President Trump reiterating a warning that fairly substantial tariffs are coming on semiconductor imports from companies that don't move production to the United States. The president made those comments at a meeting with tech executives last night. Speaking about Apple specifically, Trump said Tim Cook would be in pretty good shape. Bidders for a portion of Starbucks China operations have submitted offers valuing that business at up to$5 billion. That's according to a Reuters report. It says that most of the offers valued Starbucks China at 10 times its expected 2025 EBITDA.

An Anthropic executive who spoke to the Financial Times says that the company is trying to limit the ability of China's military and intelligence services to use its technology.
