In short

Two hosts trade travel stories from Turkey and Japan, then recount awkward/sexualized incidents: a “health spa” where a tense German couple nearly escalates into a fight, plus a boat day in Kalkan dominated by an aggressively flirtatious woman (“gooch” jokes). They also debate usable slurs, discuss Japanese perceptions, and share shopping/food price shocks.

Guests

Mark Teacocks and Denis Lane (co-hosts). No other guests appear in the transcript.

Guest backgrounds (from context)

Mark and Denis are regular podcast hosts; Mark travels frequently and describes himself as having a same-sex partner and multiple Tokyo accommodations; Denis focuses on commentary and comparisons.

Key claims

Turkey bans vapes (can’t buy/sell); Japan’s spa etiquette is strict (quiet, nude, timed closing); Japanese “Instagram noses” are common; Japanese embassy access and Tokyo shopping were cheap due to exchange rates.

Notable examples

Proposal at a beach club; raw chicken and “no manager” at a Turkish restaurant; a Japanese spa locker-room confrontation; a boat where the flirtatious woman repeatedly faces/leans toward the hosts and even asks for a snorkeling mask.

0:00Denis:Welcome to this week's episode of Your Internet Boyfriends. Hello, Mark Teacocks. Hello, Denis Lane. This week we're talking about shark in the health spa, gooch in a boat and sexu sexu. And I'll be telling Denis all about the muscles of Tokyo. This show is part of the Headstuff Podcast Network. We're back, Mark. Hello. You're rested. You're full of rice. You missed me. I did miss you, in a way. I'll be honest, I didn't. I didn't miss anyone. Yeah. I really enjoyed not interacting with anyone for two weeks. They don't realise that episode last week was a fiddle. It was a big trick. It was a trick.

0:38Denis:It was a trick. There was only 45 hints from Mark that it might have been a trick in it. That was... Am I still in Japan? I got mixed up. I'm actually back. Now, today is the 14th of September. Should we tell them? Go on. And we are here. We're here. We're right here. We're with you. We're actually here. and well I'm here but I've not told anyone I'm here What do you mean? I've not announced my return Oh right Is your out of office still on in the Dawson scene? Well I have no job No I meant like the Dawson scene like they don't know you're around The out of office is on I haven't as of now it's what time is it?

1:124 o 'clock? 5 o 'clock? Yeah 14th I haven't posted on Instagram in two days

1:16Denis:Jesus Christ people will be sending out search parties for you There's probably an alert in the Met Police if your story doesn't get updated There's no alert no one cares as soon as you stop no one cares and do you know what it's lovely it's not bad is it I've eased away for a couple of days I haven't told them I'm back and I'm getting a lot done there's no hopping what are you getting done there's no I got up at half six I might be jetlighted I'd say you're in for a ferocious crash I'm very rested well you weren't that far there was a two hour difference where Turkey Turkey I was in Turkey. You were in Japan.

1:55Denis:Are they saying Turkey? Turkey, no. No one said it. No, no, no. That's not really caught on. It's definitely the spelling. They're definitely going for the spelling. Do you know why they did that? To not be... Not be associated with the bird. Oh. Isn't that strange? They just wanted to get away from being associated with a turkey bird. And here's a turkey fact for you. Vapes are illegal. In Turkey? Yeah, you can't smoke vapes. You can smoke as many cigarettes as you possibly can from the age of about three. But there's no vapes. It's illegal. Okay. You can only bring them for personal consumption and that's it.

2:26Denis:You can't buy them or sell them anywhere. Did you try? You don't. No, I didn't. But I just saw someone running down the street. This old woman. She goes, Vapes are illegal. She's from Cork. No, literally. She wasn't from Turkey, like. Oh. Just someone running after someone saying, Vapes are illegal. That'd really fuck you now. Yeah, would. Be in jail for vaping. But if you were addicted to the vapes and you went to Turkey? You have to get in the cigarettes. You'd be in a bad way. There's just piles. When you go into the shops, right, Because they're so cheap They don't have them Like locked away There's no like Advertising things There's nothing like that Yeah I went into one place And you know Like a deli fridge Full of Piles of fags inside now Oh Jesus All on top of each other Turkish ones No we know very well That's not what I said And they're cheap Yeah God You know what I was You know what I was thinking about The other day But not saying them in my head Yeah I was wondering In terms of slurs In the community Oh yeah What's your favourite slurs What's still usable And what's not usable Well you seem to use them all I do use them all Because there was a few Old fashioned ones Came into my head What was I Tease them We won't say them Seeking people guess Well I was I was singing a song Because I was waiting For a video to render And then I said I'm a big big And then filled in That last bit of the What is that a bad one Big big what Would it write If you're writing a poem It rhymes with like render oh a bender yeah that's nice is that but is that is that back is that or is that like which ones aren't which ones are still that's mild enough but it's the intention if you said that while you're punching someone in the face yeah yeah don't you know it's not the same while you're writing them it's kind of fun isn't it that's nice who's a big big bender oh

4:20ah Christ that one's okay

4:22Denis:Is that one fine? There's worse things being said in the world. I just got excited about it. I think you got excited. It's the alliteration of it. Yeah. It's the alliteration. But you couldn't be saying, like, I can't say the F word. I think that's too strong in any context for a straight man to be saying. Yeah, that's a big one. Yeah. Is there any other ones that you'd like to see kind of? I mean, they're all, if they're said in a jovial... No, in the jovial good context. In a jovial way. I mean, Puff is great. you know poof see that's an impossible one for me to say as well that's an impossible one that's very like English hooligan footballer kind of terminology some people love that have you ever seen Hung Young Brits no I haven't no what's that now is that a documentary a website they'd be saying things like that this is as your foot kicks the side of my pants sorry remember the dynamic been away a long time what's hung young Brits they'd put on an old jersey like a football jersey no trousers they'd dress up like lads we've had this conversation before right and I'd say it's probably a hill I'd be prepared to die on huh women put them in a football jersey no bottom half or anything like that oh you said that yeah look great man only wearing the top half?

5:50No, they'd have the little shorts. Looks arranged. Yeah, yeah. They'd have the little shorts and the shoes. And then but sometimes they'd be bullying each other and they'd be saying those words to each other.

6:01Denis:In what context? Is this like, I'm imagining a webcam at the moment. Like, where are we? It could be a webcam, yeah. It could be in the lockers after the match. Oh, but they're They could be picking on one. They're presenting us straight in the video, is it? Until they accidentally start writing each other. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That always happens. It's wonderful. Yeah, it's great. But they'd be calling themselves But that'd be a word, something like that. My mother had a piece of furniture. Oh, a puff? A puff. For the feast. And it would be bring over the puff. That was always funny in the house.

6:30You'd laugh at that.

6:31Denis:Well, she hated it. I don't know. Do you know, she didn't hate it, I don't think, in the defense of the community. I think she just hated that people were mocking her puff. Yeah. You know, bring over the puff. Did it match the armchair? Yeah, it was a three-piece suite. The whole thing matched. Any other ones you'd like? Slurs Yeah I'm just wondering what's What's out there at the moment What's fresh Yeah what's new What's new Or like you know There's Yeah I think it's on Sissy You know sissy That's nice That's a category Yeah Um Okay Sissy Sissy's a strange one Yeah Cause that That comes from Well it comes from being swishy.

7:19Denis:I think you can actually, I think that is like a gun pointed at yourself when you fire off sissy. What do you mean? If I called one of my friends a sissy. Yeah. It'd be like, it would almost backfire on me, do you know what I mean? Well, I don't know what, why would you be saying that? Nowhere, I wouldn't say that. Where are we going? Tell me about the Turkish people. The Turkish people are lovely. What are we talking about? The Turkish people. So much news. Come on, tell me about the holidays. I thought I'd derail us a little bit. Where were you? I was over in Kalkan. Right. I was over with all the retirees, all the rich Russian women who can speak about five different languages.

7:53Oh.

7:54Denis:Great place if you go over there and you've got the hair slicked back. Where are we now in Turkey? We're down about 30 miles from the border of Syria, I think. Are we on the coast? We're on the coast. Who's what sea? I don't know where it is. Is it the Aegean Sea or something? Right. It's a three-hour boat ride to Rhodes, if that gives you any sort of... It doesn't. So you know Turkey, like we're down, like if it's connected to Europe up on the top left, you're just following it all down the south until you get to like a peninsula down there. I've not, yeah. You know where Dalaman is? I don't know anything about it.

8:29Denis:Dalaman Airport, second most expensive airport in the world. Oh. So expensive. Can in Guinness, guess how much that is? Oh, do I mean, 15 pounds? 15 euros. Guess how much their local beer is? What are you drinking Guinness in Turkey? For God's sake. Guess how much local Efez is High or low? What do you mean? Am I going to be shocked it's high or high? You're going to be shocked it's 10 13 And I saw if I was buying it Who? Are they just Some lad Cheating tourists? No they're just these I saw a family go up to McDonald's I have the prices on my phone I'll boringly go through them I'd love it Do you want me to I'll compare with the Japanese Watch this Watch this right Is this your Revolut receipts?

9:15Denis:No, I took a bit. Oh my God. It is one of the most expensive holidays we've ever got on. Yeah. I wait to eat in a few times. I'll put it that way. Okay. All right. So how much do you think a hamburger is, or a cheeseburger perhaps? In a McDonald's? In a McDonald's in Dallaman Airport. So you're going to get a hamburger. It is in euros, by the way. Well, here it would be 550. Okay. So how much is it there? 9.50. 16 euros. That's delicious. No. How much do you think a double Big Mac is? I'm going on that now, 17.50. 23 euros. Stop it. Isn't that outrageous? You've been swindled. It's absolutely nuts.

9:52Denis:Do you know how much a Happy Meal is? 12.50. 14 euros. Isn't that bonkers? Did you get a Happy Meal? All right. What about you pick up an Americano for yourself? Where? In McDonald's. 4.50. 5 euros. And that was the cheapest place. Yeah. Every rose was 6 quid. I did a bit of an old man thing at one of the... At Gloria Jeans. Gloria Jeans if you're out there you're a disgrace we had a Gloria Jeans in Cork I think at one point Gloria Jeans you're a disgrace right their Americano was 8 euros oh and I was standing there there was about 16 people behind the counter no one buying anything and I said how much and he goes 8 euros and I looked at him and I said 8 euros for an Americano and then they do think I only work here and the new bosses so it was so bad in the airport that when we got on the plane okay when we got on the plane there was a member of the community as well I want to pick a bone with right yeah gorgeous looking man walking through the airplane right yeah with his trolley serving out stuff no food left chicken or beef no no food nothing or nothing oh because the last plane was so hungry from the airport that they ate all the food oh what airline this is BA no food complimentary no no buying it like there's no food there's no sandwiches or nothing left Those flights are funny How long is that?

11:13Denis:Five hours? Four hours When do they? Five and a half I think When do they start A complimentary meal Dishing out They couldn't dish out fuck all They had nothing Not a panini I was raging She got a packet of Mentos She nearly had a heart stack £6.50 Well it was cheaper on the plane But she was eating Mentos Of course someone also Forgot to check in so We were down at the back Of the toilets Oh Every person Every two seconds Going to the toilet Put them down Oh my God. So you had a great time. Great time. Woman changed her baby in the seat. Yeah. Not nice. Beside you. Not nice, yeah. Down the back, next to the toilets.

11:50Denis:She was next to the toilets and she changed the nappy. Oh. That was nice. We needed the Mentos then. Got you in bad form. No, actually in great form. No, actually in great form. The hair is luscious. Thank you, yeah. It's going to be shaped and styled now this week, I think. There's a lot of rumours. But what? Someone messaged me, actually, about her hair. Coming back from Turkey with a full head of hair I had a full head of hair going Well And I had a great smile as well Well Did you see a lot of that? Or are you in the wrong part? Saw a lot of noses Everyone over there had an Instagram nose A new nose I would nearly go as far as to call it a porn nose Describe it Very pointy Ski slope You know the one You see it on Instagram Small Very small Shaved down And you know I don't want to stand up here on my beautiful high horse but I thought I think there's lovely noses over there I think maybe we should leave the noses alone are people going there for a new nose no this was the people that were living there had the noses that's not mad leave your lovely noses alone what did you do we're going to look very strange in your 85 what do we do so sell me the holiday we had a beautiful holiday yeah it was absolutely beautiful how long 12 days or something oh fuck yeah okay how long were you in Japan 3 weeks but like that's Yeah, but we went over there to deliberately like rest and relax.

13:12Denis:So we went to this place and it was something like Mahala Beach Club or something, right? Okay. And we went down there and it was down by the water, right on the water. Oh, actually, I forgot to say this. So we're sitting down. It is a beautiful place, right? Lisa sits me down and she says like, wait, no, it's going to be a nice sunset. What drink you're going to get? Blah, blah. I was wearing shorts, right? And the little mozzies over there, they loved my Irish blood. So as she's like professing her love to me, there is a fucking fly eating the leg off me. Sucking you off. Eating, well. And the fly was bad as well.

13:52Denis:Ah, pack it in. Do they like? Try and tell you about my holidays. Tell us. The fly was biting my leg. I was ruined. And then she said that I ruined the dinner. But we were sitting down anyway and we're having a lovely little time. And then boom, sparklers and everything kick off behind us. A proposal. A marriage proposal Oh fuck You're one wearing a white dress Small nose Small little nose Big ring And a big diamond And the whole thing kicks off Big celebrations right Now I didn't feel under any pressure right I was joking to her I said wouldn't it be hard If you were going to propose And that kicked off Yeah Oh my lord Two seconds later The fella in between us Another one No a happy birthday Oh Absolutely fucking horrendous Guy walks down Poor lad didn't have much English in him Probably only heard happy birthday a couple of times maybe on television so he comes down with the cake after this big fucking thinking song singing it didn't know it happy birthday happy birthday to you happy birthday to me he just made it up as he was coming down I was in bits I couldn't stop laughing poor lad and then your one just goes thank you happy birthday to me happy birthday to you that's a loss very bad that's a loss yeah and you had nothing organised I had nothing organised no um but we went to enter we sat down by the pool we listened to the rich russian english um you'd love this right so there was this english woman sitting next to us and she comes or they always had their little spot or you couldn't take the old ladies fucking spot when you went down to the pool right so we went down this one day and this english one pops up and you know these are these english women who like they probably are like rich in like terms but like they're not super rich they're not like you know old money but they kind of act okay so she comes over and she said The first thing she says to everyone is like, oh, I'm so frustrated.

15:39Denis:My daughter is up for a design award in London. I can't vote on it. Oh. But listen to this. So then there's a woman next to her who's like, I mean, it's a well-traveled, like very cool, like Russian lady, right? Yeah. She speaks, everyone who comes down has a different language. She speaks it to them. She's really, really cool, right? So she goes, oh, what was the design award for? Like, you know, you know, oh, she's involved in real estate. Oh. Fucking real estate. fucking probably like you know real estate agent of the year or something she's eight people under her oh who cares who gives a flying shit like right that's the first thing she said to her and then the other people were like everything that come down they'd say oh I speak the Russian lady started speaking like Spanish and all this and then that English one not wanting to be outdone says oh I speak French oh so then the Russian one starts speaking French to her English one can't speak French back to her no French horrendous and she's going oh um maison Maison And your other one's going Oh I think it's actually like You know Maison She's like oh yes yes yes yes But my accent's a little bit different I'd be allergic to that now Listen to that all day Having fights with the Heavily testosterone Are you inside a wall?

22:56Denis:She's... And she'd already researched it. Taste. She could go into a supermarket, and if you're looking at sauces for dinner, she'd go, oh, we get this one, and it'd be the most expensive one by a mile. No. We went up there. The prices were more expensive than London. Cocktail. Oh, do you know which cocktail was over there? £25. It'd be fucking£18 for a cocktail. Do you think she'd have a beer? No Full height Full height Didn't hit my head Because I hit my head quite a lot yeah but this was new so I had that and then I had a hotel at the same time closer to the city just for the option I couldn't that's very interesting isn't it Mark why because you don't because well there's no train I will criticise there's no train after midnight yeah but you had a little you had a little hotel near the city and then a little homestead pied de terre out further in suburbia well if you want to socialise after midnight but you could also keep your holiday quite separate you could say because you can have the nice apartment and did you meet any nice Japanese men?

25:28I've loads of friends already in Japan some of them I met, some of them I didn't get a chance and I do apologise, hello, straight down the camera, apologise, I didn't get to you, there's a few people upset, I was pulled and dragged but I was trying to just be on my own as much as I could and just kind of I had lovely days walking around it was pouring rain a lot of the time beautiful though 35 degrees in Turkey no oh it was 35 degrees and rain oh lovely hot sweaty but kind of it doesn't matter because it's lovely but you glanced over you went over that there but is there any I met a few friends yeah I did but any new people or were they just all friends pick and mix there's an awful lot I will say in the homosexual district which is called there is a rotation of arrivals and there was a moment maybe by the end of the second week when I thought I'm stuck in a time loop here because you're standing outside a bar that I have stood outside a hundred times over the years talking to a person a new person same conversation but it's a copy of a person you've met 3000 times who has just arrived from random country first time in Japan is very excited is saying all the things that I also say and then is kind of on this itinerary which everyone does which is fine but you're kind of like I'm going mad we're having the same chat over and over and over and over so I had to kind of leave that after a while because they're people you'll never see again yeah so I took off into the rain a few nights

Read the full transcript

30:06Denis:I wanted. Sorry to interrupt. Imagine the damage you'd do with a mobile home. If you had a mobile home in Bundoran or something. All that. Blacked out mobile home. All the windows tinted. I had multiple homes. And my hotel, because we were going to karaoke on Wednesday night. And I didn't want to be rushing for the train. So it was actually cheaper to just get a hotel and keep the other Airbnb. But in the hotel There was a health spa Yeah As is very common in Japan They have beautiful services Everything is perfect Everything's great So your cheapest It's called APA It's like It's the cheapest business hotel You can find But they're just great They have everything you want So I went down to the health spa Can you just clear up Because we do talk in It's just an actual health spa It's just a health spa It's an actual No funny business I mean there's always a risk There's an opportunity But it's not like the mainstay it's a hotel okay for every every kind of person yeah but you know what men are like so I don't pigs okay so I went down to the health spa it was absolutely lovely beautiful like low lighting it was like a luxurious spa but it was so cheap and and the whole show take it all off and you swing around and you have to sit on the little stool wait you're naked you have to be yeah Is that not a risk For Like Excitements Yes No I mean But what if your mind Like your mind recognises as a spa Lad walks in Forgets where you are Subconscious kicks in It just doesn't No No Well What'll I tell you So you're on the little stool And you do the whole thing And there'll be like An old Japanese businessman beside you And then there'll be like An American tourist Fucking talking The Americans I have to say Shut up A lot of talking Yeah When no one else is talking in this country Yapping Talking So he gave them a dirty look And then Off I went And then I was in the little pool And I was just enjoying myself And then in comes these two Swinging Pieces Big Lads They looked I thought initially LA Like You know Stupidly beautiful Yeah yeah Like muscles and tan and just, yeah.

32:32So I thought, oh, here we go. And they came swinging and they went in and they sat on their little stools and they did the whole thing. But they were nervous. I don't think they'd been there before. They were nervous. Little did they know the shark in the water. Stop. And there was two of them. And there was something funny between them. I was like, are you friends? There was something going on. They weren't happy. Yeah. There was a tension there between them. One of them was big and tall and a bit angry. Okay. And the other one was a bit smaller and a bit twinkly eyed.

33:01Denis:Okay. So I had assigned the roles. And I was making up my little story about who they are and what's going on. So then they were going around and they were going into the pools and stuff. And then the small twinkly one kind of gave me a little smile. Okay. A smile smile? Just a little. I can't explain how silent these places are. There's no interaction. Like those old Japanese people. This is like a siren going off. basically right yeah a look into an eye is like you might as well have jumped on my neck so there was a small little a glance but then I could see the big tall one was a bit tense and a bit kind of angry looking so I decided I wasn't going to do anything about this I was just going to just sit there and let the bubbles lap over my luscious body and then we were moving around and then I found the small one was kind of chasing me around a bit.

33:59Denis:I don't know if this is true. This is true. Well, what do you mean he was chasing? Like, I would never think that. I would never think so. Well, he was, because I'd go into the little, chasing you around. The little small pool and then he'd end up there kind of beside me, but not looking or just kind of close by. And where's the other lad? The other one was kind of following on a bit after, or he might go shower and then the other. So this was going on for a while. And then I decided in my head, there were a couple, this one is chancing his arm. and he's just trying to have a little a little thrill or whatever so there's no action here because the big one was giving me very evil looks now he was like back off my woman that's what he was that's what he was saying to me and then

34:46and then they started having and then I think they were German or something they started talking in another like whispered language and I picked it up of like we're going now big tall ones that were going so they went and showered and then the big tall one went off into the lockers and the small one hung around and at the same time I found myself in the showers fuck off

35:16and it went on a small bit too long that's all I'll say what you no from a distance you were just having a watch just Oh wait Were you Just taking his time No no The Japanese are listening The Japanese are listening Just taking his time Do you know what I mean

35:35Denis:Is this an open shower Yeah yeah yeah Okay But just taking his time And really having a scrub Do you know Right For a small bit longer Yeah Than he needed Do you know what I mean I'd love to hear the story From the other side It's fucking Irish lad kept following me around the whole place no he was following me and that was that and there was like well there was excitement he displayed excitement small smile smile half smile half smile half moon semi smile half moon okay yeah in your direction how close are you in the showers oh miles away five meters it's close enough distance a safe distance he closed the distance by a few inches And That's it And did you see him afterwards?

36:26Denis:Well And then Off he goes into the lockers And I had to go Because now it's closing time This went on for so long It's closing And if there's a time in Japan There's a time You'd be locked in there You're locked in So We all ended up Out in the lockers And they had a big fight In German And you had no idea Because the big tall one was like He was basically saying I'm fucking waiting He's fully dressed Ready to go to bed Your man's wanking in the shower No he's not Oh sorry He's washing himself And they had a big fight And then We had to go And then I ended up In the lift with them Fuck off Like kind of waiting For the lift Behind the small head But nothing's happened So like I'm kind of like Just trying to still be cool And I'm also like A bit has happened Mark Nothing's actually happened A bit has happened So I'm like Well I'll still be friendly Who knows We could Say hello to them I had to say hello Oh for fuck And I said For my sake I And you know the way I don't talk very clearly sometimes So I said Oh Are you staying here long And the big tall one said Alone He's with me Oh No And I said No no I mean are you too Are you staying here And I'm stuck Oh my god And then we had to get into the lift And then I swear to god You were outside the lift You weren't even in the lift I'd fucking lock myself into the steam room Up to the 8th floor They press 8 Where am I staying eight so I have to follow now I look like an absolute fucking pervert I have to follow them I have to go to my room I have to follow them up to the eighth floor and do the little walk down the hall and our rooms are like across the way horrendous outrageous did you small eye give you any look before you went into the room he was giving me looks of course he was yeah and then he was like he passed him on the arse and went into your room good lord Mark did you ever just go to this hall and just enjoy the bubbles but I worry now did he get give it out which maybe that's their thing

38:24Denis:Enemy at the gate He's here with me Yeah He loved that He hates my guts He hates your guts I hope you see I hope you pop up on his fucking Instagram I hope he pops up on your Instagram that would be so brilliant Tell me about the gooch I had a little bit of German action Oh? It's not even the gooch No I had a little bit of German action So every evening we would sit out on this little balcony well it was bigger than the balcony but like i don't want the hell i'd love to do a side by side here beautiful the two evenings right in this villa looking over the kind of like peninsula gorgeous or the town little yeah so beautiful right sitting down there one night um lisa's inside i don't know doing something making cheese or something yeah and then next to me in the villa right next to me in the wall I hear in a German accent oh oh I'm like oh no I'm like what it's fucking 8 o 'clock like 8pm right I was like what's going on here and then a little higher one of them oh there's two fucking riding on the balcony right next to us so then Lisa arrives out with the cheese we're going oh here's the cheese would you like a drink and the tube next to her oh and she's going what's going on next door and I was like I don't know I think he's helping her find something or whatever is there a ride next door while we're sitting down having our little koftas and a little bit of cheese and you're going out of next door would you not knock on the well I see knock in the thing with that Lisa wanted to go around and have a little like you know look in you know and I was like no don't look in they're probably half doing it for us already and I don't want to I don't want to be maybe they wanted I don't want to be part of it do you know who they were had you seen them I'd seen them down at the pool and he no no probably not probably not what if there were rides if there were rides I would change things yeah she was nearly right him not so much not so much what if became a bit of a we left before the break now which you're trying to get me into swinging and you've started it again a bit of a relay over the wall a bit of a race oh oh okay yeah maybe yeah I was hungry though so I needed food The cheese was more important.

40:40Denis:If they waited for me to have the cheese and the orange juice I probably would have maybe gotten bothered. Some people love that. And then right then it quietened down and I heard a can crack open. Oh that's nice. That's nice. Yeah. Sex before the dinner. They're well entitled. Yeah no they're enjoying themselves yet. Saw him down at the pool then the next day said I know what you've been up to. Did you watch that film I told you? What's it called? The Invite? Yeah. Oh don't worry Mark I watched that fucking film which we're going to talk about in the bonus because I It's a bit like that, no? I have to give out to you You don't like it?

41:11Denis:No, no I watched it with Lisa Oh? Oh my lord You did not Anyway, we'll talk about it Okay I'll go off for about 20 minutes talking about it Give us a quick synopsis for anyone who doesn't know Oh, it's about a very good looking couple from upstairs calling down to a couple who are having marital problems and inviting them into maybe A little A sex ring A sex ring Oh dear oh dear you promised me Penelope Cruz's boobs so that's why you got them not really well you got her doing the dance yeah well anyway we'll talk about that in the bonus you did mention the gooch though the gooch is more important the gooch and then I'll give you your presents so we went on a beautiful boat ride in Calcan we don't have to go do we not?

41:55no okay

41:57Denis:we never have to go we went on a beautiful boat ride in Calcan yeah and we went on two of them actually we went on one in Calcan one in cash because you know what's the point in doing one when you can do two and spend loads more money. And we hopped on a usual boat called the Royal Falcon. Right? So we went down picking boats that night. She said, what we do is now we go down to the harbour and we pick out a boat. And of course, there was, you know, She thinks she is. She thinks you're loaded. So, she must do. So we went down, we went down and she had a look and there was like, you know, the first one is like the gremlin, you know, whatever, full of all shticks.

42:31Denis:And I'm like, oh, that one's not bad. It's a teller you for the whole day. No, no, no let's have a look here and then of course we see the royal falcon i'm like oh i guess we're going on the royal falcon and sorry now do other people go on the boat other people going as well okay um so the two from next door the two from next door might be on i wish they were on it would have made it easier they so you get you might get 20 people on it but if you were to go on one of the other ones you might get 40 people on it or whatever which can be a bit grim so we You rock on to the Royal Falcon in the morning and they have all these little beds.

43:04Denis:Have you ever been on one? No. They have all these little like kind of beds that you could sit on if you'd been swimming. Do you know that kind of material? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you can sit out in the sun and you sail out into the ocean. Is it going anywhere? Visit these little islands. You visit like, you know, a mud beach where you can wipe mud all over yourself. Yeah. You can go for a dip into these lovely lagoons and stuff. It's beautiful, right? So it's amazing, right? but it was very hard to enjoy the day because in walks this one um this this woman walks in takes off her little sarong or whatever oh my lord what she was on a different trip than we were oh tiny tiny attire on oh with and how do i say everything she did it was Gooch first.

43:56Denis:Towards you? Towards me. Every single thing. So I don't know about you, right, but when you lie down on a bed, right, when you're next to someone, or especially a stranger, you don't get down on all fours first. I might. You might. You don't get down on all fours first in your tiny little bikini. Pointing into your face. Pointing towards me. She's every right. I, and then, and then I would look up. You don't have to look. but it's a boat it's it's hard enough not to look like you know she's she's facing where the boat is pointing but they're rows right so you're just facing ahead like and the next people are ahead to you oh so she was there and then at one point she was leaning over the railing oh and she leaning over like i mean back breaking leaning over the railing right and she turned around to Lisa and she said isn't the view amazing I was like I'm going to be fucking murdered convulsions oh my lord would you bouncing around the place chat oh she said that Lisa's shoes were were so beautiful was she flirting no who was she with someone I think there was like a man no no like a relative on the boat somewhere She was knocking around downstairs.

45:17Denis:Was she trying to... No, I think she might have just been kind of cartwheeling around the place. I was only dreading. She was going to ask me to take a picture. She asked me to take a picture. I would have had to jump off the fucking boat. There was another couple then. It was a New Zealand fella, and I think it was his Polish girlfriend. They were out swimming, and you could go snorkeling. So they had this little snorkeling mask. And then this one paddled over to them and said, Oh, can I have a go on the snorkeling mask? so the Polish wife is right next to him and they're like oh yeah no problem so like when you get the snorkel mask on all you do is you just lie flat on the ocean I see no no that'd be fine enough right you lie flat and you just look down she went deep sea diving right fucking like vertically down oh arse up in the air oh gooch to nose of the lads again and goes down and that is acting like nothing has happened but she had been hired by the resort to give you something to well worth the money if she was well worth the money God yeah definitely added to the day I can't remember a single thing I saw that said you're overwhelmed can't remember a single thing would that cause tension now in the house you're looking at her it would cause a certain amount of tension no no it didn't we'd speak very freely about that okay Lisa was remarking that it was probably the cleanest Gucci she's ever seen oh for God's sake yeah okay not a blemish what have we got here I have a big bag of presents No you don't I do a course Full of Japanese Okay In my beautiful Bag from the airport What have we got I've made the bits for you I don't know I've no idea I got you Well will I start nice Yeah go on I'll start nice I don't know what that means I got you this Because you like making things I do like making things I got you this Wait now we're short It's called Pussu Pussu They're nice Oh deadly thank you They're nice Pussu Pussu Tell the listeners cardboard design product of is this the Eiffel Tower?

47:16Denis:No. That's the This is Tokyo Tower. Tokyo Tower. I think they have an Eiffel Tower. And paid. Thank you. I did. What does that mean? That means you're paid. They slap a sticker on it so they can check you when you're allowed to say it. Every single fucking thing they put a sticker on everything. But you love it right? I do love it. Why is that? Because they're always stealing stuff. Just just a bit of a ceremony I suppose. Pusu Pusu contains small parts that are easily swallowable. Yeah. Oh. That's nice. 15 and all. This is great. I love this. Can I just read this? Build three-dimensional scenes and structures simply by inserting tiny cardboard parts precisely laser-cut.

47:59Denis:That's nice. Or each piece makes a distinctive Pusu Pusu sound when slotted together. How are we pronouncing that then? Pusu Pusu. Like a puss. Oh, is it? Like the puss. Brilliant. I love that. I love that. Now I've got your little cake Oh lovely Creamy cheese I've got your cheesecake Very nice Is this the cheesecake you're eating? No no Okay It's a cheap version I've got your sweeties That send you to sleep Oh lovely Isn't that nice? They're full of drugs For sleep What's in them? 49:12Denis:I haven't done that now Can I have one of these? These might be for Declan as well He'd like them I think Oh 7-Eleven socks They're very popular Aren't they very nice? A listener might see those soon He might see those soon And then we got you Now this is on loan Because this is a very valuable thing But I thought it might be nice For the set here for the house A little magazine So we went to Tokyo To Tokyo Went to Eagle in Tokyo and there's an eagle in Osaka which is a LGBT a very famous bar. Do you remember I was telling you about the big lads? The carry around? The muscle men? They have a body type in Japanese gay culture which we don't have of well we do have but there's not so much about it of these big Yeah bubbly kind of it's muscle and fat it's a bit of a mix and there's loads of like magazines It's like Gaynor kind of guys right?

50:13Huge like roundy little they're just big little tanks and there's bars and there's loads of magazines and there's loads of art about them and stuff so I got you a little book and I thought you might now Isn't that nice? I think you should maybe read it in the bonus episode because it's a bit outrageous And he's hanging Outrageous Isn't that lovely Look at those lads But they're walking around Can you imagine a city like that?

50:40Denis:Oh this is They're walking around Am I mental or is this Backwards? Backwards to me It's meant to be backwards Yeah They read backwards Yeah Yeah That's mad Maybe you can read it later Oh dear Isn't that nice? That's lovely Isn't that lovely? No they're nice They're lovely They're little Pikachus What have we got? 10 minutes Tell me something else So They're kind of weird aren't they? The sweeties? They're nice But they taste They don't really taste like anything we have Yeah sure it's all different Oh my god Speaking of all different You know what Lisa kept doing to us?

51:31Denis:Oh I go to the fucking toilet And I come back At the restaurant And she'd be talking To two old mobs from England we were talking to one couple they were in Calcan 22 times they've come every single year for the last 22 fucking years and why do you like coming back we just love it what was the other couple we were talking to we were talking to a load of them on the boat as well of course they all hate London that was a big thing and then I just tell them I hate London as well just to get along with it I do hate London now No, I love love you. I have to come back. Oh, I have one more thing to tell you.

52:11I kept getting approached by women. No way. Sexu, sexu. Sex workers. Sexu, sexu. Sexu, sexu. Three different occasions. Where? One was in, I was staying in Okobo, Which is It's kind of like It's the Korean town And it's just above Where there's a bit of The closest thing you could get To like a dangerous area Where there's like There might be A man standing on a corner Who might Try and get you to come into a bar Yeah Like It's completely safe But there's like a tiny Tiny little Feeling of Seediness Very very mild So I was walking through there And there's a particular street A lot of ladies And when they see someone like me coming Money You know I said I have multiple homes And how much?

53:17Not enough 10 ,000 What's the equivalent of that? 50 quid 50 quid for the whole Well I don't know what she was offering But when I That happens to me a lot When I'm travelling Because I probably don't maybe immediately read as gay. They just see tall white man. And then I have this like, how do I say no, but also let you know, I respect you. I respect your profession. I'm gay and I respect you. I respect you, but no thanks. So I end up walking around, I'm so sorry, no thanks. Thanks very much. I have no money on me. I have no money on me. But also like, that's not enough. 50 quid. Hype up the price.

53:58Or start higher. Do you know?

54:00Denis:Or you know what you could do? You could kind of get Maybe a few women together Over there And like you could organise The money and stuff And set up a house And like maybe take 10 % off them And stuff What could go wrong? Yeah Yeah And if they get out of line Then you can kind of Lay down the law and stuff You know? And then I went Some name for that To another place Oh what's it called? Maybe I won't say I won't say But I went to this Like retro Vintage Shopping mall Which it's all over Instagram now but it's it's just an old shopping centre but because it's Japan it's lovely it would be like going to the Crumlin shopping centre or something which in Ireland would be just miserable but everything there because we're looking at it in a different way but do you think they're in it going oh my god it's a stupid shopping centre they're like oh this is old and needs to be renovated and knocked down but we're like oh it's so 80s there's a lot of things like Frozen in Time from the 80s so loads of little shops nothing English all tiny little places and and beautiful and I had my my lunch in a nice little place and then I went up to the second floor Massagey Oh Massagey Massagey like the whole floor Happy Massagey I don't know You didn't get one?

55:15I'd say no I'd say about 70 So beneath you absolutely not 70 little units all the same and a woman outside each one little curtain-y things like a little unit like a little cubicle? smoothie stall size like a small little unit where there might be just two or three people are we hopping a table

55:40Denis:can you see the massages getting done? no no there's a little curtain so I had to but I wanted to see so I had to walk along but I had like 70 women all approach massaggy massaggy and I had to politely let each and every person know that I don't want that but I respect you the whole way around.
