Key claims
Cookie/fat beliefs are learned programming; beliefs and emotional avoidance around food matter more than calories. Social media “eyes” can create psychic imprinting; she recommends spiritual protection practices (e.g., an avatar, “golden egg” protection, cleansing, staying in the heart). Purpose is tied to knowing yourself and alchemizing your life experiences into service, regardless of corporate vs entrepreneurship. God-aligned dating provides shared values, prayer, and a purpose beyond pleasure. Sister/female friendship wounds create fear of being seen and safe around other women; radical accountability includes admitting you may have bullied too. Cheating is framed as tied to insecurity, lack of purpose/kingship, dopamine-seeking, and increased availability via apps.
Notable examples
Her mother said she always saw food as a “threat.” She cites authors Janine Roth (Women, Food and God). She mentions celebrities Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera as examples of intense attention. She describes archetype embodiment cues (queen posture; lover sensuality). She gives personal bullying anecdotes (TP’d house, online mockery).

1:14Hello and welcome to Almost 30 Podcast. I'm really excited that you're here. My name is Christ Williams. And if you're new to Almost 30, you don't need to be almost 30 to listen. It was just the name that my best friend Lindsay and I chose for the podcast that we started around 10 years ago. Almost 30 has been an OG podcast in the space, as they say. We talk about spirituality, personal growth, self-development, wellness, kind of a little mixed bag of things. And what I really love to do is the solo episodes. So on the solo episodes, you get this kind of like personal touch, this personal conversation with me and you, or with Lindsay and y 'all.
1:53And on the solo episodes, we like to deep dive into topics like timelines, relationships, dating, spirituality, body image. I really like to just go into what I'm interested in, what I see my clients are struggling with, what I've really been working on myself. And I like to bring as much as I can, a grounded approach and a supportive approach to helping you live and be better. So today's episode, I'm going to do a Q &A, which I'm really excited about. And I mean that genuinely, I feel like creators are always excited about something, in my truth. I'm not lying to you. I'm excited about this because I just wanted to go with questions off the rip.
2:32I didn't want to practice. I didn't want to, you know, prepare. I just wanted to truly answer the questions as if you were my friend in front of me asking me about said topic. So this is really just going to be us conversing, us in conversation. If you were my friend and we were having dinner and you were asking me about these certain topics, I got these questions from my Instagram at itskrista. So it's I-T-S-K-R-I-S-T-A. And they're related to dating, relationships, health, wellness, psychic protection, visibility online. I kind of just perused really fast, but they're pretty juicy, good ones.
3:08And it'll be really, really fun today. So let's go into my questions for this Q &A for us two to hang out together, have a, you know, laugh, have a giggle, kind of expand our minds on some topics that a lot of us in the community are exploring or thinking about. So the first question that I wanted to dig into is around body image, how to not fear food and automatically think that a cookie will make you fat. So for many of us, we have been taught and trained in our life that we are enemies or we are threatened by food, that food is the enemy, that a cookie is the enemy, that a cookie is in the way of us loving our bodies, in the way of us having a beautiful life, in the way of us being sexy and confident in all of these things.
3:48So we've demonized food. For me in my life, this has been kind of the pattern in the process. I'll never forget one day at dinner, I was having a conversation with my mom and like many of us existential deep baddies, I was trying to pull some depths out of my mom. And I was like, mom, how did you see food in life? How do you relate to food? And she's like, well, I've always seen food as a threat. And I'm like, dude, that is it. That is the perfect word for how so many women see food. We see food as a threat. And in my metamorphosis program, which is my body transformation program, I was talking to the girls.
4:28And one day we were having this conversation about like, if you just put on a table, a bag of sugar, a bag of butter, some eggs, flour, it would just be like no drama for your mama. You'd be like, okay, what is that? But all of a sudden you turn that bad boy into a cookie and everyone is freaking out. If you were at a party and there's a cake on the table, there's a cookies on the table, especially around a lot of women, there's a lot of conversation and energy about it. Oh, I shouldn't have that cookie. I should have that cookie. Oh, I already ate dinner. Oh, oh, I've been watching my sugar. Oh, if I can't have one, I'm not going to have any, or I'm just going to have a little bite.
5:11Oh, I'm being so bad. Like we literally say we are being bad when we're eating food. We define ourselves as bad or good when we're eating food. And so I've seen this so often where we just put so much energy around food. And this is why Metamorphosis, the program is all about body transformation through body acceptance and body love. It's an emotional approach to food and body rather than just going like mind. Because this is the thing, with the mind, I can look at that plate of cookies and be like, cookies, fine for me and balance. Cookies, not ideal food, but okay if I have one every once in a while.
5:49Okay if I've had, you know, if I've ate really well today and it's a treat. But for so many people, food is an emotional experience. Food is family, food is connection, food is hope, food is joy, food is love, food is numbing, food is coping, food is avoiding. Food is so many things. So for us to just kind of look at food and be like, yeah, that's just calories in calories out. That's just a cookie. It's like, no, people really struggle with addiction to food and they're not addicted to the actual food. In some ways they are because our food system is so corrupt, but they're really addicted to the relief it provides them.
6:22So what would I say to someone who automatically thinks that eating a cookie is going to make them fat? I would say that your beliefs create your reality. And that if you have the belief that a cookie will make you fat, your beliefs and the energy behind that is already programming the experience that you're going to have in life, because there's a lot of really thin people that can eat whatever they want. And a lot of it is because they have the belief that they can eat whatever they want to be healthy. So your beliefs are going to create the reality that a cookie is going to make you fat. And also you're putting this cookie on a pretty big pedestal.
6:58You're giving this cookie a lot of power. So the more power we can take away from food, the better. How do we take the power away from food? We take the power away from food by feeling our feelings, being present to what we're going through, what's going on in our body, what's going on in our heart, what's going on in our mind, what's going on in our soul, and tending to ourselves. For so many of us, we use food as a way to avoid feeling or to cope or to like soothe. And if we're doing that to ourselves regularly, we don't need food to do that. So I would say your, you know, thoughts create your reality.
7:31So whatever thought you have around foods, creating your reality, I would say take food off the pedestal. And I would also say that, you know, to support yourself in a better body image, reading from authors like Janine Roth, Women, Food and God is essential reading to your life. and the most important thing is finding a bigger connection to something greater than you outside of you know food or this human experience so that for me is god but that can help you remove this obsession with the flesh or your body or like everything that we're just sort of like focusing our energy on can sort of be shifted to something greater and something bigger and better so i feel you girl i mean i can can very much relate to that so the second question your relationship to social media and psychic protection.
8:19So all my girlies that are in the know, whether you're in my community or someone I coach, I talk about psychic protection as it relates to social media. So this is going to be woo woo and out there for most people. So if it's not for you, might not be for you. But I believe that the experience you have online opens you up to psychic energy and eyes, you know, in Kabbalah, you'd call it evil eye, and the perception and perceiving of people. And I believe that all energy, energy is neither created nor destroyed. So that energy of bad intention of jealousy of envy of something can be felt and absorbed and impacting of you.
8:58I believe that oftentimes, you know, if we think about celebrities, like the celebrities that I grew up with, like Britney Spears and Christiana Galera, and all these, you know, huge people, I think there's a lot of really dark things going on. But I also think it's really hard to handle the weight of so much eyes, energy, and attention, and a lot of people that are putting a lot on you. So thinking about a really big celebrity online, there's a lot of people that are perceiving them, watching their content, making meaning out of it, interpreting it, thinking about them, going to bed thinking about them.
9:29There's like psychic imprinting that social media does on you. You've had this experience where you're in bed or you're sleeping or you're just hanging out and you're thinking about what this creator was doing. You're thinking about what this creator said. I've actually had that recently where there's someone online, I was actually thinking about them in my Pilates class. I don't know them. I don't know their life. And I was like thinking about them. So it imprints on our minds, it imprints on our brains. So I think for someone, and this is what I teach, if I work with people, if they want to get big, and they want to increase their visibility, they have to be mindful about protecting themselves psychically, and protecting themselves in the realm of social media or in the realm of, you know, the consciousness of social media.
10:10Again, you could think this is insane, but I know that there is a manifestation of energy that happens in the collective and the collective mind that can impact you, especially if you're someone that's sensitive, especially if you're someone that's psychic. This is the thing. A lot of you are very psychic and in tune and in touch. And so if you are in tune and in touch, you are going to feel the eyes and the energy and the intention of people, you know, coming at you or coming for you. When people are canceled or attacked online, it doesn't just impact them, you know, financially, it's psychological, it's energetic, it's, you know, attacks that they can feel mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
10:47And so when we are putting ourselves out there online, there's a few things that I like to do with protection, psychic protection. And this is, you know, this is going to seem insane. So I'm just putting it out there, but it's what I do. And it's what I practice. So one of the first things that I really say to do is to create an avatar of yourself that can live and exist in the realms. And that could be a space and place where people's perception, ideas, judgments, jealousy of you can go. So instead of actually reaching and hitting you, I'm laughing because there's such a depth and a richness to my spiritual practice that I don't share that I'm laughing that I'm sharing this right now.
11:25So because, you know, I don't want the jealousy, envy, hate, you know, judgment that people have of me, I'm going to allow them to put that on my avatar that I've placed in the realms. So it looks like me, it acts like me, it talks like me, but it's not the actual energetics of me. So you could create an avatar that exists in the realm, like the, you know, psycho spiritual realm that people can interact with instead of actually interacting with your essence and the truth of you. What you can also do is, you know, provide and place protection around your social media. You could place your social media in a, you know, golden egg, a golden mesh egg, allowing, you know, loving and kind eyes to get in, not allowing negative, you know, evil eye to get in, and allowing just your creativity to sort of seep out.
12:12You could also ask your angels and guides to cleanse and clear your space, your social media space, asking them to place protection in your social media space, closing all portals of negativity to your social media, closing any portals that have ill intention, that have ill will, that are not supportive of your path and of your purpose and of your mission. And I think the greatest, the biggest thing is that if you are creating from a place of love and from a place of truth and from your heart, it is, there's no greater protection than being in your heart. Let me just say that. There is no greater protection than being in your heart.
12:46You actually need no protection when you're in your heart. So staying from that true, authentic, creative, loving space is also going to really, really protect you. So I definitely think if you are someone that is looking to expand your visibility, your reach, your brand, and your voice, thinking about your psychic protection is essential. At Fully Expressed in June in Chicago, we'll be talking about this a little bit and kind of some deeper practices. And the Fully Expressed immersion is for people that want to increase their visibility and step into their fullest expression, whether that's making money online or just in their life.
13:21So that's in Chicago. You can go to my website. It's Krista.com for that. So we'll be doing more of that. Okay. So I had the third question, purpose. Everyone is leaving corporate, et cetera, but what if you're choosing it. I just like, let me just give a snap and a prop for my sister. Okay. Even though I left corporate, I was in corporate for six to eight years. I don't know about time. Um, and it definitely wasn't for me. I rep corporate. I'm so grateful for it. It made me an amazing business woman. It an amazing, made me an amazing communicator. It made me super savvy. It made me understand so much of the world that you miss out on.
14:03If you do not go into corporate, What a effing gift it was for me to go into corporate. It allows me to understand business structures, you know, the way things work in the business corporate world, the way finance works, the ways that structures work, hierarchies work. I basically felt like I got like a business, like an MBA when I worked in consulting through my business career. So I highly rep and appreciate corporate. And I also think for anyone that is a creator or wants to put themselves out there or find their purpose outside of corporate, it's such a beautiful space to give you the foundation and give you the support to do that.
14:39So don't knock on what's paying your bills, what's helping you live, what's giving you money to feed the kids and, you know, live your life. I think when we kind of poo-poo it, it can make things really challenging. So I do think that a lot of people are leaving the corporate world right now. I think that's happening because of AI is getting rid of people's jobs is sort of, you know, cutting everyone out of positions and roles and all of that, which is not really giving people a lot of the chance. But I do think you can find your purpose and have your purpose in the corporate world. Purpose isn't defined by structure.
15:11Purpose isn't defined by like human language necessarily. I love to look at purpose in the sense of Dharma, where you kind of look at what your soul essence brings onto earth, what you've been through uniquely in this lifetime, and then how can you alchemize that for service to the collective? So what your essence was coming into earth, what you've been through in this lifetime, and then how you can alchemize that to serve the world. So as an example, for me, you know, my essence came in as someone that's nurturing and kind and curious and open, among other things. But I went through a set of experiences related to my body, struggling with my body, dieting, trying everything, you know, etc.
15:51And then eventually was able to heal my relationship to my body. And now I teach other women to heal their relationships to their body and find peace. So what was really challenging for me, what was so hard for me, what I thought I would die with was this hate and disdain of my body. I've now healed and alchemized and serve others. And so it's definitely an aspect of my purpose. So I think whether it's corporate or entrepreneurship, I don't necessarily think that matters for purpose. I think the greatest step that you can take to living in your purpose, to fulfilling your purpose, is figuring out who you are.
16:26You cannot fulfill your purpose or be on purpose if you do not know who you are. Why is that? Because your purpose is your unique gift to the world. So if I don't know who I am, I don't know what I'm good at. I don't know what my skills are. I don't know what I like. I don't know what I don't like. I'm not going to be able to live in my purpose because purpose has to be something you're good at and you like because you won't have the energy otherwise. Purpose isn't just about money or isn't just about status. It's about like something deeper within you, like a greater reason for being here than just like getting a house and a dog.
17:06So you understanding who you are, how you're uniquely serving this world can be done inside of corporate or not. So you truly going to the depths of who you are, your story, like every nook and cranny of your childhood, your life, noticing what you were good at, noticing what you weren't, noticing what you learned, noticing what you alchemized to help other people is really the beginning and the most important part of the purpose conversation. And I think we get kind of lost when we make purpose to be something that has to make us money, that has to be defined in a word, that has to be defined in an Instagram bio.
17:42Your purpose is something that changes throughout your lifetime. It's not defined by one thing. You know, someone could say, my purpose is to help people. It's like, yeah, totally. That's at the basic level it is. And there's a lot of nuance to that too. And what I've also found that the people that have the biggest purpose and mission here on earth usually have their purpose involving them and supporting them in almost an equal capacity to serving others. So the greatest purpose that I've done in life has been the things that I deeply enjoy. Almost 38 was like the first thing that I did that I deeply enjoyed.
18:16I felt motivated and inspired by it used my, it used my unique gifts of curiosity, question asking, et cetera. And so that desire and love of the game, my unique skills and abilities became something that serves others, but also deeply serves me. Same with coaching. It's such a deeply, oh my gosh, I just, I love it so much. And it really, really helps people. So how can you understand who you are and how you uniquely serve in this world in order to fulfill your purpose? This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it's a reminder that whatever you're going through, you don't have to go through it alone.
18:59Life has seasons. We know this. Some feel really grounded and others can feel overwhelming, especially when you're carrying things quietly in your own head. I think there are always things that keep us up at night. You know, I've got a few of those right now, big decisions, transitions, relationships, work, and it's easy to feel like we're supposed to figure it all out ourselves, but no one has all the answers. That's the truth. Having someone to talk to who's there to listen and support can make a huge difference. And therapy can be a space to sort through what's coming up. BetterHelp connects you with licensed therapists and does the matching for you.
19:40So easy with a short questionnaire that takes two seconds. It's really not long. And if the fit isn't right, you can switch any time. Find support and have someone with you in therapy. Sign up and get 10 % off at betterhelp.com slash almost 30. That's betterhelp.com slash almost 30. One thing I really try to stay consistent with is my morning routine. Even when my schedule gets really busy or I'm traveling, which I'm doing next week, I really like to have something to help me start my day feeling really good, really healthy.
20:24And for me, the challenge is doing that even when I'm on the go. But I have been loving, and saying this from the rooftops, cachava. Their new travel packs make it so easy to throw a pack into my bag and still have my favorite all-in-one nutrition shake wherever I am, whether I'm heading to the studio or traveling to LA like I am next week or just running between things. It really helps me keep that ritual of nourishing myself without overthinking it. Each packet has plant-based protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, greens, probiotics, omegas, and electrolytes, all in one simple shake, and it's delicious.
20:59I also love that it supports things like energy, digestion, and overall wellness, and it actually tastes really good. So the travel packs come in flavors like chocolate, vanilla, matcha, chai, coconut, acai, and strawberry. So it's really easy to switch it up. I love the chocolate. I love the strawberry. It just makes staying consistent feel very effortless for me, which I need in this season of my life, even when my routine changes or it's all over the place. So take your daily ritual with you. Go to cachava.com and use code almost 30 for 15 % off your first order. That's cachava, K-A-C-H-A-V-A.com.
21:37Code is almost 30. I love finding simple swaps that make everyday meals feel a little more supportive of my goals, especially when I don't want to give up the foods I actually enjoy. That's why I have been loving, obsessed with Hero Bread. It lets me keep things like sandwiches, wraps, even pasta nights without feeling like I'm sacrificing anything. And I'm at a point right now in pregnancy where I'm not restricting, but I also don't want to be overdoing it on like the gluten and the pastas and all the things. Hero Bread makes it easy and I feel amazing after eating their products. The taste and texture are what surprised me most, honestly.
22:19Their products are soft, fluffy, honestly feels like traditional bread. I love the tortillas for easy lunch wraps and their sliced bread for quick breakfast sandwiches. I also love their bagels. Every single morning, my son asks for the bagel. He loves them. And then I've been making him the noodles as well. So it really covers all those comfort food staples. I'm excited for you to try. Nutritionally, it fits really seamlessly into my family's routine. Depending on the product, it has zero to five net carbs, zero grams of sugar, and 11 to 32 grams of fiber. It also has protein too. I'm a girlie that's been trying to get my protein and my fiber at the same time.
22:57So I am killing it with Hero Bread. And you really wouldn't know that it is this healthy based on the texture and the taste. So Hero Bread is offering 10 % off your order. Go to hero.co and use the code A30POD at checkout. That's A30POD at H-E-R-O.co. So okay, so one of my clients put in this Q &A box, queen energy, which I love the question on queen energy because we were talking about this in our session yesterday, and I'm not giving anything away, but we were talking about the experience of embodying the queen. And what I love so much about working with women to embody queen energy is that there's an archetype of the queen that we all sort of understand.
23:41When we think about archetype work, it can be so supportive of us stepping into the most powerful version of ourselves, the most magnetic version of ourselves. Because instead of pulling on a future version of ourselves or like a different aspect of ourselves, which can sometimes feel inauthentic, by using archetypes, you can use the energetic and the feeling of that archetype to embody a more powerful version of you. So for a lot of people, if you were to say, okay, step into the highest self version of you, step into the powerful version of you. A lot of people don't have the sensory feeling or the understanding of what that is.
24:20Like, even for me, I'm like, okay, if I think about my highest self, I'm like, I have a deep relationship with my soul. But sometimes when I think about a highest self, it gets a little blurry because what does that sort of mean? Like it can sometimes be a little nebulous. And the mind can really get involved. Because if we think about the highest level version of ourselves, a lot of people are like, I'm, I look fly as shit. I have swaggy style, I'm dating the hottest man. It's like, yes, 100%. And it's also more than that. So when we can use the energetics of archetypes, it can give our brains, the imagery and the cellular understanding of the collective conscious memory of what a queen is.
25:06So as an example, if for a lot of my women, before they're presenting, before they're having a conversation with their man, before they're, you know, having a negotiation conversation, I will have them channel the energy of the queen. And when we channel the energy of the queen, we sit up straight, you know, we kind of tilt our chin down and we just feel this sense of power and grace and, you know, confidence and clarity and precision and like badassery that we can work and move from, which is such an incredible way to support yourself in moving through life in a way where you're more confident, you're more powerful.

25:48Now, the queen isn't the only archetype that I love to use. There's a lot of different, you know, the maiden, the mother, the crone, the warrior, the lover, the lover is my absolute favorite, and the mystic. I think that I said that, the mystic. So those would be some that I would use. And those can be used intermixed. I think for the lover archetype, I really love for women to use this archetype, the lover, who's very sensual, pleasure-driven, you know, in her body, in her confidence, you know, led by her senses, like just really gooey, juicy, tender. And I love for them to tune into the lover archetype when they're in intimate moments or when they're with a partner.
26:41Because oftentimes women have a hard time transitioning from their day job or from being a mom or, you know, all the roles and responsibilities and obligations that they have into being sexy and playful and soft. And sometimes archetype work can really support them in doing that. So I love to think about archetypes and the archetype of the queen and the lover as an example, to be in this embodiment that you're looking for in life. Because sometimes it can be hard to think about ourselves. Like after I've had a long day as a mom, my kids have been pulling on me to be like, I'm the sexiest vixen ever.
27:18But if you take a second and you sort of soften your body and breathe into the experience of being the lover and what a lover archetype is, it can be so juicy and delicious. And the last thing I'll say about the queen energy is we were talking about the difference of being in queen versus maiden energy. So a lot of women right now are actually in maiden energy. They're perceiving that they're in masculine energy, but they're actually in maiden energy. Maiden energy is the initiation phase before the mother or the queen. And the maiden energy is the younger version. She's very naive. She's a people pleaser.
27:58She's over-functioning. She's overburdening. She doesn't have clear boundaries. She's also very playful and fun and open. So there's a very beautiful part of the maiden. I love maiden energy at times, but when we're in the maiden energy, we are taking on too much. We're bearing the emotional responsibility for everyone. We are taking on the role of, you know, psychically attuning to everyone in the room and making sure everyone's okay. But the queen energy is completely clear on who she is and how she serves and what she requires and what she requests, especially from the king. And so when we can actually step into queen energy, we're no longer in, you know, unexalted masculine slash maiden.
28:46So the queen energy can be a really beautiful archetype for y 'all y 'all to play with, which is so beautiful. Okay, this is an interesting random question. And I really don't know where my answer is going to go with this. But you know, that's that's what we're here for. So someone said cheating. I'm finding out that so many of the men I know are cheating. What's with it? Huh. So interesting. What I think is interesting about this is that I was talking to a friend the other day who's a therapist, and she was actually saying she was so surprised to hear and to know that she has found that just as many of the women were cheating as the men in relationships.
29:29And she's like, you know what? I never thought that would be true, but it seemed to be true. So it's interesting because I'm kind of seeing both sides and I, you know, have seen both men in my life cheat and I've seen both women in my life cheat. What I would imagine that is causing so many more men to cheat is that men don't really understand their value in our current culture and society. They don't really have a clear path, a clear purpose. They don't have a clear sense of self. Many men are not men, but boys, many men have not initiated themselves or been initiated into actual kingship or adulthood.
30:04And they're really just kind of living in this place and space where they're addicted to the dopamine, you know, mainlining of porn, gambling, and their phones. And so it would make a lot of sense to me that they would be using dating sites, websites, OnlyFans, all of these things to continue to do things like cheating and to continue to find greater hits of dopamine, greater hits of excitement, greater hits of validation, because they're really lacking a lot of validation in the world. And again, I didn't know this was going to get philosophical, but I really see it as the fact that they do not feel like they have a place right now.
30:41They are seeing women completely eclipsing them monetarily, mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually. I wouldn't say physically, I guess. I don't know if physically, no, probably not. But and it's really hard. And I'm not saying that like, I like it. I don't want that to be true, but it really is something that's happening. And I think it would cause a person that would have a low sense of self-esteem or low sense of self-worth to seek it outside and to find it from a woman outside of the relationship, outside of the container, outside of the family. I know when I've been cheated on in the past, it's been in situations where the person I was with didn't feel like they were worthy of or up to par or were in a place where they had confidence in who they were, confidence in, you know, what they were bringing to the table.
31:32And they were looking for a different type of woman to validate themselves because they were so deeply insecure. So I think that would make complete sense that there would be an increase in cheating. There's also an increase in availability of cheating. Looking at our phones, you can go shopping for like a woman, you can go shopping for a relationship the same way you can buy Amazon, you can buy a person. So and I mean that from a dating perspective, you know, there's probably other ways, but like from a dating perspective, you could literally be like, Hey, come over. So that greater availability of that is probably also increasing the amount of relationships.
32:04I also think people are really losing faith in marriage as an institution. I think people are losing faith in the, um, belief that marriage is the end all be all that it is the reason. I think a lot of men don't have faith. They don't have a foundation in anything other than sports and, you know, social media, and money. And when you don't have a foundation, and you don't have like an anchorship within God, or a faith or universe creator, whatever, you will be available for intrusion, you will be available to be siphoned to have your life force taken from you to have your life taken from you because you don't really stand for anything.
32:47said with my lip curled in frustration and anger. My B, my B boys, I had to, I had to rip it to you. I had to give it to you because that stuff I can't with that, you know, like, I just can't with that. Okay. New timelines and identities and dealing with new negative external feedback while staying empowered. New negative external feedback while staying empowered. gosh, you guys, can I say something? I'm going to say this in my honest truth.
33:22I really don't receive any negative feedback because I really don't let anything sort of enter my sphere, if that makes sense. Like anything that I feel like is going to impact me or influence me in a negative way just kind of hits my windshield and I just kind of keep cruising. in. Like I had a conversation with a friend the other day and she's like, you need a rebrand. And she was like going on about all these ideas. She had all the things I should be doing. She's like, you're so deep. You're so discerning. You're so all these things, but people would never know it online. It kind of goes on.
33:56And I'm like, cool. That's a great idea. Like, you know, every single person on earth is entitled to their own experience and perspective and they can be entitled to their own experience of me, but it doesn't mean I'm going to take it on. Like essentially if I was insecure, I'd be like, damn, she thinks I need a rebrand. I'm a loser. She thinks everyone thinks I'm dumb online. And I think I'm obsessed with my looks and I need everyone to know that I'm deep because I'm so deep. It's like, no, it's like, okay, that's an interesting perspective. Like I respect you. Great. Everyone literally great.
34:27This is what I see. I'm like, okay, like that sounds great for me because I literally am so driven and moved by my internal compass, by what I came here to do, by my conviction, by my faith, by my mission, by my purpose, it is me and me and me and God just cruising on this journey. So the more you can detach from needing external validation, from needing other people to validate every single thing that you do, to tell you you're good at something, to tell you you should do something, to tell you like you should be doing this and you should be doing that, the better. I literally cannot hear too much feedback because it completely throws me off my path.
35:04It confuses me. It takes a lot of mental energy from me. It doesn't support me where I'm trying to go. And that doesn't mean I don't get help from coaches, therapists, you know, groups of women when I need them. But like, I'm very, very particular about feedback that I ask for. One of my clients yesterday was talking about the situation where her family member was giving her feedback on a decision she was making. She was kind of talking about it. And, you know, I asked her, did you ask them for feedback on that? She's like, well, yeah, you know, I was telling them about this thing. And I'm like, well, why'd you ask him for feedback if you knew what they were going to say?
35:44She's like, oh, you know, I didn't think about that. I'm like, yeah, you're addicted to someone giving you feedback and affirming what you already know about them and about you. And so tell people that you're also unavailable for feedback. I do this all the time. Like I'll like talk to my friends and I'll be like, hey, will you look at this? I'm only available for positive feedback right now. I do that for negative feedback too. but I make sure that I'm resourced and I'm confident and I'm available for it. So ask for positive feedback from people that you love when you need it, when you need a little judge, you need a little guidance and then ask for, you know, clear feedback from people that you love and trust.
36:21But when you step into a new identity and a new timeline, for the most part, there will be different players, there'll be different people, there'll be different set, different setting, different location. And that will come with a different set of learning, a different set of lessons and a different set of opportunities for you to continue to sculpt and prove who you are. When you get to higher levels and different identities and vibrations, it doesn't always mean that you are without feedback, criticism, you know, people saying things. Usually, and this is very important, if you've shifted identity and timeline, when you first sort of move into that, you will have the most amount of pushback and feedback because you have the energetics of the previous version of you.
37:09And you might have like, you know, self-sabotaging parts or energies and entities outside of you trying to pull you back to your timeline. There's the biggest test when you move or jump timelines. So you get tested the most when you transition to the new timeline. So do not break. Do not break. You will be tested the most when you move to that new timeline. Do not break. And it will get easier and easier as you go. I found it to be easier and easier and the more flowing and beautiful than ever. And it's weird because it's not without problem, issue, or stress. It's just you feel so much better and more clear when you're in it and you understand the purpose of it.
37:49Okay. One thing that's really shifted for me during pregnancies, how intentional I've become about what I'm putting in my body. I've always been like that, but I don't know, it just like gets a little bit more serious every time. I'm paying more attention to ingredients, sourcing, and choosing products that align with the standards I am holding right now. That's why I've been using Rituals Essential Prenatal. It helps me feel supported without overthinking. And I love that it's vegan, non-GMO gluten, and major allergen-free, and made without synthetic colorants. It also includes key nutrients like choline, folate, and omega-3.
38:26We know this is very important in pregnancy with traceable ingredients, which I really, really appreciate. The experience has also been different from other prenatals I've tried. The capsule is designed to dissolve later, which I've noticed. Like, I personally found it's really gentle on my stomach, and it's easy to take consistently. I also like that Ritual uses bioavailable nutrients designed for absorption and that their essential prenatal is backed by a human clinical study. It just gives you more confidence in what I'm taking during the season. There's a lot of prenatals out there, so I highly recommend Ritual.

40:47Oh my God. You guys know, I love this question. You know, guys know, and you guys are gonna be like, Oh, she's gonna fricking talk about God. Guys, I'm talking about God in a non-religious way. So if you want to replace it with source creator, whatever, but I just say big, big G-O-D. Okay, so this question is God aligned dating after being in non God aligned relationships. Oh, honey, let me just, let me just put it on my phone. Because I am, I was in the relationships that I was in, including my marriage, were all non God relationships. and that was because earlier in my life and even in a lot of my marriage I wasn't necessarily aligned to God or had like a clear firm foundation and a faith that felt true and unique to me.
41:36I was more so in the new age manifestation or law of attraction stuff or just kind of like you know exploring different things and there's nothing bad with that. I love all of that work so much of it I still teach and work with but I didn't have God at the center and I really didn't have like a, just a clarity of where I'm going and who I'm working with. And so none of my relationships really reflected that. And I could tell in the fact that we didn't have a greater purpose outside of us than just making each other feel good. And when you have a relationship that is centered in a faith of being in service to God or service to something bigger, you have a purpose in the relationship that's greater than just making each other feel good all the time.
42:22And I think a lot of those relationships were just like, oh, like, how much do we like each other today? Like, how good can we make each other feel? How little are we fighting? Like, all that kind of stuff. And it's like, when you have at your foundation, like we are here to create family, create life to make the world a better place to serve our mission here, our purpose here to make ourselves the best versions of ourselves to make the world a better place that you kind of move different in relationships. You understand that fights happen, that they're okay, that it's part of the process, and that it's going to hopefully bring you closer.
42:55And the greatest thing that I've known in dating men that have God in their life is that their work, I just like, I just, I just need you to pull over if you're going to, because this is just so freaking important, is that they are aligned to something that is greater than just their pleasure, their self-interest, and just pleasing you. So often men will get into relationship and they're like, what can I do to please you? Who can I be to please you? How can I make you happy? Happy wife, happy life. I'm like, no, I need you to be convicted and aligned to something that is like greater than me. Like I need your values and what you are centering your life around to be based on something other than me.
43:40So a man, when I've dated men that have been God focused, and that has been a huge part of our relationship, I knew what their values were. I knew what their character was, because they were living in agreement to the faith being at the center and being in the image of God. And that is good, kind, loving, compassionate and integrity, having value and valor, as an example, beauty, you know, beauty, freedom, truth. So I've found that the relationships like that just serve such a greater purpose. We would pray together. We would pray in morning at night when we had hard times in our relationships, we would pray over each other.
44:20After a fight, we would pray together to reset the energy and the intention of their relationship. We would know how to raise our kids in the same way. Like it was a completely different ball game. And I will never be in a relationship that doesn't have God at the center because, and this is controversial and I think it might piss people off, but I just, this is how I feel. I think there's an immaturity to not having God in your life or creator or source or having some sort of organizing principle of how you move and use your energy. And again, whether that's God or whatever you call it, if you are just kind of floating around, you are serving some sort of God, but you just don't know it.
44:54Whether it's your boss, work, money, sex, social media, validation, likes, humans organize around something. There is like idol tree for a reason. So I just believe that you have to have some sort of firm foundation for me in the future. And I think when you look for that in your relationship, there's so much spaciousness, clarity, love, respect, it can be so much better. And so it is absolutely essential for me. It is like non-negotiable because we don't move the same way anymore. I don't communicate the same way as someone that doesn't move that way. I don't, I live my life completely differently than I used to.
45:30And I can accept and love people that don't have God in their life. Some of my closest friends don't have God in their life at all. But the person that is intimate with me, that is building a life with me, that is essential, honey. That is essential. Okay, there was two questions on here that were related to female friendships and friendships. One of them was on healing the female friendship wound, and the other was friendship breakups and ending so I can kind of like put these together for my last little question. So I've done a few episodes in the past about friendship breakups, about friendship.
46:04Lindsay and I've done quite a few episodes just being business partners and best friends for 10 plus years and being two people that came together in this lifetime to do a lot of healing, to do a lot of growth, to be an example for female friendship at times with people. And I think the post around the sister wound and healing the sister wound was related to a reel that I did where I was talking about people that want to be more visible or women that want to be more visible, that want to get paid to speak, to use their voice, to be seen on stage, to be seen in the boardroom, to move up the corporate ladder, to make money online, to make a YouTube, a podcast, whatever.
46:39If you want to be seen and visible in the world, if you want to make impact, if you have a female friendship wound, if you have a sister wound, you are going to have a really hard time. So the sister wound is the wound that is related to the feminine where you've been hurt or harmed by other women, AKA every single one of us has had that happen to us. I've been bullied in my life, baby. I've been bullied. I've had dip spit poured on me. I've been yelled at in the hallway. I've had people, you know, TP my house. I've had, you know, people create Facebook albums making fun of me. I've had, you know, people show up at my boyfriend's bar dressed like I've had people crazy stuff.
47:17And also there was times when I was younger where I was probably the bully too. So I'm going to keep it one freaking hundred. I hate when people are like, I've been bullied before. It's like, why has everyone been bullied, but no one's the bully? Like, is there one mega bully that's just bullying every single woman? Like you need to keep it one freaking hundred that you have probably been the bully at times too. This is my whole thing about my whole thing is taking radical accountability that I've probably been that bully. I've been bullied and I've probably been that bully. And you probably been a bully at times too, even if it was just gossiping, even if it was just, you know, saying something behind someone's back or making fun of someone or just having a laugh at someone else's expense, you bend the bully.
47:54Okay. The sister wound is similar to the female friendship wound, where it really is, again, that wound by a friend or a sister and that person that's very close to you. That's not the mother. It is when you are afraid to be seen and heard by other women, you're afraid to put yourself out there. You're afraid of jealousy, of envy. You're afraid of women making fun of you. You're afraid of being rejected, of being abandoned. It is that like cellular feeling and that very nervous system feeling of feeling like you're in danger around other women, feeling like it is not safe for you to be yourself, to put yourself out there, to shine and be big and sparkly around other women.
48:35And girl, we almost all of us got that. I grew up with a covert narcissist and it was like, for me, I have to be super bright and shiny. So this was more related to mother wound, but I'll just say, I was so afraid. I had to be bright and shiny because I had to get that validation and love and be like the pawn for the narcissist. But then also if I was too much, they would be jealous of me and they'd make me feel bad because they felt bad about how bright and shiny I was. And so I had to be big, but not too big. And it was like, it made them feel good, but also really sad at the same time. And then there'd be competition and jealousy and all this stuff.
49:10And that would also happen with women. You know, there's been women in my life that have been jealous of me, competitive of me, that have been envious of me. I've been the same with other women. It's guys, we're all doing this. So when you can heal the aspects of you that are creating that experience, that are, you know, holding onto that pain and really tend to and love the aspects of you that have been bullied or harmed, that's how you can create internal safety so that you feel safe being seen in the world. So for me, healing my own parts, going to the parts of me that have been, you know, abandoned, that have been hurt, that have been betrayed, that have been lied to, made fun of, and just loving and tending to them and creating internal safety in my system so that they know that I can go on stage and I've got their back.
49:55They don't need to worry about anything. They're completely safe to be seen. And I'm rewriting the story that they have. I'm releasing the story that they have in writing a new story, that's how you can be seen in the world. And that's how you can really allow visibility to be something that supports you in rewriting the story of female relationships and friendships. So parts work is the thing that I practice. Going to retreats like my Italy retreat, as an example, girl, the way that women have healed their relationship to the women by being around other loving, empathetic, kind women, you, one retreat with me, you are changing your entire ancestral lineage with other women.
50:32Let me tell you, all of my girls still hang out all the time. They just went on a trip together from one of my retreats. They're in each other's wedding. They like have been at each other's like baby showers. Like they're all best friends because there's such a texture of woman that is listening to the show that is connected to me that you see when you come to the retreat. So going to retreats can be huge. I think healing the mother wound is also really powerful. We've done episodes on that if you want to search mother wound. And then really being a nonjudgmental loving space for yourself and noticing where you yourself are being judgmental, critical, all the things.
51:06Because if you are being those things, you are going to think other people are going to do that to you. So it all starts with you. And to the question on friendship breakup. So we have, I think, an episode on friendship breakups that we'll link in the show notes. There's been an episode on healing the female friendship wound that we'll also link here. But what I'll say about friendship breakups, and you know, it's interesting because I was processing recently with a dear friend who was staying with me. My house is literally a hotel. There's someone at my house at any, it is months, months, months into the year.
51:39And I've had a person stay at my house the entire year, which is my pleasure. But we were processing something and I was kind of clocking. I'm like, I actually haven't had a friendship breakup in a really long time. And I think that speaks to, but I will say I've had friends that have moved in and out of my life, kind of like a jellyfish. You know, sometimes they're closer. Sometimes their little tendrils are closer to me. And sometimes they're a little bit further away and they're on their little jelly way. And we're just kind of little jellyfish that are just kind of moving and grooving close to each other.
52:09Sometimes we're kind of further away and sometimes we're closer away and that's totally fine. But I have people that have been closer to me in the orbit and then a little bit further to me in the orbit, but they've stayed within my orbit. The friends that I've had that have exited my life have been more so intentional and it happened a few years ago. And I think what I'll say about that is they were lack of boundaries, lack of positive communication. Oftentimes with people, there's like a values mismatch. I think for me, I'm incredibly discerning. So nowadays, it's actually a lot harder to get close to me than it is to be out of my life.
52:42Like once you're kind of in your in my life and the people that are in are just really stay for a long time. But if it is something where I feel like there's a values match, you know, it's not going to work for me. If I do feel like someone is off energetically, is not living in alignment with their values, is sort of unsafe, is immature, is not reciprocal, is, you know, self-obsessed or whatever the things are, then, you know, that's not going to work for me in the long term. And I think when you really value yourself and your energy and your life, it's really not something that's negative or positive.
53:18It just really is. You're like, okay, there's a situation where my energy is best to use another place and space. This is in the best interest of both of us. And sometimes you can have a conversation and sometimes not. I think the times in my life where I've had, there've been very few times in my life where I've had a conversation and it ended, but there've been times in life where I haven't had a conversation and it felt like the greatest greater message to me was a deeper values match and misalignment and that there wouldn't be enough. And there wasn't really the opportunity or there isn't an opportunity with someone who might be emotionally immature or unable to hold complex, nuanced conversations or someone that you're just not really interested in continuing with.
54:01And it's kind of your time. So I think friendships, breakups happen during times in your life where you're changing, you're evolving, they're changing, they're evolving. It just really is what it is. And I think social media and media has made us sort of attached to and keep a lot more people than we would in the olden days. If we look at our, you know, parents as an example, they don't really have as many friends, they keep like, you know, three to four, four to five friends. But because of our connected world, we sort of feel like we have to keep all 100 friends for our entire life. When in actuality, it really makes sense for friends to oscillate in and out of your life at depths and different varieties of closeness throughout, you know, your experience and for you to just maintain truth and authenticity to yourself.
54:44I think that's the one thing that I did, I think a few years ago was like in my mind, I psychically released all of the relationships in my life and all of the relationships that I didn't feel like were reciprocal. And I didn't feel like they were putting in the work that I was, or they were putting in the effort that I was. And in doing that, it actually allowed a lot of the relationships to first recalibrate to a really beautiful space where there was more reciprocity or the second they kind of reverberated out of my life and became more of an acquaintance, which is totally fine. And it's totally fine to have acquaintances.
55:16I think a really powerful episode you can listen to too is called the friendship edit. And that episode was, I did it a while ago and I actually wrote about it in our book. And I've been talking about this since like 2019, but I've been talking about editing your friendship circle for a really long time. I think you should have a lot of clarity with yourself on who are the people that get deep access to you, who are the people that are the party friends, the hangout friends, the kind of like kiki friends, and who are the people that are actually just acquaintances. When you can kind of demote or move people that are not worthy of your friendship to acquaintances, you're still kind to them, you're still loving to them, you're still yourself, but you don't have expectations of them and you're not really placing them in a space and place where you are like, you know, relying on them, depending on them, like anything like that, you can be so much happier and so much healthier.
56:02So in your life, you will have friendship breakups and endings. It is all okay. It is all part of the process. I've never once not had a situation where I had a friendship end and my life didn't get better. My life didn't get more aligned. It wasn't, you know, for the greatest good. So you have to trust yourself and your soul in the path. And oftentimes what will happen is you will have something blow up if there's been a small voice of your intuition that's been telling you to look at this friendship anyways. And so for many of us, we've kind of been hearing the voice of our intuition that there isn't a match in the relationship or the energy or whatever, and we're just not listening.
56:35So the more you can listen to that voice, the less you're going to have relationships end in ways that are dramatic or, you know, really stressful. And the more you're going to have the position or opportunity to have them end really peacefully and with love. You tell yourself, no one wants your college Arab band tees. But on Depop, people are searching for exactly what you've got. You once paid a small fortune for them at merch stands. Now, a teenager who calls them vintage will offer that same small fortune back. Sell them easily on Depop. Just snap a few photos and we'll take care of the rest.
57:11Who knew your questionable music taste would be a money-making machine? Your style can make you cash. Start selling on Depop where taste recognizes taste. Okay. The last question, last, last one I'm going to do, because I just found this last, you know, one that I really, really loved. And I think this is something that so much of my community has been asking. So saving it for last, saving it for the tea. This is something I've been wanting to talk about. And I talked a little bit about it in an episode that I did on like making sense of God and spirituality, where I talked about my journey to healing my relationship to the church, to religion, and reclaiming a unique individual relationship with God, the creator, outside of religion.
57:54And what I've noticed a lot in the spirituality space, a space that I've been in for, you know, over 10 years now, is that there has been a shift from new age to Christianity, new age to the Bible, new age to Jesus, which is beautiful and incredible, you know, whatever works for people. I think in my own personal experience, I've found my path is leading more that way because I've found such a peace and reverence and solace in having a simplicity of the way that I'm moving and the way that I'm operating and not really going to sources all over the place outside of myself, you know, crystals, tarot, da, da, da, da, to the voice within and the voice of God.
58:38And I think with the Bible, my take on the Bible, as I've been reading and studying the Bible for the past couple years now, I haven't really talked about it at all. But I've actually been studying it more like a historical document, and like a document and a book that has impacted humanity more than any other book of all time. And one that has so much power and so much significance to humanity. And one that has so much, so many interesting layers and so many interesting messages. And I was talking to a dear friend the other day in London, and she's in the space and she was saying that she had been studying the Bible.
59:17And she's like, you know, what's crazy is that every single new age principle, you know, law of attraction, manifestation, um, law of surrender, law of, you know, cause and effect, any of the principles that we read about in spirituality day through different books and teachers, almost all of it's found in the Bible. And so there is a really mystical power to the Bible. There's a very interesting way of the Bible. And there's a lot of, you know, powerful passages and teachers and principles in it. And so when I've read it more from that lens, rather than like, this is the dogma that I'm following, or this is like my new set of rules for my life, it's been way more impactful and way more helpful for my experience.
59:59I don't necessarily think that I've been like, I'm gonna now teach this to everyone or talk to everyone about this. I'm still making my way and sort of sussing it out, honestly. And for me, the approach that I have of like skepticism and suspicion is from growing up from a very religious, from a religious childhood in Ohio and also just like I always want to maintain my availability for people to have their own path and their own unique way and whatever I teach to my clients to my retreat attendees to any of the audience that I am connecting with I want you to have your own experience I want you to have your own unique identity I want you to have your own unique algorithm that you see the world through that you have and you live with and love with and like you being unique, the unique aspect of who you are, your true essence is what I'm all about.
1:00:57I don't want you to have the same beliefs as me. I don't want you to have the same thoughts as me. I don't want you to have the same like identity as me. I want you to be yourself, however that is. If that means that you're going on your path towards Jesus, great. If that means you're not, great. For me, I've found it to be really interesting and powerful and something I'm definitely watching in the spirituality space as well as more people move towards Christ. And the last thing I'll say about that is, you know, I was talking to, I was kind of just talking to Jesus the other day and I was like, you know what, like, if you want to be closer to me, if there's a deeper relationship that we can have, I'm available for it, but I'm scared.
1:01:34And that's how I talk to God. That's how I talk to Jesus. I'm like, I'm available to get closer to you, but I'm actually scared right now because I'm scared that you're going to make me weird. And I'm scared you're going to make me judgmental. and I'm scared you're going to make me fill in the blank of all the human things that people do to make Christianity like annoying. And I just like took it all to Jesus. I'm like, yo, if you want to be closer to me, you want to work through me, you want to work with me. Like this, this is what I'm scared of, but I'm available to change my mind. Cause I always am available to change my mind.
1:02:04And I'm not like, prove it to me, but I'm like, this is what I'm working with. You could come to God with anything. If you don't think God knows what's going on in your mind, in your heart, you're crazy. You can be like, God, I don't trust you. I am mad at you. I'm angry with you. I don't trust you. Help me find the way. Help me to know you better. Help me to see the truth. God is going to answer. You can guarantee that. And so you can have an honest relationship with the creator. You can have an honest relationship where you feel like you can be yourself, where you feel like you can bring all your grievances.
1:02:35You can wrestle with God, as they say. You can bring your grievances to God. God's not a cosmic butler. God's not a genie, but God will work with you if you have the true purity of your heart. And they say this both in the Quran and in the Bible, a true purity of your heart of a desire for a connection with the creator. So bring it all to God. Okay. My dears, how was that? We ran the gamut of all of it. And I hope you love this. Send it to a friend. You guys can talk about the things. You guys can answer the questions together. Could be really fun for you to be like, Ooh, what do you think about this?
1:03:08What do you think about this? And you can find me at it's Krista on Instagram. I've been loving Instagram more. So it's Krista on Instagram. It's Krista.com. It's I T S K R I S T A.
