We're watching shares of NVIDIA in the pre-market after closing down more than 3 % Friday on a CNBC report that one of its top rivals in China, Alibaba, is developing a competing AI chip. NVIDIA shares this morning off by about one and a half percent. Alibaba's Hong Kong listed shares shot up close to 20 % yesterday. That came after an earnings report on Friday that showed cloud computing revenue grew by 26 percent year over year. OpenAI is reportedly vetting potential partners to help build a massive data center in India.
0:43A Bloomberg report says that the site could be among the country's largest, and it could be announced by CEO Sam Altman when he visits India this month. And longtime Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has reportedly picked Chloe Maul to be her successor.
