In short
Theotis Beasley interview on The Bunt, covering his skate origins in Inglewood, his rise via Baker 3, memories with the Baker crew, skate-video/DVD culture, sneaker/box collecting, and crossover connections outside skating (notably Lil Wayne and event/music work). They also discuss skate media preservation, current skate videos, and a “shout out” segment.
Guest backgrounds
Theotis Beasley is a longtime pro skateboarder from Inglewood, California. He grew up skating at Hartthorn Skate Park (“Dirty”) and credits his cousin Reef for introducing him to skating. He later broke through when Drew/“the boss” found him and got him a part in Baker 3, alongside Rami Issa (shared part).
Key claims
- Drew/“the boss” actively searched for him after he impressed at Hartthorn, leading to a Baker 3 part.
- Baker 3 “opened the door” because people asked “who are these two little kids?”
- His mom was supportive but constantly checked in about drugs/homework while he stayed at the Baker house.
- He still gets excited for boxes and tracks releases via Sneaker News.
- He connected with Lil Wayne through Mountain Dew at SXSW; Wayne’s team later stayed in touch, and Theotis now runs events and manages an up-and-coming artist.
Notable examples
- Favorite skate moment: trying a nollie heal off the Hartthorn three-block for hours while pros watched.
- Sports moment: buying tickets for what he thought was Kobe’s final game, only to learn it wasn’t.
- Baker house anecdote: DVDs/DVD players had strict rules; one time a DVD was thrown over a balcony.
- Birthday party: at his mom’s house—chicken wings and strippers, including “hot wax” and a “wands” moment.
- Transworld Chronicles ender: last-day pressure leading to kickflip 5 and later returning to the same hubba for kickflip nosegrind.

7:55Let's get this thing started. Truly an honor to have Theotis Beasley in the building today. Theotis, what's cracking, man? Man, I'm good, man. How my big brother's doing? I'm chilling. I'm at the crib just hanging out. How y 'all feeling? Dude, great, man. Even better having you here, man. Long time coming, dude. Glad we could make it happen. Seriously, I appreciate it. I know we've been trying to put it together for a minute. but we here now. Safer wasn't taking no for an answer, man. He needed this one, bro. No, for sure. It's not like I wasn't going to do it at all. I've been doing so much other stuff.
8:28I'm like, all right, it's coming for sure. I told the homies, like, yo, bro, you got to do that. It's like great exposure. Everybody's been on there. I'm like, yeah, of course. I love them. It's just a matter of time.
8:40Davis Torgerson:Once I came to your birthday party with Jake a couple of years ago, I've been bugging you ever since then, bro. Every couple of months. How many years ago was that? Wait, because I'm 35 now. It might have been 2022. Okay. Or three. I can't remember. But yeah. Yeah, I remember. Yeah, we got that photo with Jake Crazy. Yeah. I remember that. At the Holy Hotel. And you were pouring tequila straight into our mouths, man. Oh, yeah. I had to make sure my dogs was good, man. That owned the hotel. Shout out to the Wayfair brothers. Yeah, they always give me like, I think, four bottles. Well, five. So I was like, yeah, we got enough alcohol to go around.
9:20Davis Torgerson:That's awesome, dude. And y 'all just got there, too. So everybody else was lit. I had to catch y 'all up. Y 'all had to get caught up. You know what I'm saying? Got to catch y 'all up. You can't be in here looking around sober now.
9:34Type shit. Type shit. Oh, that's what's up, man. This is good already. I love it. Well, Theotis, we start every show off the same, no matter what. You got to hit us with your favorite skate moment and your favorite sports moment. Favorite skate moment? I would say just being at the Hartthorn Skate Park, which we call it Dirty. Louie Lopez is from there. Shout out to my brother Louie. Furby, Salcedo. He's from Hartthorn. It was just one of those days. I grew up skating there, even though I'm from Englewood. But I first got sponsored there. So I was trying to nolly heal off the three block that's there.
10:13Reynolds was there. They told me Flip Nasty. I want to say Brayden was there and Dustin. It might have been somebody else, but I think that was the crew for sure. And I remember just trying for hours. I was locked in on trying that trick. And everybody else, I looked around like, damn, all the homies were skating. But I get it if the boss and all these people was coming in the skate park, which we don't ever see them. So it's like legendary. These are people we grew up on that we're big fans of. So I was like, shit, I was locked in. Everybody else sat down watching them. was trying that thing for I think like two or three hours just kept wheelbiting I landed it Drew came over he was like yo can I watch that and I was like shit so I looked at the homie like yeah show him the boss accent we talking to me I'm not filming shit I'm trying to trick so he showed him and he was just like yo that was sick um before you leave I want to get your address and I went what the hell so I went to the parking lot wrote it down on like a piece of paper I think or something like that.
11:12And I ended up moving and he went out his way and looked for me. So what happened is I went, I was looking to get probably a new board or some trucks at the skate shop close by in Lawndale called Point of Impact. And I went in there and it was like, yo, Reynolds been looking for you. He left his number. And I'm like, what the fuck? Why is he looking for me? Shit, it would have just been a lost cause. Shit, I missed out on the boss. I'm like, damn, I would have never known. But for him to go out his way to look for me meant so much. I'm like, he didn't have to do that. He's like, well, okay, it was dope, but I don't know what to tell you.
11:46On to the next. So that shit meant a lot. I text him, and he was like, yeah, we've been looking for you. Send me your address. Yeah, my new address. I was living in Inglewood at the time, and every week I got a box of fucking wristbands. I'm like, what you call it? Yeah, wristbands. what else shit hats beanies all kind of stuff and i was just hooking up the homies on the block next week another box and mom's was like where the hell is all this shit coming from are you stealing it i'm like no i'm not stealing this shit so i had to let her talk to drew and yeah it was amazing she just was like oh okay that's sick man yeah boss dude taking care of The ball came through.
12:29Seriously. The ball's got a good eye for kids. Daddy do. All right. And what about sports moment? You're a sports guy? Yeah, very. Really big in basketball. Not so much anything else. Not so much football. But I got a basketball moment. But I'm going to be a Rams fan just because I'm from Inglewood. I know we got the Chargers, but I'm going to go for the Rams. Just being biased. But as far as sports, Lakers all day, Kobe. No question. Dodgers, of course. But moment when Kobe was retiring, people was like, oh, this is his last game. So I made sure I bought tickets for that. And so happened. That wasn't the last game.
13:07I was mad as hell. I'm mad as fuck. I'm like, damn. He's still thinking about it. Yeah, bro. Hot. Thinking it's the last game. And it was like the one after that. I'm like, damn, I really wasted my money. People was like, yeah, it's the last game. Get tickets. They play me. I need my money back. Gotta holla at the Staples Center, man. That's crazy.
13:30Davis Torgerson:Yeah, bro. But wait, it was on the schedule. Didn't you know it was the Utah game was going to be his last game? Shit. I probably was fried and we weren't paying attention or something. He read the schedule. Let me go to the 79th game. It's 82, fellas. Yeah, I blew it. I don't know what happened. But that's one of those moments I had, man. That's what's up. Colby guy, though, man. Yeah. yeah i know like uh p rod and uh costan got to meet him in that today was a good day the nike commercial we did which i was a part of that but like more like later down um when it was almost done so that would have been great to meet bro yeah legendary so yo real quick how you ranking mj kobe lebron one two three what's your what's your rank wow that's a good one i know y 'all was gonna come with this shit i was trying to be prepared because i was watching episodes i know I've never asked this before.
14:25I don't even think I'm going to say for this. I'm going to go with Kobe first. There's nothing like him and never will be. I know they compare him to LeBron. LeBron knows there's only one Kobe. LeBron is greatness, but it's Kobe. I'm going to go Kobe, MJ, LeBron.
14:45Davis Torgerson:Oh, my God. All day. Come on. Talk to me. I think that LeBron is so delirious, he would think he's number one. or yeah he probably would i mean he's great but a competitor's got to you know you got to believe in yourself so for sure yeah ain't nothing wrong with that lebron probably thinks that kobe over mj even from l and six rings five rings for sure kobe over mj for sure absolutely that and in my perspective but i got more jordans than i got kobe so i think i probably got two but jordan they got the heat kobe made good basketball shoes but i ain't really going out to the club wearing basketball shoes.
15:22I think when I see dudes with basketball shoes, it's kind of funny. It's not in a club.
15:27Davis Torgerson:If the world was ending and you needed all the cash you could get instantly, how much does your whole shoe collection go for?
15:38You know, see now a lot of the shoes, I skated so many back in the day. Back then, you're not thinking of like, oh, let me... I mean obviously got resellers people selling shoes and shit so the shoes that I see now I'm like damn this is a thing people selling shoes but back then you're not thinking that but people was on that ahead of time they were stashing them yeah so I'm just skating all of them like I forgot some of the names I mean you know people like oh you got the western names I'm like what the fuck is that everybody's like I'm like I don't know the names like after I keep hearing them oh you talking about those I got those for sure you know the boy got them early but um don't play with me you know the boy they gotta send a boy the shoes right of course of course but yeah man i think uh i would say not much you know shoes trickle down obviously looking at prices and stuff like where me sometimes i buy some jordans or sometimes some nikes that i know nike probably can't really get you so i just spend some money but my collection i'll say probably got like a bit a good like 40 50 piece sitting on the side okay okay yeah not too crazy it could be probably more back in the day yeah you skated them you're supposed to skate them man you know yeah exactly you're supposed to skate your kicks exactly you probably skated some expensive ones looking back now you're like didn't need to do that but you didn't know yep exactly you already know i'm sure safe i went through that too back in the day they were handing out those dunk lows and no one knew what the hell they were man oh they just like shit giving them out like it was candy.
17:12It hurt.
17:15Davis Torgerson:Our buddy Jacob showed me a website with all the prices of them like 10 years later or something. I was like, I shed a tear of seeing how much fucking money I skated and those shit. Hell yeah, you could have put down that shit for a mortgage. I wanted to whip either one. Seriously. It's crazy. It's all good. We were young and we just wanted to skate. That's what they were giving to us for. Exactly. Facts. Theo, take us back to the beginning. Where did you grow up and how did you get into skating? Where? From Inglewood, California. I got into skating for my cousin. I shot my cousin Reef. It was like a family get-together at the crib.
18:02I remember we were about to leave. It was nighttime. He was like, yo, come outside. I want to show you a trick off the curb. He did a kickflip and he actually landed it. So I didn't know shit about skating at the time. So I'm like, how the hell did you land in the dark? I thought he glued his feet together some kind of way. I just never understood it. But obviously, as you get older and learn about his timing. But he was a big fan of blind skateboards. He always had a blind board. Before it was time to go home, I'm like, bro, you got an extra board? You got me hiked on this. And he just had the deck.
18:35I didn't have no trucks, no wheels, none of that. Then I went to Hartthorn where I grew up skating at the Dirty. My boy JJ got a skate shop called JJ Skateboards and Threads. Bought the trucks, wheels, the whole setup for the board. At the time, I didn't even know there was a skate park right there because I looked up a spot. Just happened to be the skate shop right there parked down the street. So just end up going there every other day and got to meet all the homies and that just became the local park.
19:05Davis Torgerson:That's epic, man. Yeah, man. Shows to Cuz, man. Dude, kick him up in the dark, man. Yeah, literally. But he rapped now. I don't know if he's still rapping. I haven't talked to him in a minute. But most interviews, I definitely shout out Cuz, though. Because for sure, I don't know. I don't think I probably would have been skateboarding if he didn't introduce me to it, to be honest. I would play basketball at school just messing around. But, yeah, I don't think I'd be skateboarding, to be honest. That's crazy, man. All it takes is one thing to get someone hooked, you know? Facts. Yep, that's exactly what happened.
19:35So what would you consider your first big break in the skate industry? First biggest break, obviously, getting on Baker. And Drew telling me, well, him finding me, going to Point of Impact, getting a number, calling him. He's like, yo, bro, we've been looking for you. We're working on Baker 3. We want you to have a part in there. But we're so young and, shit, we got school and shit, so we can't really be jumping off stairs and shit. And we got to like, we got to go to school. So me and Rami shared a part. Shout out my brother Rami Issa. I got to check on my dog. We still came for fun messing around.
20:12But anyway, yeah, when we got, when we, when Baker 3 came out, there was like, who is these two little kids? And that opened up the door for us.
20:20Davis Torgerson:For sure. Yeah. Yeah. So speaking of Baker 3, you and Antoine Dixon were kind of went from unknown to household names overnight. night and it seemed like you always had a big brother, little brother type of relationship. How did that start and how's your relationship today? Yeah, it's crazy because he would be at the dirty too, but then it's like he got on Baker first. But yeah, Beagle will always pick us up. He'll be in the front seat. I'm in the back seat. I think Beagle had like a blue Saturn. We'll just be running through Huntington Beach. We stopped by his parents' house with Antoine. They got the Talbert gap that he very healed in the Baker through video.
21:00And I just got the front big spin. Yeah. Same day, I believe. And it's still crazy till today, even though he would FTP. Obviously, shout out to the boss. We want him back on Baker.
21:12Davis Torgerson:Not holding back. We want the boy back. Bring him home, man. We know Antoine's loyal, though. We know Antoine's loyal. But I think a lot of people would be happy to see that board. Even if it's a guest board. But that Dixon board would go crazy. in the OG writing, if we got that. Oh, man. I want it so bad. That's for the culture, man. I think still today, he'd go out with Beagle. I'm probably seeing him this week. Every time Beagle picks me up, he's most likely in shotgun. So we still got that bun. Every morning, he sends me these spiritual paragraphs, pretty much. It's on Instagram. Every morning, I look up.
21:52Every morning, he sends me something. I know I'm going to get a DM from Antoine every morning. That's so nice, man.
21:57Davis Torgerson:That's awesome. Yeah, it's amazing. Thank you to you. Yeah, man. That's like 20 years ago now. I don't remember what year that video came out, but that's it. Oh, Baker 3? Yeah. 2005? Wow. Yeah. Damn. In 2005? That's a beautiful thing. You guys are still tight, man. The same year we dropped our homie video, dude. Those two videos went toe-to-toe on the charts, man. Oh, did they? They went neck-to-neck? They went neck to neck. It was the championship final. Like shit. Y 'all went neck to neck. We did our thing, man. You know? Yeah. Y 'all definitely doing y 'all shit, man. You mentioned your boy, Rami.
22:38What's he up to these days, man? We haven't seen much of him since Baker 3. Yeah. You know what? Rami, I think a little bit after Baker. Can't really remember the story, but then he ended up getting foundation flow. Shout out to my brother, Mike Sinclair. He ended up hooking him with the whole tummy, with the decline. But obviously, Baker was his dream, of course. That ended a little short. But that's my brother. Ain't nothing changed. He still looks the same. A little older. Obviously, now we all are. And I think my bro bought two houses. Wow. Good for him, man. Yeah, it's crazy. Hearing that as kids.
23:15And I remember he just told me, I'm like, damn, that's dope. I was hyped. I was surprised. It's amazing. What happened with him and Baker? How come he ended up going down the foundation road? That I don't really know. Honestly, I don't. I really don't know that. I just almost as I was young and I still never really asked. And I just stayed out of that because people still actually like, yeah, I didn't want to say the wrong thing. I really don't know. Like, I know it's more of like Beagle have a more answer for that one. Okay. Yeah, Beagle's know the answer to that because he was always filming me and him.

23:48So I know he knows.
23:50Davis Torgerson:Yeah. So before we move on from Rami, I forget who told us to ask you this, but what were the games of skate like between you two? Yeah, it's crazy because we both we obviously both got on Baker's Shared Apart. We both got on Spitfire. No, Crew. We both got on Crew in America. So my boxes used to find out I was going to go over a bro house and spend a night because it's close in the area to Beagle, Hollywood. That's what Rami said at the time. and I have my boxes shipped there. And then it was just little kids, like Christmas. He opened his box, I'm opening up mine. He's like, damn, I think we were the same size.
24:28He was like, oh, I want that one. Can we trade that? I'm like, nah. They'll send you this shit, this mine. Yeah, bro. So we used to open up each other's boxes and just like, damn, I wanted that. That's hard. But yeah, bro, I remember those crew days where we just opened up our boxes and just hyped. but the games of skate um yeah we'll skate at the top obviously by the five and the eight um at hollywood high and uh yeah i don't remember who we're winning or not but rami was very consistent with his flag ground that's i think that's like all he was like he was dialed in at that probably was whooping my ass to be honest i ain't gonna hold you i think it's already warming up before i got dropped off so yeah bro was already warmed up he's strategic okay?
25:15Yep. Shout out to my brother Rami. Meet me there at 1.15 and he's there early. Right. Bro, they already at 12.30 warmed up working on new tricks. He know what shit I can't do. So he's like, yeah, you ready to play skate? Why you so eager to play skate? He ready to beat my ass. Yeah. Shout out to my dog, man. I love my brother. That's awesome. Yeah, man. So, yo, when you were a young pup coming up, what was it like hanging out at the Baker house with Flip and Reno? So I heard they would give you a hard time, but you would hit them back with the positivity. Yeah, where the hell y 'all get all these questions?
25:49Y 'all got some good shit. Yeah, man. Growing up to the Baker, mom seen Baker 3 when it came out. She was like, what the hell? She was like, what the fuck is this? She was like, these are the people that sing you boys? Like, I'm like, yeah, she was like, well, I don't understand. She was supportive, but she was like, damn. She had questions. yeah she had plenty of questions she always asks are you doing drugs that's all she asked she would call i'm at the baker house because obviously it's friday so beagle picking me up i'm over there for the weekend he drops me back off on sunday oh she's cool but every time i'm at the house she's like me are you doing homework like you're not doing drugs or anything i'm like no she just slipped that in every time just to make sure yeah that's yeah that's all she cared about She didn't care if I ate or anything.
26:43Oh, man. She had to do her job, dude. She had to do her job. Yeah, she did her job very well. She did her job well as hell. So it was crazy, man. Her seeing a video of me getting hooked up and her seeing that. Like, I was probably one of her first videos for sure. She ain't watching no damn skateboard videos. She's tripping. Yeah, I was always a fan of just skate videos, DVDs. Even when we're doing an autograph sign at a shop, I'm looking for it. The first thing I go in, they already know what I'm looking for. The homies. They're like, oh, he's trying to find a new skate mag. And you remember they came with the DVD inside?
27:22Oh, yeah. Those are the days. Those are good days, man. And we had the Sprint Advance, so it had a DVD player. So we'll pop that in there and get hyped on the way to spots. So, man, those days was amazing. But yeah, I would put a DVD in and if it goes past a certain time, I remember I had the foundation video in. Catalyst, how you say it? Catalyst, cataclysmic, cataclysmic abyss. Yeah. Never could say that shit right. One of the amazing videos. So many great parts in that video. But I remember it was over time and he grabbed it and chunked it over the balcony. Who's this? Who's this? Flip. Okay.
28:04what i do i go down there trying to look for it obviously i know it's probably broken duh but yeah we didn't see eye to eye for a little bit yeah that was like my heart they throw my dvds off the balcony man yeah they was strict they was like oh you know it's time like i was like almost a son like yo no dvds after this stuff i'm like man what the hell what's wrong with these guys yeah bro they weren't fucking with it so that one time he threw my shit over the balcony, man. After that, I learned my lesson. I was like, yeah, all right, it's time to fucking turn these DVDs off before he took some more.
28:40Bro. That's what it was, man. Just moms calling 24-7 and no DVDs after nine. And I'm like, bro, I'm a kid. What am I supposed to watch? I'm not watching cartoons. So yeah, DVDs, skate videos all day.
28:56Davis Torgerson:Okay. Okay. So true skate rat. You love your skate videos. Yes. DVDs. I feel like there's footage of you in the van and you can see the light off of a skate video. Bro, drop top in the back. I'm always in the back because they're like, all right, let this little motherfucker go in the back. Let him do what he do. So you love your DVDs, but we also know you love boxes. And I'm a box fiend, but you might be the box king of kings. after all these years being a veteran in the skate game now. Do you still get excited when boxes pull up to the crib? Man, all the time. It's like... No hesitation, dude.
29:36Yeah, no hesitation at all. I'm like, yeah, I'm excited. I'm like, damn. But you see sneaker news, they always post, and you get to see what night SBs are coming out. Because it's not like Scoob and them sending it to us or Flynn. We don't know what's coming out. Back then, yeah, you used to. They'll tell you almost like, oh, yeah, we got these dropping. But Sneak News, I'm like, damn, this is dope. Send a screenshot for Scooby. He's like, don't trip. Hold your horses. They coming, Theo. They're like, damn. They already knew they were going to get a text from me. Scooby, no. Like, damn, Theo, you got them coming.
30:07They come out in two months. They're like, oh, yeah, Scooby's already knew I needed them. But it's like every day it's like Christmas for sure. Even when I get Baker Boards, I literally just ordered a box. Well, I ate a J-Bone. I was trying to order a box yesterday, but he was like, wait, you got a new graphic. I want to get you the new one. So I'm like, perfect.
30:27Davis Torgerson:Yeah. Some things never change. Boxes. My brother Mike Lottie on my graphics. Killing it. He is the man, dude. Shut up, Lottie. Dude, you like Santa Claus with those boxes, though. You're taking care of everyone, right? You're blessing all the homies. Yeah, it's been times I had to slow it down. Let the stash replenish a bit. Like a motherfucker, bro. They already knew what they were getting about from me. I was sending stuff to Chris Brown, some stuff to Lil Wayne, some of the homies. But always take care of the family once right away. That's what's up. Once I get my Nike Elite account, I'm hooking up the fam, making sure they good.
31:11Because a lot of them got school and shit is kicks. I don't want to be the only one. You got to keep the kids fresh, man. Yeah, man. So hooking up the fam for sure. That's a good feeling. So what was the singular most memorable box you've ever received? Just one. There's got to be one that kind of like. Oh, yeah, I do got one. This was dope. Somebody for sure looked out. What is this name? Oh, the Faturas, those friends and family ones, those pink ones. They had like a tour Chris blue one. that was like um i think the artist thingy from new york super talented um if i'm not mistaken these from new york but they had the chill blue ones everybody got those but the pink ones came home and obviously now you look and see like yeah what they were it was him for a ticket came home i had another pair somebody blessed me with two somebody went out through a scuba whoever was love you schools whoever so loved the boy came through you feel me but that was like um one of those ones and um obviously i would say if um that was just dope but um on a on a different level obviously getting that first baker box that's like it was always gonna be that still today um they literally made everything they made fucking headbands like if you like a basketball player baker headbands they should bring that back um for that back for the basketball game yeah Yeah, dude, you guys might, man.
32:39Tell the boss we need them. I didn't wear the shit, but I'll probably wear it now. But, bro, they made everything. It's nothing like that first Baker box. Just$100 a month. Mom's just very supportive. And I just bought whatever I could. Some blank decks. Sometimes I will. What boards did I ever really ride? My cousin got me to blind. I had a bunch of blind boards. And shout out to my brother, Gaden. Hidden Tiger Crouching Dragon or something like that. Clark Hasler had a part. It was like a homie video. And every time we'd go there dirty, it was like, show me a new trick you learned. I'll give you a board.
33:12And he always, that kept me going for sure. Oh, that's awesome. This is before Baker. So I give a lot to my brother Gaten because I got a new board to try to learn a new trick if that wasn't the case. That's super cool. I have a city board. Yeah, shout out my big homie, man. Love that.
33:27Davis Torgerson:Yes. You just mentioned him, but you seem to be one of the first skaters to kind of link up with Lil Wayne. How did that connection first start? And y 'all still linking and skating these days? Yeah, that's crazy. You know what? Mountain Dew signed him in, I want to say, 2010. And that's when Keelan Dad, Boo Johnson, they already been on way before I was. Carlos Auzo and a bunch of the homies, Justin Schulte. But Mountain Dew signed him. We was in Houston. No, we was in Austin for South by Southwest. And they was like, oh, we just signed Lil Wayne. He's on his way over. He's like, damn, that's hard.
34:05Y 'all signed Wayne. That's dope. What happened? They put the camera on bro right away. And he just got there. He was like, what the hell? Well, we didn't see it. Bro ended up leaving because he wanted to just vibe and chill. He wanted a camera in his face right away. So he ended up leaving. It was like, damn, we fucked up. We put the camera on him right away. And I was like, yeah, y 'all can't do that. the man want to come enjoy and meet us and chill out so ever since then i let bro grow go his whole team was like what the hell you're tripping um but bro hit me up he was like yo you dope let's lock in ever since then we've been cool so he was like fucking with me off the rip and yeah i just talked to bro like three days ago just a quick text um i'm starting to do little events i got a bunch of homies so i just booked a homie rj from la um had a bunch of homies and homegirls come out and he performed.
34:58And then now, yeah, now I got this girl I'm managing. She does music, but she up and coming. So I'm just like, fuck it. Why not do it? Go to events and be like, yo, that's my artist. And can be fucking Soulja Boy. Like, yo, that's my artist. Like, y 'all interacting and maybe they do a song together. Who knows? So, yeah, so I've just been doing that. Just first event, trying to figure out the next artist. And I did it at my homie club because he not let me pay to use it. He just want that traction. Oh, that's wicked. Yeah, man. So that's what we cooking up that outside of skating.
35:31Davis Torgerson:Making moves, man. Making moves. And what was the question? I think I got to answer the last one. What was the other one? He said, I'm just going. I'm ranting. Oh, you just answered it. How did you guys first link up? And you guys still connect and skate these days? Yep. But I haven't skated with bro in a while. I did ask him, like, have you been a skater? I was like, no, I'm just working. Bro just went back on tour. So I shout out to the homie Phil that films him. Normally he hits me when they go on skating, but Brova just locked in doing music and working on his artists. Yeah. He seems like he'd be fun to skate with if you can stay up till 5 a.m.
36:06Davis Torgerson:to start the session. Oh, you already know, bro. It's been so many times Brova hit me. He'll be like, it'll be like three in the afternoon is like skate later tonight. I'm thinking like our normal hours, like his lifestyle is different from all. so it's way different i'm like bro i'm getting sleep i'm like all right well he hit me at four or five o 'clock it's 12 coming i ain't still didn't get no text and i said i fall asleep i'm like all right cartoon or whatever i'm watching fall asleep wake up to a text i feel bad because like damn i got a message from little wayne's my dog but i fell asleep on the home and he's like 6 a.m.
36:42Meet here. Nah, gang, I'm asleep. Yeah, that makes it hard, man. I love my bro, but yeah, he'll get you with some random times. So, yeah, I'll be knocked out. Rapper hours. Yep.
36:59When leaving Philly, after a great few days, you might be headed down to Miami. And here are a few good words to help you get around. First up, Dale. It basically means, all right, let's go or come on. So if someone says, Dale, we're heading to the beach, probably means they're ready to go. Next up is Chevro. It means cool, great, or awesome. So if someone says that spot is Chevro, you know you're in for a good time. And I probably pronounced that wrong, so you may need to look that up. These words of Miami wisdom were brought to you by CHPO, the worldwide leader in sunglasses and watches. always doing it for the people and this right here is the bunt chpo brand collab so head over to chpo brand.com and get yourself a pair before they're all gone so theo we heard one time you skipped an autograph signing because the suspension in your car was off and he must have a mic had your mood fucked up yep the worst excuse ever to not go to a signing or was that a real reason man nah you know what it was a real reason but i ended up going because it was a nike i guess and i ended up going but i had like a big league continental at the time the four door and those are bad with its suspension so it's like when you turn the car off it's like it got hydraulic so the front is low and the back is up and i was like damn i was like my my move fucked up he was like all right let's go in here let's do this this autograph signing the homie's like why is their car like that it wasn't like that when you pulled up yeah i didn't want it i didn't want the homies to see me down like that my suspension was fucked up but mike was like bro we won't care about this damn suspension you got to come do what you got to do but i made it but yeah my suspension was gone so Mike got you there
39:03Davis Torgerson:yeah he got me there your story about the Bentley and the suspension and the plate for the signing and all that shit all I could hear in my head was that Dave Chappelle skit they should have never gave you money oh yeah yeah and that's very relatable to that type of situation it's like for one it's like damn yeah had a crazy car at the time yeah and that was uh the suspension ain't no good but i made it to the signing i did what i had to do i was embarrassed to turn the car off because i already knew what the hell it was gonna do turn it off i'm gonna put it's like inflate inflated uh balloon i'm gonna put a little basketball i'm gonna say bro that shit popped in my head i just you follow football at all pio not too much more basketball there's there's a star receiver in the league a young a new young guy's name is malik neighbors plays for the giants but i just saw a thing and it's like you know when people have braids and they put a little elastic at the bottom yeah yeah yeah on the edges yeah yeah he he he bought 15 000 like diamond little things to wrap the end of his braids i'm like what the fuck is that you just hope that people just be burning no it's real bro it's crazy yeah just burning money that's the real thing huh you're just like fucking let me ice out my edges like he just got his hair done he and his son i'm gonna fucking be like damn he's playing with that shit it's crazy must be nice sounds that's crazy though must be nice that don't make no sense people just ice out anything now people be icing out their car emblems could be the mercedes um somebody had an iced out it's like bro what why you could have done anything with that but yeah yeah um yo take us behind the scenes on one of the craziest birthday parties we've seen from the outside looking and we need to hear more about your birthday that had strippers and chicken wings at the crib you know what um yeah beagle was like yo we going he said we were going somewhere somewhere to uh go skate or something he said and We ended up, I'm like, all right, cool.
41:17I'm a little, well, I'm of age, but still a young 'un. And I'm like, all right, cool. Just driving. Like, damn, it's like we getting close towards my mom's house. Like, what the hell? And we ended up, it's my mom's crib. But yeah, moms had chicken wings, cooked chicken wings, all the homies in there, bigs, everybody grubbing. But yeah, they surprised me. I think they already said I was going to my mom's house, but it was for something, I think, because that's why we ended up there. And yeah, that's what it was. And all the homies already happened to be on the couch. When I walked in, it was like, surprise.
41:46I'm like, what the hell? We got strippers. Started playing with her. She put hot wax down there. I'm like, damn, that shit don't burn. It was a lot going on. Then we got the dude that comes in. He's like, got some wands. Him just saying got some wands, it just became legendary. It's a staple. It's a viral moment. I'm in there, shit. I ain't even eating no chicken. I'm in there throwing ones. She's shaking ass. It was a vibe.
42:18Davis Torgerson:Oh, in your own crib. At the mom's crib. At mom's crib. Mom's was okay with that. She set it up nice. At this point, anything was possible with these Baker guys, man. She was just like, damn, these motherfuckers are all over the place. She's seen Baker 3. They got strippers. What birthday was that? Was that 21? Yeah, that must have been like the 21st birthday. That was like when I skated to the R. Kelly song. What? The legendary song, but yeah, type shit. Yeah, Biggs put that together. That was the birthday part. That's what's up, man. Yeah, man. That was a good one. That was a good time. I remember that like yesterday.
42:59Love it. She put the hot wax. That was crazy. I'm like, damn, hot wax? Damn, man. I know that burn. That's shit. If you like shit, squeeze your finger in the door, that hurt. but hot wax like down there come on baby i don't know she used to that shit clearly because yeah that wasn't the first time yeah it wasn't the first time clearly she got that shit on repeat that's like the end of that's like the end of us doing a street part that's her ending season finale i think that was the uh end of finale it was she was like yep got some for your ass happy birthday I said damn girl
43:45I don't remember her name though but I don't need to remember but yeah that was a good time Wow Alright Theo Looking back your Transworld part absolute classic now song and skating just went together flawlessly Can you take us behind the scenes on the kick 5-0 sesh and then going back for the kick crook which ended the Chronicles part. Oh, yeah, the kick five. I knew we was working on Chronicles, and everybody kind of, Jason Hernandez was like, damn, everybody, we had like, I think like, that was the last day. Jason was like, everybody got a potential last trick, but you, Theo. And I'm like, damn, I don't like to hear that.
44:25It sucks when the pressure's on you filming the part. I'm like, damn, everybody got a potential end there except for me. I'm like, fuck, this sucks. So then now the pressure's on me. I got to get something. and I think that was like our last day I think we probably went somewhere else but it maybe was an ender ender word that I can't remember but we went down like damn this motherfucker kind of tall so you gotta like go kind of fast to be able to get on and gap out to it um everybody was chilling shout out Brock um Shane I think was on that trip if I'm not mistaken everybody I was in Chronicles somebody just grinding maybe Brock but then a shot ended up hopping in with me shout out to one of the best skateboarders in the world he just I think he just um what was he trying I think he got in the front nose or he's gonna do something like kick I think he just got in the front nose or something he was trying just fucking around you know and him it's too easy um but it was hype because I was the only one skating it really so I'm like damn a shot about to get up there with me cool um but then it ended up just being me so I'm like damn all the homies watching And I'm like, damn.
45:24And the crazy part is that was the last day and I had to take a shit. It was crazy. Dude, it's crazy how that happens. Of course it would happen. Of course. Last trick, stressed out, security comes, like y 'all can't skate. I'm like, damn, we got, this was like fucked up. Because I'm like, man, I don't want to go back to LA. Like we out here, out the country, you got spots everywhere. Like this is where you find your ender. and I'm like damn I gotta take a shit stomach bubbling I'm like I'm trying to figure it out just to be able to get on the first back 50 so got in one I don't know how many tries or how many times it took but I'm like damn stomach bubbling as I go back up there and I'm like damn looking around like shit I ain't never took no shit outside of nowhere so I'm like I'm just like suffering sweating no stores I remember I was driving to the spot there's no stores around to use the restroom anywhere I think I ended up picking a bit of the cut.
46:24I think so. And I was like, all right, Jay, we back at it. Let's get to it. Back 50-ed it. The goal was just to kick for back 50-ed it, just to get something. And then he was like, all right, well, that didn't take long. Kick for five. I was like, God damn. I don't know. He said that? Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah, it was like, well, shit, that wasn't that hard. You should try kick for back five. I'm like, oh, fuck. Like, Jay, he always going to make sure he pushes you in a good way. And it helps so much. Yeah, so Kickflip 5 and then years later, end up back at the same spot. I'm like, well, fuck. Let's try to see if I can flip nose grinding.
46:59Yeah, we're here. Bro, crazy. That's awesome.
47:02Davis Torgerson:My bad. My bad was Kickflip Nose Grinding. No, that was the same thing because the homies were there when they were Kickflip Nose Grinding. Yeah. The Nike homies was there, yeah. So, yeah. Wow. But that was the Transworld video, the Kickflip 50 and Kickflip 5, if I'm not mistaken. Kickflip Nose Grinding. All the Nike homies are shy about it. Yeah, true. But yeah, that was the mission. All the pressure was on me. that's your hubba man shit still that's your hubba to this day man when i think of that one you pop into my mind first man there's been some crazy shit that's been going down that went down i can't remember i think a shot was gonna kick for the front nose you know he could have done that and he just got it one front nose yeah that's what it was could have kicked for the front nose did easy i think descenzo might have front blunted it's been some yeah i don't know i don't know if anybody ever really like flipped in it really not too sure but it's a hefty hubba but it's good though it's like you just gotta go fast and you get right on it but yeah hammers brother hammers yeah thank you bro that was fun let's go back in time a little bit sponsor me review era for altamont was some of the most wholesome fun content on the internet yeah how fun was making those and you ever thought about bringing them back maybe with baker or nike or just you got to bring that back man that shit was too good yeah no you know shout out patrick o'dell legend yeah legend for sure my brother he'll come to the crib we just knock him out and it was just so many skate videos and it was just like damn we just all right we're just knocking them out back to back back in the back so many dope skateboarders from all over the world and people are dming like bro i can't believe you got to my um dvd my sponsor movie i'm like shit i can't believe i got two or two all these damn videos y 'all so it was dope man um so many that was so amazing that just like damn they should be sponsored like by something.
48:49Something probably was but like he was trying to get that Ultima hook up and Ultima shout out the boss Justin Regan as our team at the time and we had Sammy Baca Kenny Hoyle we had Jerry? Yeah, yep exactly, Gary Hill. We had like a great team.
49:09Davis Torgerson:No, I said Jerry but yeah, him too. Jerry Su though. Oh yeah, yep, yep Yep. So I think in that time was a good era. Great brand at the time. Like I had a little collection and everybody had a collection, which was dope. I just sucks that it went, it was good for what it was. And it went away, but I would love to bring them back at just a different time. It's not the same because people was like, yo, you should bring it back with Baker or just like, I got a clothing brand, but small, but it just, I don't see me bringing that back because that was like the golden era. that was the time people want the Ultimo was just like you just see kids wearing it everywhere it's the boss it was massive yeah his influence was insane man yeah man so bringing it back today it's like damn it ain't the same it's a different time yeah oh that's true I mean I was looking at them they have so many views too like YouTube was still newer yeah like that shit was just like hitting every time I remember watching those you sent our boy Dan Cameron a box too, man.
50:12Davis Torgerson:Shut up. He was on there. Shout out Dan, man. Shout out to homie. Everybody get a box. I was just sending fucking boxes. It was like, yeah, you think you should get a box? I'm like, yeah, fuck it. Send it. You don't think Altima went bankrupt at the time. Fuck it with me. That might have been the problem, dude. Yes. We got to shut this Sponsor Me Review shit down, dog. Patrick, stop going to Theo's house, man. I think they're actually still around though. They still have, well, it's not SoulTech no more, but they're still around. That's awesome. I heard they're still around. Yeah. With probably no team or nothing, but still making clothes probably time to time.
50:50That was a golden era company. Seriously. I missed that. That was probably one of my favorite sponsors for sure. Altimo was dope. We could do pretty much whatever we wanted. We had a lot of input and control over there, so it was dope. so we talked about it a little bit before you're obviously a big lakers fan you've got some nba friends like paul george yeah you ever try and recruit some homies to the lakers you guys are in a weird spot roster wise these days you know for i mean for the last couple years no one really knows what the roster's trying to do facts i don't either i wish i knew now they just sold for a record amount of money.
51:33You got Luka and Austin Reeves, but what's the plan there, man? I love him. That's my favorite. Yeah, Reeves is one of my favorite players. That dude can ball. That's like really why I go, of course, Luka, but Reeves is one of a kind. Shout out to the Buss family, my brother Jesse Buss over there.
51:52Davis Torgerson:Is that one of Jeannie's brothers? Yeah, one of the brothers. Oh, wow. Whose side were you on on all that drama, man? I don't know her, but I knew him. I met him in a club a while back. And we just locked in and we were going out a lot. Then bro had a kid and became family man. So I stopped seeing him as much as I did at the time. He would invite me to the Lakers suite. I'm talking about they got steak in that bitch. They got it going. I'm looking forward to going to the game because it's open bar. They're going to feed you right, man. It was dope, man. But I don't know what they're doing. I have no idea.
52:30Braun, no big Braun fan. Good pickup on some of the dudes that can ball, obviously, but it ain't put together right.
52:37Davis Torgerson:How does it make you feel seeing your boy Paul George on the fucking Celtics? Oh, it sucks. I mean, yeah, shout out PG. Yeah, I don't know. Everybody just moving all over the place. I just seen Brandon Ingram on the Clippers now. It's just like. Yeah, it's a crazy, crazy offseason. Yeah, like it's just like it's dope. We got Luka. When they were just mixing everybody around, I think we still need like, it's teams that got like three all-star players. And I feel like Reeves became one, but they're just still missing pieces. It's just not there at all. So I don't know what's going on. I don't even really care to go.
53:13I used to look forward to going to the Laker games. And I'll be in there all the time. They're like, yo, you got season tickets. I met some lady on OfferUp, and I took a gamble. either I'm going to get my tickets or I'm going to get robbed. There's been times I try to buy concert tickets on there and got played, scammed me. That happened like twice. I think it was until Kanye's show scammed me. Sound too good to be true. Got played. I'm going to end up watching the Kanye shit from my phone. I was pissed. It was like 230, 250. I'm like, bro. He was like, oh yeah, I got these. Y 'all just so eager to go.
53:54Yeah, got me. Play me. Got me for my money. But I used to be excited to go to the Laker games, but I'm still going to pop in for sure. But it's going to be a different feel without LeBron being there. And they just let pretty much the whole roster go. Like, you let some of the best players go. Like, it just doesn't make sense. And if somebody ain't going to say no name, I'm like, damn, I wish. I don't know why y 'all kept him. but and y 'all got y 'all they should have kept Jackson Hayes I tell you that okay should have kept Jackson Hayes but yeah we're gonna see it's gonna be an interesting season yeah try to make it to opening game night hopefully tickets probably gonna be crazy though probably first game right
54:35Davis Torgerson:probably gonna hide they're probably boosting the tickets too after they just spent like was it 10 billion or 12 I can't remember it's a record whatever it was ridiculous yeah But they spinning it the right way, though. Like, y 'all could have got – I don't know. A lot of players I feel like don't want to come to the Lakers or something, right? That's what people would be saying. I don't know. Yeah. Like, Giannis would have been good. I was hoping we got that. But you would have to let a lot of people go for him. Yeah. That's the only thing. Probably let four or five people go, like four stars and get a first draft pick.
55:10I truly have no idea how the salary cap works in the NBA because you got teams like how do the Sixers afford all of these guys now? They got a good squad. That's what I'm saying. LeBron took no money. Yeah, he gets like$8 million. But still, even before him, there's four All-Stars. Yep. LeBron was like, I don't care. I don't need it. But I'm going over here. You got like, damn, they got him, him, him. That's why he's number three on the list because he going to be on more teams than Shaq by the end of this shit, man. Oh, yeah, Shaq was everywhere. He was shopping. Well, Shaq was like a damn auction.
55:49$2 ,000 for this one,$100 for this one.
55:52Davis Torgerson:Back to skating for a sec here. Your Baker 4 part was one of the highlights of that whole video for me. You came through with bangers and the track matched perfectly. What was it like filming for that? And were you happy with how it turned out? Yeah, it was fun. I mean, Drew was like, everybody's damn near older now. He's like, yeah, you don't really got to, I don't need a full part. It was like, and I was working on tours that, but it was like, just give me a few clips. He got to have who he wanted to have parts pretty much, I think. And I just got what I could get. And it was just like, yo, that's perfect.
56:26That's all I need. And I enjoyed it. Everybody was hyped on the song. I thought normally I'll pick a song, but people were like, yo, that's the perfect song for it. I was like, legendary. Let's run it. So Drew knew what he was doing. He just edited it. He knows what he's doing. Great song. I like the way it turned out. Happy. Satisfied for sure.
56:44Davis Torgerson:Yeah, that might be my favorite part of yours just because I feel like you had so many parts when you were younger and then it was like a gap and then didn't know what you still had in the tank and then you hit us with that. That shit was fire, man. Appreciate it. Yeah, I'm working on some other stuff too. It's just like, yeah, I'm always out filming for sure. But yeah, we cooking for sure. We never not cooking. That's for sure. Love to hear it. Yeah, we cooking. Is it easy to hand your footy over to the boss? like he's a pretty trustworthy guy to give you 42 to edit you know he's gonna do the right thing yeah but he ever do something where you're like I kind of don't like that but you gotta trust him nah I don't got no say so that's the boss that's our boss he do what he wanna do but he knows exactly what song and what tricks go before what and that man he got it all I like everything you've done for sure Theo you're part of the switch tray gang you know I'm saying a special clique around the world you know word I ain't know that type shit one day one day I'll join man oh shit you got switch trays for sure that's such a good trick on flat to get your day started you do one good one you like damn it's gonna be a good day you already answered the question I was just gonna say oh shit yeah can you can you tell I mean you're in the gang so can you tell the people who put me in that gang.
58:11I didn't even know I was a part of that. I did. I created it. Who put me in that gang? I'm like, damn. I never knew I was a part of that shit. I love you, my brother. Thank you.
58:24Davis Torgerson:I'm like you. I watch every damn skate video. I know who's in the gang. You're in the Swiss trade gang. You know the whole thing. I already know. Who else is in the Swiss trade gang? Blake Carpenter. Shane O 'Neal. Morgan Smith. Brian Wenning. Brandon Turner, Johnny Layton you know what I'm saying? you got a host, damn P-Rod and that motherfucker too, right? who's your favorite one? favorite switch tray it's always been Paul, and that's like my favorite skateboarder, it's like since day one it's hard to go against P-Rod's one of a kind you kind of answered the question, but just tell us how switch trays make you feel and how much love you got for them we gotta get sentimental here for a minute Yeah, it's from the heart.
59:11Let me take a deep breath how I feel about Swiss trades. Charles Tane O 'Neal doing Swiss double trade down the triple set.
59:18Davis Torgerson:We didn't need that second flip, but that was the Paul for the original, but we do love Shane. Yeah. Shane was like, yeah, I got some heat for that. Shane's Swiss trade gang all day, every day. All day. Yeah, it's too easy, man. He could do just anything he want. That's light work for the kid. You said, how does it make me feel? switch trades i mean you know i almost forgot yeah it's just uh it's from the heart it's like your best friend um it's like your best friend man it's like y 'all gotta stop yeah bro it's like your best friend it's like all right man i'm about to pull up on the homie um just make sure the homie got gas though we ain't about to pop out and the homie don't got gas so you just hoping the homie got gas he got gas it's a good day is there is there another trick that makes you feel the way a switch tray does oh good backs i flip on flat that's like always for you yeah that's that's real shit man i got those some bastion shout bastion that's what makes uh one of the best backs of them that's why i started liking those but switch tray on flat you do a good one even if it didn't pop too well but just long it can't be roly-poly but But let's talk about it.
1:00:34Blake Carpenter. He needs to be talked about it. More. They need to stop slipping. Let's talk about it. Child Blake.
1:00:44Davis Torgerson:He'll throw that shit into a 5-0 on a handrail, man. Whatever you want. Yeah, Blake is crazy. One of a kind. Whatever you need. Show that. Dude, switch tray is like your best friend. that's a quote that we'll be using for years to come it's really your best friend yeah it's with you everywhere you go unless it starts switching up on you one day you're like damn the homie don't fuck with me when your trucks are a little weird or something and it starts to land primo oh yeah oh you hot just like alright it's a good day it feel good and you land primo like damn the homie don't advance to my cause no more that's how I feel when you land primo oh god It's just no good.
1:01:30We ain't fucking with that. So, dog, we hear you're quite the picky eater, but you've spent some significant time in China. Yeah. What kind of food do you be rolling around with on those trips, man? Chicken fried rice. It's crazy. That's all I would eat. And then chicken fried rice and french fries. I don't like Chinese food. But shout out to my homie Brian in China. He found out where to get off. Well, he already knew, but at the time, I don't even know if he knew I was picky, but he got burgers, whatever you want. China has that. But I remember one time was my birthday. Nike took me to Pizza Hut.
1:02:09And I'm like, man, all right, what the hell? Cool. They don't got no pepperoni. I lost it. I lost it. I was like, yeah, damn, if I was back home, I would have a good meal for my birthday. It's like, all right, yeah, it got your birthday. They were the all kind of shit. I'm like, absolutely not. It's not even a fit. Oh, but man, we got some good times in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing, all that. But yeah, love China. That's probably one of my favorite spots that I got to travel to.
1:02:38Davis Torgerson:That's so cool. Well, let's stay in China for this next question, man. We heard one time you're in China, you're rolling around the market. You're with our good friend, Johnny Tang. Oh, yeah. Love Johnny. Shouts to Johnny. He grew up here in Toronto with us. Oh, yeah. Oh, where? And you asked him, hey, do they sell hair clippers here? And Johnny said, for what? What do you mean? Do you remember your answer to that? No, I don't remember. But that's something I would ask because I think I needed, like, yeah, trim up or something. Get, like, right because it'd be hot out there. So I got to get right.
1:03:14But I ain't cut my own hair, though. That's for sure. Oh, damn. What was my answer? You remember? What did he say?
1:03:20Davis Torgerson:No, that's why I'm pissed because I know it was probably I mean, were you trying to trim down there or something? I'm like, I don't know why Johnny sent me that. It's the possibility that could have been. But I feel like it could have been like chest hair or some shit under the neck. But yeah, down here, you got to get right. You got to keep it right. No cap. No cap. But yeah, I'm sure I had a haircut. I always make sure if I'm going out of town, I'm going to get a haircut from my barber. but could have been trying to shave down there but I feel like it's the chest you gotta keep it right down there you can't be shabby we're sweating so we know you love a concert and you're a VIP type of guy but can you tell us about the time you hit a concert with your boy Uriel and the mix up was real oh yeah I mean I don't mind being a general mission only crazy if you got rolling loud those motherfuckers is crazy they were jumping they want a mosh pit yeah i'll be damn if you hit me and i'm trying to record him my phone fall on my hand or something but obviously i don't mind him being general admission but yeah the vip obviously is more laid back um but yeah yuri on my dog i talked to him today i'm like oh i'm gonna be on the bunt that's the homie's like yo bro you need to hurry up and knock this i'm like i know that's what's like yeah i know you've been busy but yeah yuri been on my ass about that um shout out yuri and i thought he's gonna pull up just to be in the background while we uh but bro be working a lot so i barely see the homie but that's like my one of my day one homies and um yeah it was dope that uh mountain dude gave me the okay back in the day um to put a homie on and i put him on mountain dude and he got to travel a little bit oh that's what's up man i made a yeah homie from the area just to be able to like see the world um that was dope that felt good yeah shout out to the homie but i love concerts but so what was the mix-up here he he told you he had vip and then you were in gen pop yeah so there we go my brother got it that's exactly what it was oh no i was trying to like i end up having four so i don't know the seating at the stadium so i was like damn these look on online it looks like these are closer than ones we had no we gave them the close ones they're in the front they're like oh we got the best seats think y 'all my damn those are supposed to be hard fuck that i was so hot i ain't gonna say like yo no i was pissed they up in the front they get and i'm they looking at my i'm looking at this i'm like damn our shit is all in the back i was mad that's exactly what it was they like they were in the front we in the back that would piss me off so much that's exactly you'd have to ask them to swap bro a halfway swap halftime or something something because it was like bro our shit was blurry.
1:06:10It was so blurry compared to this. Yeah, I was hot. Yours had, what should we do? I'm like, bro, we blew it. We gotta ride this shit out. We gotta head home. There's no choice. Yeah, man, that's exactly what happened. Yep, we blew it. I gave the wrong tickets away. Fuck.
1:06:26Davis Torgerson:Hey, blessing the people. Yeah, we blessed them for sure. We blessed them, all right. Yeah, we heard you had a funny encounter with the Ying Yang twins, man. What's the story there i don't know them but i remember if i'm not mistaken mound do fuck yeah damn see these are so old and good but i do remember but i remember i think mound do booked them or something and then they gave him 10k and then they were trying to call back they went out to the strip club and then they want to perform again it's like yo y 'all blew y 'all money that already and y 'all want to perform the next day. No. You all would just see y 'all.
1:07:07Yeah, it was still like that. They wanted to get booked again. It's like, bro, y 'all spent 10K at the strip club, and y 'all want to perform again? Absolutely no. Yeah, that's genius. Yeah, they crazy. They was like, yeah, let's blow it, and we'll see if we get it back. Should at least save five of that shit.
1:07:25Davis Torgerson:Bro, I never understand that. Like, this is, like, strip club culture makes no sense to me. Unless you're like, have so much money that it doesn't matter. I used to be a fan of that. If you need that 10K, what the hell are you spending 10K to pop a couple boners for, man? You ain't going home with no girl. It's like, oh, you look so good. It's crazy because my early Baker days as a young 'un, I mean, I was getting paid$500 a month from Baker. Yeah. And when I was living in Inglewood, the strip club was like three blocks away. My mom would always, well, my sister would always text me, like, you ain't at the strip club, right?
1:08:02I'm like, nah. I get my Baker check, whole 500 gone. What? Yeah, I was in there throwing money. Whole Baker check, whole 500 gone. Why? I used to love strip clubs, but I don't like them. I could care less. Okay. Thank God. My Baker check used to go to strippers, unfortunately. Sorry, Drew.
1:08:26Drew, I think, is awesome at this time. Yeah, you can laugh at it now. You can laugh at it now. Yeah. You got to have a Terry Kennedy story for us back in the day, man. When TK was at his prime, you know, full celebrity status. He got the crew full zip up hoodie. Like, give us a TK story.
1:08:49Davis Torgerson:Oh, my. Yo, maybe you can answer this. I've been trying to figure this out for years. I'm offered money to people. I'm like, yo, 20 bucks if you could tell me what he said right now. Do you know what Terry Kennedy said after the cab? No. I don't know. Do you remember that? I kind of know what you was about to ask, but yeah, because a lot of people still not today, but at the time, it's like, damn, I wonder what he said. He said it so fast, I do not know. Who knows? house order right now yeah nobody ain't gonna know what the hell he was just so hyped we don't know what the hell Terry said at that time yeah I don't know yeah he said it so damn fast to be able to keep up with that yeah I don't know the answer nope yep absolutely not because people always ask me that I'm like fuck I don't know I'm the last kid I don't know alright Theo we know you're a sneaker head if the CEO of Payless called you today offering a big old contract.
1:09:55Davis Torgerson:How big? Let's go with 500k a year. Damn. That's pretty nice. What are you saying to the Payless CEO? Shit. Can't do it. Can't do it, gang. I appreciate the offer. It's amazing for sure. A good life changing. But yeah, it's just not everything about the money. It's just like, damn, I just like what I like. I want to be able to look down like, damn, I'm skating. That would change your whole aura, man. Yeah, everything would change. Money couldn't save you from that. No, fans, nothing. They'll be like, bro, you did it for the money. It would just be a whole different deal. It's just like, nah. I, on the other hand, would say yes.
1:10:42You would have took that motherfucking bought a couple houses. I'm gone, dude. I just take the one year, bro, And then I'm like, all right. That's it. Maybe. Seriously. Yep. I don't blame you. I mean, back in the day, yeah, I probably would have took it. But at this time, like 500K, nah. I'd rather stay where I'm at. Stay true to who you are, man. Facts. Yeah. Always. Always. On home. Money can't change it. Theo, besides coming to the Bunt Jam next year, what's next for Theotis Beasley? The homie out of studio. So what people seem like I know a few artists. So this girl, child Morgan Monroe, me and my homie managing her because he got a studio.
1:11:25So we're going to put in the studio this Friday. So working with her and having her perform at my first event was dope. We just got to get her together. She got to work on that stage preference and get the crowd interact. She got to move around. But yes, doing that. Yeah. And Tom, so bringing some more people home and helping manage them. Obviously skateboarders, number one, filming. be out this week with Beagle and probably Antoine. But we got a podcast there, so trying to get into podcasts. What else? Get the clothing brand going because it costs a lot of money to just keep making stuff, obviously.
1:12:01Let's hear about the clothing brand a little bit. What's the name, man? It's called Grown and Gifted. Okay. Yeah, so we made a few things but wasn't consistent with it. Uriel did the whole infrastructure up late night, early mornings, talking to people in China doing the tech packs and all that. So I got to learn a lot from him because we both skate, obviously. And he was just like, yo, we could do this on our own. I was like, bro, no, we can't. It doesn't work that way. He was like, you know, a bunch of people that doesn't work that way. Unfortunately, no. So my boys at the Mag Park, they got a store and they got a whole infrastructure where they want to help me put in a store.
1:12:41And this guy, Goyk, we're making three jerseys right now, and they helping me with that. So, yeah, we're cooking up that. And what else we got? And then we're going to start doing this event and charging at the door, get a few people on the guest list. Shout out to my brother, Kevin White. He was supposed to pull up. We love K-White. Y 'all like Dan, what the fuck is it? And Drew was like, you should do this. And I'm like, all right, run it. The boss want me to do something a little different. And they know what the hell I'm talking about, but then nobody's seen it. I thought he nailed it, dude. That sounded fresh, bro.
1:15:40Davis Torgerson:Cataclysmic Cataclysmic It was always the first word I can never say that shit But one of the most He used to call it Mosaic Oh no But I can see why though It makes sense Because that's what I could have said But I've been around some OGs I heard them said a couple times So I ain't going to slip up. All the people that got Nolly and Raheel, Brian Herman. Got the best. You never asked him for a trick tip over the years? No, when I see him, I'm going to ask him because I need to learn that. You never asked him all these years? That's crazy, man. I need to ask him how to do it. He's literally got the best one in history. Yep, facts. I've never asked him, but I will do that. It's only right. I need to learn that for sure. It's only a to-do list. I never know.

Yep. Riding away and then slipped out. Piss. But then it's like hard to run an ad and then you didn't land it, but nobody knows, but they're waiting to see the footage though.
1:20:40Davis Torgerson:Damn, yeah. I feel like I would have remembered that. I must have missed that. That was when I almost slid by that people won't remember, but yeah. 100 % transparency today with Fifi this rapid fires y 'all got some good questions I knew this that's the only thing I was worried about we gon' get there I know we just warming up fuck what's the biggest bunt you've ever witnessed oh you know it's the Maricosta 10th there the homie was talking about he gon' hard flip it but he just started getting his kickflips down and he was like all right we got but he got him down but it's just like bro you not about the hard flip to 10 and we know that we got the film so i'm just waiting on the side like yeah waiting for the hard flip wait wait we need a name yo who's the homie fuck it's uh what's my boy that used to skate back in the day he uh fuck it's been so long but um fuck yeah he was just getting really good but quit skating um damn i want to say his name brian but i could be wrong but it's almost irrelevant but yeah i want to say his name brian he just he just stopped skating before he's just been real good it's nollie hill nose and ledges but yeah i don't know i don't know if that's usable if that's accurate because yeah that was actually pointless i don't remember the homie name that's why i was like i don't really have but i do remember the home and claim the hard flick.
1:22:10The miracle of the 10. You got to keep that. Yeah. Okay. John Doe. I don't remember his name. John Doe.
1:22:20Davis Torgerson:I see you're already maneuvering out of these hard questions. Yeah, you're good at this shit, dude. You're going to make some shit about some non-existent person, dude. Yeah, I love to keep praying for that, but I can't remember his real name. But yeah, he did. He did what he does. He was capping on the hard flick, so. It's like you're talking to the cops, bro. Yeah, pretty much. We got the film right here. He drove down. It's like, damn, I feel bad for the homie. All right, well, it's a hard flip. He ollie'd it. And he went to throw out a hard flip and nowhere close. It's like, bro, let's leave.
1:22:53He's like, all right, right here, bro. We know this ain't going down. But all right. Thanks, baby. Fuck it.
1:22:59Davis Torgerson:All right. What's the last new trick you learned? Last new trick I learned. I want to say half-cap flip nose going revert. Holy shit Doing those a bunch I don't think I learned a new trick since that one Like the alley-oop way? No, just like regular half-cat flip Like if you're going to do half-cat flip Nose gun, back-manated Some bastion shit too Some celibonzy PJ lab type of shit PJ all that type shit Dream job after skateboarding Shit, obviously starting a company And bringing on the new kids And just guiding them throughout their career for sure just kind of like how Tony Hawk did for Drew and Drew did for us but yeah definitely guide the homies and helping lick over contracts and stuff like that just starting a company and just helping a new youth telling them what to do and what not to do so that it takes off for them.
1:23:55Davis Torgerson:Don't drop your whole check at the strip club. Yeah my whole Baker check whole 500 was gone I lived for free I was a kid at my mom's spot. Well, that was at my sister's spot because mom's moved to Alabama. And in order for me, when I first got hooked up with Baker, my sister was like, well, you got to finish high school in order if you want to stay in LA. I'm like, damn, I hate going to school, but they're just more just waking up early. Yeah. If I moved to Alabama, this shit would have never took off. So yeah, thanks. Shout out to my big sis. Hell yeah. Yeah, man. Got to finish high school she said if i didn't finish high school she was gonna tell drew that uh yeah baker's done so i have no choice but to finish yeah hey shouts big sis yep it's this man all right favorite local brand pleasures it's a clothing brand is that the strip club no bro the only time i'm going to the strip club like you're trying to give me trouble no well i can't get in trouble but The only time I like going to a strip club is like, I don't like going, but if I'm out of town, I'm down.
1:25:03Because it's like, I don't know nobody there, but in LA, I'm not going to a strip club. The homeless out here, we went. He blew like, the table was like$2 ,000. The next day, he blew like$4 ,000. Well, the day after that, he just, yeah, he's like, yeah, let's go back. I'm like, well, fuck. For what? I ain't spending nothing. Yeah, for what? So he's just throwing money. It's just like, I don't, as you get older, I don't get it. But it's fun, though, seeing some nice, beautiful ladies. But nah, can't do it. No, thank you. Favorite local skater? My boy, Uriel, for sure. That's what's up. Always my boy, Uriel, for sure.
1:25:40Yeah, most definitely.
1:25:41Davis Torgerson:Yeah, yeah. What's the one sponsor you regret riding for? My brother going to kill me, but he's told to come and shout my brother, Sean Neff. But the Neff emoji is like, with the little tongue on the side. But, no, we had a good team, Tony Tave and Nick Rolino. We had a good squad, but yeah, Neff. Yeah, people was like, you had great sponsors. Why did you do that to yourself? I'm like, wow. Send me to jail. Were you getting a check at least? Yeah, it was a check. It was a cool little check for sure. Okay. The emojis suck. Huh? No, just the emoji. At first they had a bunch of the emoji stickers, but I was like, bro, there's no way I'm putting it on my board.
1:26:30They had the ones that said that, and we're good to go. Favorite, what was that? Favorite teammate ever. Oh, P-Rock. For sure. We got, that's my dog.
1:26:42Davis Torgerson:Worst teammate ever.
1:26:47Now these are getting spicy, but if I had to say Beagle. I love Beagle's I remember we was on a Baker trip and half in the room with him like he snores so loud like it's like a tornado there's no way you go to bed you might as well go by your own room they put it on the Baker car you might as well be like damn Drew did that it's like now I'm going to get my own room because Beagle you got to have some fucking headphones or some noise cancellation or some shit but Beagle snore loud yeah there's no way I can room with Beagle I love my brother though
1:27:28Davis Torgerson:but we are not rooming yeah shout out Beagle we're not rooming I had that years ago there's no way there's no way you couldn't even pay me to room with Beagle gang you gotta go skate the next day you're not getting no clips I guarantee you you're gonna get no clips you're gonna feel like you hung over you know fuck that Oh, shit. Worst company? Termite.
1:27:56Bro. Yeah. Oh, shit. Termite. All right. Worst trend? Everybody with the high waters. It's like, come on, just put the leg. Come on, let's not do that. With the high waters. Oh.
1:28:22Davis Torgerson:can't do it might get a little spicy right here at the end worst style I knew this one was coming I was like this is the only one I was worried about fuck it Nate Sherwood oh I gotta go back and watch some Nate dude was he that bad for real is that a real question we gotta answer some questions y 'all got some crazy questions god damn it alright Theotis last but not least man who's the last person you want on the sesh damn this is fucked up some fucked up questions damn back in the day Dustin he probably gonna be drunk I don't know I love you Dustin is he crazy or what yeah but no yeah i mean when he when he drinks for sure like uh he gonna preach to you for sure you're like damn i'm trying to get this trick shout double d man that's my brother what do you what do you mean preach to you while you're trying to get a clip and what's he saying right he just yeah you're trying to get a clip but you're just like all right trying to tell you how to do it it's like oh man let me just do what i gotta do double d man double d man i miss the oldest man i thought you were gonna have more trouble with that but you handled that easily man yeah but i tried man that that dude cool calm and collected man those questions didn't phase you no they didn't some was like yeah i mean those last two phased me though except the shit you made up about some guy named brian oh yeah the homie yeah he just was a fabricated story bro yeah bro just learned kick from something you think you can hard for it.
1:30:10We ain't even see one of them flat.
1:30:12Davis Torgerson:Okay. Yeah, we could just keep the made-up story about Brian. I love that. I believe that story. That was funny. Theotis, man, you just handled everything. Man, I love y 'all, bros. This was a good one. For sure. Yeah, dude, we really appreciate you, man. Thanks for making this happen. Long overdue. I swear we've been texting about this since 2020. Man, for so fucking long. And it's like I'm so I got worse than texting, but I'm always on my phone. People are like, oh, you didn't hit back. And a lot of times, I need a new phone. a lot of messages don't come through my phone is fried I'm eligible for upgrade I just gotta go like we were talking when we were wasted on FaceTime you weren't we were your bun family now now you can get a clip in the next video you gotta come to the bun jam all that shit I love what y 'all doing y 'all are killing it congrats to everything y 'all doing y 'all got it going that's all I want to say my brothers y 'all are killing it Appreciate that, man.

1:31:22Davis Torgerson:Tim. Yep, Tim. Man, RIP. I've heard of Mickey. Yeah, crazy news today, man. Yeah, bro. So sad, man. Love Big Bro. And rest in peace, James Hardy. Oh, yes. He was the one who originally put the idea out there for a board. Wow. Damn, love Hardy. He was always coming under my post. That was sick, man. And that's one of the best skateboarders in the world. And an even better human, dude. Hell of a dude. For sure. Yep. Life is fragile, buddy. But let's keep going. Let's get this paper and let's stay out the way. Yes, sir.
1:31:58All right. Welcome back to Random Skater of the Week, the fastest growing segment on YouTube, hosted by our good friend Davis Torgerson and brought to you by Mob Grip, the number one choice of professional skateboarders worldwide. And the reason is simple. It's the grippiest. It's been a long, long time since we had this man inside studio. We Kevin Lowry in the building. What's good, man? How much just got off work?
1:32:27Davis Torgerson:We got a little smile out of him. The king for all your resting bitch face. My boy, Kev. I'm in the top two, but Kev's the king, man. But he's nicer than his mean face, like you think. Stone cold. I don't mean to, just how I look.
1:32:46Well, Kev, you ready for this? I'm ready.
1:32:48Davis Torgerson:What would you rate yourself on the skate nerd scale? Probably seven out of ten. All right. Coming in strong. Generous. Yeah, coming in strong. What would you guys? I'm like a three and a half I mean I was offended when Davis called me a seven So I would say like Seven and a half Eight on a good day when I'm not fried How are you today? Which is every day I'm seven and a half right now How were you at Tyler's wedding? How was I? Negative Mitch was like A hundred on 100 i can't believe you watched all that dead sober kev that's just is it more entertaining or or are you just like get me the fuck out of here i just have a lot of dirt on all you guys yeah yeah real shit so if you can if you can figure out how to get hammered without doing anything ridiculous then he'll be bored yes yeah there's no boredom that that's not possible yeah keith Henry on the mic had me cracking up the next day when I rewatched it.
1:34:00Davis Torgerson:I'm like, what the fuck was going on? E.T. was sagging. That was the best. E.T. got pants. Oh, yeah. Oh, shit. Pants at a wedding? Wow. Yeah. He was asking for it. Pants at his knees. Yeah. That was kind of awkward after. Full reveal. Everyone was just kind of silent for like two minutes. And it was like three in the afternoon. It was just like. Well, that went crazy. I got suspended from school as a kid for pantsing a kid. Full reveal, like his underwear went down at the wedding. Oh, at the wedding, the full reveal happened? Jesus, dude. You might want to leave this part out. This is the best part, dude.
1:34:46Davis Torgerson:This wasted ass dude. Someone you didn't know did the pantsing? Yeah. Can we beep the names, but we can leave the story in? Because that's hilarious. he didn't air the whole thing i don't care he doesn't care it didn't happen to him i was standing right beside him i didn't realize he was pantsed because i was standing right beside him and then everyone was like what the i was like oh shit oh shit that's awesome the full pants now there's a technique to grab the seams where you don't go full reveal on a pants no the dude who did it was like could barely stand up, just puking and shit before the ceremony.
1:35:30Davis Torgerson:He forgot the technique.
1:35:35Davis Torgerson:Do you guys want to play random skater? More wedding stories, dude. I think there's no other way to get into it besides the previous teammates of this random... Wait, clarify. Kev, you know the rules, yeah? Yeah, let's go over them. again yeah let's go over them again basically just gonna be listing off clues to one random skater i got a bunch you three get three guesses to try to guess the random skater you can blurt them out at any time you can ask questions that's it and is it board brands and shoe brands clothing so he's he's aware the previous the previous teammates of this random skater are both board and shoe brands, and it includes Josh Kalis, Anthony Papalardo, and Jeremy Rogers.
1:36:30Wow.
1:36:31Davis Torgerson:Sorry, this is so off topic, but in the spirit of last week's episode, I was going to say it. Jeremy Rogers. No, Kev, right before we started, Davis out of nowhere is like, yo, JT, you actually owe me 50 bucks. And then we were all laughing. And in my head, I'm like, damn, I hope I don't owe anyone money, which reminded me right now. Kev, please, after this, text me how much I owe you for the hotel room because I completely forgot. You know, this this this episode, these things that we do, it's not it's not for fun and games. It's it's a therapy. It's settling the score. we gotta make sure that we you know are guilt free going forward in life so our debts are cleared there's nothing worse charging interest oh hell no it's been like four days make them pay in USD or something I'm a businessman sorry teammates one more time the previous teammates are Josh Kalis, Anthony Pappalardo and Jeremy Rogers.
1:37:41Davis Torgerson:Epic. This skater has had a crooked guess board, but it was a Zipsinger.
1:37:55Davis Torgerson:You know, we've done probably at this point like 40 skaters that have had a crooked guess board. I haven't found one that had a Zipsinger for theirs. That was kind of cool. an early sponsor for this skater was naked skateboards shit
1:38:24Davis Torgerson:and
1:38:28Davis Torgerson:this skater had an ad with the text on the ad that went a boy, a toy, playing silly games.
1:38:46Davis Torgerson:How are the wheels doing right now? You're stuck. I got nothing. Okay. We'll keep it going. This skater had a part in the Thrasher video titled Sponsor Me. What the fuck? I never even heard of that. I feel like sometimes you just make this shit up. That doesn't even exist. When was that? What was the year on that? I don't know the year on that. I would guess... Well, fuck, I don't want to botch it. It's probably like... 92? 95 or something. 94, 95. Holy fuck, dude. Skaters again? Teammates again? Kalis, Popolardo, Jeremy Rogers. Sorry, Jay Casanova. I smell like it. Yeah.
1:39:47Davis Torgerson:This skater had an opener in 411 issue 3. What the fuck, man? Yeah. I mean, you're all the same age. It's the same playing field. Good luck.
1:40:07Davis Torgerson:Also, to make it even worse, this skater was on the cover of the very first issue of Slap.
1:40:18Davis Torgerson:Damn you. Damn you, Davis.
1:40:27Davis Torgerson:this skater skated to both De La Soul and Gangstar. It's Mike Carroll.
1:40:40Davis Torgerson:This guy's a music buff. It is Mike Carroll. Holy shit, we won. Get out of here, bro. We won. Damn, that was good. I was thinking Danny Way. That was impressive, dude. Damn. Carroll. Okay, so. What am I? 9 out of 10? 8 out of 10? I'll give you this one. I'd give you a 9. I'd give that a 9. I mean, which one? De La Soul or Gangstar? Or just both? It was slap, but I was waiting. It was slap. I knew it was slap. The next clue was this skater had a pro shoot called the Cosmo. Were they all on DC together? No. No. Girl, chocolate, DC I mean, Carol didn't skate for chocolate Did you have the Cosmos?
1:41:32Davis Torgerson:Yeah, black with the green sole It wasn't green, but it was on the tip You know how they had the Howards with the white suede and the blue? It was kind of like translucent Howard ones Yeah, this guy's definitely a nine Kalis was DC Popolaro was Lakai Jeremy was girl Nice sorry guys very impressive came through and cooked you can't be mad not when that was pure knowledge i can't keep going on the right the right person won so the next one was the cosmo kev fucking had the shoe so end game there again has shared a part with another pro skater two times brick yeah okay um the the design inspired footwear brand of roan reinterpreted and re-released the skater's old pro shoe from the 90s and then the next clue after that was the skater had a pro shoe for vans which i feel like is almost forgotten that carol had a vans pro shoe damn they make it right now is it though like low safe one or whatever yeah safe low kev how old were you when you started skating i don't know like seven or eight but i kind of stopped a little bit unfair advantage man yeah the safe low that's really sick backside lip slid the gold rail in dc i know you got it like that well yeah don't don't have me back constantly underestimating my dog man don't don't play games i mean dude don't underestimate the guy who saved you from a wedding yeah pay him his money i'm not i'm not that's my man that was all the clues that was it well i mean you got it oh no i have okay let's hear some more i want to know when i would have got it maybe backlit gold rail in dc i feel like i could picture that photo I don't know what the photo was in Character in EA Skate Had a Transworld part Looking back in hindsight You're like oh Modus Yeah obviously Appeared in the movie Jackass Forever But him and a bunch of skaters were in the intro Had a guest trick in Jerron Wilson's Skatemore part Which I still think Can be kind of vague because when you say that Without knowing the skater you're like oh fuck who was in Jerron's part what was the trick i watched that part like can't remember off the top of my head right now i did half of half of these clues were from like three months ago uh backside 50 50 up a rail oh that would have helped yeah yeah but bobby coolio did that too around the same time oh look at this fucking nerd don't flex dude get the fuck out of here bro Bobby Pulley on?
1:44:23Holy shit. On a similar time frame. The Zip Zinger, dude. I should have known it off the Zip Zinger.
1:44:28Davis Torgerson:Was it as a joke the same way that Carol's was? No. It was for real. Whenever we do the winner's bracket, Kevin is in the all-timers winner's bracket. Yeah, I think so. Kev versus Ted. Tell me if you remember what part this is from. The next clue was going to be, this skater did a line that went, ollie 360 shove it 360 flip front side flip switch 180 back side flip okay fully flared down the road right through the street yeah that's why that clue was at the end but i thought that was like that is kind of a memorable line aside from his modus line the opening line but yeah i mean there's there's a few more but i've never even heard of naked skateboards or this i don't even So if it was called naked skateboards, it was naked boards.
1:45:19Davis Torgerson:Upon research, it was like blank boards, essentially, from hella long ago. Saifa, tell me something about naked skateboards and naked boards. I mean, if the ads were like hubba. What? All right. All right, well. Take his mic away, man. Yeah, I'm done. Kev crushed you. Kev, thank you, man. Sorry, guys. Hey, our pleasure. Thanks, Kev. Text me that number right now. I will. I will. You've got mail. Welcome back to the post office. Absolutely packed inbox as usual. Thank you to everyone writing in. Lots of bunt video emails to get through. So let's get this thing popping. Ghost who we got up first.
1:46:07Davis Torgerson:First up, we've got an email from Frank Castillo. bunt jam review fellas what a two-day event it had everything vibes hoops beers shenanigans i got to have a conversation with fucking carlos ribero and fucking rick howard uh carlos doesn't swear so maybe just carlos ribero for someone that has been skating since middle school i'm 41 i was the dude in the blue 76ers shirt during the three-on-three that shit made my year funniest moments that stick out were safe giving carlos shit for not dipping his switchback smith and donald i think he probably means donovan and gary giving safe shit for being hammered uh fucking alex midler skated his ass off from warm-ups till the very end and battling that backside nose blunt which was insane can't wait to come back out next year to toronto the city was amazing next time i'm gonna pull up with the crew from south jersey i'm originally from penn sauken right next to philly probably said that wrong sorry and texas i appreciate that event boys nothing but love from san antonio go fucking birds hell yeah i'm from south jersey and texas that's a that's a dope combo right there that is fucking crazy.
1:47:33Davis Torgerson:Dude, thank you. Thanks for the review. Hell yeah. Epic moments, man. Seeing Rick Howard was one of my favorite moments too. Never met him before. Pulled up. Balled out. Wish we got to see a little bit more of him on the court, but that was awesome. There wasn't actually a question in there, but nice bunch and review. Appreciate you and appreciate you traveling up from uh san antonio that's fucking legendary thank you frank all right next up we've got a voice note from ted newton before he says okay boys i appreciate this is longer than the 90 seconds on the website but i recorded it on my phone and it would have clipped off the end it's like only 10 seconds longer and i didn't want to re-record a shorter version because i said nice things at the end um the limit's actually 60 seconds so this guy's total is 103 seconds you got time for this shit safer holy shit better be really nice is all i gotta say yeah or else it's getting deleted let's take a listen yo safer and donno i just finished watching the bum video and i absolutely loved it i can't believe i think when i started listening to podcasts about five years ago you were talking about releasing it at the end of the year or it was coming soon and then you know here we are and I think all the pressure and like the pushing back the deadline it's finally come to fruition it's absolutely brilliant I loved the James Hardy tribute at the beginning that was really touching the music banged with Safest Getting to Gigs and then going straight into a Joni Mitchell song Dono's kits were really good I think the best kits in the video for sure and then the uk section with kran and dom they're two of my favorite skaters and uh shout out skateboard cafe and yeah don uh say if you always call it skateboard calf and you speak french i thought you'd know how to pronounce cafe so next time you're giving donno shit for mispronouncing something um remember that now but anyway moving on uh who was your favorite clip featured in the video uh of all the random kind of old guests or like friends what one meant the most to you or what one did you appreciate the most and then if you could have gotten a clip from anyone who you didn't manage to get one from who would that have been but yeah you guys should do like a director's commentary on youtube because i know you did some like skateboard reviews before or skateboard video reviews um like to give some more context i know there's a lot of like random heads from the bunt universe and like you know a lot of trips you guys went on to get clips like what were the biggest battles how old were some of the clips you all that kind of thing.
1:50:13Davis Torgerson:It'll be great to find out. But yeah, amazing job. And congratulations on the bun jam. It all looked amazing. So killing it in Studio E these days. Keep it going. Damn. Ted Newton can have 103 seconds whenever he wants. We're good with that. Yeah, because you said Donald's kits are nice. He's going to allow it. Oh, bro, I was going to say. Everyone else gets nice skating comments. and he's me. It's nice dressing. I'll take it though. I'll take it. But director's cut is a good idea. We should do some sort of commentary. We could even just go live and watch the video and explain it live and then that can just live online forever.
1:50:57You should do it with Jay
1:50:59Davis Torgerson:in the off season. No, damn. That was so long that I'm forgetting what the question was. The question was favorite clip that someone sent in or favorite clip for whatever reason and then is there a guest we didn't get a clip from that you wanted yes um favorite clip i mean this i could answer a different clip probably every day of the week but off the top right now i would say cairo foster's clips were super special and there was a big difference between a month before the premiere and two weeks to a week before the premiere because we were so desperate for clips and then it was like a flood of clips came in and then we had to start cutting stuff but cairo the second i hit him up he was so juiced and he was like honored that we asked him and we're like bro we're honored that you're down like you know it's yeah you got it backwards man like we have loved your skating since we were kids so and to see him still fucking hitting handrails and shit like not only did he send some clips he sent some bangers so i'll say cairo yeah um my favorite clips or clip shit man i'll just say like the whole real team their little section at the end of the montage is incredible tim fulton davis just everyone all the good homies coming together uh really good to have all those guys in the video and then uh one more story ronnie kesner went fucking sicko mode man that guy just dropped 27 minutes or something of raw footage on youtube he's an absolute machine and uh just gave us absolute gold you know so shout out ronnie thank you for that for sure i think the sick thing about the real section was that uh like a lot of a lot there was like a session where i think tim davis um ernie jack no jack and who else uh fucking i'm blanking but it was like a lot of og real guys like closer to our age and um they went out specifically to film for the video like what and i'm not like saying like one clip's more important than the other but like some people sent clips that they already had yeah and some people went and actually filmed for the video which is like always tripped me out that like you know like carlos and these guys would come on the trip and film specifically for our video but it was really cool that we weren't even there and like they went on like a video filming trip or a filming sesh and like davis got his trick in the maybe like two weeks or something before yeah the premiere and stuff like that dude and the buzzer beater current clip oh yeah Yeah, that was from the vault, though.
1:53:59Davis Torgerson:Ryan blessed us. But yeah, Ditto. And yeah, Ronnie fucking even sent a few more, but we're fucking running out of space within that song. But thank you to everyone who sends shit. And then someone we didn't get a clip from real quick. Just a couple off the top. Ellington, Blake Carpenter. Oh, man. There's too many. There's too many. Austin Gillette. There's a lot of people, Elijah Burrell, a lot of people. But I feel like now that there's a video out and they've seen a video, I feel like the next time we make a video, people will be – it won't be like, oh, I could be sending this to some shit video.
1:54:38Davis Torgerson:Next time it'll be even easier, I would imagine, to make the montages. Yeah, I think so. I'd say the whole Violet squad. Kate or Chris and Mike. What the fuck, Violet? Dude, I tried for weeks with those guys. They keep that shit under locking. fucking Strobic don't give that shit up man but it's what it is like you said hopefully next time next time for sure okay thank you Ted that was very lovely keep it to 60 or less next time but you know all good alright next up we got an email from damn how the hell Patrick K I guess that's how you say it a little different than I've ever seen it that why threw you off eh just call him pat all right what's up bunt just watched the bunt video today and it succeeded all expectations huge congrats my question for you guys is what are the tricks that got away also where's the switch trace afa james hardy forever you got one yeah there's i mean i had a couple i did like a lot of my filming for this video happened this uh this summer um maybe back 180 nose grind in detroit on the same outledge that our friend trent did fakie cab front nose fakie that one got away wish i got that one and then uh backside flip the barrier that uh dom nollie backheeled i think i tried that for three hours uh this is a fucking laundry list of them man rained out that day i wasn't gonna get it anyways though i'm done man um i have a i have a one that got away that was like i originally wasn't even filming it for this video that's how long ago it was and we've been filming for this video for 38 years uh there's a there's a six or seven stair rail in vancouver It's kind of a famous spot that like you land in like a very narrow corridor.
1:56:46Davis Torgerson:Canadians will know this one. Trying to think. Ian Twa backside flip. It's green. Think TJ. What did TJ do? TJ did maybe burial heel or hard flip or what the fuck. Maybe the most famous trick of this spot, Mike McDermott did pop shove from like an above angle over the rail. And you land through these two walls that are like closing in on you. I don't know why the fuck is that thing built like that? It makes no sense. But anyways, I can't remember what year, but let's just say 15 years ago. I had a photo run of a switch pop shove over it. And I landed on it and my board exploded. I should have landed it that try.
1:57:29Davis Torgerson:Everything felt right. And my board just blew up. And then I went back, I don't know, five years ago. Did it and rode into the dirt. you ride over a little planter my wheel got caught in the mud i flew off but like i 100 oh it drove me crazy and then my legs turned to jello couldn't get it that day went back again so anyway it's been like a 15 year battle with this fucking trick last time i lost my mind it's too scary and uh that's definitely the one that got away you had a switch trade getaway photo fucking i hate unlanded photos but i promised myself i'll never go back because it's a mental fucking battle over there.
1:58:11Davis Torgerson:Yeah. Fuck that switch trade. The one that got away is definitely that switch job. Alright, next up we have an email from Saifa Benson. It says Saifa looking so fresh and so clean in the bunt video with the fits and style he should start a janitorial company. Yo, Philip Richter. Richter. Richter. Richter yeah my bad appreciate you man
1:58:45Davis Torgerson:I thought this was a diss the first time I read that I didn't even know what was going on appreciate you brother the janitor thing I like skim read it I'm like what's this guy calling me a janitor but I get it now and I appreciate you it's nice you wrote that about yourself yeah you wish day. All right. Next up, we got an email from JG. What up, fellas? Long time. First time. Congrats on the video release. Y 'all killed it. I'll keep sweet. If there were to be another Bunk video, what would your thoughts be on a friend section for your listeners? Because I rip and you'd probably send a clip to close out the next video.
1:59:30Davis Torgerson:Next question. fuck marry kill band of brothers breaking bad game of thrones
1:59:39Davis Torgerson:well let's do that because part your first question i hate to say it we are for the people but there will be no listener montage it's way too hard to coordinate yeah that would be absolutely insane um never watched band of brothers so i'll kill that i'll fuck game of thrones and marry breaking bad oh hell not man it's my shit dude kill band of brothers actually damn yeah i gotta kill it i don't like breaking bad man it's got some amazing moments some of the best tensest scenes in television history and i just saw i think it was top the number one show on some dude it's incredible what's i mean it's dark have you watched it again watch it again it's watching it the first time it was incredible but I rewatched it and it was so painful like just Walter White's decision making man it's just everything could be avoided my guy Hank getting capped yo Hank's crazy ass dude he's the best one of the great characters in television drama history but even though I hated the end of Game of Thrones man that's I gotta marry Game of Thrones for days I can rewatch that any day of the week All right.
2:00:56Next up, we've got an email from John Metz. Hey, fellas, can't believe today is the day for the release of the bunt video. After work, I'm going home to watch it on the big screen. Congratulations. I've been listening to y 'all for almost a decade. You guys seem almost like great friends I've known forever. My best memories are riding across all of Vietnam on a motorcycle for a month years ago and re-listening to all my favorite episodes. You guys have always been there for me and the people respect quick question if you could premiere the video at any professional sports stadium which one would you pick also what artist or band would you have perform at the venue as an opener to the video debut mad love from your friends down south john and boise yo john is an og man like the amount of times I've seen this icon that comes up beside his emails in our inbox I can't see it his like blue cross thing it doesn't show for me I'll show you later dude John's been around
2:02:09Davis Torgerson:John and people like John are who we do this shit for man all of it appreciate you professional sports stadium him i don't fucking know dude
2:02:24that's an iconic one madison square garden dude same as uh taylor swift's wedding wow you dropped taylor swift's wedding as a definitely ain't travis kelsey's bro that's travis kelsey's right he's a passenger in that relationship bro wow like if they're on the motorcycle he's in like the little dune buggy thing on the side dude
2:02:49Davis Torgerson:he is disrespect bro you're saying she wears the pants bro oh clear clearly she's calling all the shots you joking me and you're chirping that um all right what do you mean am i chirping that what's wrong with that oh i'm not you brought you you took exception to what i just said I called it Taylor Swift's wedding and you took exception to that. We're football fans around here, man. Not Swifties.
2:03:25Davis Torgerson:Fuck, I don't know. What stadiums are there? SoFi is pretty cool. Oh, Jerry's World, man. Dude in Texas. We've never been there, though. I'm trying to think of somewhere I've been that I could put my stamp on.
2:03:46musical artist start oh it's gotta be drake dude i mean safe i wouldn't get down with that so it's gotta be someone we can agree on i guess it's gotta be both the same no but i'm saying like if we had a premiere at msg for the butt video you're not gonna want drake to perform yeah let's Just get 50, man. Yo, that would be hard. Yo, G-Unit diplomats versus. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That would be sick. Kill a cam in the building.
2:04:22Davis Torgerson:All right. You don't have a venue? Oh, so fine, man. Let's just go to L.A. and kick it. Okay. The homies. All right. next up we got an email from towel on trim yo safeadono ants i just watched the bunt video the other night and almost cried because i was so proud i've been listening to you guys since the soundcloud days so i've been waiting for this day for a long time i was curious which trick from each of your parts had you been thinking about the longest before getting the clip congratulations from the bottom of my heart. Keep up the incredible work. Big love. Tao pronounced Tao. Bro, you gotta put that at the beginning of the email.
2:05:09Davis Torgerson:Tao pronounced Tao. You gotta... I've emailed into some pods before, man. You gotta always put the pronunciation right at the beginning. No! Nah, fuck. Tao's a legend, dude. Tao. That was my boy's nickname in high school. recipes tony yayo um shit what was the question uh trick i've been thinking about dude i don't fucking land tricks like that man
2:05:46Davis Torgerson:damn i'm trying to remember what the fuck dude i thought about doing my opening line in the bunt video for two weeks before i went to detroit and it turned out to not be the line i actually was thinking about it's always like that like i just gotta switch it up in the moment i don't think i have one an answer for this yeah that happened to me too like the hubby switch crypt in puerto rico i was practicing switchback 5-0s so much before and then i got there and the run-up was so terrible that I had to go to good old faithful but probably switch smith I would say yeah true oh you were you had like you were ready to get that over with on that trip you did not enjoy the trip until that was done yeah I remember that I hadn't skated a handrail in like 10 years so even just board slide I was riding up to dude one of the best clips in like bunt video filming history was when Seifa was trying that I FaceTimed Nick Becerio and is it in a trailer or in the video where I run up to you with the phone but it's literally Nick Becerio on FaceTime getting Seifa hyped to do it and like if we didn't drop the video 10 years later we would have still had the clip on our phones but uh he was losing his mind when Seifa landed it's actually so fucking but i'm so bummed we lost that yeah and you know what's crazy shouts to dono for that because i'm not gonna lie i did board slide then switch front board and then i rode up to switch smith like so many times and i was like i was i feel like seconds away tens of seconds away from calling it just being too scared and then nick basario for our our real listeners know that the whole reason this ever even became a thing switch smith was because of him chirping them saying they're whack and as soon as i saw his face on that facetime i think that's what i'm like yo like i'm like i'm about to fucking do it right here and then i grinded it first try so i don't think i would have done that if i hadn't seen his face right then and there that was the motivation it was crazy he was like walking his daughter i think it was like super early in the morning he He was walking his kids to school with his neighbor.
2:08:08And his neighbor is like, why is this such a big deal? Why is everyone? Why are you freaking out? And I could hear him talking to him. He's like, because he doesn't have to do this. He's doing it for the love of the game. He's not professional. He just wants to do it, which makes it so sick. Big shouts to Nick, man. That was fucking dope. All right, y 'all. That's it. Get your emails, voice notes into thebuntlive at gmail.com. We'll see you all here next week.
2:08:39Davis Torgerson:Yeah, back to one of the first questions of the clips that meant the most to us. Nick, of course. Perfect transition, one song to the other. Kickflip, back three, hippie jump with Riley Brickin. That was special for the video, too. Iconic line. Jeff Campbell. Shout out.
2:09:06our friends over at nfl canada man they are something special they love hooking up the button listeners whether it's gear or tickets and we've already had a contest going for the last couple weeks but we need to extend it ghost what do you think we gotta give the
2:09:22Davis Torgerson:people a little bit more time yeah we're going till october 1st all right and most importantly we're adding a hashtag if you already posted retroactively go back edit it add the hashtag we're going bunt nfl 2026 all right we want to see all your clips in a jersey maybe just one tj watt jersey man just one clip one banger and you can win two tickets to the game of your choice preferably a bills game and i'll go with you we can go to highmark stadium the house of josh allen We want to see your clips, man. We love clips in jerseys, so this just makes sense. One clip, two tickets. Got your name on it.
2:10:08Davis Torgerson:October 1st. Tag NFL Canada. Tag the Bunt. Hashtag Bunt NFL 2026. All right. Bunt NFL 2026. Let's see what y 'all got. Welcome back to the Rundown brought to you by NFL Canada. And thanks to NFL Canada. We got something to look forward to next weekend, man Oh, big tings Big tings Massive And huge shout out But is this game What we thought it might be before Well, let me tell you something You know, the Bills sit at 3-0 But are they playing like a 3-0 team? They could be 0-3 I mean, they were going to beat Detroit Yeah Yeah, no, no They could be. They should have lost to the Texans. They should have got picked off.
2:11:02If the Chargers had any sort of game plan, they could have figured it out.
2:11:08Davis Torgerson:Five turnovers and they still lost. So, you know, I think we're a little bit down on the Patriots coming in. But the Bills are playing like they're playing awful. So we could still have a game here. Yeah. Not a good one. I hope so. I hope so. Patriots, like, no, A.J. Brown, that sucks. but when we requested these tickets before the season started it was like yo this is as good as the titans and uh drake may looks like he forgot how to play football so we'll see three weeks in the nfl can literally change everything like the amount of stuff that has happened in the first three weeks is insane and the injury bug i think that i feel like it always starts off really bad and then slowly kind of like gets a bit better because i don't know man it has been insane like we just lost baker a-chan dart since we last recorded like it's it's bad who else i'm probably missing someone else uh shit i hope not but fuck half the 49ers like mike evans nick bosa yeah but I think you're right I think early in the season it's going from your body not being used to gameplay if you can survive the first like month I feel like people are kind of more in the flow maybe because it does feel like every year early there's like those devastating ones and then they it's a little bit less as the season goes hopefully but yeah harsh harsh first three weeks for a lot of franchises hope AJ Brown you know six to eight weeks like it's it's rough out there yeah it's bad more surprising to Sean Watson at two and one the Cleveland faithful cheering for him which is absolutely insane or Drake mate crying on the sidelines was he crying I didn't see that
2:13:15Davis Torgerson:damn those are both very surprising what dude i'll go with deshaun because it's like he lost week one and the memes were out of control yeah you know they wanted him to hated him all that and then winning two games it's like what happens if they lose the next three to the i don't know what to do but uh i mean it's insane because there has to be some like resemblance of an NFL quarterback with him. He was great. He was a great player. So where did it? I don't know. I don't want to say I'm happy for him, but at least there's some positive energy in Cleveland. There's flashes, bro. That ended up being game-winning touchdown pass to Fannin.
2:14:03Davis Torgerson:That was flashes of Houston to Sean. Let me see. But then you look at the stats and it's like, bro, it's not 16 for 30 for 144 yards. Like, that's not anything special. But the defense is still great without Myles Garrett. They're keeping him in there. That's a Panthers defense that got lit up for 59 in week one. I mean, dude, the Panthers are another story, dude. I don't know what to make of them. But then Drake May on the opposite side of that. Super Bowl appearance MVP runner up can't make a pass yeah I don't think AJ Brown I mean that obviously hurts that's not enough of an excuse like that interception in the end zone what the hell was that but also dude AJ forced his way here thinking that he was getting this great young quarterback and this is what he has now this is all sorts of bad Homie got the yips, man.
2:15:07He's done. Dude, honestly, this is just insane. So final answer is Deshaun for you?
2:15:14Davis Torgerson:I'll say Deshaun because everyone was ready with pitchforks and thought. Even I thought for sure. I'm like, okay, they're going to go. I thought they. Lose to Tampa. And then he loses the job. And then management can say we tried. Yeah, they wanted him gone, right? They just didn't want to start with Shador because then. They couldn't go back. Can't go to that way. But so I think myself and the rest of the world was just like, yeah, Deshaun's been cooked. It's over. He's back, dude. This is the NFL. I'll go with Deshaun, too. Drake May, obviously, this is insane. The drop off is like unimaginable.
2:15:51But no one, no one thought that Deshaun would have any sort of success.
2:15:56Davis Torgerson:So six turnovers and one touchdown pass, I believe, for Drake May in three weeks. Wow. Not good. Not good. Next up, dude. Cleveland's still in this subject, but the AFC North logjam, four teams tied at 2-1. We knew it was going to be tight, but you're Steelers, man. They keep finding a way to ruin hopes of drafting. Crazy, man. It's the same thing every year. And their schedule is hella easy coming up. so they could honestly have another nine and eight is it yeah nine and eight season eight and nine like uh it's just it's so annoying and you know i don't know there's probably steelers fans out there that want these w's every week but and you know i'm not gonna front like i'm the biggest steelers fan born there and all that shit bleed fucking black and yellow but it's just like i'm just trying to look at the big picture and they're always trying to win now and they just don't have the pieces to do it but they just somehow win just enough to not have a great pick so we're trending that way again man it's fucking annoying can i say but who wins the division do the ravens eventually come out on top or the bangles i think that eventually you'll see some separation as the games go on and but it's close it always is bro since these defense looked elite for two weeks and then they just got lit up by old man rogers and then the ravens defense hasn't done much either so yeah i don't know i think right now i would lean slightly into the ravens because their offense with zay when zay's been playing like they look fucking unstoppable so we'll see.
2:17:49Dude, Sunday night football has been electric for weeks now. Last night did not disappoint. Little slow start. Bo Nix comes out and he can play again. He might be the quarterback I hate the most. Just looking at, I just hate the look of him. But did the Rams get screwed in the fourth quarter?
2:18:14Davis Torgerson:You know what? I thought it was P.I. When I just watched it live and then this when you slow-mo play like that It doesn't really look like it But he fully jolted him out of bounds like he pitched him out of bounds and then he pulled him back. So I don't wanna I Understand both sides but when I watched it live and I'll just stick with that decision I thought you know, he threw my boy out of bounds. He had no chance to catch that because of that shove What do you think? I thought he got screwed, man. I thought the calls were just leaning towards Denver at the end. And, yeah. You're talking about more than just that.
2:18:57Davis Torgerson:You're talking about how they kept getting flags at the two-yard line. Dude, they got nine downs to get in the fucking end zone. It was insane. Yeah. So, yeah. And if I was McVay, I would be pissed, too. And even with the Higby catch, the ref was two feet in front of Higby making that catch. and he's like out of bounds it's literally like you couldn't be closer so how are we supposed to judge him on the pass interference later on they overturned that but yeah i hear you yeah no thanks to that ref i'm not even a rams fan but when you see it like slowly happening you're like god damn man that was the ultimate i don't give a fuck the outcome of this game oh i didn't be a good game No, for some reason.
2:19:40Well, I mean, I just started cheering for the Rams towards the end. But it all could have been for naught. Or I guess none of this would have had to have happened if Stafford doesn't throw that bad pick. That was just a bad pick. Fonga, man. He was a beast.
2:19:57Davis Torgerson:He ate Stafford's food. Dude, and then at the end, Kyron Williams was pissed when he fucking ran him over at the end. That's what it is. Yeah, I didn't really care either, but good game. That was a great game. um bills chiefs raiders niners vikings all three you know most surprising i mean without a doubt it's got to be the raiders a little bit of vikings though too of course of course them too but i just trust the infrastructure there the coaching all that and even though they had to play basically two games with wentz but i'm saying like before the season started yeah not like game by game raiders man come on raiders for sure whose streak last uh let me look at the schedule because that's tough but bro raiders they must have been underdogs in every game they played oh raiders chiefs next week i'm sorry but that's a wrap baby and uh chiefs you wish uh the raiders three game win streak oh broncos niners and it's broncos niners vikings get the dolphins so oh my god yeah so vikings easy and then the saints oh you're saying who's street who can continue the longest no the saints are three you know no no no no that's coming later vikings get the saints next okay oh shit damn that's gonna be a good like kind of middle of the pack kind of almost ass teams, but like middle of the pack.
2:21:29Yo, why is Jacksonville always playing overseas somewhere, man? They're always getting screwed.
2:21:35Davis Torgerson:Oh, shit. My Bengals are going over there. Get to wake up early to some Joey crack. No, it's Eagles and Jags, man. What do you mean? I'm looking at week four. Why not? Is someone going away? You just said Jacksonville always goes away. Yeah, they're not the Bengals. They're the Jaguars. am i fucking on crack right now they're playing the bangles in week four oh no that's i was looking at the next week sorry oh um i think that the bills go the longest because the bills get the patriots and then after that oh the rams in week five shit man i don't know let's go rams it could It's a crapshoot, dude.
2:22:18Bad question. Moving right along. At Rams Monday night? That's going to be epic. Have the Rams played in primetime every game this season? Or like a standalone game? Like have they ever played at one or four?
2:22:36Davis Torgerson:That's a great question. What did they do week one? Week one? No, Thursday night week one. Last week, Giants Monday night. Yeah. I mean there's people talking about 17 and 0 before the season started so you know NFL's trying to put them in prime time as much as possible yeah how far can the Jags go they look incredible I would say I think they could get a conference finals game in there they can't get to the Super Bowl oh they could they could but I'm not gonna predict that right now but I really like the Jags, man. They've just kind of been so shit for so long and like an afterthought. And Trevor Lawrence, everyone you know, off him, myself included, you know.
2:23:23Davis Torgerson:Our whole fantasy league, because I was able to get him in round eight last year. Everyone was off him, and then back half of last year. It was incredible. Just turned it right the fuck up, man. So, I like to see it. You can only take one. JSN 100 % Jameer Gibbs. PPR, JSA. No, no. We don't play PPR. You're always. I was saying. You got to say everyone out there plays PPR. Who's everyone? I don't know anyone that does that. No, we're like in the. Trust me. Like, I swear it's probably like 80 % PPR these days. But I'm just saying for because our listeners who are listening to the rundown right now, most likely play PPR.
2:24:09Davis Torgerson:I was just giving both answers. So you have a different choice for PPR? Yeah. JSN PPR, non-PPR Gibbs. Why is Gibbs catching all sorts of passes, man? Yeah, but that's just how it is with these PPR fucking leagues, man. Receivers get the bump. Gibbs had seven receptions. I will say that... Seven receptions? It's easier for a running back to sustain these fucking 30-point weeks in non-PPR. than it is for a receiver. But, bro, the homie had, I think when he caught his fifth touchdown, he had five out of six touchdowns through three weeks, and then he caught another one. So that fool's got six touchdowns in three weeks, man.
2:24:53Davis Torgerson:He's incredible. And that was with Drew Locke most of the time. God damn. I think that's literally the same person, Drew Locke and Sam Darnold. It's not like some elite quarterback play he's missing. That's all I got, man. I'm just excited to go to Buffalo. Josh Allen's brand new house. I'm just sad there's no other Bills fans coming, man. We got me. We got a Steelers fan. We got a Raiders fan. And then we got a guy that was a Steelers fan. And then in the playoffs, he cheered for Buffalo. And then he ultimately made the switch to Chicago. Just one Buffalo. He planted his flag finally. So at least we got to give him credit for that.
2:25:34Davis Torgerson:Shouts, Willie D. yeah no this is gonna be awesome prediction the new england patriots finally figured it out yeah and they beat the bills with a bunch of rushing touchdowns in a low scoring game this is how do you get a bunch of rushing touchdowns in a low scoring game oh it's just this guy anytime he tries to make a prediction or some sort of bold statement, it leans towards working for his fantasy team. Of course. That's the only way. I got to go in with... I'm against Drake May in fantasy, but I want the Bills to lose. No, it's going to be a light show. I think Drake May shows signs of life.
2:26:19I don't know how, but he will. And 28-24 Bills. I want a big I want a good game man Last year we saw Bills and Chiefs We were hoping for An absolute shootout And it wasn't There's like Rushing touchdowns Was all we saw So we're hoping We're hoping Might have been the only game In Mahomes career Where he didn't have A passing touchdown Yo best NFL game You've seen live
2:26:51Davis Torgerson:Oh that's way too easy That was The Vikings game Vikings At Bills Justin Jefferson Fourth and 18 or 4th and 17 and then the fumble in the end zone TD overtime, Captain Kirk We need something like that We need something like that Alright y 'all, go Second place was Steelers Bengals was also electric Oh that's true, that's true, the old age bowl Yeah, big field goal to win a high scoring affair That is true, and you saw OT in London or Bruin Oh yeah, that was sick too Damn, I just hope for a good game alright y 'all y 'all know where to find us next week that's it
