Chipmaker Marvell beating third quarter earnings estimates and saying that it expects data center revenue to rise 25 percent next year. Marvell also announcing that it will acquire hardware startup Celestial AI for at least$3.3 billion in cash and stock. And Marvell shares are up by over 11 percent on all of this news. Identity management firm Okta topping earnings and revenue projections, but the stock is lower this morning. It's off by close to 4 percent. Okta did not provide fiscal guidance for 2027.
0:41And reports say that the Trump administration will propose weakening fuel efficiency standards finalized under former President Biden. Auto executives are said to have been invited to an event at the White House today. Big question as to what it will mean for their bottom line, though, because a lot of their lineups have been in the making for years. Saudi Arabia's public investment fund in the meantime will own about 93 percent of electronic arts once a deal to acquire the video game maker is complete. That's according to The Wall Street Journal. And the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 will resume later this month, more than a decade after that jet disappeared.
