In short

A BBC cricket-and-chat podcast episode that mixes a “Good Bad Billionaire” teaser about Mr Beast’s fortune with Tailenders’ own segments: a cricket-stadia TripAdvisor review quiz, discussion of Ashes build-up, and “go well” shout-outs.

Guests/backgrounds

Greg James (BBC Radio 1/5 Live presenter; flew in a Red Arrows jet, discusses G-force). Sir Jimmy Anderson (former England cricketer; discusses best grounds/changing rooms and hospitality). Felix White (author/host; shares mishaps with accidentally emailing his personal address and sending photos). Also mentioned: “Knight of the Realm” Jimmy Anderson; additional co-hosts/regulars including Matching Tendorker and Sharknado (on “ones and twos”).

Key claims

G-force is measured as acceleration relative to gravity (1G = Earth gravity; they experienced ~4.5G). Best cricket changing rooms: Edgbaston (space, viewing area, Wi-Fi outside). Oval is praised for city/sky views; PA at Oval is criticized. Ashes coverage feels premature; Pat Cummins is out; Steve Smith will captain again.

Notable examples

Mr Beast “coffin for days,” counting to 100,000, recreating Squid Games, and giving a homeless man $10,000. TripAdvisor quiz answers include Sydney Cricket Ground, The Oval, and Craven Cottage referenced via a review mix-up.

0:35How did a boycott Jimmy become a billionaire from posting videos? On Good Bad Billionaire, we're going to find out how the world's most popular YouTuber, Mr Beast, made his fortune. He's buried himself in a coffin for days. Counted to 100 ,000 on camera. And even recreated Squid Games, all in an attempt to go viral on the internet. But it all started when he gave a homeless man$10 ,000. So is he a philanthropist reshaping capitalism? Or is he just the king of the attention economy? Find out on Good Bad Billionaire. Listen on BBC.com or wherever you get your podcasts. Hello and welcome to Tailenders.

1:12Hello and thank you for having us on Tailenders. This is G-Force Greg James. Over there we have Knight of the Realm, Sir Jimmy Anderson. Hello. We also have Felix White, of course, and Matching Tendorker is a full house. Hello. Plus we have Sharknado on the ones and twos. It's going to be a great podcast today. I can feel it. Oh, before we continue, I don't want to go on about it, but only because it's relevant to this podcast. I had a flight in the Red Arrows, which you may have seen on my social media. Oh, yeah. I finally experienced G-Force, which I thought was telegrams relevant. And I was thinking about you all as I was under four and a bit Gs.

1:51And they also give you these trousers, which inflate to stop you from fainting, to push your blood back up to your head. and they're called g trousers so from now on i will respond to either g-force or g trousers just to be clear okay are you wearing g trousers um can i can i ask what is g can you describe to us what g-force actually is technically greg so um radio breakfast dj so uh yeah g-force is a person and that person is me the g-force uh are the the forces that are exerted upon you when you're going very very fast and sort of try try sort of defying grab trying to defy gravity and the force that your body is under when you're in motion and you're doing ridiculous sort of moves like loop de loops and you know that kind of thing so you know when you go really fast in a car and then you jam the brakes on and your body is like contorting and you're kind of like, it's those sorts of forces that are exerting on your body.

2:58I guess they're just gravitational forces, aren't they? G-forces. Do people get addicted to G-force because it must be quite a thrilling experience? I don't know if it's... You tell us, Greg. I don't know if I'm addicted to it. I don't know if... I don't think addicted is the right word. Okay. right yeah it's not it wasn't my favorite feeling but it did feel amazing it felt like it felt it was so very visceral and it's like you're pushing and pulling your body simultaneously and you feel it's not a comfortable experience if you're not used to it and you do feel like you're about to burst at times when you when you pulled the helmet off i've seen your picture with the helmet off you were quite sweaty yeah it's incredibly hot up there yeah i thought is it from what you're wearing or is it because of the physical exertion of coping with the g-force it's all of it it was all of it so i i took the helmet off and i hoped that i looked i felt like i i looked really heroic and hunky um because that's what that's what the pilots look like some crews and like not a word not not like a hair out of place for the guy that was flying me john john bond and then i looked back at the photos and I looked green and like my eyes had sunk back into my skull.

4:16Greg do you know what you've that taps into a little yearn there because you now know what it would look like if you scored 100 at Lord's and you take the helmet off you know that that's what you'd look like you'd like to think that you would look completely non-sweaty non-face but you look exactly like actually we should we should mock that up Greg's face but just from his bat in the air with the helmet off. Slightly less green. Yeah, slightly less green, but holding a bat up, but standing on a red arrow is what we're after. What a f***ing living the dream, boy. Yeah, it was unbelievably exciting.

4:52But yeah, the reason I was sweaty is because of the adrenaline. It was really hot because we were above the clouds and it was sort of blaring sunshine and the old planes don't really have air conditioning in them and you're in a massive suit. But mainly it was the nerves and the terror, which I was completely soaking wet afterwards. But anyway, so G-Trowels is here, checking in, and it was an amazing, amazing day. Do you want some science? And by science, I mean I've just Googled it. An actual problem. That's what matching does. Explanation. Okay. G-Force is a measure of acceleration. So 1G is the acceleration we feel due to the force of gravity.

5:29So can you imagine 2, 3, 4, it goes up to like 7, 8, or 9, and that's kind of insane. That's when people start passing out if you're not used to it. So we did about four and a half. So when you're on a roller coaster, you'll be experiencing G-Force. G-Force. How many Gs would you experience in a roller coaster? How many Gs? Depends how fast the roller coaster is, I guess. What about Vampire Ride? The fastest one in the world. Let's have a little look and we find out. So yeah, G-Force is a way to compare any acceleration to the acceleration caused by Earth's gravity. That's it, adding to it. G-Force, roller coaster.

6:07Vampire Ride. the vampire ride the vampire ride you used to love the vampire ride Chessington what's that? was that a Chessington? remember the vampire ride when I was like 10 that was like that was the one like get to the front of the vampire ride that's for the big boys vampire ride suspended roller coaster at Chessington World of Adventures maximum g-force of approximately 4g so similar I could have just done that instead of not wasting my time up in a red arrow yeah similar g-force similar g-force what about what about ramsey i mean the thing is though it's i wouldn't say it's not a similar speed the the vampire ride goes at 45 miles per hour we were at 450 miles per hour i'm just going to quickly google what ramsey's revenge is sorry i know this is how many g's at ramsey's revenge between three and four between three and four suspected much felt like it felt like it felt um anyway welcome to the podcast proper we're going to do matching's quiz in a second uh i wanted to talk about is one thing which we haven't mentioned we haven't brought to even the whatsapp group i don't think i wanted to bring to the podcast because it was making us all laugh i imagine independently we've not shared this so we'll share on the podcast something to do with felix's life we're going to talk about underrated ashes squads we're going to mention the fact that we're going to do some visualized podcasts, vodcasts, if you will, and you go well as well.

7:35The thing I was mentioning, Fee, is that I got an unbelievable number of messages from people saying, did Felix mean to put his email address out or is he doing that as a mistake? Is it a mistake or was it a bit? No, that's the real thing that happened. I was trying to send my book out. No, I wasn't trying to do something to do in my book, but I was trying to be clever with my mailing list but I do it myself and you know when you like plan it and you go I will send it at six o 'clock tomorrow because whatever the publishers were like oh that's a good time or something so I'm like yeah okay get my stuff together for whatever reason I don't know how this happened but it just sent out it sent out to my entire mailing list um as a subject header was my personal email so from that moment on for about two days i received i think i received an email a personal email from everyone on my mailing list warning me that i was going to be getting some emails and i had to begin with i was replying like thank you for letting me know but then it was like why are you adding to the why are you telling me i'm gonna get more emails you're one of the emails i know hi mate just emailing to say i think you're going to be inundated here i already know having seen or we started this podcast a little bit late because we got sent some new equipment for doing the podcast which is great seeing felix fiddle around for 20 minutes with a plug-in and go camera i can completely understand that he's done that with his email i'm glad you brought that up jimmy because that's that's why i was reminded of it because i was watching that i was watching nana sort out her camera i had so many i've still got them i've still got 450 how many have i got left to get through 452 to get through from people telling me i'm going to be getting some emails spread the word of the book though didn't it when me and felix went to the um fa cup final in the summer what are you going to come now we i took a couple of photos for his book yeah and then i said i will put them on like a shared google like you share them on google drive right yeah go on i don't know what he did but i put him on a share drive i said i sent him all the photos of the ffg and the next morning i woke up and i was clicking for my phone and there's i was like these photos from felix that i wasn't there at on my on my phone and somehow he's clicked the button where he transferred every single photo and video of the last 10 years onto my phone.

10:14I sent him my whole library. I sent him every photo on my phone. And I rang him. I was like, mate, is this, what have you done here? He's like, I don't know. Don't scroll back. Don't scroll back. I couldn't trust. And then I'm like, how do I know that you've deleted them and you're not still receiving every single photo that I take on my phone? I don't understand. he was like there's nothing weird in there but you know i might have taken a bath pic just but and i still don't know you might have seen them are they still synced to matching's phone that's what i'm saying it says no it says no but it's really hard to read next time we're together but to be honest with you like what's the worst going to happen people are going to email me go for it do you know what i mean don't say that don't say that because and also email me yeah don't invite hackers to use your email address as your username for everything that you've logged into in the last 10 years well i'm not inviting them i've just sent i've just broadcast what the email address is i think it's time to change it i'm afraid okay do i have to change my email address i actually probably do don't i might be a good idea yes okay okay let's move on with the podcast gmail.com he's given out his password is hashtag tenors world united take over you're like you're like the louvre you know the louvre's password was louvre really so good was it on their video system their part the password on the video system was Louvre.

12:03Public Enemy used to do this. They used to be on stage like going email me Flavor Flav at gmail.com. Chuck D. But that probably wasn't their personal email address. Let's move on with a quiz. Match him. This is a long awaited quiz. So what have you got for us please? Wow. Someone printing something. Sorry my printer's just kissed up. It's a shredder. Oh, no. It was a f***ing hell. Look at all of us with no technical ability whatsoever. I've got a shredder. Here he turns up chatting about my technical ability. Oh, it's jammed as well. It's jammed. Suddenly, Grandad Anderson, Grandad Sir Anderson's f***ing printer starts going off in the back.

12:52Is that your night here, Jim? Fax. He did fax it, yeah. at Princess Anne's faxed it to him. Oh my God, do you remember the Shredder? I love the Shredder. This is how it happened. Jimmy Shredder. Is this the Shredder room? Yeah, Shredder's by my feet now, yeah. The Phantom Shredder. Yeah, this is for any newer Tailenders listeners. The Shredder became a huge, a huge unsung hero of the podcast, really, when Jimmy's knee touched it once and it went off. And then we had a whole thing where on our live shows, people would bring items to be Shred. I love that. When we do a live show again, we need to bring back the big shredder i think or maybe just maybe maybe the printer yeah people can ask people don't have printers anymore do they no people don't really have printers well it's not like it's not a family staple is it like it used to be in the 90s like a printer was like you had to have a printer but now i think maybe people could come and bring their stuff for us to print i'm feeling quite i'm actually getting quite emotional thinking about the shredder i've still got it maybe i should i should bring the actual i should have brought the actual shredder on tour shouldn't I?

13:57Yeah you should have done. What was I thinking? But you can bring the actual printer and the actual shredder now next time we do this. I can't even remember what make it is. I'm going to get it out. If it's not a red cell P58C it's my HP desk jet that's causing trouble.

14:19Oh my god. The shredder. I forgot about you shredding stuff on stage when I used to get him in the goggles and he used to shred I don't know. We're getting memories. He started shredding mangoes and stuff, didn't he? Yeah. It got silly, didn't it? It turned into industrial-sized shredding. Yeah, I think that's a natural conclusion, really. People were getting you to shred their marriage certificates and old passports and all sorts of stuff. Yeah, divorcees. How did a boycott Jimmy become a billionaire from posting videos? On Good Bad Billionaire, we're going to find out how the world's most popular YouTuber, Mr Beast, made his fortune.

15:00He's buried himself in a coffin for days. Listen on BBC.com or wherever you get your podcasts. yeah yeah matching let's do a quiz then let's do a quiz welcome to it this is a brand new original quiz for tail enders listeners welcome to send that up for review oh thank you for having us on sending it up for thank you for having us on send that up for review this is very exciting basically i requested some theme tunes last week for people that knew the quiz we've had two entries do you want to hear them yeah okay here we go Felix you sent me this one oh no well just to be clear this is not personally from me this is from is it Dan I believe Dan what did Dan email it to you so so from now on I'm just having a very personal correspondence with people so you you all know my email address so just get in touch with me directly and I'll deal with it from there or of course you can if you prefer you can turn up to his house yeah exactly this is from Dan Taylor he lives down the road from you apparently he does live down the road from me so this is Dan Taylor's jingle

16:33with so many grounds with which to choose send that for review

16:49it's nice that's very nice nice it's so lovely beautiful that's very lovely song in december i can't remember he does the song in december but it's got that vibe to it and we're gonna take it up it's going a different direction this time this is from a guy called max who is in a band called deco don't know if you know deco um they do they got big by doing 80s covers of modern songs Oh yeah, I love them. They're great, yeah. Max is a tellender and he sent in this. Oh, geez. He's in the 80s. Send that up for a review. Keep rolling. Rolling. Stop there. Okay. I'm ready to make my decision. Send that up for a review.

17:26The which stadium is he referring to? Send that up for a review. It's not cut behind a WPW. Send that up for a review. And welcome our host, ladies and gentlemen, Magic Denbal Gold!

17:52Oh, wow. Come on. That's just Duran Duran. Yeah. I love that. So, big thank you to Deco. Fantastic. Fantastic. That's really cool. Yeah. Okay, so this is how we're going to be taking a deep dive into the world of cricket stadia. and the TripAdvisor reviews, they garner. Can you identify which mystery stadium is based on the TripAdvisor reviews? Guys, what's your favourite things? What do you look out for in cricket stadia? Oh, if we're doing it seriously. I've forgotten this bit. I've actually just thrown something in like, oh, now tell me something. This is like the bit, if we're doing a daytime quiz show, I'm just getting to know the contestants.

18:35Well, this is the bit where Alexander Armstrong pretends to like people. Yeah. And he, no, he always does this because he, obviously they record about 50 episodes a week or something. I used to like people. Well, no, because he, because he loses interest really quickly in the, he goes, Oh, Barbara, Barbara. So tell us a bit about yourself, Barbara. And she'll go, well, um, um, I've recently become a grandmother. Um, Oh really? How many kids, how many grandkids have you got? Two, two, two little, um, girls now. And yes, they're, they're, they're really lovely. and we like to go, you know, strawberry picking in the summer.

19:11And he'll go, ha, ha, ha, that's great. So let's get to your questions. Yeah. Now, f*** off, Barbara. Enough about you. Boring. You're a narcissist, Barbara. So can I answer earnestly, please, for a change? Yes. Please, please, let me, let me. Do you know what I like at Cricket Ground? Particularly a big test venue. Oh, yeah. Big, big sky. Big sky? I like seeing big sky. So let me, let me, let me, I don't like it to be too much like a cauldron. I like seeing the world outside of the ground as well. So that, that might be, I've never been, I know Jimmy's sort of nodding because maybe in your head you've got, you know, you've got like a beautiful, I don't know, like table mountain in the background or like Dhammashala.

19:58But even, and we bang on about it all the time, the Oval is one of the reasons it's better than Lourdes is you can see the city. You can see the sky because it's not too high, the walls, and you can see everything. And it's sort of quite nice to have the backdrop of the city with this beautiful little oasis in the middle of it. And you don't get that, you know, like a Lourdes or an MCG. It's very much like, oh, we're in this thing. That's what I like. I love it. Fantastic shout. It's interesting that you say the Oval because it just shows where you watch cricket from at the Oval. So I'm guessing like the Chairman's Lounge, a nice hospitality view right at the top of the stadium.

20:35Because I've sat in the stands at the bottom and you can see **** all. You can see a massive gas thing, whatever that is. Yeah, but that's nice. I like that because you're part of the city. That's what I'm getting at. I mean, I sit all over the place at the Oval, but usually Pavilion Balcony, which you get it's not the highest point the ocs stand is the highest point you can see for miles but i just i like seeing a little bit of you can see the flats behind it you can see the big skyscrapers you can see the planes going over properly you can see into the distance you can see the weather coming in and out you don't feel like you've been removed from the world but yeah you are right i have a privileged life jimmy what about you what what about not just for playing what about changing room wise what's the best one to go to oh yeah so particular thank you for delving into the psyche of jimmy henson yeah thanks for the question matt the best best changing room is probably edge baston good wi-fi uh well you're not allowed your phones during games but the wi-fi outside of that's decent it's more for the size of size of the seat that you get in the dressing room for a player and the spot that you get like lords is tiny so getting like 12 13 people in there is really difficult edge baston you've got space in the actual dressing room itself where you get changed.

21:50There's also a great viewing area, which is behind the bowler's arm with solfers and you can watch there. I think viewing area is quite important. Like Headingley, for example, is quite a small dressing room. When they built the new pavilion at Headingley, they forgot to put somewhere for the players to watch from and actually to walk out onto the ground from. So they stood, I don't know if you've seen where the players, like there's a balcony there now, which I believe Dickie Bird paid for really but yeah before that balcony was there it was literally they put like a port-a-cabin on the side so you can watch from and it's like so if Stuart Broad stood in there his head would be touching the you know the those sort of foam bits at the top of a roof yeah his head would actually go through that yeah so I like comfort bits bit of space and comfort the the ones at i think the gabba feature in that film the edge which i know a few of you on this call have actually worked on that is it the gabba they talk about being you're on right on the ground in the dark and there's no natural light and you just all you can hear is the roar of the of the crowd above you and you can't really see you can't see anything out it's sort of prison like and then suddenly you're just ejected into the Coliseum essentially.

23:13Yeah, I think it's just Sydney in Australia where the changing rooms are above ground, like in the old school pavilion. Every other ground is, I've not played at the new Perth Stadium. The old Wacker was also above ground, but I'm pretty sure the new one's below. And each ground you've got to go up a sort of, I don't know what you call it, gangway thing, ramp up onto the field. So MCG's like that. Adelaide's like that. The Gabba's like that. But it's like, and there's viewing areas, but you've got to walk like up four flights of stairs to get there. So it's a difficult place to get comfortable.

23:50Deliberately, I guess, designed that way. And then yeah, visiting sides. Yeah. And all you can, well, the home changing rooms is the same. Yeah, but you get used to it, I guess. You sort of, and it's also your home, your home place, your home crowd, your home spot. But yeah, it's an awful place to get, because like when you're bold, you want to just, As a bowler, you want to relax and try and wind down. And when you're underneath in the changing room, all you can hear is sort of the faint, not faint murmur, but it's like a, I don't know, like a roar sometimes, but you're trying to work out what noise is what.

24:23Is that a play or miss? Is that a thing? It's just really difficult to work out. You just can't get comfortable. Oh, it's so interesting. Do you think, Jimmy, do you think we are more hospitable to Australians in terms of that stuff than Australia are to English travelling teams. I think England is very hospitable to touring teams, yeah. Yeah. For example, I think it was the last time the West Indies came over here, they wanted a Caribbean chef. Brilliant. So that was then provided by the ECB for them. Love it. And obviously when we go on tour, we get what we're given, sort of thing. Oh, really?

24:58Hmm. You won't take your own chef, you just be whatever they serve up. We have taken our own chef a couple of times, but generally it's just get what you're giving you. Come on then, give us what's the actual game then? So I'm going to read out. So for example, this is not a cricket ground, but can you guess where this is? This is an example to get people's head in the game. Okay. This is a TripAdvisor review. Yes, it's old. It might hold your interest for a second or two, wondering how they did it all those years ago. But until you realize that about the same time, 2 ,000 miles away, the Great Pyramids are being built, just Google pictures of it, then book a flight to Egypt.

25:30Where would that be? That's not a stadium. That's another famous landmark. Sorry, sorry. What's the game again? What are you asking us to do? What are we doing? No, this is just giving you an example. I was just trying to explain the game. What is it? Okay, let's play. What was the answer to that, by the way? That was Stonehenge. Right. Right. Why is that in any way relevant to the game? Because I was trying to say, basically, I've studied TripAdvisor reviews and I'm going to read you some. You have to guess which ground you're at. Okay. But when did they play cricket at Stonehenge? I was just using that as an example.

26:04Forget about Stonehenge. To ease people into the game. Forget about Stonehenge. I've thrown you with Stonehenge. They're actually not dissimilar to stumps, are they? Yeah, you could. Maybe that's what it was. Giants playing cricket. Giant stumps, yeah. Yeah, so... That's how they got them. Okay. And if you hit some of the boulders, if you hit some of the stones on the full, is that six? But can you be caught off Stonehenge? All right, thanks, Barbara. We're going to play. Here we go.

26:33we're moving on now thank you barbara

26:40you could uh i've got three i think i've got uh three reviews from each ground so if at any time you think you know where it is you can just lock it in and say text me all right or write it down whatever okay okay do you want to in an accent i can do all regional accents i'll call you going on so just Yeah. Do you want a regional accent for the review? The answer is yes. Which one? Well, whatever one you want. Anything that won't get me cancelled. Okay, I'll go Welsh for this one. Where are you? I'm here. Beer limited to a tasteless 3.5 % strength. Although the wine was drinkable, don't buy food from the ground.

27:21The fried chicken was grotesquely salted. the hot dog full of artificial stuff and tasted horrible also everything is very expensive so if you eat it you will die poor as well what's the accent why has the accent changed three times i love that review what a miserable moan die poor as well because most of the complaints about the ground are food food food being too expensive if you're picking if you're picking a hot dog and you're complaining it's artificial. I mean, you've only got yourself to blame. They don't grow in the ground, do they? Totally. Okay, if you want to guess, you can. If not, I'm going to do the next one.

28:02Thank you, pal. The scoreboard. I think the scoreboard is basically a mood ring for the city. If you like suspense and dramatic groans, this place is peak theatre. Five stars. Well, I mean, I could probably... Should I text it? Yeah, got an idea. Say that one again, Matt, Jim. The scoreboard is basically a mood ring. Oh, we had a guess from Jimmy Anderson. The scoreboard is basically a mood ring for this city. I've lost it. If you like suspense and dramatic groans, this place is peak theatre. Jimmy and Greg, both wrong. Okay, next one. What ruins the experience is the constant reminders that you will be ejected from the ground if you throw a beach ball in the crowd.

28:47It got so ridiculous when almost a whole row of people made a beer snake to the amusement of the crowd, but the cops and the security came and destroyed the beer snake. They also encouraged you to dob on the other patrons by texting their seat details to a number if you don't like them. Overall, it seemed way too extreme. Two stars. Incorrect Jimmy and incorrect Greg. Put your phone on silent.

29:16Please. okay we've had guesses of adelaide edgbaston just keep texting him old trafford no yeah okay greg says lords no go again phoenix we need an answer before we move on i would have said i would have said lords i'm not texting you can i'm doing it by email bristol no the correct answer what's your what's your guess sophie i was gonna say lords it's not right is it no it's sydney cricket ground okay sydney okay okay next one thank you where are we send that up for review we heard this is where cricket matches are held we were having breakfast and thought we'd check it out since we were so close unfortunately it was closed and we couldn't get in four stars still four stars though still four stars okay this is quite telling What I'm about to write is totally subjective, but the mostly male crowd was so badly dressed.

30:25Most men were in their middle age and out of shape and dressed in the now ubiquitous shorts and T-shirts, which looked like they'd been around for a good many years, faded and out of shape. The guy seated in front of me looked like he was wearing swim shorts. I'm not expecting ties and jackets, but guys, take a look at yourself before you leave the house. three stars who's doing that yeah

30:54honestly do you not know how to do it what me it's fine do it do it keep turning down okay great ground great cricket great atmosphere old Trafford 100 could learn a thing or two I'm not actually listening to one thing you say at the moment but god Okay, next one. Last one. Great ground, great cricket, great atmosphere. Old Trafford 100 could learn a thing or two. Okay, I've guessed mine. Okay. I've said that right. Headingly, no, Jimmy. Firstly, a perennial gripe is the appalling public address, which is extremely hard to hear over the crowd. When you can hear it, it's usually delivered by hyperactive teenagers who speak so quickly they are incoherent at best.

31:39As for the resident DJs, they do not know how stupid they look, prancing around like demented X-Factor failures. Two stars. Wow. I don't think that's for there. That is a mad one. That's someone that, is that, that sounds like blowers at the hundred.

32:02Jimmy, his guest, Headingley, no. Yeah. Greg's guest, Sophia Gardens, no. B? I'm going to say Edgebaston. No, that was the Oval. who overall, just so you know, Oval scored 4.7 on TripAdvisor, which is very good. I only picked out the bad ones. But overall, doing a great job, Oval. I don't want to slag anyone off. Well, they are right about the PA. Yeah, the PA is dreadful. You could never hear anything at the Oval. What about the badly dressed men? Yeah. I'm behind the badly dressed men. Dress what you like. Dress whatever you want. But what I will say is you don't have, just because you're going to sport, you don't have to wear a gilet and brown shoes.

32:47You don't have to. I think the guy doing the review is in the gilet and brown shoes, though. I think his problem is with the people in the sports clothing that he deems out of shape. Oh, I see. It is. Yeah. I think he's a gilet brown shoe guy. Oh, I see. I don't, formal gear at sport is not, it's too weird. It's really weird to wear a tie at sport. have any of you ever written a trip advisor review no what do you think have you yeah you have yeah only positive though i'll keep it positive that's nice i've done it i've done it i've done it in restaurants and cafes when they've been like oh could you could you do this and you feel because if you say that was really nice and that before you know it like can you give us a google review you go oh yeah i will of course but okay final one which stadia is this for sports fans that like older stadiums in the US, like the Wrigley or Fenway, this has the same feel to it.

33:41The Tudor colours of the stadium that makes it aesthetically pleasing. Four stars. Should I text you? Email. Email me, yeah. Don't tell them. Give us another one. Very high security on my email. Unusual ground. The smallest of the grounds in the city, and I can see why. There is no atmosphere, and the ground is usually half emptied. It's a strange Little Place not recommended one star Felix's guest SCG we just had that oh oh have we oh um you really aren't listening final review final review poshest ground in the country surrounded by three million pound houses and the river quiet and their songs only last for five to ten seconds two stars their songs little red herring there I was describing Craven Cottage which is oh it's not cricket round is it so yeah i know just a bit of fun we're having there fee it's like Fenway Park you're right a little bit of fun a bit of fun we're having and that was send that up for review thank you can we have the theme tune again keep rolling rolling stop there okay i'm ready to make my decision

35:03But which stadium is he referring to? Send that up for review. It's not cut behind a WPW. Send that up for review. And welcome our host, ladies and gentlemen, Magic Dendon Gold.

35:27Thank you, Flay. Send that up for review. Thank you for having us. Send that up for review. I feel like Dan's theme tune has been overlooked a bit there but it's beautiful guitar playing we'll play Dan's as well yeah play Dan's because it's such good guitar playing

36:03Thank you, Dan Taylor. Sounds a bit **** now after the deco one. No, come on. We love Dan Taylor. I'm joking. No, it's fantastic. Yeah, another quiz where the theme tune is considerably better than the quiz itself. Yes. Great. I will take that on board for next week. Ashes. Now, I wonder how we're feeling about the Ashes. Obviously, we're excited, but it does feel like everyone's gone a bit early on all the content because we're not there yet. And there's, there is nothing to talk about yet. Really? Do we agree with that? Well, Cummins is out. That's all we can tell you. Cummins is out. Steve Smith is going to be captain, which is in itself interesting.

36:43They've forgiven, they've forgotten, and he's back as the captain again. Jimmy, what's your take? For me, it's a bit like Christmas. Like, obviously everyone looks forward to it. Well, most people do, but when they start putting the Christmas stuff in shops in September, I'm like, just give it, can we, can we have a minute, please? I just want to remember the summer, enjoy what happened. It feels a bit like that. Like the sort of previews have been going on for ages, the build up to it. It feels like it's been going on forever already and there's still two weeks to go. So I'm a bit... It's tough.

37:17It's tough because they're getting, they've got access with a lot of the Aussie players and they've got to the point now where they're going, hey, Pat Cummings, can you say one nice thing about an England player? And he's like, I don't want to be doing this. Come on, I'm trying to prepare for a massive series here. I can tell it's coming because I've had in my head, it's just appeared recently. Brim full of ashes and you just got five. So that's when I know it's... That's like the Mariah Carey of Christmas. Exactly. When you start hearing that, you know the ashes have come in. It is the season to be jolly.

37:52That's when you know when you start singing that in your head. Usman Khawaja, what's your favourite thing about England? that said we have got some visualized podcasts coming up the news is that the bbc are getting us to do some in vision content and we're going to be doing an ashes preview before obviously the first ashes test and then we're going to do an episode on day five of every test match and it will be a review of that test match so we are booked in we're going to be doing that throughout the ashes winter that we're about to have. And that's really exciting. Thanks, by the way, for your ashes underrated 11.

38:29We really like some of the names. Some of the names that were thrown up are ones that we hadn't considered yet and hadn't been mentioned in some of the chats we'd have been having. Simon Katic kept getting mentions. Simon Katic are great. He's one of those players that in any other era that didn't have that incredible top order, he would have been one of the all-time greats. Andrew Simon's name got mentioned. We've got Steve Finn was mentioned a lot from, he was on the podcast last week. Caddick got a nice few mentions. Michael Bevan, another one. Another good Aussie. Obviously another Aussie spinner.

39:02Stuart McGill, Robin Smith, Scott Boland, Mike Brearley and Simon Jones. Some really good ones. So thank you for all of those. Ryan Harris is a good one. I think Ryan Harris is great, isn't he, Jim? He's not underrated in cricket in circles. No way. He's one of the best. culturally I don't know I couldn't I feel like he was one of the best Aussie bowlers I think the only reason to be underrated and not held in the same sort of scale as anyone else is the fact that he didn't play as much as say a McGrath or a Brett Lee or whatever but the period that he did play he was hampered by injuries but the period he played he was amazing what about Siddle I'd add Siddle into that as well as one of those as one of those guys yeah again Again, not underrated.

39:52I don't think underrated. We just have not talked about in the same way that like, oh my God, Brett Lee. Oh my God, Glenn McGrath. Even someone like Jason Gillespie got a lot of plaudits back in the day. Anyway, so what we're getting at, I guess, is those sort of workhorse Aussie bowlers that go a little bit under the radar, a bit like a Scott Boland type. So those visualised podcasts are coming and we're looking forward to doing those. You can see our faces as we're also talking about cricket. And they will be much, there'll be less loosely cricket based. There'll be more cricket based podcasts.

40:28I was trying to persuade Sharky on the visualized pods that I could have a sort of sidekick Simon role with a big screen. Yeah, that's what I was imagining. Do the stats with. Is that happening? I think probably not. Just throwing it out there. Let's do some go-wells. Thanks, Barbara. Yeah, thank you, Barbara. Thank you, Barbara. Let's start with birthdays. Oh, and also go well to Doug and the rest of the men's partially sighted football team who are off to Turkey to play in the world championships. Go well. Cheers. That is the end of today's TaleEnders. Thank you very much for listening, everybody. We'll be back with some visualised procedures next, and that'll be the start of our Ashes coverage, and obviously the podcast will continue as well. Go well, cheers, and see you all next week in person, in real life, human being real life. Go well. Cheers. Cheers!
