It's just really incredible work that you'll probably want to watch more than once because it doesn't just inform, it activates something deeper. 1:16Hello and welcome to Almost 30 Podcast. It's me. It's your girl Krista. And I am really excited because we're just going to have a little kiki today. I'm just going to kind of go in on something I've been thinking about quite a bit. On the show, we have amazing thought leaders and guests and teachers and authors that come on. We've had some of the biggest and best in the biz over the past 10 years. We also have conversations just between Lindsay and I, where it's just two girlfriends catching up. And then we also like to do solo episodes. And that's what we're going to do today. And in these solos episodes, it's either a teaching, something that I'm learning and going through, something that I'm feeling excited to teach.

1:54And then sometimes I just like to like get a pulse check of what's going on. I like to just share very vulnerably and openly about what's going on in my life and what I'm thinking about right now. Since we're all sort of in the same collective consciousness here for all on, I'm just always curious if you guys are thinking about the same thing. So personal development, spirituality, and wellness is the show. And today is going to be all of those things. So this conversation that we're going to have was inspired by a trip I was taking on Saturday. So I was driving down the PCH in here in California, where I live.

2:25I live in Los Angeles. and first of all, just saying my little girl from Ohio, whenever I'm driving on the PCH is always like, this is so cool. Like I still am like, whoa, look at me in California, Malibu, Laguna Beach. All the shows that I grew up with, I'm watching on MTV and all of that. I still have that moment. So I'm having my little moment. I'm driving on the PCH and I'm talking to a friend and we just get on the phone and we just start our normal like deep dive debrief, like processing, just going in it. And she is going through this super deep process in her life of addiction and codependency.

3:05And then I'm going through my own deep dive of relationship shifts and changes and healing and just discovering these other parts of myself and my psyche and my father wound and all this stuff. And we just like go in. And I was just saying to her, I'm like, God, it is just, it never ceases to amaze me how in literally a week's time, like in the last week, I've gone through like father wound healing, a deep trauma that I'm still looking at, like these patterns that I'm in, you know, and I'm navigating these like hard conversations with people and also trying to build a business and be in service and all of that kind of stuff.

3:47And it feels like sometimes in a week's time or even a day's time, I've lived 20 lifetimes. It feels like by every day, I've had some major realization or some major awakening or aha about myself and my life. And it just seems like it never stops. And after I get off the phone with her, I go to a lunch with another friend. And we were just in it. And this one is this woman that I was with is one of the most like powerful process people I know. And so we just get in it. And I was just like talking about this experience that I was recently in. That's been so transformative and powerful and hard and challenging and confronting and awakening.

4:35And just kind of when you're someone that's done the work for a long time, you know, you at some point are like, I'm good now, right? Like once you've kind of gone through something really deep, like when I woke up to codependency and the patterns that I had been in, in codependency, that was really deep for me because that kind of runs in all areas of your life with work, with friends. Like it's not like you're just codependent in a relationship oftentimes. And I remember being like, okay, we're good now, right? Like codependency, that was it. Now we can like move on and like fulfill our purpose.

5:06And we're all good now. And that is never what it, that's never what it is. The healing literally never stops. The awakening feels like it never stops. The challenges feel like they never stop. The downloads feel like they never stop. And all of this like unearthing of things and dynamics and all of that just feels like it continues. And I feel like I have gone through so many different transformations and phases and stages and relationships and situations in my life. And it is so beautiful to have such a rich life. You know, it is so beautiful to have such a dynamic life. And at times I find myself absolutely exhausted and feeling like I'm insane and feeling like I am on this wild adventure that my soul is so excited to be on.

5:59And I'm just like sometimes dragged along for the ride of whatever it is that my soul wants to do. And it just can be so weird at times. Like it can feel so weird at times to be the type of soul that I am. Like an old soul, chosen one is, you know, there's Christian mystics that talk about that. It's not like I'm chosen one like Jesus, but just a soul that came here to do a lot of work, that came here to incarnate, to transmute energy and alchemize and that came here to learn through suffering, that came here to learn a lot. An old soul that just has such a richness in my inner world too. And this is for like all the deep feelers.

6:42I know there's so many deep feelers that listen to this show. There's so many people that have so much richness and depth. I've met so many of you. I've coached and worked with so many of you. And I've gotten to experience, you know, your internal landscape and you've experienced mine a lot on the show. And when there's so much happening, you know, in your own mind, and even in when I speak to and talk to and connect with so many people in their minds, I'm like, this world is so crazy. And I think what I've landed on is that I've been having recently one of those moments where I am an alien. I'm having like an alien watching myself moment where I'm just like, this life is crazy.

7:24And there's so much, and there's so much depth, and there's so much richness, and there's so much joy to be had, and sorrow to be had, and grief to be experienced, and all of that. It's like everything, everywhere, all at once,

7:38sometimes. And I don't know if I've ever had a time in my life where I haven't felt the spectrum where I haven't felt immense grief with immense joy and playfulness and then

8:00sorrow. And just like the spectrum of emotions for me is felt in every moment on every day at all times. And again, the chances that you're listening to this, and if you don't get it, I'm crazy and I'm manic and this is a symptom. I completely understand that thought process, but I just had to speak to it because I know that there's so many people that listen that have a rich internal dialogue, have a deep internal landscape, feel like they're here on purpose, feel like they're made for more, feel like their soul is an old soul that just feels things more deeply and more intensely. If you guys have ever seen those like viral reels of people where they're like me when I just say anything to anyone, and then it's the audio of the person that's like sharing about their whole life.

8:56They're like, and then I was three and my dad left and we went to this house and, you know, goes on and on and on. And you're one of those people that like everyone opens up to and shares every single thing about their life and their experience. I mean, that is me to an absolute T. I recently went somewhere with someone and we got dropped off at the airport and we got out of the Uber and he was like, I want you to know that what just happened in the Uber was not normal. And I was like, what? We get in the Uber, the Uber, I'm talking to him and he's like, yeah, you know, I used to be in a gang.

9:31And I'm like, oh my God, talking about the gang. And then we're talking about prison. And then we're talking about inmates. And then we're talking about like pedophiles in prison. And then we're talking about like his trauma. And like, we just go in and in and in. And it's so weird because he gets out and he's like, that's like not normal. And he's not saying it bad, but he's like, that just doesn't normally happen. And I don't know how to not be me. Like, I don't know how to be in that situation and be like, this is weird. We shouldn't be doing this. We shouldn't be taught. Like, I'm just like, this is what's true.

10:05And this is what's real. And this is like what it is right now. This is what's happening. I'm not trying to get over this man. I'm not trying to like get information from him. I'm not trying to like tell on him. I'm not trying to like judge him. I'm just like, whoa, like lend me your ears of like this amazing rich life that you as an Uber driver have lived and all of these experiences and all of this. Like, I just like, whoa, I'm like watching the movie of this man's life. And again, this is very Pisces. I'm a Pisces. This is also very Pisces where I'm kind of like in that world. But when you are someone that is a deep feeler and an old soul, you know, the ones who have lived like a thousand lifetimes and feel like you live a thousand lifetimes in a day, the people that are constantly shedding skins, that are constantly becoming, that are constantly healing, that are constantly remembering, you're not broken.

11:02Like there's not something wrong with you that you feel like you're always growing. You're always evolving. You're always changing. You're always onto the next. You're always kind of like in a transition phase. You're always in like your own metamorphosis. Some souls are truly meant and built for transformation. And I have a little bit of emotion coming up there. Like even in my eyes are watering and that's what happens in sessions with clients when I'm like really experiencing truth is that your soul is literally here to transform and to evolve and to grow. It's just a part of your texture. It's a part of who you are.

11:41And when you can accept that and embrace it and just own it, life is going to get so much better for you. Right after my divorce in 2023, I remember going through, I don't even, you guys, honestly, it was the best year of my life. That was like the best year of my life. I had done so much healing and grieving before. And so I was like ready to fly. I had my own like metamorphosis process. You guys saw that, like how much I changed, how much I evolved. I'm a totally different person. I shape shifted. And, you know, I did, I have metamorphosis program, which is my body liberation program, my body transformation program.

12:16And it was like, oh, this is my metamorphosis. Like, you know, you go in the cocoon and you die and you like learn that you unlearn the habits and the patterns and you completely transform your body and who you are. And it's so true that you do in the program and you do through the process. And I was like, dang, okay. Cause I don't know if my metamorphosis is over. I looked at my astrology in January, early January. And it was like, this year is called the metamorphosis. And I was like, that was two years ago. I was like, this year is not the metamorphosis. This year is when I fly. Like, no, I was so sad.

12:56I was like, I'm flying this year. I'm leaving the nest. I am not in a cocoon. I'm not in a metamorphosis. I want to be done. I thought I had been done with my metamorphosis. And I was just like, God, oh, Carrie. And every single year has felt like that for me. Every year I'm like, this year's harvest year. This year's my best year yet. Like, dude. And then it's just like, lesson, learning, growth, grief, you know, transformation. And I'm just like, God, okay. Like, give me a fucking break. I just give me one. I want one. I want one day without a revelation. I want one day without an earth shattering discovery about something, you know, like, but it is like some people came to earth to stabilize, to enjoy, to just like chill, to go to fricking Outback Steakhouse every Friday.

14:00It's where I used to work in Ohio. Have happy hour, make pizza Saturdays, watch the game, you know, be in their routine. I have a dear friend from home and it never ceases to amaze me. Like, I'm just like, yo, how do you live your life? She stayed in our hometown. She works at the high school we went to. Every Friday night, they have pizza night. Every Sunday, they go to church. Every Saturday, they go to the park. Like, that's the flow. That's life. And they are happy as clams. okay? Sometimes I'm like, I'm jealous. I'm like, bro, I wish, I wish I could do that, but I'm not. Some people, people like myself, people probably like you came to earth to transmute, to clear, to awaken and to evolve.

14:54So some people are here to stabilize and enjoy. Even if they're, you know, there's people that are stabilized and enjoying and there's people that are like stabilized and like suffering. But we are here to transmute, to clear, to awaken, and to evolve. It's just that simple. You got to accept it. Your soul came here to do other things that other people are not going to do. Neither is better. They are different assignments. My soul came here on assignment. We had Lee Harris on the podcast a few years ago, and he's like, yo, your soul was circling earth for a long time. And when she knew to come in, she was like, all right, now's my time.

15:35And you came in with mission. You came here on purpose. You came here with a discomfort in your body because you know that you came here to do something. And that's just what it is. It's what it is. It's funny because you think it's like, oh, cool. You learn a lot and you grow a lot and you evolve a lot. Like, no, dude, this has been painful mentally for so long. I'm very happy and peaceful now, but to be honest, it's not always fun. And if you feel like you're always outgrowing yourself, if you're emotionally deep, if you're sensitive to energy, if you are restless in normal life or normal structures, and you're called toward healing and meaning, you are likely wired for transformation.

16:21There is specific textures of people that are wired for transformation.

I read something recently that completely reframed how I think about aging, and it has nothing to do with wrinkles or energy levels on the surface. Scientists just identified the first nutritional deficiency in 75 years. It's called cellular fragility syndrome. It's caused by low levels of an essential fatty acid called C15.

17:47And it turns out that this one nutrient plays a huge role in keeping ourselves strong and resilient. When C15 levels drop, our cells become fragile. They produce less energy, break down faster, and that can quietly show up as poor sleep, fatigue, and feeling like your body just isn't bouncing back the way it used to. That's why I've been paying attention to Fatty 15. It's a science-backed vegan supplement made with pure C15. And studies show it has broader cellular benefits than omega-3s. It supports long-term metabolic liver and heart health by actually helping repair and protect your cells. I've been taking it for about, I would say almost a year now.

18:27And it's been incredible. I've noticed not only a difference in my skin health, I am getting older and I just feel like I am slowing the process just a little bit. I've noticed a big difference in my energy and just my bounce back rate. It's been great. Fatty 15 is on a mission to replenish your C15 levels and restore your long-term health. You can get 15 % off their 90-day starter kit at fatty15.com slash almost 30 and use the code almost 30 at checkout. Again, that's fatty15.com slash almost 30. 19:11Teflon, PFAS, all that stuff that can leach into your food and home. That's why I've been loving Our Place. Their cookware is toxin-free, high-performance, and honestly very beautiful. The four-piece cookware set is such a game-changer. I love it so much. I even display it on top of my stove top because it's just so pretty. It comes with two always pans and two perfect pots, which are coming in different sizes. It's great. They replace a whole pile of bulky cookware, letting you saute and sear, fry, roast, boil, basically everything, all in just four pieces. And I wanted to mention the Wonder Oven.

19:46It's an air fryer and toaster oven in one. It's sold out eight times for a reason. Cooking at home feels simpler, safer, and actually enjoyable. 20:16So again, if you are someone that's always outgrowing yourself, if you are emotionally deep, if you're sensitive to energy, you're restless in normal structures like corporate world killed me, bro. School killed me, bro. Monogamy killed, just kidding. I'm just kidding. I like monogamy. I'm a non-mess. I'm just kidding. Church killed me, bro. You are likely wired for transformation because you know that you came here to evolve and shift. There are actually a lot of spiritual traditions that speak to this. And one of the, you know, the first concepts I heard about this was from C.S. Lewis, who wrote Carnicles of Narnia.

20:50C.S. Lewis was actually a really powerful Christian mystic, and he talks about the concept of the chosen ones. Neville Goddard has his own sort of flavor of this as well, and it's souls that came here to evolve and grow. You're like, came here chosen to help earth and the planet evolve and grow. You lead by example. In Hinduism, it's like your dharma, your sats, your dharma, your samskara, which is your karmic curriculum chosen for growth. So your dharma is a part of the karmic curriculum you choose on this planet to grow. And honey, we got a lot of karmic growth happening for us, clearing a lot of, I've said that before, I've said in healing sessions, I chose to clear a lot of karma in this lifetime for myself, for other people.

21:37And sometimes you're really doing that. And yogic philosophy too, some people evolve through friction. That's how they evolve. A lot of humans actually usually evolve through friction. If you think about a seed that grows into a flower, it is evolving into a flower through friction. It is breaking out of the shell. It is breaking in the soil. It is breaking through the crust of the earth and it is breaking, going up towards the sun. And so a lot of what is happening in nature is evolving through friction. That is sort of how we work and we evolve. And in some mysticism, there are the concepts of things called old souls and light workers.

22:14So there's also this kind of concept and idea. And I think there's a book, I forget who the author was, but he has a book for old souls and he has numbers related to the old souls, but you can be an old soul that came here for more on this planet and came here to do more. And I'm actually not even saying that if you're an old soul, you are going to have a lot of transformation, growth, clear, a lot of karma. Like I bet you some Old souls are literally like, I'm chilling. I'm chilling on a farm, like on this lifetime. And my vibration is just raising earth and that's what I'm doing. So it's not even like you're that, you're better or anything like that.

22:49It's just like your curriculum here is different. And your curriculum here is just advanced or heavier. Like you took a lot longer load in this and internal family systems even, which is what I practice and teach. It's a psychotherapy technique. It talks about how you can be more mature as a soul or being and have more depth and richness because you've been carrying emotional responsibility in your life. So there's even like a psychotherapy relation to it. There's also regression teachings that is like past life regressions that actually talks about old souls who incarnate to clear ancestral and collective patterns.

23:26So it's been weaving through different spiritual traditions in different parts of what we learn about in spirituality. But I think for me, it's you really thinking about who you are in this lifetime and whether that's you learning about it through experience, through journaling, through therapy, through astrology, through human design, whatever it is, you know, even solitude. How about that? How about it? Even getting quiet. It's really understanding and accepting who you are at the deepest level. And I think when I was fighting this aspect of who I was, when I was like kind of in the pain of it and kind of in the risk.

24:03It was almost like I just was, I was victim to it. Like I was like, this is really painful. Like to always, to never be satisfied, to never feel like I'm done, to always know that there's more growth to be had, that there's more of me to be expressed, that there's more life to be lived. There's more love to be had. There's more joy to be experienced. Like there's more depth to my feeling. There's more depth to this experience is like fun and also not, but it does make life stunning and beautiful. And that's related to a lot of the empath work. You know, when we talk about someone that's an empath or highly sensitive, and I know people can have vibes on that word, but like you are someone that has a richer texture to your life because you are receiving so much more sensory input, whether it's through lights, taste, touch, smell, sight, sound, that is amplified for you.

25:00And that is more intense for you than potentially other people. And so not only is life more rich and more interesting, music is richer, music is more interesting, like, you know, sights and textures are just even more intense. It also means that it can be overwhelming at times. So it's kind of that same type of vibe where things can be just as incredible and beautiful and also really, really hard. I also really want to bring this through too, because I want to give some hope that transformation often precedes purpose. So your transformation precedes your purpose. So me teaching metamorphosis, the body transformation program, I had to go through my own spiritual fire with that.

25:39I had to suffer so much in my life with my body and with food and with all the elements that go along with that for me to be able to alchemize, understand that, and then eventually teach it. So your transformation that you're in right now is proceeding an important aspect of your purpose. And I never want you to forget that because your pain has purpose. This is a really important thing that we understand and that can really help us. And this is why I love spirituality period, because it can really help us take us to this knowing that like, this is for purpose. Like, thank you. What a pleasure.

26:14Oh my God, what is next? Like, this can only be good. That's one of my favorite phrases. This can only be good. I just went through something really challenging. And I was like, you know what? As painful as this is, this can only be good. And in the Bible, Jesus says to whom much is given, much is required. And Jesus actually entered the wilderness before his ministry. So Jesus actually was away, not teaching for a very long time. Jesus waited until he was called clearly by God in his 30s and did not really teach or have ministry before that. Jesus had to wait first for the call and also went into the wilderness.

26:53This is a part of the hero's journey. You know, Joseph Campbell talks about quite a bit, but going to the wilderness is like you choosing that path of transformation, you choosing to be forged through fire, you choosing refinement through fire. A lot of your transformation you're going through right now is your refinement through the fire. How are you facing the current challenges that you're in? How are you meeting what is coming to you in your life? Because that is going to show you what you can hold in your next step. If you cannot hold what you currently have in your life, you will never be given more.

27:28If you cannot hold what you currently have in your life, you will never be given more. And so you really need to work with the energy of what is this transformation showing me? What is it teaching me? How can I still hold joy? And how can I still hold groundedness and peace and trust in this process? The Bible also speaks to dying of the old self. It also speaks to becoming a new creation. And it really talks about that transformative process that we can go through as humans. Richard Rudd, who's one of my favorite teachers of the Gene Keys, I just love him. I feel like he embodies what he practices and preach.

28:03He says that some people are actually encoded for accelerated evolution. It's just part of their code. It's part of their nature. They are here to grow and evolve and they are here for accelerated evolution. Their shadow becomes their gift, much like Dharma. Gift becomes service. This is what Dharma actually is. Suffering becomes alchemy. For so many of you that have suffered almost more than other people, that have felt more than other people, that becomes your alchemy. I know in the experience of my dad and him being sick, he has Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. I know that's going to be a part of how I help people and how I hold more compassion and hold more kindness.

28:46And

28:51yeah, it makes me emotional.

28:56because it's such a gift to live a spiritual life and have that truth of like, God, this is so painful and have the depth and ability to feel that pain and not run and be like, no, like, this is good. This shows how much I love. And then also be like, wow, like all of it was for good. All of it was for reason. Like I was never lost. I was never forgotten about in this process of grief. Like this was actually for me and for my service and for others. And it's just such a beautiful thing. Like what a beautiful thing to think about your suffering becoming alchemy. What a beautiful gift. A Course in Miracles even talks about the fact that some minds awaken earlier in this process and that their time is used for learning and every healing ripples outward.

29:50So the healing that you do as a deep feeler, as an old soul, as someone that is on a path of deep growth and transformation and alchemy, all of the healing that you're doing ripples outward to the collective and to the world. And that is one of the most important things is that I think we forget the importance of our own healing, the importance of our own process, the importance of loving and being with what is and honoring our deep transformation and knowing that the alchemy that we are doing in this lifetime reverberates for ourselves, our ancestors, our family, and the collective. So our burden of going through and growing through so much and feeling so much is for good, for ourselves, for our family, and for other.

30:34Honestly, this feeling can feel so empowering and good like I just felt with the experience with my dad. And it also can feel insane to be someone that grows and evolves so much that's in seasons of transformation all the time because you dismantle different identities. Like, dude, you dismantle identities over and over again. Like I've dismantled girl boss. I've dismantled podcast host. I've dismantled corporate girly. I've dismantled marketing girly. I've dismantled events person. I've dismantled blogger. I've dismantled wife. I dismantled good girl. I dismantled rebel. I dismantled like people pleaser, like Krista.

31:33It's like you really grieve old identities all the time and you grieve these aspects of you and these versions of you. Revolve is honestly my go-to for everything. I'm wearing all Revolve today. 33:29Lately, I've been paying way more attention to fiber and protein and realizing how hard it can be to hit those without giving up the foods that I actually love, like bagels and toast and tacos and all the bready things. So that's why I started swapping in Hero Bread. Y 'all, Hero Bread has changed my life, Krista's life. I just went to LA and she was all over Hero Bread. She was having the bagels every day with her lunch. She normally has a little soup. She had the bagels. It was amazing. It makes it so easy to upgrade everyday meals. So my avocado toast, the bagel sandwiches, the wraps for lunch without feeling restrictive.

34:08The texture surprised me the most. I think it is soft, fluffy, and tastes like traditional bread. It doesn't taste like something you're like, this is like a really bad copy of bread. It's so, so good. You'd never guess it has zero to five grams of net carbs per serving, zero grams of sugar, and is high in fiber. Plus things like their breakfast bagels have 19 grams of protein. Okay. That's a lot. That's amazing. Hero Bread has sliced bread, tortillas, which are some of my favorites, bagels, even small batch drops like their croissants, which are unreal, and biscuits. So whatever you're craving, there's an option that fits your goals.

34:49I'm excited for you to try Hero Bread. If you want to hit your goals this year without giving up your favorite bready dishes, Hero Bread is offering 10 % off your order when you go to hero.co, H-E-R-O dot C-O, and use the code A30POD at checkout. That's A30POD at checkout at hero.co, H-E-R-O dot C-O.

35:16You know, in 2020, I think, quite a year for us all, struggled quite a bit that year. And I remember doing a mushroom ceremony. I haven't done plant medicine in quite a while, but I was doing a ceremony and I remember walking. It's so interesting. I always have my little downloads walking. And I remember walking across the floor in this kitchen. We were in ceremony, but I usually go alone. Like I kind of got to be alone for my, for my ceremony because people will be using and abusing my energy, bro. So I got to go alone. I got to get away from y 'all. And I'm walking to be alone. And I heard myself just grieve like, wow, I loved this version.

35:58Like, whoa, I loved her. Like, wow, I really like did everything I could to make myself proud before that moment. And she was great. Like she did her best. And I really felt myself letting that version go. And that version was a more codependent, people-pleasing, efforting, trying, contorting version, like said with love. And it was just this like real reckoning and realization, like I'm going to continue to die to myself and previous versions of myself and grieve my old version, but not be in my future version and like have this push pull all the time. And it's so beautiful and special and just no words to describe that, you know, like what else is life about but experiencing and doing it all.

36:47And we will be dismantling identities like you will be often. And that means reintroducing yourself and the new identity to friends and family, to yourself. That means letting go of old versions to other people, to yourself. You also feel insane because you have nervous system updates. Your nervous system updates with the new information. So with the new identities, new information online, your nervous system is going to be going through its own thing. Sometimes my mind has been in a place. My body is not. My nervous system has not been there. My nervous system has been needed to come back into this new reality, into the future reality.

37:28And working on the nervous system to be comfortable with this version and also the expanded version is huge in this process. So definitely focusing on that for anyone that feels like they're really resonating with this now. Your relationships will also change if you're someone that's like this. Like, it's just, it is what it is. Like, you're always changing, growing, evolving. Like if people aren't keeping up, it's hard. It's hard to keep up. Like a grief that I had, God, I've had this grief many times. And again, bringing in the room, I sound insane, but this is the richness of my, of my experience.

38:07I remember I've grieved many times, like, fuck, Like another person, another relationship lost because of my growth trajectory and every romantic relationship I've left or that's left me is like that person has stayed where they were and stayed who they are. And they kind of plateaued and even friendships, you know, like said with, said with love. but like a lot of my work now is not putting everyone on my back of growth, pulling everyone along. Like it is so good over here, but they're looking at me like, girl, you're insane. But like being like, we could grow, we could evolve, let's continue.

38:50And like pulling everyone along in my relationships. And I've had to be okay with prioritizing the experience of my soul over the comfort of relationships that aren't going to grow with me. And that doesn't feel good. Like that's a real, I remember having a real reckoning with myself of like, damn. And what's beautiful about that, what I'm so grateful for my relationship to my soul is like, it's always been like, it is what it is. Like, like I love my soul. Cause she's like, hey girl there's no other way and like I don't know what to tell you but like it's almost like she forces me to accept it fully rather than being like but wait but I can but what about if I do this or I don't grow so fast or I don't evolve or I don't change or I like what if I just help them to like whatever and actually you know what I'm hearing right now it's like girl you've done that unconsciously your whole life.

39:55So as soon as you were conscious of it, you knew you had to change. So just kidding. Did that a lot in my life. But now it's really like accepting like it's no, the priority for me is the path of my soul. And I hope that for my partner, I hope that for my friends, like, and that again, it sounds like I'm being like a cold hearted. Oh, I grow my friends. Don't like, no, bro. Like, I want that for everyone. I want the sovereignty of the experience of your soul and its path of love and devotion and evolution and purpose for every single person that I know. Like you don't need to like burn every bridge to be on your path.

40:31You can love people and accept them on your path too. So relationships change. You also have purpose that evolves. This is huge. Oh my gosh. This was a crazy thing that I realized too. I'm like, whoa, almost 30 is my purpose. Like, freaky, I found my purpose, dude, my whole life. I was like, God, I find my purpose. What's my purpose? What am I doing here? And I found almost 30 and I was like, great. Found my purpose and it is a part of my purpose. 100%. Oh my God, it is so much my purpose. And new purpose loading, new purpose coming online, new purpose being downloaded, new purpose is uploaded to the cloud, like all of the things happening with a new purpose.

41:15and your purpose will continue to evolve as you gain more information, as you transform, as you evolve, as you grow. And so really being like, okay, it is okay that like I had one purpose and that I'm going to change that purpose or that purpose won't be the same and not holding and attaching ourselves so deeply to what we think are one purposes. Cause that's not how purpose works. I've been talking about purpose for many years. You can search purpose almost 30, but that's not how purpose works. The transformation will, oh, so important. I want you to lean in. I want you to turn it up. I want you to stop what you're doing two feet on the ground.

41:59Clock in, okay?

42:04Transformation will always feel like loss before it feels like clarity. transformation will always feel like loss before it feels like clarity which is so weird to think about because you're like what what do you mean why can't I just like lily pad jump to the next thing I had a client you know who was wanting to have work with women that were longer containers, higher ticket, deeper. She wanted to work with women more deeply. And she was having this experience where there was clients that were not wanting to work with for a long time, really short containers, short sessions, not even people that go really deep.

42:51And these situation was a perfect example of like, it's going to feel like loss to leave those old clients behind. To say, no, I can't do that length of session for that amount. I'm sorry. Because I know what I want to do. I know where I'm going. And so that loss of those old clients feels like a loss before you're like, oh yeah, this is the right thing. This is what it is. This is okay. And so for many people that transform so much, I can always feel like a grief of like, oh my God, I've left this relationship. I've left this job. I've left this identity. I left this friend. I don't know where I'm going.

43:33It's hero's journey, baby. You're in the woods. You're in the wilderness. You don't know yet, but that will come before clarity. There are different souls on earth that have different rhythms to life. And you are one of those. You have your own unique rhythm. Our rhythms are different, Very similar, I'm sure, but we have different rhythms to life. Some souls are here to anchor stability. They're here to anchor stability on earth, which is essential. Can you imagine if everyone on earth was me? What? Combustion, crazy. Like if everyone on earth was us, it would be...

44:15I don't know, man. That would be like wild times. And so we need those souls that are stable, that are here for stability, that are here to hold it down. Some of us are here to open consciousness. Old souls like us tend to live spiral lives, revisiting themes at higher awareness. So what this means, living a spiral life, revisiting themes at higher awareness. God, I hate saying this. I'm pissed off about this. I just got angry. Cause I just got angry. Cause I just dropped into the realization of what I'm about to talk about. Okay. Dude, this is what I'm talking about. Healing never ends. Okay.

44:57So, you know, me years ago, I'm like, you know, Lindsay's like, I'm codependent. I'm like, loser freak. I'm really, I'm hyper independent. I'm like, cool. And then I go to therapy. I'm like, ah, I'm codependent. Fuck. Codependency is basically you prioritizing the comfort of you prioritizing what you perceive someone else to want or what someone else wants over you. So, you know, violating your boundaries, working late, you on social media all the time, trying to get people to like you or validate you, you, um, saying like, you don't want, you want to go to Thai food when you want to go to Chinese, but your partner wants to go to Thai.

45:38It's like literally 24-7 you prioritizing the comfort of someone else over you. Someone or something else over you and like not really having a sense of self. And so realized the codependency. And then, you know, I still today, I'm like, oh, okay. It's a different texture. I realized that being in a new relationship, I was like, damn, I'm with this man. And, you know, I'm like, is he okay? Is he mad at me? Like he's like literally drinking coffee, like thinking about the Roman Empire. and I'm like, is he mad at me? And we just revisit it differently and differently with more lightness and more awareness.

46:17So this is where you will be probably learning things many times and in many flavors and many things. I'm not saying you could fully, you won't fully clear things, but you will be revisiting themes at a higher sense of awareness. That's kind of part of the spiral nature of things. But the gift that you have is your depth. But the gift that you have is your depth, your intuition, your compassion, your creativity. You have a responsibility though, and this is your responsibility. This is my responsibility to be someone like this. The responsibility that you have is rest, okay? Is regulation.

47:01and allowing ease. Can I get an amen? Church, can I get an amen? Okay. Rest, regulation, allowing ease. Can I get an amen? Because that is what we're needing to learn oftentimes in this lifetime is rest, regulation, allowing ease. There also is the work of someone like myself and someone like you, if you resonate with feeling deeply and being someone like this, is the work is to be accepting of what is, to be loving of what is, to be okay with what is. You know, there's this like fine line, this razor thin line on the transformation path that we walk where it's like, it's true. Our souls came here to do big things.

47:47Our souls came here on mission. Our souls came here to grow and evolve. And you have to learn to be where you are. you have to learn to be where you are truly madly deeply if we can never be where we are then we never will be anywhere in the future in your highest vision your highest timeline any of that you know how in your 20s your body starts slowing down in ways you don't notice at first definitely started for me in like my late 20s maybe early 30s your joints feel a little stiffer skin less plump energy dips yeah okay that's when I started paying attention to collagen paleo valley's bone broth protein is made from 100 % grass fed grass finished beef bones slow simmered from small scale regenerative farms they do it right i am obsessed i'm like kind of holding myself back because i i am so obsessed for their bone broth protein i actually have it in my little cup over there i love the chocolate it is packed with collagen to support skin hair nails gut health and joints.

48:51Plus it's clean. It can be unflavored if you want the unflavored and gently processed with no chemicals at all or additives. I love adding it to coffee, to smoothies, or just hot water like I do with my chocolate. It tastes like a creamy chocolate or vanilla milkshake without the sugar. It's so good. It's basically all the benefits of slow simmered bone broth in 30 seconds, giving you 13 to 15 grams of protein per serving to help you stay fuller and support metabolism. You can head to paleovalley.com slash almost 30 or use the code 830 at checkout for 15 % off your first purchase. Again, my favorite is the chocolate bone broth protein.

49:34I will make sure to put this with hot water. Sometimes I'll add like a little dash of milk, even though you don't really need it. They have like a really clean coconut powder in there that gives it that creaminess, but it is so delicious. I'm telling everyone about it. Again, that's paleovalley.com slash almost 30. The code is A30, A30 at checkout for 15 % off your purchase. Lately, I've been craving more simplicity, not just in my life, but in my nutrition too. It's really easy to feel disconnected when your cabinet is full of random powders and supplements and you're constantly questioning the labels, but that's why I really love cachava.

50:13It helps me simplify and feel more nourished without overthinking it. It's an all-in-one plant-based nutrition shake made with really high quality ingredients. There's no fillers, no artificial flavors or sweeteners, and it actually tastes amazing. Just two scoops will give you 25 grams of protein, fiber, greens, adaptogens, and nutrients that support energy, digestion, strength, and focus. 25 grams of protein is no joke. So I usually blend mine with like a frozen banana and I'll add like a nut milk. I'll, you know, just add kind of my go-to favorite, like different fruits and stuff, but I can keep it simple and it still tastes amazing.

50:50Like the other day I mixed the mint chocolate flavor shake with a nut milk and ice and I just shook it up and it was chef's kiss. It's just rich. It tastes so good. It doesn't taste fake like other powders. They've done it right. So rewild your nutrition at cachava.com and use code ALMOST30. New customers get$20 off an order of two bags or more now through the 31st. That's cachava, K-A-C-H-A-V-A.com. The code is ALMOST30.

51:25I feel like for a long time, money felt way more stressful than it needed to be. I stress so hard about money, especially when it came to banking and all the random fees you don't even realize you're paying. I feel like one day I woke up, I was like, wait, how was I charged$40 like eight times? What is happening? That's why I've really been into Chime. It's a smarter, fee-free way to bank that actually feels like it's built for real life, not old school banks charging overdraft and monthly fees just for existing. With Chime, you get paid up to two days early with direct deposit and their MyPay feature lets you access up to$500 of your paycheck when you choose.

52:00That flexibility alone has helped me feel way more calm and in control around money. It's awesome. They also help you build credit history stress-free, and you can earn up to 3 % APY on savings, which is seven times higher than a traditional bank. Plus, they're rated five stars by USA Today for customer service. Real humans available 24-7. And their new Chime card is such a shift. 53:16So it's actually a huge part of your work to be where you are. One of my favorite practices is something that Rhonda Barnes wrote The Secret. However you say her last name, I mean, prolific. She's like the number one OG. Her and Oprah, what they do in the morning, Oprah puts her little feet on the floor and she goes, here, now. I think Eckhart Tolle taught her that, but here, now, here, now. So with each step, she's creating more presence and acceptance of the life she's in here now. Rhonda puts her feet on the ground and goes, thank you. Thank you. So simple, easy practice to get you into your body, into the moment, into the gratitude of the now.

54:03With each step, here, now, thank you. Here, now, thank you. Huge. This is why gratitude is so essential. This is not why. this is an aspect of why gratitude is so essential because gratitude honors and acknowledges the present moment. It honors and acknowledges what is, and it can really help bring people like us back to the present moment when we're like, I'm onto the next, I'm into the next transformation. I'm into the next phase. I'm into the next metamorphosis. I'm into the next aspect of who I am and this growth and this edge and whatever. And it's like, okay, yes. And have a moment for the current life you're in, for what you have now, for this growth, for this person that exists in this body today.

54:46Like girl, had to die a lot to be who I am today. And so the more gratitude we can cultivate and the way that I like to practice gratitude, two ways. The first is before bed every single night to get my mind space in a place of receptivity and love and just to get my vibration really nice before bed, I will run through 20 gratitudes from the day. And, you know, healthy food in my fridge, the energy I felt today, an amazing interview, my outfit feeling comfortable, all the women in my programs, all my clients, that one conversation, that's my, like, whatever the things are, like, and if you are having a hard time with this, that's your work.

55:29Sit longer and think about it. I'm comfortable to sit down in this chair. I smiled twice today. I had an amazing meal. I had food in my fridge. I had water. I had a shower. Like you can get really simple. So having gratitude helps you be present in the moment. It helps sort of balm this sort of anxiety and this sort of push that you have as a soul that's constantly growing and constantly evolving. And the second way that I like to practice gratitude is by prayer. Like, dear God, thank you so much for this moment, for this space, for these people, for all the souls I get to connect to, all the souls I get to serve, all the ways I get to serve my own soul in this process.

56:13Like, thank you, thank you, thank you. I pray before meals. I pray with friends. I pray by myself. And that moment can really crystallize who I am, where I am, what I'm doing. And that's really important. Again, if you're always onto the next, doing the next thing, evolving, changing, and growing, it can be really important to bring yourself into the here and now. So the practice of the steps is huge. Gratitude is huge. And the third thing that I really love to do is in the morning or in the evening, just once a day, I like to go through everything in my life and in my sight and accept it as it is.

56:50So an example of that would be to sit in this chair right here and I'm looking at my curtains that are wrinkled and I accept that as it is. I accept these green curtains in this room that are wrinkly. I accept this temperature. I accept my outfit. I accept my age. I accept who I am. I accept my voice. I accept how I feel. I accept this relationship that's feeling sticky. I accept this grief that I'm feeling. I accept this heartbreak. I accept this joy. I accept this excitement. I accept this anxiety, like going through and literally just clocking and accepting your life. Because the shadow side of being someone that's like you and like me is that you constantly are onto the next.

57:38And that's a good thing because you're here to do your thing as a soul. It's great. I want you to accept it. But I also want you to find practices where you're accepting yourself and your life as you are. Because I would be so sad if you were 73 and you're like, oh my God, my whole life I was wishing I was someone I'm not. My whole life I was chasing the higher self when I was her all along. My whole life I was wishing I was someone I wasn't. My whole life I was wishing I was somewhere I wasn't. My whole life I was wishing everything away and not being present to all the progress of who you are now.

58:14you in this moment are a future self version from the past your past had an idea of the future self and it's you so you accepting your whole life everything in it your relationships like is is essential and a last piece on that that I really want to land is something I really love about it is I accept the things that I don't want to accept. And this is where parts work. I've done so much parts work. So I kind of know what goes on. If I have resistance, it's okay to have resistance. There's sometimes where I'm like, I don't want to accept that. And I know I need to work on that. But as an example, there's a relationship in my life that feels a little crunchy.

58:58And I like just, I'm like, I accept that as it is. Like, it's okay to not feel like every connection I have is as strong as I want it every single time. And that means nothing about me. And that means nothing about them. And I am safe. I accept it. I actually really accept this. Like, that's okay. Like, it's okay. Completely okay. And when you can go through complete acceptance of everything in your life, not only do things often transform for the better and shift and grow. This is what I've talked about before. Carl Rogers, the father of therapy, as we know it today, talks about this paradox of transformation.

59:35Once you can accept things, that's when they change. Weird, but true. So accepting things as they are is a huge essential parts of this process. And the fourth thing that I want you guys to be mindful of, if you're resonating with this, is your nervous system. You know, like your nervous system. And I know it's talked about a lot, but like I've really had, and I'm doing a program on this now, but I've really had like a deeper understanding of the nervous system, even in my own life where I was like, whoa, I was dysregulated for a while because I was feeling out of my body. I was feeling anxious.

1:00:17I was feeling trauma come up and I wasn't ready to face it. And when we have our nervous system activated at all times, it can really create this sense of dysregulation that doesn't support our present or future self and doesn't help us get actual clarity to what the mission is at hand. So if you are someone that's called to more, you are an old soul, you are here to do a lot, alchemize energy, like shine light, teach, do your thing. You need to have your nervous system on board for that. And you need to have your nervous system as a part of that. Your nervous system will not let you go or expand as far as you potentially want to in your mind.

1:00:59If your nervous system is stuck in fear, trauma, fear of expression, of visibility, of being seen, old traumas coming up, you're not going to be able to be in the expanded purpose that you have, that you know you want, that you know is your soul. So your nervous system is an essential part of this process. Being in deep relationship with it to create safety within yourself in this now moment, to expand its ability, to expand its capacity, to just be in relationship to it so that you can expand your vessel, as they say in Kabbalah, to hold all of the blessings that are totally available for you.

1:01:36A lot of the work that I do with Fully Expressed, which is the immersions that I do for women to be in their fullest expression, their like highest self, their like most embodied authentic self in all areas of their life. We do a lot of nervous system work because, you know, this is a perfect example. Like you think about being on stage or you get in front of a room or you have to do a speech or you have to tell someone something hard. Your body is often what stops you. And so your nervous system needs to be on board with this next version, this next timeline, this next iteration, or it's going to be holding you back in creating discrepancy between the version you are today and the version that you're moving into.

1:02:16So it will prolong your transformation and make it way more painful. So nervous system work is essential. And for fully expressed, those immersions on my website, it's krista.com. Would love to have you. Perfect for someone like you, but the nervous system is going to be an essential part of your process. And I think the last thing is accepting yourself as you are and how different and unique you are and also not making you better than anyone else because of your soul and what your soul is and who you are and also not making yourself a constant self-improvement project. So we are not making ourselves better than other people.

1:02:58You know, we are not making ourselves more knowledgeable or more evolved. We're just different. And then we are not using this excuse of this constant transformation desire to constantly improve upon ourselves. We're finding times to rest. We're finding times for respite. We're finding times for integration. We're finding times to slow down. We're finding times to be spacious and peaceful and allowing ourselves, our nervous system and our body to catch up. a lot of times your next level version and this is coming through right now is not anywhere far from you it's literally next to you beside you in front of you but you're just moving too fast to embody it you know you are never slowing down to actually live in it and actually be in the energy of the future version because you're just running around avoiding you know hustling, overdrive, overproductive, all these things living in your mind all day.

1:04:00It's like your future self is literally right there if you just slow down to receive it. And you just literally become her, this like version of you that you've been dreaming of your whole life that's rested, that's productive, that's creative, that's expressed, that's seen, that's heard, all of these amazing things. Like it's actually on the other side of not doing so much and not forcing so much and just allowing and not fighting that transformation that you know you came here to do. So if you feel like you are an old soul and you feel like your soul is just really on mission to do these things and be this person, you're not crazy.

1:04:40You are also not alone. And you are really doing sacred, sacred work by evolving consciously. This is so sacred and special. And I'm right there with you in this process. I'm right there with you. And it's just magical. Like when you can really just be in awe of like, whoa, like this is my alien talking. I'm just like, whoa, humans, man, crazy. Like this is, this is all crazy. What we're doing here is so wild that we chose this and continue to choose it. Some souls travel light, some souls travel deep. and I know that's you, both souls are holy. Both souls are truly holy. So this is your permission slip.

1:05:24This is your permission slip. I'm your guide. I'm your friend in this. I'm along with you along the journey. If you're interested to doing deeper work with me, if that feels like a call to you, you know, from this, I usually work with women that are on the edge of breakthrough. That's my thing. Just transformation through breakthrough. You can go website for fully expressed, for seen and heard, for the true essence retreat, just the things that I'm doing this year. Um, I'm going to work on making metamorphosis happen again. So seen and heard is the mastermind for people that have personal brands that want to be fully embodied in their purpose through a personal brand.

1:05:55Fully expressed is for people that want to be in that authentic expression of who they are. It's an immersion, um, in person for two days. And then the true essence retreat is a deeply soulful healing retreat in Italy. So I have those all for you and one-on-one work. I don't have space for right now, but you can apply for that if you would like. So I love you so much. I appreciate you. Thank you for being on the journey of almost 30 in this path.
