0:01Hi, I'm Joe Kernan, co-host of Swockbox. Today, I'm with Becky Quick and this is five things to know before today's opening bell. Lawyers for President Trump asking a federal appeals court to let his bid to fire Fed Governor Lisa Cook take effect before next week's rate setting meeting. Department of Justice officials want the court to rule by Monday afternoon. Meantime, a report from our own Steve Leesman says that Treasury Secretary Scott Besson met with several candidates to be the next Fed chair. He's met with them in recent days. Among them, former Fed official Larry Lindsey. Good. Kevin Warsh, good.

0:41And James Bullard, like all three of those. A Treasury source said Bessent will wait until the FOMC blackout period ends next week to interview sitting Fed officials. What was the story recently that said it was down to three again? I didn't see that. I don't listen. I've given up on that. Yeah. All right. We'll see. It's either 12 or three. Shares of Adobe are higher. Earnings and revenue. Guidance. And guidance. Top estimates. And meanwhile, shares of RH, formerly known as Restoration Hardware, or under pressure revenue, fell short. And the company cut its full year guidance, citing continued tariff uncertainty.

1:19It had affirmed that guidance just three months ago, though it did not reaffirm in this case. The company said the new forecast does not take into account the tariff investigation into furniture entering the United States that Trump, that the president announced last month. and shares of Supermicro are higher. The AI tech firm announced it's begun volume shipments of its NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra products to customers worldwide.
