22Hey, everybody. It's Bruce. Thanks for pulling up a chair for another bonus episode of Table for Two. Recently, I had an amazing lunch with the absolutely hilarious Natasha Lyonne. I'm so excited to share the full episode with you, but this week we're giving you a taste with one of the most honest lightning rounds I've ever done. We'll be back soon with the season finale with Natasha Lyonne. But for now, I hope you enjoy this fun little bonus. Okay, so this is my little speed round. Let's do it. All right. Favorite time of day? I would say probably between 3 and 4 a.m. When the phone stops. You know what I mean?

02There's nothing left. And you can finally listen to Quantum Physics an audio book in peace. Coffee or tea? While playing all the puzzles of the New York Times. Right, right. But didn't you create one? Yes, I did. I co-wrote with Deb Amlin. Wow. Yeah. Are you a coffee or tea? Coffee or tea? I think I don't actually know what tea is. Oh, here's one. An Arnold Palmer. Your coffee. Yes, I'm definitely a coffee all the way. Coffee with a splash of cream. Best advice. Best advice. An old milk matcha latte. Yeah, matcha latte. Why not? Pure buy. Best advice given. Something like you have to have the talent to back up the talent, which is like you have to be able to take care of the goods that kind of keep it going.

52you know I'm a bit like you know they really have a history this town I understand how they do it that they burn you out because it's just like suddenly they're just like you got mortgages and scripts to read and write like you know you're like what like why do I gotta put my hands on my hip or something and put it on Instagram like excuse me man I'm a 45 year old adult like there's no need for me to do this I didn't like go into like I'm gonna be a filmmaker to become an Instagram model so I think it's like to sort of figure out how to you know really it's a struggle like it's a real struggle the struggle's real favorite curse word cocksucker right yeah actor you most want to work with that you haven't oh I'm so sad that I haven't like I wish I got any pull Scorsese's doing a picture you know and they it's got Pesci and Keitel and De Niro I'm just like how did I fucking I miss all this.

52How did you miss that? I don't know, but it would break my heart to not be in one before. You know. Well, you listen to Scorsese's first kiss. How old were you? I can't remember. Maybe like 12, but I think it was on screen in Dennis Domenish with Walter Matthau, Joan Plowright, Chris Lloyd, and I played Dennis Domenish's babysitter. Okay. So I was like a gum-chewing 12-year-old, you know, with my hair. And I had such a crush on him, Devin Rattray, and then season one of Russian Doll, And it came out because I was like, where's Devin? And he was the guy from the big brother from Home Alone, the redhead.

27And I was like, oh, my God, is he the coolest guy ever? And, like, I was so scared. What do you notice first in a man and or a woman? I think it's really, like, an energetic thing of either, like, us. We're just both, like, you know, I could, like, see in your eyes. I could have mischief. And I'm just like, I'm in. Wherever we're going, don't tell me any more details. Let's just go. like that like there's kind of gotta be that sort of like sparky yeah if it's gonna be something that's like oh I'm so sorry I'm not your Al-Anon sponsor like I just I can't like I I wish I was I empathetically am I'm listening processing but it's such a deep level that I'm like I'm much better at a walk and talk like you and me like walking like clip speed like 71st to fucking get me home fucking you know East Village Just like All the way down Best thing to do Bopping and weaving Between taxis Like I don't want to You know Real New York walking And like that's when I get my real Like most hardcore Talking Nothing better Not with this like I don't really understand Eye contact I do understand it here Yeah But like There's something about Like taking in the city And sort of speaking Out this way I would love that Like and to me It's always like Navigating like Different streets And different things Yeah like boom Boom Boom You're like It's like a big Like, I thought dentist appointments on the Upper East Side was so great during COVID.

53Because then, you know, I'd put on my sneakers, I'd put on headphones. And it was like, I was like a kid with a Walkman in the city again. I hadn't had that experience in so long. I'm just like, you're just fucking like charging. You know, you're like, fuck FAO shorts. Boom, I'm this way. Like, you know. And all of a sudden you're there and you're like, wow, Central Park. Right, right. You know? Biggest turn off? It might actually be no sense of humor. because I get so confused like what the rules are of proper etiquette because I just assume that part of it is that we're just playing fun with words.

26You know what I mean? Biggest turn on. Thick, thick. You know what I mean? Like a nice fucking you know what I mean? Fucking nice backbreaker. You know what I mean? Bring that tsunami into the room. Just like, ow! That's not how you wake somebody up or I guess it is. And this is a question that Emil has that the women in his life have asked. Where do you get your hair done? Me? People are obsessed with your hair. You have gorgeous hair. Today, I mean, this is really, this is my, I don't know if you noticed, but I'm in like full pajamas. It's a classic great outfit. I mean, I think it really is.

06And again, I just want to say thank you to everybody who gave me all of these free items. The gold necklaces. Thanks to Chanel. Thanks to Kate. Thanks to the rings I stole from Poker Face or bought at a thrift store in the desert. Thanks to Laleen for these pants. Some thrift store for this shirt. Something I stole from set. Are you Uggs? By the way, I never wear Uggs. I only wore them from set because I was like, well, I'm doing a pajama thing. I think it's safe. This Gucci bag, not mine. Free merch from the studio. Oh, my God. That sucks. Yeah. Look at this Gucci bag. That's awesome. You know what is interesting?

40I did buy these in Murray Hill. I did. I bought it. You did in Murray Hill. Yes. On the way to that little, you know, museum there. The library one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Those are very nice. Godmother was around there. The one thing you have on, you bought those. This is my grandmother's. Oh, no, this is my godmother, Ruth. And this is my grandmother's. Yeah, so. I like that. I just like sort of, you know what I mean? You never know. You never know. So, the way I just fucking get done to this interview, I mean, I don't know if it's with the thick cugs that are going to get me to say, I'm old man.

11I mean, but there's a bunch of marks on my back. Not good, you know. Gene Hackman's fucking ghost. Like, anybody. Just to reiterate, I love Gene Hackman. I love his hands. I love Pulpation. You know, but I don't love Sam. You know, and I do think Trump's a pretty good comedian. I just wish he wasn't on, so, you know. Playing fucking. You're going to look around me on our Palo Alto hangout. Yeah. Play in New York. That's what we're going to do. Yes.
