0:01Hi, I'm Joe Kernan, co-host of Swockbox. Today I'm with Becky Quick and this is five things to know before today's opening bell. It's Jobs Friday. Number one, polled forecasters expect an increase of 125 ,000 non-farm payrolls in May. The unemployment rate is expected to hold steady. Remember, ADP on Friday is not the same thing, not necessarily indicative. Maybe even jobless claims might be more jolts or something, but that was a little bit weak. This was unbelievable yesterday. I wondered, didn't you, about Circle? Shares of stablecoin companies Circle sharply higher in pre-market trading after a big move yesterday.

0:41I think it was priced at like 31. Stock opened at 69. And today it's all the way up to 94. Up another 13%. And the shares of Lululemon. I wanted to lead with that this morning. I suggested that this morning. I did a double take when I saw this. No, I mean the top of the show. Oh, Lululemon? Yeah, kidding. There's some other stuff, right? A couple other things interceded. President Xi didn't even get top of the list. Yeah, President Xi didn't even get what Xi said. Plunged earnings and revenue. And the other guys, he. He and Xi, right? And Xi. He, yeah. Revenue beat estimates for comps sales growth of 1%, missed estimates of 3%.

1:30The company cut its full year guidance, citing a dynamic macro environment. The CFO said they're planning strategic price increases to mitigate the effects of tariffs. And then you got the shares of DocuSign sharply lower. Earnings and revenue beat estimates, but billings in the first quarter came in weaker than expected. The guidance. That's a big move, too. Yeah, the company's guidance for billing in the current quarter also came in below estimates. Broadcom earnings and revenue came in slightly higher than analysts expected. And current quarter guidance also beat estimates on strong AI revenue growth.

2:04But the stock's pulling back a bit after a strong run-up since the recent low hit in early April. Just after President Trump announced the sweeping tariff plan, stocks up about 70 % from the April. There were some concerns from the Broadcom call yesterday that maybe all of this AI growth is not going to be quite as strong as had been hoped for, had been anticipated. That's what they said. So that was five things? That was five things. Flies by when you're having fun. It's not National Donuts Day and Andrew's out for the second straight year. That's not the sixth thing you need to know. Well, that's the sixth thing.

2:42That's the sixth. We got our five. Which is a minimum of what he eats when he's here. Didn't he eat 14 one time? I think he ate like 14 minutes. That was in his prime. He has a hollow leg. That's what my mother used to say. You got a hollow leg. Hides it all. Exactly. We'll be back later today with an all-new Squawk Pod, our daily podcasts featuring the best of Squawk Box.
