Stablecoin issuer Circle has applied for a national trust bank charter. If the Office of the Controller of the Currency grants that request, Circle would be able to offer custody services to institutional clients for assets, which could include representations of stocks and bonds on a blockchain network. Boeing's chief financial officer, Brian West, is stepping down effective August 15th. He'll be succeeded by former Lockheed Martin executive Jay Malave. West will stay on as his advisor to Boeing's CEO.
