1:31They're amazing. Even nothing comes of it. And even better news, you'll get your first month free if you reference Hungry. Thank you. Whilst you've got all of those kind of objectives, those goals to go in every day, day after day, to make something a habit. And then once it becomes a habit, then that breeds consistency. And what you need to do with that is sometimes you just simply need to dig deep and make it happen. And in the early, early days, all the obstacles, all of the, like, no one in the team, everything that came, like, against us, there was always that thing of just looking at the clock and being like, right, come on, dig deep, make it happen.

2:1417 years later, here we are now. And about three years ago, I added underneath, make it happen, make it happen together. Because I've developed and changed as a person and I've you know had the most amazing mentors in my life but one particular person who just you know gave me this advice very very early on when I opened my first business was that make it about the people and if you make it about the people then everything else will slowly but surely fall into place empower people like energize people the give know that you aren't always as the leader gonna have the best decision you might not be able to execute your idea as well as someone else can so then what you don't have is this kind of megalomaniac environment you have this environment of just everyone being empowered and that's taken time but it got to the point of like it's no longer that sort of solo feeling of like right make it happen it was like you still need make it happen but let's make it happen together and more recently something that we've really changed in in the kitchens um service at number six is that we've now rather than a group of chefs all doing different bits of prep jobs with different dishes to then come together on it we've actually broken down the dishes and given the dishes to a group of individuals a section so you are responsible for the pigeon the turbot and the prawn and everything that that dish those dishes are about you are responsible for so as opposed to like right can I have something of your section because I need it to make this dish it then it's been just game changing in that now the chefs have real true responsibility from start to finish that as a team little individual pockets of teams in the kitchen that that's their um responsibility and that's our you know that's our kind of free sort of real strong mantras if you like that we really now um like live by and that is you know we make it happen we make it happen together and we have responsibility thank you so so much for listening it honestly means the world to me i hope you enjoyed your morning coffee and go and have an amazing day let's be having ya if you want the fun episode it will be in show notes a link will be in the show notes the full episode thank you so much please leave friends as well means the world to me Thank you.
