help Braun Breaker maybe he was doing it to hurt CM Punk and I mean who has more motivation to hurt CM Punk than Seth Rollins I'm with you I'm playing devil's advocate and what you're saying makes sense it's just like with what happened at SummerSlam would this really happen again with Seth that's what I was going to ask you Are you one of these people that's like, Seth Rollins can't fake another injury?

3:50Because I'm really not. And by the way, I don't believe people actually are. Like, if you listened to the audience. Oh, he could do it. Yeah. Yeah, he could. If you listened to the audience in San Diego for a moment when they saw the stomp and they were like, could it be Seth? People went nuts for the possibility. I mean, I think it would be insane. I don't, I mean, I don't think it's Seth Rollins. I don't think it's Seth either. But so far there's, I mean, there was no evidence to the contrary presented on Monday Night Raw. If we're looking at what has furthered this story, right now the only information added to the story was Paul Heyman takes no ownership.

4:34And Seth Rollins was in the building and not wearing a sling. It's key that he was not wearing a sling. That's all we know. That's it. And I just find it very interesting that Adam Pearce has been so invested in getting to the bottom of this, but hasn't been focusing on other injustices that have been happening within WWE. Interference in the main event of war games, but not other injustices. I mean, with the officiating, there's a clear officiating problem in WWE. Well, I hope that it's cleared up by the end of the year. Because what we did find out was that Braun Breaker and Paul Heyman go into Adam Pierce's office.

5:10And Paul Heyman says, last night or Saturday night, Braun Breaker pinned the world heavyweight champion. I think we have something to discuss. And they all go into that office together. And Adam Pierce, I mean, he just looked like the last person in the world that he wanted to talk to was Paul Heyman. Well, it's probably Becky Lynch's last. Paul Heyman is second to last. That's probably right. Chelsea Green, third to last. Chelsea Green is third to last. Good for Chelsea. That she's on that list. That's a really... She's moving up. That's a list of elite talent. Yes. You know, as well, to be honest.

5:45But you got to take these meetings sometimes. I mean, clearly he wasn't able to take a Becky Lynch meeting because if you're looking at Twitter, Becky Lynch was not at Raw. She will not be covered on Raw recap because she didn't do anything on Raw because... She's protesting. Well, she's boycotted Monday Night Raw. Yeah, protesting. And I will wear a Becky Lynch shirt on the Raw Recap Show until justice. She's publicly gone on Twitter trying to get me fired from my other employment. Me, specifically. Not generally. Literally. For your morals. What are you talking? I can't get into it. I can't.

6:18I can't. It will give me such agita, heartburn, the whole thing. I can't even do it. You are an insane person. It's been a long week of your suspension. Listen, listen. And maybe, you also seem to want to, were you the best? Do you want to talk about Braun Breaker and Paul Heyman? Because we can. We can. Let's, yep. Yes, that's exactly. Thank you. Thank you for getting me back on track. Because Braun Breaker. You knocked me off track, by the way. But thank you for getting me back on track. And I was complaining about you on the radio this morning that after everything I've done, you are still completely disloyal.

6:52However, that's neither here nor there. We're not talking about that right now. It's disgusting, but we're not talking about that right now. So the announcement gets made. Here comes the vision. And by the way, shout outs to Barack Lesnar. Shout outs to Drew McIntyre. Always love it when Paul Heyman gives the shout outs. Shout outs to both of them. But while the shout outs were being had in the ring, Logan Paul is taking a seat in the vision. This is not some group that was put together for war games. This is Logan Paul kind of showing up and be like, yeah, I'm here for this too. I'm here too.

7:32Yeah, Paul Heyman said that Logan Paul fits perfectly in the vision of the future of WWE. And he really does. And he made an impact tonight, which we'll get to in just a moment. But he makes the announcement that on January 5th, you remember the first Raw of 2025 was a massive massive monday net raw the first raw ever on netflix from los angeles california you had cm punk and seth rollins you had ria ripley winning the women's championship yeah all this stuff oh ria and live that ria and live morgan roman reigns roman reigns solo sokoa the final boss was there it was amazing so the first raw of 2026 january 5th that's the night in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn where where where Braun Breaker gets his shot at CM Punk's World Heavyweight Championship there are all these rumors right after war games could this be the WrestleMania match we're going right to the first Raw which has become you know in recent history a premium live event caliber show into and of itself and the headline match right now is Braun breaker versus CM punk for the world heavyweight title.

8:46That is huge because braun breaker is this guy that has always been positioned as potential the future. And he's surrounded by other people, whether it's Paul Heyman, whether it's Brock Lesnar, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul. And it's like, but you're looking and go one day, one day, one day. And at war games, he pinned the world heavyweight champion. And you said, is that day sooner than we anticipated? Boom. Because that's what I was thinking. Right. Always the future, but is the future five years from now? Is the future three years from now? Oh, wait, the future might be in a few months. Listen, one, not a few, one month.

9:22This is one month. This is not, you don't want to believe that we've got less than a month left in 2025, but that happens to be the truth. It's one month away is this episode of Raw that we're talking about, where Braun Breaker gets his opportunity at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Paul Heyman called Braun Breaker the future of WrestleMania? What if Braun Breaker walks into WrestleMania 42 as the world heavyweight champion? Look, it's a possibility. Everybody's sitting there going like, can you imagine if Braun Breaker goes for the world title at WrestleMania? Can you imagine if in the Royal Rumble, 30 men are competing to see who gets the honor to challenge the world heavyweight champion Braun Breaker at WrestleMania?

10:08It's literally one match away from happening. I mean, it's pretty wild because I think back to the raw after Braun Breaker and Bronson Reed took out Seth Rollins and Braun Breaker arrives at the at the arena. He has the World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder and he's walking next to Paul Heyman and Bronson Reed. And it looked it looked right. I mean, yeah, you're right. It did look right. It looked right. Holding it up at the end of the show, having it the next week. It looked really amazing. Can you imagine if Seth Rollins is really injured, if he's as injured as he says he is and doesn't have any masks or anything, if Seth Rollins really doesn't come back for several months and when he does get back to the WWE to get his revenge, he walks into a WWE where Brom Breaker is the reigning defending world heavyweight champion.

10:54I would love that. I mean, can you like how do you even the whole world has shifted? Yes. And this is the type of stuff that happens on that first Raw of the year. This is the stuff that happens for the whole year, for 2026. I mean, it's sort of the beginning of WrestleMania season. One could argue. The Royal Rumble is. You could say Royal Rumble is. Some people say War Games is. Yeah. But realistically, when you are setting the reason that this first Raw of the year exists, the day one Raw, whatever you want to call it, and it's the same Raw where The Rock came back a few years ago and really said those first sentences that started the build to what would be WrestleMania 40.

11:38Where he sits at the table. Exactly. Yeah. You know what I mean? You go to the year after and that's Netflix first Raw where you're building to 41. And you're right. I mean, but there's nothing about this because you could say right now, well, no, I mean, you know, I think we've all been assuming CM Punk's going to defend the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. We've all been assuming this. That's what I was assuming until tonight. That's what I mean. Like there's nothing that says that this wouldn't happen. Like why wouldn't? Why wouldn't? If they want to charge into 2026, why wouldn't that first Raw be the night that like something shocking happens?

12:18Why wouldn't that night be the night that Braun Breaker is like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We're not telling you that this guy is going to be the future someday. This is the guy right now. And I dare anybody to tell me different. That's the position that Braun Breaker could be in. And I tell you what, when he spoke on the mic tonight, there was no doubt, no doubt in my mind that he belongs in that position. The best thing in wrestling is when you're watching with a friend, you and I are watching together. Yep. and just a line gets said and you just look at each other at the same time like, whoa.

12:58Wow. When Braun Breaker has that microphone and is already cutting this incredibly intense promo. What did he say about CM Punk? How does he describe him? He describes CM Punk as a soft-ass bitch. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. That was the first time we looked at each other and said, whoa. Okay, here we go. Here we go. then he pushes forward to what happened at war games and the fact that like he took that doomsday device landed on the back of his head and says CM Punk almost broke my neck he said I'm gonna take everything from CM Punk I'm gonna ruin the vision that everybody has of CM Punk and then he said I don't know and then it's like oh this is real life this is it we're not playing wrestling this is real life when Braun Breaker and this was because this is one of those things like that comes up in a promo that you're like there's an arena full of people and millions watching at home on live tv and we're all saying i didn't know this happened this was a personal thing that happened when he says you remember at wrestlemania when you pulled me aside and said congratulations kid now let's see if you can cut a promo with the big dogs well this is the promo he said well la Da-dee-da.

14:10This is the promo. And I'm like, it gave me, I mean, this is Braun Breaker's moment where he held the iPad and he looked at the documentarian and he said, and I took that personally. Yeah, because we didn't see that interaction between CM Punk and Braun Breaker, but it happened. CM Punk came to me and said, let's see if you can cut a promo. And I took that personally. Oh, and it's just, and you know. And he's been thinking about it every single day. Every day. Since WrestleMania 41. Because it came right off the top. Until now, it's December 1st. You could feel it. Like, as he said it, it was like, I've been wanting to say this.

14:47I've been wanting to scream this for a long time. I mean, he wants to beat up CM Punk. I can't wait. It's unbelievable. So we got that. We got no Masked Man news. And then, of course, Logan Paul had himself a night along with the vision. not only got to be a part of this, but may have his eyes. I don't know if he has his eyes on the Intercontinental Championship or just wants to make sure that nobody else has their eyes on the Intercontinental Championship because he interrupted Rey Mysterio. My favorite part of Monday Night Raw tonight was when Rey Mysterio referred to his son Dominic as his bastard son.

15:27My bastard son, Dominic Mysterio. And I'm like, bro, you weren't married? Like when you had Dominic. Wait, are we sure Ray is his dad? Oh, is Ray saying that Eddie is Dominic's dad? Are we going back to SummerSlam? Oh, two? Maybe. I mean, I still have questions about that ladder match. How legal? Was that the first instance of child abuse? The fact that he won his custody in a ladder match? I think if you asked Dominic, you'd say, yeah. It's the fact that he put his custody up in a ladder match. Is that child abuse? I mean, listen, it's emotionally scarring. And those are the scars that last. You know what I'm saying?

16:12Those are the scars that make you go on SportsCenter. Imagine that. If you're like, you know how I know who my dad is? And I was like, how, Megan? And you were like, I watched him win my custody in a ladder match. You don't think you'd have some, like, inner turmoil? Would you? Of course. Okay. Absolutely. I love that you've come around on the Dom band. It explains Dominic so well. I love that you've come around on this and realized maybe there's a lot of truth in what Dominic is saying. Rey Mysterio went on TV. Not only did he say Dominic was a bastard, which is crazy talk for your dad to say.

16:44That's a wild, wild, wild thing for your dad to say on television. But also, then Rey Mysterio looks at Logan Paul and he said, you're the only person who might be a bigger ass than my own son. and it's like bro I know that there's problems but what the hell it's also just 48 hours removed from his son winning the intercontinental championship another thing that's another thing by the way John Cena was intercontinental champion you didn't hear Rey Mysterio going oh I want to be intercontinental champion you're right he was like good for John his son wins the intercontinental title and Rey goes you know what I'd like to have the intercontinental title this is like you know they talk about this a lot in therapy when parents actually become jealous of their child this is all these kids that get emancipated in hollywood this is not there's a there's a lot of that going on yeah free dominic that's what i say free dominic this is terrible i can't believe especially as dominic i mean is having the time of his life we'll get to dominic in a moment uh but we we we have to get to la night yes we spoke to la night immediately immediately after his match with Jey Uso in the John Cena tournament, I mean immediately, he came through the curtain, walked to his dressing room, and we were right there waiting for him.

18:00But before we get to LA night, I want to tell you about Aura Frames. Aura is the perfect holiday gift. They are amazing. You will be the star of the holiday season. We're talking about LA Knight. One of the two that made it to the finals of the John Cena last time is now tournament. And we got him immediately after that match tonight. I mean, literally, fresh out of the ring, fresh off of making it to the finals of the Time Is Now John Cena tournament.

20:46The last time is now, dummy, come on. Go ahead, keep that in there. Yes, please keep that in there. LA night. No, you shouldn't. And you should be confident right now. You made it all the way to the finals. You were talking just on SmackDown about it. It feels like every time you almost get there, there's somebody to cut your legs out from under you. I mean, how do you feel in this moment? This is the first moment that you've had to realize that you've made it to the finals of this tournament.

21:17Man, it's like my career just kind of, it rhymes a lot. I won't say that it repeats, but it rhymes a lot. And what ends up happening is, again, it always feels like there's forces trying to tug at the cape a little bit, keep Superman down. But at the end of the day, man, I don't know how to quit. I don't know how to stop. And when you have that kind of a determination, there's no way that you can stop me from rising. Now, look, there's always going to be bumps in the road. Everything's not going to go perfect. But at the end of the day, I'm a little beat up. All power to Jey Uso. He definitely brought it out there.

21:50Damn, I mean, on the brink of the wind, he hit the splash right there. And just with that little boost of adrenaline, I was able to pull out the little roll-up. Good God. But I tell you, I want to just get up in pace right now. I got so much adrenaline and everything going through me. I mean, literally walked right out of the ring and this guy just grabbed it and said, hey, let's throw you on camera real quick. You guys are getting tricked right now. I mean, it was amazing. And you could tell the adrenaline was going, but you were still in that frame of mind. I could see that like while you had him in that crucifix roll up, you were also positioning your hand.

22:20Survival instincts, man. And just making sure though that that pin, if you were going to get the pin, that the pin was going to count, your arm was going to be positioned right. Everything was going to be right because all it takes is that one moment. And you got that one moment. when you first of all getting a win over Jey Uso right now as you know you two are one of the two or two of the two top fan favorites in the industry and so it was a big match I think in general when you look forward right and and the possibility now one match away from John Cena's last match when you think about it is it about John Cena's career is it about what John Cena has done or is it purely about you look I know everybody out there um everybody out there kind of does the whole thing of like oh you know it'd be great to be John Cena's last opponent and this and that look I got all respect in the world for John Cena and everything that he's done uh the greatest of all time yeah he might be and if that's the case if that's what we're saying here my thought is at first I thought I'm not really a dream match guy I don't care about that I'm here to make money.

23:25I'm here to win championships. If I'm honest, let me just be a hundred percent transparent with you. Uh, at the same time, I appreciate everything that's happened. I appreciate the fact that when I go out there, everybody jumps out of their seat and they say, yeah, cause they just can't help it. They're feeling that Kevorka. That's what it is. And I appreciate the hell out of that. But at the same time, I got to look at this like a business cause that's what it is. And so for me, it's a matter of fact that John Cena, greatest of all time. And if I end up in that ring with him and I get the one, two, three, or who knows, I'm not a submission guy but if I make the guy submit hell I don't know if that makes me the greatest of all time but I gotta be damn moving in that direction wouldn't you say I get pretty close that's where my head is I would think so but before you can even think about John Cena there is an opponent that would come before John Cena and Gunter has a match later tonight and Gunter has been this unstoppable force in WWE how does one even think about going up against someone like Gunter or Solo for that matter you can say the same thing about Solo Sakoa the people that he's been putting on on their backs and Solo and I have done the dance uh you know a hundred different times um but with Gunther you talk about well first of all I just want to say that that's why I'm a little bit uncomfortable doing this interview in the first place because I feel like we're celebrating right now and I haven't done anything yet.

24:47Yeah, I want to match. Yeah, I'm moving on. But like, I haven't won the thing yet. I haven't taken this thing over yet. I haven't risen to the top and said, hey, yeah, it's me and John Cena. Hey, yeah, it's me. I beat John Cena. But that's okay, because here we are. I'm going to not count my chickens at this point. And like you said, yeah, there's Gunther. He's an unstoppable force, this and that. But a lot of people say I'm an unstoppable force. Has anybody ever seen somebody walk into this place and take this place over the way that I did. If you look back to 2023 and you look how a lot of people wanted to go ahead and, you know, they wanted to count my demise a long time ago.

25:18They want to say, oh, this guy is going to be a flash in the pan. Oh, he's going to be a flavor of the month. Huh? Here we go. What? Two, three years strong, still running. Nothing's changed. I don't know if you heard when that three count went down. This, you want to talk about an unstoppable force. This is the unstoppable force. This is what is. I am what is. And instead of looking forward, because you're right, That remains to be seen. You could talk about this tournament and everything that's happened in this tournament. And the fact is that, that you've been in positions that are unique only to you and your journey in this thing.

25:50I mean, go back to the first round and the idea that you've got a guy coming in, in Zack Ryder, making his return, somebody that, you know, the fans are going to be excited about somebody that, you know, has gotten better and better and better and better in the time that he's been gone. And it would be very easy for you to be in a position where you're the incredible guy that Zack Ryder beats on his way to beating John Cena. But, but even that moment wasn't too big to stop the kind of wave of momentum that you're on. No. And you're talking about what, two weeks in a row, I got to do a mystery opponent.

26:23It's just, you know, again, sometimes it just feels like the cards just being stacked against me. I'm looking at the deal. I'm trying to play a fair game here and they're just pulling from the bottom of the deck. So I don't know at the same time, let me just rewind just a little bit. Cause everything that I just said, you're talking about the unstoppable force, this, that, whatever. And that was kind of in response to what you were saying about Gunther. Now I don't want to take anything away from him. Everybody sees what he does. He's super tough. You're talking about Sola Sikoa, extra tough. You're talking about two guys who have hurt a lot of people and who've done a lot of damage around this place.

26:53But at the same time, when I hear that, I start to get just slightly offended. And I know you don't mean it that way, but I hear it that way because I'm like, oh, he's an unstoppable force. Well, who's talking about that like me? Who's talking about like that about me? And so with that thought, you know, then I start thinking, well, hold on. Let's just rewind a little bit. Let's look at the history. Let's look at what's happened. Let's look at the things that I've done and I've gone through. Now, look, what one of those guys, at least Gunther, has over me, world heavyweight champion. I ain't done that yet.

27:26So, yeah, you're looking at another thing where you've got a guy who's got a little bit more credentials than I do. and you're talking about not only can I go in there and beat what you call unstoppable force, beating another former world champion like I did tonight, another feather in the cap there. But also Solo Sokoa, again, man, he and I have been up and down the roads a hundred different times. So to beat him also, and another guy who, don't forget, has beaten John Cena. That's right. Yes. Solo Sokoa put about a dozen Samoan spikes into John Cena's neck. Let's go back, though. Let's go back a couple of years.

28:02Speaking of John Cena and your own history with John Cena and the interactions that you had, I want to say, in 2023. I felt like and I remember specifically watching that and noticing it because I find that especially in the last five years, when you see especially fan favorite modern WWE superstars interacting with John Cena, they do it from a place of reverence. when I saw you do it, it struck me as you were coming from a place of respect, but it didn't seem like you wanted to put yourself in that reverence spot. It didn't say it seemed like you were deliberately not to being disrespectful, but deliberately making sure that nobody saw you as being under the learning tree because you were your own superstar.

28:50Did I interpret that correctly? You might agree or disagree with this, but in my mind, I'm putting myself on the same level as him. He's one of my peers. So in that sense, in this business, if he's one of my peers, I'm not going to look up to him. Again, I can respect everything that he's done. And again, people might call him the greatest of all time. He might be the greatest of all time. And I can recognize that all the things that he's done on scene 17, all this stuff. But with that being the case, I'm still not going to go in there and, you know, lather this guy up. And if you if you look at our first interaction, the reason that I was that I don't want to get too in the weeds here, But there was a point in that match with Miz where he almost cost me the match.

29:25There was a little bit of a distraction. Something happened. So I was a little bit hot on him at the end. So it wasn't like I was going to go up to him and give him a big hug. And, hey, man, that was great. So for me, it was a little bit of, hey, man, you almost cost me that whole damn thing. And you got to watch yourself. And like, because, look, he's been around a long time. I hadn't. So you could also say, well, maybe you should just kind of maybe walk on eggshells in that sense. No, no, we don't do that. as far as I'm concerned, it was, Hey, I need to make my footprint here. And if I'm going to do that with no disrespect, again, respecting everything that he's done and understand that, but at the same time, I'm a man.

30:01And if you're going to take potentially food off my plate, we got to talk about that. So yes, I was definitely a little bit, um, perturbed for the moment, but eventually we got to the handshake and we were good. I mean when you look at a potential Saturday night's main event do you think about that night and what it means for John Cena or is that a complete afterthought because you are LA Knight and the way you operate is in is in the world that is known as LA Knight it's um it's tough to get that far ahead um yeah and it's especially tough to get that far ahead for somebody else And I don't mean that in, you know, I don't see anybody else.

30:41I very much have an eye on other things that are going on and what other people are doing and try and put myself in other people's, you know, in other people's shoes as much as I can in certain situations. But it's tough for me not to look at day by day because, you know, with everything that we talked about earlier, where it's like, it always feels like somebody is trying to tug on the cape. It always feels like somebody is trying to stack the deck. And with that being the case, it's kind of tough to look too far ahead because it's tough to really make plans because you almost have to just be always in the damn moment and present is there any part of you that when you're in a match with a guy like jay usso and you know you look at that referee and you know that third hand is coming down you're about to win this match is there any part of you that wonders are they going to still cheer for me i beat one of their favorites are they still going to cheer for me or does that not come into your head at all?

31:31No, that never came into my head actually. But you know, I definitely have thought about that in the sense of like, man, are we kind of splitting the audience? Like, are we, are we making the people choose? But I don't know. I'll be honest while we were out there, it felt like the people weren't necessarily choosing so much as just in kind of enjoying every moment. And I don't think we were out there. Jay and I don't have like necessarily a, an overtly personal issue. And I definitely were competitors and we both wanted to win the match. but I don't think it was like a blood feud or anything so I think in a way they were able to enjoy it in the sense that nobody was out to physically injure the other person beyond hey I want to get a three count and go on so I think that made it easy for the people to enjoy now if one of us would have gone out there and tried to hurt the other one then maybe we've got something to talk about but no you know the only time I think about that is when I let the people down when I lose when the three is getting counted against me you know, you start to think like, okay, at what point will the people maybe start to lose faith and just go, ah, man, damn it.

32:35You know, we like this guy. We want this to happen, but it's just not going to happen. And so in that case, I think about that certainly. But at the same time, you gotta, I really get on myself to not think about that and try and focus on not thinking about missing the shot, but always thinking about how I'm going to make the shot. yeah it's really interesting hearing you phrase it that way because it sounds like that's what fuels you you the the idea is that if if you don't have consistent pure blind 100 faith in yourself that you run the risk of the audience losing faith in you and therefore at no point if i didn't have that i wouldn't be sitting here having this interview with you right now that's right my My entire career is predicated on blind, damn near idiotic faith.

33:23You know, I mean, just just believing that, hey, I've got something here and I got to keep pushing because at plenty of times I've been at places where most people probably would have quit and probably would have been smart to quit in certain ways. But in all honesty, it's paid off in such amazing ways that I can't even describe to where the best thing that I did was blindly believing myself like that. And so, yeah, I think that that's really all I can do. And whether the people come along with me or at some point they just go, you know, it's not going to happen. Doesn't matter. I can't focus myself on that.

34:02I appreciate every single bit of what they give me. I feed off of that stuff. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be in the position I am without them. If I'm honest, especially everything that happened with that, with how everything just blew up a couple of years ago and now it's continued on. People made me. I can't take that away from. And I thank him to the hill at the same time. Let's say at some point, if they're not with me, I can't worry about that. I got to do me. I got to keep doing me. I mean I think there's something very uh almost old school about the idea that there is still a professional wrestler that really is in the business for themselves and I mean that in a completely positive sense that like people have always said that the wrestling business is a selfish business and and and if you want to be the star that you want to be that's got to be how you live.

34:55Well, you know, and it's, but, but there's, there's different ways that you go about that. And there's different ways that that happens. And there are certain ways that I don't participate in that. Again, there are certain people who will undercut other people, very cutthroat business, that kind of stuff. That's not the kind of stuff that I do. What I mean is a simple fact that this business, if I'm honest, if it gets the chance, it will chew you up and it will spit you out. Let's be honest. And for me, it's how do I get ahead of that? How do I chew up the business, spit it out or squeeze it for every bit of juice that I can get out of it.

35:25And that doesn't mean taking advantage of anybody that I'm with or anything like that or nothing like that. And at the same time, you still got to look at stuff, you know, even take it back. The one time when I said the thing about the crying and whatnot, I still want to, it is a selfish business and I'm in it for money. I'm in it to win championships. I'm in it to be the best. But at the same time, if I can leave a good mark on this thing, I'm not opposed to it. But at the same time, I'm just not the type of guy where I'm like, oh, it was my childhood dream to do this, that, whatever. Now, look, was there a little bit of me that was just like, oh, my God, that'd be cool?

36:00Yeah. But I didn't grow up as a kid saying, oh, I'm going to be a wrestler. This wasn't a thing that happened to me until I was an adult. And I was like, oh, that's an actual job you can go do? Oh, OK, yeah, I'm going to go do that. So for me, it's just kind of different in that sense. And, you know, stupid me, because I mean, there's different ways to get in this business. But the way I got in, it took me a long time and it was a long, hard fight and climb to the top. And but finally, I'm here. And at this point, I'm rambling. I'm probably boring everybody to death. But but yeah, it's a selfish business.

36:33And because of that, you have to take selfish moments. And again, but I say that in a way where, again, it's not a matter of taking advantage of the people around you. it's not a matter of you know cutting other people's legs or throats or whatever you want to you know call it to where you're gonna do that kind of stuff I ain't in all that but what I'm saying is I'm here to make sure that me and the people around me are taken care of and I do this better than anybody in the world so with that being the case let's get this done that's what I wanted to hear that's what I was getting it and I've got to tell you as you were explaining how you got in the business and everything it just clicked something in that could take this conversation into another hour so i'm not gonna go any further with it i think i'm the whole show at this point yeah yeah yeah i'm gonna let you go we appreciate you uh yeah spending some time with us you can get dressed now uh some of my trunks over here congrats on the win uh excited to see you in the next round i'm excited too and by the way and you just stood up in your trunks and i just wanted to say i don't know if anybody has said this about you and i keep meaning to say it to you and I always forget but everybody talks about the sneaker influence in the world of professional wrestling and I don't think that there is anybody that is more sneaker influenced in the world of professional wrestling without wearing sneakers than LA Knight I I recognize the Jordan 3 cement on the side of the trunks I recommend the 11 inspired boot I I mean I recognize the 11 inspired boots the 12 inspired boots I see them all I see them all well so for For me, so again, we're talking about how I got in the business, old school, this, that.

38:10I was always, you wear boots when you're a wrestler. So let me have the boots. And probably, man, it had to have been 2014, that far back, where I'd started in a notebook drawing what I wanted. I want this, this, this. It was so hard to find a bootmaker that could do it until finally, I think it was about 2016, I found some guy in Mexico. And so now I get them custom made. Every few months, I'll get a pair sent up to me. I'll draw them up, something. Here's what I want. Here's what I want. Here's the measurements. Da-da-da. And off we go. We got some custom LA Knight 12s here. That's sick. I love it.

38:42That's absolutely awesome. LA Knight, congratulations on tonight. Thank you. We always appreciate you, dude. Hopefully, you'll be telling me congratulations next week, and then congratulations at Saturday Night's Main Event. That's right. We'll see what happens, but Unstoppable Force, I think you said right, and you were talking about me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you, man. Thank you. I mean, big thanks to LA Knight. Yeah, that was great. And we did that interview, like I said, immediately after his match. We'd see him later in the night when he confronted Gunther after Gunther beat Solo Sokoa in another John Cena last time is now a tournament match, which we'll talk about momentarily.

39:19I also want to talk about Jey Uso post LA Knight match because I don't know that we'd seen the full Jey Uso crash out in effect when we talked to to LA Knight before it all happened. But I will say, I feel like your question made a big impact on him, because if you look at his Twitter account right after the interview on his way out to see Gunther, he was citing your question. Yeah, he did not like that Gunther was called the unstoppable force. And to the point where it felt like he was going out to confront Gunther. Why? Because scandalous Megan Morant asked the question. You got in his head and he was like, you know what?

39:56It's not enough that I talked to Sam and Megan about this. I got to go talk to Gunther about this face-to-face. Tonight, I was his, and I took that personally moment. That's right. That's right. That was me. This was, I mean, you were his muse. And I mean, the fact that he looked right in Gunther's face, no fear whatsoever. I loved that conversation, by the way, with LA Knight. I feel like we got to the bottom of a lot. He really is just one of these like old school wrestling stars. Yes. And I can't wait to see this Gunther versus LA Knight match. And I want to talk to you about it. and I want to talk to you about Gunther and about Jey Uso, but I also want to talk to you about Raycon.

40:34These are Raycons right here. This message, sponsored by Raycon. If you're looking for a holiday gift, I've been using Raycon's essential open earbuds, and honestly, they're so good. So they sit. You just wrap them around, you know, and they sit outside your earbuds. So they don't block everything out. You're still able to be present in life. And they're very comfortable. See, they're made of this very, very comfortable kind of rubbery. These are perfect for running. Can hear the traffic. Exactly. Can hear the music. Exactly. You hear the music, but you're not cut out from life. So it's safe if you're running.

41:08If you just don't want to be antisocial, you leave them on. And you can still enjoy all the music. The speakers are incredible, but you're there with life. For the Raw recap show. A little Raw recap in the background. Of course. Who doesn't want that? Sam in one ear, Megan in the other, let you know what's going on. They're really light. And the ear hook part, it rotates. So they actually stay in. I've worn them at the gym. I've worn them on walks, doing stuff around the house. They don't fall out and they don't get uncomfortable. And I think that that's the key. I wore them at the gym as you flex.

41:41Just so people know I wasn't fibbing. Raycon has over 3 million customers and the sound quality is just as good as the way more expensive brands at half the price. Because they're not paying for celebrity endorsements. Just endorsements from regular folk like us. The essential open earbuds are here for the holiday season and they're selling fast. Raycon audio products are up to 20 % off this holiday season. Go to buyraycon.com slash rawrecapopen to save on Raycon audio products site-wide. Order by December 15th to guarantee delivery by Christmas because great gifts should not show up late. And I will tell you this.

42:19You will know when you're a celebrity, when you've made it. When Raycon says. It'll dry right up. so so you know not only did we see this confrontation between la night and gunther uh but once again i mean jay usso is back to dealing you know with what i would medically call a gentle mental where that i mean that that might i feel like the kids would call it crashing out he crashed out hard yeah he dumped the whole hydration station i feel like there's been times in the past where we thought jay might be crashing out right no we saw this we're looking at a picture right now on crash out i mean look at his face that's a crash out face if i've ever seen one in my life i mean and there's there's there's prime all over the place it didn't seem like it was the fact that he lost to la night it was more so how he lost to la night the crucifix roll-up that's right yeah well and then it was just one simple mistake again and he lost but i mean i just can't like how do you go 48 hours ago you were sitting on top of a war games cage yeeting with 45 000 people yeah and two days later you're crashing out dumping over a hydration station all over the steel stairs people are thirsty and now they can't enjoy it they can't be hydrated and about 15 minutes before this crash out he was yeeting in the crowd with the kids he was yeeting in the crowd with the kids he had the yeet glasses on he had the green and the bright colors and everything and then this goes down i mean you know it's really really interesting jay uso like he has this thing where he gets kind of his mind lined up like for a while it was like he didn't even want to it didn't even seem like he wanted to see his brother jimmy and then all of a sudden he and jimmy are completely on the same page we have the old usos back and then and and And it seemed like that up until the referee counted three and LA Knight got his hand raised.

44:19And then not only do we see this crash out at ringside, but then on the way out of the building, he's at first not responding to Jackie Redmond, which is a sin in WWE world. And then when he finally does, I mean, it was kind of, I mean, it was strange. It was not, it was very unexpected for Jay to once again be talking about the voices that are talking to him. You know what I mean? All the voices in his ears. Everybody who's in his head. His cousin. Right. His brother. But I thought that had kind of chilled out. I thought so too. I thought Jay had figured that out. He had sorted out who he was.

44:56He had stopped taking everything so personally and thought, you know, I'm Jay Uso and I won a World Heavyweight Championship as the single star that I became by myself. This is what worked. This is who I'm going to be. But now we have the questions again of will that work, right? You know what it makes me want to do? It makes me want to go find Jey Uso and pull up the video of our conversation with Scar, with Charlotte Flair on the Survivor Series recap podcast. When she talks about, you know what? You don't have to be perfect. You just go out there and be you. Everybody loves Jey Uso. Yeah. I can't believe that we're stuck in this place again.

45:36And then on his way out, he said, Roman was right. First of all, like Roman's back in the head, Roman's back in the head. and Roman's like, bro, like this isn't, I'm not doing this. He said, Roman was right. The championship does look better on his shoulders, not mine. And you're like, come on, dude. What are you saying? Everybody wants Jey Uso to succeed. And by the way, like when you look at this calendar year, we were talking about the first raw of 2026. Around this time of year is when you start kind of looking over 2025 and what the whole thing was. you're talking about a guy who won the Royal Rumble last eliminating John Cena.

46:16You're talking about a guy who won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. You're talking about a guy who got the pinfall victory in a tag match with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. You're talking about a guy who had 45 ,000 people yeeting alongside of him in a War Games match in San Diego. Like, how can you have this year that Jey Uso has had and still be throwing tantrums when you lose a match i mean you look back on the year that jay usos had and it's completely his career has completely transformed from where he was 365 days ago last december 100 to this december he's a completely different superstar but for some reason we're watching jay in real time figure out if he can stay at the top now that he's gotten there but we all believe it yes but jay doesn't quite believe it fully.

47:11It's like the opposite of LA Knight, the conversation that we just had about LA Knight going, no, it has to be blind, what did he say, idiotic faith at times in myself? Yeah. And we saw Jay have his doubts on the way to WrestleMania, but he overcame that. He's overcome it all. Every time he has his doubts, he overcomes it, right? He wins the Royal Rumble, he has his doubts on the way to WrestleMania, he overcomes and he wins. Then he loses it, he has his doubts about whether or not he still belongs in that title picture, that main event scene, he overcomes it, and he proves to everybody yes he's a changed performer he belongs in the main event discussion and still like you don't win the cena tournament and you go crazy there's 15 guys that aren't going to win the tournament i know one will win there's 15 people that won't win how you think zach rider feels he was out round one sucks he's not tipping over hydration stations woo woo woo you know what i mean woo woo woo so it was tough to see and then i'll tell you you talk about you talk about the the the bloodline in that family you talk about jay us to talk about jay us's younger brother solo sokoa and i think that even though solo sokoa did not win tonight and gunther beat him and gunther is just a pro's pro gunther takes advantage of every situation that he's in i would call him an unstoppable force but i don't want to get la night upset again and you will he doesn't like it when you say that don't say that about him not Gunther but there was all this interference Talatanga making his presence known over and over and over again and by the way more power to him that's why he's at ringside I don't know it doesn't bother me but ultimately a distraction almost led to a double team that I think would have ended the match.

48:57Referee sees it happening. It backfires on solo. Referee's distracted. Gunther shrugs his shoulders, decides to go for the low blow. And you know what? That's a Gunther thing to do. Whether it's right, whether it's wrong, I am here to win these matches. This guy has used Tala Tonga the whole time. He's cheated the whole time. So guess what? That's how we're going to play. That's how we're going to play. Low blow, powerbomb, pin. But the amount of time, you go back and watch this match watch how long how much time in this match was spent with solo sokoa on the offense it was remarkable against somebody like gunther i think that this tournament combined with the survivor series five on five that happened on smackdown on friday i hope is opening people's eyes and reminding them of what a threat physically solo sokoa is solo sokoa is probably one of the most underrated superstars on the roster.

49:52He's only been doing this for, what, five years? He's been in WWE? WWE, yeah. And he and Gunter put on an amazing match tonight. Incredible. So Alex Koeh, I feel like in the last three or four weeks, has elevated. I think that's 100 % right. I think it's right. But we are left with Gunther and LA Knight, one-on-one. And I'll tell you, after talking to LA Knight tonight, there's no way. I mean, I want to run through a wall for that guy. I do, too. And you know what that makes me think? Gunther's going to disappoint us. Because Gunther is the reality. I feel so good about LA Knight winning this thing.

50:30He said everything he said. I was like, right on, dude. Well, and you brought up 2023 and John Cena and LA Knight. And I said, oh, wow. Yeah, this goes deep. Wow, I would love to see that. Oh, you would love to see that? Cool. I don't care. I'm Gunther. I know. Well, listen. Less fun, Gunther. Not that the Gunther before was fun. But this is even less fun. It's somehow less fun. Yeah. Not here for the fun. You know what is fun? All these collabs going on on WWE Shop right now. I don't know if you saw this, but John Geiger and WWE have teamed up for a brand new collab. Rey Mysterio is wearing it tonight with the three masks across the front.

51:04This collection is blending vintage energy, layered logo placements, and bold nostalgia into one disruptive collection. It's got the DX. It's got the NWO, those three Brahma Bulls. Bulls. That Brahma Bull shirt is an absolute classic. You can get yours now at WWE Shop and Fanatics, but this is not the only collab collection that's up right now. The Bape collection is up right now as well. Bape is, I mean, one of the all-time brands in streetwear. It is so cool as somebody that has been following streetwear forever to see Bape and WWE come together. But it's Bape, it's Complex, it's WWE, it's Tops, all combining forces on this brand new collaboration featuring an all new set of baby Milo tees.

51:53This collection includes some of your favorite superstars like Roman Reigns, like Cody Rhodes and the collection is available now on WWE Shop and Fanatics. These are cool clothes. Okay? Yep. When you see somebody like Dominic Mysterio walk around and you go, how do I look cool like Dominic Mysterio? That would be where I would start. Check him out now on WWE Shop of Fanatics Dominic Mysterio was looking super cool tonight Showing up in those gold glasses His hair is feathered as I've ever seen it But you know what made him look even cooler? The fact that Liv Morgan was by his side Oh by his side And then she slapped him again And just to remember when I slapped him Yeah I didn't mean it I didn't mean it You know what's really cool I think?

52:38I love that Dominic Mysterio left the John Cena side plate On the Intercontinental Championship I would definitely, if I won the Intercontinental title from John Cena, I would absolutely leave the John Cena side plate on. That's like, not only is it like, hey, here I am the Intercontinental champion, but I'm going to remind everybody who I beat for it. I took it off the greatest of all time. I mean, and then. Which also, by the transitive property, makes Dominic the greatest of all time. Of course it makes him the greatest of all time. I mean, it looks like John Lennon right there with those gold glass on.

53:12He looks like John Lennon. But let me tell you something about Liv Morgan. That ain't Yoko. Well. I don't think so. Well, listen, if it was Yoko, it would mean that Yoko would ruin the judgment day. And based on the way that Monday Night Raw went off the air with Raquel and Roxanne both holding the championships and Liv holding their arms up. Come on. It looks like she's not Oko-ing it up. That's right. I don't think so. I don't think so. plus I mean it's the coolest thing ever it really is it's the coolest thing ever so Liv Morgan I mean I would wear that photo just put the photo on a t-shirt yeah I would get it too and get it one of those three I would do it with the three the three phone do it three times like the collab I would even make it three times better I think it's a great idea uh so the judgment day comes out and Liv Morgan gets her own entrance the judgment day is back uh uh and And, you know, there were a couple of little moments in the promo, you know, when Dominic, first of all, the placement of the group, Dominic Mysterio and Liv Morgan standing in the front and the rest of the Judgment Day standing behind them.

54:20Well, to take it a step further, when they arrived at the arena, Dom and Liv in the cool convertible car. It was a lowrider. Yes. Lowrider. Like his dad used to drive. And then Dom and Liv get out of the car. They interact with the Judgment Day who were not in the lowrider whatsoever. And I was watching the body language. We saw Liv give Raquel a hug. She gave JD a hug. Former Women's Tag Team Champion. That's correct. And very good friend. She kind of gave Finn a handshake and Roxanne just a little nod. A little nod. I think she sees everybody. I think Liv Morgan sees everybody. But you see like Liv and Dom are up front standing in front of everybody.

55:01And while they're talking about what happened at Survivor Series, Dominic Mysterio at one point, you got to watch everything because everything counts. Dominic Mysterio is talking and he says, we knew that John Cena was aware of what the Judgment Day was going to do. And we knew that when the Judgment Day plans failed, we would have this up our sleeve. And when he said the Judgment Day plans fail, you saw for a minute, Finn Balor was like, what? What? You guys doubted us? Why did you think we were going to fail? Unfortunately for them, they did fail. So they were proven right again. Then Liv Morgan said, I can't help but notice, but ever since I've been gone, you guys have less gold.

55:45You're losing. What happened? And she's right. They haven't been getting along as well since Liv left either. Isn't it amazing what a difference Liv Morgan makes? Like instantly, you're like this woman who, by the way, when she first came in, she wasn't even welcome by the judgment day. I know. And you think about you think back to a year ago. Sure. Liv Morgan was not the star that she is right now. Like Liv Morgan has elevated so much. Two years ago, she just starting a revenge tour. Two years. She had no goals on the way to WrestleMania. Remember? No goals. Just Rhea. Just Rhea. And now look at this.

56:23She is the star. she's on the Wrestlemania commercials yeah and we saw the backstage interaction with Stephanie Vaquer looking at the women's world championship and just reminding Stephanie Vaquer in the world that she's back right now look she specifically said the judgment day is weak but don't worry because now I'm back on one end it's like oh great Liv Morgan's a great leader on the other end it's like that's not I don't want to hear that that's not good like if I'm the judgment day I don't want to be described as weak no and but here's the good news i'm back yeah they didn't exactly present as much excitedness right it's not like by the way i you you did go to northwestern excitedness they didn't um they didn't seem thrilled i will say no you're right you're right yeah excitement excitement was not exactly plastered all over their face thank you sam it's one in the same it is both work both of those are words and they both work Except one's not yet in the dictionary.

57:24It will be by next year. You know, they're adding new words. They put 6-7 in. They're going to put excitedness in next year. That's right. I think so. The Judgment Day, though, didn't exactly seem thrilled. Dominic did. Of course, Dominic did. Raquel seemed happy. She thinks she is. But it wasn't like a, yay, Liv Morgan's here to save us. Well, guess what? What options do they have? And I would argue that as Raw went on, it seemed more and more. It seems like Liv Morgan is focused on that singles women's world championship. And we'll get to the women's tag team championship scene because it was a wild scene to end Monday Night Raw.

57:59But I want to talk to you about these wild scenes. These wild scenes, they get captured forever. Thanks to Topps Now. We all love Topps Now. We all talk about Topps Now as an unbelievable Survivor Series war games. And as they always do, Topps Now is commemorating some of the biggest moments at Survivor Series. they're going to be releasing a men and women's war games card featuring the full teams, including highlight images from each match on the card backs. And wait till you hear this. You're going to need this one, I think. Liv Morgan return card. Liv is getting her own card from Survivor Series.

58:35Collector who buy the base card may also receive a short print card that features, there's an image variant. So if you get really lucky, you get the image variant. and it's a shot from the moment that she turned on John Cena. You mean the moment she paid off Elimination Chamber? Imagine having those two T.O.P.S. cards in your T.O.P.S. Now collection. John Cena turning on Cody, Liv Morgan turning on John Cena. I wonder if Cody has thanked Liv Morgan for that. I don't know. Speaking of Liv, by the way, she and Dom, oh, I got it, I got, are also on a dual card and lucky collectors who buy that card have the chance of a one out of one dual auto.

59:19There is a one of one dual auto signed by Liv and Dominic. We got to get that for the studio. My studio at home. No, this studio right here. We do need it. We need it. I'll wear it on a medallion like Logan Paul's Pokemon necklace. These cards, they're launching soon. so check tops.com and sign up for notifications so you don't miss him there will also be a John Cena solo card celebrating his final PLE and by the way this is great I mean we have our differences in opinion Becky Lynch we don't typically agree on she wants me fired but Liv and Dom can bring us together that's true and hopefully they're also going to bring together Raquel and Roxanne because at the end of Raw, you had this explosion.

1:00:08You had this amazing women's tag main event. Alexa and Charlotte versus Rhea and Io, and I was loving it. Loving it. Here come the Kabuki Warriors. Here come Bayley and Lyra. Here come the Judgment Day, and you realize how massive this women's tag division is really getting. But at the end of the night, it was Roxanne and Raquel who stood strong with the women's tag team championship. They hadn't won it. They were just holding it up just to get a feel for what it looks like. Liv Morgan enters the ring. Roxanne, realizing I don't have a leg to stand on here, I don't have a lot of leverage, hands the title over to Liv.

1:00:42Liv goes, no, you keep it, honey, and puts both their arms up in the air. I'm going to lead you to gold. And I truly do think that Liv Morgan is focused on getting the entire Judgment Day back to holding gold. If there's one person that can do it, it's Liv Morgan. Here's the problem. I think if anybody in that group doesn't hold their weight, Liv's going to drop them like a bad habit. She has to. She has high standards. I think she has high standards because, I mean, look at who she spends her life with. Dominic Mysterio. And that's tough for any man to be compared to Dominic. These two are running all of Monday Night Raw.

1:01:19You think so? They cannot surround themselves with losers. Do you think Liv and Dom have a shot of actually running Raw in 2026? Yes. Even with the Vision out there? It's tough. Even with CM Punk out there? It's tough, but yes. Wow. Well, I can't wait to see. I hope they go to Fanatics Fest.
