1:17Welcome to Almost 30 Podcast. Welcome to the show. It's Lindsay and Krista, your girls. How are you guys? Best friends. Best friends. How's my community? How's our Almost 30 family? What's going on? How's the vibe? It is the beginning of December. Wow. We did it. We did it. This is us doing that for 10 years. Every single year we did it, guys. I honestly think I should— I would actually love a compilation of us doing recaps from the year, and then we do an episode at the beginning of, like, what I said and what came true and what the vibe was. I think I remember one year being like, this is going to be the best year of my life, and it was, like, the worst year of my life.

1:53I remember that one. I think it was 2022. Okay, yeah. Maybe. which is so interesting because when I think about like that divorce period like that whole year of that it's weird because I don't think it was the worst year like I'm like no that was like great but you know but I think in it I would I don't know there's the perception that it's leading up to it I think was painful yeah but obviously perfect decision yeah literally when you're the only one carrying the whole fucking thing on your back it's fucking hard when you're the only one in a conversation in the room it's it's it is a journey and a testament and the amount of energy i got back from it oh blessings on blessings on our path blessings blessings um i'm excited about today's episode we i sat down with our friend erica gabriel um who's a spiritual teacher and medium and one she's a good friend so it's just one of those conversations that just feels like you're sitting down to kiki with your friends so it was amazing But most of our conversation revolved around just how we block ourselves from our dreams.

3:04You know, I think we as women have such beautiful, clear visions and how we are in very sneaky, but sometimes obvious ways, just really blocking ourselves from receiving, from manifesting it or bringing it to reality or being able to see or feel what the next best step is. So that was the majority of the conversation. I just think she has a really beautiful insight into the practical, but also the energetics of what's actually happening. Yeah, I was just kind of processing what you're saying and going into that. It's so real. And I think I could be better about that. I think I could be better with having a more expansive mindset.

3:44I think I have a pretty good one. But I think what's powerful about being a coach and working with women is that's like a part of my role is looking at where people limit themselves and you limit people. Oh my gosh. I mean, I do it myself. My coach, my teacher does it with me so much. It's like, we limit ourselves so deeply. Like we, I can't do this. We can't do that. I can't do this. It's like, everything is like a can't or a stop. It's, and I think women use a lot of our power and our creativity to limit ourselves. And I've seen that working with men versus women. Men are like, okay, I'll do that.

4:19and then they just do it. And there's no story. There's no drama. There's no, you know, excuse. There's no like blah, blah, blah. I'm in my luteal, da, da, da, da. It's like, okay, I'll just do that. And women, it's like are so creative that they're so creative about excuses. I completely agree. And we just kind of lean into the complexity of things where we're like, it's not that simple. A hundred percent. But sometimes it is. For sure. Sometimes the next best step is actually really simple. Yeah. And it might not be the end goal is the next best step, but it's like there is a next best step that is simple that you could do.

4:55Yeah, completely. Completely. What were the dreams that she has? Or is she stepping into a new phase or season? Yeah, one of hers, she wants to be like, she's been doing one-on-one readings for a long time. And I feel like a lot of our friends who have done one-on-one readings have met this turning point for themselves, which is like, I want to be doing something else instead of one-on-one readings all day, every day. And though she loves them, she's like, I'm ready to be seen. I'm ready to speak. And not in the sense of like doing readings for big groups, but just in another capacity. I don't know specifically what she would want to talk about.

5:35I know she has a lot to talk about, but yeah. So she's kind of at that point and she was talking about just kind of what was just like the thoughts and feelings and limiting beliefs that are holding her back. And yeah, it was so interesting because I think, I don't know, I think we can pedestal people. I'm not saying that I was pedestaling her, but I don't know, some more spiritual people in my life, I'm like, but you got it. Like you're on your path and you got it right. Right. And like, we're, we all have the human part of us that like really limits us at times. So it was like actually really refreshing to kind of hear how she's how she's navigating yeah I think it's interesting because every maybe it's this is our world or community or everyone that I'm with but everyone that I'm with is always like I want to be seen yeah everybody I want to be seen more I want to like and I don't know if that's our world I think it's our world I think it's our world because I think a lot of people don't feel that way not that they don't want to be seen or like ignored but i don't feel i feel like you're saying a scene in a more public yes yes be recognized yes be yeah yeah admired for that online like whatever like grow on social media all of that i feel like i think it's more prevalent than ever though i agree with social media i agree people people wanting that um and i think it's an amazing thing and also sometimes i feel like it can be a bottomless pit of like.

7:02I know. I've been working on that because you know what I've noticed about myself? I have judgment. I've been looking at all the judgments I have. I've been really working on this with my Kabbalah teacher. I have judgment of people that want more. Like as an example, the Kardashians, I'm like, oh my God, when did they stop? They always want more. They just want more, more, more, more, more. And I definitely think they have like a, like our harmonic frequency that's running through them. But, you know, but that's my job. Like, why do I judge people that want more? I want more. It's like, I'm kind of limiting my own self in that way.

7:37And judgments are limits. In Kabbalah, they teach that a lot. But it's like in access consciousness, they teach that a lot. But it's like, when you have judgments, you're limiting yourself. So a good way to see the way they're limiting yourself is looking at judgments. And I've had to look at that where I'm now like trying to flip it where I'm like, of course, they want more like everyone wants more. We're here to create. We're here to do new things. Yeah. Because I'm trying to take that away because I really, I think I was keeping myself small with that judgment. Yeah, totally. Well, judgments feel small.

8:04Like when we do it, you know what I mean? Yeah. Or I'm like, we kind of know by now that it's like, that's our like smaller self being like, you know, totally. Like I feel when that's happening. I'm like, hmm. I know. Sometimes it's fun. It is for real. Sometimes you just talking about nothing else at the table. I was like I gotta judge because what else are we doing here but I'm excited for you guys to dig into this conversation with Erica Gabriel she's so entertaining I love her as a person she's fun I feel very comfortable with her I feel very myself with her she's funny she's so funny you know what's funny dude all the psychics I know in mediums are funny as hell funny I feel like they've just seen and felt and heard so much for real like Brima Lanson Erica like so many are like are just absolute hilarious people.

8:53Yeah, she's a good egg. She's on Instagram at spiritualmediumerica and her podcast, You Are Not Alone. It's an incredible podcast. I was on there recently to talk about our book and various themes from that. But we love you so much. Thanks for listening. And I think that's all I got. You gotta enjoy this one, baby. It's gonna be a good one. Send it to a friend. This is such a fun way to start conversation and just get even talk about how you guys are limiting yourselves, your dreams. This is like a great girl chat around that. And she's really powerful. Erica has done readings for me in the past and they've been very accurate and very pleasant and fun.

9:30She's just great. So enjoy this. And then you can find us on YouTube. So we have videos on YouTube. Come see our faces on YouTube, Almost 30. And then Almost 30 Podcasts on Instagram and TikTok. We have our book. Our book is incredible. If you have not gotten our book yet, it is amazing. So the Almost 30 book is out wherever you get books. Love you guys. Love you guys. See you on the other side.

9:52I'm so excited you're here. Thank you. It has been four years, over four years since you've been here. I know. Which is just so crazy. I know. 2021. Yeah. So much has happened. I'm so excited to connect on kind of what's coming up collectively, what you've been experiencing in readings, in your own life. We just had like a pre-conversation. I'm like, oh my God, okay. Hit record. I heard. But we were talking about how when so many people who come to you wanting a reading, they want to know their purpose and what the meaning of life is, which are really big, beautiful questions. What do you think about that?

10:40And what do you have to say? Yeah. They want to know the meaning of their life and they want to know their soul's purpose. And like, how awesome is that? How beautiful. How cool. Like I started doing readings professionally 17 years ago. So just getting with the collective, I sit with thousands of people a year. So just watching the involvement of our understanding and spirituality is so amazing to get to be a part of. And things come in waves. Like I'll talk to people. There'll be a month where I'm only talking to people whose loved one has died by suicide. That's the right way to say it. Yes.

11:19It comes in waves, but overall and collectively, the main things that I can pull from the last like two years are people that are very stuck and want to know their soul's purpose. They understand, they want to know that they're here for a reason. And they want to know what that reason is, which is beautiful and amazing and also an opportunity to understand and to hear from spirit that it is not one thing many times. Have I read for people who had one purpose and the rest was kind of choose their own adventure? Absolutely. Yeah. And it's amazing. I'm like, oh my gosh, guess what? I won the lottery.

12:07Yes. I'm like, here it is. The rest is go have fun, choose your own adventure. But so many times it isn't one thing. It's so many things and so many reasons. And that has to be okay. And that has to be enough that it's not just one smoking gun. Sure. And I also, I'm curious what you think about this. I feel like I thought purpose was a thing, you know, kind of like a tangible thing that I can then go get or like then become. But it feels what I've learned is like living my life, like being in my life, is such a huge part of purpose. And it's less about that living and being in that process that is the point of the purpose.

12:55Am I getting that wrong? No, you are like, it is so incredibly on point because if you are not present with what phase you're at, and this speaks so much to Almost 30 and probably your book about allowing yourself to be where you are. Right. And, you know, correct me if I'm wrong. But like, if you miss where you are, you're not it's like, do not pass go. You're not ready. I literally just talked about this with Marianne Williamson, which is like she was saying, if you're in a job that you don't like, let's use that as an example. Say you don't like your job and you're like, oh, my job. And you go in and you kind of do a shitty job and you're not that nice to the people around you.

13:37And are you a desirable person to get promoted? Do you feel good about yourself to then go out and find something else? So it is about really being present and where you are, right? And doing the best you possibly can. When you go to spiritual studies, say you go and you go to an ashram or you go somewhere, it's like you are toothbrushing the floor when you get there. And if you can focus on that and use your spiritual practice there, you can move forward. So is it spiritual to go to target? I don't know. Is it? Yeah. Can you use those practices there? Can you be kind? Can you practice patience?

14:18Can you practice boundaries within your own spirit everywhere, every day, your life is a spiritual practice. It doesn't always look like, say, going to an ashram or, you know, doing, you know, that kind of work. It can just be being where you are. You can be one of the most spiritual people in the world. That's what's changed for me, I think. I think before becoming a mom, I was like, okay, I got my spiritual practices. I got my meditation. I do this. I chant. I do – you know, I have all these things that I'm doing probably like every morning for two hours. And then all of a sudden you don't have that time.

14:54Yeah. And you have this like beautiful being that you've, you know, had a part in creating. And that becomes the spiritual practice. You know, that complexity and simplicity at the same time just becomes where your energy and focus is and where your reverence is and honoring and deep work, you know, all of it arises from that. And I've, yeah, I've had to like really unlearn the association I had with like being spiritual and spiritually connected to the certain practices that kind of got me there and how they can evolve over time.

There's so much talk about love and dating, and it can feel like everyone else has it all together, whether they're married, coupled, or moving effortlessly through it all. But the truth is most of us are still figuring it out. Hi, I'm definitely still figuring it out. And I've been married for three years. and wherever you are, whether you're dating, single, or focused on yourself, you're not behind. Therapy can really help you take some pressure off. It's a space to understand what you want, what feels heavy, and what may be weighing your relationships down so you can start to feel clearer and lighter again.

I read something recently that completely reframed how I think about aging, and it has nothing to do with wrinkles or energy levels on the surface. Scientists just identified the first nutritional deficiency in 75 years. It's called cellular fragility syndrome. It's caused by low levels of an essential fatty acid called C15.

16:57And it turns out that this one nutrient plays a huge role in keeping ourselves strong and resilient. When C15 levels drop, our cells become fragile. They produce less energy, break down faster, and that can quietly show up as poor sleep, fatigue, and feeling like your body just isn't bouncing back the way it used to. That's why I've been paying attention to Fatty15. It's a science-backed vegan supplement made with pure C15. And studies show it has broader cellular benefits than omega-3s. It supports long-term metabolic liver and heart health by actually helping repair and protect your cells. I've been taking it for about, I would say almost a year now.

17:37And it's been incredible. I've noticed not only a difference in my skin health, I am getting older and I just feel like I am slowing the process just a little bit. I've noticed a big difference in my energy, and just my bounce back rate. It's been great. Fatty 15 is on a mission to replenish your C15 levels and restore your long-term health. You can get 15 % off their 90 day starter kit at fatty15.com slash almost 30 and use the code almost 30 at checkout. Again, that's fatty15.com slash almost 30. The code is almost 30 and you'll get 15 % off their 90 day starter kit. but just to go back to purpose for a sec it's like i guess in essence we're never really not on purpose or in our purpose would you like because i'm trying to think about like just how everything is purposeful whether it feels unaligned or not it's showing you something absolutely teaching you something well we have sliding glass doors and we also have blocks that we need to get through.

18:42Right. So, and it's really cool. Just backtracking with you as a mom. I talked to so many people that are like, I used to be so spiritual. I know. I told my therapist that I used to be so spiritual. I was like, guess what? You are digging into spirit in a whole new way. You just passed through a gate. Yes. So what was the point if you're happy in your apartment saying om and meditating, if you can't apply it anywhere? I know. That's the whole thing. There's a whole point. The last podcast I did of my podcast, the title is, Are You Spiritual or Not? Meaning, can you put all of that into what you're doing?

19:18Because right where you are, your power is. Your power is in the present moment. Right where you are, God is. So can you be there in that moment? Can you sit on the floor and do that puzzle for the 1500th time? because I know it's hard. I've been there, you know. So that's part of it. Use it. You are on your purpose and it may conform and change, but it's all part of it. I think with purpose, we have a couple of things that are confused. One, we get very confused with manifesting because we think we can just like chill out and like it just happens to us. And there is a component of focus and work.

19:57You have to move towards it. Mind, body, spirit. What does that not just get up in the morning. Do what you're supposed to do. Take care of yourself. Do the work. You know what I mean? You have to do the work to get there. Now, that along with manifesting, oh my gosh, you're moving it all forward. You have to show up. No one's going to come and save you. No one's knocking on your door. That's what's so empowering and intimidating. Absolutely. That it's all you. There you go. There's the secret. It's all you. Yeah. But with the blocks that you asked about was, you know, there's three main things that I see with people.

20:38Fear. That's like, that's it. That's the hot button. We're afraid. We're afraid to move on. We're afraid to fail. We're in so much fear. And then the second one is a trauma response. So with trauma response, and I'm not a therapist, so please consult a therapist, but I can just tell you what I see with working with Spirit and all, you know, the clients I work with. The trauma response is we had a trauma, which is the rug pulling out from under us. And we felt so powerless. So we are in a constant state of what's going to happen, what shoe's going to drop, which is paralyzing. And then the last one is victimhood.

21:17I, you know, I kind of like get that like, oh, I don't even like to say victimhood because that sounds like we're saying it didn't happen or whatever. It's not at all. It's saying you have suffered and you have suffered possibly and been someone's victim, right? Or the victim of something. And you have moved on, but that thing is still controlling you. So in essence, even if that thing, say a person is out of your life, you are still re-traumatizing yourself every day by being their victim. And in essence, they have become your guru because you are still worshiping that and what happened. Wow.

21:56And it doesn't mean you're bad. It doesn't mean it didn't happen. It doesn't mean bad shit doesn't happen. It's not taking that away. It's saying if you can work with the idea that you can unplug from that person or thing and you can cut those ties so that you can be free and just start working with that idea in a loving way, you can then go, oh, maybe I can move on and maybe I can move forward and won't feel as stuck. Just in terms of victimhood, why do you think that we, because I've experienced that before. Ditto. Sometimes I think for me, often it's like victim of my circumstances where I'm like, you know, usually related to work.

22:37We have so much going on and I'm so stressed and I'm unable to see my son as much, you know, just like things that I create where I'm like, this is happening to me and I'm just pissed or I'm like resentful or what have you. And I kind of wear that as like a badge of honor or an identity, even though I'm like, how can I fix this or get rid of it? I think there's a subconscious part of me that's like, no, I like I want that. It's weird. Totally. It's like we want that pressure and to be put upon in some way so that if we don't perform I'm at our highest level, which is very scary. Right. We're like, oh, what if I freaking illuminate this shit and shine and move through it?

23:19Right. What if I do that? Gosh, like, well, what if I fail? What if I give it my all? And what if I fail? But I can't do that because I have this, that and the other. But I have to say, I think there are several types of people in this world. Well, actually, I can't say this because maybe that's triggering for people. Let's just say there's several types of people in this world. Very special. Let's say people, men, women, people that identify as such. I don't want to offend anyone. Men, women, identification, totally with you. Men, women, pregnant women, and women that have young children. It's a completely different experience.

23:56Yeah. And so for you, especially, Lindsay, it's just like, I'm giving myself all the juicy love and connection and it's okay because it is a lot. It's a different experience. I know. Young kids. And I think too, you know, I'm curious your thoughts on this where I wonder if people feel stuck or kind of make themselves stuck because of that perfection piece. So what I mean by that in my situation where you validating that it's a lot, you know, having a young child, first kid, figuring everything out. Sometimes I'm like, I don't want to, I don't know if it's that I think other people have it harder or worse or have more on, but I'm just like, I can do this.

24:50Like I, you know, if I have hard days, I'm like, why am I having a hard day? Like I have, I'm resourced, I'm supported. I'm, you know, like I kind of don't validate myself when I have those hard days and I have a lot on. And I think that keeps me stuck. Absolutely. And, but you're fighting, you know, you fight, you're fighting with yourself, right? A little bit. And like, I always tell people, they're like, well, how do I get rid of that? How do I get rid of the fear? How do I get rid of this, that and the other. And honestly, a lot of times you can't. But what happens is you acknowledge yourself.

25:25You're like, I hear you, sister. I hear you. This is a lot. And just like I said, you've got a little pudding. It's the best. And it's your totally different breed now with little kids. But you're just like, I hear you. This is a lot. Okay. Let me add in another area, right? So here's the area where it feels a lot. Validate. And then you're going to build up this other area of working with your tools, working with your mantras. And so this doesn't go away, that side. But this one just starts to outweigh it a little bit. And you start to put money in this bank. And you go back to when you were spiritual, quote unquote.

26:06But you just go back and you go back. You can create mantras for yourself. You can get yourself in the present moment, ground down into the body temple. Imagine a cord plugging you into spirit and to God. You can say, I'm only here for God. Work with me. Use me. Good. And it's okay. Sometimes we just have shitty days. I think when we get into our spiritual awakening and we get into our spirituality, sometimes we think we're just on another level. Shit happens. There's shitty days. And like, it's all good. And like, I had a situation last night where I got super frustrated with my son. And I was just like, oh, it was like a dagger in my heart.

26:45And then I'm like, it happens. I'm a human too. I went to him. Hey, but I'm really sorry. I lost my patience. I'm super tired. Like I just owned it. But you know, you're going to have days, especially with juggling so much that aren't going to be good, but just money in the bank and outweigh it a little bit with your scales. Yeah. But acknowledge yourself. Yeah, this bad day. Because usually there, you know, you get to kind of a point where you're neglecting practices or things that, you know, like light you up. And I think I think a lot of people can relate to that when they're asking, like, what is my purpose?

27:24And I wonder how often are you doing things that really like bring you joy and light you up? You know, I think we get so bogged down by like, I need to make money. I need to be successful. I need to like, you know, make my college tuition worth it. I I need to prove to my parents. You know, all of these like stories and beliefs, but we're not actually doing things that like just bring us joy for the sake of joy. And I think in my experience thus far, like that's where I've like touched that feeling of purpose, you know? Yes, I do. Like you mean with music, like singing? And even motherhood. I mean, in motherhood, I'm like, I feel so like, I'm like, oh, I feel at home and I'm home.

28:07But like, you know what I mean? Yeah, totally. I feel so comfortable with myself and where I'm at, even though it's crazy and like I'm learning so much. It's like this feels good, you know, even when it's hard. So that feeling music definitely brings that to me. Like it's just it's so interesting to now understand like following that feeling rather than the purpose that you can like kind of show as an accolade. Totally. Yes, it does. But that is so powerful because you are aligning with good feelings. And you may not know exactly where it's going, but you're just saying, thank you for allowing me to continue on my path.

28:49And then you go, well, what's at the end of my path? And you're like, I don't know, but I'm going to feel really good about it. And I'm just going to align with feeling good. And like when you're having fun, things flow. Mm-hmm. Yes. When you're, I just want to like speak to these moments where you can speak to God, speak to your higher self, because I think, I think we forget that we can do that. I'm kind of reiterating on what that looks like for me in this season, as I step in to be like a bit more public facing with the book and everything. Yes, totally. Where I'm like, I need to be plugged into God.

29:30like, and I know I always am, but like really intentionally before I sit down for interviews, before we do press, before we do everything, like just remember and just be connected in an intentional way. I guess, how would you guide people to kind of connect with God's spirit, their higher self in those moments where we might feel really far from who we really are? I think that's so cool how you said moments, because like you were saying earlier, you used to do your work for two hours. You can put an alarm on your iPhone that goes off once an hour and it times you for 30 seconds and you just close your eyes and breathe for 30 seconds.

30:12Imagine doing that though, because no one really does that. What if you really did it? And just regrouped and regrounded just for 30 seconds. So I feel like, you know, to everyone listening, it's like you can do 30 seconds, guys. Unbelievable how it helps. Absolutely amazing. My daughter, someone just gave her this bubbles and they said, when you're feeling overwhelmed, just breathe in and blow a bubble. And that just regrounds and recenters you. But with what you're saying, going into press, spreading messages, right? And, you know, doing your work and doing your purpose. You know, every single person has a spark of the divine, and I call it God's spark.

30:57Every single person on this planet, that's why we are all one. We're all connected. One love. All those expressions we hear are so true because we all have this little energy that is God, right, within. That's why when you quiet the mind and go within, you're connecting to your intuition. Well, what's your intuition? Well, that's where God meets you, and your angels meet you and your loved ones who've crossed over meet you and your spirit guides meet you in the quiet. So the idea before you go into an interview is just go into your quiet. Take a deep breath and say, I'm only here for God. I'm allowing God to work through me to spread these messages.

31:36Quick mantra and just go in with your breath. Imagine a little spark. Imagine a plug, plugging you right into the divine, reground your body and just move from there. And it can be fast. It doesn't have to be long. It can be a quick moment. It doesn't have to be a five-minute prayer, I suppose. No, it doesn't. It doesn't. No, but I think we talk ourselves out of these moments because we're like, I don't know how to talk to God. That's it. You know, like all these weird things that our mind says, it's like, no, literally half a second. It's right there. God is right where you are. 24-7. It's just, are you in?

32:15Are you down with this homie or not? You know what I mean? It's like, just plug in right away, breath. It's enough. And that's the thing with working with spirit. It is a subtle vibration that you're tuning into. It's a subtle vibration. I always tell people in readings, they're like, I just need, I want to see my grandma. I'm like, no, you don't. You don't want to wake up and your grandma standing over you that crossed over. go in grandma's there just listen so many times spirit works with us through telepathically excuse me and and that's real so you know you can work with spirit in that way but when you're going in you're going into work you're going into target you're going into a long stretch alone with a baby ground down ground into the body temple allow yourself to plug in plug into spirit right where I am, God is.

33:06You know, I always say to myself, I'm only here for God. I love that. And I started using also, it's not fun. It's only fun if it's fun. Oh, yeah. It's only fun if it's fun. Like, oh, I hit that mic. Sorry. Like today on the train, I was like sitting there and I'm like, what is today? And I'm like, oh, this is fun. This is fun. And then I said to myself, well, it's only fun if it's fun. So just have fun. So you can align with good feeling as well. It doesn't have to be that like, God, you know, it doesn't have to be intense. Sorry, my friend. It can be just, it can be fun. Oh, here I am. God's working through me.

33:43This is such a great feeling. And God is using me. And God is clearly using you, Lindsay, because you wrote this book. You have thousands of hours of listening in to powerful messages. And now you channeled all that in a book. And people are going to have that in their hands and read it. So God is working through you. Yeah. Yeah, I feel that. You're doing it. I feel that. You're literally doing it. And yes, you do need to reground and rewrite your ship. You live in New York City. There's a lot going on here.

34:14I feel like for a long time, money felt way more stressful than it needed to be. I stress so hard about money, especially when it came to banking and all the random fees you don't even realize you're paying. I feel like one day I woke up, I was like, wait, how was I charged$40 like eight times? What is happening? That's why I've really been into Chime. It's a smarter, fee-free way to bank that actually feels like it's built for real life, not old-school banks charging overdraft and monthly fees just for existing. With Chime, you get paid up to two days early with direct deposit, and their MyPay feature lets you access up to$500 of your paycheck when you choose.

34:49That flexibility alone has helped me feel way more calm and in control around money. It's awesome. They also help you build credit history stress-free, and you can earn up to 3 % APY on savings, which is seven times higher than a traditional bank. Plus they're rated five stars by USA Today for customer service, Real Humans available 24 seven. And their new Chime card is such a shift. You can build credit with your own money and earn cash back at the same time. It's awesome. No annual fees, no interest, no strings attached, no anything. With qualifying direct deposits, you get 1.5 % cash back on eligible purchases.

35:25I use this and honestly, my younger self would have benefited so much from it. Chime is not just smarter banking. It is the most rewarding way to bank. Join the millions who are already banking fee-free today. It just takes a few minutes to sign up. Head to chime.com slash almost 30. That is chime.com slash almost 30.

36:04Lately, I've been craving more simplicity, not just in my life, but in my nutrition too. It's really easy to feel disconnected when your cabinet is full of random powders and supplements and you're constantly questioning the labels. But that's why I really love cachava. It helps me simplify and feel more nourished without overthinking it. It's an all-in-one plant-based nutrition shake made with really high quality ingredients. There's no fillers, no artificial flavors or sweeteners, and it actually tastes amazing. Just two scoops will give you 25 grams of protein, fiber, greens, adaptogens, and nutrients that support energy, digestion, strength, and focus.

36:4425 grams of protein is no joke. So I usually blend mine with like a frozen banana and I'll add like a nut milk. I'll just add kind of my go-to favorite, like different fruits and stuff. But I can keep it simple and it still tastes amazing. Like the other day, I mixed the mint chocolate flavor shake with a nut milk and ice. And I just shook it up and it was chef's kiss. It's just rich. It tastes so good. It doesn't taste fake like other powders. They've done it right. So rewild your nutrition at cachava.com and use code almost 30. New customers get$20 off an order of two bags or more now through the 31st.

37:23That's cachava, K-A-C-H-A-V-A.com. The code is almost 30.

37:33There's a lot. What do you feel when you, so you're in suburbs of Philadelphia, suburbs of Philadelphia. What do you feel when you come here? Oh, I'm so happy. Yeah. I'm like, get this mom out of the burbs, girl. I'm like, get me somewhere with good food and cool people. And I love where I live. And I have the coolest friends ever. Totally. But I love going out. I love seeing people. So what I do is I tune into her and I just completely shut medium door. And you know what? I have worked so long and hard on doing that. Yeah. And flipping out of medium, you know, and just working with that. So like, for an example, I'm sorry to my Uber driver today.

38:13He said, Oh, are you going to New York? You know, are you doing some work? And I'm like, and he's like, Oh, what line of work? And I was like, I'm a consultant. I just didn't want to go to her. I didn't want to go there. I know. And imagine go in, you know, and then he was going to be like, well, I had a friend who, you know, and, and I didn't want to go to her. And I said, well, I'm a consultant. And he goes, for what? And I go, small businesses. Small personal businesses. And he goes, what kind of like female owned small businesses? And he goes, oh, this is great because I'm opening a small business with my sister.

38:50Can I ask you some questions? They'll always find a way in. Oh my God, bless. And I'm just like, yeah. And he started asking me about like taxes and shit, which I know nothing about. I'm here for God. God, he's me. yeah and then the medium comes out let me channel how you're going to use your taxes but it was just so funny because I don't always want to go go in yeah even though I'm always in of course but I don't want to go in so when I'm in New York City I go I ground myself beforehand white light myself I also the only thing that I do do is when someone's walking very close to me I hold my breath.

39:25Uh-huh. Interesting. Why? Smell, energy, aura. I just kind of close like my nasal. It's weird because I've done that before with certain people. I just close because sometimes when people walk by, I get their whole whiff of everything. And I'm like, I don't want to do that ground. And then I'll just ground down. But I white light bubble myself. I just put myself in a beautiful bubble. I allow people to walk by me and I don't get all up in everyone's business. I just really ground. And I think when you start working with small moments more and more, it becomes secondhand. You don't have to do the hour meditation.

40:03Listen, people listening, if you're hour meditation, oh my gosh, great. It's not against that. But it is okay to have a shorthand with spirit. It's okay to have a shorthand with grounding yourself down. In fact, like that is so much what spirit teaches in readings is shorthand tools that if you actually practice them. They are miracles and it's amazing. Yes. I think too, when you reground yourself and you're not pushing yourself and you're not denying yourself and you move through these things, you actually create space. And I know it's very cliche, but you create space for shit to go down that you could not have planned.

40:39I know. I know. I think like our mind is so limiting. Yeah. You know, I think like this is my dream. That's it. You know, and like we go in that like very myopic direction. Yes. And it's like, well, God has like a vision and a plan that you could have never dreamed up for yourself. That's why like leaning in to him is just like so profound. Exactly. And it can be really challenging to do because we're afraid. Is this going to work out? Am I ever going to meet anyone? Am I ever going to be able to support myself? Those are such disempowering questions because what happens is if you're like, well, am I ever going to meet anyone?

41:18your mind goes, no, you suck. You're not lovable. And you're like, okay. And you sign that contract with yourself. Right? So those questions in itself can be so disempowering. It gives you shitty answers back. It closes the door. So instead it's like, I am going in with thanking my guides, thanking God for continuing to assist me as I walk on my path towards the person that I want to be with. And then think of the person you want to be with and think of just maybe giving someone a hug, they can be faceless and you're just hugging them and you're like, ah, this feels homey. And then you're feeling really good.

41:52And then all of a sudden you feel great about the person you're going to meet. Yes. And then when they come into your field, you can recognize when that's happening. No, that's a really good point. So the questions that you might be asking yourself when you're feeling stuck or lost could be the mind is going to answer in a negative way, most likely. And then that creates a contract that you're kind of like, well, that's my fate. That's it. That's what it is. Okay. This is a really, yeah. And then your soulmates sit next to you at, you know, a coffee shop and you're like, well, I'm never meeting anyone.

42:24And they're like, do you like pizza? And you're like, yeah, do you like pizza? And they're like, do you like puppies? And you're like, yes. Oh my God. It's like love is blind. Yeah. And your soulmates. And then you're like, but I'm unlovable. And I said, I wouldn't meet anyone. So we can do that ourselves sliding glass doors. Not everything is etched in stone. Tell them, say more about sliding glass doors. So destiny is real. Destiny is absolutely real. But I wasn't destined to wear this jacket. My cat fell asleep on it and I spent the train ride lint rolling it. That was not my destiny. But point is, is that there are certain blocks that we put in our destiny.

43:05Okay. Right? Right. So there are certain things and the rest is sliding glass doors. So much is choose your own adventure. Is destiny fixed? Certain parts of it. Yes. And then we kind of like position these blocks and there are sliding glass doors that can kind of lead us into crossroads. We're at crossroads. So there are things like people we're supposed to meet. Yeah. Yeah. But we don't, but we, we either meet them or we don't meet them because we're in a place where we're not recognizing that, that, yeah, we can miss it. Totally. We can absolutely miss it. Listen, I work with a lot of people that, um, have lost people to overdoses.

43:46A lot of people call me about overdoses and they're like, I guess that was their destiny. And not always say more, not always they're on a path. They're on a path. They are in pain. They are, or they're an addict, I'm going to say things that may offend people, but just know that I want to say all the things, but for lack of time, there's all kinds of reasons why people fall into addiction. And sometimes their path is to move through addiction and maybe help others along the way, even just in an AA meeting, if they're, you know, going to help someone there, right? It doesn't have to be on a broad spectrum.

44:21But point is, and sometimes we don't, we're not able to get on that healing path. We're at a crossroads. And I see that in people even that call me that are struggling. You know, is there a life for me? Absolutely. I can see down that tunnel of this life, but they're going to have to choose it. Yeah. And they may not. And then sometimes they have, you know, excuse me, die of an overdose. So it's a lot is choose your own adventure. It's not just like, well, my destiny is there. So bum, bum. Right. I talked to someone once. It was actually a friend. and he was asking me some questions about spirituality and spirit and destiny and working with spirit.

44:59And I started to get into it and he's like, you know what? I don't actually want to talk about this. And I'm like, really? Why? He's like, because I just want to wake up every day and go to the hospital. He's a marvelous surgeon and saves kids. And I just want to focus on that and then just have fun and be with my family for the rest of the time. And I'm like, you are the most spiritual person I've ever met because you found your purpose. And it's just that one thing, that one destiny, right? So he may be saving people that are going to go on to do things. He had to be in that position, right?

45:33So, you know, he had that one main destiny where he was men. And I'm sure he had times in med school where he wanted to give up. He could have given up. He could have missed that purpose, but he found it. And so he found that purpose and he just didn't want to, he's like, I don't want to think too much about spirituality. This is my spirituality, right? Totally. I'm like, well, hot day. I'm like, you have a good time. You've got the key. Yeah. Because I think we can kind of, this is a good segue into something I was thinking about where we make, I think the new age spirituality, we kind of make it the thing that either validates us, that saves us, that, you know, is our new thing to like worship and become obsessed with and become addicted to in a way.

46:23100%. A new way to distract us in some ways, depending on how you use it. Yeah, I've had, I've had experiences and then I've just witnessed, you know, people that I know and care about kind of like,

46:46it becomes less about like, it becomes more egoic. You know? Oh my gosh, I know so deep. It's very, it can be very shallow and very surface, very glossy. And I... And become about them. 100%. Even though it's like a facade of like, no, like it's about like either God or spirit or other. it's like a weird self-obsession. But I think some new age spirituality you could fall into. 100. And then they become very judgmental for others. They're like, well, I know this. I know the hierarchical thing. Yes. And I see that so much. And it's, you know, I fall in love with everyone I read for. So like when I go on and say hi to them at first, maybe our personalities don't gel.

47:35But the minute I go in and I'm going into my mediumship, I'm like, oh, hi. I love you so much, you know? And I mean that. And I truly do. And I have to because I go in with my whole heart and soul. But period. And people will sit down with me to do a reading and say, like, I'm going to be so easy to read. I am super spiritual. I am also going to be a guru. I am, you know, they're really like putting themselves at this level. I am not judging them, but I will go in as a medium. It's like they are literally like haven't even opened the door. They are just looking at the door. Yes. And then I'll read for someone like far away in Nebraska.

48:24You know what I mean? And they're just experiencing things and have gone through things. And I'm like, wow. Yeah. Yeah. I'm like one, if you ever, I'd love to meet you. You know what I And they have no ego. Spirit will come in and tell them, okay, here's your next on your path. You're missing this. And they'll be like, okay, yeah, okay, and write it down. Whereas other people that are, I am a guru, Spirit will try and work with them, and they're not workable at all. They don't want to hear this. Do they think they're working with Spirit? Do you know what I mean? They're fighting. They grapple.

48:59They fight with Spirit, and they think, no, I know. And I'm like, well, why did you call me? Yeah. Because I don't have any skin in this game. I tune in. I deliver the messages. They don't want the messages. They are not ready to hear the messages. Their ego is so fragile that hearing a message to put them on the right path is they're unable to vibe with that message. So they're just at the start. They're just at the start. And for me, the more and deeper I go on this journey, that going into like 17 years of reading, I'm like, oh, I am so, I have so much to learn. I know absolutely nothing. I know absolutely nothing.

49:39I have so much work to do. And also things have become so much lighter as I've gone. And I'm like, oh, this is fun. Tell me more about what that means. Like we were talking about before, you know, I think when we get into spirituality, it gets so heavy and so dark and so serious. And it's like, it's only fun if it's fun. And God is great. God is great. God is so good. And it is so fun. Now, when people are going through spiritual awakening, we go through immense darkness. I literally was in the bottom of a well for three days. It is dark. Oh, yeah. Like in my mind. Yeah. I was like, were you trapped?

50:17That's crazy. We need to talk about it. This is probably long before you, but in the 80s. Oh, no, that's a bad story. Well, there was someone trapped in a well. And it was the biggest news because back in the 80s. I feel like I remember hearing about that. Yeah, it was a baby. Why am I bringing this up? I apologize if she listens. It's okay. We love you. I'm very worried about offending people. Not really, but you know, there's. No, yeah, there's so much to be offended by now. And I say that with love. Oh, you can say the wrong thing. It makes me feel like a grandma. I'm like, back in the 90s, we could say that to people.

50:50It's true. But point is, is like you do, you know, how does a star shine bright? It's like in a very dark night. So there is heaviness and there is darkness. And then there's so much light. So it's that yin and yang and that balance. So as I go deeper into working spiritually, I'm like, oh, this is so light filled. It's so good. It's so light. And it can be light. And it can be two minutes before you do an interview to ground yourself. And that's just as juicy. Yes. the bottom of the well was when I was opening as a medium, I used to do house clearings. And I would also do distance house clearings.

51:27So I would go into that person's home, excuse me, in distance, and see what I was bumping into there. And I did a house, distance house clearing for someone. And I went into her daughter's room. There was a crib and there was a man standing over the crib, like an unhappy man. And I'm not a ghost hunter. Yeah, I'm not. I that scares the shit out of me when I that's a whole nother story. But when I was younger with ghosts, oh, I can only imagine a big one. But I can tell you about that because people love that story. Please. But I bumped into someone and kind of just worked with like, letting him go and moving him on, which I don't do anymore.

52:07And I came out of that. And I guess since I was so new, I didn't know quite how to ground. Or I think in order for me not to be afraid anymore, I had to see it. I had to see the darkness and what it felt like and what it looked like. So that when I see it in a reading or I feel it in a reading, I'm a very safe person for a person to read with because I'm not afraid. I know what it looks like and can work with it very easily. So I descended into darkness. And it's so funny because you know me and how grounded I am. I'm a mom. I'm a super grounded person. So these experiences still to me, I'm like, really?

52:46I understand if people feel skeptical, but I just saw myself in the bottom of a dark well and I couldn't get out everything. It was the worst, most horrific feeling I've ever felt. So I felt I could see no light. I could feel no light. My husband was like, let's go for a walk. We walked outside. It was pitch black at night, nighttime. And he was like, just let the sun hit your face. I could not see light. I couldn't see the sun. Wow. It was complete and utter. And this was after that reading? After that reading. This was in my earlier years as a medium. I'm still living in Los Angeles. and I just went descended into complete fear and darkness.

53:31It was the most horrific, all-encompassing. I just can't, there's no way for me to explain it.

53:43And I remember my husband being like, do you want me to come into the well? And I was like, sure. And you know, this story is also interesting because it's like, you need to get yourself out, but I think love is one of the most powerful things in the world. Yes. And he was like, I'm going to come to the well. And we sat down in crisscross applesauce. It's another term. Crisscross applesauce. Yeah.

54:13I never realized how many harmful chemicals were hiding in my old nonstick pans. Teflon, PFAS, all that stuff that can leach into your food and home. That's why I've been loving our place. Their cookware is toxin-free, high performance, and honestly very beautiful. The four-piece cookware set is such a game changer. I love it so much. I even display it on top of my stove top because it's just so pretty. It comes with two Always pans and two Perfect Pots, which are coming in different sizes. It's great. They replace a whole pile of bulky cookware, letting you saute and sear, fry, roast, boil, basically everything, all in just four pieces.

54:52And I wanted to mention the Wonder Oven. It's an air fryer and toaster oven in one. It's sold out eight times for a reason. Cooking at home feels simpler, safer, and actually enjoyable. 55:24Lately, I've been paying way more attention to fiber and protein and realizing how hard it can be to hit those without giving up the foods that I actually love, like bagels and toast and tacos and all the bready things. So that's why I started swapping in Hero Bread. Y 'all, Hero Bread has changed my life, Krista's life. I just went to LA and she was all over Hero Bread. She was having the bagels every day with her lunch. She normally has a little soup. She had the bagels. It was amazing. It makes it so easy to upgrade everyday meals. So my avocado toast, the bagel sandwiches, the wraps for lunch without feeling restrictive.

56:03The texture surprised me the most. I think it is soft, fluffy, and tastes like traditional bread. It doesn't taste like something you're like, this is like a really bad copy of bread. It's so, so good. You'd never guess. It has zero to five grams of net carbs per serving, zero grams of sugar, and is high in fiber. Plus things like their breakfast bagels have 19 grams of protein. Okay. That's a lot. That's amazing. Hero Bread has sliced bread, tortillas, which are some of my favorites, bagels, even small batch drops like their croissants, which are unreal, and biscuits. So whatever you're craving, there's an option that fits your goals.

56:43I'm excited for you to try Hero Bread. If you want to hit your goals this year without giving up your favorite bready dishes, Hero Bread is offering 10 % off your order when you go to hero.co, H-E-R-O dot C-O, and use the code A30pod at checkout. That's A30pod at checkout at hero.co, H-E-R-O dot C-O.

57:10I can picture it. I'm just showing my age. We're almost 30. It's like, this bitch is a little bit older than that. Okay. Anyway, so crisscross applesauce, we're looking, our knees are touching. He's like, what does the well look like? I took him down. It was dark. It was cold. It was awful. He went in there with me and he was obviously channeling spirit. And he said, just open your eyes and look into my eyes. And I looked into his eyes and I could see the light of his soul through his eyes. and he said like let's go out together and I followed his eyes and I just went in because I couldn't find the light in my soul anymore or in the world and so he let me kind of go in on his and we came out and I started to heal and recover from that whoa I know and now when he really annoys me I'm like damn it you took me out of a freaking spiritual well I'm like you're lucky you have pretty eyes.

58:04That's crazy. Yeah. And how beautiful. Yeah. Wow. Love is very, very healing. I think the idea that you have to fully be complete and love yourself 100 % before you can love anyone else, I don't fully believe because love is extremely healing. I think you have to be in a position where you're not going to damage someone else. Sure. And you feel like, you know, you can receive some love and give. But I think love is very healing. And so love got me out. Wow. And that's why I fall in love with every person I read for and just bring that light. And bring that light in. Does that make sense? Yes, of course it makes sense.

58:42It's so profound. The story you wanted to share about seeing ghosts as a little girl, because I think a lot of people have experienced that as a child too. So I, there's a couple of things that happened in the story that I was referring to. So my sister and I were both very like enveloped, engulfed, I should say, in ghosts and ghost energy, both very sensitive. When I was seven, we moved into a new house and I started seeing a little boy around the house. Okay. And a neighbor later told us, you know, a boy has drowned on this property, a little boy. And I still see him around when I go because my parents still live in that house.

59:25Okay. My mom and my stepdad. and we were a little bit older maybe i was nine okay 11 12 13 yeah nine or 10 and she's four years older five years older five years older and she purchased an antique ouija board from an antique store and we were like yeah totally let's scare the ever-living shit out of ourselves So let's go there. So we started playing with it. And it started answering our questions. It started telling us, like, we're like, who's going to call on the phone? It would spell out someone's name. They would call. It's before cell phones, so no one was texting, you know? Wow. And we were doing it one day on the driveway.

1:00:12And it was me, my sister, and like two of her friends. And we were sitting on the driveway. My sister was standing. and we started using the Ouija board and it started saying very dark things. And I looked at my sister and I saw her lift up and fly back and land flat on the pavement, flat. I saw a lift. Whoa. Yeah. And this is happening. This is not a vision. This is like It actually happened. She fell. Wow. Up, back.

1:00:51And, you know, people are like, well, wait, you don't deal in hauntings. You don't fully believe in hauntings in that way. Here's what I believe. I think about, because I'm a very visual person, I think like, you know, when you go to a party and there's helium balloons on the ceiling and all strings coming down? I think of the world like that with strings. And you can pull any thread you want. you want to pull a scary, haunty, dark thread, it's there. You want to pull love and light, it's there. You want to pull abundance, it's there. You want to pull connecting with spirit, it's there. And everyone has different talents and skills, of course.

1:01:29But we were pulling that thread. And that's what we were pulling to us. So everything is there. But where is your focus? But that was pretty bad. Wow. And my stepmom came home. So there was, so it's a, I guess the Ouija board, there's a spirit that kind of moves. You don't know. I guess. Yeah. I think we pulled a thread. I think we pulled some energy towards us. Yeah. I think we pulled some negativity in towards us. I think we pulled darkness in. I think, you know, it's different when I was going through a spiritual awakening because I was very close with my guides at the time. I still am. And I was working with them so closely.

1:02:08I think I had to be shown something. Totally. Oh my gosh. I wasn't, yeah, I wasn't afraid. But that was like haunting energy. So I remember my stepmom came home and we told her and she was just like, I'm so sick of this. And she cracked it over her knee. As you do. As you do. Yeah, she cracked it. And it's so funny because people that read with me or know me now are just like, you're so not into that stuff. And I'm like, I had to work through it. I had to work through it. Because I had to know that there is so much more to spirit than hauntings, than darkness, than fear. there it is it is so light yeah it is so light wow um just threw that one in there i love it it's juicy isn't it and it's really juicy was your sister scared yeah yeah yeah she was scared and it's so funny because i did a podcast with her recently cool she came on my podcast and we decided we were going to tell that story and as we told it the system we use riverside stopped working and logged us off.

1:03:09Of course. Did you get any message about that? I just got energy, energy of women sitting together and men, not, you know, but energy of women. I mean, it's even written in the Bible, not a religious person, but it's even written when several more people agree on things, you can, can bring that in or something. Right. So I think when you start to create hysteria, upset darkness, I think it grows very easily. And I think our energy together is so intense and it just fritzed it. Totally. It fritzed it. It's very witchy energy when you are blinking lights or fritzing things or right. So it happens and like, you know, I want to talk about that.

1:03:50We were, I think it was before we started, um, just that hysteria piece. Yeah. So maybe I notice it now, maybe since like 2020. Yeah. Um, where like there There will be things kind of inserted into, I don't want to say mainstream. I just want to say like the zeitgeist or like the narrative that like kind of floats around us, maybe particular groups or people, whatever. But for example, we were talking about perimenopause, a very real thing. Yes. And also, I feel like it's what everyone's talking about right now. Everyone. And we were just kind of like chewing on this because I think the conversation, much of the conversation is like, oh, very metaphysical going through it.

1:04:41And like validating that there's other people going through it. But also what's happening where we kind of take that on? There's like a heaviness to it being what we are. Yeah. and like our identity that like, yeah, I don't subscribe to just like putting something on like a jacket and just wearing it everywhere I go. Right. That makes sense. And your experience may be so different. Yeah. Right. And so like it's saying like, okay, this is a horror. That's going to be me. Sure. Right. And it doesn't always have to be. I think it's cool. Like, I felt like I want my husband to read about it. Yeah, totally.

1:05:20Just in case. Just so you have notes. Yeah. Yeah. Just so you have notes. But I hear what you're saying. It's like, does that have to be my only thing? Does that have to be me that's going through that? You know what I mean? At that time. And yeah, there is that hysteria. I think, you know, when we're thinking about like our 20s, that huge transition of like, who am I? And then in our 30s and maybe you're having kids and all the things. And I think when people are getting in their 40s and 50s, they're feeling that shift. And then there's that hormones on top of it. And they're just like, well, that has to also be recognized.

1:05:52And it can be very intense, but it's great that people are talking about it. It's so funny when I think about emerging 30-year-olds. I was thinking about that a lot on the train on my way here. And I remember in my 20s, and this just came up, so I wanted to tell you about it. I remember in my 20s, I was partying. And I started to, when I would get invited to a party or to go out, I would call my sister. This is different sister. And I'd be like, hey, so I got invited to go out and party. Like, do you think it's okay if I go? And she would be like, yeah, I think you can go. Like, what do you have in the morning?

1:06:33And like, I tell her, she'd be like, yeah, go, go have fun. And it was like, I think it was so like untethered at that point because I wasn't a teen anymore and I wasn't an adult and it was so untethered. So I was like, someone give me rules. Someone parent me in my 20s, you know? And so that's when we become that like inner parent a little bit. And I couldn't. I was like, can I go out and party and get crazy? Tell me it's going to be okay in the morning. Yeah. So I think, you know, when we're talking about perimenopause, just bringing it back, I think like there is that 40 something, 50 something where it's just like, can someone validate and tell me like, this is okay?

1:07:16And so I think that might be. Totally. And I think also when people were in their forties and fifties, they were like out to pasture. Like, do you know that golden girls were supposed to be in their forties? I know. You know what I mean? So it was very different. So I think. And I keep hearing that like, as I think I heard Maria Shriver say this, she's like better than ever. Like my life is, you know what I mean? I feel better than ever. My life is better than ever. I think she's 60. Is she something? Yeah. She's Oprah's best friend. Yeah. I love that they're best friends. That is a crew. Yeah.

1:07:51But yeah, I think like there's so much, the rewriting that has to happen at different stages of our life where it's like, yes, there are going to be things that generally are true and happen. And, you know, does it need to be that like out to pasture sentence or does it, or can it be kind of this next level of your relationship with your body or with your partner or with your, you know, it's just, yeah, there's so much opportunity. Yes. People want to hook onto something that is the transition at that time. So like in the twenties, what you're transitioning and hook onto that thirties. And I think perimenopause is helping people at that age kind of hook into this permission.

1:08:33Yeah. Cause it is kind of a dead zone. Yeah. Tradition, meaning, meaning we don't really talk about it. Right. So like, I think it kind of needed that a little bit too, because there is stuff happening. Exactly. Yeah. And so people want that permission. Like, well, this is a transition too. And we can put a face and a name to it. And it's like perimenopause. Right. Sorry to go down that rabbit hole. Sorry. No, it's important. It is important. You've done this for a while. People have grown with you. You are putting out things that I think can resonate with so many people. And it is important if you're an emerging 30-year-old to know that there's many phases in your life where you're emerging.

1:09:12And that's okay. And you're not stuck. And this is not the only time you're going to be emerging. And that there's many phases of life.

1:09:22Revolve is honestly my go-to for everything. I'm wearing all Revolve today. We can go through it in a minute. Everyday outfits, date nights, weddings, even those I want to feel more put together days, I go to Revolve. Now that 2026 is officially here, I've been doing a little wardrobe reset and Revolve makes it super easy. I love their curated edits and the recommended for you section. It actually helps me find pieces that fit my vibe without endless scrolling. I don't like to be on there forever. And I've been loving brands like Lovers and Friends, A. Goldie, and Amanda Uprichard lately and everything just feels like very high quality and effortless.

1:09:59I'm obsessed. So between inclusive sizing, new arrivals daily and fast two day shipping, it's the best with easy returns. It's truly a no brainer. Whether it's a weekend away, a big night out, or just a much needed wardrobe refresh, your dream wardrobe is just one click away. I hope you're watching on YouTube, you will see my full Revolve look. The theme is brown. We have an incredible sweater, these swishy pants, and some Nike. Are these, these are dunks? They're cool, right? They're brown. I love them. Head to revolve.com slash A30pod, shop my edit, and take 15 % off your first order with code A30POD, A30POD.

1:10:42Fast two-day shipping, easy returns, the easiest of all time. it's literally the only place you need to shop from that's revolve.com slash 830 pod to shop our favorites and get 15 % off your first order with code 830 pod offer available for a limited time so happy happy shopping you know how in your 20s your body starts slowing down in ways you don't notice at first definitely started for me in like my late 20s maybe early 30s your joints feel a little stiffer, skin less plump, energy dips. Yeah. Okay. That's when I started paying attention to collagen. Paleo Valley's bone broth protein is made from 100 % grass-fed, grass-finished beef bones, slow simmered from small-scale regenerative farms.

1:11:29They do it right. I am obsessed. I'm like kind of holding myself back because I am so obsessed for their bone broth protein. I actually have it in my little cup over there. I love the chocolate. It is packed with collagen to support skin, hair, nails, gut health, and joints. Plus it's clean. It can be unflavored if you want the unflavored and gently processed with no chemicals at all or additives. I love adding it to coffee, to smoothies, or just hot water like I do with my chocolate. It tastes like a creamy chocolate or vanilla milkshake without the sugar. It's so good. It's basically all the benefits of slow simmered bone broth in 30 seconds, giving you 13 to 15 grams of protein per serving to help you stay fuller and support metabolism.

1:12:18You can head to paleovalley.com slash almost 30 or use the code 830 at checkout for 15 % off your first purchase. Again, my favorite is the chocolate bone broth protein. I will make sure to put this with hot water. Sometimes I'll add like a little dash of milk, even though you don't really need it. They have like a really clean coconut powder in there that gives it that creaminess, but it is so delicious. I'm telling everyone about it. Again, that's paleovalley.com slash almost 30. The code is A30, A30 at checkout for 15 % off your purchase. So it isn't good that we talked about that. Yeah. Let me just validate that for us that we feel good about it.

1:12:59But that's a message I've been getting where it's like life is long. And I know life can end tomorrow, but there's just this feeling that I want to embody more of, which is life is long. And so I don't need to like do it all in my thirties, which is kind of the underlying feeling a little bit, which I know is not true, you know, but yeah, I just, I think we can liberate ourselves a little bit knowing that like our thirties don't need to be the time that we like, you know, get to this point in our career and make all the money. And, um, I'm trying to rewrite that part of my brain and just think of the possibility that like, maybe the thirties aren't that at all.

1:13:44maybe I'm meant to be home with my children more be in the home be with my family and maybe when I'm 50 I'm gonna like record my album that's it do you know what I mean I do know what I'm like why not and you'll feel you will feel so different when you're 45 yes then you do now but you're also like oh but it's still just me I'm still the same person you know what I mean it's still just me and I still love to sing and I want to do that. I couldn't agree more. I feel like for me, I started to be comfortable with myself when I turned 40. Oh, that's great. Love that. 100%. But I'm a slow bloomer in certain ways.

1:14:29Or a late bloomer. I'm a fast bloomer in some ways. Very, way too fast. I just think about like when I was younger, what we were doing, were so wild. There weren't cell phones. Anyway, that's a whole other podcast. Bless her. I remember I told my friend this the other day and she was like, this is the best story. I remember being at a roller skating rink. This was like the hot thing to do. Totally. And I was like in middle school and I remember being in my skates in the bathroom and watching myself smoke a cigarette in the mirror. I was in roller skates. And I'm so sure I was like two feet tall.

1:15:09Just like watching myself and like being in my skates and people coming in the bathroom like. That would have been so me if I like smoked a cigarette. Like I just loved the scene of things. Meaning like I think because I was in theater, I just loved. You were too? Yeah. Well, my mom smoked and she's so elegant. She's from Sweden and she's beautiful. And she was like with her Marlboro lights and I would steal them and go to the roller skating rink and like watch myself in my skates. So, but so I was like a fast bloomer, but also a slow bloomer. And I think I lived like a very child, like kid life for a really long time.

1:15:51So I kind of late bloomed, but when I hit 40, I was like, oh, okay. This is what it's about. I get her a little bit more and she's continuously changing, you know? What is your, as we round out, I would love to just like catch up with you in terms of like, how has what you're doing in the world as far as your work

1:16:15influenced your family and just kind of what's happening at home between you and your husband, between you and your kids? Like, I'm just curious what that looks like. Yeah. I mean, I think, you know, in terms of work with my kids, like I, you know, people ask like, gosh, do your kids ask a million questions and this and that? And like, I think working with my kids, we go at the pace that's appropriate for their soul to process. And when they ask me questions, we just go at an appropriate pace. I don't do not put things on them with spirit at all. Right. And so my son will ask questions and we talk about it and he's very attached to crystals.

1:16:53So I think he puts some spirituality on crystals because that's very tangible. So we go slow and I don't put anything on them at all. But we talk. I think with my husband, I think marriage is a spiritual practice. One of the greatest. I really do. I think it is a spiritual practice. And I notice a lot of young people getting divorced, which I think some of it is like, oh, I have the ick. Goodbye. I don't like you anymore. I do. I think that is some of it. I totally agree. I think some of it is really admirable because they're like, oh, I'm not doing this for another 30 years. This is not a match.

1:17:30And so I really admire that. But I think there's also a component of like this sacredness in committing to something, whether you're married or you're in a committed relationship. And I think what I'm engaging in with my husband, Jeremy, is sacred. I think it's one of the hardest things I've ever done and one of the best things I've ever done. So I think my spirituality is just putting into play in these relationships. I couldn't agree more. And making that as harmonious as possible. And I bump up into parts of myself that I don't like all the time in my responses or lack of patience. So that is spiritual for me to reflect on that.

1:18:10Because what good is a spiritual practice if you can't use it in your life? I know. What good? And a lot of people don't. I think that's kind of like the, that point where you can kind of go down a path and using what you've learned spiritually and continue to like nurture spiritually, you can create a beautiful nourishing life. It doesn't mean it's like void of challenge, but it's like so rich. And then there's the, I don't practice what I learn or preach. And it can be really painful, really painful. I completely agree. And I allow space for people to work on things. I had a teacher that I really cherished and liked and was following very closely.

1:18:54And I met someone that they were friends with or they were friends with their children. And this person was like, oh, you follow blah, blah, blah. Oh, my God. When I was growing up in their house, like he had so many different women in there all the time and was this. And I was so heartbroken and so disillusioned. And I realized, but why? He's not preaching to be perfect or that he's perfect. He is working on things. So I implore people to give others grace. And if people are working on something, they're putting it into practice. And therefore, you can give yourself grace. I am putting this into practice.

1:19:37I am not a guru. I am not a master of spirituality. But I am putting things into practice. Yeah. Yes. So good. This has been a blast. I had so much fun. I'm so glad you're here in person. I could go on for four hours. I don't want it to end. I know. Thank you for having me. Oh, my God. You're so welcome. Trusting me with your beautiful listeners at this amazing time in this journey with everyone who loves and adores you. Thank you for trusting me to be here. Oh, yeah. I trust you implicitly. And I just love. Yeah, there's something that happens when we're together. I know. It's kind of fun. Whatever ride we're on, we're not getting off.

1:20:15I know. Jamie, we're not getting off. And we have surrendered our relationship in some ways. We're like, we're supposed to hang out. I know. How? I know. And then it just, it flows. It's really special. Really, really special. Thank you. How can people connect with you, work with you? what is your like capacity right now? Yeah. So they can go to Erica, Erica Gabriel.com. It's E R I K A G A B R I E L.com. And you can follow me on Instagram at spiritual medium, Erica. And online on my, um, on my website, I have some online courses and tools. I have things that are three weeks. I have things that are five weeks.

1:20:55I have things that are two hours on there. So one of them that's really great right now is connecting to your intuition. It's a three-hour workshop. You own it forever. You can pause it. And people have had really incredible results because when you sit down and say to the universe, I want to connect with my intuition, you're already doing it. And so these are tools to enhance that. So you can work with me that way. You can reach out if you want to have a reading, but get ready. They're not for the faint of heart. I know. Amazing. I love you dearly. Thank you, you too. Thank you all for listening.

1:21:30We'll see you on the next one. Bye.
