0:05Steph McMahon:My career has been a fight. A long, brutal, but necessary fight. I was told no more times than I can count. And every single time, I prove them wrong. I'm the cult of personality. I'm the cult of personality. The cult of personality.
0:26Megan Morant:WWE 2K26 pre-order now.
0:34Danhausen:Seth Rollins goes from having a vision to having an army. CM Punk does everything except apologize. Bayley is the number one contender for the women's intercontinental title. The Judgment Day has beyond fractured. And, oh, yeah, Dan Housen is on the show. This is the Raw Recap on WWE Now, a WWE and Fanatics original production.
1:07Danhausen:oh Megan where do we begin where do we begin like so many weeks I think we begin exactly where we ended I love that Monday Night Raw let me ask you this you sat with it for a week I feel like everywhere that I went over the last seven days when the conversation of WWE and professional wrestling came up people were talking about this face-to-face that we got last week between Roman Reigns and CM Punk and fans were asking in a real way did Punk go too far was that was the line about Roman's dad either out of line was it in bad taste was it uncalled for based on where the conversation had been before that line was uttered and tonight the chickens come home to roost that That is the conversation that permeates Monday Night Raw that surrounds CM Punk.
2:03Danhausen:CM Punk is aware of it. And the Usos are those chickens that came home to roost, first of all, after sitting with it. Because obviously we instantly react to what we see. These are all feelings.
2:16Sam Roberts:Emotion.
2:17Danhausen:But then you get home, you think about what you saw. Maybe you rewatch some of your favorite segments on Raw. How did the line last week that CM Punk said to Roman Reigns about Roman Reigns' late father, Sika, Wild Samoan, how did it sit with you?
2:32Sam Roberts:Look, I thought CM Punk won the war of words, but I thought it was a cheap win. I thought that CM Punk went to a place that maybe it wasn't necessary for him to go to. But then as I'm digesting throughout the week, I'm thinking about CM Punk's past. I'm thinking about Roman Reigns' past. And I do recall a time when Roman Reigns brought up Cody's dead father.
2:54Danhausen:Well, listen. I mean, first of all, maybe, but does one justify the other? You did it first, so I can do it second.
3:06Sam Roberts:To who?
3:06Danhausen:To who? Not to you.
3:08Sam Roberts:Yes.
3:08Danhausen:Not to you. I did it to Cody. That's Cody's cross to bear.
3:11Sam Roberts:And that was a separate set of circumstances.
3:13Danhausen:And you know what Cody did in response? he took the world title away from Roman Reigns he finished his story in a bloodline rules match in front of the final boss and all of Roman Reigns' family Cody Rhodes used that to take the WWE championship away from Roman Reigns the thing that defined Roman Reigns and to create this forever moment at Wrestlemania 40 I don't think that it feels like an excuse for CM Punk to say well Roman did it.
3:45Sam Roberts:Roman did it first.
3:47Danhausen:And it was, yeah, yeah. Two years ago to somebody else, Roman did it. So today I can do it. Now listen, I do think that CM Punk is an expert at pushing buttons.
3:57Sam Roberts:Psychological warfare too? Yes. Yeah.
3:59Danhausen:I've never seen anybody get in somebody's head and push buttons the way that CM Punk does. There is never, I mean, historically there's never been anybody that blurs that line more than CM Punk. There's never been anybody as you're setting up a wrestling match that you start to feel like there is real tension with like CM Punk. And I think that that's the expertise that he's drawing out. I think that CM Punk is aware that here is what has been established. And you're right about the Dusty thing. But I think even more so, what has been established is that say whatever you want about Roman Reigns.
4:36Danhausen:And CM Punk said a lot about Roman Reigns tonight as well. Yeah. Narcissistic. But when he says.
4:43Sam Roberts:Doesn't care about the business.
4:44Danhausen:Doesn't care about the business. Doesn't care about his cousins. That's where I go. I don't think so. I don't think that's true. Because if there's one thing that has bothered Roman Reigns always, if there is one kryptonite that Roman has, it's that you don't disrespect his family. It's the same way The Rock felt on the way to WrestleMania 40. The one thing you don't do is disrespect the family. I think CM Punk knows that. CM Punk was talking tonight about coming up and spending time with Afa, Roman's uncle.
5:16Sam Roberts:In Philadelphia.
5:17Danhausen:In Philadelphia.
5:18Sam Roberts:Not making much money, getting some gas money every now and then from Afa, getting a hot meal from Afa.
5:23Danhausen:But being around Afa, then being around his son Samu, and he even brought up Lance Anawaii. Like being around that family, he knows what that family is. He knows what he was doing last week.
5:36Sam Roberts:And I love when Punk did this, right? Because since Punk's returned at Survivor Series two plus years ago, we've seen a certain version of CM Punk. Now CM Punk brings up his history with Alpha, his history with Roman's family. And it does sort of paint the whole picture of CM Punk and how deep his issues with Roman Reigns go and how far back they stem.
5:58Danhausen:That's right. That's right. and just as he was saying, explaining, because he almost, he really did come to the ring with that awareness CM Punk did of how fans responded to what he said last week. He came to the ring with an awareness and he said he didn't know how the audience was going to respond to him in Seattle.
6:19Sam Roberts:And Seattle was singing his song.
6:21Danhausen:Well, it's tough with CM Punk. CM Punk is a huge star, one of the most popular superstars of all time. And when that music plays and CM Punk looks at his watch and tells you it's clobbering time, it's tough not to give him the benefit of the doubt. Yes. And also, I mean, of all people, to say, man, CM Punk said something that might've crossed the line, it's CM Punk. If you have ever been a CM Punk fan, all he's ever done is said things that crossed the line. That's his MO. Mm-hmm. And just as he's saying, though, So he lowered himself to Roman's level. Here come the Usos. Jackie Redman had talked to them backstage earlier than like two hours before Punk was even out there.
7:07Danhausen:And they said, you know what? Maybe we do have something to say about that. Maybe there is something that I'd like to say. And the Usos come out and they confront CM Punk. Now, I think Jimmy and Jay Uso were both pretty upset with Punk.
7:21Sam Roberts:Yeah, they weren't eating. No. I mean, they made their way to the ring rather quickly.
7:27Danhausen:Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. There was business on their mind.
7:29Sam Roberts:Yes, and Jay, I mean, we talk about Roman telling a story with his face. Jay had anger all over him.
7:37Danhausen:I mean, to the point where it looked like he forgot where he was.
7:39Sam Roberts:Yeah, it looked like there was steam coming out of his ears.
7:41Danhausen:Yeah, yeah. Vane's popping in his neck.
7:43Sam Roberts:I was getting a little...
7:45Danhausen:Antsy? Yes. Nervous?
Read the full transcript
7:46Sam Roberts:Yes, all of the above. Uncomfortable. Anxious?
7:49Danhausen:Anxious. and he's sitting there, you know, and Jimmy is always the cooler one. You know, Jay, whether it's for, whether it's glee, whether it's joy, whether it's anger, whether it's intensity, whether it's whatever, Jay leads with emotion, always has. That's one of the things that I think connects Jay so well.
8:07Sam Roberts:The audience responds to it.
8:08Danhausen:The fan base, yeah, I think that's right. And Jimmy is the cooler head. I feel like Jimmy is the one that kind of says, okay, here's the issue. Punk even called it out Jay came in hot Jay came in wanting an apology And I Man I don't know what Punk Was thinking When Punk goes Roman sent you out to do his thing He get like
8:34Sam Roberts:Again he's pushing those buttons Because he knows family
8:38Danhausen:And he's pushing But do you think Punk hates Roman So much And wants to teach Roman a lesson so much that he's able to take these guys who he says are his friends and use them as pawns? Because that's what you talk about, Roman being a politician and Roman being a chess player. It seemed to me like CM Punk was saying, my relationships be damned. I'm going to use Roman's cousins as pawns in this war against Roman Reigns. Or do you think that it's because he doesn't like Roman Reigns? Or do you think, I just thought of this, last week Roman goes to Punk my cousins tell me what you say in the locker room yeah that line I'd been really thinking about do you think Punk at that moment goes oh because here's the other thing about Punk he'll cut off a friend if he realizes this is not a loyal person yeah right do you think that the reason why Punk was not really in relationship saving mode tonight or even close to it do you think it's because he's using them as pawns against roman or do you think it's because that he caught he caught that shot that roman threw out there and he said huh huh
9:52Sam Roberts:is that what the usos are saying behind my back huh noted maybe they're not my friends noted do you think that that was it that's what i think yeah 100 yeah because that was a line that i think all of us were questioning like hmm are they really saying that right hmm right but or is
10:08Danhausen:Roman getting in Punk's head. You know, Jimmy took over and explained to Punk, you know, he said, I got respect for you, Phil.
10:18Sam Roberts:When he dropped the legal name.
10:20Danhausen:And we know that's what Roman was doing to get under. I mean, my son is nine years old.
10:24Sam Roberts:I perked up when Jimmy said that.
10:26Danhausen:Yeah, because my nine-year-old son is watching last week's thing, last week's interaction. when Roman starts calling punk Phil at nine years old he's going oh my gosh like he understands the level of disrespect that is happening and there's not an accident that Jimmy goes Phil we respect you oh really you respect me enough that you call me Phil on Monday Night Raw is that how much you respect me Jimmy and I'm going okay okay there's a lot
10:54Sam Roberts:it's like spitting on somebody's shoes
10:56Danhausen:it is and no I would never want anybody to spit on my shoes no I'd be so angry at them I go well that's one person that's not my friend I do I like my shoes I don't like other people spit on them You know That's when Punk starts to explain And it's really interesting Because Punk went on this Diatribe Where he said everything Except I'm sorry First of all he said I don't even think Seekin can hear us Anyway I'm not spiritual like that And it's like that's not helping bro That's not helping Like you were disrespectful to our family, something that you know we hold dear.
11:34Sam Roberts:Not only were you disrespectful to him last week to Roman Reigns, but now this week you're saying, well, he can't hear us. Right, exactly. I don't believe he can hear us. I don't believe he can see us. Why does this even matter?
11:47Danhausen:Right. I know you guys just out here because Roman told you. Instead of being like, hey, I acknowledge, for lack of a better term, that this is also your family.
11:56Sam Roberts:Hey, maybe I went a little bit too far. That's your uncle that I'm talking about, right?
12:00Danhausen:And this is a notoriously close-knit family that stays together. But no, Punk does everything. He says every word in Merriam-Webster's dictionary, except I'm and sorry. Won't do it. No. And then Jay, that's where Jay takes it back over and makes it like, no.
12:22Sam Roberts:You need to say you're sorry.
12:25Danhausen:This is what we need to hear from you. and punk oh punk oh the button pusher that he is he goes for that you know embrace before he says the words he gets the embrace then he says i'm sorry but for or that's it i'm sorry for i'm sorry that roman reigns doesn't respect you i'm sorry that i'm sorry and then he called that Roman Reigns treated you so poorly during the whole rise of the bloodline and has you two convinced that you still have to come out here and be as young boys. And it's like, dude, to look at the Usos who are the most, I mean, they've multi, multi, multi, multi, multi-time world tag team champions, okay?
13:17Danhausen:Redefine the tag team division. Took the tag team championship brought it to the main event of WrestleMania. Split up, Jay becomes the world heavyweight champion.
13:29Sam Roberts:At WrestleMania. At WrestleMania. Making Gunter tap.
13:32Danhausen:He has worn the same title that CM Punk is wearing. The Usos are absolute legends that stand on their own, and CM Punk called them young boys to their faces. And so, I mean, this didn't feel like WWE. This didn't feel like wrestling. this felt like public school in new york jimmy usso just punched him in the face jay and that was all it was it wasn't a pull-apart brawl it wasn't it was jimmy usso going oh really jay pushes him and then boom just a punch punched him right in the face and i love punk's facial expression after jay usso punched him in the face i mean he's sitting there you know almost with a smirk right earned it yeah he earned it he was asking for that yeah i had it coming i'm willing i'm i'm okay with it yeah punch me in the face i'm keeping this title and i'm going to drive you guys crazy people ask the question cm punk said what he said last week we have all these weeks to go until wrestlemania if he's already gone this far where is it going to go from here we're going further we are already seeing the evolution what does this family what does this Samoan dynasty look like as we get closer and closer to WrestleMania, especially with Roman Reigns back next week.
14:55Danhausen:Before we get to everything else that went down on Monday Night Raw, this episode is brought to you by WWE 2K26. 16:36Danhausen:uh also exciting was tonight opening the show adam pierce opens this show and one thing you know for sure is when adam pierce asks for something that's exactly what we're not getting on monday night one thing we know is that if adam pierce scrap daddy shows up in that ring and says this is what i want to happen we know that's the one thing that is definitely not happening on Monday Night Raw.
17:06Sam Roberts:A thousand percent.
17:06Danhausen:There's no way. It's just not going to happen. Hey, Seth, I'd like you to please stop wearing a mask. Seth's like, what if me and also 180 other guys were wearing masks?
17:16Sam Roberts:I love it because at the beginning, like a couple of weeks ago, right, when more masked men started appearing, you were saying, oh, I don't know, WWE shop must have got all these masks, mask outfits, but I'm not kidding. Seth Rollins is...
17:28Danhausen:He bought a gross of them.
17:30Sam Roberts:Docked up.
17:31Danhausen:A gross of masks. I mean, it was so crazy watching this all happen and watching these masked men just appear from every side of the arena.
17:41Sam Roberts:Were you immediately doing like in the Santa Claus when they have everybody line up all the Santa suits and you're trying to recognize which one's which?
17:49Danhausen:Which one is the actual one?
17:49Sam Roberts:I'm trying to figure out which one is Seth Rollins. I'm like immediately body scouting, looking at all of the eyes. Where is Seth? Where is Seth? As they all start moving, I'm analyzing their moves. Which one is Seth?
18:00Danhausen:and they all move so fast and then they start mixing each other up on purpose like somebody's like shaking them all together like moving as one for Seth Rollins I mean in my mind I go okay Seth Rollins has been stripped of the vision he got beaten out of it I thought he's coming back with no friends I didn't realize that this dude when he says he's a visionary when he says he's a guy who can assemble a group we have seen seth rollins assemble multiple groups throughout his time in the wwe there's a reason they call him an architect the one thing i didn't see coming was that he would just show up with i mean dozens and who knows how many there actually are of anonymous soldiers i mean this is like this this is like the dark knight rises yeah and seth is just staring at one of them going they're gonna expect one of us in the wreckage brother so one of us is gonna have to go down all these the these men are willing to go down for Seth absolutely this army to to give up of the vision to come back with a full army by your side is is amazing I thought Seth was gonna have an uphill battle to climb but Seth returns to a WWE where the vision has been lessened in terms of numbers yes there's only two left on the show and Seth
19:23Sam Roberts:didn't even have to take him out.
19:25Danhausen:Well, he took out Heyman.
19:26Sam Roberts:Yes.
19:27Danhausen:He took out Heyman, that's for sure.
19:28Sam Roberts:Took out Heyman and then LA Knight kidnapped him.
19:30Danhausen:LA Knight kidnapped him. That was very, very helpful. He did a Grand Theft Auto too. But, I mean, he's got, you could bring back every member of the Vision that's ever existed. Seth Rollins still has the numbers. Like it is a wild thing seeing on this show the Vision that has always played the numbers game, always played the numbers game, always played the numbers game. that's the one game they can't play anymore. Now Seth Rollins doesn't appear to be aligned at all with the Usos or with LA Knight. Whatever that problem is with the vision appears to be a separate problem than the Seth Rollins problem with the vision because the vision comes out going after Seth Rollins and they can't get him because they don't know where he is.
20:12Danhausen:There's all these anonymous masked men just existing. These people just exist to cause confusion. so that you can't get your hands on Seth Rollins. Adam Pearce is telling you what Seth is doing is unacceptable. Seth is not medically cleared. He's saying that, Seth, you've been successful this time, you were successful that time, but at some point you're not gonna be successful and then there's gonna be no more Seth Rollins. And Adam Pearce can say that all he wants, but when you got 30 masked men watching your back, willing to do anything for you, who don't even prioritize having an identity for themselves.
20:56Danhausen:They exist to protect you. It seems to me like if I were picking one guy's plan, I'm picking Seth's plan.
21:06Sam Roberts:Yes, without question.
21:08Danhausen:Yeah.
21:08Sam Roberts:I mean, Seth is more than prepared, right? Yes. Has all of these people working on behalf of him.
21:13Danhausen:Yes.
21:14Sam Roberts:Protecting him, doing whatever it takes to make sure that nothing can happen to Seth Rollins. Right. And then when Seth Rollins eventually does take off the mask, oh my gosh, all of Seattle singing his song.
21:27Danhausen:And they went nuts for him. Insane. They went absolutely nuts for him.
21:32Sam Roberts:I mean, I assumed Seth was one of the masked men.
21:36Danhausen:I would hope.
21:37Sam Roberts:And when the masked man stepped forward, that was Seth, unveils it, the reaction was unmatched.
21:44Danhausen:They erupted. Yes. They erupted for Seth Rollins. He's got them in the palm of his hand again. Seth Rollins, as much of a pedestal as that guy is on, he's still grossly underrated.
21:56Sam Roberts:Yeah.
21:57Danhausen:It's wild. And I think a lot of people feel like they know kind of where this is going.
22:08Sam Roberts:Yes.
22:09Danhausen:But every time Seth shows up, it goes in a different direction. Nobody can quite pinpoint where this is going to end up. You kind of get around, but nobody can get that specific pinpoint on where this is going to end up. Seth and the masked men disappear. Now here comes L.A. Knight, who's got a problem with Logan Paul and with Austin Theory. They attempt to use the numbers game against L.A. Knight, but then here come the Usos. And once again, the numbers game isn't working in the vision's favor. And at a point, you've got to ask, like, what's the vision? it was so clear a month ago
22:50Sam Roberts:I mean what's the vision without Bronson Reed and without Braun Praker and without Paul Heyman but last week when Paul Heyman was around I said oh maybe the vision is Logan Paul and Austin Theory now that Paul Heyman's gone I have that question what's the vision
23:06Danhausen:and here's the question is there a focused vision or when it's Logan Paul and Austin Theory is it the blind leading the blind? Who is running things? If it's Logan Paul, is he ready? Is Logan Paul there? I know the point of the vision is that he's getting there and he's going to get there. Is he there now?
23:31Sam Roberts:We've seen it in matches, but is he there to lead a group?
23:34Danhausen:Great matches.
23:35Sam Roberts:Great matches.
23:36Danhausen:That's not what I'm talking about.
23:37Sam Roberts:We're talking about leading.
23:38Danhausen:Being the future.
23:39Sam Roberts:That's right.
23:40Danhausen:Being the guy who's in control of the show. From the beginning of the vision, It was all about getting Seth Rollins the title because with the title becomes the power of being the guy in charge of the show and being the guy in charge of the company who can shape the company into the vision.
23:55Sam Roberts:Which is the vision.
23:56Danhausen:Of the future. Yeah, we're saying the same thing.
23:58Sam Roberts:The vision of the future, yes.
23:59Danhausen:Right. Is that there right now?
24:05Sam Roberts:Right now? Right now. I don't think so.
24:08Danhausen:Well, I think there's a lot of visions for the future and a lot of people are trying to figure out exactly what they are. Some are more confusing than others. I'm very happy because today on WWE Now, we have scored the very first interview since his arrival in the WWE, being born out of a crate with Dan Housen. We go now to our guest on this week's WWE Now Raw Recap. this is very exciting welcome to wwe now for the very first time the one and the only dan hausen dan hausen how are you i'm very nice very evil how are you i mean i can speak for myself i'm great megan fantastic that's great that's great dan hausen how has life been it's been you know a couple of weeks now in the wwe how are you getting used to how are you getting
25:10Megan Morant:used to wwe live ah it's been great it's been very busy i've been uh i am a what is it monday night raw legend and i am a friday night smackdown legend so it has been quite nice i've been very busy very evil i have been uh top of the merchandise sales who the thoughts well dan housing would have and uh you know i've been cursing some foes and i've been trying to make some friends, but we're seeing how that goes.
25:36Danhausen:Yeah. I mean, look, that could be, that could be tough anywhere you go. Do you find that, that without a specific home, you've, you've popped up on raw, you've popped up on SmackDown, you've popped up on elimination chamber. Do you feel like the general managers are courting you? We've been seeing a lot of that lately with free agents.
25:53Megan Morant:What do you mean? Sending me to jail?
25:55Danhausen:No, no, not like a, not like a legal court. I meant courting like, uh, like wooing you, like wooing you. Right.
26:02Megan Morant:Yeah. Wooing me. Yeah, I like that. That's nice. Yeah, they should give me championships if they want to do that and more money. And also, I've already said this, but I need my face on the side of the trucks.
26:12Danhausen:Yeah, you did. Well, yeah, the list of demands as I have them, and tell me if I'm missing anything, is face on the side of the trucks, a championship of some type, a blimp, a personal camera boy. Yeah, and assistant.
26:28Megan Morant:Do not forget that.
26:29Danhausen:And assistant. And Hall of Fame this year, specifically.
26:33Megan Morant:Dory, of course. We've got Demolition. We've got Stephanie McMahon. We've got AJ Styles with his beautiful hair. What more could you ask for? Dan Housen, that's what.
26:41Danhausen:I understand that you got your finger point picture with Triple H. What was the – I think. What was that interaction like?
26:49Megan Morant:I think he didn't want to be cursed, so I think he just gave in immediately. Someone probably gave him the heads up on what would happen. He also probably watched Monday Night Raw and saw what happened to Dominic.
27:01Danhausen:Yeah, that did. That did follow Dominic Well listen Yeah He lost the championship which I didn't think he was ever going to lose the championship But the curse
27:12Megan Morant:He did it to Peter He does that He does
27:17Danhausen:He'd probably appreciate you doing that too Yeah I think so After you did curse Dom Obviously you didn't get along great with the judgment day You then went over to Smackdown and it looked like you didn't curse The Miz, you threatened to curse The Miz. Do you feel like there could be something building? The Miz as your mentor, is that a potential reality?
27:43Megan Morant:Well, yeah. Speaking of reality, he had a reality television show, and Dan Housen needs his own reality television show or a cartoon or something, but I think The Miz can help Dan Housen. I don't know if you know this. He's very famous. He has won about 47 championships in this company. I think all of them. He's main evented WrestleMania. He has defeated the tip top of superstars. So who better to learn from? Who's to argue with Dan Housen about this? He has everything. He's done it all. Who better to teach Dan Housen how to become, I already said I was a legend, but even more legendary.
28:22Sam Roberts:Hall of Famer. Hopefully. Hall of Famer. Maybe this year.
28:26Danhausen:Two months, like a month and a half. Six weeks. You say maybe? You said maybe and Megan said maybe.
28:32Sam Roberts:I said maybe this year. I was the list of demands, but I don't know if there's an update. Like, has the blimp arrived yet? No, not yet.
28:38Megan Morant:I'm still waiting for it. But what else? Please don't curse me. I will not curse you. We do need to get on this list, though, because there is more stuff that needs to be done that has not been done yet. And it's been a week.
28:52Danhausen:Yeah, I was going to ask you that. I mean, do you not find that patience can be a virtue? you know a lot of a lot of superstars it takes them many many years many years to accomplish these things and for you to just kind of show up a foreign entity to a lot of the wwe universe and just just kind of be demanding all this stuff feels a little quick no no i don't think so i'm dan housing i didn't think of that give me my things i want to be cursed no yeah see it's the thing you come in here you kick in the door you there's a new sheriff in town is what you say
29:26Megan Morant:And then you make your demands and then it already worked once. And I just need to get it to work about 10 more times unless I keep adding to this list, which I probably will.
29:35Danhausen:Yeah. Yeah. And obviously it's working as far as merchandising goes, which is, I mean, no surprise to any of us that have loved that Dan Housen for some time. That's true. I wanted to ask you about your debut. First of all, this crate shows up two weeks before the Elimination Chamber. Were you in the crate for two weeks?
29:56Megan Morant:Yeah, well, absolutely. Where else would I have been? You know, someone else has shipped themselves across the sea. There was the coffin in the crate as well.
30:05Sam Roberts:How was there enough room? There was a coffin inside the crate as well. And then there were several dancing women. Was everybody in the crate the entire time?
30:17Megan Morant:Lime. Lime.
30:21Danhausen:Next question. He didn't like the question. He didn't like the question. I've got to be careful.
30:26Megan Morant:Yeah. Yeah.
30:28Danhausen:You have been a bit of a, a bit of a hard nose reporter on this one, which how did you feel the next question? How did you feel the, the, the Chicago crowd responded to you?
30:39Megan Morant:Oh, it was thunderous applause. It was great. I came out and they yelled, yes, finally Dan housing has arrived. And I could hear each and every one of them hop off their seats and get up and applaud and say, up yours, Dracula. Dan housing did it first because Dan housing, shipped himself in a crate across the seas first, but it was to WWE. It was not the last voyage of the Dementor or whatever it's called.
31:02Danhausen:Were you surprised that Michael Cole didn't quite know what to make of you giving him that jar of teeth?
31:09Megan Morant:Well, you know, I don't expect everyone to get it right away, but I was quite rude to Mr. Wade Barrett. I had some bad news for him, if you will. I will. I said, I don't have any gift for you up yours. I can see But I gave it to Michael Cole because he's been around for a long time He's earned it He's earned it and I hope he uses it well
31:32Sam Roberts:Do you carry those teeth with you Everywhere you go?
31:36Megan Morant:Yes, but unfortunately not right now They're in the other room
31:41Danhausen:You've put me on the spot Too many times This is very gotcha journalism on your part
31:46Sam Roberts:I wanted to know about the teeth You've been bringing up the teeth
31:50Megan Morant:Some sort of headline Gotcha Yeah.
31:53Danhausen:That's right. What are they called? Clickbait. Megan loves clickbait. No.
31:57Megan Morant:That's it.
31:58Danhausen:Yes. Clicky. Yeah. Danhausen is, I mean, he's a little too smart for your gotcha journalism, Megan. He's been around the block a couple of times.
32:08Megan Morant:True.
32:09Danhausen:Where are you from, Danhausen? Where are you? Where's, what do you got there? Look how powerful. Oh, yeah. It's my eyebrow. Wow. It's very long.
32:15Megan Morant:It is where I get all my power.
32:17Danhausen:You have one? I got an eye. Yeah, I got a couple. So where are you from? You said they shipped a crate. Where did the crate come from? Where do you make your residences?
32:26Megan Morant:None of your business. What do you want, fans showing up at my house? That's a fair thing.
32:30Danhausen:You're going to show up at my door, ask for an autograph, Sam? No, I wouldn't do that. I didn't mean to dox you right here in front of everybody.
32:36Megan Morant:I'm trying to, though. I'm from someplace far away, and that's all you need to know.
32:40Danhausen:Do you reveal your age?
32:45Megan Morant:Well, you know, I'm about 22. 22 years young. 22 years. Cry young man here.
32:52Danhausen:I didn't know, and that's the thing I mean, you move and act like just a kid from the block, but you never know you could be a thousand years old, like Dracula you know, I feel like people don't know Jenny from the block Yeah, that's right
33:05Megan Morant:Less like Dracula, more like Jenny from the block
33:07Danhausen:That's right, that's right Did it bring a warmth into your heart when Triple H tweeted out the phrase welcome to the big dance housing
33:17Megan Morant:Yes, and then I replied, it's time to play the game housing Yes you did
33:23Danhausen:Do you have As a wrestler Do you have goals In the WWE or is it more Are you more demand oriented than goal oriented
33:33Megan Morant:No no I've got goals I need to be on Wrestling Mania Also I hear about This money in the bank briefcase And I think That's a nice little bonus Because you open it up it's full of cash I would presume So I really want to win that guy because then it's like a bonus payday for Dan House. It's filled with money and then I can go spend it on things. You can buy PT Cruisers and all the likes.
33:57Danhausen:I forgot about your PT Cruiser. Do you want to tell them about that?
34:01Megan Morant:You know, they're fast like a Corvette.
34:03Danhausen:Yeah, but they're... I don't know if it... You want to tell them about the briefcase?
34:08Sam Roberts:There's not cash in the briefcase. I don't believe that for a second.
34:12Megan Morant:It's called money in the bank briefcase. That is right. There's got to be something, Nate.
34:15Sam Roberts:But there's a contract in there that you can cash in for a championship opportunity. You cash it in, you take it to the bank, and you say, give me my money. Yeah, that's right.
34:24Danhausen:That's 100 % right.
34:26Megan Morant:So we have championships, WrestleMania, money in the bank. I think that's good goals. I would like more action figure, too.
34:33Danhausen:Oh, a Mattel, maybe an alternate. But that's not wrestling related.
34:36Megan Morant:That's just outside related. So I guess I did not answer your question.
34:39Danhausen:Oh, no, yeah. No, no, no. But you did answer the question. I mean, speaking of action figures, merchandise, things like that, when you're thinking about, I don't know if you're a big video game enthusiast, Dan Housen, but who would be your dream opponent or dream match if you could turn any WWE 2K matchup into reality? And can you kind of paint a picture of what that match might look like?
35:05Megan Morant:I think I'd like to team with Roddy Piper. Ooh. That would be good. Yeah. What are two bubblegums? and we're all out of curses or whatever he says.
35:14Danhausen:That's exactly it. We'll do that.
35:15Megan Morant:Cold Steve Austin versus Dan Housen in a hair versus hair match. Yeah, sure. I'll make him balder. That's good. I'll shave his goatee too. Wow. What else? We got Rock the Dwayne Johnson. Sure. I can beat him, I think. We can do the people's elbow, but we'll curse him first. We'll do the pose first and then the elbow. What else? We got Pepsi Phil, good old CM Punk. I think I can beat him and take back my finishing maneuver, which he's released the rights to. I've raised the rights back to him now that I'm here. Paid me a hectic fee. Ooh. Yeah, what else? I think I've list him off, wrestled some legends.
35:54Danhausen:Great. Yeah, no, I think that that all would be very good, especially with all the match types they have. It could be an Inferno match, a Coffin match.
36:03Megan Morant:Dan Housen, the powerhouse, versus Andre the Giant in an LMSL Inferno match. Oh, Thanksgiving's food street fight on SmackDown. Oh, I would love that.
36:16Danhausen:I would love that. When do you think we'll get to see Dan Housen in the ring? There was a bang and now it is frozen. Oh.
36:28Sam Roberts:Ask the question again. He didn't hear it. You got to ask it again because he didn't hear you.
36:31Danhausen:Dan Housen in the ring. When do you think we'll get to see you having a real match on Raw or SmackDown?
36:39Megan Morant:I hope soon. So far, I'm just going through and cursing some foes, trying to make some friends, possibly setting up some matches so I can win. And then that gives me more money. And then it gives me more likely chance to get on the truck.
36:54Danhausen:The truck is really – what is it about the truck that – is it just sort of seeing your face that large? Or why is that so appealing to you?
37:02Megan Morant:I think that's good because if I get on the truck and then people see me on a truck, they'll know who Dan Housen is. They'll take a picture of my face and Google me. And then also the truck, I should be on the sphere in Las Vegas The whole sphere The whole sphere should be Dan Housen And also in Times Square, we should have Dan Housen on every corner What are some other landmarks that I can put my face on? The pyramids? Pyramids?
37:28Sam Roberts:Maybe Mount Rushmore
37:29Megan Morant:Mount Rushmore, you can have Dan Housen to the side of it That's good, that's real good Put me on the New York subways as well so you cannot escape me
37:36Danhausen:Oh, that's smart, that's smart, you just never know
37:39Megan Morant:Put me on Big Ben and sometimes when it's this way, it'll look like a mustache. That's fun.
37:43Danhausen:That's a lot of fun. I feel like Dan Housen, it feels like the WWE universe has really started to come around on you and kind of get you. I think that the thing about Dan Housen is you're much more logical than anybody else is in terms of this world. Yeah, I'm really, really smart.
38:01Megan Morant:I'm a genius.
38:02Danhausen:Yeah. Yeah. Some would say a genius. I would. I would say that.
38:06Sam Roberts:I wanted to ask about the blimp. I found it particularly interesting because, you know, most people are asking for private jets. But why did you what is what's the fascination with with a blimp?
38:17Megan Morant:Well, I think it's giant. You can put my face on the side of it or the front of it with my name and I can go above sports events such as WrestleMania. And then, you know, everyone can see it. Private jet moves too fast. You need it slow because it's an advertisement for yourself. It'll help me take over the world.
38:38Danhausen:There's not that many people who have a handle on cursing foes and marketing.
38:44Megan Morant:Also, not that many people own a blimp.
38:47Danhausen:I would be one of the few.
38:48Megan Morant:Yeah, that's a good point.
38:49Danhausen:Yeah, that's a huge. He's that guy with the blimp. Lots of people have private guests.
38:53Sam Roberts:It's like good here and that's about it.
38:55Danhausen:That's it. Nobody else really at this point. That's a good business to get into, you know?
38:59Sam Roberts:Yeah,
39:01Danhausen:that could be very, very exciting. Well, Dan Housen, we really, I for one am thrilled that you are here, that you are in the WWE. It feels like you are already creating a whole new dynamic. The WWE, I think the very foundation of this place has shifted and changed since you arrived. I don't think we've ever had a force quite like Dan Housen in this company. And I think that it's for the better.
39:30Megan Morant:Yeah, creating a legion of Dan Housens, fan Housens of Dan Housens. That's right. That's right. I want more people to show up with Dan Housen face in the audience and chanting, we want Dan Housen. Every single time. And when Dan Housen's down on the screen, they ask, where's Dan Housen? It'd be great.
39:49Danhausen:So you're thinking that you show up and then when you're on the screen, people are happy. And then whenever Dan Housen's not on the screen, maybe everybody asks, where's Dan Housen? Yeah, where's Dan Housen?
40:00Megan Morant:We want Dan Housen. Something of that sort. They can chant it throughout the arena.
40:04Danhausen:It would be great. No, that sounds... Would you do that, Megan? Of course. Maybe on this podcast, maybe we'll come off the interview and say, hey, where's Dan Housen?
40:14Megan Morant:Yes, you should do that because I would be gone. That's right.
40:17Danhausen:Well, Dan Housen, we appreciate you being so generous with your time, especially when you're on your quest to, well, I'll get money and titles and Hall of Fame. Do you know before we let you go, if you are to be put into the class of the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame, who might induct you? Oh, my.
40:42Megan Morant:Let's see. I like The Undertaker. He looks pretty evil. I think The Undertaker would be good. He's also been handing out these congratulatory congratulations to people that they're in the Hall of Fame. so who better?
40:54Danhausen:That's a great point. That might actually be where you start. I would just start going up and down the halls looking for The Undertaker.
41:01Megan Morant:Yeah, maybe I should find where he lives and knock on his door and say, hello. Induct me. Maybe you'll knock on my door and just say, I'm here to induct you. I don't know. You'll never know.
41:11Danhausen:We won't until it happens and it's bound to happen. Yes. But who better? Who more evil? It'd be perfect. A lot of people might say you are like a modern day Undertaker.
41:23Megan Morant:Wow. I think he's going to beat you up for saying that, but I'll try to stop him. Thank you. Thank you very much. You're welcome.
41:29Danhausen:I appreciate that, and I appreciate you giving us this time here for WWE now. And, yes, thank you very much. You're welcome.
41:40Megan Morant:Thank you, both of you. And have a nice day. That's, well, you know, not my catchphrase, but have a good time. That's my catchphrase.
41:52Danhausen:Well, there you have it. Thank you very much, Dan Housen. And what do we always say?
41:56Sam Roberts:Have a good time.
41:57Danhausen:Have a good time.
41:57Sam Roberts:Have a good time. I'm having a good time.
41:59Danhausen:We have a new catchphrase. It's good because he's probably going to want more merchandise, more shirts, more monies. This is, you know, I mean, listen, Dan Housen above all else knows this ain't show friends. It's show business. We're here to make money. Did you see him trying to convince everybody at the merch stands today to buy Dan Housen merch?
42:17Sam Roberts:I did see that.
42:18Danhausen:Yes, he went up to the merch booths and made sure that this is what he's here for. He's here to be a star. And honestly, who's going to stop him? Who's going to stop him?
42:26Sam Roberts:Nobody. Not with blimps, not with his face on the truck.
42:29Danhausen:No.
42:30Sam Roberts:Hall of Fame this year. It's going to happen.
42:32Danhausen:You think it is?
42:33Sam Roberts:Why not? I think Undertaker's getting ready.
42:36Danhausen:Why not? You want me to answer?
42:38Sam Roberts:No, I don't. Okay. All right.
42:40Danhausen:Good for you. Good for you.
42:42Sam Roberts:Keep that one to yourself. All right?
42:44Danhausen:That's fair. That's fair. No, I asked you and you answered. Asked and answered. I want to tell you, though, We got a big special holiday coming up 316 day Is coming up next week and we are ready Wait till you see what I got for you I got my Stone Cold Steve Austin Action figure He's got the cooler He's got the adult beverages Look at this My Stone Cold Steve Austin mug
43:09Sam Roberts:You're going to be hydrated with that
43:12Danhausen:I got my blood from a stone hoodie Yes of course I got my blood from a stone hoodie You know that Look, Austin 316 shirts. Here's one for you. Oh, the best. I'll keep one for me.
43:22Sam Roberts:You think I'm a large? So offensive.
43:24Danhausen:All right, there's a medium. Oh, thank you. One for the crew. Everybody gets them. And the camo, too. Give the camo to the crew. Everybody gets it because it's 316 day. It's coming up next week, and we are ready. We'll be rocking our Austin 316 tees. Hell yeah. And you can gear up to it, WWE Shop or Fanatics. That's a very good impression. with the latest 316 Day items. Look at those new shirts. Available now. Also, aside from 316 Day, you can celebrate all your new champions at WWE Shop and Fanatics with the new Penta and AJ Lee replica side plate box sets.
44:04Sam Roberts:Why'd you point at me?
44:05Danhausen:They're available now, so grab yours today. I figured you would want the AJ Lee side plates for your Intercontinental Championship replica.
44:12Sam Roberts:I'm gonna keep the Becky ones.
44:13Danhausen:All right. Well, you can the rest of you. Meg is not going to do it, but the rest of you scoop them up now. WWE shop and fanatics. Of course, we saw that Dan Housen did indeed. We didn't we got into the overall cursing, but he cursed Grande Americano because Grande Americano didn't want to work with him. And so he cursed him. And all of a sudden that was original Grande Americano. All of a sudden it was contemporary Grande Americano. that shows up.
44:45Sam Roberts:I think he's just going by El Grande Americano.
44:48Danhausen:I know, but I call him...
44:49Sam Roberts:It's Original and...
44:51Danhausen:El. El. I call it contemporary. It's easier for me to remember. Contemporary. See, this is Original Grande, Original Grande Americano. He gets cursed. Now, I might have seen...
45:03Sam Roberts:I like that he tried to take off, Dan Housen tried to take off Original's mask.
45:09Danhausen:Right, right. Dan Housen talked about his mask.
45:11Sam Roberts:Yeah.
45:11Danhausen:I might have seen Rayo and Bravo Americano hanging out behind them, but I'm sure that's unrelated to the curse.
45:17Sam Roberts:Yeah, they're backstage. Right. They're at the show too.
45:21Danhausen:This is mainly curse related. So I don't know.
45:23Sam Roberts:100%.
45:23Danhausen:I don't know what happened to this Grinding Americano.
45:26Sam Roberts:You saw what happened last time. Dan Housen put a curse on somebody.
45:29Danhausen:Yeah.
45:29Sam Roberts:Wasn't good.
45:31Danhausen:Terrible. It's one of the worst things I've ever seen in my life.
45:33Sam Roberts:We're going to have to talk about that later too. Oh, we will. We will. We will.
45:35Danhausen:However, even with all that cursing, which generally we don't like cursing, but even with all that cursing, contemporary Grande Americano, unsuccessful, Penta after a fantastic promo, rallying the crowd.
45:53Sam Roberts:How do you not be behind Penta after that? You have to be.
45:56Danhausen:You have to have zero miedo. You have to.
45:59Sam Roberts:Yes.
45:59Danhausen:You can't have any.
46:00Sam Roberts:It's fired up. I mean.
46:02Danhausen:Retains the intercontinental title. Great match.
46:04Sam Roberts:Yes.
46:05Danhausen:Great match. with grande it was amazing but i don't know who's taking that title from penta i mean after that promo too forget it forget it uh but you are right i mean you brought it up the uh
46:19Sam Roberts:the curse that occurred last week yeah it's tough because dom's not the ic champ anymore
46:24Danhausen:he's only got one belt he's only got the one and it was kind of a tough night for your guy dom i
46:29Sam Roberts:actually i've been really excited to sit down and talk to you about this because i don't know how you're feeling about Dominic Mysterio after his actions tonight on Raw because he was sort of a spoiled brat.
46:42Danhausen:Based on what?
46:44Sam Roberts:Based on what he did to Finn.
46:46Danhausen:What did he do to Finn? Finn kicked him in the head.
46:48Sam Roberts:I mean, Finn was just trying to have an honest conversation with Dominic, was trying to give him some tough love, which we all need from time to time, just like Rey Mysterio was trying to do, having a parenting moment, deliver some tough love to his son that he's trying to help grow and blossom in this business. And Finn Balor also looking out for Dominic Mysterio. But Dominic Mysterio, no, no, no, no, no. He can't take criticism. He can't take tough love. What does he do? He fits and he moans and he pouts and he gets help from his friends to beat up Finn Balor.
47:28Danhausen:Who is Finn Balor to Dominic Mysterio?
47:31Sam Roberts:It was supposed to be his brother, his family member, but I guess that means nothing for Dominic Mysterio.
47:37Danhausen:They are in the Judgment Day together.
47:38Sam Roberts:They're Judgment Day family.
47:40Danhausen:Who is Finn Balor to act like he is some kind of mentor, father? Why is it that we just...
47:47Sam Roberts:I mean, Finn Balor changed, you know, arguably the entire industry.
47:52Danhausen:Okay, does that mean he can go around telling everybody how they should live their lives? He's a great wrestler.
47:57Sam Roberts:He's looking out for Dominic.
47:59Danhausen:You go and be like, oh, now that I'm a great wrestler.
48:01Sam Roberts:Don't you tell your brother, like, hey, bro, I'm looking out for you? Every now and then. Maybe not every day. Every day it's nagging. But every now and then you got to deliver some tough love.
48:09Danhausen:Can you imagine if I walked into that control room right now with our producers and started talking to them like I was their father? Here, I'm here to give you some tough love. They'd be like, hey, how about you get the you know what out of here? Okay? This is disrespectful what you're doing. You have crossed so many boundaries here.
48:23Sam Roberts:And then the whole control room would beat you up?
48:25Danhausen:They should. if I walked in there like I was their dad. Yeah. I would hope that the whole control room.
48:30Sam Roberts:With the 619 with the hammer and the foot. Yes. That's what they should do.
48:33Danhausen:KC McDonough. He would go in and they would all, yes, they would all destroy me. Yes. Yes. And they should.
48:39Sam Roberts:And you would think that you deserve it. Because I've overstepped boundaries.
48:41Danhausen:Because I've way overstepped boundaries. We literally just had a conversation about CM Punk bringing people's family into it. Finn Balor bringing up Dominic Mysterio's father who Dominic Mysterio has, in a very raw, emotional way, been open about the fact that he did not have a great childhood. So tough. He had to grow up with a DB dad. You know what that stands for?
49:12Sam Roberts:Deadbeat dad.
49:12Danhausen:So you heard it too.
49:14Sam Roberts:I did.
49:14Danhausen:That's exactly right. So you know that it's true. You said deadbeat, not me.
49:19Sam Roberts:From Dominic's perspective, it's a deadbeat dad.
49:22Danhausen:Well, I would imagine he's the one who's the son of him.
49:24Sam Roberts:I mean, there's also the argument to be made that maybe Dominic's just a spoiled brat.
49:30Danhausen:Were you there when he was growing up?
49:31Sam Roberts:No, I wasn't.
49:32Danhausen:Okay, cool. Do you feel like if you were eight years old and your dad put your custody up in a ladder match against Eddie Guerrero, that you might have some childhood trauma? Do you think that you would do well with that? Or do you think maybe not?
49:42Sam Roberts:I saw Dominic on SportsCenter and he was talking about child abuse.
49:45Danhausen:Yes, I saw that too.
49:46Sam Roberts:I don't think it qualifies as child abuse if you're having a match.
49:49Danhausen:I think it was first take.
49:50Sam Roberts:Yeah, first take. I don't think it qualifies for child abuse if you're in the middle of a wrestling match.
49:56Danhausen:Okay, well, I didn't know. Now we're just picking out straws here. What I'm saying is Finn Balor shows up and says, you know, maybe your deadbeat dad was right. You're spoiled you-know-what. And it's like, number one, you're going to talk about my family? Number two, you're going to talk to me like I'm a child?
50:17Sam Roberts:Well, first of all, Dominic doesn't even have family because he left his family because his dad was a deadbeat dad and the judge today took him in.
50:24Danhausen:Thank you for admitting his dad was a deadbeat dad.
50:27Sam Roberts:So now he's turning on the rest of his family?
50:29Danhausen:No, his family turned on him because when he went to them for support, they just stood there. JD tried to help, but he said, hey, I changed my mind. I'd really like that hammer. Okay? I've changed my mind. I would really like to have the hammer. And like, if that's your bro, you're just like, look, okay, fine. I'll give you the hammer. You know what I'm saying? Like, be cool, bro. That's what you would do. You don't go tough love. Can you imagine if your bro, first of all, I'm not your bro. But can you imagine if your bro was like, no, I'm not giving you the hammer for tough love. I don't want tough love.
51:05Danhausen:I want a hammer to retain this intercontinental title right now.
51:08Sam Roberts:He's supposed to be a homie.
51:09Danhausen:That's exactly right. I thought you were the homie. Go get that hammer real quick. And JD's like, say less. And Finn Balor's like, no, we're not getting the hammer. and he's like Dominic's trying to just hit Pento with a hammer real quick.
51:22Sam Roberts:So from your perspective, you think there was a little jealousy from Finn?
51:25Danhausen:It's very possible.
51:26Sam Roberts:Okay.
51:27Danhausen:It's very possible. There's a reason, Finn Balor wanted to teach Dominic Mysterio a lesson when the reality is, Finn Balor is a super cool dude, but you don't think hanging out with Dominic makes you cooler? I mean, I'm a super cool dude. If I was hanging out with Dominic all the time, I'd be even cooler. That's all I'm saying.
51:48Sam Roberts:To me, the most shocking point of the Judgment Day attacking Finn Balor was that even J.D. McDonough sided with Dominic.
51:55Danhausen:Well, let's not say the Judgment Day attacked Finn Balor because that's the way Michael Cole might have painted it on commentary. But he's got his own biases. And we all know that. I saw it in an award show ceremony one time. You can't deny that. I did. You can't deny that. I did see that. Okay.
52:10Sam Roberts:You know, it was an earned Bexie.
52:13Danhausen:Well then I'm saying maybe he's using If you believe in those biases Maybe they popped up here again Because last I checked There was just a little kerfuffle Maybe a little push Finn's the one who turned around and Pele kicked him He Pele kicked him? Can you imagine that? You're just kind of pushing back and forth And the homie Pele kicks you? Now it's on After he wouldn't give you the hammer? First he didn't give you the hammer to defend your title like a homie Then he Pele kicks you and it's like at that point bro once that Pele kick gets dropped now it's JD McDonough JD McDonough and he's going am I going to align myself with the family Liv is obviously staying with Dom
52:59Sam Roberts:has to
53:00Danhausen:Raquel is staying with Liv and Dom am I going to stick with this family or am I going to go with Finn who's over here so hard trying to teach lessons that he won't give the homie a hammer and then he just Pele kicked him and brought up his deadbeat dad like that.
53:17Sam Roberts:I think JD made a business decision. He's like, look, this guy's got a title. This guy has all the tricks up his sleeves. Amen.
53:24Danhausen:And he's got backup. Yep. He's still got Raquel and Liv. And if that is JD's prerogative, let it be. This ain't show friends.
53:32Sam Roberts:Show business, baby. Show business.
53:34Danhausen:Go where the money goes. That's where Dan Housen would go. By the way, where is Dan Housen?
53:37Sam Roberts:Where is he?
53:38Danhausen:I thought we should ask. I think that Finn Balor was more out of line I think that the judgment day Showed how strong they were by sticking together Even though they had a member that's Pele kicking other members I mean you could shove a member But Pele kicking That's craziness And now I think that Finn Balor is going like I hope you had a great time teaching a lesson Because guess what Now you're going to have to be taught a lesson
54:07Sam Roberts:So you think Finn Balor's going home tonight and he's like, oh, I have so many regrets.
54:12Danhausen:I have so many bruises.
54:13Sam Roberts:Well, yes, he's going to have bruises. Do you see that frog splash? Nailed it.
54:20Danhausen:Nailed it.
54:20Sam Roberts:Nailed it.
54:22Danhausen:I'm sorry. I shouldn't have interrupted.
54:23Sam Roberts:I don't think Finn Balor regrets the way he talked to Dominic.
54:29Danhausen:Well, I mean, he could talk to that with all of his friends, which is him alone in the car. That's who he could talk to about his regrets.
54:37Sam Roberts:I don't know if Dominic quite understands the Finn Balor that he's done this to. What about the Dominic that Finn Balor has done this to? This is a Dominic that's down a title and a Dominic that's cursed.
54:50Danhausen:But he's still got another. Oh, I forgot about the curse. The curse.
54:52Sam Roberts:Yeah, it's not good. Things are not looking good for him.
54:54Danhausen:How long are those curses? I didn't ask him. Shoot, we should have asked. That was bad.
54:58Sam Roberts:I mean, listen, it was on my list, but you were criticizing my question, so I was like, it's going to go off.
55:03Danhausen:I was just trying to win over.
55:04Sam Roberts:Shoot, we messed up.
55:05Danhausen:We should have found out how long the curses are. if we can grab Dan Housen back on the show next week I'd love to find out how long the curses are
55:13Sam Roberts:that'd be good yeah let's get him on
55:14Danhausen:we should really figure that out
55:16Sam Roberts:Dan Housen every week
55:17Danhausen:if you're talking about like a week or two WWE Now Housen I think the fans would like it yeah I mean listen it was really this is one of those things that we've been waiting for and has been hinted at but again very interesting it wasn't a judgment day collapse
55:36Sam Roberts:No. And for a moment, I thought it was going to be.
55:39Danhausen:And by the way, Finn Balor has been a part of the Judgment Day since Edge was there.
55:48Sam Roberts:Yeah. And now Dom's the only OG member left.
55:53Danhausen:And he wasn't even OG. He got brought in after that.
55:56Sam Roberts:Yeah, because it was Edge and it was Rhea.
55:58Danhausen:Yeah, Dom is the most senior member now.
56:02Sam Roberts:Yes.
56:02Danhausen:But he was brought in the group once the group was -
56:04Sam Roberts:I think it was like around Thanksgiving. Yeah, because it was, yeah, Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and Rhea Ripley was the judgment day.
56:12Danhausen:And then they brought in Dominic Mysterio. Dominic Mysterio now presides. And then he went to jail. After he went to jail. Well, yeah, he went to jail. And who locks their own kid up in jail? Isn't that the most disgusting thing you've ever heard? How mad would you be if your parents locked you up in jail?
56:30Sam Roberts:Okay, let's.
56:31Danhausen:Would you be mad?
56:32Sam Roberts:To quote Dan Houser. Next question. Okay.
56:36Danhausen:Line?
56:39Sam Roberts:You'd be mad. It was crazy, too, that the one question broke up. You couldn't even hear it. You had to repeat it. Had to repeat it. Nuts. Had to repeat it.
56:47Danhausen:By the way, by the way, we've been repeating this, and it bears repeating. The number one sports fan festival, Fanatics Fest, returns to the Javits Center in New York City from July 16th through the 19th. How many days? 26th. This time?
57:00Sam Roberts:Yeah. Four. Wow. Four days. Four days.
57:04Danhausen:And you might go like, what are we going to do over the course of four days? We're going to meet all kinds of superstars. Check. We're going to get all kinds of merch. Check. We're going to see live podcasts. Check. But Fanatics has also just announced the return of Fanatics games. Check. Bringing back its high stakes cross sports competition where everyday fans go head to head with some of the biggest names in sports.
57:28Sam Roberts:How much have they given out this year?
57:30Danhausen:I'm glad you asked that. They've got an expanded format.
57:34Sam Roberts:What?
57:35Danhausen:With$2 million. They doubled it. In the total prize pool. $2 million total prize pool and new nationwide qualifying opportunities for fans to compete alongside elite athletes. The inaugural winner, Tom Brady. Heard of him. I'm not familiar. As well as reigning fan champion, Matt Dennis. Now, I know Matt Dennis. Will be back. WWE superstars Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso will be joining the competition for a shot at the title. And if it's the Jey Uso that we saw tonight, he's winning the thing. Head to FanaticsFest.com to apply to compete or grab your tickets to Fanatics Fest.
58:19Danhausen:You don't want to miss out. It's going to be very, very exciting. Speaking of exciting, big gauntlet match tonight. Six-woman gauntlet match. AJ Lee showed up on Monday Night Raw last week and said she was going to be a defending. Now that she is the undisputed, unquestionable.
58:42Sam Roberts:For now.
58:44Danhausen:Clear, legitimate.
58:45Sam Roberts:For now.
58:46Danhausen:Dominant.
58:47Sam Roberts:I don't know. Dominant. How many defenses has she had?
58:50Danhausen:Well, she's going to have one next week. She's been shaming for a week.
58:52Sam Roberts:How can you be dominant if you've never defended it?
58:55Danhausen:Just the way she won it. Just by destroying the former champion.
58:59Sam Roberts:With a corrupt referee. Who has a history of corruption?
59:03Danhausen:Who was the referee?
59:04Sam Roberts:It was Jessica Carr.
59:05Danhausen:Oh, I didn't realize.
59:06Sam Roberts:Yeah, it was.
59:07Danhausen:I didn't realize. Crooked.
59:09Sam Roberts:Crooked Carr, they call her.
59:10Danhausen:Who does?
59:11Sam Roberts:Everybody calls her that. She won a Bexie Award, too.
59:14Danhausen:Okay. Well, I got two of those.
59:16Sam Roberts:Congrats.
59:17Danhausen:I'm not happy about that. It's an honor. No, I'm not happy.
59:19Sam Roberts:Do you know how many texts I got from people, like, congrats on your award?
59:24Danhausen:Had to be... Tons. No.
59:26Sam Roberts:Yes. A lot of people.
59:29Danhausen:About Bexie Awards?
59:30Sam Roberts:Mm-hmm.
59:30Danhausen:That's lame
59:31Sam Roberts:So proud of you Megan Keep it up It's inspiring to watch your work Got a lot of those texts
59:36Danhausen:Wow Did you text him back? I wish one of you would watch any of my marathons
59:41Sam Roberts:I just said thank you so much It's a very humbling, humbling award
59:46Danhausen:Yeah Who do you like text him back? You know I gave up a kidney Thanks for the backseat
59:51Sam Roberts:Thanks for the backseat No, yeah I mean it has to be in my life like backseat
59:55Danhausen:Kidney Marathon
59:57Sam Roberts:Marathon Yeah, in that order
59:58Danhausen:And then kid
59:59Sam Roberts:Yeah, and then my child.
1:00:01Danhausen:Your child. Yes. That's so great. I mean, that's so great. That's your top four for sure, though.
1:00:05Sam Roberts:Yeah.
1:00:05Danhausen:That's the top four.
1:00:06Sam Roberts:That's my mom Rushmore.
1:00:07Danhausen:Well, AJ Lee is defending next week. And to declare the number one contender, we had a gauntlet match. Six of the best women on the roster. So EO Sky starts the thing. Tough spot for EO, but I figured if anybody could do it, it's EO. Of course. So EO starts the match by defeating Lyra. EO keeps it moving by defeating Raquel Rodriguez. After Liv Morgan comes out to help Raquel, Stephanie Vaquer puts hands on Liv, distracts Raquel, EO is able to pin Raquel Rodriguez.
1:00:42Sam Roberts:But then Raquel snaps.
1:00:43Danhausen:Unfortunately for EO, yeah. Raquel takes her out, big time.
1:00:47Sam Roberts:Tohanna bomb here.
1:00:49Danhausen:Oh, yeah. Tohanna bomb there.
1:00:51Sam Roberts:Yeah.
1:00:51Danhausen:So much so that Ivy Nile gets in and is able to defeat EO Sky. I mean, that has to be, it's probably the biggest win in Ivy Nile's career. The biggest single pinfall in Ivy Nile's career.
1:01:05Sam Roberts:That's inarguable, yeah.
1:01:06Danhausen:To pin EO Sky, regardless of contact.
1:01:09Sam Roberts:Rhea Ripley hasn't pinned EO Sky.
1:01:11Danhausen:That's a great point.
1:01:12Sam Roberts:What?
1:01:13Danhausen:That's a great point.
1:01:14Sam Roberts:Like Ivy Nile has pinned EO Sky.
1:01:16Danhausen:That's massive.
1:01:17Sam Roberts:That is something that you should never stop talking about.
1:01:19Danhausen:And by the way, Ivy Nile came out looking like a million bucks tonight.
1:01:23Sam Roberts:And the strength on display. I mean, did you see that delayed suplex?
1:01:29Danhausen:Oh, yeah. When she had her up in the air. I mean, all the blood is rushing to her head.
1:01:34Sam Roberts:Yeah.
1:01:35Danhausen:Yeah. Unbelievable.
1:01:36Sam Roberts:She's strong. Bayley comes out and defeats Ivy Nile only to end the thing with Asuka.
1:01:44Danhausen:and after Lyra Valkyria comes out, stops Kyrie Sane from interfering. Bayley beats Asuka. We go to what, I mean, I would put it in the category of fantasy warfare. Bayley versus AJ Lee next week.
1:01:59Sam Roberts:That's a dream match.
1:02:00Danhausen:For the Intercontinental, Women's Intercontinental Championship. Just massive, massive, massive. You see her there. And Bayley, there were a lot of moments. I thought it was going to be Asuka. You did. I thought it was going all Asuka. I mean, to have Asuka out there in that moment, that fresh, in a match with this much on the line. With Kyrie, too. Right.
1:02:21Sam Roberts:And then Bayley solo.
1:02:23Danhausen:Right.
1:02:24Sam Roberts:Until Lyra comes out and saves the day.
1:02:26Danhausen:I wonder what kind of feelings there are going to be from Lyra Valkyria, who is obviously forever connected to that Women's Intercontinental Championship.
1:02:32Sam Roberts:She was the first ever.
1:02:33Danhausen:This is one of those tests. How loyal are you to the team? We know Finn Balor is not very loyal to his team. How loyal is Lyra Valkyria?
1:02:41Sam Roberts:Can she truly be happy for her friend Bailey?
1:02:43Danhausen:Well, Bailey said she might give Lyra a shot. Maybe it's worthwhile.
1:02:47Sam Roberts:Hey, Lyra better capitalize because we know if Becky Lynch holds the title, Lyra can't challenge for it. I mean, it's only a matter of time until the bulldog finishes up his business and all is right in the world. And that title is right back where it belongs.
1:03:03Danhausen:Unfortunately, Becky Lynch can't beat AJ Lee. Well, I mean, she doesn't.
1:03:09Sam Roberts:In any single context. It was because of the corruption.
1:03:12Danhausen:Tag team, war games, singles.
1:03:14Sam Roberts:The lawyers are working on it.
1:03:16Danhausen:It's kind of hopeless for Becky as long as AJ has that title.
1:03:19Sam Roberts:As long as AJ keeps bending the rules and taking advantage of situations like a crooked referee.
1:03:25Danhausen:You're not supposed to take advantage of situations to win matches?
1:03:29Sam Roberts:Is Jessica Carr really corrupt? This isn't in the courts for now. For now. I'm going to let the legal process play out. at this point I think I've said too much you know and that anything I do say could interfere with the investigation and I don't want to sway any jurors
1:03:50Danhausen:so you'd like to change the subject
1:03:52Sam Roberts:next question
1:03:55Danhausen:that's fair just don't want to sway the jurors no I wouldn't want you to be caught up in any
1:03:59Sam Roberts:you want me to interfere with the due process
1:04:01Danhausen:no I wouldn't want you to interfere with the due process I value it It's really important to the groundwork of society. AJ Lee versus Bailey.
1:04:11Sam Roberts:Is a dream match.
1:04:13Danhausen:Who walks out champion.
1:04:17Sam Roberts:Man, it's crazy because AJ Lee, right, coming back, first singles match in over a decade, first time holding a championship in over a decade.
1:04:26Danhausen:Beats the snot out of Becky Lynch. Sorry, the journey. And it's just, you wonder if this is, if she can follow it up, right? I mean, sure, you wonder, but it's like Wrestlepalooza. Can she follow it up? Okay, she did it at War Games. Can she follow it up? It is different when you're in a tag team match versus a singles match. I know, and then she did it in a singles match.
1:04:48Sam Roberts:And then Bayley is somebody who there is no question about it. We all follow the story of what happened to Bayley last year on the road to WrestleMania. She was set to have a match with Lyra Valkyrie at WrestleMania. You don't think that every single night that Bayley has put her head down on her pillow since being taken out of WrestleMania because of Becky Lynch. She hasn't thought about how to get back to WrestleMania. I think this is a Bayley who has had a lot of twists and turns over the last year, but she knows what time of year it is. She knows where we're at in the calendar, and she wants to be back at WrestleMania.
1:05:21Danhausen:We've also got, I mean, that's a great point. that she becomes a defending champion going into WrestleMania. That's the exact situation that you want to be in when WrestleMania is literally weeks away. We got Grande versus Grande next week on Raw, which is huge. I think Grande wins. Originelle or Contemporary? I'm putting my feet to the fire now. I don't know. I don't know.
1:05:45Sam Roberts:Well, I'm going to go with Contemporary because Originelle is cursed.
1:05:49Danhausen:He's cursed and also Bravo and Rayo. They like contemporary.
1:05:54Sam Roberts:Yes. Numbers.
1:05:56Danhausen:Then, of course, we've got Brock Lesnar back on Monday Night Raw. I mean, they say Paul Heyman's out indefinitely. Does Brock Lesnar show up to Monday Night Raw looking for somebody to accept his open challenge with no wise man?
1:06:09Sam Roberts:That would be insane.
1:06:10Danhausen:No advocate.
1:06:11Sam Roberts:That would be insane. But, I mean, who knows where Paul Heyman is? Who knows where L.A. Night probably does.
1:06:17Danhausen:Well, he knows where he dropped him off. He stole that ambulance that Paul Heyman was in. And then, of course, something I think we're all looking for is Roman Reigns returns to Monday Night Raw.
1:06:30Sam Roberts:So we get Roman Reigns back on Raw.
1:06:32Danhausen:Boom.
1:06:33Sam Roberts:Brock Lesnar's coming.
1:06:34Danhausen:Yep.
1:06:35Sam Roberts:Maybe. The question of Paul Heyman, who knows? We have an Intercontinental Championship match.
1:06:40Danhausen:Between AJ and Bayley. It's a loaded draw. And double grind day.
1:06:44Sam Roberts:And who knows? Maybe Dan Housen will be, maybe he'll get inducted to, He'll find out he's getting inducted to the Hall of Fame. You never know.
1:06:51Danhausen:You think The Undertaker might roll up on Dan Housen next week? Good. Stranger things have happened. It's a wild time. It's the road to WrestleMania. We will be here next week to break it all down. Make sure you subscribe across all audio platforms, leaving comments, hitting like on YouTube, and we will see you next Monday for more WWE Now.
