00Welcome back to Dansplaining. As you can see if you're watching the video version of this we have a special guest today. Yeah, and I think this is my fault that we've had to be stuck with this guy because I promised everyone last week that we had an episode with Mikey Dale from Purple PR. Yep. Fashion royalty. Yeah, but I've been too busy to edit the episode because usually we have an editor called Josh, greatest man in the world. He's got a new pizza company. Go check it out. But I've been too busy. So we've drafted in somebody. We've flown them in. The fashion jester himself. Yeah. All the way from there.

31That room right there, three steps away. ladies and gentlemen my flatmate stylist extraordinaire Mr. Scott Bradley Croft I knew you were going to say Bradley I knew it I was going to say it before you but I appreciate the hype but I do just live here and I was just playing Playstation and I thought you know what jump on I want to be sandwiched between the Minecraft boys so we do need to cover this off I think quite quickly before someone turns this off like oh no this is changed from I'm going to steal your this is changed from bloke core to block core yeah exactly so I mean Scott didn't get the memo.

03And as I said, it's summer. Last year we had a bloke car. This year we have a bloke car. So yeah, we're going to get into some summer dressing style advice from two people wearing Minecraft t-shirts. Yep. And a man wearing a t-shirt. Baby tee's their own, man. Yeah, but this is a t-shirt of a baby rather than a baby tee. Can we describe this? Actually, can I just use your platform to kind of find who this kid is? So this was printed in the 80s. I bought it from Jerk's store. Great vintage retailer. I highly recommend checking them out but I bought this and this t-shirt was printed in like 82 or something so this baby is now like a fully grown man or woman probably got kids who are older than that kid now yeah so I wear this t-shirt quite religiously I always get comments on it and I'm hoping that it's not a eulogy tea it's actually a birthday tea I think it'll be like a stag do tea I'm hoping well it says I love you on it yeah so anyway we're making questionable fashion choices here but this is still a fashion podcast and we're going to talk about some fashion but I think before we get into that we can do a little catch up what we've been up to because there is a reason we're in these t-shirts and there's a reason really why Scott is here as well so yeah um should we start should we start there this is his present isn't it really yeah I mean I put my hand in for for the present you did indeed and uh speaking of which it was just before we started the last episode or just after we'd finished it Jordan turned around to me and said Danny nudged me what do you think of this and we were both giggling like school girls Jordan's actually never played Minecraft before me and Scott used to play it a lot so we decided to go to the Minecraft experience in London for Scott's birthday for Scott's birthday I didn't decide to go I was both dragged there Scott turned 28 and then on the day he did not know what he was doing like he still didn't know anything about it we hid it a secret for a good six days and then when we were getting ready in the morning Max who's a film editor is that muted good no is it muted mute it anyway just have a big thing yeah so Max came to join us he came round and then we said to Scott I hope your liver's prepared and Scott thought we were going wine tasting or something and instead we dragged him to not Seven Sisters what's it called Canada Water do you know what I also thought it was going to be so I was guessing on the way because you know I don't like being taken by a surprise and I saw the crystal maze and I was like okay lit but it's not going to be that.

27I thought it was going to be Ninja Warrior because you told me to wear my trainers. I didn't know how much activity there was going to be at the Minecraft experience which was right to wear trainers. But do you know what? Good times. I feel like a wine tasting would be a bit more mature, a bit more grown up. I mean, with the Minecraft experience, we came as boys. We came as men and left as boys. Although we did leave a hero. We all left as heroes. We saved how many villages? 4 ,118 so if anyone wants to go to the Minecraft experience it's been extended till September this is not an ad but you can go and be at a high score and I personally as someone who doesn't know Minecraft or anything like that personally wouldn't recommend it it was really expensive and really not worth the money but it was funny for us a lot to go it was and I love the fact that we've probably been playing Minecraft longer than double the age of the kids that were there there was kids running didn't you almost smack a kid over at one stage the kid ran into me Yeah, I was trying to pick up some fish, a snowball, a blazerod, and a kid, I did not see him, and then had to do a little wiggle out this way, so I didn't get.

33Well, a good caveat to end this segment, because I'm sure people don't want to listen to us talk about Minecraft. I know I don't. We have a free cape from the Minecraft experience. Now, how much are these going for online, Scott? So you could either keep this and have it on your Minecraft character, or you can pop this on eBay for the strong retail price of£31.62. you have a bag as well I saw one go for 120 but I think 120 pounds yeah but I think they had like a special edition special edition stuff yeah so we will read this out it's all in caps okay should we do a photo of it or I think let's just read it out you can fast forward click that times the sort of skip forward 30 seconds if you can if you don't want a Minecraft cape for your character I also this shows you how unrelated I am to this I thought it was a real cape that you got but yeah Oh, fuck off, really?

24Okay, V6JQH39DG3YJM6H4GG42GCV4Z. That's the only time you're going to hear it. If you want a free cape for your Minecraft character, if you're playing Minecraft, or if you want to sell it, that's your code. There you go. Now, as we get back into the episode. I mean, if you use it, send us a photo. Yeah, tag down splaining. Tag down splaining. Sweet. Anyway, onwards. what have you boys been up to anything fashion related yeah so we did a shoot together last week actually well Scott was on two shoots for the company three oh three that I was doing and I was just on one but mine was a three day shoot in a 40 degree heat studio now is this NDA'd I mean by the time this comes out well especially Scott's yes yeah yeah mine I can't and we can't do this anymore because the last time we had Scott on we had to pull the episode because he was saying too much yeah so he's learned from that um but no me and scott were styling a shoot for me it was fun um it was really ridiculously hot and yeah i don't think i've ever been that hot in my life studios because obviously you've got big lights there and we were going for a cheaper studio because you know we wanted to achieve more on a smaller budget so we made sacrifices and one of the sacrifices was air conditioning so on the second day when you went to the other shoot there was like air conditioning and everything oh lovely i mean it was it was good i mean i feel like it gets the best out of people because they just want to get out of the room.

52Same time, poor models, they were wearing autumnal clothes and they were sweating. Is that collection going to be released soon then? Yeah. So the stuff I shot, most of it's already out. The stuff that Scott shot is, yeah. And then some of it is already out. But it's interesting as well because some of these guys first time on camera I hate, you know, they're sweating because it's so hot. Well, what would you say I mean, this is good for all three of us to say. If you're someone in the creative industry and you've never done a shoot before, but you end up doing one, what would advice be? What, behind the camera?

28Well, no, because obviously these people weren't presenters, they weren't talent. They were just real, genuine, lovely humans. So I think, well, I think one of the things I did, which you were like, yeah, great shout, is the first person who came on set, I went over to them and talked to them, because they were sort of fluffing their lines a little bit. And I was chatting to them, I turned around, and there was like 15 people just sat behind the camera. So I basically cleared the set, so it was just basically me like you were on the side so you could still see like the clothes but in the eye line it was just me and Ben who was filming and yeah that was it so it just relaxed them a bit more rather than everyone staring at them so I think that was something that's a bit of advice is clear the room for new talent so is this a video shoot then?

08I did videos and stills is one of the videos out? no I showed you some clips of a video oh yeah and I've seen that I've done another shoot I feel like there's definitely either been a lookbook out or something I've shot a lookbook a couple of months ago with Diogo maybe that's what you're thinking of yeah because I think no it's different like a meme of the shoot no your things aren't different don't worry about that let's not talk in let's not talk in code yeah yeah fine well my bit of advice before we caveat again would be you're there for a reason yeah you know what I mean they picked you they want you and that's a great thing do you yeah no one's really looking at you as a person they're looking at you as a commodity is that your advice I mean as a model yeah it's like the pressure's not really on you it's like they don't if they say something looks good go with it it might not be your favourite photo you'll ever come out with but it's like trust the guys drop your ego can I say something then I think that's a great piece of advice but is that a piece of advice that you adhere to because oh my god the amount of modelling jobs over the years where you're like oh no I don't know and I'm like mate you're just you say I'm a clothes hanger just be the clothes hanger it's not you but you're so obsessed by like oh no I don't like that photo of me or like oh I don't want to pose like this oh bollocks you are well no of course I mean But that's exactly it.

20It's like, I mean, if you know what you like, then fine. But usually, nine times out of ten, they will provide you with whatever. I think we need to talk about something that I've just noticed. Come on. Have you got a mullet? Oh, my God, he does. I do, yeah. Oh, my God, he does. Have you got a mullet? There you go, straight into summer style. Having a busy day today, boys. No, you can't do this. You've never had a busy day in your life. I was up to two o 'clock making decks. This morning, I don't know if you made DJ equipment. So it was this morning I had a shit night's sleep. It's so warm in London at the moment.

55Looking back, it's not going to be as hot forever. It's a heat wave, slept like shit, woke up and then went to Camden for a fitting. So we thought, right, fitting's at 10, start doing another episode of the lowdown when I do this little video series, which we'll chat about later in the Bricklayer's Arms. We thought, right, fitting at 10, get back, film that 11, haircut at 12. But the fitting was a proper true fit. It's for Formula 1, so it was... No, it's not for Formula 1. That makes it sound like you're driving a car. I'm not getting a suit fitted. Well, I was getting a suit fitted, but not a race suit fitted.

29But it was a full-on alterations, tailoring. And I'm wearing the Hugo and Sloan collab. Nice. So it's Hugo, Sloan, and RB. So it's the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls. All them collab. And the piece is actually quite cool. I've actually got it over there. I'll show you afterwards. So I've got a tweed suit with Slorn's artwork on it. And then I can't really look exactly, but there's a jumper, which is quite cool. It's wearable. It is genuinely wearable. It could have been tragic, but it is quite cool. I would wear this outside. Outside of this. So what is it for? The Formula 1 So I've got a brunch Yeah but what are you doing For Formula 1?

16You're not running around The fucking track You're a Lightning McQueen It's going fast It's the same thing That we did last year So I'm there as an influencer You're going to Silverstone? So I'm going to Silverstone Yeah That was the question mate So it's a Formula 1 Sorry People don't understand They need some context around This is how long You've not done this The British Formula 1 Grand Prix Is at Silverstone On the 4th of July Is race day 3rd July is qualifying Blah blah blah But anyway So I'm going over to Silverstone near Milton Keynes for a brunch and then a few days later going there for the full race.

46So it was picking two looks. So he went over there, saw Ryan, Ryan Martin, he used to work at Fred Perry and Ryan now has another venture which I want you boys to come to as well. So you know Ryan's been doing wrestling for about three years now. Big fan. So Ryan said to me, Have you met Ryan before? At WWE wrestling? Yeah, you see. Yeah, of course. I didn't know if you meant like, you know, American college wrestling or like... Oh, right, no, no. it's still Logan Paul no so Ryan's got his oh my god I wish I remember his like wrestling name but he walks onto Happy Hardcore and he's been loving it he started it about three years ago he's been professional for a year and a half he said to me once you get paid you count as professional and he's now managing his own wrestling night or wrestling what they called true we'll go wrestling night do they need a pub quiz yeah sure do they need commentators yeah good lord but what's it called it's like he's a promoter yeah promotion night so yeah Ryan's putting on his own night so it's just in Mile End so it is I can find out the exact date and where it is it's alright we can pro it another time so it is 18th of July at Genesis Cinema Seven Sisters see you there so we'll all go down to that and it'll be fucking sick so Ryan what he's telling me his eyes are just absolutely full of passion is it with Seven Sisters or Mile End Genesis Cinema in Mile End where is it You know London more than I do.

11Bethel Green. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I actually went to a wrestling night near that area, Bethel Green actually, but different place, because we filmed an episode. So one of the shows that we had on Kyra, obviously we had PAQ, there was Naeva, there was Bad Panteen, and there was a show called Greatness, which both the stars of that have really blown up. Well, one of them was massively blown up. The other one's still massive as well. So you had Emerald Lewis, who's a really sick DJ, and Ash Niko, who's absolutely massive now. but they did a wrestling course and they became wrestlers and they wrestled that night so I wouldn't stop that that was sick that was such a did you come to that?

47no no I was invited but it was back when I lived in Canada do you think the episodes the episodes are still online aren't they? I mean all of them are are they still up? I don't know if greatness is still up maybe because there's big players in play now that it's been like yeah yeah so I don't know maybe have a little google it's called greatness maybe type in Kyra greatness and see what happens yeah and do you know the funny thing do you know what right so greatness actually opened up just a quick PAQ thing greatness actually helped PAQ get bigger because they all went off to shoot greatness and left me to do PAQ by myself which is when we did the t-shirt episode the first t-shirt episode episode 10 yeah which usually everybody was like piling in with their ideas and stuff like that that one they were all shooting greatness in Canada so they kind of went here's some budget go make what you want was that the floating house yeah yeah I love that episode yeah it's a great episode brilliant but they took all our equipment it was a rippers masterclass that was when you basically let Rippers run off as a full DLP.

41Only one episode's on there. That's crazy. Is that the one though? No, it's the one where they were on a foot in Ireland. That's the fighting house one. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, but they don't have the wrestling on there. No, they don't. But yeah, so they basically let me and it was Maya from the team and we just basically organised everything, shot it all and then that episode kind of blew up a little bit and I think that's when they went, oh cool, you can just keep doing it. So without them going to do Canada, this may not, you know, those little stride and door moments. But yeah, so okay, so Ryan's a wrestler.

09no I don't know what would be your wrestling name oh good lord come back to me we'll think of it Scotty the Hottie's taken so probably Scotty the Fottie Scotty the Fottie there we go take Scotty the Fottie there we go so yeah go see Ryan's wrestling so I'm going to Silverstone with them to watch the race which will be I mean brilliant as always with my third year running going which is insane because we went last year loved it I mean did we ever talk about this on the pod did the pod still exist at this point No, it didn't actually because I went separate from you. Yeah. We broke up. Well, you were my plus one almost.

47Yeah, true. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But no, that was amazing, that experience we went with Levi's and McLaren. Yeah. Are we allowed to talk about that because obviously you're now... No, are they paying you? Yes. Okay, then we won't talk about other brands regarding F1, but I will. I went with Levi's and McLaren. It was amazing. And the hardest thing was we did that driving simulator, which is like the F1 and it was the hardest thing ever because I didn't realise how much control of the car you have so I just kept off-roading it it was good you were really good though the guy said you were really good at it I think I came fourth out of everyone in that McLaren it's obviously not a booth it's like that section no like the VIP suite we ate loads of food we had loads of drinks I think we brought a bit of a vibe as well oh man great fun and they were filming the F1 film while we were there because Brad Pitt and Damned and Idris were and they had their own garage.

39And that film comes out today, tomorrow? Something like that. Natural one. Yep. Apex. But anyway, yeah, so you're going with Boss. How's their team doing? The Cash App one. Do you want to know? Just tell me you're good or bad, basically. Fine. Okay, fine's all right. It's Red Bull's sister team, and then Yuki. Yuki Tsunoda. I love Yuki Tsunoda. So at the start of the year, it was Isaac Hadja and Yuki Tsunoda, and Liam Lawson was at Red Bull. then they fired Liam after two races put Yuki in there Yuki's doing basically the same as Liam Liam got demoted and then now and now basically I mean Red Bull are still better than thinking but it's just Max carrying them no one can drive the Red Bull car and everyone's loving Isaac Hadjah the rookie and he's doing well I'll admit that was my fault you gave me a way out there that was concise that was as concise as I could be that was not concise I could have gone on for more Yes or no would have been concise.

36Yeah, good lad. So yeah, okay, well, apart from that, then you only got your mullet cut. So what made you get a mullet, mate? Well, no, I've actually filmed... Oh, we'll come back to that one after. So the mullet, I basically just wanted just a haircut. I know it sounds really daft, but I always get the best haircuts. When I... If I go back to Yorkshire, I used to live up with a hairdresser. Shout out to Europe and Murder in Driftfield if anyone needs a good haircut. So the girl's there. I just said something, can I just get a schoolboy haircut the one list that we have in Driftfield doesn't need a haircut it's my mum he's bald but yeah just get a schoolboy haircut it's perfect but in London so it's Hero so Hero's cut my hair a few times at Takito Hair so they have a partnership with Lyndon Staub so it's all like you can see on the Instagram sorry okay so you get your hair cut there I'm trying to find out why you got a mullet mate so he does he does like a time lapse of everything because he takes photos before and after, sets up his cameras.

34It's more time setting up social media than it is doing the actual haircut, bless him. And then he was going through the back. He said, I like this lens. Should we just take more of the sides? He cut off so much and then when it dried, it looks exactly the same apart from satin sides. You can definitely see your hair's shorter. Yeah, you've got from the top here. There's less weight in it. But the mullet's fucking mad. I'm not going to lie to you. Is it good or bad? No, you're a handsome guy so you get away with it. That's not bad. I'll get away with it. It's not the same is looking good, is it?

00So it's, should we just get rid of the bucket a little bit more? Okay, right now that you're looking at me, you're looking really 80s to me. You've got quite an 80s face. Good lord. I don't think it's bad. I think it's just because it's a fresh cut. I think once you've slept on it and you've showered and stuff. it's really good about it because it's two weeks. Yeah. Yeah, 100%. I think you should put a little hairband in the back. Low ponytail going on there. That'd look like me mum. She's got shifts, she's got a little tip of hair. Right, moving on. are you going to cut your hair because you sorry I know this has gone into a weird segment but you said you were posting about you wanted to cut your hair and you did AI images are you going I am I'm aiming to so Brixton who cuts my hair lovely guy in Neil Moody Studios in Spitalfields highly recommend he came round after work and he was going to shave all my hair off and he was like mate I'm so tired and I've got a McQueen shoot tomorrow and I was like fine just sort me out I just need something and he did and to be honest I do like it now he took off a lot though no I know but he shaved layers into it and yeah it's nice but I messaged him yesterday like I need to come by and I need to go because it's just too hot I'm over it I think and my mate Junior sorry very quickly for the ones listening he said it's too hot while he's wearing a beanie a wool beanie inside no no he got it shaved it's just that's one of those dread caps it's just like a little layer of hair in the knee well basically it was shout out Junior at Cremate for taking former guest yeah former guest for saying when I tie my hair up I put it like Zlatan Ibrahimovic yep And I can't unsee that now So that's got to go And I also just kind of want to see I kind of want a rat's tail Just for a second I think Scott should do On the top he should do the old R9 So get a little fringe And then a rat's tail at the back While you've got this amount of hair It'll grow back Exactly Yeah Nice Stunning Fashion So then Danny you also Recorded one of your little videos Your little bite sized videos About this week the one that you released this week was about fashion what happens at a fashion show yeah yeah so and I'm disappointed to know that the next one that you've actually recorded already isn't like you know the next stage of a fashion show how to get out of a fashion show you know the best transport at a fashion show what to wear at a fashion show you've just decided to go what to wear during summer yeah what to wear in a heat wave what to wear in a heat wave how to look cool how to stay cool during a heat wave is that like a double entendre I guess so so I think that's what we're basically going to base our episode today around the way we've decided to do because we realise that we're talking bollocks most of the time and we're not talking about fashion actually everyone came here for the fashion maybe they stick around for us some just fucking turn off when everyone's not talking about clothes but we figure we've got this little basis of a thing where Dan sort of like does a minute recap so we can deep dive a little bit we do still care about clothes even though this comes out usually before my episode comes out oh yeah that's why it doesn't get the engagement let's put it onto that no no very quickly what's happening we do need an update on the AI caption what happened I've given up they're just so lame so it's yeah just write them normally so yeah we're gonna do chat about summer because it's absolutely fucking swottering it's disgusting I don't feel like a real man at the moment I literally just feel zombified all the time I love it because I love shorts and that's it well I did mention it's how to dress for a heatwave essentials you need I was like I'm not your mum but I've got the haircut for it because I had my hair still long at that point okay I was saying about Trowsers and shorts I said I'm not A shorts man But Patagonia baggies Still cool I said yes I'd still wear them Yes yes I still wear mine Every now and again But the thing is I think there's so many Shorts out there now This is such a Fucking cheap thing There's so many shorts Out there now But like there's actually So many cool shorts out there That are probably Ripped off the baggies Yeah In regards to like Actually they're just Literally They've probably gone One on it So I think you can get something a bit more interesting.

54100%. Yeah? Where would you go? Well, the two people wearing shorts today are literally wearing two of the worst pairs of shorts I've ever seen in my life. These are KTZ. You remember KTZ? KTZ, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Cotton Design. Mate, that's really funny. KTZ, they did a pop-up at Pro Team when I worked there before they had the store in Soho. These are my comfy shorts. Yeah. So Scott's in KTZ Tribal 3-Quartal and Stagall. This is Churchprint, mate. This is Churchprint. With a baby tea and a beanie. They're like, they've got a drop crotch. They're three quarter lengths. They're kind of capris. You look like you're leading a sound bath at Brutti.

27The thing is, yeah, like, low-key, like, I fuck with this. This is my vibe. I don't dress like how I dress at home outside, but the way I dress inside is so much better. Like, my mentality and my aesthetic and my advice for summer is it's fucking hot, so wear what you want. Scott, no matter what, you're... He's also wearing leather hugs. I am wearing leather hugs. He always wears, no matter what, Scott is wearing boxers and a beanie indoors, and that's it. Yeah, it was because it's my uniform. It's like how I look in the mirror and now it's me looking back. Yeah, fair play. So, shorts recommendations, boys.

58Well, yeah, no, so I'm like, I was wearing these shorts yesterday. And this crackhead came up. Crackhead, I don't know if that's acceptable. I'm going to go over it anyway. This crackhead came up to me and they asked me for money. And they just stopped. They looked at what I was wearing. They were like, you got swag. And I was like, thank you. Because I was wearing my purple trainers, the purple hockers, with these tie-dye-esque supreme oversized shorts. These are one size too big for me, so they're giving a bit Adam Sandler vibes. Did you come over in that shirt as well? Yeah, mate. I cycled over in this.

32I ordered it from South London. So yeah, it's a look. It's a statement. But no, as I said, I've been wearing loads of Tekla shorts. That's like my... You'll catch me in Tekla shorts most days. I've got a nice pair of Monet shorts that I wear quite a lot. they sort of double up as swimwear and then there's a really cool tennis brand actually I bought you a book from them called Palms and they do like it's like a tennis inspired sort of street wear not street wear but like sort of grown up street wear yeah I suppose like Noah esque in some ways but tennis aligned they do really cool stuff they I got some nice shorts from them I just think like shorts just you can wear like I wear these like 10 pound or 8 pound shorts the Saudi Arabian football team's training shorts the amount of comments i get about this that beautiful green color just like pair it with like the little portugal shorts no but yeah they've got that same vibe yeah yeah um but then just you know if you're wearing like a hoodie in the evening or like a sweater um and then just we need you know more of these sort of stupid t-shirts i think as well yeah i think stupid oh shit no like you know but like i think we are in a stage now where i've got like a lot of plain tees from my favorite plain tees are the sort of noah recycle cotton ones okay i've got like once my oldie you know supreme wherever all these other stores and some other more japanese made ones especially uh when i'm feeling a bit more coit i can wear the japanese ones again but um i just think that we're now where we want to wear some stupid fucking t-shirts like from day one i think we'll be talking about good shirts as one of our favorite accounts on instagram yeah and uh you and i have a list of like 50 t-shirts that we want to make which is just because it comes all off the back of your t-shirt that says to-do list your mum with a checklist check on it that's the most comments i've ever had on t-shirt yeah so i think that's that oh that's my vibe for everything and then i think on the on the feet and i've seen a few i've seen a few girls comment being like wearing flip-flops this whole summer don't do it yeah don't do it get your dusty feet away from the dusty floor my shoulder somewhere is my hocker it is as you know or like a little slatty loafer and I'll be wearing my suede Horatio's a lot I did mention a slatty loafer obviously mentioned a boat shoe and then a low profile trainer okay yeah I disagree I think high profile high profile trainer for me like a bright chunky no no no his hop is a purple is it like a thin shoe not like a bruner anymore like it's a I think you get your gat sorry guys no I'm just saying I think like bright trainers I think everything that you're saying is right I think I think it's time to be silly I think fashion is too serious now I think everyone looks like a clone you go to Soho and you feel like you're stuck in the same tree because everyone's the same person and I think that it's all about you know core pieces and a bit of fun you know silly t-shirts shout out jerk store good place said it again because that's my recommendation and then like bright fun trainers like bring back like Adidas Raf Simons silhouettes you know what I mean I've got my bright yellow Asics I think Asics is a great brand Jamie Scott's oh my god do you know what I'd like them to come back yeah I think silly trainers fun bright collars but even like you know I wear my Pradas a lot but obviously they're very nice because they're like big chunky bright I would love a 2015 sneaker revival where it is stuff like yeah Raf Simons Oswego's Response Trail 2's I'd go feral for them I'd every single one yeah bit of Jeremy Scott anything like that it would be it'd be nice to see it back again I want to go to New York 2015 for style bring him back KTZ bring back Mazay Mazar bring back I don't know Raph Rick who else would be approached that time Hubbaier what Heron Preston was that a little bit Heron Preston was kind of the last 2018 Bean Trill oh man I see you've gone off the deep end now mate sorry there's a reason they're not here now the La Flame free Gucci Mane t-shirt that was a classic you're talking about your dodgy shorts you bought as well your Pyrex Pyrex It's my champion Pyrex.

41Yeah. I mean, they were always champion blanks. So then we just used to buy them off. We hustle. As I did, bless you. I just don't have the legs for shorts. Never have. What else did I mention? I basically just being a boring knobhead and saying about Riviera kind of style. I mean, listen, you know, so our friend Ben and Mike, they run a brand called Mone, which is all based out of Monaco. And I purchased a couple of things. They sent me a couple of things. And I wore it on the first episode. They're just like the best shirts. They are really well-dates. They're like seersucker. Super lightweight.

12I see a sucker wearing them. I'm going to South of France tomorrow. Oh, is it tomorrow? Yeah, so I'm going to take them with me. Prepare for me to be insufferable. Just loads of me drinking like rosé with... Of course. Ice cube in it? Poor Phil's going to take a photo. Ice cube with the rosé? Yeah, yeah, definitely. We're going to the shop to buy it. We sit at the top of Cote d 'Abbasque and you just pour it out. You need a little ice cube to cool it down. Nice. one thing I do want to chat about let's go for it Travis Scott being chief visionary for Oakley what does that mean boys? I mean things are about to get a lot sillier well so he's that could have been less enthusiastic I'm not enthusiastic about it I'm not going to give a shit about Oakley anyway unless you know I think this is brilliant Oakley are cool but you name celebrities as creative directors and it's just a bit shit like they don't really do anything in terms of like at the height of their careers, what did they do?

10I mean, to be fair, you quite enjoyed the Justin Timberlake golf shoes. Don't put words in my mouth. I enjoyed Justin Timberlake. You enjoyed golf. I thought you were just like, oh my God, Scott's talked to me about golf. What were they? It's the Victory Fours. I can't remember the name of them. Victory Fours. And then Justin Timberlake did a colourway and it's like a... I did one with Heron Preston. It's like a really light tan brown. A bit of pink, I think. Like a salmon pink. But they're really cool. Can I be honest about something? So it's cool doing collabs with... What, you don't like golf?

37No, I used to like, in that era, like say 2017 to 2020, 2016, I have all those hype brands. I really, really, really liked Heron Preston. I really liked it. I did too. I did too. I liked it. There was like, it wasn't that deep, but in my head at the time, I was like, oh, this is really deep. Cause there's always that meaning behind every collaboration and what they did. And I was like, this is sick. I'm well into it. And now I'm like, thank fuck I sold it all. No, I like the details that they put on the, on the products, like the little tabs and stuff. Like I think that's a really good way of adding like premium feel.

10So like just t-shirts and hoodies. Also, you see Matthew Williams bring back a leaks. Yeah. There you go. The revival's coming, Danny. Makes sense. I always wanted to, I think I was talking about, I wanted the chest rig, but I was like, never going to buy it. Like, you'd have to be, you'd have to be a certain type person. You'd look like a bouncer if you all want to know. Yeah. So I'll skip that. We'll go back then. Justin Timberlake. No, that's what you're saying. Travis Scott. Do you know what? No. But Justin Timberlake, his Levi's that he did, I have a white pair of Levi's. Do you know what?

40Best fitting Levi's I've ever had. His Nike collab with gold shoes, one of the best looking gold shoes. He's a man of taste. Do you know what? Justin Timberlake potentially is the best guest collaborator you could have with a brand. Believe it or not. That's a mad statement. I love it. But for the Levi's collaboration, I don't know if you know what you've just shot. No, no. I don't know how to say that. No, no. But that's what I mean. I didn't know if you were like. But no. back in the day when we were doing PAQ they approached us about doing something for the Justin Timberlake collab do you know the idea that I pitched them go on it was like because they were like oh yeah like Justin's not contracted to do any press because that was always the thing if we get a big celebrity we'd be sick yeah like this was before Billie Eilish days or maybe after but I wrote so I wrote the episode of it was the boys in pairs so like say you and Shaq and Dex and Elle and you were given like five grand each and you basically had to make it to, you had to go to America and try and hunt down Justin Timberlake and take a photo of him while you're wearing the jeans.

41Good. It would be fucking, do you know what I think? That'd be amazing. Yeah, why did that not happen? They would like, send it to Levi's, they were like, stalk Justin Timberlake. They would like, track him down. They would genuinely be like, sorry, you want to make this? I was like, yeah, I think it'd be so sick. Like the boys tracking down Justin Timberlake going to LA, working out, standing outside. I was like, there were sick parts of you like on those Star Map tours. how would you have approached that what would have been your strategy all fours sprint I would do a billboard and it would be like Justin we have your genes call this number that's not bad that's not bad but yeah they were just like I just don't know legally we can just try and make an episode filming Just Timulate and I was like well they don't have to find Just Timulate at the end you know that could be kind of the funny part and they were just like stop talking please stop talking now but I thought that was a fucking brilliant idea I agree well I think going back then to guest collaborations or whatever I think instead of naming a celebrity as your creative director at the height of their profession where you can see right through it and know that they're not going to have much of an input, having Travis Scott as, what was it?

44Creative consultant. It was... Visionary. Yeah, creative visionary. Yeah, the title. I think there's something like that. The reason this is coming about is... Chief visionary. I think there's something about that, which is like, you basically just sling him a text every so often and be like, we're thinking of this, is this cool or not? It makes more sense for a person like that. yeah he he's done a lot though because on the tour that he did the one the last tour uh yeah he was wearing like oakley but then i think his stylist got these like custom-made oakley rigs from i think someone in the uk yes yeah yeah like body rigs so like there was a lot of press around him because there's that really there's a clip that went viral where gabriel moses shooting it something just on his phone actually and he's underground and then he sort of shoots up but He's wearing the Oakley glasses and the Oakley chest rig.

32So, yeah, it kind of makes sense that Oakley went with him, I suppose. But I mean it more as a job. What celebrities would you like to see partnered with which brands as their chief? Oh, I'm a big fan of anything Justin Bieber's doing right now. Do you know what? Fully agree. You've converted me. Who would you like to see him be? I would think him and a collab with Benny Blanco. I'd love to see what them two would make. But as a chief visionary. Who would Justin Bieber Be the best chief visionary for? Benny Blanco Selena Gomez Yeah sorry I thought that's what You were talking about Yeah them two Imagine them two in a room I'd watch that for hours I think Is he going to fight over Selena?

12Oh shit yeah That's his ex Sorry that's why I was Yeah Oh fuck yeah Yeah let's take a left turn again Yeah I think Benny would be a good one For Bode Really? Yeah because he kind of Dresses like that anyway Yeah he dresses a bit Like a clown so Yeah Justin for ERL but Skylark kind of looks like ERL but I think ERL doesn't really need it yet I think Justin should do something like LRG when Justin used to be known for wearing like the purple caps being it for a brand like LRG you know the one with the tree the old skate brand yeah yeah something like that to revive it or like what was the one with the smiley face it's not is it no not his brand is a smiley face no no he's not Drew's gone he's like X that oh he's now Skylark oh I've seen oh it's his golf one isn't it it's like slippers and phone cases and hoodies it's like very you really are Justin he posts he posts every half an hour and I see them all the thing about I was trying to think what you were just saying something something went off oh yeah ERL they did a whole thing with North West oh yeah yeah and honestly anything North West doesn't in it it goes massive I think I think they're fucking annoying and that's right I'm sure she'll get over it yeah but like she's her own like celebrity and when you talk about like visionary like brands are hitting her up as more than Kim or like Kanye's influence in some ways it's really weird I think it's a tricky one I think celebrities if known for doing one thing I think leave them to do that because like and the perfect example of this would be Adrian Brody like he now thinks he's an artist and I think he's a great actor but he's a horrible artist and stuff like that like needs to not keep filtering through the cracks of society like you know what Justin Bieber as an example might have some good ideas for other brands but I think the people that have the good ideas are the career directors that already work there well one thing that Scott convinced me on John have you seen the recent photos of Brad Pitt yeah he's got a new stylist how he looks yeah yeah so he's now being styled by I've got a name Julie no I have the same one as Chalamet she does she does I think yeah yeah Taylor Taylor Neal or Taylor McNeil yes she does Chalamet and Taylor Johnson and someone else rather large Chris Evans so Scott is an actual official stylist by trade and Scott can see things we'll never see nah yeah I was not convinced I mean I still stand by that oversized blue velvet blazer one was awful awful but then i love this one where he's wearing like a a lilac lavender silk shirt with some blacks kind of uh they're like jeans but they're velvet velvet yeah not satin the velvet trousers i think he looks amazing in that i think because brad pitt's always had this sort of vagabond style and i think that obviously for the press for f1 he's been doing a lot of like several row suits so that's been nice but then to have that juxtaposition yeah it's like chaos he usually look absolutely dog shit.

22I saw some press where he's wearing some nice tailored trousers. Yeah, yeah. He's got a shoelace as his belt, but overly styled shoelace. I think for his scheduled appearances, like F1, premieres, and et cetera, he's in these suits. He's very well put together. And in his day-to-day, that's where the chaos comes out. And what it is, is what I think, is that they've taken inspiration from his Fight Club character, and they've kind of brought that character back. And I think that what has created such a buzz is his secret nostalgia there that people haven't really noticed. There's some, these shorts I was going to say about earlier, like there's this tie-dye look that he's wearing, like a double tie-dye look.

58That looks sick. He's got some weird like cut together sewn up pieces. I think Brad Pitt's Brad Pitt. And I think that's the thing is I would love a client like that because you can get away with anything. I mean, he's so easy to style in anything. He's just got the stereotypical look of a man. So it's not as if he's androgynous looking. He's not as if he's got any perks and quirks. He's just a generically handsome man. So you can stick him in anything and it could be hit and miss, especially with his build. At first when I saw it, I hated it. Now, I think it does look quite sick. There was photos on the Formula One account and did paddock fits over the years.

33How Michael Schumacher used to dress was so dated. It was awful. It was like necklaces I used to wear on holidays. Pocker shell. Well, he did used to wear a pocket shell one. Silver feathers and stuff like that. Yeah, but it'd be like just a black lace. just like a really it's like a shoelace but really tight and then just a silver pendant almost like uh i mean goth girls wear like a pentagram but instead of it being a pentagram it's like fucking some pendant of some sort looking back it's like really baggy jeans very footballer 2004 and you know what i used to hate that it cringed me out no end and now actually quite cool it's annoyingly winning me over and i'd never dress like that myself but i can appreciate it more just something like that sort of necklacing I was literally buying a new chain yesterday and I need to get some advice from you guys because there's a couple of different ones but you know Ellie Mercer does chains as well so I think that's what I'm going to go for like from a jewelry perspective it adds that little bit of colour without it being like spinning dollar bill spinning dollar sign I've got that tennis bracelet which is quite bling true yeah this is like a more subtle way I've always liked Ellie's things like rings she was like one of the first ones to do resin in layers She's being copied by so many people.

45Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah, big time. You know it's her ones. Absolutely, yeah. She's perfected it. 100%. She's the best. Just very quickly, we need to talk about celebrities because it kind of leads on to, we're actually in Fashion Week at the moment. Yeah. One, I think that there seems to be a lot less hype about it for some reason. It's less on my For You page or my Instagram. I feel like people are less excited to be there. Maybe because there was like Fetal of Music in Paris that felt like a bigger deal and we've got stuff going on in the UK at the moment. it really doesn't I don't know it's just the least excited I've been least coverage I've seen of it as well agreed but obviously you had like Louis Vuitton yesterday which felt really like dry flat yeah there was actually this purple knitted thing nice I like that yeah yeah but I just want to say did you see the and again we're not going to go too into detail with any of this stuff we could do a whole episode on fashion week if we want next week but did you see the PDF show yep no mate it is honestly one of the this is one where they had all the models predominantly black in like chill cells and he was riling them up by making monkey noises that part's not true that part's not true yep there's videos no he's like wait wait wait so where's the designer from Italy white Italian geezer oh my god right and it was like he basically was like it's and it also like he was like here's the concept the concept's so fucking basic so I don't know I don't know much about the brand I know I've seen like a couple of rappers wear it PDF I think oh you mentioned this the other day I did You did And it was like No it's like my creativity Breaking free from a jail So even if that was the concept There's better ways of doing that No no even that Just like the concept's shit Like it's so like It feels like GCSE It's a really cool idea Like actually where's the layers of depth to it Was that their first show in?

31I think they've done one No I think they've done one before Well they've just GG'd themselves Nice knowing you It was absolutely wild But like they had like big NBA stars Walking for them And I think I've seen Little Yachty wear it before but it was just and also it's very like street wear is this the Brad Pitt is that Mr. Mark no that's it's also like sorry very quickly like tie dye had its moment maybe like four years ago yeah I feel like low key it's going to be back this summer like low key yeah and then it'll come back around into the mainstream over the next couple of years so dig out your old Aries t-shirts and your home tie dye from lockdown it's time to bring it back yeah this PDF show it was actually it's a PDF to the channel yeah that's the one oh they've removed all coverage oh no they haven't so yeah it was if anyone's not seen it yeah I think it was so bad and it's very street where like does this stuff my thing is does this stuff need a fucking show like yeah you know they did a collab with Napa Peary and like Napa Peary commented how did that go through that Napa Peary's PR being like it's a sick idea let's do this somebody at some stage was like this is not cool V2 in it Yeah But it's pretty trashy anyway Not for me I mean there's certain things I don't hate No no no But does this need to be Does this need to have a fashion Does this look here Which is like a cropped t-shirt And some jeans Needs to be a fashion show Stick it on essence and be quiet But yeah so It was just more like Again that's probably the thing That's made the most noise During fashion week for me Yeah But like Prada felt really meh to me Which you know I'm a big Prada fan I didn't really see Much coverage of Prada Yeah I saw people there But I didn't really see much There's not really much coverage I think Dunhill looked nice yeah I saw that but again Dunhill was very like Dunhill yeah there was I think I saw some Todd stuff some Brioni stuff but nothing that I was like oh that's really interesting that's really pushing it that made a need for me to be able to see this on my timeline none of that stuff actually like got through again it was maybe that purple Chanel thing was the only thing I feel like because he should Louis Vuitton Louis Vuitton Louis Vuitton yeah the purple Louis Vuitton thing I was like oh that's really cool and like some of the some of the soft like the sort of like, it felt, it wasn't oversized, the fittings of it looked really nice, everything was really wearable, nothing was like, wow, that's amazing, which I think, you know, when you go to these shows, you talk about fashion shows a lot on your things, like, you want to be amazed at some of this stuff?

56Yeah, it's high art, that's what it is, it's like, a fashion show is fashion's, the epitome of fashion, like, it's a destination, you go there to experience something and now it's very much just like, melodramatic, kind of like yeah just how many celebrities can we get on the front row yeah Beyonce, Jay-Z actually that's probably what's the most about the Carter tour not Carter but yeah Beyonce tour no the the LV show they were there oh right that's the big thing about it the Carter tour was it was the cowboy Carter tour cowboy Carter tour mate went off it looked great it did look sick yeah it did yeah also very quickly did you know that I think we spoke with this that Robert Williams brought out Wiley oh my god and Lethal Bizzle wait what?

41such an awful video I mean fair play I've not seen the video but somebody was there National Treasure I wish Robbie just wasn't dancing on stage with them that's what you think man like hey until you've watched another man you can't comment about Robbie Williams yeah true also then like Dua Lipa brought out Jumera Quai and Charlie that's at different nights different people and also Jumera Quai and Mizzou Tons yes yeah That's what I mean, just random people just getting brought up. Like, Charlie X, X kind of makes sense. The other ones... Is it Has Been Revival? Is it soon going to be my time again?

16It's like the Avengers of music. Everyone's coming out. Yeah, you could be in the Avengers of YouTube. Beyonce will bring you out next door, I'm sure. It's going to be PewDiePie brings me and the boys out for a guest appearance. Well, PewDiePie's just dropped out of the top ten YouTubers for the first time. Oh, really? Yeah, you don't shock them. I am. Disgusted by that. He's been living his best life in Japan. I think he gave up. I think he's low-key been super depressed for the past couple years I think is it a wife and kid? no so he's that's why he's depressed no anyway let's not let's not get into PewDiePie I'm going I'm going to go Japan in October if you boys want to come by I actually really want to go I've decided basically while it's still super cheap I'm going to go well Bram can get cheap flights because he works for British Airways and that's a conversation for off the camera shout out Bram if anyone wants to discount here's Bram's discount for British Airways but yeah right before we leave then boys I have some big news he already knows we are dropping a shoe on Danny's Instagram later on today but not yet continue so I might be working alongside BFC I had a great call with them so it kind of spans along a lot of my socials that's you come with there carry on so essentially it can help us when the tide rises all the ships in the harbour float so I had a call with BFC the guys are really I thought it was Ellie Pult in the storm that's a very different very different thing so anyway so we're chatting to BFC and then Simon will be teaming up with them to bring a few of the episodes of the lowdown simply stuff where it's like what do the BFC do what is new gen what do they look out for when they're going to a fashion show and then also for our dance playing viewers they might be helping us out by getting a lot of the talent on the podcast so it'd be anything from so when you say you you actually mean us because yeah not me for the dance point of viewers I'll be I'll make them too when they come perfect everyone's a winner so yeah we're hopefully gonna do anything is there anyone that you'd like to see on because we want to do everything from new gen to the big dogs behind BFC to maybe their alumni Caroline Rush Caroline Rush would be amazing I don't know how much involvement she still has obviously when she stepped down I don't know if she'd still be but that's why I feel I feel like we should get her to like cause some beef or something I don't want beef okay so who else Martine Rose yeah Martine Martine would be amazing I went out to this party and my friend was like come sit down this is my friend Martine Kate Brinley yeah and I was like sat next to Martine Rose and me and Martine just hung out the whole night and I was like oh my god she's so cool it's actually unnerving how cool she is and so lovely and actually I thought she'd be a bit more like shy I think she'd be wicked as a podcast guest I mean if the BFC is still listening after all this Minecraft chat and locked in everything after that so who would you like to have Martin then Nicholas Daly would be a good one Nick Daly was on the list that were the potentials of who we could potentially have on Wells Bono you'd have to clean the flat if yeah I mean that's a given anyway Jonathan Anderson Jonathan is an alumni yeah why not we had that chat where he was going to come on yeah that was going to be interesting SS Daly Stephen I'd love Stephen lovely guy lovely guy you've worked with Stephen you start the show no you've got to work on your phrasing I helped style the show when I was working with Harry no no but yeah I've worked with him alongside Harry for a couple shows and just lovely guy really smart really talented Christopher Shannon I think oh that's her well I think Christopher Shannon in the 90s was 2000s 2000s yeah would have been like one of the most exciting designers in the UK uh scouse yeah super like about like working class using their platform to talk about like politics and inequality and things like that but also scouse so super funny loud hilarious um was offered i don't know if this is out there but you know was offered to go do some work for my jello turned it down no go here yeah this one's lived a life so yeah someone like that as well i think we're really fun who's like old school yeah that's what we want yeah it's how it's throughout the years.

29It's all Nash's, Priya's, SS Daily. Let's get some of the older people back on. Absolutely. Gareth Pugh, everyone like that. It's 15 minutes in. Should we call it there?
