Welcome to Espresso short, snappy Espresso short podcast episodes. i've literally downloaded all the wisdom from all the founders and all the brands like good tills coconut collaborative candy kittens little moons planet organic and i've distilled it into this micro short snappy wisdom to give you a mahoosive edge on the day to kick start your day so look without further ado let's get cracking and enjoy this espresso shot so it's a really simple action of just supporting female founders that's that's the message of that one of the bits best bits of advice i got was from this woman and it was she was i remember her so there did me she was actually so grumpy and she was like you know what i mean yeah i must have been about 19 or 20 at the time she's like no i mean it's a man's world so just work your way through it and i was like okay but i think in a way what i like about that approach is that like rather than constantly being upset about what's like happened let's just work within this and use the best of my abilities within that world and within that context for example the first time I had to encourage a guy to take a bet on me as someone with no traction to launch a bean business I remember I won them with my like my passion because I knew that in terms of how he was treating me he wasn't taking me seriously in a business sense but what I could do is rather than be offended that he wasn't taking my business actman seriously is I could be like do you know what well I can show him charming with my passion and my excitement and my energy and he'll be like oh she's really sweet I'll give her a go and then you know a few months later when he saw the business that was happening is like oh wow maybe i should take this woman seriously and stop treating her like a little girl but being a little girl got me through the door thank you so so much for listening it honestly means the world to me i hope you enjoyed your morning coffee and go and have an amazing day let's be having ya if you want the fun episode it will be in the show notes a link will be in the show notes the full episode thank you so much please leave friends as well it means the world
