1:16You are now tuned into Almost 30 Podcast, and I am grateful that you're here. If you are new to Almost 30, we've been doing this for like 10 years now. Almost 10 years. In September of 2026, we will have been doing almost 30 for 10 years. So when I first started this, I was almost 30. And so that was 10 years ago. So I'm almost 30 for a long time of my life. It's a very long, almost 30 journey. I'm still almost 30. It's crazy how this thing kind of works. It just, I'm forever 28, we'll say. And my name is Krista Williams, and I'm so glad to be with you. I'm so glad to do a solo episode together, us in the car, us on this walk, us joining together in community for this beautiful conversation.

1:59It does not get past me how lucky I am to be in the orbit of you. I have the best community listeners. We have the best community listeners of all time. And you guys are so smart and cool and capable, all of that. So I feel very lucky to have your ears today. And I will not disappoint. Because we're going to be talking about purpose. And we are going to be talking about the misconception that people have about purpose. because I know so many of you want to find and be in your purpose. You want to feel like you are here for a reason, like you know you're made for more, and you know that your soul came here to fulfill something.

2:39You want to feel like your life has meaning and that there's something bigger leading you and that there's a reason for everything that's ever happened to you. I think most of our audience struggles with purpose at various points in their life and feeling like their life has no purpose or they have no purpose. I know for me, that was one of the biggest things that caused me so much pain in my life was feeling like I didn't have a purpose and feeling like there was a purpose that I wanted to have, or my life had to be on some track, or I had to be doing something to feel like I had purpose. And just a little side note for a second, if you're watching on YouTube, my cat is trying to find her little spot in this and trying to trying to find her little nook.

3:24And you might hear purring on the microphone. And that's just the gift that keeps on giving. So my cat is here, Fuji. She's supporting us in this process. She says, what's the point? What is the purpose of life, Fuji? She says to have fun. So my cat and her butthole are pointing to you in the camera if you're watching on YouTube. And we're going to keep ripping on purpose. So the inspiration for this today was something that came through when I was doing a talk in San Diego a few weeks ago where I was thinking about purpose and I was thinking about my purpose here in life. And I'm like, what the heck is my freaking purpose?

3:57Like, what's purpose? Where did my purpose come from? How do I even think about this thing? And what was coming through for me that I think is a misconception that people have around purpose is that people think that purpose comes from talent. They think that, you know, in life, they're very talented at something and that is their purpose. And that is not true. Your purpose does not come from talent. Your purpose often comes from your wounding. And many people get this wrong. I got this wrong for so much of my life. And I've realized in doing what I do and working with women all over the world and being a speaker and a teacher and a podcaster and roles and jobs that I never thought I'd be able to do, that I've been the most on purpose and I've had the most purpose when I actually used my wounding as the inspiration.

4:49I actually used all the things I was embarrassed about or all of the things that have been challenging for me for good. So there's this concept that also supports that in spirituality, and it's called Dharma. One of my dear friends, Sahara Rose, talks about Dharma quite a bit. She wrote a book on Dharma. So Dharma is really one of the oldest spiritual concepts we have. It's thousands of years old, and it comes from ancient teachings of India. But really the word Dharma is Sanskrit and it comes from the root dar, which means to uphold or sustain. And Dharma is really what holds the universe together.

5:20So it appears in the Vedas, in Hindu philosophy, in Buddhism, in Sanskrit, and each tradition really holds the definition differently, but the essence is really the same. So Dharma is the meeting of your soul and how it's engaging with the world, how it's engaging with the universe. And I really like to think of Dharma, you know, in three different ways. It's really what your soul came here to do, the experiences that you've had in your life, and how you alchemize that into purpose. It's how you alchemize and put together and make beautiful the things you've been through in life and what your soul, what your unique soul frequency is.

5:53So we all have our own unique essence, our own unique frequency. This is something I teach at my retreats, True Essence. It's finding that unique soul frequency. And then our souls have each gone through different experiences in life. We've had different types of wounding, different types of traumas, different types of things that have been really challenging for us as humans. I think now in the world, people are talking so much about trauma and complex trauma and all of these different experiences. And it's kind of in this space where it's seeming like all of us are very traumatized. All of us have gone through a lot and all of us are very much in the process of healing that.

6:27And that's, in one way, very challenging to awaken to trauma. But in another way, it's really beautiful because we can see how we can serve the world and serve others. So the important thing that I want to bring through for you that I'm really working with myself is recognizing that your purpose is your unique frequency, your unique essence. It's the things that your soul has been through, and it's how you alchemize those things. None of those things involve talent. None of those things involve anything outside of your control or anything that you do not have within you, that you do not have yourself.

6:56When I think about my purpose in life, and it's funny, I really wanted to find my purpose so bad when I was in the corporate world. I was in the corporate world for like eight years before we started almost 30 and I was really, really struggling. I did not feel aligned to the work I was doing. I did not feel aligned to the environment. I did not feel aligned to the schedule. I did not feel aligned to the water cooler. I did not feel aligned to the happy hours. I did not feel aligned to being on my computer like that. I did not feel aligned to the lingo. I was just, it was not for me. And I could sound like a brat if I say that, but sometimes you got to sound like a fricking brat to like change things in the life.

7:34And I just didn't, it wasn't a fit for me. And I was so miserable. And there was this burning feeling in my body and in my chest to do something with my life, to make my life have meaning. And it was very painful. And I thought I had to go out and find my purpose. I had to find my purpose. I think a lot of us try and find my purpose. And so when I was in the process of trying to find my purpose, I was trying to become a SoulCycle instructor and a blogger and doing all of these different things. I hit my rock bottom in that burnout process. And I met Lindsay, who is now my best friend and co-host and co-founder of Almost 30.

8:08And it was really in an accident, like me not trying, me being myself, me being at rock bottom, that we were turning all the pain that we had been through into our purpose. So I met Lindsay through SoulCycle. I was auditioning to become an instructor. So I was living in New York City at the time. I'll do a little background. I was in the corporate world and the only happiness I got was by going to SoulCycle. I know it's so basic, but literally I got so much endorphin high and I had so much fun and I felt free when I went to SoulCycle during my corporate world job that I decided I wanted to become an instructor.

8:48I was like, I love this. I love the leadership. I love the music. I love the energy. I love the environment. I want to be a teacher in some way. And so I was like, I need to become an instructor. So I did my very best to manifest that. I was doing affirmations on the subway. I was writing it down in my notebook, Crystal Williams SoulCycle instructor. I was getting to know every instructor. I was going to every class. I was befriending the staff so I could get free classes. I was doing my thing. I auditioned for SoulCycle at first in New York City. I didn't get it. And in that process, I recognized that what was hardest for me about the audition besides performing three songs on a bike to a room full of strangers was that I was really uncomfortable on the microphone.

9:33Like when I got in front of that room and I had to put a microphone on, a headset on, like a little Britney Spears headset, I was like, hello. And I almost wanted to like throw my head back into the wall. I could not hear my voice on the microphone. I was like hello and I just was so uncomfortable. I felt so stupid. I felt so embarrassed hearing my voice projected out to a room of people made me want to die and I was like wow and so I think they emailed me that I didn't get the job honestly before I even left the room like I had an email like I don't even think they let my seat get cold. They were like this is not for you honey and I was like okay I need to figure out how to be better on the microphone.

10:19I need to figure out how to be comfortable on the microphone. I need to figure out how to be comfortable with my voice. So for the next year, I decided to take my lunch break on Wednesdays, take a very generous, a very heavy lunch break on Wednesdays, and go uptown and get voice lessons from this guy that did voice lessons and voice training to be better on the microphone for SoulCycle. So I'd go up every Wednesday, take the little train, little subway, little 35 minutes there, 35 minutes back, hour lesson, you know, a budget I didn't have. And we would practice being on the microphone. We would practice dropping my voice in my body.

11:02We would practice vocal exercises. We would practice understanding the voice. We would practice listening to myself talk. And so after I finally, when I finally felt ready to do my second audition, because I was comfortable, I was moving to Los Angeles. And in that process, I wanted to get one second opinion from an instructor before I did my second SoulCycle audition, this thing I thought I was meant to do. I thought I was meant to do this. It was like me performing, me acting, me trying, me da-da-da-da. And I got connected to Lindsay. And someone was like, you should really talk to this girl.

11:37She's a SoulCycle instructor. She can help you. I'm like, cool. So we got on FaceTime. I'm like, hey, tell me about this process. She's like, you should do this song. You should do this, da-da-da-da. and we just hit it off right away. And I went to my second audition for SoulCycle and I didn't get it again. And I was crushed. I was like, this is my purpose. My purpose is this. I wanted this so badly.

12:01And when I didn't get it, I was like heartbroken. And I had connected with Lindsay for the first time. And so we started to connect on my rock bottom where I felt like I was in jobs I didn't hate. I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I was struggling with my body. I was pushing myself to the limit. I was failing becoming a SoulCycle instructor. She was having her own issues. So at our rock bottom point on the closet floor, we decided to record ourselves and create a podcast. And little did I know that what I thought I was working on my voice for was SoulCycle, but it was actually to become a podcast host and use my voice on the microphone every day being myself.

12:41So instead of me feeling like I had to perform, I had to put on a show, I had to be working out, I had to only share parts of myself as an instructor, God was sculpting me to become a podcast host to use my voice on a microphone to be myself and to show all parts of me. And I never really thought Almost 30 would be my purpose. I never really thought becoming a podcast host would be a part of my purpose. I never really thought that I could be myself as a purpose. And I never really thought that I could have multiple purposes. So in not trying and thinking that I had to effort for my purpose and thinking I had to try hitting rock bottom and discovering connection and honesty and authenticity, I actually discovered my purpose.

13:24And it wasn't even like it was like I picked up the microphone with Lindsay in a closet and I was like, this is my purpose. It was years and years into Almost 30 when I was like, this is my purpose. And this is not only just one of my purposes, this is a part of my purpose. And the way that I realized that it wasn't about talent was actually another layer. And that's the layer that relates to Dharma where I grew up in a household where I was pretty neglected and I didn't really feel like I was being connected with. And I really was desperate for connection. If I was an addict of anything, it's connection.

14:02And so the way that I would get connection with, you know, in that household and with someone that was, you know, had narcissistic tendencies or emotionally immature was to ask questions, was to be curious, was to attune to them and was also in a way to self-erase. So the way I'd get moms and dads attention was continuing to ask them questions. Oh, what do you feel about this? How do you feel about this? What's going on with this? Oh, how do you see this? How do you see that? And then also on the other end, when they were answering to listen very deeply and intently list to listen with my fullness, to be very present for them, to be very attuned to them so that I could get that connection from them in that process.

14:44And all of those things were actually very painful for me and very hard for me to unravel the patterns of self-erasure, the patterns of self-abandonment, the patterns of prioritizing other people's opinions over my own, the patterns of listening to other people over myself, the patterns of creating a boundary with someone by asking so many questions that they never get to know me because I'm only getting to know them. Those very difficult wounding experiences became the way that I'm such a great interviewer for Almost 30, became the way that I'm such a powerful person for the podcast and became the way that I'm an amazing podcast host.

15:25So in life, sometimes the most challenging and wounding experiences, being neglected, not being heard, being deprioritized, not being cared for, can lead us to become even more compassionate, even more authentic, even more empathetic, even more kind, even more astute. And I'm sure the same is for you. I'm sure that you have experiences in your life. I'm sure that you have things that you've gone through that have been really challenging for you, that have just expanded your capacity for love and for grace and for possibility and for caring and loving for someone.

There's so much talk about love and dating, and it can feel like everyone else has it all together, whether they're married, coupled, or moving effortlessly through it all. I read something recently that completely reframed how I think about aging, and it has nothing to do with wrinkles or energy levels on the surface. Scientists just identified the first nutritional deficiency in 75 years. It's called cellular fragility syndrome. It's caused by low levels of an essential fatty acid called C15.

17:21And it turns out that this one nutrient plays a huge role in keeping our cells strong and resilient. When C15 levels drop, our cells become fragile. They produce less energy, break down faster, and that can quietly show up as poor sleep, fatigue, and feeling like your body just isn't bouncing back the way it used to. That's why I've been paying attention to Fatty 15. It's a science-backed vegan supplement made with pure C15. And studies show it has broader cellular benefits than omega-3s. It supports long-term metabolic, liver, and heart health by actually helping repair and protect your cells.

17:57I've been taking it for about, I would say, almost a year now. And it's been incredible. I've noticed not only a difference in my skin health, I am getting older and I just feel like I am slowing the process just a little bit. I've noticed a big difference in my energy and just my bounce back rate. It's been great. Fatty 15 is on a mission to replenish your C15 levels and restore your long-term health. You can get 15 % off their 90-day starter kit at fatty15.com slash almost 30 and use the code almost 30 at checkout. Again, that's fatty15.com slash almost 30. 18:40Lately, I've been craving more simplicity, not just in my life, but in my nutrition too. It's really easy to feel disconnected when your cabinet is full of random powders and supplements and you're constantly questioning the labels, but that's why I really love cachava. It helps me simplify and feel more nourished without overthinking it. It's an all-in-one plant-based nutrition shake made with really high quality ingredients. There's no fillers, no artificial flavors or sweeteners, and it actually tastes amazing. Just two scoops will give you 25 grams of protein, fiber, greens, adaptogens, and nutrients that support energy, digestion, strength, and focus.

19:2025 grams of protein is no joke. So I usually blend mine with like a frozen banana and I'll add like a nut milk. I'll, you know, just add kind of my go-to favorite, like different fruits and stuff, but I can keep it simple and it still tastes amazing. Like the other day I mixed the mint chocolate flavor shake with a nut milk and ice and I just shook it up and it was chef's kiss. It's just rich. It tastes so good. It doesn't taste fake like other powders. They've done it right. So rewild your nutrition at cachava.com and use code almost 30. New customers get$20 off an order of two bags or more now through the 31st.

19:59That's cachava, K-A-C-H-A-V-A.com. The code is almost 30.

20:09What's so beautiful about this podcast is that so many people listening to it are healers and teachers and leaders. And many of the people in this podcast are chosen ones. You are people that are here to remember who you are and use it for the greater good and use it to serve. It's not about being better to be a chosen one. It's actually about being responsible. So there's a responsibility that we have as chosen ones, people that remember who they are and are here to serve it as a purpose. The chosen one is simply the person oftentimes who says yes to the call instead of ignoring it. And as Joseph Campbell would say, everyone gets the call, but not everyone answers.

20:47And not everyone answers the call to turn their wounding into their purpose, to turn their wounding and alchemize their wounding into service and alchemize their wounding to have greater compassion, to hold people more deeply, to care for people more deeply. Another example in my life is the metamorphosis program. Metamorphosis is my body liberation program. It's my body transformation program. and that program was born out of my pain. That program was born out of my strife and my suffering with my body. I've suffered with my body my entire life. I grew up in a household where the body was the most important thing.

21:23Weight was the most important thing. And as someone that believed very deeply that what I weighed had to be small and that would be indicative of how much I'd be loved, how much success I had, and how much people paid attention to me. And the wounding from that was growing up in a household where it was really important for me to be thin. And there was so much programming and languaging and actions around being thin. I mean, someone in my house said that the most important thing for their child to be was thin, that their biggest fear was their child would be fat. And so that type of phrasing or that type of belief was just stewing in my subconscious and was very painful.

22:05So that wounding in my life of believing so deeply that my worth was tied to my weight was a wounding that I never thought that I would be able to alchemize into my service in a program where everything that I've learned to be in a body that I love, to come home to a body that I love is now being taught and in service to other people to help them find their body liberation. And so, so much of this conversation that I want to have with you is really the encouragement of first, really knowing yourself to find your purpose. And knowing yourself can be challenging because for many of us, we are always changing.

22:45We are always evolving and we are always growing. And we can change our outfits. We can change our haircut. but we can change our jobs, we can change our friend groups, we can change where we live. But there's often just an essence of us, a core of us, that if we remember who we are, we can sort of turn to that. That can be our North Star or our guide. Inner child work is so important for this because often the inner child has so much access to the essence, so much access to who we are. One practice that I love for getting into my essence or getting into my true essence is thinking about those memories of me when I was little, where I just felt so me and I felt so free and I felt so uninhibited and silly and playful.

23:29For me, that memory is, we were in Gettysburg, like Gettysburg, the war site. And we were just messing around. It was with my family. And I was like standing on some little ledge and I was just doing like a full comedy set, like a full comedy presentation. And at that time, I was swagged out with my eye patch. I had my eye patch on my eye because I had a lazy eye and my eye patch was just so swaggy. It had a flaming soccer ball on it. I wasn't even that good at soccer, to be honest. And I was just like making everyone laugh, being goofy and fun and entertaining everyone and just making joy in the mundane.

24:08And I just kind of double click on that moment when I need to remember my essence is just making joy out of the mundane and having fun at all times and being playful and goofy. And yes, getting attention for sure. I had the attention of the group, but it was something that was like me and my essence and also in service to making people have fun and helping people enjoy themselves more. And so if you want to find your purpose, if you want to really find the reason why you came here to be understanding your own unique codes and your soul and your unique essence is essential. You can do that through astrology.

24:43You can do that through human design. You can do that through the gene keys, but really understanding that is an important part of who you are, an important part of this process. Know thyself. So you can use human design. You can use astrology or gene keys are super helpful for understanding who you are in your essence. And a lot of it's going to be unconditioning yourselves and unlearning all the things you learned about yourself that are incorrect. For one of my dear friends, she has this belief that she's bad, that she's inherently bad or immoral or evil. And it's this belief that she's working on unlearning for so much in her life.

25:16For myself, I have this belief that I'm unworthy or not enough. And when we really can let go of these fallacies, these illusions, these distortions, that's when we really find out who we are. So the more we do in the unlearning work, the more we let go of the labels, the identities, the beliefs, the subconscious loops that are really keeping us from the truth of who we are, the better to understanding our purpose. And the second part is your wounding. And for many of us, we have so much shame around our wounding. You know, we just feel embarrassed about it. And I'll even say with metamorphosis, like, there's a part of me that's so embarrassed that I was bigger and I was heavier and all of these things.

26:04And I shouldn't be telling you that because that would mean that I'm like, there's a part of me that still needs healing. And that's just true. I love that part. I honor that part, whatever. It's true. I've done so much and there's still a part of me. And when we judge and we hide our wounding, we hide such a human element of ourselves. And I found the deepest connection with people, whether I'm at events or retreats or out, even at the grocery store, when I'm really honest and when I'm really truthful about how I'm feeling, what I'm going through, what's real for me. And so your wounding, understanding the things that you've been through and healing the things that you've been through is an essential part of the process to really getting on the path of your purpose.

26:50Your wounding is really the doorway to your purpose because it shapes how you are uniquely qualified to teach, to transform, and to heal because you've been it. This is where we get embodied wisdom. You know those people online where they're like, oh, this thing or that, like, this is how you do inner child work, or this is how you heal this, or this is how you did it. It's like, what are you talking about? You know nothing. You know, you'll be like, that's not real. You don't even know that. But to go through it provides you with the experience to fully embody the healing that you're talking about, the healing that you're teaching.

27:28To go to the bottom and go hit that rock bottom or have the experience is almost sometimes the only way that we embody the true healing that we're here to teach. The wounds also show us where compassion is born. It forces you into deeper self-knowledge, more knowledge of yourself. It also breaks the illusion of who you thought you'd be. It also reveals what truly matters to you. That's true. It also sensitizes you to the suffering of others in a way no one else can. when I sit with people who have gone through pain and suffering and have really, really been there in life, oh my goodness, the way that I feel for them, the way that I honor them, the way that I know the truth has given me such an ability to super connect with people.

28:15Your wounding is oftentimes the fabric of connection between you and people. We just had someone on the podcast today who was talking about, and this is, you know, trigger warning, I guess, if we're still doing that, suicidal ideation. Honey, if anyone knows about that, it's me. And she was just talking about, I was like, we were just crying together because I'm like, girl, I know. I know that pain of that voice and that part of you. And the pain really becomes a training for yourself to understand yourself, to understand the pain, to understand how to alchemize it. and people that have walked through the fire are usually the ones who can walk people through it.

28:56So you being in the process of healing your wounding or healing your wounding is really going to be sometimes the only way to walk other people through it to really serve the world in a way that is going to make impact. Your purpose is not usually the place where you feel strong and polished and you feel like there's like all your talent and like all your gifts and Like I can make a really bomb PowerPoint and I can do a really great deck and I can do a really great Excel document and I can, you know, fold really good laundry. It's like, this is where you once felt powerless and you had to rebuild.

29:28When you alchemize it, your wound becomes the gift. The abandonment that you experienced previously becomes your capacity for connection. The shame becomes your ability to create safety and the heartbreak becomes the power to love without fear. The silence becomes your voice, really. The important thing here is that the wound points towards the work you need to do and the healing points towards the service. Your purpose isn't about you being perfect. It's about alchemizing what you've been through to help others. The people that are the most successful are not usually the people that have the most talent, that have the most gifts.

30:08When you look at the personal development space, When you look at the self-help space, the spirituality space, the space that I'm in, so many of those people have just figured out how to turn their pain into their purpose. Most of them, their stories involve their rock bottoms. Their stories involve the moment they were homeless. They were in debt. They hit rock bottom. They were divorced. They were going through some sort of challenge. And then they learned to alchemize that. Mel Robbins, perfect example, hit rock bottom, was drinking, was in debt, alchemized that pain into discovering how to help herself, and then now teaches many, many others.

30:46It's almost one of those things where it's a part of the initiation process for you to hit that rock bottom, for you to have that moment, for you to have that decision point in your life to choose to heal, to choose to evolve, and to choose to grow beyond the pain that you're in. Another important part of this is you must make the choice to move beyond the wound, to move beyond the story. And this is where people get caught. And now I'm on my sermon shit. I'm about to get sermon on you. Let me just kind of sit up straight. Most people will get caught in the validation of the wound, in the victimhood of the wound, in the decision to believe in the wound, to worship the wound, to be obsessed with the wound, and they will no longer chase or step forward to the healing that they need in order to serve.

31:39So for most people that are not in their purpose, they are still in their wounding. You must ascend beyond your wounding to be in your purpose. I'm not saying you have to be perfect, but you have to figure out how to heal yourself before you heal others. Don't get me started about this space of spirituality and wellness and how many people are still at the place where they're speaking and talking and teaching from their wounding and not from their healing. You do not want to follow, buy from, be in communion with, be in rooms with, be listening to people that are talking from the victim mindset or from their wounding because they are still in their process and they have not yet gone through the fire to teach what they are healing.

32:21And if you want to be someone that is really alchemizing your wounding, the things that you've come through in your life, whether it's divorce, eating disorders, abuse, whatever you've gone through, if you want to alchemize that into service for the world, which will serve yourself too, you must take yourself through the fire and walk yourself through the process and learn to parent yourself and learn to be your own mother and learn to be your own father and learn to be the one that saves you in order to help and save others. When we're thinking about talent and thinking about purpose purely in terms of talent or skill, what you're good at, what you enjoy, what gets you paid.

32:57This is so limiting because talent doesn't necessarily point to what's right or good. You can be really good at something that hurts and harms others. People that are really good at certain things, maybe people in finance or certain careers, could really be hurting and harming others, which goes against your actual dharma. Your service is always in service to the world. Your true service is always in service to the world. So someone can be talented at something that's not in service to the collective. Purpose tied to talent or ego might also lead to burnout, dissatisfaction, or ethical misalignment.

33:33You could be doing something that does not align with your values, especially when it's about success, validation, or external reward. The spiritual or moral question that Dharma actually asks is, what contribution am I meant to give? What is the role I have in supporting my life in harmony and good, not just for self-fulfillment. Talent usually goes through the lens of self-fulfillment. People feel like they're born with it. People feel like they're entitled to it. People feel like they have to work for it. And that is not it. Your dharma is your soul contract, your soul mission here on earth.

34:08And we find it by knowing ourselves, by healing our wounding, and alchemizing that healing to teach and support others. And why is this so important right now? Why am I bringing through this message right now because so many of the spiritual teachers and leaders often talk about 2026 and 2027 as purpose years. These are very pivotal times in the collective. And when I was kind of tuning into this and I was really thinking about purpose and how many people I want to support in finding their purpose and being in their purpose and alchemizing their wounding and embodying themselves, I was thinking about this time on the planet and this time in earth when everything feels like it's changing and shifting and we feel like we're in this interesting time where nothing is really the same.

34:49We don't really know where we're going. We don't really know what's next. And 2026 is about alignment collectively. Any systems that aren't aligned with truth are going to feel so much harder to sustain. They will not be supported by the new energy coming on the planet by God is not, God's like, I got no more energy for these kind of games you guys got going on. It's really going to be a year of stripping away false identities, expectations, anything that is rooted in performance, approval, or survival consciousness will fall apart. This is when the year when your purpose and finding it and being in it is really going to be non-negotiable.

35:30In the new system, in the new paradigm, we will have to be in our purpose. Your purpose will be how we save the planet. You finding your purpose is how we save this planet. And the global shift from this ego-led ambition to soul-led contribution will be a huge acceleration. Many people will feel the pressure. And I think I feel the pressure at times too. Am I living the life I'm meant to live? Am I doing what I came here to do? And just kind of taking a step back for a second, as I'm having a moment processing that, what a beautiful thing that you are a human that wants to make a difference, that wants to live in service, that wants to help other people.

36:13What a freaking gift. What a beautiful thing that your heart and your soul and your being wants to make this world a better place. And I say, I always say, a pure question asked to God, a pure desire heard by God will always be fulfilled. So that pure desire of you to become who you came here to be, to serve others, to live in your purpose, absolutely will be fulfilled because God always answers a pure, pure desire. And in 2027, which is a year that we've been hearing about quite a bit in the spiritual space. And especially in Gene Keys land, we did an episode with Richard Rudd about 2027 and the prophecy.

36:50So you can search 2027, almost 30, and it will come up. 2027 is the year about activation. So 2026 is alignment. 2027 is activation. In human design, like I said, in other esoteric traditions, It's the threshold year. So there's going to be more sensitivity, more intuition, more embodiment. There's less tolerance from an energetic perspective, from the earth perspective for you to live outside of your alignment. Revolve is honestly my go-to for everything. I'm wearing all Revolve today. We can go through it in a minute. Everyday outfits, date nights, weddings, even those I want to feel more put together days, I go to Revolve.

40:10I feel like for a long time, money felt way more stressful than it needed to be. Your purpose becomes the organizing principle and not the byproduct. So your purpose is the organizing principle of your life. It's not a byproduct of you being aligned. So you will have to be in the purpose that you came here to be. So individuals and ourselves, you and me, will have to shift from how do I succeed in the world as it is to how do I embody the truth of my soul that I came here to anchor.

42:25So this is when all your preparation that you've been doing in this lifetime, all the healing you've been doing will require you to step forward. 26, training year, alignment. You really, really taking this seriously, 2027, center stage, baby. You've got this, seen and heard, like my mastermind. This means spiritually that purpose isn't a career move anymore. It's really your sole contract. So your sole contract for coming into this lifetime, for being alive at this time is going to be essential and it's going to be really highlighted. It means that your path is more loud. Your path, if you are off your path, it will be more painful than ever.

43:00One thing I'll say about living a life of alignment and I live a life of such alignment that when I am a little bit off, girl, let me tell you how much that hurts. I have one judgmental thought and I'm sent over the moon. Okay. I live in California. It is like, oh my God, you get me a little bit out of alignment. And I'm like, oh, because my body and my soul is talking to me all the time. She's like, I want you to stay aligned. We need you to stay aligned. Hiding will become more painful for you than risking being seen. and I'm pointing to you at the camera. This is huge. This is why I'm doing the visibility work because you will no longer be okay with hiding.

43:47You will no longer be okay with hiding. You will know that you need to risk being seen in its time. Your gifts will be meant to live publicly. You will need to be in a space where you're using your gifts publicly. You are sharing your gifts with the world. You are sharing your gifts to heal. You are in a space where your gifts are one of the most important part of your experience and sharing them with the world is one of the most important parts. So if you've already been feeling restless in your life, if you want to find your purpose, and I'm sure you do if you've been listening to this podcast for this long, you feel restless.

44:20If you feel dissatisfied or like the life you built doesn't match who you are now, you are right on time. If you feel like you have shifted and changed and your outer reality is not reflecting that. You are right on time. Because in these years, your purpose is going to be impossible for you to ignore. It's no longer like, I'm looking and I found it or like, oh my God, I'm in my purpose. It's like, it will be impossible for you to ignore. It is going to be so uncomfortable for you to live outside your purpose. And so your work right now this year is going to be finding who you are, healing yourself, and sharing those gifts with the world.

44:56because your purpose becomes optional when your soul remembers why it came to earth. The moment I recognized I had a soul that came here for purpose and mission and that I was not going to, there was no chill zone for me. There was no chill for my soul, that my soul was not going to let me chill. It just became a non-negotiable. This was the path I was on. And for so many people that are chosen ones, and again, it's not a better or worse, it's just a spiritual phrase. For the chosen ones, you will not rest until you find your purpose. You will not rest until you're here in service. You will not rest until you're doing what you came here to do.

45:35Your gifts here and the things that you've been through, the essence that you have is not random. Your unique gifts, the essence that you have is not random. It is not random. They are time-sensitive instructions for your soul here on earth. Your gifts are not random. They are time-sensitive instructions for your soul here on earth. And this will be the time that you end up using it. And there's a moment when the pretending ends, all of the pretending about spirituality and pretending you're powerful, pretending that you know, pretending you're confident ends, and you really have to step into the true embodiment of who you are and what you came here to do.

46:10Because your wounding and the things that you've been through is not the end. it is your initiation. And when you can see it as that, when you can see it as such, you will move through life with so much power and so much confidence and so much support from your guides and angels and God, it is going to be absolutely crazy. And so 2026, baby, you're going to see all of these parts of you die, all of the fakeness die, all the performing die, all the showing die, everything that's not going to fit is going to die. And 2027 is going to be what is going to rise, who is going to rise, how are we going to rise, how are we going to serve the earth and step into a purpose and place where we feel so proud to be who we are, to have our own essence, to gone through what we've gone through, and to serve the earth in the new paradigm.

46:57And so if you want to support yourself in this process, buy my course new paradigm. Just kidding. That was like a perfect little landing there. You know, I was like, it's like when they were like, oh yeah, if you want more, buy my course. No, but I really, I do want to land on that powerful note. I do want to land at that place because what I really wanted to bring through in this process was just like a permission slip for you to remember that like your purpose is not talent and it's not something that you're missing. And it's not something that you, they forgot to give you, God forgot to gift you with talent.

47:28And now you're just floundering. No, your purpose comes from your wounding. Your purpose comes from your unique soul essence and your purpose comes from your alchemy of that. in service to others. So you now in this moment, who you are, has every single thing you need to serve the world, every single thing you need to serve your purpose. And now is the time. It is going to become more and more painful for you to hide. It is going to become more and more painful for you to sit on the sidelines. It is going to become more and more painful for you to not become who you came here to be. And I am so here for it, baby.

48:00This is my dream. This is why I came here to help you. And I can't wait. 2026 is going to be a beautiful, powerful, pivotal year for you. And I'm praying that it is the year where every single thing that you want that is good will ever happen to you. That is my wish. That is my hope. That is my... You know how in your 20s, your body starts slowing down in ways you don't notice at first? Definitely started for me in like my late 20s, maybe early 30s. Your joints feel a little stiffer, skin less plump, energy dips. Yeah. Okay. That's when I started paying attention to collagen. Paleo Valley's bone broth protein is made from 100 % grass fed, grass finished beef bones, slow simmered from small scale regenerative farms.

48:42They do it right. I am obsessed. I'm like kind of holding myself back because I am so obsessed for their bone broth protein. I actually have it in my little cup over there. I love the chocolate. It is packed with collagen to support skin, hair, nails, gut health, and joints. Plus it's clean. It can be unflavored if you want the unflavored and gently processed with no chemicals at all or additives. I love adding it to coffee, to smoothies, or just hot water like I do with my chocolate. It tastes like a creamy chocolate or vanilla milkshake without the sugar. It's so good. It's basically all the benefits of slow simmered bone broth in 30 seconds, giving you 13 to 15 grams of protein per serving to help you stay fuller and support metabolism.

49:31You can head to paleovalley.com slash almost 30 or use the code 830 at checkout for 15 % off your first purchase. Again, my favorite is the chocolate bone broth protein. I will make sure to put this with hot water. Sometimes I'll add like a little dash of milk, even though you don't really need it. They have like a really clean coconut powder in there that gives it that creaminess, but it is so delicious. I'm telling everyone about it. Again, that's paleovalley.com slash almost 30. The code is A30, A30 at checkout for 15 % off your purchase. Lately, I've been paying way more attention to fiber and protein and realizing how hard it can be to hit those without giving up the foods that I actually love like bagels and toast and tacos and all the bready things.

50:21So that's why I started swapping in Hero Bread. Y 'all, Hero Bread has changed my life, Krista's life. I just went to LA and she was all over Hero Bread. She was having the bagels every day with her lunch. She normally has a little soup. She had the bagels. It was amazing. It makes it so easy to upgrade everyday meals. So my avocado toast, the bagel sandwiches, the wraps for lunch without feeling restrictive, The texture surprised me the most, I think. It is soft, fluffy, and tastes like traditional bread. It doesn't taste like something you're like, hmm, this is like a really bad copy of bread.

50:57It's so, so good. You'd never guess. It has zero to five grams of net carbs per serving, zero grams of sugar, and is high in fiber. Plus, things like their breakfast bagels have 19 grams of protein. Okay, that's a lot. That's amazing. Eurobread has sliced bread, tortillas, which are some of my favorites, bagels, even small batch drops like their croissants, which are unreal, and biscuits. So whatever you're craving, there's an option that fits your goals. I'm excited for you to try Hero Bread. If you want to hit your goals this year without giving up your favorite bready dishes, Hero Bread is offering 10 % off your order when you go to hero.co, H-E-R-O dot C-O, and use the code A30POD at checkout.

51:41That's A30POD at checkout at hero.co, H-E-R-O dot C-O. Dream in my desire for you. At almost 30, we're going to be having more amazing conversations, more amazing episodes, more solos with Lindsay and I. I love just ripping. I love getting on here. I love sharing with you authentically and vulnerably about things that I'm going through and just being a space and place where I hope you feel safe and I hope you get something. Plus, Krista explains the ancient concept of Dharma, rock-bottom awakenings, and why 2026–2027 will be pivotal years for women ready to answer their soul’s calling. If you’ve been searching for meaning, this conversation is the wake-up call you’ve been waiting for.
